Hotel
Nestled in Split, the Marvie Hotel is a contemporary retreat that prides itself on being the first health hotel in the area. Boasting a wellness-focused experience, it offers an array of amenities including two pools, a gym, and a spa area. The Renevie wellness space provides opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation with its indoor pool, outdoor rooftop pool with sun deck, Finnish sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi.
The hotel was very great, they surprised us with a room upgrade when we arrived. The view from the room was very beautiful, on the sea. The breakfast was delicious, especially their pastries and pretty big variety of dishes. The only thing that coffee was not very tasty. The service was also very good, each evening when we arrived in the room, it was perfectly clean. The pool on the roof was pretty small but the view was also very beautiful and good cocktails in the bar. There are plenty of cafe, restaurants and a public beach 5 minutes away from the hotel. Recommend it !

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, giving a nice and fresh impression from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the rooftop pool — it’s a beautiful spot to sit and relax, especially at sunset, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere. However, the water in the pool was very cold and not heated, which made it difficult to actually enjoy swimming. We also ordered a salad from the rooftop bar, which was quite disappointing — the portion was small, and the price was unreasonably high for what we received. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with great potential, but there’s room for improvement in the food and facilities.
Barel P — Google review
From June 2025, we stayed here for one night prior to going on our cruise. The views from the room were fantastic and we enjoyed the roof-top pool. Unfortunately, the bar was not open during the time we were swimming. The rooms were good and we enjoyed our balcony view. Thanks for the great stay.
Craig S — Google review
Excellent hotel with first class facilities rooftop pool, indoor fitness centre with sauna etc room was very comfortable & clean Location was 20 minutes walk to city centre and 10 minutes walk to very nice beaches , good selection for breakfast and I would also recommend their restaurant menu , reasonable priced , well prepared and great food. What makes this hotel special was the staff friendly & professional and a special mention to the reception staff on duty the morning 1st October who were extremely helpful when our TUI prepaid airport taxi failed to turn up . I would certainly stay at this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending

Great location, a wonderful, clean, cozy, fragrant, and luxurious hotel and spa! The photos provided matched reality 100%, I found exactly what I was looking for! Impeccable and truly excellent welcome, farewell, and overall service. A big thank you to the entire staff, from the reception to the spa area: all stuff showing and explaining everything, very warm, nice and pleasant peoples. I especially want to thank the young man who was working on October 1st at check-out: such a great, quick, and pleasant farewell.
Deimux233 — Google review
Stayed here for 7 nights and had a very pleasant time. The room was clean, spacious, and had a fantastic view of the sea. The bed was huge and incredibly comfy. We had no problems with the room at all. The rooftop area was very nice and we enjoyed the lovely swimming pool on multiple occasions. Decent location as well. My only criticism is the price and quality of the cocktails from the rooftop bar... terrible! We had 2 cocktails each from the bar and they were so poor. Also, they were the most expensive cocktails we had during our entire stay in Split and we drunk around 10 cocktails each! The second cocktail was so bad that I took it back to the bar and asked that they replace it with some bottles of beer. The male server's response to my request was, "No, I can't do that. That is just how they are made." I then replied, "I don't care if that is how the cocktail is made, it tastes terrible and I paid €13 which makes it even worse. I want to speak with your manager." He called the manager on the phone and afterwards, told me he could give me 3 bottles of beer which I accepted. Really poor attitude from him and for a 4 star hotel, the cocktails are new level bad. If you can't provide good quality cocktails for those kind of prices, don't offer them at all! Other than that, we really liked the hotel. Just don't waste your money on their cocktails from the rooftop bar.

My only regret of our stay here, is that we did not stay longer. This place is amazing...you will not want to leave. The staff was so friendly, they make you feel very much at home. Very close Diocletian's palace, also a must see.

Excellent hotel with wonderful friendly staff. A special thanks to Irene for welcoming us. Modern hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool and spa facilities. Walking distance to Firule beach and about twenty minute walk to Riva and Diocletian's Palace.

Hotel
Hotel Luxe Split is a stylish and modern boutique hotel located in the center of Split, close to popular attractions such as the historic Old City, Diocletian's Palace, and Bacvice Beach. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and onsite parking included in the room price. Guests can enjoy amenities like a sleek restaurant, 24-hour bar, spa with a gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, and breakfast.
The location was excellent just 200 meters away from harbor and old town. The room was very spacious with great view of sea and cruise ships. The bathroom was equally good. Though the lobby was little small but it was very well done. They had a small gym, sauna, jacuzzi, hot tub and spa at underground level. The breakfast was was very good served at lobby level restaurant. The best part of this beautiful boutique hotel beside location was their reception staff who were always ready to help the guests with smiling faces. Full value for money.
Balkrishna S — Google review
Location was great. Outside the hubbub of the Riva and palace area, but just a 5 minute walk to both. Staff was courteous and consistently friendly and helpful. No pretense whatsoever. The ladies in the breakfast room should be especially commended. They do a great job. The lobby was comfortable and very clean, although the lobby AC was out while we were there. The gym facilities were clean, well equipped, and adequate. I might have used the spa, but you had to allow staff at least 30 minutes to get the sauna and hot tub ready. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, except it didn’t have a smart TV and there were no channels in English. The AC worked well. The room was refreshed daily. We stayed 5 nights and would liked to have stayed longer. I recommend this hotel for couples or individuals for cleanliness and location.
Dan D — Google review
This hotel is perfectly located for the old town and access to the harbour and restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious for a single guest. There is also the bonus on having access to a gym, sauna and whirlpool. Breakfast is classic continental and had a good mix of meats, cereal, toast, pastries etc. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially when looking for good restaurants). Unfortunately due to an emergency in the UK, I had to cut my holiday short after 2 days. Due to the situation the hotel graciously offered to refund me for my lost 4 nights. So can honestly offer 5* for the customer service experience.
Trish — Google review
Wonderful hotel within a few minutes walk to the city. Excellent amenities including Gym, Sauna, and Whirlpool. The staff were welcoming, courteous, and very helpful. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Very comfortable bed. I really enjoyed my 4 night stay there and highly recommend Hotel Luxe.

Location Location!! Loved the location of this property! We went into the Palace walls area multiple times a day. The breakfast was great, quaint rooms and lovely local vibe when on the balcony. Very disappointing jacuzzi however, needs to come off of the website as an amenity, it was ice cold.
Cyndi B — Google review
Avoid this hotel – not worth the price or the headache. We booked a 5-Day stay here based on positive reviews and were deeply disappointed. From day one, our room had fire ants, which we immediately reported. Despite multiple follow-ups, the hotel only offered a different room on the third day — well after we had already endured ant bites and discomfort. At that point, it was too little, too late. The property is poorly maintained and managed: Elevator safety is a serious issue: it dropped an entire floor while my partner was inside. Later that night, it stopped working altogether, forcing us to climb stairs at 4 AM after returning from an event. Shower was clogged for a full day, and we had to manually remove hair from the drain. The gym is extremely small and under-equipped, far below expectations for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was inedible, and there was little to no effective customer service. While a few staff members were polite and tried to help, the overall management was unresponsive and dismissive. We asked to speak with a manager multiple times and never received a call back. Despite reaching out through Expedia, Amex Travel, and Chase Travel, none of the booking agencies could reach the hotel because their phone system was conveniently down. We paid over $400 per night and were treated like an inconvenience, not guests. The hotel still refuses to issue any refund, claiming that an "upgrade" offered on the third day should have resolved everything — even after days of ant bites, broken facilities, and terrible service. As promised to both the property and ourselves, we’re leaving this review with deep disappointment. There are far better hotels in the same or even lower price range — do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Heritage building
Located in the heart of Diocletian's Palace, Villa Split Heritage Hotel offers 4 star accommodation and all rooms come with air-conditioning, LCD TV, private bathroom and fridge. The hotel is also free of charge to use self parking and allergy free rooms are available.
This was the perfect locale for our first time in Split! The room was spacious, big bathroom and comfortable bed. Loved all the big windows that opened up for fresh air. They have a sweet welcoming breakfast nook and make eggs and other breakfast items to order. The Hotel is small and charming which is the best part. Evana the receptionist went out of her way to accommodate any questions or provide help It was my birthday during our stay and she had a big box of the best chocolates waiting in the room for us one day. Being inside the Palace walls can be noisy (garbage collection carts in the morning ) but that kind of added to the charm. Close to many great restaurants. We'd stay here again...and you should too!
Peg M — Google review
Wonderful hotel in the heart of the old town. It's more than a 1,000 years old, and you feel the history and charm from every corner. It only has 3 rooms, so if you get one, you can be certai of very attentive service. The staff, and indeed every local we spoke to are the friendliest people I've ever met - and I'm Irish! They were excellent representatives for Croatia, and the people of Split, and have left us just wanting to come back asap
Paul K — Google review
This is, by far, the best heritage hotel we have ever visited. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly, the rooms are quaint and romantic, and our entire experience has been delightful. We stayed in the annex building, which is a short distance from the main building and we could not have been treated any better had we been royalty.
Stephen F — Google review
This was an amazing hotel! Not only was the location in the city unbelievable but everyone who works there is so helpful! One of the employees met us at the garage outside of town to help us park and walk our stuff to the hotel, which was amazing! The breakfast was great and the rooms were so cool! Wish we stayed another night here!
Laura U — Google review
As others have said - well worth telling them you need the car park. Colleague met us at the car park and escorted us directly to the hotel. Immaculate room, lovely breakfast, charming, friendly people.
Matthew T — Google review
I booked this hotel through Expedia. I picked the pay later option for once I arrived. I booked through expedia with a American express. I saw later on the hotel website that they didn't accept American express once you arrive and need a visa or mastercard which I have neither. I needed to cancel room before arrival and they went ahead and charged the full amount through expedia on my American express. They need to be more specific when booking about what payment methods are accepted upon arrival.
Lauren B — Google review
The staff was amazing and so helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING!

Bacvice Beach in Split, Croatia is a popular destination known for its sandy shore and shallow waters, attracting sunbathers and swimmers alike. The area also offers various dining options such as Caffe-restoran Dvor, Konoba MATONI, and Taboo Beach Bar. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like Emperor Diocletian's Palace, Sustipan, and Klis Fortress.
A beautiful beach to swim at. If you want to stay on shore it gets full, but there is a huge amount of space in the water at all depths. The beach is sandy so easy to get into and no pain for the feet. As per all Split beaches there are no life guards, but no riptide either. People do jump off the rocks at one end, but note I saw a boy fall and taken to hospital. So be careful.
Antony C — Google review
Our favourite sand beach in Split. Quite crowded but great for families with children (shallow waters). Perfectly refreshing and easy walk to or from the oldtown. Parking available nearby, but can be crowded in the summer / high season. Also, across the street there's another playground for the kids.
Fredrica B — Google review
The beach is very dirty - covered in graffiti, and smelt strongly of urine. The only reason to give two stars is that any coastal view in croatia is pretty. But you're better off sat by the harbour or going elsewhere (like to one of the islands).
Lucie P — Google review
We went early in the morning to avoid the crowds and bring our own coffee just to enjoy the sound of the waves. Black beautiful sandy beach. Showers and shops/bar around. Safe shallow water level and good for family with small children. <3
SYLVIA N — Google review
Was nice that the beach is sand not pebbles but the beaches further around by Marjan are prettier. We arrived pretty early so had plenty of spots to choose from. I imagine it gets packed in the height of summer. There is a cafe/ bar if that's what you're after. There was a changing area and loungers and umbrellas for hire
Rachael T — Google review
The beach is okay, not super pretty but it has sand. It was crowded of course but that’s expected during the high season, there is still enough space to sit and swim. You can rent just a parasol for 15EUR and a bed for 10EUR. A bit expensive but cheaper compared to other beaches in Split. There is a cafe with toilet, the prices of the drinks were reasonable. And a few snack bars just before entering the beach.
Alexandra G — Google review
Sand beach with clear water. The sandy part is a little crowded, but there are stone places with banks where you can enter the sea by stairs. Not many facilities, so bringing your own food and drinks is wise
Irmak Y — Google review
Nothing special. This beach is often frequented by many persons cause is very close to the main center of split, but i don’t really think there’s something related to the quality. The water is bad comparing to other places around the city, and the sand too. I had a bath in the other side on the rock walk as i saw other people do the same

Kasjuni Beach is a top choice for those seeking a stunning beach experience in Split. Located on the western shores of Marjan, it offers a picturesque view with cliffs surrounding the deep bay. Visitors can enjoy various amenities such as a cafe bar, restaurant, cabana and lounge chair rentals, massages, and water sports activities like parasailing and stand-up paddle boarding at Joes Beach & Lounge Bar.
This place is just amazing. I went here during August in weekday and the crowd was okay, so not too many people. The beach is actually clean and the water as y’all can see from the photos is wonderful. The place has a bar with music too (maybe kinda expensive, but this is Split :/
Michael P — Google review
A large, free pebble beach with crystal-clear water and no waves. There are two bars with loungers and umbrellas, few restrooms, a small free parking lot near the beach and another small one uphill. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the beach. One side is protected by nature, offering some shade, while the central area is completely open for sunbathing. Bring the essentials: water and food, snorkeling gear, shoes, and possibly a tent for sun protection. In early September, it's not crowded, and the blue water temperature is perfect for bathing. There's a small dog area on one side and a nudist area on the other.
Jefferson A — Google review
The most beautiful beach in Croatia. We found a starfish, jumping fish, an octopus and ducks all swimming a good distance from us. The water is so clear and clean. We went around 8am and it was EMPTY, I definitely recommend going early if you don’t want to be around the crowds.
Jj B — Google review
It is 15 minutes drive or an hour walk from old town. We went on a weekday when it was not very crowded. We easily got sun beds at Joe's Beach Bar. The beach has got rocks and there is almost no sand only pebbles therefore water shoe is highly recommended. Parking was not a problem for us since we went by taxi. Joe's bar had all the facilities as far as drinks and food was concerned with excellent service and ambience. Those who need more privacy could go little further but no facilities. No doubt one of the best beach around Split.
Balkrishna S — Google review
Nice beach, not too big but stretches on a long palm trees and mountains’ views. You must bring your sandals as this not a sandy beach. You can also bring food as there are only 2 restaurants and they aren’t the cheapest but you would have possibility to eat and drink something, you would also need cash Parking is free but needs some parking skills
Souhir B — Google review
Beautiful beach! We arrived at 10am and there was a lot of free space. Around 11 a lot of people started coming and it became a little crowded, but there was a good vibe. There is natural shade near the trees at the corners of the beach.
Josefina C — Google review
Wonderful beach just a couple minute drive from the center of Split. The water was crystal clear and the overall atmosphere was also amazing. The views were great, and overall just a good spot to escape the city. Just beware, it gets crowded pretty quickly.
Krzysztof S — Google review
It’s a pretty beach it’s just incredibly crowded as it’s only a 5 minute drive from downtown. Like literally every spot along the entire stretch of beach had people on it. You’re much better off going to one of the nearby islands if you want a more private/relaxing beach experience, but if you’re just in Split for a day it’s okay.

