Went here for some desserts after a meal out with friends and family. There is plenty of seating available inside with no ques and service was quick and attentive. All the food ordered was serviced quickly and the food was good particular the waffles were great. The Creps were a bit soggy rather being crispy. Other negative points were that we still had to order at the Till, despite being a covid requirement and the table was not cleaned prior to us being sat down and the glasses they gave for water was dirty. overall decent food but the venue and facilities needed brushing up

Lovely staff. Very friendly and professional. Portion sizes were really good and reasonably priced. I loved the bookshelf decor on the wall and generally the whole vibe. Thanks guys

The food was standard what you would expect nothing special at all it like minuim £10 for any desert which isn't . Service was ok they seemed friendly people....the people in the desert place not to much as if they were animals how they were behaving...I'm not sure what the area is like but didn't seem good to me.

Plenty of choices, bit dated inside was clean though. Surprising they don't sell faloudas they sell kebabs and chops as well. Staff were good and service was prompt everyone got correct deserts.

Best desert place I've been to, beautifully designed, loved the homely touch the bookshelves added to the very classy look of the rest of the place, prices were brilliant for the very generously portioned desserts (chose 2 of the first page brownie creations) which were both delicious, could've easily shared one between us, staff were friendly and delightful, overall a truly exceptional experience, highly recommend

Decor and vibe is nice! Nice seatings with relaxing ambiance. It’s a shame the desserts were terrible! Cookie dough wasn’t baked properly and tasted bitter probably because of the sauce. Had Desi tea which tasted sour like the milk had gone off

I went to Haute Dolci and tried the pistachio latte and the pistachio gelato made by the lovely Shristi, she made the drinks so tasty and well presented, I had to take a photo. My friend had the mocha which was just as tasty. It's a great place to meet and catch up with friends. The whole team is very welcoming and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place, go and check it out for yourself :)

Ordered 3 desserts, two were fine, the third (cookie dough) was burnt!! Didn’t bother to complain / ask for another because I knew we’d be waiting another hour Tables full of customers waiting for their food and only one waiter to be seen! Seems like they work at their own pace, don’t seem to care how long they have people waiting…Took 50 minutes to get our desserts, wouldn’t visit again

Had a great experience - The service was amazing special shoutout to Sanika, who was super friendly and helped me decide what to order when I couldn’t make up my mind. Really appreciated her patience and recommendations. At the end, I tried their Cappuccino, and wow — that was a bad boy! Also gotta mention Salauddin — respect bro, you made the visit even better. Definitely coming back again!

The restaurant is exceptional, with fantastic presentation of the decor and the ice cream. Additionally, it was very delicious at affordable prices! They did a very good job making my mother feel special on her birthday. Shristi and Riya were very kind and accommodating in particular. We will definitely be coming back!

Had such a delicious ice cream with the Belgium sauce and it was absolutely spectacular, 200% would recommend to any new comers. Lovely server called Aizah made sure we enjoyed our delicious experience, me and my dear friends embarked on a sweet adventure.

This place is very nice! I got the "I'll have what she's having" because they didn't have any bananas but I would highly recommend it for anyone who is a first-timer. They have a nice variety but not too big so all the crepes they make are very nice and good quality. I wish there was a bit more crepe, but it could be because I was very hungry. Very nice.

I ordered the salmon and avocado crepe, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The crepe itself was rubbery, and the presentation was unappealing. For £11, I expected a much higher standard in both taste and quality. Overall, I don’t believe the meal was worth the price, and I would not recommend this place.

Crepeaffaire can get really busy sometimes but luckily we found a seat, the food was great and the waffles especially were massive. I would recommend this place because of the nice service and good food ! I tried the savoury crepe for the first time and I was impressed, it's like a pizza in a crepe ! The waffles and smoothies were homemade and tasted great, lovely portion sizes. Fair price for good food. I think I'll be coming back, just a shame that Trinity can be so busy sometimes :)

Really lovely place! Super convenient spot with a lovely, comfy atmosphere! I had a delicious 'I'll have what she's having' crepe with strawberries and Nutella, it was perfect! Filling but not overly so, perfectly hit the spot for a nice sweet treat! I was served by Lauren, she was so lovely! Told me about the student discount and was very happy and friendly! Created a really good vibe! Perfect little spot, I can't wait to come more often ❤️

Visited for breakfast and loved the pancakes. The coffee was spot-on too, and the staff were really friendly. Only downsides: prices were a bit high, and sipping coffee from glasses felt weird. Plus, seating was a bit snug. Still, enjoyed it overall, but some tweaks needed, hence the 4 stars.

Nice place for everyone who like crepes. They offer a good choice of sweet or savoury crepes. In my opinion, crepes are very tasty and good looking. Nice capuccino as well. I like this place because of nice, friendly staff, especially George. Very good service and table next to the window is perfect for people watching.

Travelled 4 hours for these doughnuts and they did not disappoint! I haven't been able to have them since they left London, and decided for my birthday I needed them again. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were super friendly. The doughnuts were just as good as I remembered. The softness, flavour, and freshness of the doughnut is unmatched. The chocolate ganache, perfectly balanced with respect to milk and dark chocolate, and a glorious velvety consistency. The raspberry jam, again. perfectly balanced but with respect to sweetness and tartness (very different to the overly sweet stuff you get from other jam doughnut)! Also, and importantly, the doughnuts are PROPERLY filled - in want filling in each bite, which Doh Hut definitely delivers. Best doughnuts ive had in the UK hands down - please come here!

If you love filled donuts, Doh’hut is a must visit! They serve the style donuts we all dream about, but with a distinctly British feel, think jam or custard-filled donuts, only on a whole new, indulgent level. I tried two donuts, the Chocolate Filled Brownie and the Butterscotch & Angel Delight. Both were absolutely amazing, packed with so much delicious filling. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the donuts themselves were cooked so well. I was so impressed I even asked the staff how long these could last, I was tempted to take some all the way back home to South Wales! Freshness is key, and these are definitely best enjoyed straight from the shop. If you’re in Leeds and love donuts that go above and beyond, Doh’hut should be top of your list.

My favourite coffee shop in Leeds! The donuts are incredible and freshly made and honestly the best donuts and coffee I’ve ever had. Yet to try the sandwiches but feel confident they will be just as delicious!

Great donuts, probably one of the best I’ve had. Just right sweetness level and chewy dough, although I’d say the donut skin is a bit too thin and there’s a lot of filling. The cheesecake donut with raspberry and white chocolate, filling was raspberry flavoured, even though it had a lot but didn’t feel too heavy. They don’t do chai latte sadly, only coffees

Doughnuts are out of this world! Lovely little shop, great selection of doughnuts and drinks. Vegetarian/alcohol free but do ask when there are any specials on. Favourites are the creme patisserie and the chocolate ganache. 4 stars as i found the customer service to be quite aggressive. You made me feel very belittled and that you couldn’t be bothered to serve me again. Would i visit again? Of course, but do keep the bad mood in the kitchen next time. Sorry to have disturbed you!

Friendly and efficient service and a nice assortment of menu items to choose from when you fancy a bit of an indulgence. We shared a "Sl***y Brownie Stack" (a bit of a daft name) which was a bit of a treat at close to £9 but when offset with some free tap water it's no so bad. It's everything you'd expect and hope for if you're looking for a warm pudding.

The cookie dough skillet for 2 was absolutely gorgeous. Me and my grandma really enjoyed it. We also got the most delicious Nutella and oreo milkshakes. Phoebe was amazing, she was kind helpful and professional. Really delivered excellent customer service. Looking forward to our next visit 😁.

I was extremely disappointed on my last visit. No one informed me that the ice cream machine was broken, but I was served substandard ice cream without any explanation. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, and the employee's behavior is completely unacceptable.

Food was great. What let them down are some sundew where not available (cheesecake) and they had some system where they take 1 order then 2 of them make it before taking the next order? Why not take orders and seat customers? Just common courtesy. Did not feel welcomed either.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. From the second I walked in, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. The staff looked like they’d rather be anywhere else, and their attitude made that very clear — short, cold, and borderline rude. Then there was what I think was the manager (God help us if it actually was). This guy oozed arrogance like it was cologne. He looked at me like I was wasting his time just by being there. Zero professionalism. Zero warmth. Just this smug, condescending vibe like he thought he was too important to deal with actual customers. It was honestly one of the worst interactions I’ve ever had in any business, period. I left feeling more irritated than when I walked in. The whole place had this toxic energy that made it feel less like a professional environment and more like a high school clique that hates outsiders. Laughably bad. Will never return. Save yourself the headache.

