Visited here as i got curious of the place. There are many reviews of it resembling Greek architecture. It was nice on the outside, a treat to the eye for someone like me who has little fascination with structures like this. Inside is a huge collections of books, vases and figurines from all over the world. It serves as devotion of love to the creator's wife. I feel it rather an ostentatious display of wealth, as well as income generating establishment which somehow is not in harmony with essence of love. Well it's just me. I particularly admire the view of the city as you have a good vantage point. Many tourist when we visited. With staff that attends to parking. Parking is automatically charged, on top of entrance fee. I forgot to ask if entrance fee is free for drivers, other reviews say it is so please try to bargain on that so you can save. Construction behind the structure and workshop on the basement of the building. You can finish the visit in 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the visitor load. We didn't dine in the area so can't comment on that. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Go in the evening - totally worth it! Just visited Temple of Leah and I'm so glad we went in the evening instead of during the day. The lighting at night is absolutely beautiful and you don't have to deal with the heat from the sun, which is a huge plus since you'll be walking around and taking photos. The temple itself is stunning - it's like stepping into ancient Rome or Greece but you're still in Cebu. The white columns and statues look even more dramatic when they're lit up at night. The whole love story behind why it was built (a husband's tribute to his late wife) makes it even more touching when you're there. The view of the city from up there is amazing, especially with the city lights below. We spent a good amount of time just taking photos - every corner is Instagram-worthy honestly. The statues, the architecture, the lions - everything photographs really well with the evening lighting. Staff were friendly and the place was well-maintained. Entrance fee is reasonable for what you get to see. It wasn't too crowded when we went which made it nice and peaceful to walk around. My tip: definitely go late afternoon or evening. You'll be more comfortable, the photos turn out better, and the whole atmosphere is just nicer. Bring your camera and take your time exploring. Really cool place and a must-visit in Cebu!

The place is really nice and relaxing! The view is beautiful, and it’s definitely worth visiting if you want a peaceful getaway. Just a little tip — it’s best if you have your own car when going up since transportation can be quite pricey. In our experience, we didn’t have one, so we paid around ₱1,000 for a taxi from the city to the top. Thankfully, the driver waited for us and took us back to the condo afterward. Everything about the place was great — the ambiance, the view, and the overall experience. The floor was a bit wet that day because it was raining, but that’s understandable. It’s a good idea to check the weather before going so you can make the most of your visit. Overall, it’s a 5-star experience for us! We really enjoyed our time here, and I recommend renting a car so you can also explore nearby spots like Tops Cebu and other scenic places around the area. Perfect for a weekend trip or a quick escape from the city!

The temple’s design is heavily inspired by ancient Greek and Roman architecture, featuring massive pillars, intricate sculptures, and marble statues that give it a regal, old-world charm. Inside, it houses Leah’s lifetime collection of antiques, books, and personal belongings, making it both a museum and a love memorial. Came here during sundown but the city night scape of Cebu mesmerized me as it was shining so brightly in the night. The architecture is similar to Greek Pantheon kind of building. The story behind this building was also touching. Somehow the main lobby reminds me of Persona 5 boss battle scene haha 😅 They also have a mini souvenir shop that you can take a look for fridge magnets, notes and also pins but it’s quite expensive in my opinion.

It was a great experience. We enjoy the place,no much strict rules,unlike other museums we visited. Nostalgic vibe inside the house. Since it is the oldest ancestral house in the Philippines it doesn’t feel safe in the second floor,feels like the floor will break apart while walking on it. Inside the house are lot of old stuff that will amaze you,it’s a small house yet there’s so much inside it.

This is a national museum. The entrance fee is PHP 100 per head. The place has a lot of historic artifacts in it. The structure is dusty and in need of rehabilitation. The surrounding neighborhood isn't so safe if you are stranger. Some kids came up to us trying to sell pearls and mother of pearl. The house was built in a time when there were fewer buildings, so I is quite warm inside.

The ancestral house was really a nice old antique house that really has very old objects. I can't say exactly but you must be there to enjoy it and I won't be spoiling so I will not post all of the pics and videos.

It's said that this wooden house was built between 1675 and 1700. The entrance fee is only 100 pepo. It's worth the price, but it's better to stop by while on the way to other destinations because the area isn't very large. Numerous things are on display, but they don't give visitors much insight into how people used to live in the past.

I had an advanced celebration for my 16th birthday at the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, and it was an unforgettable experience! Stepping inside felt like traveling back in time, with its beautiful antique furniture and rich historical atmosphere. The tour was amazing, and we learned so much about the house and the inspiring history of the family who owned it. My family and I truly enjoyed every moment—it was worth every peso! I highly recommend visiting, and we will definitely be back.

