Scenic Walking Areas
Inokashira Park, a 95-acre city park established in 1917, offers a serene escape with its picturesque pond, boating facilities, and scenic trails. The park is renowned for its cherry blossoms, attracting crowds to admire the majestic weeping cherry blossom tree at Rikugien Garden. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely date with attractions like swan boats, temples to explore, and opportunities for picnics.
Lovely park, an oasis of tranquility in the midst of a bustling city. We were surprised by how calm and large it is. Beautifully laid out, spotless and numerous activities. The park also contains a small zoo. The lake adds to the overall serenity. You can rent a pedalo, or a rowing boat, to admire the scenery from the water. The train station is very close to an entrance, and the park is free of charge. Afterwards cross the station to find yourself in covered shopping streets. Plenty of shops and restaurants around, including in the train station.
Arjen T — Google review
Such a beautiful, tranquil park with a lake in the middle. You can even hire out different boats for half an hour from a dock (row boats, Swan pedal boats) to take across the lake. I took a pedal boats with a friend. This was such a great and fun experience. There are also a few shrines around the park, and a few streets with eateries and shops to look around if you get bored. There's also a playground for little kids. The greenery is also spectacular, especially against the backdrop of the lake. I went during June but the park was still very lush. Highly recommend this spot as a nice break from the busy Tokyo city.
Meghana G — Google review
Around 1 hour by train from Ginza to Kichijoji, you can visit this beautiful vast park. There are a lot of things you can see and do here. They have a lot of different areas, from the lakes to the playground and baseball fields. Great for picnic! There is also the Ghibli Museum here. Make sure to book your ticket in advanced as they do not receive walk-in entry (April 2025 visit).

Izakaya restaurant
Yakitori restaurant
Iseya is a long-standing, no-frills establishment that has been serving a variety of grilled skewers, draft beer, and sake since 1928. With two main branches located on Kichijoji-dori and near the entrance to Inokashira Park, it continues to offer affordable beef and chicken skewers at just 90 per stick. The venue has a rich history and its current site reflects a blend of design elements from the Showa period along with modern touches.
I love going to Iseya. The staff are friendly, fun, the food is delicious and they take pride in cooking there! I love the tsukune and corn. Extremely affordable as well, cash only. If you are more adventurous then you can have kidneys, heart, liver and chicken bum! But I stick to mince meat balls. There are two sauces, one is their secret sauce and one is white salt: タレ /塩 You find a lot of retired friendly men here who often make nice chit chat, and they start to drink from 12noon when it opens, it's like a local favorite you go to eat and drink any day of the week and you can start from noon! If you stand outside, you do end up smelling like charcoal which is part of the fun!
DancewithDiana — Google review
This place is all about the vibes. They've been around for almost 100 years, and now have three locations around Kichijoji. If you eat here, you will smell like smoke 🤣 The environment here is boisterous and fun, it's a place locals love. There are seats upstairs as well, but make sure you make reservations in advance. I've come here many times, usually you can wait a little bit and be seated downstairs.
Paul Y — Google review
This place is a time capsule: one of those izakayas that feels like it’s been marinating in smoke, laughter & charcoal since the Shōwa era. The grill action here is real: skewers sizzling over open charcoal, staff working fast, cool as ice & a room so smoky you’ll think you’ve been dry-aged by the time you leave. The yakitori? Solid, nothing revolutionary, but hits the spot after a day wandering Kichijoji. Drinks are cold, cheap & come quick. The vibe is buzzy & unapologetic...this is not a polished, Instagrammable izakaya, it’s the real deal. A couple things to note: it’s cash only, so bring yen, not excuses. And prepare to shower afterward unless you want to smell like a grilled skewer on the Chūō Line home. Would I go again? Yeah, with the right crew. Iseya isn’t about perfection...it’s about atmosphere. And in that smoky chaos, it delivers.
Jim R — Google review
One of famous yakitori izakaya in Tokyo, where served us shumai, ill n Nikomi etc. awesome.
Rick I — Google review
This is a traditional Japanese Izakaya. Some of the skewers foreigners might baulk at, but be adventurous, they are very tasty done on the charcoal grill. As you get close to the place the smoke and the ambiance just draws you in. There is an English menu and the staff are friendly. I have gone with friends and also on my own and always had a good time. You can also stand by the charcoal grill and eat too.
Donal D — Google review
This place was great. A bit hesitant to go in as it looked like locals only, but the everything was great and they had an English menu to assist with ordering. It was a bit smoky so that's something to keep in mind if you have respiratory issues. The restaurant is cash only. Great food, service and atmosphere at a very generous price.
Bridger — Google review
This ancient little shop in Kichijoji is one of my recent favorite places to visit. Here, you can truly immerse yourself in the essence of everyday life. Everything here is so unpretentious, with affordable prices and a rustic charm that exudes deliciousness. Don't expect fancy cuisine here because it's not a high-end restaurant, but it's precisely this simplicity and authenticity that form an integral part of the lifestyle of the common people. After a long day's work, I always come here, order a cold beer, and indulge in mouthwatering meats. This experience is unparalleled and truly allows you to become a part of this community. Lastly, a word of caution: even though the barbecue chef here is incredibly skilled, don't attempt to take his picture, as he can be a bit temperamental. However, this is also a part of the unique charm of this place because here, you can feel the genuine, natural ambiance of life, as if you've escaped the hustle and bustle of the city for a peaceful retreat.
Golucci — Google review
Food is very delicious. Absolutely love the grill corn. Various grill meat (chicken m pork.. ) also delicious. The shop has the atmosphere of japanese local restaurant.