I had high expectations for Heavenly Desserts but was extremely disappointed. Our group of eight was crammed into a booth meant for six, making it uncomfortable from the start. The service was disorganized—our orders were mixed up and served at completely different times, so we couldn’t enjoy our desserts together. Despite asking six times, we never received proper cutlery and had to eat with spoons. Our server, Sania, made the experience even worse with her poor attitude and lack of customer service. She seemed disinterested, rushed through serving us, and barely acknowledged our requests. When we asked about our drinks multiple times, only one person received theirs, while the rest never arrived—even after a 30-minute wait. Meanwhile, other tables were served promptly and correctly, making our experience feel even more frustrating. Overall, the poor service, dismissive attitude, and uncomfortable seating completely ruined our visit. This was not the experience we were hoping for, especially after hearing such great reviews. Management seriously needs to address these service issues.

Good food but not so good service. Waiter seems very sad and did not want to work i believe. Have tried in Manchester and Edimburgh as well. Taste is close enough.

This was actually my second visit, and the quality of the waffles was perfect both times. The first time I visited in February with a friend, the service was good. On my most recent visit on 15/06/2024, there were four of us. The service was great, the premises were clean, and the vegan waffles were excellent, the quality of the fruit used was good too. The staff were very polite and patient. I highly recommend this place if you are vegan or a family. They have a large selection of mocktail, and non alcoholic drinks, which I appreciate as someone who doesn’t drink.

I had an amazing time when I came to this restaurant. The staff the food 10:10. I would definitely recommend it. I hold Roshan responsible for such a positive experience due to his amazing customer service and positive interactions throughout. He deserves a raise well that's actually really nice

This place has a nice interior and the service was really great because the server let us try some gelato flavours. The special gelato that day was a chocolate lindt flavour which was really good. Had the ube brownie with regular ube gelato which was alright. The vegan ube gelato however just tasted of coconut milk which was not very good. Overall not a bad place.

I found out about this place from Leeds+ and I am glad I went. I ordered the Baklava Sandwich with Pistachio Gelato. The staff were all helpful and kind, and they gave a recommendation and I will definitely be returning soon

Overall is good. I quite like Ube ice cream. This is my favourite flavour so far. But me and my partner do think the dough-lato bun is not really good. It tasted quite dry and not match the ice cream really well. And the soft serve ice cream is not as good as I expected. But I’ll still back as I love ube flavour😊

Came across this small cosy dessert place randomly. If you have a sweet tooth or just want a subtle sweetness hit I recommend this lovely place. This place has a variety of desserts and new flavours such as pandan flavoured gelato and Filipino's signature ube gelato too

Had the Caprese pizza, which was lovely, and the mint choc chip gelato which was even better! They’re doing great work raising money and awareness for important causes. They are openly and vocally in support of Palestine - which is a reason to go here all on its own.

Last night's meal at ECCO Pizzeria was amazing (as usual). All the food is halal-friendly, and we have been regular customers for quite a few years now. The food NEVER disappoints. The service is also efficient and prompt via the chefs and waiters/waitresses. Tonight we ordered a few starters each, and of course the half/half half-metre pizza which always goes down well. I would strongly recommend people to visit anytime you are around the Headingley area ❤️❤️

I was looking for a halal place to eat in Leeds, as I was visiting the Headingly area. This place came up, and I tried it out. I've been back again recently and it was as good as the first time. We ordered chicken tenders which were some of the best I've had, served with a punchy sauce. The garlic bread with cheese was delectable. The pizza was made within minutes in the wood fired oven and was delicious. The crust and dough overall were authentic and reminded me of the pizza I've had in Italy. They serve home made gelato and the service is very good. Parking is a touch difficult, but the options and overall taste are brilliant. Highly recommended.

Its perfectly fine Neapolitan Pizza, if that that's your bag. Cooked on a proper wood fired oven. Base ever so slightly thicker than other places, which isn't a bad thing. Knocked a star off for the beef pepperoni masquerading as proper pepperoni, at least state it in the menu and give us a chance. The ice cream was 👌🏼

Visited as a family of 3 this evening. The service was fantastic-the waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The food came out quickly and was super tasty. The food was good value for money, especially considering the large portions. We all LOVED the chicken tenders; they were perfectly cooked and very very tasty. My husband ordered a Bombay Pizza with less cheese and the chef followed the instructions to make a great pizza. The mushroom tagliatelle was superb (very rich so I’ve managed to save a portion for lunch tomorrow too), and my 6 year old’s kids meal was excellent too. Not a slice was left! The mango sorbet was amazing, so fresh and the perfect end to the meal. Would highly recommend Ecco Pizzaria.

I visited Dixon’s Ice Cream shop near the Swan Pub, Lockwood, today (26/04/2025) at around 8:45 PM with my wife and two children. The ice cream quality was excellent, no complaints there. However, I was overcharged by the girl who was serving me — the amount I paid in cash was noticeably higher than what was listed on the price board, and no receipt was provided. I don’t mind paying a little more for good quality, but there should be more transparency with pricing. I believe the owner should take notice of this to ensure customers, especially families, are charged fairly and given receipts with every purchase. Thank you.”

Went to the one on swan lane, there was a coloured member of staff who was so rude when I only asked simple questions. I asked if I could have a bubble waffle and a Dutch pancakes and she replied very blunt and rude and rolled her eyes at me and said ‘we only have cakes it’s summer’ in a disgusting attitude. Why open in the summer if all you’re gonna do is cakes? You’re a dessert shop. Do not recommend at all. Will not be buying from here.

Shrinkflation at a local level working here. The tub sizes have changed and are much reduced (certainly for a medium tub). Dixons make fantastic ice cream although the portion sizes vary wildly from one server to the next. A visit can be completely hit or miss. We've decided not to visit as much anymore given the above and that it proves to be very expensive compared to alternatives, particularly given the shrinking portion sizes. It no longer feels like a treat but rather an expensive disappointment.

Dixon's is the best ice-cream but the service in lockwood was very poor today. They were extremely slow at serving, one person stood and watched some doughnuts warming up rather than serving someone else while they warmed up. Neither worker smiled while serving. I asked for juice on a 2 litre tub which apparently they cannot put on a 2 litre tub but can put on a 0.950 litre tub beacause the lid will not fit on even thougb the 0.950 litre has a lid. I could by a bottle of juice for £4 though even they i spent £15.90 0n icescream. The 2 litre tub has gaps where it is not filled could of put juice in those caps. Very disappointed especially as it is so expensive anyway, we will not be retuning there.

Absolutely awful service at the Lockwood branch. I asked for a chocolate milkshake, then changed it to Oreo – the staff member agreed, but still made two milkshakes. When I corrected her that I ordered one milkshake when she provided me with both, instead of admitting her mistake she was rude, defensive, and accused me of “watching her” without speaking up (even though her back was turned the whole time!). She kept putting words in my mouth and talking down to me. This was a young white woman with blond hair. Disgusting service. I’ve never had problems at the Batley or Leeds Road branches, as the staff are brilliant. But this one is run with zero professionalism. If this is how they treat customers over a simple misunderstanding, I will definitely be telling family and friends to stay clear from this branch. Staff clearly need training in basic customer service and respect. Will unfortunately have to conduct this review on my food review page.

Dixcons ice cream are really very nice and the portion nd quality is also very good but the staff is not good enough they charge me more than the actual price I don’t know why there are always in a rush .

After moving to Huddersfield we first tried Dixon ice-cream from a ice-cream van at the park and since then we are hooked. Later found the Dixon's Lockwood store and tried many flavours and all the flavours are excellent. Next time if you are in Huddersfield you should try Dixon

The service was ok but not brilliant. We were not told much information about the afternoon tea and what was included. The sandwiches where lovely and scones but the desserts could have been improved. Overall the experience was good but not fantastic. I would go again

Absolutely loved this place. Mum and I celebrated her 80th birthday here. Szylvia looked after us, serving a beautiful array of sandwiches, scones and cakes. All very fresh and tasty. When we were leaving I mentioned that it was mum's birthday and the lovely manager let her choose a piece of cake from their delicious selection. I got the deal on Groupon and it was a lovely treat for mum. She also got a brief history lesson on Valerie's. We boxed up what we couldn't eat for the kids to enjoy at home.

Good coffee and cozy small place. Quick service. I tried the raspberry tart and the latte. The tart was so good and the latte as well. I saw everyone trying the afternoon tea It should be good,I definitely need to try it next.

Great variety of cakes... Always crowded and small shop but the staff are nice and fast... U have to try it... After 6 years I want to change my mind about this shop.. With corona events and everything is online I ordered 3 big cakes for delivery.. All of them came to me broken and broke my heart and ruin my occasions. And when I contacted them they respond send your complain again ( I can't believe it 😩) I'm so sad

I went with my friends to this place for the first time and we had the chocolate overloaded crepe and the San Sebastián cheesecake – both were delicious and came in decent portions. The service was top-notch as well. Tarek and Mohamed were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Me and my friends ordered an ice stones through Uber Eats. £12 for a “cookie dough”, we got two, nothing about it was cookie dough. It was simply one large over cooked cookie. We asked for sauce also, at first I couldn’t see it and yes I did have my glasses on. My friend then pointed out the small little squiggle over the cookie and we noticed that was supposed to be the sauce we added🫤 I normally wouldn’t mind what I received if I paid £4 however it is £12 each. Absolute rip off, maybe put some more money and effort in the actual desserts rather than the branded box and bag.

tried the Kunafa Cheese Bomb and it was amazing! Super cheesy, crispy, and full of flavor. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything came out fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re craving something cheesy and delicious!

