The new mini suspension bridge offers great views. Gravel trails make it tough for strollers. Pipe Mountain Coaster was fun with a short wait. I gave it 3 stars. There isn’t much for a family looking to sightsee.

Great time on the pipe coaster and the new suspension bridge is a nice and easy 0.5km hike from the upper gondola. The restaurant at the top has good food and amazing views. Buy the 3-attraction Adventure Pass online the day before for best value, you can then do the suspension bridge and both of the pipe coaster tracks.

Beautiful resort with lots of activities to have fun. Mountain coaster, Gondola, Mountain biking, hiking, swimming pool, hot tubs, saunas and great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. Only negative is the noise from construction of a new building that starts at 7am until 5pm. When you get a room, ask them to be sure to give you a room away from that area. We couldn't have our door open or sit on the balcony because the noise was too loud.

Visited while passing through from Kamloops to Canmore. We were looking for a way to appreciate the mountains and this did not disappoint. We didn’t have a ton of time as it was a long driving day, but we took the gondola to the top and walked the High Line trail. It has a fantastic viewing platform and suspension bridge. All the staff we interacted with were so kind and welcoming. I would suggest buying tickets online prior to as there was a 10% savings on the admission we missed out on by buying ours at the counter upon arrival.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Revelstoke Mountain Resort! The gondola ride offered stunning views of the mountains and valley, and the mountain coaster was absolutely thrilling — fast, fun, and safe for everyone. The area is clean, well-organized, and surrounded by beautiful nature. A perfect place to enjoy adventure and relaxation in one spot.

Rustic cabin located down a narrow winding road. We were in cabin 5 which was at the end of the road nestled in the trees. The cabin has a full size fridge and stove with cooking pans, plates, utensils etc. No other amenities. Had a nice big TV.

First time visiting this place and we came from Edmonton. We purchased the 3 adventure pass cause I wanted to try the sightseeing, the coaster ride and the aerial place. The view was nice and cold, took a lot of pictures there. The coaster ride was nice actually, and apparently track 1 is best (you’ll just have to find out why) and the aerial was fun and tiring. Will definitely come back cause I haven’t really explored the small commons there

I’m not a great train lover but this museum was fabulous - lots of information about the building of the CP Railroad through the Canadian Rockies. There are old carriages to sit in and see the menus travellers of yesterday enjoyed. Plenty of videos to sit down and enjoy of the railroad from when you need a break from reading. Excellent and I’d revisit.

The museum tells the many stories of the Canadian Pacific railway in western Canada's mountains. Since opening in 1993, the museum has entertained hundreds of thousands of visitors. The many exhibits cover a variety of different aspects of the railway system. According to the museum, the average visit lasts about an hour and a half. We were there for 3 hours. The museum is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and an elevator to move between galleries. However, the heritage vehicles are not wheelchair accessible. The outdoor yard is partially paved and a covered gazebo is available. There are very clean restroom facilities inside the museum.

Excellent compact railway museum with an excellent telling of the history about Canadian Pacific railway. The mainline runs by the museum and carries freight trains. Remember to take a CAD2 coin to go on the simulator. The staff will exchange for a note if you’re not carrying change. The museum continues outside with locomotives and caboose (guard’s van) and has a decent souvenir shop.

I was surprised that there was so much to see! Enjoyed learning about the history of the Canadian Pacific Railway and Revelstoke's place in railway history. I especially enjoyed the models, which helped me understand the complexity of what it meant to build the railway

Such a lovely way to spend a few hours on a rainy day. Lots to see for a great price. Definitely worth stopping if you are in the area.

Train lovers will love this museum. We thoroughly enjoyed going into the train cars and all of the history. Such a cool experience.

This was an amazing pool. I like to go to swimming pools after a camping trip to get clean again and have a different kind of exercise.NOTE: IF YOU DO THIS, ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SHOWER AND SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR BEFORE YOU GET INTO THE SWIMMING POOL. Anyway, I loved the facilities! They opened at 7 AM (Google maps said 8:30 so I hope they correct this), so by being early, I had a lane to myself. The hot tub was a nice finish to my swim. I noticed that the deck and walls are enlivened by wilderness decor, including mountains, spruce trees, and even a bald eagle. The staff seemed competent and attentive.

Such a great place for a swim. You get access to diving board and rock climbing to jump into water. There is also a slide which gets open time to time. Hot tub and sauna is a plus but the lap pool is definitely where its at

When we visit Revelstoke, we love coming here at least once. 1 star off, as it seemed half the lazy river jets were not working.

Amazing pool with the exception of 1 lifeguard who chewed my wife and I out for walking our 4yr boy up to the waterslide (first time being there) When we tried to explain what we were doing and why she began to yell and say if he can't climb stairs maybe he shouldnt be going down the slide..had you been a parent I feel you would understand that sometimes kids just want to be assured. I can tell you we were not breaking any said rules that this lifeguard freaked out. I hope this young lady of a lifeguard gives herself a reality check and doesn't always speak to adults and kids the way you spoke to us. Lucky for her my children were there or I would have had a few other choice words for her. Maybe your glasses need cleaning or your bun was too tight ? Check the attitude lady, even my kids commented on how rude you were.

