Tuscana Pizzeria at Wallace Garden in Chennai is a classic wood-fired pizzeria that specializes in traditional Mediterranean cuisine. The extensive menu includes mouth-watering thin-crust pizzas, tasty pastas, delicious bruschetta, and refreshing panna cotta for dessert. In addition to the authentic thin-crust pizzas with traditional toppings like prosciutto and mozzarella, they also offer creative options such as paneer tikka pizza.
Loved the place, people and everything. Staffs and chef were kind enough to let me in to prepare the pizza of my own! That was so exciting! Pizza was wood fired one with thin Crest and veggies and cheese overloaded. Was able to taste the hands on yummy pizzaaa😋😋😋❤❤❤ Pasta, starters, soup bowls, risotto had numerous varieties from vegan to non veg. Chefs will recommend the best dishes and their signature ones to start with! Why wait? Go and enjoy guys!

Not the best pizza/pasta i have had, BUT unique for its taste. Worth once in a while, especially with the prices and quantity.
Priyanga P — Google review
The chicken tikka pizza was amazing. Though it was expensive, i feel it was worth. Had a good feeling after eating. The garlic bread was great too.
Nandha P — Google review
One of the okish hotels in Khader Nawaz Khan road circle. Pros: 1. Nearly perfect pizza I tried chicken tikka pizza 2. The Panna Cotta just delicious. 3. The extra star is clearly for the pizza and panna cotta Cons: 1. Cleanliness and interiors are major put offs 2. Service should be little better 3. Finding parking is a task for four wheeler
Shatz — Google review
Fine dining restaurant for Italian pizza, thin crust pizza is some what near to Italy's but far different from regular at other conventional pizza stores. Other dish like pasta also there in menu. Tiramisu cake is nice one to try.

I hate pasta due to bad experience few yrs back and stopped eating. But love the pasta here. It was so heavenly in mouth. Very soft and amazing sauces. I would surely live to eat her regularly

Pricey and tasty Italian food. The ambience is not great. The taste is pretty good. I liked the lasagne very much.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Mylapore, Chennai, Kaidi Kitchen is a vegetarian restaurant that takes dining to an entirely new level with its quirky jail-themed decor. This unique eatery invites guests into a playful world where the ambiance mimics a prison setting, complete with staff dressed as wardens and inmates. The experience is not just about food; it’s about indulging in a fun-filled atmosphere perfect for sharing moments with friends and family.
Everything was good. Heard about this place for a long time, but first time visited the restaurant and its really good. Atmosphere is creative and unique. To match with environment Staff were dressed in “Prison” uniforms. Food is also great in taste and the price is reasonable. Overall its good and pleasant experience. I would say one thing to improve - washroom needs maintenance.
Arun — Google review
Except for the prison setting, I didn’t experience anything else that explains the extremely high priced menu items. The dishes aren’t that great and the service is meh - what you’d find in any typical local “bhavan” in chennai. Dishes tried - corn starter, a Mexican sizzler , some bbq smoky starter combo.
Ganesh S — Google review
Kaidi kitchen is a theme restaurant with prison like setup. They haven't changed the outfit for many yrs i guess still the old setup. I went on a calm day n i was the only guest but the service is not great. Every time I have to call them to serve or to get the order or to request for water. Food is good. Need more improvement in service. Book through the zomato or Swiggy dine out app so that you will get some discounts. You have valet parking.
Manikandan R — Google review
Excellent ambience and tasty food! Must try items: cheese fondue, baby corn manchurian, cream of mushroom soup, mexican lasagna
Padmini R — Google review
We went on a busy weekend but still got a table. First off we ordered Manchow soup and Baby corn manchurian and both of them tasted fine but it was spicy for us after a point. Veg biryani was ok. Really loved the lasagna which was creamy and rich and baked rasagulla at the end. They ran out of some items at the time which we were looking forward to eat
Nisha S — Google review
Been to the.place for a North Indian cuisine and we ordered sweet corn soup which was very bad and i would add it in must avoid list. Then we ordered a crispy baby corn starter which was okay but tasted so sweet. Then we went for a main course of butter naan and mixed veg curry which was again added with sugar and it was sweet in taste. The theme of the restaurant is awesome and the staff were so friendly and attentive but in the end the purpose was not solved. Maybe for a different ambience you can visit this place but don't expect anything which is of your choice. Maybe the dishes which we ordered might be wrong or the day when we visited the food would have not been prepared properly. Who knows. Our day was spoilt.
Gowtham A — Google review
Fabulous experience. Every item we ordered was its own unique character whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, each well-made and the overall ambience is uniquely invigorating being themed on an Indian jail. The mocktails were great too. Having tried out food at different top-end restaurants, we can certainly attest Kaidi Kitchen is an outstanding and singular experience in Chennai City. Also relatively friendlier on the pocket. Highly recommend!
Ashwin T — Google review
Great restaurant experience as of now. The food here tastes very good. All the dishes are a bit better than other restaurants out there that i have visited. Great Ambiance with lite songs and music. A place for a good get together and gathering with friends and family. Friendly staff and good service by them. The best dishes among what i had was the Mexican Lasagna 💗 and Veg Manchow Soup which tasted amazingly good! Highly recommended for everyone!. Price wise, we can say with these qualities and food is worth the price we pay for. If we reserve via Dineout app and use it for payment we will get a discount of 10% so try using it.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Azzuri Bay is a charming restaurant located in Chennai, offering stunning views of the Bay of Bengal and its islands. The establishment provides a diverse menu featuring delectable seafood, succulent steaks, and authentic Indian cuisine. Situated in Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, the rooftop setting allows guests to enjoy a romantic dining experience with breathtaking vistas of the Adyar estuary merging into the sea and lush green surroundings.
They're professional chefs who served continental items in original taste of that country. I surprised to see that it's very affordable compared to other continental restaurants. We tried laksha soup, honey glazed lotus stem, Burmese noodles, milk cake. All are top notch in taste. It's like a hidden gem.
Narayan K — Google review
Reached the place late than we planned, only realised that this place closes by 3pm later. Orange juice was perfect with only fresh oranges and enough sugar, the best OJ I ever had. Butter fried prawns were awesome in taste and spiciness. The chicken rolls was good but a bit dry the dipping saw they provided was niche spicy hot sauce and mango saw was nice too. Couldn’t order any main as it was almost 2:45. The waiter nudged us for the last order and we went for the dessert instead of main. We ordered 2 panacotta one with mango and other with pomegranate. I think they used grape jelly instead of pomegranate. But it was too good to not eat, we cleaned it up in a jiffy
Sivanand P — Google review
Azzuri Bay is a fantastic Italian restaurant with delicious food that impressed me from start to finish. The crab wontons were a standout – absolutely loved them! While the prices might be a bit on the higher side, the service is top-notch and truly exceptional. They offer romantic candlelight dinners and even have a special surprise room with beautiful flower and candle decorations, perfect for special occasions. It's a bit pricier at around ₹5,000 with food included, but it's worth it for the experience. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience!
Jenifer D — Google review
Azzuri Bay is a nice rooftop restaurant situated in Gandhi Nagar. The speciality of the place has to be its huge menu. Mediterranean, Thai, Italian, oriental - everything is there. It might be a bit intimidating to look at the menu at first but all are in their specific categories Have ate here a couple of times, and among the many dishes I’ve tried, a few have been stand outs The lamb chops - were delicious and tender and smothered in a tasty herby Italian sauce with olives. The mango sauce fish - it was a bit overpowered with the mango sauce but fish was tender and the dish was tasty Chicken momos - they were pretty good. But the mango dip they came along is a real banger Pizza - pizza was the first dish I’ve tried here, back when I came here as a really young kid. The taste is still the same. Their pizza has the unique touch to it. Pumpkin soup - comes with corn and it’s enriched with pepper. Soothes your throat really Let downs? I remember the ravioli I once ordered in tomato sauce came in a thick blanket of Alfredo. And I can’t handle that much dairy. And the Thai starters platter. The name was fascinating. But it was just three of the most basic oriental fried starters And also The bathroom being located on a different floor only accessible by a very trippy staircase, is one big problem. Hope they look into it. But it’s overall a good place. Good food, options and service. Ambience is obviously a plus too

