I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since they moved from Crowne Plaza. I went for a Sunday lunch thali. The entrance is stunning, and the ambiance is beautiful, keeping the fully rooted South Indian heritage with a modern aesthetic. The service here is top-notch, better than almost anywhere else I’ve been. However, my experience was let down by the food. It was extremely average, even Sangeetha, Geetham, and Bhavyam serve better-tasting food. I recently visited Visesham before this place, and that set a high bar for me. The food was served cold many times, and I had to ask them to replace it several times to get it hot. The only thing that stood out on the menu was the banana dosa and the mix fruit ice cream (mango, banana, and custard apple, if I’m not mistaken). I would suggest Visesham and Avartana for an elevated dining experience in South Indian cuisine.

It was a great luxury fine dining experience, their signature Thali was good in taste too. However, they can plan the meal better. Since they bring out everything on the plate in one go, it becomes so cold & inedible. They can perhaps train the staff to bring the food course by course upon request so it can be hot & fresh to consume. The newer staff can be a bit more cordial too.

Authentic south indian food. Calm and relaxing ambience. Live music by musicians rendering famous tamil songs. Many foreigners visit this place for south indian food due to less crowd and relaxing atmosphere. They change menus quite often. Seen kadainrha keerai first time among the many restaurants we have been to. Desert were absolute clasic. Payasam was very original and tasty. Mukkani ice cream (3 fruits mango, banana, jack fruit) was a never before ice cream flavour and extremely good too.

A very small pastry shop and easily accessible the pastries were good and fresh but no place to sit and eat the shop feels very congested.. the person working there was very polite and professional too!!

If you see them running any offers on Cakes, STAY AWAY., Those are really OLD cakes. Definitely not worth it for nothing... I was totally disappointed. I brought a Butterscotch Cake., I know this is their strategy to do clearance sales. But I didn't expect them to go extremes to sell off really Old ones. The cake was literally hard and brittle.. Will I recommend this brand in future... Earlier I was passionately doing it., Now it's a NO.,

Had a very bad experience.. bought one kg chocolate truffle for h daughter’s 9 month’s celebration.. the cake was super dry inside without any cream or moist in between .. They had only decorated the cake with cream on top to attract and cheat customers . Thank you for an awful experience never visiting this place again

Quality is now improving significantly. Food is better. Serving food made days ago. Cakes were horrible. Not worth it anymore. Day #1 Bad coffee. Bad butterscotch cake Day #2 Bad doughnuts. Day #3 Quiche was smelling funny. Quality has gone down the drain. Now going farther away to get good coffee and puff/doughnuts

We had eaten breakfast at Saravana Bhavan Vadapalani.it was good. We ate mini diffen with mini coffee. They only introduced mini breakfast 30 years before . Now lots of hotels owner followed these style of service.it has very spacious car parking and rest rooms. But I don’t see which has it.

I recently visited the Saravana Bhavan branch in Vadapalani, and I regretted going there. The service was very poor. They took our order only after 15 minutes and that too, only after we called the waiter and told him our order. We initially ordered podi idly and special dosa. After 10 minutes, the waiter came back and said that podi idly was not available, and asked us to change our order. So, we ordered normal idly instead. The idly they served was of very poor quality , found coconut shell, and the dosa didn’t taste good either. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Decent place. The mini tiffine was okayish ish. Vada was old and cold. Dosa wasn't too great. Only the chutney was fine.. The coffee too surprisingly wasn't good at all. Meh meh experience on the whole.

We had a family lunch at The Living Room in Anna Nagar and really enjoyed the experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for a family outing. The buffet had a good variety of dishes and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The table service was attentive and courteous, which made our visit even better. Overall, a great place to spend time with family and enjoy a good meal.