Nestled in a serene neighborhood just a short drive from the city center, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa in Split offers a tranquil retreat with chic waterfront accommodations. The recently renovated five-star hotel features 252 rooms, many of which boast balconies overlooking the picturesque islands of Brac and Solta.
I had a wonderful stay at Radisson. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like a welcomed guest. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and they were happy to assist me with any questions I had. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the provided amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi and a modern bathroom with excellent water pressure. The hotel facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed the fitness center and the relaxation area by the pool, which was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The hotel’s restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and I was especially impressed by the breakfast buffet. Most of all, I was impressed by the attentive service and the overall atmosphere of comfort and luxury. I would highly recommend [hotel name] to anyone looking for an unforgettable and enjoyable vacation. I look forward to returning here soon!

I did a 50min Stress Away massage that was absolutely wonderful. The spa is beautiful the rooms are super peaceful and my massage therapist, Doris, was so sweet. She prepared a lovely pot of tea for me afterwards as well. Delightful experience. I would definitely come again! The suite was also gorgeous. The view our terrace was magical. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We cannot praise the Radisson Blu Split highly enough. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful suite where welcome drinks and chocolates awaited us. The room was spotless and wonderfully appointed, the house staff cleaned every day leaving water, towels, whatever we needed. The Mint bar was lovely, great cocktails and food, especially Marjan who was so friendly and welcoming. In reception Maria and Lea were always so kind and gave good hints and tips for our stay. The pool area was really clean, great service and food too. Breakfasts were excellent, something for everyone and plenty of choice. On our last night we were delivered a farewell platter of goodies which was very unexpected but delicious! We were also given a late check out which was most welcome as we had a late flight home. All in all we cannot thank everyone enough for a great stay, Croatia has been wonderful and we would definitely stay at the Radisson again.

Oh my Goodness!! I just have to say that I loveeeed being at the Radisson Blu!! When we first got here we needed to change our rooms & we needed extra accommodations. We spoke to Rasa who was literally amazing! She helped us so much & was our angel!! She went above & beyond to make us happy! I’m so glad we met her! Absolutely loved her! And at The Mint Bar these guys Peter, Ivan, Marin, and Luka really went above and beyond to make our restaurant experience soo great! We stayed here for one week & they literally made our experience soo great! They knew us and remembered everything we liked! And they were so friendly & fun! We enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to go anywhere else in the evening! We always came back! I highly recommend The Mint Bar! I want to thank them for everything!

We were biking across Croatia for 8 days; and decided to stay at the Radisson Blu for four days after to enjoy the city of Split. Great proximity to downtown, Amazing hospitality. The spa was awesome; Shan and Stefanie gave us a very relaxing massage. Best of all; was our waiters Marjan and Ivan who waited on us for three night. They were fun, kind and very responsive! Not to mention the Burger was delicious! Will highly recommend to my American travelers!

Gym could be a bit more equiped, but the spa and pool area are outstanding. Hygiene level is better than other hotel spa's in the area. The staff is very attentive and professional. Hotel offers a variety of treatments in the treatment zone. Stress away massage by Anja was a great choice for me. I would recommend it!

Absolutely immaculate facilities. The only issue is we are in the off season there was construction happening literally outside our balcony. A crane AT the height of our room and grinding noises every day... unfortunate. The room itself is amazing however. The hotel staff were perfectly cordial and willing to help our tourist selves. Even helped with allergy accommodations and brought fruit up instead of chocolates to be safe with our nut allergy. Do yourself a favor and book a treatment with Spalato! Absolutely the best ive ever felt leaving a spa. Anya and Iryna are stellar, please request them! 🤯 Anya was able to get every single problem muscle to un-tense in less than an hour!

One of the best hotels I’ve been to! We came with such warm hospitality, the staff are lovely and accommodating 😌 The spa was very nice with a lot of facilities, it felt very luxurious. My favourite part was the breakfast, the staff are welcoming and the food has a lot of variety with gluten free options, too many to choose from 😋 The room was clean and spacious and I would definitely recommend this place! The hotel has its own beach as well and the views are amazing 😍

We came back from Split not too long ago, absolutely beautiful place and would recommend. We stayed here and upon our arrival was upgraded for free to the minerva suite. HUGE room with a HUGE bed, which was so comfy and definitely gave us a good nights rest. The breakfast had a good selection and something to look forward to every morning. Staff were also very lovely and never failed to say hello in the mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back in a heart beat, thank you!❤️

Rooms are big and comfortable. Beds are huge and hotel staff is very kind and helpful. 20 minutes walking to Diocletian’s palace. Well assorted breakfast buffet.

A great hotel option just outside of Split’s city center. It’s only a short Uber ride or a scenic 20-minute walk to the Old Town. The rooftop pool is a standout feature, perfect for sunny afternoons. Rooms are clean, quiet, and provide excellent value.

Loved our stay here, Phillipe initially was extremely helpful in setting up our stay, all the staff have been amazing and smiley. We spent a part of our honeymoon here and couldn't be happier in our 6th floor suite with sea view. It also has a seperate bar at the base of the hotel in addition to the 2nd floor restaurant and library/ games room area. Our room is really big and fitted really well, spent a lot of time on the rooftop pool/jacuzzi area, beautiful views of the city and sea. We'd strongly suggest taking up the breakfast option as it is really varied and great quality.

An amazing hotel… 1.8 kms from the heart of the old town… but worth the small distance. Fantastic rooms; even better buffet breakfast. And I might just mention the rooftop pool and sauna just for laughs ❤️❤️
Marc B — Google review
Nice city hotel. Pool area located on the roof is a great chill out area with a hot tub, small gym & sauna. It’s a short bus ride into the Split city & restaurants are around 10-15 mins walk in both directs. Staff were very pleasant & helpful.

Small hotel but this goes with city centre hotels. Looks quite old fashioned and needs some TLC - very small rooftop pool, with limited sunbeds, but we were only there for a couple of days so it was fine. Staff were lovely - we took an early morning boat trip and they made us a packed lunch without us asking.

The Jupiter Luxury Hotel in Split is a sophisticated accommodation option located in the heart of the old town within the UNESCO protected Diocletian Palace. This boutique hotel offers unique rooms, a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the old town, and amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, and bar. The sleek interiors behind its old stone facade provide an elegant setting for guests to unwind after exploring nearby attractions like the Temple of Jupiter and Diocletian's Palace.
Absolutely amazing experience. Front desk staff were awesome. Location unbeatable, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, and inside the palace area. We stayed for one night after boating - 2 adults + 2 kids. Everything from check-in to check-out was so good. Room large and spacious. They even gave us a bottle of wine for our room. Will stay here again, for sure.

Looking back, I think I enjoyed it more that I did at the time. This is a bit of a quirky hotel, ideally located in the Roman Palace /old town of Split. Difficult to access if you have difficulty with steps (it is the nature of the old town, not the fault of the hotel). Our room was 301, right in the top. The room was fairly small, but he bathroom was big, and well appointed. However, I got the impression that the person who designs the hotel rooms never actually stay in them. I hope the hotel will read this feedback because there are some small and easy changes they could make to improve things. There were 4 coathangers in the wardrobe- you might not hang up your clothes, but we like to and there were 2 of us. Please buy some more hangars. There was no hook to put jackets, so we used the towel hooks in the bathroom instead. the bathroom door only had opaque panels, but you could see through the door (if you were standing the hall) There was no reading light by the bed- I like to read in bed, and my mum, who I travelled with likes to sleep with low lights, which was impossible. The beds were very soft, as other people have mentioned in some reviews on booking.com, so if you prefer hard mattresses this is not for you. I am sure when we booked , it mentioned they had tea/coffee facilities, but there were none in the room. There is a coffee machine at the breakfast buffet. However, it was switched off the rest of the day- which was a shame, I would have appreciated it if we had the ability to use the machine later in the day to make tea and coffee. Despite all this I don't regret this choice of hotel, the staff were helpful. location perfect and breakfast was really good too. Just see if its the right choice for you

Cute boutique hotel in a great location. The front desk staff were brilliant, helpful and kind. The rooms were small but nicely done and clean. The only downside was we had two small single beds pushed together and my pillow was like a bag of socks. I found a spare in the wardrobe but it wasn't much better. The hot tub on the roof was the selling point but it is cold. We used it anyway because the views were amazing and we hoped it would be warmer the second time but it wasn't. Loved the service and location. Would stay again. Breakfast was a surprisingly big and varied buffet and very nice.
Paz — Google review
The staff (except for Ivana, she was lovely) was extremely rude and not helpful at all with the luggage or questions we had. The girl in the front desk doesn’t know anything about client service. The jacuzzi is a lie (it was empty and dirty) and the rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. They don’t have no one to help with the luggage (and there’s a lot of stairs to get there) The breakfast was bad, cold and not fresh. The only good thing to me is the location, is very well located but I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.
Manuela — Google review
Excellent and convenient location inside the palace. Felt safe in and around the hotel. We organised airport transfers through the hotel and this worked really well, with the drivers being really helpful and friendly. At the hotel some of the staff were really friendly. The hotel room was nice but seemed in need of some maintenance - a broken curtain rail, room safe not working (reported but not fixed) and we avoided using one of the lights because it made a fizzing noise when switched on! Breakfast was hit and miss - most mornings, something wasn't quite right - cereal not being replenished or coffee machine not working or running out of black tea bags.
Jason R — Google review
The only thing good is location. We were 4 adults and gave us the smallest room given a mistake they did with other guests. The airconditioning was not working and when it did they controlled it from reception. They had no fridge to store water and it was a sauna in there. They brought a small fridge on the last day. There was no pressure in the water and no shower. There was an old fashioned hand shower that did not work quite for a 2m man. The electrical sockets were all loose and falling apart. The worst experience ever.
Steve N — Google review
Outstanding service and location. Right in the Palace. No parking in the palace, but the hotel staff (upon request) will meet your driver and take your luggage to your room. Lots of cobblestone and steps. So I recommend will arrange for this service.
Rosemary F — Google review
This is not a luxury hotel, despite the name. Firstly, whilst the front of the hotel is secure, the back is not and anyone can gain access to the rooms through a perpetually open back door. Secondly, we paid quite a lot, in Split terms, for a nice room. This room was above a restaurant on one side and the street on the other, with no soundproofing in the room it sounded like any person on either side was right there next to you. Moreover, this was advertised as a jacuzzui bath, which it was, but this was at the sacrifice of a wall mounted shower, and if you did want a shower you were at the wrong end of a fix slanted wooden shutter, so the passing foot traffic gets a good view. Lastly, the included breakfast, awful, cold "warm food", watery coffee, and a general vibe of "why are you here" from the staff. In short, don't bother, better hotels with equally good locations.

I arrived injured & on crutches. Front desk receptionist welcomed me with a smile. A very tall man with with white hair (Mr E) brought me, a much needed ice pack for my knee without me even asking. The room was clean, had an aircon unit and had a great view of the square. Located in the heart of Split you can people watch to you'd hearts content. Breakfast starts at 6am.Bonus! Brilliant for German's too.

