The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Oahu

Having a front row view of a Hawaiian sunset near the beach is the draw of this place. The menu has changed quite a bit from what I remember a decade ago. (LOL) The cocktails are great! We ordered 2 appetizer/starters (hamachi, octopus) and split a pasta because we had a larger lunch. We ordered dessert (pistachio) but were also presented with a birthday dessert. The service here is friendly and on Hawaiian time. ;)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful dinner at Hau Tree! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and the oceanfront setting made the evening extra special. It’s also a great spot for families — our toddler loved her meal and enjoyed watching the boats go by. Such a relaxing, baby-friendly place with amazing service. Highly recommend for a lovely dinner by the water! ✨

Nice and cute. Disclaimer: The pictures that you normally see online are curated to show a very specific part of the restaurant. Call ahead and make reservations. Ok now to my experience. Food was really good with beautiful presentation. My favorite was the Eggs Benedict, we got the signature ones and the salmon ones, both were very good. Not much of a fan pf their version of “Shakshouka”. Its a very different dish than what i know as shakshouka in both flavor and presentation. Not a fan, but to each their own. Beautiful spot and very good service. The person serving us was very helpful and attentive, also made great cocktails recommendations; always a plus.

This restaurant was truly magical. The beachside view was so amazing. It really gives the holiday vibe. The tree decor inside the restaurant was really unique. The dishes did not disappoint either. I highly recommend ordering the poke cornet and the eggplant is the best I’ve ever had. The pastas were nice, but not as outstanding as other dishes A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the experience and food.

We had such a great time here! The chilled vibes with the ocean, the sand, and the trees around made it feel so relaxing. The menu has plenty of options with nice local flavors. We tried the ahi poisson cru, cured salmon Benedict, ube cinnamon roll, and some fresh orange juice. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff were really friendly too. One funny thing, there were pigeons everywhere! The moment they spot an opportunity, they’ll swoop right onto your table and try to steal a bite. They’re cute, but also a little annoying😂 our lovely little companions at Hau Tree.

Our experience at Hau Tree was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful, and our server Gabe was the best we could’ve asked for — so kind, attentive, and truly made the night special. The Wagyu sirloin was incredible (especially with the dip 🤤), and the eggplant, local fish, and burrata with tomatoes were all to die for. Thank you, Gabe, for making our anniversary dinner the best! Easily one of our favorite meals in Waikiki — 10/10 recommend! 💕

Food and atmosphere was amazing! Service was trash! Don’t get Zach he was whack! Didn’t greet us or acknowledge us just pour our water and left. Gave me oysters with no spoon, and his comment was like we don’t have any small spoons. So how do I add the sauce on my oyster? Then he majically brought a small spoon.

Unfortunately the experience here left more to be desired. We had been seated at the bar with the bar tender as our server. This ordinarily wouldn’t be a problem but they sat some of their usual customers next to us with their dog. I love animals but I don’t like them being inside making a fuss while I’m eating. It’s unsanitary and unnecessary when they have patio dining. We had been sitting there for a bit waiting and instead of addressing us first the bar tender started up a conversation & took their drink and food orders before bothering to check in with us. During our wait they apparently have a very obnoxious tradition of adding money to a jar and shouting “adding to the beer fund” where all of the cooks and servers in the back start yelling and shouting. Not something I would expect at a breakfast spot and it definitely left a sour impression when they had to do it a second time just to get a video and were even more obnoxious. While the food is plated very well it’s honestly nothing to write home about. The flavor profile is lackluster & the portion size to pricing needs improvement. I get more of both for less money at other breakfast spots like Moena or island brew in Hawaii Kai. Not sure I will bother wasting my money here again to give it a second chance.

Some of the best Brunch money can buy, here or anywhere. The savory dishes like Koko Moco and the Ohayou Eggs were huge hits at our table but the Daily special Pickle Plate was the favorite. The sweet dishes totally stole the show tho. The Daily special Mango Buschetta was a near perfect bite. Everyone raved about the French toast and the pancakes. Absolutely amazing options. This place is worth the trip! And you'll want to come back again and again! Enjoy!

Service - 5 stars Elizabeth was great - when we gave feedback she took it well. Coming from Singapore and LA, our standards for Korean and Japanese food are high. Pineapple lemongrass cooler - 3 stars Couldn't quite taste the lemongrass. Bibimbap - 3 stars Loved the use of the cast iron skillet to mimic the crispy burnt rice you get from a dolsot. The gochujang tastes authentic but the dish was a bit one-dimensional. I think it needed more sesame oil and garlic. Ramen - 1 star Would give this a miss. It was way too salty and after diluting it down the broth just tasted like the American cheese. The meats were definitely too salty too. Noodles were so-so.

$8 for one biscuit. Insanity. Oh, and they don't tell you the price ahead of time, so if you aren't suspicious enough to ask, you're just going to get screwed. Overhyped and overpriced all around. The Ohayou Eggs were truly gross. More a dip than a dish there was no real stucture to it and the eggs that were buried in the sloppy mess were multiple temps. Both cooked through and runny. Service is spotty. The host crammed us into a tiny booth while comfortable options were available and stayed so for the duration of the meal. The server was knowledgeable aboit all the dishes but never inquired about a completely uneaten meal. The whole experience was only memorable because now I have a new term for completely overpriced experiences. "$105 for breakfast for 2 people? Total biscuit."

I really wanted to love this place because the food was actually pretty good — creative, tasty, and well-presented. However, the service was a huge disappointment and unfortunately overshadowed the entire dining experience. Our waitress was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. She barely acknowledged us, didn’t offer any recommendations, and acted as if we were bothering her whenever we asked a question. Her attitude was surprisingly rude and showed a complete lack of responsibility or basic hospitality. It’s frustrating when a restaurant with good food suffers from poor service like this. Hopefully the management can improve their staff training, because the food deserves better. I would love to come back someday, but only if the service improves significantly.

My spouse saw a picture of their Koko Moco on the cover of the Honolulu Magazine (June 2016) which led to an article, which led us here. PARKING: I'm a Maui boy, so I have no patience to lap parking lots or perch for would-be leavers. There was a paid parking lot across the way off of 12th Ave. which cost mere dollars per half hour. Sold! ATMOSPHERE: It's a small but buzzing neighborhood cafe with simple decor, open kitchen, and always with a bunch of people outside waiting to get in. MENU: Brunch items, including a full bar that serves up a bevy of brunch cocktails. Yikes stripes. FOOD: Koko Moco This was an easy decision as I scanned the menu online. Their version of the loco moco is traditional in every way except that it's topped with kimchee tempura and served in a small cast iron pan. The white rice was infused with fresh garlic, with the tender homemade hamburger patty sitting on top. I asked for the patty to be cooked medium but it came out medium rare. No biggie. The brown mushroom gravy and sunny side up egg were good, but those unique tempura kimchee topping made the dish stand out. It sounded like an odd addition at first but ended up making me smile. Highly recommended! Lamb Moco This was on the daily specials board and my spouse snatched up the last one. It's similar to the Koko Moco but is made with lamb patties instead. I had a bite of the patty which had a very minute hint of gaminess to it, nothing obscene but you could tell it was not hamburger. The Pancakes The 4-stacker had a nicely flavored batter and was ultra moist, but was oddly stuffed with ricotta cheese in the middles which I wasn't fond of. The applewood smoked bacon topping could've been crispier but added nice savory notes to the overly sweet black pepper maple sauce which was drizzled on the plate. Good intentions but I'd opt for plain buttermilk cakes with butter and maple syrup any day. Dumplings All Day Wong Five pieces, deep-fried. The style changes daily. We were treated to deep-fried pork dumplings drizzled with a citrusy savory sauce and topped with veggies and ground peanuts. Wonderful flavors and highly recommended! Breakfast Bibimbap Wow, this was so ono! The soft and crunchy garlic rice at the bottom of the cast iron pan went well with the cornucopia of toppings and flavors (ong choy, mild-spiced kim chee, bold kim chee paste, shiitake mushrooms, bacon, ham, Portuguese sausage, over easy egg, carrots, bean sprouts, nori and green onions). You'd normally mix everything up before consuming bibimbap, but I'm a patient eater so I took a little bit of everything at each bite. Highly recommended. SERVICE: We were immediately greeted and was told we'd have a 30-40 minute wait. Right on cue, our seats at the counter were ready in 30 minutes. Shannon was our smiley, professional, and pleasant server. She went over the complex daily specials menu that were written on the board, and answered all of our questions. She and the others sure are busy bees! OVERALL: Eclectic menu, delish skillets, great service.

Koko Head Café quickly became a favorite during my trip—I actually went there three times in just seven days! That should say it all. The skillets were hands down the best choice on the menu. I usually went with poached eggs instead of sunny side up, and they were cooked perfectly every time. The “Volcano” dish was a standout—similar to shakshuka with a delicious mix of veggies and sausage, especially amazing when all the flavors are mixed together. I also really enjoyed the Bibimbap—it was packed with flavor and satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff was great each visit. One tip: if you're using maps, it’ll direct you to the closest parking lot, which is helpful, but if you’re taking an Uber it can be a bit confusing. I also parked on the street once next to the restaurant using a metered spot. All in all, Koko Head Café is a must-visit for brunch lovers in Waikiki! Don't miss out trying their pancakes!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/5 if I could!) Sweet E’s Cafe is an absolute gem! The staff here are some of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet — friendly, quick, and so efficient. The food came out fast every single time, and everything on the menu is incredible. My family and I were visiting Oahu for a week, and we ended up coming here every single day. We ordered something different each time, and every dish was amazing. We came to Hawaii because we had multiple deaths in our family and we wanted to do something to kind of cheer up and the waitstaff definitely contributed to making this a fun trip. You can literally truly taste the love and care in their food. If I could give Sweet E’s 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would. It’s that good! 🌺💙

At the corner of Kapahulu and Kaimuki ave is this amazing breakfast spot. Known for their French toast and egg benedicts, just about everything tastes amazing and the staff is great as well. They are always busy but if you have the patience or go later in the morning, you wont be disappointed. My absolute favorite; hands down, are the hash browns!!! The best by far!!

Food: tastes very good and very fresh. The portion could be better. I love their Benedict. Cleanliness: the store is ok but could be better. Staff: very professional and great in handling the crowd. Parking: you can find plenty of parking spots. Price: very reasonable for the quality you receive. I would love to try it again.

Has all the home town diner vibes. Clean establishment and friendly staff!! You have to put your name down on a sheet of paper and they call out whoever is next on the list. It does have a small parking lot but I ended up parking across the street in a neighborhood. I was extremely impressed with the banana French toast. It had a what I think was a banana cream cheese filing and it was like a next level banana foster. Loved it!! Has towns were crispy and delicious. My omelette was packed.

We were welcomed in before we even parked. Given a table before we got out of the car. Even had our waters ready before we sat down. Amazing service and energy. Mohawk man is a real good one. Food came in less than 10 minutes of ordering (we came at a good time) the everyday breakfast was great, can't go wrong with white rice and eggs. Bacon is amazing, eggs Benny was so creamy and the pork was great. We left super stuffed and full, and with some Koko crater advice lol. Safe parking, guys are always looking out for you. Really nice place especially for tourists. Thank you guys!

Came here based off a recommendation to my boyfriend and I, and they did not disappoint. Go the extreme mess dish with a banana cream cheese filled French toast, oh my lanta it was delicious! Service was great, offered us to take our coffees to-go. Thanks for the great experience!

I stumbled upon Cafe Kaila while browsing Google Maps, and let me tell you, it was an absolute gem! I arrived a bit early, only to find it wasn’t open yet, but there was already a line of locals waiting outside. That’s when I knew I was in for something special. I ordered the veggie omelet, and oh my goodness, it was hands-down the best omelet I’ve ever had! The eggs were perfectly fluffy, and the vegetables inside were incredibly fresh and juicy, bursting with flavor in every bite. It was beyond my expectations—honestly, are Hawaiian eggs just naturally tastier? The whole experience was a delight, and I can see why locals line up for this place. Cafe Kaila is a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable breakfast!

Local spot with incredible breakfast, excellent service and super friendly staff. We didn’t wait, but expect long lines later in the day (arrived at 9am on a Monday) The coffee is delicious. Must order. Free refills. Special cornbread waffle with chicken is fantastic. Strawberry honey butter! Great crunch on chicken and crumb on the cornbread waffle. Eggs benny with Kalua pork super juicy and flavourful. Well-prepared potatoes as well. Pumpkin crunch French toast also delicious. Super friendly, helpful and attentative staff. 5/5

breakfast for lunch?… yes please! If you’re craving sweet and savory Cafe Kaila is the place to go. They had a croissant french toast that was divine! and the bacon was just the right crunch! So delicious. Service super friendly and food was quick. Parking always tight stalls at market city but since it was a sunday there wasn’t a long wait. We also went around 2:00 so it wasn’t too busy.

Aloha, one of the best brunch spots on Oahu. The staff is amazing and the food is always changing. They make such great creative creations like cornbread waffles or meat loaf Benedict.. so so onolicious. And be prepared to wait in line on weekends. But it’s worth the wait.

We arrived about 9:09am on Saturday, you sign up on the sheet outside the door. We left at 9:59am! Delicious. I’m so into the sweet service without fluff. Must hit up spot if you love breakfast. For visitors and locals alike. Took me 8 years to finally get here haha, good things come to those who wait, well worth the wait and it’s a bummer the line turned me off for so long. Parking can be annoying but again, worth it.

Great food and friendly staff. We came here twice for breakfast and it was great both times. When you arrive you add you name to the list outside the door and a staff member will come out.

Nice little place to enjoy breakfast food at lunch time. It's not listed as brunch, but it's brunch. Small little place. Good service. Food is good. We got: Coffee oreo scone- it's really good, although we didn't taste the oreo. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be oreo cookies? Cinnamon pancakes- good but could have more flavor. They are huge, about 11 inches or 12. Eggs Benedict- were really good! Cappuccino- not good, was weak. Coffee- was off, like the cream wasn't good to mix with it. Something like that. You do get 1 free coffee refill. Would go back and get the same scone, eggs benedict, and maybe try something else sweet.

Cute spot to grab a bite. We popped in for breakfast. Portions are on the smaller side for the price you pay but overall food was delicious, service and location were great. Would definitely revisit if in the area again.

I ordered the Kalua pig Eggs Benedict with a side of potatos. to go I also ordered A single stack of the Lilikoi Pancake drizzled with cream cheese. which is the Pancake special of the month (soo good!) and my mother ordered ro drink Chai tea latte (cold). and she ate eggs with pineapple chicken/pork sausage mix with a side of potatoes and a Pancake. for my daughter she had to drink Honey Lavender matcha latte (cold). to eat she had avo toast.

Perfect breakfast stop on our way to a hike. My husband and I split the Kalua Pig Benedict and it was divine. Service was friendly and fast. I’m super picky about my poached eggs and they were perfect.

Nice place with excellent food! You should trust the waitress when she tells you the regular pancakes are huge - because they are!! Small plate would have been enough. Excellent place to start off Koko Head Trail.

