Ordered coffee and hot chocolate. Coffee was good but hot chocolate was very bad, would not recommend having it and would suggest the cafe to remove it from the menu!

A fun local cafe with lots of scheduled events, I was drawn in by the books in the windows. The staff were friendly and the featured special drinks looked inventive and interesting, although the one I tried wasn't quite to my liking. The cookies were pretty good. Will hopefully be back on a day when they have some live music playing.

We had a cute coffee date on Valentines Day at this local cafe. Loved the red velvet cupcake - just the right size and not too sweet. Comfy seating and nice location. Will be back again!

Great, knowledgeable staff, fantastic coffee (I haven’t tried the food yet) and a really good atmosphere. Street parking out front, clean facilities, a great place to hang out with a friend. Take the laptop and work, or for a casual business meeting. A really well run place!

Love the ambiance, the coffee and snacking in the morning at down town Stratford. Place really busy. Only open at 8am to 4 pm. Had a great Cappucino double shot and Hot Chocolate. 👍👍👌

Walking into SIRKLE felt less like stepping into a sandwich shop and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. Chris, who was at the counter, took the time to walk us through the menu and recommended a sandwich that turned out to be absolutely incredible. It was juicy, full of flavour, and easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I had also heard about their famous barbecue Caesar salad, which they usually serve only on Fridays. Even though it wasn’t Friday, they went out of their way to make it for me. That kind of kindness really stood out. IAnd of course, a big shoutout to Kelly, the owner. You can tell she pours her heart into this place. Between the amazing food and the genuinely good people, SIRKLE is something special. If you're ever in Stratford, this spot is a must-visit.

Had the best meal here during my first time in Stratford! I tried their daily salad "nutty chicken" and it was HUGE and SO tasty! I loved their house sauce. I also got their pickle snacker and it was such a unique treat for lunch in the park. Highly reccomend this spot for both lunch and a sweet treat. Great service.

Stratford isn’t somewhere I usually find myself in - but when I am somewhere new I always have to find the best spot to eat. On recommendation from my manager I ordered the rainbow-wich. This was the biggest, juiciest, packed sandwich I have ever bitten into - or tried to bite into. This sandwich was an absolute beast of a meal and it left me so so happy. Turkey, pickle, cucumber, tomato, bacon, chipotle mayo, cheddar cheese and lettuce all on the perfect (baked in house) pretzel bun. I can’t say much for the shop itself as my meal was picked up for me, but I can only imagine the quality of service if the quality of food is any comparison. Absolute delight of a place. Support local!

Got the Rainbow-wich (fresh deli turkey, cheddar cheese, bacon, pickle, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, chipotle mayo on a pretzel bun) and it was stacked. So fresh and tasty, the bun was perfect and it was piled so high. Thanks!

Quite easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I stopped by this shop because of a recommendation from a local I coincidentally ate lunch with the week before, and it was a fabulous recommendation. I ordered the Megan-wich, which was one of the specials, and it was beyond delicious. It was enough for a full meal, so I brought the scone I bought (lemon, berry, and white chocolate) for dessert home to my dad, and he said it was the best scone he’d had since he moved here from the Maritimes over 40 years ago. There was quite a line when I went in (Friday around noon), but it moved very quickly. There is no seating in the store, but it’s across the street from City Hall and just a short walk from the waterfront. I’ll definitely be back in the next time I’m in Stratford.

I very much enjoyed the food and service. I had the turkey club and my partner had the pesto chicken while sharing a side of hash brown casserole. Food was delicious and a big sandwich. I ate half and a few bites of hash brown casserole and was satisfied. Strongly suggested place to eat for any sandwich lover. The only thing that would have been nice is somewhere to sit to enjoy the sandwich. Unfortunately it was raining outside so we ended up eating in the car.

Went here on a Sunday around 11:00 AM and it was already pretty busy. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily only had to wait ~5 mins for an outdoor table (inside looked mostly booked up). If you want one of the nice tables indoors with art, chandeliers, and a cozy ambiance, I’d recommend reserving. The space itself is beautiful. Staff were kind overall, though a bit mixed: • the woman at the bar was super helpful explaining both menus (their restaurant + the pizza place downstairs) since we weren’t sure at first • the guy who found us seating seemed a bit rushed, but it was peak time so understandable • our waitress who took the order was friendly and attentive • the person who dropped off our food seemed a little new or unsure (forgot cutlery, asked about salt/pepper right away), but was still polite Food came out really quickly (about 5 mins). We got: • Smoked salmon eggs Benedict + fries (me): fries were tasty and crispy. Eggs were breaded/fried which gave them a nice crunch, and the muffins were good. Salmon was fresh but a bit on the salty side, and the hollandaise was so light/mild that it got absorbed into the muffin instead of standing out. • Soufflé w/ potatoes, bravas sauce + greens (friend): one side was a little overcooked and the flavor overall was pretty mild, but the lemony greens were a nice touch. Prices are on the higher side. Not unreasonable given the atmosphere and quality of ingredients, but with a few small misses in the dishes it did feel a little steep. Overall: Gorgeous café with a really lovely ambiance (especially indoors if you reserve), quick service, and friendly staff even if a bit inconsistent. Food was a mix — some things stood out, others less so. I’d consider coming back to try different dishes :)

We visited twice this wonderful place last weekend. We were fortunate enough to have same waiter both visit. Miles was very knowledgeable about food and drinks, he also was super pleasant, fast with service and with sense of humor. Food was absolutely delicious. Their duck is better than one I had in Paris France and the best one I ever had. Drinks were creative and there was a plenty of choices. Highly recommending

My daughter made made reservations for 5:15 Earlier in the afternoon we dropped into the restaurant to see if we had made a good choice. It was a windy, rainy cold day. The staff found our reservations. The dining room was a very quaint setting and we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that we would be sitting at the bar. I felt as if the staff could have been a bit more forthcoming and said we would be sitting at the bar. It might not have been as disappointing if we had known ahead of time. The maître de came across as ambivalent to the situation. My daughter pointed out to me. What do you expect him to do dad? And that’s a valid question. We sat at the bar and the French onion soup we had was delicious. My daughter had the hamburger platter and she found it to be exceptional. One thing about the french fries that came with the platter was they were hot. The burger was very tasty. They didn’t charge my daughter for her hamburger platter, which was very kind of them.

