Got a breakfast bowl with spinach, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes. and my friend got a custom bowl! It’s tasted great and was prepared quickly! We dined outside with our poochie and the team brought out some water for him without being asked! So nice of them! :)

Great variety of healthy whole vegan foods! Would have gave five star on service if the cashier would have had a better personality and they would have actually had tofu. It took at least 15 minutes before they had tofu. And that was the only vegan "protein" option. But they had plenty of other veggie options that were sufficient like black beans, sweet potatoes and broccoli which was great. It was unfortunate that the only vegan protein option was not even available. The cook was very kind and explained that was just because they got over the weekend shift having ran out and It took time to marinate, chop and cook. I would give five stars on the food if it was entirely vegan. There was way too much animal in there. ;) *Apparently the owner thinks they "can't get rid of their animal products". What a disappointing response. Of course they can get rid of them! There's over 33,000 vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the US alone. Thousands of these are vegan. You can get rid of the animal products, you just don't care about the animals enough to or the gravely invasive impact animal agriculture has on the environment, communities, and human outcomes concerning health with increased risk of chronic disease for the consumer. If you cared about those things then you would easily make your restaurant entirely vegan and there are countless ways to do that and be better than all of the other restaurants around you. There was a marketing class where they shared a story about Nike sending a researcher to Africa to see if there was a market. When he came back he said there wasn't because there was nobody there wearing shoes where he went. On the flip side though it was an untapped huge market of tremendous potential. It's kind of like is the glass half empty or full. You can get rid of the animal products, you just choose not to care or be creative enough to. There are literally Michelin star restaurants that are vegan.

A very special lady in pink (pictured ☺️) recommended me here to try a smoothie and I just happened to get an acai bowl. Pick dragonfruit ladies n' gentlemen, you won’t be disappointed 💗

Loved everything all around. Ordered a smoothie and a honey chicken bowl. The salad was scrumptious and they didnt skimp on the salad bowl which sometines places like this will do that.

Happy + hale is healthy but it still tastes absolutely delicious!!!!♡ even my picky 9 yo sister thought it was good! Super yummy

Today was my first experience at Happy +Hale. I could not have been more satisfied! The staff was helpful and polite as I tried to navigate the menu. I decided on the Coco Curry bowl with chicken. It was fresh and flavorful with a generous portion. I highly recommend trying this location for vegans, vegetarians, or anyone just wanting to try something new. I will definitely be back! The picture is half way through my meal. It was so good I almost forgot to take the picture😃

Foster's Market is a charming cafe and gourmet food market located at 2694 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd. The cafe offers a variety of freshly made breakfast items, sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods that can be enjoyed on their outdoor patio or lawn. In addition to the dining experience, visitors can explore the attached market offering local gifts such as jams, coffee, toffee, cheese straws, grits, candy, cookbooks and kitchenware.
We called in a pick up order, and got to walk around a bit while we waited. It was crowded, but well worth it! We got a biscuit and it was delicious!! It seems like they have a good system to handle how popular they are. Can’t wait to go back!

Without a doubt, some Of the best food you will eat anywhere. I consider the prices the lowest I've seen for the high quality of food. The deserts/cakes are to die for. The food shop has wonderful selections to take home. If you are near Durham, you have to visit!

Loved bringing my dog here and having a wonderful brunch. I like how they were set up to seat yourself, order upfront and someone will deliver your order. It made for fast service.
Dong Y — Google review
The place was heaving with people when we came in Saturday for late breakfast/brunch, but the ordering situation (at the counter with lots of folks taking orders) made things move along super-quickly. We had my brother and sister-in-law's dog with us and sat outside, where "all animals are welcome." (Hank is kind of an anxious fellow but after a little medication and a treat he settled pretty well -- we were in the section to the right of the front door, down a few steps, which was unoccupied except by us for the majority of our visit.) I ordered the omelette with corn, asparagus, and I don't know what else, but it was massive and SOOOOO good! Wish I had paid attention to the sauce but it made the dish. Came with home fries that were also delicious. SIL had avocado toast, brother had chilaquiles, and both of their plates were spotless when they finished (WITHOUT help from Hank 😉), and we all enjoyed our coffees, one brewed and two fancy. The staff was amazing and friendly, the lines moved quickly, and the atmosphere was fun and congenial. Will definitely be back and bringing more visitors!
Anne M — Google review
Overall really great! I loved the ham egg and cheese biscuit, and my dirty chai latte was amazing. The chai actually tasted like high quality chai. I also had tiramisu and it was great! Everything was maybe a touch pricy so I won’t come here all the time, but I will say the food was worth it if you feel like splurging. LGBT friendly as far as I’m aware, I’m visibly queer and was treated well. Gravel parking lot and mixed terrain floors inside, so if you have physical disabilities navigating the space might be challenging. They do have a ramp into the building. I added some videos of the handicap parking and the parking lot/floors.

