When you find yourself in Hanoi, a visit to Buffet Chef Dzung is an absolute must for any seafood enthusiast. This vibrant restaurant offers an impressive array of fresh seafood, complemented by a selection of appetizers, main courses, and delectable desserts. What sets Chef Dzung apart is its unwavering commitment to quality; the seafood served here comes from trusted sources with transparent origins, ensuring that every bite bursts with freshness.
Nice place for partyyyy, so many food you can pick whatever you wantttt. But don't pick too much lol lol. But bad thing is too manyyyy people but employ so nice good manager and have a vip room

Came here for lunch on Sunday with my wife. It is a great place for seafoodaholic. Note that price on weekend shall be higher than normal days and ice cream is adding fee, not free. The restaurant has a varieties of seafood, Vietnamese food, and great BBQ. Lots of different kind of meats and seafood for BBQ. Friendly Services and reasonable price compare to other all you can eat nearby. Food are good and constantly refill everything. Love the long nose clams and other kind of snails. Salmon and oyster are fresh, and lots of different baked clams. Eat until you drop. Highly recommended and needed to try out
Thanh T — Google review
Not on par with my expectations, unfortunately. Having tried hundreds of buffet restaurants in South East Asia, I can say the comparison hurts a bit and the ratio price/food/service is barely average for this place. Service, especially, is mediocre (except one or two staff, but they can't make it for all the other ones who are as unprofessional as they are rude and unfriendly). The place was extremely noisy as well, with children running everywhere between tables and plates. All in all, it was just an 'average' experience, I wouldn't recommend the place and wouldn't want to go back.
N P — Google review
A huge restaurant with a lot of food. I like Vietnamese traditional sweets and hotpot. Around $35 Australian dollars PP. It was reasonable price.
Rosie — Google review
Typical buffet restaurant in Hanoi. Not as different as the usual buffet service but the food offered were significantly appetising and fresh. Ordering live seafood were superfluous since the buffet should justify your hunger. No options for unlimited drinks. Overall experience was great but not that remarkable.
Sir G — Google review
Amsing free flow. Seafood. Alive blue crab and. Some. Live. Prawn
Henry W — Google review
Very confusing restaurant. First they demanded for a phone number to enter. The price kept changing. The only English speaking staff member kept coming back saying the price is higher and higher. You can't even get water without adding a drink bar. Weirded out and started feeling like a scam so I asked if we could just pay for the tiny bit of salad we had eaten ( food wasn't even out on the buffet at 18:00) and the manager let us leave without paying. It looked good but was too confusing.

Restaurant
Bay Seafood Buffet Hồ Gươm - 14 Tông Đản is a standout restaurant located on a bustling street in Hanoi, resembling a small castle with its impressive exterior and inviting interior. The place offers an extensive menu featuring nearly 200 dishes from various regions of the world, ranging from modern European cuisine to traditional Asian delicacies.
Vibe: Yo, this spot is packed and buzzing, perfect for seafood lovers who wanna eat like a king without leaving the Old Quarter. Food: Buffet game strong — crabs, shrimp, clams, squid, and even fish you can barely pronounce. Everything fresh, and you can pile that plate as high as your stomach can handle. Seating: Big hall, lots of tables. Weekends get wild, so come early if you don’t wanna fight for a spot. Atmosphere: Loud, lively, and full of energy. People laughing, servers hustling — it’s like a seafood party the whole time. Bottom line: If you in Hanoi and your stomach screaming for seafood, Bay Seafood Buffet got you. Eat, repeat, leave happy and maybe a little stuffed — no regrets, bro.
Kawhi L — Google review
Good location in center! Various kinds of seafoods, bbq and dessert. BBQ foods are not hot enough, staffs are hard to find to support. Suitable for family reunion, company party, and birthday celebration or anniversary. The space is well equipped and spacious! The beverage are not included in the buffet price, order separately with the buffet. Foods are fine, not too special
Nhung B — Google review
Great variety of food choices. The seafood were mostly good, particularly enjoyed the crab and prawns. Desserts were a disaster but hey I’m not here for the desserts. The staff Le Cuu Cuong’s service were excellent. He’s attentive and quick to clear up plates with new replacements. Overall a good experience.
G — Google review
Price is fair but the food quality is not up to standard. If you want unlimited seafood, just come.
Hades W — Google review
Great value! "Fresh River Deafood", Not "Seafood Food", a bit crowd and noisy but expected. Recommended for seafood lover, but not for gathering. Important!!! No Drinks included Has to order and pay separately!
PUI L — Google review
Famous buffet. Reasonable price 428kVND/adult exclude drinks. A lot of choices. Small-Medium size of crab and mantis as price. Many types of shellfish. No time limit. Thai seafood dipping sauce is available.
Kriengchai V — Google review
Very big/ spacious/nice place, but way way too noisy... Consist of 2 levels of seating... Go in thru the main door then up the lift to the dinning area... Seafoods/ sushi/ fresh oysters/ cooked foods/ desserts etc etc (SGD 25) really really good price n comes with hotpot too... Recommend if u need seafood buffet, if not Hanoi has street foods that are better to try ...
KiM L — Google review
Seafood buffet like no other in Hanoi. Crab, clams, Oysters, snails, prawns, California rolls, raw and cooked. Hotpot also. Huge selection of items for kids too. Pizza, chicken, steak. Reasonable price for families. Must try

The restaurant boasts a spacious and modern setting and prides itself on its team of dedicated chefs who meticulously prepare each dish. From Vietnamese-style delicacies to Korean BBQ and Thai hotpot dishes, the buffet presents a diverse array of options inspired by cuisines from Asia to Europe.
Nice buffet . Lots of seafood shells, crab, prawns, sea urchin, cheese &baked oyster only. Did not have any fresh ones. The shells are overcook . You chew and chew like rubber but i guess it's buffet I like the Vietnamese noodle island which also have the rolls and banh xeo.Very authentic . Can't resist freshly made ordered freshly made noodles There's always the Japanese sushi & section sashimi in the buffet line up. The dessert well presented with always the sweets and the ice cream and cakes I had fun making my bubble tea. Cash or local debit /credit card only for now.

If you decide to have a meal here I suggest you should be a teenager or love being in the middle of a noisy atmosphere. Very crowded and noisy, not good for family or business partner. They have many things to eat but nothing can meet up with a restaurant's standard.
Hien N — Google review
I've had lunch in this restaurant for 5 times or so. For the first and second time, I felt like I'm in heaven because I'M CRAZY ABOUT SEAFOOD!! There are lots of dishes here and seafood is fresh (shrimps still jump up and down in plate). Lots of staff but lots of customers also. It's always crowded everytime! People everywhere! So noisy that we even can't hear what each other was talking. If you have lunch here, you should be there at 10.30AM or 11AM because it starts being crazily busy from 11.30AM. people even have to line up (very long) for some dishes. I would rate Poseidon 5 stars for my first and second times there. But now I like it less. I guess I won't go there in the near future. P. S. If you are an expat, you may don't like this restaurant. Because my friend who is western so hates this place. Lol.
Trang P — Google review
Food was plentiful. Quality was good. Atmosphere was like an echoy church hall. Tables were too cramped together to navigate back to your seat. Impossible when your bum is big, and/or carrying a child. That would be a 3 star rating, but the incredible lack of health and safety regarding the play area. (2nd floor of the restaurant). They had an unsupervised play area waiting for a child to fall and seriously injure themselves. Play equipment was loose. This insecure and unbalanced was just placed there for kids to fall... And they did. Absolutely idiotic.
H W — Google review
Tasty, good and wide range of seafood and other dishes. Good service and atmosphere.
Uoc N — Google review
I'd been to the Poseidon on the dinner Friday, which have been great, always food ans fun. Went along to this one with my coleage, friends. This place had a buzzing atmostphere. Food almost seafood, freshly, dilecious and varity...

There are cockroaches on the table. I have asked the waiter to removed. Very sickening.