Disgrace I orderd from just eat and my food arrived like this because it was packed with an open lid drink in the same bag is my food so now the waffle isn’t edible and it’s soggy and mushy

It seems like a decent place from the outside. My partner and I went in once a while back to try some sweet. I remember i said i am not going back in here again. But later (last week) i decided to give it another chance and try other things on the menu. It didn’t exceed my expectations unfortunately. The sweet you get a sence of on the menu doesn’t feel the same when it’s served to me. Maybe it has to do with how they’ve done their menu. Or I don’t know. Staff are nice friendly, but seem like it’s their first day - a bit tense. That is not a feeling i would expect from an establishment like this. Which i don’t blame the staff, that in my opinion reflects a failure in management for not properly training them. Again what do I know i am just a customer. Prices are what don’t make sense mainly. It is not proportionate with what you get in-terms of atmosphere, service, and the items served. What i know for sure is, the answer to the million pound question; Will I give this place another go? DOWNGRADED TO 1star! They put a copy and paste reply below poor reviews to email them (suggesting they will resolve issues).. guess what. They won’t reply to you. Absolutely awful company Sadly very disappointed. Overpriced. Understaffed. Slow service. Dirty. I would never normally write a bad review… but if paying premium prices you expect decent service. There was one staff member clearly overrun. Made no apology for incredibly slow service. Asked us for our order before we had even sat down as he was in a rush. There was lots of mess under tables which is poor. The shakshuka came with only one egg which I’ve never experienced before. The French toast looked fancy but was bland. I could see other customers getting frustrated with the very long wait. Suggestion to the management - employ more staff and train staff in customer service or cut your prices in half

Wow, wow, wow. Lovely style of seating area. A choice of a booth or at round tables. Absolutely awesome flatbread with pesto, olives, and feta. My friend had the bacon, harrisa, and mozzarella flatbread, which had a nice bit to it. For dessert, I had the cornflake tart with custard. My friend had the macaroon plate. The hot chocolate came with whipped cream. The watermelon mojito was refreshing, and minty I am impressed by the toilet facilities. They provide a lovely large disabled toilet and another toilet. Our server Hamzah was polite, friendly and greeted us with a lovely smile

I used to visit with a friend but after a recent experience will not return. I ordered a pistachio croffle with cream. Upon tasting I noticed the "cream" had a sour taste so I proceeded to remove it and just eat the croffle though there were still bits of the "cream" that was hard to remove from the croffle grooves. I thought not to make a fuss and inform the staff as I didn't want to cause an issue and also thought that this cream was maybe a flavoured cream and not a usual cream (though there was no description on the menu as to what type/flavoured cream it was). My friend also noticed that this "cream" looked rather strange. A few hours later I had awful stomach ache and my suspicions were confirmed that the "cream" was the culprit. The issue was brought to the attention of staff on another visit, they asked me to write down what the issue had been and that a manager would get in touch, though this was a lie and I also didn't expect any acknowledgement but to waste my time, asking for information and contact details and not do anything was quite disrespectful and showed a lack of customer care. The staff member on the second visit confirmed that the cream was supposed to be a "vanilla cream" further confirming that the cream I had with the awful taste was definitely not fresh. When people pay good money for a dessert that I would have been better off making myself or purchasing from a supermarket and paying far cheaper, you expect better from a place like this. Though the standards are clearly failing here.

Our sever was Shem he was the kindest and most polite server we have had the pleasure of meeting. He got all our orders in tact and asked us if we had any allergy or dietary requirement and handed us the folder for items that contained allergies as I have bout allergies and after wards he asked if everything was fine every now and then. The menu was very interesting I had to try several desserts and was happy with everything and ended up with a take out. Items starts from 1.30£ upwards and it's very reasonable, would be coming back .

I came to Heavenly Desserts after leaving another restaurant due to terrible service. I ordered a Spanish latte and a mango/strawberry ice cream sundae — both were enjoyable. Aisha, although not our server, stood out. She double-checked our order, asked if everything was okay, and made sure we didn’t need anything else before closing. She was warm, professional, and a great example of excellent customer service. On the other hand, our actual server, Harris, didn’t introduce himself, check in on our table, or make conversation — yet asked for a review after we had paid then told us his name. While his service was satisfactory, I’d encourage him to take notes from Aisha, whose approach truly made the experience better. Overall, thanks to Aisha, my visit ended on a positive note.

Decent little cafe, the gelato was definitely the highlight. Wide variety of flavours, ( matcha and pecan maple were the best imao) . Lunch was decent and had great portions. Servers and staff were friendly. The only thing I had to point out was that the fork I was served had a large chunk of dried potato on which was kinda gross. ( this explains the 4* food hygiene rating) overall will be revisiting .

The Milk Churn Leeds - Delicious Ice Cream! Just had to write a review after my visit to The Milk Churn in Leeds today (13th May). I heard great things from friends and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The Ice Cream/ Gelato: 5/5 stars. Absolutely delicious! I went for the Ricotta and Fig flavor and it was incredible. So creamy and flavorful. We only had ice cream this time, but next time I'll definitely try some of their other offerings. Service: 4/5 stars. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Just a heads up from my visit, though - you get a bigger portion if you don't get served by the owner! and for the price i expect bigger. Atmosphere: 4/5 stars. The cafe itself is nice and cozy. They have a nice outdoor seating area that looked perfect for a sunny day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at The Milk Churn. easy parking, Super delicious ice cream and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and explore the rest of the menu. Especially since it's so close to home!

I love ice cream, and when I say I love ice cream, I've been lucky enough to try it all over the world including Italy. Let me tell you, if I could give this ice cream 7 stars I would, this is in the top 2 ice creams I've ever eaten. The texture, the flavour and the options regarding the way it is served are amazing. First the gelato is delicious. So intense and incredible flavors. I had chocolate, ricotta and fig, and cookies and cream. The servers Shauna and Callagan were wonderful and explained the farm and the business. They are opened in winter 11 to 4p. I wish later for dessert expect you can take it to go earlier for your freezer! We enjoyed the ice cream and took a scone and brownie to go!

Great place to chill , meet, let kids play indoors and out, enjoy nature! Sit comfortably in or out, great ice cream and milk shakes ( as you'd hope at milk churn lol). The afternoon tea is great, food and value. Just good for a quick stop off even, for a nice scone and cuppa.. my little reward driving back from Seacroft hosp. My little nieces, love it too, nice environment, they always make nice new friends. Perfect to enjoy on a sunny day, and relax. Enjoy! X

We have been coming to the milk churn for years now. Both my daughter and I are coeliac. Every time we come in we explain and the staff are usually very accommodating getting a new clean scoop and clean water etc. so the staff must have had some kind of allergen training This time when we visited on Saturday, half way down the tub of ice cream there was several chunks of ice cream cone mixed in with the ice cream, but I didn't notice until I was chewing on it. 5 days later I'm still incredibly ill. We won't be returning. It is a very easy avoidable cross contamination. Please teach your staff better as coeliac disease is a very nasty auto immune disease

Our experience eating out with the kids turned into a complete disaster. We placed our order carefully, ensuring every detail was clear. Then, we waited. After some time, two milkshakes arrived. We waited again, and eventually, the waffles were served—but despite ordering two different kinds, we received the same type. We chose not to say anything and continued waiting. Then, coffee arrived, but without the milk we had requested. A hot chocolate coffee we had ordered never came at all. We had repeatedly asked the staff—four to five times—to serve everything together so we could enjoy our meal as a family. Yet, our request was completely ignored. No apology was given. Even other customers around us could see the poor service and supported us. I am generally a calm person, and those who know me can vouch for that. But this experience made me so frustrated that even my kids were shocked. Never again. To top it off, the food wasn’t even that tasty. Definitely not worth it.

We bought 3 cookie dough with ice cream, and my youngest child found a piece of blue rubber glove in his ice cream, we tried ringing the shop for over 10 minutes, and no one answered. In the end, we had to drive down to sort the issue out. I definitely agree with some of the other reviews here that the staff definitely need to demonstrate more professionalism. Definitely won't be returning there again.

Ordered a flooda and it was dry, standards have droppped massively, gave it back immediately with not apology in return. Also the signature shake: vanilla Gelato, Victoria sponge, Rasberry Sauce, and sprinkles…. This is what we got (photo evidence does not lie). Crap management, did not appologise, or any kind of acknowledged or emphaty. Called for service, very delayed.