Went here for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. The place is tastefully decorated, with a great vibe and impeccable service. The cocktails were delish — the bartender even made us custom vodka drinks. Of the dishes we tried, I personally enjoyed the the loaded nachos and shrimp wrapped in semolina (similar to what’s used in baklava) — it was my first time trying that, and it was quite unique. The mini chicken parottas were also a hit. On the downside, the pasta dishes (both veg and chicken) were meh — wouldn’t order those again. Overall, it’s definitely a spot worth checking out for drinks, appetizers, and a chill atmosphere. Shoutout to our main waiter, Kabilan, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive, especially considering our group had varied tastes and personalities. 😊

Visited The Living Room for family lunch... This is a typical restobar atmosphere and seating arrangement. Family with small kids may not find it comfortable but it's spacious. Lighting was little dull probably due to the bar atmosphere. We ordered Basil chicken, Coin parotta with chicken roast, Mutton Nalli soup, Kongu Mutton Biryani, Veg Fajitha, and Red sauce pasta.... Muton soup had right amount of pepper and a juicy mutton.Basil Chicken was very tender and juicy. Coin Parotta had a coconut oil taste with flavoured roasted chicken. Biryani had a nice aroma and was very well cooked with tender Mutton pieces. Veg Fajitha was the only average item. Pasta had a typical tomato sauce flavor. We finished with a tasty Tiramisu. Kiran was very prompt and attentive. Food was served quick and hot. Valet parking is available and is quick given the crowded locality. Overall this is a great place for dining with friends and family

The Living Room is a pub located in Anna Nagar. I remember this place as my friend and her husband went a few months ago. When I was searching for a place near to our accommodation, this was the first one that popped up. Called up just to ensure they are open. While traveling to The Living Room, we booked a table through Swiggy and got 10% on the bill. When we reached the place it was about 50% occupied and by the time we left 2 hours later, it was totally full. The music is awesome, food is delicious, beverages are refreshing, service is quick, the staff are extremely friendly and the ambiance takes you to a different place. Never knew Chennai had so many pubs and I must say, this was an amazing one! Kiran was our server. He had a smile on his face while talking to us, answered our doubts as we were unsure what to order and served our items quickly and efficiently. Stalin is another name to be mentioned. He was the one who greeted us when we entered and also took time to speak to us before we left. What we ordered: Iced Tea, Original Oettinger Beer, Mexican Nachos Fully Loaded, Olive and Basil Paniyaram and Virgin Mojito. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits Chennai or lives in Chennai, if they want to relax with a drink and enjoy a few snacks and chill out for a few hours.

Never choose this places for a starter on VR Chennai , quality of this restaurant has come down even in an month . We happen to be this restaurant ,when this was launched during june 2018 and it was good . We again visited by yesterday had a same wrap with paneer and chicken tikka . It was worst I believe they had old stock or freezed item been cooked and we had food poison and stomach upset completely. Totally waste of money & no hygenic at all.

Ordered a paneer burrito and rice bowl. The burrito was surprisingly yummy. The rice bowl was okay but filling. This place has one of the best burritos in town and the customer service is good.

The food court is large and can hold good number of people. The restaurants provide good quality food. It costs Rs 500-600 for two people.

One of the busiest shop in the lunch time. Prices are ok. Moderate taste.

Taste is good and consisten also the quality of the food, especially items like the Chicken Bucket, Zinger Burger, Meal Box, and Hot Wings. The ambiance is also noted as clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable spot for dining. Service should be improved as its take long time to wait in queue. Also sometime the chicken is not hot. During Wednesdays we need to wait for more than 1 hour to get the food. The price is also little high for single person. But if we go as group then we can order buckets which is worth the money.

Overall it's a good place to have a good food. Only one thing felt me bad. Asking for reviews and asking to add review on Google is good. But telling to do so is not a good idea. They should know the difference between asking and telling to do things. Hope next time it will be done ✅.

Ordered take away Wednesday special 399 pack after waiting for more than half an hour got the item. After reaching home noticed only 5strips of boneless chicken strips 2 strips missing. Tried calling the customer service but the number is not working

Very worst service experience at this KFC outlet. Staffs are totally careless and show zero respect towards customers. When we asked for help, they acted like we were disturbing them. No proper response, and they were behaving very worst. Also, the place was not clean, and no one was attending the tables. This is not what we expect from a brand like KFC. Total waste of money and time. Highly disappointed. Please train your staff to treat customers with basic manners and professionalism. All kfc are worst nowadays.