We were seated immediately. Our server was so friendly and kind and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. Totally unexpected how much we would enjoy this restaurant. I will go back!

We dined here 4 times in 2 days. We sat at the bar, outside, at a high top and in the dining room. Thomas, Melanie, Nico, and so many others. The PEI Oysters were amazingly fresh! The blended brisket beef burger was incredible! The French toast with blueberry compote was a perfect start to Sunday. The Pickerel was unexpectedly finished. The Cod croquettes were outstanding and perfect with the local cloudy IPA, French Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The French 75, Manhattan and Tart Cherry Gimlet cocktails were delightful. One stop back into Michigan and we were so missing Cafe Buffon. We can’t wait to return! Peace to you all, and thank you!

We had a wonderful experience today at this restaurant service was fantastic. A special shout to Karly who took care of moving us to a different table and adjusting the air condition. I was really looking forward to trying Café Bouffon in Stratford after hearing some good things, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the expectations. I ordered the French toast and a crepe, and while both tasted fine, the portions were surprisingly small — the crepe was gone in just a few bites, and the French toast was just a single piece of bread drowning in syrup. When the bill arrived, it came to $61, which felt extremely high for what was served. The presentation was nice, and the café itself has a lovely atmosphere, but the value just wasn’t there for me. For the price, I expected something a bit more substantial and memorable. It’s a charming spot, but I’d love to see portion sizes or pricing adjusted to better match the experience.

Honestly one of the best cafe experiences that I've ever had in a while. The location is quaint but deceptively big. Lots of comfortable seating and large tables to work on and have group meet ups. The board games set aside does indicate a very comfortable location for noise but when I was there, the music was ambient but still not too loud that you can have a conversation with someone. The decor is cutesy but I do love the pieces of equipment at the front. It would be cool to see some more local artwork from Stratford, especially with some Shakespearean influences. The barista was super relaxed, accommodating and brought my latte to the table. Everything was textbook but still perfect. The latte had a great pull, no bitterness. Even the sugar syrup used was light and didn't overpower the milk or the espresso. The croissant was perfect. Right flakiness, still warm as it was just pulled from the oven, I want more. The one thing that's lacking is that it was empty. It needs more people to know how good of a spot it is! Will have to come here whenever I'm in Stratford!

Visited Brch and Wyn a few months ago right before seeing a play at the festival theatre. Ordered a latte and a bltc. The sandwich was good however I was given a Cubano instead. I didn’t realize before I left that I had the wrong sandwich otherwise I would have gotten it corrected. The latte was good! The overall atmosphere of the cafe and the colours were quite nice.

Was nicely decorated but only one staff member on hand. As a first time customer I wasn't sure where to wait for my order, I wasn't told, so that was a bit confusing until I seen another customer get her order at the other end from where the till was so I went there. Then I wasn't sure if the coffee was mine sitting there or the staff members cause it was taking awhile as she ran around. I askedvand It wasn't mine, Edvuntally I got my coffee, it was good but the exspriance was a bit confusing, needed more direction from staff or signs for new customers.

A nice and thoughtfully decorated cafe serving up fresh and vibrant small plates for breakfast along with some of the best coffee I've ever had. The proprietors are very proud of their business and were happy to explain how they roasted their own coffee beans. While the servings were on the smaller side for the price, it definitely tasted of quality produce and goods. It's also conveniently located nearby the only free overnight parking lot in downtown Stratford, so well on the beaten path for anyone picking up their vehicle in the morning. Can wholeheartedly recommend this cafe for their coffee creations and brunch.

The best hidden treasure for a delightful brunch. Our server brought great energy to start our day and we even spotted several of the stars from last night’s “Dangerous Liasons” enjoying the space food & beverages too.

Really nice service, great strawberry cheesecake danish and great tea! My boyfriend also really enjoyed his coffee. We also got the half cubano sandwich from the Sip and Savor trail and it was super tasty!

I would say this is the BEST cafe in town! I have zero knowledge in coffee, but the staff was super friendly to explain all the different types of coffee, syrup, etc., and the atmosphere here is so pretty. The coffee was amazing as well!!!

Really huge crazy portions for the price, and staff were friendly. Great place to stop by for a breakfast or a late brunch. Wait for a table was a little long, but you gotta wait for some good food right? Just make sure you read the descriptions, and overestimate the portions. They are huge. Oh yes- Coffee is free flow! The food was overwhelmingly salty especially the chicken wrap, which tasted like I was biting into pure salt with every mouthful. The eggs Benedict even had bits of eggshell in it, which was pretty off-putting. The chili soup was so thick it felt more like a sauce than an actual soup. Everything was extremely heavy in flavour, to the point that the potatoes ended up being the least salty item on the plate , which says a lot! We honestly felt like we exceeded our daily sodium intake just from this meal. 😖 That said, the service wasn’t bad. The server was polite and attentive.