Nestled high above the bustling streets of Hanoi, Pan Pacific Hanoi is a luxurious retreat that promises an unforgettable experience. With its prime location just a short drive from Noi Bai International Airport and close to the vibrant city center, this hotel features 273 beautifully renovated rooms that offer breathtaking views of West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, and the Red River.
I've been only to the top Sky Bar and I was amazed by the beautiful view from there. It is wonderful and definitely worth visiting to chill out, take some good photos and even to eat. Food is not much Vietnamese, but everything I ordered was delicious. They give a handful of coconut and wasabi peanuts, which was very nice surprise.
Travel_Love — Google review
Good view and good location. There is a lake near by for your morning runs. Breakfast food and room service food are great and high quality. Sadly the toilets has no bidets, it’s a minor inconvenience. Front door crew on 3oct evening and 4th Oct morning I felt was unprofessional, busy talking to others and no opening doors, and not even acknowledgment that I was there. Doorman did not even offer to help with luggage. Not sure if it cos of how I dress/skin/race Very disappointed for a 5 star hotels if it is it not for the front counter staff and breakfast restaurant staff I will def give it 2 stars for service.
Mark N — Google review
Currently staying here and hugely disappointed with the state of the room/floor. Very surprised that Pan Pacific allow their brand to be associated with such a hotel. Having been in a club room in the Pan Pacific Singapore, with all the treats and benefits that go with it this hotel seems like a very poor relation. The cocktail hour offering is 3rd rate with basic level drinks. The Food and the staff are the only redeeming factors. However the rooms are very dated with old, stained furniture and carpets and the corridor on the 8th floor has an unpleasant smell. We had allegedly "upgraded" our Club room to a Club Suite with Lake view. This was an absolute joke. The room has very few electrical sockets that work, the paintwork is stained, the furniture is old and stained - both tables and sofa, and the view?? Because we are on the 8th floor instead of the 18th we can see more of the buildings beside the hotel than the lake. NO WAY IS THIS A 5 STAR HOTEL
Paddy C — Google review
Hotel very well located in the city centre, with all amenities. Excellent breakfasts, clean, well-maintained rooms, exquisite service. Swimming pool with great views, wonderful spa and gym, perfect for relaxing or exercising. The terrace on the 20th floor is spectacular, overlooking the entire city with all the buildings lit up, and it takes you into the nightlife of Hanoi. Highly recommended, 100%.
Mara A — Google review
The Pan Pacific Hotel Hanoi provides excellent rooms, amenities and service. The Pacifica restaurant, an all-day venue, served scrumptious lunch upon arrival. The athletics facilities are among the best I’ve seen in a hotel: In addition to a lap pool and a room with weights, the hotel features 3 ellipticals, 7 treadmills and 5 stationery bikes. The spa was excellent, with a Swedish massage from Ms. Hiền rejuvenating muscles after a day of travel. The hotel is in a great location to explore Hanoi.
Jeff C — Google review
The staff at the Pan Pacific's are impeccable. From the moment you step into the lobby you ate greeted with warmest smiles and greetings. We had lunch at the Song Hong Bar chose the Bun Cha thourally recommend. The staff especially Miss Ninh and Miss Lavender excellent service they both are a credit to the hotel. Thank you.
Rita F — Google review
One of the hotels that does not deserve its 5-star rating in Hanoi. The room didn’t feel new, and the electronic equipment was outdated. The bathroom and toilet areas had dirty corners and clearly needed maintenance. We are titanium membership, but when checking in, I had to wait a long time to get in the room when the staffs kept saying "5 minutes". Although we were upgraded to a larger suite room, it was on a very low floor which facing with the swimming roof (?), even though I requested a higher one. The staff were slow to assist and respond, explaining that it was the weekend and they were overloaded, so they couldn’t arrange the room we booked. If that’s the case, why does the hotel keep selling rooms that they can’t actually provide as promised? The breakfast had limited options, and the food layout was disorganized and messy. This hotel may be labeled 5-star, but it’s far from deserving that title or its price
Ngan P — Google review
The rooms definitely need a refresh. Most of them have smelly carpets, and we heard multiple guests complain about clogged bath areas (including ours). Breakfast was good. We used the spa service and 50% of my group had good experience, others didn’t. Would recommend asking for Hien for massages.

Buffet restaurant
Maison Sen Buffet is a chic and stylish buffet restaurant that offers a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes and seafood. With multiple locations across Hanoi, including in the Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung, and Hoan Kiem districts, Maison Sen Buffet has been serving delicious food since 2004. The chain promises professional and friendly service at affordable prices. It's no wonder it's considered one of the best restaurants in Hanoi.
There is a wide variety of dishes on offer, and they are fresh and delicious. The staff are very polite and quickly clear away tableware, so you can enjoy your meal without the table getting messy. Reservations can also be made through Facebook, and you can contact them promptly via messenger. They were also flexible in changing the number of seats. I really appreciate that.
Daisuke N — Google review
This buffet was an absolute great value—for the food, service, and overall environment. Some of my friends had seafood at street restaurants and ended up paying way too much, so I decided to go for a buffet with a fixed price instead. Definitely the right choice! You need to make a reservation through Messenger, and the staff clearly explains the price in advance, which I appreciated. The restaurant looks nice both outside and inside—lots of aunties were taking photos at the front door😄. The food selection was wide and everything I tried was fresh and high quality. I didn’t take many pictures because I was too busy eating. I came here with my mom, and we noticed many local families dining around us, which made us feel like we picked the right spot. We both really enjoyed the meal.
HXM W — Google review
One has to come to this amazing buffet to experience the sheer variety and freshness of the seafood. The selection is quite substantial, from tasty grill seafood to bbq ribs and local cuisines. The interior looks clean and spacious enough. With the sheer number of people in there, it can get a little too noisy. Servers are highly efficient in clearing the dirty plates off the table. Drinks are not included in the buffet, a young, perhaps new server was not aware of it. He told me the coke and bottle water on the table are free, only to find those two items were billed on my way out. That does not diminish my wonderful experience at Maison Sen. Will certainly visit this place for next trip to Hanoi.
Victor K — Google review
One of the best buffets I have had the pleasure of eating at. Focus on fresh seafood which is refilled all night, in most instances straight away, so you are never kept waiting. If booking the evening session, you have the table from open till closing which is a very nice aspect. A must try if in Hanoi. Bookings cancelled be made by calling or through their Facebook page.
Jake H — Google review
If you like seafood, it's absolutely heaven! It's the best place to eat in Hanoi. There are so many stations to choose from! If you can't try all the delicious Hanoi cuisine at once, this buffet is a must! Great value for money!!! Reservations are recommended! :)
Andrew L — Google review
I haven't seen so much seafood in my life, the buffet spread is amazing and they tasted great. There's shrimps, different crustaceans and any seafood you can think of. I also looove the clams in coconut sauce . However, they don't provide free drinking water. You have to buy mineral water and softdrinks which costs 29000 vnd each. Service is average, the waiter seeemd to be bad in mood. You can message them in Facebook for a reservation which I highly recommend since this restaurant is very popular. Overall, great food, with no free water and grumpy staff.

very interesting buffet in Hanoi, good selection of varieties and the crabs are pretty nice.
Nexus C — Google review
This buffet were lots of food and choices available including many seafood, vegetables and some meat. Both Eastern and Western food. There was a clown performance on the night we went which was great for kids. Birthday songs abd celebrations were popular there. The only thing I disliked was WATER WAS NOT FOR FREE, had to buy water.

We went to the restaurant at 8:45pm. Right when we first arrive the servers were talking in Vietnamese to the hostess in a tone that we can hear is not pleasant. The female hostess said we are closing soon. I showed them the closing time of ten and if they do indeed close at ten. A male server came up and again said we are closing soon and no tables. I pointed to the time again and asked if it was ten. He hesitated a bit, did not answer the question, and stated that they are out of food. The restaurant currently was full with food constantly being brought out to customers. This is the first time we have ever been lied to by a restaurant blatantly. The server’s name was Le Xuan Hieu. We were willing to pay the highest price buffet and finish eating by 10pm. But you have lost our business forever including our friends’. We were not even allowed to dine an hour and 15min before closing. We walked in the rain for 1km because we heard great reviews, and this had been very disheartening.

(Translated by Google) My family accidentally visited this restaurant because there were a few breakfast restaurants near the hotel that weren't open yet. The restaurant is crowded and most of them are locals, so it's guaranteed to be delicious. The portion is just enough, not too much or too little, drinking a glass of bean milk or a glass of jasmine tea from the restaurant will warm your stomach. I went on Monday morning, the atmosphere was busy so I focused on eating quickly and didn't dare sit for a long time 🤣, the lady who served me was also cute, the cup of tea was so hot that I asked for more ice and she happily took more.

Mix it thoroughly, add some spicy chili pepper fillets, add vinegar for a different taste halfway through, add the soup that comes with it little by little, enjoy the various flavors, and you'll have it all in no time. It's delicious. It's a little far from the old town and Japanese town, so it's inconvenient for Japanese and foreigners, but it's a store we want to spread the word about. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Hanoi, Hotel du Parc Hanoi is a refined oasis that beautifully blends traditional Vietnamese charm with subtle Japanese architectural influences. This stylish hotel features 260 cozy rooms, each designed for comfort and relaxation, complete with king-size beds to ensure restful nights after your travels. Guests can indulge in the hotel's two exquisite restaurants or unwind at the chic bar while enjoying stunning views of Thong Nhat Park and a nearby lake.
I had a spa massage with Ms. Dung. I first used a voucher for a complimentary 30-minute foot massage, and after that, I decided to extend my session with an additional 60-minute signature treatment. I personally prefer strong pressure, and she carefully adjusted the strength during the session while checking with me. Her signature treatment leaves the whole body feeling refreshed, and I highly recommend it. If I have the chance to visit Hanoi again, I would definitely like to come back. Thank you so much!

Sorry, but my stay was disappointing. The way in which you promote yourself is not reflective of the hotel and the room I stayed in (922). The room was tired and very dated. It needs a refresh without doubt. The fridge was so loud I had to unplug it. The bed was rock hard, and I like a firm mattress! The carpet was stained and there was a musty odour. The shower had a fixed nozzle that couldn't be adjusted and the water shot out above my head. Sorry, but this hotel doesn't reflect what they say it is. Breakfast was just an average selection of food and poor jug coffee.

It's a spacious room with a traditional design. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly! Special thanks to Ms. Phuong and Ms. Mayu—they were extremely helpful and responded promptly to all our requests. Great attitude and sweet smiles! Thumbs up! I’ll definitely come back again in the future. 😊

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations I had for a five-star property. The furnishings in my room (1516) appeared dated, and one of the bed frames was unstable. Within minutes of my arrival, I noticed the bed leaning to one side. Although staff sent someone to adjust it, the issue persisted throughout the day so I had to keep adjusting the wheel so the bed didn't lean. While I appreciate the staff’s willingness to assist and kindness, I personally did not feel the room quality reflected the cost of this hotel.