I have always loved the food here, no offence with it.. I am still at the restaurant haven't left the place too.. But feel like having a very bad experience now… we reached here by 5.30 and started ordering food, its 6.56 now.. We had a couple of friends just joining us… and when we tried ordering food, we are being told that the kitchen is closed, but paralelly there are people coming in and they are being offered the menu card.. I do not understand the math here!!! Else if the space is gonna be used for something else, some Private dining etc, we could have very clearly told the the rest a is closed when we tried coming in at 5.30!!! Genuinely did not like The attitude of the floor manager this time.. We are still here at the space, but feel like we are asked to vacate the space!!!

We planned for family dinner at this spot. Food was very average, we ordered fish and chips, butter garlic prawn, chicken skewers, soups and veg fried rice. Quality can be improved much better for the price. Service was good.

For starters, we ordered beef strips. The flavor was great, but they were very chewy. Then we ordered shepherd's pie, which was good. The Thai prawn noodles were also good, but nothing special they tasted like regular noodles. The New York steak was good, especially the creamy sauce, and the steak was nicely medium rare. Dessert was a bit disappointing because we ordered shahi tukda, but the rabdi was missing, making it taste like bread halwa.

I would like mention about their ambience neat and clean! The food is decent! Lots of butter in all the food we have ordered. Thai fried has lot of oil. I recommend their fried rice.

Located on busy streets of Sowcarpet. No place to take your 4 wheeler. 2 wheeler will be ok-ish. Parking will be another challenge. Only two menu : Podi Uthappam and Podi Idly. Open kitchen and should eat in streets only. No table or any hygeine over the place.

Mini Podi and plain idly, unbelievably delicious mint chutney and onion chutney, hot sizzling small sized Podi uthappam soaked in ghee. Street food, starts from 5.45 pm to 11.30 pm in the night. Always crowded and still you will be well attended.

Ghee uthappam and podi idly are the only two items in the menu yet those are unqiue and the shop is famous . Mini Idli tossed in podi and ghee, ghe uthappam with tomato chutney and green chutney. Try both. Per plate costs 60 and worth it . The aroma of ghee around their place 😋 will visit again and again. Could add sambar to the menu.

Seena Bhai Tiffin Centre is a true street food gem! The podi idly and cheese dosa are absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. The ghee adds a rich taste, and the variety of chutneys—green, red, and white—are all equally mouthwatering. The standing-and-eating experience adds to its charm, making it a must-try spot for food lovers.

This is the 1st time we visited the Seena Bhai tiffen center . The place was over crowded , it took nearly 15 min to get the Podi Dosai and idly. . taste was Awesome 🥰🥰😋 . Ghee Podi idly were great . Overall we satisfied . VFM.

The shawarma is good. Grill chicken is ok... overcooked and dry. Fried rice is good too. Nothing too great but it it budget priced, so worth the money. Atmosphere is definitely a weak point, too dull, and no place to move around. Entrance looks posh though.

I recently visited this place after several years and ordered Chicken Fried Rice and Alfaham ½. The taste was pathetic and totally disappointed with the food. An aggressive pricing is acceptable for the restaurant located in a posh area but paying for a crappy food is not okay. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place anyone. No proper spices, no salt, no kick in the food items. I was upset that how the quality and taste degraded after these many years. It's a big no for me. My money is totally wasted.

I visited this place once during Ramzan and again recently. To my surprise, a few items are still available even after Ramzan. I indulged myself in basically whatever I could get my hands on! I had a pudding, shahi roll, shashlik, chicken cutlet, chicken goli kebab, chicken crispy, hot garlic chicken cheese steak, chicken samosa, Arabian roll, beef nuggets, and beef satay. I really loved and enjoyed both the crispy and soft snack items, as well as the desserts that were available at Hatimys 🤩🤩

I had been longing to visit Hatimys for a long time, a restaurant renowned for its specialization in Bohri cuisine. Located within a 250-meter walk from Mannady metro, Hatimys opens its doors only in the evenings. With a compact and neat ambiance, it can accommodate around 20 people. I ordered Hatimys' signature dishes, including the Hatimys special tandoori chicken, Crispy chicken, Irani full leg, and Malai tikka. Every bite was a revelation, as the chicken was incredibly fresh and juicy. The unique in-house sauces set these dishes apart, enhancing the flavors and adding a distinct touch to each preparation. The Malai tikka and special tandoori chicken were absolute standouts. While the masala in the crispy chicken was flavorful, I wasn't a fan of the outer layer. However, finding parking nearby can be a challenge, although the Mannady metro parking is a convenient alternative. They also serve Iftar snacks during the holy month of Ramzan Overall, Hatimys has firmly established itself as one of my favorite restaurants. Its exquisite Bohri cuisine, combined with the cozy ambiance and reasonable prices, make it a must-visit culinary destination.