Nice cozy place that serves breakfast and lunch. We were in Durham area and looking for a nice local place to support. Foster’s Market definitely matched what we were looking to find. We both ordered sandwiches that were fantastic. Nice size and well made. I ordered the Jammin Turkey Breast Sandwich (very yummy) with just the right amount of spice from the pepper jelly. My wife ordered the Roasted Turkey Breast sandwich, which she really enjoyed. Very nice place to visit with friendly people and plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. If in the area you need to visit.
Hugh M — Google review
Great concept. Sandwich shop and coffee shop in an old farmhouse. Great staff. Food was good and sitting outside was nice, plenty of indoor seating also. Try a slice of pie with your meal
Terry T — Google review
A fun, eclectic restaurant with a deliciously diverse menu that makes you want to come back again and again until you have tasted every item on the menu. You feel like you step back in time as you peruse the old-time candy collection and the ample selection some of the tastiest cakes and pastries on earth. There is a separate coffee counter where you can get an excellent cup of made-to-order coffee just the way you like it. There is indoor and covered and sort of uncovered outdoor seating. It was a perfect day when we went, and we sat on the covered porch and made a memory of a lifetime with the family. I plan to make this an annual family sojourn. I can’t wait to return to this “destination restaurant” in Durham. Highly recommended, be prepared for a great time and delicious meal!

South American restaurant
Luna Rotisserie and Empanadas is a stylish restaurant located on Main Street, offering a fusion of South American and American Southern cuisine. The menu features traditional Latin American dishes made with authentic ingredients, such as patacon pisao and Colombian arepas, alongside nods to Southern favorites like spicy bacon collards and pimento hominy "mac" and cheese.
Delicious chicken with super friendly staff. Loved their Peruvian chicken and pulled chicken. The drinks were meh, but the bartender had fantastic customer service. It is a small restaurant, so it was packed but managed to feel cozy instead of cramped.
Kay — Google review
This time up on the plate was Luna's Restaurant. Highlighted by their sensational Peruvian chicken, "Pollo a la Brasa." This wasn't just any rotisserie chicken; it was a masterclass in flavor—perfectly marinated, incredibly juicy with a delightful smoky char, and wonderfully crisp skin. The accompanying sides of Spicy bacon collards and Black bean coconut rice were inspired choices, and the vibrant Aji Verde and zesty Aji Amarillo sauces elevated every bite to a new level of culinary enjoyment. Don't miss the chance to try one of their expertly crafted Strawberry or Mango Mojitos from the bar. Luna's offers ample indoor and bar seating, along with charming sidewalk options, all within a short walk of public parking. Whether you're seeking a cozy date night or a lively family dinner, Luna's provides an excellent dining experience. Definitely on the next date night out in Durham. Great Job Luna’s

Do NOT sleep on pass up on this hidden gem, tucked in on West Main Street, downtown Durham. Mauro takes the best care of customers seated at the bar, listens to them and makes some of the best recommendations for both dining and drinks. The food is absolutely delicious and plated like it’s a Michelin Star restaurant. The drinks are perfectly crafted and hit the spot. This is a spot where we’ll be sure to pop into anytime we’re in town.
Keith G — Google review
This is exactly the empanada I’ve always wanted!!! I got a chicken and a vegetarian (Yukon gold) empanada with the garlic kale side and every single bite was delicious. We had a reservation, but I think we would have been fine without it. The inside is so cool and relaxing, plus our server, Noah, was super quick and friendly! We will definitely be back, would be a great place to bring out of town guests to explore Durham!
Laura M — Google review
I really enjoyed my meal at Luna's. They offer a very intriguing menu that crosses several types of Latin American cuisine. I ordered the chili-braised pulled brisket, which was cooked to perfection. I also adored the coconut rice and beans. The collard greens were good, but lacking in spice and instead had a very strong apple cider vinegar taste. My only disappointment was the pisco sour which tasted OK, but looked very unappealing. My sister also tried the sangria, which oddly had a ton of club soda in it. We came in on a Thursday evening for dinner, and the place wasn't too crowded. The tables aren't really well suited for groups larger than four, and the seating isn't the most comfortable. Although the service was good and fast, we did run into an issue with being overcharged via the QR code payment process.
Sarah M — Google review
The atmosphere is very soothing. Parking is hard since it is downtown Durham. The food is good with decent portions but there are better prices elsewhere.
Elijah G — Google review
I was exploring downtown Durham and looking for a lunch spot when I came across Luna. I tried two of their excellent cocktails and opted for the pork empanada with two sides. I chose the coconut beans and rice along with the kale slaw. Both were excellent and the rice was perfectly cooked.
Bob G — Google review
I love this place very much! Been eating here since 2020 and I've never been disappointed.... I do hate the prices are so high.. But I will eat here when I want to splurge a little. I also hate when I only want a little something that if I want to order the kids meal, I cannot, unless I order a full entree which defeats the whole purpose. It wasn't always like this but for some reason, things have changed! I still love it. I just don't go here as much!