I want to come back to this hotel just for the amazing food. I stayed here over three nights and I have never been let down by the restaurant downstairs. They have the most delicious buffet breakfast amongst all the hotels I have stayed in. Their croissant was buttery, crispy and flaky. When I dipped the croissant in the creamy onsen egg, it was amazing! For dinner, the beef pho was more expensive than what you can buy at a local restaurant, but the flavours were just perfectly balanced. It was honestly the best pho I had in Vietnam. I also really enjoyed their creamy chicken pasta. The room was a good size. However, it may need some new paint for the walls, but the service was great. The staff were lovely and attentive. The beds were comfortable, not too firm and not too soft. The location is within a really short walk to train street. It is a little bit further from the Old Quarter, but you can easily call a Grab ride to go anywhere in Vietnam.

still my favorite spot! came back to the restaurant and, of course, had my go-to chicken spaghetti, still as delicious as ever. the pasta was perfectly cooked, the chicken flavorful, and the sauce creamy without being too heavy. the staff remembered me and brought out my favorite drink without me even asking. that small gesture meant a lot.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay here. The rooms are sizeable with good air conditioning and plumbing. The breakfast buffet is superb and the staff attentive and helpful. It is close to one of the train streets in Hanoi with plenty to browse or see nearby.

This place was an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, kind, and genuinely attentive — their hospitality made all the difference. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, stylish, and inviting. The interior design had such a beautiful balance of comfort and elegance, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. Our room was spotless, bright, and super comfortable — easily one of the best stays we’ve ever had. We felt truly taken care of during the entire visit. If you're looking for a place that combines great service, beautiful design, and a warm, relaxing vibe, don’t think twice. I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff made us feel incredibly welcome. When we got to our room, we were delighted to find a complimentary bottle of wine, a platter of food, and even a birthday cake, such a thoughtful touch that truly made my day. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We dined at the on-site restaurants and appreciated the variety and quality of the menus. The breakfast service was excellent and set us up nicely for the day. After long days of sightseeing, the swimming pool provided the perfect way to unwind; a peaceful, tranquil oasis. I would highly recommend staying at the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel.

Love the view from our room on the 10th floor. Nice pool, good service. Great room rates compared to other 5 star hotels in Hanoi. Will definitely come back!

The hotel is clearly a bit older — the building and interiors show their age, The front desk staff really made a difference. Lily, who I think is the manager, along with Zoe and Juni, were all friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. They were quick to help with any questions or small requests, and always had a positive attitude, which I appreciated. In a place where the facilities feel a little tired, the good service helped balance things out. If you're not too concerned about having the most modern setup and just want a comfortable stay with helpful staff in a central location, this hotel is still a solid choice.

Nestled in the heart of Hanoi's bustling business district, Hilton Hanoi Opera stands as a beacon of elegance and modernity. This stately hotel is just a stone's throw from the iconic Hanoi Opera House and offers easy access to the vibrant French Quarter, making it an ideal base for both corporate travelers and tourists alike. The hotel's stunning Beaux Arts architecture features a grand two-story lobby adorned with impressive marble columns and an exquisite crystal chandelier that sets a luxurious tone upon entry.
Although this hotel is a little older, I was extremely happy with it. The cost is about what you'd expect for an upscale accommodation in the area (maybe slightly less) and it's well worth it. The service was excellent, answering all my questions, and everyone spoke English very well. The rooms were also a generous size. The best part is the location, right in Old Quarter and walkable to many of the best parts of the city. The only downside is that the executive lounge was closed, but hopefully they will open it up soon.

Very good experience at this hotel, staff takes great care of guests especially Son, he goes above and beyond expectations. As others have mentioned the rooms are a bit dated, however the cleanliness and care the staff takes more than makes up for it. After a 3 week trek through SE Asia, they have by far and away the best breakfast buffet of anywhere we stayed… not even close!

The rooms are a little dated but they're always quiet and clean. The service however, is really very good. Everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I've stayed in the hotel for nearly two months in 2022 and was made to feel very welcome. I would book it again without hesitation.

Good old hotel and my favorite for over 20 years. Pros- a good central location, a nice spacious room w bath tub, clean, quiet. Cons- the hotel need a comprehensive renovation soon to meet client expectations. Pool closes at 6:00PM and the pool bottom must be cleaned abd water should be colder. Wish to return.

Stayed here for a recent trip to Vietnam. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Location was very good, with decent food options and attractions within walking distance of the hotel. Some aspects of the hotel were closed or had limited service due to the pandemic, but it wasn't a material detriment to the experience. Highly recommend the sweet tea options at the bar. Furnishings are slightly dated, but very well kept. I would stay here again if I end up going back to Hanoi.
Michael R — Google review
As with all large hotels the deco is quite drab but it is bright and well kept in the main. The hallways between rooms are a little dated and worn but the rooms themselves are in good order as was the gym, sauna , pool, bar and lobby. Rooms are enormous, bathroom has separate shower and bath. Bed is very comfy and linen is good quality. Staff are very helpful and polite. A good stay.
George D — Google review
The hotel is a bit dated, but still maintain the cleanliness. I think if they renivete the interior like changing new carpets and brighter light, the hotel must be looking good. The best part of the hotel is that it is at the city centre and also near to the walking street where every weekend starting from 7PM. Good location, good food.
Christopher T — Google review
Absolutely love this hotel and the rooms. Have been here 5-6 times now and have only ever stayed in a Suite. Very impressed with them! The beds are awesome. Perfect for me and my wife - so much that we want to buy one for our home. The separate living area and having 2 bathrooms is fantastic when you have a child. Everything in the room is as it should be. Someone mentioned being outdated but I thought it was far from outdated with a new Samsung 40in TV in the room, plus fridge and bar in the room with snacks. Hard to find better hotels than this. Room size is also very good compared to other hotels we’ve visited. Room service also never lets us down so I’m always willing to rack up a few extra $$ on the bill to dine in. Menu is great and food always good. I can’t honestly think of any downside. Perhaps the view we had this time wasn’t that great - so we just kept the curtains drawn. Located in the best area (in my opinion) of Hanoi, very close proximity to anything you need and very safe here. Highly recommend this hotel.

Buffet Chay Hương Thiền is a top choice for vegan dining in Hanoi, offering a diverse selection of plant-based dishes. The restaurant prides itself on creating delicious and visually appealing vegetarian meals using fresh ingredients to promote health and well-being. With an extensive buffet featuring over 100 delectable vegan options, including traditional Vietnamese cuisine and international favorites, diners can enjoy a wide range of flavors at an affordable price.
There’s a wide variety of food available, but some dishes could be served hotter. Certain items, especially those left out for a while, tend to cool down. That said, the selection is impressive, and the Pho deserves a huge shoutout — it’s the best I’ve had during my trip to Hanoi 😋
Zi L — Google review
This buffet is 150k which is more expensive than other buffets in the city, but has a large selection of dishes and some are quite unique. There is also a dessert and fresh fruit section. There are unique dishes like a banana curry which was amazing, but almost everything has tofu in it which makes for some limits to the diversity. There are healthy options, but there are more fried/oily options than some other buffets. Seating is limited so it is less private and you may feel rushed. Otherwise, aesthetics are nice.
Philip S — Google review
The place is not so big, no parking area so I had to pay 10k vnd for bike parking near by. Various choice of vegan food, basically they taste ok with some dishes taste really good. Price is cheap, just around 100k vnd. Staff is friendly and supportive. But it's crowded at meal time, many ppl don't finish all the food and some even drop food on the floor. Many dishes is cold, which also make them less tasty.

A very good buffet restaurant. Many of the travelling agencies bring their customers for buffet lunch and this is good for the tourists and seems popular amongst the tourists as well. On the menu there are almost 30 varieties of food preparations from salads of different kinds soups of different tastes soups being of goat and the vegetables. Amongst the food preparations they are vegetarians as well as non vegetarians from goat meet, chicken, beef and pork. On the mene rice and noodles are on table. It a rather a whole sum and sumptuous meal being served on the table. To take food here is rather should be preferred than alacarte menu at a restaurant where one or two preparations are ordered but costs more.
Bansal P — Google review
Restaurant is big with a lot of food. There are many traditional dishes that is very famous for tourists such as spring roll, steamed Cake, topioca cake.... You have to take the food by yourself, and should finish all of it. There are many people come here so it is quite noisy and people go around food area makes it clumsy. Dishes are not really special , some is cold and has same taste
Nguyễn T — Google review
All-you-can-buffet with vegetarian only and 109k per person. You can get coupons at hotdeal.vn so that you just need to pay 99k. The choice of food is huge! Soups, curries, fried rice and noodles, vegetables of all kinds, salad, fruit, mock meat, springrolls and so on. The quality is good, the taste is ok but some of the fried mock meat and springroll variations don't taste good. Tea is in the back available for free. The restaurant is really crowded, so try to get a table in the corner or you will have people running around you all the time. That's quite annoying. Besides that it's a good offer of vegetarian food for a very reasonable price.

