La Baguette is a vibrant cafe with outdoor seating that offers an extensive menu featuring sandwiches, soups, breads, and pastries. Located in Revelstoke, British Columbia, this charming spot specializes in freshly baked artisan sourdough breads and savory dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients. The menu includes a variety of delectable pastries such as buttery croissants, fruit tarts, almond croissants, and sweet or savory crepes.
This was an amazing experience! The food was fantastic, and the coffee was also excellent. Wonderful atmosphere, very clean bathrooms, and great service! Also, fair prices. Can't wait to visit it again!

After overnighting in Revelstoke we decided to try La Baguette for breakfast. Wow, it was so good that we timed our return trip to allow for a second visit. Both times I had the Brunch Plate: 2 over easy eggs served with bacon, Farmer sausage, pan-fries potatoes, crepe, baked beans, fresh fruits, whole grain toast & jam. Delicious and great value for $19.50! My wife had the Smoked Salmon Benedict the first visit and Maple Crepe the second. Both wonderful she said. Efficient service and laid back atmosphere. Highly recommended. Definitely will return if in Revelstoke again.
Steven O — Google review
What a great place! Every food we tried tasted awesome, and the coffee is excellent. The combinations are sometimes surprising and uncommon, but they go really well together. Best place I found in a long time!
Will P — Google review
We tried this spot on our long drive to Vancouver and absolutely loved it. We had the Montreal meat sandwich, French onion soup, Power Chai, iced latte, and blueberry matcha brioche. The sandwich and soup were delicious, and the sandwich was packed with beef and full of flavor. The Power Chai was refreshing, and the brioche was light, fluffy, and subtly sweet with blueberries. Loved the whole experience.

La Baguette is one of the highlights of Revelstoke for sure. The coffee has an amazing taste and it's served in a ceramic mug if you stay to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the place. I also love that they have french style items like Croissants, Eclairs and Baguettes. I was there three times and each time I was treated with courtesy and a smile! Thank you Cianan and your teammates for the attentive and friendly service!
Emmi P — Google review
Overall we really enjoyed our lunch here. We had the smoke meat sandwich and the mushroom pesto ciabatta. The sandwiches don't come with any side so did the poutine to share. All though they use cheese curds and the fries were pretty good it's definitely not worth the $6.95 add on. Way too much for the size so avoid. Both sandwiches were delicious but we liked the mushroom pesto one better.
Francis — Google review
What an awesome spot for a coffee and food. Very busy. But worth the wait The staff work fast and hard to help keep things rolling. I recommend a visit when in the area.
Henry F — Google review
Wanted to support a local shop versus going to something like Subway and immediately regretted it. Experienced unnecessarily rude service from the start, waited 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches that we were told were “pre-made” and no one had been in front of us, and then when I finally got my sandwich it was stuffed into a tiny box and ruined? We pass through Revelstoke a lot and will not going back after that experience.