Ambience was ok but quality and taste of food was excellent. We have ordered 75% of items from the menu and not even a single item to complain about. All items were unique and they have customized all chicken items with their in-house sauces which makes it more unique and very tasty. Every chicken item has some special mayonnaise kind of sauce on top shows their passion to food and the importance they give for every item in their menu. Finally to dessert it was outstanding, pudding with in-house Mango sauce on top I swear I haven't ate anything like that before it was the best way to finish of with the desert.

One of the budget friendly restaurant at mannady with great ambience. You can experience all kinds of special iftar snacks even anytime now. We ordered crispy chicken, Malai Panneer Tikka, chicken cheese steak, Irani tandoor leg, Parotta and butter chicken. Taste was too excellent. The meat served was fresh and juicy. Service was quick. Overall had a amazing time and highly recommended.

If you are looking for a late night dine-in spot in anna nagar, then you should definitely visit the Mama shop. We tried their signature recipes and I totally fell in love with them. We tried the following items from their menu: Chicken fried rice Chicken maggi goreng Chicken 555 Szh chicken fried rice Rose milk I loved everything we tried except the rose milk which could have been better. I can’t wait to visit this place again. Thanks for your great service and experience.

I ordered a mojito bucket and what I got is A cup of mojito which is spilled all over the package. Worst delivery. It almost took 2 hours for the restraunt to prepare and deliver. No proper response. Made me wait for 2 hours and gave me a incorrect order. Food is not hygiene. I don't recommend at all.

This standalone restaurant is located off a side street on 1st Street, Shanthi Colony, Anna Nagar. You can find enough parking space adjacent to the restaurant. It is located on the 1st floor. We arrived at 7 PM and to our dismay were informed that they open quite late and stay open till 3 A.M which is a big help for people with late hunger pangs. The seating is on High stools and the table height is commiserate with the height of the stools. It has an open kitchen and you can see your food being prepared while you wait. You have to place your order first at the cash counter and as and when your food is ready they deliver to your table. We wanted to order some seafood items but sadly they were unavailable that night and we had to satisfy ourselves with chicken and egg dishes. They have a 1 page menu and ordered Chicken 555 which is boneless strips of chicken sauteed with curry leaves and quite spicy, Reshmi Chicken Kabab which was again boneless pieces of chicken coated with a egg white topping and grilled on coals. The chicken was quite dry and the flavour had not permeated the meat and was tasteless as was the egg white covering. The Spanish Omelette was the star of the evening with pieces of omelette stir fried with bell peppers and onions. Falaffel Shawarma was OK. The Szhezwan chicken fried rice was good in a typical way. We also tried the Veg Maggi Goreng which was a bit spicy with addition of Malaysian spices. The chicken club sandwich had a fried egg with chicken and Mayo was pretty good and I washed the food down with Rose Milk which was served in glass bottles. They serve the food on wicker baskets with wooden disposable cutlery which is eco friendly and if you are a fan of communal eating this is the place to be because they don't give you plates.

One of the best restaurants in chennai that I have been to. After about 40 visits over 7 years, I am writing this review. Almost every dish is tasty and cooked to perfection. No dish will disappoint. The cuisine is continental. No specific parking. But we can usually find a spot on the road to park the car. Busy on weekend sometimes. Literally have nothing to criticize abt this cafe. Everything was too good. Especially the lousiana pasta and the loaded fries had us smacking our lips every second. So if you're looking for some good flavourful food this is the spot !!

Cafe H a cute place with great ambience and comfortable seating located in anna nagar near thirumangalam. They have wide range of menu like pastas, burger, pastries, juices, pizza etc. Each menu is excellent and unique in their own way.Have been visiting here regularly and everytime the menu satisfy us. The staffs are friendly and courteous. Parking is available outside the cafe and you can order from food delivery application too. A friendly cafe in anna nagar for hangouts & meetings.

