Had happy hour cocktails here on a random Monday night. Buy 1 get 1 on the classic cocktail range. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive and the Dark, quiet, moody atmosphere was just what we were looking for in a cocktail bar. We will try to be back!

After a long day on a cruise tour, we returned to the city quite late and originally planned to have dinner at 4P’s Pizza, but they were no longer accepting customers. Wandering aimlessly through the streets, we stumbled upon Polite—a bar that happened to be on my travel list. So we decided to walk in for drinks and a bite to eat. To our surprise, they also served pizza, and we went with the seafood one. The bartender confidently said it was even better than 4P’s—and honestly, it really was delicious! The bartender’s English wasn’t perfect, so there were a few small misunderstandings at first, but nothing serious. We ordered several cocktails from the menu, and all of them were excellent. Later, I started using a translation app to communicate in Vietnamese, and the bartender immediately understood and even made some customized drinks for us. That was truly impressive. My husband and I ended up having 6-7 cocktails and having a really wonderful night here. Thank you to the bartender for making it such a great experience!

An interesting Cocktail bar. Feels like a speakeasy with classic cocktails in a retro setting. The menu was extensive and they had a great list of spirits. We came in as soon as they opened on a weekday. They did have a happy hour deal going on. The drinks were interesting, but they just weren’t really amazing. I had tried an Ube cocktail that was inspired from the Philippines. I think that they should change the ice that was used as a pebbled ice on this drink didn’t compliment the flavors. The atmosphere and service was very good. I would come back the next time. I’m in Hanoi and maybe order something else.

We happened across this bar in the old quarter looking for pre-dinner cocktails. This bar is so cool! It should be packed with patrons but I’m so glad it’s not, it’s a quiet, chilled, sultry atmosphere. It’s like a smokey, (without the smoke) speakeasy bar with every drink available you could ask for. The staff are perfect - don’t walk, run here for a great experience.

We had a very disappointing experience at Polite & Co in Hanoi. After ordering and paying, we asked whether the canapés served were vegetarian — and got two completely different answers from two staff members, including the manager. The team seemed confused and could not give us a clear reply. This is unacceptable for a place that claims to be premium. The service and management were unprofessional, leaving us with zero confidence in what we were served. The cocktails were good, but that was the only positive point. Unfortunately, even one star feels generous given the lack of basic communication and care for guests’ dietary needs. Despite when this repeatedly upon paying the bill, we are shut off and made uncomfortable.

Absolute gem of a pub, and one of my favourite memories in Hanoi. All the Staff are very attentive (Ms Lin especially) to every need. I must say that they also have a fantastic fashion sense, with some very cool tattoos. The Bartender (Mr Dram I think) is for sure a very trained mixologist, the Old Fashioned was an absolute delight to savour along with the music and beautiful ambience lent by the tasteful interiors. I highly recommend Polite & Co, to everyone interested in a whiskey crawl in Hanoi.

I have just visited here in a Saturday, brought my cigar and expected a calm, jazzy space for my cigar. I came in, the music was crazily noisy, the service was horrible and they brought me some rum in a normal glass cup. When i asked for a snifter cup, they said they had no more. Really disappointed for a place called itself "cigar bar", "polite", "gentlemen's bar", "premium". I will never come back after this horrible experience.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The cocktails are SO innovative and delicious. From savory cocktails topped with rice paper to smoky foam topped ones… it’s like nothing I’ve ever had. I travel for work and have been literally all over the world and this menu is like nothing I’ve ever seen. I also live in Miami and worked in fine dining restaurants. The cocktails here are under priced in my opinion. If you are in Hanoi please make this place a priority! Highly recommend!!

This is a cool Hanoi cocktail bar for sure but I had only an ok experience. Space is warm and cozy, and the drinks have a broad selection of Vietnam inspired signature cocktails using local flavors. My 4 stars versus 5 is for two reasons-flavor profile of drinks was sweeter then my taste and the bartender let me know that they took some of the drier or more booze forward cocktails off the menu. Service also was a little bit cold, which is surprising as my experience has been so warm in other places.

a small hidden gem in town! the place is pretty cozy and welcoming, with a great atmosphere for a chit chat. the bartender speaks good english and is superrr friendly, willingly to explain everything clearly and introduced the drinks with passion. the bar has a long list of their viet dish inspired cocktails, which are creative and delicious. highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an experience of interesting drink in a cozy place.

We were recommended Nê Cocktail Bar by another excellent spot we visited in Da Nang, Đo Yêu, and it ended up being one memorable cocktail experiences of our trip. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a complimentary vodka milk punch. It was smoothly delicious, and the perfect way to start the evening. We ordered the Xu Dừa and the Phở Cocktail. The Xu Dừa was rich, savoury, and perfectly balanced. The Phở Cocktail was bold and incredibly unique. It genuinely tasted like phở, in a way that was both surprising and intriguing. "Watching it being prepared was an experience in itself, combining flair and precision in a way that made it feel like a performance. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive to our needs. You could tell they had great team spirit, which created a really positive and comfortable vibe. There was live music when we visited, and the singers were truly talented — the kind you could easily see on a TV talent show! The ambiance was warm and energetic, though it did get a bit hot inside. Also, the scented candle near the bar was a little overpowering, and the bar stools could be more comfortable. But honestly, those were minor details in an otherwise fantastic cocktail tasting experience.

Fantastic spot. The cocktails are innovative and well crafted. Service was friendly and welcoming. If I had a longer stay, Id come back to try half the menu. Highly recommend the pho cocktail if you want to see what they can do with essence and expression. It's dry and clean on the palate without a strong taste, but immense on the nose. The herbal and spice notes are incredible at mimicking a fresh dish of pho noodles. You almost expect to taste bone broth. Lovely balance of the gin, cointreau, and spices. It does seem like this place favors gin in their house cocktails, which is a personal favorite.

One of the best cocktails I've had and the creation process was insane! Pho really tasted of Pho but also made an amazing cocktail. My wife's was great too but the Pho was the star of the show.

We visited Top of Hanoi Bar and the experience was truly memorable. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking – being the tallest building in Hanoi, it gives a panoramic look at the entire city. It’s not just about the height; the ambiance is equally beautiful. The bar itself is one of the biggest in Hanoi, which makes the vibe lively and energetic. The photos we clicked came out really amazing because the lighting is just perfect, especially during the evening when the city lights start glowing. It’s definitely a great spot if you enjoy rooftop experiences and want some stunning pictures. Of course, being a rooftop bar, the only drawback is when it rains – it gets a little disappointing since the open-air setup loses its charm. But apart from that, everything else was well worth it. The food was delicious, and the drinks were refreshing and well-prepared. If you are in Hanoi, I would definitely recommend visiting this place at least once. It’s perfect for enjoying the skyline, relaxing with friends, and making great memories.

From 66th floor looking at Hanoi gave me wonderful experience. Hanoi with busy streets looks more exiting at night time. It’s really a picture of beautiful and modern city. The roof top bar has amazing music. Truely love it. Highly recommend to everyone.