SubLime Kichijōji Inokashira Park is a trendy izakaya-style restaurant nestled within Tokyo's picturesque Inokashira Park. The dining space offers stunning views of cherry blossoms through its large windows, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious and innovative Japanese cuisine. Whether you're exploring the park or simply in need of a break, SubLime provides a welcoming environment for both lunch and dinner.
This was... actually fantastic. In such a touristy spot I expect high prices and not such good food and atmosphere, but I was very pleasantly surprised! I don't give 5 stars lightly but this left me very impressed. First off, food was fantastic and there were some really interesting beers to try! Everything was very tasty, and the atmosphere was cheery and good fun! And the prices really weren't bad at all! I run past here a lot and I always think "wow, I should go there some time, but it's probably too expensive"... well, I gave it a try whilst meeting with my partner today, and though it is more expensive than I'd normally pay for a meal, it wasn't bad at all for what we got! As for the service, I honestly wish I could give 6 stars! Since moving to this country I've really learned to tell the difference between people talking to us in English in a patronising way and people just genuinely wanting to make things easier for us, and the staff here really seemed like the latter! Which is... sadly rare 😅 we will speak English to each other, and then Japanese to the staff, but they always tried to speak English to us and would Google translate and read things they didn't know! It was really welcoming to see them trying to accommodate us. They were super friendly and super helpful, and we felt completely welcomed there. Overall it was an absolutely lovely experience, and we are absolutely coming back here again some time!

Fantastic izakaya in a scenic spot overlooking the lake in Inokashira Park. The food was delicious especially the salmon and roe rice, and the snapper with kombu rice. Takes 40min-ish, but well worth it. Also had the Ebi mayo and the prawns were huge! The Dashi-tamagoyaki and chiken namban were also amazing as well. The seating was wonderful and comfortable, and we had a baby and they were able to accomodate us which was very nice of them. Service was great and friendly.

Favourite izakaya in town 🥰 great views of the park, mouthwatering delicious food 🤤 and amazing service 👌✨

The Drinks were great, as was the atmosphere. The staff was extremely accommodating as well. For example, one of my friends doesn't drink alcohol, so instead of forcing him to pay the regular All you can drink price, he paid half for all you can drink soft-drinks. Also, they made me white russians :)
Brian P — Google review
One of my favorite hidden places in Tokyo. Karage or ikura donburi are really good. At lunch time you have a set with tofu, salad, miso and tsukemono. Evening is a la carte but the prices still a good deal. Great view to the Inokashira pond. Reservation required during sakura season !

