Saigonese Eatery is a casual and laid-back restaurant located on Tran Hung Dao, offering fresh and creative seafood dishes. The owner, Thao Le, brings her passion for Vietnamese cuisine to the table, ensuring that each dish is cooked with a well-balanced range of flavors. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, and the beautiful garden-themed bistro provides a great setting for enjoying delicious meals.
We ordered many dishes to try, and the chef clearly has excellent knowledge of the cuisine. The coffee was also delicious. Inside, there are plenty of tables and chairs, and the restaurant is air-conditioned, making it a comfortable dining spot. One thing is certain—you should definitely book a table in advance. It can be quite difficult to find a restaurant specializing in meat dishes on an island full of seafood. The area is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a cool and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is professional and provides great service. The background music adds to the chill vibe, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Saigon Eatery is truly a memorable dining spot in Phu Quoc. The restaurant has a beautiful, modern yet cozy atmosphere. We ordered several dishes to try, and every single one was delicious and well-presented. I especially loved the grilled sourdough bread with truffle mushrooms — the texture was perfect, moist inside with a rich and flavorful sauce. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. If we ever return to Phu Quoc, Saigon Eatery will definitely be on our list again!

the food here hit the spot, and was a reasonable price! clean bathrooms w toilet paper. i really loved how they cooked their pork belly (not pictured), was v tender and flavorful. the sides of veggies were also fresh and had a refreshing dressing that paired v well w each other. all the other dishes were great as well! i recommend their chicken sandwich too. i believe they make all their bread and pastries in house!!! their cheesecake was a good “not too sweet” finisher. the staff are also attentive without hovering. the dishes came out one by one though, so i would definitely just plan to share everything w your table instead of individual plates!

We stumbled upon Saigonese Eatery while searching for the best places to eat in Phu Quoc—and we were not disappointed! This cozy little cafe has such a warm and welcoming vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu had some really interesting and unique options. We tried the crispy potato pavé with salmon roe, chicken burger, tiger prawns, and the tomyum seafood pasta—all of which were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Our kid especially loved the tiger prawns and fried rice, and we really appreciated that they had a dedicated kid’s menu tailored for little ones. The service was excellent, the pricing was reasonable, and the food—especially the tomyum seafood pasta (my personal favorite!)—was top-notch. Would definitely come back here on our next trip to Phu Quoc!

We visited this restaurant on our last day in Phu Quoc after seeing good reviews — and it was a great choice. The space is beautifully designed with high ceilings, artisan touches, and lots of natural light. It felt calm and inviting. We had the soft-shell crab rice (a must-try!), fried squid, and cauliflower — all tasty and well-prepared. I also loved the orange espresso. Despite my caffeine and dairy sensitivity, it was smooth, dairy-free, and didn’t cause any discomfort. Friendly staff, great food, and relaxing vibes. Highly recommended!
Savan — Google review
Here staffs were very friendly I like the way they treat foreign people was ama zing. Coming to food taste next level we ordered the chicken burger combo and coconut coffee. The people who loves to drink coffee can try this unique coconut milk coffee. The phu quoc experience was so amazing ,love to come back once again.