A must-see experience in Hanoi! Having a drink with this view is absolutely amazing. Once you get to the top, you realize how huge Hanoi really is. Enjoying a drink on the 67th floor of the second tallest building in the city is definitely worth it.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. The main focus is on cocktails and drinks, along with some small bites to go with the beverages. Since we hadn’t had dinner, there weren’t many food options for us. Although it's called a skybar, there wasn’t really any night view to speak of—at most, it’s just on a rooftop. The environment is suitable for chatting with friends comfortably without being too noisy. Food Review: The nachos were okay, but the sauce was a bit lacking. It would be more balanced if there were more meat sauce and cheese. The fries were average. There was a small platter with one or two tasty items, but the rest were just so-so. Overall: It’s a place more for enjoying the service and ambiance. As for the drinks, cocktails, and food—I found them all to be just average.

This skybar is incredible ! The atmosphere is wonderful and we happen to go on a really breezy evening. Kelvin greeted us and offered us great suggestions based on flavours we liked. I had an excellent tropical drink , bursting with flavours. The staff was so kind and clearly worked together to offer us a nice experience. The views are incredible , we had time to take nice photos, and not feel rushed. Solid recommendation. Thank you Kelvin and team , we had a great time.

I loved the Lighthouse Skybar in Hanoi. The cocktails were superbly mixed, and I highly recommend the craft beer – the delicious snacks go perfectly with them. Great view, relaxed atmosphere – absolutely recommended!

Ask for Kelvin to be your server!! He was great and very attentive and made good conversation. The vibes were good. Price tag actually not bad! I had the charcuterie board and a mojito and they were very good. Kelvin also brought me bread and butter which I appreciated. I’ve been to a couple rooftops in the city and this one is the best one I’ve been to. The view is great. 10/10 I would come back!

The music was very pleasing complementing the amazing view of Hanoi. I would highly recommend it for people who like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with a peaceful environment. My waiter Kelvin was very helpful and had an uplifting personality which set the mood for the evening.

Very cozy place with a wide variety of wine. They have cold platters, food and snacks as well. Very tasty bread😁 Quite expensive, but still the quality is nice. The only thing - the staff could be a little friendlier. We smiled and were polite, but men just served and went away. Not a pleasant feeling and honestly no wish to come back.

This is my favorite wine bar in Hanoi. I originally planned to visit one of Asia’s Top 50 Bars, but I was unexpectedly drawn in here. I even forgot how much I paid that night because I was just having such a great time! Even though I came alone, the space was very comfortable, and on Wednesdays they have live jazz performances. Before 7 PM it’s happy hour. The Italian wine was excellent, and the cheese platter was also fantastic. It’s such a pity I didn’t have the chance to visit again.

In Hanoi, I visited a modern wine bar several times where you can enjoy Sant-Emilion at a low price. There is also a live performance on Wednesday evening. Very great feeling. The staff is very friendly. Perhaps because the prices are a bit high, there are no customers so it is quiet.

The setting is attractive, the wine selection is good, though the by the glass is very limited. Food okay. It just wasn’t very friendly. I think they are trying too hard to look posh. You can like good wine and still smile.

This is a good place for dinner if you are already tired of local food. I found it on google and didn’t expect anything. But in fact it appeared a nice place with good food and wine. There is a happy hour 4pm-7pm 30% off for some drinks.

Easily one of the coolest and different cocktail bars I've visited, everything about this place was great, sort of muesuem like with taxidermy animals, the fake dinosaur/ whale thing on the roof was cool, even the menus are Super unique and interesting. Beautifully decorated cocktail bar with pretty tasty drinks! The menu is extensive - you’ll want to come back a few times to try them all. A hidden gem tucked away in one of Hanoi’s Old Quarter alleys, with staff always ready to help at the entrance.

The menu is interesting. I drank six cups here. They use some Asian ingredients and make into signatures and the tasty is mature and premium. Very top 50 in Asia. You can smoke in second floor, heaven. Drink alone is comfortable here.

We went on Monday and thought it should be pretty safe to do a walk in. The place was full but we managed to snag a table eventually. Therefore strongly advised to do a reservation as the place was pretty crowded. Extremely happy with the service as the staffs were really helpful and checking in on us constantly to ensure we got what we need. Beautiful place and excellent cocktails (generous with the alcohol). LOTS of options too (seasonal and classic). Highly recommended!!

Hidden in a small and shabby alley, the bar contrasts a lot with the outside environment and it’s amazing. The bartenders were professional (and handsome, one of them in a suit was like a movie star). Great cocktails and snacks! The Cantonese Fizz was especially unique.

First of all. Amazing bar, the atmosphere is perfect and I assume this does a lot for the popularity. The rating is based on the level they are competing/trying to compete at. As a top 500 bar I'd expect a bit more on 2 aspects: - Their seasonal menu felt not super balanced, not in terms of cocktail variation, and the 2 cocktails we had missed some balance aswell. The ideas were good and the ingredients, which they made themselves, felt qualitative. They'd just need to test-run the cocktails a bit more before putting them on the menu. - the service was great at some points, but also very lacking at others. Moments were the bartenders were jusg chatting and where we were sitting 15-20 minutes with empty glasses of water. So overall I could recommend this bar. But if it should be rated as the best one in Vietnam I really don't know.

This place is the best! I stopped by Unicorn pub right when I arrived in Hanoi because I saw they had the famous Pho cocktail. I ended spending several hours at the bar trying various cocktails. Cường and Dũng at the bar made some killer cocktails! It’s more of an experience when you go here. The process of making the cocktails is a labor of love and the presentation is top tier. Not only were the drinks unreal, but the guys at the bar are extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. I highly recommend sitting at the bar, asking some questions and getting into some great conversation. See you next time!

Could not recommend this place enough! The vibe was wonderful but the drinks were absolutely to die for!!! The presentation was impeccable the flavors were so diverse but worked so well it was truly something special. They have a great happy hour deal on non specialty drinks which my boyfriend happily took advantage of but I simply couldn’t not drink multiple pho cocktails, at that moment the rest of the menu simply did not exist to me it was just my beautifully made pho cocktail and I living blissfully in the moment. Also the bar staff was extremely knowledgeable on every spirit they had in their repertoire, and even let us sample some of the absinthe.

Earth shatteringly unique cocktail, each one a new adventure that will take you places you didn't know existed. For real, these are the best and most unique cocktails in all of Vietnam! The people here are incredible, and the atmosphere is relaxing. This is a company that deserves recognition and your business. Coming from someone who traveled across the world to come here, we will be revisiting!

It’s The best Bar in Hanoi I've been. my best friend-John Phan ordered “Pho Cocktail” and special cocktail to me. It was amazing cocktail.

I was a bit worried the cocktails were all flash and no substance when the smoke gun and torch were whipped out, but this bar is the real deal. The presentation is obscene and the taste is even better. They cater to expats with the decor and menu, which would imply that this is a tourist trap, but the cocktails are complex and delicious. Also a good spot if you are more concerned with the insta story than the drink (you shouldn't be, but if you are that kind of person you can farm likes at this establishment)

It's doable on nights that they don't have live music since the space is limited. Stopped going because there's this mixture of smells from different vape flavors.