Dose Coffee is a cozy and inviting coffee house in Revelstoke, BC, with a laid-back atmosphere and a focus on using natural wood elements and local, healthy ingredients. The cafe offers comfortable seating options including bench-like seating with bohemian pillows and diner-style chairs. Guests can enjoy carefully made espresso beverages or opt for healthy comfort food paired with free fruit-infused water. The cafe is popular among those seeking a quick caffeine fix as well as those looking for a leisurely lunch experience.
Great cafe. Visiting during the shoulder season so there is rarely a line. Delicious food with good quality gluten-free bread to substitute. Highly recommend the G.O.A.T and the coffee flights.
Claudia H — Google review
Dose Coffee is a fantastic spot in Revelstoke! The coffee was excellent — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A great place to grab a drink and relax if you're in town. Highly recommend!
Asaad A — Google review
Actually a 4.5. Got sent here by someone to pick up some of their beans. Ordered a latte which was pretty good. A cozy cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. Fun art and tshirts available for purchase. Quite busy so we waited a longish time. But the mountains are beautiful and I had nowhere to be so just soaked in the ambience. My traveling companion went back for a second cup later in the day.
Cheryl A — Google review
On our recent getaway to Revelstoke, we were excited to check out Dose Coffee. They have a large, dog-friendly patio, so we were able to take Mikki and Merlot with us. The coffee was great, they roast their own coffee. They have a good range of food items. We both had a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee. They also have a nice selection of baked goods. We bought a cookie to share later, and it was delicious! Plus they offer gluten and vegan-friendly options. We enjoyed it so much we went back again a second day for breakfast and coffee and cookies again. This time we each got our own cookies! No more sharing a single cookie! Dose is an Australian-themed coffee shop, as the owners are from Australia, and many of the staff that we met were Australian. The staff were great. You can buy their coffee to go at their location, and it's also available at other locations. They offer coffee flights, which we wanted to try, but we ran out of time. Next time!
Kim L — Google review
This place is so cool?! Apparently, it's a cafe by day and restaraunt (Alfred's) by night. We only got cold brews so I can't tell you very much about the food they served or the espresso drinks they make. But I can tell you the cold brew was very good and just what I needed, and the vibes? IMMACULATE.
Janus K — Google review
Early Sunday morning in Revelstoke looking for a coffee stop…first 3 shops closed but found Dose Coffee. What a game changer! Excellent food (mushroom toast with added chorizo) and great coffee, wonderful staff and spacious seating area inside and out. Fresh baked cookies and a well stocked bar (for afternoon service). Beautiful views, can’t wait to return.

Nothing but great things to say about this place! The coffee was so well made (I had a maple cortado), the food was delish (I had a halloumi sandwich) and the staff was so nice! Cute little area of merch too!

Nestled at the foot of the mountain, Rockford Grill boasts stunning mountain vistas and exceptional service. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with global flavors, from apres-ski appetizers to delectable entrees. It takes pride in its wide array of BC wines, local beer, and innovative cocktails made with Revelstoke spirits. Situated near Grizzly Plaza, it's a popular choice for its value and varied menu.
Been here a couple times and it's always good. This time was our 20th anniversary. I was originally going to get a steak but saw the special come out to a different table and we both went with that! Half rack of ribs, deep fried chicken breast (which was amazing peice of chicken) fries and coleslaw for $24 Also shared a bruschetta which was good too. I had a couple dirty Martinis and the wife had a huge Cesar and a Glass of wine Sooo full. Definitely recommend. Only thing that sucked was watching the leafs lose game 7.😞Lol
Chris D — Google review
Unfortunately they use extremely cheap chicken for their chicken wings. They were completely composed of fat with no muscle which means they used the cheapest chicken possible (caged grown chicken). Comsidering its 20 dollars for 7 chicken wings I have to say I am very disappointed. Our waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere was good.
JLJ 6 — Google review
Honestly, food was overly priced, mediocre quality, and petit portions. The maui wowie burger was tiny (see how small next to the fries), the chicken wings were only 7 pieces, but to be honest, it was well flavored. The gyoza was 5 pieces and tasted ok. The chicken Cesar salad portion was ok. The only plus was the service and the waiters.
Ash — Google review
Great food, Great Service, Great Vibes what more do you need. I got the Crispy Spicy Chicken Burger and it was 9.5/10
Joel B — Google review
Food was actually really nice, and server was excellent. But I do have a problem with ski hills in B.C and how they always have construction going on. Every ski hill is always clawing their way to get more money despite already being billionaires and paying the staff not living wage. Anyways the noise was a bit annoying.
Courtney B — Google review
Really enjoyed our meal here. The outdoor patio was great for Covid friendly dining, especially on a sunny day. Prices reasonable for a resort, and the meals were well presented and tasted hot and fresh! Always a bit of a captive audience at a resort, but nice to get friendly service and good food... Calamari appy was really tasty too, a bit different than the usual.
The C — Google review
Solid option up on the hill. Took my husband for his birthday and overall enjoyed. Had the Tuna Poke Bowl which was good, but I would have rather had it on rice than couscous because it would have held up better I think. Also had the Outpost Burger which was actually excellent with that American Cheese and secret sauce.
Brittany H — Google review
Great experience, good attentive servers, always checking in to make sure everything was great. Wasn’t very busy but atmosphere was welcoming. Ordered tuna poke bowl 9/10, OG burger and fries 9/10. Kids ordered cheeseburger with fries and they ate every bite. Would come back forsure