Great Ambiance and delicious food🥰🥰 Went for my first wedding anniversary❤️ and my wife enjoyed a lot 😁
Abdul B — Google review
This restaurant is located at adayar Road, I followed Google maps, it directed right, but the whole street was like residential area opposite to a vast ground. You have to take elevator to go to the restaurant. I went with my friends for lunch, especially it would be better if you book your table. We went to rooftop, it had a beautiful view up their, peaceful and calm. The ambience of the restaurant was so neat and warm welcoming. We ordered pizza, lasagna , wanton, chicken kabab kind, paneer fry. The dishes which were served was so beautifully garnished and taste was also really good, but everything took so much time to reach our table. We really loved the taste of the food which we had, appreciate for the plate serving. We ordered a veg lasagna it alone tasted odd compared to other dishes, not happy with that dish. Don't over order food and waste it.
Nivaas V — Google review
Food quality and taste wise is good but has lost its charm in terms of interiors. No complaints in the air conditioning department either. The staffs are prompt and their menu is diverse. A good time for families here for sure. Ample amount of parking as well.
Pranta N — Google review
Guys this restaurant has the best Thai food here! You’ll love the ambience and the service. Order was delivered quick and the taste was amazingly nice. My personal favourite is their Mangolian crispy panner, hot and sour soup.. and the lasagna was subtle … their dips were all awesome.

Basil With a Twist is a stylish European restaurant in Chennai that caters to both vegetarians and meat eaters. It offers an impressive 9-course meal with a live counter featuring Italian cuisine, making it a top choice for a romantic date night. The restaurant is renowned for its authentic European dishes with an Asian twist, served in a candle-lit dining room perfect for special occasions.
This cafe is close to Valluvarkottam and has a silent and clean neighbourhood. The parking space is enough to accommodate 2-3 cars, and few bikes at a time. The ambience is pleasing and is spacious enough to easily accommodate 50 persons at a time. This cafe offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. And most of them are quite new fused dishes that are hard to find in many other cafes in this city. The time taken to serve the dishes was quite slow, but it is perfect when we either go as a couple (Date) or for a business meeting. The taste of most of the dishes were close to perfect and the quantity seemed good for the rates offered. I would highly recommend trying their soups and starters. A perfect cafe in the city for a date.

food is tasty here. Good restaurant for a lunchout with our loved one. Very quiet place with cosy ambience, with peaceful lamp lights. Today climate is chill ☔🌦️,rainy outside so it was very nice experience here watching out from the window. Had a soup, Pizza and a Chicken appetizer that made us full today's lunch. Can visit during weekends. Parking is also available. Service is also good and helpful here. Take a Lunchout and Enjoy!

