If it wasn't for the nice and friendly service and other food items that were good, I would give this 1 star. We paid $15.45 plus tax for this "avocado toast breakfast" and the avocado was barely on the bread, it tasted sour, not fresh, and processed. The egg and bread was fine, but the home fries were not made well. Overall, I would not get this item again and advise either this location or Aroma overall to re-evaluate this item and the quality of it if they are gonna charge such a price.

This place has a serious hygiene problem. The floor dirty and Brocken, the washroom is nasty 🤢 Kids come there and do homework so it’s loud and crowded. They don’t clear the tables! I had to clear the plate that left from previous visitors, and all others that came had to do the same, that’s not normal! I rather go to Starbucks than this place. The was good but who knows what they do in the back of the front looks like that 😔

There was a pleasant buzz of conversation, but it never felt overwhelming, allowing for a truly enjoyable experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. My order, a classic cappuccino and a freshly baked pastry, was prepared with care and brought to my table promptly. The cappuccino was expertly crafted, with rich, bold espresso and perfectly frothed milk, creating a truly satisfying beverage. The pastry was equally impressive, flaky and delicious, clearly baked with attention to detail. What truly sets Aroma apart is their commitment to quality ingredients and a genuine passion for what they do. You can taste the freshness in every bite and sip. It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a place where you can unwind, enjoy high-quality food and drink, and feel genuinely looked after. My visit to Aroma Espresso Bar was a wonderful experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next one.

I went today to get my favorite drink; the iced chocolate. I was so excited and looked forward to it all day that I would get to go and get it because I love it so much. I got there and was met with rude staff, who refused to serve me and was looking on their phone. I am a teenage girl and was confused but then realized maybe they didn’t like me because I was a teenager. I didn’t let that stop me and i ordered from the machine, but then when they handed me my drink, it was definitely not what I had ordered. I sent it back for them to only give me the exact same thing and was met with a lot of attitude. The staff used to be so nice and I am very disappointed. I did not drink my drink and will be leaving a more thorough complaint.

Very disappointed. As a loyal customer for many years, I’ve never had such a terrible experience. The drink I received was poorly made and undrinkable—it had chunks in it that couldn’t be strained out no matter how hard I tried. Don’t you check your products before serving them to customers? I strongly suggest better training for staff, especially to ensure the ingredients (like milk) are properly checked before preparing drinks.

Every year I order about 30 drinks from this location to celebrate my team at work. This year's experience made me write a review because it was just amazing. From the phone inquiry to actually picking up the drinks I was really impressed with the qualiy of service. The drinks were packed perfectly!! Staff are attentive, friendly, and considerate. Ok, I have been going to this location for a couple years now and I’ve given it plenty of chances. The staff are wonderful, very kind. But why is there no consistency in your coffees ! 😩 drinks that should be sweetened, are bitter, always! I even ask for extra sweet cream or extra flavour of whatever it is that I’m ordering and still it comes tasting bitter. Also there is never enough ice, although every size has their own size scoop, so I don’t get it. Please review how to build your drinks ! It matters. Thank you

It's truly delightful to find a spot where one can savor a quick coffee. The ambiance seems perfect for those moments when you just want to unwind and relax. When I arrived there was only two girls there and it seemed like it was a bit busy. They were still very friendly, took and made the drinks properly in a timely manner. Will definitely be back, thank you!

Best location for service, especially my favourites, Himmy and Gabe! I’m an ‘every-morning’ customer and at that hour, I really value friendly and efficient service. Himmy and Gabe consistently deliver both…they’re warm, welcoming and always on point. They make my mornings better with their great energy and helpful demeanour. Couldn’t ask for a better start to the day!

Went out with a few girlfriends for dinner. The food was good but not outstanding. The best part was their desserts! Ordered a freshly squeezed carrot ginger juice, however there was not even a hint of ginger in it, just pure carrots. The service was great at times but then we didn't see our server for almost half an hour. The patio is nice if you don't mind a very loud and noisy Young street with emergency sirens and overall loud vibe.

We went and had our Brunch eat out on a Sunday Morning. It was our first time visiting the place, and what can i say the environment as we walked in up until we were seated was an amazing experience. Very clean, neat and fancy with classic interior giving a very vintage vibe which i LOVED. Speaking of FOOD well the pictures pretty much speak for themselves we took recommendations from our very nice, kind and friendly server Victoria 😬 She really knew her menu and was attentive to details which i appreciated very much. She even gave us a complimentary Nutella filled dessert at the end, saying cause we were so sweet to her 🥹I really like to spread positivity around every where i go, and didn’t expect anything back but nevertheless she went above and beyond with her services. As a server myself, i give my Kudos to our server Victoria ✌️ and i will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back for sure 😊 I truly 💯recommend the place! 🤗

Had the opportunity for brunch at Cafe Landwer in North York. It was a beautiful September day, tons of sun, great for a patio, but we decided to stay inside as it was a tad nippy. With so many people outside, the service staff had to keep coming in and out of the patio doors and each time it would create a vacuum and blow everything around, especially on our table. Napkins kept flying off the table, my papers kept flying off, it was a bit unwelcome and difficult to sit. The menu is an interesting read, because I feel it doesnt describe the vibe or food well. Nothing caught my eye on paper, yet every dish that went by us in a servers hand made me ask, "what dish is that?". Its exactly that which landed me my eggs on pita dish. My partner unfortunately had been waiting almost 25min, through the start and end of a tea, only to find out the one dish she wanted which was the Berry Bliss French Toast was not available at all. I dont know how at noon on a Saturday you are already out of one of your few sweet dishes. She settled for the Arayes - think of spiced lamb burger patty shoved into a pita and grilled. Delicious. Our server was wonderful and attentive and the vibe is very cute and café-ish. Prices were reasonable and would possibly return, but only if they had the dishes on the menu we wanted ans weren't sold out.

I loved this place! The restaurant’s style is super cool and stylish, and the staff are genuinely kind. Even though we arrived during a busy time, they were thoughtful enough to change our table, and when the food took a little longer, they kept checking in to make sure we were happy. The food itself was amazing! The hummus is truly next level, it tastes just like authentic Middle Eastern hummus, and all the dishes we tried were delicious and very filling. I left completely satisfied. Such a great spot!

We had a lovely brunch at Cafe Landwer today — just the three of us: dad, mom, and our daughter. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was impressively fast — we barely waited 10 minutes between ordering and receiving our food, even though it was a busy Sunday around 11am. What stood out right away was how kid-friendly the restaurant is. Our daughter was given a fun activity sheet with coloring, puzzles, and little crafts, along with a set of pencils. It kept her completely entertained while we waited — a small touch that made a big difference for us as parents. We ordered the Sinia Shakshuka, Homemade Hummus with Cauliflower, and Belgian Waffles for our daughter. Drinks included a cappuccino, a fresh lemonade, and a strawberry milkshake. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better — flavorful, fresh, and well-presented. You can tell they put care into every dish. The indoor space was about 60% full when we arrived, and the patio was nearly packed. By the time we finished eating, there was already a line forming for a table — a clear sign that this place is a local favorite. We paid around $100 for the three of us, which felt fair for the quality, service, and overall experience. Definitely a spot we’d come back to — especially for brunch with kids.

The service was good. Though I don’t get why the chicken shawarma needs to be this drenched in oil. I’ve had much better shawarmas at much cheaper price points. The bread was doughy and not well cooked

Tried this coffee not so long ago. Really nice taste and lovely packages. I am in love with coconut and huzelnut flavors. Also I noticed that they have some teas. Tried only peppermint tea so far. It was delicious! Can't wait to try more flavors.

This cafe has been a go-to spot, particularly when I’m craving matcha ice cream! The vibe is super cute— definitely a place where you can snap a few aesthetic photos (camera eats first). However, my experiences here have been a bit of a mixed bag over the past several years. Let's start with the positives. The quality of the matcha soft serve has improved tremendously— it's no longer overly melty, but rather has a lovely, creamy consistency. I usually go for the matcha anmitsu bowl— the red bean and mochi add a nice soft and chewy texture that pairs well with the earthy matcha. If you’re craving something sweet and refreshing, I recommend the matcha latte float. It’s incredibly rich and the ultimate indulgence. The hojicha flavours are equally as decadent too. They also offer the cutest sweet treats. The hojicha brownie, in particular, was fudgy, subtly flavoured, and not too sweet. My only regret is that they don’t have the matcha brownie anymore. I really hope they bring it back! Now my qualms lie in the lack of inventory and inconsistent service. For a while the matcha wasn’t available and they often sell out of popular items. The portion sizes also seem to depend on who is working— it’s a bit hit or miss. Sometimes, you’ll get a nice, generous serving. Other times, it’s significantly smaller and feels unworthy of the steep price. All in all, if you love matcha and are looking for a place to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is definitely worth checking out! I’ll keep coming back for the matcha, but I do hope they can iron out some of the operational kinks to provide a more consistent experience.

I stopped by Saryo Cafe on Yonge Street and had such a nice time. I tried the matcha ice cream, which was super creamy with the perfect earthy matcha flavor. My mom got the strawberry matcha, and it looked bright and tasty. I also tried the yuzu soda, and it was refreshing and light, perfect for a little pick me up. The best part was trying matcha the traditional way, just whisked with water, and it was smooth and surprisingly pleasant. Everything felt authentic and relaxing.