Cuu Van Long Buffet Restaurant in Hanoi is renowned for its upscale seafood buffet featuring over 200 diverse and rich dishes, including the unique offering of Dimsum. The restaurant's warm and luxurious space is adorned with bright red tones, peony motifs, and decorative lanterns that exude cultural influences. Seafood enthusiasts can indulge in a wide array of options such as Chinese, Japanese, and grilled food while enjoying excellent service and a variety of desserts.
I recently visited Cửu Vân Long, and it was everything my mom hyped it up to be! This was my first time trying a seafood buffet in Hanoi, and I was thoroughly impressed. The variety of seafood is incredible—fresh and replenished every 15 minutes by the attentive staff, ensuring everyone gets to enjoy the best picks. I loved the crab, snails, and pipis—they were all cooked perfectly. The chicken feet salad was a pleasant surprise, full of flavor and texture. As for the buns, the egg yolk and matcha varieties were so unique and tasty. For dessert, the offerings were fresh and delightful, especially their yogurt, which was a great way to finish the meal. The tea was slightly too sweet for my liking, but it’s perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The ambiance, inspired by Cantonese luxury, added to the experience, making it feel special and festive. With over 200 dishes, this buffet truly delivers on quality and variety. A must-try if you’re in Hanoi!
Jade P — Google review
Really nice food compared to some other buffet restaurants in Hanoi, in the same price range. Everything looks fresh and is always replenished as soon as it gets empty. However, the usual tricks... Plenty of toppings that you never asked for, all over most (not all, fortunately) seafood served here, just to make sure customers get full quicker. Can't blame them though, competitors do the same. Service was really good, MUCH better than most competitors where staff members tend to look down on you and laugh at you whenever your request their attention. Price is not too expensive, not cheap though, but it fits the level of food quality and variety that you'll find there. Recommended!
N P — Google review
The food looks amazing with a variety of seafood, sushi, Chinese food, and even some Western food. I went with family mainly for the AYCE seafood as the restaurant looked modern and lots of seafood are cooked in addition to sashimi choices. The food tasted good with a variety of sauces. If you are a local, this restaurant would be a gem. However, my sister and I ended up with food poisoning after eating here, which really sucked during our holiday. Beware of the seafood, which is the attraction of this place.

Super unique experience for seafood lovers. We made a reservation but it was a bit of a hassle since the staff didn't speak English and asked us to send a message on Facebook. The buffet cost VND 398,000 for weekday dinner, and it offered many varieties of seafood and meat (if you wish to cook it BBQ style). We really enjoyed the experience as the food was fresh and there were so many options that we wanted to try more and more. The food was placed across the restaurant, so make sure to explore and know where everything is. Total cost for food & drinks for 2 people = VND 925,681 The only reason we couldn't give them a 5-star rating is because they served us hot beer, and when we asked for cold ones, they gave us ice. Evidently, the language barrier was a big issue, despite using Google Translator. Overall, the restaurant offers great value for what you get, and it is still a must-try. Just be sure to use Google Translator and be very specific in what you need. :)
Jo S — Google review
Loved every moment here! The seafood selection was incredible – lobsters, oysters, shrimp, even sushi. I appreciated how clean and well-maintained the buffet line was. Service staff were fast and friendly. Highly recommend!
Roman W — Google review
This is a buffet style restaurant, located at 2nd level (somehow marked as "L" instead of "2" on the elevator's panel) of this building. There is absolutely no accessible staircase for customers to get in or out of this restaurant, you are forced to use one of two available elevators here which are usually crowded during meal times (and Vietnamese people don't queue, they just rush in like animals). Now about the restaurant itself, it is one big mess that covers an entire floor. Food quality is on average, food diversity is poor and there is also no dish nameplates all of which truly reflect the price range of 400k-500k VND/customer. Tables are placed quite close to one another that doesn't help lessening the crowdness at all. The only positive aspect of this restaurant is that it has a small area dedicated to children as playground which is a good practice that should be encouraged.

Located at the heart of Hanoi, Cau Go Vietnamese Cuisine is a restaurant with a rich historical backdrop. Situated on the intersection of Dinh Tien Hoang Street and Cau Go Street, it draws its name from the latter, which was once home to a bridge connecting Hang Dao and Hoan Kiem.
Well deserving of being on the Michelin guide. Food was delicious! The chao tom, beef in betel leaves and grilled squid were all very good! But the star dish was the grilled leather jacket fish. With a perfectly browned exterior, the characteristic firm textured flesh of this species works so well when grilled. Service was very good. The view of Hoan Kiem lake from the top floor adds to the ambiance. Only downside is it’s quite costly by local standards.

It was a wonderful evening. Our waitress Thu Thao was really sweet and caring. The Price-performance ratio was okay. Expected two pieces of artichoke since the hot pot is recommended for two people. A bit more rice noodles or other side dishes would have been nicer in exchange for some mushrooms. Would recommend that place because the quality was really good!

Restaurant does not live up to the hype and reviews I have read about it. Decided to try fine dining in Hanoi (this restaurant was mentioned in the Michelin Guide). In a nutshell it was disappointing experience - nice view of Hoe Kiem Lake but the food and service was disappointing. The table setting for 2 is really small. The irony was the head waitress was try to push us to order more dishes. I was looking forward to experience Vietnamese cooking in an upmarket restaurant. What I saw on the menu were versions of Hanoi street food such as Cha Ca (fried fish with chives and spring onions) or Bun Cha (deep fried pork rolls). My view is that it is to better experience these dishes at other restaurants around Hanoi which are famous for these dishes. I opted for recommended Vietnamese dishes which turned out to be very ordinary and similar to middle of the road offerings of Asian cooking in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Service was average at best. Head waitress was keen to push us to order as many dishes as possible. I felt five dishes for 2 persons was more than sufficient! Waiter serving our table was inexperieced and had problems placing the dishes on our small table. What bothered me most was the rush to deliver all the food ordered at the same time. The serving team does not appreciate that I was there to enjoy the experience the nice view and would like to enjoy each dish properly. It felt like I was been rushed in a very popular Pho restaurant in Hanoi with many customers waiting for a table. I could not see the rush as restaurant was not busy that evening. Pricing was okay. Not at Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore level. But food was very ordinary given all the expectations.

We arrived for an early dinner and were lucky to catch the most beautiful sunset. The restaurant, a Michelin-recommended spot, occupies the top two floors of the building, and while we sat on the first floor (indoor seating only), the balcony still offered a lovely view overlooking Ho Hoan Kiem and Den Ngoc Son. The decor is charming, though it has a slightly temporary vibe. The menu features a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, and we had quite a feast. Our favorites were the deep-fried spring rolls—crispy and flavorful, the clay pot rice—comforting and perfectly seasoned, and the traditional Hanoi grilled fish (cha ca)—a standout with its fragrant local herbs and spices. The fermented shrimp paste served with it was savory and packed with umami. Other dishes like the southern-style grilled unicorn leather jacket fish, soft-shell crab, grilled squid, deep-fried tofu, and sour pork rib soup were solid and enjoyable. However, the Hue-style sautéed baby clams with rice crackers was a letdown—it lacked the smoky "wok hei" and tasted more like the clams were just steamed. Service was attentive and friendly, but one thing to note is that they tend to bring all the dishes out at once, which can feel rushed. It’s hard to savor everything when you’re worried about it cooling down. My advice? Order your starters first and then the mains later to better control the pace of your meal. Overall, a great spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and stunning views, with just a few small tweaks needed to make the experience even better.

Very tasty food and a lot of different dishes from Vietnam. Staff were very friendly and the food tasted great! Be aware that it’s more on the premium side regarding the prices. Also a reservation is highly recommended.

Fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Dai, was polite and recommended the crab, which turned out to be amazing. Service was quick, making it a perfect dinner before our departure from Vietnam. Highly recommend! Thank you so much, Dai.

Koto Van Mieu Restaurant, located across from the Temple of Literature, is not just a place to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine but also a social enterprise with a noble mission. The restaurant aims to provide job opportunities for marginalized youth and offers training in all aspects of running a 5-star restaurant.
Amazing!! We came back the next day for round two. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. I especially liked the prawn and pomelo in leaves appetiser. Our server Cha from K45 was great.

In a city full of amazing food, KOTO manages to stand out in terms of unusual but truly delicious flavours. Great for gluten free and vegetarian too. We had tofu poke bowl, beef stir fry, beef tenderloin plus jicama salad. The tofu poke bowl is among the best food I’ve eaten in years!! Drinks - we had passion fruit kombucha (really great!), salted coffee (iced, delicious!), and a Bellini. Dessert - we were pretty stuffed but we shared a banana flambé with ice cream. This place is not to be missed.

This restaurant is part of a training programme for young people, and as such, the service is excellent. The food and drinks were also extremely good, although possibly slightly adjusted for western tastes. A set meal costs 300-350K per person (min 2), and gives a good range of dishes.

Incredible social impact organization that spreads kindness to the underserved through food (and art). I had the kombucha, two way pork, and fruit. I heard the coffee is stellar. Everything was amazing. For North Americans, the booch is mild fizziness which I enjoyed. I also couldn't resist buying a few souvenirs while enjoying my food. I left this place feeling good both in the soul and tummy :-) Lastly, An and team were great, very responsive, and helpful with the menu which doesn't disappoint. I'm wrapping up a solo trip but will absolutely return with the family to enjoy this amazing place.

Noisy, poor service, food is ok but not worth going. They gave us a table close to the door, constantly people walk in and out, even the cleaning lady with trash bins!!! And they don’t allow us to change table. Even if there are other tables upstairs. Their service is poor, the staff seems don’t know what they’re doing, they provided towels to some tables but not the other. Then they don’t look for tables, two of the staff stacked in one table while there are two other tables are calling … They seems has nothing to do. The food is ok but nothing special. In short, Don’t need to go.

Walked in off the street knowing nothing about the place. The staff were so good and obliging and speak reasonable english. The food and drinks were healthy and very tasty. The cleanliness and ambience is top class. This place is a credit to all involved. Highly recommend.