Thai restaurant
If you're in downtown Durham and craving authentic Thai cuisine, look no further than Thai@Main St. This cozy eatery offers a delightful array of traditional dishes, from zesty papaya salad to creamy curries and flavorful stir-fried noodles. The welcoming atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for those seeking a break from their usual dining routine. With friendly service and quick meal preparation, it's perfect for both casual dinners or when you want to indulge in something different.
The food was fantastic with a beautiful presentation. The fresh rolls were very mid, though. They weren't the worst I've had but nowhere near good ones, so I wouldn't order them again. I loved the number of duck dishes that they had on the menu as well as unique dishes that you never see in what I call an "American" Thai restaurant. If you are looking for authenticity, go here! One very frustrating thing was that our server didn't stay at our table long enough to take our order, and there were only two of us. She brought water to our table and then left. She came back to our table with food menus, and I had to stop her from leaving so that I could order my drink, but she walked away before my daughter could order her drink. When she brought my drink to the table, I had to stop her again so that I could order appetizers and my daughter could order a drink. Basically, it took 5 visits before we actually had our entire order placed. 🫤
LeAnn P — Google review
I had the chance to dine at this restaurant, and I was truly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and clearly made with care. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Even though they seemed to be short-staffed, they did their best to take care of every customer, even during the busy hours. I really appreciated their effort and attention to detail. Highly recommended!
Melanie S — Google review
Fantastic Thai food find, right in the heart of downtown Durham. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner. We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls for starters which were hot, crispy, and delicious. For mains, we got the tried and tested tofu pad Thai and yellow curry and both did not disappoint. Portion sizes are generous and prices are budget friendly. Highly recommend for your Asian food/noodle craving.
Rijul R — Google review
I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a long time, and the food has always been consistently delicious. Today, I tried the special kra Prow soft shell crab and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing!! Perfectly cooked, flavorful. the staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic.

Their Red Curry with chicken and tofu is heavenly! It has the perfect amount of heat and sweet! 😋
Jennifer C — Google review
Thai at Main Street is hands-down one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a great experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. We started with the fresh spring rolls and crispy Thai wings—both were incredible. The main dishes were even better. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced—sweet, tangy, and full of flavor. The green curry had just the right amount of heat and was bursting with fresh vegetables and tender chicken. We also tried the mango sticky rice for dessert—absolutely divine! Everything tasted authentic and freshly made, and the portions were generous. The attention to detail, both in presentation and flavor, truly sets this place apart. Whether you’re a Thai food lover or trying it for the first time, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Dominic — Google review
Loved this place! The pad Thai was amazing and had the perfect flavor, and the crab angel was also delicious, I would recommend this is a great spot to come any day! The lady serving was super kind, the service was also super fast!, as soon as I got there I got seated immediately with a warming welcoming! Thai at Main offers an experience that transcends the typical dining affair, delivering a harmonious blend of authenticity, artistry, and warmth. From the moment you step inside, the inviting aromas of lemongrass, coconut, and chili whisper promises of culinary delight—and the kitchen more than fulfills them. Each dish is a masterclass in balance: the Pad Thai is rich yet delicate, the Green Curry vibrant with depth, and the Tom Yum soup a soulful revelation of spice and citrus. Service is gracious without being intrusive, reflecting the same attention to detail and genuine care found in every plate that leaves the kitchen. Whether you’re seeking a quiet evening of refined flavors or a memorable meal shared with friends, Thai at Main is more than a restaurant—it’s a celebration of Thai cuisine in its most elegant form

Clean and fast service but I ordered chicken krapow is supposed to be ground meat and it is not. The chicken was dry and there was no basil flavor or heat spice in this. I found two basil leaves. I came here specifically for krapow so I will not be returning.

