Finally got to dine at the famous House of Lechon — third time’s the charm! It’s true that the best time to visit is during non-peak hours, like before lunch or dinner. We went around 3 PM for a late lunch/early dinner (right after our flight) and got seated immediately. We ordered quite a few dishes — sadly, the spicy lechon was already sold out. The staff mentioned it’s always the first to go, so definitely come early if you want to try it! We ended up getting the classic lechon, crispy kangkong, baked scallops, pinakbet, dinuguan, and calamares. The baked scallops were super cheesy and flavorful — a bit rich (“nakakaumay” if you eat too much), but still delicious. The classic lechon was the true highlight: crunchy skin, flavorful meat, and perfect when paired with their vinegar dip. The rest of the dishes were okay — decent but not particularly standout. The staff were amazing — friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. Honestly, aside from the lechon, they were the stars of our visit. Big thanks to the team for the warm service and hospitality! Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting, especially if you come during off-peak hours to avoid the crowd.

It feels so homey! The food is amazing — everything tastes freshly made and full of flavor. The place itself is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are super accommodating and hospitable. We came for lunch on a weekday and the place was filled with people, so obviously this place is famous! We loved the lechon of course and the service was fast and friendly. Loved the dinuguan and great take on gising-gising kangkong. Thanks to Van Pangilinan, our server! He served with a great smile and warm hospitality that Filipinos are famous for. We will come back again this week before we leave Cebu!

The no BS review: Went here with my family to celebrate me and my father's birthday. THE LECHON DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The best lechon we have tasted so far! If you are travelling to Cebu and you love lechon, House of Lechon is a must try. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. Expect a lot of people during busy hours. Surprisingly, service is quite faster than expected despite the volume of customers. I REPEAT, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. COME HERE AND LET YOUR TASTE BUDS BE HAPPY.

Couldn’t go to Cebu without eating lechon, so we asked around and majority recommended we try House of Lechon, so that’s where we ended up going! We loved the food, and service (from Aldrin) was also excellent. We ordered: - Lechon (3/4 kilo) ₱1095 - Puso ₱25 per piece - Half garlic rice ₱45 - Gising Gising na Kangkong ₱270 - Sinigang na Tangigue ₱450 - Grilled Chorizo ₱75 per stick

They got my orders wrong even after I repeated it THRICE! Meaning I had to say it 3 times to the cashier and once to the guy supposedly assembling the order. Since the dine-in orders would need 15 minutes, we agreed to have all of them served at once. Once served, I was given all non-spicy steamed rice. When I asked the now-different guy (LEMAR on his nametag) assembling orders why all of the steamed rice are not spicy, he was so dismissive and said “walay nakabutang spicy sa order”. His tone was insinuating it’s my fault. No apologies whatsoever. But hey, you still got it wrong — one still says spicy in my receipt. I wanted to tell him that but he was so avoidant and walked away from me. I also asked the cashier why she did not indicate I wanted spicy steamed rice but she did not even bother answering me. It would have been fine if they got my order wrong. I am always considerate with service crews/waiters/Grab drivers/etc. But the way they avoided me and tried to point fingers really got into my nerves.

we just bought take out recently and it tastes very different from the ones we usually get. there’s less sauce, less meat and it was super thick and dry. the empress roll’s cabbage was kind of hard and hard to chew compared to before. also with the new packaging, serving also got smaller.

Food is good . However, if you plan to put up lots of rice, at least put in sauce that matches the content. Sure, lots of steamed rice looks surprisingly advantageous to the customer, but it looked like leftovers because there was less sauce and meat. 👎👎👎 Edit 2024. Downgraded rating. Dont order takeout. I was told that they will prepare right away and deliver by Lalamove. When I followed up 30 minutes after, they were still preparing the food. Then they said after 20 minutes that a rider is already available. But when I called again after 15 minutes, they said the rider cancelled. So I cancelled the whole thing. After a few minutes they called that they already have a rider. It has been 20 minutes since then. Turns out the delivery person had to make another delivery in another subdivision and took another 20 minutes to get to us. I don’t know why the people in the BTC dim sum break cannot just tell the truth and the real situation that it will take them 1hour and 30 minutes to deliver and not let us believe that they can deliver right away. I am NEVER going to order from that branch again. THEIR SERVICE SUCKS!

When you visit Cebu, Dimsum Break is a must-see and must-go place to eat. It offers dimsum meals — especially their original steamed fried rice, spring rolls, siomai, siopao. It tastes and feels like home. The foods are served immediately upon ordering. No waiting time. What’s good about this place is that they are open 24/7.

I gave this "new" Dimsum Break a chance three times, but they disappointed me every time. It always takes 10 minutes or more just to pay, so the food I ordered ends up getting cold.

First i have to say is i am from Texas and this version of Tex-Mex fajitas were terrible... I dont usually stop eating, but if you ate this you have no idea the flavours that come from real tex-mex fajitas. This is far from a good meal for my Fiancée and I. We tried their Nachos and it was waaaaay too sweet and sour cream is supposed to be sour and a bit thick. She tried the pasta and it was undercooked... I haven't been to places that i haven't finished my meal, but this is a first... We cant stand the food... Maybe the other dishes are halfway decent, but judging on this they definitely miss the mark on quality...

This is my first time trying Casa Verde in the menu reminds me of the U.S. 🇺🇸. I ordered the fish tacos and they weren’t bad at all. The lime sauce they gave me really brought the flavor of the dish. We ordered the Casa Verde Platter since we were a big group. The servings were big, and the ribs were really good! I also tried the Death By Chocolate for dessert, very sweet and just right after a heavy meal. What stood out to me was the ambiance, especially in the garden area. It felt peaceful and well-maintained. You can tell they really put effort into keeping the place pleasant and comfortable. 🫶🏼

I usually come here everytime I'm in Cebu. The food quality is the same, very respectful and helpful staff, good prices and excellent food. We had the pork steak and Brian's ribs. Delicious as always. No need for additional sauce, it's already very tasty.

