Loved it! I came here on a whim because it's close to the station (hence the name I suppose) and I'm happy I did! The menu is varied and offers many tasty sounding dishes that cater to carnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike. There are also plenty of sweet and savoury pastries to choose from! The interior is charming and I didn't have to wait long to get a table. The staff was very friendly and helpful! And - most importantly for most - food and coffee were great! I'll definitely come back here when I'm in Leeds once more!

We went to the restaurant one day and were told there were no available tables, with a waiting time of 30–45 minutes. We decided to come back another day, earlier, and with a reservation. Two days later, we called to book but were told they don’t take reservations and to just come directly. When we arrived, they said there were no tables and that we would have to wait 15–20 minutes, even though several tables were empty both inside and outside. The staff’s attitude was not great, and unfortunately, the service was poor. The food was tasty, but you leave the restaurant smelling like cooking because the kitchen is in the middle of the place. On top of that, the noise level was so high you could barely talk and heard.

This place was an absolute delight! We stopped for lunch on a gorgeous, sunny day and the atmosphere was vibrant and busy—clearly a very popular spot. The menu had a lovely selection of food, but I was truly blown away by the amazing specialty coffee and the incredible pastries. ​I couldn't leave without taking some with me for later! I can't recommend this gem enough for anyone visiting Leeds. A well-deserved 5 stars! ☕

This place exceeded our expectations. Great full English and amazing Turkish eggs. Pastry was great too. It’s right next to the train station, which is very convenient if you are traveling.

It’s location right by the station might seem like a trap but it’s actually one of the best brunch spots I’ve been to in Leeds. Superb food, excellent service & friendly staff. Booking is recommended

God this place is just heavenly. Probably preaching to the converted if you are from Leeds. This place is quite rightly rammed so come early or book in advance. Lovely breakfasts, good coffee, great service, too both ambience. I love this place. Trust the locals! They know their rhubarb!

Such is the popularity of this cafe even pre 9:00 am on a Saturday morning I’m in the basement which is quiet, chilled with the A/C + music. Fast well organised table service, first class food, numerous charging points and its convenience for the 🚂 makes this a must visit eatery.

Went for brunch and had an enjoyable experience. Got the Turkish eggs with an extra merguez sausage on top. Big portion and seasoned well. It is a little on the pricier side, especially if adding extra toppings, but it's a nice treat every now and then.

Came here for brunch after nonstop hearing about it for years! Good service and really nice to see different options for breakfast! We had the hot honey habibti and the Turkish eggs; unfortunately we were very underwhelmed, both poached eggs were overdone and the hot honey dish was very chaotic and didn’t quite make sense, there was slaw, chucks of cauliflower stem, and for the price £12+ just very underwhelming. The presentation was nice though! The coffees were good, although they weren’t very hot, but would probably come back to try the more simpler dishes

The service is good as well as the food. We can definitely taste the quality. However I was expecting a more generous plate. I ended up paying 16£ for only two poached eggs and few slices of merguez. When I pay this much I expect to have a good lunch in other words :quality and decent portion

Absolutely loved this place. From the service to the dishes, all fantastic. The staff were so unbelievably friendly (&funny). Only negative was it was far too busy (guess that is only a good thing) ❤️

When the meal arrived I thought, “I’ll be surprised if the taste lives up to the presentation”… it wasn’t an issue. The pictures are from two different times and the food has been consistently excellent. Also, the coffee is first class. House of Koko are really taking “cafe” food to a whole new level. Price is a fair reflection of the excellent standard. My single, minor criticism is that I’d have loved a tiny bit more sourdough to help soak up the flavoursome oils and sauces of the dish. The baked goods are also as instagram-worthy as their flavour. The service is great. Thankfully, kids and dogs are welcome. Yet another gem of Chapel Allerton. Don’t miss it.

Took my mum for a nice lunch and a coffee here. Had the soup of the day which was spiced cauliflower and very tasty which came with a sumptuous granary cheese toasty. Service was also fantastic!

Moose Coffee offers a very UK-style atmosphere with a cozy vibe that makes it a nice spot to hang out. The food itself is fairly average — nothing too special, but it does the job. What really stands out is the staff: they’re super friendly and attentive, which makes the experience a lot better. Prices are reasonable, and the 20% student discount is definitely a plus.

Our new favourite breakfast food place! Great coffee and matcha, delicious selection of food and a warm and welcoming service. It was a lovely experience through and through, our server Elli was so kind and lovely, nothing was too much trouble! And a big shout out to chef Krystian for the delicious food! We will certainly be back, there is simply too many yummy things we want to try!

Exceptional food, polite friendly service and great value. Menu choices and variety are phenomenal. I had the Manilito ( a delicious Moose's take on Huevos Rancheros) and my husband had Fab Five Freddy burger and potato hash. Drinks, food quality and atmosphere was excellent. Such a lovely place.

Alex cooked me an amazing fab five Freddie- the potato hash was out of this world! Fantastic presentation and the flavour combo was unreal. I would definitely recommend. Archie was my server, he was attentive and knowledgeable and very polite without being pushy. He couldn’t accommodate me enough. It’s nice to see the younger generation grafting hard. All the staff at Leeds moose work very hard and this is clear to see. The place runs like clockwork and is very clean and tidy! I will 100% return! No complaints at all! 5 star! Cocktails were lovely, food was plentiful, and atmosphere was great! DEFINITELY book as people were being turned away on a Sunday for brunch. Will definitely come back. Jasmine was very sweet and gave us birthday pancakes which were scrumptious! Despite the busy nature of the restaurant, Krystian did amazingly well in the kitchen and the food was clearly made me with love. A+++++++ place.

Busy place but they got us in quickly. Had the thick Moose pancakes with maple syrup and streaky bacon – fluffy, tasty, bacon could’ve been thicker but still hit the spot. Flat white was decent, though lacking froth (maybe rushed barista). Service was solid. Good spot for a hearty breakfast.

Abbie welcomed us with a lovely and positive demeanour although we didn’t book she informed us it would be a 20 minute wait and when we came back there was a table ready for us. 100% recommend as she was a top server and Krystian made 10/10 food!!

We had an extremely disappointing meal and manager response at LS6 Cafe and will not be returning. We travelled 30 miles to Leeds to have a special Eid family breakfast at this cafe due to the previous excellent reviews. The setting and the service from the staff was very good. We were seated quickly and they turned the (loud) music down upon request. We left a 20% tip for them at the end. Everything else was poor. As you can see from the pictures, the food was of an extremely poor standard. The first time the French toast came it was burnt. The service staff took it away upon request and the second French toast had not been made with egg, it tasted like hard cake and was swimming in syrup. My husband's churros were overdone and barely edible. My daughter's pancakes were also burnt and left swimming in syrup, presumably to mask the taste. Despite being summer there were no fresh fruit served with it. Berries and bananas are very common on pancake orders so I've no idea what the issue was here. The latte was bitter and we left it. The worst part of the experience was the attitude of the manager, an older gentlemen with silvery grey hair. Although he was polite he did nothing to rectify our complaints. Despite showing him the French toast clearly had not been made with egg, he said it was done the night before. He had no answer to us pointing out the burnt food or terrible latte. Normally we would expect the manager to refund the offending items but he took no such steps and we decided not to press the matter and left the cafe with the majority of the food uneaten. We left our usual 20% tip to the wait staff (£50 from a £41.65) as it was not their fault that the food was poor and the manager's response was brusque. The final nail in the coffin was my 6 year old daughter complaining of a tummy ache before we left the cafe due to the poor quality of the food. We are forced to leave 1 star by Google, but we would leave zero stars and will not be coming back. We enclose our photos and receipt as proof. We find Google reviews extremely helpful and would like to reciprocate to warn other potential customers of the issues you may have. Leeds is full of excellent restaurants and cafes, there is no need to put up with subpar food or manager service.

Amazing place!! The food was really amazing and the staffs are very friendly and lively. The cafe environment is fabulous and cool. One of the must places to try in Leeds.

Delicious cooked breakfast and delicious pancakes! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The coffee was tasty and the portions Sizes were generous. We would really recommend - especially the pancakes with blueberries and bananas which left us feeling victorious!

Came here to study during the holidays period, atmosphere is very cheerful and cozy, the staff there are super friendly and good at what they do, had a coffee late and loved the figure they drew on top of it, what I loved the most though, is their dogs policy, you can come with your dog and enjoy your drink, even put a treat bowl infront of the place! TLDR; if you want a cozy place to enjoy a a drink or a bite to eat, definitely recommend it.

We had brunch here and really enjoyed it. We didn't book in advance so were seated at an out-of-the-way high table but the food more than made up for it. The well-seasoned mushrooms were a great addition to the eggs Florentine. Service was efficient even though the place was quite busy.

First visit here today and I can’t believe I’ve left it so long. LS6 reminds me of some of my favourite Melbourne brunch spots, so this was a bit of a treat in the middle of Headingley. Service was friendly, and fast; and the brunch menu is really varied and has lots of modifications for dietary requirements. What I loved most is how easy it was to customise a menu item from the big list off ‘add on items’ - so many places overlook the need to add bacon or halloumi to your bacon or halloumi! The atmosphere has a really nice balance of casual and sophisticated. It’s perfect for a chat with friends in a booth, or there are some quieter tables towards the back. Water is available for every table, not enough places do this In England. Food was very tasty and well presented, though I felt the portioning of some of the items to be on the small side. That said, it was excellent quality and really good value for money. The coffee didn’t rock my world.

We only went here as it was the only cafe in the area open before 10 on a Sunday to soak up the nights before alcohol and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus the music was a bonus, led zeppelin and black sabbath 👌🏻

The staff were lovely and the space was clean. The vibe was good and the coffee was of a good high quality. The coffee shop also has a mini store area where you can purchase beans, T-shirts and some cool looking tote bags. The coffee is priced as a normal high quality coffee is nowadays, but the portion sizes are on the smaller size - (I had taken a couple sips out of my glass in the photo provided!). I tried the last slice of the tiramisu tart, which was a little different! Similar to a treacle tart with some cream on top. This was nice! Good location on the docks, near the library boat and the Royal Armouries.

