3 stars means ok. The crispy Calamari is ok. There are a couple of pieces that stick together by the batter. So it is just ok. The Caesar salad is ok. We ordered the 18 Oz prime ribs to share, and they split the order into 2 plates. The prime ribs are ok. It is medium rare, which is what i ordered. But the spices are really strong on the skin. It is very very salty. The funny thing is that I ordered the double baked potato as side. They really split the baked potato into 2. Yes, that is the order. But how much is a baked potato without any topping? $2. Yes, that is what they entitle to do. If I am the waiter, I will give a full potato for each plate so I can have a chance to receive bigger tips. ........ but the worst is the lighting. They put us into the corner, the far end of the restaurant. The lighting is so dark that it is like eating in the darkroom. The overall keg experience at Vaughn Mill is subpar compared to other kegs in the Toronto area.

I feel like the Keg never disappoints. I’ve been to different locations and each time I’ve had a good experience with no complaints whatsoever. When I went this time it was no different. The foods were really good the staff were all very nice and friendly and overall really good atmosphere to talk and have gatherings. It’s a really good restaurant for celebrations there were at least 4 people having their birthdays when I went.

Busy location but the the front staff within the 20 min window. Our server was fast, courteous and attentive. Food was ok not the best from the keg but still good.

They serve hot bread with butter which is always appreciated when a restaurant offers that. We had the fried calamari. It was good and crispy, can’t really go wrong with that. For the mains, we got the top sirloin which was delicious, and the peppercorn new york, which had way too much pepper for my taste. The pepper was burnt and left an un-desiring taste, also that steak was more of a medium well than a medium rare. The server was kind and very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She even offered us the signature cake which was yum!

We come here once in a while when we’re craving steak. The steak quality is still very good, and the service is always on point. The only difference for me is the atmosphere—it doesn’t feel the same anymore. It’s much louder now, likely because the place has gotten busier..

I’ve been a loyal Keg guest for years, dining at least once a month, but my recent experience at the Vaughan location on September 10th was disappointing. I ordered my usual rib steak, medium. It came out rare—bleeding on the plate. I sent it back, and when the manager personally returned it, I cut into it right in front of her. Instead of acknowledging the issue, she told me it was “the lighting” and walked away. I was shocked by the dismissive response. In the end, I barely touched the steak and only ate the sides. They discounted the bill by $25, but that hardly makes up for the poor execution and service. The only positive was our server, who worked hard to make up for the situation and really tried to salvage the evening. The Keg used to be my go-to for a consistent steak dinner, but my past few experiences—including this one—have made me seriously reconsider. My husband and I went to the Keg to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We always go to the Keg for our anniversary, knowing we are going to have a great meal and great service. We have been going to the Keg for more than 20 years. The food has never disappointed, and we typically finish our meal with the complimentary Billy Miner Pie, which is always offered on special occasions. The restaurant knew we were there for our annual special occasion. Well, the server was not on his A game at all. We ordered wine, and he spilled it onto the table. He did not attempt to wipe it up so I used my napkin to clean the table. I left the soiled napkin at the edge of the table hoping he would replace it immediately, but he did take his sweet time. It wasn't a busy Wednesday night, yet he took forever to take our order. He did not ask us how we liked our meal, the salt and pepper was nowhere to be found, and he did not ask if we were celebrating anything, which is a typical question when we dine at the Keg. Needless to say, not a great experience. We will have to go to another Keg next year for sure.

Feels like Grandmas kitchen! Delicious, fresh food, warm, friendly service and conversation, all with a true feel of a Mediterranean restaurant. The two ladies working were very kind, welcoming and friendly. The grilled calamari, Lasagna, the 14oz Steak and fresh Sea Bass were all truly excellent plates. This is a hidden gem in Vaughan that I’d definitely recommend to all!

Great food and service. Pizzas are great and a good selection of pasta dishes. I have also been here for a family celebration and we had great service then too.

We had a great Italian lunch here. an elegant and quiet restaurant! We had calamari Grigio, Linguine Diavolo, Fettucine Olindo, they are all very delicious! We were served by Maria, a truly kind and helpful lady! We will definitely come back again!

Last night I had my 60th birthday party here and the food was excellent and we had a ton of dishes Caesar salad ,bruschetta, spaghetti with meatballs, a veal chop, the mussels, calamari and it was all excellent. Sam. Our waiter was incredible. The service was as excellent as the food and I really had an enjoyable 60th birthday. We weren't a small party either, we were 12 people but Sam did a great job keeping up with the table and the service was absolutely incredible. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anybody who likes real Italian food and wants a nice evening out .

Chop Steakhouse has a beautiful ambiance — the birdcage-style chandeliers and warm, modern décor create a lovely setting. The service was excellent from start to finish: attentive, friendly, and professional. It’s the kind of place that feels perfect for drinks and a quiet conversation with a friend or loved one. But the food was a major letdown. The baby back ribs were drowned in sauce — so much that the portion of actual meat felt minimal, and you’re essentially just eating sauce for the price you pay. And it wasn’t just the ribs — everything on the table was dripping in sauce, overpowering the flavors and making the meal feel heavy and one-note. The pistachio-crusted cod lacked seasoning, and the French onion soup was average at best. The only thing worth coming back for was the sticky toffee sundae — genuinely delicious and well-executed. Bottom line: Great service and vibe. Come for wine and dessert, not the food.

Firstly the restaurant was very very cold. We all changed places around the table but every single seat felt like it was under the air conditioning going full blast. I sat with my fingers under my legs trying not to move like a statue to try to hold onto any little bit of warmth I had. This was our Father’s Day dinner so there were three meals. One meal was the rib dinner which my husband found was fine but nothing to repeat. My son got the steak and ate all of it but only had a few bites of the potatoes and left all of the vegetables. I had a few spoonfuls of my rice and eat one of the beats that was raw in a big chunk that was difficult to eat unless you cut it up in small pieces. And the cod was obviously pre-frozen and the method they cooked it was poor because it was a dry brick with some type of crusted nut over top that looked like a granola bar out of the package. It was completely separated from the fish. I removed the layer that looked like a granola bar all in one piece and I tasted the fish which was inedible in my opinion. We got our bill we were paying and as my husband was paying I mentioned to the waitress that this was the worst frozen fish meal I’ve ever had in my life and I just wanted to let her know this is what they were serving. She took the pay machine from my husband, and took my meal off the bill. We were ready to just pay for the whole thing it was Father’s Day we didn’t want to cause a fuss. So she removed the meal from the bill and we added the meal to our already generous tip. I would not repeat this experience nor would I recommend this restaurant to any of my friends however the staff and the service were excellent. Beautiful restaurant with an amazing atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, the variety of chairs, tables, lighting, and wall décor really makes the place stand out. The interior design is stunning, and honestly, even the restroom is worth mentioning – the little fireplace, decorative lights, and wall ornaments make it feel unique and cozy. We ordered two salads, one with grilled chicken and one with grilled steak. Both tasted good, but personally, I would have preferred the dressing served on the side so I could add it myself, larger chunks of cheese for more flavor, and soft drinks served in bottles instead of only with ice. The staff were super friendly, full of energy, and made the experience even better. The location has great parking, so you can stay and enjoy without any stress. Overall, I recommend this place – it’s perfect for business meetings, events, or evening gatherings with friends. With just a few small tweaks to the menu options, this spot could be absolutely flawless. 👌

A good friend and I had the distinct pleasure of dining at the Chop Steakhouse in Woodbridge, Ontario for lunch on August 26 2025. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The two hostesses were delightful and found us an excellent table in the dining room as requested. We started with a superb French onion soup. I would have liked a little more shredded onion, and a crouton in the soup, but the broth was the best I have tasted anywhere. My friend had a perfectly cooked filet mignon with French fries, and I had a beautifully plated delicious roast prime rib of beef sandwich au jus, with a house specialty, “Furious Fries”. Not a crumb remained!! Our excellent server, Alice, provided friendly, engaging and attentive first-rate service. She was a true pleasure to deal with and greatly enhanced our dining experience. We are looking forward to our next visit to this fine dining establishment. Thank you to all at Chop Steakhouse for the great meal and great service in a super location with a cheery atmosphere. We had a great evening at Chop Steakhouse with a few standout moments and some room for improvement. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server was truly wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of. I ordered the Avocado Super Bowl and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavourful it was. The ingredients were beautifully balanced and everything tasted so vibrant—it was light yet filling, and definitely a dish I’d come back for. My boyfriend went with the steak, and while we had high hopes, it unfortunately didn’t deliver. It was quite tough and lacked the depth of flavour you’d expect from a steakhouse. Considering it should be a signature item, we were a little disappointed. That said, the highlight of the evening was hands down the espresso martini. All in all, a nice experience with some delicious moments, especially thanks to the great service and cocktails. With a few tweaks to the steak, it could easily be a five-star spot.

I recently enjoyed a meal at Chop Steakhouse & Bar, and my 10 oz top sirloin was absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly as requested, tasty, and moist! The sautéed garlic shrimp and Yukon gold mashed potatoes were excellent accompaniments. The home-style garden salad and appetizer chilli garlic shrimp were particular highlights, and my custom-made strawberry lemonade was perfectly refreshing. The dining experience itself was smooth, thanks to the reservation made. However, I did notice a couple of things from my vantage point near the kitchen area that gave me pause regarding hygiene. I observed staff adjusting their hair (even combing it) while prepared food was being brought out, before proceeding to serve customers. While I appreciate everyone wanting to look their best, I'd gently suggest prioritising hygiene in food service above all else, perhaps by ensuring hair is consistently tied back. This kind of personal grooming shouldn't be done where food is passing; it would be more appropriate in a washroom area where proper hand washing can follow. Another excellent alternative could be to have meals covered until they reach the guest, providing an extra layer of protection. This is especially important in the dining room, though perhaps there's more flexibility at the bar. Overall, it was a great experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

I recently had a quick lunch at Ay Caramba. The staff were welcoming, and the restaurant was clean, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The food was well presented, and the portion sizes, especially for the tacos, were generous, though the price was a bit high. While everything tasted fine, the flavors weren't particularly memorable. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars—not quite perfect, but still a good choice for a meal.

⸻ First of all, I have to talk about the service. The customer service was excellent—both the person who took our order and the young man who brought the food were very polite and friendly. The only thing to note was the small size of the tacos compared to their price, which felt a bit expensive. If the price was lower or the number of tacos was more, it could’ve easily been a five-star experience. The churros were very small and just average—they could have been better. Overall, it was good, but not great.

Great place. Nice people. Beautiful atmosphere. Very authentic. Fresh food and home made nachos. Just wonderful. I would recommend serving Tamarindo drinks. Maybe caffe con leche. Some kind of a Mexican coffee for after meals. Deserts would be good too. Otherwise it’s a great place and I highly recommend it

Super friendly staff and one of the most delicious tacos in Vaughan! Definitely a lowkey spot to enjoy some tacos with friends and family or you can order take out, which is still just as fresh once you get home to enjoy

The food is good but lately they're getting chincy. For 5 tacos you used to get two sauces and extra tortillas since some of the tacos have wet fillings. Tacos fall a part. Now they've cut the extra tortillas. Now only once sauce per 5 tacos....the portions are small and this place isn't cheap. $80 order - 10 tacos, and taquitos and you only get 2 sauces total. Not to mention tacos falling apart. Not the best experience. This restaurant isn't going to be around much longer if they keep cutting things....

Ay Caramba delivers true Mexican flavor. I love the atmosphere around here with the little booths and lighting decor. The owner is extremely friendly and has passion about the food that they serve. Most of the dishes are house made. I love their secret hot sauces. Not so secret now but I highly recommend you ask for them. Portions are very generous for real tacos. The chicken and beef were incredible with such great flavor. The fish was super delicious with a good chunk of haddock. The churro was perfectly cooked and not overly oily. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the way it should be. I like the way they serve their menu here with a flat price of five or three tacos. You can mix and match them any way you want or order all the same. There is no difference. I will definitely be coming back to try out some of the appetizers as five tacos filled me up and I couldn't have another bite. Great job! We'll be back.

Had a meeting with an award winning custom home builder and renovator Ridgestone Homes here at Marcello’s. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfonzo, and it was great… the flavours with the chicken and the mushroom and the sauce were amazing. I would go back just for the pasta. Portion size was good, I was full. The other guys got Gnocchi in a meat sauce, and some sort of chicken pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was good too, but the place can get a little loud. It’s very open and sound travels. They do also have an outside patio. If you go, enjoy your meal!

Marcello’s is hands down the best Italian food in the area. Every dish is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. The servers are welcoming, attentive, and always accommodating with dietary needs or changes to dishes. We’ve been regulars here for a while, and it remains our go to spot for a taste of Italy.

I’ve heard about this place through my family and after trying it for the first time today with my friends, I can say it was definitely worth the hype. Since we came during peak hours & had a party of 7 we waited 40 mins to be seated instead of the initial 1 hr. After ordering, we got our food fairly quickly despite it being pretty busy! Everything we ordered was 10/10! However, what made our experience go from 10 to 100 was our server Zachary. He was incredibly kind, attentive and relatable. Zach made my birthday extra special & now I’ll be looking for him every time I go in the future. I hope to dine in with him again :)

I'm visiting from Vancouver, BC. My cousin recommended Marcello's and it did not let down. I was impressed by their delicious pizza, thin crust which was delightful. The service was great too, surrounded by a charming atmosphere.