Food was pretty bland with not much flavor. I ordered the Cuban panini and had to ask for more mustard because I couldn’t taste any. The sandwich itself was also very small. I got it with a side salad, and the dressing had a jelly-like texture. My husband ordered the Loco Moco and said it didn’t have much flavor either. We shared a waffle, but the texture was more like a pancake. I would’ve preferred it toasted and crisp. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the place was very clean. Overall, probably won’t visit again.

Eggs Benedict was delish! There was a very thick piece of very good ham on a huge toasted garlic bread. You can order potatoes with this, but honestly I would not have been able to eat it all bc the Benedict was enough. Hubby had avocado toast and loved every bite. Again, huge toasted garlic bread. Very filling! Passion-orange-guava juice was perfection, especially after hiking up to the Lighthouse. I noticed many others who were eating came after the sunrise walk up Makapu'u Point Lighthouse. Coffee was top notch! Seems like to perfect eat to start your day AFTER early rising for hiking Koko Head as well!

I visited again during this trip, remembering how much I enjoyed the food and atmosphere a few years ago. The food was still delicious and the ambiance was great, but my experience was completely ruined by the behavior of one of the servers. I asked if they could empty the jar I had my lemonade in because I wanted to take it with me, but the server reacted with obvious annoyance, shaking their head in frustration. After emptying the jar, they slammed it down on the table with a loud bang and walked away. I’ve never encountered such rude service before.

I dropped off my car to be detailed at a shop on Kawaiahao Street and was “killing” time before heading to Ward Theater to see a movie at noon. I walked through Ward Centre and the shops across the street looking for a place to have a small meal. My first two choices weren’t open yet and I thought to myself, “Why not go to Scratch?” I hadn’t been to Scratch since they moved out of Chinatown (a long time ago). I was seated near the rear of the restaurant and ordered coffee while perusing the menu. I vacillated between what I’d ordered before (shrimp and grits) and something new. I ended up choosing the waffle with a side of bacon. I asked my server to have the waffle extra crispy as I do not like a soggy waffle. My food arrived in short order … My waffle came with whipped butter, blueberries and strawberries on top and a small container of maple syrup on the side. The bacon arrived in a separate metal tray. Unfortunately, the waffle wasn’t as crispy as I’d hoped for … The color was indicative of a crispy waffle, but it was normal. The reason I ask for an extra crispy waffle is that once you spread the butter and apply syrup, the waffle turns soggy quickly, like cereal once milk is added. It’s a personal preference; I think the waffle would be fine for most diners. The bacon was fine … Crisp but not overdone (which would have been fine with me). I enjoyed my meal and would return to try other dishes. Service was fine too.

The staff were all amazing. So helpful and kind I would have given 5 stars. The food is pretty average, and thus very overpriced. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and French toast. French toast was great, eggs Benedict very meh.

Had a great time during my visit for brunch. My second time visiting and the food, service and experience was quality. The upside down strawberry pineapple mimosa was sooo good and a highlight of the meal! I appreciated the attentive service, our meal came out quick, and the playlist was top notch! Also shout out to the men in the kitchen working hard and whipping up delicious brunch meals. Good cooks who care about the food they put out deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated. Thank you 👍🏾

I went there for brunch and the food was horrible. I spend like $70 but the food was not worth it. I ordered their waffles and berries, it was the most simple tasting waffle ever. The berries on top were also like not enough in my opinion. Street tacos with shredded beef had so little taste. Calentado was below average. I don’t recommend going there and it is also very pricey.

Scratch Kitchen Ward is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Honolulu. Tucked away from the usual tourist paths, this spot offers a delightful dining experience that's well worth the effort to find. The food here is simply fantastic, with a menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Whether you're in the mood for something savory or sweet, you'll find dishes that are not only satisfying but also creatively crafted. One of the biggest perks is the free parking at the shopping center, which makes the visit even more convenient—especially in a city where parking can often be a hassle. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. If you're looking for a place that's off the beaten trail, with great food and easy access, Scratch Kitchen Ward should definitely be on your list!

Open kitchen in the shopping mall, free parking in the Nordstrom rack shopping garage, easy access to. Food are really tasty and not over priced. Service is great! There are brunch, entrees, chefs specials menu. Really nice atmosphere for self lunch or parties.

The backdrop of the ocean with a nice sea breeze sets this place apart from many of the fine dining places in Honolulu. Although there are many sets, the noise level was manageable. There was a nice band playing in the background. The drinks, including the non-alcoholic mint mango were wonderful. My husband even got the mint mago because he loved it so much, and he typically sticks to cocktails when we are out. The goat cheese salad was pretty standard and okay. The hamachi was fresh and had a good amount of acidity. The lasagnette was good, but if I came back, I am unsure if I'd order it again. The seabass and beef tenderloin were well-cooked and enjoyable. Lastly, the hazelnut dessert was well-balanced and delightful.

We've had dinner at Orchids many times, but haven't been back to Hawaii in three years. We had their famous Sunday buffet brunch and dinner on our last night and it was absolutely superb...just as we had remembered! Their seafood is always consistently fresh and prepared masterfully! Highly, highly recommended. Make reservations and ask for ocean-side seating. The amazing food, ambience, gentle tropical breeze, and stunning sunset will make for a truly memorable evening!

First time at Orchids, went with one of my friends who makes it a habit of going here every time he visits Waikiki and it lived up to everything he said about it. First of all the seating at a beach front setting is just beautiful. The warm night breeze on this particular night was just so comfortable and gorgeous. Everything is open to the ocean. The attention to service is outstanding by all the wait staff. I started off with the lobster bisque, then the Sea Bass (I asked the waiter what type of fish they had since it can vary) and finally the coconut cake and a café Americano. The lobster bisque was so thick and creamy and very flavorful. The Sea Bass was very tender, seasoned and very moist, with just the right proportion. I am not much of a dessert eater but the coconut cake was not overly sugary or too soft, but just right. One thing I really appreciated was the presentation of all the foods and how it was not rushed in. The highest of appraise to the talented chefs, and the quality ingredients that were used, the outcome is in the taste, of course. Some tips: call ahead of time for the oceanfront seating, I was here on a Wednesday so I just called a few days before and was fine, but I’m told that sometimes they are sold out. It is casual, but you will see a lot of people that are nicely dressed, so you can dress nicely. I took a taxi to and from to the Halekulani Hotel where Orchids is located at so I don’t know about parking. I did not wait too long to be seated, you check in to the maitre d and wait in the lobby, which is also nicely made up and comfortable.

Orchids was one of the best restaurants we experienced during our recent stay in Honolulu. The food was excellent as we'd expect for the price tag, but the service is what made Orchids stand out. From beginning to end, the staff were helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make the meal feel special. 5/5 would come back next time we're in town.

I went there for my birthday 🎂 The food was super fresh, though I have to say 🤔 the taste was just okay, nothing mind-blowing. What really made the visit special was how kind the staff were ☺️ They helped me take a bunch of sunset photos. And the birthday cake at the end? Definitely hit the spot 😋 If you want somewhere chill with good vibes and friendly people, this is a solid pick :)

For me, the most heavenly place in all of Hawaii. Scenery, Menu - flawless. The Short Rib Ravioli, Hamachi and the Halekulani Coconut Cake is exceptional. Thank you to Scott, for making the whole night so memorable.

WOW. This restaurant exceeded our expectations in all aspects - food, service, and atmosphere. My beef cheeks dish (one of my favorite things to order when I see it on a menu) was just divine, as were the meals selected by my friends. The presentation - beautiful. The view of the coast at sunset was just magnificent and the service was top notch - they even gladly took pictures of us on the lawn just next to the tables. Highly recommend this restaurant for an all around fantastic experience.

I took my granddaughters to this charming little breakfast spot, and we had a delightful experience 🥞🍳. The friendly and accommodating staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Our server, Oz, was exceptional; he checked on us frequently and ensured our needs were met with a warm smile. The convenience of this restaurant being just a short stroll from our hotel made our visit even more enjoyable. And I can't forget to mention the Mac-nut Soufflé—it was absolutely divine, with a fluffy texture and rich flavor that left us all raving.

The menu has everything from plate lunches to local favorites, and everything I’ve tried has been spot-on. But let me tell you — the stouffle is the real star here! It’s hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Imagine the perfect mix between a pancake, a soufflé, and pure heaven. It’s light, fluffy, and melts in your mouth, with just the right touch of sweetness. Whether you go with the strawberry, banana, or classic version, you honestly can’t go wrong. It’s a must-try and worth the trip all on its own! Tucked away off Ena road, Aloha Kitchen is a must stop place for breakfast and brunch. We decided to get there before it opened and to our surprise there was already a line forming. They have a sign in sheet so if you do choose to get there early, put your name down and once they open they will call your name out. We had the pleasure of being greeted by one of their workers who just oozes energy and hospitality. Immediately made us feel welcome and cracked jokes to lighten the mood while the rest waited outside for their seats. Although the interior is small and cozy, it does hold quite a bit of tables and seats. Ordered the souffle pancakes which were super light and fluffy covered with coconut cream sauce and topped with crushed macadamia nuts. The cream sauce had just the right amount of sweetness to it which was not overbearing sweet where you couldn't finish it. Also ordered the eggs Benedict which was savory and well seasoned. The eggs were poached perfectly and was not over salted. Definitely recommend stopping by here for one of your morning breakfast/ brunch when you visit the islands in the Waikiki area. Parking is very limited but if you're lucky, there are places to find parking on the street nearby.

We came here maybe 4 or 5 times while in Hawaii. The soufflé pancakes are amazing! My husband and I got the fruit option and the coconut. I loved the fruit (has pineapple, melons, strawberries). Their loco moco is really good too! I usually get the gravy on the side. For iced coffee, I’d definitely recommend the vanilla iced latte. My husband loves their fresh orange juice. Some reviews have said that the staff are rude. However, I disagree. They are friendly if you are friendly back. “If you give aloha, you will get aloha back”. The wait can be a bit long, but in my opinion it is worth it. Although I do not recommend this place for big groups. It’s a smaller space and they don’t have many big tables available.

Just WOW!!! That's about all there is to say about this place. Food is amazing, and the atmosphere is out of this world 😎Place only seats about 15-20 people, so unless you are one of the 1st to get there expect a wait. It seems the turnaround/wait isn't bad at all. There were about 4 groups ahead of us and we waited about 15 minutes, not bad in my opinion. I had the Kalua Loco, and my wife had the lobster benedict. Had to share the enormous souffle pancake.

Visited Hawaii and took a walk from Waikiki Beach up to Aloha Kitchen such a great spot! We had the guava juice, the loco moco, and a strawberry soufflé pancake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was super friendly, and while there was a bit of a lineup, it’s easy to see why the food is that good. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I visit!

If there is a line, it’s worth the wait. The soufflé pancakes were amazing and the eggs Benedict was great. The atmosphere and the servers were amazing. Everything was perfect, highly recommend.

Why'd they name it Goofy? I don't know, it's an ordinary cafe'. The food was good with ample portions. The taste was good, not great,not spectacular but a solid good. It just likeom used to make if she was a mediocre cook. This place is the same, they have their great dishes and the majority are good. It will fill you up and not make I feel cheated. The lemonade is great! I would back just for a tall cool sip of that sweet and sour nectar. It's an upstairs establishment, do if you can't climb steps, bring someone to carry you. I'd do it for a lemonade. (Disclaimer: if you are height and weight proportionate). So the view of the street is nice. You can sit and watch the people walking by. It is a small place so be prepared to wait. That's about it, it's another local grinds cafe'

Got there 2 mins to 7am when they open and we missed the sign up for first round of tables. We were a table of 2 and landed at number 16 on the waitlist. I'd recommend coming 10 to 15 mins early to sign up on the wait list sheet. Service is excellent. The staff are friendly and the lady spoke fluent Japanese. Those who couldn't wait on the wait list were offered to do take out. Atmosphere is very Hawaiian. The tables and chairs were the theme of a shack house and Hawaiian ukulele music was playing in the background. Cute restaurant on a second floor of a building. We got in at 7:35am and ordered by 7:40. Food and drinks came by 7:50am. Food was so delicious we finished at 7:58am. Papaya smoothie says limited, so I'm not sure if it's seasonal or until sold out. Was very good and can taste the lime in the smoothie. My friend had the POG mix. Strong guava flavour which is good. Not as sweet as my smoothie probably because of the orange juice. We shared the big breakfast loco moco. It was one of the best dishes I've had. I want to come back for the lunch loco moco which comes with fried rice instead of brown rice. The hamburger was slightly charred which gave it such a good flavour. The gravy reminded me of a Japanese hayashi rice. That gravy was savory and had butter flavours. Sunny side eggs had a crispy rim on the eggs. Loved it all and we had side plates so my friend who didn't like her rice draining in sauce while I loved my rice swimming in sauce could both satisfy our tastes. Highly recommend for their loco moco. I will come here everytime I come back to honolulu now. Update: I came back for lunch on a Tuesday. No line up and seating was relaxed. Ordered the lunch loco moco, green pasta, and pineapple iced tea. The lunch loco moco is $5 more than the breakfast loco moco. It was worth the extra $5. Instead of just brown rice, it comes with fried rice with kale, corn, and pork. My friend found it a bit salty after a few bites, but I loved it even more than the breakfast loco moco. It was really tasty and paired well with the pineapple iced tea. The pineapple iced tea was sweet but not too sweet. Bonus, it has free refills. Before leaving I wanted one more refill and the server asked if I wanted to take it to go. Service is excellent and staff are so friendly. Different servers for both visits, but everyone was attentive and all smiles. My friend had the green pasta, she really liked the nutty flavours. I tasted it and it had pesto and macadamia nuts. The garlic shrimp was good, but I felt the shrimp was slightly overcooked. Pasta was saucy, but texture of the pasta was very good and not too soft. Not the dish for me, but my friend said it's one of the best pastas she has had.

Hit this place right in the middle of my morning run. The Hawaiian Omelette was soooo good and the Taro Muffin substitute - go for it! That muffin was so good I ran with the other half in my pocket on the way home… not recommended but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. This place filled my tummy in a way it hasnt been filled in a while, you know that good full feeling that reaches your heart? Yeah, that one.😋 I came by myself and got a table in about 15-20 minutes (Arrived around 7:45am). The staff is so friendly and add to the ambiance. Definitely hit it up. This visit I went with savory, next time I wanna try the sweet stuff 🧇 🤙🏽

Don't let the name make you think this place isn't worth the trip, it definitely is. Walk up, sign the wait-list and wait to get seated. We had bfast here twice this week. The acai bowls are huge, and they are not shy with the amount of fruit added to the acai bowls, or the French toast, so your money is well spent. Coffee is good, the open-air atmosphere is very relaxed. It's an older building, but done up nicely inside.

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and decided to try Goofy’s for breakfast. I ordered the sweet bread French toast with berries—delicious, and definitely something I’d recommend. My husband went with the loco moco; he enjoyed it but felt it was pretty average compared to others he tried during our trip. When you arrive, you’ll need to add your name to the waitlist. We waited about 40 minutes before being seated. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so wait times can be long, though it seemed that parties of two were seated much quicker than larger groups.