I went there for a weekend with my friend, the ambience is nice food cost is reasonable for a cafe located at anna nagar. Nice place to spend time with your friends/gf/bf.

My recommendations: Korean Cheese Bun and Hit Nashville Chicken burger. I travel 15 kms just to eat this at least twice a month.

We were looking for a good place to have a get together and my friend suggested this place which we went for it. It was located on a service road before the petrol pump ⛽ near Thirumangalam junction. Ambiance was simple and decent. Nothing extraordinary though. We got table without any waiting time being a weekday. The menu is crisp and decent. We ordered Chilli Cheese 🧀 Garlic 🧄 toast, Tandoori Veg Burger 🍔, Bombay Veg Sandwich 🥪, Pesto pasta 🍝 and Red velvet milkshake. Food ordered came in reasonable time. Taste-wise everything is excellent except for Pasta which is average. Cheese 🧀 in garlic toast was simply awesome. The filling in sandwich 🥪 and burger 🍔 are great 👍 Pasta was creamier but salt 🧂 level needs to be fine tuned. Red velvet milkshake is again extraordinary with apt level of sweetness. We can feel the quality of the ingredients 😜 Service was excellent. They were attentive throughout. Pricing is okay considering the location, quantity and quality. Overall satisfying experience 👍

Uncooked burgers are served.. un cooked Grill chicken not upto the standard.. Very bad experience in Meat and eat - Thiruvottiyur. Waste of money using old oil which smell was horrible can't even eat the burger we bought.

Worst ever fast food outlet. Nobody pls go there to have fast food. Cheating. They just function like roadside shops. Staff are poor in hospitality. Very worst taste and costly. Never order pizzas frm here even if u r actually eating fem here after seeing this review. I hav added the photo of a pizza they served. It was smaller than a regular idly. But in picture they show as if its a giant one. Waste of money and time

The ambience and the service was pretty good but they take lot of time to prepare the orders.and of course they serve processed foods straight from the freezer to the plate! Taste was average and price were not upto the taste. Overall can prefer for one time!

Giving review sitting inside the restaurant.....it was Friday evening we were having a dine in....A family of 4 arrived at 9.40 to the restaurant and the waiter said the shop was closed (@9.40 pm)...those kids felt very disappointed....though the family requested to provide dine in for them....the grl in the billing said it's a Friday night so we are closing early.Later the family went...seems like the owner is not at the restaurant so the workers are taking advantage of it.felt bad for those kids though....also the workers were fighting in the kitchen....this is so new for me since I'm being a regular customer....the ambience was very noisy..i would like to escalate this issue...also if possible check the CCTV footage on this particular day

Food quality is okay - okay type only and definitely not great and comparable with other leading brands outlets. First time experienced a burger without lettuces and mayonnaise!!! 👎 Fries are really good and must try here 👍 Service is very poor - On Sunday evening, there were around 3 customers including us! There were 3-4 staffs overall in this outlet. It’s an 100% self service outlet with a tag referring “good food takes time” 😜 but even for an average burger too, we have waited for 30mins from order placement 😒 Ambience and space are really good. More seating capacity and maintained clean. Washroom is available too. Overall okay but needs more room for food quality and service improvements.

Service is very poor. Food preparation takes ample of time nearly 45 mins with single burger, despite being the only customer. The food taste is also average. Only Pro is amazing ambience.

The food is above average, and the burgers are worth the price. However, the rest of the menu is quite underwhelming. Unfortunately, the service is below par and very slow. I received a message about an offer, but they were reluctant to honor it. The message clearly stated "any burger," with no mention of restrictions, yet when I visited in person, I was given only one option to choose from. Even then, they didn’t seem pleased about offering it. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

In my swiggy order, I ordered 2 * Krunchy Chicken Burgers Combo. So we should have received 4 burgers, but only received 2. What a cheap way of cheating customers.

Today ordered veg burger with mint and lime mojito via swiggy but got only burger not Mojito, so I tried to call the shop but they didn't even mention the phone number anywhere! I paid for both but received only one item Don't fool the customers like this, you are not giving the food for free , we pay for that. We are getting cheated even though we pay Worst service!