I had dinner in the restaurant as part of a group travel in Vietnam. The diner was delicious with a generous amount of food. The staff was very nice and the place is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. I would recommend to anyone to go and try Vietnamese food here. The restaurant also supports local people with training in hospitaly careers, which is a good cause. Thank you very much for the amazing dinner!

Absolutely loved my experience here. It’s great to see a Vietnamese chef elevate the unique flavors of Vietnam. The dishes were thoughtful and creative. Also, as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I’m glad they had a juice pairing option with some pretty unique flavors! Service was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and took their time to explain the dishes. The cards they provided explaining the dish and the origins of the ingredients were a nice touch. If I’m ever in Hanoi again I will definitely come back and see what new creations chef Tung has come up with.

That was a phenomenal and memorable experience. The food was outstanding and was presented in an astonishingly creative way. Each of the dishes secured an intense burst of flavour and every time brought a mystery with it. The staff was not only polite but also knowledgeable, able to present the dishes both in Vietnamese and English which helped me familiarise with the origin of each of the dishes. The restaurant was quiet, clean and beautifully decorated with a welcoming atmosphere. I genuinely recommend this restaurant and it's undeniably one of the best experiences I've had in Hanoi.

What an adventure for our palate! Each dish is unique yet oddly familiar, like I can’t do justice to them with just words 😅 We also enjoyed learning stories from the cue cards that came with each course. Overall a memorable experience for our birthday celebration & would love to come back one day. Big thanks to the very attentive, friendly & knowledgeable crew 🧡 You guys deserve all the credits!

An exquisite fine dining experience - we were greeted with warm hospitality from the whole team the moment we walked in. The interior is in a Nordic/Scandinavian modern style which is simple but classy. We love that each dish comes with a little card that introduces the dish. Each dish is meticulously designed with precision from its flavours to presentation, entwining Vietnamese indigenous ingredients. Truly a gastronomical journey and experience.

Dining at T.U.N.G. was an amazing experience. It put a ray of sunshine on our otherwise very wet and rainy holiday in Hanoi. The food was savoury and beautifully presented. I especially loved how chef Tung brought the flavours to his food and elevated it to another level. I came back here for my birthday dinner and tried the new menu, The Treasure Gallery of Vietnam’s Flavors. It felt wonderful to see how Chef Tùng and the team growing this journey. The food has become even more focused and more confident, yet still playful in a very Vietnamese way. The evening began with a gentle shiso tea scented with Hoà Bình ginger and guava, then warm sourdough with chẩm chéo and Lý Sơn black garlic. A simple start that set the rhythm nicely. The toothfish reminded me why it is one of the signatures here. Buttery as ever, paired with Bắc Giang yardlong beans, clam and a soft curry that tied everything together. The menu moved smoothly from the bright lobster with pineapple and fermented tomato to the clever reimagination of phở. The broth carried the depth of sá sùng in true Northern style, and the whole dish felt both familiar and lifted. The carabineros course was a clear highlight. The umami from Cát Hải fish sauce, chili, onion and kombu wrapped around the sweetness of the prawn. The extra crunch from the carabineros cracker made the flavor pop even more. The veal with Mộc Châu strawberry and rice paddy herb was clean and refreshing, while the little Gia Lai pork bun beside the foie gras bún bò chawanmushi brought a fun touch that still tasted luxurious. Before the satsuma gyu A5+, the team brought out a hand forged knife. It added a small moment of personality that made the course feel special without being theatrical. The beef was excellent, and the cao lầu side won by a mile for me. Desserts were balanced and thoughtfully paced. The Đà Lạt sweet potato with Kristal caviar felt like the signature it is, followed by a bright tofu, lychee and soursop combination. The Đồng Nai chocolate with kumquat was smooth and warm, and the final taste of Bình Thuận red dragon fruit and starfruit ended the meal on a lovely note. Overall, the menu shows real intention and a deeper love for Vietnamese flavors. Service was warm, timing was smooth and the entire experience felt celebratory from start to finish. A beautiful birthday dinner and a very strong chapter for Tùng.

Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi - MGallery is a stylish property located near the iconic Opera House in Hanoi. The colonial facade blends with the French Quarter's vibe, while the interiors boast vibrant colors, mirrored ceilings, and contemporary art and architecture. With 107 rooms and suites spread across eight floors, guests can enjoy three dining options including a brasserie-style cafe, a Vietnamese restaurant, and a signature bar for evening cocktails. The hotel also offers spaces for corporate events and special occasions.
I flew in two days early to escape the impending Typhoon in Hong Kong and stayed in a King Sized Bed room and liked it very much. For the next three days I had booked the 77 sq m Suites Overlooking the Opera House. I was absolutely amazed at the size and Opulence of the Massive room tastefully furnished and Very Classy. I am seldom impressed but this place excelled and the staff and food were excellent too. I will be certainly be returning on my next trip to Hanoi

Room Condition: The rooms were old, poorly maintained, and neglected. Features like ancient TVs, yellowed smoke detectors, and unfinished renovations left a very negative impression. The walls were patched but never painted, and the carpet was outdated, contributing to an uncomfortable atmosphere. Bed Quality: The bed was made up of two single beds pushed together, with mismatched headboards, making it extremely uncomfortable for sleep. Interior Design & Ambiance: The room's interior was as chaotic and tasteless, with mismatched elements, a dark color scheme, rough plaster patches, and cheap purple wallpaper on the ceiling. Overall, the decor did not feel welcoming or cozy. Bathroom & Odors: The bathroom fixtures were outdated, and there was a strong, unpleasant sewage smell, adding to the discomfort. Hotel Entrance & Facilities: While the hotel entrance was somewhat decent, the door itself was described as plastic, old, and damaged, resembling a public restroom at a gas station, which diminished the overall experience. Safety Concerns: Despite the central location, the surrounding area was described as unsafe, with a "sketchy atmosphere," especially in the evening. Service Issues: Hotel staff took passports during check-in and then forgot about them, only returning them the next day without any communication or explanation. Value for Money: The hotel was overpriced, with a value far below expectations. It did not meet its advertised star rating, and the price was at least four times higher than the experience warranted.

We loved this hotel. Yes it’s an older hotel but that is what makes it lovely. The bed was comfortable, the staff were so friendly and the location was great. We liked that we could get to everything from it but weren’t right in the thick of all the madness. There was a big outdoor concert on outside the opera house while we were there and it was so loud outside. But inside we couldn’t hear a thing. Last but most importantly…. The buffet breakfast was amazing!! Thank you MGallery.

From the moment our cab dropped us off to the moment our bags were loaded onto the bus that took us to our next destination, the hotel staff were so professional and accommodating! We also took advantage of a 60min massage at the on-site spa, and the laundry service. Breakfast each morning was a delicious never-ending buffet, and we also enjoyed craft cocktails in the evening. The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are large and have everything you'd want or need. Would recommend!

I have been travelling to Ha Noi two or three times a year since 2015 (covid years excluded), MGallery Hotel Opera was the first Ha Noi hotel I stayed in. Each time I come back I try to stay here for at least a part of my time and even if not staying I visit regularly to enjoy the bar and restaurant. All the staff are friendly and approachable, I can't name them all as I am useless at remembering names but I will give a shout out to Minh in the bar, my favourite Ha Noi barman. It's also impressive that General Manager Alberto is always present and making himself known to guests and customers, It makes for a very welcoming experience.

Haan Vegan - Buffet Chay is a top choice for vegetarian dining in Hanoi, offering a diverse buffet with around 30 different dishes that change daily. The restaurant is located at 71 Dao Tan and features two floors for dining. Guests can expect well-balanced dishes made with fresh ingredients and carefully adjusted seasonings. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming.
I enjoyed it so much. The place is nice and the choice is large. I really enjoyed having fresh fruits. I ate like a happy pig. Buffet for 110k vnd. I served myself 3 times a complete meal until I was stuffed like a buffalo frog. Minus : the fried food seems too brown meaning high concentration of AGE. Maybe the oil needs a more frequent change ? I am not sure what kind of tea it was but I would feel better a soft green tea with high antioxidant concentration to balance the AGE of the fried food.

110K/pax. Packed with people during lunch time, and the U shape of how they place the foods make it hard to take the foods. People don't queue just stuck there that's quite annoyed. Foods don't change too much day by day. Quality is okay but you will smell not so good after 30-40mins dining there. Better to order delivery pax rather than coming there for buffet.

We came here with our British friend. The initial impression was good. The food items were tasty and there’s quite a few variety. However, my girlfriend got a severe case of food poisoning the day after and ended up in the emergency room, disrupting our trips plans. I didn’t get food poisoning but was passing noxious , disgusting farts all night and had stomach discomfort. As of now, she is still experiencing terrible pains and cannot eat, running to the bathroom multiple times a day. We have eaten at many establishments (big and small) all over Vietnam and have never had this happen. While I understand that food poisoning happens when you’re traveling , upon reading the reviews , we discovered many reviews by customers, local and foreigners who had the same problem. We highly urge the administration to look into their food safety practices and identify the problem. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter

The food is still tasty and filling. But the staff quality has never been that great, especially a few days ago when I visited there. Both staff members were coughing with no masks on while preparing the online orders. They of course didn't wash their hands after coughing into them and then proceeded to touch all the utensils and delivery boxes. This is very unhygienic like they didn't learn anything after Covid. Even if they don't have Covid, I don't care. I don't wanna catch any illnesses from people's germs. Another annoying thing that the staff has ALWAYS done is prioritizing online orders, kind of competing with the dine-in customers to get the foods first. I thought it's common sense + politeness to let the dine-in customers DINE first. Then they can take care of the others who are not currently in the restaurant.