Boulangerie Bistro Epee is a cozy French bistro in Tokyo that offers classic French cuisine, along with a variety of bread and pastries from its in-house bakery. The staff is known for being friendly and helpful, and the management is highly regarded. Customers rave about the delicious pastries, particularly the Kouign Amann, and the quality of the bread, which is available as an all-you-can-eat option for lunch.
I highly recommend this cafe/pastry to all visitors. All breads are super delicious. Every pastry has its unique taste and nothing would disappoint you. More importantly, the staff in this cafe are extremely patient and friendly. Absolutely five star cafe in Tokyo!
Nan Y — Google review
The bread is really delicious, and my child is absolutely in love with the brioche cubes filled with cream and raspberries. Some of the staff’s attitude is a bit snooty, though. I couldn’t tell if they truly were booked up for lunch (when I asked about sitting at 950am and I could see open tables), or if they just didn’t want a child in the dining room. Bakery is great for choosing some baked goods and taking to the park to eat, though!

Stopped by for a fancy dinner with long-distance friends. The atmosphere was nice. The bread was amazing, but considering the price I wouldn’t say the food is worthy.

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Kichijoji, Momokichi is a must-visit for chicken lovers and veggie enthusiasts alike. This charming eatery specializes in delectable chicken dishes, with "momo" meaning chicken thigh—a nod to their focus on this flavorful cut. What sets Momokichi apart is its commitment to fresh, high-quality vegetables sourced from local farms, showcased beautifully in their vegetable sashimi platter.
I had an amazing dining experience. The food, especially the grilled chicken and onigiri, was out of this world. Thank you for explaining how to eat it properly. I loved watching the chef prepare the food in the open kitchen. The chef is so cute and friendly! Also, so clean and stylish interior. I want to come again:)

Grilled Chicken Set Lunch 🍗🔥@momokichi.gf Famous for its chicken dishes, Momokichi in Kichijoji had a complete renovation in April of this year. This means it now has a modern wooden interior with plenty of light, but the super friendly staff, great food & welcoming atmosphere remain the same. 👨🏻‍🍳☺️ At lunch time a number of set menus featuring their renowned Japanese grilled chicken are available - you can choose from young / adult chicken, thigh / breast meat and they also have weekly specials. 🍽 I chose a mix of their signature young thigh meat with half of it coated in Tom Mayo sauce a collaboration menu item from my favorite Thai restaurant in Kichijoji - Amrita Shokudo (@amritashokudou). I added broccoli topping for even more nutrition. 🥦 All lunch sets come with miso soup, rice & a small dish (today's was stir-fried Chinese water spinach). The dipping sauce for my broccoli was celery & onion, and there was a serving of pakchi to go with the Tom Mayo chicken. 🍚🥣🥗🌿 While waiting for my order, I studied the various sauces & spices available for flavoring the chicken. Spicy miso is the standard, but there is also curry powder, chilli, Szechuan pepper & duqqa spices. 🌶 The chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful, the cabbage dipped in spicy miso was lovely but my favorite spice combination was Tom Mayo sauce, duqqa spice smeared on the chicken and then wrapped in pakchi leaves - absolutely heavenly! 🤤 If you are looking for a great value chicken lunch in the Kichijoji area, then Momokichi is highly recommended. They have a much wider menu of different items in the evening, so also worth checking out.

Just another great place in Kichijoji. Their specialty is chicken and there’s even supposed to be a way to enjoy it even more than I did. The staff is very nice and most items on the menu are less than ¥1000. Went on a Friday before 12 and by the time I left it was almost full, without being any line outside yet. Izakaya restaurant
Uo Hide is a charming izakaya located just a short walk from Kichijoji Station. The owner takes pride in sourcing high-quality seasonal fish, often personally visiting fishing grounds to ensure the freshest ingredients for their dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant evokes the feeling of being in an authentic izakaya in Aomori, with its open grill and traditional decor.
Looks like a little hole-in-the-wall, literally! You duck under a 1 meter door into a sunken room with tight seating around a busy little izekaya kitchen. The seafood is fabulous and good sake choices to pair with it. 70s Japanese hits is the music theme. Great vibe. Only disappointment is 1 choice for draft beer. Service was excellent. No English menu so Google translate is your friend if you can't read Japanese.