The Taco Club is a lively Latin street food venue that offers a variety of seasonal tacos, burritos, and enchiladas alongside an array of tequila drinks. Originally starting as a food truck, it has now become one of the most popular spots in Revelstoke for modern Mexican dining and delicious margaritas. This place is great, the tacos were fantastic, we had beef and cod. The cappuccino & strawberry soda & churro dessert was also amazing. The service was great, friendly & helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed & good lighting, we sat inside but there is a patio. We came around 5pm & it was busy but not too busy. Good selection of drinks & food, definitely recommend.
Christina G — Google review
Stopped in for dinner. Nice little patio. Good food options. Great selection of drinks. Had the beef enchiladas. They were very good but should have had tacos as they were very filling. Freshly cooked came out sizzling. Recommend for lunch or dinner.
Richard W — Google review
We had a great dinner experience. Nachos and tacos were really good. Drinks were strong. The servers were attentive and kind, had great recommendations. And they gave us some birthday churros, and I think they were the best churros I've ever had.
Brianne L — Google review
Taco Club is situation on a bustling street in Revelstoke where you feel the culture of this town. We got the medium nachos as well as their house watermelon and avocado salad. The nachos were tasty, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of layering of toppings between the chips, everything was just on top. The salad was incredible, so bright and fresh, perfect on a hot day. Their margarita of the day was the strawberry which was fine.

Great spot in Revelstoke! The food at Taco Club is delicious and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend stopping by for a tasty meal in a welcoming atmosphere!
Chirag R — Google review
First place we checked as soon as we arrived in Revelstoke, after a 4 h drive we were starving and OMG, so glad we decided to try Taco Club. Food was amazing with so much flavor, staff was very friendly, we didn't have to wait because it was lunch time but the next day we came back for dinner and we had a 25-minute wait, and once again worthwhile, We tried a different dish and it was delicious. We spent 3 nights at Revy and we have already came back to Taco club 3 times (1 lunch & 2 dinners) Wet burritos with Beef were amazing and so filling, this place serves a lot of food, we also tried the empanadas and they're delicious. The Bowls and the club salad are really yummy too. As a plus, if u sit outside u can get some live free music from the corner. If u are at Revelstoke u have to try this place

The cafe's patio is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a dog-friendly environment where patrons can enjoy all-day breakfast options such as the West Coast Eggs Benny and vegan brunch dishes. The family-run establishment is known for its fantastic diner classics and generous portions. Despite potential wait times, the service is attentive and the food quality is top-notch.
Came here for a brunch break on the way to Kelowna, not disappointed! Nice little house, varied choice of sweet or savory dishes and the prices are attractive. The service was fast and welcoming. A short stroll afterwards in downtown Revelstoke which was very nice.
Greg D — Google review
My family of 4 and I came here for weekend breakfast. Waited about 5 minutes for a table before being seated outside. Service was verrrrry slow. It took close to 45 minutes for our 3 dishes to arrive after being ordered, and it wasn’t just us. That was the average wait time for the other tables around us. Once the server brought our initial round of coffee, she never returned, so we didn’t have a chance to order more drinks (which we would have during the long wait time). Once the food arrived, it looked great, but seasoning was lacking. We got an eggs Benedict, skillet dish, and basic breakfast dish. Overall it was more hyped up online than our actual experience here, but then again, maybe it was an unfortunately off day in the kitchen.
J C — Google review
The café has a really cozy and pleasant atmosphere – I truly liked it. It was quite busy when we visited, and we had to wait around 40 minutes for our orders, but we didn’t mind. The breakfast was delicious, and the portions were very generous. Overall, a great spot to enjoy a tasty meal in a warm setting.
Yuliia B — Google review
Had a fantastic brunch here! The French toast with apples and brie was absolutely delicious—perfectly sweet and rich without being too heavy. The eggs benny were also spot on, with a creamy hollandaise and crispy bacon. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly and quick. Great spot to relax and enjoy a satisfying meal—we’ll definitely be back!
Dylan L — Google review
I tried the Benny with BC smoked salmon along with a hot chocolate, and both were absolutely delicious. It’s always a joy to discover a place that serves food with care and flavour. I think it’s so important for us as community members to support local businesses like this because they’re the heartbeat of our neighbourhoods. My only small hope is that maybe one day there could be a little discount for locals, which would make it even more welcoming. Overall, a lovely spot worth visiting. Can't wait to try other business in town!
Jyn M — Google review
The flavours are insanely good! I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of the most delicious breakfast tofu dish. Must try.
Arushi B — Google review
Stumbled across this place while on a trip through Revelstoke! Sat outside and was in love with the vibe of the patio. Ordered the eggs benny and French toast, and both were absolutely delicious. The eggs benny was perfectly poached with a rich hollandaise sauce and came with a side of crispy potatoes that were seasoned just right. The French toast was next-level thick slices of bread with a golden crust. Everything was amazingly!!!
Erin L — Google review
This has quickly become my favorite breakfast/ lunch place in Revelstoke. I've only eaten outside, so I can't speak to what it's like inside but the service was great. Menu was fine, great even, and the ambiance was nice. Order the Huevos Rancheros! Awesome.