Veggie Castle is a chain of six vegetarian restaurants in Hanoi, two of which are conveniently located near downtown. The restaurant boasts a colorful and elegant Bohemian style, creating a warm and intimate dining space. Despite being part of a franchise, it maintains an authentic feel. Customers praise the delicious vegan dishes that surpass their expectations and make them forget about missing meat.
I’ve been to a few of the Veggie Castles in Hanoi, but so far this is the best. Their food was very flavorful, but not too oily. They had a huge selection, including dishes that you don’t find elsewhere. Some of my favorites were the kimchi, the Kho quet, the fresh banh duc, bun dau, and bun rieu. The Korea style ‘fried chicken’ was also amazing. The salads and Che Buoi were also great. The restaurant is spacious but filled with people. Nevertheless, the food was continuously restocked and fresh. Of course, they have the classic vibrant Veggie Castle decor. Great place to meet friends or colleagues .

Excellent place for vegetarian or vegan food. There is an all you can eat buffet, all you can eat hot pot, or both. Our party decided to have just the buffet. Place gets crowded. There are three floors of seating and outdoor balcony options as well. Staff are friendly enough, but they're busy collecting plates, washing dishware, or cooking and bringing out newly cooked food. Bathroom is on the third floor, and it's clean.

Don't think too hard about this one. Just go. I've been about 5 times in the past two weeks. The food is of the finest quality and is as fresh as can be. I absolutely love this place. The flavours are very varied. The salads have opened my eyes to new things. Avo, mango, apple, with lettuce and other things; who would have thought? Anyway I could go on, but suffice to say that the quality is great and it's good value for money.

I am not normally a fan of vegetarian food but this restaurant made me a believer. I love meat but I didn't miss it here. The restaurant is part of franchise but it doesn't feel that way The food here was delicious, includes iced tea, the atmosphere was very nice, friendly staff and a very reasonable price. I would give it 5 stars later if they make some minor changes. They have a problem with their reservations. People don't see tables that are "reserved" ahead of time and often try to sit down at a reserved table and staff need to move them. A larger reservation sign that is maybe bright colored would be very helpful. I also recommend that salt and pepper be at all the tables or at least available at the buffet. Expect waiting in line and waiting for a good table if you go during peak times or Buddhist holidays. Reservations are also recommended but not possible if they are very busy so call early. The staff often gets very so don't expect great service iduring peak times and understand that you are at buffet that expects you to help yourself. The restaurant serves only buffet style so the chef makes food seasoned to appeal to everyone. Sometimes that means If you like your food more spicy then maybd bring some spices or chili sauce with you to add. The times in Google are not correct. They close around 1:30-2:00 pm after lunch and reopen for dinner at 6:00 pm

Great place for lunch! The buffet 90k VND is continuously well stocked with fried, steamed, sauteed and braised dishes, plus salads, fruit, desserts. No one will miss animal proteins after a meal here. The setting is verdant, calming, an oasis. Everything looks appetizing, there is a wide selection, and everything is very tasty. Plan to eat around 12 noon, so you have the widest selection.
Susan G — Google review
When I asked a question about not having a place to seat, the staff just mumbled and didn't look at me in the eyes, telling me what i should do. The buffet is of average quality (taste, variety...) for its price of 80K. I like that they don't use fake soy patties but wholesome vegan ingredients. The "Bun rieu", red rice kimbab, sweet and sour fried mushroom, and salads are delicious. Too much tofu though. The curry is undersalt and not enough curry flavor for me. Their mango tapioca jelly should have mango chunks. Service is not very good.

Great vegetarian restaurant, located on the 2nd floor (go through the Buddhist store on the 1st floor). Large variety of items on the menu. I got one of the meal sets for 50,000 and was absolutely stuffed. I liked the interesting mix of cold vegetables and the fake chicken tasted great. The only thing I didn't like as much was the cold cabbage soup. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with a nice view of the street. It didn't look like there was a buffet there, like was mentioned in previous reviews.

Located right next to Quan Su Pagoda. Open till 9pm. Many food choices with reasonable prices. Taste is really okay, not so oily, not too light. Spacious room, yellow light. Middle-aged staffs are nice. They have breakfast buffet 39K/pax, lunch/dinner buffet 98K/pax. Set rice in the photo is around 40-60K. Noodles is around 30-40K but the portion is quite big. We came in as a table of 6 but forced us into a table for four people but when others came in allocated the table that would have fitted six to those and we asked for two tables but they said they couldn’t accommodate that as they kept saying lots of people due but until we left there were still at least 4 tables free so they could have accommodated us. 6 people no space and couldn’t put anything on the table so it ruined the fun experience. And service was so slow no one to pick the empty fishers Wouldn’t go again ruined good night .

Good hot pot, good mushroom broth, very nice staff especially with us foreigners, however I missed some of the sauces typical for hot pot (soy sauce, peanut butter, garlic ...)
Hanna R — Google review
The food is terribly bland. The beef is mushy and too much fat. The hot pot lacks critical spices. The service is ok but employees talk like zombies, the place is clean and spacious but the eating experience is mediocre at best.

It takes a lot for me to go out of my way to write a bad review, but this place takes the cake. Here’s a summary of our experience: - Their QR code ordering does not work. - The ingredients are all written in Vietnamese, you can change it to English but the ingredient names stay the same. - There are no pictures for anything other meats, good luck trying to translate the rest. - The conveyor belt had nothing of value on it. - Staff were extremely slow and brought the completely wrong orders out TWICE. Just a very unpleasant experience for significantly more money. Don’t go there if you want to enjoy your day.

I’m Japanese American who had really bad experience at Kichi kichi. My family try to have a lunch there at 14:00 7/18. They said that lunch time is closed. But google online shows they open 10:00 AM -10:00PM ( English site). And we try to eat there again at 12:50 today (7/20). They also told us it was closed. We were really upset about this situation, not allowing us in there. They are DISCRIMINATING. ONLY Vietnamese can allow to eat there. NO FOREIGNERS!!! Because we saw other Vietnamese customer allows inside after us. There are so many tourists around here. But I don’t see any foreigners inside the restaurant. I guess why. I highly not recommend this place if you are foreigner. But I guess you are ok if you are Vietnamese.
SmartiePanda — Google review
I came back to Kichi Kichi after 4 years. But somehow, the food was getting worse through time. Fishes smell like they had been in the refrigerator for a whole month. There's only pork meat, you will have to order beef with extra money. With the 300.000VND price, I can get even better quality beef at a different restaurant with a price of not over 200.000VND. In general, higher price with no better choice of food, just the same from 4 years ago. However, the staff was such nice to me. The restaurant is so so, not too big.
Thảo P — Google review
Out of all the Kichi-Kichi's I've tried in Hanoi, this one is the redemption of this restaurant chain. Came here during non-peak hour, so I cannot say for sure how the experience will be during the more crowded time; but nevertheless, I had a perfect experience here compare to the other Kichi's that I'd gone to. The staff was very attentive to us (though a bit too much), unlike the other branches. We were served a complimentary portion of beef when we started. We did not have to wait for ages for our requests to be carried out. Dessert was amazing. 10/10 would come again to this branch.

D've Buffet Chay is a charming vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of Hai Ba Trung district. Guests can savor delicious vegetarian cuisine made from fresh vegetables while enjoying a pure and delicate space with gentle meditation music. The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and stylish decoration, making it an ideal place to enjoy tasty vegetarian dishes with plenty of options.
Delicious vegetarian food. I like bun rieu the best. Must try. Staffs are very friendly. Love it. At the end of the day, The leftover food will be donated to the poor.

They have very delicious food options and only veg options, which is a bit hard to find here. They have less options relatively but whatever they have are delicious.
Rajiv K — Google review
I enjoyed various dishes, but found that the selection was less impressive than other veg buffets. I arrived shortly after opening, yet several dishes were cool. For 125k, it sits in the middle on price. The soup was quite good, there was a good mix of boiled vs fried foods, and there was banana bread which was tasty. Good overall.
Philip S — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars! I can’t say enough good things about D’ve Buffett. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with warm, attentive service that never missed a beat. The food was absolutely fantastic — every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and constantly replenished, so it always felt like I was getting it right out of the kitchen. What really impressed me was the balance between variety and quality. Buffets often sacrifice one for the other, but here, both were outstanding. Every station looked immaculate, and the team clearly takes pride in presentation and taste. Service was truly top notch. Plates were cleared quickly, drinks were always refilled without asking, and the staff carried themselves with genuine friendliness. It’s rare to find a buffet that feels both casual and premium at the same time — but D’ve Buffett has mastered it. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll never feel rushed, always have something delicious to try, and be treated like a valued guest, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family.

Only Vegetarian. Taste was good. Went for lunch - 125000 VND per person and a decent spread. Maybe the dessert menu can be expanded. Highly recommend this place if you like vegetarian food. I would go back again.
Sridhar P — Google review
Food - quite nice, not too sweet and not too salty, a combination of Western style and Eastern style cuisine. Limited selection, 12 main dishes with 2 types of salad and a noodle station. Price - 125,000 VND buffet, a bit high for the amount of food choices. Seatings - plenty but too hot during winter because they do not turn on the AC nor open the windows for ventilation. Strong lingering smell as they cook on the top floor.
Serith — Google review
This place is a little bit like Veggies Castle or Vegito but slightly better for food quality and higher price. We went there for Sunday lunch 125K/pax. Packed with people but they filled up foods quite fast. Staffs are nice and helpful.