My cocktail was lovely but my partner had a local beer as it said on the sign 5-8pm happy hour and then someone came over and said that it ended at 7pm even though the sign stated otherwise. When we got the bill he gave us one for 143000 Dong and we have him 2000000 Dong and when he came back he only gave us 7000 change saying the first one was an error- seemed like a sketchy place and felt scammed a bit

When visiting The Black Sheep - Cocktail Theater, what I cannot forget is the weekly music program at the restaurant. Not only a place to enjoy drinks, this bar is also an art stage, each concert is a unique musical adventure. From singers to DJs, each person brings a unique piece of art, making every night at the bar unique and memorable.

Very nice cocktails - loved the Apricot Fizz. They’ve mastered egg white drinks- perfect foam. Cool live music on the weekends starting at 9pm. But I dinged a star because it’s a bar that doesn’t serve wine or beer (only spirits), and for cost - 10% VAT & the hefty 15% service charge is not included, so add 25% to your bill. FYI menu on Google is not up to date. Here’s the new menu - drinks start at 200k

Black Sheep is a place for lonely souls seeking happiness while immersed in music and wine. The space here like many other bars has chairs at the bar along with a round table below for groups of friends with similar or similar musical tastes and preferences. Whether the music is good or not depends on the DJ, DJ or someone who can grasp the musical preferences of the listeners below and adjust or choose songs that are suitable for the emotions and ages of the crowd. The best DJ I know here is Lupine. He has a very good empathy for the audience.

Went to Hero this last weekend on Saturday. For me it was nothing special. The place was 30-40% full only and mostly near the dance floor area. The bar area seems dull and I got bored within 5 minutes.

One of some best club in Hanoi. No entry fee and you can sit in the bar. Beer&liquour price 80.000-140.000 dong. Dj play local and international songs. Min charge for table +-600.000 dong.

Overall not recommend this place if you find a good club like you have been in Seoul or Tokyo. Here are things you should know in advance if you are not the local. 1. The DJing is pretty much local EDM and weird POP mixed. Basically DJing sucks. 2. You are only allowed to be at the bar or some tables behind front stage ( basically there are two blocks on first floor, front and back) in case you order not bottle of alcohol. You could have a table once ordering at least a bottle of any ( costs around 2.8-4M VND) 3. Even though front stage, too dense. No rough space. 4. Be careful of some Vietnamese girls there who are hired by the club acting like baits for guests to order alcohol. Pretend to be drinking together but they disappear all of sudden without notifying. Since they have done their job. 5. There many groups consisted the local men and women. Do not flirt them. You should be in trouble. Just enjoy music and vibe , dancing and go home. 6. Credit card works ( VIsA, Master, UnionPay, not sure AMEX) 7. Peak time is over 1AM to 3AM. 8. Be careful folks who got too much high by happy balloons. 9. Staffs are not able to speak English 10. Cannot talk with anyone since too loud of music. Fyi I got some problem in send of hearing after that for two days. 11. Do not expect like big club in Seoul or Tokyo. It is relatively small house. 12. Recommend not to bring your bag. No space to keep. 13. Tip 200,000 VND is enough for the staffs. But you would face new staff consistently. Meatless to give them tip in some case. You can give it a try if you are a frontier ;p

Two girls excited to go clubbing in Hanoi for the first time. We were too early (10pm) but we still enjoyed our time here! It was hip hop, Latin, charts, VPop Mix what we both liked. We didn’t pay any entrance fee and just go to a bar and ordered some drinks. Quite cheap/normal prices for foreigners

Definitely a good club..too noisy at times..but the service is excellent..the costing is good..good crowd..mostly locals..but overall has a very good vibe to it..the only drawback is the food..with little to no options..but recommend it for the sheer vibe of it..!!

Had an amazing first visit to this bar in Hanoi! The vibe was super intimate but also really fun, perfect spot for a chill night out. The place is packed with a great selection of spirits, and their cocktail menu is something else. They use Vietnamese herbs and spices in really creative ways, and the presentation? Totally unique. What really made the night, though, was the guy behind the bar super friendly and passionate. They gave us the full tour, explained all the drinks, the place, and made the experience feel really personal. Definitely coming back when I’m next in town! 🥂

Service was great. Cocktails were alright. A bit too smoky and loud music. But it may be their culture of a cocktail bar here in Hànoi. Was expecting a chill jazzy vibe but they had a DJ playing music the entire time. Not a bad place though! Ambience was good. Can give it a try

🇧🇷🇻🇳 This place is super cool and they have two floors. I went to celebrate a friend's birthday and some of the drinks were great. I didn't really like the margarita, the lemon they put in it was sour. But I loved this drink that has a lollipop in it, it was great.

As an avid drinker and night life enjoyer from Melbourne, this place gave a very familiar vibe. Nice aesthetics, kind & friendly staff, quality service and really yummy cocktails. All for about a 3rd of the price you’d pack in Melbourne! Great place for a date or catch up, good tunes, diverse drinks menu - spot on 👌

Genuinely enjoyed this place. The bartenders were all very friendly. The only thing is that they allowed vaping inside so I would avoid this place if you’re sensitive to smoke.

Very nice place to unwind and escape the hustle of the streets. Prices are maybe a bit higher than local standards, but the drinks, view and service are worth it. We had two signature cocktails and were really happy with the unique taste! We got greeted super nicely and even got nuts brought to our table. Would recommend!

Nice bar located at the rooftop of La Sinfonia Del Rey (a lovely hotel full of lovely staffs). The drinks were well made, the bartenders clearly know what they’re doing. A minor issue is mosquitoes eating me alive and the bar didn’t seem to have mosquitoes repellent prepared.

Drinks were pricey for Hanoi, but matched the quality and western-style service, so not really a complaint if that's what your after. Beers at 80k felt fair for the view and breeze off the lake. Best seats are right on the edge facing the water (probably need a reservation if it’s busy), but anywhere’s nice. You enter through the hotel lobby — the concierge will point you in the right direction

I had an amazing time at the bar/restaurant here. I arrived late and only bad 30 min until my spa appointment and the whole team was so lovely and attentive to me making sure I got my drink and salad quickly. They always had a smile on their face when engaging with me, chatted with me and and took pictures of me too! Really really lovely staff! And then the view! Onto Hanoi’s skyline and lake!! And the whole set up design is lovely and romantic as well. Cannot recommend enough!

Came here for some drinks and dinner and it was lovely! The view is great and the atmosphere is quite relaxing! I had the calamari- which I really recommend and the Caesar salad which was quite good as well! More than the food I would recommend getting a view drinks and a table near the good views with some friends!

Went here with a group of newly made friends for a couple drinks and the name “skyline” does not disappoint! We had an amazing 360° view of the entire stretch of Hanoi which is quite impressive to see. The drinks were expensive but that was to be expected and they were delicious. Would definitely come back

A nice cocktail bar. It lacks in ambience late afternoon and would benefit from some kind of happy hour on the cocktails to elevate the experience. Our cocktails were good but not as good as several cocktail bars we’ve visited during our time in Hanoi. Great choice of music- Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack! Passionate and professional staff. I’m sure the atmosphere arrives later in the evening, especially when the Alchemist opens. FYI you have to walk through this bar to get to the Alchemist.