Feels like you're in an actual izakaya in Aomori. From the door to the open grill to the decor, it really feels like you've stepped into another world. The fish was super fresh and perfectly cooked (or perfectly raw). Some of the best sashimi I've had in Tokyo, definitely a great value. The service was great, our waiter seemed to be having fun and was very talkative. The tables are a bit cramped. But all the customers were really having fun so the atmosphere was great.
Neill W — Google review
Since there isn’t an English menu, we got the server to recommend everything for us. Every dish that came was absolutely delicious. Especially the grilled fish on skewer. It was the best grilled fish I have ever eaten. The crab was tasty but as a singaporean, we love crab cooked very differently from how Japanese do it. Not only did I enjoy the meal, the alcohol they served were good, the ambience and experience were interesting for a tourist too.

Took me a minute to find the entrance, I thought the little door was back door / deco. Turns out it was the main entrance. A small shop but great atmosphere and food. BAR&KITCHEN Funky is a stylish and comfortable European-inspired bar and kitchen in Kichijoji. The upstairs bar offers a sleek, dark ambiance with a beautiful bar and great food from the restaurant downstairs. While it may not have funky music, it's perfect for late-night wind-down vibes. The place offers sublime creations, tasty jazz tunes, and an excellent beverage selection. It's ideal for chilling on a rainy day or decompressing from city noise.
Loved the atmosphere so much. We came for drinks. Foreigner friendly and waitress spoke very good English. The jazz music was perfect with an ice cold highball.

We were met by an incredibly rude waiter, who spoke softly to us in Japanese, gave us no chance to respond and then rolled her eyes and walked away from us without even trying to be polite. I understand a small amount of Japanese, and would've understood if she had said 'chotto matte' while she got her English-speaking colleague. The interaction made us feel very unwelcome. I don't recommend this place if you cannot speak Japanese.
Safia M — Google review
Sublime creations in an interesting setting pairing with tasty jazz tunes and slightly overpriced meat dishes, but oh well worth it for once in a while. Sad that this makes it rather hard to make it a more casual visit.

Went here for a drink at my wife's birthday. Owner was hostile from start to finish. Got waved away when coming up to the counter trying to pay. Wine came in a very dirty glass. When we tried to bring things up, even discreetly not to bother others, staff acted very dismissive. Owner could clearly not be bothered and he was quick to work us out the door. This might be a good place if you're a regular but they clearly don't want people to just walk in. Make sure to avoid.

The intimate space can accommodate around 10-20 people and features a grand piano that sets the stage for captivating live performances. (Translated by Google) As of 2024, both free wifi and cashless payments are available. The location is not in a winding back alley, but on the first basement floor of a building next to a straight road, so I think it's pretty easy to find. I don't mind the two-order system, but as others have mentioned, the drinks are expensive, so I'm wondering if I can get by with the minimum order. I think the food is delicious, but please be aware that the menu (appetizers) is limited depending on the day. At best, it's small, and at worst, it's a small store, but the sound is good because you can hear the grand piano up close. Depending on where you sit, instruments that pass through speakers can make your ears feel... I don't know whether it was coming from the toilet or the kitchen, but I couldn't help but hear the sound from the flush or the ventilation fan, which I really hated.