Purely speaking of community center. No microwaves for Canadian residents to heat up their food. Not a crime but should have provisioned it. The library was dead :) and no one was working.

Awesome public facility right beside the river. Benches and picnic tables nearby. The pool is amazing.

Paid $6CAD for the aquatic center. It included a heated pool, hot tub, lap pool, water slide, steam room, sauna, and a shower! Totally affordable for a fun day at the pool.

Pizza is great! Open later and busy! Pizzas on every table it seemed! looked amazing so we ordered the meat with onions and mushrooms. Everyone enjoyed The mussels were fantastic best white garlic sauce I’ve had! Sorry people dug in before photo! Busy places have good food! Eat here, when you’re in the area! Great atmosphere and happy friendly staff. I’ll be back!

Very interesting place. There is so much going on. There is so much to look at while you wait that you forget how much time has passed— although wait for food wasn’t that long even on a busy Saturday night. The place was packed! We waited 10 or so minutes for a table. Menu is simple and fun. Something for everyone. Pizza that we got was interesting mix of ingredients it was called ‘The Goat’. Never tried such a pizza. Wasn’t even sure if I liked it or not but I ate the whole thing. The perogies I would not recommend. Very flavorless.

This place was great. Food was great and timely all around. Pizza crust was amazing, and the kitchen sink burger was epic. Chicken strips were great. Nachos piled high. Would eat here again.

Nice local pub/restaurant. Great service from the team, quick and friendly. My son had a burger and complimented it a lot so thats saying something. I had the sweet and sour soup and it also was very good. I definitely would order it again. The place was busy but not too loud we were able to hold a clear conversation. Recommended.

Such good pizza. I went for the White Buffalo this time, delicious! Definitely recommend getting a dipping sauce, to enjoy the hearty crust. 5/5 Can't wait to try the next specialty pizza 🍕

Stopped in for dinner. Nice little patio. Good food options. Great selection of drinks. Had the beef enchiladas. They were very good but should have had tacos as they were very filling. Freshly cooked came out sizzling. Recommend for lunch or dinner.

We had a great dinner experience. Nachos and tacos were really good. Drinks were strong. The servers were attentive and kind, had great recommendations. And they gave us some birthday churros, and I think they were the best churros I've ever had.

Taco Club is situation on a bustling street in Revelstoke where you feel the culture of this town. We got the medium nachos as well as their house watermelon and avocado salad. The nachos were tasty, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of layering of toppings between the chips, everything was just on top. The salad was incredible, so bright and fresh, perfect on a hot day. Their margarita of the day was the strawberry which was fine.

First place we checked as soon as we arrived in Revelstoke, after a 4 h drive we were starving and OMG, so glad we decided to try Taco Club. Food was amazing with so much flavor, staff was very friendly, we didn't have to wait because it was lunch time but the next day we came back for dinner and we had a 25-minute wait, and once again worthwhile, We tried a different dish and it was delicious. We spent 3 nights at Revy and we have already came back to Taco club 3 times (1 lunch & 2 dinners) Wet burritos with Beef were amazing and so filling, this place serves a lot of food, we also tried the empanadas and they're delicious. The Bowls and the club salad are really yummy too. As a plus, if u sit outside u can get some live free music from the corner. If u are at Revelstoke u have to try this place

Was visiting friends in Revvy and they said we had to check this spot out! They had a wide selection of tasty drinks and the Mexican food really hit the spot. Great patio with a central location in town.

The atmosphere was nice and lively when I went. There is a great patio. I had an excellent beer but the chips guacamole and salsa were not great. Service was passable.

Lots of little trinkets and tools from the forestry industry. Many larger machines and vehicles as well. A lot of interesting in here. Great viewing platform of revelstoke dam. If you're there during a rainy period you might catch the spillway siren and release

Interesting exhibits inside and out. Great collection of old timer logging kit and great sand pit full of old school tonka toys! Absolutely worth 5 dollars entry, lovely staff. highly recommend

A nice quick visit on the way to the dam. Entry is by donation and there's a great viewpoint beneath the dam.

We were pleasantly surprised. Interesting , informative museum. Displays inside and outside. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Small gift shop featuring local products. No fee, donation is optional. Worth a stop for sure.

The staff is professinal introducing the artist who will have his exhibition on Thurday. The collection of art works were quite impressive with its high level of quality.

The RVAC is an amazing place for artists to find a community and display their work in Revelstoke. From longstanding Revelstoke residents to newcomers like me, the amazing people working there make it inviting for artists of all levels to create and share. The gift shop is an amazing way to take home a piece of Revy and show support for the local arts scene. While you're at it, take a look at an exhibit and check out one of the amazing workshops if you're in town for a while. Thank you RVAC!

Getting tickets at the site was a breeze and efficient. Gondola is smooth sailing. Restaurant at the top is very underwhelming, I expected a little more. You order and grab your own food at the window— kind like food court style. There are three trails at the very top. We didn’t do them because we came at the end of the day so we didn’t want to risk missing the last gondola down. Just quickly went to the waterfall one. Took us 20 min or so round trip. The pipe roller coaster was scary but fun. I must say the staff work so hard there. They keep the flow going like a well oiled machine. It was nice to see staff having fun with each other, helping each other out and giving each other breaks. Loading those carts seems like tedious work. We encountered many staff members and they were all pleasant. Unfortunately we didn’t get to explore all Of the area but I would recommend it to friends and family. The mountain biking seemed fun! Tons of parking available.