Bad bad , I ordered 2 Mexican deluxe burger they sent cheese burgers instead also got 3 portions of nachos all burnt and no jalapeños even tho I asked for extra and one kids portion of chicken pop corn there was 4 tiny and I mean small bits of chicken it just look like a tray of chips and the week before I ordered a Mexican burger they didn’t even bother to send it and I’ve been a loyal customer for years , avoid , they were supposed to call me to rectify but no call

Awful customer service- had a missing item on delivery order, called them and incredibly rude woman spoke over me, said she sent a totally different item to that which we ordered, but we didn’t get that either. Just so rude, no apology or human response. She tried to blame it on their own menu description but that is their problem. Awful.

Atmosphere seems great in person which is what intrigued me to order. However, the food arrived 15 minutes after my time slot not to mention the fact they had said it was delivered already when the guy wasnt even on my street. The cookie dough was burnt, the ice cream tasted weird and the milkshake kept seperating into different layers even though it was supposedly fresh. My partner said that the sauce on the wings wasnt even sauce and it tasted weird, the burger was completely dry but the bread soggy due to the amount of sauce on it. As well as this, the lettuce tasted off and the chips were barely cooked and bland even when using the mayo.

Their AI advert sounds horrible, they could've used a real person and it'd have been way more inviting

Berry's has quickly become one of our favourite local pizza takeaways. It's a shame they no longer deliver to Pool but I'll happily still drive to collect. Food is always great and ready on time. We tried their deserts for the first time last week and they didn't disappoint either.

Went to Amorino for the first time today and tried the vegan shakes, they were delicious we had a lemon and mango and the other was a lemon and strawberry. They are super thick too, can't wait to go back and try the other flavours!

Got a small cone and was able to choose 5 flavours, very good value! The portion was generous and every flavour was delicious. You can also request to try them before making decisions on which one to get. Great mix of options, from classics to more seasonal and unique ones. Perfect treat!

This is a must visit ice cream shop in Leeds. Every kind of ice cream is delicious. Creamy ice cream, Tasty sorbet. I like the lemon sorbet that gives you a freshly sour taste. Price are valuable. But always have to wait in a long queue 😅

Hello I would to let you know Today I’m order ice cream, chocolate and caramel. I wanted to let you know and to please check the camera in the shop. When one of your staff was scooping the ice cream into the cone he kept talking, for example “I can’t do it” and “it looks so bad” and he kept doing it. He asked his coworker what he should do and he kept talking and as he spoke he was inadvertently spitting into the ice cream because the ice cream was under his month and he kept talking. Darling 3-4 min for waiting a lot of spitting in the ice cream ,I paid for the ice cream and took it but I binned it. Thank you

I got an ice cream but not a Gelato, the texture and the tase was far away from being a gelato. It was too hard sugary and leans tobe and an ice cream due to the diminished flavours and hard texture Nice staff

2 staff members, 1 new who was nice and did a good job of making the rose shape, despite being new. The other was quite unfriendly & unhelpful, she didn't explain how things worked at all. It's such a bizarre concept - you have to choose what size/type of ice cream you want & pay first, THEN you take your printed ticket to prove payment & choose your flavours. We weren't told we could pick as many as we liked. I chose coconut & mango - the coconut was super grainy - sure that's natural but it can be smoothed out. It was a warm day but the whole thing was melting the second I was given it. And you're only allowed to try flavours AFTER purchasing - so silly. Buy before you try, rather than try before you buy. Not worth it for £6.

The best bakery ever. I finally got to this place as I did not realise they close at 3 somedays. The Victoria sponge was amazing and they have so much choice. It is very busy and they make nearly every type of sandwich filling listed on a massive blackboard. The staff are so nice and patient. Its so nice to find a proper bakery that makes the vintage bakes and a large variety of sandwiches. As I left I told the owner I would be giving a 5 star review and here it is! Well done on great baking and great service.

Grabbed a sandwich from here today for my husband, have purchased cakes from here before and have always been happy. 3 stars is due to the fact that there wasn’t much filling inside the sandwich, big difference in filling between this bakery and another I use locally.

Visited Delicious Desserts last night. Was craving their Cornflake Tart with some Ice Cream and an Oreo Shake. The place is clean and always well stocked, the Desserts were absolutely beautiful as they always are and the Shake was so tasty. Have been coming here for many, many years now and the quality of food & service has never once slipped. Always a 5 star establishment, i would recommend at every opportunity.

The Staff were very Rude, acknowledging the customers but not serving them and when we called the staff they denied to serve and laughed. Because of the bad behavior of the staff I left with my family without having any food from them and gone to the next door the chaiiwala.

I am absolutely disgusted by this manager's behavior. The ice cream smelt off, so we went back to speak to the owner, and he started shouting and getting aggressive. He was threatening my little brother as well. Absolutely embarrassing. I've never had this man speak to us like that; therefore, I won’t be returning.

Outstanding selection of cakes, including vegan options, delicious freshly made waffles, chunky ice cream and the staff is always more than happy to personalise. Much better quality and taste than Dixons or Ice stones and still at better price. Can't wait to visit the new branch!

Super homemade sweet pastries. They are well made and delicious (and high calorific value). The shop is local and neighbourly and it is independently owned and managed and this is so very good. You can feel the personal passion and desire to offer a food product and service. I will return as it is very good and have marked this as a favourite, to support and to buy for others. What could be improved? Three or four lines.of semi-sweet and/or savoury cakes. Such as fruit scones, or other less sweet options. That would.make this excellent for everyone. Also give elthe website a higher profile within the shop so we can buy online when we live further away!

Tried a few brownies and bits from here and from a pop up. Super yummy. Very sweet of course, I think some of the brownies could take a touch more salt to balance the sweetness, but that’s just my personal preference. Snickers brookie is my favourite so far. The cookie slice tasted a little bit bicarby, will have to try another one to re-review. The Oreo cookie pie OH MY what a thing. I was taken out in two bites. Incredibly dense but absolutely delicious, I want to try them all!! The coffee is not my favourite, maybe it’s the oat milk they use, not sure. Will definitely keep coming here.

I was visiting from Bristol and I couldn't miss getting some GB treats in person after loving their Bruce & Bertha (milk choc is my fave), as well as their incredible super fudgy brownies thanks to the nationwide delivery. The gentleman who served was very friendly, patiently explained the options left at the end of the day and helped us choose some pie slices. I'm happy to say that a Mr Pistachio made it back to Bristol as well, even if with a slightly deflated merengue - I'm so glad I bought this one in particular because it was fricking delicious, no notes, so sad it doesn't travel well so it won't be available for delivery 😣 guess I'll just have to come back in store!

Tried a variety of items - everything from the brownies to the cupcakes to the cookies are of high quality and use great ingredients. Can be a little pricey for some items but you do get quality for your money so this is understandable. The RGDC cookies are a personal favourite and definitely worth a visit for. Overall I’m sure there is something here for any sweet treat lover and 100% worth a visit if in the area !

The most incredible slab of cake you’ll find! Layer upon layer of pure heaven. And the cookies are so so good! I have tried most of their flavours including limited editions ones, totally recommend the cinnamon roll flavour 🤤🤤

Came here to pick up a classic bertha for my bfs birthday. Situated in the popular student area of headingley - this is definitely the shop to go for decadent treats. The service at the shop is fast and the girl working there was really friendly and personable. As stated we got the classic bertha and I picked up a couple of slices of the pie (cheesecake) I had a slice of banoffee and a slice of biscoff. I am not normally a chocolate cake fan as I find it too sickly but I was really surprised - the bertha is perfectly balanced and light. The pie was also beautiful. The banoffee isn't overpowering and the biscoff one was also lovely. Both have the perfect ratios of biscuit to topping. I think it's well priced for the size of the slices. We will definitely be back again! Thank you ! Perfect place to shop for a special occasion or just because!

We were up in Headingly for a meal out, we didn't opt for desserts as we wanted to visit the BEST dessert establishment 'Get Baked'. So after we left the restaurant we walked straight to Get Baked for the treats. What can I say we have previously had Bruce Cake and the sticky toffee pudding, which incidentally is the BEST I have ever tasted! This time we bought Cookies, Lemon Meringue and Biscoff pie, all of them absolutely delicious, portion sizes are so generous too. Lovely friendly staff in this shop, and always a lovely atmosphere, as everyone in the shop is like a child in a sweetshop, all excited at making that decision over which delightful dessert to choose. Highly recommend, visiting is a must

This place has the potential to be so good but the customer service is the worst I’ve come across, very bad communication. If you ring the bell to speak to staff they ignore you. Set false expectations when you order, food will be ready in 10 mins. Usually takes about an hour in reality. Staff look like they can’t be bothered and don’t want to be there. Have given this place so many opportunities to rectify but it’s the same every time. Oh also the toastie I was given was burnt. See pics below.