I'd totally give this place 5 stars! The food was exceptional if you're into Italian cuisine. The environment was great, but what really stood out was the service from Zack. He was super friendly and helpful, especially with my son who has a learning disability. They bonded over Pokémon, and Zack was just amazing and professional throughout. I'd go back just for him!

We were there for our anniversary lunch and it was a great experience. They had a promo going on where kids can have a meal on house if you order one entree. Our daughter loved the linguine pasta. The portions were generous and our server was polite and friendly. Will be going back soon.

Service is provided with better attitudes than my small town...which impressed me. We had crispy chicken Ceasars salad, Buffalo Chicken burger with a side Ceasars salad and a PB Bacon Cheeseburger with seasoned fries. Everything was fantastic. Prices were as expected. Jenna H. Was our server and was great. Good energy and she checked in on us the perfect amount of time. Not too much and not too little.

Our server Cassidy was friendly, helpful, efficient, no errors, food was hot and good. This was our first at this location and at Pickle Barrel in general. Came with our two adult children, one ordered the huge vanilla shake with whipped cream, only $8!!!

The atmosphere is good, and there are plenty of staff. We ordered the smoked meat deli with onion soup, and fish and chips—both were really good. The drinks, a watermelon lychee mojito and a gin mint mule, were below average. I really liked the pickles that were served. The only complaint is that they didn’t mention the onion soup comes with an extra charge, even though it was listed as a side for the smoked meat.

Went there for their Valentine’s Day meal. This establishment meets expectations but I wouldn’t exactly say it had that wow factor. I will say though my review is for constructive criticism as I do believe our wait staff is fairly new so we weren’t upset or mad. They were genuinely friendly and engaging, however, there is room for improvement. For drinks, we opted for water which didn’t come. As we opted to get our complimentary tea during our meal vs after, this came first to the table followed by the bubbly. Next, we received our mains and weirdly enough, our starters came last. I actually forgot we even had starters. I was offered the choice of getting Caesar salad instead of the house salad. I was asked if I wanted bacon bits but when it came, there was no bacon bits. I opted to upgrade my steak to the 10 oz which should have come with mashed potatoes and market vegetables. Instead it came with the fries. I wouldn’t have cared except there is an up charge for the 10oz so I wanted to make sure I did have 10 oz and not 7. The waitress was unsure and offered to ask, but perhaps it slipped her mind as she did seem rather busy. Another staff member saw us looking around and then explained it was indeed a 10oz. We left it at that and later on the same staff member kindly comped us with a mashed potato. As for the food itself. I’m not much of a drinker so I wouldn’t know if it’s good quality or not. Nevertheless, I found the bubbly quite tasty and in retrospect, I should have asked for more. I can tell you 3oz isn’t enough. My partner got the Lobster & Shrimp pasta. I sampled some and it was very tasty. I almost wish I had chosen that instead of steak. The steak was passable. I’ve had better, but at this price point, I’m not too concerned. The Caesar salad wasn’t a hit for me. The Parmesan cheese was powdered and not freshly grated. The dressing felt off. On the whole, the salad didn’t feel fresh. I should have stayed with the house salad. To their credit, the portion side was pretty big. The desserts were fantastic. The portions were big. Out of the two, the Classic cheesecake was the better tasting one. The strawberry topping was a joy. The chocolate fudge cake was very er…chocolatety. Good for folks who absolutely love chocolate. This meal was a good price. I wouldn’t mind coming here again.

Had breakfast with the family and was looking forward to a good start to the day. Ordered a medium rare steak with poached eggs — a simple request, but unfortunately the execution missed the mark. What I received was close, but not quite. The steak wasn’t cooked to order, and the eggs were definitely not poached. I’ve attached a photo of the meal I received, along with a reference photo to show what a poached egg should look like. That said, the venue itself is quite impressive in size — spacious and comfortable, which earns it the second star. Disappointed with the meal, especially for a breakfast spot that should be able to get the basics right.

Absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and great service. The gentleman who was serving us, was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We had the calamari, and pizza as a started and both were cooked to perfection. As the entree, we had the Tasca (highly recommend this dish. Perfectly balanced with ricotta cheese and meat) and we had the gnocchi (well done pasta with a great red sauce and topped with ricotta cheese). For dessert, we all had the tiramisu (moist and delicious). Overall, great experience.

A very pleasant dining experience at this location. The atmosphere is warm and the staff was attentive and energetic, you can feel the lively Italian spirit in the way they engage with guests. The food was tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. We love the Fungi Focaccia, soft and earthy, and the portion was generous for two of us, so we ended up packing some home to enjoy later. We also love the Odessa fettuccine, and since we said we will share the pasta, the kitchen thoughtfully plated it into two portions for us, appreciated the good gesture. Mussels are really fresh, too, we ordered red sauce and it was not too salty.

We went here to catch a quick lunch. Food was great. We got salad , calamari and pizza. Everything was just delicious. Place was bumping on a Monday. I would highly recommend this place. I will be back.

This was the most disappointing meal I’ve had in a long time! 1- my noodles all stuck together in one chunk- means it sat in the strainer without liquid too long before adding it to the sauce. 2- my sauce was a- broken b- disgusting. It was supposed to me a delicious, cream sauce and instead it was salty butter with a bit of cream. In fact, it tasted like chicken broth with a tonne of butter and a splash of cream was added to it… 3- my vegetables are so overcooked that they literally are mush- so mushy that I can squirt them between my teeth. 4- I asked for grilled chicken to be added. I got bland shredded chicken that tastes like it’s been boiled, the kind you add to your chicken noodle soup. For $30, the highlight of my meal was the side of bread that came with it. Definitely is not representative of the plates I saw around me.

The server, Andrea, and the host were excellent—confident, courteous, and exactly what you hope for when you want to relax and enjoy a meal. However, the young man who cleaned spills between courses was sloppy, wiping for the sake of it without properly cleaning the area. This falls under management’s responsibility. Young staff need proper training and guidance in food hospitality, as it’s a skill that must be learned and refined.

One of the nice Italian pasta I ever had! My 4 & 2 year LOVED their gnocchi potato dumplings pasta with tomato sauce. I even liked the tomato sauce. Don’t judge me but I was dipping my pizza in it too 😀 it is going to my one of favourite place to eat out after long wonderland day with kids. I wish they would have some chef special vegetarian pizza though. Mediterranean pizza was not up to mark.

Small pizzeria, but steady flow of customers. They are very busy. But meals come hot and fast to the tables. Line up of people. First time at Riccis… didn’t really know what to expect. But I was not disappointed! The place was packed but the food was just flying out… it’s like restaurant food (fast food style) everything was great… the restaurant is large enough for people to enjoy their dinner without feeling over crowded… will have to try the panzos next time they were huge and looked delicious 🤤 also, lots of options even for the most pickiest people! Tried a veal sandwich from them the other day The bun and toppings were great and the veal meat was tasty but a little on the dry side. I’d go back but I’ll also continue my quest to find the best veal in the Greater Toronto Area because I’m finding it hard to believe that California’s Sandwiches is the end game.. The quest continues…

Fantastic ! We had a series of Appetizers Sweet potato soup - so light and tasty and they avoided the heavy cream. So delicious and tastes like sweet potato. Beef carpaccio.. tender slices of beef accompanied by wonderful slices of cheese and lettuce. Bruschetta...ok didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised. Ripe and well seasoned on top of nicely toasted bread.. Garden salad - fresh lettuce etc and with a tangy dressing.. and none of that brown edged lettuce to see often. Kudos Seafood linguini - I switched their tomato dressing to a garlic olive oil and wow! Fresh and tasty shrimp, scallops, and mussels and clams - all cooked perfectly. A wonderful looking, tasty and a la dente not of heaven. Staff great and actually complimented our choice of pasta sauce as it allows the sweetness of the seafood to shine . I just wondered why we are seated near the aisle to the bar area while there were so many empty tables in the middle of the restaurant..a minor issue they I didn't raise at the time to Think one of the best Italian resin our general, area RH (,well Vaughan).

AMAZING FOOD AND EXPERIENCE!! Restaurant was very clean and beautiful atmosphere... reminded me of the many times my family would gather together for family reunions, at fancy restaurants, when I was a kid. The service was great.... food came to the table very fast. The flavor was devine...I haven't had food taste like that in years. I think every single bite I took was worth the price. This experience was a 10/10 for me. I will be going back 100%.... can't believe I just discovered this place now. My goal is to have everything on the menu. Great for small partys or family get togethers ❤️.... or if you have a special someone you want to impress 😉 Delicioso 🤌

Absolutely loved my first time experience here! My party of 6 (including a newborn) was greeted by our server with a smile. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I enjoyed the Cod with white wine, capers and artichokes and am now counting down the days until we return. I asked for extra sauce because it was so delicious and they were happy to make it for me on the side. Excellent food, service and fantastic for families!

First time checking this place out with my fiancé. It's close to where we live and I'm glad we had dinner 🍽 here. Very delicious food and fantastic service. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a high-end feel, and the service was truly excellent—attentive and friendly throughout. However, the food itself was just average and didn’t really stand out. For the price of each meal, I expected a lot more in terms of flavor. While I appreciate the great service and upscale ambiance, I’m not sure I would return given the high cost for what felt like fairly ordinary dishes.

I wish I recalled the name of our server he was really wonderful. The food was very good, great selection. It is loud, but lively and great atmosphere. We would definitely go back again.

Went out for dinner last night and it was our first time at this Italian restaurant. To begin with, we had calamari fritti and Caesar salad, which were very small portions and overpriced. For mains, we ordered penne alla vodka with shallots, smoky pancetta, and a splash of vodka in a rosé sauce. It was basically penne pasta in tomato sauce with only three pieces of pancetta and was not evenly portioned. For dessert, I had tiramisu, which tasted stale. The server was a man in his 50s who was a bit rude and barely smiled, but the restaurant's ambiance was amazing as it was decorated beautifully. Overall, the food was overpriced. Would I recommend this restaurant to anyone? Definitely not. Food: 0.5/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Another great Turkish find, gives a Turkish diner vibe with plenty of seating. It’s in a plaza type complex so lots of parking available. Service was very good and fast. We ordered the hummus with mushrooms, which we had never seen or had before, surprisingly good combination, their bread was fresh and filling. We ordered their Beyti, which was amazing, quite juicy as it was soaked in tomato purée and then their Adana kebabs were great too! We received two hearty salads with our order so that was a pleasant surprise. Great place and would go again!

I came here a couple times. The food is great. I had the beyti, lamb shish kebab, and chicken shawarma dinner. My recommendation is get the lamb shish kebab, it’s incredible. Appetizers I recommend the lahmacun, and the Turkish tea is quite phenomenal.

The costumer service was really nice and comforting. specially the guy in the counter he was really really nice to all the costumers. i asked him after ordering if i can can the order and he was so polite. the food was okay.. not the best turkish food i had but it was comforting. The lamb was kind of raw not fully cooked. The salad and dressing tasted really good. but the garlic sause was lacking flavour. loved the sarma.

Beyti and beef shawarma were so dry! When we told the waitress about our issue She told us ya because it’s after 6:00 pm (if it doesn’t taste good then don’t sell it) . Really disappointed. Food doesn’t taste as good as it looks

I absolutely loved the salad – the dressing was delicious! The food overall was excellent, both in taste and price. The mint tea was amazing, and the Şekerpare and Halka dessert were also very good. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to Sofra Istanbul for over 7 years, and it’s consistently excellent. The food is always fresh and delicious, the place is spotless, and the service is warm and reliable. It’s one of those rare spots where you know exactly what to expect, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!

Went here for the first time a couple months ago and I still cannot forget the pizzas here. They're thin crust and have a variety of different toppings. The priced by weight so take a small slice if you wanna try everything. Their arancini is also really good!!

My husband and I recently had a fantastic experience at Ciao Roma, which stands out from the typical pizza joints. First time having authentic Italian pizza and I’m obsessed. I tried 1 piece first and was so blown away by the flavour and texture that I got another. That totaled 4 pieces haha my husband went ham and had 3 types which totaled 6 pieces! The atmosphere is cozy, clean and love that it’s open concept. We visited on a Saturday and the woman who served us was so pleasant. Any time we are in the area, we will pass by and happily give this establishment our support!

Hands down the best pizza place in the GTA. Couldn’t find anything better than this even in Rome! Always fresh and delicious. Can’t go more than a few days without having it 💕

Roman style pizza and it is excellent. Light and fluffy, the sauce is sweet yet not over powering and the cheese blind counters the sweet sauce. Got a slice, a little expensive but well worth it, high quality fresh ingredients.

