This cafe is nice to chill and enjoy a meal. When I went, there was a power cut, and their generator was having issues staying on. So, my food took half an hour to come out. After I ate, I ordered a waffle, waited half an hour, and then was told it couldn't be made. I wish I was told sooner to save my time. Aside from the time taking long. The food and drink was enjoyable

Bak Chor Mee/Mince Meat Noodle/Mee Pok is the one of Signature dish widely available around Singapore. Luckily Easy Specialty bring this dish to Yangon. We ordered BCM & Mini Wok noddle and both are very delicious. Their coffee is very good too. Highly recommended

So far the only proper coffee I had in my 9-day trip in Myanmar. Their latte is better than many high end hotels. The place is chilled, not as crowded as Rangoon tea house. They also sell roasted coffee beams in cute packages, which looks very community/environmental friendly.

Another Great Specialty coffee shop runs by Easy Specialty Coffee. The coffee beans are fresh and nicely brewed. Barista can be improved to make better brewing cups. The grilled cheese was awesome. I like the atmosphere and decoration of the cafe. I literally sat for the while afternoon.

Good food and great coffee. Prices are decent. They roast their own beans. It’s located in a busy neighborhood so, it’s a good area to walk around and enjoy the local bazaar. Give it a try.

This is one of the best coffee shops in Yangon, located beside a very famous noodle shop named Aung Min Ga Lar or so. Having very good coffee quality, you can get awesome specialty ones or local favor, or deep taste cold brew here, the price is quite expensive but acceptable. Strong and free wifi is provided, with good service from local staffs whom can speak English well. The space is a little small but nice, often crowded with people, especially foreigns and travellers. Everything is almost clean, but still should be better. 4 stars rate from me

One of a kind in Yangon. EASY cafe has the nicest drinks in town. We bought all the beans for Pour Over and tried some of their signature drinks, oolong cold brew and monochrome were so flavorful. They trade directly with farmers to get the quality of their beans.

As in writing this review, the air conditioning unit above me starts dripping and buckets were placed to catch water. That’s a nice view for the customers. They also charge tax and a service fee, whereas most places do not. I will never come here again because there was no actual service!

Modern coffee shop / cafe near the Savoy hotel. Mix of tourists and well to do locals. Common to see people having business chats, planning their tours for the day, etc. Service is great.

A coffee shop located in town, serving house roasted conventional coffee. I ordered a fine Piccolo, costs 3000 kyat. They are also serving food too. It is a good place for group hanging out. Next to the cafe, there is a coffee accessories showroom where they supply espresso machines, equipment, and made to order roasted beans.

We went on a Sun afternoon and expected at least half filled with guests, only to find there's hardly anybody there. The exterior looks like a low-budget cafe joint, but once inside, you walk into a different world. The set-up and vibe restaurant like. The lights are not bright. Merely using outside sunlight to light up the place. The price is higher than other young people's cafes. Food is good to my Burmese and foreign friends from NZ and Korea. Coffee is good. Only issue is staff may not be that conversant with English. We could talk in privacy coz no one is there. I would like to try other food items if someone drives.

I always come here to have a nice espresso after having lunch at Aung Tukka. It serves an excellent espresso coffee in the modern style coffee shop & restaurant which was established many years ago when there are very very few modern coffee shop in Yangon. It was like a oasis for Yangonites in the previous few years ago. However, the restaurant needs a bit of maintenance now in order to keep a nice ambient. Then it will get 4*

Nice coffee place that have separate aircon space and sunshaded outside space, very Comfortable to avoid serious Hot sun and Rain, car park is small.

Firstly, its hard to park there whether you are using a bicycle or a car. Secondly, prices are steep. Pay almost 17 000 for one espresso shot and tiny cake is a bit too much. Few drops of milk are extra charged, feels like a try to suck all of me. At least there is no extra 10% service charge. The ambiance is cool, i admit. The location is lit but definitely overpriced. Yes, the coffee machine looks fancy, feels like an upper scale coffeehouse. They do have their own grinding and roasting room upstairs which is rare and cool. All inside looks like a high-end place. Staff is dressed neatly, speaking modest English. What surprised me, is no proper ceramic cups, only plastic-paper ones. Brownie was kinda average, not gonna drool for it later for sure. Just a pass. Plus 5% commercial tax applied which, I think, a guest should be notified beforehand. Wishing the team success and improvements.

Ordered a chicken burger, it was exceptionally dry and old. And there was a hair in the fries. This was completely off-putting.