Great cocktails and a cool vibe! Very happy to see a bourbon cocktail on the menu, all the drinks we got were perfectly balanced. We had manhattans (made perfectly), The Pho, and the Irishman in Hanoi - all were delicious.

Although the drinks were great and the staff was awesome, we were the only guests. Only one point of criticism: very dirty toilets.

I absolutely loved this bar – the atmosphere and interior were stylish and unique, creating the perfect setting for a great night out. One of the highlights was the live band, which only performs on Tuesdays and Fridays. Their performance was outstanding and, having visited many bars across Southeast Asia, I can say this was the best live music I’ve experienced. The first singer was especially impressive and even introduced some Korean, which made it extra special. Service was also excellent. A special thanks to the friendly server with glasses, who was attentive and made great cocktail recommendations. Every drink we tried was delicious, and the wasabi cocktail was particularly memorable! If I had to mention one improvement, it would be regarding payment. The bar only accepts cash and adds an additional service charge (first 10%, then 20%), which is fine but would be better if communicated clearly in advance since it’s not so common in many countries today. Also, dealing with Vietnamese currency can sometimes be confusing. For example, when trying to minimize small change, it would help if staff could allow a moment for guests to prepare the right amount. Aside from this minor point, everything else was fantastic. This place truly made for a perfect ending to the day, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

A chill and darker environment which was nice to be able to actually have a conversation and think. The WiFi did not seem to work well though and cell coverage inside was bad. We wanted to use Google translate to help with communication. The things that turned us off a bit were the fact that there was no gin list and we had to rely on what we saw but it seemed they had a lot of empty bottles. It was a bit inconvenient to see one you want to try just to be told you can't. Our gin and tonics were some of the more expensive drinks we've had during our 3 weeks in Vietnam and they would only accept cash which is becoming a common theme in Hanoi. Luckily we got pushed out due to the cigarette smoke after 2 drinks otherwise we wouldn't have had the cash to pay.

I am from Europe, I’ve been visited lot of fancy bar. This one, is realy special. Drinks are awesome. Atmosphere as well. Prices are so low compare to Europe 👌🏼 just 200k Vnd.

Super nice alternative bar with an amazing atmosphere. Anh our bartender was really amazing and a magician with creating the drink. We had a Cinnamon-Ginger-Sour and a Gin-Basile-Smash which tasted amazing. Next to the amazing test of the drinks the presentation was next level. One of the better options in Beer Street. Food didn't look great. Drinks were OK. It's at one end of Beer Street, so you have a little more room. Tables and chairs are more comfortable than most in the street. Service is the same as anywhere else on the street. Not great. Big TV screens, which I presume show footie when it's on. I'm sure it's busy then.

I came here last year and the place was great, this year it is very bad, my Jack Daniels was fake alcohol, we ordered food but the staff kept returning and saying they didn't have what she ordered, finally we cancelled the food order, 5 minutes later they started to bring out my order, starting with stale garlic bread, we told them not to bring anymore food and i begrudgingly paid and left. Very unpleasant visit.

Having dinner is a complete disaster in this bar. The 3 People of us tried to get our food. But in the end one was finished when the other one got his. Took an eternity to finish up. Price is quite expensive even though the Menu seems quite interesting. The Food was horrible. It was a cheap frozen dish which was definitely heat up in the microwave. Drinks are okay though. The service is completely incompetent. No knowledge of English nor anything about their restaurant order. Furniture is kinda broken as well. Every table outside had some problems. All in all a really really bad Pub. Never ever again! Not recommendable!

Quite good experience. This place is perfect for drink, and food. I called chicken curry and french fries. Rice was quite had to eat, bút the chicken were good. French fries were good. If you call something, you'll have to wait for about 15 min. Quite cheap and worth it.

Highly recommend. This pub is super fun you can buy cocktail, shisha, balloon combos for a really good price. The food is good. The staff are really good and friendly, always making sure you're served without being annoying - speak good English. They also come and turn the coal over for you on the shisha.

Angelina Bar at Sofitel Legend Metropole is easily one of the most high-end spots I’ve been to in Hanoi. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt classy yet inviting. The bar is impressively well-stocked, offering an extensive selection that makes choosing a drink an experience in itself. We happened to visit during their happy hour promotion — buy one, get one free for beers — which was a real treat. Despite a sudden power cut caused by a thunderstorm, the staff handled the situation gracefully and ensured we remained comfortable throughout. Their professionalism and calmness really stood out. Cocktail hour also came with some delightful snacks, including vegetarian options. The cashew nut bites in particular were absolutely delicious and surprisingly memorable. Overall, the mix of great service, excellent drinks, and refined atmosphere made this visit a true highlight of my time in Hanoi.

This is an honest review from an F&B professional and I am cannot stand these kind service as well as products. Regardless you guys got an amazing set up but please. What a disgrace to all hospo worker. Me and my Gf had a glass of pinot grigio and a side car cocktails which are horrific. The bottle of wine got no date around the bottle that made me feel like i have had a amazing vinegar for my salad then my ugliest side car came unbalanced which the sourness to the moon and not even coming back. Ive told the waitor whose he said he just a waiter and dont know much ab these drinks made me about to explode. Guys do your homework, know your products. He offered us a drink as an apology but thats too late, he could have ask our feedback a while ago not after paid. The manager stood there like he was so over the night. Neither any approachment nor opening the door for guests while leaving or even saying goodbye. Dont be mad when you are reading this because you guys can do much better at your job.

Given all the great reviews I had read on Angelina, I was thrilled to organise a family's birthday celebration there. What a disappointment ! From 9:30 PM, the smoke from the bar permeated the upstairs dining area, creating an unacceptable environment for patrons, particularly for children. We were given no prior warning of this situation although we had a reservation. Given the caliber of the restaurant and the very high cost of the meal compared to Hanoian standards, we have been clearly dismayed by the lack of respect shown to diners. We expected a clean-air environment conducive to a family meal, which they failed to provide, and this spoiled the whole experience. So, unless they change this situation or establish clear separations between the bar and the dining zone, this will be the last time we come to this restaurant.

Wonderful atmosphere here, tasteful speakeasy that balances classy and informal perfectly. The guys there do some great bartending, very friendly. They even allow smoking indoors. I absolutely loved the vibe, decor, music and everything! Would come back here 100% if I ever end up in Hanoi again.

Such a beautiful speakeasy! Very fun to discover the secret entrance, then you enter a gorgeous 20s style bar with lovely and talented staff, great music and genius cocktails!! Highly recommend the Acrobatics and the Illusionist cocktails! Right across from the train street so you can see the train go past from the balcony. Definitely worth a visit!

You walk around looking for this place on Google maps and don't see anything but a shop that looks like a book store. You're confused. You poke around and find a secret door of sorts. You have to experience it so I won't spoil it for you. Go in for some of the most amazing cocktails and the coziest vibe from such an unexpected place. The staff is amazing and knows their drinks. Ask for their suggestions and be sure to try their signature cocktails. You will not regret it. All in all a fabulous experience.