My favorite pizza place, hands down! Ciao Roma serves up authentic, Italian-inspired "Al Taglio" pizza, which means you pay by the weight. It's a great way to try different kinds, and the price is very reasonable for the quality you get. They have a fantastic selection, but for me, the best part is the dough. It's incredibly light and has a better digestibility than any other pizza I've had. This is easily the best pizza I've ever had—I highly recommend it. I always grab extra slices for the next day :)

Decided to try this place for a mini treat night. First time here, we made reservations for a saturday night but was not too busy. They gave us free bruschetta along with the apps. I highly recommend the pork belly ceasar salad and the honey truffle fries. Salad was out of this world! The appetizers was definitely better than our pasta entrees. I got a veggie pasta with olives and tomatoes, it was overwhelmed with an olive taste. The wild boar gnocchi was good, however tasted like an italian beef bolognese you can make at home, definitely was not worth $36 a plate. We requested for a side of bread with our pasta and it never came but that is okay because it was plenty of food. For dessert the chocolate ravioli was warm and tasty. I would come back for the apps and I heard they do oyster nights .

My friends and I went for dinner recently. The food was delicious, especially the seafood pasta. They have a great wine selection. What stood out most to me was the amazing service. I would most definitely return to this restaurant just based on the servers we had the pleasure of meeting.

Visit this restaurant today everything was good we are 5 adults and 1 child. This was located in a plaza with a gas station...One lady server doesnt know the special. Another gent had to come and explain what they have that wasnt on the menu. Price came to $455 + tips. A little on the pricey side given the fact that only 3 of us got a glass of wine, but I gave this a 4 stars for the overall exp.

Simply the best. Unassuming restaurant location, but the food is the highlight - they pay attention to the food. Everything is delicious. We had a sardines appetizer that was perfectly prepared, boar gnocchi that knocked it out of the park, and their lamb is one the best I have ever had. Don’t miss out.

Invited to dinner with work associates. Had a separate area. Started with group appetizers. Shrimp, out of this world, artichokes...Wow, rapini salad. Great. Some people had gnocchi either wild boar sauce....I had the lamb.....really really great. Service was top notch. Met the owner Correy. Great guy. You will not be disappointed.

3 stars for the 3 mariachis. We came for dinner on a Saturday night and were greeted by a lively (and very loud) atmosphere. It’s definitely a fun place to go for a night out but it was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other from across the table. We had a reservation for 8:15 and received a text that the table was ready - but it was not in fact ready when we got there. We had to wait about 5 minutes for them to clear and clean it. Service was a little slow and not great. We had a number of different servers over the course of the night and no one checked in to see how the meal was after it was served. The food itself was yummy but we found it to be overpriced for what it was. Chips and guacamole was $18. 3 tacos were $29. I think you can find better tacos for a lot less at other places. Overall, it was a very mid experience. Not sure we’ll come back.

This place is such a good find! The drinks are spot on and the enchiladas were absolutely delicious. Loved the vibe inside, really cozy but fun at the same time. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be coming back again.

We went for lunch. We had a craving for tacos 🌮. Our server Parmis was amazing. Parmis was helpful and answered all our questions. We had the Elote as our appetizer. We ordered the Carnitas and Tiger shrimp tacos. They were both tasty . The toppings were plentiful on both of them. Great lunch👍🏼🌮

Great food perfect portions and great service, the restaurant also has live music for a great dinner with friends and family. I got the nachos to share and they were really great and the burrito bowl with chicken and taco shell which was super filling and worth the price. The service is very great and super quick

First time coming here! I got the Chicken Chimichanga and it was perfect! And reasonable price for the huge size and plate. (Like 30 bucks after tax at the moment) the restaurant was very nice inside! They had live Hispanic music playing (nothing rowdy more like comfort restaurant vibes) and our waitress Hilary and team did an amazing job taking care of us! Highly recommend to check it out!

The food is good but I do think it’s pricier for what it is. The nachos with Guac were $18 plus tax. The establishment is also really loud, it’s very hard to have a conversation bc you are not able to hear the other person. Add to that the live music (which is great!) but you also won’t be able to hear the singer because it’s very loud. It gives the vibes of a club that serves food. The service was decent, the food arrives promptly, however we did have to ask for the drinks menu multiple times before we got it.

We had such a fun and memorable experience at Perla Oyster Bar and Grill! From the very first inquiry to the end of our celebration, Julia and her team’s hospitality, professionalism, and attentiveness were impeccable. We were celebrating a 50th Wedding Anniversary, and coordinating all of the menu details was so easy thanks to Julia’s quick responses, which made the planning process seamless. She also matched our paper menu to our overall vibe. Julia ensured everything went smoothly, and Eric was fantastic throughout the evening—always keeping an eye on our table and making sure we were well informed of the course timings and that we were well taken care of with beverages. The food was absolutely delicious as always, the décor and service were perfectly on point, and everything came together beautifully. All of my guests left full and happy. Thank you, Julia, for creating such a special evening for us at Perla—we’ll definitely be back again!

Had our anniversary dinner here and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Service was outstanding. There was so many staff in the restaurant and they all worked in unison to serve everyone, like a 'well oiled machine' .... Food was served in a timely fashion, being hot and super tasty. Portion sizes were excellent as well! Ambiance was beautiful and classy, well done! Staff were very knowledgeable about oysters, which was nice to see. I found this restaurant while searching on Google for a place that serves fresh oysters, and it showed up at the top of the results. The oysters were great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of other dishes, which were all delicious as well. I liked it so much that I went twice within a week with different friends. The only downside was the seating—I wish we could have been seated in a more private area, as it would have made our conversations more enjoyable. Overall, though, I really enjoyed the food and would recommend this place.

Visited yesterday for a 50th birthday party. We had the private area upstairs. The food was great. The antipasto boards that came out were huge and full of an assortment of fish and meat. We ordered drinks and they were brought out in great time. Drinks are by far some of the best we've ever had. Service was quick and food was hot. Very nice place and we had live music in the background. The grilled octopus 🐙 was cooked perfectly and not "gummy" tasting. Organization of the birthday party and menu by staff was very easy as they were very accommodating. Overall, all of us, party of 17 were very impressed. Great place for any occasion.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Perla's Oyster Bar & Grill last Saturday celebrating my birthday. Our server, Julia, was fantastic — she knew the menu inside and out, and every recommendation she gave was absolutely delicious. We especially recommend the Lobster Spoons Mussels — a must-try! Between the warm service, beautiful ambiance, and great food, it made for such a memorable experience. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our friend’s retirement with dinner here, and once again, this place did not disappoint! Having visited both of their locations several times before, I can say the food is consistently amazing—flavourful, beautifully plated, and served in generous portions. Our server, Erik, was outstanding: calm, confident, and attentive without being intrusive. If you’re willing to spend a little for truly great food and service, this spot is well worth it!

Went there with my grandpy to try out some New York-style fries from Canada, and compare them to New York-style fries from the USA. Gladly, I was in New York City last week, so I do know how they taste in New York. Well, according to my honest reviews and good taste, this place was better than New York itself! Ordered 23 types of fries, and finished them all with my grandpy! Hope to visit this French New York-style fries place again!

Very excellent poutine at the New York fries here in Vaughan Mills! Delicious and super friendly staff, but it can get crowded at times because Vaughan Mills is a super popular destination. Excellent excellent excellent food!!!!! Right now, it is closed, but they say they will open it soon. Hopefully it will come back even better than before!!!

The service was beyond exceptional. Booked this restaurant for a large party, and everything went smoothly. The food is good and a lot of the dishes were layered with bold flavors. Dessert menu needs some work, but overall we didn’t leave disappointed.

Service and food was impeccable. Parking was a bit messy but the valet was a good option. Given the area - prices may seem a bit high but it’s justified. Our server was attentive, food was lovely and corkage wasn’t too bad should you wish to bring your own bottle. Was here to celebrate some belated birthdays and the desserts were comped which was an appreciated touch.

The foodies in us are always on the hunt for good local restaurants. We said that if we had found Narcosto Ristorante three days ago, we would have dined there each night to try their entire menu lol. Every dish that we had was chef’s kiss. The staff felt like you’re being hosted by your best friends (Hi Temo & Julian!!). Bonus: the bill won’t break the bank either. If you are ever in Vaughan, this place belongs in your itinerary.

I’ve been to Nascosto a couple of times now, and each visit has left me very happy with the experience. The food is consistently delicious, prepared with care, and full of flavor. The service is excellent—attentive, friendly, and always welcoming. They also offer a well-curated wine list that pairs nicely with the dishes, which makes the overall dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether for a casual night out or a special evening, Nascosto delivers both quality and consistency. A great spot I’d definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Overall a nice work dinner. Service was a little slow and average for what I would classify as a higher end restaurant. I had the Ravioli Gorgonzola. It was cooked well, lacking in flavour. I ordered the dish as I love Gorgonzola. The wine was delicious, which I expected at $150. Great atmosphere. I was expecting more, must have been an off night. I will try again.

A Truly Wonderful Spot — With One Slightly Sour Note I've dined at Nascosto several times now, and every experience has been wonderful. I’ve brought new friends with me each time to introduce them to the food, ambiance, and excellent service. The team at Nascosto always delivers — the space is beautiful, the staff is warm and attentive, and the food is consistently outstanding. Most recently, I hosted a dinner for a group of 10. We spent over $1,000, and I had left a $100 deposit when making the large-party reservation. Everything went smoothly until the end, when my bill came to $101.08 (after including a 20% tip). The server asked me for the remaining $1.08 — a tiny amount, but it felt surprisingly tacky and tasteless considering the circumstances. It’s a small detail, yes — but it left a bad taste in my mouth after what was otherwise a flawless evening. That said, I still consider Nascosto one of my favorite restaurants in the area and will continue to recommend it. I just hope management considers how those small interactions can shape a guest’s lasting impression.

Probably one of the best dinner I’ve ever had. The place is beautifully designed and well taken care of. The service was outstanding. Our waitress explained every dish in detail and when I asked about gluten-free options, she patiently came back with the allergens list, pointing out exactly what was safe and what to avoid. The food was incredible, especially the Kaki Mayo, which were just divine. Their signature cocktails were another real highlight. A truly unique experience, absolutely worth trying. Bonus points for the price too: considering the overall quality, I actually expected to pay much more. And one last clever touch, they even had mouthwash available in the washroom, something I’d never seen before but really appreciated after the meal. I’ll definitely be back!

We had birthday dinner at Yokai. The food was great, the service friendly, fast and helpful , atmosphere was friendly and more suitable for couples or friends, less for families or kids. It was very hot inside restaurant that is a huge disappointment, we couldn’t sit more than one hour. I would recommend to come in winter time, not in hot dates.

The restaurant is cool and has an unique vibe. Servers are friendly and efficient. The food is decent. Four but not five stars are because: 1) the risotto is somewhat fishy. We get it that it is a seafood risotto but this one is definitely more fishy than what we had in other places. 2) the seasonal skewer of the platter is just 5 cherry tomatoes. Given the platter is $34 for 6 skewers, this is some very expensive cherry tomatoes. 3) the coke is charged by glass but they put such big chunks of ice in the glass and heavily dilute the coke. Two glasses ($7) is less than a can of coke. Place is different but we feel the price is a bit greedy for food you get.

Went with my significant other and we had a great time trying their food and drink. The chicken karaage was crisp and the sauce complimented it very well. The umami fries were so good and hits your tastebuds the right way. To finish we had salmon sushi with jalapeño and gold flakes on top, it was amazing. To drink was a purple sangria which was also 10/10. Thank you yokai izakaya for taking care of us 🫶

Had date night at Yokai Izakaya and it was perfect. The vibe is cozy but lively, exactly the kind of spot you want for a night out. Food was amazing – every dish came out fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Drinks were on point too. Service was friendly without being over the top, which made the night feel super relaxed. Definitely one of those places you want to come back to again and again.

My cousin and I came here for the oysters! But everything on the menu was amazing! The service we received was top tier. Their inferno hot sauce was amazing!! I hope one day they sell their hot sauce because I will be purchasing it! Can’t wait to be back soon.

We visited The Burger's Priest in Vaughan late at night, and it was another great experience! There were three of us, and we each tried a different sandwich, including the classic chicken and classic burger—both were absolutely delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and kind, and they even offered us free Coke, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The saloon itself wasn't particularly messy or neat—likely because it was quite late—but still comfortable enough to enjoy our meal. This was the second branch we've tried, and once again, thumbs up for this brand! Definitely looking forward to coming back again. 🍔🥤👏

I’ve tried another one of their branches in downtown before and loved it, but this one was even better for me because it’s closer to where I live. All the burgers were absolutely amazing — juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. The dine-in space is really nice and cozy, perfect for a casual meal. Staff were also super friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to burger spots now!

Tried Burger Priest for the first time, and we were satisfied with our meals. The burgers were big, juicy and cooked perfectly. Zia provided exceptional customer service and was very friendly and informative about the menu selections. I would return again if in the area

I bought the hot honey chicken combo. I threw away the fries which were the worst I ate in my life. I didn’t enjoy the burger as it was too hot for me. The bottle of water was good. The staff were super friendly. The seating area outside was closed which was a pity for such a hot day.

I’m not a real meat eater but from time to time I crave a great burger. We always come to Burger’s Priest when I feel like one. This place is excellent, friendly staff and the burgers are excellent quality at a reasonable price.