So much fun - pretty sure we screamed the whole time but was so great. Staff was 10/10. Went for a second ride and the ride had to shut down, we were bummed but were easily given a refund. No complaints - views were lovely, line went quickly, and staff paid attention to safety. Appreciate the staff for being very helpful and attentive.

My daughter and I had a great time doing it this morning. We arrived at 8:15 AM to get tickets and were the first down the ride when it opened. She’s eight years old and had a great time. It was so much fun that we actually extended it to three rides and tried both tracks. I preferred track one as the tighter turns on track two were uncomfortable for a heavier guy like myself. Second ride on track one I basically let it go with very little brake. The staff were all very helpful, particularly Rylee who got us going in the morning and started us on track two.

So much fun going down the mountain. Two tracks - one slower than the other. Ride the Gondola up and then line up for your ride down. Prices are reasonable. Get a photo of your trip down when you arrive at the bottom for a small charge.

We didn't have to wait long for the gondola, but it was off season apparently. The staff is friendly (love the accents) and patient.

Must try for youths. My kids loved riding. 3-5 turns suggested as the initials two always considered a paid trial. Weekends can be busy. Consider allotting half a day as each turn can take an hour long due to line ups. We did not like that we had listen to the same riding instructions riding each time.

Had the best day! Graeme was professional and fun, kept us feeling really safe. You can tell he takes his job seriously and has a lot of fun doing it. Totally beautiful views and nice bit of commentary on the landscape from our guide. I like knowing the names of the mountains and a little local history. Rapids were exciting without feeling at all dangerous. I didn't worry about falling in at all - we were given the option to go for a swim if we wanted to. I chose to stay in the raft, but maybe next time I'll swim Thanks Graeme and Apex!

We have a fantastic time rafting with Apex today. Their team was professional and well organized. Jason was a great guide who made us feel comfortable and safe. He has a great sense of humour and entertained us the whole time. Recommend sitting at the front - you will get very wet but it is worth it!!! A very fun experience that my son (15), husband and I all highly recommend. We will do it again!! Thank you to the entire Apex team for a wonderful experience!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Apex Rafting—easily a 5-star experience from start to finish! Our bus guide, Jay, was the perfect mix of professional and entertaining, making sure we felt informed, comfortable, and safe before we even touched the water. Once we hit the river, our raft guide, Cade, was equally amazing—professional, friendly, and full of fascinating stories and facts about the surrounding mountains, glaciers, and history. Booking was a breeze—payment and waivers done online in minutes. We arrived 20 minutes before departure, which was more than enough time to check in and get geared up (the bus ended up leaving after a short wait). The gear was in solid condition—especially the wetsuits and water socks—which kept us warm and comfortable. The river itself is gentler than Golden’s Kicking Horse River, but the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and worth every moment. Prices are a touch higher than Golden, but the experience, guides, and atmosphere more than make up for it. We even had two chances to jump in and experience the refreshing (and bracing!) glacier water—such a thrill. To top it all off, we finished the trip with fresh watermelon and cookies from the guides—a perfect ending. And unlike many other rafting companies, Apex includes trip photos for free (emailed to us the same evening), which was a wonderful bonus, even if the image quality could be improved. We chose Apex rafting for a late Father’s day trip and we had a blast! This was my first time whitewater rafting and I loved it. The staff were amazing and really added to the experience. Shoutout to Jay, our guide, for showing us a great time on the river and for being so knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Plus the complimentary snacks and photos at the end were a surprise bonus :)

June 11 — road still closed maybe 3-4 miles up from the entrance. Obviously all the alpine hikes also closed. Views from where it was stopped were good but almost exactly the same as our hotel balcony (Hillcrest).

Meadows in the Sky 🌿✨ Went up to catch the wildflowers, but they’ve already said goodbye for the season. Still, the views were pure magic. 💙 Can’t wait to hit the road again next year to see nature’s garden in full bloom! 🌸🚗

Was close around km 9, no signs indicating so. I'm guessing they tell you at the ranger station but I'm fairly sure they were on the bathroom break

We unfortunately went in June and it is my understanding that we should have done this more like July or August. Snow was still covering the top part of the road and fog made it impossible to see anything. We did make it to the fire tower but couldn’t get inside since it was locked.

We stopped here on our long drive to Kamloops. It was the perfect place! Excellent service, the carrot cake was soft and tasty, our mocha was fantastic (perfect amount of chocolate and temperature). The owner came and spoke to us. Very reasonable price and glad we stopped here. Thank you! Forgot to take a photo before taking a bite. Whoops!

Wonderful breakfast before leaving town. The modern breakfast and panini were big but not over filling and both tasted great. One of the pancakes was burnt but they took quick care of it and replaced it with two. The coffee and tea was great. The service was wonderful. They do a take out business which is good because there isn't a lot of seating. Great stop!