It is housed within an octagonal stone kiosk, known as the Magellan's Cross Pavilion, constructed in 1834 during Spanish colonial rule using coral stone. The cross itself is believed to be the one planted by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan upon his arrival in Cebu on March 15, 1521, marking the beginning of Christianity in the Philippines. I remember when we were children we only read about it in books and we're taught about it in school. Now, we have the privilege to see it personally. Thank and Praises to God. Visiting Magellan’s Cross for the first time felt really special — like finally seeing a piece of history I’d only read about in textbooks come to life. Standing there beneath the iconic wooden cross inside the small chapel, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of awe and nostalgia. My childhood self, who used to memorize stories about Magellan and the first Christian baptism in the Philippines, was honestly so happy. The site may be small, but it carries such huge historical weight. The ceiling mural depicting the baptism of Rajah Humabon and Queen Juana adds to the experience — it’s simple yet powerful. I also love how the area is well maintained, with locals selling candles and sharing bits of history with visitors. It’s a short stop, but a meaningful one. Being there made me appreciate how much of our country’s story started right here in Cebu. Definitely worth visiting — not just for the history, but for that sense of connection to our roots.

Looking at the Magellan cross not only represents the faith of my dear religion Christianity, but also shows the beginning of colonialism by the Spaniards in 1521 using religion. During my visit to Cebu the Magellan cross symbolizes the beginning of Christianity of the Philippines in which our religion is still practiced today, but Spaniards use it for their own advantage for the Filipinos also. But today Christianity is not like that anymore and it's by pure faith and belief This cross represents both of these aspects and I was admired of the cross seeing it with my own eyes A much rather learning experience to me and my faith.

Interesting place. Visited on a Sunday and you could hear the mass in the adjacent place of worship. On this occasion it was closed the access to it so the photos are through a grated fence. Lots of children and touts trying to ask for money, but it is part of the culture and the charm of it all.

Great piece of history. Some negatives though are that it's in a place that's not really highlighted by is historical significance, the bar types that secure the cross is intrusive when taking pictures or viewing, and sellers hang around there negating the experience a little bit. Some alternatives would be to place less ornated bars, a security or police officer; especially since it's outside public office, and/or better explanation board to those that don't really know the importance of the object.

Closed during evening but you can still take photos outside. There are a lot of beggars in the area so careful. Sellers of ref magnets souviners at 7pcs. for only 100.00 pesos is available in the area. Across is a souvenir and pasalubong goods shop where you can a variety products of cebu.

We came here for a quick tour to check it out. The entry is 30 pesos per person without a guide. I highly recommend you hire a guide. They get paid in tips so you can give what you feel is fair. The guide really made the journey worth it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have understood the history and whatnot as there aren't many infomative signs inside. All in all, it was a lovely 15-20 mins tour. If you have some time to spare, it's worth going through it. We did enjoy the walk and information. Our tour guide was very sweet and took nice pictures of us.

The no BS review. Fort San Pedro is a nice small piece of history in the heart of Cebu. The place was clean and had a lot of cute and clean cats just roaming around. Good place for taking pictures especially in the afternoon. I think the place lacks a bit of storytelling. There are historical pieces but not much else.

This is a historical place which tourists and even locals could visit at least once. You can tour the place for more or less 30-45 minutes. I recommend you to wear comfortable attire as the place is not airconditioned. There is a gallery and souvenir shop as well. Entrance fee is affordable!

This is my second time at Sirao Garden; they added new photo spots for tourists. I would love to see more flowers instead of man-made photo areas. There are still plenty of flowers and plants, but I just liked the arrangement during my first visit.

The garden isn’t huge, but it’s nicely laid out with cute photo spots, props, and viewpoints. It’s perfect for a short visit or a chill weekend side trip. I recommend going early in the morning or late afternoon — the lighting is softer, and it’s not too crowded or hot. Just a few notes: the place can get busy, especially on weekends, and some areas feel more like photo zones than an actual garden. Also, bring water and wear comfy shoes since the paths can be uneven. Overall, it’s a lovely experience if you want a quick escape from the city and some great photos. We had a fun time at Sirao Garden! Medyo hindi perfect yung weather, but the view made up for it! The flowers and the whole garden vibe are super relaxing. Even if the weather wasn’t at its best, the place still felt so peaceful and calm. If you’re looking for a quick nature escape, this place is definitely worth visiting. Will definitely go back next time kapag mas sunny! 🌸🌿

There are lots of varieties of flowering plants and picturesque locations on the garden. We enjoyed our visit here. Early morning visits are highly recommended to avoid the heat of the sun. You have to pay extra to access the good toilets. A portable toilet is available at the lower part of the garden, but inconvinient to use for women.

This place ia pretty far up the mountain from the busy parta of the city. When you get here you are met with so many native flowers. It is really quite amazing. This is a place to go to on a day trip through the city. Bring your boots, paths here are stepping blocks. Entry is PHP 100 per head. Kids under 2 are free.