Good portion. Good price. Not super anesthetic but good food and quality service. There was a bit of wait time to be seated but totally worth it. Try going before 11. That's around the time I got a table and when I left there was a line up outside.

A delicious diner. From my understanding it is always busy, and was the day that I visited. Being celiac, staff were able to accommodate my food restrictions without a concern - even offering gluten free bread should I want it. Prices were fair and the meal was delicious. There is apparently a reason why they have been around for every. There was a line of about 8 parties infront of me at 10 am on a Saturday. .FYI.

Awesome food and one of the best Brunch food I have tried in recent times! Went with my family, easy parking and friendly location ! Try to book your table before visiting as on holidays tables are high on demand! And Yes the Creme Brulee is out of the world! For deserts make sure you ask them as it's a verbal menu!

Really enjoyed this tasty breakfast stop this morning! Waitress greeted us friendly and had us seated and coffee-d (critical!) very quickly. Food was excellent and included all the US standards plus some extras. Food arrived quickly and tasty wonderful. The syrup was pure maple syrup and the sausage links were locally sourced (no GMO etc etc). While we are tourists, it seems like it also draws locals. Atmosphere was friendly but quiet enough so you could hear yourself think. Easy access & parking. Next door to Best Western Plus / Arden Park hotel, about 1.5 miles from downtown theater area.

A descent place! My wife and I dined there the other day. The food was tasty, the helpings were generous, and the good looking, young lady waitress was very polite and welcoming. Will definitely go there if we find ourselves around those parts of the province ever again.

The first time we went here, the service was not great but the food was excellent. I was looking forward to going again, so I called ahead and made a reservation, and it was not honored. People were rude, pushing past us to get their seats before we were spoken to. We were ignored by the greeter, and people with honored reservations were seated. I let the greeter know i had called ahead, and she did not seem bothered and seated other first. We waited 40 minutes before being ignored and claustrophobic got the better of us. I do not know if I will return.

Yes it was a beautiful sunday for me! After the church me and my friends had a plan to visit Blazac's. Now I could say, It was a great decision. I just loved the atmosphere they offered and 'The Foood!'. We tried Canadian Maple Latte, Cappuccino and Brewed Coffee along with croissants. I would say, all the 3 snacks were like too good. Must visit option to have a falvorsome!

There’s a charming art supply shop nearby, always ready to rescue me when I’ve run out of ink or paper. But it’s Balzac that truly holds a piece of my heart. Often, while I sit there, I overhear conversations about theatre plots, new poems, new novels, and plans for going to a play at the famous annual Stratford theatre festival. And I listen quietly, soaking in the magic. Stopped in for a quick coffee date while passing through Stratford. The service was amazing, along with the coffee and baked goods! The barista was extremely accommodating when we accidentally ordered the wrong drink. She was very understanding and ensured we had the best experience. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be coming back! I’m a coffee lover and the lady did an outstanding job. Highly recommend ☺️

Excellent vibe at Balzac's this morning. I enjoyed reading the local paper over a veggie breakfast sandwich. You must get the sandwich to be heated up prior to consumption! 🔥

My family and I had a delightful meal. The waitress was very nice to us and even gave my wife a great tip for handling red wine stains on a dress! The decor may seem dated to some, but to us it was charming. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Stratford! Dessert was yummy also!

Met some friends here for a birthday gathering. The food was okay. My wife quite liked her gyro, though it was far too saucy, and my perch was just alright. It's certainly not a "fine dining" establishment, but a family restaurant which, to be fair, they're upfront about. The server did an okay job, but the food took a looong time. The chief comment I offer, though, is about the decor. It's simply horrid. From the oversized and awkward wicker chairs (which my wife and our dinner companion found so strange to sit in it was laughable), to the 1980s wallpaper, to the dusty plastic plants, this restaurant is ripe for a total do over. I kept imagining what Gordon Ramsay would have to say. So, with many other options in Stratford, we'd not return to Demetre's given the option.

Dining at a family run restaurant with a high traffic is always reassuring of the food quality. The lineup for a Saturday brunch was long but we were quickly seated and served.There are no none-dairy options available nor gluten free. The vegetarian Omelette was good but it lacked flavor. The Waffle was crispy on the outside, and so light and fluffy on the inside. The whipped cream was missing despite the note on the menu.

Update: returned for another supper - beef stir fry and Mediterranean chicken were divine! The garlic bread with cheese was cooked to perfection. The Mediterranean Chicken entree was delicious, spinach and feta sauce covering two well portioned chicken breasts with mashed potatoes and cooked carrots. Our server was welcoming, professional and friendly. She waited until we were both finished our meals before clearing our table. I appreciated not having to compete with loud music as they didn't play any. What a wonderful change! I highly recommend this restaurant. I returned 2 weeks later to check out the brunch service. I loved the spinach and feta omelette, home fries and rye toast! Jessica, our server, was friendly and attentive!! Demetre's brunch is even better than Cora's!!

I wasn’t too thrilled with this place, I was told the bread was homemade, but only received 2pieces of bread that tasted exactly like the bread I bought from the store, The Pork Souvlaki was $28 but didn’t taste at all like $28. The French onion soup was the worst I’ve had in years, The soup broth had barely any flavor and the bread bits were crunchy stale in the soup, for $10 I think I would have gotten something else, not but least.. the fish&chips… it was pretty average, although the fish was fresh, I kept tasting a weird gooey batter under the breading. For the price of the food I would rather eat McDonald’s, but the + was the Food service, The lady was very helpful and was quick, had a lovely smile and made sure we had our things.