We visit here on a regular basis, and we love it here! Go to is the crepe, particularly the chocolate indulgence. Cooked really nice and generous ice scream scoops - got a variety of flavours. Service is great, more than happy to help and give you the best experience. The interior is a vibe, atmospheric, and cosy with a bit of neon lights. Small restaurant but it's a really nice place. Can't count how many times I've been here with my partner. 😋

Great smash burger. Great toasties. The toastiest were the biggest surprise, with beef or chicken and amazing sauces in them they were on another level.

Busy as hell, too many delivery drivers walking in and out, you could barely stand in one place, staff didn’t understand the order and gave us the wrong items. Dukes 4-5 years ago was pretty decent, but the moment they have expanded with their delivery services, over time, their level of quality and customer service has gone down. At least we now know to avoid. Plenty of far better donut shops in Leeds. My advice is, create a separate booth or area for delivery drivers, not to interfere with customers who are coming in, otherwise this will create chaos.

I did a TikTok review on this place and honestly I’ve had a fair share of beef toasties but this one here… leave it behind wouldn’t recommend one bit. I spat my food out. The donuts, now if you’ve ever been to Asda and bought donuts from there and put ur own little twist you get dukes little confused thing. Could identify as trans after this.honestly ive never been to a more confused place. I had to talk to one person for one thing and another for another thing. not that hard to get what you want. Wouldn’t recommend. Thumbs down from me 👎🏼I don’t think the rats next door would even crawl in and eat the meat.

We booked a last-minute 6-night stay for a family of four in the summer holidays and, at under £400, it was very affordable — so I can’t complain too much. It gave us the chance to explore an area we’d not visited before, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a few things that definitely need attention. The bins on the first floor by the lifts regularly smelled unpleasant, and the carpets in the main corridors are overdue a deep clean. The “family” rooms are also very cramped for four people — if there isn’t space to walk between the two single beds, it’s effectively just a double. On the positive side, the cleaning staff were lovely and friendly, as were the reception team.

It was a nice hotel with good and spacious rooms. The breakfast and restaurant area had a weird smell at night, and I thought it would go away by morning but did not happen. When I came for breakfast around 8AM, it was mostly empty, and nobody was there to assist and had not a lot of options. The weird smell was there again and you could not eat. I would say very poor service in keeping the breakfast items full and cleaning. Rooms were brilliant. Videos attached

Lots of parking and it's free to use! Friendly greeting from reception guy, quick check in all information given. Room was on the ground floor. It's a new hotel so it's all modern and stylish,air conditioning unit keep the room nice and cool Bed super comfortable Wifi excellent Shower was hot and powerful. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Location is great. Loads of parking. Restaurants nextdoor, easy to drive into the centre of leeds from here. Sadly the room wasn't great. Cleaning was poor. Dirty tissues and toothpaste on the sink from previous guesses. Bins in the hall ways smelled when walking past. Cleaning staffed barged into our room twice before checkout. Staff were all walking around in plain clothes with no badges. Wasn't clear who was actually working. Facilities and the price were at least good but I'd say there's lots of room for improvement.

Absolutely shocking horrible place stayed for two nights and had forgotten my make up bag in the room I contacted the hotel straight away and they said they will call us back if they find it it took them about 4-5 hours if not more to call back to say that had it went to pick it up the next morning to find that around £200-£300 worth of make up has been taken from the bag told them about this and they did nothing but say it’s not there fault I cannot accuse staff of stealing and in the laundry room where they keep the lost and found box ironically doesn't have any cameras in that room the manager confirmed this on the phone to me. When I opened the bag I found that the make up had been opened and touched with their fingers leaving marks and dents in the make up and the cheek of them to take a brand new item out the box and leave the empty box in the bag most of the make up was brand new and expensive brands it may sound silly as it’s only make up but for a young girl who works all day everyday and has slowly built up this collection of make up for it to be taken is quite a bad thing to happen really when you pay to stay somewhere and put your trust in the place and the staff it’s appalling to know that you will be robbed at any chance that can. Disgusting and disappointing

Perfect Location abd connections to M1 and M62 Rooms lovely, Staff very welcoming. We didnt have food, but it smelt and looked delicious 🥰 Last minute business travel and had to bring my 2 year old with us. Perfect location for him as well, large park for little ones and lovely walk by the lake

Sadly, this place is pretty filthy. Rubbish and dirt all over the bedroom floor, so another room was provided. Replacement room was no better, with no toilet roll and dirty, wet towels (obviously they were just rolled up and put back in place after the last guest used them. Hair in beds. The works. Reception staff were nice, but cleaner who was sent up with replacement toilet roll, and she couldn't have look less interested in the other issues if she'd tried. Amazing sweet staff and omg the ice cream and milkshakes were delicious. The cakes, brownies, cookies and pies were on beautiful display. Spent around £50 and got a complimentary box of clotted cream fudge. The desserts were delicious so I definitely will be back for more and recommend.

I believe we got the Matcha Jelly Parfait, which we would rate 8 out of 10. Wasn’t very happy with the ice cream flavor, and I think they definitely need to offer more options. Otherwise the place is amazing!

Huge matcha fan, so this was our first stop when we got to Leeds. The ice cream didn’t disappoint at all! Just wish the shop vibes matched Japan’s super clean standards. Would be nice if staff came out to clean the tables after people leave.

As a daily matcha drinker for more than ten years, I can safely say these guys are wonderful. Food and drinks are on the expensive side (definitely a treat), but servings of matcha are generous and high quality. Great range to choose from and friendly staff. Can get busy at times, so try to avoid the busiest hours.

Got one of their mochi sundaes. Didn’t taste much matcha and mochis were soft which paired well with the dessert but I just didn’t enjoy it (personal preference). Store and staff are nice. Quite pricey which is why I would not return

We ordered Houjicha Bubble Tea w/ Coconut Milk and Strawberry Frappe w/ Cheese. Loved the Houjicha, very different and unique as it was our first time. Strawberry Frappe felt like fresh strawberry milkshake blended with ice but loved the cheese. I ordered because I saw so many reviews of it. Next time gonna order some matcha soft serves or yuzu.

When I say this is the best hot chocolate you can have, I mean it. I tried the 70% dark ice chocolate and it was lush, the staff were lovely and got some boxes to take as gifts too. I just wish the tables were cleaner and the seats were more comfortable but that’s just the sitting area I had issues with. Overall enjoyed it.

Friendly and efficient service from the staff. 100% hot chocolate was beautifully bitter and delicious. Cinnamon Bun was huge and looked amazing. Sadly it was a bit on the dry side and consequently lacking in flavour, so had to dip in the chocolate to compensate.

It was fine but the lady at the till kept misunderstanding our order meaning it took around 10 minutes to order. The mocha wasn’t the best and we had 3 small drinks in total I basically think it’s a dupe of hotel chocolate and more expensive. The best was the 36% one but it’s £6.55 so I’d walk a bit further down the street or get a boba 🧋.

Very impressive desserts and quality overall. First time I ordered for me and the family and it was a totally awesome experience. Will definitely be ordering on a regular basis, hands down the best one I've tried in a long time. The fresh donuts were delicious and still so warm. This place isn't shy off adding topping either unlike other places so definitely value for money.

We was gifted a tray of the most beautiful looking and tastiest doughnuts by a customer at work as a thank you gift. All the staff had one and we managed to sneak one for the kids too. I will definitely be ordering from you in the future. We've had doughnuts from other places that was so bad, we refused to waste money on them again but these were absolutely divine.

Went for a afternoon lunch, We ordered Samosa chat and Chicken boty with naan. Service was too slow for the small order , the chicken was good, but the Chat was a bit stale and not fresh . Still there are many other dishes to try , so will go again.

I visited Mughal Restaurant for a halwa puri breakfast, and unfortunately, it turned into one of the most disappointing food experiences I’ve ever had. While eating, I found a big mosquito inside the puri. I immediately complained to a staff member who was moving around, and to their credit, they replaced everything — including the chana and puri. Still, after that incident, we didn’t feel like eating much due to the bad feeling. We decided to parcel the halwa and puri instead. When I came back home and opened the parcel, I was shocked to find a bee wing inside the food. This was extremely disturbing. I’m sharing this for public awareness because such issues point to serious hygiene problems in the kitchen. The staff, and possibly the owner, did apologize, explaining it as a “weather issue.” But honestly, if insects or their parts are ending up in the food, that’s not the weather — it’s poor cleanliness and lack of attention in food preparation. I had been willing to let it go after the first apology and didn't take the picture, but the second discovery left me completely disappointed. I still paid the full amount for a breakfast that not only ruined my appetite but also my trust. In the end, I had to throw everything in the dustbin. This was a truly unpleasant experience, and I will certainly never return. I urge others to be cautious and not eat blindly.

A little bit pricy roughly £10-£15 per person, very busy, we got Lucky and got seat quickly. The Nihari was amazing, very tasty. The service was very good and very friendly staff. I did not give Atmosphere 5 star because of music (personal choice). Otherwise, it was lovely.

