Beautiful cafe with long tradition of hosting important Italian artists and personalities through long decades of its existence (such as Gabrielle D’Annunzio for example). Stylish interiors, good coffee served, very convenient location. Unfortunately it is from our experience true that the service here leaves a lot to wish for… Some members of staff were quite pleasant but mostly we were ignored and felt welcomed more by the regular guests than waiting staff.

Service - excellent, staff friendly and attentive. Food- 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 coffees and a bottle of water- everything was very tasty and only €58 in the heart of Cagliari. Highly recommend!

Italian cuisine, service, and cafe-restaurant vibe done right. You won't get served better coffee in a more ambient location in Cagliari, and the food was very nice too. A must visit if you want to relax and people watch near the busy roundabout and bastion across the road. Lovely.

This was the perfect setting, right in the centre of town beautiful outside seating area with a wall and railings for some privacy from the crowds. It was the perfect spot for people watching. The waitressing staff were attentive and worked so hard. They explained the menu and we had some lovely food. We had a lovely evening with a few drinks and some lovely food topped with outstanding service. You won't be disappointed if you decide to pop in for a drink and or a meal.

I had a good seafood risotto in the restaurant, which they modified into a lactose-free version. There was a great atmosphere of the city center. However, We were shocked, that the staff poorly speaks English and behaves arrogantly towards tourists.

We visited Cagliari for an entire month and ordered a fresh fruit Danish pastry and cappuccino here for breakfast almost every day. After the first week our friendly waiter just brought our order without asking. Outstanding!

What a location! The bar is located in the heart of Cagliari, close to the harbour and furnished with a stylish interior. It seems to be well isolated, because you can hear almost no traffic noises inside. Everyone will find something (or even a typical italian snack) on the menu.

The café had a refined and pleasant atmosphere, with beautiful architectural details and a calm, welcoming vibe. The staff were courteous and attentive, contributing to an overall positive experience. Both the coffee and desserts were well-prepared and enjoyable, with thoughtful presentation.

I read some reviews online and was a bit sceptical about this place, but have to admit - it was good! We came quiet late for a quick bite and a dessert and we’re not disappointed- the staff was really attentive and friendly, they offered us great table and accommodated our wishes. And the atmosphere was great too!

Please do avoid!!! Terrible service, quality and cost of the pastry it is unacceptable (I am from Sardinia and I can guarantee you need to avoid that place at all cost) Please do go two doors down (there is a high end pastry place called Ditrizio, it may be more expensive but you get what you pay for). Came in here at 11 to hear that all the pastry are reserved for don’t know who. The guy that brought us drinks slammed the cappuccinos on the table. Please do avoid this place

Historical establishment with great breakfast/brunch. A must go. Loved the uniforms and how the personnel seem to proudly work there.

I stopped here on the way from the airport for my first coffee in Sardinia, because I heard that it's worth trying the local "meringue grande". The coffee and meringue were very tasty, and the old furniture and all the interior design create a unique atmosphere, as if I had gone back in time to the 19th century. Similarly, the great service team makes you want to stay here and come back. Thank you and I will definitely come back here :)

A small café bar and pasticceria in the heart of the old city. There are only two tables inside but quite a few across the street on a small nice place where you can watch the scenery. Very friendly staff and good coffee beside some very fine deserts and snacks to a glass of vine or prosecco (5 Euro per glass).

Small old stand up coffee bar. A few seats inside. Great coffee and a selection of pastries also. Been here several times, always excellent. Lovey people serving. Cousins and chocolates on sale also. I tried the White Zenzerino. A ginger liquer. A digestive they claim. Supposedly helps with throat issues. Since I am a big fan of ginger I liked it. There is also a Black version.

The sunset view was amazing!! Best service we have had while visiting. Everything we ate was so tasty! My seven year old is a picky eater and she said the pasta was 10/10!

First, the pros: a beautiful terrace with an impressive view. Now the cons: the staff, who don't even notice you. The food is delicious, but for the price, you expect more. You pay for the view, sure, but the food and atmosphere are totally not worth the price. I won't be repeating it.

Lovely place with a great view. The staff is friendly and doesn’t switch to English when you try to speak Italian. The food tastes really good even tho it is a bit pricey! There isn’t a lot of vegetarian options if you are looking for some but the classic pasta with tomato sauce remains a good choice.