When visiting Phu Quoc, one of the must-try local dishes is Bún quậy KIẾN - XÂY (A-C noodles). This freshly made rice noodle dish features a variety of seafood paste and is popular among both locals and tourists due to the island's abundance of fresh seafood. The ingredients are prepared daily, and the rice noodles in its broth are a perfect match. Served with a chili lime dip, it enhances the seafood flavor.
A must go for Pho lovers. Enough said. 6 of us went without reservations. But you may want to consider making reservations through a local guide or the hotel you are staying if you have a big group. The small store just at the entrance sells delicious meat sticks and bahn mi as well.
Thean L — Google review
Very fortunate to stumble onto this local pho place. Counter was friendly and showed us English menu, food was easy to order as there are only 4 types of pho bowls. Exceptionally delicious with a sauce counter where you mixed up your desired ingredients and add to your phonat your own liking. We had a fabulous meal and left happy and full.
Peter C — Google review
A simple yet impressive Vietnamese noodle shop. The noodles are made fresh, while the broth is fragrant, naturally sweet, and very refreshing. The fun part is customizing your own sauce — if you like it salty, add more salt; if you prefer it sweet, go for extra sugar; if you want it spicy, load it with chili; or even add a touch of MSG for that extra kick. You can also choose from different toppings: shrimp, fish balls, beef, or squid — all fresh and tasty, pairing perfectly with the noodles and soup. And if you order a glass of sugarcane juice on the side, it’s the perfect match. Ordering is straightforward: place your order at the counter, then take a seat and mix up your sauce while waiting. Easy, casual, and delicious — definitely a spot worth coming back to.
Samita D — Google review
Kien Xay seems to be the oldest bún quậy brand in Phu Quoc. Their first branch, located in a fishing village alley, dates back to the 1990s and used to be the only place where locals could enjoy this dish. The word “quậy” in bún quậy means “stir,” which describes the way the fresh rice vermicelli noodles are made AFTER the kitchen receives an order. Since the noodles are made from rice flour and are very sticky, the chef repeatedly “stirs” them with chopsticks in boiling water until the noodles are cooked through without clumping together. Because the fresh noodles are made to order, the restaurant cannot guarantee how long service will take; sometimes, you might have to wait 20-25 minutes if the restaurant is crowded. First, you place your order at the counter and pay. Then, you go to prepare your dipping sauce yourself. The bún quậy dipping sauce is a mix of sugar, salt, MSG, ground fresh chili, and kumquat juice. You mix the sauce yourself according to your desired ratio, or you can take the pre-mixed salt + sugar + MSG that the restaurant provides and just add the kumquat juice and chili. A characteristic of bún quậy broth is that it is very bland; they seem to add nothing more than the natural subtle sweetness of the various seafood bones used to simmer the stock. Therefore, the dipping sauce you mix above is not only used for dipping the toppings but also for seasoning the broth itself to your personal taste. If you purchase drinks, you also go to the refrigerator to get them yourself. After that, choose a table and wait for the staff to call your name when your bún is ready. Once again, you will go back to the service counter, take a plastic tray, and bring the bowl of bún back to your table yourself. It might sound complicated, but it’s a fun DIY experience, and the reward is exceptionally fresh and delicious food. You must try it at least once when you visit Phu Quoc: you can't miss this dish!
Bluer — Google review
We came at 8 PM in Tuesday, it is not that packed as we can easily get seat for 2 people. They only have 1 menu and we need to mix the spices (salt, sugar, msg, and lime) by ourselves. The food itself is typical Viet Nam noodle - homey, light soup, and comforting. When you combine it with their sugarcane, it is very goodm the combination of the soup and sugarcane just 👍👍👍 Recommended!
Raymondus B — Google review
To be honest, I don't understand at all why the restaurant has so many reviews and such a popular place. You might not have to draw a conclusion from one dish, but I would say that in Vietnam there are hundreds of places where I liked the first time. Noodles tasted like nothing, and cutlets was in the soup tasted more like convenience foods. The squid, though not peeled, tasted better than another filling. In general, the atmosphere there is pleasant, people are polite and you can pay by card. The portion is large.
Toni K — Google review
Food also ok. You have to mix the dipping sauce yourself The service is good. Whos named Duoc served sugarcane juice very quickly, turned on the fan and call me need to make sauce.

Bún Kèn Út Lượm is a popular street vendor in Duong Dong Town, Phu Quoc Island, known for its specialty dish, Bun Ken. This unique noodle dish features fried ground fish, sprouts, chilies, papaya salad, and herbs topped with a flavorful fish broth. Priced at 30,000 VND, the dish stands out for its rich coconut milk-based broth with a spicy kick from chili.
What a great way to discover a regional dish - Bun Ken. Delicious seafoody coconut broth (reminded me of laksa)topped with noodles, herbs, and plenty of minced spiced fish. Absolutely delicious and a steal at 30k.

It's vermicelli with papaya, soyascheuten, coconut milk, and fish. It's a fresh and light dish for this hot weather. The combination of flavors is perfectly balanced. This dish started more than 30 years ago. A real original place that starts with. For just 30.000 dong! Everyone who are in this island should try this. You can rarely find this meal on other city.

Bun Ken is definitely a dish to check out while ur here!!! (its really only in this region as its one of their specialties here - not many other areas of vietnam makes it!) these guys also do Bun Nham, a Ha Tien specialty this place is a pretty well known spot for Bun Ken. and it's well known for good reasons! its delicious!!!! seating is all on low tables and stools, situated outdoors but undercover a very local style dining place but definitely worth a stop by! and at only 30k a bowl! what a steal!