This place is a must to go to for anyone who enjoys a good plate of quality food i had there calamari and it was the best I've ever had my partner enjoyed the shrimp with ribs after one taste I can admit I'm in love with the food the staff are also worth a visit as they are polite and more than willing to help the portions are big yet the price is small. A popular restaurant hidden on a back road mostly used as a shortcut for local traffic. Baked ribs with a tasty barbeque sauce is their signature dish. Served with vegetables and rice. You won't go away hungry. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Classic big baby back ribs that are still affordable ans yummy. Place is spacious and service is very fast. A must in your cebu food trip list. They also have giant burger and milkshake that is good for sharing.

I have been to Orange Brutus twice before, but my experience was not good. The service was bad and the price was expensive for its portion. My friends convinced me again to try. I ordered the sizzling burger steak. It's good and the price is okay although sizzling is not my favorite. I just ordered it because it was highly recommended. Thus, my opinion on Orange Brutus has changed a bit, for the better.

Dodn't expect to find a gold while visiting this local fastfood chain in Cebu. Affordable and good choices. Had the spicy sizzling burger steak and vegetable lumpia and it was good. Will definitely come again!

Smoothie was okay nothing special just average! Small portion a bit pricey for what you get. A bit sugary. Didn’t try the food so I can’t tell if it’s good.

I had a really disappointing experience here. I really like this place and the food is fantastic, but the service is just bad. The cashier didn’t get my order right, and it left me pretty disappointed. I wish the staff paid more attention because the food deserves better service.

I was sent back to my high school days when my dad used to drive me and my best friend to have a burger at Orange Brutus some 40 years ago. The burger now seems smaller, but I can still taste the old flavours. Of course, I washed down my meal with a cup of refreshing, brain freezing mango shake.

No doubt I like their sizzling burger steak but the place smells. Like it’s a dirty moist old kitchen cockroach smell. Specially if you go to the counter because the kitchen is right there. Bearable if you want to eat their food. I would eat far from the counter so I cannot smell it.

I liked the chori with rice. The only downside is there was no hot sauce.

La fortuna nearby Santo Ñiño Church across Kaking was not good. They serves spoiled/ bad foods🤮. I ordered bam-i and it’s spoiled (maela pajud kay lata🥺). I returned it and demanded to change another dish and still didn’t like it😭.

During our visit, we encountered a woman responsible for serving our food. Unfortunately, she was pretty rude and displayed a dismissive attitude, not completing her task with any sense of professionalism. Additionally, the egg pie and custard cake we were served were clearly dried out and old, which added to our disappointment with the overall experience.

Today's visit wasn't as good as my previous ones. Ongoing renovations have shrunk the place down to a tiny square with a lot of their goodies cramped into a smaller space, a bunch of items aren't available due to the space limitation. At least I got some Hopia and Kaikai

The bakery is big and spacious, but with very limited variety of products on display and to chose from, some tikoys and hopias, price is more expensive than other bakeries.

La Fortuna near Cathedral Cebu City serves bam.i with no meat, all noodles wlang carrot, only 2 pcs Cabbage very small serving at a price of P130. Its not worth d price. Their food tastes more on msg vetsin. I dont recommend it to anybody

Their peanut cake small and hard. 120.00 pesos for 30 pieces. Other items almost same price as 711 or higher.

I bought a La Fortuna Hopia Dice Mongo in Rose Pharmacy Fuente. I shared the hopia with my friend who complained about the hopia having an odd taste. When I was about to eat the last piece there was a little cockroach attached to the side! Well, it's already dead and flat 'coz I guess it was already there when it was baked. So gross! I reported it to your main office but was told to visit the store in Borromeo so they can exchange it. No thank you! After what I've experienced! I dont think I will buy any more of your products ever. I reported this to Rose Pharmacy and will report this case to the Mayor 'coz maybe they can check on the cleanliness of your bakery as well.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-kept, with the staff consistently maintaining a high level of cleanliness. The convenient location allowed us to easily access the city and nearby tourist attractions, enhancing our experience. While the hotel offers top-notch amenities and a pleasant atmosphere, we did find that it was a bit on the expensive side compared to other options in the area. Additionally, the lack of essential toiletries in the room was a small drawback that could be improved upon. Nevertheless, we appreciated the comfortable environment and the attentive service, making for a memorable stay. The hotel staff were welcoming, polite, and highly professional in addressing our needs. We are grateful to them for their assistance.

Our condo in IT Park was without electricity for 24 hours so we moved to the Waterfront for a stay. Outstanding, courteous, professional staff. Clean, well appointed rooms. Common areas are pristine. Food is great. As an American who has traveled extensively around the world, I rate this hotel among the top 10%. It's a five star hotel, no doubt.

This hotel was my first choice when I came to Cebu. I think it was a very good choice now that I stayed here. The grounds are beautiful, the interior of the hotel amazing, the restaurant along with continental breakfast is the best quality food and service, the room was superb and the happy hour and the floor really had great snacks, drinks, and view. I just loved this place. It isnt really a bad walk from here to Ayala malls or IT park. I was warned to be careful if walking to Ayala due to road traffic, but it really wasn't bad at all.