I tried two different coffees here, both being made as a long black. They were the Astro house blend and a Mexican sierra Mazateca variety. They were both really nice. The house blend was chocolaty with a slight citrus angle, while the Mexican bean had a more apple and nutty taste. Both different but both very nice. Highly recommended.

If you’re a coffee lover then it is definitely a spot to visit. The ability to chose the blend for your coffee makes it very personal to your taste. Absolutely loved the food, very filling in a good way. Would recommend for a lovely afternoon lunch!

Such a cool coffee shop. Their coffee selection is impressive and varied with some really tasty blends. Their cooked breakfast was hefty and really well put together. Nice decor, nice vibe, nice people

Lovely coffee shop. I drop by for breakfast as my first stop for the day trip in Leeds. I didnt know what to order, all menu pictures were all tempting but I went for Sweetcorn fritters which was delicious, good blend in those.

This was our second visit, and both times we were not disappointed. Staff were really good, attentive, friendly and helpful - even lending me a coin so I could flip it to help decide which dish to order. The food we had was delicious. I had the Rhubarb Pancakes, my husband had the Huevos rancheros. Previously, we have had the vegetarian sandwich, gruyère and caramelised onion toastie and bacon sandwich (the best my son has ever had - he's 22, so not he's had a few). Prices aren't cheap, but they aren't expensive either for food that is a little away from the norm, and every dish we've had has been perfect. We spent about £36 on our two meals, two lattes and a pot of tea. We will be back to work our way through the menu.

Great portion sizes and really tasty food—I definitely recommend the American breakfast. I also had a smoothie, which was delicious. The only downside was the wait for drinks and food. We didn’t mind too much since the food was worth it, but it would be helpful if customers were informed upfront that there might be a wait. That way, expectations are managed better.

Made a booking for Sunday morning. Definitely make a booking for then as they were very busy even at 9am. I got the blueberry and banana pancakes. The portion is massive which is great bang for your buck. Could be worth sharing it between two people if you aren’t the hungriest. The pancake was great but looks like it’s sitting more in blueberry soup rather than a compote. Was very good regardless. My friend got the eggs Benedict was quite good and would recommend. It was generally very busy during this time so was hard to get the servers attention but they were all very nice. They were great with my peanut allergy and they asked it I had any allergies when I ordered.

We went on a busy Saturday afternoon. Before ushering us in we were asked to give back the table in one hour. I wasn't sure what the ask was for since it wasn't a unlimited brunch place. It felt very rude and outright obnoxious. I asked her are you sure the food will come within an hour and she assured yes. And gave some reason for her question which was lost in the din. We were seated orders taken quickly. The drinks arrived quick enough. The guava juice was very tasty. The server had no idea what drinks he was serving and we took a guess and collected our respective ones. We ordered chicken tacos, katsu curry with rice, waffles and French toast with chicken. The brunch items were tasty must say but essentially the same ingredients. The tacos were pathetic. They weren't even taco shells and very heavy handed with feta cheese! Gosh! The katsu curry was nothing to write home about. The service was late like a train not getting clearance. We had some neighbouring patrons who came after us but got served before. Happens I guess. Someone sent back food claiming it was freezing. There was big crash in the bar with shattered glass. So lot of drama and delayed service. Seemed like a bad train journey overall. Unless you have a sweet tooth, avoid the place.

Wow the Pancakes! Great little find in Leeds. Really nice atmosphere and friendly, quick service. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes too 😊 We got the Nachos, Eggs Royale and Blueberry & Banana Pancakes.

I cant recommend this place enough. The Farmhouse Benedict was the tastiest breakfast Ive ever had. We went on the morning of 27th Sept and the young lady and young man who served us were amazing. Next time I come to Leeds il be back to try other items on the menu

Really delicious food and served quickly, but I was really disappointed that when my leftovers were boxed up I had to ask for my maple syrup and my bacon didn't make it to the box! Unfortunately it's left me feeling frustrated even though the food was very yummy.

We stopped in for brunch during a day out in Leeds city centre and were very impressed. We were seated immediately upon arrival. I ordered the Full Mediterranean breakfast, which was prepared well. Beyond the food, the dining experience was enhanced by the great atmosphere and comfortable setting, with tables well-spaced. The service was a highlight: we received a warm welcome, and the entire wait staff was attentive and polite throughout our meal

Please, please, please - don’t consider renting or buying here. What was once heralded as a bright new development in south Leeds is now a dump. The building has fallen into disrepair with dirty communal areas, an unsafe and filthy gym, horrible smells and lack of ventilation. Extractor / air cooling systems haven’t worked for years. Energy prices are sky high and remain a problem with no option to transfer to a different provider. Theft is common with the lack of security or effective concierge meaning parcels and post are lifted from the main reception area. Theft building is frequently accessed by non residents - pot smoking youths wandering around and the occasional prostitute shouting obscenities from the communal gym toilets. It’s a horrible horrible place.

The access to public transport and shopping centres is excellent, and it includes free WiFi. However, there’s a noticeable smell inside the flats that isn’t very pleasant.

Would not recommend living here! Cars repeatedly get broken into in the underground car park, the outside car park and the street - the building is a target. The building security is awful, never get anything delivered here as parcels are also regularly stolen with there being no locker unit, letter boxes also are broken into. Within the year of living here we saw graffiti on walls, homeless people sleeping in corridors, had 2 cars smashed into and our flat was infested with roaches from the day we got there. Our landlord was lovely, the concierge is lovely and is constantly trying to fix things but the building security was awful so we moved out after a year.

Previous review was taken down! I currently live here unfortunately. Building is an absolute lie. It is not safe, vehicles broken into in the “safe and secure” underground car park, homeless people breaking in and sleeping in the corridors. Building looks lovely but is not practical. Heating doesn’t work, lifts are broken every week. Car park gates and doors broken. Advertised as an eco building yet the bills ridiculously high. I would not recommend this building to anyone!!

The apartments are spacious and the amenities are quite nice. (Commenting on a 3 double bed apartment) However, the bills were extremely high and the heating barely worked as there was a problem with the building heating system. Also, no one provided info on how to maintain the wooden worktops but that is also down to the agency we went with I assume.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! This building sells a lie of “eco-utopia” Worst place I have ever lived. Sky high bills, freezing indoor temperatures in the winter, neglect of residents during cladding replacement, lifts never work, terrible location.

I currently live here. The front door keeps getting broken. My bike was stolen from the locked racks in the garage. The utilities are outrageously expensive despite being a “green” building, and the utility company and building management company don’t really care that it’s high. Furniture needed to be removed from lobby due to kids breaking the door and loitering in the hall. I wish it was being managed better. Jimmy and Michelle do an amazing job given what they have to work with but the building is falling apart and the utilities will bankrupt you. The Cafe will open on October. The gym is good. The building is great otherwise.

Loved this place! Everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. Even though the shop was pretty crowded both times I visited, the service was still incredibly friendly and efficient—didn’t miss a beat! I came back a second time because I couldn’t get enough of their tomato, mozzarella, and pesto sandwich... so good. Definitely one of those spots you just want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend checking it out!

Now these are some real sandwiches! £15 meal deal for a cold sandwich, drink and some crisps. I had mine to take away and they wrapped everything up nicely. The bread and ingredients are fresh, delicious and a great quality. They really pack these sandwiches full of some delicious cuts! Staff are lovely and there’s lots of options and sometimes some specials too! Can’t wait to come back.

Bloody scrumptious and yummy. Very good, very nice. Went to things in bread and it’s the Ronseal of sandwich shops. Does exactly what it says in the name. Doesn’t have an overwhelming menu, solid choices for veggies and carnivores. Hefty portion, solid price point, would eat again. Breakfast sarnie and chicken and bacon mayo. Seasoned delightfully. Clean interior design, few seats to snack away on, but in and out for me and I will return… ellllllooo

Had the special which is the roast beef. Great tasting sandwich. Will certainly fill you up! Taste wise for me too much stuffing hence the 4* from me. Would go back and recommend

Very nice sandwiches, I had seen this place on instagram and fancied trying it out when in Leeds. Both sandwich’s are the chicken and bacon one without salad and with cheese and the other one with salad. Very nice and will be back to try others, shame the sold out of the salt and pepper special on the day when we went 🥲. It was also very busy so be prepared to Que but it was for sure worth it!

Went for the first time today. Really busy. Only issue was a bit of a wait but they did apologise. But the sandwich was lovely, bread was so soft. All fresh and tasty. I will certainly go again and I would recommend. Keep up the good work guys.

It was a good birthday steak experience. The staff are welcoming and make you feel special for your special occasion, just tell them about it when you make your booking. The booking website is easy and straightforward. Steak and fries was so good(not very generous portion, for all the foodies out there😉). Good atmosphere and beautifully located. It's worth a visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a fantastic experience at Cut & Craft Leeds! The food was absolutely delicious – beautifully presented and full of flavour. The setting is stunning, with such a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. Even the restrooms are worth a mention – so elegant and spotless, really adding to the overall experience. The only slight issue was that around 4pm the music seemed to get stuck on repeat, which became a little noticeable. Aside from that, everything was perfect. The staff were attentive, the service was great, and I’d highly recommend it for a special meal or night out. Birthday Celebration

The venue is stunning - and I have rarely eaten anywhere with a more interesting and luxurious internal decor. The food was excellent. The steak is easily one of the best I have had in a very long time. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot and tasted fresh. The menu had lots of interesting options - especially for desserts which are so often overlooked. I had a dessert with actual gold leaf on the chocolate! The one downside was the service. While quick and attentive, the staff constantly interrupted our conversation - coming up to the table and talking over us. I counted at least 7 times when we had to stop mid sentence to answer one of the staff asking if our food was okay. It really took away from the otherwise excellent experience.