I had high hopes for our meal. They were busy on a Saturday evening about an hour before close but found us a table, which was wonderful because our family was hungry. The service was friendly but very slow to get our food. When the food arrived it was not great at all. The ocean perch meal was entirely beige: wax beans, potatoes and fish, and the fish itself was full of bones and covered in scales. I have never in my life left fish and unfortunately I couldn’t finish it. Another person had the hamburger and it was greasy and not in a flavourful way. Sorry but don’t want others to have the same experience.

The food was served swiftly. It was not busy that time and we arrived there around 4pm. My boyfriend loved their fish and chips. The fries were good. I enjoyed my meal but not that I would not say the best but still outstanding. The pancakes is perfect. Soft and fluffy.

Nostalgic old diner atmosphere with the order window with rotating ticket order stand. Efficient staff. Wonderful food. I had the eggs Benedict. Petfrctly powched eggs served on top of peameal bacon in an English muffin topped eoth hollandaise sauce, with a side of homies. It was so delicious, I'll be back for a repeat tomorrow.

I have absolutely no idea how this place has such a high rating. This restaurant is the definition of "meh". I would not return, nor would I recommend this place to anyone who actually enjoys good breakfast. They can't be bothered to chop their own potatoes for home fries, so you get the frozen ones that every other mediocre breakfast restaurant in the world sells. Unseasoned, by the way. Other restaurants at least add some seasoning salt or something. Scrambled eggs? What's that? Nah, just pour some barely beaten eggs onto the flattop in a super thin layer so they cook in seconds. I am shocked that over a thousand people in a culinary town like Stratford would give this place a 4.6 star rating. Food is 2...maaaaaybe 3. If you're coming here expecting a 4.6 star breakfast, this ain't it.

If you’re in town and haven’t been to this place yet, drop everything and go! Well, maybe bring a snack for the lineup If you're brining all your friends. This diner is the real deal. The food? Fantastic. The vibes? Impeccable. The coffee? So good it might actually reset your life choices. Don’t be shocked if there’s a wait; word travels fast when the bacon’s crispy and the eggs are cooked just right. You might walk in thinking you’ll get the Perth County Breakfast, but after 10 minutes of catching delicious whiffs from other people's plates, you’ll be staring down a Hungry Man platter like it owes you money. Fasten your belt (or loosen it ahead of time), because once you’re seated, it’s a glorious downhill ride into food coma territory. Five stars, two napkins, and one very satisfied stomach. Highly recommend!

Came here on a day trip yesterday after finding out they serve poutine. I am American and have never tried it and I was looking forward to tasting it. The poutine was amazing for how simple it was, and it was worth every penny. 10/10 service too!

I haven’t been to Joe’s diner in years. I took a friend of mine there Tuesday morning, and was very pleased with the food I received. They have a seniors breakfast which was very good. The next time I’m in Stratford I’m going back.

I enjoyed this place. My first time and the service was great. I got a savoury and sweet item to try. I loved the savoury, not so much the strawberry muffin but that’s ok. Plenty more things to try next time. 😋😋

First time in Stratford and many people recommended Revel. Glad I listened! it was a cozy cafe and clearly popular with the locals. The server was friendly and I really enjoyed our brief conversation. I ended up ordering a cappuccino and the doughnut of the day. The coffee wasn't bad not the best I've had but definitely one of the better ones. The doughnut was the real star which was a lemon poppyseed glaze. The dough was soft and the glaze added a nice touch of tart and sweetness without it being overwhelming. I made the mistake of only buying one, when I went back to get more it was sold out. So if you see it in stock make sure to get 2

If you want a "this is the BEST thing I ever put in my mouth" moment please, please come down to the charming, warm locals fave for their amazing almond croissant! First time in Stratford and the spot came highly reccomended. A total community hub with in-house baked treats.

My favourite cafe in Stratford so far. It’s always busy (because of their great coffee and baked goods) still love coming here. This cafe is an experience itself. The staff is always so nice, Stephanie (owner) is the nicest. They even offer student discounts.

Stopped here for a drink and to use the washroom. The staircase had no lighting the bathroom was gross, toilet seats were not even connected. The bathroom was dirty and the soap looked like it contained all sorts of bacteria…they had the same soap upstairs behind the counter which was not promising. My friend and I both got drunk my friend’s drink was the raspberry lemonade chiller and it was nasty and very sweet not in a good way and I got the hibiscus tea which is awful. Would not recommend better go to McDonald’s instead!

Had a great experience at their Burlington location always hence walked in. This one doesn’t live up to the mark. Bought a match latte, a cinnamon chip scone and a coffee. Very watered down matcha latte despite asking for a less iced version. Matcha powder didn’t live up to the quality. The scone was not good, was feeling half-baked and doughy inside (I have had my share of good scones so I know what I am talking about.) Coffee was ok. The people at the counter were polite though. I wouldn’t recommend this one in Stratford despite the good ambiance. Maybe try one of the local cafes or even Balzac’s because their coffee blend is good!

Outstanding experience! Great location near the Avon Theatre — I had a hazelnut latte and Asiago breakfast bagel, both delicious and satisfying. The staff were friendly and even offered to bring our order to the table. really made my visit memorable. Highly recommended!

We grabbed a coffee just 3 minutes before closing time and had the most amazing experience at Stratford. Our server, Primal, was very kind and made really good coffee. Highly recommend visiting during a trip to Stratford.

Ordered a turkey avocado sandwich and coffee. There was no avacado to be found in the sandwich. Took it back because I thought they gave me someone else's sandwich. Nope, it was mine. The person who made it claimed they put avacado in it. I asked to show me where is it? Couldn't see it. So they offered up a few slices of avacado in a little cup. Not the best experience I've had. I would have expected better considering the price I paid for it. Otherwise it was a tasty sandwich.