Not only is the food delicious, but all of the staff are absolutely lovely! We stopped in for breakfast after the farmers market today and are very glad we did. I have never felt so welcomed into any business in Revy. Everyone was so nice! I have also ordered a few custom cakes over the last few years and they always turn out beautiful and delicious. They have some of the best deserts in town! Thanks for having us and making our day today!! :)

Food was fantastic, I had a sausage roll, a scone, a large white choclate mocha and a Nanimo bar. The Nanimo bar was the best I have eaten over the lasr 40 years. The service was very friendly and very attentive. I truly felt special. If you are in need of great food, fantastic service and out of this world atmosphere you need to pay them a visit.

I grew up in Revelstoke and worked at The Modern 8 years ago and recently visited to try all my favorite treats that I grew up on and they just aren't comparable now, the icing is so much less and the cakes aren't the same as they were. Heres a picture of what the carrot cake was previously and what it looks like now and its just not the same. The breakfast was delicious and the drink I had was good but I was very disappointed in my favorite baked goods being so drastically different.

You got to stop by this bakery if in Revy. The baked goods are so fresh and made with very good quality ingredients. The service is super friendly, and the coffee was amazing. Patio seating is available.

I stopped by on a Saturday night about 30 minutes before closing, thinking it might be too late—but to my surprise, they happily seated me. The service was quick and attentive. I ordered the assorted tempura, which was light and crispy, and the nigiri, which was fresh and well-made. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. To top it off, the mango ice cream was a perfect way to end the meal. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

We were detoured in town for the night and made the best of it. Decided to splurge on the lovers sushi combo for our upcoming anniversary. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was so friendly and accommodating, atmosphere was cool and great tunes. Thanks for having us!

My mother wanted to go try Kawakubo in Revelstoke because of all the positive feedback she heard about the Japanese restaurant. I was reluctant to go because of her last experience with Japanese food. However, we really enjoyed our lunch there. We got a table inside, even though my mother wanted to sit outside, on account how cold the establishment was inside. I ordered the House Makimono, which I chose the Crispy Philadelphia and the Shrimp California rolls. They were both delicious, flourishing with fresh and flavourful ingredients. I think my mother had the Crispy California Roll and the Wonton Soup and she enjoyed both as well. I also liked how sophisticated our side salads were and that it came with deep-fried wonton strips. The establishment was mildly lit while retaining its Japanese aesthetic with oriental portraits and the shoji walls all over. The service was good; however, I felt were waited little longer than necessary for service. Also, the prices for most things on the menu were somewhat pricy for my liking. I would still check this restaurant out when you are in Revelstoke. This is a great Japanese restaurant that is worth trying.

loved everything! our server was excellent, her name is cheiko (i hope i get it right)…. it’s our first time in revelstoke and the restaurant was the best ♥️ karaage was superb, tempura, crispy philadelphia and avocado roll was heavenly, for dessert don’t forget to try the black sesame ice cream and matcha, it’s a must 😄

The best sushi and sashimi in town! The service is quick and superb. Our food was so fresh, delicious and some rolls were really interestingly curated! Try the watermelon roll! The sashimi samples was fabulous! Can't wait to go back

We came up a bit late and there is no queuing, also the food served fast. The service is typical asian waitress, no issue about it since it is also efficient. The food, i dont know but the rice donburi is taste like risotto, and the food mostly is fresh sour, using lots of lemon juice

I've had sushi countless times from dozens of different restaurants. This is, hands down, the best sushi my wife and I have ever had in our lives. The other ratings here speak for themselves. Bought a round of drinks for the chefs - that's how seriously incredible it was.

Unfortunately they use extremely cheap chicken for their chicken wings. They were completely composed of fat with no muscle which means they used the cheapest chicken possible (caged grown chicken). Comsidering its 20 dollars for 7 chicken wings I have to say I am very disappointed. Our waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere was good.

Honestly, food was overly priced, mediocre quality, and petit portions. The maui wowie burger was tiny (see how small next to the fries), the chicken wings were only 7 pieces, but to be honest, it was well flavored. The gyoza was 5 pieces and tasted ok. The chicken Cesar salad portion was ok. The only plus was the service and the waiters.

Food was actually really nice, and server was excellent. But I do have a problem with ski hills in B.C and how they always have construction going on. Every ski hill is always clawing their way to get more money despite already being billionaires and paying the staff not living wage. Anyways the noise was a bit annoying.

Really enjoyed our meal here. The outdoor patio was great for Covid friendly dining, especially on a sunny day. Prices reasonable for a resort, and the meals were well presented and tasted hot and fresh! Always a bit of a captive audience at a resort, but nice to get friendly service and good food... Calamari appy was really tasty too, a bit different than the usual.

Solid option up on the hill. Took my husband for his birthday and overall enjoyed. Had the Tuna Poke Bowl which was good, but I would have rather had it on rice than couscous because it would have held up better I think. Also had the Outpost Burger which was actually excellent with that American Cheese and secret sauce.

Great experience, good attentive servers, always checking in to make sure everything was great. Wasn’t very busy but atmosphere was welcoming. Ordered tuna poke bowl 9/10, OG burger and fries 9/10. Kids ordered cheeseburger with fries and they ate every bite. Would come back forsure

Born and raised here first time visiting the museum with my boyfriend. Learned new things about this towns history. Played with the puppets too.