Nice décor, but that’s where the good part ends. We sat on the sofa behind the bar — totally uncomfortable, like sitting too high and floating. Try to get a booth or blue chair instead. Starters were okay, nothing special. The mains were the real issue. Rump steak (medium rare) was tough and chewy. When we told the waiter, the response was, “Rump is always chewy.” Well, then maybe get better quality rump meat or a new supplier. The seabass with pearl barley was far too salty. When we mentioned it, we were told, “The chef adds salt for flavour.” Great, but less salt would be nice. When customers give feedback, listen — don’t just defend. Overconfidence in “everything is perfect” isn’t good service. Plus 12.5% service charged.

Absolutely gorgeous food cooked to perfection. The Ambience was really welcoming & the whole place looks stunning. The staff were fantastic really friendly & couldn’t do enough to help. It was my Husband’s Birthday, we both thoroughly enjoyed it & will definitely be returning 😃👍 10/10

This was for my birthday, we went here because we wanted oysters and my husband found the place. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing. The staff were very attentive and always around. The food was very good and so well cooked. We enjoyed every dish. The presentation of the found was lovely as well. This is slightly on the pricey side but it was worth it.

What a fabulous place! I advised them it was our wedding anniversary and we even got a card… how cute ;) served by Tom who was fab! Very relaxed but gave great advise when choosing dishes x a live singer was also a lovely surprise! … but let’s talk about the food! I was adamant I was having a steak! But I’m so glad we picked the Sunday lunch sharer… pork belly was stunning! Beef sirloin too. We added the cauliflower croquettes which I’m so glad… they were stunning!!! Would very highly recommend 👌can’t wait to have a reason to go back!

14 Of attended The White Swan on Tuesday 23rd Sept for a Mens trip, after hearing how delicious the food was. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and very helpful with empty plates all round. We did pre order the food as recommended and everything went as planned. few commented that the beef and ale pie was crammed full of lovely meat (no grissle in sight)and all the desserts were huge. They have a large disabled toilet and a ramp for accessible entry at the front. The location is stunning with a large carpark.. Well done to all staff we had a fabulous time and will definately be back.

11 + dog had Sunday lunch on Fathers day, 7 adults and 4 children/teenagers. Because we had a dog we were seated in the Snug which was quite large and had plenty of room. I think the majority of us had a roast and a couple of the children had other items from the menu. All the food was good quality and plentiful and quite reasonable. The service was good even coping with a spillage which was a complete accident. I think we all enjoyed it and would consider going again.

We visited the Swan for drinks and a catch up. Lovely atmosphere and very lively. Excellent service from Poppy. On our second order she was able to remember our drinks order and offered to refill our water without prompting. She had a friendly and welcoming manner. Poppy made us feel so welcome and we will definitely be back.

We had the most delicious lunch today! I had a huge fish pie with broccoli cooked to perfection, hubby had steak pie; the best he's ever had. Loads of tender delicious steak and crispy tasty pastry. The puddings were great value, treacle pudding and fruit crumble and just gorgeous.Sevice is excellent here, friendly and welcoming, good ambience and attractive surroundings.

Staying for one night before flight tomorrow. Just has something to eat and a couple of drinks in the bar. Food was lovely proper pub grub. All the staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. Good Yorkshire hospitality. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

A nice pub with plenty going on around it. Fantastic decked area to the rear that overlooks the local cricket club. Access form the road is ok just getting back out that can take a minute. Don't let that distract you from coming here though.

The staff are super friendly and attentive , food was delicious and my husband is very picky with his steak but he loved it so that really says something ahaha Thank you for a short but very pleasant stay ! Room was clean and really comfy . Would come back again :)

Chris, the manager at the restaurant, is an amazing person. He looked after my order with great care and made sure I was comfortable throughout. He truly went the extra mile to make the experience exceptional. Meanwhile, Abby at the bar was absolutely lovely gal! She made an outstanding cocktail that I absolutely loved! 10 stars for their fantastic service!

An impressively bad experience, not to be repeated. Came here with colleagues as we were staying in the hotel. Staff were very slow to take our order, and only brought a drinks menu when it was requested. We were then told cocktails (on 2-4-1) had to be ordered at the bar as it would be too much hassle for the servers to process multiple card payments at the table. Service at the bar was slow. Eventually the staff relented and agreed to bring the cocktails to the table, which resulted in one of the cocktails being dropped on the floor. Having had a half hour wait to order, we had another hour before we got our food. One of our party pointed out the delay and we received two bottles of wine by way of an apology. When my sea bass arrived (which was good), the waiter asked "Did you not order any sides?" and I had to tell him I'd ordered rice. Several colleagues were disappointed with their noodles, but the worst was the chicken in my vegetarian colleague's noodles. When she raised this with the staff, they insisted she was mistaken and it was a very fibrous mushroom. We all agreed it was chicken. We had to ask for the bill as it wasn't offered. The whole experience fell short of our expectations in every way.

Sushi was amazing! Very fresh & tasty with a slight kick of spice & chilli. Veggie Yellow Thai curry was very flavoursome. Rice was cooked to perfection & the tempura on the side was a welcome addition. Staff was polite, helpful & attentive.

Great cocktails and lovely food. The black cod is delicious and fish tacos are also great. 4 stars just because the variety of sushi is quite limited when compared to Chino Latino London.

NOT ASIAN FOOD! We came for the sushi and calamari as stated on the menu and was told they haven't served that for about a year now. It's valentines day so there's no way we'd be able to find bookings for anywhere else :/ The food was good regardless but not what we came for or wanted and the waitress was absolutely lovely but they had about 4 options for a main meal maximum and half of the small menu was sandwiches or salad. Don't go here for the menu. It doesnt exist!!

5* for the steak. Other dishes were okay. Ambiance is superb.

The staff were kind, fun and really helpful. Had the salad and friend had the massive breakfast which was huge - see photos - but loved it. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Very impressed. Great little riverside café. Very busy and popular with the construction workers. Has some outdoor seating riverside in the alley, just down from all the colourful murals. Seating on two floors and loo is downstairs as well. Very efficient team of staff, prompt, professional service, knowledgeable about menu and friendly. Open 7 days a week. Vegetarian options available. I had an excellent Greek salad from the reasonably priced menu. Good portion. I also had a stonking red velvet cake for £2.95. Deffo recommend this place and will revisit. Thank you for looking after me.

Such an extensive menu, it’s amazing how everything is prepared so quickly in the limited space behind the counter. Handy if you want somewhere different to go for a snack whilst changing 🚂 - a short walk from Granary Wharf.

Cozy place for fresh coffee and food! Spacious but with lots of seats both inside and out. Different brunch menus then your typical 'go to' might serve but very tasty and would definitely eat again. I recently visited Mill Kitchen in Farsley and was absolutely blown away! I had two slices of sourdough topped with homemade beans, cheddar cheese and spring onion the flavours were amazing, and the sourdough was incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff were also very welcoming. I’d love to go back and try some of their breakfast and brunch dishes as they looked really tasty.

Lovely place for food and drinks. The bakery section looked fabulous too. We had a breakfast which was amazing. Good to see homemade baked beans and quality produce. Staff very friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere too. Lovely decor. Very clean and everything was well presented. Wide range of food and drinks available. Outside seating too.

There's a good brunch range and bakery and the cafe is lovely and light inside. However for me, the prices are quite expensive for the size of portion. I got one slice of sourdough with some brie and grapes on it and it cost me £9.50. Also, when it's busy, it's almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting as it's so noisy inside. Like so many places these days, there are zero sound absorption materials or soft furnishings, so not a good place if you have someone in your group hard of hearing.

Fantastic place for lunch. The cafe is heaving so they are doing something right. We had a Moroccan dish and mushrooms on sourdough. 2 flat whites ( top marks 😀) Service was speedy but super friendly. We took away an enormous slab of carrot cake as well. Delicious. Keep doing what you're doing. Shame that I live in Northumberland or I'd be here every week!!

My partner and I went in for Sunday Brunch. Wonderful food, lovely smiling service, and a cute British small village feel. With a wide variety on the menu and drinks list, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. Took a chance & tried the “Kim Chi pancakes” and they were FANTASTIC! Please tell the chef that was a wonderful and unique creation and tasted Excellent ! A great place to visit with friends, pop in for a quick bite to eat, stay and work from your laptop, bring your dog. Very friendly atmosphere.

the “truffle bacon mushroom HASH” was just a plate of halved new potatoes covered in truffle smelling grease, with 3 confetti sized bits of bacon for £11 - outrageous. Kids liked the pancakes, but 2 small pancakes for £5.50 I’d argue is over priced. good coffee

One of the best iced mochas I’ve ever had!! There was some confusion between the oat/dairy milk but they remade the drink, wouldn’t hurt to just double check with them if you have any dietary restrictions! Great brunch place though, very tasty vegan Yorkshire breakfasts and burritos!! Oh, they also a good range of sauces (sriracha!) which is a big plus.

Came for brunch today, our waitress was absolutely lovely, super smiley and friendly. Came to see us quickly and drinks were brought hot and fresh, there was a little wait for the food but it was totally totally worth it, the steak salad was so tasty and fresh, and the breakfast burrito was 10/10! Huge portions and all cooked fresh and with care. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely returning after such an amazing first visit!

quite an average experience here. service was a quite slow despite only having 2-3 other tables on a slow weekday morning. atmosphere was tight but not too bothersome for me since it was not busy. bathroom needs some attention though, there was no soap and the taps were faulty. moving onto the food, it was not bad but not memorable. i went for the ‘complete if’ which came stacked with bacon, and chorizo, so you’ll love it if you love meat. perhaps a minor gripe but both the poached eggs were overcooked and not runny and the sourdough was hard and burnt in places; just expected more from a place dedicated to brunch!

I came here with my sisters and our kids around 11 a.m., and the restaurant was mostly empty with just a few people dining. I asked for a table, but the waiter didn't greet me properly and told me there wasn't much space available. I was really disappointed because we had walked about 20 minutes to get there based on someone’s recommendation. I won’t be returning. Service begins with the staff.

A bottomless brunch where the food is as appealing as the unlimited mimosas! Impeccable food, lovely staff and a great spot on Call Lane to watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. We shared the Biscoff Pancakes and the Chorizo & Bean Burrito so we could enjoy IF’s sweet and savoury offerings.