Mitakadai Station has recently undergone a refreshing renovation, making it noticeably cleaner and more modern. A new elevator for vehicles has been added at the north exit, enhancing accessibility. However, the pedestrian bridge retains its nostalgic charm from the Showa era, offering a glimpse into the past. Notably, there's beautiful stained glass just beyond the ticket gate that reflects its proximity to Rikkyo Jogakuin, suggesting a thoughtful design connection.
(Translated by Google) Mitakadai is the least crowded between Kugayama and Kichijoji, and has recently been equipped with platform doors and a well-maintained bus rotary, making it a convenient area. There are two convenience stores nearby (there used to be another 7-Eleven up the hill towards Mitakadai Danchi), Odakyu Ox, Matsukiyo, etc., so you won't have any trouble shopping, and I think it's quite convenient. In addition to the shops, Rikkyo Jogakuin is nearby, and you can see a lot of students there during the morning rush hour and when they're heading home. On the train side, only local trains on the Keio Inokashira Line stop here. Therefore, there are about 8-minute intervals. I think that's enough frequency for this type of station. The main buses are Mitaka City Bus (towards Chofu Airport, etc.) and Odakyu Bus to Sengawa Station, both of which run infrequently, and are community minibuses. In addition, there seems to be an electric bus that was just built a few years ago that can go all the way to Meiseigakuenmae. I personally recommend living in this area because you won't feel too inconvenienced and the streets are peaceful. (Translated by Google) It's usually a quiet, clean, and very nice station. However, there are certain times when it can be dangerous, so please be careful. These are the times when students are going home from school. Normally, it starts after 3pm, but in April and May it can be before noon (when first-year students are there), and during long holidays like summer vacation, the danger levels can vary. First, the girls leave school, talking loudly, forming a giant snake-like procession, and enter the station over the overpass outside. They block the ticket gates for the same width, so you can't exit the platform until the line calms down. They then continue down the stairs in the same line. If it looks like a train is coming, they call out to their friends, "It's coming! Hurry!" and run down the stairs. They're like muddy water flowing into an underground passage. While waiting on the platform, younger elementary school students chase each other like they would in a playground, and it's not uncommon for them to run through an obstacle course through the waiting room, so you can't let your guard down even when you're sitting down. But occasionally, when their parents are with them, they behave very well, like true young ladies, and it's a truly heartwarming sight. However, one would think that a young lady like her would not use the train but would be picked up and dropped off in a car with a driver, so perhaps this is a kind of education that allows her to experience the world of the common people. Personally, I worry that one day, this station, which is mostly used by elderly people outside of morning and evening rush hours, might become a victim and leave a stain on their illustrious lives. Of course, since their parents have power and money, perhaps commoners don't need to worry. And since the station staff would be outnumbered and would be unable to do anything, commoner users have no choice but to protect themselves. Oh, and there's no point in complaining to the school, as they'll just treat you like a complainer. I've lived here for over half a century and know many alumni, so I had a good impression of it, but I never imagined that it would have created such a lawless zone and that the school would just let it go. It's truly disappointing, with tradition and religion to no avail. Harmonica Yokocho is a charming alleyway area in Kichijoji, Tokyo, known for its narrow and tightly packed streets resembling harmonica reeds. During the day, visitors can explore interesting stores offering a mix of USA-branded bag gear, denim, and trendy clothing. The area is perfect for finding unique souvenirs to take back home.
Lots of bars and restaurant options in the area. Had a great time walking through here. If you are in the area I definitely recommend for a night out. Many of the spots in this area are foreigner friendly. You can sit at once of the bars and have your own little slice of Tokyo

A quaint area of the city but way over-priced, low-quality food & not what I’d call typical izakaya service. We have eaten at many establishments & never once queried the prices we paid. At Harmonica Yokocho we left after just 40 minutes with a bill of $55 NZD (¥5,000). That was for 2 mushrooms, 1 tiny but delish lamb chip and 5 gyoza. The other 3 eateries we entered prior, smelled really bad, had many smokers inside (which we were happy to put up with for a great experience), and the same menu. All 4 establishments dotted across the street were owned by the same japanese man. I would recommend the yokocho (near Shinjuku Station, and Golden Gai.)

Stumbling into here felt like walking straight into the heartbeat of Kichijōji. What started as “let’s just grab one drink” quickly turned into a full-blown izakaya crawl through lantern-lit alleys, each corner revealing another packed little bar or smoky grill. At one point, I found myself squeezed between a pair of salarymen passionately arguing about baseball & a couple of students trying to out-sing each other’s karaoke hits spilling out from the next stall. By the second bar, a friendly chef handed me a plate of sizzling yakitori & shouted “kanpai!” like we’d known each other for years. By the third, I was toasting highballs with complete strangers who insisted I try their favorite snack. It’s chaotic, cramped & completely alive...like Tokyo shrunk down to one buzzing alleyway. If you’re looking for polished, keep walking. But if you want a night where you can’t predict where you’ll end up...or who you’ll be drinking with...this place delivers in spades. Pro tip: don’t plan an early morning the next day. Trust me.