This is a must do in Honolulu! Especially if you are close to or staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village! We ate her last time visiting 7 years ago - we’re thrilled it was still here. And loved it just as much this time. It’s a smaller space - and there appears to be a short line all morning - but don’t be discouraged- it is so so worth waiting 5-15 minutes. So many great dishes to choose from! Their Benedict’s are crazy delicious! Had their vegetarian one - and recommend trying it with the taro muffin! I decided on the Morning Power Salad (can you tell we were trying for healthy for this meal - lol!). Yikes was it amazingly good! And you can tell from the picture - very healthy too! I could not finish it so - have a second meal for later! All the vegetables and fruits were so fresh and crisp and delicious! Could not resist the fresh pineapple - and glad I had poor will power. Just capped of a tremendous breakfast. Have to say that the wait staff/team were so friendly and thoughtful - despite being busy. Joshua always had a smile and was quick to help! So highly recommend having breakfast at this awesome spot - almost one of those classic hole in the wall spots that most will miss. Don’t you miss it!!

GOOFY Cafe & Dine in Hawaii is such a fun and relaxing spot. The atmosphere feels local and casual, and the food is fresh and flavorful — especially the acai bowls and loco moco. A very unique & lovely small restaurant with Japanese words and pictures on the menu. The server was very friendly and recommended the Egg Benedict, which was filled with shredded pork and was quite delicious. We also ordered the Loco moco, which was also great and was served with whole grain rice. I like the laid-back feel here !

This morning during our vacation we came here for breakfast. They have quite a good selection of standard breakfast options. Each of us tried something different, and I can say the breakfasts were pretty tasty. I had French toast with Hawaiian fruits — the fruits were fresh and delicious, and the toast was good as well. The coffee was okay, but I can’t really say I liked the matcha. It was very hot, not prepared correctly, and the amount of matcha powder was off, which made it quite bitter. The service was pleasant, and there are comfortable outdoor seating areas. Overall, this is a place you could definitely return to for breakfast or maybe lunch. The only thing I’d wish for is better quality in the drinks, like coffee and matcha. In general, a positive impression🥰

A true island gem — amazing food and atmosphere! We had such a great experience at Heavenly Island Lifestyle! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the steak and eggs, which were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The steak was tender and juicy, and the eggs were just right — a perfect start to the day! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a great island vibe and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Everything felt fresh, local, and full of aloha. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Super tasty eggs Benedict with very generous pieces of salmon. The kale salad was very good and there wasn’t too much sauce; the ube fries were original and crunchy! Very filling, perfect for breakfast before adventuring on the island! Also we were staying in the Waikiki Shoreline hotel and had a discount for this place. I recommend it!!

Great selection of food, juices and smoothies. Located along one of the main Waikiki streets, but with good ambience and great service. Visited few times during my stay in Honolulu. Great menu for breakfast and dinner, but also the happy hours lunch menu had few delicious meals. I’ve enjoyed the food and juices, some of their teas, but also had one of the best pina on the island. Worth visiting. Oh, and did I mention that for 2$ extra each, you can add as many eggs as you like to whatever you’ve ordered? For me that’s heaven.

The staff were very friendly and the vibe was relaxed. The dishes we tried were all pretty good, and I’d come back again sometime to try their breakfast.

We were told that we had to go here. Well, they were right. Get the pineapple smoothie. Made in a fresh pineapple it was absolutely delicious. We also got a couple of other smoothies. They were also great. I ordered the Surfer's breakfast. A nice fried rice infused with Spam, Portuguese sausage, scallions with a fried egg on top. My wife enjoyed her Avocado toast spiked. We also had a breakfast burrito. All good. The views are amazing. Watch the birds, they'll steal your food!

This restaurant was so good. Eating while watching the beachfront made it the perfect spot to chill, relax, and just enjoy some amazing food. The view was gorgeous and the food looked just as good. I got the eggs benedict and an acai bowl and both were delicious, fresh, and hit just right. Honestly, the whole vibe is pure Hawaiian bliss. Great spot to hang out, take in the scenery, and enjoy a nice meal. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

I visited this little restaurant by the ocean and absolutely loved it. The place is very cozy, with surprisingly moderate even low prices considering how high the food quality is. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious. I especially enjoyed the pineapple cocktail, which was amazing. There was live music with musicians playing real instruments, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The place is beautifully decorated with string lights, so it’s wonderful to sit by the water in the evening, listen to the sound of the ocean, and enjoy traditional Hawaiian dishes. I really loved this spot. Definitely a recommendation, the price-to-quality ratio is perfect, and the prices are ideal.

What a pleasant evening by the beach to walk, eat, enjoy the music and watch the sunset. We would definitely come back! We got the poke bowl, surfers fried rice, surf & turf, royal loco moco and vegan loco moco. My only complaint is the fried rice was lacking flavor and not a soy sauce bottle or packet in sight. We added some shoyu sauce but it needed something more. It was really nice to have some music and a little performance too.

I can see why two of my local friends recommended this place. We went on a rainy Friday evening and it was delightful. There are seats under cover. It’s counter service and no alcohol is served because it’s a public park the night we were there. There was live music and locals doing hula which was just lovely. Public bathrooms nearby are adequate.

We had a delicious, fresh lunch at Barefoot Beach Cafe last week. Lots of choices on the menu! My avocado toast with an over-easy fried egg had fresh arugula, tomato and just enough feta to give the egg a nice bit of saltiness, and the presentation on the ceramic plate was bright and cheerful with a piece of fresh pineapple and a flower blossom. There was live music (very good, too!) while we were there for lunch, and the covered seating allowed us to see the ocean while enjoying the shade and cool breezes. A great stop for lunch!

Good was so good. The view was amazing. Fish of the day was swordfish. Watch your food because the birds are fat and aggressive. It was nice despite the chaos. Exempt all the homelessness collected here. Very dirty restrooms. Do not let your children go to the restrooms alone. Found people naked showering in the men's.

I was recommended to go here and I pass along my own recommendation. I would never have ordered them on my own, but after sampling 4 dishes they were my favorite: the Guava Pancakes! My wife and daughter really liked the tropical stuffed French Toast with Portuguese sweet bread. My only recommendation to the chef: add some macadamia to the banana pancakes and they would be 💣

Our breakfast here was wonderful. We shared the special of the day, Corned Beef Eggs Benedict. Well prepared and very tasty. We also had the Tropical French Toast. The pineapple cuts through the sweetness of the cream very well and gives a rich but not overly indulgent flavor. We spent around $60.00 with tip. A glass of soda or tea is almost $5.00. So if you can drink water only, two people will save $10.00. I highly recommend this location and will come back again.

On the recommendation of the therapists at the spa upstairs (check them out!) we stopped for a late lunch. My daughter had the red velvet pancakes, husband kahula pork Benedict and I had the shrimp burger. We also shared a mango stuffed French toast. The French toast was 5+ stars. Husband loved his Benedict. My shrimp burger was good but a little lacking on the shrimp. Lots of bread and three shrimp. It was tasty. Lost a star because the tater tots tasted like old cooking oil. Fries were ok. Pancakes tasty. We brought home plenty of leftover on toast and pancakes. Service was fast and kind.

Great breakfast/brunch spot! Came here with my girlfriend on a Monday morning for breakfast, we were seated immediately and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were given water almost as soon as we were seated, then ordered coffees while we browsed the menu. I felt no rush from our waitress, who also checked in on us often to make sure we were doing good and to offer free refills of water and coffee. We ended up ordering a variety of things to share and taste test, the rustic eggs benedict, cinnamon roll pancakes, and some limited time Dubai chocolate peanut butter banana pancakes. All the food was incredible! Very good presentation, sizing, and taste. For the portions and flavor, the prices are also very fair. we stayed for almost an hour and a half and still left with to-go boxes! Will definitely be coming back some time!

This place did not disappoint! I’d say it was the best breakfast we had our entire trip (5 days). I had the guava pancakes — delicious. My brother had the red velvet pancakes and liked it (looked like cake!). Portions are hearty and service was great. Nice atmosphere too!

I had the eggs benedict with kalua pork with tater tots and it was incredibly filling and delicious. I was so full afterwards that it was hard finishing the tropical stuffed french toast which was shared with my table (group of 4). Stay away from this place unless you truly have no other options but it is not worth your money ‼️ We were seated by a very nice waiter who took our order, and that was it! We couldn’t find him afterward, and if you try asking any other waiter for help, they won’t respond because they’re “not assigned” to your area. Imagine this: I needed a fork and knife. I saw some near the kitchen and noticed a waiter standing right next to them. I politely asked if he could hand them to me, and he said, “No, I can’t. You need to ask your waiter for that.” I waited another 5 minutes, but our waiter still didn’t show up. Eventually, I went and grabbed them myself from the other side. Our order was sitting right in front of us (we were seated near the kitchen) for at least 10 minutes before anyone brought it over only after I pointed it out to the waiter! The burger was tiny, and the service was horrible. On top of that, I ordered my steak well-done, but because the restaurant was busy, they served it medium-well instead. That was a Monday, I can’t imagine how the weekend would look like. Never going back again‼️

Stopped in to pick up a few sweet treats and loved them! They have a fantastic array of baked goods, from your standard donuts and muffins to croissants and danishes. However, some unique options I recommend trying are the mochi donuts and my personal favorite, the coco puff. It’s a puffed pastry with cold chocolate cream in the middle and your choice of topping ex coconut, green tea, etc. While I didn’t take advantage of the diner side, there is a counter where you can sit and eat a regular meal. There’s plenty of parking outside as well.

Fantastic staffing and amazing food in terms of quality and price! They have a funny table back in the bakery kitchen that is so clean and very fun to experience. All of this made us come here twice during our 4-day trip!

This is the original location that started it all. ATMOSPHERE: Parking is pretty plentiful. It's a simple and bustling bakery along with a long dining counter which seats about 20 or so. There was a line of about 10 people ahead of us. Turn over was pretty quick as we sat in about 20 minutes. Reservations are not taken. You get an up front seat of the food being made. MENU: It's a mix of local and American diner fare, and of course the bakery with all kinds of things. FOOD: Butter Rolls House rolls these days are a rarity! Sinfully buttery and moist, the included sweet dipping sauce isn't necessary. Hamburger Steak While it's a very mainstream dish, the highlight was the taste of the homemade patty. It had a nice crust to it and had a great grilled flavor. The gravy was light brown and mildly salty. The mac salad was very good. The entrees normally come with sides of a butter roll and rice, or you can opt for all rice which I did. Luckily my friend did not eat all of her butter roll so I got to try some and it was delish! Hotcake The single piece was big, delicious and creamy. SERVICE: The ladies who work behind the counter all multi-task - cook/serve/bus/cashier and all were so friendly, patient, professional, and helped each other out. OVERALL: Good food, average prices, friendly service.

Great bakery and diner, got the loco moco, and the macnut waffle, both were really delicious. The loco moco had that Smokey taste from the grill, and the macnut waffle was light and crispy, the butter that came with it was very flavorful. Also ordered some pastries. Service was good, the place gives you an old diner.

I love this bakery! Lots of parking, service was a promt, this place can get busy, they have overflow tables in the kitchen! So you can actually see all the desserts being made! Pretty cool! Ambiance is slightly on the noisy side but still able to hold conversation! I've been here several times and the food is nothing short of amazing! Ordered: Butter rolls - 10/10 perfectly grilled nice and crispy! So good I crave it. MacNut Waffles with fruit - 10/10 perfectly cooked, nice and crispy has a nice bite! No need for syrup cause the macadamia sweetens it naturally! Fruit and whip cream were a nice added touch ! Steak and eggs 10/10 cooked to perfection! I opted to upgrade from regular rice to fried rice; fried rice was great! Cheese burger deluxe 10/10 so satisfying the patty was cooked ourfectoy and had a nice char to it, It was so good I didn't take a picture! Buns were nice and toasted well, their potato crisps are nice circle potatoe with a nice width very different but paired well with the burger! Perfectly seasoned too! Loco moco with egg 10/10 the gravy was bomb, about of rice was great! Nice char burger meat, perfectly seasoned ! Perfect plate, and would definitely order again! Coffee - 10/10 free refills, great bold coffee! Desserts: Cream puff, coco puff, matcha puff - 10/10 they are known for it! It's perfect and not as sweet as other places! All desserts are made in house, which I appreciate it! Quality food and desserts! Highly recommend this place!

Do not sleep on Basalt. We came for brunch and were pleasantly surprised. All of the food was amazing but you have to try the charcoal pancakes. They were unlike anything we've ever had before. Fluffy, moist, and absolutely delicious.

An instant Waikiki staple. Great atmosphere to enjoy fantastic food from chef Lance Kosaka. Light music that doesn’t disturb conversation. They have a wide variety of drinks, but I suggest the mocktail “Spa Day” and spike it with Hendrick’s Gin. Nat will take good care of ya. Lance’s spin on a classic Loco Moco will hit every savory gland you have! Sharing this dish and the Charcoal pancakes are a perfect combination to satisfy your sweet needs. ☯️

I haven't written a review in so long, but OMFG my dinner was delicious. 😭 I had the salmon ochazuke and it was the best thing I've eaten in a restaurant in as long as I can remember. My husband had the ribs with guava BBQ sauce and they were delicious too, but I'll be dreaming of the ochazuke until I can return one day.

I had a great experience here with my parents who are picky eaters. My shakshouka was very tasty, and not too heavy, it was a perfect start to my day. My parents ordered the breakfast style prime rib, and were very happy with the flavors. Definitely coming back for the ambiance, and for those charcoal pancakes!

Food okay.Not outstanding just okay. Service naturally okay with an automatic 18% added option to the bill you can see why. They were limiting diners to those that were buying wine upon our visit due to staff shortages. Prices expensive as is everywhere but noodle restaurants in Honolulu. Wouldn't return to restaurant or indeed Honolulu ever again as prices everywhere for food and service are 100% higher than Australia and 200% higher than Europe.

Had Prime Rib, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Their fries are great too. Wasn't crowded, mid week dinner. POG Mousse for dessert was really a topper for the gustatory evening . An amazing dessert experience! Highly recommended . Only ever knew of chocolate mousse before. Who knew there are deserts like this out there??!!

Wasn’t expecting this restaurant to be in a sort of food court. Almost decided not to go because it’s not the most appealing of locations but gave it a shot. The food was absolutely fine and the service on point. The atmosphere is a bit sterile which is the only downside.

Oh my gosh! So dang good! Portions were great, flavor was incredible, everything was perfect. They had so many options and everything we ordered was absolutely 10/10! We would come here again and again. The wait was a little long when we went (Sunday after church). But it was WELL worth the wait 😍 Thanks for an amazing brunch!

If you love Ube this is the place to go. Fun and flavorful ube dishes with lots of purple color and a great price. The line can be a little long, so I recommend grabbing a spot on line with yelp. Definitely recommend getting the Ube pancakes at least one time if you are in Honolulu.

Good! But I don't think it's worth waiting in line for. We went at 7:30, so thankfully no wait. Line started forming around 8am. Food came out on the slower side. Ube pancakes were fluffy. Drenched in ube sauce, so only order it if you're a fan of ube.