I’m not one for museums, just went with my family. But it was a great museum, so much to see and even stuff for kids. My mom could have stayed their all day it was wonderful. Out of all the museums I had seen that day it was the best. If you like museums and like learning about the history of canada I do recommend!

Interesting small museum on the history of Revelstoke, worth a visit!

Rich in history, this museum beautifully tells the story of Revelstoke from railway days and skiing legends to local First Nations history. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make the visit even better, and the Heritage Garden is a charming bonus.

Excellent museum explaining the history of the region with wonderful displays of historic items. Friendly helpful staff and a great gift shop selling all kinds of prints books and craft items. Definitely recommended

Little, great and excellent museum!, we went today and there is so much info about revelstoke and the area, they have videos, antiques and more displays, we really enjoyed our visit, they also have restrooms and a small gift shop!

Nice little stop off the highway as we were travelling through. The signage could be better as Google doesn't show the access road on Maps. Lots of hiking trails go up the mountain to this spot, and continue on to the summit. Alternatively, you can drive a switchbacking dirt road 23km from here to the summit. There's a nice themed bike park here, especially nice for the nearby campers. Pit toilet, picnic tables, and garbage cans available.

I love going hiking up to ski jump whenever I am in Revelstoke. I took some friends there for the first time in my last adventure. It is recommended to buy your park pass at the visitor centre. There is a ticket kiosk outside. I suggest you drive up the mountain as well and take in all the sights while you're there. If you're a camper, look up Snow Forest campground.

I didn't know this existed before visiting. Great story behind the ski jump and you get a really good perspective of how high and steep a ski jump really is. Good workout to get up and down by the direct path too.

The Hubby and I ordered from this food truck last week. WOW! So good!! This couple have taken the grill cheese sandwich to the next level! The sourdough bread, the ticket and very delicious! And, as you can see from the picture, definitely enough cheese😋 The poutine is one of the better ones I have had and once again, lots of cheese🤤 The tomato soup was so good (and we loved that it was in a biodegradable container) and we ended up eating it the next day because the sandwiches and poutine filled us right up and plus some. Affordable, so good and we will be ordering again soon! Two huge thumbs up from us😃👍👍

Stopped here with two of the pickiest kids I’ve ever known, and everyone walked away so happy! Kids got the Classic mini-melts, and couldn’t get over how cheesy they were. We split a Buffalo Wing and a Chicken Bacon Ranch, the latter being my new favourite thing. Will definitely be back!

We dined there last night. Totally lived up to them Google raves. I had them Buffalo Wings sandwich and spouse had the Stinger. Also a shared order of Poutine. The food seemed to vanish from our plates. This is first-rate food truck food, served with friendly enthusiasm. We’ve definitely favorited KillaBs for future visits.

Very satisfying classic grilled cheese and poutine. The sourdough bread for grilled cheese was true sourdough, smelled and tasted delicious! The tomato soup was also very good. Brandon has such a sunny disposition that he brightened up the rainy day.

Passing through and stopped here for lunch because it had some great Google reviews. The service was so friendly that he must really love what he does. And let me tell you that we love what he does! There are so many unique combinations here that i wanted to try them all. We ended up getting the classic for our 4 yr old (who “wasn’t hungry” but ate half a regular order) and the Frenchman that my husband ate rapidly. They were so delicious and I still can’t even get over how cheesy and tasty the classic grilled cheese was. Arguably the best grilled cheese I have ever had. Be sure to stop here!

While on our road trip from Washington state to Banff national park we ate many meals, at many places- some of them at 5 star hotels (3 hour meal at a super fancy hotel etc..) Without exaggeration we can honestly say this was our favorite food. Omg mouth watering. Best poutine I’ve had in ages and our sandwiches were stellar. We had the Frenchman and the Bacon So- Goooda. We were planning to just continue our drive (headed back to Washington via Kamloops) but Brandon suggested we stop by a lovely park by the river to eat. Beautiful views and tasty food! We loved it so much we went back for a third sandwich before hitting the road! Highly recommend!

Your life is not complete until you taste what these two are grillin'! Five stars for deliciousness and five stars for friendliness. So basically ten stars out of five! Made our motorcycle trip through the Rockies even more epic.

Really really loved the experience! Signed up for the kennel tour. Allllll the dogs were so lovely and friendly and so so so cute. Apart from the running dogs, they also have had some new puppies! Eric and his family and team are absolute dog lovers, the dogs are well taken care of and given so much love. There are 48 dogs and they can remember all their names and quirks! The tour was informative and interesting, and we learned quite abit about dog Sledding and how the dogs are trained. We were lucky to get in on the running of the dogs and it was such a fun and insightful time. Eric was also kind to give us some travel tips and some interesting sights in Revelstoke. Ultimately, definitely will return for another visit when we can. This was truly the highlight of my trip!

We did the afternoon tour which began with a pick up from our accommodation in Revelstoke. Hannah was terrific and very informative about what we were to experience. Once we arrived at the start of the tour we had an opportunity to get up close and personal with the dogs as they were harnessed to the sled. Ian, our dog and sled master, was a great guide. The whole experience was fantastic and the dogs clearly love what they do. If there was one piece of advice for Eric and Carmen, I would suggest that the base of the sled was more padded and we should definitely have had the option of a warm blanket over us. It does get VERY cold. Especially your feet. So be prepared. Otherwise I would recommend as a unique experience.