Ordered a take away using uber. You will pray Mughals special biryani and what u get is a mixed chicken and meat rice. I guess with a 100% certainty that they just mix the rice with curry and call it biryani and that’s what u get for ur money. I hope they know what real biryani looks like or tastes like. Not sure why they lie. They can be honest and name it fried rice or something. But honesty doesn’t run businesses I guess The curry was as horrible. We have lost all sense and taste of real Asian food as customers. That’s why they thrive and feel comfortable to fool us.

We never leave Mughals disappointed! The food is always fantastic and the customer service is just as great. Our firm favourites are the nihari and the halwa channa breakfast - both full of flavour and consistently delicious. They've recently introduced a Royale Thaali, which has quickly become our new go-to dish. It offers a little bit of everything: saag, daal, and halwa channa - perfect for when you can’t decide what to have!

Great food and service the waiters where great especially jawad 10/10 my go to place

Very extensive menu. We had a Greek salad and the Dynamite Prawns plus chips. The latter two were decent. Greek salad should really come with Kalamata olives, oregano, olive oil and red onion, none of which were present in the dish but the rest of the ingredients were fresh. The atmosphere was nice, with recorded piano music and the staff were helpful and service was quick. Would be nice to catch the live piano music at some point if they do actually have a piano player. Hope to return at some point to try other dishes. In summary, Pearl's is a decent place for a bite to eat though not in the same category as something like Betty's Tea Rooms as it caters to a different crowd with different tastes.

First time trying pearls after it being recommended, Initial impression of the interior was really nice. When entering No one greeted us and we stood for a little while it wasn’t overly busy ( female servers walking around just glanced at us but didn’t come over ) No one asked us if we wanted anything during the duration of our visit we had to call people over each time for drinks and dessert ect . The male member of staff behind the counter was much better when we went up to choose cakes The food was nice and came out fairly quickly, good portions the children really enjoyed it Overall nice food service lacking

Enjoyed my visit to pearls tearoom. I ordered the English breakfast, loved it. Portions were small good enough so that I could finish it off. 9/10! My husband didn’t quite enjoy his grilled chicken wrap he rated it a 5/10.. Alhamdulilah overall :)

First time visiting this place with friends. Tables are nice and spacious. Food came out fresh! Made to order! Cheese toastie was a disappointment. I expected a grilled cheese toastie. Not cheese on bread. The dynamite fries topped with chicken was really good!!! Not keen Fish and chips. Presentation was good. Fish appeared warm not sizzling. Maybe just me. The customer service was very good.food was nice but one problem it said masala fish but the fish had batter with just pepper on the fish, i was expecting fish with spices. That is not spices.

This town needed a desi high chai vibe and snowcold have done it proud. What a wonderful afternoon tea, the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff ( Nabeel ) , the atmosphere and comfort was outstanding . The selection of desi twist and the traditional scone was fabulous, I like how we could choose our hot drinks , as I don’t drink desi tea! Overall the experience today was wonderful

My first visit. Restaurant is clean, the staff were very welcoming, being greeted and seated by Sanaa, who explained the ordering service. The desserts arrived quickly and were value money. I had the strawberry and banana Belgian waffle - which was a meal all by itself! Highly recommended and will be coming back again. 👍

Service with sanah was great, friendly and welcoming. Desserts were good, not too fond of the queen Victoria shake, tastes like toothpaste. One of the desserts were also served in a cracked dish, a little disappointed with this, however was sorted as soon as mentioned. Also ordered a lotus biscoff ( I af forgotten ) because they didn’t have no espresso shots left unfortunately. Overall good service could do with an improvement on desserts.

Ishal was incredibly warm and welcoming during our visit to snowcold. She greeted us with a cheerful smile and made sure we felt comfortable right away. Her menu suggestions were spot-on, and she checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. No malice intended here, just an honest review! Service was okay (staff were pleasant) but lacking communication - they didn’t tell you to go to the till to order - so you end up sitting waiting like a sausage. The Matilda Cake was not great. Too sweet/sickly and seemed to be bought from a local Tesco and stamped “Matilda cake” We had to ask for the flake bits that are supposed to come with. Real instagram vs reality moment! Not great (can’t comment on the other items on the menu but wouldn’t recommend the Matilda Cake) 🍰❌ Sorry Mr Icestone….

The place is beautiful, kept clean and staff are nice. There is a lot of stuff to choose from. We got crepes, cookie dough and Matilda cake. The crepes were nicely made with a good amount of sauce filling and toppings. The Matilda cake was nice however after half it does get a little sickening. The cookie dough cold by the time it was served and one was unfortunately burnt. Probably woundnt go again as the product is not worth the price. The atmosphere is great though.

Great selection of desserts and lovely decor. We bought the strawberry and Nutella cookie dough, a couple scoops of froyo and a kulfi falooda. Everything tasted good and wasn’t too sweet, and was presented well. Most of the staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there, however the manager thanked us for coming as we left. Some friendlier staff who actually want be there would help a lot. Plenty of parking nearby and large booths to a accommodate larger parties and families, but I would say desserts are overall sub par in terms of size and taste to their nearby competitors.

Terrible terrible dessert parlour. We waited 40 minutes for a table which we understand if it’s busy, then we ordered which took another 45 minutes for first dessert to arrive, then another 10 minutes for 2/3rd dessert to come and then the final dessert never arrived they forgot about the order completely. In regards to to the actual desserts they were terrible the waffle was disgusting the worst dessert I’ve ever had and the Matilda cake was below average. Would never recommend just go anywhere else but here

Absolute joke of a place! Went in with my 7 year old daughter who needed to use the washroom facilities, asked the waitress if my daughter could use the toilet and told her I will buy a couole of drinks! She said it’s for customers only and to go to the restaurant opposite!!! I would totally understand if she said no for me to use it being an adult!!! I said to her it’s a 7 year old child and she just wasn’t bothered! Rest of the staff just looked!! Pathetic people and business!!! I would give them a minus 10 if I could!!

Never used the place before but was just really craving a crepe? Had a look at a few places online but this one stood out for having a good selection and a good hygiene rating when compared to other places in range. The food took a while to come but it was SO worth the wait. Absolutely banging crepe! The ice cream came in a separate little tub which was so cute! (Saves it from melting all over the crepe in transit!!) The crepe was still a little warm, the sauces were so good, the banana tasted fresh, and it was just top tier. Probably the best crepe I've ever had in my entire life????

Com'on guys think about the menu a bit more and you have spelling mistakes in your menu that the print people should have picked up on lol . Bit the burgers and fro yo amazing also if you have no pittas left or buns left please contact the person don't just send a burger with no bun so bad any issues contact people let them decide what to do But we'll worth ordering from this restaurant absolbloodylutley just a tad expensive for what you get and delivery charge is a fiver it doesn't cost that much in a taxi big up though as the burgers are well worth it I thoroughly enjoyed mine it's been a very long time since I said that from a restaurant don't change them just add more combos like to see a haiwan burger and one with cheese and mushrooms and the pickles and the tangy sweet sauce that when I looked at it I thought it would be too spicey was amazing too just a touch of heat but not hot or spices more like a bit of pepper it jelled well with the sweetness and pickles and cheese and the burger wasn't out facing which I do find a put off it was just right customer care was spot on too ty guys we shall be back my new favourite burger

I was overwhelmed with the variety of flavors offered by the kind owner himself. From Oreo, Ferraro Roche to coffee, bubblegum, salted caramel and fruity flavors, I loved them all, my favorite scoop, was that of Oreo & coffee, even though the most popular one was Ferraro Roche! They had a cozy sitting space too, just in case it started raining or snowing outside ;) Overall, for ice cream or Gelato lovers, I’d definitely recommend this place for the yummy flavors and quick service, on the go, and of course the owner, Sol, is really sweet too :)

Deserts, Not bad at all. The place looked a bit rough around the edges. Needs some TLC and a good tidy up. However, the deserts were nice, no complaints about the the sweet treats. The staff were quick with their service and items were presented nicely. Check it out.

First time back in nearly 20 years. Still a good as I remember. Homemade ice cream, and excellent food, space to eat inside and out. Their own cows peeping over the fence.

Absolutely beautiful cakes and food, generous portions, we had meringue nest fresh fruit and cream and the tastiest moist chocolate fudge cake 😋 the staff were super friendly. Definitely be returning, we loved it there and you can see the cows and dairy farm attached from the outside 🐮

Dearne Lea is a go-to for our family as we live within walking distance. Not only is the location convenient but the ice cream is top-notch with excellent flavours and choice. Even if we didn't live nearby, we'd certainly make the effort to visit! Eating inside the tea rooms is also always a pleasure: great service, great food (LOADS of chips!) and great value.