Eclectic, quaint and cozy!  That's Basil With a Twist for you, located at Habibullah Road Chennai. Have been a frequent here for quite some time now with no regrets. The ambience is quiet and laid back.  The seating is comfortable with ample space. The service is passable though you need to wait a while to get their attention.  The pricing is a tad bit high, though. Minestrone Soup, Grilled Fish with Pepper sauce and the Frittata were swell.

The best place to eat STEAK💥 I have been looking for a best steak in chennai and came across this restaurant which has lot of positive reviews in google comments and so we give it a try. This is my first steak in my life and i have order tenderloin steak(Medium cooked) with mashed potatoes and it was the besttt. I loved the combo and it tastes as I expected. And also we tried lasagna and some peri peri chicken sides, it was great too. Lasagna was creamy and cheesy, it was more than enough for one. 5/5 ⭐️ for foods and service. Will definitely try again in future🫶.
Thoufiq A — Google review
We had a wonderful dining experience at Basil With a Twist. The ambiance was serene and refined, offering a true fine dining atmosphere. The time we visited was particularly pleasant — quiet and undisturbed, with just the soft hum of background music accompanying our conversation and meal. It felt like the space was entirely ours to enjoy. The food was exceptional. We started with two types of soup, both rich and creamy with just the right blend of spices and herbs — a comforting and flavorful beginning to our meal. For the main course, we chose a thin-crust pizza which was equally delightful, perfectly baked and generously topped, striking a great balance between texture and taste. The menu offers an impressive variety, ranging from Asian to Continental cuisines, catering to diverse palates. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and tres leches. The tiramisu had a bold coffee flavor, which some may find slightly overpowering, but the tres leches was pure indulgence — light, moist, and full of flavor. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and this place has certainly earned a spot on our list of favorites. Kudos and heartfelt thanks to the Basil With a Twist team for their warm hospitality and exceptional culinary experience.
Majeedahmed F — Google review
Basil with a twist is on a calm street with a beautiful ambience and a good Italian menu. They have many vegeterian options right from soup to maincourse. Roasted pumpkin soup and veg green Thai curry is a must, but that can be served with the sticky jasmine rice to be more authentic. Portions can be a little more generous. Only one toilet that had a constant queue.

Superb taste. I loved pumpkin soup. Lasagna is average. Overall a very good experience. Very relaxed ambience

The pastas are really good here at a reasonable price point. I liked how the pasta was cooked, the sauce and the seasoning. It was not overloaded with cheese and cream, it was very well balanced.

Pantry D'or is a sprawling cafe and bakehouse known for its global cuisine and relaxed atmosphere. It's a must-visit for tea, pastry, and pasta enthusiasts, offering an extensive selection of beverages and delectable dishes. The cafe is particularly popular among Mexican and American food aficionados. Their menu includes delicious Indian appetizers like desi fried paneer and gunpowder chicken, as well as gourmet celestial teas.
Delicious Italian cuisine! The creamy beef pasta, hot chocolate, and butter croissant were all standout dishes. The service was also great. Although the pancakes weren't available during my visit, which was a bit disappointing. The interior design is awesome, with a lovely pastel color scheme that extends to the plates and coffee mugs - a really nice touch! Overall, a great spot for Italian food lovers.

A Mixed Experience — Great Food, But Staff Needs Clarity I recently spent a couple of hours at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food — the food champion was truly excellent, and the ambiance was inviting enough to make me want to stay longer. It's clearly a well-run kitchen, and for that, they deserve full credit. However, I did run into an unexpected experience with the staff that left me a little disappointed. After finishing my meal and settling the bill, I was politely asked not to use my laptop. While I respect any house rules, I looked around and only found a notice that said "no interviews or business meetings allowed" — there was no mention of laptops. When I asked the staff for clarification, their responses were a bit inconsistent. First, I was told laptops weren’t allowed at all. Then they said laptops were allowed if I continued to order food. I wasn’t trying to stretch my stay without being a customer — I had already placed a full order and paid. I just needed a few minutes to wrap up some work quietly. I understand the need for table turnover, especially in busy spots, but clearer communication and a little flexibility can go a long way in customer satisfaction. Many of us are happy to follow the rules — we just need them to be clearly stated and consistently upheld. Overall, I’d still recommend this place for the food, but I hope the management takes a moment to brief the staff on how to handle such situations more gracefully. Sometimes, a 10-minute window for a customer to finish up can be the difference between a good experience and an uncomfortable one.