While in Cebu, I kept seeing stunning photos of Sirao Gardens popping up online—definitely an Instagram paradise. So I added it to my must-see list, and I’m glad I did. The gardens are filled with colorful blooms, quirky sculptures, oversized signs, and several themed installations like the red “LOVE” letters, windmills, giant hand platform, and fairy tale-style structures. It’s a very visual place and great for couples, solo travelers, and families looking to take creative shots with a scenic mountain backdrop. I wouldn’t say it’s a standalone destination to build a whole day around, but if you’re exploring the highlands around Cebu—like Temple of Leah or the flower farms—it fits in perfectly as a fun, lighthearted stop. Entry fees are affordable, and there are multiple photo zones to enjoy. If you’re going solo, I recommend bringing a selfie stick or tripod since many of the photo spots are best captured from a distance. Overall, Sirao Gardens is a cheerful spot that adds a bit of charm to any day trip itinerary.

This is a fantastic house museum that once belonged to one of Cebu's leading families, the Gorordos. The entrance fee includes a tablet audio/video guide, narrated by a member of the family who once lived in the house. The lower level is mostly exhibits of Cebu and some artefacts belonging to the family. The upper section is really where you see the house as it was when it was lived in. The exhibits are lovingly curated featuring some beautiful furnishing including antique and other period furniture. The house even has a private chapel with beautiful devotional objects. A great place to visit if you like house museums.

Highly recommend a tour with a guide. It was a very informative and interactive tour with my guide Jerome. He pointed out many details and stories about the house and the lifestyles that I wouldn’t have noticed on my own. And even I was the only visitor in the tour, he made sure I had a good one hour tour with loads of information.

One of the most beautiful ancestral homes that existed even today here in Cebu City. A wonderful experience for wanderer like me who look forward seeing historical sites within the city being preserved a century ago. Here is a home in those days that everytime you enter it's ground you will be amaze, in awe and appreciate the homes of the 18th century Philippines.

A great experience to walk through Cebuano history. The exhibits on the first floor are breathtaking, especially the images of saints and agricultural tools. They also have a massive interactive touchscreen map in there which you can use to view Cebu City through the eras. You can also see the modes of transportation here over Cebuano history like carabaos, horses, trains, cars. The second floor is where they store most of the house things like the furniture, a nice sala mayor, kitchen, dining room, study room, oratorio, and even a pretty spacious azotea. There's also a connected Bo's Coffee on the other house and a souvenir shop if y'all want to buy something. Unfortunately, we got stranded here during our visit for more than 2 hours due to heavy rainfall and we cannot even traverse through the paths and the roads here since all are drenched in the flood. And I'm talking about dirty, murky flood that came from the sewers and canals. In the premises of the museum too it easily gets flooded by rain and you have to wait for the staff to pump them or risk wading through the water. They really should fix that up and especially the city government too regarding the roads that lead here, a lot of people navigate through this area and it's easily flooded which could lead to a whole lot more problems. Overall, a nice museum experience, even if it was partly ruined by the rain and flood.

The heritage of Cebu Monument is a centerpiece of Parian Park in Cebu. It is an amazing sculpture depicting important historical events of Cebu. It's impressive and very detailed. Location is not the best though as parking can be difficult and some vendors keep on following you with what they are selling. There were also children begging for money. Be careful of your things. You need to have a guide to explain the details of each sculpture if you are really interested with the monument and Cebu's history.

This monument shows important moments in Cebu's history. This place is quite small and simple, but I think it's worth visiting. I strongly recommend you go there in the evening, maybe right after 5:00 p.m. (It depends on the season.) because it's beautifully lit up. But please note that the area isn't very safe—it's located near a slum.

The Heritage of Cebu Monument is a 360-degree sculpture which depicts all the significant historical events that shaped what is Cebu today. The most notable is the cross at the center of the sculpture which symbolizes the birth of Christianity in the Philippines.

There is not much information about what this monument is or many details about it at the monument. There are at least to plaques with information about this place. However, it is a cool monument to see. I do recommend seeing it, but after doing some research on this. It was recommended as a sightseeing place without much context. I was the only one here, but I went during the day and during the work week. I walked here from another tourist spot, several minutes away. I did not realize it was a dead zone for Grab. Be mindful of that if you want to go elsewhere by vehicle and you did not bring your own.

Lovely place to pray and just escape from the busy city. Parking area is huge compared to most city churches. Maintainance is ongoing in some areas as well. It looks like this structure wasn't hit so bad with typhoon Odette as with the other Churches. When we visited here, there was also a wedding ceremony going on. Congrats to the couples and best life ahead.

When I was studying in Cebu City and later on during my seafaring journey, this place of worship was always on my list of must-visit destinations. However, the guard seemed unhappy about it, so I decided to take photos only outside the church.

After the mass, I took some time to explore the cathedral and its surroundings. I was amazed by the attention to detail in every corner, from the intricate decorations to the well-preserved artifacts. The cathedral also has a museum that showcases the history of Cebu and the role the cathedral played in it, which I found to be very informative and interesting. One of the imposing remnants of the Spanish heritage in the City of Cebu. A good place for a solemn devotion to the almighty. The whole place is clean and not so crowded on regular days. This historical religious marker is worthy of a visit.