This Japanese cafe is located in front of a ramen shop featuring Matcha products. The price is inexpensive. For the parfait, the matcha tastes rich in the ice cream. The ube cheesecake is dense matching with a soft whipped cream which is a perfect combination. The interior is small and beautiful that it is still comfortable in Japanese wooden style.

Bear Puff (Cookies & Cream) While undeniably cute this treat fell a bit flat. The exterior lacked crispness the bottom was surprisingly soft and the sweetness was overpowering. Pink Bear Cotta This was a winner It was light and airy with just a hint of sweetness striking the perfect balance. Cream Soda Float It combined Sprite raspberry syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream delivering exactly what you expect It was pleasant but not memorable. Matcha Strawberry Ice Cream My friend’s choice turned out to be the highlight The blend of earthy matcha and fresh strawberry made for a delightful scoop. Staff One person handled the café area She was friendly and hardworking offering recommendations and skillfully preparing each drink An extra pair of hands would make service smoother. Ambiance Nestled beside a ramen shop this café provides a sweet finish after a savory meal Seating is comfortable and the decor features natural organic tones with subtle Japanese touches.

Really cute desserts and tea-based drinks at this cafe. They are located at the front of the ramen restaurant, and you can also order their desserts directly from the ramen menu. Not a lot of seating and can get crammed, so it’s recommended to get ramen if you want a more comfortable sit down experience. Really enjoyed the traditional Japanese dessert set

The matcha/strawberry swirl ice cream was very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and the portion was massive, but it was too sweet and the two opposing textures of the matcha ice cream and strawberry sorbet weren't hitting for me. I feel like their other Japanese desserts are probably more up my alley but I didn't have a chance to try this time. Definitely will be back to try other items tho

Outstanding coffee shop - easy, accessible, and an extremely positive atmosphere! Service with a smile. We ordered to breakfast sandwiches (Breakwich), a cake pop, a fruit smoothie, and coffee - everything is made fresh in restaurant, and the sandwiches blow Tim Hortons out of the water. Fresh egg, sausage, real cheese, perfectly toasted croissant-style bun, well sauced. Loved it. Pricing was very reasonable, service was quick, and there was ample seating in the restaurant. We will definitely come back! Half-eaten sandwich in the photo because it was too enticing to wait. Smoothie is in-motion, with the half-consumed cake pop in the background.

This coffee time is really good , clean and friendly. My new favorite is the western. You can watch make. Very clean. The rice crispy and apple fritter very good as well.

Love this traditional donut shop BUT I have a couple of complaints. Please remove the sign that says WASHROOMS ARE FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY. Aside from that being illegal (yes it is) it’s not a good look. Makes you look mean and also the washrooms need to be ripped out and modernized. The other is that the staff shouldn’t be speaking to each other in their native language. Otherwise I love it. Much better than Tim Horton’s which has gone to shit.

Owner is extremely disrespectful! Had the audacity to call me a free loader for sitting in a table first of all before I sat on a table there was a line I stood there and than I have knee problem so I took a seat old lady owner with blue eyes was yelling at me for sitting in the table ! I was a regular I guess she never pays attention to her regulars with her musty attitude! Will never be returning again ! Made me cry and angry :( asked worker what’s her name worker was nice but owner terrible she said Christina probably her fake name but yeah respect ur regulars !

I only came to this location because somebody I was meeting insisted on meeting here. I haven't been in a coffee time in a few years. I can honestly say I was blown away. Their new atmosphere is really nice.the food selection is great. The donuts look like they're all twice the size of the competitors. I couldn't resist and got myself a walnut Cruller which I haven't seen in a few years. I also took an Apple Fritter home for later because it looks so huge. On top of all that the staff is very friendly. And they even took the time to adjust The Coffee Lid so that the seam was in the opening eliminating dripping. I'll definitely add coffee time back to my list for occasional meeting spots after this experience.

Coffee Time is a lesser known Canadian coffee chain, but let me tell you, this place came in clutch on a road trip out of town on the August long weekend. We were able to easily park, and load up with some good food and beverages before hitting the highway! The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and professional. Which is something you can't always say about other Canadian coffee chains.

Okay. So to be fair we came here looking for an East Side Mario's. My wife and her friend were reliving school days. But it has been twenty years. This was here instead. Here where it gets interesting. My daughter has been picky all trip. She hasnt really wanted anything outside what we cooked. My wife and mother asked the waiter what he would recommend for her. He said the butter chicken. The young man was right. My daughter sat up when the dish came and just started to eat. She couldn't finish it but she enjoyed the valiant attempt.

Massive menu with weekend brunch, cocktails for a reasonable price, attentive friendly service! I had the chicken, Caesar wrap and sweet potato fries (upgrade) and my mum had fish and chips but opted for onion rings instead. The place was completely packed when we arrived just after 1 PM on a Saturday- we were shown to a table and chairs that had seen better days but still very comfortable. There are a lot of booths. Interior is kept clean but could use some love. Blow up images of Renaissance art. Very family, friendly and decent portions. It is on the loud side when busy. There is a patio out front overlooking the parking lot and Yonge Street. Our server was wonderful. Would return.

I’ve been here a few times for their fabulous desserts, so I decided to try their lunch menu. Since it was a cold day, the restaurant wasn’t too busy. The decor is homey and inviting, modern with a Mediterranean flair, and the leather-style bench seating is comfy. I started with the side Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, cold and a good size. For my main, I went with the Chicken Parmesan - it was titanic. The massive piece of breaded chicken was topped with ooey gooey melted mozzarella and paired with an enormous portion of fettuccine in a rich, savoury meat sauce. It included a funky piece of tasty, angular garlic bread. It took me quite a long time to demolish it. After the main course demo, I had the Fudge Brownie cheesecake for dessert: cool, smooth, sweet, dreamy, creamy texture, and a lovely chocolate sauce drizzle. I can see why it's one of their signature desserts. It paired well with coffee. The service from Dorsa was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back. My only suggestion to the manager is to fix the front door which is not hinged properly and keeps closing with a loud bang. P.S. Don’t forget that from December 14, 2024, to February 15, 2025, restaurants won’t charge the 13% HST, so take advantage while you can!

My wife and I recently visited Amadeus Patisserie and enjoyed trying the Paris Brest and a lache pastry, along with a cup of matcha and a tea. The pastries were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Unfortunately, the drinks didn’t quite meet our expectations. We had originally wanted to order chocolate and mocha, but were told they were out of cocoa powder, which was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere of the patisserie is cozy with a good vibe, and we appreciate the high chairs by the windows, which made for a nice spot to sit and relax. The staff were quite friendly and welcoming, which added to the pleasant experience overall. Despite the drinks, we'd definitely come back for the pastries.

We’ve been coming here for years just for the almond croissant. It’s my wife’s favourite and I’m a big fan as well. We were just in recently and they had many different flavours of croissants. We ordered a pistachio one and a cheese one. The pistachio was filled with pistachio cream and was really nice. The cheese one, we expected to be more savoury, but it also had a sweet aspect to it. The artistic desserts that they carry are delicious and very aesthetically pleasing. These are great for taking to peoples homes or serving up you’re having guests over. The price is definitely up there but the quality makes up for it. The macarons are also really good and can easily compete with the best France has to offer. All in all, it’s an excellent bakery and I haven’t been disappointed by anything we’ve purchased from them over the years.

I tried the croissants, cakes and macarons, and were outstanding — rich in flavour, not overly sweet, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Perfect for a quiet coffee break or catching up with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful, even during the busy hours. Prices are on the higher side, but you’re paying for craftsmanship and freshness, and it’s worth it. Definitely one of the best patisseries in Toronto for anyone who appreciates beautiful desserts and a relaxing café vibe.

👎 I am really trying hard not to leave negative reviews and I barely do. When I saw lots of 4-5 stars I was in good mood. Went there with the family, order 6 items to try and coffee... one bite of each... and 6 of us could not finish non. JUST fancy and expensive... how can a coffee be like that?! How can the macaroon be tasteless... how can of the 6 items, none be delicious... how is this place in business? Did not like at all... would not recommend 😕 SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Don't tell me, I did not tell you so!

So, my husband bought a birthday cake for me from this place. He specifically asked for one with less biscuit, since I hate it, and was told there was just one layer of biscuit at the bottom. Well, there IS only one layer — but it takes up half the cake. And not only that, it’s also dry as heck and absolutely tasteless — just a brick of bread. The mousse is okay, nothing special. It says there is raspberry cream — there is no raspberry cream, just canned peaches. And the peaches are in some sort of jelly. For just a bit more, you can buy a real masterpiece from Lumiere. Even Costco cakes are better. I would understand if this cake were 20 bucks… Anyway, today is my birthday, and I’m literally writing this review right after cutting the cake. I’m really disappointed. Happy birthday to me 🎉

I used to purchase their cake and coffee regularly. Today, we got the chocolate cake as usual and very disappointed. The chocolate is a lot worse than before and tastes just not right. They changed the cake button recipe and it tasted absolutely awful! Very disappointed. I do really like this store before and become not coming back again.