I recently visited Pantry D'or in Anna Nagar for brunch and had a great experience. I tried the English breakfast, hot chocolate, and southern fried chicken – all of which were really tasty and satisfying. The English breakfast was well-balanced and nicely presented. The southern fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and had just the right amount of spice. The hot chocolate was rich and comforting – perfect for a relaxed brunch mood. The ambience was nice and the staff were polite and attentive. Overall, a lovely spot for a weekend brunch or catch-up with friends. Will definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

It's a good place if you plan on having breakfast on weekends with your family. It's been a long time since and went there for lunch with colleagues. We ordered various items, from starters to mains and a few beverages. The starters, specially their peri-peri hot and crunchy chicken was great. The Dijon salad, the Poutine and Queso fries were okay. The chicken lasagna tasted good but was presented differently, with the lasagna waddling in tomato sauce. The Mocha was tasty. Service was good. Ambiance is neat and clean. As soon as you enter, you can see a pantry counter towards the left, laden with cakes and pastries. A few cars can park. However, their prices are steep.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Totally disappointed! Ordered the Texas Fried Chicken Loaded and it was honestly the worst. Hardly any chicken — just 3–4 small pieces — the rest was all fries. Even the fries were dry and tasteless, not even a bit of sauce added. It didn’t look or taste like a loaded dish at all. Really disappointed with the quality and portion. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Visited many times...thai based restaurant, good food and ambience. Must try their mixed noodles 👌 But I was not happy with their beverages.. ordered a thick coffee milkshake but was overpriced and below average. And no parking space.

A small and cute cafe for your dining. The place is cozy with great ambience. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good,a lil bit slow maybe because we went at the peak hours. The food was great. Cream of chicken soup:It didn’t justify the name “creamy” as it wasn’t creamy at all but the flavours were on point. Would give it 3.5/5 Alfredo chicken pasta:The pasta was little but undercooked and again the sauce wasn’t creamy enough but the taste was really good 3.5/5 Dim sums in chilly oil and soy sauce: It was the star. The dimsums were filled with chicken overloaded and the sauce was the perfect accompaniment to it. 5/5 Chicken parmigiana: the chicken was tender juicy and really cheesy. The side of rice was undercooked and was but weird in taste.4/5 Mojito: they were classic

Combos & price worth side in Anna Nagar! Shack Café is such a peaceful and vibrant spot — perfect for both late-night cravings and relaxed hangouts. Loved their multi-cuisine menu, especially the Asian combos and the live grill skewers 🔥 The Chilli Garlic Fried Rice with Black Pepper Chicken + Mojito combo was a total hit, and the pizza & burger combos are super value for money 😍. The café has a nice indoor setup and a cute pet-friendly outdoor area too 🌿. Service not quick- food take 10-15mins to serve, but the staff were friendly.

On point. Vibe? Unmatched.😭🤌🏻 Drop by Café Shack and thank me later and hey, follow for more pocket-friendly food finds around the city! 👋

Restaurant with quiet and Serene filled ambience. Both indoor and outdoor seatings available. We ordered a Chicken bowl with noodles. It's so fresh and very very good in taste. Combo's also available but in particular timings. Appreciable service. There's a soft and calm background music with light, slow tempo to create a peaceful atmosphere.

I kept seeing this mysterious ‘ Pep Asia’ on Zomato and always wondered where it was in Anna Nagar turns out, it’s just Cafe Shaack listed under a different name! Mystery solved only when the food landed at my door. Now, to the food. I ordered the Wonton Veg Soup or let’s say, mostly veg soup. While it was packed with vegetables, the wontons themselves were MIA. For ₹320, the portion felt a little underwhelming. Maybe the dine-in version is more generous can’t say for sure. But redemption came in the form of the Egg Fried Rice and Stir-Fried Black Pepper Chicken Sauce, a combination I absolutely swear by. The flavours hit the mark, bold and satisfying So here’s the final take, Great on taste and quality, but the quantity could definitely be better for the price.

If you enjoy dinner with a live soundtrack of people screaming two inches from your ear, this place is perfection. The staff must have PhDs in “strategic ignoring,” because not once did they think of asking the noisy crowd to tone it down. Ambience? More like an amusement park without rides. Food might have been good, but sadly my taste buds were too busy dodging the sound waves.

Kabab Corner is a popular mughlai restaurant in Chennai. They serve various kababs, and their beef murtaba is especially popular. The food is affordable and Ying quickly become one of our favourites for Indian food in the city.
Kabab Corner on Greems Road, Chennai, is a must-visit for kebab lovers! Known for their flavorful and succulent kebabs, they serve a variety of options, with the **Malai Sheek Kabab** and **Sheek Phal** being standout favorites. The kebabs are perfectly spiced, tender, and pair wonderfully with their green chutney and creamy mayonnaiseand the service is prompt. If you're craving delicious, authentic kebabs, this place won't disappoint! Highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience.