We took a longer tour which kept us out for most of the day, and myself and my husband went out in a sled each. We had such a great time and our guides Max and Tyler were brilliant. We learned loads about the dogs and had enough instruction to drive the slides ourselves for the majority of the day. Half way along we took a break by the lake and warmed up with a fire and some hot chocolate. The views were fantastic and the dogs were wonderful. Such friendly and well looked after dogs, they were having as much fun being out as us!

Had such an awesome time on the kennel tour! 🐾 Eric was not only super knowledgeable but also really entertaining—he made the whole experience so fun. Loved that his tour was all about sharing his passion and insight, not selling us anything. The dogs were so friendly and gentle, and the highlight was definitely cuddling 8 sweet 4-week-old puppies 🐶💛. Already planning to come back for a sledding tour next time we are in the area!

We booked in the Fall Kennel Tours, Eric gave us a grand tour to meet most of their 40 dogs and 8 puppies, unfortunately his team member was injured so we can’t go in the kennel run ( I know some company will still charge and run the tour in the shorter time and unsafe, just to make money), but an hour long of petting dogs was a blessing for us. As you go through the tour of getting to know the dogs, you can see they are well loved, trained and behaved. Will try to go back and do a winter run with them again I was too busy petting all the cute puppies didn’t remember to take a single picture P.s. Eric is an absolute delight who LOVES his dogs. He gave us a fantastic tour of the kennel and we even got to meet the super cute new puppies. As a bonus, Eric gave us brilliant suggestions for our drive through Banff.

Great place for some classic and skate skiing. We paid $63 for two adults (rental+entrance). Rentals are very modern and in great condition. Park closes at 9, but rental window closes at 3:30pm (You can return the skis after though). There is a bit that’s lit up at night which is awesome.

Beautiful views on amazing groomed trails. Just a fifteen minute drive south of Revelstoke on HWY23S, experience Revelstoke’s infamous snowpack at a different pace than most activities in the area. Ski and Snowshoe rentals are available in the lodge too.

Beautiful trail system, fun for all! There is a great lodge with a sink and microwave available for lunches. A beautiful cabin up the ski trail for a beautiful destination. They have rental skis for sale, lessons available if you want, a race team that does really well. Everything you need is right here!

A lovely time with the family. Rentals were high quality. Staff were friendly and the lodge was super cozy. A fun trail network overall.

It was a long drive up to the top but well worth it. The hike to the Fire Lookout was relatively easy. The views from the top were amazing.

breathtaking views all around at the summit...it was raining when we were up there but it was fun and worth the hike when you see the views of the columbia river and the valleys where the transcanada 1 passes through...you can drive up to the parking lot and take the shuttle up to the summit or take the 1 km. hike just like what we did.

Beautiful scenery!! It's was a great experience driving up and taking the shuttle to the top. There is so many different paths to hike. The guides were very friendly and helpful. It was fun to read through the history of the lookout. It's a must see, make sure you pack your camera.

A beautiful, historic fire lookout tower. There is a shuttle from the parking lot at the top of Mount Revelstoke to the tower parking lot (which you cannot drive to, at least during the summer). You can also hike from the parking lot to the tower along the summit trail (1km, a little steep, but wide and well maintained trail). At the top, it is a short hike to the fire watch tower. There are many other short trail here too. The views are great and the Park Canada guides helpful. There are also toilets up here. This is also the start point for a longer hike to various back country camping sites. It is worth the drive up to the top to see this!

Well-maintained fire lookout. It provides a window into how firefighters worked nearly a hundred years ago. There are many old items such old style wiredphone, stove etc. I also go up to the second floor and use the observation telescope of that year to look at the snow mountain in the distance. It is their hard work that left such a large area of forests and resources for us , and also allowed wildlife to retain their homes. Thanks .

What an amazing place to visit. Incredible history. Incredible views. A must see if you are touring the Rockies or visiting the Revelstoke area. Really a hidden treasure that not a lot of people know about! We will definitely be back. Shame you cant bring your dog because of previous incidents with irresponsible owners.

Insane views, there are many cool lookout points on this mountain, but if you go to the very top it's well worth it. It took us about 25 minutes to drive up about 14 km @simply.mayo

Mount Revelstoke has amazing views. Panorama Point in particular is spectacular. It is a short walk from the parking lot. I could've sat on that bench all day and enjoyed the views.

Great view, 100m from the road, not entirely sure where you’re supposed to park… It was morning and unpopulated so I parked right along the straightaway on the side without the no parking cones so I THINK I was ok: but with low traffic and no rangers it’s easy to do what you want. Not far from P1&P2 lots to the summit though, so you could walk from there as well.

We really enjoy stopping in at Big Eddy glass! Beautiful artwork designs and colors. Come out of town just to visit. So much fun digging through the glass bins and picking out peices. Also gave us some great information on places to eat and stop there that we didn't know about before. Thank you 😊

Tripped over the Interwebs and landed on this amazing glass art site and was completely blown away (pun intended) by the quality and creativity. All those hard to buy for people on my Christmas and Birthday lists are now in store for some absolutely stunning practical art. Talking to the owne, Leah (an absolute gem of a person btw), friendly and helpful and a true artizan of her craft. This is an obvious passion for her and her amazing team. and her enthusiasm for what she does is palpable. I look forward to years of continued patronage with this made in BC glass blowing success story.