ONE STRIP OF BACON. These guys put ONE STRIP OF BACON on our 4 double bacon cheeseburgers. At that point, that’s beyond offensive. We had also requested extra toppings as listed on receipt, extra pickles = 2 TINY PICKLES?!? will never return to this place. This restaurant is a joke.

I recently celebrated my graduation at State and Main, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Justin, the manager, was incredibly helpful both leading up to the day and in communication on the day of the event, making sure everything was set up smoothly. Our server was fantastic, recommending popular drinks, appetizers, and meals that everyone really enjoyed. The food was delicious, and all of our guests were happy and satisfied. A big thank you to the entire team for making the celebration so special—I would definitely recommend State and Main for any special occasion!

I’ve been to multiple locations and they are very consistent with great food and service. While in Toronto, no one could decide what they wanted to eat and there is such a variety of food types to select. From burgers, steaks and ribs and poke bowls! No disappointments with quick friendly service!

Lighting was dim so my pictures don’t do it justice, but whoever this chef was.. 😍👌😍 they deserve the BEST because our meals SLAPPED 💯💯💯💯 Absolutely delicious food. All plates were cleaned out by the end of our dinner.

Went for a friends birthday. Food was decent. I got the Honey Cajun Chicken with sweet potato fries and asparagus. Asparagus was a bit soggy. Fries and chicken were good.

We visited State & Main Woodbridge on Saturday, August 17th for a date night. The food was great (loved the Chili Coconut Calamari, Baja Fish Tacos, and Tomato Bacon Soup) and our server was excellent. Unfortunately, the evening was stained by the male manager on duty around 8 PM. We ordered the 10oz The Empire State steak medium rare, but it arrived medium well. When we politely raised it, the manager responded in a dismissive, accusatory, and condescending way, insisting it “looked medium rare to me, is that not medium rare to you?” and treating us with no professionalism or respect. The steak was remade correctly, no fault to the server and kitchen did a great job correcting it, but the manager’s behaviour ruined the night.

Food is good enough, desert was excellent, mocktail was good…. Service was great super friendly and accommodating. No complaints!

This is a great spot for sushi and poke - literally get them both together if you can! I definitely should have taken better photos 😅 but the food is so good. We had the salmon and tuna poke bowl with the torched unagi. They were both delicious, and didn't leave us feeling bloated. This place is efficient, creative, and has great options. Definitely looking forward to trying the rest of the menu ✅

This is my go to sushi place! Ingredients are fresh and the flavour is amazing! Honestly would not be able to tell you what's my favourite thing from the menu is but definitely not a fan of the black caviar as it tastes like metal. Amazing presentation and quick service! 2 items and you'll definitely be full!

This place is not kidding when they say that they offer premium fish and fresh ingredients!! Some of the best sushi I’ve had and it keeps its taste even for takeout. The dining area inside the restaurant is pretty small so if you have a party of more than two, I would strongly recommend you consider take out options as they don’t do reservations and there’s no guarantee that you will have space. The packaging is extremely high-quality and elevates the entire experience 5/5 stars

Great ambience, delicious and high quality food! Attention to details (packaging etc) and presentation is incredible! It was also quite fast although there were a lot of orders to dine in and take out.

The sushi here is so fresh and perfectly seasoned. We got the two people tasting platter and two rolls on top of that and it was so much food. I would saw the two people tasting platter can be enough for 3 people. After eating a bunch of the torched sushi it does get a bit greasy but the flavours are really well made. After you order, they give you a buzzer and the wait time is around 20 minutes so there is a bit of a wait.

The sushi is fresh and tasty and always beautifully presented from the food to the packaging. The wait can be a bit if you come during peak hours but can always order ahead of time. I got the tasting box and I loved it - has a little bit of everything and so yummy!

Excellent sushi and poke bowls! 😋. They can get quite busy, and the seating is limited. I see more people doing takeout here. The staff are friendly and work really hard to move the line. Definitely recommend.

I heard about the place on TikTok and here I am! It was a super hot day outside so stepping inside was perfect. The barista was super friendly and made my iced latte very quickly. Almost too quickly as it tasted like it was a very milk heavy concoction and no taste of espresso. The baking did shine through. The foccacia on the sandwich was soft and gave way to the pistachio, which was remarkably flavorful. The mortadella was a great choice and reminded me of the Bourdain sandwich in the best way. The pastries were super flaky and the pain au chocolate was extremely good, a solid filling and folded very very well with notes of butter. A really good option for baking but marred by its coffee!

I get the hype. Such a great spot with so many tempting treats and some sandwiches that look awesome for a savoury breakfast or lunch. The pastry in all of the pastry was soft perfectly cooked. Nice super crisp bite each time. I always opt for coffee and tea flavours and a nice coffee flavour in each pastry. And filled… literally bursting with each bite once you break that perfect exterior. It does get messy because of how filled it is, so ensure you have some type of plate or use whatever the pastries come in to keep all that filling from being wasted. Parking is not enough for how viral this spot has gotten since the pandemic. A steady stream of customers keeps coming and when the line subsides, another set of customers comes funneling in. However, they do go through customers fairly quickly. Service was great. Even with the amount of customers coming through, I was never rushed into making a decision. I would just let customers know I am still deciding and let them go first. Great job overall.

Best croissants I've ever had! Incredibly flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect amount of butter, and the flavors of almond and pistachio are strong. It's not overly sweet either. You can tell there's an incredible attention to detail in their work. It's the perfect croissant.

Just moved here from NYC and I’ve been in the hunt for my go to cafe. I have definitely found it I am a sourdough lover and baker myself so it’s great to have access to a place that makes it right! In addition to delicious treats! I have been a few times and have not been disappointed. The long lines and busyness gives it away as well! We love the iced vanilla latte and flat whites. Lemonades are also refreshing!

One of the best bakeries in the city!!! They offer an incredible range—from artisanal pastries and fresh bread to frozen cheesecakes, chicken pies, and sandwiches. Their Caprese and turkey sandwiches are both excellent. The cherry on top? They serve coffee made with De Mello beans. Expect a line on weekends, but it moves quickly. Absolutely worth the drive to Vaughan!

When this bakery first opened, its pastries were hands-down the best in the GTA—worth the premium price for their generous fillings and premium ingredients, with cookies that delivered pure delight. It became our must-visit spot every time we were back in town. Lately though, we’ve noticed a subtle dip in quality: fillings seem less abundant, and that signature substance doesn't quite match past glory. Here's hoping they reclaim their gold standard soon and keep that original magic for their customers.

Their pastries totally lived up to the reviews! We had the almond twice-baked and the pistachio twice-baked croissants, and they were some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try more of their pastries next time!

order on Uber we got 2 combos pretty much just regular tacos. They were okay (it was just thrown together) I had to pretty much put everything inside the taco when I opened it. The fry supreme was disgusting and cold. I won’t be ordering from this Taco Bell again!

This Taco Bell used to be so great, but slowly as soon as quarantine ended, it started getting out of hand. their employees are so rude. Their food is not as great anymore. last time I went, somebody told me there was no value box and that they were now calling it deluxe box so ever since then I’ve been ordering a deluxe box without questioning, it wasn’t as bad, but it was just wasn’t my as good as the value box. but today I am officially over it. Today I went to go order a deluxe box and as soon as I got my order , I just straight up left, because there was no more seats, and the place was pretty dirty. As soon as I got home, I was really hungry so I decided to eat some of my Taco Bell. The fries were good, and the cinnamon sticks were okay but as soon as I got to my burrito, things took a turn for the worst. I was taking a couple of bites of my burrito, and it started to taste funny then I take notice there was a fly in my next bite and they also messed up my order and so I immediately go back and ask for a new burrito for a refund and the employee was so upset and he was giving me attitude. when i showed him the fly he refused it and said it didn’t look like a fly, he said he did not mess up my order he refused my refund but i insisted they made me a new burrito which i got. when i went home i sat down and ate my burrito and as i started to work my way to the bottom it started to taste weird. i don’t want to excuse the employees of anything but i think they did something to my food or most likely did not wash their hand ,Which is expected anyways because it it jane and finch. i will never be going back to taco bell ever again. i feel bad for myself because i wasted my money, and i probably ate a bunch of flies and didn’t take notice to it. NEVER AGAIN!!

Again, my fault for trying. I'm too old and should know better after all these years. Wasted my time and money here, again. I paid for an almost empty tortilla. 2025-05-1 didn't learn my lesson, unbelievable that this location still exists. Horrible, such a waste and disappointment. Burrito was mostly tortilla, nachos soggy and didn't receive the extra beef we paid for.

Don’t waste your money. People running the place should quit trying to save money by putting almost nothing on the food. If they made the food right they would get return customers. Have been to over 100 Taco Bell’s over the past 50 years and this store is hands down the worst!

Terrible service. Twice I came in well before closing, and both times the staff refused to serve me. Once it was 20 minutes before closing and they said they had nothing to give. Another time, they claimed they were already closed 15 minutes early. On top of that, the staff were speaking in their own language in front of customers instead of communicating clearly and professionally. Completely unacceptable customer service.

Been to this location multiple times but this time I’m not letting it go. The workers here are lazy and are always on their phones sitting down. Today I was ordering a party pack at 11:40pm 20mins before closing they told me they are close, when they clearly close at 12am. Also they lied to me, making me go to a different location saying its open, but when I checked online it said that its closed already. Thank god I didn’t waste my efforts going to a different location that is CLOSED!!

The restaurant was difficult to find. There is only a small non illuminated sign by the front door which wasn't too helpful in the dark. I had to stop and call the restaurant which was unfortunate. There isn't any parking that I can see so I opted to use the valet service. Not sure if this was the only option but it didn't seem wise to drive around looking for spot in the dark. The service was excellent as our waiter was especially attentive. However, we found the food to only be fair. It was good but really nothing that we felt justified the prices. Also, the kids mentioned that the portion sizes were small. For around $100 per person, we expected the food to be amazing.

One of Toronto's finest is now in Vaughan. Have been coming here now for about a year since it opened. The food here is always really good. Between presentation and taste is one of the best Italian restaurants you'll find. Though you are paying the price as an average cost per head is well over $100 for a three-course meal and drinks. Service tends to be very good. Unfortunately at times when it's over busy it can be a little slow as this time my steak came out pretty cold. Overall, I still recommend this place for special occasions and finer experience. Will be looking forward to my next visit.

Good atmosphere, complementary valet is great to have. Food was good overall, really liked scallop. Perhaps will have to visit again to compare other dishes.

My husband and I go here every Friday for pizza night, and their pizzas are mouthwatering. The crust is so airy and fluffy, and the toppings are top-notch! We certainly love their service and how friendly they are. Their cocktails are amazing too, and worth the money unlike most other places.

Buca Vaughan has a stylish ambiance and a menu that promises high-end Italian cuisine, but the experience fell a bit short of expectations. While sole items clearly delivered, other dishes lacked the depth of flavour you would hope for, especially given the price point. Overall, Buca Vaughan is decent, but not a must-visit—there are other Italian spots in the area that offer a better balance after all.

Let me start off by saying food was 5 stars, but atmosphere was 2. First off, I have to say the food was fantastic! I’ve been to Buca on King a few times throughout the years and have always enjoyed my meals there so I had some expectations that Buca Vaughan would be the same. My favourite dish was the Maccheroncini di Campofilone. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and there was so much flavour in the sauce, which the pasta was able to absorb and retain. I’d 100% order that dish again. Everything else that we had was also full of flavour and very fresh, especially when it came to the branzino and polpo e vongole. The tiramisu was very rich which I’m not complaining about! It was amazing. For me, a five star dining experience at a restaurant doesn’t just involve the food. Yes it’s a huge part of it but the overall experience also includes elements like ambiance, comfort, service, decor and cleanliness. The first 45 mins of our experience there was distracted and damped by a baby that was pretty vocal it needed something. Of course this isn’t something the restaurant can control, but it definitely dampened my experience from the get-go, especially at an upscale restaurant. The other thing I was a bit baffled about was fruit flies. Every few minutes I was swatting these little flies away from our dishes. I understand given the weather these days flies are inevitable but there were 1 too many and just another thing to dampen the experience. How washrooms are maintained say a lot about a restaurant as well, and I was quite shocked to see that the buttons to flush the toilet on the wall were missing. This was definitely a first for me. Our tables were cleaned between courses and plates were changed which was great but I had to ask for more water a couple of times, as my glass sat empty on the table. I also had to ask twice for the dessert menu. The last thing which I wish I knew ahead of time was that valet parking was a complimentary service for patrons at the restaurant. Had I known I wouldn’t have parked in the lot, having to pay an extra $14 for a 2 hr meal. Having paid almost $400 for our meal this evening + parking, I expect the overall experience to be great, and not just the food. I wanted to share this feedback in person with their senior staff that evening but they were not around when we left. I really want to give Buca Vaughan another shot, but I’m hesitant as I may encounter a similar experience.

We recently married and chose to have a very private, intimate wedding. We had the ceremony and dinner reception at Avlyn Gardens. We couldn't have been happier. The restaurant had such a beautiful ambience and was professionally decorated by our event planner. The food was fantastic and we have received so many compliments. All the staff were so friendly and professional. Special thanks to Marco the Head Chef & Milena the manager for helping making our day so perfect. Would definitely highly recommend for your function.

