Lovely park, an oasis of tranquility in the midst of a bustling city. We were surprised by how calm and large it is. Beautifully laid out, spotless and numerous activities. The park also contains a small zoo. The lake adds to the overall serenity. You can rent a pedalo, or a rowing boat, to admire the scenery from the water. The train station is very close to an entrance, and the park is free of charge. Afterwards cross the station to find yourself in covered shopping streets. Plenty of shops and restaurants around, including in the train station.

I took a pedal boats with a friend. This was such a great and fun experience. There are also a few shrines around the park, and a few streets with eateries and shops to look around if you get bored. Super cute park! The leaves were falling from the trees when we visited, which made for a truly magical sight. There is a lake in the middle that you can paddle in or ride a duck boat. Walking paths surrounding it, along with children's play area and bridges along the way. Cafes and restaurants dotted along the path as well. Not so crowded - come for a relaxing time in a beautiful place!

Purposely visited this park because of Persona 5 Royal. It looks the same as the game! The park is also near Studio Ghibli museum. around 5-10 minutes by walking from the nearest station.

Iseya isn’t about perfection...it’s about atmosphere. And in that smoky chaos, it delivers.

As you get close to the place the smoke and the ambiance just draws you in. There is an English menu and the staff are friendly. I have gone with friends and also on my own and always had a good time. You can also stand by the charcoal grill and eat too.

At Harmonica Yokocho we left after just 40 minutes with a bill of $55 NZD (¥5,000). That was for 2 mushrooms, 1 tiny but delish lamb chip and 5 gyoza. The other 3 eateries we entered prior, smelled really bad, had many smokers inside (which we were happy to put up with for a great experience), and the same menu. All 4 establishments dotted across the street were owned by the same japanese man. I would recommend the yokocho (near Shinjuku Station, and Golden Gai.)

Fantastic izakaya in a scenic spot overlooking the lake in Inokashira Park. The food was delicious especially the salmon and roe rice, and the snapper with kombu rice. Takes 40min-ish, but well worth it. Also had the Ebi mayo and the prawns were huge! The Dashi-tamagoyaki and chiken namban were also amazing as well. The seating was wonderful and comfortable, and we had a baby and they were able to accomodate us which was very nice of them. Service was great and friendly.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Had grilled mackerel and sushi which was very tasty.

Nice to have a walk especially when it’s sunny. There are mace cafes to have tea or food so you can keep yourself warm even in winter.

For example, one of my friends doesn't drink alcohol, so instead of forcing him to pay the regular All you can drink price, he paid half for all you can drink soft-drinks. One of my favorite hidden places in Tokyo. Karage or ikura donburi are really good. At lunch time you have a set with tofu, salad, miso and tsukemono. Evening is a la carte but the prices still a good deal. Great view to the Inokashira pond. Reservation required during sakura season !

We sometimes go to this burger restaurant when we are in Kichijoji. Their burgers are quite flavourful and of good quality among the burger restaurants in the area. I added cheese to the normal burger and went with some fried potatoes. What I liked about their fried potatoes was that they were made of real potatoes. Good texture and appropriately seasoned. There were many drinks on the menu as well.

Burger place not far from Kichijoji station. I saw the same shop in Shimo Kitazawe as well. People here are really nice. Unfortunately the burger didn’t really do it for me. The bacon was hardly cooked and the raw onion was almost as big a the bun. Quality was fine. Don’t get me wrong. But it‘s just not my kind of burger. I prefer smash. This one was the opposite of a minimalist smash burger.

I love the interior feel of this place. They attempt to re-create a Western diner with Americana pieces, which sometimes feels a little cheesy, but I think it's endearing. Overall, still feels warm/inviting. The burger itself was good and massive, but for some reason doesn't still capture an American burger exactly the same way. I think the price was also a little steep too. But still worth coming back!

There was a queue all the way to the street but I could a get counter seat quickly, being alone. I got the avocado cheese single burger. I felt it was a good quality burger with subtle taste. There is no secret sauce or strong-taste patty but the ingredients come out well together without any being overwhelming. The potatoes push the subtlety a bit too far though and were rather bland, I had to add salt. The portion was rather small for the 2,020 yen price tag, I didn't really feel full. Edit: on my second visit, I tried the chili cheese burger which was more enjoyable, tasty and juicy, yet even more expensive, it could be 5 stars if it was a better value.

The restaurant itself is nice and the atmosphere is great but... The burgers were nothing great. I got the cheddar pepper which is their number one item, it was kind of bland. They had good waffle fries though. Definitely worth checking out at least once if youre in the Kichijouji area but in my experience it's just meh.

If you love street food with a unique concept, this place is for you. The menu is not for the fragile bellies as the sandwiches are really tasty and BIG (highly recommended for big eaters) It's better to take it on the go, but you can also eat inside with a particular setting: wall brick stairs (no tables). They were short on some stock, so better to come between noon and 1pm.

What a great place for Yakitori. We had their special lunch set, which was excellent! The quality of the food is very high, especially the yakitori (gilled chicken skewers). Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Is was different. Not that it was bad. As an American you get the original KFC and get used to it. While this was good, it was not KFC as I knew it. Best way to describe it is that it was familiar but not familiar. We had a good time, if you didn't think of it as KFC then it was good chicken. Language barrier was a real problem here.