A hidden gem on a street named for the incredible man that made the sanctuary possible. Very educational. A small operation with a big footprint. Worth the trouble to find it.

A classic Cebuano must-visit place not only because it is the only butterfly sanctuary in the city but also because the owner, Maestro Julian Jumalon, is one of the rare lepido-artists in the world. Professor Julian is the first Cebuano (but not really a Cebuano) graduate of the UP Fine Arts in Diliman, an artist and a scientist. Maam Maida, Professor Julian's daughter, a known figure in the academe, now manages and runs the place. Best to call ahead to make reservations.

Educational and informative. This sanctuary showcases the mixture of raw talent in painting, nature, and science. Madam Jumalon shares her extensive knowledge of the well-loved butterflies and the socially-overlooked moths. In her words, they should be loved equally as butterflies work the day shift and moths-- night shift. A very charming, intelligent, and passionate lady; she is the daughter of the late Prof Julian Jumalon who studied and collected butterflies and moths as a hobby. He repurposed broken butterfly wings to create a different type of artwork -to which he coined- lepido-mosaic. You can admire the art more up close and see how the wings were glued to create portraits. Pro tip: visit the morning after a rainy night and you'll experience a magical moment with the butterflies! Middle-Earth-esque.

The place has a long and rich history. I wholeheartedly advise everyone interested in learning anything about butterflies to visit this location. There is a ton of trivia and myths you can discover about these species. The location is also spotless and quite relaxing. Make sure you won't be leaving any garbages behind when you arrive.

It's one of the best experience to be here. It's not just to visit and see butterflies, you will definitely learn about butterflies. I was lucky, the daughter of the founder of this garden was the one guiding us. 🦋

One of the best experiences in Cebu City. Lucky enough to be the first tourist led by the student interns from the Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School back in March, a very well prepared and organised tour. Madame Jumalon, the daughter of late Prof Jumalon, gave an incredible introduction and her insights on local butterfly species as well as her late father's one of its kind in the world, Lepido Mosaic artwork by upcycling butterfly wings. The sanctuary is not very big and is divided into three parts, the outdoor garden for butterfly, the indoor exhibition for butterfly specimen and the art gallery for lepido mosaic artwork (where photos are not allowed). You could spend an hour or two inside, definitely worth a visit, especially for those who are into ecology and butterfly. They were very friendly and helped me hired a Grab to catch the ferry when my phone somehow didn't work.

Late Prof Jumalon was Cebu’s rennaissance man— an innovative artist of Lepido-Mosaics, a self taught etymologist whose works can be found in Smithsonian, and an environmental advocate. And yet, the humility of his legacy is celebrated through the meticulous care of organic artifacts that Madam Jumalon keeps alive in this sanctuary. Hopefully you too can find your heart and mind inspired by visiting this gem tucked away in outskirts of this beautiful city.

The museum itself is very old and contains artifacts free dating the 1600s in the 1700s the way everything inside the museum is as well-kept the people there care for the items as there is just so much love and appreciation for the Filipino culture that I have been introduced. Thanks to this museum, all the way from Ferdinand Magellan to current day the guides were able to talk to me even in English because I did not know cebuano or Tagalog and I answered all my questions. The museum itself is very clean and it’s not hard to navigate through the whole entire couple of buildings and a lot of the things there you will see surprise you. Couldn’t be more happier with a place to choose to visit in Cebu.

Fantastic little museum about Cebu Island from prehistory through WW2. The permanent collection is three large rooms, lots of artifacts and good descriptions. Also have three small rooms for rotating exhibitions (mostly about minor topics of only local interest). 50 pesos entrance.

Almost all section in the building at the inner compound (back) was closed due to renovation. The museum itself is small (expect not more than 1 hour) and old (building wise, and how the exhibits are presented). One good thing about the museum is that it’s presenting a detailed information about Cebu and mostly in chronological order. However, this museum spend too much effort in explaining Magellan, what he did until how he died (there’s a room just for himself). Wish that it explains more about the people of Cebu, what makes them unique etc.

I'm not from Cebu but it's exciting to know the history behind their culture. Great environment and offers various galleries to visit and if you're a student you can get discounts for their entrance fee.

It was fun to see some of the history of Cebu and the Philippines. It would be nice if they provided more information about what you are seeing than just little cards. But it was free to visit and it's a neat little place to learn about some of the history. They have parking also there if you go down the little side road and honk your horn. Everyone was very friendly.

We’re a couple from Bacolod and visited Terrazas de Flores Botanical Garden for the first time — and it won’t be the last! The ambiance instantly won us over. It’s such a beautiful and relaxing place to chill, surrounded by nature and a peaceful vibe. What really surprised us was the food. The presentation was impeccable, and the taste matched perfectly — a real treat that elevated the whole experience. On top of that, the staff were extremely well trained and treated us like gold, which made us feel so special. Terrazas de Flores is the kind of spot you’d want to linger in, and we’re so glad we finally experienced it. Highly recommended!