So I pull up to this supposedly open Coffee Culture at 7:10am, when it says on google it’s open at 7am, and it’s very visibly closed. Maybe update your hours so people don’t waste their time and gas for nothing?

Amazing Experience at Coffee Culture Stratford! I visited Coffee Culture at 69 Downie Street and was blown away! The seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte was rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, while my friend’s PB Boost Smoothie was creamy, flavorful, and refreshing. We also tried the Asiago Breakfast Bagel—it was warm, satisfying, and loaded with cheese and bacon. What really stood out was the service: our barista greeted us warmly, took time to explain their iced drinks, and even offered a free upgrade—it felt like we were VIPs. The café had a cozy, inviting atmosphere, ideal for catching up or relaxing. Honestly, this spot became my new Stratford fave. Everything—coffee, food, service—was top-notch. I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

I decided to forego the Tim near my child's school and drove to this new location for a try. The environment is fresh and very beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area where you can enjoy coffee and the afternoon sun. However, the dining times are quite busy, and the indoor space is not very large, so you may need to stand and wait. Now, Tim's has become just another cold fast-food restaurant, a shadow of the pleasant memories Canadians has. This decline is largely due to management's incompetence and disregard for user experience. Here are the issues: 1. **Men's restroom:** According to another people, the sensor lights are poorly designed and often fail to detect motion, leaving you to navigate in complete darkness if you need to use more time. 2. **Cleaning standards:** Staff use water-soaked towels to wipe tables, leaving them to air dry or forcing customers to use excessive amounts of napkins to clean up. Customers often end up cleaning before they can enjoy their meal, essentially becoming unpaid workers for Tim's. Additionally, food crumbs or sugar are often brushed onto neighboring tables and chairs, leaving unsuspecting guests to sit in the mess. Basic training in cleaning seems lacking. 3. **Women's restroom:** The stalls are very small, and the toilet is awkwardly positioned. The large paper towel dispenser is installed on the side where the toilet is off-center, making it extremely cramped for those with limited mobility. 4. **Staff behavior:** Staff like old friends only exist in the memories of Canadians, and now it's the age of cold, fast food culture. The employees act like robotic fast-food workers, devoid of any warmth. If it weren't for the overall pleasant environment, I would consider abandoning this place altogether.

I recently visited to this branch and, unfortunately, had a less-than-satisfactory experience. The customer service was not very welcoming; the staff seemed uninterested and in a rush, barely acknowledging my request. I specifically asked for my bagel to be cut in half, but when I received my order, it was still whole. It may seem like a small detail, but when you're on the go and expect your order to be made as requested, it becomes frustrating. The lack of attention to detail and poor service made my visit disappointing. Tim Hortons is usually known for its consistency, but this experience did not meet expectations. I hope they improve their customer service and ensure that simple requests are followed properly.

Perfect location, going really busy but perfectly handled girl taking my orders helped a lot they give perfect food packed but little less hot it was. But I like the. New setup of location and seems so perfect to see outside.

I ordered a decaf and taste like hot milk. I told them that I usually buy from here and does taste good, they agree to brew new one and gave me my previous coffee in 5 seconds. I don't know Tim brew in 5 seconds. Never gonna buy from here.

The slowest Tim Hortons I have ever been to hands down. 20 cars in drive thru and 6 people waiting on their orders and another 6 in line…. Come on Tim Hortons do better! Hire competent staff!!

Really gone downhill. Posting this as I have sat in the drive thru in the same position (not even at the speaker yet) for over 10 minutes. Drive thru is always slow and sometimes so exceedingly so that going inside ordering, getting a meal and leaving I can see the car that was at the back also hasn’t made it to the speaker yet. What’s the point of a drive thru when it’s so exceptionally slow that it wastes literally 20 minutes to a half an hour of your time? On top of that, the staff here lately don’t even seem like the know what’s on the menu of the place they work at. Orders are often wrong. Update, I continued to sit for 15 minutes and when finally arrived at the speaker, I sat for almost 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Absolutely ridiculous.

He didn’t know how to maintain basic customer service, even didn’t serve water after asking. A guy named Siddharth made a mistake adding extra foam after requesting not to add and when we requested to remove the foam he hesitated to change and showed frustration to give another drink and very very rude when he was handing it to us. It’s really really mean to all of us.

So I'm going to start off this story by basically stating that I had no intentions of writing this review, because I always felt that if you just called the store and you explained to them, things can be resolved a whole lot easier. But since that's not the case here it is, I ordered four muffins, two blueberries, two chocolate chip muffins. Headed to work and then around 11:00 I stick my hand in the bag pull out a muffin and I'm about to take a bite into it when I smell something that I am highly allergic to. AKA bananas, it seems that when I asked for chocolate chip muffins they decided to give me chocolate chip banana muffins. I don't understand why you would go ahead and give someone something that they didn't ask for, because at the end of the day you've now supplied me with something that could have put me in the hospital. Then I attempted to call the store about four times because I work overnights, but apparently now they don't answer their phones. So that's why I now leave this review. You should serve people what they asked for, and if you don't understand you should ask questions. Because I could have went ahead and ate that muffin, and then ended up in the hospital due to anaphylactic shock due to the fact that I don't walk around with an EpiPen. Mainly because banana is a very easy thing to identify very pungent smell. But now that my blueberry muffins were thrown into the same bag as these banana chocolate chip, I don't get any muffins at all. So one star is what you get from me

Garbage service. Went through the drive-thru and wait 5 minutes while cars in the other lane got served ahead of us. Half the time you can't understand them when they do serve you. Do better. Your crap food isn't worth waiting for.