I can't speak for the hotel itself seeing as I've never stayed there, but I have, on many occasions, been to their cafe. The location is as central as it gets. It has an antique vibe, a large selection of drinks and a digital lock protected bathroom. The code to the lock is available to guests exclusively and can be found on the bill. The only downside are the prices which are steeper than normal, but this is also to be expected seeing as it's located on Riva.
Ana B — Google review
This is an old world hotel in a very good location. Beds comfortable. Hot water on tap. If you don't mind a tired hotel full of character then this is fine. My main concern is that lack of smoke detectors. If there were any there then they were hiding. In the event of a fire this could be a disaster. No additional fire escape routes either.
Kate F — Google review
Good location, lovely sea front. The staff are friendly. The shop is slightly overpriced but they had the essentials. It's close to Trogir and not too far from Split either. The Medina hotel beach is a close walk and there are quite a few restaurants on that strip too.
Seema M — Google review
The best thing about this hotel is a location. It is in the very center of the City of Split & has an excellent view at the sea and Splitska Riva. The staff is very hospitable and is ready to help you. Downside is, however, that hotel itself has an 1980's touch so it needs some kind of renovation.
Nemo B — Google review
If you have any sense of smell then I strongly suggest that you avoid this place. I had already paid for 2 nights but we just couldn't sit in a snink of cigarettes and stale water, it was making us feel ill. We had to really push for another room which was better but when we were hit by the fresh air of the road outside as we popped out we realised that whist it was less bad neither of us was comfortable with the thought of sleeping there. I don't think the management understand, they thought Fabreeze spray would sort it and we weren't even refunded for our breakfast. It's a good location.

We did not stay there but only had coffee which is one of the best I've had in town. Great location with a view of the harbor and street scene, plus lots of charm inside.

The Croatian restaurant Konoba Atlantida is a great place to enjoy a meal overlooking the fishing dock in Split. They are very welcoming to dogs, and the terrace is a great place to relax after a busy day exploring the city.
Awesome inexpensive and pleasant lunch. Way past the tourist strip and well worth the walk (5min). Authentic local Dalmatian food, served a little brusquely but non the less pleasantly. Ozujsko beer is very good as is the house wine, which is very different to what I usually like, but pairs with the food nicely when it cools down. We will definitely be back here

Big portions, lovely atmosphere and a balcony seat with excellent harbour view coupled with really good wine made us come back twice. The waiter Gabriel has been fantastic giving lots of really good recommendations about the best food and wine both times.

The food is really nice as well as the side dish. The location is easy to find. We had a lovely lunch there during our time in split.

Food at this restaurant was really good and satisfying. We enjoyed our dinner and the view was great too! The waiter was friendly and attentive. We were served a portion of their crepe dessert free of charge, which was a nice bonus. We ordered a lot of food, but the thing that stood out was the freshness of all the fish, and how well they were cooked!

Very nice location & view. The staff was very friendly but even though we were the only guests it took them 30 minutes to deliver our food. The two risotos we ordered was decent at best.

Visited Konoba Atlantida for a quick snack and a coffee. The restaurant has a pleasant terrace that looks out on the marina. The menu consists of mainly Croatian dishes, as should be expected. The service was quick and efficient. Prices were usual for this area of town, i.e.: fairly steep for Eastern Europe but acceptable by western standards. Looks like a decent place for lunch and dinner if one doesn't mind paying tourist prices

Good restaurant with a nice view at the sea, but sadly directly at a road. Food is ok, too. Solid choice for eating, but nothing fancy.

Hot beer! it would be enough to go away, but we are not so smart and keep on! portions were really small, a couple of baby squid with some potato & vegetables....the price, in opposition to the portions, very high, in any case all the city center is expensive.

Gourmet Bar Basta is a pizzeria and cocktail bar situated on Split's Zapadna Riva, offering a blend of rustic and modern decor that creates a Mediterranean ambiance. The establishment provides stunning views of the sea, the center of Split, and the port. Known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas made with original recipes, their Napoletana pizza stands out with its perfectly baked crust, fine mozzarella, and fresh basil. Additionally, they offer pagnottielli sandwiches.
Delicious pizza, fabulous service and a great place to people watch if you’re eating outside. We’re able to get seated without a reservation, but if you’re able to make one it would probably be best. Bufala Bianca was a little bit watery, but still tasty

Amazing pizza right at the seaside in Split! Basta serves an amazing menu at a very nice setting. The atmosphere is simply amazing and makes having food there a real joy. The service is very good and the waiters very attentive. I’ve started with the salmon avocado salad served with freshly made and nicely spiced focaccia bread. I was really surprise at the bread and really recommend anyone having a try at it. For my main dish I had the pizza tartufo, which was made in napoletana style, exactly how I love it. Really enjoyed myself and will certainly visit again on my next visit to Split!

We visited BASTA twice during our trip and it was our favourite place to eat, drink and relax. Excellent service, very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food delicious! We loved the little birds flying in and out the cafe it added to the experience. Overall just a wonderful spot and I want your music playlist!

Nice pizzeria on the waterfront in Split. It’s on the higher end of price, but actually very reasonable considering some of the other waterfront restaurants. Also, it’s slightly down from the main hustle and bustle of the market and restaurant strip so not as crowded if you’re looking for a slightly quieter vibe. We found plenty of tables available, and we visited at 8pm on a Sunday evening in August. Pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Most important, they serve great food at a relatively reasonable price. Between us we had the Fantasia Di Pollo salad, Pagnuttiello Con Tonno E Mozzarella (a tuna like sandwich with pizza dough as the bread), and the Margarita and Bufalona pizzas. All the food was well played, delicious and flavourful. We highly recommend!
D S — Google review
Food is excellent. Everything is tasty and the service was good. The view is a great plus. 😍 However, I have to advise you to bring your own cutlery since knifes are really blunt. The only plus about it is that you will have huge triceps. 😂 Jokes aside, knifes are so blunt that even cutting a pizza was a challenge lol
Petar B — Google review
View was really peaceful away from the main strip with all the tourists. The staff were friendlier here and the drinks were good and better priced than at the main strip. Would recommend!
Hazel B — Google review
Only had one meal out in Split and chose here as it had a great view over the port. Beers were good, music was chill and the pizzas we had between the four of us looked and tasted great. Wish we had gone in early in the week!

First night and split we went here and it has left a high bar for anyone to meet. Friendly and welcoming as we entered they did not disappoint. I accidentally dropped a knife and within seconds a waiter had noticed and brought a new one without us asking. We ordered pizzas with request for some bits not to be included and it came as requested. Pizza where fresh with a thin base but puffy crisp edges just the way I like it.

Renowned for its delightful array of cakes and pastries, Bobis is where nostalgia meets flavor—each bite reminiscent of childhood memories. I’ve been staying in the city for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten fresh bread, croissants, and donuts almost every single day. The staff has always been kind and helpful to me and the pastries are the best croissants I’ve had in split. I’ve tried multiple different breads from them and they’ve always been tasty. I’ve gone primarily in the morning so I can’t speak for the freshness towards the end of the day but I would recommend this bakery to everyone.

No food. Service was lacking but also made you feel at ease. Ordered 2 fantastic and got 2 differant types... never seen that before. Went to order another drink to be told they had closed. It would have been nice to have been told, but no problem, plenty of surrounding places are still serving. Shame has loads of potential but badly ran. A drink was a drink, so it was what it was, but if you're looking for somewhere with a bit of something... this isn't your place.

Popped in here for a coffee. Also went across the street to their hole in the wall. Staff were friendly enough and efficient. They have a wide range of drinks and pastries. These were very good overall. We had the cherry slice which is a Croatian classic. Really enjoyed this and the pastry was very light - filling not too sweet. Well worth a visit for a quick a value bite.

Good cafe in Split, located at a very nice location, nice view. The food is just okay, not that bad but I like the long coffee that they serve, quite good. Hotel Fanat is a charming and unpretentious hotel located right on the pebbly beach of Znjan, offering warm and inviting rooms with sea views. The hotel features an indoor pool, a restaurant with a terrace, and free WiFi access. With 22 comfortable rooms equipped with modern amenities, guests can enjoy coastal views from their private balconies or relax in the indoor swimming pool and sauna. Additionally, the hotel offers entertainment activities, a bar, and bicycle rentals at the reception.
We made a last minute booking at Hotel Fanat because another hotel that we had booked two months prior cancelled on us less than 48 hrs. Everything went smoothly. There was a warm welcome which took the immense stress of the previous days away immediately. There was a construction site at the time of our stay (They are building a beautiful beach promenade) but the sound did not bother at all. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. We will come here again.
Mina R — Google review
Hotel Fanat met our expectations with exceptional service (10/10!) from both the day and night staff. From check-in to check-out, they were friendly, accommodating, and offered excellent advised on what to see locally. Rooms were impeccably clean, well-organized, and beautifully decorated, with spacious bathrooms and a thoughtful welcome pack. The small indoor pool provided a relaxing evening escape. Breakfast was unfortunately below average. The only real downside was the unexpected view of a construction site, which unfortunately impacted our sea view room. While we understand this is beyond the hotel's control, a heads-up beforehand would have been appreciated. Overall, a recommended stay.

Restaurant servers need to be attentive. They were not busy my female was good at first but became involved in conversation with what appeared to.be her only other party I hope you expect more from your wait start. The food was great and the service fell off a cliff. This was 9/14/25.. Please note I liked the hotel otherwise.

A great base, nice, clean base and given a very nice upgrade on arrival. All the staff we encountered were lovely. Has a garage, breakfast was lovely and has a decent spa / pool / gym etc. The only downfall is the amount of work going on locally - all around is a building site. That said, it was just a base for us to explore Split from and served us perfectly.

I stayed at Hotel Fanat and I’m satisfied. Nice view, beach just a short walk away. The food was good, and the hotel restaurant was also fine. I enjoyed the wellness area with the pool – a great place to relax. There’s a newly built beach area right in front of the hotel, and once it’s fully finished, this will be an amazing spot for a holiday.
Lukas D — Google review
The hotel is very clean and the service is even better. The staff went above and beyond being helpful and kind during our stay. The hotel breakfast has enough variety for most to be able to enjoy a filling breakfast. There’s a small beach right across the street of the property and the location of the hotel is 10-15 min away from other great beaches and places to visit in split. We were able to easily park our rental car there as well. There is currently a lot of construction happening which ruins the waterfront views slightly but when it’s complete it will be beautiful! Thank you hotel fanat for a great stay :)

‼️ The beach and the area around the hotel is in a big reconstruction ‼️ The project at the beach started in the beginning of the year and I did a reservations in the middle of the September. Somebody could to tell me, that there is no beach, no market, the hotel doesn’t have a dinner and that you have to pay the whole price!!!! We had to pay a taxi to go somewhere for food. The breakfast at the hotel was cold. The chocolate cake was there for 3 days so you could to see how dry and old is it. Even when I have asked at the desk if they have the information about the big reconstruction on the website, they said no. That’s it. No replacement. This is NOT professional! I also had one drink at the bar, it could be free for the people who doesn’t find a notice about the hotel. Never mind, I have paid everything and don’t want to go back. This system of the hotel sucks.

The Marmont Heritage Hotel provided the most perfect welcome to Croatia we could’ve asked for. Located in a prime position right by Split port and surrounded by restaurants and shops, this hotel was a perfect starting place for mine and my partner’s holiday. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Premium Suite, a gorgeous studio apartment that had a luxurious spa bath, 360 degree shower, comfortable large bed and our own private terrace. We planned on exploring the city on our first night but ended up just staying in the room, eating bagels on our terrace over looking the gorgeous orange roofs of Split as the sun set. A MASSIVE shout-out and thank you to Filip at reception, who was truly a gem. His humour, professionalism and charm left a lasting impression that my partner and I still discuss a month after our stay. He went above and beyond (x4!) to ensure that our stay was nothing less than extraordinary. We are so appreciative to him and thank him for making our time at the Marmont hotel a highlight of our time in Croatia.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of split! Couldn’t have a better location. The room we stayed in was very clean and newly renovated. Amazing big bathrooms and showers. The hot tub on the roof top overlooking old city is amazing. Breakfast was great as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to split!

Excellent stay. Wonderful staff. Special thanks to Marija for superb dining and general guide recommendations. Filip, Anna and all the other staff were charming and engaged. Excellent location and amenities. Couldn't fault.

I meant to book a different hotel with my friends, but accidentally booked Hotel Marmont which ended up being the best mistake I could have made. Just 30 seconds from Narodni trg plaza and my friend’s hotel, it blends chic modern with historic charm. Pilip at reception made me feel instantly at home, gave fantastic dinner recommendations (Laganini was unforgettable), and even surprised me with a gorgeous upgraded room featuring a rooftop-view patio. Marija and the rest of the staff were equally warm and genuine. I left feeling like I’d stayed with friends — and I’d come back in a heartbeat.

This is for me the perfect experience. The food is amazing I could even say the best food i've ever had. The service is amazing they explain everthing perfectly from the wine to the food. It's worth every penny and a must try when you're in Croatia. Thanks for this amazing food!

Popped in for lunch, and the food and location were amazing. Tried to pay and the entire restaurant seemed empty of staff, and took 10 minutes of wandering around the venue to find a member of staff. Only customers there and it seemed like the place had closed and not told us

Lovely place and restaurant, far away from the old town choas. Terrace overlooking a small harbour and the sea. The food was exquisite and the service sympathetic. We had a lovely relaxed lunch there while coming back down from Marjan hill. Extensive choices and menu.