Taste : Good Quality: Good Quantity: average Overall it was a good lunch. Must try ( nattu kozhi rasam ) it was the best. Please try to increase the quantity on non-veg in thali’s.

Food was below average not worth to try,(mutton biryani thali: mutton biryani,raita,brinjal masala, bread halwa, omelet, masala balls) normally if we buy biryani , brinjal masala, raita is mandatory after giving omelet and masala balls and calling Thali won’t make sense, Pros: restaurant atmosphere was cozy.

The food was amazing! Taste was too good! Will definitely visit again. Cheese stuffed broccoli, saiva kola urundai, achari panneer tikka with stuffed cheese are a must try! Meen kuzhambi thali had an exceptionally delicious fish curry. The waiting time to get the table was specifically exhausting. It's better to book ahead.

Tried all meals, manga meen kuzhumbhu thalai was the best. Only a la carte, not much rush. Rest all meals and I would leave to your choice. Biryani was okay.

We ordered mansatti meen kuzhambu thali and mutton nalli kuzhambu thali....taste wise awesome 👍 premium quality.....in thali they gave rice, mutton kuzhambu,mutton fry ,sambar, keerai,rasam,appalam, payasam ,curd ,butter milk,boiled egg ,thuvayal and in fish thali fish gravy and fish fry rest all dishes same for both thalis.... each and every dish the taste is yummy and I liked their payasam so much...... Ambience is very nice, it is located on the first floor of southern crest hotel....easy to find out as it is located in prime location....and I need to definitely mention about their hospitality... everyone treated us so good...which I cannot find in other hotels recently...they made us welcome....we really enjoyed our dine in there....will definitely go there again to try their other thalis....."Thali by Palette " is definitely a must try place.

As the name says, Good Quality food is served at best affordable price. At 1st visit we had good experience and consuming Naan, which was ultimate soft and tearable with tasting Butter chicken Masala. Fish finger and other fries where oil-less and hot while served, so it was much yummy and finger licking.. But during the 2nd visit the fish which we ordered smelled awful and we left it over, which I never do during my dinning. Hospitality and ambience is awesome for family visit. I wished for 4/5 but due to the 2nd visit experienced i have rated it as 3/5.

tried here in this restraunt called quality food (only the name is like this) utter waste...tasted there prawn🍤 biriyani, chicken fried rice🐔🍳🍚 and chicken wings dry fry.... 1st the prawn biriyani was utter waste... It didn't even taste good.. Best part is in prawn biriyani u will try to get bones... The prawns u should see.. We don't knoe weather its prawns also... Sooo rubbery and bland in taste.. 2nd the chicken fried rice was only thing u can eat there... That too can't have expectations for good👍.. 3rd the legendary chicken wings dry fry... Which was really bad... It didn't even have salt... It was like tasteless bland...just chicken... No sour, no chilly, no salt nothing... When we told the waiter regarding it... In background the cooking master is like.. This is how it comes nu... He is shouting from there (is this the way u treat?) The costumer... Pls make sure the business runs... Properly... With all these kind of people u guys might shut shop soon...

Tandoori Chicken from this place is one of the best I've had. My friends and I frequent here. It is budget-friendly. Small seating area. One personal drawback is that they only have soft drinks as available options for drinks.

Today i ate plain naan and paneer butter masala. Worst recipe taste ever I had in my life. Maida for plain naan doesn't cook properly and paneer butter masala was full of spicy. my mind be like: edu panner masala or kaara kolambu uh. Don't ever try here

OVERRATED, OVERPRICED, UNDERCOOKED, DECENT TASTE I went in with lot of hopes with a false advertising given by Instagram influencers. It's a roadside shop, with decent priced food, the quality of the food will be compromised since it's a roadside shop. The chicken was semi cooked and uneatable to some extent (I'm a kinda person who eats till the bone), when I complained to the cook, she started to SCOLD ME and started to WHINING about it The burger was horrible with a sweet taste with a and cabbage was used instead of lettuce

Today, I visited a small coffee shop called Matram and I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. The coffee tasted okay, but the real star of the show was the coconut poli. It was simply amazing and definitely worth trying if you visit this shop. The prices were reasonable and the parking facility was a plus. Overall, I had a good experience at Matram and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice coffee shop to relax and enjoy a delicious treat.