I came here to try their coffee because it’s a pretty popular spot, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. I specifically asked for my flat white to be extra hot, but it was barely warm. My friend didn’t enjoy the hot chocolate either. On top of that, my cup wasn’t clean ,,there were stains on the bottom,, and the table we sat at still had crumbs from previous customers. The only positive thing was the friendly staff, they were kind. Overall, if they paid more attention to cleanliness and customer requests, it could be a much better place. But sadly, it was messy enough that I wouldn’t want to come back.

Here for a flat white and a panini, plenty of room to dine in including the basement area which also has the w.c. Staff are friendly and well organised, the La Marzocco coffee machine is a sight to behold.

Pair of self-confessed Islingtonites just moved home after 13 years in London in search of really good coffee, and we found it! Really great proper coffee, really tasty bacon and egg mayo seeded bagel, proper Yorkshire friendly atmosphere. 5/5. Will be back - weekly, probably! Coffee Revolution review: A really cosy, intimate space that’s perfect for writing or just relaxing. We ordered two hot chocolates which came with complimentary whipped cream, marshmallows and chocolate dusting and two sandwiches. Sandwiches were filling so you got your moneys worth. You’re asked what kind of bread you’d like, and can get recommendations from staff too. It’s table service so you can relax in the space whilst your food is being made. Because of the reasons mentioned, the space is very popular with yummy mummy’s, students and people that want somewhere to work so be fast if you want to get a table. The setting had a nice, rustic and relaxed feel. Down stairs was little draughty, wish there was a little heater. We had a lot of time before our train and this was a cute place to stop off, would visit again. We were warmly surprised! - H💝

A very friendly place with delicious coffee and a great atmosphere. There are outdoor picnic tables to sit at if you prefer as well as indoor seating plus there's a floor downstairs you can sit at too. They also offer a stamp card so you can get a free coffee once you've gotten 10 before. It's become one of my favourite places.

Just managed a sneaky bagel and coffee break. As ever we are really impressed with the quality of the coffee and the relaxed service. The bagels are mightily fine too! We’ll definitely be back!

The cafe is lovely and the staff seem very friendly. The breakfast was good although my poached eggs weren't even warm, however my friend was very happy with her choice of food. I chose not to say anything about the food being cold as it was incredibly busy and the wait time was a lot longer than expected. We also bought some goodies from the little deli too. All in all, I would go back and try again.

First visit on a Monday afternoon having driven passed for ages and wanting to visit. Cute cafe and deli offerings. Lunch menu is varied, but also manageable and filling portions for a light lunch. I bought 2 slices of cake to take awake, which went down well. Would like to visit for breakfast as well since other reviewers mentioned the poached eggs.

As a regular at this fabulous local establishment, I sincerely can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t yet tried it, then it’s a must. From excellent coffee, with fabulous poached eggs, avacado and bacon on toast with some sriracha sauce on toast, to some amazing lunch time options both healthy and for those who wish to be more indulgent! They also have a wonderful deli and and a variety of unique wines to take away. 5 star review from me!! Here’s one of the team making me a special coffee today.

I was keen to get a hamper to my son and his wife to celebrate the birth their first child. At very short notice, Anna put together an amazing hamper and delivered it promptly. A lot of thought and effort was put into the selection of items for the hamper. The hamper was amazing and was gratefully received by the new parents. All in all it was a fabulous customer service experience. I would highly recommend.

I came in wanting to buy a few things as a gift for somebody and despite being busy, staff members were extremely kind in assisting me and taking the time to help me decide what items to buy (so much to choose from and all very high quality). Called in for a light lunch. We've never used this delivery/cafe and it caught our eye when we drove past. All the staff are lovely and friendly. It was busy when we called in and was lucky to get a spare table. Our sandwiches were perfect with tasty ham and good quality cheese. The coffees were lovely and hot too (the coffee blend just suited our palettes - strong but not bitter.) We will certainly call in again if we pass. Only downfall was the parking but it's worth the walk.

Called in for breakfast on a Sunday after attending an event in Leeds last night. Cafe yum yum is in a smart courtyard, lovely, friendly service on arrival, great breakfast and stunning coffee. We will be back when next in the city. Free street parking on Sundays nearby too which was a bonus.

Wow! What a discovery! This place is absolutely amazing and the breakfasts are simply to die for. We’re so thrilled to have found it. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. As for the breakfast non greasy, perfectly cooked and served with delicious buttery toast. And the price? Unbelievably good value. Highly recommended! We love stumbling upon gems like this. Beautiful little gem! Wolfox has a 20/20 atmosphere with a subtle Arabian-inspired theme that feels both warm and elegant. I ordered the Mexican omelette with sourdough bread, and it was mouth watering, still hot and flavourful down to the last bite! I finished with an almond croissant, which was divinely delicious — the perfect balance of crisp and sweet. This place has officially become my new Sunday spot! 🌿☕️✨

Great place for a brunch, menu had a variety and service was spot on. Staff were happy to help any way they could. Food was served quick. Got a turmeric latte as I have not seen this anywhere else and was pleasantly surprised and would definitely have it again.

Visited for the first time after seeing on Instagram, and I think this is a visually appealing place. Lovely decor and cosy atmosphere. Staff were friendly and polite, if a little hands-off, but I put this down to being busier than they might be used to. Sadly, the coffee was average and I ended up not finishing mine - the aeropress was not good, flat white was better but tasted a little burnt. We opted for breakfast and the fry-up was good, but the bacon was fatty and it got cold pretty quickly. The berry compote pancakes were average as the syrup overpowered everything else.

We visited several times during our stay in Leeds. Really great coffee (with alternative milks) Friendly staff who remembered our orders the following day! The menu has some delicious breakfast/brunch choices and we would’ve happily tried others too if we’d been in the area longer.

Afternoon tea, normal finger sandwiches, sausage roll, lovely scones, v sweet cakes. Of all the afternoon teas we've been to, this has the least food for 2. V posh tea with timer to brew for perfect cuppa. Love the chilled rustic decor, comfy sofas. Can't fault service. Went at quiet time of the week. Would go again.

Stopped in here on a sunny Saturday and the atmosphere was nice and chill with the full length window open. Staff are super friendly and really helpful. We ordered the samosas but as we got there close to closing, we were told the last ones left were not perfect and offered us them smashed and mixed with the sauces and veg as a chaat, it was amazing! The eggs and salmon tasted super fresh and the daal was delicious. Loved the fact that on the menu needs I told you about all the ingredients came from. And of course we could not leave out the amazing chocolate flapjack 🤤🤤 and great drinks. Will certainly be returning and recommending.

If ever there is a friendly neighbourhood cafe where everyone knows your name and treats you like a rockstar, Cha Lounge is it. The cafe has eclectic and warm décor that makes you feel like you've transported into another world. The menu has such a nice variety, and they cater to a variety of dietary needs. You just need to tell them and they will personalise any dish for you. They also have an impressive amount of loose leaf chas to try, so there's every reason to keep going back for more. During lockdown, Cha Lounge came through in supporting the local community by organising fresh veg boxes and groceries for those who wanted to buy local or were sceptical of going to supermarkets. Later, they expanded to afternoon and cream tea sets that were perfect for date night or picnics. Once I bought a veg box from them, I couldn't go back to a box chain supermarket anymore. Dining-wise, I cannot recommend their brunch highly enough. You can taste that their ingredients are high quality and fresh. My niblings especially love Gemma's pancakes. We have also gone to a few of their curry nights which we thought was very delicious. If you're ever in Dock Street, do pop in and say hi, even if all you're getting is a takeaway cha.

I love a good quality breakfast and I’m so happy to have found this place. It’s now my goto place for breakfast when I’m in Leeds. Every item was cooked to perfection, those tomatoes were the most flavoursome tomatoes I’ve ever tasted. The scrambled egg was seasoned just right. The owner Mandeep so super friendly and welcoming. It’s clearly run by a team who are passionate about making good food and providing a nice place to eat it in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone stopping in Leeds. I will return again 100% Thanks again for a great breakfast.

The Cha Lounge is a new establishment based on healthy eating and ethical food sourcing. It is small, rustic and relaxing. There are hot and cold beverages, freshly prepared with no or minimal processing of ingredients. There are both hot and cold foods and plenty of vegetarian options. Many of the options are snack or street type foods especially Indian. The premises are very clean as are the washroom facilities. A great place to just drop in, enjoy a light meal and or a drink.

Nice place. Very friendly stuff. Good choice of food with many choices for vegan people. Soup of the day different everyday. The breakfast was not extraordinarily good, but it did its job. I like the way they manage the place, although their hours are difficult to follow. Good Wi-Fi connection and relaxed mood. I'll probably come back from time to time.

If you are going to Leeds to watch a gig at the arena then this is an ideal stopping point. The building has a lot of history so if you want ultra modern throughout then this is not the place. If you want a nice place to rest with excellent service, comfy bed and a lovely en suite bathroom then this is the place for you. Approx 10 minute walk from first direct arena. The breakfast served was delicious and good quality produce used. Surrounding area not the most nice of looking places. Windows are thin and road outside busy so traffic noise will be heard but its not the worst I've experienced. The hosts are lovely and the pub has a lot of character. Would happily return and stay again

Very nice comfortable stay, lovely bed and bathroom. Delicious cooked vegan breakfast. Very impressed to be asked in advance if I wanted full English, Vegetarian or Vegan without having to ask myself. Lovely place, easy trip from Leeds Bradford airport. Very helpful proprietor and staff.

Fantastic value for money. A really personal touch from all the staff, who couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The bedroom and bathroom were both really lovely and spacious, bed very comfortable and tons of hot water in the sumptuous bath and fab power shower. Downstairs the pub (a renovated period building) has a variety of little snug rooms and open fires, so felt very homely. Hard to believe that this gem is a 20 minute walk from Leeds City Centre!! We will certainly be back!!