So I went there with my foreigner boyfriend, staffs obviously knows iam brown skinned or Morena ,they probably already assumed that I was just a girl picked up from a street hoping to be one of the "nakaahon sa kahirapan" girlie, I don't think it's was okay for the staffs to really ask/say these lines 1. WOW yahaya indae ahh! Bugal² nga pagka storya. Sabay katawa 2.Dae ( I will clarify this at the bottom) 3.Asa naman sad mo laag dae? 4. Kana dae! with a disturbing perverted joking voice Like akoa partner ilaha ge trato og nice , like proper/professional gyud and to be clear I don't need them to call me madam or mam but at least call me MISS!, I don't know you and you definitely don't know me to call me indae , I understand it still means younger one/sister according to English translation, but having a multi million/billion hotel, I think all staff needs to call their guest mam,sir or miss, they call me dae with disgust and with laughter like I was nothing, smirking all together . It was a something I didn't expect, if u dont understand how I feel then maybe it's just me, I think small to big business, poor to rich people that enters a company or business, needs to be treated equally by stating the right name greeting.

We really enjoyed our stay! The buffet selection was delicious with plenty of good options. Service at the lounge was a bit slow, but overall the experience was awesome and we would definitely come back.

The negative experience with security, front desk and your manager Michael was the worst experience that I have ever encountered. The treatment was unprofessional and I felt I was discriminated against. The staff treated my longtime friend that came to pickup some family gifts as if she was a prostitute. That is just very wrong. It started with the door security and the nighttime front dest desk person and then your manager Michael tried to cover it up and threatened to blacklist me if I complained. They attempted to extort additional money from me. I understand you have a problem and I have been approached by prostitutes and ladyboy prostitutes in your hotel and casino before, so I know it's a real problem. But, just because a friend or business associate visits a foreign guest, your security and front desk should not assume it's a prostitute and harass the guest in front of other people. This is an unacceptable practice and I am considering legal action against your employees and hotel.

In a nutshell: Everything is, literally, yummy as the name says about this small but cool resto, located just after banilad / Cabangcalan road. They are quite popular (which was a surprise to me) especially with their "reaper ribs", and believe you and me, they have actual reapers (or marka demonyo for the locals) hot peppers for the sauce of the delicious ribs. That was a first for me. We actually discovered this place by accident after looking around Plazza Elisia, a type of arcade where other restos are also located. So you can visit them for desserts, or buy some "ukay-ukay" before or after your meal at Everything Yummy (lol). Quite surprised they even had awards for best ribs. So for everyone out there, especially in the banilad-talamban area, or even those just looking for a reaper rib experience, check this place out. How to get there: Everything Yummy is located at the ground floor of Plazza Elisia nearing Talamban. All types of transportation pass here, so that's good news. The place though, for first timers, is located way inward of the arcade. You can ask around, but if you are facing the arcade fro mthe road, it will be on the right side, opposite a mediterranean restaurant. Pros: Everything is literally yummy here good price for stakes and dishes friendly and helpful staff though the place is small, the ambiance makes up for it aside from ribs and steaks, I also love their burgers, fries and other dishes They also have that really expensive Angus steak, but will reserve that for special occasions hahaha Ample parking within the Plazza, but there will be pay parking (10 Pesos for motorcycles) other restos and bistro's to visit for desserts, pharmacy, or used clothing, aka. ukay-ukay 😜 They accept cashless payment like GCash / debit / credit card Cons no desserts no rest room - I think it's the same with the rest of the restos. The rest room will be a separate, common room located elsewhere No alcohol to match with your steak, or ribs - bummer. Hard to find for first timers Conclusion: I can't get enough of their reaper ribs - too spicy, too good, too delicious hehehe Definitely coming back. My dad would love it here. Please treat your friends and loved ones here. The price is really worth it. It's quiet and really cool ambiance. 👍👍👍

We dropped by this restaurant after our trip to Budlaan falls. I had fond memories of this place (from a different branch), i have always loved their pork chop and gambas however when we ate here the meat was really tough (both the salpicao and the pork) and taste wise it's not as flavorful as I remembered it to be. But all in all it's still value for money since they have big portions at a very affordable price.

It's pretty quaint and you can dine in peace as it's not always packed. Can't seat too many folks but I usually just come here with my partner. One of the best ribs I've had but they've since expanded their menu to include even more mouthwatering dishes.

Nook restautant in Talamban. Their Champion Chops are the best!!! Also try the Banana Cream Pudding for dessert. :)

The food was good ! I would come back again if ever I'm in the area! Stopped by here for a quick bite while my dog good groomed. The servers were kind, and the food was made fresh and served in good time ! I would recommend this to anyone for Filipino food. Would like to try other dishes they offer

I used to love Sunburst and it’s been a while since I ate there. One day I decided to eat here again. I went inside and ordered around 830. There was another family who just came before me. I didnt know it closes at 9 and a waitress took my order. The waiter who served my order after a few minutes hurriedly put the food on my table without even speaking and just left without giving me water. I asked him for some and he had to ask twice obviously irritated. I proceeded to eat my meal but he never gave me my water and I had to ask another waitress. The waiter was busy folding the tables already I think looking forward to closing (i kept checking the family but they havent even eaten yet) and kept looking annoyed. I asked for the bill from him and he just frowned at me. the waitress overheard and just gave me the bill. I shared here a photo of the food. the chicken doesnt even feel and look special anymore (maybe tainted by this experience). will just reminisce the old memories I had with this resto and never come back again (to think I travelled from MNL to eat this).

For the first time, this branch didn’t disappoint. We’ve been dining here for years, and the usual issue has always been the long wait—typically around 40–45 minutes, sometimes even longer. But this time, we were already enjoying our lomi in under 30 minutes! The chicken is still as good as ever, although the portion seems a bit smaller hahahah. We also got our usual chicken skin, and overall, we had a great experience this time. Hoping they can really keep this up!