A local referred me to this spot. Went on a Friday at 12:30pm. Few people waiting ahead. Put my name on waiting list and was called right away. Ordered the prime rib loco moco and it was worth every penny. It was a good sized portion; tender, cooked to perfection (medium rare), and tasty. There were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try. I can see why it's a locals favorite. Edit: Came back the next day. Arrived at 10:50 and put my name on waiting list, advised that it could be an hour wait (which it was). Ordered the prime rib skillet and the Aloha Ube French toast. This place is hands down one of the best values for food. Not only is the food awesome, the portions were generous. They did not skimp on the meat in the skillet and look at that French toast plate (I'm a pretty big eater and was fighting to finish the French toast). Bookmark this spot! You won't be disappointed.

We went there on Friday about 1020a. This is where the old likelike drive inn is. There is a moderate limit of free parking with surrounding street parking. Atmosphere is definitely more modern and bright. We had the ube pancakes, kalbi & kim chee fried rice, and the big breakfast. We tried the taro latte and guava ice tea. The food and drinks were really tasty. We would eat here again

Small local cafe. Highly recommend making a reservation if you know what time you want to go. Very little parking in the plaza, but there is street parking available and Walmart is across the street. DELICIOUS food, service can be slow when crowded. Great portion sizes and I’ll definitely be back. Worth the 5-10 wait we had with no reservations

Nicest place. On the beach. Great lights and live music. Took 20 minutes to the waiter to reach me for order but other then that was very nice and welcoming. I had the “prime rib staek” which was definitely corn fed and tasted like cheapest steak I have ever eaten. Look at the color in the picture it was curiously red🤨 French fries was cool but not really throughly made. Mashed potatoes was perfect and freshly made.

Tasty food, but very corporate feeling. You could literally taste the corporate in every bite. IYKYK. The calimari was phenomenal, though. They definitely don't make it like that on the mainland. They're not the little rings we're used to. They were big, meaty morsels. Main entrees were underwhelming. Again, see "corporate" comments above. I'm blanking on our server's name, which is extremely unfortunate, because she was top notch. I really, really wanted to give her a shout-out here, but then vacation happened and I'm just getting around to leaving reviews now that I'm home. Brittany, maybe? I hope so, because she deserves the recognition. Beautiful ocean views, but again, the whole place feels a bit corporate for my liking. The buffet looked ok, but pretty skippable, so we opted to order off the menu instead. The hula pie was simple but delicious. If you like ice cream cake, it's 100% going to be your jam.

What an incredible dining experience! Glad we had made reservations...although we were told it wasn't super busy. Got our tables after getting a drink in the bar. Our server Mario was exceptional. Started out with the poke tacos. Wife ordered rhe prime rib and I got the filet. The prime rib was enormous and it was a small cut! Cooked to perfection. My filet was the perfect size and also prepared expertly. Added a visit to the all you can eat salad bar and was not disappointed. Would definitely recommend for a great meal. And if you get Mario for a server you will be in for a treat.

Fun location. It is a classic. The food at the beach bar is tacos burgers etc. Good quality the drinks are well priced. Typical entre around $20 Riley was great with suggestions and recommendations.

I'll always remember my trip to Oahu and my bday dinner at Dukes. The atmosphere was amazing.I love the decor and of course eating dinner on the beach at sunset was incredible. I had top-notch service. The server Frank was incredible and the manager. She came and checked on all of the tables and was very friendly.

Duke’s is everything you’d want in a Hawaiian dining experience! We first went for lunch and loved it so much, we came back a few days later for dinner. The Hawaiian-style casual vibe, paired with a fresh selection of fish and steak, made every meal memorable. We were seated right by the beach, and hearing the waves while enjoying dinner truly added to the island feel. The outdoor atmosphere was absolutely perfect: relaxed, breezy, and so scenic. And let’s talk about dessert… their Hula Pie is a bomb! Sweet, creamy, and the perfect way to end a beachside meal. 🌴🍽️🌊 If you’re looking for island favorites with an unbeatable view and delicious food, Duke’s is a must-visit!

Pulled Pork Nachos, Coconut Shrimp, Fish Tacos, Mai Tai, Blended POG with vodka, and Coconut Mojito were yummy! We sat at the table area close the flower stand and it was pretty hot, would be nice if they added fans to the area to circulate the air. Cyerrah K was our server, she was very nice and attentive.

We went here for our anniversary breakfast. My wife loves the mochi pancakes here. You get plenty of food for the price. The coffee was good here also for brewed.

Andrew helped me out and he was awesome. Super personable and the grilled cheese and soup was fire. Located in the Hilton Waikīkī.

The waitresses were fantastic! Great service! The food was alright - the fried rice was a little bland in comparison to other restaurants, but the bacon, sausage, and the pancakes were fine. We did encounter a cockroach on the floor, though, and the area is slightly open to the outdoor so I couldn't have written it off but the young waitress just pushed it out of her way with her foot so nonchalantly that her reaction seemed like a norm and not a one-off.

Wanted to try here for breakfast as I seen the pancake challenge in the menu. I would've assumed the Pancakes were good. To be Honest? It's okay. Nothing extraordinary or exciting, just Pancakes. No distinctive flavor, nothing different from a regular diner. Everything we ordered, seem liked regular diner food, just with a slightly higher price tag. If you don't want to walk by near by establishments and want to stay in the hotel. I guess this place could work, if you're looking for a bite to eat. Just know you'll be paying for convenience.

Came here for a birthday breakfast, and it was definitely interesting to say the least. The location is in waikiki at one of the Hilton locations right behind that of waikiki resort hotel near the ABC store. So we parked with WRH for the 6 dollars an hour rate. Went over to eat, and I really enjoyed their mochi Belgian waffle. But what I thought was really cute, was the little robot droid running around serving food. :)

Calamari appetizer didn’t come before our meal and honestly I wish we hadn’t gotten it. Not very tasty, but very expensive. Thai salad was good. Loco Moco was ok. Pizza not good.

Nice diner type restaurant set in the Hilton Waikiki Resort hotel! Diner type atmosphere in a five star kind of resort! Food was delicious. I had the Mac attack which came in big portions. Could not eat it all… not a pancake person but the pancakes were delicious and the bacon and eggs were too. Definitely coming back…

We had one of the best breakfast buffets ever at the Plumeria Beach House within the Kahala Hotel. The service was great, the views are incredible, and the breakfast spread was outstanding. If you're looking to treat yourself for breakfast, this place is highly recommended.

Everything was incredible, every bite was perfection. The crab was sweet , and fresh, the sushi was incredible, the grounds are breathtaking. The dolphins are so cute and healthy. Very well cared for. The only thing is I wish the buffet was bigger. The selection was relatively small.

Pretty views with indoor and outdoor seating and reasonably comprehensive lunch menu. Friendly staff and efficient service. The chicken on my Chicken Caesar was a bit dry on the outside but the romaine lettuce was well dressed so that helped moisten it.

I'm guessing we went at a wrong time. Not impressed with their breakfast buffet, not at all. The selection was bad. Didn't get my money's worth. We'll try lunch or dinner and update. But a nice view.. some servers were nice, a couple ladies were not really. Overall, nothing special that worth coming back for a breakfast buffet.

After our elopement in Hawaii, we reserved a lunch at The Plumeria Beach House to celebrate, noting the occasion in our OpenTable reservation. While the message didn’t seem to make it through, the moment the staff overheard us talking about our wedding, everything changed—they came by one by one to offer congratulations and even surprised us with a sweet little cake to celebrate. It was such a kind, genuine gesture that made our day feel even more special. We both ordered seafood dishes and they were incredible—so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive without being overwhelming. And the setting? Absolutely stunning. Open-air dining with ocean views right from our table, with the beach just steps away. We took a walk down to the water while waiting for our drinks, and it felt like something out of a dream. This place is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. We’ll remember that lunch forever.

Dinner at Plumeria Beach House was a standout. The fried ahi poke musubi was crispy, savory, and packed with flavor. The Crispy Wok Fried Prawns were perfectly cooked, and the chicken fat rice was rich, fragrant, and addictive. A classic Mai Tai tied it all together — smooth, strong, and tropical. Amazing food with an unforgettable view.

This place is all about the location if you want to eat overlooking the ocean, with well manicured greenery around. The views, breeze and the experience are all spectacular. You'll leave this place smiling and unfortunately for us it wasn't the food that did it. The food is super average for vegetarians. The grain bowl I had was just palatable. The burger was the same. For this location, I wish they gave a bit more attention to their food. The service and the staff were super friendly and attentive.

We arrived shortly after opening and there was already a line out the door. This is typically a good sign for most any restaurant. After ordering we were able to sit at a small table and enjoy the morning rain. The service was efficient so our food arrived fairly quick for such a busy spot. I ordered a hot London fog with Mac nut milk. It was perfect. As I sipped it it reminded me of fruity pebbles. (5 stars) The London fog paired perfectly with the fig honey glazed scone we ordered. The scone was moist but had a great crumble to it. There were thick chunks of fig throughout the entire pastry and the honey glaze on top made the perfect balance of sweetness. (5 stars) Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich: When it arrived the house-made buttermilk biscuit looked almost as of it had been fried and had difficulty looking appealing. After the first bite things started to improve. The egg was scrambled and well cooked while the red onions and spicy mayo added just enough extra flavor to keep it interesting. The cheddar fully covered everything and was melted so nicely. It was tasty but it was also the kind of sandwich to leave you feeling heavy. (3.5 stars) Breakfast burrito: The burrito started off strong. The first bites were savory, cheesy and a little spicy. The dipping sauce that came with the burrito complemented all the flavors well. As the burrito progressed it became slightly overwhelming due to the excess of cheese and meat. Next time I'd skip adding the extra bacon to it. (4 stars) Lastly the Mac and Cheese pancakes: if you like feeling as though you could pass a way from a heart attack at any moment this option could be for you. The pancakes are fully coated in fried cheese and stuffed with macaroni. After my first bite I began to feel ill. I tried several bites just in case it could get better but it didn't. These were the most overwhelming pancakes I'd ever eaten. We initially ordered them because it sounded fun and exciting. We were not prepared by any means for this. (2 stars) Overall Morning Glass was a great experience and we'd love to go back to try more pastries and other items on their menu. We felt as though this place has a lot of great potential and maybe we just ordered the wrong things for us.

A must stop when on Oahu! Such friendly service with AMAZING food and drinks! We got the Vietnamese coffee and Sucker Punch- both full of flavor and great. We got the biscuit sandwich and biscuit and gravy which were both flawless. They have a great array of pastries as well

Morning Glass should be labeled as a morning or brunch restaurant and not really a coffee shop or cafe. There’s always a line but never feels busy & I was served quite quickly after ordering. Most tables have food orders and while they serve delicious coffee and espresso drinks (and even have an express counter for such online orders) you’re not invited to occupy the space with work or leisure time outside of your dining experience. I wish they would expand and include a relaxing coffee shop vibe as they have improved the decor a bit, though watch for rain clouds & use provided umbrellas. My cortado and blueberry crumble cake were delicious. 🤙🏼

My wife is the coffee drinker and she is really picky about her coffee, she doesn't even like Kona Coffee. With out a doubt, Morning Glass Coffee is her favorite coffee on Oahu. I love their breakfast sandwiches so we both give this place 5 stars

The place has a nice chill vibe. We went around 10 am on a Wednesday, and there was little to no wait. We got the blueberry scone which was delicious, cold brew which had a good strong taste but still refreshing, the sweet tea was amazing with a hint of mint, definitely try the strata...I don't know how to explain it but it was delicious and savory. The real star was the macaroni pancakes. They were savory but sweet and deliciously cheesy. It blew our mind. It's a big portion, so I only ate about 1/4 of mine and saved the rest for later. They have dedicated parking but it is small.

Nice café away from tourist areas. There's often a long line due to the slow service as the barista juggles orders and making coffee. The carrot cake and London fog were great, but the other pastries on my second visit were just okay and pricey. I'd return for the coffee and carrot cake. Overall, I'm giving it 3.5 stars.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I waited 25 minutes just to get my coffee cake warmed up. What made it worse was that people who came in after me and were dining in got served first. It felt like takeout customers weren’t a priority at all. I understand things can get busy, but this kind of service is frustrating — especially for something as simple as warming a pastry. I expected better organization and fairness.

I visited Arvo Coffee Shop in Honolulu and had a fresh green salad along with an amazing cold drink and a latte. Everything was delicious, and I enjoyed it so much! Stopped in for a quick coffee to-go but ended up staying and enjoying our drinks there. I had the matcha with lavender syrup and my husband had their iced tea. We were greeted by the sweetest girl at the counter. Absolutely recommend!

ARVO at SALT is such a vibe. I’m already planning my next visit! I ordered the matcha latte with lavender and it was tasty. I especially enjoyed the latte art on top. It was so cute- almost felt too pretty to drink! I found the price of their matcha latte to very reasonable compared to other places in the Honolulu area. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating an inviting atmosphere from the moment I walked up. The outdoor seating area has the perfect vibe. It’s stylish- filled with plants and benches/ tables with cute boho-chic umbrellas. This is the ideal place to relax and enjoy your drink. I also noticed some people had their laptops out and we’re getting a little work done. If you’re looking for good vibes and friendly service, ARVO is definitely worth the stop.

Stopped for an iced matcha as a treat on a hot day. It was perfect and such a cute little spot. Cheaper (and better) than Starbucks too! I’ll have to try some food next time. I got the iced lavender matcha with whole milk.

I really wanted to love Arvo Café, but unfortunately my first visit was underwhelming. I ordered a matcha, two of their food items (the avocado toast and smoked salmon toast), plus a slice of banana bread. Everything looked nice when served, but the flavors just didn’t stand out — nothing felt particularly special or memorable. The matcha especially was a letdown, lacking the richness I was hoping for. That being said, I do want to give this place another chance. The vibe is cute, and I know some spots just require finding the right drink or dish. I’ll be back to try something different next time, especially since I love the Salt District and was excited to see what Arvo had to offer.

I love Arvo. It’s completely worth the hype. The meatball toast and the ricotta toast is so delicious. The secret of this place is their bread, it is so delicious and crunchy. Their matcha latte is always delicious, perfect amount of matcha and milk. The space is really beautiful, it gives European outdoor seating vibes. I really recommend! It’s on the more expensive side for breakfast but it’s worth it.

Given that I'm from Texas, I'm not used to birds flying around restaurants and attempting to eat off my plate, so that made me uncomfortable. The food was overly priced but expected since it's Hawaii. The avocado toast and acai bowl were great. The rest of the food we got was decent. They have great views and good customer service.

Paco was our server and he was awesome. He was very accommodating with our nut allergies and had great recommendations on what we can eat to avoid cross contamination. We had the fish chips which was great, not oily, perfect about of batter. Chicken taco was great, meat was flavorful and juicy. View of the restaurant is stunning over looking Waikiki beach. I for the first time had coconut martini and it did not disappoint. This combination can be dangerous.Restaurant is clean. While enjoy our late lunch we heard Sirens alerting us of a tsunami, of course we all panicked and Paco did a great job calming all the guest and ensuring everything will be fine and to enjoy lunch. Overall great experience here.