No entrance to the garden which is a plus. We tried their truffle pasta and truffle pizza and trust that you will not be disappointed with the taste. Their restaurant screams elegance and fine dining as well. They have wifi and have separate rooms for those who wish to dine alfresco or with air conditioning. We strolled on the garden afterwards, the place was huge! Sadly they close at 7pm which is a bit early since the place looks good during night time. Hope they’ll extend their hours soon.

A uniquely beautiful Garden of flower terraces, flower arches, bridges and waterfalls. Huge and plenty of space to roam around. Cozy and relaxing that you would want to stay for hours. Their food is delicious and inexpensive! Ideal for family bonding, friends get together and romantic dates. And its not far from the city center.

This place is blessed with stunning views, a beautiful garden and a small restaurant offering a nice balance of western and Philippino food. The time we attended was during the quiet season and we had the restaurant all to ourselves. I look forward to visiting again.

Hands down, one of the best places I've been to during our Cebu trip. Lots of greens, the plants around the place are pretty, it's also labeled so you'd have an idea for your next garden addition. The view is stunning as well. Consider this place first, before the nearby restos with lots of ratings. The vibe is immaculate, and the food is delicious. It is very high up though, the parking can get super tricky if you have a wide car.

Visiting the Minor Basilica of the Holy Child in Cebu was a heartwarming experience for me. The moment I stepped inside, I felt a quiet sense of peace. Seeing the image of the Santo Niño up close filled me with awe—it’s amazing to think how many people have prayed here for hundreds of years. I spent a few moments in silence, just praying and thanking God for everything. It felt comforting, like I was being embraced by His presence. Watching other people light candles and whisper their prayers also reminded me how faith connects us all, no matter where we come from. That short visit left me feeling lighter and more grateful. It was a gentle reminder to trust more, pray more, and appreciate the blessings I often take for granted. Simple, but very meaningful.

The Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu is one of the most beautiful and spiritually moving places I’ve ever visited. Stepping inside feels like entering a sacred part of Philippine history — it’s humbling to think this is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, built where the image of the Santo Niño was found in 1565. The atmosphere is peaceful yet powerful. You can really feel the devotion of the people — from the long lines of devotees lighting candles to those praying quietly inside the basilica. I also love how the blend of old and new architecture tells the story of faith that has endured for centuries. The open courtyard, the sound of prayers, and the smell of candles all add to that sense of reverence. It was an emotional experience for me. Seeing the Santo Niño up close reminded me of my childhood prayers and how faith can stay constant through time. Whether you’re religious or not, visiting the Basilica gives you a deep appreciation for Cebu’s culture, history, and unshakable faith.

Shorts, slippers,sleeveless aint allowed .There is a rental for pants tho we just went around and had the mass outside the grilled fence. A decade ago the place was open to public.no barricade. Bushling souvenir shops, delicacies from local are abundant around the area. Well organized and manned with traffic Lgu organizer. We were guided by vendors how we can easily hop a bus ride going to SM.

Sto. Niño De Cebu is one of the best tourist spot here in cebu city. But more importantly, you need to respect the culture of cebu because its one of sacred church not a public tourist spot. Additionally, when a priest is talking please refrain yourself taking a pictures. To show a respect is not a demand but to show what kind of person you are in a strange place.

arrived there mid-day, crazy hot outside but weren't allowed in (must wear long pants). big crowd outside more like a market than a church. the architure has no special design or size & entice no admiration. we left after 5 min.

During my recent visit to the Basilica del Santo Niño with a friend, we experienced a deeply troubling incident. A stray black dog — which I had earlier seen being mistreated by a guard — bit my friend inside the church. There were multiple witnesses, including three guards and a nun. I had to step in to get the dog to release her, and my friend was bleeding significantly. What was most upsetting was not just the attack itself, but the response. No one offered assistance. No first aid kit was brought, no one inquired about her condition, and no staff member took initiative to help or even show concern. As a sacred and historic site, I would expect far greater care and professionalism from those responsible for visitor safety. The lack of empathy and preparedness we witnessed was alarming and disappointing. I sincerely hope the Basilica leadership takes this as a wake-up call to review their safety measures, provide proper training to staff, stock each guard and guard station with a first aid kit, and ensure compassion is shown to anyone in distress. Visitors deserve to feel safe and cared for in such a revered place.

A PLACE FOR BUYING DRIED FISH, SQUIDS, LONGANISA, and Etc. Always check prices on other stalls. Cheap doesn't always mean it is a good buy. Also compare the quality of the goods before buying. Ask if your store of choice is providing vacuum sealed packaging. Otherwise, the smell of dried fish will be on your vehicle. Since the products are exposed for customer's inspection, it is likely that some insects or. even maggots will be on your packed danggit or pusit as well. Some part of the market is not clean. Some stalls have dogs lying on the walkway and flies are all over the place jumping from one tuyo to the other.