This place is really all about the food. And that's because the service was crap. But I didn't even care because the quality of the food was so out of this world. Every bite melted in my mouth. Every flavour was on point. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I had the calamari and it was the most succulent, mouth watering, non cliché calamari I've ever had. Best by far of all time. Also had the mushroom risotto and gnocchi and both were a major success for my palate. Best advice is to make a reservation because this place seems to always be full. It's a very quaint restaurant in an old converted farm house. Space is limited and seating is tight. If you book well enough in advanced, you can get a seat on the outside patio facing the gardens! <3

Wonderful dining experience! The team at Avlyn Gardens are fantastic and served a beautiful dinner for our family function in March. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for private functions or a great afternoon lunch in charming town of Kleinburg! :)

Food was very good! The atmosphere was amazing too. The gnocchi was very well cooked and tasted AMAZING! My only complaint is that some of the portions can be a bit small, but I’ll definitely be coming back.

By far my favorite restaurant. The building itself is absolutely charming, and the patio is very nice. The patio backs on to a garden that you can sit, or go for a walk in. The servers are all professional waiters and are extremely personable. The food is excellent, I personally have either lamb or steak of some form for a main. Highly recommended.

Simple menu, but the food is delicious. Broccoli soup and funghi salad to start were both amazing. Pizza and gnocchi entrees were a hit too. This place is super cute. Will definitely return when in Kleinberg.

We had a party of 22 friends for my daughter’s birthday! The Team at Moxies provided the absolute best service ! Not one of us had a negative experience! A few friends were late and the moxies team made sure their orders were taken quickly and prepared quickly and perfectly so we were all able to eat together !! Great experience! My first experience at this location, and I can honestly say their hospitality was 10/10🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Moxie's is has been awhile since I've been there, but I must say the look of the place beautiful omg it as changed alot. The food let's get in to it, I wasn't very happy or mad about it but I was expecting alot more for what I paid.it was so over priced and not worth it at all omg it was really expensive, But everything is going up in price the food quality is going down. Portion sizes definitely did not match, and it was happy hour and it was still over priced. The service the girl came and checked on us 2 times and we sat and waiting so long to get the bill. Would I go back nope but I always say try it for yourself and you be the judge. The taste was there but the portion was not.

We had a lovely lunch today at Moxies, and it truly lived up to its reputation. We ordered a variety of dishes: the Mango Chicken, Lemon Basil Salmon, and Chicken & Ribs served with crispy potato fries on the side. Every item was full of flavor — the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the ribs were tender and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the sides complemented the mains really well. One of the things I really love about Moxies is the consistency across their locations. Whether you’re in one city or another, the quality of food and service is always top-notch. The restaurant has a vibrant, modern atmosphere, making it a great spot for both casual lunches and special outings. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. That being said, Moxies is definitely on the pricier side when compared to similar chains like Earl’s or Turtle Jack’s. While the ambiance across all three is comparable — stylish, upbeat, and family-friendly — Moxies tends to be a little more upscale in terms of pricing. Expect to spend around $30–$35 per dish, depending on what you order. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly dining experience, Earl’s or Turtle Jack’s are solid alternatives. But if you’re willing to splurge a bit for excellent food, great service, and a vibrant setting, Moxies is definitely worth a visit.

I really enjoyed my time at Moxies! The avocado dip was so good as well as the fries and the Madeira rigatoni was spectacular! The ambience was lovely and was made even better by our server Kat, who was so friendly and helpful. Kat helped us pick some great options and the mimosas were really good too. Will definitely be coming back!

We came in as a group of 4 tonight. Joshua was our server and was so great! Even though he was busy he was still on point with everything. We all appreciated his service and if we lived closer we would come more often!

Beautiful atmosphere. We went on a Friday. It's best to make reservations, especially on the weekends . Our wait time was said to be 40 minutes, but it honestly was about 20 minutes. The menu was decent, as well as the price. Our server she was very engaging even with our daughter (wish I recalled her name). This location also has all the ballers and shot callers in the most luxury cars, so it's a luxury fast car show 😆 . This is also next door to Earls, so there's options if it's full.

We had a girls night out on Saturday, July 12, 2025. We started with appetizers of nachos with cheese and calamari & shrimp, both were very delicious. I had a pineapple mimosa, the others had cranberry juice. Our mains were Chicken Madeira Rigatoni. It was delicious just one small note that the pasta could have been a bit more softer, but otherwise delicious. My two friends had the Chipotle Mango Chicken and Vindaloo, both were delicious. Service and atmosphere were great. We were there for 6 hours, lots of talking and the tables weren't full, so we had time to chat. We will be back!

It is one of the better Italian restaurants in Woodbridge. Food is not disappointing and served in large portions. You will not leave hungry. It is recommended to make a reservation, as it usually is quite busy with repeat customers. There is a maximum of two bills per party dining. Groups of 5 or more have an 18% automatically applied. The atmosphere is plain with rows of tables. Music is low, and customers' conversations are loud. Service can be slow at time and a slight rush feeling when a meal is over. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will revisit it. You can order gluten-free stone oven pizza if requested. Price is on par with other places ($240 for a group of 6. This includes tips and 1 litter of wine).

Two of us went there on a week night and it was really busy. Luckily, we had a reservation, although it still took a while before a server greeted us and seated us. The service was efficient and friendly once seated. Food was very good and portions are generous. The sea food pasta stands out with lots of fresh and delicious seafood with the pasta. We got some desserts as take-out (as we were too full to enjoy them at the restaurant) and found them to be a bit too sweet for our tastes.

Honestly I would give this place a 5 star of my last experience cause I had a blast for my birthday, but when I went again my perspective on this restaurant completely changed. First of the service was terrible, we didn't receive any of cutlery, bread, utensils or anything until after our meal, not to mention when our food arrived the food was not hot either. We had to ask for all the stuff to be brought to us, which was a bit frustrating, having to ask the server constantly. It's pretty disappointing that we didn't have a good experience because last time I went I would consider it my favourite restaurant. Its okay and I understand that they are very busy, but we felt very unwanted. Overall food was okay, and tasted okay, but as I mentioned before it was cold.

Our experience wasn't that bad, but no need to rush back with so many great Italian restaurants nearby. The lasagna, rigatoni arrabiata, rigatoni allá vodka and the bruschetta were good and generous portions. The best part was the food and portions. It was hard to get our servers attention, we weren't even offered dessert, which we found it funny given the name. And unfortunately the toxito cake, carrot cake and tiramisu tasted store bought to our surprise.

Make sure you have reservations for the weekend...always busy and good food!! I been here a few times and never have had bad food or service, both for parties and for dinner. They do it right !!! They will even make something not on the menu... I really enjoy a seafood linguine dish, and they made it for me...delicious!!! Oh yeah, and go hungry, cause I think they dare you to finish their LARGE portions. Enjoy!!!

Family business ran for decades serving authentic Italian cuisine with great staff and a very nice atmosphere.

Went to Terra with six others, was my first time visiting. Lots of options for sharing when going with a larger group, which was excellent. The steak was pretty good as well. The real standout was the excellent service by every staff member. Would come back again for that reason alone!

Great place for fine dining, food is truly top notch! We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We ordered the Tuna and Hamachi appetizer, which tasted amazing and had a great balance of sweetness, saltiness, and acidity. For our mains she ordered the rack of lamb, temperature of the lamb was a perfect medium rare served with summer veg and a perfectly seasoned mashed potato. For myself, i ordered the special Bison Tenderloin which was cooked perfectly with a deep, rich, beefy flavour. In-between the apps and the main course, we were served a lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate, and after the main-course, a small cheese and nut plate was brought out before our desserts. The service here is also amazing, always came by to check on us and making sure everything was to our liking. Truly an amazing dining experience, will definitely be back again in the future.

We had a wonderful dinner at Terra! We ordered the Bibb & Artisanal Greens, Charred Octopus, Seafood Spaghettini, Australian Rack of Lamb, and Duck Confit—and finished with the Pineapple Upside Down Cake for dessert. Just like our waiter said, every dish was a no-brainer - flavorful and perfectly done. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The flavors were well-balanced, ingredients fresh, and presentation beautiful. It was a truly delightful dining experience - elegant, relaxing, and satisfying from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality meal in a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.

The food here is the standout - everything we ordered was delicious - from the scallop appetizer to the lamb to the dessert at the end of the meal. Service was a tad slower than expected but definitely worth it for the food. Our server was also fantastic! We'll be back!

I haven’t been to Terra Restaurant since the 90’s/early 2000’s (kept forgetting it was there in Thornhill). Still outstanding quality of food & flavours. Service was wonderful & interactive. A gem, north of the City of TO. If you call yourself a “foodie” it’s worth the travel to experience their yummy food. With a cocktail & wine, shared oysters to start, main & shared dessert approx spend is just over $100 (complimentary amuse-bouche). I’m adding pics of the mains (forgot to take other pics). The room itself could use an update but not horrible - just not trendy - more old school. I’d rather eat excellent food than crappy food in a trendy restaurant.

We have already planned for the next visit as our first time just impressed us! must order their gnocchi and charred octopus. The gnocchi texture is a bit crisp out layer and chewy inside with some cheese taste. perfectly cooked. and the charred octopus is well season, there's some purple potato in it, i just love how balance and not heavy this dish is! And the fine dining service put extra points in it. We noticed there's a set menu on Sunday like 59 for 3 course and we would definitely come for it!

Food here is mid. For the price, you can find much better restaurants nearby. Service was good but the kitchen is extremely slow. Took 1 hour to get our mains. The best thing I had all night was the Lobster Sliders and Tuna Tartare. This is my third time here and it improved from the last, but nothing really stood out.

We were supposed to dine Sept 13th for our 26th wedding anniversary but due to a medical treatment we rescheduled Sunday September 14th. We travel 45-60minutes a few times a year because we always have such a great time. Out appetizers excellent, my main was awful, my husband’s great and dessert was ok. The server did not address the concerns of my food I took two bites the fat content was 65-70% it was inedible - I ate a small Caesar salad charged full price. Our anniversary was never acknowledged. I emailed the rest about my disappointment- NO RESPONSE. We will have to find a new place to celebrate our special occasions.

XXI Chophouse has been on my radar for quite some time. Located inside The Doctor's House, if you're looking for an intimate evening with your partner, friends or family this is a place you should really consider. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and take pride in making their guests feel at home. The establishment is stunning, and the food is outstanding. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. My husband booked this for our anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess with a "Happy Anniversary" and as soon as our server came, she wished us one as well, and asked how long we'd been married. Later into our meal, we each received a complimentary glass of Prosecco to toast with, and she recalled we'd been married for 6 years and congratulated us on it. Reading reviews on other sites, I'm not sure that some people have been there recently. I read one review complaining that there was no bread provided to start. We got some. It was fresh and delicious. I read other reviews about waitstaff being slow or not helpful. Our server was sensational. She was knowledgeable, friendly, consistently checking on us for refills, if we were ready for our next course, to clear plates etc. She even went so far as to clear our plates, and bring us new ones, between the 2 appetizers we had ordered. And then, before our steak came, she even wiped down our placemats to clear them of crumbs. Knowing it was our anniversary, they sat us at a table that permitted us complete privacy in the solarium half of the restaurant for the vast majority of our stay (until a larger party sat down roughly 30 minutes before we departed). It should be noted that we requested to take our time and ordered several courses, asked for each one individually, and also stayed for coffee/tea/dessert. We were there for over 2.5 hours. (Had we wanted to move our service along faster, we would have had complete privacy for our entire meal.) We ordered the bone marrow, my husband had 3 Oysters (I don't eat seafood, but if you do, don't skip these - the show is worth it), the prosciutto/burrata flatbread for starters. Having made the choice to have so many starters, we ordered 1 steak and 2 sides to split (the 16 oz NY strip, 21 layers truffle potato, and buffalo brussels). The server took it upon herself to request the steak be sliced, and served to us on a board, so we could easily share it. It was cooked to absolutely (medium rare) perfection and the sides were outstanding. Trust me, you want to order the 21 layer truffle potato! It was my favorite food of the entire night. We then shared the creme brulee, and it did not disappoint, while having espresso and tea. Everything we consumed, including beverages, was worth every penny. Yes, this is fine dining. Yes, it has a high price point. But, its not just that the quality makes it worth it - the portions are actually huge. I would highly recommend coming here for a special occasion. They will treat you with the utmost care. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary celebration!

Very nice place with amazing food that definitely deserves 10 stars if I could give. Every plate that we ordered was perfect, it was just done right: cooked to the desired condition, decorated nicely and simply tasty. The was also good and in time, no errors very pleasant experience with the waiters and wait time for the food wasn't long. P.S. They have free parking for customers, so you can enter the gate and get the ticket to get out.

Awesome 5 star meal and service! Yes it’s fine dining pricing but you get your money’s worth! Shoutout to Ray for his great suggestions and service ! All servers were amazing and the food was the best we have had in a while! Drinks are 5 star and they keep the drinks coming, you are not searching for your servers! Get a dozen oysters ! It’s worth the show! We had steak special for 2 and amazing Octopus.. their fresh veggies are great and their layered potato side is to die for! We found the crowd friendly and not snobbish as other reviews indicated…great night !