One of the nicest spots in Cagliari. They serve a really good cappuccino and offer a wide variety of options, both sweet and savory, including cakes, croissants, Sardinian sweets, and pizzette sfoglia (mini puff pastry pizzas). Prices are a bit on the higher side for the products. The staff is very welcoming, and the location is well-maintained and inviting.

Tired, hot and hungry we decided to rest our weary heads after a long trip from the airport. This was the perfect place for a light snack. Friendly welcome, lots of choice, value for money and helpful staff that were only too happy to explain the options. Clean. We sat and ate our small but perfectly formed 'bites' and felt as if we had been in Sardinia for days! Very relaxing, left with a doggy bag - highly recommended!

Lovely pastry shop in the heart of the marina district. I’ve been a longtime fan of the tarta della nonna, and theirs was absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, great coffee, and fun little love fortune-telling book on every table. Highly recommended 🤗

This place is amazing, the coffee was very good and food was delicious, it’s clearly that they use fresh ingredients. The place is popular so you might wait a little to be seated but it’s worth it. Andrea, the owner is extremely dedicated and he does his best to accommodate everyone. He is very friendly, polite and will let you know straight away roughly how long you’ll have to wait for the food and drinks. Very welcoming, make sure you pass by if you’re looking for a lovely brunch.

I went to Caffè dell'Arte recently while traveling. I've searched for good café options on Cagliari, and decided to go there, and it was amazing. Andrea is very passionate with coffee and explained a lot to us about the beans and the flavors. I've ordered two espressos and one cappuccino, all of them were perfect. Furthermore, Andrea gave us some recommendation on where to visit and where to eat later. It was very nice. This place worth the visit. Amazing coffee, service and food. I mean.. I don’t even know where to start😅 my boyfriend and I had the breakfast here this morning and I’m still thinking about that french toast haha. I can’t recommend enough to visit this place if you’re in Cagliari (either for breakfast/ brunch or just drinks), the vibe, the good old music in the background, the welcoming feeling when you come in, the fresh coffee smell from the galery.. everything is perfect and absolutely made our day today. Andrea (the waiter) does amazing job over here cause if it wasn’t for his energy, obvious passion and politeness to others, this wouldn’t be it.. it’s not just about the food- this makes the whole package. So yeah, if you’re reading this and thinking should we go or not- GO! And please try that french toast, I’ve never had better one. On top of it all, prices are really funny for such a nice experience. Thank you Andrea, keep up the good work!🥰

Cool spot, lively and yet intimate atmosphere. Our host Andrea was an absolute gem. The menu is small, with creative twists on classic favourites. The Savada French toast (add bacon) was life changing, like no other French toast I've ever had. The coffee was top notch, spring for the specialty option! All for an extremely reasonable price.

this is an amazing place if your into speciality coffee! even if you’re not, you should come here anyway! i came here with my family while on holiday and we all loved it. my sister is vegan and they had so many options for her (drinks and food). Andrea is lovely and was so welcoming and knowledgeable! he gave us a little flyer he made with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit while we were on holiday which we really appreciated :) We’re from the south of england and are spoilt with speciality coffee shops but i was we had this place at home as well!

What a great start to the morning. A lovely oat milk latte and yummy, energising coffee, maple french toast. So good to see plenty of vegan options on the menu, all served by lovely, attentive staff! Great playlist too!

We had mixed feelings about this place. On the positive side, the food was very enjoyable. We started with the carpaccio di polpo, which was fresh and flavorful. For mains, we had the linguine porro e calamaro and linguine vongole e bottarga—both dishes were well-prepared and tasty, though the portions were just okay. We also had two Aperol Spritz, which were nicely made. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. We had to chase down the waiters for anything—no one came over to check on the food, ask if we needed anything else, or even offer dessert. They didn’t even print the bill—just gave us a total verbally. And to top it off, they include a 15% service charge, which felt unfair given that we received no real “service” at all. The food is worth trying, but be prepared for a very hands-off dining experience. I wouldn’t return unless the service improves.

The horse steak and beef steak weren’t very good but the location of the restaurant and presentation of the food were excellent. Would probably get just a burger or pasta next time. July 2024.

We ate there yesterday, we have some dietary restrictions so even though it‘s supposed to be great for fish ( they also had some typical sardinian food ) we got the patatas bravas and the angus burger. The potatoes were a bit underwhelming but the burger was delicious! It was also a very big portion that included a salad and some oven roasted potatoes as a side. I dis not take a picture at the Burger but it was teally really delicious. The service was amazing, really nice and very helpful. The views are beautifull since it‘s directly on the beach.