Sunburst Restaurant has been a Cebuano favourite for a very long time. This particular branch in Ayala went through a facelift/renovation sometime ago. It has a very refreshing look. Quite a relaxing vibe as you go in, family setting as always. It may seem cramped but the space is maximised. Sunburst remains to have that trademark aroma when you walk around the area. It’s definitely a very good fried chicken. It’s amazing to try a chicken for once without the use of gravy. Perfect! I would give it five stars but service and speed need to improve.

Very disappointing experience. The food portions were extremely small, and everything tasted dry and stale. This was surprising as it took forever for our meals to arrive. But the worst part of the experience was upon receipt of the bill. The menu clearly stated that iced tea was 10 pesos with a meal, but the staff tried to charge full price. When we pointed this out, the cashier laughed and acted like it was a joke, even after we showed their own menu as proof. It was frustrating and unprofessional. We eventually got the correct price, but the attitude and lack of respect toward customers made the whole visit unpleasant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Sunburst boasts itself with crispy fried chicken. I agree that it is crispy but it tastes okay, nothing special. In fact, you can see the size of the small chicken (a very native drumstick). The coleslaw is also ok. I just wonder why they have like 10 interns just standing there not doing anything and food service takes more than 30min.

Sunburst has always been nostalgic for me - their fried chicken is really good! However, my experience at the Ayala branch was super disappointing. The food was fine, just as good as in other branches, so no complaints there. But what completely ruined my visit was the behavior of the staff. Two employees were at the cashier area - one sitting on a stool while the other was literally checking their hair for lice. It was incredibly unhygienic and disturbing to witness, especially in a dining establishment. I’ve shared this experience with all of my friends, and none of us will be returning to this branch again.

I was SCAMMED!. I ordered half a kilo of lechon through Grab, but what you gave me is obviously less than half and includes a bunch of other items that I didn't order. You should at least not accept the booking and avoid scamming me. Where are your manners.

Great food, place is not instagram ready. We took lunch and sat in front of the electric fan to cool down. Almost no waiting time for lechon. Half of skin is crispy, half is not, but it's the salty and umami lechon I crave. There is no gravy here but the typical Cebuano dip pf vinegar to cut through the oil and salt. Puso is smaller than other places, and the beef stew serving size was small from mu expectations but savory and beefy (not salty). It's nilagang baka Tagalog style, with only beef in the servings no vegetables. Went here to get out meat fix and completely enjoyed. Thanks to the friend who recommended this place.

Must go-to Lechon place #wheninCebu. This is not your Instagram-pretty lechon place. But if you are after fresh, crispy skin, and succulent roasted pig, then this is your go-to place. Located in nondescript Maxwell Hotel parking area, you are in for a culinary experience. I brought Manila friends over and it was totally worth the detour.

Good Original Lechon. I like that they are open 24 hours. I had a Cebu Lechon craving and I went there 11 PM. It's just too bad that they were out of Spicy Lechon. Still, the original flavor Lechon, 2 plain rice, 2 coke in cans I had satisfied. my craving.

After the novena mass, we decided to go to My Joy. We haven't been to this place for a long time. There was a long line to the counter because many people had the same idea as us. But there is a counter for Senior Citizens. We ordered their cheese burgers, fries, and Coke. It was better than other fast food restaurants. But service was a bit slow, maybe because of the influx of people. Definitely will come back again.

The place looks very festive (bright colors and great Pinoy arts on the walls). Food is also good. The price is also affordable. The location is also accessible to nearby tourist spots.

This is a small company that took on the other Mc ,, company and lost and had to change there name to My Joy, even though they don't sell burgers, fries, chicken or sell coke.we found this beautiful small fast food shop about 20 years ago, and have loved it ever since, food is always great and the halo halo is just the best, they have a bar area where you and the kids, can watch them make it, shop is clean, security on the door and staff very friendly ,, see you there

The pork belly is the best. I love their taco. I let my mom tried their pork belly. Though I wish they have more serving of rice. Palabok was not that taste to look at compared to what is being flashed on screen. And please dont expect too much by it's taste. I hope they have more option for the drinks on their value meals. Like, I would want to have pineapple juice but it's not part of the Value Meal so I have to order then separately. The palabok, toasted bread and the drink. Love the place as well. Do try for yourself, My Joy.

The food was a 10/10 for us. Have been to a great deal of Italian restaurants around Manila and NOTHING came close to the taste Tavolata. The pasta were authentic handmade, the sauces captured the taste of each dish and they were unique. Their pizza dough was amazing. Definitely worth the price. Please do not skip when in Cebu.

Would definitely recommend this place. We enjoyed their Prosciutto Pizza and Lasagna rolls. Lasagna was tasty, I enjoyed the cheese, would suggest a bit more sauce. The pizza, I had better prosciutto pizza experience in my hometown, but theirs was good as well, the basil on top made the taste distinct

Truffle pasta only had a slight hint of truffle. Could use some crispy guanciale. Pizza was good, the crust is crunchy but lacked that bit of chewy-ness I'm looking for from a properly-proofed dough. Service is good, but I was initially put off by the warning given that outside beverages are not allowed (see, it was really hot outside and I just had to buy myself a really cold mango shake before coming here). Visitors who just came from Cebu's beaches might be intimidated as the restaurant had a more fine dining vibe. I even questioned myself if I was properly dressed. Price is perhaps reasonable given the atmosphere however if I'm going to base it on the food alone, it is rather on the higher end of the spectrum for similar places I've tried elsewhere.

Pasta is great paired with the calamares. The asparagus was the icing on the cake. The servers were really accommodating. The place is serene and has a nice view.