Best place for breakfast (or lunch if you prefer) on the whole island! They serve local specialty with coconut curry and sea food for a long time. Mix everything before you eat it and you will have the taste of a tropical island in one bowl :) It all comes fast, served from lovely hosts and for a very good price. you also get a decent coffee here. Try it. I loved it so much.
Jonas B — Google review
Interesting and tasty variant of Bun. Coconut curry flavoured ground fish with Bun noodles is a fresh burst of flavour at a very reasonable price. This place is only open 6 am to noon. We were fortunate showing up as they were shutting down at about 12:20. They ladies smilingly agreed to feed us at that time. Very good value for money at 30,000 vnd for a bowl. For two of us with drinks (OJ and a coconut based drink) was 85,000 vnd. It's not fancy at that price but the bun was terrific. Will definitely return next time in Phu Quoc.
James G — Google review
What can I day about this place, AMAZING!!! the two dishes there serve are incredible, so tasty and fresh. Not sure if it's a couple who run the place but both are so so friendly. My wife and I absolutely loved it, we loved it so much we're going to go back for breakfast again. They're only open fro. 0600-1200 so get down there early you'll not be disappointed!!!

Pho Sai Gon is a popular dish in Phu Quoc, with many delicious restaurants located along April 30th Street. Visitors praise the authentic taste of beef pho, highlighting its tasty soup and tender meat. The reasonable prices make it a great value compared to other tourist spots. The simple English menu and traditional condiments add to the experience, making it a favorite for many visitors who plan on returning for more.
Stopped here to try their pho and it was delicious. The prices are a little higher than other places but still reasonable. The staff were friendly and attentive. Menu is small but the quality is good and fresh. Very tasty overall and I highly recommended

2025.8.3 Not the best pho I have. The noodles are coarse and the sliced beef is tough. The saving grace is the broth. Even the stewed beef is pretty diluted.
L Y — Google review
Pho Sai Gon - Exceptional Broth Makes This a Must-Visit Pho Sai Gon serves exactly what I look for in great pho - a crystal clear yet intensely flavorful broth that truly stands out. While the meat selection (including heel muscle, brisket, and chopped beef) is good quality, it's that killer broth that keeps me coming back. The restaurant maintains excellent cleanliness standards, with convenient garbage bins placed beside every table for easy disposal. This attention to both flavor and hygiene makes Pho Sai Gon my top choice for pho in town, and a place I'll definitely return to on future visits.

Hủ Tiếu Mực Tư Hường is a clean and well-maintained restaurant that offers a variety of tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The menus are available in both English and Korean, catering to diverse customers. The seafood noodles soup is a popular choice, along with the shared large platter accompanied by sides. Additionally, the three sugarcane juices complemented the meal perfectly.
Wow wow we have had 3 unforgettable meals here. Food is amazing, everything so fresh. Chef owner is so vibrant and willing to explain how the ingredients are put together to make amazing meals. I have a fish allergy so have to be careful of anything added during cooking. Nothing was too much trouble. We even had lessons in how to eat the food to enjoy it to the max. Wife loved the rice paper so the owner rang her supplier and had two packs delivered whilst we ate so we could take them home. Prices are incredibly great value.Originally saw this Resturant on a You Tube video so had to visit following a glowing review. So so glad we did. Please give her a try you will certainly not regret your visit.

Really good and unique vietnamese food. Owner makes her own special sauce and the platter to roll up ingredients has a great and different combination I've never had. The mango added into the ingredients was nice and the crunchy fried rice paper and spring rolls. My Son 1: THEIR FOOD IS THE BEST. The spring rolls are perfectly crunchy. Their Dac biet cuon/special roll is the best. One of the places to get local Vietnamese food. Their noodles are good, nothing special though. I missed spices in bullion, it felt a bit plain. What I really liked were their fresh spring rolls - a perfect balance of ingredients (shrimp, beef, rice noodles, veggies). Staff speak English what is a plus if you’re tourist! Atmosphere could be better, it feels more like kitchen than a restaurant.

The Rice Market - Regent Phu Quoc is a delightful dining establishment offering a wide array of delectable dishes. This Asian restaurant in Phu Quoc provides an extensive selection, ensuring that there is something to please every palate. The meals are expertly prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The staff members are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant dining experience.
Wonderful breakfast place - they have eggs cooked the western way in almost every fashion I can think of, a wide international spread though the highlight is the local breakfast selection. Food is fresh and tasty, presented beautifully and I loved the diversity. Breakfast is busy tho the place is nicely laid out with good space mgmt. It doesn’t feel over crowded. Service is immaculate. We also had dinner on the day of our arrival - local food done just beautifully with quality ingredients. Nicely done, team! It is easy to get the hardware right though to pair it with good design and service - kudos indeed!