Guests were super nice, the server however - rude and dismissive. Funnily several guests told me that one server spoke English, I approached him to ask if I can have a drink brought to sunbed and dine afterwards maybe with a deposit,but k never got to ask that, as he looked at me for a second and when I asked if he spoke English he said no, when I asked if anyone else does, he said no again and left 🤨, however the guests that advised me to speak to him tried to get him to come back. I thanked the guests and said I am not staying so no need. They obviously didn't need me as a client, and I won't be staying there even if he is suddenly miraculously is able to speak English when management is called. So I left. I won't recommend this place to foreigners.

Good pit stop before heading to the beach. The atmosphere was great and nice scenery of the water and beach line. The restaurant and area can get really crowded due to the it being on the largest beaches in the area. The food was really good and a good amount for what you order. You should expect to spend at least 25 euro per person. There may be random cats that come up on the deck but I assure you that they are very friendly. Lastly, the fresh fish is highly recommended, get the Orata!

Beach bar, ok for coffee and drinks

This establishment is a fantastic find located at the renowned Poetto Beach. It offers a pleasant setting where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful beach view. During our visit, we had the opportunity to try their delicious variation of spicy potatoes called "papas bravas" accompanied by deli meat. The ambiance of the place is exceptionally delightful.

On the last day of our vacation we have been dining in this restaurant - actually in front of the restaurant as outside table in the street with sufficient place in a very nice ambience and table setting. The service was good and friendly, the dishes have been tastefully prepared. We ordered a dinner menu, a selection to be done of one 1st course (out of 4) and a 2 course (out of 4), one side-dish, crispy roasted bread, cafe and 1/4 glass of wine (or 0,5l water). Portions have been medium-sized, taste of all items have been good. The price was 20€ per person - very good for what you get presented. Will definitely come again next time in Cagliari.

We ordered steaks, pasta and meatballs. Service was prompt (there was nobody else) however unaware/oblivious to the meatballs left untouched. We could not eat the meatballs, we found them stale and too bready. Steaks were ok. Coca cola was great. Did not like the setting and atmosphere. Too dark and gloomy. The host was kind. However, after both me and my wife left a review, we were met with inappropriate comments. I then then read more reviews and saw the pattern: the comments left to negative comments are appalling. You can disagree but, for the good of your business, you should not disrespect.

Unbelievable value for price! We had a €20 lunch deal which included delicious fresh crab pasta, fish, wine and coffee. We were also impressed by the good service and the attention to details providing refreshing wipes and tools to facilitate eating the fresh fish. Antica Hostaria is honestly the only place to be at lunchtime!!

Very nice freshly prepared food and service in what is called the Marina, an area of Cagliari town centre now wholly requalified and with plenty of restaurants. The standard and quality are high, and the timing with which you're served food is just about right, giving you the option to not being overflood. I had dinner outside, because the summer heat was not inviting for anything else, but had a chance to pop in for a quick visit to the loo too, and that when I saw the fresh fish display, with all the fragrance of the fish inebriating me as soon as I was in. Before leaving, be sure to have a taste of the owner homemade Mirto, a typical after-dinner alcoholic digestive. It's one of the best I tasted in my life.

a few days ago we had the opportunity to eat at this place ... I would like to share my opinion about this place: 1. very nice service, 2. very good food, and that's the end of the positives ... 3. total lack of organization, very bad communication with the waiter ( actually waiters/waitress) after placing the order they got the order wrong twice… they asked what we actually ordered (although they wrote down on a piece of paper) 4. portions, e.g. very small cheeses, 5. coperto in the amount of 7.5 euros (something unbelievable ...) 6. they added 2.5 euros extra for coca cola which we didn't order and didn't get... 7. dark and smelly outside at the tables. to sum up, I do not recommend this bar (imitation restaurant), you will be cheated in it, everyone should form their own opinion but is it worth wasting time and money!?

Great location, clean and comfortable room, 24 hr front desk. We arrived late, so that was nice. We had booked for two twins, but the king hadn't been separated when we arrived. They gave us some extra sheets and said we could do it ourselves. True, but also kind of strange.

Great, charming, well decorated hotel; perfect location for the old city, the train and bus station; friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable, spotless and quiet. Good breakfast and we enjoyed the displays of the vintage toys displayed on the staircase. Because it is located in the city there is no parking available at the hotel itself but they have a limited amount of discount vouchers for the nearby secure car park (call ahead, perhaps) - otherwise, as we did, you have to pay the full amount, 1.80 euros/hr. A free car park is a little further away but it’s not secure so don’t leave anything visible in the car.