I rarely leave reviews and generally am of the opinion if you don't try new places you don't find the hidden gems. On this Occasion this dining experience left me disappointed and has been bothering me so I thought I'd share. First off most of the food was excellent. We ordered the lamb and Salmon and thought bother were Fantastic. But that's as far as it went as the overall experience was very sub-par. They knew it was our anniversary and we received nothing special beyond "I see its you anniversary, congratulations". I Never feel entitled or expect special treatment but for the money (This place is very pricey) I would have expected something.... A simple glass of champagne, a dessert, a mint chocolate on the plate... something. My point is... don't expect them to go the extra mile for you. We ordered The Creme Brule for dessert... completely sub par, portion small, served to thin with the sugar crust much thicker and harder than it should be with very little cream. Not remotely worth the money. We noticed afterwards that we were charged for every refill of a soft drink, and I imagine that goes over to coffee as well. $5 per glass of diet coke. Are they really that desperate to gouge on the small stuff when they are charging $250 for a steak ? Honestly. Service was great at first until a few tables came in ordering $600 bottles of wine, then we were completely ignored and had to ask for our bill 3 times and waited 45 min past when we were ready to leave. Ambiance... trying to hard. We came to this place many times when it was called the doctors house, then they decided to segment off and reno the restaurant into a loud , hip bar style restaurant with incredibly overpriced selections. I don't mind at all paying the high price for quality food, but when you throw in the gouging on the little things, left us with an overall bad experience and honestly we left feeling cheated. You go here when you want to impress a date with the size of your wallet. There are much better choices for steakhouses in the city both for quality of the overall meal and value for the money even at the very high end.

As soon as we walked in, service was top notch. Everything is fully explained to you of how its work. Then its just nonstop delicious foods. Plate after plate. There wasn't a single dish that we didnt like. Went on a Saturday night. 2 people, 1 glass of wine. $263. They have an automatic 18% tip built in. Will be back for special occasions.

Food was 10/10 amazing, atmosphere was super romantic, plus the meat was the juiciest I've ever had at any restaurant! There was no dry meat, everything was cooked to perfection!! They give endless appetizers, the Mac n cheese was my favorite, and desserts (too full to try any). The all-you-can-eat meat is amazing and worth the expensive cost in my opinion! Service could be a little friendlier but overall very amazing experience and will definitely return!!! I recommend!!! Meats they offered that I tried were steak, chicken, shrimp and salmon!

Was out in Oro-Medonte at the spa today heading back to home to Hamilton with heavy traffic on our way home, we decided to eat dinner to avoid some of the heavy traffic and went to Copacabana in Vaughn. We are regular's at Copacabana in Niagara Falls so we opted to go to the Vaughn location as we have done in the past. I must say Jamie one of our Brazilian Meat server was one of the best servers we have had in a long time probably pre-covid days. All the server's and wait staff were on their game tonight. But an extra shout out to Jamie as he often asked us which cut of meat we wanted to come out again and said he made this pineapple especially for us and wanted us to enjoy the extra caramelized effort he made for us... WOW is was one of the BEST pineapple we have had at any Copacabana. Special note the Dry Rub Steak and older cut "Flank" is the bomb. Parmesan Steak is our second favorite. Food was GREAT tasting and service was on point. Good job to all staff today.

This was such an awesome place for food, drinks and a new experience! 💕 The drinks were so good, the food came almost immediately and the steaks were the most delicious I have personally ever eaten and I was at the other Copacabana 😆 definitely a must try once in a lifetime! Great live music, the dancers were so beautiful 🤩 and the melon ball I had was so good I had a couple more! 💯 Recommend

This place is definitely an experience. I wouldn’t be going here often or even more than once. Even with my children eating free on Sunday the bill was $345 for 2 people eating and getting a couple drinks during dinner. Way too expensive for my taste. Food was good, sides were okay, there was a small corse hair in my lasagne side.

Cecilia was a great waitress/server! Very impressed by the service. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Cecilia even gave us cake with a sparkler on it for our anniversary:)

i've been to many brazilian steakhouses in toronto and to this specific copacabana location multiple times now and i can say it's the best among em all! the meats are so perfectly cooked with rich and vibrant flavours, on top of the side dishes being cooked so perfectly too with so much variety... all in all just such a magical experience if you're looking for a special meal to celebrate! it helps that they have competitive deals like ladies night and date night too which competitors do not offer! i will admit, the service is a bit slower than competitors but i think they just get so much business from their great food and deals that it's ok, esp since they're very friendly to make sure you have a good time!

We ate here this week and the food was delicious. It was our 25th anniversary dinner and we couldn’t have asked for a better meal. We ordered mainly seafood dishes and they were the best I’ve had in a very long time. The owner is wonderful and the service was fantastic. Will definitely return to ZiZi.

It’s a nice, bright, and clean place with amazing service located in Woodbridge. Pleasant Italian and Latin music plays in the background, but the interior design is modern and elegant. Calamari Alla Griglia Tender grilled calamari with balsamic vinegar pesto. Fabulous texture - very tender and firm,”meaty” at the same time. A bit spicy with sweet notes. I really liked it! Bistecca ai Ferri A perfectly cooked medium-rare striploin was tender and juicy. I asked to exclude sautéed onions for me, but keep mushrooms. So, my photo is not exactly the same as it normally served. However, it was almost impossible to decide which was better this steak with mushrooms or “Bistecca ZiZi” which is grilled and then sautéed in brandy and cream sauce. The latter was also tender and cooked just to a medium-rare condition as requested. Both steaks ere served with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes, although I think that for a steak sauteed in sauce something with a bit more bitter flavor – like, kale or rapini, - will augment the dish with a more interesting contrast. Cappuccino Truffle At first, we were not impressed by the desert selection, but we gave a try and were amazed by this dish: small pieces of coffee meringue covers soft, gently sweet Cappuccino Gelato. It was a small and simple masterpiece in the European tradition. I have to add that Zizi Trattorria offers not just very good service and gastronomic delights, but also great value as their portions are generous (steaks are 10 oz!) and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for those who live in Vaughan or visiting Wonderland or Vaughn Mills shopping center.

The service was excellent. We enjoyed the grilled calamari and Cesar salad. The seafood pasta sauce was too creamy otherwise would be great. Nice atmosphere. Mostly are local upscale Italian customers.

Great place with great service. There’s a guy there with so much flair. Suave dude. I had the bolognese with spaghetti. Excellent cooking. Food was done to perfection. Highly recommend it if you want quality Italian food.

Visited as part of a large 65th birthday celebration and our first time there. Together with a great bold red wine, we had fried calamari & shrimp, antipasto, pasta w/red sauce, salad, steak w/veggies, and assorted cookies. Every dish was delicious, hot and cooked perfectly. To top it off, our server, Luke, was great, he was attentive, friendly and made sure our water & wine glasses were always topped up. I will definitely be visiting again!

This past Friday my husband and I hosted a welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner for our 65 out-of-town guests attending our daughter’s wedding the following day. We dealt with both Ara and Billy, both true professionals, knowledgeable and friendly. They offered a great menu, great service, fair pricing. Whether you want to go out for dinner as a couple or a large group, we recommend Zizi Trattoria and their sister restaurant Parola. Either location, you will be very satisfied. We had an amazing experience at Zizi’s! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and beautifully presented. Opened in April 2016 by Patricia Tatangelo a Vaughan culinary teacher/legend, this spot brings Chef Gabriella’s acclaimed Italian classics with a fresh and exciting twist, and let me tell you, the food does not disappoint. Their fresh PEI Mussels are a must-try appetizer, bursting with flavor. We also ordered the Caprese Salad, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. For mains, we had the Ribeye 12oz (highly recommend getting it medium rare you won’t regret it!) and the Agnolotti Rose, both prepared to perfection. The service was impeccable, and the bartender crafted some outstanding cocktails that elevated the whole experience. The ambiance was lively, warm, and inviting. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning! My family and I had lunch here and we truly enjoyed everything about this place. From the service to the food. It was such an amazing experience. They serve large portion and it is well worth the price. Everything was delicious!!! I would highly recommend this restaurants.

I came to this restaurant with my friends because we were told how great the Italian food is. I got the margarita pizza and it was delicious. The portion was a perfect size, and the taste was amazing. When we walked in the atmosphere and the restaurant were amazing. Such a great design and concept however when it came to actually getting service. It was very strange and somewhat chaotic. One of my friends asked if the Coke Zero refills were free and the waitress had advised that it was free, we later found out that the Coke zero refills were not free and the waitress charged us every single time we asked for a refill by the end of it. if we had that little information, we would’ve made a different drink selection, but it really comes to show that their lack of communication and mistakes made us pay financially. Additionally, we would ask for refills of water and napkins, and it would take multiple people to have a simple task completed. It was a very unique experience. I just don’t think I would ever come here again. Again the restaurant seems to be like a great atmosphere for people who are looking for Italian cuisine. It was just not for me because I do not value miscommunication and lack of attention to detail.

Made reservations over the phone same day(July 9, 2025). Arrived and seated on time 745pm, place was pretty much empty by 9pm. Had the Calamari for app and was fresh and amazing. Rib Eye cooked to perfection. Always have to get the Tiramisu. Service was great. Keep up the great work.

Best Italian food I had so far..we have tried gnochhi pasta with rose suace. We were confused like which sauce we should try then the person who was taking the order (can’t remember the name) have suggested us for rose sauce.. and drink was also good… not much sugar syrup.. tasted natural… highly recommended place for Italian vegetarian food.

Got the Chicken Supreme and it was a Supreme let down. Menu states it's served with mash potatoes how ever it is not. Sauce reduction was tasty how ever I would recommend sticking to pasta if you order here. Veggie portion is pretty sad as well.

Initially upon arrival Baton Rouge seems like a more upscale dining experience. When approaching the host stand, there were three girls behind the host stand. One girl seem to be working on the computer seating chart, the other two were standing off to the side and seem to be the ones that would take the customer to their seats. No one greeted us. We stood there momentarily until the girl finished on the computer and looked up and said hi with no smile. We indicated that we wanted to sit in the bar. Simply because I wanted to watch the sports on TV as did my partner. The girl at the computer directed one of the girls to take us to a table. We sat down I went to use the washroom. The washroom was clean and smelled good - good sign. The waitress approach the table she was professional but lacked any sort of positive energy. She took our drink order and made no other suggestions. We looked over the menu, and discussed what we wanted to eat. The server came back and delivered our drinks and took our order. My partner ordered calamari as a starter, and a sirloin steak with rice as the side. She asked for her steak to be medium rare. I ordered the rib steak to be cooked medium with the side to be the fully loaded baked potato. I also ordered a starter French onion soup. A runner brought the french onion soup first, and shortly thereafter came the calamari. A few bites in, the server stopped by to see how things were. The French onion soup was good but not exceptional I would rate it as a 3.5 out of five. My partner like the calamari but said that it lacked enthusiasm. I asked her what she meant, and she said that it was basic but had no extra flavor to it that would set it apart from any other bar type calamari. I tried it found it to be a little Bland and somewhat chewy however she said that's normal. I asked her to rate the calamari she said it was about a 2.5 out of five. Another table check from the server and shortly after our meals came. My partner's steak was cooked medium and mine was cooked medium rare. It would seem that the kitchen got the cooking backwards. I asked my partner if she wanted to send it back, but she said she would live with it it was okay but I found that the medium rare cook on my rib steak made the steak very chewy and difficult to eat. The server came by I asked for some sour cream for the baked potato and pointed out the kitchen had cooked them backwards. The server asked me if I would like my steak cooked a little bit longer I indicated that I would, she came back with a separate plate took my steak back to the kitchen to cook a little bit longer. She also indicated that she mentioned it to the manager and the manager would stop by to speak with us, I told her that wasn't necessary but she insisted. The manager came to the table with my steak and a new fully loaded baked potato. I told the manager that I would not be able to eat to baked potatoes and I was okay with the one that I had. He said keep it if you want to take it home that's fine with me and then he said that he would have something special for my partner for the miss-cook on her steak. The manager was very nice very polite and considerate good smile on his face great Professional Service made us feel very welcome. And he apologize many times for the mistake which happens from time to time so I don't really hold that against the restaurant, considering after I asked him to fix the cook on my steak they did and it tasted amazing! Overall the dinner was very good in spite of the cook error, the vegetables were excellent the potato was excellent and I found a service to be very good. It would have been nice if our server had been a little bit more friendly, as we saw her being more friendly with other customers perhaps they were more regular than we were. My partner rated her steak a 4/5, in spite of it not being as she asked. Once my steak was cooked correctly, I would rate it a 5/5, full of flavor and cook perfectly. As a side note, the manager did return with a gift certificate for my partner for the cook on her steak. Overall 4/5.

The best part about the experience was the service - our server Ana bumped up the score. The atmosphere is dark - could use a reno. The food was very mid. The calamari was tasteless and look like it came out of a bag and thrown in the fryer. The burger was underseasoned, and the chicken was average - pretty much what you can expect from a restaurant chain.