Very very good cocktails. This another tiktok spot, but it isn’t overrated at all. Really great service, good value, and expertly crafted cocktails. We had 4 here, and these are some of the best we’ve had in Vietnam . Highly recommend.

We had a very bad experience 😔. The food was really not good — maybe it was just an off day, but it was disappointing. We wouldn’t go there again. On the positive side, the atmosphere is great and the view is amazing.

Everything about this rooftop bar is superb compared to the rest around this area. Susan the morning supervisor was on point every day for us while we are there for five days. Be cause of her our breakfast were the highlight of our morning.

Searched for rooftop bars, and this one did not disappoint. I was surprised at how good the food was. I had an exceptional meal...the best rice paper spring rolls I've ever had-they're called summer rolls on the menu. The dipping sauce alone was worth the price of admission. Fresh, full of flavors, and delicious! Mushroom soup next, very good, then the pork with noodles, which was fantastic. Some fried bananas for dessert after two Negronis? Tuck me into bed happy lol

Amazing bar in west lake area, kinda hidden locations and truly speakeasy bar. It be like a hidden gem you must try in Hanoi. The drinks are good, the staff are very helpful with good knowledge about their signature and alcohol stuff. A great place for food and drinks! The atmosphere was excellent, we sat in comfy chairs with a low table and our server was very nice. We ordered the social club burger, the green bean salad, and tofu chips, and for dessert we had the chocolate orange cake and sticky date pudding. I wish I had taken a picture of our entrees because everything was so good, especially the salad, which I wish I could have again. I highly recommend!

We quite like this place. A small cafe-type eatery with chill vibes to laze or meet up with friends or, just to rest the aching legs after a long walk. Ambience is really nice with retro decor n furnishings. Staff could speak good English. Food was not too bad as well. We ordered their avocado toast and it turned out pretty neat! Came here and got some Banh Mi with some friends. Really tasty meal, more on the expensive side but was worth it. Really cool interior design and nice vibes. I believe they do live music in the week which would be nice. Plenty of seating downstairs more available upstairs. They ask you to fill out a little review when you pay for your food/drinks which was fine.

Fancied something a little different from the local cuisine and it has an interesting menu. Catered very well for vegetarians (3 in our party of 8) Service was prompt and accurate. Great to have read-back by wait staff. I had the Goulash, Vegetable Tempura and the best chips (they call french fries but they were proper chips). 2 of 3 vegetarians demolised their dishes (cherry tomato spaghetti, vegan mushroom pasta). Pineapple Ginger - Dark Rum, pineapple juice and Ginger (syrup?) Recommend booking for large group. Has open air top floor, mid level enclosed air-conditioning and a room suitable for large group and private.

Very cool place to hang out for a cocktail or two, which is what we did. The mulberry smoked rum cocktail was like sweet bbq while the “pho” was a gin based cocktail with lime and chilli and flavours of pho. They had a cherry ripe dessert ( but were sold out ) and palova which looked great. They also have a lot of vegan choices, though we didn’t try any food. 21Gram is a popular bar so you have to book ahead of time to avoid disappointment at the door. They have a DJ playing music, it’s not too loud so you still can have conversations and there is no dance floor. The drinks are slightly pricy, the cocktails are around 200-300k but I think they are a little bit more if you want custom ones. The bartenders spoke English and were very entertaining. One of the better bars in the area. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for a drink with a good vibe.

It is a dark but very active place. If you want to find a place to get drunk easily, I don't recommend being here. But it is not bad for enjoying some simple event.

Shots here have a weird taste. I cannot describe it, but they are not good, so don’t waste your money on that. Cocktails are much better. However, the music and atmosphere are so great that they can sway you around on your own feet.

Visited this bar last weekend and was deeply disappointed. The service was excruciatingly slow and the organization seemed chaotic. To top it off, they don’t accept credit cards, which was highly inconvenient. The final bill was much higher than what we ordered. Not recommended Soyez honnête avec les touristes :).

Probably the most interesting cocktail bar in all of Hanoi. I love the concept in the layout. From the moment you walk in your transported into another world. The centerpiece and the large fish that hang over the bar is definitely interesting. It feels like it’s part immersive, art experience, and part cocktail bar. Lots of the drinks are pre-batched so it may take away from the visual concept that you’re used to add an ordinary cocktail bar. But all the drinks are consistent and precisely dozed out. I would highly recommend to come to check this place out if you’re looking to have a wonderful cocktail in Hanoi. The quality of service was great, and the bartenders are very precise when it comes to making their drinks. It feels more like they’re making art instead of just making a beverage.

Use Bar is such a fun, chill place to grab drinks in Hanoi. The bartenders are super friendly and make you feel right at home — they’ll even customize drinks if you ask. The cocktails are well-made, reasonably priced, and come with great music and a cozy vibe. It’s not too loud, so you can actually have a conversation, but still lively enough to feel the city’s energy. Perfect place to start or end a night out in the Old Quarter. Definitely recommend if you want good drinks and a welcoming crowd.

Summit Bar on the 20th floor of Pan Pacific offers an amazing view of Hanoi, especially toward Thanh nien Street. The space is cozy and perfect for dates. Staff are very professional and helpful, even assisting with changing to an outdoor table. The menu focuses on cocktails with limited non-alcoholic options, and the drinks are average. Most people come here for the stunning view rather than the drinks.

WARNING!! Food poisoning!! I had to update my review. My friend had food poisoning after eating here. He ate the soft shell crab and I didn’t, immediately after eating, he said it didn’t smell right. That night, he started experiencing food poisoning symptoms and having fever. I got him antibiotics and a bunch of other medicine the next morning to help him deal w the symptoms. He had a flight from Hanoi to Boston the night after eating at this place and thankfully the medicines worked. Worst experience ever. Avoid this place especially the food. I used to come here pretty frequently whenever I am in Hanoi but will never go here ever again!! Original review below: Great drinks and amazing view. However, the food was terrible to say the least. We ordered 3 dishes which came after 45 mins of waiting (we were told the food was going to come after 20 mins). Every single item we were served were cold, dry, hard, overcooked, and they tasted like they had been sitting there for a few hours. I would not recommend ordering food here, for such price, the food should at least be edible. We had to tell the staff to reheat the soft shell crabs (which was soggy and cold), and the yakitori (meat skewers which was super dry and hard) and even after heating, it did not improve. Please do not serve food to customers if you can’t make it right.

Good food, nice drink, great view. But I gave 4 star only because of unprofessional staffs. There was only a man I felt professional, an offer and introduce the suitable food to order otherwise we may get trouble in food taste. Thank you. But I wish the staffs should have not asked guest to take a photo of their credit cards. Because who could be respond for the guest information if someone else saw that picture 🥲 the way talked to guest should be more formal as well.

Enjoy weekend here and love the atmosphere a lot! It’s airy and fresh with full landscape of West lake at the 20th floor. It will be windy or cold a little bit so you can ask the staff to get fireplace or bring the coat with you. Food are delicious and good service!