This one of the good kebab shops in Chennai but their taste is not consistent. Their beef tawa is the best. Chicken bbq is also tasty. Seek kebab of both chicken and beef not upto the mark, can be more tasty Roti is good They have very small place so eating there is not so good but if you want to eat then try eating there Price wise it’s little bit more Overall a decent place

A Cozy Evening Spot with Decent Eats We recently dined at this little gem, and while it's a small place, it offers good value for the price. It’s a standing-room-only joint, which adds to its charm if you're looking for a quick, casual meal. The menu has a variety of options, including beef, chicken, and more. We sampled the seekh omelette, malai kebab, seekh roll, tawa curry, and rumali roti. Each dish was satisfying—not extraordinary, but definitely enjoyable. Note: This spot is only open in the evenings. Thanks

After seeing reels Don’t have huge expectations, you will regret. Average taste and average in quality. I have tried almost most of the items from the menu, All are not so special you can consider this shop if you don’t have any alternatives. Taste wise normal but quantity wise great they will keep almost 110g chicken inside the tikka roll. Recommended to buy Achari chicken tikka roll Avoid Malai chicken tikka, it will look like tempting you but really there is no taste. Overall Experience: Quantity: 3.6/5 Quantity: 4.2/5 Taste: 4/5 Cost: 3.8/5 (Can reduce the cost little bit) Infrastructure: 3.3/5 Service: 3.5/5 Parking only available for 2-wheelers, No car parking available. Had some kebab cravings so tried this place. Food was decent tried their combo tikka &chicken fry with their soft rumali rotis. Taste was nice but nothing like very special, service was quick and good, chicken fry was a tawa gravy kind, it was very salty. After having the food thirst was like killing me.

Great place for tasty and juicy kababs at good prices. Been visiting this place for years and can say their taste, quality and happy service has remained the same! My all time favourite- combo chicken tikka, malai tikka, chicken and veal omlette, beef murthaba and fresh romali bread. Highly recommended to eat it immediately there or in your vehicle, so as to enjoy its flavour as it’s hot. All the dishes are made to order, freshly grilled and no colours used.
Salman M — Google review
I've been there twice and loved the freshness of the meat and the overall taste. However, I found their best-seller, the Special Malai Tikka, quite bland for my taste. I did enjoy their Achari Tikka and Tandoori, though. Their rolls are good as well. I wouldn't recommend it for a family dine-in as it has no seating or parking space. Overall, it's a good place to try an evening dose of tikkas and rolls.

The restaurant has impressed diners with its innovative approach to Asian cuisine, blending diverse cooking techniques and cultural influences from across Asia with a contemporary twist. Guests have praised the peaceful ambiance, well-organized menu, professional service, and high-quality food. It's been recommended for family gatherings due to its perfect setting for medium-sized events.
This place offers a great dining experience with rich Asian cuisine options and a remarkable drinks menu. There's valet parking option available for guests along with self park options. The staff is well trained and very attentive. Food is prepped attention to detail. If you're into Thai and Malay cuisine, you're in for a delight. What deserves a special mention? They have outdoor and indoor seats and both arr great.

Pa Pa Ya was a great spot with delicious Asian food. Dimsums in Cream Cheese was TOP NOTCH. The sushi and ramen were excellent, especially the flavorful broth. The ambiance was lively, making it a fun place to dine. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the experience!
Trini X — Google review
If you’re a sushi or Asian food lover, Pa Pa Ya is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. The sushi here is on another level—fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. I tried three standouts: the dehydrated spinach sushi, avocado inside-out roll, and the asparagus sushi—each one was absolutely amazing and surprisingly filling for their size. A perfect balance of texture and taste! The ramen, on the other hand, was a bit underwhelming. While the broth was rich and flavorful (definitely the hero of the bowl), the noodles were a bit too thick and the portion size was smaller than expected. Not bad, but not the highlight either. I also gave the cream cheese truffle dumpling a shot—it’s definitely on the heavier side. If you’re not into rich, cheesy bites, you can probably skip this one. That said, the ambiance, presentation, and service were all on point. Overall, Pa Pa Ya is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts and anyone looking to explore bold and modern takes on Asian cuisine.

While some customers have experienced issues with order accuracy, the prompt service is generally praised.
I have known this place for more than 20 years now. They have made changes to their menu during the course of time but the taste has always been good. Be prepared for a minimum wait time of 15 min. They operate separate griddle for veg and non veg.

Just one of my fav OG frankie branches exists just in Besant Nagar. They provide the best OG frankie that we used to have 10-15 years ago and it still gives the same taste ! I love this branch that’s in Besant Nagar. Must try chettinad chicken frankie , butter chicken and chicken tikka . Just the bestttt frankies ever! It would be great if they retain the taste and also give a good atmosphere around so that it’s comfy for the customers to have a good vibe around.

One of the best Frankie's you will ever taste in Chennai , the price is also relatively cheap compared to other kati roll/ Frankie shops . Must visit if you are a Frankie lover and around Besant nagar
Vegaj K — Google review
Tibbs besant nagar has been our favourite spot for years. But the staff who's posted here for the past year or so is the most unpleasant person ever! Earlier there used to be separate staff for veg and non veg. But now only one person is employed, and as strict vegetarians, it is absolutely disgusting to see that he doesn't bother to use gloves or even clean his hands while making veg and non veg at the same time. When we ask him to clean up before making ours, he turns a deaf ear. Had to cancel our order and leave. Now using the adyar branch which is much better. Never visiting this point as long as this staff is around!!

Ambience- Ordered online Pocket friendly- Cheap and good quantity Food- The Frankies are really mouthful and full of flavours. Its customizable. But I did not get extra cheese even though I mentioned in the order and also paid for the same. I also mentioned no onions in the online order but it wasnt read. Chicken Kheema, Buter Chicken and Egg frankie are all good. Service- Prompt but they missed the cheese once and also the onions were added. Rating- 4 as need attention to customers requests.