New American restaurant
Farmside Kitchen, located in Durham RTP, offers a casual dining experience with a focus on gluten-free salad bowls made from thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Their signature farm bowls feature savory options like grilled chicken, black beans, fire-roasted corn, avocado, feta cheese, and more. The restaurant provides ample outdoor seating and is a convenient choice for those living or working in the area. Customers can enjoy quick weekday lunches to-go or opt to dine in and hang out at the space.
I ordered a BYOB from DoorDash. This was my first time trying Farmside but have been wanting to try it for a while. I ordered double protein. I loved all the customizations provided and feel very good that I can eat according to my specific diet without compromising on flavors. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I do not like dressing, so without dressing, this is super delicious. Edit: I ordered this 3 times and it was great every time! Here is what I ordered: Black beans, lentils, double grilled chicken, strawberries and apples, kale and romaine, pecans, pumpkin seeds, carrots, Parmesan

I was looking for a place to meet for a business lunch. Saw the high Google reviews and chose this restaurant. It was busy, but the line moved so quickly. We were barely ready with our choices when it was our turn. I ordered the rancher and my business friend ordered a bowl that she created. The food was excellent, the service was quick, the strawberry rosemary lemonade was the best drink I can remember having. Highly recommend.
Monica F — Google review
Stopped in here to give it a try for lunch. Was greatly surprised at how good the salad bowl was. I was able to build my own and get 6 toppings. The setup is like a buffet line and warning it's very busy at lunchtime. But they move you in and out quickly! Cons - customer service is not the best! It's very busy, so their focus is on getting bowls done quickly, with no social connection. The restaurant is filled from wall to wall, so be prepared for that depending on what time you go. Prices are a bit high. It cost me over $15 for a salad because I added avocado. The avocado is a $3 uncharge for a half avocado. Overall, it's a fun place to try and make your own creation. But there wasn't a wow factor. You can get a good salad at First Watch or Panera, too. Would I eat there again? Yes, but mainly because of the convenience and variety of combinations I can do.
Keepsake M — Google review
Stopped into Farmside after picking my daughter up from the airport and was pleasantly surprised by the fresh food and big portions! There’s so many chains in the area and a lot of them don’t offer healthier or vegetarian options, so it’s certainly a great addition. We both did build your own farm bowls and they were great. The inside was a bit loud due to the music, but otherwise great.
Robin R — Google review
Built my own salad; romaine and baby arugula. Cucumbers, red onion, carrots, Parmesan, goat cheese, and the signature grilled chicken. Cilantro lime dressing. The diet cola to drink. They have other options like flavored lemonades and teas. It was excellent quality and they are supplied by local farms. Very decent prices. A great business to support, can’t recommend enough.
Kirky1221 — Google review
I met the owner and she is genuinely a great person. However the last 5 times I have ordered food from them on door dash I have either gotten someone else’s meal or they have literally only put 1 ounce of chicken in my bowl. I am a longtime and I mean longtime customer but this has gotten absolutely pathetic. From someone who has eaten at this place 300-500 times it breaks my heart to have to part ways with this business.
Justin D — Google review
Found this lil gem off Hwy 55 near me and I-40 for work and it’s really good. I always get The GOAT with no cheese, extra tofu and avocado especially after a workout 🏋🏽‍♂️ Starting even getting 2 bowls too. Love this place fr 🫶🏽

The food is absolutely fresh and tastes amazing. I will definitely make another trip—as I live in a food desert with limited healthy options. I got the kale & quinoa and added the chili lime tofu for extra protein

Chopt Creative Salad Co. is a vibrant counter-service restaurant that invites guests to craft their own salads or wraps from an extensive selection of fresh ingredients. One standout option is the Palm Beach salad, featuring grilled chicken, avocado, and a delightful hot honey vinaigrette—all for just 320 calories! Located near popular dining spots like Bartaco and Chipotle Mexican Grill, Chopt has quickly become a local favorite in Chapel Hill.
I had a great experience at Chopt Salad Company! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I like it. But what really stood out was the amazing service I received from one of the workers, Trinity. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful — you could tell she genuinely cared about the customers and her job. It made my visit so much more enjoyable, and I left feeling really taken care of. Shoutout to Trinity for being such a great worker! Chopt is lucky to have her. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ordered delivery. The Uber guy was very nice and prompt and friendly. Unfortunately the food he delivered was less than great. Ordered the warm chicken blissful harvest bowl. I’m two thirds into it and I have had three tiny pieces of chicken. Kept thinking maybe they were buried but you can see in the photo they aren’t there. Basically no chicken. Way less than “blissful” for a $13 salad. Very disappointed.

I generally do eat healthy but I heard good things about this restaurant. I had no idea what to order. Trinity was so helpful in helping me decide what to eat. She customized the tings chicken bowl to my liking. It was so delicious. The Mexican goddess dressing was such a great addition. I was really appreciative of her help. I will be returning soon.

I had such a great experience at Chopt today, all thanks to Jessica! It was my first time, and I wasn’t sure what to get or how things worked, but she was so kind, helpful, and patient the entire time. I’m on a new weight loss journey and trying to be more mindful about what I eat, and Jessica made me feel completely comfortable asking questions and figuring out what would work best for me. She didn’t rush me or make me feel like I was holding up the line—she genuinely seemed happy to help. Great customer service like that makes all the difference. Thank you, Jessica!