Hands-down, my FAVORITE cocktail in all of Hanoi. I went to about 12 different cocktail bars in the four days that I was there. This is hands-down, my favorite. It was tucked away in a small quaint street. The bartenders are super knowledgeable and friendly. The pho cocktail is a signature cocktail. It’s the quintessential introduction to savory cocktails. It was amazing. You get all the highlighted flavors that you would and your typical for dish. But in a savory cocktail. It was absolute perfection and the execution on which they took was amazing. The presentation was also amazing. If you’re ever in Hanoi, this would probably be the first cocktail bar I would go to and continue visiting over and over again

We had sooo much fun at Nê Boong-ke Bar! I loved the cozy, intimate atmosphere. it’s the perfect spot to pause for a while, enjoy some cocktails, and have a good chat with friends. The cocktails were super creative, packed with unique Vietnamese ingredients that make every drink special. Don’t miss the Phở Cocktail, it’s a must-try and totally worth it! The bartenders are seriously talented and make the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots in the area!

This bar is such a great vibe with truly amazing cocktails made by really talented bar staff. The pho cocktail is very iconic and extremely tasty! They also have a really great range of spirits and liqueurs from around the world. Loved coming here and can’t wait to come back one day!

Came for the Pho cocktail and it didn’t disappoint. Sounds like a gimmick - it really isn’t. A genuinely inspired and creative cocktail as was the Hanoi Autumn. Really cool, cozy speakeasy inside with great tunes playing (but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation). Really friendly and accomodating staff as well

We almost ran out of time to visit but so glad we squeezed in 1 round prior to a posh dinner booking. You have to come here and order the Pho cocktail. This is the most grand and interesting cocktail we have seen being made. A cocktail that literally is made with a waterfall of fire to infuse the spices. While it is a show to watch it being made you can taste the difference. Absolutely wonderful - a true savoury cocktail with beautifully balanced flavours. The Canh Chua was also delicious- tomato, fish sauce, chilli salt - another complex and interesting but balanced drink.

The location was great right in the middle of famous pedestrian Beer Street. We were a group of 25 friends. We were welcomed warmly. We preferred to sit on absolutely top floor under sky. It was cloudy but it did not rain. We ordered a lot of drinks and snacks, which I think the staff could not handle. They took a lot of time to serve our order after so many reminders. The service was very slow. Actually this place deserves five stars but for service. Their Assistant manager M/s Dnoc apologized for the inconvenience. She was very helpful and tried her best to speed up the service. As far as the ambiance was concerned, it was five star. The view from top was amazing. One could see almost major part of Hanoi. Ideal for couples for a romantic evening.

As hotel guests we got buy 1 get 1 free discounts for the cocktails. We were served by Dai and he was very helpful with the recommendations and also was genuinely caring (you can see how friendly he is from how many reviews he has!). We personally liked the Hanoi Mule the most. One downside is that there’s no fan so it gets a bit hot but the drinks are very cold and make up for it. The view is also great.

No food but good cocktails. i had the Rooster and funny but succinct in design it were. Staff are Vietnamese friendly with big Viet smiles. Night time view is awesome. Daytime i assume may be just a view of a bustling Asian city.

Our visit was perfect, Dai is amazing and very attentive. The food was excellent- we had the beef pho and avocado salad and it was all fresh with excellent service. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful view of Old Quarter Hanoi.

The place is very good to do your homework and job. The food is also good! I tried their newest food from the menu; Chicken teriyaki. The chicken is delicious, tender, and juicy!!! The rice was too sticky to my liking but overall it was delicious and affordable. The staff also were SOOOOO nice!!!

Had a great experience at Xofa. After spending a few days cafe hopping in Hanoi, I would say that Xofa has a more cosmopolitan, classy vibe. It seems to cater to a more worldly crowd in expats and travelers, rather than local students and shutterbugs. This entire area is in a walking only area. (which means motorbikes also drive in, in Hanoi) Can be quite hard to spot the frontage of this cafe. Initially missed it entirely, very nearly left without entering, very glad we didn't miss it. While cafe photo-worthiness was not in any way neglected, the furnishings do not appear to be created solely for that purpose, the way it is in many Hanoi cafes, but seem functional as well. Place has a cozy, relaxing vibe, inviting customers to lean back, chill out, lounge around. We were the first customers seated at top floor. Perfect for a rainy day, quiet and serene. The cafe serves both Vietnamese and European menu. Each item on the menu was consistently high quality. (or perhaps just suited Singapore tastes more) We had Croissant with Poached Egg, Beef Burger, Oolong Tea with fresh mango, bubble and salted foam, a curious Hot Chocolate, and a fragrant hot Long Black. Service staff was very attentive, patient, helpful and adequately conversant in English. Helped us took couple photos during and after our meal. We also enjoyed the bookshelves for travelers to exchange books, as well as the section on seedlings posted with little hopes and dreams.

The atmosphere here is wonderful and cosy, the drinks are delicious and the food is fantastic. The price point is maybe a bit higher than some others but you know you're getting good food and drink from the Cafe. The bathroom is also very well setup and has some small but sometimes necessary items (combs, que tips, pads etc.) which is such a nice and thoughtful touch. We got beef nachos and a club sandwich, both of which were a great serving size and tasted awesome 👌🏼 I recommend the salted chocolate drink, if you're a sweet tooth like myself.

Atmosphere is good, there are indoor seat and outdoor seat. I choose to seat indoor because weather a bit hot and humid. There are various types of food and drinks that can choose. I choose mango matcha with cheese foem, one black forest with fresh orange cake and fruit festival salad with grilled chicken. The taste was good. I do recommended in you visit Hanoi, You should come and chilling here. the restaurant is next to Puku Cafe. and close to railway.

Great atmosphere - vibes of university hangout with old style timber tables and books on shelves inviting you spend a couple of hours over snacks and a book. Within minutes I was looking around for shared boardgames. None but there probably should be. The nachos were great, the beer could have been colder but I'm Australian! If I lived in Hanoi this would be my hangout cafe.

TBH, the coffee here wasn’t very special to me. But I really appreciate that they use eco-friendly materials for the straw, the cup holder and some other stuff 🌱 It’s also one of the few cafés I found that’s open 24 hours, so I could grab a drink at 5 AM while waiting for my bus. That alone makes it worth a visit. And their seats were comfy

We had a sunset beer – using the voucher as part of our stay. And with so much fantastic food offerings nearby we did not get chance to taste (& review) the food here. (Breakfast in the hotel below though is very good). But the staff of Sky Bar are great – super friendly always ready to reposition a fan to help cool guests in the heat of the evening. One suggestion… as all the drinks and glasses or bottles are super cold, just add some branded Aira Sky Bar paper or card drink coasters. This will stop the dripping if water on guests knees 😊. But if you wants chill place at the end of a hot Hanoi day, above the ebb and flow if the traffic hit the Sky Bar.

We came here for a quick happy hour before dinner. Drinks were good, great views of Hanoi and the staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly welcoming!! Although we didn’t stay for the evening, the nighttime ambiance seemed like it would be amazing.