The order was wrong and was slightly more than the identical order purchased a day earlier from a different location. I was going to bring it up at the pay window but quickly decided life is too short for that whole ordeal and just let that go. Then the burger had onions which I discovered by getting the smell of them when I was already past the point of no return for returning to work on time. McDonald's is never good, like really good, but is quite consistent so when I spend my money there I am counting on the process producing a satisfactory result, that was not my experience today.

They have a two lane drive through. Both were empty when we arrived. The voice said we will be with you in a minute. About 5 minutes past and still no person to take our order. Then another car showed up in the other lane. Immediately they took their order and the car proceeded to the window. In disbelief we left without placing our order. Apparently first come doesn’t mean first served! A&w was happy for our business and gave us great food and great service and their coffee is better. Mcd lost out on our family order of $35. And many more to come as we won’t be going back. So my advice is, just go anywhere but here. You will be much happier for it.

The girl working the drive through tonight noticed when she picked up my drink it didn’t have ice (was probably one that was sitting out for a while, I worked at MCDs). She cared enough to notice, and took the time to replace the old one with a new one with ice. She was also very pleasant with me. Very unexpected and I am very appreciative!! Thanks girl!!!

Woefully understaffed. Only one cashier station taking walk-ins orders, with that staff member also having to run all over to fulfill the walk-in, online, and the kiosk orders. All-in took about 25 minutes to get two coffees. It's not the fault of the staff working there. They were probably each doing the work of two or three people, and should be compensated as such. There simply should have been twice as many people working.

I am just reviewing the coffee. To be honest it taste like the worst thing you ever drink. Please teach young lads how to make coffee or just stop the coffee menu. I like McDonald's coffee because of its flavor, but don't expect a good coffee from this location.

I got the chicken it was dried for probably 3 hours it was bit size it took my kid who is 6 years old 1 bit to eat and it was $6.

Stopped in for MS day,Teen burger was good, but onion rings were stone cold. Obviously sitting around well past the holding time.. You would think on a day when you're trying to attract people in, you would make sure the quality was much better.

I had a great experience at A&W! The food was fresh and delicious — the burgers were juicy, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Of course, the root beer was a highlight, served ice-cold and tasting just like I remembered. The staff were friendly and quick with service, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Overall, it was a classic, satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

So this morning my girlfriend got wrap for me so I can have it in lunch and we often go to this place it’s not first time they messed up our orders when you have a regular customer and order often same thing how can still mess it up, she ordered egg and cheese breakfast wrap and we ended up getting bacon with it I don’t eat bacon or chicken one religion and they gave me bacon,I ended not eating anything at lunch. The people really doesn’t see the order while making and giving out to customers

Outstanding. Located in a busy neighborhood with many fast food restaurants nearby, Tim Hortons offers fast and convenient meal options. The chilli is really good, soups nutritional and fresh tasting. Given the extra items added on the menu, like flatbread and pizza, the demands are rising. And yet, the staff are friendly and welcoming, keeping customers happy.😃 (Like the cookies). Reusable cups and glasses are available to purchase and have a discount when reused. A very clean and well kept environment for sitting down and enjoying the break from work or in between Service Canada /Ontario appointments.

Restaurant closed at 10:30 pm on a Sat night. Sept 20/25. I’m sure there is plenty of people who are looking for employment yet no one hires ? Makes the city look bad. People coming through can’t get food or bathroom breaks because it’s closed. Have job fairs. Hire or train people who want to work. Disappointed to see how this world has changed. Do better

I really like the ice cold orange 🍊 tangerine quenches made with sparkling water and not lemonade (too sweet) unless that's your thing. It seems to cut through my dying thirst when I'm at work better than almost anything else. And who doesn't love orange and tangerine combined together❓️ I also really like the ham and cheddar as well, especially after work cuz I'm especially hungry then lolz I seldom go inside to order because I normally visit this Timmy's during the night

Always love visiting Tim's. We bought reusable cold cups and they are great to carry around on hot days. We got Canada Day donuts and they were very good!

I ordered thru the app around 4:50 am for my husband before he go to work, when my husband arrive to pick it up, the Indian staff at the drive thru told him it’s not ready until 11:30 am something like that, there’s no option for time I don’t understand why will he say about time when you there’s no option for time in the app at the time I ordered it just says drive up and let us know you place order you have online order and it’s common sense that he need that coffee asap to pick it up, It’s very simple for just a coffee ending my husband got angry and left without anything.

Been to other locations and had perfect experiences. Tried this with a large group and it definitely had its set backs. Some items came late or were forgotten. One pair of plates was completely mixed up and we were told to just switch the items ourselves (though they were over easy eggs and super delicate and we had little space and no extra plates to make such transition). It seemed the staff didn’t know what pancakes were what. We tried explaining that one was a holiday special one but they couldn’t figure out what it was. We also double checked what the wrong plates were and they said the wrong ones. I feel like since the specialty is these fancy pancakes they need to 100% get these right. They tried to be accommodating to our large group and the food was plentiful and delicious busy some things were a miss. Portion sizes here are still extremely large, you don’t need to order a whole lot if you are expecting small portions. Food was delicious as well, still the same great quality I’ve had at other locations. Prices are pretty good especially if you get the 7am special. Always some good limited run ideas. The amount of fancy pancake types is awesome and a lot of stuff is customizable. I still recommend this chain despite the issues we had.