Stayed here when in Leeds to see a concert and do some Christmas shopping. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast, owner and staff couldn't do enough for us. Also thank you for the very kind gesture on my return from Concert. Within easy walking distance of both Arena and main shopping area. Would definately stay here again and would recommend to others. Small tip, if you are light sleeper take ear plugs as I always do, Tavern is on a busy road, but traffic did not bother us at all.

Recently stayed at The Eagle Tavern for 2 nights and can honestly say it is a wonderful place to stay. A short walk from Leeds city centre and literally on the door step of the Arena. The welcome was very friendly and the service was always with a smile. The room was spotlessly clean, really comfy bed and a proper power shower. What i loved was there was not a TV in the room and the bar was a phone & laptop free zone which meant the room was full of conversation .. brilliant. A simple well served and well cooked breakfast. Really can not recommend this gem of a place enough, great value for money will definitely be returning

Highly recommended... don't let the fact its Sam Smiths put you off... this is a great pub and the rooms are very clean and well decorated. No TV which is a bonus and the use of mobiles in the bar is banned. Which means the art of conversation is promoted whilst enjoying the well kept beers. Lovely breakfast cooked by Jo... Nice and fresh... and thanks Claire for looking after us in the bar. We will be staying again...

Loved it here. A real gem. Beautiful, well kept room, super comfy beds, friendly staff and a glorious full English breakfast with black pudding and plenty of coffee! The room felt really quite posh compared to the premier inns if the world and the bath and shower were top quality. Definitely going here again.

The tearoom is the perfect venue for a relaxed meal out. We had afternoon tea, which was extremely tasty. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. There's plenty of seating with decent music playing. I'd happily visit here again and heartily recommend it.

I came for afternoon tea with my mum for Mother’s Day. The food, place and staff were fabulous and the service was brilliant.

This place is just perfect. We went for a lovely but chilly walk and finished up here after wanting to visit for ages and we weren't disappointed. Even from the outside it's special, and when you walk in its just a lovely fuzzy welcoming feeling of awesomeness. No.54 has so much quirky character, but natural, not forced. We sat at a beautiful, old arty table by the window and ordered full breakfasts. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and using great quality produce. I want to go back already, and can Imagine it being the perfect venue for a little celebration. Service was warm and friendly, and there's plenty of food choices to suit everyone. Resisted the cakes this time but I don't think that would happen next time!!!

Their pastries and sandwiches are genuinely fresh and full of flavour, especially the focaccia and cannoli. The staff are warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do — it gives the place a real Italian charm and makes you want to come back. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso on the go or sitting in for a slow morning, the atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming. If you love great coffee and good vibes, La Bottega should be top of your list in Leeds.

Pastel de natas here are to die for. Tiramisu is good as well but omg the custard tarts!!!!! 😍 Always go back for them. Coffee is great as well but I'm not too big of a drinker so...the Iced Spanish I had was great though. Like a latte but sweeter and richer.

Today I visited this café and there was a small issue with the order and billing — I was given the wrong item. However, when I returned to speak with the staff, they handled it very professionally. One of the team members, who was slightly taller, had an amazing attitude. She was extremely polite, respectful, and solved the problem quickly without showing any sign of frustration. On the contrary, she was impressive in the way she dealt with the situation. Truly excellent service!

I had a really great experience at the café recently! The pastries were delicious—fresh and full of flavor—and the flat white was smooth and well-balanced. Service and staff were amazing. I’m definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu options next time.

Amazing place, absolutely love and come back to. The focaccia sandwiches are great, the Mortadella could do with some pesto/more flavour but the Focaccia caprese is great. It’s always busy with a great atmosphere in a lovely little square with seating outside. Would recommend !!

Really appreciate the later opening times. Tried the tiramisu which was nice but needed more coffee flavour / became a little wet and soggy after a few bites

A nice cafe in Leeds 6. Our first visit to this cafe for our breakfast treat of the week. We ordered a large breakfast which included 2 bacon/sausages/fried eggs/beans/tomatoes/toast and tea. We enjoyed the breakfast and will be most defiantly return in the future.

Just been in here for a full English breakfast and it was not disappointing.. in fact, I'm struggling to move after almost eating everything on my plate! The couple who run this place are very polite and welcoming, the places itself is very clean & tidy.. I'll defiantly be back (probably most days) as it's only 2 minutes from my office.. keep up the excellent service (looking forward to trying your chilli!)

I liked the atmosphere and the fact that it was not too busy. The staff was great as well, nothing was too much of a trouble. Very reasonably priced. Generally, a good place for coffee and a quick munch! 😉

Fabulous home cooked food. I only had time for a take away bacon sandwich on Sunday morning but what a sandwich, there's plenty of seating and the couple that run the cafe are friendly and helpful, wish Id had time to stay because the mousakka which was priced at only £3.50 and which was being prepared in the kitchen smelt incredible I will be back on my next trip to Chapel Allerton

The owner is great with children, especially with a temporarily out of sorts 3 yearold. The bacon and egg butty was the best I've had in Leeds. Great coffee as well.

We had a lunchtime sitting on Saturday 20th December. Despite being busy, the service from Ross C was very good and friendly. Food was hot and well cooked. Good festive atmosphere.

It was bloody lovely, Katie was absolutely incredible, asked about our food, gave us time for our drinks, waited patiently for all 5 of us to think and order, and was incredibly friendly all day. We loved her and would love to be served by her next time. The food was delicious however there wasn’t a variety of options for sides as usual, not to mention one of the sides was quite cold under the heaters. The atmosphere was great although i have to say it lacked in space. Other than that, we loved it. Thank you very much once again to Katie and the manager on duty Richard.

Visited for bank holiday, looked like they had a very busy morning with breakfast. Didn't book but was seated in a nice location viewing the food area. Food was super fresh and the lamb was absolutely spot on. Attentive staff and friendly

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Ross, who made us feel at home. Our server, Paul, provided excellent service throughout the meal—he frequently checked in to make sure everything was to our liking and that we were enjoying our food. Truly appreciated!

The food at this particular Toby Carvery was great. The company i had during our meal also agreed. The service from Katie was great, she only came to the table once to ask us how the food was, and that was enough. Very friendly spoken. The Carver who on shift, Ross W accommodated to change the meat as it was dry and i appreciate that. As this made the meal much more tastfull. As for the atmosphere, the place is very calm. The seating arrangements could of been more thought out. As we had our meal around 3pm, the place had plenty of room for new comers to sit and enjoy themselves, but somehow ended up being cramped up. I would advise not to take the first seating option they provide, instead tell them what you prefer and hopefully they can provide.

As a former non-executive director, CEO and independent chair for AUAG I believe I’m well qualified to say the service and warmth that I receive at the Queens is exemplary. Manager always greets you warmly, it’s so professional and so diligent I cannot say any more than five star plus Customer Services. It is very important when regulars come to a pub, they have felt to be treated with respect and kindness from Neil. I find the quality of food excellent warm pot and the staff are always keen to please you with a can-do approach. I really appreciate quality staff and team leadership shown by Neil in all he does, excellent customer conduct and above all being welcome to a local pub that I’ve spent over 25 years. I highly recommend this place on the base excellent service and the goodwill I always get from the Queen. Having, undertaken previously the NHS assurance and customer surveys, changes in services , custom experience, for the council extending to the social caare and transport engagement , I am firmly aware of how staff should be - at the NHS as a board member leader and voluntary sector CEO it gives me a great pleasure in knowing quality stuff to exist in the current climate we live in seeing and observing this. Great spot for breakfast. One of the best bagels I've had for a long time. Bread was really fresh, fillings were excellent as well, and really good quality coffee. Highly recommended.

The food here was lovely- both pastries were incredible (the almond croissant and the cinnamon bun). Staff were also friendly. However, the matcha was quite bitty and I had pieces of unmixed power on the side of the glass. Otherwise, the experience was very pleasant and would come back :)

I've been dying to come here after multiple rave reviews from friends and I'm so glad I did! The coffee was great, the food was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was so lovely I could have stayed and worked from here all day. Its so much bigger inside than I expected, the staff were friendly, quick, and gave the place a lively happy feeling about it. The vegan pastrami sandwich was amazing and I can't wait to try the other options as I was chuffed to see so many. Overall just a really nice cosy and comfy place to hang out or work

Very nice little coffee shop. We had the almond crossiant and cinnamon bun which were both really good. I had a matcha which looked great but tasted a bit bitty as they hadn't fully mixed the matcha powder in. Not fair to judge them on one drink though, I'm sure their coffee is good. Would recommend visiting.

Came here for an almond croissant, but unfortunately they'd run out by the time we got there (~11am Saturday). Instead we got a regular croissant and a pan au chocolate. Both were lovely. We took them to-go. Next time we will arrive earlier and try for the almond croissant again (I'm on a quest to find my favourite almond croissant), and we need to try the coffee, too!

While working in Leeds passed by Tambourine Coffee in Shipley. I got a caramel cappucino and a normal cappucino both were excellent. Superb taste and the shop is a lovely place sells fresh in house cakes also. The place was extremely busy and staff were lovely an friendly which speaks volumes about how good it is and would highly reccomend.

One of the nicest coffee shops in Shipley. The coffee is spot on,and they have a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Leah is super friendly and always makes you feel at home. A great spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Tambourine is a brilliant little local coffee shop; a small walk away from the tourist hotspots. It's brilliant because the coffee is excellent. It helps that they serve North Star coffee; but the coffee is well made, swift and hot. The service and whole atmosphere is very friendly. It's a small, clean and welcoming place. The staff made me feel right at home straight away. The only aspect that might put people off is the overlapping conversation. Lots of friendly people in a small place meant I could hear every word of at least four conversations. Don't let that put you off. This is not the place if you're planning a private chat but it's perfect if you want good coffee and to feel like a Saltaire local.

Great coffee and breakfast here, do pop in, it’s fantastic. We left as they were putting out the lunch dishes, i will certainly be back to try those.