The cafe was quite diverse, with a mix of couples, families, and young crowds. It felt vibrant, which definitely made it a fun place to visit if you're looking for a casual night out. As for the food, we’ve always loved getting crepes and waffles from Spin, and it didn’t disappoint on this visit. The variety of fruits available was great, and the fact that we could customize our order made it feel more personal. Honestly, the options were so much better than Demetres (in my opinion), so I’d definitely recommend it if you're a fan of sweet crepes and waffles. That said, if you’re not a fan of Nutella, be warned—it can be quite overpowering, and the sugar hit is real! If you’re sensitive to sweetness, make sure to let them know your sugar preference when ordering. I also tried the pistachio milkshake, which was a bit of a miss for me. It tasted more like almond than pistachio, and it was way too sweet for my liking. I appreciate that they offer a range of drinks, but the milkshake didn’t live up to my expectations. Visited here last night. It was busy and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered a crepe with Nutella, peanut butter, and bananas, and we got a different one with strawberries and no peanut butter, but it was equally delicious. We ordered a side of French vanilla, and the ice cream was really creamy and smooth. I give 3 stars for service because she never came back to take our coffee order and brought us the wrong dessert although we didn't complain since we didn't notice at first and had already started eating it.

This place is decent, has a lot of space. The iced caramel macchiato was great and they offered substitutions for milk which was a relief! The service isn't too quick but it's okay! The ice cream portion on the sugar sugar waffle was insane! It was good though. I think it's worth it here. They offer alcoholic beverages and vegetarian food items as well. Definitely coming back to try more items

Was there tonight with my sisters catching up and Krishna took care of us 💕 she suggested crepes and coffees. She was so awesome - great server and very attentive. We tried the Yalla Habibi crepe, the black or white waffle and the irreplaceable waffles - alll super delicious 😋 thanks @Krishna for a awesome evening.

Server Alexia Horrible. Been to Spin multiple times and ordered plenty of times through Uber but this will be the last because of Alexia. I will no longer refer friends and family to this place. We got to Spin where the server was attending to a 20 group party which we understood and had empathy for, nonother customers. We simply ordered, 1 drink, and 2 crepes (water requested). She avoided us and did not tend to us at all. She continued to serve the group of 20 plus another group of 4 and 3 who came in after us. The group of 4 was immediately given water. After waiting 45 minutes and not even given water the group of 4 were served their food. I got up to ask for our food to go. Server Jenn immediately assisted us and got our drinks, she rushed ordered our crepes but we were too upset to eat and asked for our order to go and paid (even though we shouldn't have), we paid for being disrespect and treated like we don't matter or exist. Very disappointing and upsetting , we don't understand what lead to this horrible disrespectful experience. We were kind and patient and we didn't even order many items, we simply don't understand this disrespectful behavior. The more you keep her on the floor, the more business you'll lose.Alexia should be re-trained and educated on her management and hospitality skills.

You have to look carefully for this one.....but LOOK FOR IT!!!!! This is NOT just and ice cream/bakery place...but it is so much more. A smallish interior (grab a table before you order and sit out on the patio if the weather is nice) with only five 2-seater tables and one big 6-seater. And this place is OBVIOUSLY good as it was filled with locals on a mid-weekday. Service is efficient but be prepared to wait a bit as the kitchen is also small with just one TERRIFIC cook/chef who handles the whole menu. But it is worth the wait. Have some delicious coffee! Food is fresh and locally sourced. There is baking to choose from but their breakfasts are spectacular!!!! Country fresh orange eggs and thick peameal bacon with thick beefsteak tomato slices. My panini sandwich was loaded with thick slices of peameal stuffed in a fresh crusty bun hot off a press. It was something I could have split. Washroom could use a bit of an update/reno........

Good amount of vegetarian options, patient and friendly staff. I recommend the mushroom provolone omlette and the banana French toast. The home fries are also very delicious (perfectly seasoned)

Just went for ice cream. The selection is small, but the ice cream tastes good. It's a bit expensive for the portion though, so don't think I'll be back, when there are better options for ice cream on the street. The staff were nice and they have a nice patio.

Such a cute cafe and great service. Got a few breakfast items which were delicious and fresh. Would love to come again! Also, great process for ordering with the restrictions, super easy and safe. We got the salmon on rye sandwich, egg and avocado sandwich and same combo in a croissant - can’t go wrong with these!!

Get you a friend and get this $45 Brunch box, ABSOLUTELY Worth it, delicious. Comes in a big pizza box, we were obsessed. The chai tea lattes and London fog were lovely. I forgot to take a picture of our main food because we dove in right away but we got the Eggs Benedict, Egg and Avocado Sandwich and The Classic Breakfast. They were all delicious, I’ve also never had Eggs Benny on a waffle before!! I loved it. And the eggs were perfect. Thank you so much, our crummy day was instantly turned around, fast service and full bellies. Will return ♥️

The food and service were excellent here. I had the eggs Benjamin waffle which had a nice mix of sweet and savory. The coffee was fresh and they had plant based milk options! They currently have a little patio set up for covid times and there is no dining inside. There baked goods looked yummy too; I'll be back to try them!

We live in Kleinburg and have been here a few times. I'm disappointed to say this will be our last time because we love the ambiance of the outdoor patio. No one should ever have to endure their pathetic service; just pathetic. For starters we were never offered water; nor did it come when we asked. Same goes with with the ketchup. We sit down at our table for 30 minutes as we watch newcomers being served before us. When I ordered my breakfast, I asked for my bacon well-done; twice. She didn't seem to be paying attention so I asked her a second time to ensure there was no mistake (the table next to us got the wrong omlet and nothing was done to rectify their mistake so I took that extra precaution). After waiting another 20 minutes, the food arrives and none of the food runners know anything about well-done bacon. In fact, it wasn't even bacon, it was all fat. None of our toasts came with butter, so we ate dry toast with our meals. The eggs were gross and the potatoes were undercooked. The photos attached were taken upon our exit. The undercooked potatoes were the only eatable thing on my plate. I've legitimately never been so disappointed with breakfast; ever! My mom's cappuccino never even arrived. We order the bill when the food arrived and still had to wait. To sum it up, the food is garbage, the service is pathetic, and they have a patio. Save your time and money and sit at the Starbucks across the street if you're looking for a nice patio. Don't bother with this place. It really is too bad because I really wanted to love this place.

I recently visited this branch and had a somewhat mixed experience. We ordered coffee and a cappuccino along with some cakes, and while the food quality stood out, there were areas that could be improved. While not outright rude, it seemed like they lacked the professionalism and warmth that make a customer feel valued. Overall, this place is good for a quick coffee and cake stop, especially if you’re craving something sweet. However, better customer service and more attention to detail with the coffee could elevate the experience.

Nice coffee shop with an interesting selection of pastries. There are some unique flavours of croissants but all slightly on a higher price range. The coffee and the matcha latte were great. The place can definitely use some dusting as there were plenty of spider webs around all the ceiling lights!

Delicious, creative looking pastries. I had the Vietnamese coffee croissant. There is a little squeeze container of condensed milk. Very flavorful inside with the chocolate. Not overly sweet. However, the croissant was dry and might have been more than a day old. I would like to try their Basque cheesecake next. Drinks, it's essentially Chatime w/ pastries. Place has ample seating at the time of day we went. Tables weren't being wiped down but otherwise, not super dirty. It has a modern cafe look inside. I've been here when it has been busy, so it depends. Don't expect to park in the area.

A few months ago, I visited Bake Code, and it was a good experience! The outdoor seating area was nice, offering a pleasant view of Yonge Street. The variety of desserts was impressive—not only were they eye-catching, but they were also mouthwatering and delicious. The coffee complemented them perfectly. Wowowowow! They have some really unique pastries. Got the honey croissant, (kinjaki?) Swiss roll, and chocolate walnut croissant. All absolutely amazing and definitely strays away from your typical ordinary flavours. Although I won't lie, it can get quite pricey, but I think for the quality and uniqueness it's not too too bad. I wanted to try the croissant swirls but I'm guessing you'll have to come earlier as they were sold out after 9pm. Also they do some deals like no tax if you buy 6 pastries or buy 5 get 1 free. Might take advantage of that next time. One thing I might request from the owners is to add plastic cutlery and napkins with the order. Also they charge for bags which is normally complimentary at most bakeries which I thought was bizzare.

When I arrived, the place was packed with people, but the staff was quick and respectful while taking orders. They didn’t rush me when I asked about different items. All the pastries were fresh, with a delicate flavor and balanced sweetness. My top recommendation, however, is their cheesecakes. Be sure to give them a try!

Tried cakes and unique croissant flavors here 2 years ago — and after a long break, came back for their ‘Skin’ desserts. Tried 4 flavors this time: tiramisu coffee, mango, strawberry, and red velvet — all fresh, all extraordinary!

If you wanna be taken to heaven and back, you need to stop off at this place. One of our clients brought us this heavenly treat, And I can assure you If you try it, you will not be disappointed. My favourite was the one with the chocolate on top. The other one had honey, and one had cinnamon. Words can’t explain how much I enjoyed this. Keep up the great work.