Pleasant Vietnamese Dining at Rice Market (Regent Hotel) - Good Flavors But Mind the Wait Rice Market offers a comfortable Vietnamese dining experience at Regent Hotel with some notable highlights. The wagyu beef pho delivers good flavor though the meat lacks the visible marbling you'd expect. Their pancake stands out as particularly excellent - perfectly crispy without being oily. Service can be slow; we waited over 30 minutes for our food despite only two other tables being occupied. While no dishes were truly exceptional, the pleasant atmosphere and well-executed items like the pancake make this a solid choice for relaxed dining when you're not in a hurry. Just don't expect picture-perfect wagyu or quick service.

Very beautiful and classy place. The service was excellent. It was one of the better food experiences I've had in Phu Qouc. Bún quậy Kiến-Xây (A-C noodles) is a popular breakfast dish in Phu Quoc, known for its unique flavors and quality. This noodle soup is highly recommended by many, offering a perfect combination of taste and value. The Tho Truyen Thong variant, featuring prawn and squid in hot soup, is particularly praised for its amazing flavor.
Bit confusing at first, but after reading the menu on the wall, it becomes more clear. Ordered the To Don Gian, shrimp and fish patty , 40.000 d and a sugarcane juice 10.000 d. Credit cards are accepted. You're given a device that vibrates when your order is ready. But before you sit down make up your sauce in a small bowl, I just copied what everyone else was doing. The amount of rice noodles and patties were very filling and the taste depends on how much sauce you mix in. If it's too spicy the cold sugarcane juice helps cool your mouth. Was very busy, bus loads of people.
Stephen D — Google review
The concept of "quậy" here means stirring and mixing the noodles with seafood before eating. Additionally, diners mix their own dipping sauce using ingredients like sugar, chili, MSG, and salt. However, I find it surprising that Phú Quốc, famous for its fish sauce, does not incorporate it into the dipping sauce. This is a missed opportunity to introduce international visitors to Phú Quốc’s renowned fish sauce. The restaurant has a clean and airy space with fast service. However, the front desk staff lacks experience in advising customers on ordering. Overall, it's an interesting experience, but there is room for improvement.
Lee L — Google review
One of Phu Quoc's most popular seafood noodles with different branches across the island. The broth has an unique taste and they have a station where you can mix your own dipping sauce for the seafood. The service was efficient although lunch was busy. Highly recommended!
Linh N — Google review
Its pretty much self service. Food is good, and you gotta make your own sauce. It may take up to 20-25 mins until you get your noodles soup, so be prepared to wait. The sugarcane drink is really good.
Steve L — Google review
The noodles were probably one of the best we had in Vietnam, very fresh and tasty. You make your own dipping sauce and dose of the spice levels which is perfect. The staff does not speak much English so that can surely improve because there is a great opportunity to explain a bit better the process but you also have all the instruction on the wall as this place can get a bit busy. We had dinner in this place twice because it was just so good!
Natali T — Google review
Great experience. The young woman at the register was very kind and patient, explaining the food, recommendations on what to order and showed me how to prepare the special orange dipping sauce. As you wait, you watch the noodles freshly being rolled and cut. Very friendly atmosphere

The rice was stale, grilled prawns were dry and tasteless, and the fish was completely bland. Don’t fall for the fake positive reviews. The only redeeming item was their spicy transparent chili sauce. Would not recommend.

Had a great dinner here The staff were super polite and had a table for us right away. It didnt take long to get the order done. We ordered a seafood hotpot and the food came within 15min. It was fresh and yummy!!! I’d def recommend
Nhi L — Google review
Overall, the food here is decent—fresh and tasty seafood. The riverside seating is spacious and airy, and the service is quick. However, there were a few aspects of our experience that we were not satisfied with. First, when we wanted to order a small portion of rice to go with our meal, the restaurant only offered two options: a small bowl for 30,000 VND or a large bowl for 50,000 VND. What was frustrating was the staff’s attitude when we asked for just a small portion—they seemed displeased and tried to push us toward ordering the larger one. As a result, we couldn’t finish the rice, leading to unnecessary waste, which we didn’t want. Additionally, apart from the Hong Kong-style steamed grouper we ordered, there were no side dishes like rice, noodles, or rice paper to pair with it, making the meal feel incomplete. Second, the experience of selecting the fish was not smooth. I chose the smallest fish (around 700g) and had to wait quite a while for the staff to weigh it. Then, a male staff member told me to return to my seat and wait. Later, a female staff member brought out a large container and quickly informed us that the fish to be cooked was 930g. Since I couldn’t see the fish inside the container, it felt a bit unclear and not entirely transparent. In conclusion, the restaurant has strengths in food quality and ambiance, but improvements in service and menu flexibility are needed to enhance the overall dining experience. If you plan to visit, be mindful when ordering to avoid similar inconveniences.