Classic breakfast spot Stacked is always a good go too! This one doesn’t take reservations and it’s a bit small. Service was a bit slow to get our food and our server kept forgetting things like drinks. While it was busy! Otherwise the food was good, and coffee wasn’t bad! I always get their gluten free pancakes and they’re delish. I would go back!

We were delighted to try this location. We had Spinach Florentine Crepes and the Pancake Stack. Delicious!! Very spacious and clean location. Thanks to our server Krishna and staff for their hard work.

Ive been in here before and i swear its the same everytime. The waitresses are so pleasant and friendly and the place is clean. Unfortunately theres a main hostess at this location who ive "served" by and I ve found her to be so consistently loud, abrasive and 100% opposite to what i picture when i think "friendly family breakfast eatery experience" I find her loud and obnoxious volume of voice is so inappropriate for the family diner experience. I feel like im at a crummy bar with bad music. I was standing there with my baby and partner and she came around the corner shouting " hot drinks! Hot drinks!"....like i dont work for you lady thats something you say to your staff. Your old enough to know better. The correct response is " excuse me please , thank you!" . Im probably never going back. Oh yah and my sausage was still cold and wet and the scrambled eggs weren't even slightly confused let alone scrambled. What a let down.

Food is great here, they have a lot of different items besides just regular breakfast items, different kinds of pancakes and hashes, a pulled pork hash if you wanted even, food quality is decent and never bad quality The service is amazing, never had issues getting a server to notice us, and they usually are fast to taking orders and asking your preferences, usually telling you the best deals or new items to come out, and with a smile and utmost respect Atmosphere is average at best, sometimes restaurant has the same playlist of songs playing over and over, seats are usually comfy but mostly wooden chairs, unless you’re trying a booth, the staff are friendly so it adds to liveliness of the place, a decent breakfast place to relax and enjoy Most people come here over and over and never seen disappointed, I think the best thing about the restaurant is the food and the drinks, whether you want burgers or sandwiches or breakfast food, the good times are always available in this restaurant. Wheelchair parking spots are close by and eat to enter restaurant, they do have washrooms to use and lots of space for customers to get a spot to sit and eat, prices are usually cheaper considering what you get, an average cost between 2 people is around 34-40$. Portion sizes are decent as well. Worth a visit

Another good breakfast / brunch / lunch place in town. Lots of menu options. I enjoyed the crepes with fruit and my mom LOVED her grilled cheese and bacon sandwich. The third person was a little disappointed that the "farmer's sausage" was more like a regular sausage, just much bigger. It was too greasy for their tastebuds. But the rest of the meal was enjoyable. I especially loved the fresh fruit side option (instead of home-fries). Service was good too. (I'm told that it's a locally owned franchise). And the guy in the red shirt was awesome (he was from "Corporate". He was there to help out in the early days of the restaurant's opening. He was very attentive to make sure we had a good experience). The place is larger than it looks because there is more seating at the back. We will definitely be back!

Aww wow this is my kind of restaurant! There are sooo many things I want to try on the menu. The burgers looked amazing but I ended up getting the Maple Infused waffle stack. It was really good. I’ll be back!! Update July 2025: Just had their Monday Bacon Jalepeno Burger special ($13.99) and it was great! Found the tomato vegetable & chicken soup a tad salty though.

A very minimalistic cafe in Downtown Stratford. Loved the clean menu with focused offerings of teas, cafes and bites. The cafe itself is about a year old and run by the owners. We had the Spiced Hot Cocoa and the Chocolate Bomb. The Hot Cocoa was not too sweet and had flavors of different spices which was a nice twist. The Chocolate Bomb on the other hand wasn’t something to my taste. The cafe seemed busy and was at full capacity for the 30 mins we were there. Would suggest to give it a try when in town.

Wicked-cool-amazing signature latte coffee creations. They have flavours that I've never heard of and they will blow your mind. I had the Golden Latte 💛 Love the descriptions of the ingredients on the menu in each drink. They also serve sandwiches with avocado, meat, baked goods, breakfast and smoothies! I don’t know what seasoning they put in the toast with smoked salmon but it’s so damn good, it feels like a fusion of Thai with western style. Love it. Coffee is good as well. All the ingredients are sooo fresh, especially the cherry tomatoes. Good place where you can tell a lot of heart is put into the food.

Great place for a spot of breakfast and deliciously unique coffee creations, the quality is worth the price. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking to have a satisfying fresh breakfast without feeling overly full or uncomfortable afterwards.

Very good brunch with toasts. It’s served with rare black or charcoal bread, clean salad with goat cheese and smoke salmon. Very healthy and light for a Saturday lunch.

I ordered a small Orange Pekoe Tea with cream and sugar at this McDonald’s, and the milk was clearly spoiled and curdled. This is a serious health concern, especially since I was already sick that day — if I had consumed it, I could have gotten much worse. When I went back to the store and asked to speak with the manager, they didn’t allow me to meet them. Instead, the front staff gave me a replacement and brushed it off with irrelevant reasons. This is not acceptable for a brand like McDonald’s. Food safety and proper handling of customer concerns should be taken much more seriously.

I came to this location this morning (order 869). Expecting to have a good McDonald’s morning breakfast. I ordered my cold brew HALF CREAM and it was immediately made incorrectly. Ask them to remake it and it looked the exact same but less coffee. As shown in the photo. I even pointed to the receipt where it said half cream and she could not understand what I was telling her. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing that I can’t get my order right at this location.