The iced matcha with oat milk was so good! Many places don’t froth the milk so this was a lovely touch. I’m glad to have found this little spot, will be returning. :)

In short; probably the best in the area. If you can find a spot here I wouldn't look elsewhere . This is a bar & cafe, so it's worth specifying that I had a Mid+morning coffee, remote worked and a full English. If you're driving, parking is a bit tricky. But find a street without restrictions and it'll be a 2 minute walk. It's a small & clean venue with a contemporary & cozy feel. Lots of seats, quite close which create a busy and sociable vibe. Good choices on the menu and easy to choose from. It's a bit more classic than hipster, so expect simple but good quality options. Coffee was good. Good was great. I liked the atmosphere and I was able to have a video call without difficulty (despite a lot of background chatter). Honestly, I'm not in this part of Leeds very often but if I am, I'll be coming here.

Waited over 40 minutes for Toasted sandwiches. When I spoke to the waitress to ask where our food was, I was told "Lots of people have ordered at the same time". I would have appreciated being told there was a delay when I ordered, so I could decide whether to wait or not. Not cheap for the standard of food and the excess wait was very dissapointing- I would not reccomend based on this experience.

This is our favourite bar in North Leeds, Owners and staff are always welcoming, friendly and attentive. Zeyna and Celeste especially so you need anything just ask and they will do what they can. The food is spot on every time, prices have stayed affordable, good variety of drinks, cocktails and food and they have the best coffee in Leeds. We have been coming here solidly for years, it’s not part of a chain or anything just a local family run business. #SupportYourLocal

EXCEPTIONAL! If you've read any of my reviews you'll know my golden rules-service, and proportionate quality. Crikey, this cafe is off the charts. Not even joking, their service and quality is hands down in my top 5 this year. Situated in Guiseley and Turkish themed it is always busy with eclectic selections and superb quality. We come here a lot with our grandchild and also with guests as we've never had a poor meal. This occasion we had a Mediterranean breakfast with Turkish coffee. Look at the photos. Never had feta cheese like that before. Think it's my current favourite eatery.

Guest house is well placed, very easy to walk into Harrogate centre. No food at the guest house, but plenty of places to eat close by. Rooms are very well decorated, ours was a little small There were no other negatives. EV charging at the bottom of the road.

We stayed in this hotel for one night, it is not far from the centre of town and is in a nice area. The room itself was spacious and nicely decorated with everything that you could need. The bed was really comfy and had a great nights sleep and was also very quiet at night. The people that own the hotel were really friendly too.

Fantastic stay at The Grafton Hotel. The room was lovely, spacious and clean and the bed was really comfy. It would have been good to have some hand soap in the en-suite but everything else was perfect. The Grafton is ideally placed to walk into Harrogate town - only took us approx 10 minutes. There was no breakfast included with the room, which was fine for us...is plenty of places to grab breakfast in Harrogate. I would definitely return and would recommend to others.

Fantastic stay. The room was left incredibly clean and refreshed every day. I slept fantastically with plenty of room.

Nice room, comfortable bed, nice touches with tea/coffee/biscuits. friendly welcome, after that fairly quiet except for the bathroom fan which was very noisy! Enjoyed our stay and will return hopefully.

Excellent stay. Third time in the last 2 years. Mark is an excellent host. Did not get to meet his wife but know the service we got is a reflection of both their hard work and service to guests. Lovely room with everything you need and he even serviced us from his bar late one night. Great central location about 5min walk to centre of Harrogate a big plus. And he provides additional parking time in the street after you stay so that you can appreciate town even more. Highly recommend Grafton as affordable and lovely place to stay in.

The room was small but adequate for a one night stay and close to the centre. Bar wasn't really a bar and just fridges stocked with bottles so enjoy the bars in town. The staff were pleasant whilst there, but not so after we left. We asked to pay our bill on checking out but were told it was paid so thought nothing more. We then got a confrontational message through the booking site to pay the drink bill..... obviously a miss on their part...' if your happy with your bill WHY don't you just pay it'. Not the communication I would expect when they didn't answer my call to do so. Not happy and won't be going again. In reply to the owners response...the phone you were contacting was having trouble receiving calls at the time due to moving to a new supplier and a simple please could you contact us would have been sufficient rather than the perceived aggressive message. We asked to settle the bill before we left and its not our problem you gave us the wrong information. Sort your billing and update your records in a timely manner!!

Service is appalling. Waited 2 weeks for my deposit refund, no communication. Till this day to refund recieved. Staff blocking numbers saying they’ve sent the deposit when they haven’t. Would not recommend this apartment and will never be coming back again!

Awful experience me and my husband went for a after wedding getaway the lady was so rude the condition of the apartment was quite dirty their was hair all over the pillows but did not make a fuss as we checked in quite late and realised later on they kept my deposit and claimed that we trashed the place and had been smoking they scam you with the deposit and try their best to keep it 100% do not recommend worst place I’ve stayed at as of yet

They take a deposit when you arrive which you don't get back by the way when you call they done even answer.they message and telll You lies so you stop bothering them.i am still yet to receive my monney. The place is filthy.and not been cleaned.. only nice thing abouts this place is the brand new built I'm sau a. Staff were rude and lied through their teeth. Wouldn't recommend. Very disappointed

Currently staying here , the apartments are wonderful , very clean and they have everything you could possibly need during your stay. The lady that checked me in was absolutely lovely, it was very hassle free and she showed me to my room and thoroughly explained how everything worked and the safety protocol should there be an emergency. There is also a 24h shop less than a minute away ! Very reasonable price for the quality of the apartment.

We had a good meal here on a busy Saturday. We managed to get in for a table of four after the afternoon rush. We waited a little while for drinks to arrive, but the food came pretty quickly after that. We had a good mix of dishes between us from the crispy duck salad, pancakes, steak and eggs and a chicken burger. We all really enjoyed our food and thought the price was pretty reasonable too.

Bills Leeds. Incredible food, with large portions and great quality throughout. The menu has a vast selection of items, with something to suit everyone. I also had the tropical smoothie and the elderflower lemonade, both of which tasted great, but the portion size didn’t really reflect the price which was a little disappointing. The venue itself was very busy but had a great atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly, and payment was made even easier with the QR code system which worked seamlessly. There are also plenty of offers available online which makes it even better value. Overall, a great experience and one I’d happily recommend.

Very dimly lit, was difficult to read the menu. Had to order drinks 3 times before they arrived. Asked for ketchup never arrived. Ribs were cold and the Thai green curry had 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Burger looked like a happy meal. Staff slow yet not busy. Only positive was the beer was good

Arrived in Leeds the other day looking to grab some nice food was directed by some locals towards Bills their recommendation did not come lightly, absolutely amazing experience, great food, lovely atmosphere and such helpful staff. 10/10 will definitely be coming again, also a big mention to our server Kalila who was so charming and helpful throughout our stay. ❤️

Food was very nice it came out piping hot. I was very impressed. I ordered the beef and ale pie and that was very tasty. The staff were friendly as well. Would definitely recommend here.

I was hovering between 3 and 4 stars. Visited twice while staying at the Premier inn, on both occasions the food was good and service fine, although on neither occasion was it busy. However, the whole place looks tired and shabby, as if it's heading for the end so no money is being spent on maintenance. The staff do what they do but without enthusiasm. The beer I ordered I was told they don't sell now - take it off the menu then! Matt had been there, I know this because he'd carved his name on the table top; is it really acceptable in a restaurant to leave that in use? I appreciate that it's a customer to blame but the staff could deal with it, surely. I often wonder if these reviews are read by the big companies, maybe if they did they might have a better understanding of what their customers like or expect. As for Matt, maybe he'd like some crayons to write his name!!

I visited for a meal with my father. This was a very good experience. The satff were very friendly and helpful in guiding us to our seat, serving at the bar and during our stay. I required assistance with the hot drinks, with a member of staff only too happy to help. The food arrived quickly and the quality of food was good. Staff came to ask if everything was OK with our meal and if we required anything further. Both me and my father really enjoyed our meal and stay. Would highly recommend!

Great lace to have your Sunday Roast and let children play in soft play sections. Food it's great and in good prices. It's worth to mention that they have great meal and drink deals and offers. I would definitely recommend this place specifically for families with children but also to anyone who likes proper good roast. Portions are considerably bigger then in most similar places. Worth to mention they have a nice outdoor playground with fencing and tables plus the inside play area it's lovely. My family loved time spend there.

Terrible! Waited over an hour for food! Reason "The batter is taking a while on the fish, we will be just a minute" and it came 10 minutes later, the starter chicken coujons were decent enough, but the main meal was horrible. The fish was not battered properly, as you could still see the skin of the fish on it, the chips and beans were decent as well but the fish was horrible, verysoft inside and very hard batter, not worth £13.49, there waa also other issues, chair fabric falling apart, poor cleaning. Breakfast was just as bad, toaster was very slow at cooking, took 3-4 mins to be a light brown, buffet has bad selection, no fried toast, mostly stuff like eggs, tomato, but still, the food was bad, do not recommend coming here.

Excellent service from Luke, Jess and Harriet today. They were nothing but helpful and explained all the offers with drinks and food etc. I had fish and chips, the best fish I’ve ever had!! My husband had beef and ale pie, and he really enjoyed it! We will be returning!

Christmas Eve family get together at the Rhubarb Triangle. Had a very enjoyable lunch. 2 of us ordered from the Festive Menu, 2 courses for £15.99, extra £3 for a third course. Others ordered from the main menu. A couple of the Festive Menu dishes were unavailable, which was a shame, but still a good choice of options. Food was all very nice and we were given a voucher for 25% off food throughout January!

Enjoyed my meal here, I had garlic mushrooms starter, which were disappointing as they didn't taste anything like garlic, mammon with egg and pineapple which is unusual you get both and it was delicious. Desert was some sort of apple crumble in a slice with custard which was quite nice. The staff were very friendly and efficient I would return.

Really friendly staff, great value and good gluten free options. I normally bad for the kitchen staff and a bit awkward when asking about gluten free options but the staff are really knowledgeable and nice about it.

Had the mixed grill. It was really tasty, and nicely cooked. Quick and friendly service was a plus. Update: Still wonderful staff, and had a lovely burger today ( Tuesday ). Big Stack Burger. Really succulent and juicy. Update: The unlimited cooked breakfast is absolutely epic. Tasty and crucially hot, too. Too many cooked breakfasts are served barely warm, but this was lovely and hot. Well worth a visit.