Chopt in Chapel Hill is my go-to spot for fresh, delicious salads, and their efficiency and customer service are consistently top-notch. During my last visit, I was especially impressed by a team member named Jessica, who went out of her way to help me choose the perfect salad. She was friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu—she even suggested a custom combination based on what I told her I liked, and it turned out amazing. Despite a busy lunch rush, the line moved quickly, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The Chopt located on fordham boulevard is a great place to bring your friends and family! I came in for lunch with my husband and kids and even with how busy the store was we were in and out very quickly! The quality of the food is not only amazing but it’s always a relief when the people taking care of you greet you and do what they can to optimize your experience. My server Trinity was a pleasure to have especially with kids who struggle to figure out what they want to eat! She took us all the way down and we got out very quickly and the dining room was spotless! Thank you Chopt Chapel Hill for such a wonderful experience on a nice summer day!

Wide selection of salads. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff, especially Trinity! She’s always got a smile on her face. The food is ridiculously overpriced, but that’s not her fault.
Noelle H — Google review
I moved to Chapel Hill to attend UNC, and Chopt has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots for a fresh, satisfying meal. No matter what time I come, whether it’s a busy lunch rush or a slower evening, I’ve consistently received high-quality food, warm service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. The energy is always positive, and it’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do. A special shoutout to Manager Jessica Clark—she’s truly the heart of this location! Not only does she make my regular salad absolutely perfect every time (seriously, it tastes amazing every single visit), but she’s also constantly recommending fun, new combinations that keep things exciting. Her attention to detail and kindness never go unnoticed. She genuinely cares that I’m happy with my meal, no matter what’s going on in the store. All the other staff members are just as friendly and attentive. It’s always a great experience from start to finish, and I leave feeling good every time. If you’re in Chapel Hill, don’t sleep on this Chopt—you won’t be disappointed!

DICED Salads, Wraps & Bowls - West Cary is a popular quick-service restaurant with multiple locations in the Triangle area. The upcoming fourth outpost will be located at 121 Fayetteville St. in Suite 108. Customers have praised the friendly and knowledgeable staff, particularly mentioning individuals like Kailey and Kayla who provided excellent service and made great menu suggestions.
I just had to take a moment to shout out Grace at Diced she is truly amazing! Every time I come in, she brings such positive energy and makes the whole experience better. She’s quick, super friendly, and puts care into every salad she makes. You can really tell she takes pride in her work. Grace makes Diced feel more like a neighborhood spot than just a salad place. 10/10 would recommend having her make your meal she’s the best!
Kingston F — Google review
I went to Diced Salad recently, and I just have to say how awesome Grace was! From the moment I walked in, she had such a friendly smile and made me feel welcome right away. She was super helpful with the menu and gave great suggestions for building the perfect salad. Grace was patient, kind, and really seemed to care about making sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. You can tell she takes pride in her job and truly enjoys helping people. It’s not every day that you find someone who goes out of their way to give such great service. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be coming back!

I’d say this is one of the best places for salads in the area! A bit pricey but worth it for the quality ingredients and portion sizes. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The girl who helped me today, Kailey, was so nice! She walks you through everything and makes some great recommendations. Great lunch spot!
Natsuyo H — Google review
I’d give this place a 2.5 out of 5, mainly because the food didn’t feel very fresh. I later learned that most of the cooking is done in the morning, which might explain why it didn’t taste freshly made. That said, the overall flavor was still good, so I decided to round up to 3 stars. However, for side items like the broccoli, tofu, and rice, I expected them to be at least warm and taste a bit fresher. For the price I’m paying, I would expect the food to be at least a little fresh. Tofu, in particular, doesn’t hold up well after sitting out all day. On a positive note, the staff was very nice and friendly, which added to the overall experience.

Grace was amazing! I stopped by Diced Salad today and she went above and beyond to help me customize my order exactly how I wanted it. She was friendly, patient, and super knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell she genuinely cares about providing great service. Thanks to Grace, I’ll definitely be coming back!

Of recent the change is staffing has made this location horrible! Unwelcoming and clearly NO regard for keeping an eating establishment to DHHS standards. Given the climate of high transmissible diseases you would think the dining area and food prep area would be attended to and cleaned. 4pm made a purchase with my husband and I should have walked out. The tables floors and serving prep area had NOT been cleaned-thoroughly disappointed as this was my fave healthy local eating spot. The two employees working today were as welcoming as the dry wall in my garage left unpainted. I am tempted to contact my employer and file a formal complaint with what I witnessed today. Lastly the portion sizes for $50.00 were a CRIME-half of the bowl was filled and how is that possible when I order double of 90% of its contents. Felt cheated and robbed……decided to NOT eat the salads/wrap once getting home due to NO handwashing from servers where hanging out and talking, clearly dirty and unsanitary environment. Tossed everything and became irate that I wasted money and still needed to spend money to eat elsewhere. Note to the management-I work pretty high up on the org chart (married name) for the NC Department of Health and Human Services (post is under my maiden name). It’s simply NOT okay to allow your business to fall below standard……SMH!!