I had one of the best pies 🥧 can you believe it?!!! MUST HAVE IS THE AUSSIE MEAT 🥩 PIE! Absolutely 10/10 - but let’s talk about the place, cozy and great vibe. Food is amazing we had the Farm Daughter Breakfast sandwich that’s also fresh and delicious 😋 and scones and brownies and SO MUCH PIES. 🥧 you have to have the AUSSIE PIE. The people are great and friendly! Place is really well kept and I would recommend coming back here!

We stopped here on our long drive to Kamloops. It was the perfect place! Excellent service, the carrot cake was soft and tasty, our mocha was fantastic (perfect amount of chocolate and temperature). The owner came and spoke to us. Very reasonable price and glad we stopped here. Thank you! Forgot to take a photo before taking a bite. Whoops!
Dhruna M — Google review
Wonderful breakfast before leaving town. The modern breakfast and panini were big but not over filling and both tasted great. One of the pancakes was burnt but they took quick care of it and replaced it with two. The coffee and tea was great. The service was wonderful. They do a take out business which is good because there isn't a lot of seating. Great stop!

Not only is the food delicious, but all of the staff are absolutely lovely! We stopped in for breakfast after the farmers market today and are very glad we did. I have never felt so welcomed into any business in Revy. Everyone was so nice! I have also ordered a few custom cakes over the last few years and they always turn out beautiful and delicious. They have some of the best deserts in town! Thanks for having us and making our day today!! :)

Food was fantastic, I had a sausage roll, a scone, a large white choclate mocha and a Nanimo bar. The Nanimo bar was the best I have eaten over the lasr 40 years. I grew up in Revelstoke and worked at The Modern 8 years ago and recently visited to try all my favorite treats that I grew up on and they just aren't comparable now, the icing is so much less and the cakes aren't the same as they were. Heres a picture of what the carrot cake was previously and what it looks like now and its just not the same. The breakfast was delicious and the drink I had was good but I was very disappointed in my favorite baked goods being so drastically different.

The cafe is known for its delicious eggs Benedict and flavorful soup and sandwich options. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch, this cafe has it all. This place opens early, and serves REALLY generous portions! We ordered the “Papa Bear” (3 pieces of French toast topped with fresh whipped cream and seasonal berries) and the Lumberjack Slam, and we were shocked by the size of the portions. The food is unpretentious, hearty and tasty, and perfect for when you are headed out for a long day of activities. Service is friendly and homey. Would recommend especially if you are hungry.

Most of the food was amazing. I loved the Fluffy and thick French toast. The pancakes were also delicious. I ordered a medium rare steak and got a very well done steak, if the steak was medium rare, this would've been a 5 star experience. The service was good and the owner was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend eating here if you want great food.