The coffee tastes really great. The food is not as good as other restaurants. But the vibe and service is really good. Most people usually come here Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Great options for coffee and non-coffee drinks and their pastry section has something for everyone. This is my first time here but it is now my favorite coffee location in town. They also sell aluminum tumblers with tops and that’s a coveted find out here. Coconut crepe cake is to die for.

It’s normal chain cafe similar to Starbucks. Cakes and croissant look good in present but taste really dry, either not fresh or cheap ingredients. Coffee was bitter, tastes like dark roasted low quality beans. I can’t finish what I have ordered for the not good taste.

This place serves the best smoothie in town. My favorite one is smoothie bowl with fruits and nuts. It is 100% worth the try even though the price is a little high. The coffee and other drinks taste good too. Moreover it has two story and you can work or study there by bringing your laptop. They also give free WiFi. One of my favorite spot in town. The only downside is there is no space to park the car😁

The cafe gives you that chilling vibe with its set up but on crowded day, you feel a bit too much for introverts like me. Food and coffee is what you would expect from this standard so, definitely not for a budget date. Overall, sure I would recommend for a coffee date/catchup.

You can enjoy Burmese breakfast here. Portions are quite bigger than I thought and one portion is easy to share for two ppl. Tea is normal. Food is good. Keemar is superb & recommended one to try. Ambience is nice.

We had a brilliant experience this morning for lunch at Cafe Salween. The waiters were very attentive and provided superb service. For our mains, we had 2 pastas (carbonara and shan chicken) and 1 kachin pork chop and all 3 were delightful. For dessert, we had their special coconut and malai pizza, as well as the fried calzone. Both were great and unique. The calzone was a little on the sweet side but on the bright side, that helped to ease off the heaviness from our mains. We also sampled their taunggyi latte, flat white and tea options which all didn't disappoint. There was no one else when we came at 1125 am (reserved via Facebook for safe measure and that was a great experience too). The ambience is really nice with great view of the city skyline from the 8th floor. Overall an awesome experience and would definitely come back again.

Expensive for nothing. We came here in January. I found the service to be careless for the price they charge. I wonder why customers are supposed to give 10% for waiters who show long faces and act as if you were bothering them. The pizza wasn’t good and they didn’t even have Tabasco sauce for this price! Only the cocktails were OK. Never again.

Drinks menu is superb. Pizza is delicious but fewer choice. I would recommend cold noodles rather than beef pho. Dessert menu would be very nice for foreigners. Free wifi, almost every table has nearest plug for your electronics devices.

Another visit I had the Tofu salad which was good but could reduce the salty level on this dish. The Golden Hand noodle and Pineapple beef curry were great.

Great local coffee nicely brewed several ways (from chemex to pour over). Descent food menu. My absolute hits are burmese crepes and salads (pennyworth, tomato, tealeaf). Fresh and crispy - that's what I love. I think their laphet thoke is the best in Yangon. Desserts are not my cup of tea. They either remind me baked porridge or banana bread when I forgot to put eggs into dough. Still 5 stars) If they added some European style desserts with local spirit I would give 6))))

The 1960's filled my heart with joy and the Deja Brew coffee is the signature drink that I would definitely come back for it. Especially, the service provided by all the staff there were terrific. Not to mention the homey and cozy decorated of the cafe that made the atmosphere like you were in a good old days. If you wish to make a good start of and/or try to complete your day with happiness, I would recommend that you should try to find some time to make a visit here, otherwise you would regret it going home not stopping by.

Juice called 1960’s is really nice! It is a quince, peach and lime flavor juice with tiny bit of salty-sour powder around the edge of the glass. Yangon Summer like ice lemon tea but has its unique fresh taste. We also ordered basil chicken with rice, rice with soybean paste and fried chicken, both are very nice as well. Next time will come for the coffee during day time as their drinks looks really nice, too!

This is the best place to buy gifts or souvenirs. They offer anything from traditional garments, shirts and polos (I bought a few and they’re of good quality!), jewelry, paintings, and other trinkets. Definitely a must go place for tourists wanting to see handmade local crafts and souvenirs!

There are also dining experiences available. Lots of public restrooms. Overall, interesting calm walk-through the whole market.