I can here with my family spent 30$ for food. I politely go to the girl at customer service. She is doing good service to speak with smile but I requested her to make junior chicken fresh. She said we just make it fresh. I know my friend work in McDonald and they make fresh patty and bun on demand within 3 minutes of wait she just give us old fried patty and fries.🍟 Really bad not hot food 🥘. I don’t like it here. Usually I ordered from drive thru i wait and then get burger. I hate the service here. Management should make sure about it. You get money to work here. My $30 is just garbage here.

Negative 1 star late night they play really loud music that is not even in English. We got a regular McFlurry and it was not even half full. We went up and the manager would not even make it right she said that they only fill it up to the line and it was not even at the line. I went and told them I wanted a refund and I would take my business somewhere also. Went up the street to a place where they actually fill it up. Pretty sad when the manager doesnt make it right and just walks away. Never will be going back there.

My husband and I went to the drive- thru window on March 21st at the Huron Street location. When we asked for napkins the young man at the window shoved a balled- up handful of them to my husband. When I tried to fold them in half I noticed that there was coffee stains on 3 of the 4 napkins. Just to add to our amazing dining experience was the fact that there was mysterious bits of food flattened into the top of one pizza box and on the bottom of the other. We ordered plain pizzas and whatever was on the boxes had nothing to do with our order. A blob of what I suspect was mustard was also smeared onto the top of my box. I certainly didn't order mustard on my pizza. Clean napkins and food boxes would have been lovely, as well as a thank- you from the kid at the window. If we hadn't been leaving town, I likely would have sent everything back. Our pizza was ok, but the rest of the experience was far from great. I understand Tim Horton's is essentially fast food, but honestly...🙄

If I could I could have given a Negative star to this location . Worse experience ever . Today I order a delivery with farmer wrap without any meat in it as a Muslim i don’t eat meat from Tim because of halal reason . And while taking a bite of my wrap what I found was some chicken in side . How can they make such a big mistake when clearly say no meat . It’s not the first time they have spoiled my food . Please I request respect people food . It’s not just job it’s humanity also .

This location doesn’t have a scanner for Tims Rewards, and there’s a notice saying it's not available. It would be great if they could fix this or offer another solution. The next nearest Tim Hortons is too far for me. Hope this can be resolved soon.

Food is the best you can get for pre packaged shipped in crap, the Huron street store Is always backed up, you even wait when you ore order, the service is atrocious, like being rude and not caring is a pre-requisit! That's just Huron street Stratford tho, they advertise internet but it hasn't worked in years!

Cashier is usually the same person and very kind! Had a nice chat with multiple of the employees, and they always get my drink right

Love how this location is in a grocery store, however the happiness of the staff is either hit or miss. I find the ones with great personalities don’t last long and the grumpy ones stay. I’m used to ordering Starbucks from a larger city where everyone is usually always happy and makes my drinks perfectly and don’t look at my drink alterations as a complete inconvenience. 8 times out of 10 my drinks are not made the way I asked them to be served/how I like them, the only reason why I continue to go is because of the location and it’s the only Starbucks in Stratford.

Stopped in for iced coffee & small black. Showed cashier exact ingredients from a pix on my phone see below ‘Iced Espresso’. It’s easier for me to show, rather than try to remember. Cashier was fine entering order & I paid (she did not ask my name, there were people ahead & behind me). I waited at end of counter for my order & cashier (redhead) placed small black coffee down & said that was mine, so I was just waiting for iced. Ladies ahead of me received their order & left. Now just me there, person behind was paying for his order. Girl (blonde long ponytail) set venti cup of iced something on counter & called ‘Emily’. No one was around but me, I asked if this was mine, she asked if my name was Emily, I said no, but cashier didn’t ask my name when I placed. Another girl (scar on right side of neck) said that wasn’t mine & she held up small cup & said mine would be in this. I said no, it’s venti. That’s when she started the rudeness. She abruptly said that needs to be clarified when ordering.. um, did anyone look at initial pic when I placed my order, clearly says venti. So lady with scar hands me 3/4 full drink in venti cup, I said that doesn’t look right. She started arguing that’s because I wanted low ice & there’s nothing wrong with order, that’s how it looks. What? Where, when was that brought up, it wasn’t. Anyways, I then progressed to ask for ice, she added ice into my cup. After I got back to my car, looked at order on cup, was given solo espresso, not double. I’ve ordered this exact on numerous occasions & it’s always perfect, except today, where I understand mistakes happen, although, copying items from phone to place order, but the belittling to a customer & arguing & guess what, I wasn’t in the wrong. It’s not cheap, it’s a treat & just saddened me to deal with this, glad I don’t live in Stratford, as I wouldn’t go back.

Poor service today! Ordered a sugar free frapp for my sister (diabetic) and watched them make it. They put sugar syrup in it. When asked why, they said 'if we don't it won't mix well'. We asked them to remake it sugar free and they said they couldn't, but would make a sugar free latte instead. Without asking, they put in sugar free vanilla syrup and 3 Splenda. Which was not drinkable for how sweet it was. We did not get an apology from staff, nor did they seem to understand the concern about the drink having been made with sugar in the first place.

The staff at this location are horrible. No sense of urgency at all or customer service. They actually seemed annoyed that they had customers. Didn’t even acknowledge anyone while people stood in line for ten minutes. Not friendly at all. Arun and Emily do better

Today, I visited the store to orderd and one of the employee named "Arun" was handled... he's very bad in service like he was greeted, "What do you want ?" then he didn't replied proper for anything and even, he meshed the drink... I will do make sure that.. I WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN HERE.

Located INSIDE the Zehrs store. This is a Starbucks kiosk, so no seating and no chill music, but has pretty much all of the service.