The food is outstandingly delicious—fresh, aromatic, and truly authentic. The service is top-notch, and a special shout-out to the waiter Ky, who provided excellent suggestions and guidance on what to try. Moreover, the staff's attention to detail, like cleaning the fish and shrimp, was exceptional. We dined there multiple times and always found all tables occupied, testament to the fantastic experience. Both the food and service are truly exceptional and certainly worth the wait. I highly recommend this place!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Yuliia S — Google review
Not a good place for foreigners or non-Vietnamese speakers. The food quality was average at best, and the prices were quite high for what was served. Portion sizes were reasonable, but the value for money was not there. Ordering was a real challenge since no one spoke English, and I had to rely on a translator app. The most unpleasant part was almost being scammed — I ordered a vegetable dish that was never served, yet it appeared on the bill. When I questioned it, the waitress insisted it had been served and even claimed she had cleared the “empty plate,” which clearly made no sense as it was never on the table. After some back and forth, and with the supervisor stepping in, they eventually checked the CCTV and removed the charge, but not before creating unnecessary drama. Overall, the experience was stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant to tourists. It may be more suitable only for locals or Vietnamese-speaking visitors.

Lots of menu items we wanted were not available. Food took ages and was really not worth the price, especially compared to other eateries on the island.

Phu Quoc Pomelo Garden is a charming bed and breakfast located in the Ong Lang Beach district, just a short walk from Happy Farm PQ and the Phu Quoc Gallery of Contemporary Art. The property offers an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant, and comfortable accommodations with amenities such as air conditioning, hot water showers, and private decks with beautiful views. Guests can enjoy the serene garden setting complete with butterflies and friendly cats.
What started out as three days ended up being 10 Days of great accommodations. The best part of this place was the outstanding hard-working staff; Helping you with whatever you need. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and The accessible kitchen brings staff and guests together. Always fantastic in a place to stay. It has a nice large pool and there are motorbikes cheap to rent to get you around . If there could be one thing that was a minus it was a little ways from the beach but doable. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

This was probably once a beautiful resort but it isn't being taken care of anymore. The problems started before we had even arrived, when we found out that they gave away our room and had moved us into a "stone cabin", which was a lot less nice. Our room had several problems. We didn't initially have hot water, the mosquito net above the bed was very torn and ready to fall, no light on our deck, the fridge didn't plug in... We lost our key (first time this has ever happened to us!) and they didn't have a back up key. Their solution was just for us not to lock the door for the rest of our stay. The grounds were nice and the pool was clean, but you couldn't even buy water there. There is literally nothing for sale and they don't give you more water throughout your stay. Given how far the hotel is from everything, a stocked drink fridge would be really nice. They let us make our own coffee in the morning, at least. The young guy who seems to be running the place is really sweet and tried his best, but the owners need to invest in small things if they are going to maintain the property and keep reviews high.

When we booked the place we were not too sure about it, but oh boy we loved the place. Rooms were nice and clean (only minus for me was that there were no blankets which is something I kind of prefer), overall we loved the place. Hosts and the staff organized for all the quests a nice Christmas dinner and everyone was invited. Lovely surprise which did not disappoint.

This is a beautiful place in nature. If you are seeking quiet tranquility, this is the perfect spot for you! While it is a 25-minute walk or a 7-minute drive to the beach, bicycles are available at the resort for your convenience. The staff is outstanding, hardworking, and very helpful with anything you may need. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view of the garden.

This hotel is amazing! I came for a couple of days but stayed here for 2 weeks. Quiet, cozy, you wake up every morning with pleasure! And the houses with panoramic window create an incredible atmosphere! The grounds are very large and pleasant to walk around. I stayed with my dog and we were thrilled with the place and the staff! Would recommend!!!