Was empty indoors when we reached but there’s some people at the roof top. Nice view overlooking the church, but no air conditioning and quite humid. Tried their pandas and coconut gin, interesting spin, but would prefer they have more fruits based gins though. Service was excellent. Prices are also reasonable, definitely recommend a trip here. But you have to walk up a few flights of stairs at the back of a shop!

You can call this kind of spot hidden gem in a big city. Based on the top 4 & 5th floors of usual old quarter building. The entrance through the shop. Amazing Gin Bar It was absolutely stunning experience They serve Gin on the real Gin Glass, with its uniqe natural ingredient pieces that mixes perfectly with the Gin. Also you can see the famous St Josephs Cathedral on the 4th floor rooftop sits. This places is usually packed with People, so i suggest going early.

This is quite a hidden place nested on the 3rd and 4th floor of an old building. The entry is through a cloths shop, you walk past the patrons of the shop and the cloths and take the stairs to the 3rd floor. On the ground floor you are greeted by a happy go lucky funny guard who will help with the parking and the way to go up. Suggested place to sit is on the roof top bar. It has some great views. The drinks menu is quite extensive. There are gins listed by flavor/origin. Apart from that they also have classic cocktails and beers. The bartenders know their gin and can suggest some good drinks. The tasting flights are great and you get to sample different gins with variius different infutions/herbs/spices.

This experience was amazing! The best bar I'd gone to in Asia. At the top it has a awesome view of the cathedral and cosy little nooks for you. Down stairs is a bit more like a little speak easy bar with a different but equally nice vibe. The drinks there were well priced for what they were with some cheaper and more expensive options depending on your taste. Staff were awesome and accommodating.

I like many things about this place. 1. I love the view of the cathedral at night especially during December season. The lights are very visible. It's nice to gaze at them while sipping your gin. 2. The drinks are not expensive and they are very good. 3. The furnitures here and the interior design of the place is very creative. I noticed how beautiful this table here in the photo.

What a fun and surprising cocktail bar in Hanoi. Despite our usual preference to explore - we came back twice within a couple of nights. Fun and up scale atmpapgete, great drinks. The Kimchi gin cocktail is one of.thr most unique cocktails that we've tried. Oh, and be careful of the spicey cocktail on the menu - spicey doesn't begin to describe it!

Consistently friendly, swift service; delicious, immaculate drinks. Phi, the bartender, is phenomenal — he has two drinks that he created, “Pho” and “Green Rice”. Absolutely incredible, both of them. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, it is worth a trip to this bar for the service and drinks!

Venue is nicely decorated, aiming towards an elegant, distinguished vibe, but certain things like promo material like Jameson card advertising shots and bottles, or a lit 1664 sign kinda break the atmosphere. Service is vey kind and attentive, 5 stars!! I ordered an amaretto sour and it came without foam 😭 I didn’t mention anything regarding the egg white so my expectation is to serve it traditionally, with a finger of egg foam, which wasn’t there. So a bit upsetting on that regard. Also, when they were preparing the cocktail, they took a bottle of Bacardi and poured some of it. The drink shouldn’t include rum, so I asked, and they told me that’s where they keep the syrup. Not a good idea as 1) it’s confusing and 2) doesn’t give a good image. Cocktail making is and should be visible to the customer, so every detail matters.

Would not recommend. My partner and I came here for happy hour on a Friday night for buy one get one and we were very disappointed. The deal is per person, so we were unable to only have one cocktail each, which is something that should have been explained prior as other customers in the bar were also unaware and they got upset by the fact. The drink quality was not up to the standard for the price, I would definitely not come here during full-priced cocktails, and if I had I would have been even more disappointed. The bar was in the basement of a nice hotel, although the bar itself was poorly made with holes in the ceiling and a disgusting bathroom. And on top of all of this, the staff members spent more time on their phones than helping or checking on customers.

Courteous service and friendly staffs. The staffs always took care for our table and served fastly when we needed a help. The live music was so good and we enjoyed so much! There is a courtyard so you can enjoy the fresh air and vibe here. It has got the snowing machine and make the snow at 9:00 p.m so it’s quite interesting to enjoy it with your friends.

Good lasagna and bolognese pasta. I like the atmosphere and music here. Wanted to stay outside but it was raining 🥲 the 4 cheese pizza tastes a bit strange for me but still okay (I prefer fluffy crust and only cheese on there). This place is quite perfect to chill on the weekend in general 😛

We really enjoyed our fine dining here. Food and wine all lovely and well cooked. We especially loved the squid dish and the yummy chocolate lava cake. Only downside was they didn’t serve tea or coffee after the meal which is quite a disappointment as we had to leave and go to another cafe just for a meal end drink!

I enjoyed this place so much I came in two nights in a row while in Hanoi last month. Saturday there was a band and the place had a good number of people, Sunday was slow and the perfect place to spend my last night in Vietnam. The bartenders are alchemists, I asked for a drink with a specific spirit and the bartender asked me if I wanted to try something different. He didn't use a recipe (I later asked) and he made one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time by intuition. Perfectly balanced, spirit forward absinthe cocktail off the top of his head. The owner was there sitting at the bar, very nice guy. Highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle a few blocks away and enjoy an amazing drink and good vibes with nice people.

It's a vibe! This venue has some of the best cocktails I've enjoyed in Vietnam. If you are after a swanky bar without any of the pretentiousness and a very professional but friendly staff, then definitely visit this place. The mixologists are top notch and certainly produce some unique cocktails with your preferences taken into consideration. What's even more appealing is the 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails which is a different menu but still top notch with no compromise in quality at all. The happy hour cocktail was priced at VND200K at the time of writing this review. They also have live music on Sundays.

Cozy little Korean eatery with a signature stainless steel kitchen that gives off strong Korean vibes. Seating is quite close to the kitchen, so it can get a bit hot during busy hours. That said, the food is delicious and authentic, staff are friendly and quick, and the place is clean and tidy. It fills up fast, especially on weekends, so it’s best to reserve ahead. Definitely worth a try!

The pho cocktail tastes great! I wasn’t sure about it at first but I gave it a try and it was worth it. The staff are really attentive and the bar itself is quirky.

We stumbled upon this place completely by chance coz it was close to our hotel and we noticed ‘speakeasy’ and the reviews were great. The place is just as expected. Very nice ambience. And the drinks are just superb. I loved how the bar tender (forgot his name) and the other guy who took our order were so involved in the entire process. Checking our preferences before recommending, even creating something for us entirely different from the menu. Totally loved the vibe and the drinks here. Highly recommend going here if you are into cocktails and love speakeasy bars. PS: the in-house Iguana is the coolest one here!

Easily one of the best places I’ve visited in Hanoi. I ordered the local Vietnamese infused shots and it was very interesting to taste each one. Their signature cocktail was also great—strong alcohol but still very much enjoyable. The bartender was very nice and informative too! Would definitely go back here someday.

This speak easy bar is well worth a visit. It is located up a flight of stairs and the vibe is great. With the option of sitting close to the bar, in lounge seating or up on bar tables looking out of the first floor window at the action on the street below. Their signature cocktails are delicious and accompanied by a small snack pairing. They also serve whisky in proper whisky glasses. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Down an alley and up the stairs - the best kind of place. The signature cocktails are paired with small bite sized nibbles to form a more compete flavour. Really well done. I’ve had a lot of cocktails over the years and I was surprised and delighted by the flavours here. Worth a visit.