This is the best place to shop for pasalubong items coming from Cebu. It houses various stores that sells dried seafood products mostly coming from Bantayan Island. Dried Danggit, Nokus (pusit), fish tapa, fish tocino, and many others are found here. Aside from this delicacy here, they are also selling ampao, masareal, dried mangoes, otap and many more.

Taboan Public Market is a bustling grocery market in Cebu City known for its wide selection of dried fish, as well as local pasalubong items and small pinkish chorizos. Some of the vendors are friendly and not pushy, offering reasonable prices, especially if you compare options and bargain slightly. The market operates daily from early morning until evening. This is one of the last stop of any people on vacation in Cebu to buy some Pasalubong. The area is clean and of course it is smelly, because of dried fishes available. They are also selling ampao, dried mangoes, otap and many more, but it is much better to buy in other places.

Don’t buy on the store in the middle (right side) before entering market area. Bought all dried goodies with INSECTS, MAGGOTS and MOLDS!!! Sobrang scammer! all my relatives are excited to have it in singapore. Supposed to be the highlight of the trip bringing these goodies to Singapore. all went to trash can! This park is not big and many facilities are not suitable for very young children. I like the 5D theater, and the other facilities were fun for the kids. The snow park recommends bringing your own socks/gloves/earmuffs, otherwise you need to buy them from them. I think the ticket price is not too expensive, and you can have a lot of fun in this small park in about three hours.

Anjo World Park is an amazing place for thrill-seekers and families! The rides are exciting, and there are plenty of attractions for all ages to enjoy. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid long lines, especially on weekends. There’s also a food park outside with many affordable food choices, perfect for a quick and delicious meal after a fun day. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience—definitely worth a visit!

I visited with friends on a Sunday and had a fantastic time exploring the rides and attractions. While there aren't as many rides as in larger amusement parks, the experience was well worth the price. The wait times for the major attractions were only about 10-20 minutes, which we found very manageable. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming for both families and groups of friends. Highly recommend visiting!

This location is well worth the cost, and I had an unforgettable experience there. Everything went smoothly while we explored the facility and rode the thrilling rides, and the staff was quite nice. The scenery of the city riding the 200-foot ferris wheel is simply amazing. I suggest going there during weekdays as they have fewer customers during the week but it depends.

It's our first time here and we got here late in the afternoon so we decided to choose the three rides ticket but it's still worth it. We've tried the ferris wheel and the rocket ride thing. There's more rides to try plus snow world which gives us more reasons to come back another time here. Plus there are mini games as well which are fun to play.

I had an awesome time at Anjo World! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. My fear of heights was definitely put to the test 🥹 it was such an unforgettable experience! Although, I did end up throwing up from all the dizziness. I’m probably never riding those again, but honestly, I still had a great time on the other rides!🎠🎡

The place is really and literally a world of fun. It has great amenities. The place is very safe and secure. Many fun rides to try, and make you have a roller coaster feeling. You can also play in their arcade area and win amazing prices such as souvenirs and foods. Moreover, foods in their are also great and affordable. The best part is the snow world. Where you can try the feeling of having a snow even if its fake. Best experience ever. I wanna go back there again with my girlfriend and family in the future.

A nice ocean park to have in Cebu with so many fish varieties and fascinating bird show. The price may be high for locals, a good deal can be found in Klook, and buy ahead to reduce being in line and the waiting time The food available in the park are pretty standard snacks and coffee shop is also available. The restaurant can be pricey. The staff are excellent The place is disabled friendly. Overall a nice activity to go to with family and SM is just across the street

On my Second Visit to Cebu, I went to Cebu Ocean Park which is my first ocean park and the best ocean park in my experience. We got to see many different fishes, birds, sharks, snakes, penguins and other wildlife. A perfect place and opportunity to picture taking and to admire the wildlife there. There were also events there the Bird Show and the Feeding both of these events were nice and the takecarers took great practice and care for the animals properly. There were also dining establishments, souvenirs, picture takers, snacks, and more. And all for the entry fee of 700. Even though it was a great place to learn, admire and picture it only took 2-3 hours to finish everything. It was that really exciting but it was mesmerizing and learning. A great place, one of the best Ocean Parks in the country and could come back on my next visit to Cebu someday.