Great concept but missed the execution. My seafood coconut chowder had excellent flavors but everything was slightly below temperature. My husband ordered the fish special and his meal was warm, not hot. But again, the flavors were fantastic. Not sure whether the servers or the kitchen are the cause, but I’m leaning toward the kitchen. Pouring hot coconut broth over cold fish makes everything just warm. Perhaps it’s me but I like my hot food to be hot!

Wonderful restaurant with a fantastic view of the beach and Diamond Head. We did happy hour and had a couple of appetizers and salads with fish. The prices were reasonable and the staff was courteous and helpful. Lunch was quite good. Beautiful view and great food.

The food is subpar at best. We had very dry chicken and very dry fish entrees. The local salad was bland. Just order the Hula pie and that’s all. It’s a very nice dessert. The staff and service are excellent. They just need a new menu and chef.

We had a great lunch here. The fish and chips were delicious (very crunchy and good flavor) and the loco moco was a great surprise (no burger patty, but a variety of other meats). The service by Luis was excellent; he was friendly, professional, and helpful…superstar/management material for sure!

I heard a lot about Eggs ‘n Things so I had to give it a try! Upon arriving, I expected there would be a wait as we had gotten there around 8am. Overall wait was around 30ish minutes. Upon entering we were greeted and drinks were served pretty quickly. We then met our server and put our order in. I had gotten the Plantation Pork Chop which is pretty much a piece of Ham. It tasted nothing like a pork chop unfortunately. My girlfriend had gotten the Eggs Benedict which when eating, there were eggshells in it. I’m not sure why but I expected a bit more, of an experience, but it fell a bit short unfortunately.

Stopped by Eggs ‘n Things for breakfast, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The food came out hot and fresh — everything tasted just right. A big shout-out to Kent and Giselle, our table servers, friendly, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Excellent hospitality and great service all around. There was a short wait, but it moved quickly thanks to their iPad check-in system — just make sure you sign in on the iPad when you arrive so you’re in line to be seated. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area and want a hearty, satisfying breakfast! ☕🍳🥞

🌸5 on 5🌸 The breakfast here was absolutely delicious! My favorite part was the coconut syrup with the pancakes it added such a unique and tropical flavor. The scrambled eggs were very tasty too, with a subtle coconut undertone that made them even more enjoyable. I especially loved the French toast; it had a soft, cinnamon flavor that was just perfect. I highly recommend this place to tourists! If you can, try to grab a seat by the windows overlooking the beach it makes the whole experience even more special.🌺

30 minute wait, food was very good, views of the beach while we ate. They were busy, I didn't like the '1 free refill' on some drinks, so we had water as well. Too hot on the beach to not hydrate properly. I never did get a refill on the mango unsweet tea, but did get one for the water even though I asked the waitress which came by with the pitcher of water. The Moco Loco was very good, good sized portioning. This restaurant does have restrooms, unlike the McDonalds and the permanent food trucks like Blue Ocean, which told us to go to 'that hotel right there', which by the way used room key cards to access the lobby restrooms.

My child wanted pancakes, so we stopped by — and it was such a great choice. The pancakes, omelet, and coffee were all delicious, and the view of Waikiki Beach from our table was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place to enjoy our last morning in Hawaii. Mahalo!

Local breakfast spot on the main strip of Waikiki and beach front view. I recommend getting here early; I was sat within 5 minutes at 7 am, but the line outside quickly grew within 15-30 mins. The food was very delicious, homestyle breakfast. My family got the blueberry crepes and kids plate. The crepes were filled with blueberries and had tasty burnt ends, make sure to ask for the macadamia syrup. I got the furikake nut crusted ahi rare with rice and sunny side up eggs and it was very good. I plan om returning one more time on my vacation. Skip Cheeseburger In Paradise and come here!

Fun sporty atmosphere with football helmets, baseball signs, wheeties boxes on the walls. A sign posted out front stating they will take your order outside, pay inside at the booth, get your table, then they bring out your food. I ordered the seafood special omelet with hash browns. Inside the omelet was crab, shrimp, onions, mushrooms and cheese. 1 word, SCRUMPTIOUS! My husband ordered the Kahlua pork eggs Benedict with fried rice. His egg yolks were not soft, but that was the ONLY drawback. He thoroughly enjoyed his also. We both got water and he got root beer. Total was $54 & change. Not sure what Guy Fieri ordered here but we're glad we ordered what we did. There was a wait to get in, but the wait did not take more than 15 minutes, and well worth it!!!

Went for breakfast and came out full and well satisfied. Food is super tasty. I would recommend getting a short stack of pancakes (plain , banana or with nuts, I went with banana ) and order the special Mac nut sauce to go on it. Also try the beef kalbi. Be prepared with your order before you enter the restaurant . You place your order at the door and then go to you table.

Pretty disappointed in this... we had a table of 6; 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 children. They charged gratuity without saying anything and it does not show up at the checkout. If your paying by card it automatically prompts you for percentage gratuity to add. So I had no idea that we were already charged gratuity. I know prices are out of control here but this seemed very deceptive. So, BE WARNED, if you have a group of 6 or more, gratuity is already included! Otherwise, the pancakes were 8 out of 10, have had better here, but they were still good. The portions are modest for the price ($19 for 2 eggs over easy hashbrowns and 4 slices of spam about 1/3 a can). The service is not that great, they acted put out by asking for creamer for $4 coffees and do not expect someone to refill it because it's very unlikely to happen. There is a sign that asks for grace as they are short staffed, but the sign was the shiny permanent type glued to the wall. I don't know how they could be short staffed with making 40% gratuity. Be warned!

The food was good. The banana pancakes were absolutely amazing. However, there is absolutely no reason they should be $22 for just two cakes. I experienced the amazing cakes, but will never pay that price for them again. My breakfast cost me $42 for an omelet and the cakes.

Beautiful views & exceptional service. Had drinks here last night & they played great music. Relaxed by the pool for a bit & their breakfast was excellent. Very short walk to the beach from here. We really enjoyed our stay & this restaurant was the icing on the cake.

We came here for brunch after our Diamond Head hike. The view was spectacular (see photos) and the food was hearty and satisfying, perfect for after hike. Service was so lovely and both the host and the waitress were very happy to chat with us. They have THE BEST Loco Moco here (and we've tried 3 other loco moco on the island). The drink menu looked so interesting and we regret that we didn't try any drink.

The atmosphere was beautiful overlooking Diamond Head and a very narrow view of the beach sunset that everyone squeezed in to share. We were a party of three. It took about an hour to get the food which I was ok but they got the food wrong and thus had to wait another hour. So it took almost 2 hours. I didn't want to eat it any longer. There was no comp, no comp dessert, or any discount to the bill just constant apologies for staffing and large parties. We didn't even get a visit from the front of the house manager. Unfortunately, the food and wait did not meet the expensive bill price. I highly recommend another restaurant which Waikiki has a plethora of. Also, they need to remove the purple potatoes from the menu. If you don't know how to present or season it, it shouldn't be on the menu. It was a huge miss and disappointment and I love Japanese purple sweet potato. A positive is that they offer vegetarian and GF options (just bring your own Adobo or Lawry's seasoning in your bag.)

It has a Great View If you On top Of the Hotel , if you travel with pets and the army they don’t Bother you to clean the room since they are aware there are Pets In the room , very Nice People around , no complaints at all with Others Guests. Very small Being in the 16th floor But overall it’s very nice and good to sleep comfortable too. Doesn’t Include Breakfast And It’s Kind Of expensive. The Beaches Are right there Near the Hotel . The Pool Is small But really nice for the Kids

Perfect eggs Benedict. 👌 the cocktails were delicious. The staff are amazing. The kitchen must be doing something right because everyone is loving the vibe everytime I checked and visited for breakfast or to go see the amazing view.

Service was questionable… poor management.The food was pretty good but by 8am they were sold out of the berries for their Tokyo style pancakes. Food took a very long time to come out. Basic hygiene should also be gone over with the staff. Also not sure who we spoke with, the manger? But I’m not sure why we were told “you always need a reservation here” when they were slow and that was absolutely not the case when I checked with the host.

Wow… where do I even start? I came for dinner at sunset and the view of Diamond Head glowing orange and pink was absolutely breathtaking. The vibe inside is cozy and stylish, perfect for date night or drinks with friends! I got the Spice Girl cocktail (balanced, not too sweet, with a spicy kick!) and a double of Ilegal Mezcal that was smoky, smooth, and perfect. For food, I had the house wedge salad with lilikoi vinaigrette (had to swap dressings bc of my allergies) and Kauai garlic prawns 🦐 which was fresh, crisp, flavorful, and honestly one of the best salads I’ve had on Oahu! My friend ordered the fish tacos (mahi mahi katsu with lilikoi slaw and Hawaiian chili aioli) plus the truffle fries and house blonde ale. He devoured everything. And according to him, those fries are the BEST on island. Shoutout to Abby, our server, who made the entire night so special! She was warm, knowledgeable, super mindful of my food allergies, and genuinely one of the best servers I’ve had in Honolulu. If you come here, ask for Abby! She’ll make your experience 10/10.

I highly recommend this place — we ate breakfast here almost every day during our stay. The staff are always full of positive energy, especially Derek at the counter. The food is very good, which is the most important thing. Prices are reasonable, and if we come back to Honolulu, this will definitely still be our favorite spot for breakfast.

Super ono! Had the French Toast, which was prepared perfectly, with lots of very fresh, ripe fruit. Wife had Bogarts Acai Bowl. Also had Yuzu Smoothie which had outstanding flavor. Owner/Manager on duty was very polite and helpful handing out orders. They did it all perfectly, can't ask for any more than that!

While visiting Hawaii, I was excited to try different acai bowls. Bogart’s Cafe stood out and was probably the best acai bowl I had during my trip. I liked that it was icy like a sherbet, not watery like some others I tried. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Amazing breakfast spot really close to Diamond Head and Waikiki! So many great choices, sweet and savory. The Hawaiian Waffles are incredible - the haupia sauce is just dreamy, with fresh fruit and a perfectly crispy waffle. The ribeye loco moco is also top notch with tons of flavor.

The employees are very welcoming. We order the acai bowl and loco moco, the food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely a place to visit and try out. Highly recommend!

Ono local kine place with good grindz. I have had the avocado toast, mahi fish tacos, and the fried rice bowl. All were so good! The staff are friendly and helpful, always with a smile and laugh to make sure you enjoy your food and time while at Bogarts Cafe. One thing to note - Parking is tough so plan ahead. I usually use Biki as there is a Biki Rack next door to Bogart's. I have been different times of the day and it may or may be busy. But, you can usually find a table quickly. Overall, I give Bogart's Cafe a 10/10.

If I could eat here every day I would. The whipped cream is delicious I want it on everything. The garden patio is adorable, the entire dining room is beautiful. I love the lacey hash browns and you cannot go wrong ordering anything on their menu.

The vibe here is just perfect. The atmosphere is so charming and the service was wonderful. The food was really good and the coffee was great. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but honestly, it's worth it for the overall experience. Highly recommended for a special breakfast or brunch!

Great experience! Very attentive servers/staff. Very cute small place. Food was sooo good. We got the classic omelet(mushrooms, caramelized onion, bacon, potato, gruyere cheese). The fresh strawberry soufflé pancakes(so fluffy and light) and the French onion soup. Probably the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. As per other reviews, yes it’s a bit pricey but that’s the reality of being in paradise. You should expect higher prices on vacation than when you’re at home🤷🏻‍♀️ They’re also organic and use only non gmo ingredients. Highly recommend this place👍🏼😁

Absolutely the most adorable place I’ve ever dined. The people here tend to you like your family and make the entire experience so enjoyable. Every dish belongs in a magazine, it’s that beautiful! All of the flavors are so delicately crafted together and make you smile with every bite. The absolute best foodie experience we had on the island!

Delicious coffee and fantastic crepes (both the vegetarian and the chicken ones). Portions weren’t huge, but everything was super tasty! Cozy atmosphere and excellent service.

It was the best breakfast experience for our 10 days trip here. Interior is so beautiful and unique, service and atmosphere are gorgeous. Food is delicious, try the fluffy pancakes, it’s a peace of cloud in you mouth. Thank you for your hospitality.

The service here shines more than the food if I'm to be honest. I've been here with friends about 4 times and every time we're always greeted with a smile. The servers are always attentive to coffee refills and water. I personally don't think the food is even close to the best I've had, but I still like this place. I had the salmon Benedict, French onion soup, and coffee. The French onion soup was just okay. I know this is hard to believe, but a commercial steak house has a better French onion soup. It wasn't bad or anything. It was just okay. The salmon benedict was also just okay. I've had better at Mom and Pop shops.

Found this place via Google Maps. Lilikoi pancakes and poppyseed muffins were great. I had the #2 breakfast and the biscuit, eggs and bacon were just right. Covered seating outdoors by the sidewalk was pleasant, although view of street and parked vehicles nothing to shout about. Metered parking on the street. (And someone was patrolling the street checking meters and writing tickets while we were at the restaurant. ) Note, nothing available for strictly vegan diets. No substitutions/ customizations on the omelets. Service was very nice and helpful, prompt.

Great place! The staff was friendly and service was fast. I had the Denver Omelette and my daughter had the French Toast. The bacon was perfectly crispy just like we like it!

Wonderful experience here! The wait was a bit long but WORTH IT! We met the owner and he suggested we order the Lilikoi pancakes w/ the mango sauce on the side! What a great choice! We were able to try both delicious sauces with the mango being the winner and our favorite! Fluffy pancakes and one of the best meals we ate on the island! The owner was so sweet and came over to check on us which made our experience! Service was friendly too! We will be coming back soon!

It was great!! Early bird gets the worm though, parking is tough. The food was bomb. Shout out to Jeff for recommending the passion fruit icing that took the pancakes to the next level. Highly recommend - it's fast, it's local, and it's good.

Just had breakfast at this cute little spot in Kailua and overall had a great experience! I ordered the Corned Beef Hash with hash browns - it was good, though not mind-blowing. The main ‘difficulty’ was that they only had packets of ketchup and soy sauce. Could have definitely used more seasoning and honestly about three times the amount of ketchup they provided. The real standout was the lilikoi pancakes - absolutely delicious and very flavorful! My wife got the French toast and rated it an 8/10, which came with pork link sausages. We also got an extra serving of that amazing lilikoi sauce for the French toast - it's incredibly creamy and makes everything better. Service was excellent, shoutout to Crystal who took great care of us. The restaurant gets very busy so expect a wait, and parking is a real challenge since it's only metered street parking. Good luck finding a spot! Despite the minor issues, the food quality and service make this place worth the visit. The lilikoi sauce alone is reason enough to come back.

We had to come here after my 10k run and boy was I hungry for some great breakfast. We had to wait 45mins + to be sitted as we came at probably the busiest time (Also it was 4th of July). But it was worth it. I got the Lilikoi pancake which was amazing and my husband got the main breakfast plate. It was worth the wait and price. PS- Do not park at the shopping center in front of it, there's a guy who sits there to watch people who dont go to the stores and tow.