I visited Loukoumania café and ordered a coconut/raspberry milkshake and six loukumades topped with 3 raspberry/coconut and 3 sm’oreo. The staff were super sweet, and my order was prepared pretty quickly. The food was delicious, and the café had great greek music and a small market area with interesting products. Overall, a fantastic experience!🥛🐝🥥🍓🍦🥐

Loukamades were absolutely delightful, First time having them and the lady at the front counter helped explain what they were and gave us a wonderful recommendation of the original and the merinda covered ones. Came here with my partner and she loved them too. The coffees we ordered also came with an edible straw which was very creative. Absolute goldmine I found looking for cafes to study at. Will come back and highly recommend trying out this unique dessert. No clue how people can give this place bad reviews.

I think I'm in heaven! I landed here on a Google search for coffee and boy, did I get more than coffee. Spanakopita was crispy and delicious, the warm honey drenched cinnamon Loukoumades were warm and amazing and don't even get me started on the Cafe Creme Loukoumania served extra hot! Friendly service and a relaxing environment is the icing on the cake. Or rather the topping on the Loukoumades. I will return every time I am min this area. Thank you ❤️

At $5.75, the buttered coffee was expensive, but the taste was good. My favorite which is a must try, is the Loukoumades and Gelato with Nutella topping. It was super delicious.

Food was great we got a latte and the ice cream loukmas. However service was very odd. One of the girls taking our order were very kind and recommended what we should get. However the one giving our order who had glasses on had an attitude and kept rolling her eyes every time we asked questions. That was really the only thing that ruined the experience.

When I first stepped in, the looks and overall atmosphere was nice, a cafe type look. It took some time for us to be seated since there was a lot of people. We ordered through the QR code. It did take a while actually since well there was a lot of people. My main dishes were the fish and chips and the soufflé. The fish came, it was a little bland but crispy. The fries were really thin cut potato slices but it didn’t taste like potato. The soufflé was good though, soft and sweet. With the additional chocolate sauce, it was even better. Solid 8.5/10. Since my parents ordered stuff too, I tried them. The green sauce pasted with shrimp was not good, of course thats to MY taste of choice. I had to spit it out, it was truly horrendous. The soft shell crab BTL or BLT sandwich was alright. The crab was good and the potatoes were a nice touch. Over all, I would NOT be coming here again. If you’re into fusion foods, I recommend coming here for brunch. (P.S DONT BRING KIDS HERE, the food is not fit for them.)

Really cozy and comfortable place. We tried the Soft Shell Crab Carbonara — a bit on the salty side, but still tasty. The Short Rib Sandwich was super flavorful and delicious! Sea Salt Cream Iced Coffee - tasteless Flat White - normal Overall, a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a nice meal.

Wow! This place really took me by surprise! You're getting Master Chef quality dishes without having to drive all the way downtown and for less than $100 for 2 people! I know what you're thinking...really tasty food equals small portions. Believe me, that exact same thought crossed my mind when our dishes came out. The dishes look small but they're heavy and filling! I eat more than most people and I left there feeling pretty full. I didn't need to go to McDonald's afterwards and I didn't feel ripped off either. We ordered 2 drinks, 2 main dishes and 1 dessert. We ordered: Softshell Crab Carbonara, Bon Bon Char Sui Bao and Chocolate Souffle Pancakes. For drinks we had: Iced Caramel Macchiato and Hot Tiramisu Donut. I can't comment on the other dishes but again, the 2 of us left feeling really full after. Everything, including the drinks all look amazing and taste just as good as they look! Incredible attention to detail and everything is made fresh. You can see the chef is very passionate about what he does. They're located at Times Square in Richmond Hill outside the main mall with plenty of free parking available. This is truly Master Chef level cooking that you see on TV and can usually only get from downtown Toronto but without having to go downtown. Definitely worth visiting!

Stumbled upon this cafe while staying at a hotel nearby. Their food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed and clean. I highly recommend the creamy seafood corn soup and pistachio chocolate croffle a la Dubai. 10/10

It's a very busy restaurant. I went to lunch on the weekend without a reservation, but I was still able to sit at the bar. It took some time because there were so many people, but the food was fine. But the staff's service attitude wasn't very friendly.

The Creamy Seafood Corn Soup was awesome. It was a flavourful and creamy soup. Would definitely recommend if craving a good corn soup. — July 7, 2025: 2nd visit 4/5 stars The food at Cafe Bon Bon was delicious as usual. The Herb Crusted Seabass was good. The seabass was perfectly cooked. However, the star of this dish was what was underneath the seabass. The crispy quinoa salsa, raisin, fresh pomegranate, brown butter pecans, red dice onions, cucumber and house made vinaigrette dressing was awesome. This combo of ingredients harmonized to give a really good and unique flavour profile and texture. The 48 Hour Short Rib Donburi was awesome. The meat is so tender and packed with umami. A classic dish at Cafe Bon Bon. The Crispy Chicken Wings with their soy, garlic, ginger and honey sauce were good. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious. Heads up, they add in Tabasco sauce to the wings for a bit of spice. Would have been nice if this was mentioned earlier. — Nov 9, 2024: 1st visit 5/5 stars Food and drinks were good at Cafe Bon Bon. Our favourite go to dish is the 48 Hour Short Rib Donburi. The meat is so tender, flavourful and goes well with the rice and veggies. The Beef Stroganoff Omurice was good. The beef cheeks were soft and goes well with the stroganoff sauce. The omurice (omelette and rice underneath) was perfectly made and delicious. The iced golden ratio (jasmine tea, fresh lime, and housemade brown sugar syrup) was awesome. A great refreshing drink. Would definitely recommend. The Sea Salt Cream Iced Coffee was good. Iced coffee was smooth and not acidic. The sea salt cream didn’t add much to the ice coffee.

Very disappointing experience. I went to this restaurant today and was really disappointed. The food was too salty, and after the meal, I even had stomach pain and diarrhoea. There was no service at all — no one came to check on us or even refill the water. On top of that, the preset 15% tip was too high given the poor service. The experience was totally not worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Review solely based on the mochi. Small little shop at the Yonge and Shepard station. Staff were very friendly in explaining the menu. They offer a smaller variety of their cakes compared the Angel cafe but this one has their Sakura cheesecakes and daifuku. They also have ice cream available on decorated cones and madelines. I came here to try their mochis. They were priced at a little $3.54+. I only got the strawberry one because the other fruit flavours didn't appeal to me. They also had banana, peach, orange and kiwi. In my opinion the mochis were just alright. Nothing special about them. The flavour of the rice cake was ok, chewiness was there but I still prefer the ones from Hong Kong flavour wise. The ones in Hong Kong have a hint of Coconut to it which make it more flavourful. But I guess they do it a little different because they are Japanese. As for the fruit inside. It was a little disappointing, the fruit didn't taste fresh and juice. It was more of a mushy strawberry.. and I probably would've preferred it better if there was no red bean. Overall, I would not recommend getting the mochi. In my opinion I didn't really like it and it seems overpriced for something so small. I would probably opt for the ice cream, cakes or the Madeline instead.

Got one of each of the fruit mochis. Best was the banana as it is frozen and refreshing. Kiwi was a bit sour. Strawberry and peach were reasonably good.

Nice addition to the Yonge-Sheppard area. There was only one guy running the shop, so the line moved a bit slowly (fine by me). I ordered the banana mochi, sakura mochi, and Yuzu no bake cheesecake. Total for all three items came up to about $15. Banana mochi was surprisingly good. It had a cheese custard flavour with banana in the middle which was very refreshing! I highly recommend this item if you like banana flavoured things and mochi. Bf and sister agreed with my assessment. Yuzu no bake cheesecake was okay. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. I was thrown off by the gelatine texture, but the flavour was there. The Sakura mochi was the most disappointing of the bunch. I couldn't taste any Sakura. Instead, it just tasted like sticky rice with red bean paste. Red bean paste was good, but the Sakura mochi part is questionable. Overall, I would give this place another try and sample some other items if I'm in the area again.

I have tasted taro cheesecake, no hi and ice cream. None of these I mentioned depress me, aide these are so great! The cheesecake is not softy and not a lots of cheese inside which is good for someone don't really like cheese like me. Gonna try everything on the menu later!!! HIGH RECOMMEND!

We ordered the cheese pizza, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and arancini balls with tomato sauce — everything was excellent. The pasta was freshly made in-house, with just the right amount of cream and perfectly cooked chicken. The pizza had a thin, crispy handmade crust — exactly how it should be. Don’t forget to ask for the chili oil — it’s a game-changer. Great spot. Will be back.

Amazing and great night, definitely made my anniversary a great one, from staff to the food I recommend anyone looking for greatness in both to come here and bring the family it’s like having a home cooked meal, highly recommend it.

The service was wonderful and so friendly. We were only 4 people, but each with different tastes and restrictions. My wife is Italian, and fairly picky especially about restaurants. But we all enjoyed a wonderful meal together. For an authentic Italian experience, be sure to request the hot pepper oil for your bread, pizza, pasta, etc. I'll definitely consider That's Italian the next time we have an event to host.