Good food. You can customize your choice or get items off the menu. Plenty of options for vegetarians, although I don't recommend the crispy tofu, which is rubbery and tasteless. Go with the chickpeas, they are delicious. Stays is very friendly and helpful.

I was served by Lee who made me feel welcomed and, when ringing up the order and processing the payment, was kind, cool, calm, and collected. She did not rush the process. Great service and great atmosphere.

Fast food restaurant
B.GOOD is a fast-casual chain that provides healthier versions of classic fast-food dishes, such as baked fries. The menu offers a variety of affordable options including chicken sandwiches, bowls, salads, and smoothies. Additionally, the restaurant features an artisanal soda fountain with unique drink options like rosemary lemonade and beet lemonade. Customers have praised the fresh and well-presented food as well as the friendly staff.
This place had good food, polite staff and well presented. Food is fresh. I had kale side salad and beet-ginger-lemonade. Friends had sw chicken and other friend had maple bacon burger and kale side sald. All dishes were delish!!

Let's start with the good. The food was good and a nice addition to the Durham food scene. The portion size could be bigger but I didn't leave feeling hungry. A good quality quick service restaurant is exactly what we need downtown. As a downtown resident I was excited when it opened. Unfortunately the service level is abysmal. I visited at 5pm on a Saturday and the place was fairly empty. The ketchup dispenser was empty and there was no tea made. When I entered the person working the counter slowly got up from her chair and put away her phone to finally take my order. She made me feel like I was interrupting her day. A large group came in and she hid in the back until they gave up waiting at the counter and used the self service order kiosk, before returning to her chair to read her phone. The kitchen crew was simply standing around also and not taking care of things. If there was a manager they weren't present. Everyone appeared to be miserable and just waiting to go home. I wish this was an isolated incident but several of my neighbors have told similar stories. I hope they can turn it around because I really want to like the place.
Dale F — Google review
Counter order healthy themed fast food featuring locally sourced ingredients with salads, grain bowls, and burgers and chicken sandwiches. They have a number of side options including things like avocado toast. Nice physical location inside and well located in downtown Durham in One City Center. Friendly staff and they are pretty efficient getting good out. I could see myself upping this rating over time, but my big complaint was that I ordered a seasonal salad with kale base and they did not remove the kale stalks. It was not just one but there were a number of sizable stalks in it. Beautiful looking salad with nicely variety of ingredients, but no one wants to chew on tough kale stalks.
Matthew C — Google review
Long wait. Mac and cheese was partly cold and also warms up in a plastic container that partially melted. Avacado toast was burned. B good you need to work harder to survive in Durham with so many outstanding places to eat.
Bryan R — Google review
Had to have two of the three burgers redone they both were good the second time around.
Reggie S — Google review
The food is decent. Only negative is that the burgers were a bit small. I've visited a couple of times and both times the customer service was pretty horrible. Not what I would expect from a place like this (and especially one located so prominently in downtown Durham). On my first visit I asked for a burger with hard fried egg on a gluten free bun. The one I got had an over-easy egg and a normal bun. The bun was less of a problem than the runny egg (I understand gluten free is not a popular request so I always double check), but the attitude and eye-rolls I got when I asked if they could fix it was a huge problem for me. There's no place for that. Second time I went was not much better. Sadly, I can't really recommend this place and I doubt I'll be going back.
Alise W — Google review
It was a pretty good Chipotle Chicken sandwich...I used the free entree coupon from their opening.
Wendy S — Google review
Good food, woeful logistics. Sunday afternoon at 3:30. Restaurant being run by two people: one cooking, and one working the register and preparing salads and smoothies. No salad bowls available, so salads were being served in two small bowls. Pick-up counter had standing puddles of water and some dark liquid, as well as a dusting of other toppings. Condiment area splattered with ketchup, with a used ketchup cup on the counter. Tables covered with trash. Preparation of food was slow because of understaffing. Despite this, the food was good and apparently well-prepared. Unfortunately I have had this mixed experience several times at B.Good. When the restaurant opened, it was well- staffed with workers and out-of-town trainers. The restaurant is now being run by a few workers who appear inadequately trained and experienced. They seem understaffed and unsupported. The food quality has declined somewhat since opening. B.Good has a good business model, but bad logistics and execution seem to be damaging its reputation in Durham, based on conversations with other customers. B.Good customers are paying a premium for high quality local food, but a disorganized and dirty restaurant makes it hard to believe that the food is as fresh and healthy as the restaurant claims.