Really a nice place with charming decor. A full restaurant. Included breakfast is great. Large bathroom. Good bed, firm. AC would not stay in but it would work fine when I tricked it into running. Not a huge deal. There was a nice balcony overlooking a parking area behind the old buildings. So the view was no big deal but it was nice having the balcony People were very nice. Location very close to the restaurants and shops. We could not drive onto the block where the hotel is so, we had to park and quickly bring our luggage a half block to the lobby, get the parking ticket, then go move the car to the provided lot Nearby. The lot is a few minutes away so you kinda have to do it this way. I would stay there again.

Very friendly and professionally run place. The food at the restaurant was excellent with many traditional dishes. All staff and members were friendly warm and very attentive. We felt at home .

We were so pleased with our stay!! The location couldn’t be more convenient and our room was extremely pleasant and clean. The bed was large and very comfortable, plus we had a huge window with great natural light. It is right in the center of the restaurant area, but inside the building everything is totally silent. Plus, the service was all-around spectacular—all of the front desk employees were eager to help make our stay as smooth as possible, and they did. They also provide free parking at a protected lot around the corner if you book your stay with the hotel directly!

Super near to the train station. Rooms are perfect, everything is working well. Decoration is beautiful. We had the sweet suits, with a large balcony. Food is great, everyone is listening to your needs and cleaning ladies are absolutely adorable. Shower products are very good. Perfect stay at flora.

Stayed here for 9 nights recently. We were quite surprised by some of the bad reviews actually as our experience was excellent. We found all the staff to be very polite, friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was nothing fancy, but more that adequate with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, breads and a few warm items. The location of the hotel can’t be beat, right next to the main dining streets. The hotel was spotlessly clean with daily turnover by the cleaners who were also very friendly. We were in room 102 that had a huge outdoor terrace with seating. Total value for money and highly recommend this hotel

They have an offer for two aperitivo and something to eat for 20 Euro which they quite visible advertise. We pointed to it and told that this is what we wanted and we chose from the aperitives from the menu. Unfortunately (beside beer) only Aperol Spritz is a valid "Aperitivo" for this offer?! We then agreed and he asked us if we wanted small or big drinks. We first said big to which he replied that this will cost 30 Euro instead. We then chose to just get two aperitivo from the menu and nothing more. We could observe that two other tourist groups also were confused and when asked about the size and directly pointing at our glasses to understand if that would be small, he chose to not answer it and only said "well, small is small". This is far from professional behaviour and unfortunately gives a bed feeling of cheating for an otherwise nice bar. -- Edit (in response to the answer): I added a picture of the board where I clearly pointed to for ordering (as well as the other tourists actually). I can't see the limitations about the possible drinks there and neither something about the size differences. If international standard size applies, then no need to describe it as small? If the waiter would go like "sure, if you want though, we could also offer big cocktails, but then the prize would be 30 Euro", then it would be a different story.

Quite disappointing experience here, food is just eatable , cocktails drinkable...but we had I lot of fun,when waiter brought us burger for my kid. There were only dried beef, french fries and miserable leaf of salad. And on my reasonable question "where's the rest of the burger?" I just got impolite answer" THAT is a burger! What did you expect from burger for KID??" Do I felt a bit stupid, because IMHO burger is made of buns, sauce, lattice, beef, tomato/pickle. Even for kids. Many thanks for other waiter,which tried to solve this situation. And last but not least, everything is overpriced. Very comfortable kid's area.

What a great spot to work from. I'm traveling from Canada and needed a cafe to quietly work from and this place was perfect. Also great aperol spritz!

Had reservations to go somewhere else but decided to stop here instead. What a great choice. Ambiance was great and service was extremely helpful and friendly. Food was amazing, and we had great wine and an XL Hugo Spritz which was perfect. Would totally recommend as a chill hangout. Some say overpriced (?) but was worth every penny.

Lovely place in the center of Cagliari which is open from early in the morning till late at the night. We have been there several times with a group of friends, had a nice cocktails 🍹 warm welcome and enjoyed the atmosphere. The place has a huge terrace with comfortable sofas and chairs. It is very clean both inside and outside. Each drink is accompanied with delicious appetizers. You can also have plate with Sardinian snakes, which is generously sized.

Great pizza, different ingredients options for the base. There were 7 of us and we all loved our options. The restaurant was full but nonetheless the service was really quick!