We came here with our cousins last night and we had an amazing dinner. There were 9 of us so we ordered quite a bit of food. We had the mixed platter appetiser, 2 pizzas, truffle pappadelle, ravioli, veal, salad and calamari. Everything tasted amazing, and our server Mary treated us to tiramisu, red velvet, ice cream for the girls and fruit. I was hestitate at first, cuz theyve had some bad reviews since we last came but it was great.We didnt even take pics, because we couldn't wait to dig in.

Joe's assistance with setting up the audio in the room was very helpful, and the staff were incredibly attentive and pleasant throughout the evening. The location of the private room on the lower level of the restaurant allowed us to enjoy our celebration without worrying about noise levels. The timely serving of delicious food made the evening even more enjoyable. The servers were incredibly helpful with our cake, assisting in cutting, distributing, and packaging up the leftovers. We were thoroughly impressed with the food quality and the exceptional service. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a private event. I came in craving their mussels, but unfortunately, they no longer have them on the menu. So we decided to try the fish tacos — they’re drizzled with Thai sauce, so I should have guessed they’d be just okay for my taste. What really made the visit worth it was our server, Darcy. He was absolutely amazing — super attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond with service. The highlight was how sweet he was in customizing my dessert exactly how I wanted it: just ice cream and strawberries, plus a waffle, no sauce, nothing extra. It was perfect. Service like Darcy’s is why I’ll definitely be coming back again. Thank you, Darcy!

Symposium Cafe's seafood pasta has been my go-to comfort food for 10+ years. And a decade later, it still hits. Was my first time at this location but it won't be my last!

The pasta wasent very tasty my friend and I both thought the pasta dishes weren’t tasty and that the sauces didn’t match well with the type of pasta it was. The dessert and lattes were amazing thought definitely would come back just for dessert and the spinach dip was also very tasty just presentation could look better but the dessert was immaculate and the presentation was spectacular I just wish the pasta dishes were also but overall I would say 4/5 the place was stunning amazing environment and staff everyone was very polite and friendly.

Went in for breakfast on a Thursday morning. They weren't that busy so service was really quick. Our server was really friendly. The meals are reasonably priced. And if you really wanna try something try the carrot cake. They serve really huge slices. I had 3 eggs breakfast meal. I didn't really like my hashbrowns although they were tasty, they were a bit on the hard side. They seem to have specials daily. I really wanna check out Thursdays Date night!!

Self serve coffee shop. You can get sandwiches and soups, the tomato soup and lentil soup was very delicious.

The coffee is also excellent, with a range of options from classic drip coffee to specialty espresso drinks. I especially like the patio on a nice summer day.

Great cafe in a great location. Staff is super nice and friendly. Prompt service. Food and beverages were excellent. It was a tad on the higher end for pricing, but considering the area we were in, I'm not surprised at the cost. Cafe was very clean and tidy and well laid out. We were on the way to the airport and stopped for breakfast, so I'm not sure I would necessarily go out of my way to go back. But if ever in the area again, I would definitely go back. We had breakfast and it was delicious. If I went back, I would attempt going at a different time of the day to try a different menu. Overall, a great experience.

Went for breakfast on a weekday am with my wife and daughter. Spacious area with indoor seatings and outdoor patio. The staff were polite and friendly. Food and drinks were served in a matter of minutes. Coffee and pastries were amazing. The breakfast sandwich was so so though. After all, they gave me a great start of the day! A dessert heaven! The place is spacious, well-lit, and has an inviting vibe. There was a queue when we arrived, but the wait wasn’t too long. We ordered the tiramisu and the Formula bun—both were delightful. The tiramisu had lovely layers and a creamy texture, though it lacked that distinct coffee bitterness and the presentation was just okay. The Formula bun, on the other hand, had a perfectly crusty exterior with a rich, cream filling.

Great selection of desserts and more than your regular offering plus plus. good sized portions for dessert, easy enough to share. nice decor and atmosphere though the general noise can be elevated. staff are friendly & attentive enough. they also do the birthday singing for guests over the speaker system and cake if you enjoy that kind of thing.

The recommendations provided by our server Joseph were spot on it was exactly what we were looking for, from the dessert selection to our drinks .. it was our flavor profiles. Bus service was fast we didn't have to wait long for our table and the cleanliness of the restaurant was great also kudos to you guys.

Dropped by this location a few weeks a go and had a great experience. We tried the Splitsonian and Pecanchu - both delivered on flavor and presentation. The splitsonian had a great mix of ice cream,chocolate drizzle, banannas and strawbrries. The Peacanchu was great as well with a buttery and rich taste paired well with the ice cream. This Demetres is very accessible with a ramp from the parking lot to access the main doors. The food was great, I mean lets be honest, its sweets, not much to complain about here. Our server Shayan was polite and patient as we had a party of 6 with 2 little ones. After several indecisive minutes, Shayan was still polite and informative with each of our questions. If you’re curious about the wait time, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated and this was at around 9pm on a Saturday night. In the pictures you’ll find the Splitsonian (the one with strawberries), the pomme pilot (the plate being held), and the bisco fever (the cherry was added to it from my daughters milkshake) Overall nothing negative to say and would definitely recommend going, if you do, ask for Shayan!

We ordered from Uber Eats. Calazone Salmon salad Two scoops of chocolate ice cream. Problems and why I gave two star rating: A. No cutlery - are we expected to eat ice cream or salmon salad with our fingers? B. Ice cream came in plastic container. Yes. No styrofoam. We SIPPED the melted ice cream and pretended it was chocolate milk. C. Salmon salad was salty with sesame. D. Calazone Was a nice size but burnt on top. Filling was ok, not "delicious".

A perfect location to catch up with friends and family. The staff are super welcoming/friendly and the food was a delicious treat! Loved the coffee with a lovely refreshing ice cream touch! I think you need to open a branch in Yonge and Eglinton!

Great kosher food options. They only have 2 servers, imagine having full dinein, and only 2 servers, it's hard to manage. They deserve a good tip, some restaurants minimum is 18%; good thing they still have the 15%. All servers deserved it, esp their pay is below minimum. That's the only benefit they have for working so hard.

Really disappointed in this cafe. I walked in with my daughter and her baby in a carriage. Guess how many ppl were there at about 2:30 p.m.? No one at all. So there's no excuses like "we were so busy" etc. My daughter and I sat. And sat. Two waitresses were having an animated conversation. From the kitchen we could hear a man shouting commands. After 6-7 minutes of waiting I called to one of the waitresses if we could receive menus. She brought one over plus a pitcher of water which was nice. As we studied the menus the man in the kitchen began ranting louder and louder. Now the two waitresses were shouting back at him. This was NOT very conducive to the fun Mother and Daughter Luncheon we had hoped for. We got up and left. Both waitresses saw us leave .

Kid friendly. Food was overpriced and did not taste good. They added a 15% tip for a 2 person table. Weird. Would never come back.

I had such a great experience at Vaughan City Grill! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and Susie in particular was incredibly personable and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was amazing—honestly the best I’ve had in Woodbridge. Everything came out fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and great service!

What a very pleasant and beautiful restaurant. We drove in from out of town and chose Vaughn City Grill based on its reputation and reviews. We met Susie and John the owners and were served by Camilla. What an absolute wonderful experience. They are immediately friendly. Now to the food, The Big Breakfast, The Baconator, The Western Sandwich and The Meat Lovers Omelete are absolutely to die for. The home fries are mind blowing. The portion sizes are amazing. The value for quality is like nothing I've experienced in a very long time. Truly an amazing experience and restaurant. We will be attending again and again. Do your taste buds, wallet and happiness a favour and eat here. You deserve it. Wow. Bravo.

Every now and then you come across someone and someplace extraordinary and that is the VCG!!!! Our server Alex was truly amazing - and Suzie and John made me feel like I was sitting at their kitchen table!!!! If you don’t go out of your way ( I came from tampa fl ) to visit the VCG - you will have left one of life’s little secrets behind!!!! I can’t wait to come back - to come back home!!!

Decided to give Faema Caffe a try while searching for a good Cappuccino or a latte. During my experience, I found their employees pleasant and welcoming. They attended our need's and were respectful. I would definitely recommend Faema Caffe if you're looking for some good Cappuccino or a latte. I also got a chicken wrap, which tasted absolutely delicious.

One of the worst cafe experiences I’ve had — avoid Faema at all costs. I went to Faema today with my mom hoping to enjoy a simple coffee and pastry. We ordered two coffees and a slice of loaf cake. As I was about to eat it, I noticed actual mold on the loaf. Disgusting. I told the girl working there (dirty blond hair) and instead of apologizing or even seeming remotely concerned, she casually said she’d give me a “fresh” croissant instead. Fine. Except 20 minutes went by — we finished our coffees — and nothing. No croissant, no update, not even a glance in our direction. When I finally went to follow up, she acted annoyed and rude, and literally just said “okay bye.” No explanation. No pastry. No apology. Just… bye. Absolutely unacceptable customer service, and serving moldy food is inexcusable. Do yourself a favour and go literally anywhere else.