Wow what an experience! A must see in revelstoke, the knowledge and skill these people have about glass blowing was a bit mind blowing (no pun intended). We were fortunate enough to watch them create glass cups. They spoke of the process and even the history of glass blowing. Did you know that just 200 years ago someone would have been hung for sharing glass blowing trade secrets and craft? Fortunately for us it's 2021, hoping to visit a workshop with them next year. Thanks to the staff and Ryan from Invermere glass blowing for the incredible time!

We came across this beautiful glass blowing studio here in Revelstoke. WOW! What a gem Revelstoke has right in their back yard. If you're ever in the area, definitely check her out. (Translated by Google) Did two very nice hikes from there. One to Broken Bridge (4km round trip), the other to Inspiration Woods (5km round trip). Unfortunately we couldn't go all the way up (meadows in the sky) because there was still snow there. The session started 4 weeks later due to the long winter in 2022. (Original) Zwei sehr schöne Wanderungen von dort aus gemacht. Eine zur broken Bridge (4 km hin und zurück), die andere in Inspiration Woods (5 km rundweg). Leider konnten wir nicht ganz hinauffahren (meadows in the sky), weil dort noch Schnee lag. Die Session hat durch den langen Winter in 2022 4 Wochen später gestartet.

This is a beautifully done bike park for kids, but even if they (or you) don’t have a bike there are a number of fun & educational activities to do here. Keep your eyes open for all the cool little details! There are also a couple of picnic tables & 2 of the red Parks Canada Adirondack chairs to relax in. If your bike is giving you trouble you’ll also find a bike stand with some tools & a pump for repairs.

This lake was a big disappointment - the water was brown and murky. The view from the summit is nice, but the lake is more of a pond.

Be prepared for cooler temps than down in the town of Revelstoke. Many gorgeous trails criss-crossing the top of the mountain. Picnic tables and pit toilets. Amazing wildflowers when we went in mid August. You cannot drive the last 1km, but the road is still available to walk up. My husband went up and said the view was fantastic. Even if you just stay near the parking lot it is still gorgeous and there are many trails to explore.

Fairly simple trails at the top of Mount Revelstoke that could be completed in ~4-5 hours. The trail is well maintained, but could get muddy under sub-optimal weather conditions. I had a great hike despite the rapid-changing weather conditions. The views at Jade Lake was a bit anti-climatic. If you aren't intenting to camp, stopping at the ridge between Miller and Jade lakes is sufficient. The ridge had by far the best view of the trail.

Beautiful mountain and park! You can drive almost right up to the summit (short, but fairly strenuous walk to the summit from parking lot). Unfortunately was hazy from wildfires when we visited, but it must be one of the most spectacular places imaginable on a clear day. We found a rare BC lizard on the mountain, couldn’t find the salamanders. Come for the views! Note there are also trails down the mountain at lower elevations with spectacular forests.

Stunning place. A little busy and had to line up at the park entrance to go up the mountain. It was about 45-60 min wait in the mid to late afternoon. When we got to the top it was nice and cool on a hot summers day.

We did a fantastic half day hike from about 2/3 of the way up to the top of the mountain. I highly recommend not driving all the way up - there are some really beautiful trails and very helpful park staff eager to help anyone with questions. Highly recommend!

A beautiful park to visit! Well worth the long trip up to the top of the mountain to see the amazing view and glorious mountain Flora and Fauna! Loved it!

The drive up to the top is spectacular! We did this drive in mid July and the wildflowers lining the road were beautiful. There were many hikes available along the way up, it was not congested with tourists, and parking was available in the middle of the day at the top. There was also a free shuttle up and down for those not able to make the short uphill hike to the summit. I would highly recommend this park and the sky meadow parkway for anyone who would like to enjoy the Canadian Rockies without crowds and with light to no hiking.

Just the size of this facility is breathtaking. Totally worth the visit...so interesting to learn how it was built. Revelstoke Dam was one of the highlights of my trip to Revy. I would definitely be back, but perhaps after they fix the elevator as we were not able to visit the Dam Crest. Loved the interactive displays and really enjoyed my visit. Make sure you ask them to sing you the BC Hydro song.

Breath taking we did the self tour as we like to take our time. Lots of interesting information to read how the dam was built. Take the elevator up to the top floor and walk outside to see the dam with the river below. There is some interactive things to try and you can also get headphones if you like.

The Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre is a fantastic place for a family outing, offering both education and a ton of fun. This isn't just a simple dam tour; it's an exciting and hands-on experience that captivates visitors of all ages. Kids especially will love the interactive exhibits and the chance to see a massive hydro-electric project up close. ​The centre does an excellent job of explaining how the dam works and its importance to the region in a way that’s easy to understand for everyone. It’s truly an educational adventure. The displays are well-designed and the guides are friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole visit engaging and worthwhile. Plus, the sheer scale of the dam is impressive, providing a powerful sense of awe. You'll leave with a greater appreciation for engineering and the power of nature. It's an ideal spot for families to learn and have a blast together.