Ordered Mushroom Chicken and it was very salty did not enjoy it. Service could have been better. The server didn't really come around to refill the water in our glasses or clear off tables before bringing out other items that were ordered. Gratuity was on the bills automatically and for the service provided it did not seem fair to have to pay so much on the bill.

The atmosphere was OKAY, nothing fancy just another chain restaurant, décore is dark and can be updated/cleaned. I’ve eating at numerous Baton Rouge’s restaurants (Ontario and Quebec) this location was the worst. The food was even good enough to be taken home (I couldn’t even finish my food) was just horrible, the look of my “prime rib” the texture alone scared me, it tasted old, soggy and just wrong. Their special Mac n cheese … (I prefer Kraft dinner .. it has more flavor) the drinks was fine, our server was a lovely young lady and she was awesome but I could tell she knew we didn’t enjoy our food. The pretzel was the highlight of our night…The ribs were old and dry, including the shrimps, rubber texture and no flavor besides the bottled sauce…even the French fries were just OKAY. I will not be returning to this location. I actually adore Baton Rouge but not this location they need new management, new chefs, new décore just a whole new VIBE.

We had a wonderful experience at Baton Rouge! Our waiter, Peter, was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The food was very fresh, the ribs just fell off the bone! We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.

We’ve been dining at this location since it first opened, and we still enjoy it just as much as we did on our very first visit. The food and drinks are always consistent, delicious, and generously portioned, and the service never disappoints. A special thank you to our server, Chris, who took great care of us and made sure everything we needed was looked after. The ribs are incredibly tender and tasty.

Nicolina was great, service was 10/10, she was quick, attentive, made good conversation and ensured we had a good experience overall. The food and drinks were just okay. For a place that has so many great reviews for their steak it sure did disappoint. 3 of us ordered the same thing - NY strip, medium rare. Everyone’s steak was cooked differently, the presentation and sides were just okay.

Very good Italian food. They gave a bread refill without asking, extra points! Pizza was classic, the risotto was a bit on the saltier side but still good, steak may have liked it a bit med rare, fish was only ok compared to the rest it was not as seasoned. Happy to come back again.

Outstanding flavours, impeccable service! Enjoyed a delicious family dinner at Villaggio last night. The Pasta, pizza and steak entrees were all mouth watering and cooked to perfection which reflects the wide range of expertise that the chefs deliver in every dish. Plating is meticulous and very aesthetically pleasing as are the rich flavours in each meal. Sausage pasta was cooked to perfection, pizza was crispy and flavourful and the mouth watering steak was tender with amazing flavors that were embedded in the herb infused butter. The atmosphere is relaxing and servers are so attentive, friendly and not at all intrusive. The collaboration between kitchen and service staff is palpable! Thank you for a wonderful evening and we will be back soon!

First time here, and the food was really good! Everything from the seafood salad to the pizza was delicious. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.

A classy Italian restaurant with amazing food! The Alfredo was rich and perfectly balanced, and the tiramisu was simply delightful. A wonderful place for a memorable meal.

I’ve been to Villagio before and have really enjoyed it, but this recent visit didn’t quite meet the same standard. My friend and I were seated on the patio, which we were excited about, but unfortunately we were placed in an odd corner right up against the brick wall of the restaurant. It was extremely hot and there seemed to be no air circulation in that spot, which made it pretty uncomfortable. On a positive note, the Burrata was absolutely delicious, definitely the highlight of the meal. We each ordered a different risotto to try something new, and while it looked great, we felt it was lacking in flavour, possibly just needing a touch more seasoning or salt. Even with fresh cheese added on top, it didn’t quite come together for us. A small suggestion for the restaurant: it would really elevate the patio experience to have some background music playing. It was so quiet that even soft conversations felt a bit too public. The tables are quite close together, so you can clearly hear the people beside you, which takes away from the atmosphere a bit. Overall, I still enjoy Villagio and hope to have a better experience next time. Just a few small improvements could make a big difference.

This is a great Italian restaurant. Food and service is amazing. I went for my birthday dinner and ordered the cacio e pepe gnocchi; it was amazing!

A friend brought me here for lunch on a Tuesday. It's a cute restaurant with a warm and cozy ambience. The waiters were very hospitable, and the food was made with love! My only concern with this place is that we had to wait an hour for our dishes, despite being one of only two tables seated at the time. I really hope that was just a one time thing, and wont happen again next time.

Had a wonderful dinner here celebrating a family members birthday. Amazing Italian food! Our server Billy was lovely. The zucchini flowers and calamari as appetizers were delicious. I ordered the linguine vongole as my main, loved every bite. Ask for their chilli oil. Will definitely be back!

Came to dinner last night with some friends for a birthday. Had the most amazing dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and our server Mick was fantastic. The ambience in the restaurant was perfect. Drinks were great and food was top tier. Truly authentic cooking. We had the best time and look forward to returning.

We had an excellent experience last night — both the food and the service were outstanding. Our party of eight included two young children, and the staff took care of them right away. They loved their meals, which made the evening even more enjoyable for everyone. Our server, Pino, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and spot-on with his cocktail, wine, and food recommendations. We started by sharing a variety of delicious appetizers from both menus, and for my main course, I had the veal chop with mushrooms and truffle. Absolutely incredible! Highly recommend.

Andrea looked after us and was absolutely superb. The ambience was excellent, and he essentially ordered for us—the food was spectacular. It’s about a 40-minute drive from where we live, but well worth it. We’ll definitely be back, and this spot is now officially in our rotation! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Extremely disappointed place, service and food - would not recommend! Visited this restaurant with friends today at 12:30 PM. Despite the dining room being half empty, the service was painfully slow. We spent almost three hours there, and the entire time it felt like we were a burden to the staff. Our server acted like he was doing us a favor every time he came over, never smiled once, and was nearly impossible to flag down. At one point, he even leaned over and bumped into guests at the table with his stomach to reach items, all without a single apology or even a hint of a smile. It was shockingly unprofessional and uncomfortable. Basic service expectations were completely ignored. No one offered us bread, olive oil, vinegar, or even lemon for the water - not even as a paid option. In an Italian restaurant, this is the bare minimum. The lack of attention to these details just added to the overall feeling of neglect. The food was just as disappointing. Each dish took about an hour to arrive - even the simple ones. The grilled calamari was overcooked and bitter. I ordered a whole grilled sea bass, but was served a pile of skinless, boneless fish fillets swimming in oil on a large plate. It looked messy and tasted just as bad - greasy and flavorless. The spaghetti with crab was a tiny portion for $68, with only a little crab that was still in the shell. My friend had to dig it out with a fork herself. The fried calamari and shrimp tasted boiled rather than fried - the batter was soggy and soft, with zero crispness. To make matters worse, several girls felt sick on the way home, which really raises concerns about food safety and quality. I dine out frequently and never write bad reviews, but when an expensive restaurant in Kleinburg delivers such subpar service and food, it deserves to be called out. Strongly do not recommend. Total waste of time and money.

A charming Italian restaurant with dedicated and capable staff that enhance the dining experience the moment you arrive! The pastas are wonderfully dressed in the sauce and are quite rich. Every bite of the meals that were brought on the table brought smiles to everyone's face. The appetizers were good portions to share so were the desserts. This would be a great choice if you'd like to treat someone for a special event.

Food was delicious. It's a bit pricey but absolutely delicious. Large portions for the pasta. I recommend the steak...cooked to perfection. The appetizers are delicious.⁹

We had the pleasure of dining here for my wife's birthday celebration. My children loved the calamari and the pasta dishes we had were really delicious. The only negative experience I would bring up is the birthday dessert provided to us. I would expect a better quality tiramisu for the price. The portion was very conservative and it was pretty dry. Lastly, most places would offer complimentary fresh bread for starters. I was surprised to see a charge for the bread. Not a big deal. Overall, food and place is good.

A real home run. When we first drove up in a strip mall we thought, another Italian restaurant in a strip plaza. But when we got in we couldn't believe what the did with the interior of the location. Very well decorated and didn't feel like we were going to a strip plaza. Desires they're a great job. Furthermore the food service and total atmosphere was very good. I took my daughter and wife here yesterday for dinner, I have to say we all had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and fresh. We all enjoyed our individual meals. The service was next level. I was so impressed with Lucien, this guy is on a whole new level with clients experience and service, absolutely the best. First time dining here, but definitely not our last! The service is fantastic, very attentive and helpful. I had the linguine with scallops and lobster tail, so good! But the best thing of all was the fresh baked bread, steaming hot, SO good! This is likely our new go to authentic Italian spot.

An authentic Italian dining experience at Zafferano Ristorante! This review is from December 30th (5:00 pm), but we still wanted to share our rave review! We visited Zafferano for a holiday dinner with family. There were 13 of us and we sat on the left side near the bar, which was more private. The menu offered a fantastic selection of traditional and modern Italian dishes. Some of the dishes our immediate family ordered were Calamari Fritti, Wild Mushroom Ravioli, The Butcher’s Cut steak with tiger shrimp, and Galleto Al Forno. I wish I took more photos. All of the dishes were absolutely perfect—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with quality ingredients - our compliments to the chefs!! Our server, Alessia, provided excellent service and was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She answered questions and attended to our large group with ease. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with family and friends. Overall, Zafferano Ristorante delivers an unforgettable Italian dining experience. Whether you’re a pasta lover, a pizza enthusiast, or a secondi connoisseur, this place is worth every bite! We ate here this past Saturday and I must say everything was excellent. The food was hot, delicious and the portions were decent. Although it was at full capacity, service did not lack. Our server was Victoria and she is wonderful! She was attentive and filled our glasses with water without us having to ask. She replaced a fork in record time and she had a great disposition despite being a busy evening. Would definitely recommend!

The food was decent—nothing spectacular, but it did the job. Now, if you're into testing your patience, the service here will give you plenty of opportunity. We arrived at 7:30 pm, and our food didn’t arrive until 9:40 pm. Even something as simple as asking for an extra fork or a cup of ice took way longer than expected. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy for a Friday night, so with how slow the service was, you'd think they were running a "how long can we make you wait" challenge. If you’ve got time to kill and aren’t in a rush, it might be worth a visit, but definitely not the place if you're hungry and looking for a quick meal!

A perfect intimate venue for your special party. The service was exceptionally good for a party of 60 or so. The wait staff continuously attended to our food and beverage requests. The cocktails and drinks were on point. The antipasto bar was well presented, varied and delicious. Highlight was the perfectly cooked signature fried calamari and accompanying dip. The gnocchi in rose sauce was served hot. The fresh tender pasta was enveloped with a sumptuous sauce. The Frenched Veal Chop was cooked to medium for all guests. It was flavourful and tender. I typically prefer my steaks medium rare but given the quality of this cut of meat, I had no issues eating it. The venue, meal and staff were a delight.

Today, we went to Zafferano for my father in laws birthday. We had dinner, with 7 adults and 2 toddlers. Everything was great. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was yummy! If you're eating as an Italian, the cost per person can easily be $40-$50. If not more. But it was worth it. We will definitely come back!

When I first went here years ago the food was great and so was the service. Now the food is good and the service is almost nonexistent. I shouldn't have to wait from a reservation at 7:30 until 8:20 to have the food start. Nobody came to check if we needed other drinks or a refill on our water. So many places expect a tip and you barely get service this is one of those places.

Tried the All you can eat buffet. Was really worth the money. It was my first time trying a sushi place and I didn't know how to properly handle a chopstick. Better YouTube ahead and learn the basics. The staff were really polite and courteous. The orders were placed thru a tab and they started serving instantly. The service was really lightning fast. As I said earlier this cuisine was new to me but I really enjoyed it. They had a ton of options to choose from and ull surely get confused. Must try ! (P.S. they charge extra if u waste food.. Which is good👍)

Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Every item came out so fast and made-to-order. The staff are very nice, polite and hospitable. The patio was open and had a roof in case it rains. A lot of parking spots available. Overall everything was very good.

This was my first Teppanyaki experience and I am in complete awe and utterly speechless. I am very happy, pleased, satisfied and entertained, it was so much fun! I'd pay anyone who gives good service since it's hard to find these days. Definitely coming back! Was very much worth every dime, penny and dollar.

The all you can eat isn't worth it. They don't have much of a variety and the only thing that changes is whether they add cucumbers or avocados with different sauces. The rolls they give you has Soo much rice. It feels like they put so much rice to try and fill you up faster.

I tried the all you can eat lunch menu and found the food to be very good. Their dinner menu is more elaborate. Will have to go back next time and try their dinner menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Rick took great care of us and the blonde server (sorry I didn’t catch her name), making sure we had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made our visit even more special. I truly enjoyed my time here, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Gran Gusto Ristorante for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious meal!

Calamari was delicious 🤌 could eat the whole regular plate myself. Found out my 2 year old loves it too. The atmosphere was calming, homey, servers were attentive but left you alone to enjoy your meal, which was nice. The Margherita pizza was not what I'm used to, didn't have the slices of mozzarella or enough fresh basil, looked like a regular cheese pizza, but was pleasantly surprised that they had a wood-oven!