It is quite costly. But obviously worth it. It would be ready in just 5 minutes of ordering. You could choose to make it less spicy also! The stuffings is just great and would make you addicted to it, as i am!

Disappointed that I haven’t been earlier. Food was really good and stand out to qualify for quality and authentic Chinese flavours. Problem is only the sizes served where it can be consumed by more people so check the size or quantity before ordering . Parking is a problem as it is on Nolambur main road so you have to find a parking on the road which is a very challenging task. I will visit here again for the taste.

We decided to try this place for lunch going by the reviews online and also it being close to the hotel we were staying at. The food was great, taste spot on and portions fairly large. Service was nice with the staff being helpful wherever need in choosing a dish of the menu. Seating is comfortable and ambience is good, being a typical Chinese restaurant ambience.

As a Malaysian in Chennai, would recommend Cascade as the best Chinese rest. The food is closer to the authentic Chinese taste and the portion is bigger too. I’m so happy to get cut green chillies in black soya sauce!Kindly maintain the authenticity❤️
Komalaa K — Google review
It was an awesome experience. Was with my family for an much awaited good Chinese cuisine after a very long time. We have tried Chinese in the past but never had a satisfying experience. Randomly chose this place after lots of speculations and finally landed here that required some convincing. The place has always been known for some remarkable ambience and noteworthy service. It wasn't any different today. Started off with sweet corn chicken soup and crab soup. We were a group of 4 and the one soup served was enough for 4 people. The quantity could satisfy 4 easily, but the amazing thing was the quality was equally excellent. We ordered Thai chili chicken and Phuket fish as starters and both were equally good. The good thing about the food here was that, at most places we get the same flavour for any dish that we eat, but here each dish had its own individual flavour. Then came the chicken fried rice which was very filling and looked appealing. No complaints whatsoever in any dish we ordered. Overall a satisfactory experience. One small request would be to serve the starters after we complete the soup since both the soup and starters arrived at the same time that we had to finish the soup quickly in order to accommodate the starters. Otherwise a great experience and a happy tummy.

Sapthagiri Tiffin Centre in T Nagar is a vegetarian's paradise, offering a delightful culinary experience. Despite its unassuming appearance, this eatery has gained popularity for its delectable dishes such as Chenna Parota, Chilly Idli, and Thakali Dosa. The warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an incredible dining experience. Guests have praised the refreshing tanginess of the curd rice and the satisfying Pongal with Sambar and Chutney.
This restaurant is close to my PG, and it has become my go-to spot on weekends for a cup of coffee with my roommate. Since they don’t have a dine-in option, I’ve ordered food here multiple times and even tried their lunch once. The meals were decent for the price, but what truly stood out was their Chole Poori and breakfast/dinner menu—delicious, affordable, and worth trying! The service is commendable, with the staff checking in regularly despite the place being a bit busy. Over time, it has turned into a regular stop whenever I’m in the area or craving a satisfying meal. Definitely a reliable choice for good food at pocket-friendly prices!

Actually we bought a parcel on Tuesday for 2 three poori but the parcel person mistakenly gave bus 2 two poori. The cost of one poori is 20. We realised the same after we reached home and we called the hotel management and enquired the same. He told us to reclaim the 40 rupees. And next we went he remembered us and gave us two coffee for 40 rupees. The taste is good and well hygenic. Hospitality is great.

Just crossed this place and it was too crowded, had a thought of giving it a try. We ordered podi dosa first ( coz the name board itself says ) but nothing to hype 🤣 It was very regular and taste was okayish , sambar was not hot 🥲 chutneys was usual 🤷🏻‍♂️ Gobi chilli - too much oil and less gobi 🤣🥲 Butter naan and paneer butter masala was really good and worth ❣️ We loved it . Budget friendly place for sure , Also too crowded :) One can try if they are around T Nagar and wanna try some other pocket friendly spot rather than their usual spots 🤷🏻‍♂️🙏🏼

Tried this restaurant yesterday with my kids, nice service and food was ok. I had doubt on the chutney since it tasted funny the waiter confirmed it's a new batch. Only problem is i trusted him and proceeded with the food. Next morning was a disastrous for the entire family. Vomiting , diahorrea and fever for my kids. Me and my wife suffered the same. I'm very positive i never had anything outside except the tiffin yesterday night around 2100 hrs. Hotel management has to make sure they supply fresh batch and recheck when customer complains. This was the first time something like happened after having vegitarian food. Lesson learned never trust any hotel.

If you find yourself in Sowcarpet, make sure to visit Seena Bhai Tiffin Center for a taste of delicious South Indian street food. This popular spot offers a variety of vegetarian delights such as uttapam, idli, podi idli, and dosa. The uthappams are particularly noteworthy for being generously loaded with pure ghee and flavorful podi. Despite its simple setup, the stall is known for its clean and quick service at very affordable prices.
Excellent uttapam 2 pieces for Rs.70. If you are lucky you will get in about 10 mins, else you will see min 20 with empty plates waiting. Ghee is poured and infused in uttapam ... tasting most delucious. Podi mini idly also excellent at same price. Should definitely try it !!!