Absolutely amazing… for me - the best hotel in Split I don’t even know where to begin… this hotel completely blew me away. From the moment I arrived, everything was just perfect. The staff is incredibly kind, genuinely helpful and so well trained. You can really feel that they love what they do and they go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The breakfast was out of this world… incredibly rich, fresh and with so much variety that every morning felt like a little feast. I have rarely experienced such a high quality buffet. The cleanliness, the beautiful interior, the breathtaking view and the perfect location… I honestly loved every single thing about this hotel. It just has that special something. I would never stay anywhere else in Split. An absolute five star experience in every possible way.

Hotel Park is a small and cozy five star hotel with excellent facilities and a high quality restaurant. The hot tub and pool in the peaceful garden create a calm and relaxing atmosphere with sun loungers and an outdoor bar available for guests. Our room had access to a small balcony that led to a shared terrace with private sunbeds and tables reserved for the sea and pool facing rooms located on the first floor above the garden level. The service was outstanding and the staff were always friendly and helpful. A perfect hotel for those seeking a romantic and tranquil experience in a luxurious setting.

Great hotel right around the corner of the city center, close to the beach and ferry terminal. Nice gym, pretty good evening restaurant, simple but good lunch, good breakfast with live piano that lasts until 11, very appreciated. Highly recommended.
Raphael C — Google review
We spent 2 nights at Hotel Park Split with our two young children. The hotel definitely doesn’t position itself as a “family first hotel”; nonetheless, a lot was available to accommodate family with children. We had a duplex room on the top floor, with two big beds (one of which was a sofa bed) and a baby cot. There was plenty of space. The only “minus” of the room is that since it’s facing the public beach, many youngsters were partying and screaming on the beach till early morning. In spite of the noise cancelling windows and walls, we could still hear some of those noises. Breakfast / lunch / dinner at the hotel was decent. Options were a bit limited - especially we had just spent a week at Valamar before Hotel Park Split, it was quite pricey for what it was as well (then again, this is the case for all touristy places in Croatia in the summer), but food was tasty, and staff was very considerate with different formats of baby chairs available for kids at different ages. Overall the hotel facility was a bit outdated, and the decoration style looked like it was straight out from the 90s. But service, staff, house keeping quality and cleanliness were all top notch.
Jessica M — Google review
We received a warm welcome with wine , chocolates and fruits however the whole stay was below average. The lobby is so tiny I had to check twice if that is the hotel I booked for such high prices. Warming they don’t have a dedicated concierge. The person at the reception was not helpful as well. This staff pointed us to a few tour companies and told us to figure it out with them. No solid recommendations. The person who is at the lobby helping you with luggage and doors was surprisingly really helpful. They tried to help us. Biggest problem is the infrastructure, the rooms are tiny and the sea view is through a tiney window of the room. It seems as if we want to peak at the sea. The toilet was built for someone who is really tall I had to hop to reach the hooks on the side of the doors and found it difficult to reach the plug points or even to get out of the bath tub felt like I was going to slip because of the height difference. Also I want to take a moment to disciple how sad the breakfast buffet was. The tables were not set with basic cutlery ketchup or any condiments. The food looked really old and tasted old too. The croissants were saggy ad waffle was tough. The fruits didn’t feel fresh as well. For so much money very sad experience.

Currently staying here now and couldn’t be happier! Amazing and gracious staff. Breakfast is great as are the cocktails! Close to old town and all the beach. Highly recommended it!

I celebrated my wedding here and was extremely disappointed that the event manager failed to organize the outdoor seating with her staff – especially since this was the main reason I chose this location. On top of that, she was extremely rude. I would never book this venue again.
Katarina D — Google review
Edit 4/9/25: have since found a charge on my credit card from the hotel. They say its for the mini bar which is false nothing was taken from the mini bar!. Friendly staff and the hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the port/old town. Does have a small beach next to it this was always busy never looked the cleanest if im honest tho. Room was clean and had all i needed shame it was a single bed tho. For some odd reason the shower head is bigger than the bathtub and over hangs meaning if you use it water goes all over the bathroom floor. Was also at the back of the hotel looking onto another building sadly the best views are the front rooms.

Beaches
Plaža Kaštelet is a popular pebbly beach in Split, known for its palm trees and great swimming opportunities. It is favored by the younger crowd and is located just below the Ivan Strović Gallery, around 20 minutes away from the town center. Accessible by foot, local bus, or car, this quieter beach offers a more laid-back atmosphere without many amenities. The fate of its food and beverage offerings for the upcoming summer season remains uncertain.
This is a great beach, the water is very clear (as it is all around Split) and it's lovely to have a park full of trees at your back on the beach (albeit, up a hill). It's a pebble beach and the slope down is quite steep, it goes from shallow to deep in only a few metres, so careful not to go out too far if you're not a strong swimmer. Plenty of parking, but also lots of spots to chill.
Mat B — Google review
Awesome views, great diving spots and lots of parking space. The commerce scene is … not existent so take your cold beverages and food with you. Unfortunately, not pet/dog friendly based on the signs but saw a few people locals with their dogs so… go figure?!
Marcelo B — Google review
Very pretty, small to medium sized shingle beach and seabed but not pebbles like you'd find in Brighton. Despite no sand it was scenic and quieter, really lovely on a hot day. We walked a long way to try to find the bar we'd heard was there but didn't come across one. We saw something a long way off that may have been a bar but we weren't prepared to walk any further ro check it out in the heat so I would take your own refreshments.
Arlette R — Google review
Great beach! The water is clean and crystal clear. I really liked how well it’s equipped: there are changing cabins, showers, and steps for entering the water. It looks like the trees were planted not too long ago, so there isn’t much natural shade yet, but I think in a couple of years it will be even better. There are no sunbeds for rent, but the pebbles aren’t too big, so it’s quite comfortable to stay on a towel.
Yanina V — Google review
Beautiful spot. Plenty of space and lots of free parking, if you have a car. We walked from the promenade and didn't take us long.
Rachael T — Google review
Taking morning swims an sun gazing at this beach is a blessing. We get here around 7.15 and there are already people swimming 🙂 Very nice public beach, where locals go. It has a parking space, showers and changing spaces. Not sure about WC's as didn't look for one. There are beaches either side with access from shore and steps. Lots of small trees that give a little shade. It's a pebble beach and the slope down is quite steep, it goes from shallow to deep in only a few metres, so be careful not to go out too far if you're not a strong swimmer. What it is really nice, there are NO beach bars so no loud music and no smell of burnt fish or candy suggar or any other BS. Just puur nature and normal people. Pretty views of islands to the south and clean and azure water. A place to be.
Sabrina M — Google review
Beautiful water but trickier to get to walking and a pebble beach so a bit painful getting in and out of the water. Not too crowded.
Antony C — Google review
Superb beach, very clean, plenty of parking, clean toilets, showers, changing cabins, clean and beautiful water, not crowded even on a weekend in September, grest views, close to the center. For us it was perfect.

Duilovo - Dog Beach, located in Split, is a popular spot for both locals and tourists due to its easy accessibility. The long semicircular beach is covered in smooth pebbles and offers shallow waters suitable for families. While it may not be the most tranquil place for sunbathing, it's perfect for young people looking to socialize and have fun. Additionally, the beach provides amenities such as changing rooms and showers for visitors.
Great location and just a few hundred meters to the east of the google marker is a great place to jump from the cliffs.

It really needs drinking water for the pups. It is a small rocky beach with no infrastructure. Not even a bin. *2024 edit* Now there is a bin. Excellent. Maybe soon we get a water tap as well. 🤞🏼

Better to have a dog beach than not to have a dog beach but in general it is a shame for a city like Split: dirty, too small, no natural shade, a big construction next to it, no opportunity to sit down.

Little tents, nice beach and a lot of friendly dogs and friendly people! It's a great spot for your dog to relax, swim and hang out.

Located in Split, Croatia, Dujam Hotel offers basic accommodations with 35 rooms providing city views. Situated near Joker Mall and the historic Cathedral of Saint Domnius, this hotel-turned-hostel features common kitchens for every four rooms and is within walking distance of colleges and shopping areas. With a central location and affordable rates, it provides a convenient option for travelers looking to explore the city.
We are staying over at Split before departing back to Cleveland and we are eating out at this hotel with a beautiful view on Adriatic see, prices are amazing: pizza $16.00 euro large! Enjoing.

Everything looks like old socialism style, mattress is super thin and hard underneath. Good climate control unit. Bathroom is spacious with a shower. TV is an old CRT and super tiny with anyway only 4 channels. Breakfast better than expected, buffet style with variety of bread, fruits, vegetables, cereals, drinks like it's common in European hotels. There is no Minibar.
Leo N — Google review
This is no longer a hotel, its a student's hostel. Centrally located in Split Croatia with all basic facilities that you find in a European hostel. Common kitchens for every four rooms. Two people per room. Very good facility Walking distance from colleges and all shopping requirements.
Claudius W — Google review
In general my room was okay, same like on the pictures. That's all about a pluses. If someone wants to cook, it's a big problem. For whole hostel there are only two kitchens, sometimes one. Also it's not so well equipped and you need to wait more than 2 hours to cook something because the cooker has only two burners. Also the common parts almost always are dirty, what is disgusting. The communication with the hostel is hard. They ignore the emails and till you will not call them and force them to answer you, you can wait forever. Also I need to beg them to give ny deposit back. So if you don't want to fight about your money my advice is to choose another placr to stay. Highly not recommend.
Justyna C — Google review
Stayed as part of a group, but shared twin room with another. Bed was not very comfortable A/C effective Shower is at fixed position half way up the wall, no adjustment available No safe Prices seem expensive compared to hotels closer to the old town Breakfast was disappointing, no hot food, just bread, cold meats and fruit. WiFi is free and speedy
Charlie J — Google review
The rooms were sparsely furnished, but the towels, linens, and bathroom were clean so it met my minimum standards. I don't watch much tv on vacation, but the one provided in the room was only about 19". The AC was strong enough to feel cool (typical single room wall unit). Although it was a non-smoking room, it had a strong cigarette smell, but I was tired enough that I decided to live with it for one night. My friend in the room next door did not have any smoke smell issues, so I think I was just unlucky. The beds were not too comfortable but good enough. The location is about 20-30 minutes from the city center with a grocery store or two on the way. Because of the distance, an Uber or taxi is necessary to get between the bus station or port and the hotel. Ultimately, if you're in a bind and need a place to stay, this hotel is adequate for one night, but I wouldn't choose it if there were other options available closer to the city center.
Sara S — Google review
Terrible hostel. I got screws over by ultra music festival organizers. I bought a package deal through travel2ultra and they gave me this place. Let's just say that your average jail cell has better hygiene and tidyness than this place. The walls are thin and there is no air conditioning. Bugs in the bed and the mattress gives you back pain. The staff are nice and helpful and maybe that is the only plus side. This building either needs to be renovations or just need to be demolished plain and simple.
Fahim H — Google review
Simple, acceptable for a few days. Purity is not their strength. Breakfast was not healthy or varied to me. But I'm picky, I only eat light healthy food. It's good for a long weekend with little need.

Cornaro Hotel Split is a refined establishment located in the heart of Split's Old Town, just a short walk from Zlatna Vrata and Diocletian's Palace. The hotel seamlessly blends historical surroundings with modern amenities, offering high-speed internet access, allergy-free rooms, and a sun terrace with a Jacuzzi. Guests can enjoy wine-tasting sessions, bar services, and entertainment activities on-site. The pastel pink facade hides elegantly decorated rooms in calming neutral tones.
The Cornaro hotel was a lovely place to stay. The staff were all very helpful. We arrived by car, round the back but staff came out to carry our bags up the steps. Our room was lovely with a modern style. The location was fantastic being just outside Diocletian’s Palace walls. This meant it was easy to explore the area from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. We had the barbecue dinner on the rooftop one night, which has gorgeous views and the food was perfectly cooked.

This hotel is a haven of luxury in an unrivalled location in central Split. We stayed two nights and were sad to leave. Public areas and rooms spacious and very tastefully decorated with lots of amenities. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The views from the rooftop bar / plunge pool are beautiful, and we also had a delicious lunch and drinks up there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Excellent stay at the end of our two week Croatia trip. Perfect timing to relax in the rooftop wading pool and enjoy the beautiful views! The rooms were spacious and clean and the service was spot on. The daily breakfast buffet, which is included with the room, was beautifully presented and provided a wide variety of fresh food options.

We recently stayed at this property after finishing a sailing trip from Split and tremendously enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and the were furnished with a modern touch. The rooftop patio and pool were a welcome oasis after spending 5 days on a boat and so was the great gym and spa in the basement. The breakfast Buffett was also one of the most elaborate spreads we have ever encountered in a hotel. It was amazing all around.
Gabrielle S — Google review
Stayed at the Cornaro for 3 nights and had a fabulous experience. The property itself is a little old and the layout is odd (not bad just there are two reception areas) but the room we had was a really generous size and the bed was super comfy. The highlight was the staff, every single person was friendly and proactive. I’d put them right at the top of the tree for service and I say that as against any 5star property we’ve stayed at, anywhere in the world. The other great thing about the property is its location, an easy walk to the water with restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. Probably the best location in Split. Can recommend the Cornaro!
Matt L — Google review
When you enter Diocletian’s palace, you pass into a zone where time and space are compressed. Ancient times are so close you can step into them, and every square meter is more full of life and lives than any other outside the city walls. What better than a spa day as you prepare to depart that condensated zone? My wife and I enjoyed a private sauna, jacuzzi and relaxation massage nestled in this hotel, courtesy the expert masseuses Tea and Mia. We walked out feeling re-energized, relaxed, and refreshed. A wonderful way to end our stay in Split! Thank you Tea and Mia; your hands are magic.