This is the breakfast my husband and I have been looking for. I had the Big Bend Hot Cereal with a Fruit Cup. It was hot fresh oatmeal with raisins, pumpkin seeds and coconut. The fruit cup had fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries. My husband had the Basic with ham, sausage and bacon. All the meats appear to be locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The toast was locally sourced from bakery. The potatoes were hand cut cubes with onion. Very good. The decor is antique, old photos of mining, climbing and railway. The music is country folk. I highly recommend this location if you are in revelstoke and looking for breakfast. Well done Big Bend.

Stopped in here for breakfast and it was delicious. Cool spot close to everything downtown and the food was definitely worth coming back for, homemade vibes.
Ashley W — Google review
Good place for some breakfast and a mimosa. Cool 'prospector' vibe. They should invest in real maple syrup instead of the little fake plastic packs, this is canada! The bacon and home fries are really good quality. Coffee was a little weak, but I like that they leave the carafe on the table.
Patrick O — Google review
I have mixed feelings on this one. We showed up as a group of 4, had to wait 10 minutes when we saw a table for 4 inside that was unoccupied. Anyways, once seated and orders placed we waited for an hour to get our food when it didn’t seem that busy. Also one of us ordered a coffee which never came, and 45 minutes after waiting we asked our waiter (an older gentleman) if the coffee was coming as it had been a while and he realized he had forgot to bring it. Once the coffee hit our table it tasted like hot water, the coffee was so weak we were sure they gave us the wrong thing. They gave us a new coffee canister and it repeated to taste like hot water. Probably the weakest coffee any of us have ever had in a restaurant. Anyways the food arrived 60 minutes later total, it was underwhelming by that point. I really enjoyed my mama bear with French toast, bacon, eggs and homemade sausage. However my peers weren’t too happy with their burnt toast and cold hashbrowns. I think we wouldn’t have minded the wait if we were told up front they were low on staff or whatever it was that made the order take an hour. I’ve been a cook myself for over a decade so I get it, but communication and kindness goes a long way. Which unfortunately our older server didn’t do. However the young ladies working seemed like they were doing their best to keep things afloat!
Paris P — Google review
What a great place and good options for either the budget friendly or people looking for a fancier breakfast. I'll definitely be back here for another round. He also drops you off a whole pot of coffee for yourself and had a rad hot sauce collection to use as well. My breakfast sandwich was 10$ and 1.80$ for the pan fries to be added. You can't beat prices like this.

The service was great!, the place is so unique, they have old/ antiques for decoration, we order bennys and meat lovers eggs, the portions are really big!, the service was fast and they have a lot of hot sauce!!! Terra Firma's Kitchen is a café in Revelstoke, British Columbia that takes pride in using local and organic ingredients to create their dishes. Inspired by the stunning BC landscape, their menu highlights fresh produce sourced from the surrounding area. The restaurant offers an array of delightful options such as mushrooms and herbs foraged locally, vegetables straight from the garden, and artisanal cheeses crafted nearby.
Stumbled upon this place as Revelstoke was a pit stop during a long drive home. Wife has celiac so looked this place up and it said this shop has the best GF bread. As advertised, it was. My wife had a really nice sandwich. I had the barnyard burger which was super delicious as well. The breads they sell and use are simply one of the best I've veer tasted. They also used local, farm to table ingredients. Small little shop with a great buzz and vibe. Highly recommend.

The place was packed. And there's a reason - the food and drinks are so yummy. It's awesome. Service was great even though there was the perpetual long line(s). The pulled pork panini was just so flavorful. The iced latte was delectable. Gotta go back soon.

What a gem. It may not look like much on the outside but the food and coffee is pretty amazing. The burger patty was nothing special but the bun and the house made tomato sauce was great. The toppings tasted fresh. The cinnamon sugar donut was fresh and tasty. Great place for a quick bite.

The gluten free bread was amazing! It looked so good we had to double check that it was actually the gluten free bread. Good was fresh and yummy. Service was quick. Great stop on our long driving day.