There is no space to sit and eat, it's like a street food shop with a big crowd of fans. But once u eat from here, surely will come again the next time, that much tasty food. Novelty Tea House is a charming spot in Sowcarpet, Chennai, with a rich history dating back to the 1950s. What started as a small tea stall has now transformed into a vintage restaurant that continues to attract locals and even has a branch inside the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association facility. While they still serve an array of teas, their menu has expanded to include Indian vegetarian cuisine, milkshakes, and ice cream.
OMG, Novelty Chat House was just awesome! Hands down the best place for chaat in Chennai, and totally worth the trip to Sowcarpet. The bhel puri is incredibly delicious, and the badam milk is super tasty. The dahi puri has creamy dahi, and the mango dessert is a must-try—ice cream stuffed inside a real mango, with the mango flesh being so flavorful. An unforgettable experience!
Vamsi K — Google review
Had dahi puri, mini thali, and pav bhaji. Pav bhaji was okay, dahi puri was really good, and thali was pretty decent. However, for the price, the quantities seemed pretty less. They can easily reduce the prices by about 30 bucks. The place is small, but OK. We bought some snacks as well and prices again were a bit high. Service was really bad. Had to wait for about 10 mins to place order and another 20 mins for just the thali which is usually the first to arrive. Had orange shell ice cream. Except the packaging, nothing great.
Gayathri J — Google review
An icon of Chennai synonymous with Pav bhaji and a possible introduction of this dish to Chennai by them. I am sure there are better pav bhaji’s out there now, but this place is quite nostalgic and definitely a must visit atleast once. We ordered the cheese pav bhaji (4/5) with a set of extra Masala pav’s. (4/5) Cheese crust pizza (3/5) was average nothing special. Mojito (1/5) just a strong concentrate of pudina and sugar syrup on soda. Service was quick. (5/5) Ambience (4/5) nostalgic element. Otherwise as per today’s expectations(1/5)
Rohit G — Google review
Tawa Pulao and the rasamalai s a must try here. Absolutely loved it!!! We had cheese pav bhaji but I felt the classic pav bhaji would have been much better as the taste of cheese was dominating. The pav they served was fresh and soft. Pani Puri and the orange ice cream was average.
Bargavi S — Google review
Till now must try their plain idly, hot ghee podi idly, idly vada sambar mix, onion rava dosa, paneer pudina onion dosa, veg tava pulao, paneer tava pulao, veg pizza, cheese crust pizza (pizzas are in desi style), pan ice cream, all the food which are mentioned above is great, and service is also fast at most off the cases.
Vidhuth B — Google review
Amazing menu! The items on the Menu are yummy and unique too. It is a very small place and mostly very crowded in the evenings. You will have to wait long to get seated. The price is slightly on the higher end given the place is too tiny and the waiting time is high.
Jayashree R — Google review
There is nothing better than eating chats in these places. Oh man, how do we describe it. Crowded Street, busy shop and long wait time makes this place more special. To describe about the chats we ate, simply worth it coz there is nothing much that we can say about this place and that adds value to it. #The best!!!! Follow Madrazz_Food_language on insta for more food updates.

Silence among the chaos! The busy streets and crowded with people and this lane has a uniqueness. A decent North Indian eatery with good quality chats with seating arrangements. Cheese Pav baaji which was so plain and simple and feet mild to eat. I can feel the difference between novelty’s and others. A must eat dish over there. A worthy dish. Pani puri was not that great, but it was good. Nothing different, just plain simple puri with pani. Rosemilk shake was thick and sweet. A good dessert I had but it can be shared. Cos the quantity was more. Masala butter milk was a usual thing with crispy fried toppings. Over all a good eatery among that society and I can go again for Pav bhaaji!

Nestled within the luxurious ITC Grand Chola in Guindy, Chennai, Pandan Club stands out as India's first restaurant dedicated to Peranakan cuisine. This culinary gem is the brainchild of Master Chef Sashi Chelliah and offers a delightful fusion of Malay, Chinese, and Indian flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy elegance and vibrant energy, enhanced by lush greenery and soothing music.
Fantastic ambiance, absolutely delicious food, and incredibly hospitable and attentive staffs. I tried to book a table but the google reservation did not work, so i walked in. Their drink 'Rich baba' was perfect to sip on. The food was exquisite to say the least - the chefs belted out great food. Vijay, Vimal were very amazing hosts. Their warm service made the dining experience even more special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. 5 plus stars!!!