Never had a bad meal from here. Matthew is a credit to this place. He’s fantastic at his job and a wonderful person! Would also like to praise Trish who is also fantastic. Not a long wait time and great value food options.

Good Brewers Fair dining pub. The food is very reasonably priced and good pub food without being exceptional. The bottomless fizzy non-alcoholic drinks is a welcome addition. It's friendly without being too much in your face. A good place for lunch or dinner.

A party of 4 adults. Food was mostly very nice. One member of the party had mixed grill and couldn't eat the beef as it was too sinewy but enjoyed the rest of his meal. The other three enjoyed their meals

Came here for the carvery on Sunday and I was disappointed the mash used was instant mash and the swede and carrots mashed were like sloppy baby food. Not the best and my partner had what was supposed to be katsu curry with chips she received scabby chips with Chinese curry sauce and a bit of breaded chicken with spring onions and chilli as garnish. I won't be returning as the food was poor.

Went for Mother's Day all you can eat breakfast with most my family. A great time had, food very good but could taste better as a little bland in parts. Sadly though, don't like the idea of staff taking plates whilst still eating. Nor telling us to go before 11.15am, when we booked at 9.30am didn't get all our food sorted until after 10am and spent good money there. We ended up leaving at 11.30am, so a bit disappointed with what they said. Otherwise, it's a great place, accessible for disabled and has a disabled loo too. And there's a sloping road down to play area, where kids can play whilst watching boats or ducks on canal adjacent to restaurant.

Stayed at premier inn and went to the Brewers Fayre next door for breakfast. £10.99 for unlimited cooked breakfast which also gave the option to also have the unlimited continental breakfast which is £8.99. There were lots of choices, pastries, jams and spreads, cereal and fruit. Cooked breakfast was ordered and had everything on offer that you wpuld expect on a full english. There was fruit juices and tea and coffee tp help yourself to. Absolute bargain for the price if you have a good appetite and not watching your weight 😋

Booked for 5 on arrival the table was totally unacceptable it wobbled from the middle and having 3 children with drinks would have been a nightmare disaster,we requested to move first woman just said they were all booked, second woman moved us to another table, we then went for the Sunday roast the meat was absolutely disgusting beef was still bleeding and uneatable. Left most of the food. We will not be returning. The furniture is all ripped on the bench seating areas. very run down, for the price of the food the place should be welcoming and comfortable.

Excellent café in a great location. We visited on a busy day and didn't have to wait for a table as there is tons of seating inside and out. The service was fast, despite it being almost full, and food arrived quickly! ☕️ This cafe is excellent for anyone with dietary restrictions as they have a large, detailed, clearly labelled many with gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options for breakfast, hot food, cakes, and coffee. They also have gluten free bread if you order a fry-up or soup. They offer a huge variety of vegan milk, and vegan spread for toast. The food is delicious and very high quality. 🦮✅ The cafe, both inside and out, is dog friendly!

We only had drinks, they were great. Relaxed & great staff. The painting of the clay was the best thing about the place, different shapes, sizes & prices from big dogs & dragons to little butterfly & flower. It was a great service & fun. Have recommend it to friends. They kiln fire & glaze it then you can collect or have it posted to you.

Wonderful lunch and time to rediscover the artist in me. Haven’t painted since leaving school 50 years ago. Choose a piece, paint it and wait to get a text to pick it up, once fired in the kiln. What a great concept. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. Helpful friendly staff made this a truly magical and creative afternoon. Sweet potato and chorizo hash with fried egg brought out my creative juices 👍

Such a treat this place. We only popped in for some lunch but turns out we could do pottery painting as well! What was going to be a quick spot for lunch, turned into a two hour crafting session. The food was lovely and came out in good time. The choices for pottery painting were excellent and the staff were more than happy to explain the process. As we weren’t local to the area, they also offer a postal option so you can receive your pottery after it has been in Kiln!

A lovely little café with a great range of drinks, food and sweet treats. There are plenty of tasty vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The overall atmosphere is charming, friendly and inviting.

What a lovely place this is.. me and a friend went here today on the hopes we could have a cuppa and paint some pottery, we were welcomed in by a lovely young gentleman who sat us down to do that with no problems. A lovely lady served us and told us eveythng we need to know about the painting.. we spent a good 60-90 mins in a lovely chilled atmosphere with a cup of coffee, milkshake and painted our pottery. Lovely service by all. Lovely and clean and welcoming place and we cant wait to recive our pottery in thr post. Thank you.

We chanced an unbooked visit and got the last available table by the door. We were thankful for getting in and advised that being by the door, people would be coming in and out all the time. This was the case, but we knew the score so it was fine. I felt sorry for the lady welcoming people as she had to constantly close the door as people failed to understand it was their job to do so when they walked in (basic manners that evade a lot of people unfortunately). The soup we both had was excellent and sandwich was too. We had gingerbread lattes which were excellent as well. Overall a very nice place and definitely worth a visit. Definitely book a table though. Many thanks for a lovely visit.

We've walked past this restaurant many times over the years when on our way to the cinema, so we decided to try it out and booked a table. We weren't disappointed and really enjoyed our meals (the mixed grill was delicious!). The atmosphere was great and seeing the kitchen in the centre of the restaurant was interesting. Loved it and will probably go again.

Great place to eat in Halifax. Very prompt and welcoming service. Food was wonderful especially enjoyed the rid stack. Special mention to Natasha and Stephen our servers, going above and beyond to make our visit so special.

We have been into the Halifax branch a few times at lunchtime, usually before going to the pictures. Service is always very good and the servers are very attentive. At lunchtime they have an offer on , £8 for a meal. So far we have tried 3 different things each and were not disappointed. The portions are big enough for lunchtime, always hot and very nice. I would recommend to friends and family. Cola/lemonade etc are unlimited top ups too. I think this place gets missed by people travelling into Halifax.

Went for breakfast with my partner yesterday morning and the food was amazing, came out hot and the 3 staff members were very attentive, even though it was very busy. Will definitely come again.

I would never eat here again, the manager has no manners, has absolutely no care as to whether the customer is happy or not, he is abrupt, rude and can't be bothered to do anything to help the customers feel welcome. There was no accumplements for coffee, chocolate bits for cappuccino and a like, there was never even a thank you when we pointed out that the kitchen was on fire, we were told it was table service, then to find out only what he wanted to serve you, so toast, coffee and fruit juices were all self service. The waitress we had was totally the opposite, curtious, helpful and polite, deserves to be the manager here, as this establishment wouldn't miss the manager they have at the moment.

Amazing place, Stephen the manager was by far the best I've ever experienced. Catered to our every need and more! And our daughter too! Food was amazing too and if Stephen is always this friendly and the staff too we will definitely be coming back

There’s a criteria of two things that define a good greasy spoon, the simplicity of the food and the amount of Tradies in it, this place definitely ticks both boxes. As a southern fairy I’ve struggled to find a northern pansy that can figure out the good greasy spoon, but Tim’s got it somehow, I don’t know who gave him the trade secrets, if I wasn’t sure he’d deck me for even thinking it, I would say he must be a Londoner. I drove all the way from Leeds for this breakfast, and I’ll definitely be doing it again. Thanks Tim for getting it right! I had a breakfast sandwich that disappeared before I could get a picture of it…

A unique and atmospheric little cafe in the now closed Thorpe Arch trading estate. Very good menu and at very competitive prices points. Very friendly and attentive staff, orders can be made in advance on the telephone. Great quality of ingredients and locally baked cakes. Thoroughly recommend.

We love coming here for a half time dog walking pit stop. Literally couldn’t be friendlier or better - lovely staff, lovely food, very dog friendly. Such a nice atmosphere, people are chatty and friendly and it’s a lovely place to spend some time. The best start to the day!

Traditional "Cafe". Simple Menu but everything well done. Many Breakfast items, Jacket Pots, Sandwiches. Homemade Cakes. Large seating area. Friendly efficient Staff. After an additional visit I have to mention The Bacon Sandwiches are fried as requested. My "extra crispy was SOoooo good.

As a man who does not mind paying for a decent feed I gambled on the cheese and bean jacket coming in at a whopping £4.25. for that I was expecting a massive spud covered in the world's best combo of cheese and beans..... As you can see by the picture it was nothing like I expected for the price and tasted of nowt really couldn't even taste cheese very disappointed. My mate paid for the chicken salad for which he was charged £3.50. Hardly any chicken and cheap nasty mayo. Mentioned that the salad was nice.

Delicious food for both humans and dogs! Extremely quick, efficient and friendly service and the place has lovely decor. A warm and welcoming atmosphere - both myself and Vince love it (so do his other mother, his shepherd siblings and rommie dog friends). The staff made me feel really welcome and it was good value for money. I can't wait to come again and neither can our dogs!

A great little proper cafe, down to earth, clean and great food how a cafe should be. No fancy trimmings just good grub and good prices. One to remember. Found this place along our route on a Google search so hope this review helps others.

Nice little place, comfortable and friendly service. They take your order at the table. I ordered the full breakfast which comes with a nice cup of coffee and 2 slices of toast. Unfortunately the breakfast itself was lacklustre due to the small portion. One sausage, as nice as it was, didn't cut it. One egg with one small tinned tomato and a small portion of beans also disappointed. Then the two slice of bacon was spoiled by the edges of the meat being burned black which completely ruined the flavour and enjoyment of the entire breakfast. The only plus was that the mushrooms were cooked too perfection. In my opinion a full breakfast comes with two of each item plus hash browns and at least one slice of black pudding. Then it would be worth the price of £9.60 which simply isn't worth the price for such a small breakfast.

Great little deli cafe. We use it stopover for lunch to avoid motorway service stations as it's not far off the motorway. Had a fuel station nearby too.

Came here for the first time for breakfast with the Mrs after a night out in Leeds. Great atmosphere, calming music in the background, friendly staff running the place and prompt food to your table. We will definitely becoming back when we return to Leeds. The Large English breakfast was £11.50 and it came with a proper sausage instead of the usual catering ones and a fresh toasted Ciabatta. Up there with one of the best breakfasts I've had from a cafe.