The staff were friendly and food was delicious. The bacon breakfast sandwich on their homemade sourdough bread was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've had. We also had a slice of apricot, almond pie, which was fantastic. A great crust, unique flavor that balanced the tartness of the apricot well, without making it really sweet like many places would have. We will definitely be stopping here again on future trips through the area.

What can I say - the perfect place for people who loves quality food, fresh bread and pastries. That's a must go! I had the oatmeal and it was delicious

After hitting the road without eating breakfast we got to Revekstoke and found Terravita. The menu is extensive for a bakery, there ready made goods are also plentiful and on display. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was incredible too. No surprise as to why it was a busy place and the wait was short! This is our new stop in Revy!

Honestly surprised by all the top reviews here. We found it very mid! The pros: The serve at the counter was amazing, the lovely person taking my order was a pleasure. Pancakes are tasty and fluffy, and lattes were delightful especially the Caramilk one The cons: The pancakes, although good, don’t come with any butter and very little syrup (cause it’s the good stuff!) so they end up dry. Butter would make these 10/10, and more syrup on the larger stacks. The breakfast sandwich - also very dry. Nothing on the bread and no seasoning, but the actual items were cooked perfectly and good quality. The egg and sausage breakfast was a mix. The toast and eggs were great, the sausage is more like kielbasa which I wasn’t expecting and don’t really like much. The potatoes were good and the only thing truly well seasoned. A small nit picky thing that will matter to some but not others is they make homemade ketchup which sounds great but is truly just crushed tomatoes and that’s not what I want on my potatoes lol. Not a fan, and would have ordered differently had I known I couldn’t have normal ketchup. The plus side is my partner used it for his dry sandwich, which improved it a bit. Lastly, the service after the counter doesn’t exist. You are asked to tip up front before knowing how the service will be, and nobody comes to check in to see if your food is good or if you need anything, which imo means I shouldn’t be tipping 18% - I would not tip that at a fast food place that drops my food at the table. I am a pretty high tipper normally, 18% is on my lower end, but if you’re only getting minimal service the tip standard should be lower imo. I’d come back for baked goods, bread and coffee, but would Probably get my breakfast elsewhere.

Start your day at La Petite Baguette, conveniently located near the Revelation Gondola. This charming cafe offers a variety of delectable treats, from their exceptional coffee to freshly baked goods. Their grab-and-go lunches are specifically designed to provide you with energy for your outdoor adventures. Additionally, they also carry essential groceries for your convenience.
The service was outstanding, the cashier Josh was so kind and selfless. He asked about our day and gave us top tips on where to travel to. 10/10 we would visit again for the service alone.

Disappointed.... Great food but they need to work on their service. Watched my wife eat her order while they lost mine three times. Disappointing to see the least. Only after I threatened to cancel my order did my food turn up and got it to go. No offer of compensation is really what drove me to give a very poor review not that I would have necessarily taken it but it would have been nice to ask especially since I gave them an 18% tip when I ordered not knowing that they would screw up my order. The tip is for service as much as the food. Disappointing but I don't think judging by other reviews that I'll see any messages from the owners regarding it.

$10 grilled cheese, not even cut in half, no ketchup, no pickle, no knife ... yes, thats why I asked for those things, sorry to bother you girl... I don't know what to say. Pretty disappointing to drive all the way up there and that's what you get. Bland AF and like one thin slice of cheese. Whatever happened to caring?
Laura E — Google review
The food was amazing and it’s so conveniently located next to our hotel. Place was clean and atmosphere is nice. Staff is polite. 3 stars for that! We visited morning of Tuesday, August 19th, a little after 9 am. Only 2 people working. We waited in line then when it was our turn the lady stepped out to make people’s orders. Then we were “first” in line for about 15 min and then waited maybe another 10 for the food to be ready. Our family was serviced just before us so the wait for everyone to start eating together was not good, and trying to find clean seats next to them was a fail. The 2 people working there are very nice, though they were so busy and looking a bit stressed. I just feel bad that whoever takes care of this place is leaving it understaffed. Waiting over half hour for a bagel is not worth the wait despite everything else being good, it definitely hurts the experience. Again, the staff was great, the complaint goes towards the ones responsible for the place.
Milena N — Google review
Coffee was good but 30 minutes is an unreasonably long time to wait for an americano. My friends were also given the wrong size (8 oz instead of 16 oz) and I heard another customer saying the same thing happened to them.
Kim W — Google review
We visited on Aug 10, 2025 around 8:30am. Staff member (person taking orders) was outright rude. On top of that, we waited 30 minutes for an americano, and 45 mins for a mixed drink. Someone else in our group got the wrong size on their order. Unless you like having the wrong order, waiting forever, and the staff being rude to you. Save yourself the time and don't come here.