Loved this hotel! Awesome location, rooms luxurious, comfy beds, big bathrooms. Rooftop terrace and splash pool a bonus. Drinks a bit pricey but paying for the view. Breakfast was scrumptious with huge amount of food options among best have seen across all Europe. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location and amazing staff. The best thing about this hotel for us was their outstanding breakfast! There were so many choices and we've learnt new thing: the locals sometimes have a shot of fruity liqueur with their breakfast. Location is very convenient, short walk to all the attractions which was great for us to take photos early in the morning without the crowd. One constructive feedback though is that the sound proof could have been better. From our room near the lifts we could hear people talking clearly and I guess they could hear us talking too.

Hotel 1 mile walk to dalmatian palace and Riva. There's graffiti on the wall that signifies the local football club. There's a supermarket across the street as well Breakfast was good. Depending on an individuals diet, the scrambled eggs have a strange taste. Best to stick to hard boiled eggs. Wide selection of food too. There's a pool with 2 saunas, one is dry and the other is a Turkish bath. Beds are comfortable especially after exploring the town.

Came here with siblings from the UK. Positives: staff were friendly and happy to help Swimming pool and sauna are easily accessible Breakfast buffet had a good range of options (but would recommend going at 7:30 since the food gets cold by 8- they don’t heat the trays) Negatives: Bed sheets had stains on them. Room was requested to be cleaned but sheets were not changed. Air conditioning did not work. Weird damp smell in the room. These comments may seem harsh but it’s important to remember this hotel is advertised as 5 stars and therefore it left us very disappointed with our experience.

Amazing customer service! Let me start by saying that we had a terrible experience at another hotel down the street and came to Atrium without a reservation. The gentleman at the front desk was so polite and genuine, and they happened to have a room available for us. The check in process was smooth, positive and quick. Amazing customer service! We were just looking for the place to stay overnight but the hotel is so nice and clean, the rooms are amazing, modern and very spacious! They have a parking, breakfast and a wellness center with fitness and spa facilities. Highly recommend!

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast buffet was lovely with lots of choice, staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us but it did take them over 24 hours to fix a curtain that was down on checking into the room. We made use of the pool, spa and gym which were a little basic but did the job. We didn’t even mind the walk to the old town. The reason I’ve only given one star is that on our last morning we were part way through packing and left our bags on the side in our room with cash in for a short time, while going for breakfast expecting they would be fine as no one was needed or expected in our room for at least another 2 hours (check out time) and all euros and pounds sterling had been taken from 3 different locations when we returned.
Carlie L — Google review
Comfy room with amenities. Excellent breakfast buffet. The reception lady was kind to offer free parking. Good wellness spa. A little bit shallow swimming pool. Finnish sauna with water is above and beyond.

I am giving this hotel a 3-star review. One star for the quick check-in. The second star is for the decent restaurant on the property, which had the best chocolate mousse. The third star goes to the young man who attempted to rectify my problem at 2 AM, although it didn't fully resolve the issue. I do not post negative reviews on establishments that I know I will never return to, so I will keep the negative comments to myself. Edit... Went back to the restaurant for lunch and the service was awful this time. The ladybjust said they don't have to check on you after they give you your food not even to bring you your check to pay. She said I should have came to her to pay :(

This is a good option for stay in Split. Firstly, the staff are excellent and both welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned (physical keys, old decor) but nothing to complain about. The location is a 10 minute walk from the buzzy centre which can be a positive or negative depending on what you want. They have good parking at hotel. Breakfast is standard/good.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days and overall, it was a good experience for the price. The room wasn't perfect, but it was clean and comfortable enough. Great rooms, close proximity to the nice Bacvice beach, at least in pre-season a location with a chill vibe. Great furniture and art collection on site with iconic billboards by Boris Bućan. Some staff members were too reserved for our taste, others made up for that. Special thanks to Marsela for the helpful tips on activities and places to visit with our little daughter. And many thanks for the cute easter surprise she brought for her! Downer: it wasn't obvious that the rooftop pool is not heated and still closed in April. And that the Whirlpool image we had seen was not showing the spa area but the suite :-(

Disappointing Service Despite a Lovely Room! I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. The room itself is lovely — very clean, comfortable, and with a great view. Housekeeping have also been great throughout our stay — polite, helpful, and doing their job well without issue. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the rest of the staff, which has really let the experience down. From the moment we arrived, the overall attitude from the front desk and bar staff has been cold and unwelcoming. Not once have we been greeted with a simple hello when walking in — which, over several days, says a lot. Any time we’ve asked for anything, we’ve been made to feel like we’re putting them out. It’s as though unless you’re sitting with a laptop in front of you for business purposes, you’re not worth acknowledging. We understand this is primarily a business hotel, but that doesn’t mean non-business guests should be ignored or treated with indifference. There’s a complete lack of basic hospitality here. The drinks have been another major disappointment. The first coffee I ordered was borderline undrinkable — no flavour whatsoever. I gave it another try on a different day and was handed a cold coffee that was basically just milk (see attached photo). When I politely asked to leave it at reception for a moment so I could grab something from the car, the receptionist was unnecessarily rude, again reinforcing the overall unwelcoming tone of the hotel. Room service is another point of frustration. Charging £8 just to bring anything to the room — even though staff are clearly using the lifts all day — feels unreasonable and opportunistic, rather than part of a genuine service offering. There was an event during our stay where the hotel manager was present, and the change in atmosphere was instantly noticeable. Staff were suddenly attentive, polite, and drinks were brought up without issue. It’s obvious the manager expects high standards, and when he’s around, things run well. The issue is what happens when he’s not: the staff seem uninterested, unfriendly, and disengaged — as if doing the bare minimum until he returns. We still have a few days left of our stay, and we’re now actively avoiding interacting with staff where possible, which is not how you want to feel on a trip. It’s a real shame, because the hotel itself has potential, but the guest experience is being ruined by inconsistent service and a lack of basic hospitality.

Stayed for two nice. Staff were nice and very helpful. Enjoyed our stay there. It is located around a 10-15 minute walk to the busy old city. Pool has a very nice view, but is small and seating is quite limited. The gym is very small.

During our stay at the hotel, we had the pleasure of being cared for each morning by Mara in the breakfast area. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a meaningful difference in our experience. Mara went above and beyond to ensure our family and especially our 2 year old daughter felt welcomed and well looked after - always greeting us with a kind smile and anticipating our needs with grace and professionalism. It’s rare to encounter someone who brings both heart and excellence to their work the way Mara does. Her care turned a simple breakfast into a comforting and memorable part of our day. We are truly grateful for the kindness and dedication she showed us throughout our stay. With warm regards

For the price of this hotel, the experience left much to be desired. Given this is one of the more expensive hotels in Split, expected much more hospitality. For example; staff were cold, on check-in very little information provided (no WiFi password), ac was centrally controlled (have to ring reception but they don’t mention this on check in), breakfast was average (no change and I stayed 3 days), pool was tiny (no towels there, cushions on the loungers, ability to order drinks etc). The room was spacious and clean but everything else lacked that made this a very unmemorable stay and wouldn’t return.

I would describe this hotel as fine(4-ish stars) excluding my issue, but our room does not have a standing shower. We are staying here 4 nights and have to get into the tub and lay down to rinse off. You can extend the shower head but I’m a tall man and it cannot extend past my belly button, nor is there anything to hang the shower head on while you use soap or shampoo. I haven’t experienced another hotel anywhere that has a full bath but no standing shower option. I believe my room seems to be unique in this as pictures of the showers in other reviews are different. There are a few examples similar to this in the hotel that feel luxurious or design focused, but at the cost of the basics. I'll say most of the other examples are fairly small though. I spoke with the staff about it and they made it seem like it was totally normal to not have a standing shower. It’s 90 degrees here this week and I’m showering twice a day like this. If this hotel were cheap I would take it as a learning experience, but it's on the pricier side for this part of europe during the summer and for this reason I couldn’t suggest this hotel.

Incredible experience in the Briig Hotel. You get what you pay for. Friendly staff, nice food, bar, near the old town of Split also not so far of the ring road and quitte rooms what makes it the perfect location. Underground parking is unfortunately not included in the price of the room. You have to pay 25 EUR extra a day. Please include this in the price of the room just as principe.

I had a really nice stay during visit My friend in hospital, great location and its just a few mins walk to hospital. Hotel was nice and very clean. All staffs were very helpful and friendly through out the hotel from reception, F&B, HK, and Chef just made my meal as requested! 5 Star services. Recommened ! Unfortunately did not see much of the town due to circumstances!

Due to a medical emergency that required a (nearby) hospital visit, I missed my flight home. I needed a room (desperately) and ended up here: luckily, there was still one room left, that I took. The staff spoke practically fluent English, was understanding and helpful. The rooms were well equiped and very clean. There was proper airconditioning and the isolation was good: I had a good, recovering night of sleep and could make it to a flight the next day. Great experience!

perfect location!! Close to an amazing beach. The staff was really wonderful. I got sick and they let us do late check out for free and brought us hot tea all the time. Really welcoming atmosphere, great breakfast and really comfy lobby!!!

Sure, here’s a review you can use: ⸻ I wouldn’t want to come back here mainly because of the service. Some of the staff, especially a few of the cleaners, were really rude and unprofessional. It felt like guests were more of an inconvenience than anything else. It’s a shame because the place itself could’ve been nice, but the attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience.

Just spent a week in this wonderful hotel, where breakfast and service was fantastic, staff cannot do enough to make our holiday so enjoyable. I would highly recommend, with beach 10 minutes away and town centre 25 minutes by walking and 10 minutes by bus. Special mention to Petra, Ivana on reception desk and Elena and all breakfast staff. Elena greeted you with a smile and ensured that everything run smoothly. If I decide to go back to Split then I would choose this hotel without a doubt. Well done everybody and keep up the great work!

Great hotel, rooms quite large and modern, really enjoyed our stay. Yes, the hotel is a little out of old town, but it's a really easy walk 20-25 minutes, but we got Uber most days for a couple of euros. We found a couple of really nice restaurants in the area serving authentic food for a reasonable price, much better than the tourist trap restaurants in the old town. Would recommend Hotel Ora, especially as a base when travelling around Split and the surrounding areas. Didn't use the free parking this time as I didn't hire a car, but it's a great advantage if you are travelling by car.

Outstanding hotel - a great place for both business trip and summer holidays. Breakfast is very versatile and delicious. Ideal location and garage included. Rooms are spacious. Great and welcoming staff. For business its great as Poljička cesta is home to many businesses and KBC Split. For holiday-making it may also be great as Trstenik beach is 10 minutes walk, whilst for farther travel - the city exits and ferry port to most islands is nearby.

Hotel Ora We stayed at this hotel in August 2018 in room 209. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes by bus from Split City. The room size was spacious. Bed was comfortable. There is no balcony in the room. The bathroom was good and spacious but no bath tub. Breakfast was fresh and there was a good variety. The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, however, this beach does not have sand, only pebbles. There is a very basic gym. The service was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. 6 out of 10.

I stayed at the hotel while attending a training in Split, so the distance to the city centre, the location itself and the view weren’t very important to me. What mattered most was the breakfast – and it was excellent: rich, varied, and very satisfying. The water pressure in the shower was also great, which added to the overall comfort. Free parking was another nice bonus. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

Everything was great at this hotel, staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were clean and overall pretty good. Only reason for the 4 stars is for the location, which you need to take an uber every time you want to go to the main part of the city. Had a pretty good heated swimming pool and spa facilities

Great Experience!! We had a such amazing experience at this Hotel. Me and my other two Friends stayed in there for few days due to Ultra Europe 2024. Great location and services. We would like to highlight one of your BEST employees, who called Branco, he was just a great person and always showing his passion, empathy, friendly smile and attention to us. He was always with that smile on his face and trying to reaching if we need something. We just love him the way that he was always very friendly and good vibes. 10/10 for this amazing person Branco

Pros: Relatively new hotel, clean, quiet, excellent food, service and cleanliness, large and free parking, I did not test the spa services (swimming pool, sauna, gym), large supermarket nearby Cons: 1.8 km from old town, 25 min on foot, quite isolated, uninteresting view Conclusions: I think that this hotel main focus are group tours, good if you are with a rental car as a base to explore central Dalmatia and not only, as we did, very good price-quality ratio.

There are no pedestrian friendly spots that are near enough to walk to

Nice hotel nice location. But if you have any disability it’s a nightmare! I am partially disabled and asked for a walk in shower when I booked. No such thing! I was given a room with a shower box and a one foot step to get in! Even if I could have got up the step I could never have gotten in the box. When reception was approached for a disabled room I was told that the room I had was it! Very low toilet. If that’s their disabled room I’d hate to know how anyone in a wheelchair’s would get on. Impossible.