Don’t let the outside of this place fool you because it is amazing! Nonna size portions that leave you feeling like you just came from her house (complete with plenty of leftovers to go home with!!). We loved everything. Apps were all delicious, especially the arancini. Pizza was great. Classic wood burning oven, thinner crispy crust, lots of toppings. Pasta & gnocchi (huge portions!!!) were all delicious and lots of sauce/meat/veg depending on the chosen dish. Staff were very accommodating to our larger group and split bills without any issue. Another huge bonus that I feel is often overlooked, ALL of our food came out at the exact same time piping hot. It was magic! Already planning our next visit. Wish I took more photos - especially of the amazing apps/restaurant but didn’t want to kill the vibe! Love this little place!

Come here ready to eat...the portions are healthy. We visited here with a group, so we were able to try multiple dishes. The calamari was excellent & not overcooked like most places. The pizza speaks for itself from the pictures alone; excellent taste with tons of toppings. The chicken parmegiana was also very good but I would have liked if I could have subbed the penne/spaghetti for a different pasta instead of needing to order gnocchi separately. Nonetheless it was an excellent experience with great service and I will be coming back. Next on the list to try: Lasagna!

If you like old school, delicious Italian food in a pleasant and unpretentious environment, this is the place for you. Pizza was amazing with wonderful crust and sauce. Rapini and sausage pasta excellent. Caesar salad was delicious, with just a hint of anchovies that was perfect. Friendly and inviting place for casual dining with great service!

One of the best places to make pizza. I ate the whole pie. I never finish more than quarter of any pie. Very light, delicious and made by a pro Food avd service were of first class rate Tirmasu was very balanced. Not soaked and perfectly semi sweet. What a gem restaurant 🙌

They give you a warm and salty focaccia to start with which is very delicious! We got the calamari and shared a pizza as appetizers which were my favourites of the night. The pizza crust is thin and the sauce and cheese is delicious! I ordered the sausage and mushroom gnocchi for my main which was decent, the gnocchi was pretty bland I would not order it again. I’d rather order one of their other pasta and pizza dishes instead. The other people in our party got the carbonara pasta which was good. We also got a lava cake and tiramisu for dessert which were pretty yummy, the portions were just so tiny for how much it cost. The dessert is not really worth it in my opinion. Overall we had a good time and the atmosphere and service was nice. I would come back for the focaccia, calamari, and pizza!

Started right from the hostess, Cassandra was awesome hilarious genuine sweet and kind. Made us laugh. Enrico is a class act and was great as usual. Food was on par and enjoyed by all.

What a great experience, theidea of a different menu every month . From different regions is absolutely fantastic. Today was the region of "Abruzzo". Some pictures I will share from the delicious food. Service on point, super service. We were a table of 14 and is difficult to get everything correct, but for us was just perfect. Tha ks so much for the team. Cocktail are pricey but worth it. I have a paper plane and my friendsartini expresso. Worth every penny you pay for the food. Will be back for an special occasion.

Tried Giro for the first time & it did not disappoint. Caught the last day of the Lazio region menu, which is my favorite. The Rigatoni Alla Zozzona was incredible - perfectly al dente. The Amatriciana Sbagliata pizza was also an excellent appetizer - very thin and flavorful. Looking forward to trying the monthly region specials next time!

An intimate restaurant with perfect lighting, excellent service and delicious food! What more can you ask for ? We had a late dinner on a weeknight around 8pm and stayed till after close. We hadn't realized the closing time so I felt bad after, sorry guys !! But the staff did not make us feel rushed at all. Will definitely be returning :)

The place is a hidden gem! Outside of the store definitely doesn’t represent the atmosphere inside. It’s a nice authentic restaurant. You can spot a beautiful pizza oven and the kitchen from were you are sitting. They handled a group of 10 perfectly. The sitting was nicely done. What I loved the most about it is that the menu represents different part of Italy. They have a monthly theme on their menu. This month’s was Sicilian cuisine. Everyone loved their food. I personally DID NOT like the LEEK as vegetable on my plate… it should be killed off of the menu…you cannot bring cake from outside as there is an additional plate fee if you do so however our waiter Marco was great and he didn’t charge us. The bills were handled perfectly and no mistakes were made for a large group. Great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I m a huge Napoli pizza fan! Giro has great authentic pizza, which made me been here twice during one week! The blu mare pasta is excellent! Only thing I m not very satisfied is the sangria, which was little bit watery, like too much juice or spritz instead of wine. But overall I love this restaurant, will def come back again!

Nice ambience and delicious food. Servers were very kind and helpful. Service was slower when the larger parties arrived. Waited 30-45 minutes after finishing our food until a server checked in and we could ask for the bill.

Philoxenia is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, it feels like you’ve stepped into a family kitchen in Greece. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender, the moussaka was rich and comforting, and the baklava was amazing!! What sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s welcoming without being rushed, and the staff treat you like family. They take the time to explain dishes and even offer recommendations that hit the mark every time. Whether you’re familiar with Greek cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is an absolute gem.

Philoxenia is now my go-to spot for Greek food. Everything tastes so fresh, like it was just made at home. I ordered the veggie moussaka and it was incredible, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Service was quick and friendly, and you can tell the staff really care about making sure everyone has a great time. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable, and you leave already planning your next visit. If you love Greek food (or even if you just love good food), you need to eat here. Five stars, no question!

Food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Price is on the high side but with valid reasons. We had beet salad, Greek sea salt baked fish (2 lbs Mediterranean seabass), lamb chops, and loukoumadis as dessert. All are delicious. I especially enjoyed the lamb chops. The baked fish's portion was small after having been deboned by the server. We reckoned that we should have asked to skip the deboning because we could handle fish bones very well ourselves.

I was visiting Toronto and decided to have a dinner at this place as i like Mediterranean kitchen. Very “authentic” design - and i mean it in a good way. Place is busy so make reservations - i got lucky, but had i come 30 min later - likely would not get it. Prices are above average but worth every penny. I knew i would not be able to finish everything i ordered but i could not help it - both scallops and chicken breast were above the average. Sauces were with just the right touch of garlic. Service was courteous and not pushy. I had no room in my stomach for desert which i regret as it all looked delish

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. Their lunch menu contains a great selection served with either soup or spring roll for a very decent price (not to mention a generous portion). For under $15 the quality of food here was impressive. The staff is very kind and do not hesitate to cater to your needs. The restaurant is clean and cozy and I believe there is patio seating as well.

We went to Truly Thai Cuisine on a weekday late lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty when we walked in, so we got a seat right away. We saw the specials outside and wanted to try the Coconut Shrimps (6 pieces for $9.99). The shrimps were smaller than we expected. It was kind of expensive with how much we got, but there was a strong coconut flavour and it was pretty good overall. For drinks we got the Iced Coffee ($4.95) and Mango Smoothies (2 for $10). The drinks were really good, the coffee was very sweet, it had a strong coffee flavour and very creamy. You can definitely tell the smoothies were made with real mango, they were so good. Next we got the Crab Fried Rice ($15.99) which was a bit sweeter than expected for a fried rice but it had a lot of crab so that made it worth it. We also got Pad See Ew with Beef ($15.50) and this dish was really sweet for some reason. We had Pad See Ew from many other Thai places before and it was more savoury. Overall, all the dishes were quite sweet here, so if you like sweet you would love it. This is a small restaurant and the owner was very kind, she made sure we had enough water and checked in on us. We love supporting local businesses!

An ok service, food was OK, could be better tasting. Golden Chicken curry was good, just thought there were too many potatoes. Basil Fried Rice was not that great, quite blend. The Pad Thai noodles were OK.

Tried this place today and it was just OK. The Pad Thai was maybe a little under seasoned and the noodles were over so it was very sticky/clumpy. Tried the shrimp and veg spring rolls and they were great, very fresh ingredients. I would definitely go back, the staff was very polite and attentive.

I looked around hard and long for some authentic thai...then I Truly was amazed to find this treasure. Nestled in a little corner off Rutherford road lay this Truly Thai Cuisine restaurant. It was small and cozy. I ordered the sea food special with the steamed rice ..spicy. It definitely played drum rolls with my palette. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the sauce was a mix of sweet and tangy. I poured it all over the rice. Overall a good experience. I will definitely return to try more of the menu !

If your looking for authentic Thai food and nearby Vaughan this place is highly recommended. I really enjoyed every dish they have in their menus. I've had this dish called Tom yum soup with seafood and sticky rice with fresh cut mangoes. This soup is great for two people and it's either you eat it as soup or with rice bowl. Vary your own diet and appetite you still won't regret a thing. Their service is Phenomenal. Very attentive and welcoming. They have a great cozy place and that outdoor patio that have just discovered. Only thing I would suggest for my own personal taste is to have tom yum with coconut base soup. ❤@foodtravelandwellness

Delicious and authentic Thai food! The food were big portions and were of good value. Tried the chicken pad thai and it was seasoned well with enough sauce and toppings. The mango sticky rice was also a delicious dessert - a must try! The server and owners were very friendly and nice.

Kyoto Sushi provided a delightful dining experience that I’ll definitely return for! The ambiance was cozy, with a modern yet authentic Japanese vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met promptly. While most of the sushi was fresh and flavorful, a couple of rolls didn’t quite hit the mark, lacking the complexity I expected. However, the overall experience was fantastic, with great presentation and a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated the attention to detail and the variety on the menu. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more!

I had such a great experience at Kyoto Sushi in Vaughan! Tiffany took care of us and she was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire visit. She made sure everything we needed was taken care of and checked in on us with a smile. On top of the amazing service, the food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The combination of great food and Tiffany’s outstanding customer service really made the experience memorable. The food here is great. Authentic Chinese food. The place is a bit run down but the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend getting the lobster or dim sum. The noodles with beef and bean sprouts in soya sauce is 👌👌

Just celebrated my birthday with my family and children. The atmosphere gave it a real authentic feel to it. The food was to perfection, and their service was over and beyond. Their drinks was great as well. We ordered the steamed crab and deep fried lobster Hong Kong style.. we also got to choose the live lobster and crab which made everything a more enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!!

One of the best Chinese seafood restaurant in the GTA and is the best one in Vaughan. The food here is always fresh and you can definitely taste it every time. You know it’s a good Chinese food spot when the fried rice is 👌. Lobster/crab is sold per pound and you get to pick it from the tank. Pricey when compared to local non-authentic Chinese food in the area, but actually really good when compared to other seafood spots in the city. We come here often as it doesn’t get so busy and it’s never really empty. Service is excellent but may be a bit slow when it’s busy. Oh, and imo they have the best roasted and Peking duck. Even better than Yummy wok at JnF. Highly recommended!

This was our first time coming here, we were in the area & felt like Chinese food. The food was delicious, it was fresh, hot, good portion sizes. The service was nor bad, a little bit slow in terms of not everything coming out at the same time. We loved the atmosphere, very authentic feeling. We saw on Google that they had Dim Sum but when we went they didn't give us a Menu. This could be because it's only sold at certain times. We weren't too sure, but we found items that we wanted & they were all delicious. A bit pricey, but we would go back.

Decided to try this place for the first time and it was pretty good overall. Good service and tasty food made for a nice experience. My only complaint is that the dishes are kinda small for the $15 average price tag per plate which adds up after you order a few. Fan favourites were the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Sweet and Sour Pork and the Minced Pork with Eggplant in a hot pot was really good too. Dim sum was good and the Shrimp rolls were really tasty 👌🏼

Tiny restaurant situated at the busiest parking lot in Vaughan. Certain dim sums were surprisingly small - the glutinous rice meat wrap in lotus leaf, crystal and custard buns... all bite size. I was delighted to see 3 flavored steamed crystal buns on their menu, as the restaurants I frequent does not serve them, but like I mentioned earlier... they were miniature buns. The pan fried short ribs were tasty, but the deep fried crispy milk rolls were all batters and hard to chew - they were overly crunchy. The place is decent if you don't mind the portion of the dishes. The servers were pleasant and attentive, and the booth I was at was cozy and offered a bit of privacy. Great place to have dim sum before shopping at VMills or spending the day at Wonderland.

While on vacation from the Midwest USA we were looking for a place we could take our kids to dinner. A lot of the places in the area had wine glasses and white tablecloths. Many said they were kid friendly, but I didn’t really trust taking my 12 and 3 year old to those establishments. Fortunately we came across Gelato Gelato, which was not only comfortable, but more reasonably priced, and offered real desert that would appease all (gelato). We shared Caesar salad, pepperoni and a prosciutto pizza, and all picked our own cup of gelato. After a long day of travel, this was an enjoyable dinner. I highly recommend giving them a visit.

The food was incredible. Came out so quickly and steaming hot. My pasta was perfectly Al-dente and the pizza tasted like it came out of an oven in Italy. The pistachio gelato took me back to Venice. 10/10 such a good family restaurant

Great service. Had the Calabrese pizza, really good, fresh, and authentic. Prepared very quickly. My friend had the pepperoni. Also had a really nice cappuccino and Torrone and Zuppa Inglese gelato.

Came in for an ice cream. Pretty good ice cream but a little too cold all around which impacts the flavour! Definitely tasted better elsewhere.