The family wanted to try something other than fast food on this leg of our BC road trip, and we happened upon this place at a fuel stopover in Revelstoke. Quickly giving it a Google, it seemed like a quaint place to try. Unfortunately we regretted it. Not that that food was bad, it was good for what it was, however, the price to satisfaction ratio isn't good. First impressions: First off parking is very limited, with a few spots in a shallow lot with relatively dicey access if coming from the opposing side of the road. It is free however, and there is some street parking to be had. Once we parked and entered, we were greeted by a line that came right to the door, with written instructions to take amenu and order at any of the tills. And since the main till was backed up, we decided to try the bakery/coffee side; which was in the process of closing (at 3:30pm?). We were told to go back into the main line, with only a single point to order and pay, and one staff member managing the ordering, payments and also fetching orders from the kitchen. Needless to say it was a very, very slow process. In terms of seating, there are a few tables a bar height area, and larger tables reserved only for parties of 4 or more. And the vibe falls in the range of a chill cabin in the mountains. However as nice as the decor was, small things like the dish collection area on the patron facing side of the coffee/drinks bar, makes for a relatively unsightly experience. The facilities are relatively clean, but are located at the center of the building, which means that in order to use them, one has to either walk around the forming line, or cut through waiting patrons. And when the line extends to the door, it makes for inconvenient paths. The food: Once one manages to place an order and pay, we sit and wait until a name is called, and upon observation, one either gets the food delivered to eh table, or one has to walk up to receive it. It didn't seem consistent while we were there. The food came wrapped in paper bags, and napkins and such are self served, as well as water. We ordered a club sandwich, a spinach and cheese pie and a few West Coast bagel sandwiches. I also gave one of their lattes a try. The sandwich did feature fresh ingredients, the salmon in the bagels was tasty and the veg were crisp. However for the price, the food was just fine. As was the latte. Maybe we caught them when they were understaffed, or had an off day, but it was a lot of time queueing for some pricey sandwiches and drinks that were only quite ordinary. I found myself frustrated by this experience, to the point that I didn't even remember to take photos for this review.
Dez L — Google review
Overpriced food, all seems not fresh or homemade, like they pre bought Costco croissants and added toppings, and unfortunately no baguettes. The gelato was okay and way too expensive for the taste, wouldn’t recommend unless you’re crazy rich I guess, but if you have that money you should buy something better.

McDonald’s is a well-established fast-food chain recognized for its classic burgers and fries. It's also a convenient spot to grab coffee or snacks while using their WiFi. The drive-thru service is efficient, with friendly staff serving hot and fresh food. While some customers have noted occasional inaccuracies in their orders, the overall experience has been positive, especially with clean facilities and quick service. However, there are suggestions for improvement such as extending operating hours and maintaining cleanliness in the bathrooms.
Staff was friendly and made our food quickly without any mistakes. Dining in was an enjoyable experience as well. It wasn't too loud even though there was a good amount of people inside. It was also really nice how they kinda just left us alone since we were waiting 4+ hours for someone to pick us up (our car broke down!)—we were initially worried we'd get kicked out for being a bunch of bums 🤧 My only complaint is that the bathrooms aren't all too clean. There was toilet paper all bunched up on the floor in the stalls as well as under the sink, and one of the napkin bins in the women's washroom was on the floor. But other than that, the place is fantastic for a quick bite 😊