Fun little stop on our way out camping. You can get the history and stats on the dam, and there's a small section of "experiments " and learning for kids. Will definitely go back once the top observation deck is re opened. But there are currently no fees to go in since it's closed.

We spent about an hour at the visitor center and got the tour from Beth. Very interesting and informative and the facility itself is impressive in it's scale. Unfortunately, the lookout from the top of the dam was closed. Lots of hands-on stuff to occupy young and old alike in the lower level. Friendly staff. Allow a few minutes to go through the security check at the gate (just present ID) before the scheduled tour.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the dam. The surroundings were beautiful, well-maintained, and very peaceful. It’s definitely a great spot to spend time with family and enjoy nature. The only small disappointment was that the lift wasn’t working during our visit, so we couldn’t get the chance to see the view from the top of the dam. Hopefully next time it will be operational, because everything else about the visit was excellent. Highly recommended!

Great FREE tour, and wonderful sites. Before I never knew much about dams, accept ofcourse the use of them.. but the detailed explanation of how they were build, and a bit of the behind the scenes made this an interesting experience.

Huge place with lots of loops for camping spots. A couple group sites. Nice big pond just off the lake that shallower with lots of picnic benches around it. An amazingly beautiful nature trail with old growth stumps and beautiful roots along and across the trail. It's near a fun waterfall. Super clean and well maintained.

A wonderfully clean provincial park .. lots for everyone and our fur babies too … campsites are very clean, a great size and not too close to each other… the many walking trails are well kept … the waterfall a nice little walk to enjoy … the playground and picnic area very nice along with a swimming man made pond area too … and the white sandy beach area goes forever … lots of birds and wildlife to enjoy watching

Gorgeous campsite, green, clean, in such a good location and views. Children's playground, swimming, boating, but I was struck by the incredible cleanliness both in the showers and on the territory.

This Provincial Campground has been a favourite for decades and we enjoy spending time there every summer. Private/treed/lush forest campsites, cell service, flush toilets/showers, man made lake/beach/kids play area, walking trails, waterfall, separate dog beach for off leash dogs, and easy access to Revelstoke and all it has to offer in and surrounding it. Would recommend to all, beautiful spot to make life long memories 😊❤️

Clean and spacious campsites, with clean showers! Water is very cold but it does warm up eventually. Very kind, and courteous staff. The park office is typically closed, but staff make rounds around the campground so you can buy wood and ask questions. Wood is $10 a bundle, dry and already split, but typically no smaller pieces to use as kindling. They even deliver it to your site! Have returned here too many times to count, and will continue!

My family loves this park. The sites are really nice and well spaced. The swimming beach is great for kids and I love the sand of the lake. There is alot todo for small kids. The waterfall and hiking trails are not overly hard and easy for a toddler to walk. We love biking the roads and playing in the park. You can always find some shade or sun if you want. The pit toilets are super clean and the comfort station is not a far walk from any of the sites. The staff is friendly and ensures your safety.

Blanket Creek Provincial Park is a beautiful location just 25 minutes south of Revelstoke. Nestled in the forest along the upper Arrow Lake, it offers completely paved roads, large private campsites, pit toilets and shower and flush toilet facilities. Potable water and dump station. Campground host on site and park staff who are just great at keeping this park in top shape. Day use area, large swimming lagoon with surrounding lawn, hiking trails, children's play area and my favorite is spectacular sandy beach which is off leash dog friendly. It's quiet at night even when full this past July 1 weekend. Moutain biking and hiking trails nearby. It has become a favorite spot for us.

Pretty place and the campground is nice but sites are close together not much privacy. The beach access is only at the sites 1-11, so it's far if you aren't near there. has a pebble beach but not bad and a little park right at the beach, which is nice. I like that they have showers.

As someone who has camped at over 50 provincial parks, I was absolutely shocked at how nice the staff here are!! By far, THE NICEST STAFF I’ve ever had dealings with in an of the BC parks. The park has recently been expanded and now has 109 sites. The lake is GORGEOUS and crystal clear!! Showers, bathrooms, pit toilets throughout, volleyball net, 2 off leash dog beach areas, kids playground directly on the beach…THIS ONE HAS IT ALL!! (Minus cell signal) 😂🤦🏼‍♂️

We fell in love with this campground, the nicest we have ever camped at! The only reason for 4 stars is the pit toilets are terrible. They do have a main flush toilet and showers available. We scored a lakeside site, stayed 2 nights.and will definitely be back. No cell service or.radio.stations, but was so great to disconnect.

The campsite is excellent with beautiful views, clean washroom, free shower, and warm-water dishwashing sinks. The playground is fun. No phone signal beyond the dam.

Wonderful place. Remote and peaceful. Great beach access and boat launch access. Most of the sites are well above the lake but many have great reviews. No electricity and 8 miles from cell service. Bring your starlink and your solar panels!

Very friendly staff working there. We had no booking but was able to pick a available site (33) and pay the park operator $28 Free hot showers, very well maintained bathrooms, drinking water and rv water hookup. Firewood available for $10 a bag and firepits and bench at each site

Beautiful place to visit! Must see if visiting Revelstoke. Off leash dog beaches so your pooches can take a dip. Breathtaking views and crystal clear waters.