Stayed there in late February 2023. While their were few guests in the hotel in the off season, the service - from the front desk, kitchen, and other hotel staff was excellent. We were greeted cheerfully every day, and asked what they could do. The front desk printed by boarding pass; the kitchen staff cooked to-order omelets, and in general they did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Wi-fi was fast, shower was excellent, room cleaning great - provided robe was very nice. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is really not good enough to be a 4-star hotel. The staff, breakfast and other services are good but the hotel is just dated and badly needs a renovation. Broken shower head, sinks not draining properly and poor wifi. I’m not going to a 4-star hotel expecting to hold the shower head because it won’t go in the fitting. I would avoid or look into a 3-star for cheaper.

We were fortunately transferred to this hotel from Split In by President. We were very happy with the stay. The room was very very clean and friendly. The facilities in the room itself and in the bathroom were good. What you want to define as excellently - is the staff. Here we were always warmly welcomed and advised. Our breakfast thanking the waiter Nikola was an excellent start to the day. Our dauther has loved her pancakes.

Tidy room, but furnishings are old and tired. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Location within 10 minutes walking down to the promenade. We had an interior courtyard facing room and it was very quiet and relaxing with the window open at night. Breakfast was typical euro-style continental and met our needs. They do have a parking garage but its pretty tight...maybe 12 cars tops would fit.
Zac C — Google review
Cleanliness was quite bad, with bathrooms being especially unclean (faucets, toilet and bidet had not been cleaned for a while) and glass/handrails being quite dirty. Ordered room service, but they were quite rude and abrasive throughout ordering and they made it quite clear that I was being a burden to them by ordering the room service. My ordered room service meal was also not what I ordered and the quality of the food was substandard (very oily and bland). Breakfast was not horrible, but the choice range was limited and it left me feeling slightly unsatisfied. Despite this, there were a few staff who were incredibly friendly and gave me very good service. Overall, I would not expect this kind of bad service from a 4 star hotel. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

The area provides a peaceful escape from the bustling city and boasts beautiful viewpoints, ruins, and small churches to explore.

Marjan Park is a true gem for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape, often referred to as the "lungs of the city," this area offers a serene retreat from the bustling city center. The beaches around Marjan Hill, such as Kašjuni Beach and Bene Beach, are less crowded compared to other popular spots in Split. The secluded coves offer a peaceful environment where the sounds of cicadas can lull you into a state of relaxation better than any lullaby. One of the best ways to enjoy Marjan Beach is by setting up a hammock between the trees, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty. For those who prefer a more active holiday, the park is perfect for jogging, cycling, and hiking, especially in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler.

Split Old Town Suites offers a charming stay in quaint studios and an apartment, all equipped with kitchenettes, located near Diocletian's Palace. The old town area is described as very beautiful, with various dining options at normal prices. While the hospitality of the locals could be improved, the hosts are praised for their friendliness and welcoming decor of the modern rooms. The central location is highlighted as convenient, although some guests found the building's lack of a lift and numerous stairs challenging.
Fantastic location with updated decor and fixtures. The owner is always available by phone and can be flexible on check in and check out time. Highly recommended!

Good location and a nice little apartment once you get there. The building needs a lift. Far too many stairs. Don't book this unless you are reasonably fit. I was knackered by the time I carried the cases up. That said, it is in a fantastic location and has everything you need for a short stay.

Design Hostel Goli&Bosi is a contemporary hostel located in Morpurgova Poljana 2, close to various restaurants, retail stores, and tourist attractions like Diocletian Palace and Bacvice Bay. The hostel offers private rooms and budget-friendly dormitories with shared bathrooms. Situated in a converted 19th-century warehouse near the harbor and Riva promenade, the accommodation options include dorms, suites, and ship cabin-style spaces with air conditioning.
I stayed in this hostel for 7 nights in July. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My room was ready upon arrival and clean. Other people in my room were also lovely and respectful. Staff were always happy to help and gave great recommendations about things to do in the area. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to everyone looking for somewhere affordable yet accessible in Split. Great location also

My stay was great. During my stay, two workers which I found out to be volunteers, their names Lily and Sophie, we’re especially kind to me. From the moment I walked in to the hostel to the moment I got to my room I had been debriefed on the rules of the hostel, the main attractions in Split, who my roommates where, and what to do if I need help (all of which was done with grandiose haste). Furthermore, I woke up one night to a bit of noise outside the door and I heard the voices of these same volunteers actively putting an end to this noise within 30 seconds. The rooms were clean and at a perfect temperature. If you come here and encounter the same volunteers, please let them know I said Hi.

All Staff, especially the owner and the manager, were extremely accommodating and friendly, always checking up on us, making sure we didn’t have any issues. Location is perfect. Rooms were clean and had no issues with toilet/shower. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at.
Sam Y — Google review
The pros: extremely central location, close to the marina and all the other attractions. For me it was also a plus that the hostel is situated next to an organic food store. Cons: the hostel looks odd. There is an escalator for the first floor that is broken and it all seemed to be under construction/unfinished although it didn't look particularly new/renovated. The dorm room itself was tiny and not clean. The floor was full of hair, which made it obvious that it hadn't been cleaned in quite a long time. The vent of the air-conditioning on the ceiling kept losing chunks of dust and grime that would fall on the ground. I was assigned a top bunk bed and it wasn't easy to climb the "ladder": two slippery slits in the wall, way too far apart from each other. Very dangerous to use especially when you're still drowsy from waking up. The chances of falling to the ground and breaking some bones is extremely high. The trash can was basically a broken Ikea box without a trash bag and it was full to the brim when I arrived there. Considering the fact that most travelers stayed for 1-2 nights it was impossible that they produced so much trash. That seemed more to be the product of neglect of the cleaning staff (who also forgot to take out dirty towels, recharge the toilet paper dispenser and clean the toilet). Also the door to the hostel was always open, which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that there was no one at the reception the 2 nights I stayed there and came back late.
Nini — Google review
The hostel was felt spacious despite the compact way of arranging the beds. The location is simply excellent and the staff is very friendly. Everything was clean. There is no real common room or kitchen. The gathering space is a bit meh. The biggest drawback for me was the way the shower, sink and toilet were arranged and executed. While the shower had a generous size for a hostel, there was nowhere to hang my clothing. The sink was in the room, but I had to lean into a nook to be able to use it. The restaurant downstairs might be a bit pricey for an average hostel client.
Jānis C — Google review
Staff was very accommodating. Check in and Check out was very easy and I had a really pleasant stay. Location was perfect! Right in the center and with easy access to everything, Restaurants, Tourist attractions, Ferry, Bus station, and car rentals locations. Place was clean with ample locker space for backpacks (but not really big enough for a large trolley bag). Would stay again! However, Breakfast wasn't included. the restaurant had a good breakfast though but it cost extra. Parking is also a bit of an issue, as you have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the free parking.
Ab V — Google review
Big hostel in split. Very good location. Food and drinks are good, cozy atmosphere outside but we were told off for playing cards outside, which seems werid for a hostel!? Upstairs doesn't really seem finished. Dorms are okay. Beds are good. Toilet, sink and shower in different areas but I guess that's so nobody occupies everything at once. Good hostel but NOT worth the price! Find one of the many apartment/rooms in town instead.
Josefine F — Google review
Not even 1/5! This place is far away from what’s advertised. No public areas as shown on the pictures. Drunk people in the room who weren’t even guests. Had an awful stay. Hotel Vestibul Palace is a luxurious boutique hotel located in the heart of Split, Croatia, within the Diocletian's Palace. The hotel is a fusion of three palaces from different historical periods - Romanic, Gothic, and Renaissance - with elements dating back to the 3rd century. Once the central apartment of Roman Emperor Diocletian, it now seamlessly combines modern amenities with ancient charm.
A Seamless Stay in the Heart of Split We had a wonderful (albeit short) two-night stay at Hotel Vestibul Palace. The service from Ivan and the entire team was truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. While the hotel can be a bit tricky to navigate due to its location within the historic center, the staff made it completely stress-free. They guided us step-by-step, including helping with luggage from the parking lot directly to our room — a level of service we deeply appreciated. The facilities were clean, thoughtfully designed, and elevated in every way — a perfect blend of modern comfort and old-town charm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Vestibul to anyone visiting Split!
Chelsea M — Google review
I cant say enough great things about this hotel staff. Steven (sp?) and Ivan in particular were so wonderful. We had some issues with our booking (our fault not the hotel's) and Steven went out of his way to support us offering professional and personal insights. He also checked on us to make sure everything went well. Ivan also went above and beyond to provide solutions and support and personalized service. Also both men were so nice and funny and knowledgeable. Very interesting and intelligent gentleman. Had a great time chatting with them. The hotel itself is lovely and worth the extra effort to access. However because of its location inside the palace walls be sure to coordinate your arrival and departure with the staff. I'm sure, they will extend you the same VIP treatment extended us.
Karma D — Google review
An unbeatable location right next to the Vestibul made this stay truly special. The staff were outstanding across the board, with a particular mention to Moreno for his engaging conversation and superb service, and to Ivan for his calm, thoughtful, and well-organised guidance. The breakfast was phenomenal, and the room was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation.

Had the best 4 night stay here. The service was exceptional. Steven and Ivan helped ensure I had the best time in Split. From anticipating my arrival (and helping me with my luggage), assisting me with booking a private boat tour, dinner reservations, and more, they delivered top notch service. I felt so comfortable and welcomed. Location can’t be beat next to the vestibule. The main hotel is beautiful and room was very comfortable. I spent two of the four nights in the Villa. I liked the more quiet location, but felt like the room quality was not the same as the main hotel. The price difference properly reflected this, so I thought it was fair. Highly recommend Hotel Vestibul Palace for your visit to Split!

My husband and I loved the hotel but more than the charm and the perfect location of this boutique hotel, we were so impressed with the top notch service we received while we were there. Before arrival, they reached out to us to meet us when we get there since it is hard to find the exact location especially since there are two separate hotels within a short distance of each other. Ivan met us the first night and guide us to the hotel and made suggestions for dinner. The next day he reached out again to see how we are doing and I relayed to him that my husband hurt his knee by the beach. He came over immediately with a first aid kit and he called the airport for us to arrange for wheel chair for our return and see if we can leave a day early. He was so kind to us and brought chocolate to cheer my husband and arranged for a private car to take us to the airport the next day and for someone to meet us at 4 am to help us with our luggage. Thank you so much Ivan for all your care. We are back home safe and sound and my husband is doing better. We also loved the breakfasts and all the staff there who were so sweet. We highly recommend this hotel for its unique location but mostly for the attention and care they provide to all their guests.

I have visited Split with my partner last month. We had chosen this Hotel mostly for its siting, but we enjoyed our permanence thoroughly. The staff was kind and they even came to lead us to the Hotel personally. Whilst we did not have lunch, or dinner there, we tried the breakfast. The menu was detailed and it provided a lot of options to pick from. The room was overall clean.

There are two distinct locations for this property the main and the “annex” or “villa”. They are very different experiences. The main is what you would expect from a Hilton related property, luxurious. The annex is about 2-5 minutes (depending on your familiarity with Split) and is more like a dorm or Air b&b. We were assigned to the annex and didn’t care for it. Steven, the manager, was great and was able to come up with a mutually acceptable solution. Really appreciated that! The service throughout the stay was excellent! Really treated us like VIPs. The breakfast was awesome and was a highlight. Location could not be beat. Easy access to everything in old town Split. An amazing and memorable experience!

Gravitas Hostel offers a budget-friendly and cozy accommodation option for travelers. The hostel features simple dorms with bright furnishings and convenient amenities such as WiFi, a refrigerator, and a kettle. Guests have access to communal bathrooms stocked with essentials. The common lounge is perfect for socializing, while the owner creates a welcoming atmosphere. Although there's no kitchen, basic cooking facilities like a microwave and grill toaster are available. The location is convenient, close to shops and within walking distance of the waterfront.
I had a fantastic stay at Gravitas Hostel! The place is very well kept, with great cleaning service every day and excellent showers that make it super comfortable. They even have straws available, which was a nice little touch. Boris, the owner, really made the experience memorable. He was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond during my stay he even helped me out when I had a cut, which I really appreciated. On top of that, he’s got an amazing story: he was actually on Game of Thrones! Overall, Gravitas Hostel is a clean, welcoming place with great facilities and an owner who genuinely cares about his guests. I highly recommend staying here.

Clean hostel, quite small but makes it really easy to meet people. The staff are super nice and it’s well kept. Not a lot of photos of what the rooms look like now so included one. You get a small towel and a big locker that comes with a key to put your belongings in. The bathroom is small but manageable. A bit pricey for the fact you’re in a massive dorm. Great location and they also have free coffee/small bits for breakfast.

This hostel exceeded my expectations! As a 32 year old solo traveller I was hesitant to stay in a 20 dorm room but this was better and quieter than some of the 4 and 6 dorm rooms I’ve stayed in. The owner, Boris is super nice and incredibly helpful. He gave me some great pointers for local spots to visit. The rest of the team were also really lovely. Location was also perfect, really close to everything. Will be staying here next time I visit Split, Croatia!