Entire store is very dirty. From the tables and benches to chairs and floor. All ledges around windows are thick with grease, dust and food particles. No paper products or soap in the bathroom. Note on door says they value the cleanliness or bathroom but the check off sheet was blank. Can’t image what the food prep area looks like.
Glenda S — Google review
WTH McDonalds! While the service attendant was friendly, paying $5.95 for a half filled cup of liquefied caramel flavored slop, with white chunks of something that does NOT resemble cheesecake, is atrocious. This McFlurry was inedible trash.
Kylie T — Google review
Probably the worst fries I’ve ever had at a McDonald’s — barely any salt and completely bland. The front counter staff were polite and friendly, but the kitchen seemed quite disorganized. Several customers were complaining about their orders, and we ended up waiting almost 20 minutes for a simple meal. The only reason we stopped by was because it was lunchtime and we needed to use the washroom
Hanna S — Google review
Absolutely pathetic service! Ordered a spicy McVeggie, received with hardly any dressing after waiting for over 30 minutes!
Bhavya B — Google review
I don’t like the staff and their behaviour I had been working in McDonald’s from 3 years and we are asked to give at least 1 mayo woth each meal but they didn’t give us any. Moreover they didn’t even give us any pouch. We were asked to pay for the mayonnaise. And the order was of 100 dollars. I wonder why they can’t even give us the mayonnaise. Hope so the owner will see the review and work on his franchise. Thanks.
Sukhchain K — Google review
This is 5th time that this has happened to me. Everytime we tell them to make fries fresh they always give the worst fires I have ever had. They were soggy as hell. It’s like 3am and when you get tired of driving and you get this kind of food which you paid for is very big disappointment. We pay them and they can’t even give the food we want is just not worth it. It was a guy who took our order this time and I made sure that I was very clear with the FRESH FRIES order. Very big disappointment.

Ordered the Sweet Chili Junior Chicken and the Spicy McChicken. The buns were fresh, and the chicken was well-cooked. Staff were friendly, service was fast, and the restaurant was clean. Overall, a great value for a quick and tasty meal.

A&W Canada is a fast-food establishment that specializes in serving its signature root beer along with burgers, chicken, and fries. This particular location offers both indoor dining and outdoor seating, which has been recently renovated. Additionally, it provides separate washrooms for men and women as well as a family bathroom. A unique feature of this place is the sinks located outside the bathrooms for handwashing before meals. They offer an extensive selection of handcrafted beverages, including nitro cold brew.
Excellent quality, juicy and fresh If you are passing thru Revelstoke and want a quick meal then A&W is your best option. Of the big chains, theres really no comparison. Burgers and chicken are juicy and high quality. Onion rings are delicious and hot. Icy root beer mugs chilled and ready for you. Excellent product quality and friendly staff make this location a no brainer . 👍

Convenient location to stop with kids because it's located right across from a little Community Park. There's a drive-thru option but also plenty of parking if you want to stop and eat inside or outdoor seating for those that want to enjoy sitting outside. They even have sun umbrellas. Lots of different seating options including high top tables, booths and tables with pull out chairs, or counter seating. It appears to be newer or at least recently renovated. Would not hesitate to stop in again.

The food was good and the service was friendly. Not many fast food places get 5 stars from me but I witnessed the staff handle a couple of difficult customers very professionally. That I is what added the extra star.
Dave B — Google review
my family came and spent over $50 at this a&w drive thru. we only asked for 1 modification for our order; extra pickles on my chubby chicken burger. at the drive thru i asked for 10 pickles, i usually do this so they give me more than just 3 slices. the person taking our order repeated the instruction back to us and when we got our food, there were 0 pickles and i didn’t even see the mod added to the receipt. meaning it was the fault of the drive thru attendant, not the kitchen, who looked less than pleased to be serving us today. terrible experience 0/10 (just like my pickles)
Reese T — Google review
Visited July 25 around 5:00 pm. This entire place was disgusting. Tables all dirty/sticky (pictures not doing justice here), floors sticky, trash overflowing, and the bathroom was also gross. At least there are sinks so I could wet a paper towel and clean off a table for myself before I ate. They weren’t very busy, idk why it was like this. Would be a really nice modern A&W location if the staff would care to maintain it.