I’ve been a long-time customer of this Tim Hortons location, but I’m very disappointed with the current state of the store. The place is consistently messy—tables are often left with trash, used tissues, and leftovers. When we asked a staff member if someone could clean a table for us, she rudely responded that it wasn’t her responsibility and told us to clean it ourselves if we wanted to sit!!! She raised her voice and didn’t even offer a simple apology! This is no way to treat customers. Basic cleanliness and respectful communication should still be a priority.

It was a pleasant place to relax while waiting family for the lab tests at the nearby medical centre. Things have been changed in couple of years. This place became messy. Tables are dirty and greasy. The trash boxes look like not having been cleaned for days. We are no longer see friendly people years ago. Very disappointed.

The server, instead of greeting me or taking my order, was yelling at another employee across the room. I waited patiently, hoping to be acknowledged, but was completely ignored for several minutes. When I finally tried to get their attention, they snapped at me as if I had personally caused the chaos, their tone so hostile it left me stunned. My simple order—a coffee and a sandwich—turned into an ordeal. The coffee arrived cold, the sandwich was missing half the ingredients, and when I pointed it out, there was no apology, no offer to fix it—just indifference. Meanwhile, other staff members simply watched the scene unfold, chatting among themselves and doing nothing to help. Management was nowhere to be seen, leaving customers to navigate this storm of incompetence and rudeness on their own. It was impossible not to feel disrespected, ignored, and completely unwelcome. This experience was more than just poor service; it was a full-on assault on basic customer decency. I left the store frustrated, angry, and astonished that a national chain could allow this level of chaos and hostility. I cannot stress enough: avoid this Tim Hortons at all costs. Unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience in a café of utter incompetence, find somewhere else to spend your money. This visit was, without exaggeration, one of the worst customer experiences of my life. All the workers who were acting up and being rude were indain.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience at Tim Hortons was absolutely unacceptable. Big chain soup, salad, sandwich, and pastry restaurant. You order your food and eat at a table similar to Aroma Coffee establishments. The food items are done well with many classic items, they have a great all you can drink option with no calorie tea cocktails. Another cool item is year round bread bowl options for the soups! My biggest gripe is the overall cost, $12 for a "full size" sandwich is kinda steep, especially if you just order a grilled cheese. I give them 7/10!

I come often to the Panera Cafe at Yonge/16th Ave, Richmond Hill. Coffee is good and sandwich is tasty. The setting is comfortable to sit for an hour. I meet my mortgage clients here from time to time because the location is convenient, with free Wi-Fi and parking. The restaurant staff members here are friendly and helpful. Thank you! The thing I like most is free coffee refill. Overall rating: 4.30.

I've been to this place twice, and I'll never go back. First time the cappuccino tastes like powder milk and the orange juice was like sugar and water without any taste. I went again to give it a second chance... Their hot chocolate was awful. It doesn't taste like chocolate (more like water with a bit of milk). The wifi is useless. Opening a simple google page took around 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I had to write this review despite having a very bad experience. I hope it'll be useful and it helps them to improve.

I love this place because of their broccoli cheddar soup. Otherwise, their salads are good, their sandwiches are Ok but nothing impressive. They have a pick 2 formula whereby u pick any 2 different items half size along with either an apple, bread, or chips for a very affordable price.

4 Stars because it is pricey especially for being a very casual cafe atmosphere and food portions are not very big. Otherwise food, pastries and coffee drinks are tasty and they do offer a diverse menu with healthy options. That service is fast and staff are friendly. I really love the cinnamon latte!

Blueberry scone is superb!. The exterior is a baked to a crustiness that I would expect to have flavour and offer 'firmness' on each bite. The crust the surrounds the multi-layer and almost velvety interior, that would benefit from a little more sweetness (purely personal and subjective) and I would prefer a few more blueberries but this is still an excellent scone. The white chocolate morsels are an excellent lift to the taste buds. And the underside is done to perfection, browned to carmelize the sugar (flavour) and firm enough to feel solid and not lack substance.

The food is very good. The place is a little bit overpriced and some employees are actually very rude. I didn’t have time to catch her name, but it was a Latina worker I believe from Venezuela who had very unpleasant attitude. She acted like she owns the place, and treats customers better than others. Very bad representation for the place which actually made me not wanna go back because if that’s the employees that you guys hire to represent you then you have to really make sure they’re very good with people skills and customer service.

Some good items, i.e. donuts but some items are stale and not consistently fresh. Terrible customer service. They take your money, don't wash their hands and touch the top of your coffee cup where you will drink and then the lid. No concept of hygiene. And this is just what I see at the front of the store. Easily upset with you, like if you ask for a new lid. Can you imagine the hygiene at the back of the store if they don't care and do this in your face.

My family and I have been coming to this bakery for many years. The bakery offers a variety of choices which are all delicious! The staff are welcoming and ready to help every time I come in. One server in particular, Ava, always has a smile on her face and gives me exceptional customer service going above and beyond to make sure I am being helped which I appreciate very much. I would recommend this bakery to everyone looking for great food and exceptional service.

Tastiest and cutest little bakery. Makes the most amazing pizza that reminds me of the ones Nonna used to make. Has so many tasty pastries and desserts to choose from. Has a hot table, frozen meats and pasts, deli meat to be Sliced and assortment of buns and more. Their Nutella cookies are to die for, but again that pizza was incredible, I wish I bought a whole pie

If I could give Maple Bakery 10 stars, I absolutely would! I've been coming here for 20 years, and the customer service has always been top-notch. Their cakes, pizza, bread, ice cream — and especially their babas — are simply the best. I can't say enough good things about this place. I like this location as its really cozy however there is no indoor sitting area. They have a really cool nice outdoor patio which is really good for summer. I usually pick up my coffee here once a week and it really gets busy during morning rush. However, the staff is super professional and fast handling the orders and serving the line. Their coffee, as I find, its really fresh and hot. I always order the same thing and I like the freshness. The outdoor parking is free and there are lots space to park. It is located within a plaza. The indoor vibe is also pretty cool and buzzy and represents the starbucks vibe in its sense. Overall, pretty nice location with professional staff.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding an incident I witnessed at your Thornhill location at Bathurst and Beverly Glen. A young girl, approximately 8 or 9 years old, came into the store and politely asked for a cup of water. To my surprise, one of the associates told her that they could not provide her with water because she was not a customer. The girl explained that she was very thirsty and again asked if she could please have a cup of water. The staff member responded that Starbucks no longer offers free water. I found this response incredibly disappointing and upsetting. Denying a child access to something as basic and essential as drinking water, especially when she is clearly in need, goes against basic human decency and the values I expect from a brand like Starbucks. I believe this situation could have and should have been handled with more compassion. I kindly ask that this matter be reviewed and that your staff be reminded of the importance of empathy and community responsibility. No child should be turned away when asking for water. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope you will take the appropriate steps to ensure that all Starbucks locations provide a welcoming and humane environment for everyone, regardless of whether they are paying customers.

The most terrible customer service ever from employee Monica ( she really hates her job and everyone who comes in). No respect for customers or even Starbucks policy. "Coffeehouse Code of Conduct" that prohibits smoking, vaping, and drug use in and around their stores, including patios and restrooms according to Starbucks. This policy is in place to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all customers and partners. Additionally, many areas have local bylaws prohibiting smoking near building entrances. Two cigarettes in 5 minutes both right in front of the store doors.

Good service. They re-opened recently after doing some renovations. They removed all the indoor seating. They do have is a nice patio though.

Should’ve taken a picture of my drink. When it was given to me it wasn’t stirred properly and I was a little confused by what I was looking at.. so I asked the girl making my drinks why it looks like that, because, I’m used to my drinks being stirred properly and not looking like oil and water mixed together. She looked at me and said “that’s the syrup..” with a bothered tone. I asked her if she can stir my drink again, because half of the ingredients are at the bottom of the cup, which she did, as if she was forced to do me a favour….

I’ve consistently had negative experiences with the customer service at this location, primarily due to one employee named Monica. She often displays a rude and dismissive attitude toward customers, which creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. Additionally, I’ve frequently seen her smoking directly outside the entrance of the Starbucks, which is not only unprofessional but also unpleasant for guests entering or exiting the store. This behaviour significantly detracts from the overall customer experience and reflects poorly on the brand.

A nice change from the larger coffee chain stores in the area. Food and drink is definitely cheaper than Starbucks, quality is better also. Can get quite busy during peak hours. This location has an ok amount of parking but on a busy day it fills up fast. They have signs that tell patrons that booths are reserved for 2 people or more during peak hours - a nice touch. Would definitely visit again.

Coffee house in a discreet pocket of Maple. Usually filled with students camped out in the booths using the free WiFi. Quality of coffee good. Baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are very good and less expensive than Starbucks. Quiet environment. Fast service. Recommend stopping by if you're in the area and need a quick caffeine fix.

The two young ladies were very friendly, nice and polite. I bought the Mango Almond Salad. It doesn't look anything like the picture in their menu but it was delicious. Only downfall... THERE IS ONLY ONE WASHROOM FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN TO USE! ... and the toilet flusher is broken. Which made for impatient and angry people lining up outside waiting for their turn.

Their coffee is good, not a fan of their desserts though. The place is rather busy given its location and a pretty big student population that comes there, so it can be a bit difficult to find a spot or plugs if you need them. The customer service is always subpar. I never had a bad experience but some of the staff can be quite standoffish, which is quite surprising since it's a family that runs the franchise. All in all, good atmosphere, decent coffee, but could definitely be improved.