Amazing stay at this hostel, super clean and really comfortable beds, very practical with privacy curtains, changing room, social area and kitchenette. I had the best nights sleep! Boris is a legend and super helpful, I made so many good friends here! Will be returning

AMAAZIIING!! Very chilled vibe! Boris (the owner) is amazing, all of the staff are! Boris and the ladies that work there, are all very friendly and make you feel welcomed. It was my first time staying in a hostel so I was very anxious but as soon as I stepped through the door we were greeted, then I felt very calm. Amazing stay and I would definitely return, they provide towels, free tea/coffee! Comfy beds! And the hostel was always very clean! The place is situated near loads of shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, the sea front !! They have separate bathrooms for men/women so I made friends in the girls bathrooms, also in the main room as you walk in; everyone staying there would talk to one another, it felt more like a communal experience which was incredible. I’d go to the local shop and bump into someone from the hostel! 100/5*!!!

It was the cleanest, kindest, and most comfortable hostel I've ever been to! If I have another split trip, I will definitely book in this hostel!! I'm in Dubrovnik now, and I miss the Gravitas hostel so much.. TT Thank you so much for your wonderful hostel Boris! - South Korea friend LEE -

Great place to stay in Split, Croatia. The hostel’s location makes many hotspots in the city, a short walk. Boris is very nice and his knowledge in the area, for food and activities, are great. Daria is also pretty cool from the short conversation I had with her. The common area makes it very easy to meet other travelers in the hostel. Beds are also very comfortable with privacy curtains. WiFi is pretty good for remote work. The hostel also offers laundry for a reasonable price.

Very clean room, large, modern better than I could have expected. Very comfortable bed. Congratulations Keep it up! Oh! I forgot, very friendly and helpful staff!

If you value sleep this is not the hotel for you. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything all night. If you do find yourself in this hotel and you do indeed value sleep, avoid room 7 - it is practically in reception / the kitchen …you hear all breakfast preparation from about 5AM. Sorry, but the primary purpose of a hotel is sleep and this one fails on that count. Aside from that, it looks like an office block (it is two floors of an actual office block…) and breakfast is fine, but limited. The view IS good though. Overall, I’m not coming back as I was shattered for the whole next day due to very little sleep…Oh, the reception staff are really kind…
Keith B — Google review
Room is very clean and updated. AC works really well which is one of the most important components for any hotel I get. Beds are comfortable enough and do the job. Our TV was super high above the bed which was silly but it’s fine - positive about the TV is it’s satellite so there’s so many channels, you’re bound to find an English Channel you like. Location is great. You don’t need to stay in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace. This is a 3 minute walk to city center, 4 minute walk to closest beach, and 4 minute walk to the port. It’s so easy and had really great views too. We didn’t do the breakfast option.
Sam K — Google review
Ok, fast facts you need to know. 10 minute easy walk to the center of the castle in old town Split. 10 minutes to the bus station and port. 10th floor unobstructed view of the entire bay. The room: 1 bedroom with full bath. Living area with large pull out sofa and another full bath. Modern, clean and everything worked. Secure and safe. Breakfast vouchers included for lobby Cafe. I've stayed in many places, and everything here was too notch. The front desk is open 7am to 10pm, so make arrangements if you will be later. We had a bird fly into the room overnight. It got caught in the curtains. The clerk was able to wrap him up in sweatshirt and get him out, and the bird deficated on my sweatshirt. Without me even asking they took my sweatshirt and returned it clean later in the day. Amazing service, clean and modern accommodations. I Highly recommend.

Absolute horrible experience with this hotel. I left my watch in the room and I remember exactly where I left it after an hour after checkout I called them to ask to keep it and they said it wasn’t there. Absolute liars.
Caroline N — Google review
Very good. Stayed two nights here. Nice, modern, clean rooms. The view of the harbour is nice (got it at breakfast only, as our room faced the other directions). Good breakfast with a lot to chose from. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the heart of Split. Friendly and helpul staff. We ate at several restaurants close by (good selection). The hotel is only floors 8 and 10 in the building. When we arrived we went to floor 10, but it was locked. We missed the sign in the lobby that said that the lobby is on floor 8. After we called them it was all sorted out.
Henrik — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. First and foremost, the breakfast was severely lacking in variety and nutritional balance. It was predominantly composed of high-sugar items, which made for a poor start to the day. The pastry options were particularly disappointing as they were stale and clearly not fresh. There were hardly any protein options, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and hungry shortly after. Additionally, the building itself is poorly constructed. The walls are paper-thin, and you can hear every noise from adjacent rooms and the hallway. This lack of soundproofing made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, as I was constantly disturbed by other guests' conversations and movements. To make matters worse, the cleaning staff began their cleaning very early, between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. quite weird to clean occupied rooms strictly meanwhile person is on breakfast. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
Tomáš Š — Google review
My expectations were modest to begin with however when I saw the beautiful room and amazing bathroom I was simply impressed. The room is a good size, modern, and nicely decorated and the view is just wow! The bathroom is modern and luxurious and I loved the waterfall shower. Bed linen and towels are changed daily and there is tea and coffee making equipment available as well as a safe and a television with loads of channels.

If you're looking for a dog-friendly accommodation in Split with an amazing environment, look no further than A&M Apartment And Rooms! Offering free car rental, the venue is located just 5 minutes drive from the city centre.
The room is located close to the historical center of split (2min walk) Angelo is the best. Really helping and accommodating. He knows everything to make your stay better (beach, bus etc.) and he is really available. The rooms are simple but clean and with air conditioning. I recommend this place.
Loïc ( — Google review
We stayed at A&M Apartment & Rooms for two nights and found it to be in one of the better locations in downtown Split. Once we arrived, we didn’t need to use our car at all, as everything was within easy walking distance. The property is conveniently located right in front of a public car park, which charges about €1.50 per hour. There are also a few free parking spots marked in white nearby, although they can be limited. Our host, Angelo, was fantastic, he’s friendly, helpful, and incredibly responsive via WhatsApp. I highly recommend adding him on WhatsApp before your arrival. He answered all our questions promptly and made our stay much smoother. Our unit had a washing machine, which came in handy during our trip. We noticed another unit had a full kitchen, which would be great for guests planning to cook their own meals. A&M is a casual, budget-friendly accommodation, so while it’s generally comfortable, don’t expect luxury or top-tier amenities. One small issue we encountered was with the iron A&M provided, it had burnt marks on the plate, and unfortunately, it left a mark on one of our shirts. We informed Angelo, and to his credit, he bought a brand-new iron the very same day, which will definitely be appreciated by future guests. We stayed in Room 7, which is located on the top floor. During our stay, the building was undergoing renovations, so there was some construction noise including the roof top starting around 9am, with workers moving materials not just outside our room, but outside the window, staircase & hallway of the building. Overall, A&M Apartment & Rooms offers fair value for money, with decent facilities and a great location. The bed in our unit was very soft, perhaps a little too soft, as it felt like we were sinking in (we are not big heavy people). We hope the host might consider upgrading it for better comfort in the future.

I stayed at this apartment from June 19 to June 27, 2025, and had an amazing experience! The place was super clean, the location was absolutely perfect, and the owner was incredibly friendly—honestly, one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever met. He was always available, extremely helpful, and really solution-oriented. Our fridge broke down during our stay, and he immediately bought and installed a brand new one for us. Truly outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Great location with parking very close and also entering the old town within minutes. Rooms are on upper levels (reached by stairs) so travelling light helps :). Rooms are spacious and renovated nicely. Host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in a pancake bar closeby.

Angelo super helpful host. I'd say the friendliest guy that I had met in Croatia. Apartment was very basic with a balcony and that was good for 3 days of my stay there. Located near to city center - 5min walk to everything. There is only one thing that could get improved is the shower facilities.

Stayed here for a week in May 2017. What an excellent choice we made. Rooms were great for a city break. Clean with everything you could need. Our host, Angelo was most accommodating, offering us lots of advice and recommendations of things to see and do. Will definitely be revisiting Split and staying here again.

Solar Beach Inn in Split is a charming 3-star bed & breakfast with 16 rooms offering garden views. It's conveniently located near attractions like Split City Museum and Old Split, as well as being close to Ancient Salona. Guests appreciate the modern and well-equipped rooms, although some mention that the bathrooms are on the smaller side. The staff is known for being welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for local activities and dining options. Additionally, free parking adds to the convenience of staying here.
This place is unreal! I have nothing but good things to say. The view is amazing, a lot of sun in the apartments. Easy check in Good breakfast where you can order the coffee, egg and sausages the way you want it and buffet is quickly fulfilled

Pros The location is convenient if you are renting a car, as it is approximately 20 minutes from Split. The hotel offers a small parking space, though I am not sure whether reservations can be made in advance. Nice views during sunrise The breakfast is satisfactory, however the variety of options is somewhat limited. All employees were friendly. Cons The bathroom lacks a door for the bath, leading to water spilling onto the floor, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the bathroom is relatively small, making it feel a bit cramped. Cleaning service was minimal, as the cleaner only removed the trash and provided fresh towels, but no other cleaning was performed (eg hoover).
Georgia E — Google review
Pros: *Great location with a view; 20 minutes from Split, and a wonderful ocean view. We were able to get coffee from the cafe across the street in the morning before we left for the day, on the back deck with a lovely view. *This was one of our only accommodations with an AC unit, and it was much needed even in April. *The room was clean, and we had a great time sitting on the balcony overlooking the water. Cons: *Our bathroom door was see-through, and the bathroom itself was very small. My friend and I had to be very careful showering as to not flash eachother by mistake. *The card-insert light switch had to be positioned just right or the lights would go out after 15 seconds. *As of April 2025, there is significant road construction on the road this hotel is located. Due to this, driving in and parking at the hotel is a bit of a challenge. There is limited parking in the lot, I'd recommend checking in as soon as possible to guarantee a spot.
Nicholle F — Google review
This is a hotel located on the outskirts of Split, so to get to Split, you need to take the bus or have a car. The parking offered by the hotel is not actually part of the hotel; it consists of public street parking spaces. Since there are no parking meters on the hotel's street yet, there are plenty of spaces to leave your car overnight and in the early morning. Otherwise, you will have to park your car farther away in one of the permitted, paid spaces and then go retrieve it. For details about parking spaces and these specifics, speak with Mario. The young female attendants were very friendly but were not knowledgeable about these practical car-related issues. The breakfast deserves special mention, it is cool. The rooms are also noteworthy, except that there is no elevator, only stairs. This is a tourist hotel where prices likely vary greatly depending on the season. There is a beach right in front; you just need to go down the stairs. The area is home to many good and inexpensive restaurants and bars in Split, as it is away from the city center. All in all, it's a very interesting hotel located away from Split, so consider what you desire.
Claudio S — Google review
Great little caffe with amazing view and warm staff who really makes you feel welcome. Prices are also very affordable for this region - we paid below 8 euro for an espresso, ice coffee and 0,5 L beer.
Krešimir B — Google review
Nice small hotel, very far from the city's central area, but 2 minutes walk from the beach. The rooms are new and big but the shower is tiny, we could not really sit on the toilet seat because it was right next to the shower which blocked it. The breakfast was nice, they make you eggs if you ask from them, and the staff was kind and helpful. There's a lot of free public parking around, but it gets full very fast with locals parking there to go to the beach.
Omer M — Google review
Great place to stay. We stayed in one of the 2 apartments under the bar with the most exceptional view. Free parking was a huge bonus and was easy to get a space, but it was November so am thinking it might be a bit tight in the summer. Other guests have commented about tiny bathroom space but I can't concur. There was s bit of noise from the bar above but given the view and amenity it was small change. Stairs to apartment are definitely not wheel chair accessible but are not a problem otherwise. Local neighborhood is compact with some great cafes but not many affordable restaurants unless you are cashed up. We chose to catch the bus (number 25) from Stobrec central, a 5 minute walk from the hotel which only cost 2a euro's per punter into Split. Consierge supplied timetables and town maps which was a big help. Kitchen was pretty good but a bit frustrating for me as I was not used to an induction stovetop but Marko from the hotel came and showed me how to drive it. Sunset on the balcony was sublime! Would return happily.

Really nice family owned hotel placed right by the beach! (you can hear the waves rolling in from the room) Really great service alround - always a smile and extremely helpfull. Has a really nice pool and pool area. When the sight seeing was on hold, the only question after the good breakfast was, do we start at the pool or the beach. Definitely coming back, but bringing at car next time, as there is so much to see in Croatia / Dalmatia. Ark hotel has our warmest recommendations for a family holiday.

My wife and I just stayed at the Ark Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The room was cozy and kept very clean. The view was spectacular and the beach was great and water refreshing which is accessible from the hotel. A few steps down and you are there. The breakfast in the mornings were wonderful and very nutritious. The family that runs the hotel is incredible. I can't say enough great things about the service and care they take care of you. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and just take it all in.