This lovely hidden gem is a delight of rustic charm. The staff are warm and happy to see you. The soup is a delight with a lovely cultured toasted bread side topped off with a perfect brew! Make sure you go upstairs for a really relaxing atmosphere and comfort with views of the street.

I had such a great experience at Bella Café! The service was absolutely excellent – the staff were welcoming, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious and freshly made, with generous portions and great flavors. You can really tell they care about quality here. Definitely one of the best spots in Leeds for breakfast or brunch. Lovely location. Welcoming decor. Friendly staff with great communication. Good menu. We had to wait approx 20mins for table but was a great table. Food was worth visiting as it was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. If I had to be constructive, I would recommend some acoustic panels as it was difficult to hear anything at busier times upstairs.

Great place for a lunch, with quick and friendly service. Definitely a bit busy a lot of the time, so sometimes it's a little loud, but the food makes up for it, especially with the new menu, always improving!

Found this place in the town centre while nearby for a walk. You can't book in advance but luckily we managed to get a table downstairs (they also have tables upstairs as well as covered outside tables) Very interesting menu to please everyone including big and small breakfasts, pancakes, french toast as well as some very nice sounding brunch items. I got the smash burger which was really really good. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and tasted lovely. But the fries that came with it - the best fries I've ever eaten anywhere! They were perfectly cooked, tasted amazing and the portion size was good. My wife got the lemon & blueberry pancake which was also good (not as good as my burger though!). Great portion size, plenty of fresh fruit and good amount of pancakes. I also got a latte which was very nice. Service was great, food was amazing, and I can see why they were so busy. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back (Please keep the burger on the menu!)

What a most pleasant experience at Kofi n Co. Couldn’t rate this place any higher!! Menu I felt was bang on trend , and the proof was certainly in the eating, first class. Atmosphere was great , good vibe and pleasant background music. Friendly staff helpful and diligent. And finally the Coffee is fantastic, the basic standard of any cafe / coffee house. Ten out of ten.

Extremely busy but people were getting seats nonetheless as the service was good. The popularity might be an indication of the quality - though the coffee was fairly good, the food, ambiance and service was high quality. Perhaps on the pricier side for a café, but this might not be the best way to describe it as it also does brunch, burgers and fried chicken. I'll have to come back for the last two!

Food was absolutely amazing! Very busy but we managed to get a seat outside. The whole menu looked appealing but we finally settled on the American pancake stack and the Kofi croque with a side of chicken bites. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

£10 for a vegan sausage roll with amazing unique hash browns & a coffee! This deal was amazing and I 100% recommend. The presentation was lovely and the vibe and staff are on point. The graphics on the menu and colours in the cafe caught my eye!

I've been coming here for seven years - can you believe it's already been that long! - since it opened. It's gone through a few growing pains in that time, and a few chefs to boot, but I have to say that they seem to have found their stride in general offering a great lunch spot in Huddersfield. It brings the vibe of a Leeds coffee house to Huddersfield. The drinks offerings are fantastic and as far as I know they try to support UK or local suppliers and growers. My favourite place for a meat-free full English. It can occasionally be a bit chilly in there if you're staying longer than an hour - I wonder if they would invest in better heating or blankets? Service often top-notch, one or two front of house members really stand out in terms of how attentive they are and how well they look after you. Once you've been more than twice they're more than likely to remember you which is damn impressive because I'm willing to bet they have a lot of regulars at this point. Regular seasonal menu reviews as far as I'm aware which keeps things fresh. Try their supper clubs for a special night out - if you're a foodie you'll love it. Keep it up guys :)

One of my favourite spots in Huddersfield. Arcade has nailed the art of great coffee and even better food. Everything they put out is made with care and attention to detail - the coffee and food looks and tastes incredible. Highly recommend!

It was a quiet morning so I was able to eat and drink and knit for a while. I had the mango oat and granola thingy which was ok but the mango was soooo sweet and gooyie. Too sweet. It would have been better with fresh mango . The salted caramel latte was the first I'd ever had as they had no hazelnut syrup. It was pretty disgusting to my taste but others may enjoy it. It's a taste thing. Again too sweet for me. I should have asked for less syrup. Staff were ok. I would go back again and try something different.

Great for a quick drink near the station. We stopped by when we missed our train. The teas were lovely and the server was very friendly. Toilet was clean although down a lot of stairs.

Went on the 30th July, had an amazing meal but the highlight of the day were the staff. Incredibly friendly and helpful. They looked after us, making sure we had no worries with allergies and making us feel incredibly welcome. 👍🏻

Every time I come back to Huddersfield I always make sure to visit Arcade. The food is delicious and they have many great vegetarian options, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and their hot chocolate is one of the best in the UK as it’s made with real chocolate. I cannot recommend this place enough it’s a lovely little independent eatery inside Byram Arcade.

Went to the new shop first to be told they don't do food but two sat outside were eating a toasted teacake and one was brought to another table as I was leaving? We were served a freezer burnt teacake which I mentioned to a member of staff, response... Nothing! Just a look, not good enough. Also the tuna in my panini was a joke, I could scoop it up on a knife the amount that was in one half. Cheap coleslaw! The coffee however was excellent, probably the best I've had but the poor service regarding the food has put me off ever coming back!

A group of 6 went for the first time today we were seated upstairs. We ordered vegetarian breakfast..I didn't want tomotoes or mushroom so was subsisted for an extra halloumi slice. Veg sausages were amazing! We all Enjoyed the food it was hot and delicious... only slight nighle would be 1 egg isn't enough definitely need 2! Also don't margarine the toast...butter please! Oat latte was delicious...the coffee definitely has flavour. We would definitely return..CASH ONLY or Bank transfer accepted!

Stopped off at this Cafe about a month ago. Ate a hearty breakfast accompanied by the delicious house brand coffee, all reasonably priced. Gorgeous. Miles better than that corporate dishwater the tax avoiding big boys churn out by the gazillion litres. Bought a kilo bag of coffee beans on the way out which they kindly ground for us. İf ever we're passing through Huddersfield again we'll definitely drop by this delightful place.

What a strange little place 😳 We felt uncomfortable from the minute we entered the place but felt compelled to sit down. I ordered our food and drink at the counter and presented my bank card. I was told "we prefer cash". I saw the card machine so asked "but can I pay by card?" The lady, rudely said again "we prefer cash". Luckily we had some money on us. Whilst we waited for our order we saw 4 other customers all pay by card, no questions asked (some served by the same lady who served us). Really odd 🤔 We quickly ate our 'very average' food and couldn't wait to get out of the place to be honest. Safe to say we will not be returning due to it's strange atmosphere and very strange customer service.

Disappointing visit, expected a lot from the coffee considering they have an onsite roastery. Server didn’t seem to care about my coffee in the slightest, burnt the milk and served me a latte instead of a flat white, which didn’t taste much like coffee once I could get passed the scalding milk. Was then asked if I could pay with cash instead of card, which I couldn’t do considering it’s 2025. Real shame as the cafe itself looked good.

We popped in for coffee and toast this morning during the Rhubarb Festival. It was dog friendly and our little pooch was very welcomed! We ordered coffee and a lovely waitress came with a bowl of sausages for our dog! It was greatly appreciated!! The cafe has a nice feel and would return again in the near future!

Exceptional service straight off the bat. Very accommodating for dogs. Staff were amazing and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hot chocolate is the best I've had in ages. The food was delicious and definitely homemade. There was a slight mix-up with my order, but this was rectified. I had the omelette with chips, and Partner had beef burger with fries. Portion sizes were incredible, amazing value for money (see photos). Definitely recommend and will most certainly visit again! Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Superb food and brilliant staff make for a very enjoyable lunch out. I think this is one of the best Club sandwiches I have ever had with lovely bacon and chicken in a soft fresh baguette. What a lovely cafe owner. I came with my 6 year old daughter and didn't realise it was cash only. Mimmo offered a free sandwich for us to share and gave my little one a chocolate bar. He didn't have to that, we'd have happily just bought a coffee and juice with the few pounds we had but he really looked after us. Grazie Millie, Fantastico!

Lovely cafe, quite busy for a 'secret' cafe. We were walking along the canal when we saw a sign to this little gem. Looked like they had a lot of regulars. They have a range of food options. I got the BLT sandwich and a latte, the sandwich portion was more than enough. We also got their soup of the day which was cream of mushroom. My friends ordered omelette and eggs Benedict. Food were presented well, decent in portions, delicious and affordable. It has a homey atmosphere too. Can't fault this café.

A lovely first visit after a dog walk along the canal from Sowerby Bridge . An absolute gem of a place in a lovely setting. Friendly, welcoming staff. Vegetarian breakfast sandwich was tasty and good value. Cappuccino hot and frothy. I will be returning.

Best pies in Yorkshire. I had Steak and Kidney and wasn’t disappointed. Served with home made chips (like your Mum used to make) & mushy peas. Absolutely delicious. Helpful and friendly staff made a great lunch fantastic. I’ll be back.

We come here every time we are in the area. It’s never disappointed us with a great selection of freshly cooked food. Whether it’s full English or their selection of home made pies, unusual salads, sandwiches and even cream teas - they do the lot. Great food, great value and lovely atmosphere - it’s a winning formula. What’s more you can walk or cycle to/from here along the Rochdale canal path. Perfect.

Excellent service. Standard pricey chain affair of course. Problem with latte being cold was picked up before we complained and dealt with quickly, fuss-free, kind and polite: even checked in after the free replacement was ok. Absolute credit to the young lady for sorting so professionally. Great spacious layout for families, prams and the less mobile

I use this Costa at least once a week and was sorry that the previous manager moved elsewhere within the company. He was excellent and I saw the improvements he made. The new manager has big shoes to fill. Generally, things weren't the same standard. By this I mean the atmosphere was not as friendly and seemed a bit less efficient. However, the coffee was great and I will see how things develop as the new manager finds his feet.