(Translated by Google) [The story of men's alley that started with taiyaki] ── Kichijoji Harmonica Alley, Sunday Afternoon Story Sunday afternoon at the north exit of Kichijoji Station. As soon as I started walking through the crowd, the atmosphere changed. Harmonica Alley is a world where you can step into a world just one step away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The remains of the Showa era, the intoxicating atmosphere, and the laughter of strangers. Among them, there were four men. One by one, they were sucked into the street. The eternal debate of “Where are we going?” "Standing bar? I want to sit down." "At least skewers..." “But it’s crowded.” “Let’s go a little deeper.” It's not like someone decides, and it's not like I'm at a loss. We all know that this "no-plan exploration" is the most fun. “Do you want to eat taiyaki?” Suddenly, that voice came out. I thought it was a joke, but no one laughed. In fact, that choice made me feel a little more relaxed as an adult. And where I headed was... 🐟Famous Taiyaki restaurant “Amane” This long-established store is located near the entrance to Harmonica Alley, and there is always a long line of people. That is "Amane". When I picked up the taiyaki wrapped in washi paper, it felt quite heavy. The red bean paste is made from Hokkaido red beans, and the skin is thin and fragrant, and the sweetness is packed right down to the tip of the tail. "There...!" "But this is dangerous." "It's delicious." "Taiyaki at this time is the right choice." It's not a skewer. Not even beer. An afternoon of taiyaki with four guys. A little bit of sweetness and tranquility blended into the atmosphere of the alley. The time stopped one step short of afternoon The taiyaki goes into your stomach in no time. However, time strangely did not move forward. Not drinking, not rushing to the next thing, There was a time "in between" that was different from the hustle and bustle in front of the station. “In the end, this is what I remember the most.” Those words just leaked out of someone's mouth. A day where there are no correct answers but “blank spaces” I didn't have any plans for this day, but The sweetness, the laughter, and the slight smell of smoke remain in my memory. Another time, on my way home. “Amane, are you coming over?” If someone said that, I'm sure everyone would laugh. (Translated by Google) As expected, Kichijoji is ranked number one on the list of places to live along the Chuo Line, as the Narita Express once stopped there. It's so crowded that it could be called the second city center. From the south exit, go past Marui and down the slope to reach Inokashira Park, which is a symbol of Kichijoji. When I was a kid, I used to go there to play on the swings and have a lot of fun. Of course, there are shops lined up in front of the station. Diamond Street, which was on the verge of collapse due to COVID-19 at one point, has now regained its vitality. I recommend a Niigata sauce cutlet bowl restaurant located just outside the south exit, heading towards Mitaka along the road where the buses come in. It's seriously divine. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. My favorite line, the Keio Inokashira Line, also runs through here, and it seems to be a popular spot for train photographers. The basic schedule is that express trains depart from platform 1 and local trains depart from platform 2. It's a little disappointing that there are no benches, but the toilets are clean and have a nice roof. However, even now, Chuo Line Rapid and Special Rapid trains pass through the narrow platform at breakneck speed, despite the large number of people on board. It's just too dangerous, so I think that now that Green Cars have been added, they should quickly install platform doors as a priority. If you don't like crowded places, be sure to head to Inokashira Park. There are many areas with fewer people. Record player and vinyl on my table, but the music is coming from somewhere else. Also posted for smoking and rather a heavy atmosphere. The no smoking place nearby was full, so that's why I tried it. Wi-Fi and charging available. Weekends tend to be busy around here. There's actually a little sign on the table that seems to say they may nudge you out if they get too crowded. Live music bar
Located on the 52nd floor of the iconic Park Hyatt Tokyo, the New York Bar is a must-visit spot for travelers. Made famous by its appearance in Lost in Translation, this bar offers a cosmopolitan atmosphere reminiscent of New York City. Guests can enjoy live jazz performances while sipping on premium whiskies and classic or original cocktails. With bilingual staff and stunning views, it's an ideal place to kick off your Tokyo experience.
Lost in translation. If you’re looking to visit because the movie left you wanting more, this will scratch that itch. The hotel and scenes from the movie are also still identical, from the entrance, lobbies and bar there will be a familiarity that you just can’t shake. We went late in the evening and it was a good choice since we were pleasantly surprised that they had a live band and also a phenomenal singer that brought the evening to a close. The service was good however not above what you would expect from a higher end establishment. However, The drinks and atmosphere made up for it. Note: There is a cover charge and there might be a bit of a wait if you did not make reservations however they were good at accommodating us without. While you wait there are great views.