We traveled as a big group to this hotel. The owner is the worst host I have ever encountered. He hovered around us at all points and would not leave us. He organized a buffet dinner that was overpriced and served 5 dishes in total for a price of €30 per person. He has no idea about how to run a hotel or guesthouse. The rooms are absolutely not worth €200 EUR. He doesn't have any staff other than his daughter and wife. The place is 40 min from Split and the only redeeming feature is the access to the beach from the stairs although there's no lights near the stairs or in the pool area

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful 😊 Great breakfast and sea views, which allowed a perfect start to each day! The local beach was accessible in moments. I wish I could have stayed longer.

This is a wonderful holiday apartment complex. The apartments are very comfortable with good beds, bathroom, living room with kitchen, airco and private terrace. Breakfast is included and served on the top floor with beautiful views of the sea and the surroundings. There is a large rooftop terrace. It is also a great place to sit and relax in the evening and have a drink. For a swim you can make use of the swimming pool where there are plenty of sunbeds and olive trees, or you can take the steps to the sea, that is right beneath the cliff. We came by car and the road that goes to Ark apartments is quite small in relation to the booming tourism along the coastline. The urban planning in Stobreč isn't that good... It is a great advantage that Ark apartments has its own private car park! The owner and his family are really friendly and helpful. They gave us some good advice and made a reservation for us in one of the best restaurants of Croatia. Our kids also had a great time here and they felt at home! We would recommend this place to everyone who is visiting the Split area.

We had booked a hotel for 2 adults and 2 kids on expedia, because that was one of the few hotels that accepted a family of 4 in their rooms. When we got there we were told that our 15 year old was considered an adult and they would not accomodate us in a room (eventhough we showed them expedia lets you book a kid until 17). Maria the daughter of the owner that seemed nice at the beginning and said she would help us, came with her best option that we had to book a 2nd room for almost 1000 usd extra for 4 nights and that it was forbidden for them to to have 4 in a room as they could close their hotel...not true as we found other hotels to accomodate our party of 4 right after.. We had to change hotel as no real help was offered and Maria told us specifically that no problem they would not charge us any night that again she was helping us. We booked another hotel and expedia called them to authorize full refund and her dad that was there also, told them that he would charge a full night as a penalty ($250 usd). This family hotel have no word, are not willing to help at all even with proof of all reservation and would rather loose the other 3 nights we had on a half empty hotel than do business. Hotel is far from split and has nothing close by. Would not recommend in general.

Nice place! Just far enough outside the city. I had a small maintenance issue which the owner handled very professionally within five minutes. Rooftop deck with dining tables and beautiful views. Someone else mentioned the breakfast is inadequate, and I agree. Also no lunches or dinners are served and yet one may not bring one’s own food or wine up to the rooftop deck! What a waste.

The Split Urban Rooms is a great option if you are looking for allergy friendly accommodation in Split. It features a storage room and safety deposit box, as well as allergy friendly rooms. The gargantuan Gregory of Nin Statue is 350 metres away while Stadion Poljud is 1.7 km from the property.
It's a economical hotel in a very good condition, it's very clean and safe. 24h English-speaking and friendly reception stuff. There is a big parking and very close a small grocery shop. A taxi and a bus stop as well as a bakery shop is not far away. To the periphery of the old town is just 5 minutes walk. Please note that the rooms at -1 don't have a view to the outside. I would recommend the hotel for a short stay in Split.

Well priced rooms with excellent location. The rooms are very tidy and clean. The lady at reception was super kind and welcoming, which we did not find in many other places during our visit of the area. In terms of facilities, the bed could be better, it creaked very loudly every time we changed posture during the night. Sound isolation is not great, you won't hear noise from outside the building but you'll definitely hear the late party goers come in at night chatting loudly on the way to their rooms. Other than that everything was as good as you could hope for given the price and great location.
Xavier H — Google review
(-) Tiny and dark rooms indoor (underground!) with bunker feeling, WIFI doesn't work and there is no mobile signal in the room. It feels like totally isolation from the world. The room was cleaned just one time during 6 days after we asked on the reception. The cleaning was made superficially. (+) Good location -> I don't recommend if you want to have a relaxing holiday.

The staff went out of their way to help us settle into Split. Knowing it would be hard to find, the receptionist met us at the taxi in the pouring rain and walked us through the streets to the hotel. We had a good two nights - the room was very clean and tidy. It was a little noisy outside but you're in city centre so location was fantastic. Only issue was air con stopped working due to a shortage, but overall a great place to stay

Good location in the heart of split. Apartment is not easy to find. Disadventages: problems with internet (Internet is not working), lack of hot water (especially in the evenings), and no reception desk. the coffee capsules were not replenished on a daily basis. If you wanted to housekeeping service in your room you were supposed to call one day in advance. The same with changing towels. Adventages: price, location, clean room.

Well located in the city center, confortable room, the included breakfast was top notch. The only negative point is that they don't have a luggage storage, so we had to pay for this service outside (6€ per bag).

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I accidentally booked the wrong month via booking dot com as the calendar resets every time you book a new place. I told Piano Nobile about the error and showed the rest of the trip itinerary to prove it was a genuine mistake. They told me to cancel and they would only refund what they could rebook. Completely fair, it was my mistake and for a 4 day trip I guessed they could book it our for maybe 2/3 days - it was the height of tourist season in Split after all. Tried to re-arrange the dates (for when I was actually travelling) but Piano Nobile rejected this and cancellation not an option on website They then just ignored all of my subsequent messages, despite twice offering to help me. The fact they then just ignored my messages and never got in touch shows what type of approach they really have to customer service. I have all the screenshot of messages but google won't let me upload Trip type

Stayed here with my gf for 2 nights. Excellent apart/hotel. Our room (#3) was nicely decorated and looked new and fresh. It opened in summer 2016. Friendly staff. Booked via a third party website for 145€ / 1090 kn / 210$CAD. Cash only / The credit card machine didn't work. Super location into the old city of Split. Lively neighborhood, many restaurants / bars / cafés / bakeries nearby. 5 minutes walk to the Split promenade & 10/15 minutes walk to the bus station. Free breakfast included in the rate, serve at a local restaurant nearby. Free wifi. Highly recommended ! 5/5 visited in October 2016

I could not check in and the owner did not understand the situation nor agree to refund the money. Very disappointing to see people acting this way.
Louis L — Google review
We had the 2 bedroom apartment (with the red sofa), which was perfect. Aircondition in both rooms and also in the living room worked separately and effective. Kitchen well equipped, we had everything we needed. The aparment was perfectly clean, including bathroom. There is a small terrace to the 3 bed room, with enough robes for hanging out wet towels. The apartment is in a quiet side road, but at the same time only a few steps from the very center of the old town. A very good and cheap pizzeria and also a grocery store next door! Ines, the owner was wery kind, also in the communication prior to booking, she answered all questions, and offered us the best suitable aparment. She even recommended programs, beaches to visit. Whenever we had special requests, her mom came immediately to the apartmant to help. I highly recommend Laura apartment for stay!

Great accommodation on the edge of the Old Town. We've stayed at one of Ines's places twice now, and would definitely book them again. Ines is the first call we make when booking in Split!

Stone Wall Apartments is a charming accommodation located in a prime spot, close to the old city and the sandy beach of Bacvice. The host is known for being extremely kind and helpful, ensuring that guests have a comfortable stay. The apartment itself is described as clean, tidy, and conveniently situated near the city center. Guests appreciate the cozy atmosphere and the efforts made by the owner to provide an enjoyable experience. Additionally, it's noted that parking may be challenging due to narrow streets in the area.
Owner is very helpful, sweet and nice person that made all possible to make our stay in her place just perfect. The apartment stays in a very charm and quiet part of the old town in a short walk distance from everything interested in Split. I will be back for sure. Hvala vam puno!

Our "stone wall apartment" was a rather small room outside the stone building. It was new and very clean, with free WiFi. Parking was in the street, about 200 m away. TV was the smallest as possible. The bathroom had no shampoo or body gel. Upon our request, we were given a small bottle of shower gel. The main advantage of the room is it's proximity to the old town, at walking distance - 3 minutes to the cathedral.

(Translated by Google) Not a bad place to spend the night, the owner is a nice woman who is always in touch, and can tell you the necessary information, a huge minus for me, because we traveled by car, it is parking to find a place in the narrow streets waiting for someone to leave, we were looking for a place 50 minutes, and then went to the room for another 8 minutes. But everything is clean, very clean, pleasant, well renovated and a pleasant owner (Original)

Luxury Rooms MA de Dominis is a top choice for travelers visiting Split. The host's exceptional hospitality and helpfulness, including assistance with parking and recommendations for local attractions, make the stay memorable. The location within the palace is convenient for exploring the area and enjoying the nearby beach. The elegantly designed rooms are equipped with modern amenities while maintaining some original features, creating a unique and comfortable atmosphere.
Ivana was incredible! She offered us a parking spot for our car and was very easy to communicate with. She provided excellent local recommendations. The room was beautiful with a super comfortable bed and great location. We were right next to the main square and amazing restaurants! Would definitely come back!
Daniel C — Google review
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Cons: We had a really unpleasant exit that made us worried for our safety after the manager threatened to call the police over his lack of upfront pricing. It was not clear at any point that the parking price was per diem (“15EUR”), the spot was in free street parking, and when I offered to pay the 15 instead of 30EUR for 36 hrs of parking the manager and owner (note this is NOT a family business, according to his description of his role) threatened to call the police. This is an extreme escalation based on his misrepresentation of information. We would have 100% parked in a garage that was more comfortable for our vehicle had this been shared beforehand. Or, paid the price we had agreed upon. He used our nationality against us, “you don’t get free parking in America.” He got this from our passports at check-in, not a conversation that was had. Actually, we live in New York City, where our street parking is free, and have lived in and traveled to over 100 countries. His communication was not clear, we felt scammed, we will never return, and we do not recommend. It is a manager’s job to be able to handle conflict, miscommunication, and contingencies, and threatening to call the police on well-meaning foreign nationals is an abuse that no guest should risk experiencing.

The perfect place to stay in split for many reasons: - The host: She was helpful in a way I've never seen before. She helped with the car parking even after check out she took care of the parking for us. She's available all the time and always makes sure that we're doing good. She also sends all the recommended restaurants and beaches in split. - The location: inside of the palace close to everything and 10 minute walk to the beach. - The room: is so elegantly designed and everything is brand new. I would recommend this place to everyone and i will come back.

The bed and breakfast B&B Be Happy-parking, breakfast offers guests a range of facilities such as free car parking and allergy-free rooms. The property is located within close proximity to Archaeological Museum Split. Joker bar is just a few steps away while the Split train station is just 20 minutes' walk away.
Host has all the amenities and social skills to enhance your stay in Split. He can arrange for transportation, and knows the city and surroundings like the back of his hand. Extremely friendly and makes a great bit of difference from your average host. Answered all our questions, and was very accommodating to our family, we been had a very young baby, and he treated us like we were his relatives. Please don't hesitate to book your time with him, and the location is top notch, it doesn't get much closer to all the best spots in the city center. Great view from your terrace, and was constantly available on the phone when we wanted to contact him, both before and during our stay. He deserves more guests, and you deserve to be hosted by him. Enjoy Split!

Everything was perfect. With my partner we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Damir, the administrator, is really kind and took care of all the details so that we feel comfortable. The location is very good, the parking is essential and the breakfast is abundant and can be changed every day. Thank you Damir! We can only recommend this excellent B&B. Be happy 😉
Naiara L — Google review
This homely gem is run by a very hard working kind and helpful person called Damir. Our flight was late and we arrived at the B&B by midnight, a bit tired and hungry. I had communicated this delay to him on booking.com by messaging. He had prepared a salad and small fish with bread for us just so we don't go hungry! He didn't have to and we much appreciate him for this, especially since we were not asked to pay for this food. I would love to stay here again. Damir keeps the place clean and shiny, and even has a special herbal tea blend that he makes and greeted us with it. I hope he goes from strength to strength.

(Translated by Google) Disastrous experience! Very simple but cold room as there is only an electric radiator which however cannot reach a decent temperature. But the most aberrant thing is the so-called "bathroom": this has been created in a sort of veranda at the entrance where there is also a shelf with cups and glasses. At the end, a shower has been created where INSIDE the shower tray there is the toilet (yes you understood correctly!) This corner should be closed by a folding door which doesn't work and is completely broken! A real disaster. Also if you close the bedroom door the bathroom is clearly freezing! A third world situation I don't think this arrangement is up to standard also because the air conditioning split is above the shower and the condensation drain pipe ends up in the shower drain. But safety? Really arrogant and very rude host when we pointed out these things he started taking our bags and throwing them out. It was truly an unspeakable scene and a nightmare night! (Original) Esperienza disastrosa!

The room is clean and tidy. Rather new and the shower is excellent. The beds are good, not excellent. Cant say the rooms are nice, but they are functional. Weird thing is that the power cord of the watercooker is too short for the power outlet but you can place it under the table. The location is excellent and only a 1-2 minute walk from the door to the old town (its just across the street past the park). There is a line for drying just outside the window.

The room itself is good, there is everything for comfort: kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, large shower, towels, air conditioning. I didn’t have enough of a proper blanket (it’s already cool at night in October, and there was only a blanket without bed linen). The owner is a very nice woman, friendly 👏🏻 I also liked that in the common corridor there was a table with various useful things (umbrella, after-sun cream, books), very nice ☺️ (Original)