If you're on the hunt for a healthy dining option in the North Carolina Triangle, look no further than Bul Box. This popular eatery in Durham is perfect for those seeking a quick lunch or takeout dinner. With an array of meal choices like warm grain bowls and refreshing poke bowls, you can also customize your own bowl by selecting a base, up to six toppings—including one protein—and various sauces to create your ideal dish.
Favorite delivery order spot, haven’t been to eat in yet. Have ordered both for myself and group order for coworkers. Seoul box is my favorite. Bahn mi, fries and dumplings are also great options.

While the Kimchi Chicken Sandwich boasted a promising interplay of textures and flavors, the execution leaned towards the heavy side. The fried chicken, though undeniably satisfying, proved somewhat overwhelming in conjunction with the bread and fries. While the individual components were well-prepared, the overall composition lacked a certain lightness and balance.
Patrick S — Google review
Great location + plenty selections to pick from. Food was alright, need a little more flavor in the additives that just from the sauce. So, make sure you at least get two sauces to create a better dish. The size of each bowl is more than enough- you could even save for left overs. There is the possibility to create your own bowl. Team members friendly + provide quick service. Would return, maybe to create own bowl. The beverage selection is t anything special, the dispensers were low on product, when I got to there just after restaurant opened for the day. Which likely they could have been preparing them in the back.

They had a special on a katsu chicken sandwich so we tried two different ones. My SO had the Kimchi and I had the California (which I liked best). They were so good. The chicken had a nice crispy coating and was hot and juicy. The flavors were spot on. We also tried the Bulgogi spring rolls too, tasty. Dang y’all, I’m still dreaming about that chicken sandwich.

This was my first time trying. We had a large delivery. None of the food was labeled so we knew what it was. I ordered the beef bulgogi with extra meat and fried kimchi rice.... so paid a lot extra. I never got my bowl. None of them appeared to have extra meat and I ended up with white rice. I'm very dissatisfied.

Stopped by here for lunch (dined-in). I ordered the Tokyo Signature Rice bowl which came with Teriyaki chicken, roasted vegetables, pickled red onion, and others as well as multiple different sauces. The base is usually rice but I had it substituted for noodles for a couple of dollar extra. The food was very tasty and the portion was generous. The store is very clean as well. Indoor/outdoor seating available

Fresh ingredients, good portions and ability to customize or order straight off the menu was great. We ordered beef, thai chicken and teriyaki chicken bowls and liked them all!

Tossed is a modern counter-serve chain that offers a variety of wraps, sandwiches, salads, and soups. One of their popular dishes is the tuna salad, which is a refreshing twist on the classic with added apples and dried cranberries in a light mayo dressing. The restaurant also allows customers to customize their salads with options like local farm chicken or choose from signature salads like the Chicken Caprese. Customers praise the freshness and generous portions of the salads at Tossed.
Really good salad that is really big. In addition, the atmosphere is nice. I'll definitely go again multiple times. Expect to spend ~$10.
V H — Google review
If you're looking for the best salads in the area, this is my #1 place to go. Have kids with you? Add one of their delicious personal pizzas. Nothing makes their salads better than adding their local farm, roasted and perfectly seasoned chicken. Make the salads your own by using their "Design Your Own Salad" choice menus, or go for one of their signature salads (my favorite is the Chicken Caprese). Everything is FRESH, and that's what I love most about their meals. The restaurant is clean, and their staff does a great job at making your visit top notch in customer service (they must be great people managers). Friendly folks, Mom & Pop owned. Just a great vibe there. Business people come there for lunch because they know they can count on the service to get it right and get them back to the office on time. Our company has also ordered from their catering menu and all have been very pleased as well. I'll keep coming back - truly my favorite of lunchtime venues in the area.

The food at Tossed is consistently delicious, and seems to be fresh and healthy enough when looking for a healthy place to eat out. Service is almost always consistently a problem though. They aren't rude, and are usually pretty easy going and always friendly, but it is rare for them to get an order 100% right and sometimes it can be a little slow. Hummus is great though.
Aaron N — Google review
I order from Tossed all the time. I absolutely love the food and the service. Tossed is my go to at work, because everyone loves it and I never have to ask if people feel like eating it because they always do. Delivery is always on time, and they have NEVER gotten my order incorrect. Keep up the great work and I will be sure to keep ordering your delicious food.