Introduction: Our stay at this hotel was truly unique and unforgettable. While a few small details like grass trimming could use attention, they are easily overshadowed by the overall experience and charm of the place. The Hosts: What truly sets this place apart is the incredible family that runs it. Despite facing their own challenges, they pour their hearts into every guest’s stay, going above and beyond to make you feel not just welcomed—but part of their family. Their kindness and dedication are deeply touching. Facilities: The hotel provides a well-equipped communal kitchen, perfect if you enjoy cooking your own meals. Wi-Fi routers are placed smartly across the property, ensuring strong signal and fast internet even in a jungle setting. One note of caution: when booking trips via the hotel, transport is usually arranged—but the cost may only be mentioned the next day. It tends to be only slightly more expensive than Grab, so it’s a good idea to ask for the exact transport price beforehand to avoid surprises. Location & Nature: The houses are nestled deep in the “jungle,” offering an atmospheric and immersive experience. As expected, nature brings its "companions"—the insects and other small animals—but we had no issues inside our room, which was clean and well-prepared. Comfort & Essentials: All basic necessities were provided, and every effort was made to ensure our comfort and convenience, including bikes free of charge to explore the island. Final Thoughts: If you're seeking an authentic experience away from the tourist traps, surrounded by nature and the warmth of genuinely kind people, this is the place. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

We stayed for more than one week here, and aside from loving the place, we loved the stuff and overall ambience of the Homestay. Ming specially, he treat us so well and took care of us, becoming a friend by the end of our stay. Truly could not have enjoyed more our time here.

It’s an amazing place and I highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking for a calm relaxing holiday far away from the crazy city life. What I especially liked: there are free bicycles in the hotel, and you can use one to go to the market / bus stop / beach. The beach is quite close (20 min of walking, 10 min by bicycle) and it’s really good, clean calm water, not many people, good infrastructure. Also, there’s a supermarket, market and a bus stop in like 5-10 min far. There are buses 17 and 19 that can take you to many places for free. The owner of the place is amazing and always ready to help. The place itself is super clean, calm and beautiful. I loved waking up and going to the garden, seeing beautiful fruit trees and listening to nature at night. The swimming pool is warm (I guess there is some warming up system), which was also a good thing for me. In general, the place is chill, safe and it gives you vibes of staying at your grandma’s countryside house. The internet, electricity and water worked perfectly well. Though I have to warn you about a few things - there are some dogs not far from the place, some of them are kinda agressive and scary, they can chase you and bark at you. My daughter got really scared. Though if you use a bike / bicycle it’s not a big deal. Also we saw a scorpion on the road to the bus stop, mosquitoes are crazy sometimes and they didn’t let us sleep properly for a night or two. Except that, everything was perfect, I’d definitely love to come back!

Wanderlust Homestay, located in the An Thoi district of Phu Quoc, offers a 3-star garden stay and cafe experience. The property is situated close to Khem Beach and Sao Beach, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat away from the bustling tourist areas. Guests can enjoy amenities such as airport shuttle service, 24-hour front desk assistance, and reliable security throughout their stay. The homestay also provides WiFi access across the venue.
It was the best Hostel of our whole trip. In that low price range it's totally 5 starts-we paid only 12 Euros per night for a bungalow for 2 persons. It's more in the south of the island - there are beautiful beaches and less tourism, we loved it. And you can make boat trips from the port in the south, also to the beautiful little islands in the near. But you should rent an motorbike anywhere. The bungalows are big, clean and have aircondition. In the bathroom there are toothbrush, - paste, crest, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. There is also tea and coffee powder for free in the room. In the mini bar are normal prices as in the supermarket and you can buy the snacks out of the basket in your room. There's an cute inner courtyard and it looks modern and cozy. Theres also a safe in the bungalow but it's not screwed to the wall. The reception looks good, cute signs draw attation to plastic waste etc. You have wifi. And you can also order food there. We were totally impressed what we got for the little price! And the proprietress is a young very very helpful woman! She speaks very good English and helps you with every kind of question. She can book you a boat-/snorkeling trip, helps you finding vegetarian food etc. The only negative thing ist that it can get loud. It's directly on the side of a kindergarten and a road. And in Vietnam all the people on motor vehicles are honking. And the honks of the trucks are really loud. But in Asia we mostly sleep with ear plugs caused of the loud streets. We wanted to stay one night but we stayed for three and didn't want to go. After that we were disappointed by the other hostels in that price range - they definatly can't keep up! Thank you! We hope that some of you will support the young woman with her nice hostel. She really deserves it and there are not so many tourists in the south so I think it's not that easy to survive with a little private hostel.