It felt like they were trying to milk as much money as they could. I would've been inclined to spend extra money if it hadn't felt almost "forceful." It was a refreshing experience in that I could see some exotic or rare animals but it didn't feel as magical as I expected. Maybe I was expecting too much. I would recommend it for a family with kids. The souvenir shop had cute and funny merchandise so hang onto your money until you exit and see it.

my first time coming to Cebu Ocean Park with my gf! we went on a weekday, I wanted to buy the tickets in advanced thru Klook but in the end we bought the tickets on the day itself. We queued about 10mins+ to get the tickets! tbh it wasnt that expensive i forgot how much was the tickets. when we walk and enter the entrance, we thought it was a small ocean park because we walk in circle for 2-3 times till we read the signboard and follow it properly till we got into the big oceanarium thing. despite it being on a weekday (wednesday afternoon) it was still crowded full of people/tourist!! we also love the bird show, some of the bird activities, like training the birds to put trash into respective recycle bins, it was similar to Singapore’s former Jurong Bird Park that i went to. i enjoyed my time here because of my company hehe great company = great time. enjoy and had fun here with my cebuana gf hehehe so adorable

After messaging Cebu Ocean Park’s page to ask about their baggage counter (they replied promptly—great service!), we headed there right after checkout. Entrance was ₱700 per person, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a world of wonder. We had lunch inside the park while watching the feeding of the fishes—a surprisingly calming and delightful experience. The kids and my husband were thrilled exploring the exhibits, from vibrant marine life to exotic birds and more. But the highlight? Feeding the penguins! It was our first time seeing penguins up close, and the joy on our faces said it all. Gentle, curious, and absolutely adorable—they made our visit unforgettable. Cebu Ocean Park gave us more than just a fun day—it gave us a beautiful memory as a family. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore, learn, and laugh together.

The experience was truly remarkable! When compared to Manila Ocean Park, this place stands out significantly for its superior quality and extensive variety of animals. In addition to the impressive collection of aquatic creatures, they also feature a wide range of land animals and birds, offering a more comprehensive and diverse experience for visitors.

It’s located at SM Seaside Complex, Mambaling, Cebu City, Cebu 6000. Directions and public-transport info are available on their site. It is described as the largest oceanarium/marine-theme park in the Philippines. The park has several themed zones: e.g., “Seven Seas”, “Jungle Trek”, “Creepy Critters”. A major feature: a Deep Tank Lagoon with a 7.2-metre deep tank and 360° tunnel view. Special experiences: “Stingray Encounter” – swim or interact with stingrays. “SeaTREK” – helmet dive walk-through underwater environment. “Croc Cage” – an adrenaline attraction with a crocodile lair. Fish spa, lory-feeding (birds), etc.

We only had two weeks of vacation, so I carefully planned and arranged all our hotel stays and activities to make the most of our short time. This was the last hotel and resort I booked before heading back to the U.S. I’ve previously stayed at places like Waterfront, Sheraton, Radisson Blu, Slam’s Garden Resort in Malapascua, and Cabana Beach Club in Moalboal—and never once did I encounter accommodation issues. Those hotels and resorts provided the quality service and comfort I paid for. Unfortunately, this place failed to do the same. Despite repeatedly requesting a room on a lower floor due to traveling with senior parents and having several pieces of luggage and we will be staying for 3 days (as this was our final stop before flying home), we were assigned to a room on the third floor—with no elevator. I explained the situation multiple times, yet the staff made no effort to accommodate us. Instead, they were quick to suggest paying extra for a room change. It was incredibly disappointing to experience such insensitivity from the receptionist—by far the worst front desk service I’ve encountered. At all the other hotels, I was always informed of our room location beforehand, and staff made sure it was suitable. That was not the case here. In the end, I had no choice but to pay additional fees just to move my parents to a lower floor for their comfort. The only bright spot was the helpful luggage staff and the nice pool area, which gave us a bit of joy as we wrapped up our vacation as a family. That alone is the reason I’m giving this place any stars at all.

Place is great for children but amenities is quite old. We purchased a day use only. Got their pavilion cottage for 2000 pesos hoping for a great room service but not that great. It has a tv but no remote and told us it’s broken. The sliding door is too hard to open and close. Just fair service.

*1/5 stars* This resort isn't the best choice if you're looking for a relaxing stay, especially with kids. The rooms are definitely not soundproof, and noise can be a big issue. We experienced loud drinking sessions from the nearby room that went past midnight, making it hard to sleep. Not ideal for families or those seeking a peaceful getaway.

(Our stay was at their exclusive rooms) Let's start with their rooms. Their rooms are nice, cold, and have comfortable beds. They also have a smart tv with yt and netflix. Their aircon remote doesnt really work in our room, i dont know why. The keycards they gave to use for our room didn't work so we had to call them to get switched (which they did asap). Their hairdryer in the cr was pretty ew tho. When i held it, it was sticky and it seemed to have a yellow stain on it. Luckily, no one used it in our room. Then there's the walls. The walls are definitely not soundproof. We could hear the people next door especially whenever they move a chair or something drops that make a loud sounds in their room. Atleast it's not to the point where we could hear people's tv or voices. And now their services. Their services are good overall. The only thing is that they dont call you to dish out your plates and stuff in your rooms. They should call to ask to dish out. Then also, if you have complementary water for your rooms. They should give you without asking. (We had complementary water in a bottle, but some of us didnt know so they couldn't receive it). And also, i tried looking for a menu online and in our room but there was none, so we had to call them for a menu. But all they did was let us take a picture of the menu, so i think its alright. Thats basically it for service. And for location, there's no problem. Theres even a bar connected to the place if you want to have fun.