We visited Haleʻiwa Bowls on a Sunday morning around 10 AM, and it was packed — clearly a very popular spot! The outdoor seating area is super nice, surrounded by plants and trees, giving it a very natural and relaxing vibe. You’ll even see chickens wandering around, which adds to the authentic Hawaiian atmosphere. We first ordered a large $16 bowl to share, and it was so fresh and delicious that we actually went back and ordered two more small bowls afterwards. The flavors were natural, refreshing, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The place attracts people of all ages, but we noticed a lot of young people hanging out and enjoying their bowls. Overall, we loved the experience and would definitely come back. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and such a cool, lively spot in Haleʻiwa. Highly recommended! 🌺🥥🍓

Haleiwa Bowls is one of those spots that just hits the right vibe the moment you walk up. Super relaxed, beachy atmosphere, friendly crew, and bowls that taste like someone actually cares about what they’re serving. The fruit is always fresh, portions solid, and the blends come out smooth, not watery like in some tourist traps. It’s a bit busy at peak hours, but the line moves fast and the wait is worth it. Perfect place to grab something light before heading to the beach or cruising around the North Shore.

Best acai bowl I've had on the island. Excellent portion size and everything in the bowl including the base is fresh. I've had bowls elsewhere on the island and the smoothie base is frozen, which is harder to eat as it doesn't melt fast enough. The staff are so friendly and do a great job at making the bowls. A definite treat on a hot summer day.

This bowl hit the spot! Got the Hapa acai bowl, the fruit was all fresh and delicious. Got peanut butter on top which was a perfect addition. The large size goes fast! I really enjoyed the granola too. Atmosphere is cute, with chicken and birds roaming, hoping to get some stray dropped fruit

Hale’iwa bowls is a favorite spot of mine to stop after a day on the north shore, especially after spending time in the hot sun and the salty ocean. A delicious treat. It’s super popular and their parking is tiny so I suggest parking elsewhere and walking down to their spot. Although you’ll see a lot of people waiting on their bowls, the girls behind the bar are super quick and it’s well worth the wait.

Both Açai bowl and their cold brew are great. The fruit they used for the toppings are super fresh. All staffs are nice. The only downside is they don’t have table seating. Only some benches for the customers to seat.

We have tried several açaí bowls while on the island. These are hands down the best. Everything was so fresh & the açaí was so smooth. And the fresh coconut SO VERY yummy!!

Finding this place was a bit tricky because I did not realize it was downstairs from the Main Street. It’s a small shop, but with wonderful açaí bowls and service. The “premium” bowl was delicious . Their white chocolate macadamia latte was amazing. It had such a great taste to it. The lady who helped us was the sweetest person and had such a great attitude and provided excellent service.

I 100% recommend coming here! I always have many questions because of some things that I can’t have and Leah was so accommodating. The Aloha here was amazing and so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back again! I got the tropical bowl, Brazilian style and oh my goodness so yummy!

Honestly one of the better tasting Acai base I’ve ever had. It was super fresh and had a smooth taste to it. The toppings were amazing too but the Acai itself was sooo good. You can also get a coffee or smoothie or tea. There are some food options as well. I would totally come back here. Great stuff. Good spot to bring your laptop or take to the beach and have a fresh lunch.

First impression was super clean place. Once we were ready to order the girls working there were super nice and helpful. But the best was the actual açai. OMG! If you are from Brazil you know what I’m talking about when I say that was a GOOD açai! Run, don’t walk if you are craving top notch açai. Will def go back!

Three star place. Staff were nice but not very motivated to be there it seemed and lacked excitement to explain menu options. Açaí bowls were good but not desirable and lacked toppings even when add ons were paid to be added (paid for peanut butter and only a drizzle was added). Would go somewhere else in the future although the location is convenient.

A new friend recommended @tropicaltribehi close to our hotel, so we decided to check it out today. It was a little tricky to find it since it wasn't in the upper level. We stopped at Subway to ask and found it at the lower level. Hubby and I shared the Hawaiian style small bowl with premium topping, which had bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and honey. It felt like I was eating ice cream. Just enough to share. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here during my long layover at HNL. I was seated at the counter which is perfect to check out the kitchen actions. The staff is very efficient but friendly, my order arrived in a few minutes. The shrimp burger definitely hits the spot. The wasabi whipped cream and the pickled cabbage give the extra kick to the deep fried shrimp patty. I just wish there's small chunks of shrimp in the patty which would add to the texture. The seasoning and the toasted brioche buns are perfect complementary to the sandwich. The mixed green salad is heavily dressed in avocado sauce and it's on the sweeter side, perhaps a dash of lemon juice for a bit acidity. I would return for their breakfast and juice menu next time.

So happy we came here! This spot was the perfect stop before heading to the beach, and it honestly made our whole morning. Every dish we ordered hit the spot and felt balanced, flavorful, and satisfying without being heavy. We really enjoyed the overall atmosphere too. Parking is tight in the area but plenty of pay to park within a quarter of a mile or so. Upon arrival you enter your info into the pad to get entered into queue. Table was ready within 5 min or so, they have seating both in and outside. Restroom around the corner. Now the good stuff…. Their food is amazing! The Kaluah pig hash was massive with enough to take home for breakfast the next day. Wonderful mix of flavors, would definitely order again. Husband said fried egg sandwich was flavorful. The orange-pineapple juice was delish. All in all we were very satisfied with both the service and food, would definitely return.

Great food! I got the custard French toast and it was delicious!! Good portion sizes, but i had to get the half because it was just too much food for one person. Everyone is super friendly and the kitchen is buzzing! Loved the experience and cant wait to be back!!!

You can eat inside or outside, I chose outside and it was such a cozy place. We arrived 30min before close and I felt horrible but they still served us! (Left a nice tip hehe) ANYWHO! The sandwich I got was THE BEST breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. For Kailua/Kaneohe the price was good! 10/10 do recommend this spot and this sandwich with avocado it made it SO MUCH better and I can’t WAIT to go back for another (the potatoes were perfect, not under or over cooked they had the perfect crispiness, chefs kiss MUAH! 💋🤌🏻

During our stay, we dined at Over Easy and it ended up being the best meal of our entire trip. The service was quick, the food came out fast, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We were seated much sooner than expected, which was a pleasant surprise given how popular the restaurant is. The overall experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend Over Easy to anyone visiting the area for the first time. It’s absolutely worth the stop.

Classic Aiea Diner located right off Kam Highway thats been around for decades. Decided to online order breakfast and pick up since that area can get busy on a Sunday morning. Online ordering was seamless, hardest part was finding parking and getting out due to the traffic in this area as its on a main artery👍 Ordered the Big Boy Breakfast and the Guava Sweetbread French Toast. Reasonably priced, the Big Boy Breakfast with Fried Rice, 3 eggs, bacon, portugese sausage and link sausage was a great start to the morning. Unfortunately the Guava Sweetbread French Toast lacked taste...so wouldnt recommend. If youre in the area, check em out. If dining in there are always people waiting so take out might be a better option🤙 4 stars.

I LOVEEEEEE island brew!!! This is my go to spot for coffee, breakfast, or lunch! Anything and everything you get at island brew is delicious. Service is always great and the vibes are unmatched. You can come with friends for brunch or by yourself to work and grab a coffee, it’s always a good time. Plus sitting by the water with the gorgeous view of koko head is the icing on the cake! Make sure you stop by if you are in Hawaii Kai!

We've visited twice so far, and this is hands down the best coffee we've had on Oʻahu. The Hawaiian honey latte was fantastic, perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too bitter. On our second visit, we tried the Sunrise Tea, which was exactly what we needed after an afternoon of snorkeling and hiking, so refreshing! We also had the spicy avocado toast, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot for both drinks and food. We'll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed Island Brew Coffeehouse! The outdoor patio is beautiful with a chill, relaxed vibe and great views, especially near the water in Hawaii Kai. The space mixes comfy seating, bright open patio areas, and touches of local art, which makes it perfect to relax, work, or hang out with friends or family. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, quick to make recommendations and genuinely attentive. The food was fresh and tasty, loved the sandwich and Eggs Benedict, plus the pastries were solid. The coffee was excellent too, they use Hawaiian-grown beans roasted weekly, and the cold brew is smooth, made with care. Overall a lovely place to unwind and soak in Honolulu’s atmosphere.

We make it a point to stop by this spot about once a week, usually right after finishing a climb up Koko Head. It has become one of our favorite post-hike traditions, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Some of the standout dishes we always recommend are the avocado toast, which tastes even better with a drizzle of Sriracha and a fried egg on top, and the French toast, which is always beautifully presented (definitely worth snapping a picture). The atmosphere is one of the highlights—it’s bright, welcoming, and comes with a lovely view of the bay. Whether you’re stopping in with friends, spending time with family, or just looking for a casual place to enjoy brunch, it feels like the kind of spot where you can linger and chat for hours. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, they’re pretty typical for the island, and the quality of the food, combined with the setting, makes it well worth it. On average, you can expect to spend somewhere around $30 to $40 for two people, which is a fair deal considering the overall experience.

This place is great and a must when you are in the area. The food, coffee, location and atmosphere are incredible. The views from the patio are worth every minute of the visit.

Island brew coffeehouse is an amazing place for an afternoon lunch. The scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Had the spicey aioli chicken sandwhich and my girlfriend had the peanut butter Thai wrap. Highly recommend both! Would come back for the food and coffee but stay for the outdoor seating. 100% recommend if you're in the area.

The queue was quite long and the wait for drinks was long too. However a very cute spot. Loved the paintings on the wall. The outdoor area is quirky. The view is stunning! Located in a shopping plaza. Theres a big car park and lots of other shops around.

Absolutely need to eat here if/when you are in Waikiki! Not only was the food amazing and delicious but the service and atmosphere were great! This restaurant is literally right at the water’s edge. We were fortunate to sit right at the open window to Waikiki Beach- waves were gently rolling into the wall that was less than 2 feet from us. The sun had just set and we enjoyed the twilight’s glimmer across the water and boats off the coast. The service was spectacular from the engaging young lady that sat us to the attentive Eli who was our server. My wife enjoyed an extremely generous dish of Saimin- with great noodles in a delicious broth with fresh broccoli and tasty pulled pork (yes I cheated and couldn’t resist trying her her dish - and was glad I did!) The fresh fish (they get fresh local fish each day!) for the Macadamia Crusted fish was Hebi - which I had not had before - was very tasty. And the sauce with the fruit blend was perfect. We topped it off with a great chocolate cream pie (that they added just little Carmel sauce just under the crust - subtle but tasty add) Highly recommend you eat at the Monkeypod Kitchen Waikiki for a fabulous meal and amazing view/location. You will be glad you did!

A Lovely Spot: Monkey Pod I'm so glad I stumbled upon Monkey Pod! This cute restaurant has an AMAZING view, and the service is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and the manager is a rockstar! Try their Passionfruit Foam - it's a taste sensation! And, OMG, their Mahi-Mahi Burger is delish! Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection... except for the soggy fries (just sayin'). We also tried the Jerk Chicken, which, unfortunately, needed a bit more cooking time. But the manager was super cool about it and gifted us a comp card to come back and try more dishes. We took them up on that offer and went back for potstickers, apps, and drinks - everything was yummy! Service was consistently great, and the atmosphere is just lovely. If I were you, I'd go for drinks, apps, and the Mahi-Mahi sandwich or burger - that's where they shine! Worth a visit! P.S. As for me, I prefer my Mai tai’s on the sweet, so Mai Tai cocktails at the Dukes or Mai Tai bars are still my fave!

Stopped in for a light lunch after walking around Waikīkī. Bulgogi tacos were flavorful and had a great fresh taste with the added jicama and jalapeño. The shrimp with the cornbread was decent. The bread dished up a little too much of the oily sauce, so mostly had to eat the top portion. Located right on the water, and the view of the surf and surfers was beautiful.

Our waitress was awesome. We were there at night so we did not get to enjoy the view which is supposed to be spectacular along the whole restaurant. Food was good, not cheap and a pretty limited menu. The saving grace were the delicious dessert pies - Coconut Cream & Dreamsicle (still $14 a slice, but all organic and it is Hawaii after all). The fish sandwich was good, but fries are extra $...come on, fries should be standard with a $23 sandwich only for dinner. My husband enjoyed his macadamia nut crusted fish. We were sat on the farthest left side (upon entering) by the corner open wall and one booth away from the kitchen - - it was ungodly hot - even with tons of ceiling fans on high and all the walls completely open. The heat from that kitchen came in unrelenting waves, extremely hot - way too uncomfortable and put a damper on the night, slightly miserable. They were totally packed, and no place to move for a while - and we even had reservations, but it is a crap area to sit. Then the NOISE!!! Even though we were at the edge of the restaurant next to a huge open wall - the noise was deafening (we sat corner to corner) and still had to lean in and talk extra loud. Between the heat and the noise, it was sadly not a great last meal of our week in Waikiki. Daytime...maybe with the view by the open walls or, better, outside. But, we would NOT sit near the kitchen and without some serious noise abatement we wouldn't return for a relaxing meal, even though the food was good. Too bad, as the location is nice.

The kalua pork pineapple pizza was delicious. The Maitai was yummy, loved the foam on top. You needed it for the perfect blend. My boyfriend ordered the margarita pizza (which in my opinion was the wrong thing to order in general because I think that’s the most boring order ever, but he claims to like margarita pizza) but anyways, he said it was one of the worst executed margarita pizzas a he’s ever had. We also shared the bulgogi tacos which were flavorful. However, he has a sweet tooth and couldn’t make a decision which pie to get and we just went with the traditional banana crème. But the server was so sweet and brought us both the banana one and the orange one. And I loved the orange one. Definitely a cheesecake texture for the that one rather than pudding texture like the banana one.

Wonderful!! The view was more than I could have asked for, and our server JR was amazing. Very friendly and helpful with things for us to check out on the island. I was able to order from the kid menu which was a big plus because I’m not a fan of breakfast. It was enough to nibble. We came back several times on our trip. Their food is farm to table and you can certainly taste the freshness. Their pog juice is legit!

My company held an event here - and the staff were absolutely amazing! From prior planning to the actual night of the event, everything went extremely smooth! Joy Ohata was my POC prior to the event and she was exceptional. Vanessa, Kyle and Dean were also wonderful. The entire staff were accommodating and very pleasant to work with. The rooms were also large, clean and very beautiful!

I haven't officially stayed here as a guest, yet. But my family has come here on many occasions for breakfast or lunch at their plumeria beach house resturaunt. It's a beautiful location where you can see the ocean, as well as when you're done eating, you're free to roam the area and see the beautiful architecture and structure of the hotel. They also have Dolphins here that you get to see. Which they are quite playful. Just...for me, I have my own personal views on this. But beside that, none the less and regardless, it's how they get attention as a tourist attraction. And these Dolphins have sprayed me with water with water on occasion as I would watch them, of course they don't do it purposefully, but as a small playful gesture to some guests who just kinda stand there watching. But the food here is incredible and of good quality. 👍 Good for parties as well, cuz we hosted a party of about 20 and they helped with providing one choice bentos for everyone, which were surprisingly well catered. And good for birthdays as well. ^_^ So please check out the Kahala Hotel and Resort, as it is a beautiful area and their beach area is quite nice as well. :3

This place is incredibly charming. We had a wonderful stay. What makes this place extra special is the service. The staff is very attentive, kind and accommodating. We couldn't believe how well the staff took care of us - as simple as cleaning and organizing our rooms for us while we were out and about. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Also this hotel is very quiet. It's tucked away from the city. Our beach was also quiet and not crowded at all.