One of the best experiences I had in Japan. Staff speaks very good English, the food is great and the view and atmosphere in this place is amazing. You can go there as a group/couple and have one of the tables for yourself and spend the evening all by yourself or even go there alone and strike up some conversation at the counter. They also have live jazz music everyday which is really great. It was quite expensive though. For one evening I spend around 100€ which included 3 drinks main dish and dessert. I also had to pay like 15€ as table fee since I was not a hotel guest.
Pascal — Google review
Easily lives up to the hype if you're a Lost in Translation fan! There's a cover fee once the evening jazz performance starts, but it is well worth it. The drinks are solid but everyone is there for the music/views. Some reviews note that it's hard to get to. It's really not - just go up to the 41st floor and make your way down the hallway and you'll see signs for the next elevator bank.
Gaurav B — Google review
American experience inside of Tokyo. Beware of the entry price, around ¥2500 just to get in (unless you are a hotel guest). Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it cool to experience? Also yes. If you are in for a special treat for yourself or if you just have the means to check if out, I recommend. The staff is only friendly until they realise you are not gonna drop hundreds of euros there. The cocktails were nice, my friend had a burger which she enjoyed and I had a Pavlova dessert that was good enough, although I'm not a big fan of eating gold leaf, but that's personal choice. The live music was good, sometimes a bit too loud but the musicians seemed to be enjoying themselves. You are definitely paying for the place and it's history but the view is incredible. It's also far from public transportation so be ready to walk or ride a cab.
Julia M — Google review
Went there with my wife for our last night in Tokyo. Had an amazing time with the great jazz music and the delicious food and drinks. Not to mention the outstanding view of Tokyo. Wait on a Friday night wasn’t bad at all, around 20-30 min (we got there at about 7:30PM). Highly recommend this place!

Went up at 5pm to have a drink in the famous lost in translation bar! Absolutely stunning sunset visible, we got lucky enough to see Fuji. Drinks were great. We had a negroni and a dark & stormy. No cover charge if you leave before 6:30pm. They won’t let you in if you’re not wearing trousers - tho wearing sneakers/trainers is fine. The service was a little bit slow - especially to return my card towards the end. But was still wonderful.

Of course it tastes good, but when it comes to sheep, it smells, but in this case it was a taste that could be called aroma. It might be fair to say that it doesn't look like a sheep. On top of that, it is a wonderful seasoning that makes the most of the ingredients when cooking. There are some rare and delicious items, such as noble rot wine (with a very gorgeous aroma), so it's a good place to enjoy a different atmosphere from the usual when combined with the interior of the store. I had brought my own wine (which I also received an explanation of), but next time I would like to try the restaurant's recommendation... There are 7 counter seats, 4 box seats, and 1 darts table, making the floor plan not too small. As for drinks, there are quite a few different types of liqueurs, so I think if the owner knows about them, he or she can create a certain menu. Because of our location in Omori, I get the impression that many people who work in Shinagawa or Tamachi, or who live in Ota Ward or Kawasaki come here. During my recent visit to Calvet, I was reminded of the warm and inviting atmosphere that makes this place feel like home. Karaoke bar
Nestled in the heart of Mitaka, J is a charming spot that exudes warmth and nostalgia. The staff, including the talented moms, are true professionals who create an inviting atmosphere for guests. Here, you can sip on your favorite drinks while getting lost in the melodies of classic Showa-era songs. It's a cozy retreat that seems to attract an older crowd, making it a perfect place for those looking to reminisce and enjoy good company.

Bar
If you're exploring Mitaka, make sure to check out the vibrant bar scene, including a standout spot known as WATERFOWLS. This charming establishment is celebrated for its fresh fruit cocktails that are simply delightful. The secret to their deliciousness might lie in the unique ice they use, which adds an extra touch of refreshment. With a cozy atmosphere and even a TV for entertainment, it's perfect for unwinding after a long day.

(Translated by Google) A man enters the store. I ordered several drinks and they were all delicious. The seats are a low table with a counter and a large sofa large enough for adults to lie down. The interior of the store is spacious, and apart from the counter, there is also a kitchen for cooking. The master seems young, but he is used to it. He doesn't interfere too much as I like to drink quietly, and he manages to connect with the chatty female customers. I want to visit again. However, I was intrigued by his skill in getting customers to talk about their private lives. It is dangerous for a woman's personal information to be shared in a place where many people visit at night. Young people in particular tend to divulge personal information fluently due to their lack of life experience, so adults should be careful at bars. (In terms of crime prevention, it is better to be conscious about the information you ask from women, regardless of their age.)