Stayed here last 5 days. Blue, the young woman who speaks good English, is really helpful if a little shy. Decent and good food which is a blessing in this strung-along-the-road village where there isn't much to see or do. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. The accommodation itself is fine. Clean comfortable and good aircon. Hire a moto and you're sorted for visiting the beaches etc.

I will recommend here to everyone who is traveling to Phu Quoc. I haven't had any chance to stay here since there was a severe storm in Phu Quoc and my flight has been cancelled due to Phu Quoc airport closing down. My reservation's cancellation policy was 50% money back but they understood my situation and was willing to cancel the reservation for full amount of my reservation. I will indeed try to book here in the near future and thank them in person for the outstanding customer service!

If you're exploring Hanoi and looking for a delightful breakfast spot away from the usual pho, "Hanoi Coffee and Breakfast" is a must-visit. A good place for breakfast if, as a tourist, you're tired of having pho in the morning. We had a tuna sandwich, a chicken sandwich, coconut coffee, and the famous egg coffee. Incredible breakfast spread here from the hotel. It has the widest spread I've encountered in Vietnam so far. And most dishes were tasty. My family had dinner here on the last night of our stay. The stir fry dishes were surprisingly delicious, the pad thai was delicious. The glass noodle was well cooked as well, noodles were still springy and not dry. The pho bo soup was tasty. Pizza was smoky and tasty as well. Service was attentive, they have baby cutleries and plates, and baby sits. Overall we had very nice meals here.

The food was good, they had a nice array of fresh fruit with their breakfast buffet. I think it is quite overpriced for the island. They had a nice selection of pickled charcuterie type items. The noodle and dumpling dishes were tasty. I appreciated the fruit juice station as well. Service was a bit odd as they don’t clear any plates initially and then when the buffet is closing they make a mad dash to do so and you feel a bit rushed. I think our brunch timing was not ideal. Overall, good, but not the best value compared to other places with fresh offerings.

Sunlight Restaurant comes highly recommended for its excellent food and beverages. Visitors have expressed their satisfaction with the diverse menu options, including a special selection for vegetarians and a healthy drink menu catered to those on a diet. The establishment is praised for its value for money, offering delicious dishes such as Grilled Fish with Chilli and Salt & Crumbed Prawns and Vegetables. The service is exceptional, provided by English-speaking staff members in a clean and serene environment.
“Amazing experience at Sunlight Restaurant in Phu Quoc! The seafood fried rice was bursting with flavor, and I loved the perfect balance of spices. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The ambiance was cozy yet lively—perfect for enjoying fresh, local dishes. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Phu Quoc!”

A really good, really busy restaurant serving lots of incredibly tasty food from an extensive menu. Slightly off the main drag we found it by chance and very pleased we did, liked dinner there so much we returned for a late lunch the following day. Seemed popular with all nationalities (European, Russians and locals). One of the few places in the local area that actually had vegetable dishes on the menu!

I’m a seafood lover, and this was great. You choose fresh seafood and they bbq it for you. The ambiance and service is very nice. And prices are reasonable (in contract to high end luxury places)

Found this place on the 4-th day being in Phu Quoc. The best place to eat fresh seafood. Good price and perfect service. Red snapper and huge shrimps are awesome. Also give free compliments snacks peanuts and fruits. Staff is very friendly and speak English. Big advantage you can pay by debit card. A day before visited another place where we ate tasteless fish and were charged for peanuts we didnt ask for. Lol.

This seafood restaurant is a hidden gem! Fresh, delicious, and affordable seafood with a huge menu to choose from. Always busy - a sign of great quality. Friendly staff, a lovely owner, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. Close to the sea, perfect for a visit!

Good restaurant with welcoming staff. It might be slightly more expensive than places nearby, but food quality is good. Choice varies from Vietnamese to European and American cuisine. It’s not outstanding food, but still good. I can recommend Vietnamese crepe and grilled calamari. People also say their Tom Yum is good but I haven’t tried yet. Overall, I can recommend the place

Tonight my husband and I ate at Sunlight Restaurant for the umpteenth time. It was delicious again. The food there is fresh and really tasty. You can find everything on the menu, even if you don't like fish. Delicious Vietnamese is also possible. No problem. So don't hesitate and give it a try there. Recommended. But also talking about being recommended. If you are looking for a bungalow very close to the beach... also recommended. Bungalows are super clean and comfortable. You can also rent scooters, do small shopping in the shop, exchange money and book tours here. We will continue to use this regularly.