We loved our stay at The Kahala Hotel! The property is stunning and so peaceful. Our ocean view room was perfect with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, and I bet the golf course views were amazing too. The food was great, and the breakfast buffet was unmatched. Plumeria Beach House was our favorite spot with delicious food and beautiful indoor-outdoor seating right by the private Beach. Seeing the dolphins up close was interesting but also a little heartbreaking. They are such smart, social animals, and the swimming space isn’t big or deep, with their backs exposed most of the time. It felt like such a small space for them. Overall, the property feels posh yet relaxed, the staff were amazing, and the turn-down service was such a nice touch. Great stay barring the dolphin enclosure!

We spent a resort day at The Kahala Hotel & Resort and it was absolutely amazing! The pool and beach setup with private chairs facing the beautiful ocean made for the perfect relaxing day. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and welcoming. While we didn’t stay overnight, if we were to plan a full vacation in Hawaii, this would definitely be the place. A special bonus was watching the dolphins with their trainers throughout the day—it was such a unique and wonderful experience to see. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable time in Honolulu! Thank you for an amazing day!

This is a great hotel. I stayed for a week. However I was really bothered that 6 dolphins are kept captive here. They have never known a moment of freedom in their lives (they range in age from 17 to 40 years). In the wild, these majestic and intelligent animals swim for miles and dive deep and live in complex social structures in their pods. Here they have none of that, instead they jump for fish and pose for photographs with tourists. This is no way to treat animals.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic service. Hawaii is a pricey destination, but the Kahala delivers on service, quality, location and overall experience. I wish we would have stayed longer… It‘s the small details that count for me when doing luxury travel. The Kahala left no wish unanswered. The beach is a dream, great for snorkeling too. And of course the Dolphins are magical. We upgraded to Ocean View, 10th floor and were able to see them from there too. It was just perfect.

We stayed as a family with children 3 & 12. Enjoyed every day, room service was great, the room with a kitchen is very convenient due to the large fridge. We had room with view on the city - still great - 23rd floor. At night, not too loud. AC was working great, 5 elevators are sufficient for the property. Area around is very attractive with lots of options for swimming, dining, shopping and walking. Complementary ice cream and parties on Fridays are joy for kids

I had room 1118 I the tower for a week. I came with two friends who left after two nights because they found it noisy and for a group of three, a bit crowded. I'm an old NYC boy. The mild city noise was not a problem for me. The room was immaculate and luxurious (if I could have taken the shower and bed with me I would have done so) and the view was mesmerizing. Sunsets with cocktails and coffee with sunrise on the balcony are not to be missed. Downstairs the lobby is charming and mostly open air - open air adjacent at least. A pretty good restaurant and a superior bar are right there. Try Elijah's dirty Martini if you need a boost! The location is also perfect... but I'm babbling now. In Oahu, try the Ilikai, you'll be happy, I swear!

Unfortunately, we did not stay in the Ilikai proper. We stayed at the Shell Beach Club rooms, which face high-rises, a parking garage, and a very noisy Alamoana street. If it wasn’t for the thick class windows that look out onto our little trashy balcony, we wouldn’t have slept very well because of all the noise from the trucks, buses, motorcycles, sirens, and Bull horns. (people complaining about employment at the Ilikai.) There’s a slight silver lining to this review. The valet personnel for parking are fantastic. They are the sweetest kindest people and very professional. They deserve a lot of credit and they are almost all young people. It’s too bad that we didn’t get a better room, Because then this review wouldn’t be so negative. The room seems a bit dirty. We had a Pot that was corroded with no lid handle on it and some of the dishware chipped. And it’s kind of dirty in the kitchen. We had to change rooms because in the first room they gave us, The air conditioner was broken. Sounded like the roar of a semi truck. So things are going bad Here. I would never ever recommend the shell Beach Waikiki Club to anyone and it’s owned by Wyndam. So spoiler alert. Watch out for hard sells on timeshares and promotional sales packages, Especially in or for Waikiki places-you never know what you’re going to get.

My family and I stayed for a week,. Overall, the restaurants are very good and the staff is super friendly but our room didn't get very cold, the beds were very hard (the pull out bed was more comfortable), and the water pressure in the shower wasn't very good either. I will say we were on the 24th floor (oceanside) and the view was immaculate. I would say the beds are really the only problem we had.

Rooms are dingy, poorly patched holes in walls and bathroom door, dish drainer was filthy, sheets were stained, outside of building has rust stains, paint not touched up in room, mold-stained grout and caulk in bathroom. The staff was amazing! Very helpful and personable. The furniture was in good condition. The fridge, microwave, bathroom, and dishes were clean. Location is very good. Right on the beach and close to the Hilton bus depot, ABC store, Ala Moana mall and bus stop.

Older room decor, but decent shape. Balcony was a bonus, even though we didn't face the ocean. Pool looked ?-able, but people were using it. Having car rental available was priceless. Restaurant was way over priced, but hey your in Hawaii. Gift shops have convenient items and will leave your wallet way lighter. Location was great and little south of downstrip (downtown shopping strip) of waikiki.

The hotel is perfect for the price. Conveniently located. Valet parking is such a nice experience. It is $45 per night but they are super quick bringing your car down and are so pleasant. Definitely worth it for the price. Full kitchen is so nice to save money on food. Having issues with the TV. Remotes haven't worked. Idk if batteries are dead but we've tried switching them out and still no luck. We are in room 1329. Beautiful views of the marina.

Came here today as recommended by my husband’s friend. I got a beach sandwich & my husband got a chuns bomber (not pictured). Food was good but had to wait 25 minutes for the food & had to walk back to our hotel to eat it since there are only 3 tables to sit at

Came here for a burrito, coffee, and a pup cup and left very happy! The breakfast burritos are so good, super fresh ingredients, and even the tortilla tastes amazing. This time I also tried their iced coffee, and it’s my new favorite! It’s macadamia & vanilla roasted (not syrupy, the beans are actually flavored that way), and it’s perfection. Plus, they have FREE pup cups! My picky cats give it 2 paws up. 🐾🌯☕️

Service was nice, food was ready relatively quickly. They do not seem to have dedicated seats, there are a few (5?) around, but people are randomly sitting there after buying something nearby.

Good place for a quick bite to eat. I had the Chuns burrito bomber which was really good. ~$15 for a pretty large and filling burrito. You can order ahead before your walk down and pick it up once you get there if you don't want to wait around. Definitely recommend!

Kalua nachos were very good sweet bbq sauce over doriritoesq flavored chips, and delicious kalua pork. Hawelia burrito was piping hot, but a little heavy, lacking complexity until you include the provided salsa which tasted very good together.

Someone recommended this place to us and they were raving about how good it was. We walked here from our hotel so by the time we arrived I was so hungry and ready to eat. I ordered the old school sandwich. It was served with chips which were absolutely delicious. The sandwich was 5/5! So good! The BBQ on it was very flavorful and tangy. The portion was generous and filled me up. The pork was excellent. Very fresh tasting even though we ordered close to closing time. The best part was the staff! They were so kind and not bothered we were ordering 10 minutes to close. Would highly recommend. Absolutely worth the walk and the price.

Tasty fully loaded breakfast burrito. Great portions, I had leftovers. The smoothie was fresh and fruity way to round out my delicious meal. Great for food on the go. Was easy to order ahead so no lines, and food ready on time.

The best malasadas that you can buy in Hawaii! This is a legendary spot to taste the the best malasadas you'll ever have! It's always crowded. The customer service is great and everything is always hand-delivered fresh to you. When you take a bite it literally melts in your mouth. They have a variety of selections with different feelings you can choose from, or you can get the original with no filling. The choice is yours, they also have cold coffees that are really good. This is a dessert that you must try while you're in Hawaii! World famous Leonard's!

We stopped by Leonard’s Bakery for breakfast with my wife and daughter, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! We ordered one of each malasada puff — chocolate, hopia, custard, guava, macadamia, and the special flavor, pumpkin. Every single one was delicious, but the guava was my favorite — light, fluffy, and full of flavor. We even had a fun moment chatting with a Filipina staff member who happened to be from the neighborhood right next to my wife’s back home in the Philippines — such a small world! Don’t let the hoard of people standing out front scare you away - they are very efficient and we were in and out within 10 minutes! The malasadas were fresh, warm, and perfect! We’ll likely go back again before our trip is over — and honestly, you should too!

Leonard’s Bakery is a must try when you're in Hawai’i! Their special pastry dough is fried to perfection — light and fluffy. . When we first arrived, the crowd was pretty intense, and we thought the wait might take forever, but it turned out to be pretty quick. I was able to order right away since everyone was just waiting for their food. There’s no seating inside—it's mainly a to-go spot. I ordered two malasadas, one with cinnamon sugar and another filled with guava. I also ordered a Portuguese sausage wrap and an iced coffee. It took about 15 minutes for our food, which was pretty fast! My husband and I loved the malasadas and the sausage wrap. The iced coffee wasn't really my favorite, but overall, everything else was great. If you're in Hawai’i, make sure to check them out!

Easy to find, however once you see it you better turn in or you'll have to reroute your way back. Parking lot is small, so if you get a parking spot consider yourself lucky. Order inside wait outside, easy flow. The pastry is a Portuguese malasada, and it is absolutely DELICIOUS! I got the cinnamon pastry. I should have ordered more, especially a few cream filled ones. They make to order, be patient, enjoy the weather, it's WORTH it.

The parking lot is super super small! The line to order was fast pace. I didn’t wait long for the doughnuts but it was so good! It was nice, fluffy, and warm.

Went around 4pm and waited 15-20 minutes. We got one of each flavor. TBH I only liked the cinnamon and custard ones. The other flavors just tasted very very light. They came out warm which was nice but they do not taste good when they’re not warm.

We visited this market on a Saturday morning and really enjoyed the experience. We arrived around 7:20 am, and there was still plenty of free parking available. At exactly 7:30, they blew a horn to signal the official opening, and the line of people started moving in — a nice touch that made it feel like a well-organized event. The atmosphere is lively, with live music, colorful stalls, and a wide variety of tropical fruits, fresh produce, and food vendors. I had a delicious açaí bowl and some freshly fried mochi balls that were crispy on the outside and soft inside. We also picked up some fresh dragon fruit. The only downside was not finding whole pineapples — some vendors had them for juice, but we were hoping to take one home. Aside from that, everything was very clean, well organized, and full of energy. The market gets busy quickly, so I recommend arriving early for easier parking and a more relaxed stroll. Overall: a vibrant and diverse farmers’ market, perfect for tasting local flavors and enjoying the outdoor vibe with Diamond Head as the backdrop. Definitely worth the early wake-up!

Le Saigon banh mi was too yolky and dry and the papaya salad was refreshing and light, but I prefer it to be more fishy and spicy. The mini lobster roll was good but was very expensive. Takoyaki was mid, nothing special. The fruit was tasty and sweet except for the pineapple, which was a little sour. Would recommend to get there early with ample parking and shorter lines. Was there for about an hour to walk through the entire market.

This Farmers Market is a little smaller than I thought. It is a popular place on visitor's guide. Morning summer weather is nice. Food and drinks are good. It is more than a food place than a farmers market. The prices of fruits are much higher than on the market in my opinion. It is worth to try the foods and drinks here. Parking might be easier if you try parking lots on the far side. It is not a bad idea to drop by diamond heads look out 5 mins away. Reservation is required if u want to go further to the crater.

We had so much fun here! Early Saturday morning, easy parking though it was very packed, people were leaving as we were coming in. It seemed like a consistent flip. There was a great variety of foods from coffees and breakfast to smoothies, Hawaiian, Mexican and beautiful Acai bowls plus fruit and vegetables to take home. I took a lot of local fruit home with me to last most of the week 🩷 can't get those flavors out of my head. Wish I could get them more easily in the 48.

A lovely market but smaller than I expected. Therefore more crowded with people. You can find many well-known local eats such as the pig and the lady here. Or fresh local fruits and veggies. Most of them accept card payments. Given the fresh greens are on the pricey side on the island, I would say here might be the best place to get tomatoes and such since they’re not so expensive and very good quality.

Always a good time! Huge selection of produce, food and drink and artisanal items. Go early and beat the crowds. Recommend taking a loop and checking out the prices on everything before you commit to purchasing because there can be some large differences for the same produce.

This is a lively local market that has a bit of everything. There are lots of freshly made food options, and it’s always bustling with people — a great place to visit on the weekend. The only downside is that the location and parking can be a bit inconvenient.

Super delicious! We had the fresh fruit rainbow pancakes, pineapple pork chops, chicken strips, and Kailua pork Benedict on taro bun. Everything tasted great, and we will definitely eat there again! Servings were generous and could be shared.

The pancake was good and big in portion. The coffee can be refilled for free. But that was American style coffee which I cant drink too much. Overall it is nice!

Not sure about the hype with this breakfast chain. It reminded me of IHOP. I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs, which were cooked well, but the price was high and the overall offering felt generic. I would recommend supporting a local small business instead.

Got sat quickly, ordered immediately and food came all within 15 mins! Great service and amazing food. We had the kalbi & eggs, special omelet (Portuguese sausage, spinach, white onion & cheese) with POG juice & guava juice

One of the absolute best breakfast I've had on the island. Great food and friendly staff with great customer service experience. Hawaiian loco moco and Keiki Pancakes with coconut whip and coconut syrup absolutely delicious.

LOVE this cute coffee shop, the decoration, and the drink options were very good. I got the Da Kine Ice coffee because a friend of mine recommended and I am glad I listened to him cause it was super good, hubby got the Coconator since he loves coconut but he didn't like it, it did not taste like coffee in it more like milk with flavor. Overall, he had a great experience, an absolutely beautiful shop.

Selling their brand name coffee in the main store with a side area of plenty screened indoor & outdoor seating. The espresso won’t blow your socks off but you can’t beat the price & atmosphere. Lots of variety of baked goods with both vegan and GF options. I recommend for the great patio atmosphere 🤙🏼

Coffee were great! We ordered hot coconuts latte, cappuccinos and an Açaí bowl, all tasty. We also really enjoyed the gifts shopping here, got a couple coffee mugs home and enjoyed our 🐓 🐥 🐥 companies.