Love this place. Took little one (age 5) for his first visit today, before getting an ice cream we popped up to the viewing gallery so he could see where the milk came from. He was very excited to watch the cows as they came and went, being prepared for milking and of course the milking itself. He then excitedly skipped round to choose his ice cream. A great adventure and learning activity for families.

I enjoyed some pancakes and a milk cake. The portions were generous and delicious, although it was a bit expensive. The service could have been better, and several items were unavailable.

If I could give no stars I definitely would. The waiters and waitresses are just rude kids. Called to place an order and the guy answering the phone was just straight up rude. I asked for the total and he said “JUST COME DOWN” then said he could not give me the total as they were REALLYYYY busy. Went to collect my order and the shop was empty 👍🏼 Told the lady at the till that I got shouted at over the phone and she just laughed in my face and handed me my order. Even then the order was wrong. Corrected her a few times and then finally got the right thing. Came home and the profiteroles were expired and SOUR, then the croffles were just FLAT and soggy. Then called in to ask to the speak to the manager and the guy who answered the phone said “just come back and we’ll give you something else” … after having ruined the taste in my mouth I think I’m put off from there forever. Do not recommend.

Ordered Banana & Strawberry crepe, and found the crepe terrible. It was like a stoggy roti. There weren't enough strawberries & banana, and the one scoop of ice cream mediocre. The cream...well let's just say it was cream! I was a guest for my host who took me here, but would not recommend this place based on the quality I experienced.

Love it in here mainly for the cakes (food is good too) but if i am being honest i am all about the cakes. The standard of baked goods and flavours is better than anywhere else locally or even in Leeds. Highly recommend it (although i might regret it if it becomes too popular) less cake for me!

Sunshine bakery was collaborative, creative and absolute perfection when designing and making my wedding cake. They even were kind enough to follow a specific recipe to create my husbands favourite childhood cake. Decoration was beautiful and the flavours were delicious. I often see lots of cake left over at weddings... not at mine! Everyone raved about it. The cafe is quaint and eclectic in decoration, and the selection of baked goods and treats has my mouth watering every time I go in! The people who run it are as sunny as the name implies. After just a quick chat with them I felt as if I had made new friends. A true local gem. I'm so grateful it is on my doorstep!

Lovely space upstairs for groups. We came with 6 and had a nice table together. We ordered full english. $9.50😳 The food was very good except the breakfast came with scrambled eggs not fried, and the hash browns were slightly underdone. Hash browns must be crispy, right? I ordered two crumpets with fried egg and cheese which wasn’t on the menu and they were very accommodating. Very friendly. Very clean.

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Marsden village. The veg burger was so tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive.

I took the plunge and ordered a Knickerbocker glory, it certainly didn't disappoint!

We pre-ordered the afternoon tea on a weekday. The food was delicious and the hot choc was very tasty (I suspect dark chocolate melted in to milk). The afternoon tea is a great treat and the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

We love this place!! One of our regular spots. Perfect coffee and cake and Brunch. So much to choose from. Vegan friendly The Afternoon Teas look incredible! We even got them to make our wedding cake.

We got the jubilee afternoon tea for us and my brother in law to take home. It was amazing the food always is (big fan of the Turkish eggs or mushrooms on toast if on) the details in the afternoon tea and the care taken with the cakes as always was fantastic. It’s only a few minutes drive from Xscape and you can barely believe it’s hidden away on the street amongst all the houses but it is and it’s well worth a trip out!

Beautiful place with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Recently renovated to include burgers and fries. Dessert is the best in Bradford by far. Smash burgers, toastie’s and loaded fries are so delicious. Recommend this place to everyone.

I came here for coffee so thought to try any dessert. I ordered sticky toffee pudding. Coffee was fine but sticky toffee was very average not special the price I paid. Honey comb on top were so hard to eat so I left in plate.

Hello, I went to this place just by the looks of the waffles it's pity I had to settle for an Oreo Milk Shake but that was amazing as well. I was in Leeds for 4 days and each day planned to have this delicious looking waffle for Brunch and managed to go there on day 4 at 10:30 only to find the shop opens at 12:00. Should have checked it online before going there but the waffle outweighted the logic :-D The ambience is a bit too much pink I felt but again you can bypass that for a nice waffle or a milkshake in this case! Definitely worth visiting for Lunch as they don't seem to have early opening hours!

A great place for some great sundaes. Staff are very polite. Sadly, there is usually only 1 or 2 staff running both service and kitchen. I guess management could do better to hire more staff.

Great dessert cafe As we walked in, we were greeted from a lovely welcoming guy with a big smile on his face, and got asked if we was eating in or takeaway, as eating in we waited only a few minutes before we were seated by another welcoming friendly guy. Nice place with American look, with big choice of sweet food, only downside is staff. We were waiting for Coffe and wafles more than 30 min and it was just 6 people there. Very unprofessional, lady came after 15 min to tell me they don't have a Coffe which I order. After that she mixed the orders. After 30 min she brought finally our order but there was no banana in peanut wafles and supposed to be. So it was very dry. On the end when we wanted to pay it take ages again, because something didn't work. Thanks god it was just a few people there otherwise would be definitely worst.

On the whole a great place to visit: it's decorated nicely, there's a huge selection of food, swipii loyalty cards are used and the staff are friendly. The food is made fresh, and most of our group got their orders promptly to boot! However, my sister ordered a cookie dough which didn't arrive, and when we inquired about its whereabouts we were told that that dish had stopped appearing on their system. It arrived quickly after that but it's something that needs looking into!

This franchise usually serves top quality desserts, but the branch in leeds is by far the worst branch I’ve been to. I always order a brownie waffle which is quite expensive, I paid £7.45 for burnt brownie pieces and the store didn’t provide the pouring cream that is said to come with this particular waffle. Plus I waited 30 minutes for this take away order

I'd seen a friends instagram and had to try this place. The bueno range is TO DIE FOR. Cant fault this place, the social distancing measures make it feel safe. Young lad serving very friendly, and the two staff making the food you could see they were enjoying their work and were quick. A great place to sit and enjoy a treat.

Very impressive gluten free food! I couldn’t believe the bread was gluten free, had to be the best gluten free bread I’ve tried by a landslide - very delicious! Wish I’d bought another loaf! The cupcake was delightful and tasted like normal cake, if the cafe wasn’t a dedicated gluten free cafe, I’d have been convinced there was gluten. The gluten free biscoff spread is delightful, and takes a lot of will power to not eat the whole jar - very tasty on porridge! The salads are nice too. Quite a noisy environment. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. A coeliac’s paradise!

This place has a fantastic selection of gluten-free products, which is what initially drew us in. The menu is impressive, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into catering for dietary needs. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the service. Despite only two other tables being occupied, the food took a long time to arrive. The staff seemed uninterested, unfriendly, and frankly looked like they were just going through the motions. In a café or artisan bakery, the atmosphere and energy of the staff are just as important as the food. A smile and some enthusiasm go a long way, and sadly, that was missing here. Overall, great gluten-free choices—but service and attitude need serious improvement to make it a place worth returning to.

Very comfortable cafe with friendly staff. There are plenty of toys for kids, which makes it perfect for families. The coffee was delicious! The donuts were a bit sour for me — not really my taste, but everything else was nice. A good spot to relax.

It is a nice place for a cup of coffee or tea with their good range of cakes. Lots of toys and play area for children. So you must come and enjoy the aroma and atmosphere. The girl is wonderful.

It’s hard to believe everything is Gluten Free here when it looks and tastes so good! Absolutely beautiful bread, and amazing friendly staff. I'm eating a slice of teff bread now, untoasted with nothing on it and it's delicious! Can't say that for Most other gluten free breads. The other baked goods I've tried have also been delicious.

Called in whilst out for a walk. Asked if dogs were allowed inside prior to bringing our small mutts in, young lad behind the counter said no problem. After we had ordered we were told by another, very grumpy man that we couldn't sit inside with dogs... When we advised him that we had asked if it was ok he said " you didn't ask me" Shame about the small grumpy man as the food and coffee was good!.

Guy who served us was absolutely miserable. We were going to sit inside but the atmosphere was horrible, I felt like he didn't want us in there so we decided to sit outside. I honestly wouldn't waste your money going there, there's much nicer, friendlier and cheaper places to go than here.

Great little cafe in Calder Holmes park serving cakes, coffee and ice cream, just by the canal and minutes from Hebden Bridge Main Street. Two separate queues for ordering with one cash only to speed things up. Was busy due to the hot weather and a busy park, but served quickly and friendly.

Had a great experience and time at the cafe. All the reviews about the COUNCIL OWNED toilets and facilities are totally unjust because how’s it their job to deal with facilities that are not their responsibility. Overall the ice cream and drink I had were absolutely tasty and the atmosphere was quite friendly and the prices are fair for the selection on offer. The entertainment for kiddies is also given with a small table that has paper on it with some crayons, which I think is super cute. Really recommend the cafe for its food, especially the ice cream and it’s fun and friendly atmosphere!