Yoyi’s never fails to satisfy my sweet tooth! Their cheesecake is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced sweetness and creamy. The brazo de mercedes is another favorite of mine, light, delicious, and always consistent. Prices are pang masa too, very affordable. They never disappoint. Highly recommend trying their cheesecake for yourself, it’s definitely worth it!

A comely pastry shop that sells fine selection of cakes, brownies, and other delectable pastries nestled somewhere in the heart of uptown Cebu. I tried their best-seller, a chocolate cake, and it tastes great. It's not too sweet and it looks presentable. The slice of the cake is also alright, not so big for you to "sawa" and not too small for you to say "kulang." Aside from the chocolate cake you may also have a slice of a velvet cake, cheesecake, ube halaya cake, and their specialty - the mango cake. They sell delicious brownies like revel bars, cassava, and rocky road. A selection of other pastries are also worth noting such as their choco crinkles which literally melts in your mouth in every bite, and the delicious and crunchy egg tart.

Good coffee, good cakes, good service. Place is comfortable with air conditioning and nice tables.

The coffee at The Daily Grind is really good, smooth and flavorful, and definitely something I’d come back for. It’s a nice place to chill or catch up with friends. Keep in mind that the second floor an alfresco area, which also serves as the smoking section. It’s quite covered with a plastic sheet, so the cigarette smoke just stays trapped in the space. It gets a bit uncomfortable, especially if you're a non-smoker, since the area doesn’t have proper ventilation. Overall, I’d still recommend the coffee, but I hope they improve the setup upstairs to make it more comfortable for everyone.

Ridiculous prices, smaller cups. 190 for a large iced latte that's packed with ice in a tiny cup. They've decreased cup size and raised prices acouple of times now. Now, I won't be back. Plenty of excellent places within walking distance within Kasambagan area that provide much better value (and quality) for the money.

Best pork chop in town! I tried it on a Monday evening, I came back on Thursday! 😆 the pork chop is just delicious! Parking is limited if you’re driving a car. So far I always had a chance to park. I dunno where to park if its full. Space inside is small, but you have the option to go to the roof deck. Staff is very accommodating! Cats are cute! 🐈

A good place to chill and work. Affordable, clean and has beautiful interior. They have 2hrs free internet connection but I guess you can have longer net connection as long as you keep ordering. I would recommend the Thai rice dish (the picture below) It tastes so amazing. I love the muffin and my drink to.

I went here Sunday at 10/11 am, lunch rush was just about to start. Was able to secure a spot, the kuyas are very accommodating to all your needs. Food is delicious, however you will need to keep track on what you are eating/getting as you will be the one telling them what you consume. (Please be honest, hehe) Some of the tables can sit up to 6 people, there are more seats on the 2nd/loft area. Note: every table is a different merchant, so pick what suits your taste since every table has their own offers.

When you want to try authentic Cebuano-way of eating, this is the best way. Although it's not suggested that you eat this type of food regularly, but it's a must try, sometimes. The food is rich in cholesterol and uric acid but forget about it sometimes (lol). Ngohiong, pork chop, longganisa, chorizo, chicharon bulaklak paired with puso is heaven!

It seemed fun when first walking in, but they yell at you to pick their table, so you just have a whole bunch of people shouting at you. But the server was attentive sometimes so that was good. Unfortunately the food was cold, chewy, and not freshly cooked. It's sitting out for hours with many people combing through it and no sneeze guards. At first I thought the pork chop was bone because it was so hard. Nope, just old, crispy meat. They only have two drink choices: Mountain Dew and water, and they charge a lot for it. Also, the server mocked my voice when I was paying. It's really not fun to give someone money that just made fun of you. Also the price is basically 50% higher than you would get anywhere else. Go to the BBQ place behind the hotel next-door instead. It's called Iskina Puso and it's freshly charcoal grilled with reasonable prices. I'm not affiliated but it's much better and cheaper.

Went at around 5pm and the food was cold. It was my first time eating at this place and I was caught off guard how aggressive the staff were. They were trying to get customers to eat at their table. They must have a quota system for their workers which is unfortunate. I got their ginabot (30php) and some puso. It was alright although the sauce was banging!

Don’t set high expectations here. This is mainly fried food. Just went here for the experience but nothing special with the food. It’s actually oily since it’s been fried for we don’t know how long already. Drinks available are only water and mountain dew.

Every time I come home, Punko Punko sa Fuente is a must-visit. This local spot may be a tourist stop now, but it proudly serves authentic "Street food-style classics"—savory, fatty, fried favorites that bring back memories of my college days. The place is clean and hygienic, so no worries there. Just be ready for a bit of heat during midday since there’s no air conditioning. Still, it’s all part of the charm! Punko Punko is a reminder that good food doesn’t have to be fancy—just honest, filling, and full of flavor. Always hits the spot.

We went there around 9 AM on a weekday. There were quite a few people, but luckily, there were still vacant tables. Each table seats about six to seven people, so you might end up sharing with strangers, which is part of the experience. They have all the classics from hotdogs to longganisa, kwek-kwek, ngohiong, lumpia, bola-bola, chicharon bulaklak, crab meat, and so much more. Of course, they have puso. The food isn’t served piping hot, but it’s warm enough to enjoy. Best part? You can eat them with your bare hands (you'll be given a plastic to use) The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Each table has a "kuya" assigned to serve you, and they’re always attentive whether you need your pork chop chopped or a Mountain Dew or other drinks, they’ve got you covered. You can easily spot them in their bright orange uniforms. One thing that might feel a bit overwhelming is how aggressive they can be when you enter. They’ll all try to get you to sit at their table, which can be a little intense. But once you're seated, they’re genuinely helpful and warm. Since it’s a typical pungko-pungko setup, you have to remember what you ate because, at the end, the kuya will ask for your count. If you have a good memory, great! But if you're like me, I suggest keeping track on your phone, especially if you're dining with someone else. Honesty is the best policy! The food was delicious, the staff was great, and the experience was fun. We only spent around ₱400 for two people, and we were absolutely stuffed! If you’re looking for affordable, tasty street food in Cebu, Pungko-Pungko sa Fuente is definitely worth a visit.