I just moved to Morrisville about 3 weeks ago and since I have walked into this restaurant, I have eaten here almost everyday for lunch. The food is amazing. So amazing that I called the manager over and told her I wanted to complain. She was so nice and upbeat. She asked what did I have a problem with. I told her my problem was that I was spending all of my money at her great restaurant everyday. She and her staff laughed so hard. I think her name is Christine (I'm bad with names). Her great attitude and smile has rubbed off on the rest of the staff. Everyday I'm greeted with a smile and she even surprised me yesterday and called me by my name. I don't even remember telling her that. I just wanted to tell everyone that if you are looking for a healthy lunch with quality, fresh ingredients, this is the place to go.
Ebonne L — Google review
Salads and pizza are excellent. Food sometimes seems a bit overpriced. Owner's are very personable. Cleanliness of tables is hit-and-miss and varies wildly throughout the day and depending on staff working that day. They do deliver if you order early enough in the day and order enough to make it worth their while.
Daniel ( — Google review
Southwest Blackened Chicken Salad is delicious and my go to. It's great without the dressing as well. If you order online, it will usually be ready well before the time they give you online and just sitting on the counter, so no need to wait. 5 stars for great food and healthy options.
Andrew S — Google review
I've had several bad experiences at this location, but today, by far, takes the cake. This location was not busy at the time of my visit, compared to their normal customer volume at this time of day... there were only two customers in front of me, and about 3 in the dining room. My food took almost 20 mins! (a Greek pita with hummus to go) There was a red headed girl (no one wears name tags), with a hot pink shirt who was angry at everyone, openly complaining to her fellow employees, and at one point telling the manger on duty (Sam?) that "he needs to hire more people so that someone can help the new guy who doesn't know what the heck he is doing". She then commented to another employee, tall head headed guy, that the wax paper (for my sandwich) was folded improperly and that "he was going to be the one to wrap because she isn't doing it!" So my sandwich sat there, made, for another couple of minutes until he could get free to wrap it and place it in the box. The box then sat on the counter cue line for another 5 minutes. Another customer waiting asked that someone hand her her smoothie that had been made and was sitting in the cue line, red headed girl then rudely stated that "he is new and is not allowed to check out or check orders" She then walked off stating that "she worked 80 hrs. this week, etc.". The other girl that had been running orders out, etc., eventually came over and handed that customer her drink and also my order. This whole process took more than 15 mins! The two other customers waiting with me were commenting on how bad the wait was, as well as the attitude. We were subjected to obvious disorganization and obvious frustration amongst the employees at this location. The fact that we could hear all of this, and that the manager, not only could hear it, but was even yelled at by this girl, and yet nothing was done, astounds me. Not one of us was even offered an apology for the long wait. I had experienced service similar to this in the past, at this location, and had not been back for a long while...today's experience reminded me of why I have stayed away! Something needs to change here or I will not be back again. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Hungry Leaf is a delightful counter-serve eatery that caters to health-conscious diners with its impressive selection of fresh salads, wraps, and soups. The build-your-own format allows guests to customize their meals from over 50 ingredients, ensuring everyone can find something they love. One standout option is the E.A.T Cobb salad featuring hard-boiled eggs, avocado, grape tomatoes, and grilled chicken—all made with white meat—served on a bed of crisp iceberg lettuce.
Amazing value for the quality and quantity of delicious food. Panda Pear salad is amazing and the staff was great! Open a store in Raleigh!

Love this restaurant! I am a regular customer who probably eats here once a week. I must say that every time I go to Hungry Leaf, I am never disappointed. The food is way fresh with a wide selection (50+) of ingredients to add to your salad. There are also custom salads, I really love the E.A.T Cobb with the chicken. The chicken is all WHITE meat too. Also any salad can be turned into a wrap if you're eating on the go. The staff is extra friendly and very knowledgeable to what dressings taste better with what ingredients. The restaurant and dining areas are always clean. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The salad was outstanding and it gets chopped fresh for you. I liked that there were so many healthy choices. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the pairing of salads and dressings. I will go there again when I'm in town. Locals don't sleep on the Hungry Leaf!

The food was great and the staff were very nice! The build your own salad was a good portion size and certainly will not leave you hungry. The food tastes fresh, and the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

I just had a fantastic meal! I am glad I went at a strange hour, because this place must be packed at rush hour. I am a picky eater and I wanted to order half the menu. This does not happen often. The degree of customization is enough to cater every need, but I would go with their recommendations. I will be definitely going back!
Ioannis — Google review
The wraps are good but they chop the salads up way to much. You almost need a spoon to eat it. Otherwise, tastes good and happens to be a very healthy meal.
K E — Google review
Just had a salad at this location. Price was one $9.00 for a small amount of lettuce and 1 added item. Staff were not friendly. Online receipt system pushes tips and no option for emailing copy of reciept to me. Overall if I just want a $9.00 piece of lettuce, I will go to a high end resturant.
Ron V — Google review
Amazing salads! Fresh ingredients and they chop the salad for you, great touch. Their toasted sesame dressing is unreal. Get it on the side if you order to go apparently it makes the salad soggy otherwise.