Very confortable place, food is so good. I had a baptism last week, and I'll recommend to everyone this place. The waiters are very nice and available to any request. Last, I tryed also their gelato, and I was so surprised how good it was. Pistacchio, they do the paste from the raw seeds (who does that today? Is a lot of work, but the flavor is delicious) The Malaga, amazing...the Pardula... I'll go every time I can! Strongly recommend +++

This place such a lovely place for lunch. Especially the woman who works in the place. There was a language barrier between me and the woman who worked there but still managed to understand each other. If staying up here I’d highly suggest it.

Very poor service, we asked for avocado toast at 10:30 in the morning, they did not have any avodaco, then we asked for a toast with tomato and cheese, the waiter said okay we’ll make it, then we waited 20minutes and complained and 4 minutes later they brought a toast with salad and cheese, but at least we didnt have to pay for it.. also the matcha cappucciono was not good.. overally the place is really nice but the service was really disappointing.

One of the best panetteria of Cagliari. It is located in the heart of the city. The bread is absolutely delicious. You can find different types of bread (plain, brown, with seed etc). Also they offer a range of pastries and cakes and you can eat in with a very good Italian Sardinian coffee. The staff is very nice and quickly serving the client. You don't need to wait too long to get your bread or pastries. Last week I walked in and I got some Italian zeppole and fatti fritti (made during the carnival time) and I have to admit that they were absolutely delicious and so tasty. Highly recommended!! A well-maintained and nicely designed spot with a wide variety of offerings. It can feel a bit chaotic at times, possibly due to the tightly packed tables, so I’d recommend stopping by when it’s less crowded. Given the prices, I was expecting a bit more, especially from the mini pastries. The chocolate, in particular, seemed too cold, which gave it a slightly watery taste. That said, they’ve only recently opened, so I’m willing to give it another try.

We came by for a quick coffee stop and fell in love with this lovely, serene place. The design is modern and stylish, and the staff were very friendly. We would love to come back to try the pastries!

3 nights in CAG, 4 visits of Matrice! 3 breakfasts and one evening gelato. Very nice welcoming service. Love the interiors that cost probably lot of money, but well invested. The pastries and savory croissants been delicious as well as coffee and matcha! Pistachio gelato is must try.

The first proper sushi restaurant i've been to and it met and far surpassed my expectations! All the staff were extremely polite and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. I picked 4 dishes from the Cena menu for an economical €20- Tonno (Tuna) Hosomaki, Salmon Uramaki, a Tiger roll, and Prawn Tempura. I also had Pistachio, Chocolate and Vanilla Mochi for Desert. I will be coming again!

They got served before us. That was another example to confirm that our waitress was badly trained and organized. This isn't opposite to confirm that there should be an additional Server because she needed to care about 20 guests. Finally we were able to order 1: Wakame (6 €) 2: Sashimi Salmone ( 4 pieces = 7 €) 3: Sashimi Tonno ( 4 pieces = 7 €) 4: Gambero Rosso ( 4 pieces = 18 €) 5: Scampi ( 4 pieces = 18 €) 6: Mineralwater 0,75 l = 3 € 7: Tiramisu = 6 € All of the Meals were fresh and of good quality charged at fair prices. Tried their steak because it was pretty cheap for a t-bone for €29 but boy was that a mistake. We ordered it medium and it came completely rare and unseasoned, it was bad. BUT the waitress reccomend their Culurgiones (sardinian pasta) and it was the best Culurgiones I've had in the city, probably because their version are slightly chewier and had no mint on it (the traditional ones came with mint and I am not a big fan of that). Their bread is delicious but didn't try their pastries. They also make good Aperol Spritz and their digital menu offers menu in English so that is very helpful, price is okay and I could easily give 5 stars for their Culurgiones and their pretty cafe, but the steak was so bad and their caprese was very mid so I have to knock it down to 4 stars.

I’m giving a rating of two stars only because of the good atmosphere. This was the worst octopus I’ve ever had — dry with a burnt black crust and poorly cooked. We ate it only because we had been hungry all day, but it didn’t bring out the flavor of the seafood at all — just a burnt taste. Great little place. First off, it is table service so if you want to sit outside someone will come take your order eventually. We could see they were busy trying to clear tables, but while we waited we saw another couple abandon hope and left. We got served just after so they would have too. The worst experience ever! The staff is literally horrible! The waitress sighed and rolled her eyes at us when we asked for ice cubes. The way she slammed the cup with ice cubes on the table without saying a word was also not done! When I asked the waiter inside for what's in the sandwiches; it was too much to ask for as well... He kept saying 'sit, sit'... They are however friendly with italian speaking customers and white people in general. I cannot recommend! Ps the food is mediocre.