My first time spending my time here. They have mouth watering cakes and pastries. One should try the red velvet. It's a signature cake by them. There are still a lot of other pastties and cakes available for everyone. Next time I'll visit them, I'll try another cake.

The flat white is the best in this country so far. And it's only ₱110, very affordable. It should be related they use barista milk. -no wifi -no outlet//consent -no alternative milks

My friend (who seemed to have a list of Cebu’s Best places to dine and have coffee) took me there to have coffee after we had hearty bucket of shrimp meal at a nearby I Love Bucket Shrimps. The shop’s location is quiet, few blocks from the city’s busier Jones Avenue. The interior can give you different “touches and feels”. Some corners have walls parged, others are decorated and shiny. It’s a cozy place to just relax, and let time go by...I suppose. I understood students frequent there to study. But, if you’re unlucky, you’ll be sitting next to a big loud group of the younger generation. That’s our case. Still, the place is recommendable. It would have been a much better experience, sans the loud insensitive fella who was supposed to be there to “study”. NOTE TO BRING THEIR OWN CAR: I didn’t see a dedicated park area. PS. I think the shop can do something about the clientele who behave like they’re in a club.

A hidden coffee gem in the middle of Cebu. We ordered a chicken Alfredo pasta, a slice of ube cake, and a cup of Americano. The place is really nice with a lot of seating. The price is decent with quality service and packaging.

The view from the outside alone is very inviting. Walking in, you can smell coffee being brewed and the sight of their coffee bean roaster in action feels like your in coffee heaven. Not to mention the softest cheese bread and their creamy yema bun!! On the other hand, parking is limited to the sides unless they have an area just recently added.

The cake is so yummy. They accept GCash, credit card, debit card, and Maya. They are open until 5:00 PM. The candle is not free, you have to pay for it. They also offer cake slices, but they are quite expensive. They have cheese rolls and other pastries too.

Red velvet is a total of 4/5 for me. Taste is 5/5 because its not too sweet. Which i like for my palate. I like it moist though. Compared to mrs whartons in iloilo.. mrs whartons is still the best for me. Also The place is comfy. If youre walking going to the capitol, you should check this out

They are very cheap people (Feb. 2024). I even insisted to pay for it, but still they did not give me extra tomato with my food - it seems a joke, but it is true. What kind of business is this? I also asked for extra somagh and told her that I pay extra $ for it, they did not give me. Their food prices is similar to the USA prices, but their portion is about one third to one fourth - so small, that even a 5 years old kid will not be full. By the way, this is not a restaurant, it suppose to be a take out place, located in a very dirty neighborhood. Considering, the time and trouble of getting there, the quality and quantity of the food, and the service and price, It is not worth it.

Came here for business stayed for the food. Location is convenient - right accross Ayala Mall and its public transport terminal and is adjacent to the business park in Lahug. Sending my compliments to the ever-helpful and friendly staff that made our stay comfortable. Also sending my compliments to the chefs and bakers behind the delicious buffet meals. My favorites are their croissants, their donuts, gelato, their vegetable salads and their sushi. The rooms and conference halls were also well kept and comfortable. We love the fact that they use refillable glass bottles instead of purified water in plastic bottles. The only con here is emergency exit door that was HARD to push when my colleagues and I had go go downstairs and evacuate during the Sepyember 30 Magnitude 6.8 Earthquake here in Cebu. Another thing would be the need for PWD and Senior-friendly escape routes in case of emergencies like the recent earthquake.

Tried to book a room over the phone at 9pm so my wife could stay out of the rain and go home in the morning as she lives in the Provence. The lady on the phone said their “reservation team” went home for the night or whatever so it was payment upon arrival. That’s ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Any hotel should be able to accept reservations whether it is online OR over the phone at any point at any time. Do you not wanna make money?? Very disappointed in the hotel. Looks beautiful in the pictures. But very lacking at the counter. I suggest calling another hotel in the event you need a room last minute, late at night when it’s raining and you live an hour away with no other options. Thanks.

OVERCHARGED and disappointed! I visited METRO GAISANO COLON-D/S on June 15, 2025 and was shocked to see the bill. The prices on the menu didn't match what I was charged. I was overcharged by 800 and had to dispute it with the staff. Despite pointing out the pricing difference, they refused to alter the transaction and instead urged me to buy more things to match the higher price threshold. This not only felt unfair, but it also drove me to spend more than I had intended. Not happy with the experience. Wouldn't recommend. Make sure to double-check your bill before paying!

A very large mall. You can get practically anything there. Plenty of shopping options. Also, many restaurants. The only drawback is the stairs. You have to walk a long way to go up or down a single floor. There were no escalators running.

Metro Colon is easily the favorite department store for Cebuanos whenever you are in Colon, Cebu. But I'm here to be reviewing about the food court at Metro Colon. Simple the best food court here if you happen to be strolling along Colon street. They variety is Judy simple unmatched. From seafood to casual snacks, Filipino, Chinese to Italian and American and even Korean. I like it that you can also order for only fifty pesos you can choose from an array of snacks good for two people. It is located at the top most floor of the building. The price is just standard and understandable use most of them are tenants. A good to though is to buy beverage at the groceries below if you like to save on your meals. They used to be a drinking fountain here. But if you need water your only choice is a bottled water which starts at 20 pesos the smallest. My favorite dish to order is the Bulalo which is 250 pesos but that is good for 4 people.