Just checked this out while waiting for our brunch food to be served nearby and i was surprised by how good their coffee is! I also got some chocolates and they were good as well! Coffee price are not too bad although the chocolates were kinda pricey

We absolutely loved this spot while visiting Oahu. Besides good coffee, a very cute shop, yummy baked goofs & the sweetest staff, what I enjoyed the most was the beautiful area they have next door to relax and enjoy your goodies. Beautiful murals in gorgeous lush surroundings. I didn't find a nicer coffee shop setting while on the island. I could have sat around all day. You can sit inside or outside, both are great. There's also some seating right out front on picnic tables. They have the cutest little coffee bean plushy mascot (more on that later). My husband had some espresso & I enjoyed a latte. I also tried a macadamia lilikoi bar. It was delicious and reminded me of a tart. I wasn't paying attention to it while talking to my hubby, and a local chicken got to it, so I recorded a few of its little pecks before getting removing it, but it was delicious while it lasted. My husband says they were also playing great music and he really enjoyed it. I really appreciated that they had a lot of sampler bags to pick from. We bought several to try when we got back to the mainland, and we loved them all. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a good coffee shop on the North side of the island. After trying all the samples we got while on the island, I picked my favorite blend and decided to order some from their website to have at home. I placed the order and was shocked at how quickly it was delivered, especially around the holidays. I ordered the big bag of my favorite and also ordered a sample size of the Christmas blend. I was so surprised and the love & care that went into the package that I received at home. It reminded me of my experience on the island and brought it all back to us. What an awesome way to connect people back to those memories! Kuddos to Coffee Gallery & their staff. There was a handwritten thank you note inside, along with a free sample bag of their Ha espresso blend (which my husband loved when he had it at the shop), a Coffee Gallery tote, a Keychain, AND one of their little coffee bean mascot plushies! I told you more to come on that. While there, I REALLY wanted to buy one because they were so darn cute, I LOVE coffee & thought it would look really cute in my coffee corner at home. But, I didn't buy it and regretted it when I got home & didn't have this cute little guy in my coffee spot. Well, they solved that problem for me! Will keep visiting every time we go back. Y'all are in our hearts forever! Mahalo ❤️

Fantastic coffee pastry place on North shore in the North shore plaza. The staff is really nice and knowledgeable. So many coffee options and great selection of specialty drinks. Good selection of pastries and snacks. The place is really clean and it has a great indoor seating spot and a great outdoor patio picnic vibe. Highly recommend

Pricey for breakfast but worth it. Love this place. Eggs Florentine was perfectly cooked. Did not like the garlic fried rice, it would’ve tasted better with toasted garlic pieces. All the showcased baked goods looked so scrumptious I wanted to try them all. The grilled butter rolls with jelly were freshly baked and so airy & fluffy. Restaurant was packed on a Sunday morning. The tables are too small and too close together. Parking lot was full. Conveniently located near the airport making it a good place to grab something to eat before your flight.

This is 1 of the bakeries. Crowded at breakfast time, but, place is large enough that can accommodate swiftly. I didnt wait 2 minutes. I sat at counter that faces kitchen/bakery. Interesting/fun to watch them create the dishes/pastries they are known for. Staff is very friendly & attentive. I ordered house specialty, Mac & nut waffle w/ chicken Karaoke. Awesome suggestion/choice! After stuffing my face, I continued my calorie climax, by visiting the bakery counter. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ OMG!! The choices were unbelievable. "Ummm, 1 of those. 2 of that. 1 more of those, please" 😆 🤣 😂 A must stop on the island

This place is where we are most of our lunches while working nearby. Everything on the menu is really good. A lot of comfort food, breakfast, and lunch. The Ham, cheese, & avocado, sandwiches are amazing, and the pork belly locomoco is a near second. The chicken and mushroom dish is also wonderful. The servers have always been friendly too.

This a very nice restaurant with a lot space. I had the best Loco Moco I've ever had. The beef patty was char broiled with gravy and eggs over rice. 5/5. The ox tail stew was excellent as well. There was also a bakery inside with all the delicious goods. Must try if you are in the area.

We recently had lunch at your restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience regarding the kamaʻāina discount. When we politely asked if it could be applied to our bill (as clearly stated on Google and from past experience), the server, R*g**e, immediately became argumentative. She said, “We don’t give discounts. We never give discounts. Who told you that? Do you have an employee ID?” — and even gave a sarcastic smile as if to mock the request. I explained that I previously worked for the company and knew that kamaʻāina discounts have always been offered to customers with a valid Hawai‘i State ID or driver’s license. R*g**e called over a manager, who seemed unsure of the policy herself and did not clarify or resolve the issue confidently. The manager just left. As regular customers who dine here with family and friends, this kind of treatment was very disappointing. If the kamaʻāina discount is no longer being honored, the restaurant should update this information on Google, social media, and in-store signage so customers are properly informed before dining. More importantly, staff should be reminded to treat all customers with respect — regardless of the situation. We hope Liliha Bakery management will take this seriously and ensure the team is better informed and trained to handle these situations professionally and courteously in the future. I thought this location would be my go to place for brunch and special occasion, it used to be our fave place BUT now….

Tried this Liliha bakery hoping we just had an off experience at the Waikiki one previously. But this one also was just meh. The place inside was large, had a lot of seating and was clean, parking lot was decent enough. We got some cupcakes for a birthday party and some poi mochi donuts. Everything was just okay nothing to write home about. I prefer the poi donuts from another bakery nearby officially after another try. The presentation of these are great but the taste is lacking. The cupcakes were cupcakes nothing special or would bring me back. Liliha just isn't my thing after trying them again. Service was friendly and prompt, I did like that you had a number to get helped.

Oxtail soup was great. Simple broth and not too fatty. Service was quick and efficient. Location is a bit tricky because of the construction in the area. Price is okay for the amount of food you get. Loco moco with fried rice and eggs okay. I didn't like the smell of ground beef but its my fault I didn't request it grilled a little longer to almost crispy. The restaurant and bakery is clean.

Such yummy dairy free and sugar free dessert! People were very friendly and it’s conveniently located near the beach. Nothing like this that I’ve seen on the mainland. Banana flavor is light so you can appreciate it even if you don’t love bananas.

The banana ice cream is really tasty and not overly sweet, so it's not too high in calories. I've tried many items from the menu, but my favorite remains the banana ice cream. Prices typically range from $10 to $20 per person. The place is located in the alley that leads to the beach, near the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

I was hesitant to try this just because I’ve tried “Morgenstern's BANANAS” in New York which is also the same concept, banana soft serve. I’m so happy I tried this shop because the texture was sooo smooth not icy like the place in NY The fruit added was so fresh too , excellent plus to have on the beach by the ocean. Smart of them to have a shop there! My bf has celiacs sensitive to dairy, we asked if it was gluten free and safe for celiacs, one of the girls mentioned the granola or oats are not certified GF and will drop on to the other items as well. So we ordered the tropical bliss without mac nuts since it was close to the granola. She kindly subbed it for any other topping :)

If you are looking for a simple healthy delicious treat this is it! The ice cream is made from bananas and you there is a varied selection of toppings. Vegan friendly!

Came back two days in a row because it was just that good!! First time I got the tropical bliss and the banana soft serve was AMAZING!! Today I tried the Waikiki dreamin and it was sooo filling and delicious!!! Highly recommend :) Fast service and Cara and Alyssa were soo sweet. Thank you so much!

Not only does this cute little shack have the best bowls to have right on the beach, but the staff is amazing as well! Mattie and Elyssa were so sweet and fun (give them a raise immediately) and definitely made me feel like a friend, not just a customer. Will 1000% be back next time i’m in Waikiki!

I tried both of their signature coffees—while they were a bit sweet for my taste, I appreciated the unique twist compared to a regular latte. I also had their açaí bowl, which was quite good. Overall, a decent coffee experience with some interesting flavors.

Delicious brunch place with long lines but worth the wait. I would visit every time I’m back to Honolulu. The staffs were very accommodating and friendly. My friends and I really liked the Island Style Plate that comes with delicious papaya. I ordered the lox plate and had fun making my own lox from the prepared ingredients. I really enjoyed their %100 Kona coffee as well.

This was a great place with various options of drinks and food for a regular price, considering the area is very touristy and expensive. I went around 9 a.m. during the week, and it wasn’t full at all, only around 5 customers. I ordered the small Haupia Moana Açai Bowl, and the size was still very big for one person. They are already prepared in a good-size bowl, so it is very easy to have it to-go like I did. The flavor and the freshness of all the ingredients were amazing, and the serving size of all fruits was very reasonable. They have a bigger size option, but this was enough to leave me feeling full for a couple of hours. Since it’s within the mall, it has plenty of parking available all the time, especially in the morning that the big stores are closed. I would recommend it as a stop if you are planning on going to the Ala Moana Beach/Magic Island area.

Island Vintage Coffee has DELICIOUS coffee. Order online and get an Island Latte.. you’ll thank me later 😜 If you wait in line, it’s quite a long line with a 10 minute wait or so after you order. I recommend ordering online as they are significantly quicker! The island latte… INCROYABLE! ONO! Sooooooooooo delicious 👏

Island Vintage Coffee Waikiki was our daily go-to café for delicious coffee and acai bowls. I enjoyed it so much that I bought an Island Vintage mug as a souvenir!!! Wonderful staff and good products added to an already wonderful Hawaiian holiday. Always lots of customers for a reason.

The worst of all the Island Vintage franchise stores. This location is on the first level of Ala Moana mall & right next to the stage, so it’s not great to sit in & enjoy. Always people around, so you could try ordering online. Their açaí bowls and smoothies are excellent and they serve above average quality coffee. Limited seating in the small store so go explore nearby seating options on the various levels of the outdoor mall. It’s just like any of the other franchise stores, so I recommend the other locations due to the mall & crowds.

🐚This is the review you’re looking for if you’re planning a trip to Honolulu. We’re a young Filipino couple, and this was our first time in Hawaii. The view from our room was unbelievable — we were lucky to get a high ocean-view room, and we could even see sea turtles swimming right from our balcony. It honestly made the trip feel magical. The front desk was so sweet and even surprised my husband with a small birthday gift, which really meant a lot. But as much as we loved the view, a few moments made us feel a little out of place. At the adult pool, we were looked at differently because we didn’t have our wristbands yet, and later at the activities desk, we were met with someone who clearly didn’t want to help us. It was awkward enough that we just walked away. Still, the view and location are hard to beat — right by the water, close to everything, and easy to get picked up for tours. I’d recommend it about 60%, mostly for the ocean view and location. I just wish every guest, especially those like us who don’t always stay at fancy hotels, were treated with the same warmth as the welcome we first received. 🌺

My husband & I stayed here from September 23 to September 28th for our honeymoon. We loved it! We booked an Infinity Oceanfront Room floors 20-27. I did not realize this until right now as I am writing this review, but I wonder if we were upgraded as our room was on the 30th floor. The view was UNBELIEVABLE & did not seem real! We had a perfect view of Diamond Head. You could not see sunset from the room though. When we checked into the room, the front desk gave us both leis and a box of crackers & jams, which I thought was nice. Here are my other thoughts on the resort: PROS: - the view - there is an infinity pool that is adults only & close to the pool bar - it's right across from the Royal Hawaiian Center, which is a large outdoor mall with a food court, restaurants & shops - checkout was easy - you get bracelets to use a the room key - getting an uber was never an issue - it was right by a parking garage where we were picked up for a couple excursions (snorkling with Hanauma Bay Snorkeling Adventures & pickup for Kualoa Ranch) CONS: - while there are several elevators (possibly 8 but i don't remember the exact amount), it seemed like only a few were actually working. & some of the ones that were working, made noises which made me feel like they weren't that safe - I'm not sure if it was the position of the TV, but we had trouble using the TV remote - the patio door to our laini was hard to open & close - there was no communication to us that there is a water dispenser & ice machine on each floor & not on the main level I would 10000% stay here again if i wanted to stay in Waikiki the next time I am in Hawaii. "Partial ocean view" room was not worth the extra cost over other room options. 90% of the view was a roof, backs of buildings and a parking deck. I would've rather had city view. We did try to switch rooms a few days into our trip, but they didn't have availability. Great overall resort location in relation to Waikiki beach and downtown. Elevators were quick. Parking deck was crowded as they allow public and hotel guest parking here. $55/day for hotel parking. Be aware of daily resort fees added to final bill. Ours worked out to about $100/day added on the original hotel cost. There are 2 coffee shops, but the one outside the front lobby was better. Great coffees, smoothies and smoothie bowls. Also have baked goods. RumFire restaurant was nothing special. Location was nice, ocean view. Food and drinks 3/5. As a couple traveling without our kids on this trip, the option of the adults only infinity pool right on the ocean side was so nice! Beautiful sunset views from anywhere on the ocean side of hotel. Service was good. All staff were very nice. Room was clean. We would stay here again, but wouldn't pick "partial ocean view" (forgot to take a photo).

Good Hotel. Ideal location and good amenities right there and around. The elevators are little "merry-go-round"! You'll see when you get there. But other than that good hotel. Great gym with pots of good equipment avaliable and latest cardio machine.

Great location. Oceanfront, 2 pools, jacuzzi, and close to restaurants and shops. Room is updated modern, clean. We had an ocean view from the 9th floor. Would be nice if they had a breakfast option but there are plenty of places within walking distance.

This hotel is clean and updated. The staff is kind cheerful and accommodating. The location is key. If you are not familiar with the location please take a moment to do so.High end stores and outlet malls are either there or a very short walk. The rooms are a little pricey but good value for money.

ATMOSPHERE: The single tower is so big & imposing upon entry. This is a very busy hotel and full of Japanese tourists. The lobby is modern despite the look of the building. There's a convenient and free "electronics area" complete with charging stations and counter space for laptops adjacent to the front desk. There are several shops, including a Cookie Corner (a popular little Hawaii bakery usually found in malls), and a pretty popular restaurant that turns into a nightclub called Rum Fire. The lobby level elevator bank can be a hectic, subway-like experience. CHECK IN/OUT: A friend we were with checked us in so I can't review that experience. We did the checkout on the TV which was a good thing because the lobby was jam packed on that particular Sunday morning. ROOM: Actually it was a suite, #1702 to be exact. It's the furthest room from the central elevator bank but so worth the walk! The single, no frills door opens up to a huge living & dining room with a big, over-sized daybed, 6 seat dining table, couches, flat TV, mini refrigerator, bar and private balcony that literally hangs over the sand of Waikiki Beach and overlooks the Halekulani Hotel, Pacific Ocean, and a sliver of a city view. Private because there are no balconies on either side as it's located at the corner of the building. We saw an awesome sunset, the sounds of the surf, and listened to the free Hawaiian music that came from the Halekulani next door in the afternoon. The single bedroom has 2 comfortable double beds, and a balcony with a drop dead gorgeous view of Diamond Head, the ocean, and hotel infinity pool. The dual air conditioners worked really well. Everything was very clean. The TV in the bedroom wasn't working but got fixed the next day. No big deal as there was another one in the living room. BATHROOM: There are 2 sinks, closet, and all the usual amenities. The toilet & shower/tub are separated from the rest of the bathroom which was convenient for the 3 of us. The shower water pressure was weak but tolerable and the drain was quick. Housekeeping didn't skimp on restocking the amenities the next day which was nice. POOL: While we didn't utilize it, it sure looked swanky from our balcony. It's a small, tiled infinity pool with a few lounge chairs in the water that overlooks the Pacific. BEACH: It's pretty non-existent but walk a short way east towards the Royal Hawaiian and you'll be on sandy Waikiki Beach. SERVICE: The only person I came into contact with was the male parking garage attendant who was friendly and professional. OVERALL: Very nice place to stay and conveniently located near the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the middle of Waikiki.