Service was excellent. Great ambience. Food and cocktails were hit or miss. Chilly beef was good but had too much soy sauce. Silly chicken was good. Noodles was only ok. And dessert was usual, nothing extraordinary. Hype exceeded experience. Having said that, I may still come back as they have a big menu and it was tough choosing what to eat, definitely want to try the others.
Aishwarya S — Google review
The food was amazing. Must try in veg Crispy lotus stem. Beef was so good literally everything we had was too good. Don’t miss Blue pea rice cake for dessert. Exceptional Service by Vijay. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond. He literally explained each dish with a smile, helping us make informed choices. The ambience was royal and aesthetic

We had gone for an special occasions and Pandan club people knows how to make it right !! Food was brilliant!! Hats off to every staff they took real good care !! To describe this place in two words good hospitality and good food !! A must go place in Chennai !!
Tarun R — Google review
Great service, amazing ambience, cozy place for a good drink and good food, must try is their chilli beef(perfectly slides pieces of beef , cooked perfectly , perfect amount of spice and juicy pieces of soft beef ) , nethili fry(fresh battered to perfection and crispy fried). Service was good and humble ! The only drawback was the crab soup which wasn't as good as expected. Even though the dishes were a little tad on the expensive side, their quantity doesn't disappoint, large portions of food ! Be careful of how much you order :-) Their nasi goreng brings back memories from my travel to south asia ! Authetic as it gets !!! Don't miss it ! Go there for a cozy evening with friends and family for a relaxed drink and good food ! Would I go there again, definitely!! Four stars only because of the soup else a perfect 5 star rating !

Cocktail with pandan flavour good A bit too sweet though Also ordered fried vermicelli (very asian:) good. Ordered dim sum & kueh pie tee too. Must tell them to be less salty for vermicelli. The 5 spice lamb is very good. Very tender. Overall if you want chinese food in chennai, this is quite a good place

Had an excellent experience dining here. Food was delicious and so flavorful. What really added to the whole experience was their quick and attentive service. Best chilli beef I've had till date. Also loved the flat spicy noodles and black pepper squid which was part of the seafood festival menu

Had a wonderful dining experience at Pandan club Restaurant! The food was delicious, especially the Asian & Indian dishes, which were full of authentic flavor. A special thanks to Saravanan, our bearer, who was incredibly polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. Great service and great food, definitely recommend!

Ciclo Cafe, India's pioneering cycling-themed cafe, is a delightful homage to Chennai's rich history as a bicycle manufacturing center and its vibrant community of cycling aficionados. Opened in March 2015, this unique spot serves as a gathering place for cyclists while also offering top-notch services for bike sales and repairs.
Absolutely delicious! The sandwiches were the best we've had on a long time, and the servers were so kind. They brought the food and coffee out quickly and everything was fresh and delicious. My husband got the BLT on a bagel and I got the veggie club on sourdough. Both came with fries. They also had vegan options and ice cream, which unfortunately we didn't try. I would definitely recommend if you are on the ECR and looking for a great place to eat.

I have been to Ciclo Cafe Kotturpuram. The pastas here are good, and their pizzas are also good but not as great as their pasta's. It's fairly expensive, considering the pastas cost around 700 rupees. I have had better pastas at the same price point, but still this place is defenitely one of the best pasta joints in chennai. Their ice cream flavours seem simple, but are extraordinary. This is a place where you can come with your loved one or friend and have excellent pasta, dessert and ice cream over a coversation. This is also one of the authentic italian food experiences in chennai.

I recently visited Ciclo Café and had a wonderful experience. The place maintains excellent hygiene, which immediately gives a sense of comfort and care. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish carrying a perfect balance of taste and freshness. The ambiance is warm and inviting, blending a cozy vibe with a unique café theme that makes it stand out. The staff were attentive, polite, and quick in their service, ensuring everything was taken care of seamlessly. Overall, a perfect spot for both good food and a great atmosphere, highly recommended!
Jeffrey D — Google review
We tried the pizza, penne pasta, lasagna, and chicken bowl – and each dish was satisfying in its own way. The pizza had a nice balance of crisp and chew, the penne was creamy and well-seasoned, and the lasagna was rich, cheesy, and comforting. Surprisingly, the chicken bowl stood out with its healthy yet flavorful profile. The café has a unique cycle-themed ambience that’s cozy and aesthetically pleasing – perfect for casual catchups or solo time. service could be improved. A bit more attentiveness and faster response would really elevate the overall experience. Still, a great spot to unwind with good food and good vibes!

Had steak, burger, fries, and dessert here and everything was absolutely delicious. Even though we went late, service was quick, kind, and very attentive – they even offered us warm water since we weren’t well. The Devil’s Food Cake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Excellent food and great customer service!

Service was great, and atmosphere also was nice and calm. But food is too expensive and it was worth half the price we pay, we ordered chicken lasagna and white pasta ... Chicken lasagna was too less for 600 bucks we paid and white pasta only had cheese and sauce ...nothing else no onion, corn or capsicum and no salt as well. We need to ask salt to add and make it ourselves. Reduce ur prices or increase quality and quantity.

Ciclo cafe uthandi serves as a pit stop for cyclists on the ecr and also for the last minute eat out before the movie at pvr. Service took about 20 mins but otherwise food and interiors were impressive. Spacious seating but loud conversations.

SALT Restaurant has recently undergone a delightful renovation, transforming it into an inviting space perfect for catching up with friends. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot to relax. Their menu features must-try items like the refreshing watermelon and grape juice, alongside their standout chicken biryani that rivals other local options in flavor and authenticity. Regulars rave about the delicious sandwiches and kid-friendly snacks available as well.
Today had visited this SALT Restaurant near my office after they renovated recently. Ambience is too good now, good place to spend chat time with friends. Watermelon & grape juice must try. Now they're serving briyani for lunch. It's different and very yummy. Tastes better than other briyani shops near by. Pocket friendly & best.