My fav speakeasy in Hanoi!!! To get there, you walk through a tiny dark alley deep inside the Old Quarter. Inside, you’ll find smooth R&B, cozy sofa, and warm lighting. Just perfect for catching up with friends or chatting with the bartenders and other guests. Everyone is super friendly and has the same vibe somehow!!! I tried Hanoi Traffic Jam, which is inspired by the frustration of Hanoi’s traffic, but just like real traffic, the road eventually clears, leaving a sweet aftertaste 😊 Super creative! I also had a tasting set of traditional Vietnamese spirits served in ceramic cups. The staff took the time to explain everything. It really felt like a guided journey. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Been here twice for "one cocktail" and found it near impossible to leave both times. Menu features a variety of remastered classics and unique creations with enticing flavor profiles - most of which contain house infused/clarified regional ingredients. Every drink was delicious, but their iteration of 'mango sticky rice' has left me with the strongest lasting impression.. Dark, rich vibes characterize the atmosphere and the service is professional.

Incredible cocktails served from this little bar. We were going to explore the area more but ended up staying for 3 rounds of drinks as we liked it so much. Definitely recommend the Apple Pie cocktail.

Cute spot for cocktails! Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. I’ve been twice and both times the drinks I’ve had were really yummy. The menu is full of interesting cocktails but they do classic ones if you ask for them too! Amaretto sours are my absolute favourite and the ones I’ve had here have been top notch :) Minor issue of having to wait pretty long for our drinks but still had a lovely time!

I went here with my Scottish friend on a weekend. There a lot of foreigners gathering around. The drinks were pretty affordable compared to bigger fancier cocktail bars. It was so crowded we had to wait a while and served ourselves. The drinks were ok ok. There's no view over the lake or anything. Too narrow road with many cars passing by. if you want casual street style cocktails, this is for you.

Very cool ambiance and delicious cocktails! My friend and I sat at the bar and it was really great. I got a Moscow mule and she got a Pina colada- both were delicious & refreshing. Would recommend this for a cute date night or fun girls night! Will definitely be back soon!

Very nice, cozy place, drinks are good, mixset of DJ is good too 👍 But it will be crowded at 9-10pm, so if you want to visit here at that time you have to booking to get a good position.

Pros: nice decor, decorative cocktail presentation (e.g., We got a parrot shaped mug for a rum-based cocktail), and friendly and knowledgable staff. Cons: quality instability (We ordered 3 cocktails: one is mediocre, another has a dominating flavor of lime juice and the last one is well-mixed but overpriced), loud cheesy pop music that evokes a “nightclub-for-teenagers” feel, and no free water. All and all, even though the drink list is potential, we will not come back to this place because the experience is not authentic. Too much attention has been paid to decoration and presentation instead of drink quality and cocktail experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to cocktail enthusiasts.

Good spot for some late night, well crafted cocktails.

I've just been here once with my friend. There was a DJ mixing upbeat tracks. It's kinda a combination of romance and hype, when you have dark space with candles and upbeat music. My friend and I chose Pina Colada and Moscow Mule, both were good, suitable for one that is not a good drinker to have some sweet alcohol. 4 stars is for the too-polite waiter who just gave us the menu and left without any suggestions or a proper talk. Maybe I just expected more than just a standardized polite waiter. Anyways this bar is good, I will recommend 👌

The vibe is cozy, staff are accommodating. They play chill, good music. The place is clean, with comfortable seats, and not too crowded. The highlight is their drinks, they’re curated well and carefully made (you can watch the bartender make the drinks in front of you) However, they said that if you review them on Google they will give 10% discount, I showed them this review but still did not give us the discount. Nevertheless, we had a great time, we stayed until closing.

Fantastic cocktail bar, every drink was very unique, layered and interesting, and they update their menu every year to keep it fresh and interesting. We were served by Long who was very enthusiastic and helpful in picking cocktails. The interior is pretty cool, not too loud, would be great for a date night

Really cool place to enjoy some cocktails. The interior is great, music is relaxing, the Barkeeper really nice, knowledgeable and open. And propably most important: the cocktails taste great. So don't be afraid to go through the narrow back alley and enjoy some combinations you never knew taste so good

A small and beautiful kind of hidden bar. We tried a few cocktails, all of them lovely balance. The waitress was very friendly and offered a corn snack which was addictive. The bartenders are real mixologist. We will definitely come back.

It's a good pub with ample space for dancing on the floor with good light & sound to complement. Moreover it offers good Indian snacks & food as well

There is no V or I in their VIP table service. Nothing Very Important about their VIP service. Has great lighting and video, nice sofas, but the quality and service are rubbish. The first two bottles on the menu I ordered they were out of, no mixers except Coke, sprite, orange juice. NOTHING ELSE.. The other bottles they offered were no name or ridiculous expensive names. They listed fruit plates and such but had none to offer, how do you try to cater to VIP Bottle service without any services to offer? Like proper bar mixers. The items you offer on the menu at least. The vibe and the service are so bad, everyone left the club around midnight.

Best place in Hanoi!

This bar was one of the highlights of my very short trip to Hanoi. My friend introduced me to Room 210 and I had so much fun there, especially with Miguel’s company and candor. As someone who enjoys his slew of bespoke drinks, he served me one of the best drinks I’ve had here, catering excellently to my preference and taste. The mood is further elevated by the cosy but fun atmosphere of the bar, enhanced by the other fun staff who graced me with their presence. I think it’s safe to say that if I chose to visit this bar twice when I only had two full days, this is a great place to be to enlighten any night in Hanoi. Thank you!

A hidden gem for bespoke cocktails in Hanoi! This place is a bit tricky to find since it's located on the second floor of a small pizzeria. However, as soon as I entered the cocktail bar, I was immediately impressed by the ambiance: great vibe, good music, a well-designed bar with perfect lighting, and a clean, cozy atmosphere, even though the space is a bit small. We were warmly welcomed by bartender Dat, who was very polite and took the time to discuss our cocktail preferences with us. The cocktails were unique and fantastic! They even offered us a happy hour shot so everyone could cheer together. Dat walked us downstairs when we left, which was a nice touch. Excellent cocktails, atmosphere, and staff. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back soon to explore more of their cocktails!

Travelled to Hanoi recently and stayed at the Five Residence, was pleased to find a bar less than 5 mins walk away that opens late. The bar is cozy and beautiful with bartenders that can speak English. I ordered a cocktail simply by telling them I wanted a gin base and something sweet. I’m amazed at how they made a cocktail that suited me perfectly. It says they close at 2am but they open till way past 2am as long as there are guests. Excellent service, great drinks, immaculate vibes.

Cool place, nothing special. Wouldn't go out of my way to find it. Music was nice and the service was quick. The bar is divided into two parts: loud music and lower volume which is a nice touch if you find someone you like and want to go somewhere a bit quieter ;)