The view is fabulous. Perfect for romantic dates and the service is great too. We’ve been here 3 times, one is for our romantic date and the other two is just to chill, drink and enjoy the view. Price wise? I don’t know. It was my partner who always handle the bill 😆

The location is perfect if you go to the rooftop bar outside (and dont forget to ask the staff to prepare a fan fot you in case it’s too hot). The food was average, price was reasonable. And the staff were excellent - especially Ms. Thuong who took care of our table today.

The rooftop bar is really peaceful and a great escape from the chaos of the city at night. However the drink prices are high, and to top it off when we went to pay we found out that they didn't even include VAT and service charge (we've been in Vietnam for weeks now and haven't encountered this before), so was an annoying shock when we paid.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Trang Tien Boulevard, Cafe Lautrec is a charming brasserie-style restaurant that invites guests to indulge in both a la carte and buffet dining options throughout the day. Inspired by the famous 19th-century French painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, this venue boasts an operatic ambiance that enhances your dining experience. Surrounded by elegant French architecture, the atmosphere at Cafe Lautrec is refreshingly cool and inviting.
We stayed at the MGallery hotel in a suite, so included in our room was two free drinks and a wonderful tapas plate each night for happy hour at the bar! Cafe Lautrec and Le Fee Verte provide wonderful ambiance, fantastic service, and delicious food. In addition to happy hour (the tapas platter even changed nightly), we had dinner at the restaurant each night and everything was wonderful! Fresh mussels, great fish n chips, yummy bahn mi, etc. And be sure to get the Satine menu for local fare! Minh and Sun are the best waiters; took such great care of us! I

The saddest vegetarian dish I've had in a while. The presentation was good, the atmosphere was nice and staff were helpful too but my god, I couldn't finish my food. And I was someone who grew up in a no wasting food culture. What I ordered was supposed to be a version of the ratatouille but it ended up tasting like a soggy piles of veggies with some greasy spongy patty. The rest of my family (non vegan) think that the soups and steaks were decent but the burger was mid too. Very disappointed with an experience that was supposed to be fancy.
Vo H — Google review
Beside the cool concept of Opera and cute menu design, the rest is quite disappointing. Big portion of food but the taste is below average. Also the steak is not worth it, I leave most untouched. They need to get better chef 😭

Capella Hanoi is a luxurious 1920s-style hotel in Hanoi, offering top-notch amenities and services. The hotel boasts two restaurants, two bars, a spa, and an indoor pool. Guests can enjoy dining in an opera house dressing room and witness a nightly performance by a diva dancing to 'Diamonds Are Forever.' Each room is uniquely designed after a starlet of the roaring 20s.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Capella Hanoi, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm and professional service. Every detail was attended to with care and consistency, reflecting the high standards one would expect from a world-class hotel. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. The attention to small but meaningful details truly stood out. One particular feature I appreciated immensely was the automatic toilet with a self-opening and closing lid – such a thoughtful and hygienic addition that added to the overall sense of luxury and convenience. As someone who follows a vegetarian lifestyle, I chose to dine at Backstage for dinner. While the vegetarian menu was somewhat limited, the staff went out of their way to accommodate my preferences. They were attentive, thoughtful, and made sure I had a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the food, although not overly diverse, was well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, Capella Hanoi delivers not just in aesthetics but in the quality of service, comfort, and personal touches. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a refined and memorable stay in Hanoi – whether for leisure or business. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Hanoi

Capella Hanoi stole my heart. I left with tears in my eyes after the most unforgettable birthday: a surprise suite upgrade, breathtaking decorations, and a cake that carried all the warmth of their care. Capella is pure magic, without a doubt the finest 5-star hotel I have ever stayed at. Every detail, from the stunning design to the impeccable service, exudes beauty and refinement. Among the many wonderful moments, one stands out in particular: Ruby, who made my evening at the speakeasy bar absolutely incredible. Her warmth, professionalism, and unique charm turned a simple night out into an unforgettable experience. Capella is more than just a hotel...it is a world of elegance, artistry, and enchantment. A true masterpiece that sets a new standard in luxury hospitality. Thanks a lot for everything 🩷

We often sit at Capella to enjoy afternoon tea, a romantic setting with gentle music that we truly appreciate. The staff here never fail to surprise me with their hospitality and warmth. Thank you, Nhi, for recommending the Carmen tea, it has become one of our favorites and almost a must have for every afternoon tea. We also really appreciated her thoughtful recommendations on the hotel’s restaurants. This will always be one of my favorite spots, and I will certainly come back many more times

Hoa Do was exceptional. I have truly never had a better facial, which was a combination of the Vietnamese facial and gua sha. The facial technique was excellent, uplifting, and so relaxing. I have never experienced such an effective facial that felt good and intentional. The spa is beautiful and no detail has gone unnoticed. It’s a stunning atmosphere. Everything was so indulgent and perfect. Thank you!!!
Crystal R — Google review
Our stay at the Capella was nothing short of fantastic. The price tag is more than the rest but the service and quality of everything in the hotel more than makes up for it. The staff pay attention to all of the details, and make you feel like Capella is a home away from home. We went to the space twice, and loved the massage and body scrub. At the spa, Tudoi and Sunny were fantastic. I highly recommend.

Capella Hanoi was the best hotel I stayed at in Hanoi. The service was exceptional, and the concierge team went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and seamless. While it’s definitely on the pricier side for what you get, it stands out as the best luxury option in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a refined and personalized experience in Hanoi.

Capella Hanoi is stunning with some of the most unique rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Each one feels like a piece of art, full of character and thoughtful details that make the stay memorable. Also, The Hudson Room was a real highlight. A beautiful space with a cosy yet elegant vibe, perfect for cocktails and dinner. Service throughout the hotel was warm and attentive, making the whole experience feel special. Will definitely return when I visit Hanoi.

Absolutely a five-star experience! We stayed in a Junior Suite – spacious, stylish, and with an incredibly comfortable bed. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing could be improved. The evening piano performance with complimentary drinks and canapés was delightful. Staff were very friendly and attentive, with the team at The Hudson Rooms especially welcoming. Breakfast at Backstage was unforgettable – generous, diverse, and simply outstanding. Capella Hanoi is a hotel I would definitely love to return to.

Hải Sản Seafood 68 Restaurant in Hanoi's Old Quarter is a popular spot known for its fresh seafood dishes made to order. The restaurant offers both individual meals and seafood platters for sharing, and it tends to fill up quickly during dinner hours. Despite limited English spoken by the friendly staff, visitors love the alfresco dining experience and the availability of Bia Hoi, a locally brewed fresh beer.
We tried the clams and oysters — they were incredibly fresh and juicy. Highly recommended! Personally, I felt the prices were a bit higher compared to local stalls, but the quality and freshness made it well worth it, especially as a tourist. We especially loved the fried onions and even asked the stall where they got them from — they kindly shared the shop’s location. The service was very friendly, and we’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Hanoi.

Khanh was very helpful and the food was excellent. The fried calamari was excellent. We also had fried chicken and nem chua qua, all of which tasted great! The bia hoi was tasty and inexpensive. The bbq oysters were fabulous. The front row seat for Hanoi madness was as good as it gets, especially during the national holiday.

The snails and clams with spicy sauce are just out of this world! The grilled squid was perfectly cooked. The green sauce is magic. We also ordered some fried rice and veggies - both are very good too. Came home really stuffed, and happy.

Great place for the cheapest Bia Hoi that we could find. Right at the corner of a block, but a little away from Beer Street, so it's not too annoyingly crowded. The food and options were all great and the beer was flowing (no hangover or other regrets the next day). Service was really quick and friendly.

The crab was excellent, although at VND517,000 (NZ$33, US$20 - sold by weight) was on the pricier side. The seafood noodles VND55,000 (NZ$3.5, US$2) were disappointing due to the discrepancy between the picture and as described by the server (only half a prawn, cut in two, a couple of pieces of squid and two other small pieces of seafood. Better value and tastier options available nearby. Staff were very friendly and it’s a lively spot to people watch in the old quarter

To be avoided! What could have been an enjoyable evening was ruined by unsupervised children running thru the restaurant screaming. In addition they were either playing with the buffet food they could reach or eating directly from the trays. It wasn't one family's children causing the disturbance rather several children from different tables. The children also seemed to think it a game to touch the "tay" people and run away screaming. A concern expressed to management was answered with "all children are like that." The washroom (one shared) was dirty and smelled strongly of urine. The food was average.

Why did I never know this place? The taste is good, the service is good and the ambiance is even better. Price: buffet about 500k++ not including VAT and service price - which is not that bad. Overall 5/5 for everything. I will come back.

I think this place easily deserves the best chinese food in hanoi. I have been here for 4 days, eaten at various places including bigger brand hotel than daewoo. Seafood are all not fresh, you get strange feeling after taste. Ngan Din did everything correctly, although not the best but matches your higher end average taste. Their siewmai is good, good wokhey from the horfun. Also got creative with this brinjal looking pastry, inside was mentaiko and cheese. Service was impeccable, i was about to tip the waitress who served me an entire hour whole heartedly but left to serve others when it got busier, but she was nowhere to be seen. They were very attentive, keeps tab on your table and ask about your well being. Certainly highly reccomended, buffet price was 428k dong, ala carte is quite expensive.