PH Rooftop Bar & Lounge, situated on the 5th floor of Phung Hung Hotel, offers a cool and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for groups of friends or families. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, providing great value for money. While the service may be hit or miss, the breathtaking views and overall experience make it worthwhile.
We booked in to this hotel, knowing nothing of An Thoi area or the hotel. This rooftop bar is easily the best thing in the town. The view is spectacular, across the bay, port and all the way to the hills and cable car in the West. You can watch the sunset. At night, it is visited by a comfortable number of people so always has a nice atmosphere without being overwhelmed. It is a major bonus to be able to sit there each night with a drink and the southern coast stretching before me. I love it. The staff are patient, very helpful, friendly and supportive. They take the duty of care very seriously for everyone visiting. The food is excellent (my son adored the seafood soup) and the variety and quality of drinks is outstanding. It is more expensive than local restaurants but less expensive than anywhere in Sunset Town or Khem beach.

Came on 6 Oct 5 pm. The atmosphere and lighting was just right. Was served by Uyen. Even though she was lacking in English language, she tried her best to communicate with us and get us the correct order. Good food, and fantastic scenery.

We are staying at Sunset Town and was looking for more of an authentic atmosphere and food option. This place did not disappoint! We went for lunch and may very well go back for dinner. We have two more weeks here so we will definitely be back a few more times. Get the pork chop breakfast! You’re welcome!! 😂🤘🏾 ps: whoever made my Cappuccino, the BEST I have EVER had! Seriously delicious!😋

Stopped by here during the day for refreshments. We had guava juice and passion fruit juice both were delicious and reasonably priced at 60,000. The atmosphere and views were amazing. Must stop for views of the island.

I tried the broken rice with grilled pork chop and fried egg – it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly marinated pork, runny egg, fresh pickles – everything balanced so well. Affordable but tastes like a premium meal! The pistachio gelato blew my mind – rich, nutty flavor, so creamy and smooth, just like authentic Italian gelato! The rooftop view is breathtaking – ocean, fishing village, and even the Hon Thom cable car above. Food + view = perfect combo! If you’re in An Thoi, this place is a must-visit. Great food, amazing gelato, and a stunning view-truly unforgettable!

Probably our favorite place on the south end of the island. I cannot recommend PH Rooftop Bar highly enough, even though I don't score the food or service very high. Still the value is 5-Star, as are the views and overall experience. Service is hit or miss. Relax, it's worth it. Simply put, you go here for the view. Everything else is a distant second. But damn what a view. It's actually inside a hotel, but they staff is very welcoming regardless of whether or not you're staying there. Sunsets here are incredible. Don't skip this place!

Hardy's German Bakery & Cafe is a prime spot located next to King Kong Supermarket, offering a wide selection of freshly baked bread and European coffee. The owners, Hardy and Gai, along with their family, put great care into their dishes. The menu is larger than expected, featuring artisan cheese that's definitely worth trying. Visitors can enjoy incredible cheeseburgers and thinly sliced ham sausage salad or opt for vegetarian options like sandwiches with egg instead of ham.

The cappuccino was rich and perfectly balanced, with beautiful latte art on top. And banana roll was fresh, flaky, and not overly sweet. The barista was super friendly and took time to explain their beans. The owner was super friendly😇

A must-visit coffee shop when visiting Phu Quoc! Cozy atmosphere with coffee aroma, soft lighting, and good taste in music. It was raining on the day I went, they turned on the air conditioner moderately, and the table next to me was chatting (not playing with their phone). Compared to the chaos and fraud on the famous traveler street, here is really civilized and kind. An unforgettable experience. I was relaxed here with coconut latte and delicious tuna sandwich! Thanks for your efforts guys!
Dao E — Google review
We had high expectations based on the great reviews, but were a bit underwhelmed. We tried the iced cappuccino and iced mocha—both were quite average. They tasted more watery and milky than expected, with very little actual coffee flavor coming through. Perhaps the Vietnamese coffee options would have been a better choice. On the positive side, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, the coffee itself didn’t quite live up to the hype.