Traditional market but it was not a happy feeling after I got back in the hotel checking my purchases. After converting what I’ve paid for 5 items I bought, surely I paid 3X for what it should be. I just wish people or sellers are honest and will not do their dirty tricks to earn more. This type of experience shoo tourist away to buy. Sad, because I’m sure not all sellers are bad and must have decent sellers out there. Negative experience from visiting this market for me but in a positive note, I hope what I paid extra, helped them in a way. Overall, it is a place to buy souvenirs. It’s a great place to walk around and explore, with so many interesting shops selling jewelry, gemstones, handicrafts, and beautiful Burmese fabrics. There’s also a good mix of souvenirs and local products, so it’s perfect for picking up something unique. The market has a lively but relaxed atmosphere, and the vendors are friendly and not too pushy. If you enjoy bargaining, you can get some great deals! Huge bustling market which is a lot of fun to simply just wander around or pick up souvenirs and really anything else you'd ever want to buy. It can be a bit daunting to find your way around, but it's perfectly safe and there are always lots of other tourists wandering around as well. I bought a couple souvenirs and found prices were totally reasonable without needing to bargain beforehand.

It's been 10 years since I've been to this restaurant, but I'm really amazed that they've managed to keep the flavors of their dishes unchanged. U can have variety of menu ranging from small bite to main meal. Recommend to try this restaurant^^

Restaurant specialized in noodle dishes. It is located at a bit seclusive area, but it's full of customers. The outdoor area is beautiful, although it's really hot. Visiting in the evening for a drink is recommended.

Love their pork rib noodle! The broth is flavorful, the ribs are tender, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!

I ate there in the evenings for almost twice per month as it’s located on my way to gym and also I like the atmosphere. The waitresses (ladies) were always friendly and provided good service. But last month I went there earlier than usual and there were only waiters (3 men). They said the shift will be changed later in the evening. (That’s when the ladies serve, I guess.) The service was very bad and they didn’t welcome customers well. They treated us like we came to eat their foods for free. They were taking orders like it was a boring task. And didn’t even smile at all.

Interesting facade that screams cool space and coffee... And it lives up to the expectations. I believe the simple test for a proper coffee shop is it's Americano (hot or cold). And definitely a proper one came with enough kick and soft bitterness. Place is packed with young people which may be a bit noisy but overall, experience is good.

I'm not a coffee person but I try craft many times for meal as i shared some photos. There're look nice and yes taste is also nice. They have free wifi, plug and toilet. So you can take time to drink coffee and work with your laptop. The only thing I dont like is "blackout" happen so often, it may not its fault but it can annoy me sonetimes. By the way, let try!

Best Coffee and Smoothie in town.

The café is in a great location with a nice view of Sule Pagoda. When I visited, the air conditioning was not turned on, so the air felt stagnant and quite hot. Additionally, the cooking area is in the same room, which caused a noticeable food smell. I ordered the spaghetti pesto, which was delicious. However, the risotto resembled fried rice rather than a traditional risotto. The buttercream coffee was rich, creamy, and sweet, while the matcha latte was also enjoyable, with beautifully creative latte art. One small comment: On Google Maps, the café is listed as ‘Coffee & Brunch,’ but its actual name is ‘Rio,’ which made it a bit difficult to find.

Like others say there's a great lack of signage! We nearly left because we thought is was no longer there! There was the tiniest blackboard sign on the pavement. They're on the 3rd floor. What they have done is cool, but there needs to be some sign! The food is good. It's not cheap. The service is ok. My friend got her smoothie quickly, but my (hot) Coffee took time. My sandwich came very quickly, her wrap took ages! I was finished before hers arrived. And we ordered a salad, which was very nicely presented, but very simple and it still took a very long time to arrive. The coffee was excellent, but not very hot. A tad more than room temperature. The strawberry smoothie we ordered was very average. It was strawberry season and we just paid 1,000 for a bag of strawberries. That's not a lot. The smoothie was 5,000. It also had distinct banana flavour. It was disappointing. They done the space well. It's modern and airy, clean. The music was too loud. Bathrooms are clean.

Downtown Yangon, there are a plethora of eateries. This one stood as being very authentic, Burma. Aa usual, the service with a smile was awesome. The food is simple, tasty, and all one needs for brunch. Top it off with a boba tea made the whole experience worth coming back.

The waitress forget the one of the orders. Reminded the other waitress 15 minutes later. Still needed to wait next 15 minutes. Needed to remind again. After 40 minutes, successfully received the food (picture attached). This kind of food can be prepared in less than 5 minutes in other Tea houses. Food taste and quality was not good. Doesn’t recommend except for the atmosphere.