Overhyped place. If you like sweet food you'll like this place. I like cheese and was disappointed with what I was served with. The taste of sweet meat just threw me off - if you like that type of chicken you'll enjoy their menu.

Went here with friends to experience Fat Dois. Got lucky that the waiting line is not too long. Got prioritized right away the moment that we told the service crew we would like to take our spot. Customer service wise, service crews are friendly. Menu is straightforward and price is reasonable. Place is good for groups. Ordered Kim-chi rice, some chicken and cheese, and their recommended shrimps with cheese. I don't find their dishes really special (see below). But I think if you are the person who loves cheese so much, this is the place for you. Other than that, nothing to recommend, really.

If I was a person who loves cheese then I wouldn't mind the long wait just to get a table in this restaurant. The food is just okay, to be honest. What makes it different from others is the effect of the cheese melting right in front of you. The ribs are good, it's soft and tender to eat. Chicken was a 4/5. What I find very tasty is the kimchi rice. It was placed as a side dish on the menu but with the large serving, it could be an entire entree by itself.

Went there with my sib and his wife. Waiting time was a bit long however, it may be because many locals head to this diner. Food was unique. Any cheese lover would find this a food haven. As for me, it was good considering I’m not into cheese. The Kimchi Rice, on the other hand, was the best I’ve tried. Will have to go back and try their other dishes.

If you are looking for a decent restaurant to eat delicious food with reasonable price, this is the place to go. Fat Dois offers mouthwatering dishes flooded with cheese tht does not leave your wallet empty. One major downside of this place is the long queue you would have to wait especially during peak hours, weekends, and holidays. The staff seemed to be less friendly. However, the food is definitely to die for.

My sister already told me that it will take a long time in order to have a seat there because she just work nearby in Fat Dois but we didn't expect that it will take us 3-4 hours to wait but we don't have anychoice because we want to try it. At first the food is really delicious, mouthwatering and so cheesy but the more you eat isn't good. We ordered a lot because we are very hungry of waiting but we didn't able to finish all the food we order. 🤦 Their place is quiet small also thatswhy and you need to wait again for your order when you are inside. So much patient you need if you are going to eat in this place.

Love this place! This is where I get my coffee beans in Cebu, and they never disappoint. They’ve got an awesome selection of single origins and blends, and the quality is always top-notch. The staff really know their stuff and are always friendly. Most of the time I just swing by to grab my beans, and they treat me to a free cup, hot or cold brew, my choice. A couple of times I’ve stayed to hang out and get some work done, and the vibe was super chill and peaceful. If you’re after a genuinely good cup of coffee, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Honestly it's one of my favourite places and definitely the best I've had in the Philippines so far. This place lives and breathes specialty coffee. From the moment I walked in, I could tell the baristas weren't just serving coffee, they were crafting it. As far as I could tell, they are very open to listening to your likes and are able to adjust to your preferences. The space itself is small and intimate, but that only adds to the charm. It's not the spot for long laptop sessions or hushed conversations, there’s an energy here, fueled by people who genuinely love coffee. What truly sets this place apart is their mission. Good Cup is deeply committed to ethical sourcing and empowering Filipino farmers through programs like farm initiatives and sensory education. That dedication translates into every sip and shapes their café culture, intimate, and honest. I even ended up buying a bag of beans to take home. I will surely return.

This has always been my go to place when I crave good food and a peaceful view ❤️ I love the fact that they close late at 10pm; one of the few places in Busay to get food at late hours. Although, I wish they updated the menu of their pork belly (like the picture or price maybe) because the portion had significantly sized down compared to their usual servings. I wouldn’t recommend it for it’s price. All the other foods though are 10/10!

The place has a nice view, which definitely adds to the experience. We tried their pork belly pesto on herbed rice and the spicy pork belly with spicy rice. While the servings came with generous portions of rice, I really hope they can work on improving the pork belly portions—it looked quite small and too thin considering the price point. They also have puto-manga and native hot chocolate (sikwate) on the menu. Personally, I found these just okay—nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it’s an alright spot if you want to enjoy the scenery, but there’s definitely room to step up the food portions to make it feel more worth it.

The aesthetic of the restaurant is really nice. This place is perfect in the morning because the view is beautiful and relaxing. However, I personally think the food is a bit overhyped. We ordered Cheese Dynamite, Humba, Puto Sikwate (Budbud) with Mango, Sisig, and Tuna Panga. Cheese Dynamite – 3/5 It was okay, but nothing special. Grilled Tuna Panga – 3/5 It was decent, though I feel they could do much better with the flavor and texture. Humba – 2/5 I expected more, especially since the place is called Humba Heaven. Sadly, it didn’t taste like heaven at all. I’ve had more satisfying humba elsewhere that cost less. Sisig – 0/5 Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing dish. It had a foul smell that made it hard to eat. I’m not sure if it had pig brain (which should be fine since I can eat tuslob buwa), but something was definitely off. This was the reason I couldn’t finish my meal. Budbud – 4/5 This was the best dish for me! The budbud itself was delicious and comforting. The only downside was the mango—it was too sour. Affordability: The prices are affordable. I wouldn’t mind if they charged a bit more as long as the food quality improves. Ambiance: 5/5 The place looks great and feels peaceful, especially in the morning.

Everything is good, the humba is nice except the shrimps. We ordered buttered shrimp overload and they did not even bother remove the shrimp's digest. Instead of buttery taste, it is bitter. The view is good tho

We dined at Handuraw and enjoyed the Happy Jojos — crispy potato wedges, with fried chicken perfect for sharing. The Corned Beef Silog was savory and satisfying, paired well with rice and egg. Everything was served hot and fresh. Soft drinks completed our meal. A cozy spot for simple, hearty comfort food at a good price.