We were served by Nyugen Thi Hiền who was incredibly gracious and accommodating of our endless requests. We highly recommend this restaurant for classic, tasty Chinese for fast and efficient service

(Translated by Google) It is said to be the best Hong Kong restaurant in Hanoi. Hanoi Silver Dining Restaurant is on the second floor of Daewoo Hotel and Lotte Building is across the road. The signature crispy duck is delicious! The all-you-can-eat at the port at noon costs 400,000-450,000 VND per person. The CP value is high and the food quality is great! If you don’t have time to come at noon, it’s more expensive to order a la carte in the evening, but after eating, cross the street and turn left, walk a short distance, and when you see a Japanese restaurant building, turn left and you’ll find the entrance to Hanoi Japan Street, the famous Japanese street! ! Ramen, izakaya, yakiniku restaurant, Japanese massage parlor, talking bar... It makes people feel like they are in Japan. From time to time, you can see some Japanese people in white shirts and suit pants holding a portable leather briefcase in their left hand. You can tell that they are Japanese at a glance. When you come out of the izakaya, or when you are about to enter, you will be shouted at by the girls on the roadside soliciting customers from time to time. The voices are getting more and more beautiful as the night goes by. Due to the scale of FB, I will not post photos! Please imagine for yourself~~~🤪 (Original)

Nestled in the vibrant Dong Da district, Pullman Hanoi is an upscale hotel that perfectly blends modern comfort with a touch of sophistication. This stylish establishment features spacious rooms adorned with contemporary amenities, making it ideal for both corporate travelers and leisure seekers. Guests can indulge in a variety of culinary delights at the hotel's refined restaurant or unwind at the tapas bar after a long day. The outdoor pool and well-equipped 24-hour gym provide excellent options for relaxation and fitness enthusiasts alike.
I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Hanoi and truly appreciated how accommodating and considerate the staff were throughout my visit. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service during my stay, everything exceeded expectations. The team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, helping with early check-in requests. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering both comfort and functionality. The location is also ideal—close to key attractions but still peaceful enough to relax after a day out.
Xylemar B — Google review
PRO: The hotel environment is fantastic, beautiful aesthetics, air conditioning, clean rooms and copious amounts of bottled water provided. The pool is great with towels provided and a pillow menu is on offer with all pillows available. Reception staff were great including the concierge staff who organized a tour for me. CONS: The walls are thin so you can hear talking and the TV in the room next to you so if you are a light sleeper, be warned. Hotel staff did not assist me with bags when I arrived and I had to carry them up the stairs by myself (there is no ramp). Ordering from the front bar is hassle, I was told there was a 30 minute wait for an uncooked bagel and smoked salmon despite the place being empty and item being a finger food.

Nice hotel and excellent restaurant. Service staff was nice. My deluxe king room was large but looked basic. Bathroom is on the small size. Also the front exterior of the hotel needs upgrading.
Rajesh P — Google review
Location is great but other than that it wasn't a great experience. The property is dated, and the room has a musty smell. The staff members are polite but they may need some extra training with check out procedures, billing etc. They have 1 restaurant with a limited breakfast spread.
Meera I — Google review
Every one that works here is dedicated to their work and it shows in the level of hospitality we received. The hotel is not in the old quarter and you will need to meet any tours you have arranged in the old quarter. But it doesn't take long to get to the old quarter and the peaceful location makes up for it.

Restaurant
The tranquil and luxurious vegetarian restaurant, Nhà hàng Chay Vị Lai, provides a beautiful space for customers to visit. The place has an elegant villa inside with a delicate interior, which provides a unique fairyland-like feel. The menu features both buffet-style dining as well as ordering options, and the restaurant offers an exquisite selection of high-class vegetarian food.
The restaurant has been newly renovated with an awesome new look and really unique, and experiential ambience. There's a water fountain flowing down from the upper floors, providing the serene sounds of water flowing on the background. Awesome vegetarian food, serves a spread which I've rarely seen anywhere else. It's one of the top 3 vegetarian and vegan place to visit! The taste was great, the presentation better! Must come if you're a vegetarian or vegan! I've increased my ratings from 4 stars to 5 🌟!
Stanley L — Google review
My friend insisted on this restaurant whilst we were vacationing in Vietnam. This place falls in Hanoi Old quarter which is like a tourist hub. The place is absolutely quaint and appears to be renovated. Serving only vegetarian and vegan dishes. Being 3 of us we ordered quite a few dishes, but unfortunately the taste wasn't that appealing. The presentation is very good but portions are quite small and when it comes to taste it's marginally OK. The team out there is courteous and polite. Language definitely is a barrier when it comes to explaining the requirements.
Punit S — Google review
A well-known vegetarian restaurant popular with foreign visitors. The décor is unique, with different themes in each area. The food is decent, service is attentive, and while the prices are a bit high for the local market, they are reasonable for tourists.
Khanh D — Google review
Ambience was great, effort was put in for the design. Same goes for the food how it was presented. However the taste of the food is very subjective. A wide choice of selection.
Dearon A — Google review
Same as last review. It's like a theme park inside - if you wanna sit like a goddess on a lotus table & dine inside a Fraggle Rock Cave for the IG pix, do it. Food was ok, 2/3 dishes were dry tasteless but well presented. Drink lavender juice was nice. Servers were lovely. Me&An is better for vegetarian dishes..

Bui L — Google review
The restaurant is located in city center of the Hanoi near to Cuba embassy. At the entrance you will be welcome by violinist and way to the dinning area is a paradise with ponds fill with fishes, foggy and idols of lord Buddha. They are three dining areas: outdoor, indoor and first floor with eye catching decorations. The hospitality was good and presentation of the cuisine was excellent. The taste of the food was good but it comes with little high price tags. The restaurant serves vegetarian and vegan food. The restaurant has clean and well managed dinning area and has rest room.
Mohd K — Google review
The vegetarian buffet is 250k per pax. The food presentation is also pretty neat. Overall, it is a pleasant experience. However, it gets a tad noisy during my visit, which was lunch hour. So I guess it can’t be helped. A violinist was also performing at the entrance of the restaurant. Shall visit again.

SET Buffet is a spacious and beautifully designed restaurant located on the 6th floor of the NHS Center. With a capacity for 250 guests, it offers both public and private areas suitable for various events. The restaurant provides a wide range of seafood, local and western cuisine, as well as an extensive selection of desserts. While the service is efficient, it can get noisy during peak hours.
It's ok, too crowded and noisy.
Tuấn L — Google review
This restaurant offers a wide variety of seafood selections, as well as local and western cuisine, and an extensive range of desserts. It's the perfect spot to gather with friends and family for a delicious buffet meal. The service is prompt and efficient. However, the downside is that when the restaurant gets crowded in the evening, the noise level can become quite high, which can detract from the overall ambiance. Despite this, the price of 400,000 per person is a fantastic value for the quality and variety of food on offer. If you haven't visited this restaurant before, it's definitely worth trying at least once.

Ming Restaurant is a renowned Chinese restaurant in Hanoi, located in the Pan Pacific Hotel. The restaurant recently introduced a new a la carte menu led by their new Chinese Chef Ooi Kar Kim, featuring upgraded recipes and traditional ingredients for an authentic dining experience. With its open and luxurious space, Ming Restaurant offers an elegant atmosphere to enjoy their incredible dim sum dishes and special menu.
Delicious food, sophisticated, with a rather unique taste, and beautifully presented, top-notch. The wine was also very enjoyable. It was a very interesting evening. The Phélan Ségur wine dinner was excellent. It's nice to meet everyone once in a while and have fun chatting across continents.
Ngoc L — Google review
The food was amazing and the service wonderful. Anna and Trang were courteous, quick to refill drinks, and enjoyable to chat with! There was a wedding party at the same time as our dinner but we still received excellent attention and the food was hot.
Katie B — Google review
Old school luxury feel, food wasnt the best but staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs. There were only 6 tables when i came for lunch, they set an array of desserts , roast for you to pick yourself. Egg tart is not bird nest egg tart as depicted but cheese egg tart, however its very good. Their charsiew bao is good too, i thnk personally out of a few in Hanoi i tasted easily the better one. I think menu is quite extensive as compared to others like hanoi hotel, daewoo hotel. But its reasonably priced and affordable
Kl Z — Google review
If you’re looking for high-quality Chinese food in Hanoi, Ming is a great choice. The restaurant is beautiful and peaceful. The food was excellent, especially the dim sum and the roast duck. Staff were professional and made great recommendations. It’s on the pricier side, but worth it for the ambiance, service, and flavors.
Thu V — Google review
I've never been to a buffet dimsum restaurant where i can barely take photo of so few dishes on the table at a time, because this place takes forever for the food to be served and the place is not to busy. Food is okay but not as I expected it would be owing to the price. Some of the staff is not really 5 star hotel standard

Ming restaurant is located at second floor of Pan Pacific hotel Hanoi. This restaurant when you just move your first step into it, you will totally feel the elegant and luxury atmosphere. I believe that is what the restaurant wants to offer to you. As the matter of fact, it really is, and you feel relax in it. The food that this restaurant provide is amazing. It almost try to combine everything in Vietnam that you can imagine. It includes Chinese Hong Kong style Dinsum, Peking roast duck, Japanese sushi and sashimi, Vietnamese beef/chicken noodle, western appetizer and salads. This restaurant can give you the global food style. However, the HongKong style Dinsum may have more space to be improved.