Every aspect of the experience was great. Staff are very nice. The atmosphere was relaxing, it’s not a very cozy nor luxurious, but it’s just calming and warm. The food was superb. I haven’t had such satisfying meals for sometime despite visiting many places and recently coming back from NY and having brunch at Balthazar. The shakshukha was delicious. egg cooked perfectly, not to runny nor over cooked. The buns were soft and warm, it not to soft with a mild crust. As for the almond croissant... amazing. Texture and sweetness with the powder sugar, just amazing. Even black coffee, did not taste burnt, it was tasty. Price... all of the above for less than $20? It’s a steal

Great spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch and coffee! Shakshuka is very popular and rightfully so... the best we've had! Challah French toast is sweet but light and scrumptious. Bread and pastries are delectable, particularly the croissants with some unique varieties (red bean, white chocolate pistachio, etc.). Paninis are yummy! Will visit again!

This is by far one of my favourite shakshuka dishes I've had. It's so wonderfully flavourful. My almond milk latte was also very well made. All in all, a very hearty meal and friendly staff. What fell short for me was the unnecessary use of single-use plastics. They had a self-serve water jug which could have easily had real glassware or reusable plastic cups. The little side dishes that come with the meal come in little plastic dishes AND THEN placed in real pottery dishes. I am sure it makes for quicker cleaning/service, but in a time of environmental concern, this struck me. Restaurant environment is a bit cold, it's nothing fancy, but the food does make up for it. I do recommend!

Absolutely fantastic!! Exquisite European style breakfasts and fare with more flavours than there is space here to describe. Definitely worth driving out of your way for on a weekend or at any other time! There’s “fresh,” and then there’s Cafe Louise (fresh artisan baking that is top notch!!) Wonderful!

Excellent shashouka. Really good coffee. Breads look amazing. Croissant looks like it needs some work. They looked flat and not crispy. I wish I had a better picture to post but the shasouka was so good it was gone by the time we thought of taking a picture.

Came here on a Saturday evening and it was pretty busy. We ordered a few desserts via their QR code + app but they missed our order until we followed up. I had the egglet with fruits and a scoop of green tea ice cream. It was fresh but fruits portion was a bit weak. The tong Yuen was alright, it was good but nothing spectacular either.

Food and service here are great! Went here for a quick late night snack and ordered mango shaved ice. It tasted good overall, had a nice fruity, creamy taste, although it was on the sweeter side. Service was great considering the place was packed & the servers were very quick to help. Would definitely go back again.

This marks our initial visit to this place. The desserts truly delighted us, evoking memories of Hong Kong. It's possible that we've discovered a new destination for Asian-style treats. Our intention is to explore their savory offerings on our next visit.

Tried the durian mille feuille which came with a side of syrup and ice cream (recommend for durian lovers but it does take 15-20 minutes to prepare). Desserts are ordered online.

How was the food and experience? I think they have some nice items on the menu, but the overall experience of the shop isn’t that great. However, from the looks of it, seems like they occasionally have quite a lot of people in there, so maybe it was just me? The fact that you can only pay by cash here is also slightly annoying, it is 2019 and they are behind with their payment methods. Also, the service here isn’t that great? I don’t think the servers are being especially rude, but they just look like they could care less about anything. Maybe they are not being treated properly by the shop? Something is off about them. Would I recommend? Maybe this area around yonge and sheppard is lacking late night desserts place? so they remain slightly popular. I believe if there is competition maybe they’ll become better. Anyways I would not recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious with reasonable prices. We each got different types of Bubble Waffle desserts. Everything looks exactly how you see it in the menu. Not a disappointment. However be warned that they only accept cash, but an ATM is provided for you.

Would rate it a 3.5. There are a lot of desserts and meals to choose from and has a good vibe. The cost and portions don't correlate as well though for majority of dishes. Prices are what drags this place down...approx $7 not includ tip and tax. I would recommend the shaved ice cream for 2...that's about it.

Absolutely disgusting experience at Coffee Time in Vaughan. The washroom was beyond filthy—no toilet paper at all, just a random bottle left there to use water instead. Completely unacceptable in a public place. The overall cleanliness of the café itself wasn’t any better. Tables were dirty, garbage wasn’t taken out, and the whole place felt neglected. This level of hygiene is not only unprofessional but also a health concern. Management, if you care even a little about your customers and your reputation, it’s time to take serious action. Clean your store, stock your restrooms properly, and maintain basic standards of sanitation. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This used to be one of my favourite places to go in the mornings. Extremely convenient location, WAS cheaper and better quality than Tim Hortons in my opinion. Over the past few weeks I've noticed the prices have significantly changed without any indication. Another reviewer mentioned the inaccurate prices and I can confirm the cashiers are going off a written sheet beside the register. My last straw however was going into the establishment at 2:56pm on a Saturday when online their hours say until 6pm. Yet when I entered, a newer cashier informed me they were closing at 3? - and still refused to take my order. Honestly so disappointed in the changes in recent weeks.

"I recently visited "coffee time" and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The cold brew I ordered was watered down and lacked any real coffee flavor. Also, I was served stale raspberry strudel. The atmosphere was also sterile, with uncomfortable metal chairs and a lack of any personal touch. Worst place I ever visited

Came in Friday around 5:30 waiting for my car to be serviced. The sweetest man works here, he was very polite and friendly. I recommend trying the ham & cheese sandwich and chocolate chip muffin!

Walked by many times and just glanced at the place, decided to actually stop by once and try out the cakes. Very happy with the taste of what I got. Lots of variety of cakes, and cookies/desserts. Will be back to try some more!

My mother purchased a “messy room” cake for my birthday. The detail on the cake was fantastic, as well as the cake itself! The price was very decent, as well. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back!

Great latte, but the croissant was soft and not fresh. The “Dubai” filling lacked pistachio paste, and prices were high for the quality.

Good quality coffee. Amazing looking cakes and pastries. Their croissant and potato bureka was good too. They have a few seats in front; not the most comfy. The staff were friendly.

Cake It has a wide selection of desserts for such a small store, and from those I’ve gotten to try all are good. The most recent one I’ve gotten was the lotus biscoff cake; it was sweet, soft and served warm, making for a great snack while sitting and chatting. I definitely recommend coming to try Cake It! Service was also very friendly!

Came here on an empty stomach with my friend and shared a pistachio croissant. One of THE best filled croissants I've had. It was so light and airy, sweet but not too sweet and really made my tummy happy. Will have to get something else when I come back here.

Beautiful cake, lovely staff. Unfortunately the cake was nauseatingly sweet. After two small bites it was too much and I couldn't eat any more. I would love it if there wasn't so much sugar.

Update: with the new ownership the place is updated and nice inside, all new. But the desserts are often not replenished, and their honey is super diluted. Service is pretty slow. Coffee got worse, maybe that's all the post pandemic effect, hopefully this coffee shop will come back to how great it used to be. Still offers plenty of space for large groups indoors. __________ A large coffee shop, however outdated with dim lighting and filthy chairs and armchairs, those are definitely due for renewal. Otherwise good location with plenty of free parking, and lots of space inside.

Great place, it's quite large and was still packed on a Saturday morning. The baristas are friendly but my London fog latte tasted watered down unfortunately.

One of the larger and most well-lit second cups I've seen in the city. Owner Works hard and keeps the shop open late when other second cup franchises are closed down. Aside from that it's a standard run-of-the-mill second cup. This location requires more wall outlets for laptop users. There is a limited number available.

There are multiple negatives. Let's start with slow service. Line up is long even during non-rush hours. Then there is the rude service; no appreciation of the customer, not even a thank you, and the barista's appearance is not professional. The only positive is that the place is spacious, but the seats are filthy.

Good and lively Second Cup. Always enjoy Jamocha Almond Fudge Cake slice with your coffee. One of my favourite place for coffee date with anyone.

Me and my sister absolutely love country style, especially this location! We order on ubereats all the time as well and they never disappoint. Their donuts and coffee have been a pregnancy craving of mine and I’m always happy with their food :)

Haven’t been to a country style in a long time, kind of got excited… got the country bits, which were very tasty…. They didn’t have country bits the last time I came to one… that’s how long… The coffee though… not what I was expecting… tasted like water with some coffee flavouring… like they put way too much water and not enough coffee through their machine… I’ll probably get my coffee from across the street and get a donut from here.

This unassuming Country Style inside a Pioneer Gas Station is not your typical quick serve spot. They make their donuts fresh in-house and if you’re a fan of Sugar Twist donuts, this is where you have to get them from. I was surprised to learn that they make their donuts fresh, but they do! Their muffins and donut holes are also made onsite. Their sandwiches and wraps are also very good and full of ingredients. Would definitely visit again.

The coffee from this location is the greatest. I drink it black and it's great everytime, everyday. The ladies running the drive through in the morning are very friendly and cheerful.

The manager here has no manners. I saw them screaming and being disrespectful, acting like an animal honestly. Extremely unprofessional and a violation. You shouldn't be able to treat anyone so disrespectfully no matter what.