Handuraw Pizza Mandaue has quickly become one of my go-to places for drinks with friends. Whether you’re in the mood for ice-cold beers or just want to unwind and enjoy good food. This place has the right atmosphere, it’s casual, laid-back, and never too loud. Just the perfect setting for good conversations and laughter.

Always a good time with Handuraw. There is a live band at night. They have a function room that’s good for 20-25 people. The staff is very polite and attentive. I held my children’s birthday party here and the kids had a blast. For a small fee, you can also bring in 3rd party supplier to make your event livelier! Parking is not a problem because it’s very spacious.

Just like the old days. Food here are superb and price is reasonable. Place is great with ample parking space, comfort rooms are clean, crews are friendly and professional. If you want to chill and listen to relaxing music , I would recommend you visit during the weekdays because they have live accoustic band playin chill and relaxing music BUT if you are into rock- then either Saturday or Sunday is the best for you. As for the food, try the Phyllis pizza with white sauce and don't miss out their sizzling sisig..

4.8/5 star rating to be exact. Let me commend first how spacious this new Handuraw spot is. Kudos to the owner for giving priority to the parking area which is one of the unspoken problem in every establishments here in the Philippines. We only tried their handuraw & hawaiian pizza, plus the carbonara & mushroom soup together with some fruit drinks. (worth 1060pesos) Their food was really good. I recommend, if you will just order one round of pizza but wanting to try two flavors, try requesting for half of each flavor in one round. Very nice service and they got some good live band also. I could easily give this one a perfect rating but due to those mosquitoes interrupting and biting on the outer sides of their dining area, I couldn't, and just to give this place something to improve on to in the future. Highly recommended!

All I can say that the PIZZA is amazing! It is as delicious as promised and is a must! I can really recommend the pizza guys! It was a great night, and I really enjoy the bands.They also have an enormous parking area for cars and motorcycle. This is one of the best location for relaxing and drinking. Finally! Handuraw is back!  Truly a great Cebuano institution. Big place with PLENTY of parking. Pizza favorites include Sisig Scramble & the Handuraw Special.  Of course, this goes well with their iced cold beer! PRO TIP:  There are some live performances on weekends (which can vary from live bands to thematic karaoke sessions).  Best to check out their Facebook page for the updated schedule.

Probably popular among locals. But for tourists, very slow service and oily food. Our fish fry was burnt and salty. Chicken fried rice prepared with tiny pieces of chicken sausage and egg. Fried chicken seemed like outsourced from nearby fried chicken fast food outlet.

The food was good. It's what you usually expect of a filipino restaurant in this range. Prices are reasonable and affordable for a group. Liked their sisig. They also offer hot lemonade, which is a plus. They have live acoustic music. Good for groups. Service was okay. Not too many staff, though.

The pochero soup and the sizzling pochero doesnt seem to taste the way i remember it. The bone marrow of sizzling pochero is still frozen and serves them to us like a left over from the other customer. The pochero soup is full of magic sarap that ur lips is like injected with fillers. I dont recommend this place.

Ordered Pochero and Sotanghon Guisafo too salty.... Canceled my order. I was shocked and disappointed. Just paid the 2 rice PHP 50 each and mango shake PHP 130. High Blood go up when I tasted the food everything is so salty.... If you have High blood be careful of saltines if you have High blood. 🤒🥵☹️

Home of Cebu’s sizzling pochero! Service is good, staff very friendly and helpful. We had pochero soup and sizzling pochero, calamares, baked scallops, pinakbet and buttered chicken. All great!! Only thing for me is that the sizzling pochero is bit on the saltier side but that’s just personal taste as everyone else seemed to have enjoyed it. 6 people with the above mentioned food plus drinks, we paid just over 4k. Was it worth it? I would say so! 4 stars due to the saltiness of pochero plus the toilet being outside the restaurant and dirty.

Not your usual karenderia it more like a restaurant in itself. The place is nice it has a modern look in it. The food is great, they serve typical Filipino food that is sometimes best paired with beer.

It is a new place so there isnt much decors inside. plus the inside part is very closed and the voices of people talking echoes so it gets noisy. the outside part is more quiet and has fresh air.

Someone recomended me salt but as I tried their dishes, it was meh to be honest. We couldnt even finish the dish. When I say me I mean me and my guest's. It's the perfect spot to eat should you visit Anjo World. Amazing choices and the price are quite ok as you can even have filling meals for less than 100 pesos ($2). There's a pizza place that serves pizza for around 140 and if you wanna go cheap, you can have a lunch of squid balls, tempura, ngohiong with puso (hanging rice). I like it that they offer affordable foods options near a theme park.

This food park is in between Anjo World and Robinson's supermarket. I like that you can go out of Anjo and eat here. There is a variety of choices. The stalls are not even filled yet. The pizza we had at Aventino's tasted good! Drowned it with lemon juice at Lemon & Co. The place is spacious and clean, with restrooms. Some spots/tables are hot in the afternoon, though.

This place have been around for quite some time now. Lots of stalls inside but not that much good food choices yet. Plenty of potential. For the past years some establishments have come and go as well as some of my favorites (Habiba) but understandable since the pandemic was a force majeure. Not that much diner as of writing, Wednesday and around 6pm, but I don't know during peak hours. This place is also open during lunch times but not that much open shops. Very comfortable seating and tables. Very huge ceiling fans that keep the wind circulating despite the height of the ceiling. Cold and windy during the evening. Nice place all in all to dine, there are also some good shops around and whether they're good or not is relative to everybody. If you just came from Anjo World, this is your only place to dine.