The serve Northern Bloc ice cream what more needs to said. Absolutely awesome place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. Served quickly despite how busy it was and delighted to see there accept payment by card. Awesome place.

I get my kicks on Route 66 Favourites are Toffee Ripple Crunch ice cream in a two scoop tub with chocolate sprinkles. Have this with one of Charlie's awesome cakes. Or ask for a Nick Butty, go on, I dare you. There's free Wi-Fi and some charging ports in the corner. Don't be surprised to wait when it's busy - It's only a little kitchen and everything is made to order. Bring your menagerie or your ear plugs.

Told my 4 year old disabled boy off for eating food not bought from them. We waited 10 minutes to place an order and left after getting told off. Would of bought food and drinks for myself and my wife if not abused. Matches the state of the play park perfectly.

Been visiting for years. Such a wide selection of desserts to please everyone. My favourite is their cookie dough which is always served warm with generous toppings and sauce. The wakefield branch is spacious and even has a little robot that comes and brings your food which everyone loves to watch.

Would you please get someone to make the kunafe cookie dough right? There's no chocolate cookie dough and that's best bit. Not the first time this has happened, its the third.Quite pricey too at £12.99.

Great desserts and experience being delivered by a robot our grandsons birthday treat we all really enjoyed it. Ordered enough to feed an army though and there was only 3 if us 😄 can definitely recommend

We always order from just eat but the desserts are always lovey. The cake milkshakes are very sweet and the waffles are very rich and tasty. May i say the delivery drivers are always friendly and service is outstanding. Very kind and always have time for you. Really would Highly recommend trying them. Price is extremly great for what you get.

You have to park in the multi storey and walk a few minutes. Also wait time can be abit long... but maybe i just went on a busy weekend.

One of the best local afternoon teas I’ve had. The staff were friendly, polite and extremely attentive to customers and the afternoon tea was delicious - evidently made with so much care. There was a wide selection of savoury items as well as sweet, each item was of great quality and you even got unlimited tea or coffee. Some of the savoury items were hot and the scone was warm which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be coming again!

Absolutely gorgeous cafe (that's dog friendly !) so beautifully decorated, and everything (plates, napkins, even the decor in the loo!) was in keeping with the pink theme. Today was our first visit, and most certainly won't be our last. My Mum and I shared a festive afternoon tea for her birthday treat and all I can say is wow! Everything was absolutely devine 😋 . We had 3 layers of gorgeous food. The bottom layer was : Smoked salmon & cream cheese s/wiches. Turkey, stuffing & cranberry sauce s/wiches Wensleydale cheese & cranberry s/wiches. & Roast ham & Yorkshire chutney on a brioche bun. Sausage roll, pork pie, pigs in blankets & mini stilton & caramelised onion quiche plus salad. The second layer was : Christmas tree brownie Mini Clementine posset Gingerbread snowflake biscuit Mince pies Mini candy cane, chocolate coins, 2 festive Santa & snowman chocolates & mini crackers. The third layer was: 2 fruit scones with clotted cream & jam & strawberries. Served with as much tea (or coffee) as you could drink & 2 Xmas crackers. Plus we were given some water & a bowl of dog biscuits for our pooch too. Cannot complain whatsoever, and hopefully it won't be too long before we visit again. Thank you so much ladies! Xx

Called in for coffee and cake with my Husband. We ordered an Americano, Cappuccino, Biscoff Bundt cake and Spiced ginger slice. Best Cappuccino I've had in ages. Drinks were large and nice and hot. Both cakes were delicious. Place was very clean and both staff members were very friendly. Excellent value for money too. Don't live local but would certainly return if in the area and would definitely recommend.

Visited for my friends 30th birthday. We had their afternoon tea, it was absolutely delicious and perfect. We weren’t rushed at all and staff allowed me to take the cupcake away that I couldnt finish. Took a trip out with the grandkids for a treat. They love this place. As soon as you walk in the sugar smell is incredible. The outfit at Birstall is fabulous, here you can see the magic happen. There are huge viewing windows which the kids love to sit at and watch the staff work their magic. The production lines were running full pelt when we arrived. It was great to watch the staff working to produce these sweet treats. Lots of tables to sit and chill. It takes the grandkids ages to choose from the dozens of available donuts. The staff member was great, really patient despite the queue growing by the second I’m not personally a fan, far too much sugar for me. The coffee is great though. Coffee and donuts…. What a concept. Winner winner This place is always busy.

Staff is attentive quick and friendly. Some more assistance such as offering to explain more on the varieties and ingredients and help in selecting a donut would be better. So 4/5 Store itself is spacious and had a good vibe to it. It was really exciting to watch the live preparation of donuts. Especially the glazing process. Overall an experience worth repeating.

Never thought there was a shop for Krispy Kreme doughnuts just thought it was little stalls in shopping centres and I’m so happy I found this place! Staff are friendly, clean and tidy inside. There’s a drive through or you can go in. Best thing is you can see doughnuts being made, proved, fried and glazed!

MY son love this place, as it is a 'Manufacture/Making' store it is almost like a mini day out. He loves to come and watch the donuts go through the proover and then get cooked and flipped then iced and decorated. The nice window seats near the kitchen are great and the staff very child friendly. They have a colouring corner and he loves his picture going on the wall. The coffee and milkshake are great and the donuts a special treat. It is a nice alternative to other coffee outlets and a nice place to go to with the children or stop off at after football or a day out. BTW you can enjoy it without the kids and have as much fun if not more - the hardest part is choosing what to have

Went for the first time today with our 3 kids to take advantage of the free birthday doughnut and we absolutely loved it. We got a box of 12 different flavours and the kids loved trying every single one. The viewing windows were a great addition, we enjoyed watching the doughnut making process and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again!!

We had to bob in after our film and had to have a look around. The inside is clean and well presented and has very good thememing with round tables and round windows to watch the donuts been made. We bought a box of 6 and it only cos 10.85 and was totally worth it the kids loved them and I got my favourite flavour. The staff were very friendly and quick to deal with our order and made our visit very enjoyable. Will definitely go again.

Today me, my son, and a couple of friends met for coffee and doughnuts at Krispy Creme in Birstal. This is something we do once a month or so. Today, when we arrived, my son said he needed to use the toilet. However, the toilet was in such a disgusting state that my 8 year old refused to use it. The viewing windows to watch the doughnuts being made were so dirty both inside the glass and outside it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in days. Staff making fresh doughnuts without wearing gloves and what topped it off was seeing the state of the floor at the back of the machines (which looks accessible for cleaning), this turned my stomach. This was not a mess that looked to have been done today. This has been neglected for some time, if we had seen the extent of the mess prior to purchasing, none of us would have spent a penny! We have no intention of returning to this dirty store. UPDATE. After sending an email directly to krispy Kreme online along with the above pictures, they have sent me a voucher for 12 doughnuts......... this would be the last thing i will be using in this store, given they make the doughnuts for many retail stores i think i will keep well clear.

The place has potential the desserts, ice creams, and smoothies look great, and there’s a gluten free option. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot inside with no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. The tables were a bit dirty, and the biggest issue: no clear allergen information. I chose a gluten free item, but still ended up with a rash probably from nuts being nearby or cross contamination. There was no warning about this on the menu. They really need to be more transparent about allergens.

Kunafa brownie was good and with suggestion from the team added strawberries. The strawberries really balanced out the sweetness. Tried it again and the brownie by itself is a letdown. We had also ordered Fudge Cake and Custard. Such a letdown. The cake was not good and such a bad combo. We struggled to finish. Cookie dough is really good here. I once bought gelato by itself - bad choice. This was not our first time and we wanted to try new things. We got 20% student discount.

We went here as we’d been to the one in Bradford many many times so knew the food was good. The food was good but that is severely overshadowed by the state of the premises. So worn. Like embarrassingly worn. Ripped seats. Skirting boards half kissing. Broken glass in the door. We were scared to use the bathroom having seen other reviews and due to the general upkeep of the rest of the place. We were there for 30-40 minutes so we heard ‘All Too Well Taylor’s Version’ 3-4 times in a row 😂 We got the banoffee cookie dough and it was 10/10 no notes.

Very nice, good portion, affordable. Table wobbly, cutlery was mixed match but it was decent. Niruta looked after us well.

The desserts were great and service was really quick, despite it being fairly busy. The atmosphere wasn't great due to the extreme heat, very tired interior, broken windows and knackered seat covers. The mens toilet, which didn't have a cleaning sheet up and had possibly the worst stained toilet I have ever seen in a public facing businees. It wasn't dirty from a person leaving it dirty, it was dirty becuase it looked like it hasn't been scrubbed or even just bleached in a year... This made me look at why the urinal had a binbag over the top of it 🤮. Also no toilet roll ?🙄. The manager or owner of the business needs to pull their finger out and start looking back at the core basics of food and leisure.