I'm really happy with this place. Rohit and his staff are trained very well.. Food is at its highest quality and the donuts will speak for themselves as they are made from scratch everyday. I had pre-order a few donuts and they were presented so well I placed another order for next week. Amazing !

Dr. Kavousi is extremely unreasonable. My mother and I arrived 20 minutes late, and we fully admit we were late. But I have two kids — I had to drop off my younger son at daycare, and he started crying, so I had to stay with him for 15 minutes. I even had to bring my older son with me. The receptionist saw I came with my kids, and I explained to her that my younger son had been upset in the morning. Still, she said the doctor wouldn’t see us and that I’d need to get a new referral. No matter how much I explained, they wouldn’t listen. Sometimes life happens — traffic, kids, unexpected situations. It was very upsetting, especially for my mother who already has severe back pain. Dr. Kavousi, you may be a good doctor scientifically, but you have zero understanding or compassion.

A Healthcare Worker’s Disheartening Experience at Nature's Emporium I’ve been a healthcare worker for 14 years, and I’ve always appreciated the support that businesses show to frontline workers. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was disappointing. I’ve never been treated this poorly. A couple days ago, I came to this location and purchased several items. One of them was marked down, the rest were not. At checkout, I showed my healthcare worker ID to the cashier, Carol, and asked for the healthcare worker discount. At other Nature’s Emporium locations, I’ve always received the discount on regular-priced items (only excluding sale/markdown items). I paid, left the store, and assumed I had received the discount. Later, when I checked my receipt, I noticed no discount was applied. I drove back, picked up a few more items, and went through Carol’s line again. I showed my healthcare ID once more and asked for the discount. This time, she told me there are no discounts on markdown items. I explained that I wasn’t given a discount earlier on my regular-priced items, showed her my receipt, and she then told me discounts are now only for hot foods. If that’s the case, she could have explained it clearly the first time so I wouldn’t have had to come back. I’ve always had a good experience at the Weston and Newmarket locations, where healthcare workers are treated with respect and discounts are honored properly. From now on, I’ll be taking my business to their competitors Healthy Planet and Ambrosia, who clearly value their customers more, as well as the Weston and Newmarket Nature’s Emporium stores.

Not familiar with the brand but carries High quality products including huge selection of organic products. A bit narrow in aisles but if you know what to find, you will get it. A must to visit to explore high quality health products!

Very good for herbal supplements and vitamins! Only gave 3 stars because the employees working behind the vitamin counter sometimes make you feel like you are bothering them. It doesn't feel friendly or inviting. Customers need help, plain and simple.

Ive lived near this place for over 10 years and everything is great in this store EXCEPT FOR the women working on the herbal side of the store. They are RUDE and miserable. This is NOT what i expect when i come to a wellness conscious place?? Im shocked it hasnt changed in all of these years. There are more words i want to use to describe them but im not allowed to say it here.🤨 You literally have customers who might be dealing with a lot in life, which is why they might come here to find ways to better themselves, and they have to encounter the most draining negative presences. 🙄 come on. And please dont do international hires to replace them. We want educated in wellness people with a positive presence.

Be aware! Bought on sale on 31 May 2025 and this watermelon is a bit spoiled. Don’t trust this business anymore. Many products is no good. Sometimes I find expired dates. Some products is good. Overall is so so. No any store is perfect.

The store itself is great. Unfortunately the staff at the health and supplements section are extremely rude and dismissive to customers. The employee was extremely rude and need proper training in dealing kindly with customers who are looking for guidance and not to be shunned down. Very very disappointed.

I visited this Tim Hortons location around 7:00 PM and asked for a wrap, only to be told that they had already cleaned the grill and couldn’t prepare it. This was quite disappointing considering the restaurant is open until 5:00 AM. It’s unreasonable to stop serving menu items this early in the evening. Additionally, the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming—no smiles, no effort to provide good service. The overall experience felt rushed and poorly managed. I hope management addresses these service issues and ensures customers receive a better experience going forward.

Oh my goodness what kind of service they offer this morning. Horrible and old and middle aged group ( spoken Tamil)! definitely having hard time to manage fast face systems. They behave inappropriate way. If this location have a manager please teach them or send them home!!. This incident happened this morning. One of the Tamil lady say that she doesn’t like me to come as customer this location ( 6161 highway 7). I could lead this to head office.

I always have the pleasure of being greeted at the window by either one of these 3 lovely ladies - Varsha, Yog or Sheetol. Their customer service is 5 stars and they always keep the line moving.

I absolutely love my local Tim Hortons! The staff is always friendly and quick, making every visit a pleasant experience. The coffee is consistently great, and their Timbits are the perfect treat. I especially love their seasonal drinks — they never disappoint! The drive-thru is always efficient, and the store is clean and welcoming. Highly recommend this location for anyone craving a delicious coffee or snack. Keep up the great work!

I go to tim every day at this location and noticed that the honey cou is extremely small compared to about two weeks ago it's the size of half of an orange, I spoke to customers service at the windows and she told me that she only served it and that she don't make it, great answer we need more people at the drive through like this it's a new generation thing where they don't give a scrap about guest service and that's a good thing Thanks.

Hi guys i just wanted to let you know that, i had great experience here ,the service was great , i just came from work and it was almost like 11:30 pm ,however i came to know that they close at 11:30 bur they warmly welcomed me and took my order with smile . After a restless work having such a humble welcome really made my day , I highly recommend other to visit it once .

Even when they are not busy they are quite slow . Ordered a Reese cookie(more expensive than normal cookie). And it shows up with no Reese cups.. they were on all the cookies when I looked and when I received my cookie there was none. Paid extra for nothing. Pretty sad that employees don’t take pride in their work or care for Tim Hortons rep… we used to stop here everyday for fuel and food before work.. gonna start going elsewhere now

I was really disappointed when I saw my food come out of a microwave (see my video). I didn't think I was on Kitchen Nightmares. The disappointment continued with the lunch combo. Veal was soggy, risotto had no flavor and the rapini was overcooked and mush. The only reason why its a 2 star and not a 1 star is the meatball sandwich. Fresh bread and the meatballs were well done. Lots of potential about this place but lots of room for improvement is needed at this place.

Amazing staff and great food selections. Authentic Italian recipes cooked to perfection. Clean and tidy and owners are very genuine! Great place for a quick espresso and pastry as well.

Came here to get a veal sandwich, however it was served to me cold. Great flavor but when I asked them to warm it they microwaved the whole thing. Nice service tho.

I went to this caffe with my uncle today and and he bought a coffee as we sat down we decided to change seats to get a view of the TV when we changed seats with making NO MESS at all guaranteed the lady came and said you can't be messing up my tables I just cleaned them and we did not make a single drop of mess at all ... Absolutely the best atmosphere for an afternoon lunch warm & welcoming Staff Hot Table very healthy food..clean and plenty of room for gatherings with friends or family even businesses luncheons...I Recommend this to all my friends and no one was disappointed...take it from me..all walks of life are welcomed at this cafe...Rumor has it that they are planning Friday & Saturday night dinners and Dancing..get your friends or family members together and have a beautiful night out...Sante Recommend..enjoy people.

Absolutely disgusting service. The owner lied and refused his ownership of the restaurant. The tables were a mess, they had a lottery station but no accessibility for people with a wheel chairs or disabilities. I spent 45 $ for breakfast and I received sunnyside up eggs that were raw and cold. The owner tried pulling the racist comment, because he was Chinese. I asked him; how do you expect me to eat raw cold eggs? I asked him would you eat those eggs....? he replied with how it's a "culture difference " and that yes he would eat those eggs.... Very very rude, and Un professional manner of conducting business. I regret coming here to this location and ruining my morning. Store was very dirty garbages were dirty just overall very unpleasant. Head office should be informed .

Went in around 10:15am the employees where all over the place and a line up. No cashier and then other people who just came in get served first some how. I asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese lettuce tomato salt pepper the young lady did not seem to know what she was doing at all and almost used a soiled knife to cut my bagel. I proceed to ask and clarify that it's toasted she assures me yes but when i get to my car and take it out it's soft and not toasted at all! Not happy with location not a good look for the coffee time brand and name with this location

Food was okay but was a little more expensive than other shops I have been too. I don't really care about that. My main issue was the cleanliness, the toilets were horrible and the dine in area wasn't the greatest. This place is only good if you get your food and leave cause the staff is nice but the food isn't even a lot to write home about. I hope a lot changes because the place has potential

My son trains at York University so unfortunately i frequent this Tim Hortons. They often do not have items on the menu. They are slow... Today they told me sour creme glazed donuts were discontinued... But that seemed like a lie. I go to Tim Hortons for consistency... This location is unpredictable and annoying.

The best Persian traditional sandwich I enjoyed the kotlet sandwich. It was amazing and I felt my mom made it for me. So fresh, so crispy and so yummy. The staff were so friendly and kind. They respect their clients and their service was amazing as well. I 100% recommend this restaurant.

Just found them today and OMG!! They have such a good menu that one visit can't be enough 😋 Tried one cold and one hot sandwich both tasted amazing and really flavorful. You can tell it's fresh and sauce is also tasty. Owners were nice and will be going back for sure.