Bar
Nestled in the heart of Mitaka, Ko’s Bar 44 is a hidden gem that offers a delightful lunch experience. The charming owner, with his long silver hair and friendly Kansai dialect, creates an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. With five types of pasta on the menu, each dish is crafted to perfection and served alongside a refreshing small salad featuring what seems to be a homemade sweet and sour dressing that tantalizes your taste buds.
(Translated by Google) The stairs at the entrance make me wonder if there really is a store, but the inside is much larger than I expected and has a great atmosphere. Although it's called a bar, it's Italian food with a focus on pasta. The Neapolitan lunch was very delicious. Iced coffee for +100 yen is also a great deal.

(Translated by Google) Visited in January 2013. A bar in Mitaka. We went there for a holiday lunch. It's a bar and multi-tenant building on the second floor, so I was a little hesitant to go, but the inside was unexpectedly spacious and open. When I entered, I thought it was a counter bar, but I never imagined there was a back area. I had grilled curry and Neapolitan tandoria. They make it after you order, so it's a simple taste, but it's hot and delicious. It's been years since I last had grilled curry, but it was a dish that was sure to burn me. It came with a salad and was only 100 yen, and with a drink, it was a great value for a holiday lunch. It was quiet and relaxing, so although it's in an inconvenient location, I think it's a hidden gem. I'd like to visit again if I get the chance.

(Translated by Google) I ordered a large serving of pasta for 800 yen + 200 yen to get motivated for the day. First, a salad is served, which is quite good. It comes with semi-dried tomatoes and the dressing is delicious. The pasta is bacon and mushroom peperoncino. It's juicy, like soup pasta, and the noodles are soft. The softness of the noodles is similar to Saizeriya, but I prefer them boiled harder. I liked that it had a lot of mushrooms in it. Even if it's a large serving, it's not that much. Probably 150g before boiling or not. Overall, is it worth the price? I would like to try other menu items if I feel like it. Drinks are included for 100 yen, so I think it's good for people who want to drink coffee after their meal. At lunchtime, there were no ashtrays and no one was smoking, but it smelled a bit like cigarettes. I think it's better to ventilate. Payment is by cash only.

(Translated by Google) The master is very friendly and easy to talk to, making it a store you'll want to come back to again. I think we have done a good job of not raising prices until now. Recently, the price has finally increased, and the price of pasta has increased from 800 yen to 900 yen. The price of curry on weekends has also increased by an additional 100 yen. I think the pasta is very delicious and tasted professionally. It also comes with a salad, and the dressing is homemade and very delicious. They also give you chocolate as a service. For an additional 100 yen, you can get bread, but since it's just one of the 6-piece breads that are often sold at supermarkets, I thought there was no need to order. The curry didn't taste much different from making it at home. Smoking is apparently prohibited inside the store, but there are times when it smells like cigarettes. It seemed like the smell was coming down the stairs from the upper floor. The interior of the store had a calm atmosphere, was spacious, and the customer base seemed to be mostly female.

(Translated by Google) Thank you for taking care of me for lunch. The master is a cool man with long silver hair and a touch of Kansai dialect. There are always 5 types of pasta available and they are all delicious! Every pasta lunch comes with a small salad. I wonder if the dressing is homemade too. Sweet and sour, it increases your appetite! You can scale it up to a large serving for 200 yen. After-meal coffee is 100 yen☆☆! You can't help but want to ask, "Oh, are you okay?" Are there any shops like that in Tokyo these days? It's so spacious inside! It's spacious enough for private parties. (Please ask the master if they accept it) When I went there the other day, I unusually didn't call out "large size!" Then, after I finished eating, the master quietly approached me and said, ``What's wrong? You're worried, aren't you?'' I felt very kindly that you told me this not when ordering, but after you finished eating (tears) Master, next time I'll definitely call you a large portion (lol) I'm always cheered up. Thank you! By the way, this shop. It's an Italian restaurant during the day, but at night it transforms into a cool bar! The master wears white clothes during the day, but at night he appears in a completely different atmosphere! Everyone is welcome to visit both during the day and at night. Both are recommended!