Poured 3 parts of liquid into a champagne flute glass... which I realized would then be my "smoothie" ...the fruit detox. 1) the single slice of toast Benedict Avo, 10€. I had some hard (unripened) avo on the toast. Eggs were GOOD quality! No salt, though...added myself. Hollandaise sauce lacked flavour... little lemon/salt/flavour....maybe too much butter added? Overall, unimpressed by the meal. Too expensive for what it was...I've had this at many other places and they charge similar...but use amazing home baked thick sliced bread. Change your bread and fix the Hollandaise. 2) Cuppucinno was good...took long to arrive, but very nice coffee...made well. Happy to not receive a latte 3) pancakes with fruit...nice! Salted caramel sauce wasn't nice. We LOVE salted caramel but this particular sauce was disappointing. Price good 8€ 4) Smoothie, disappointing. From what I saw at the bar while waiting for our table, the splash of 3 parts of liquid and charging 5€ needs review. Also, the super tiny glass isn't great. I really needed to watch my consumption...as to avoid finishing it all is 3-4 normal sips. This is a 2-3€ drink, not 5€...OR, keep the price the same, and serve a larger portion in a different glass - no need to be pretentious. 5) Chia seed bowl had a nice selection of fruit. Price was fair 8€. All good. ...

The coffee, the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all exquisite. I had the Benedict toast with avocado and added bacon. Every bite was delightful! My partner had the nutty pancakes which were also excellent. The environment was comfortable and relaxing. I can’t B-liv how good it is 😂

Really liked the place. It has quite a modern ambiance with chic decor which is refreshing. I was so glad to see the brunch menu. The matcha coffee was great. Unfortunately they didn’t have some ingredients for some of the smoothies we asked. But we really liked the place. The staff was cordial and could speak English for most part. It’s also conveniently next to the park and very close the the train station. Apparently it’s open until 3am. So I guess it’s a popular drink spot for the night too. I would go back and try a few more of their dishes from brunch menu.

Nice atmosphere and decent food — we tried the croissant and coffee and enjoyed both. Some of the staff were quite friendly, but our experience during a return visit was disappointing. We sat at an empty table in a less crowded period, but the waitress asked us to move unless we were ordering from the brunch menu. We found Micibo by exploring places on Google Maps. The place is, like the reviews say, indeed very clean and tidy. Tho you can smell the cats. Pistache cheesecake was a bit sweet to my taste but still good. Brownie and coffee were perfect. We could not pet the cats a lot because most of them were sleeping (we were there between 16:15 and 17:00) and we didn’t want to interrupt them. One cat was a bit more active and jumped onto tables or people’s lap; very friendly and cuddly. The personnel was also very friendly. Recommend this place! By the way, a great plus: the cats are all rescued and find their home at the cafe for multiple years.

This really needs to be rated higher! It's the perfect spot for drinks and to get a sense of the local nightlife in Cagliari. My partner and I went here twice during a single weekend! Each time we went for drinks after dinner, and had a brilliant time. There are people from all walks of life, students, middle aged, older, even with children, it's relaxed and it feels like everyone is welcome. The service is prompt, bar only, with wines at 4€ and spritzes at 7€. There's also a DJ, the volume is just right that you can dance but also have a conversation without straining your voice. And you're at the very top of the city, making for fantastic views!

We drunk here coffee maroccino and espresso which we recommend. It was really nice place to sit and just chill out. Unfortunately the staff wasn't speaking English but it wasn't problematic.

The high price is for tourists, as Cafe San Remy sits at the steps of Bastione Saint Remy, a main tourist attraction. My cappuccino was fine, service was also fine, in fact good. The have really good coffee, one of the best gelato I've had in Italy and also very very good pastries BUT their waitress are the most plastic waitress I've ever had in my life! They are very nice with locals and caucasian but extremely stoic and downside rude towards young southeast asians like us. I love their product so much that I endure and still coming back for their product but their waitresses attitude is just so unfortunate, my friends never wanted to comeback because of how they're treating us but I gave them second chance yet still deeply disappointed by them. The cashier especially, she fake smiled and looking at us with such cold & judgy eyes it is just heartbreaking to see, like, back home we're trying our best to every foreign tourist feel welcome, it is just sad that they weren't even trying.