We recently visited cebu westown lagoon expecting a relaxing getaway, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. From the moment we arrived, the staff's unwelcoming demeanor set the tone for the rest of our stay. What really stood out was when they repeatedly emphasized the cut-off time, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Despite this, we tried to make the most of our time at the resort. However, the initial impression lingered throughout our visit. If the staff could work on providing a warmer welcome and more hospitality, it would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests.

We had our team building activity and we were looking for a nearby place. Found this place within the city about 3km away from the office. Everyone was very excited and enjoyed the pool area. Although it wasn't that deep at max 4ft, but it was ok. Check out the place and the food is just right. Recommended.

The worst hotel worldwide I’ve encountered in my life! I sent an email a week ago requesting for my dad’s room to be closer to exit due to his medical conditions and mobility issues but no response despite sending another reminder days after! I requested for the free breakfast to be provided in advance as my dad cannot take it due to his flight at 5am. Hotel says no that can’t be done as per policy and it’s a free breakfast can’t be refunded either. There is no such thing as free! That’s part of what we have paid and we can even quantify the cost of that breakfast easily based on your restaurants menu. How inhospitable this hotel is!! You should not be in a hospitality business to begin with!

Nice spot. Very beautifully created, the stairs, the flooring - it's all gorgeous and fits the ambiance. The view is super nice. But there is not much to do here but eat. I strongly recommend making this part of a larger day where you visit some of the other Great sites up this mountain like Sirao and Little Kyoto. That way you make better use of the long drive up here. Half hour looking at views, then get food, then go to the other sites!

Perfect spot for complete views of the city. Come in the evening to see the city lights in full effect. Place offers 360° views of the surrounding area (although is an additional cost to to the top floor for the full 360° view) There also lots of cafe's and restaurant to grab food or drinks. Can get to TOPS by taxi or bus. There is a bus route that leaves from IT park Cost is 200 peso's *in cash

Our family visit to Tops Cebu was a lovely escape into the hills. We arrived around 6 PM, riding their shuttle bus—fare was ₱200 per person, which already included the entrance fee. The ride was smooth and scenic, setting the tone for a peaceful evening. Though we missed the sunset and mountain views, the city lights more than made up for it. As night fell, Cebu sparkled below us like a sea of stars. For an extra ₱50 each, we stepped onto Sky360, where the view felt even more magical—quiet, vast, and full of wonder. It was a simple yet memorable moment for our family. If you're looking for a serene night spot with a panoramic cityscape, Tops Cebu is worth the visit.

Great views, many food places. Cozy specially at night. Nice to visit during the day if the sun's not out or weather is not too hot, more people come during the mid-afternoon and early evenings. Restaurants and bars open just before lunch. You may get dizzy coming here if you don't like winding roads but its worth it.

It is ok. Overpriced restaurants, you get stamped like you are going to a night club (it took 2 days to get rid of the ink lol.) Great views but nothing much otherwise. Oh and if you want to get to the top of it, you need to pay additional.

Tops Lookout Over the last few years the hills above Cebu City in the Visayas region of the Philippines has become the location of several tourist draws that provides the visitor a different, exciting experience as well as a respite from the congested, busy city life downtown. Among the popular destinations is an observatory deck that allows a panoramic view of the neighboring cities of Mandawe and Cebu and also the nearby Mactan Island. There are also eateries and cafés around.

I visited this place because it's popular with tourists and foreigners in Cebu. Arriving before sunset, I was able to take photos and enjoy a panoramic view of Cebu. Admission is mandatory, but the lounge at the top costs 50 pesos.

To get here you need to have a private vehicle or you can pay for a motor driver to take you 200 per way. We did got drivers from JY. The drivers will wait for a charge, but we decided to risk it and try and find one so we didn't have to pay extra. We got their phone number in case there were no drivers. Overall the views were great at night, the pool for adults was small and more geared for kids. Fun to be in the water while seeing the view of Cebu. 100 entrance fee and 150 for swimming. We hiked across the swimming area to a stairs that go up to a plaza for even better views. It could be better maintained but overall a great experience!

The accommodation is really nice because it is child-friendly, with incredible views of the city, and is very comfortable. However, I do not like that their pool has limited time during the weekdays (only until 6PM max), and on the next day, it opens at 9AM, if I will only be checking in overnight, I am not able to enjoy their pool usage because of this limited time. Furthermore, I also don't like that children using the pool are still being charged even when the adults have an existing accommodation. I just hope they'd just include the children in the pool usage without any extra charge, and the pool is open until 10PM not just in the weekend but even in weekdays as well. Thank you.

Mountain View Nature’s Park has been our go-to venue for our company’s annual Thanksgiving party, and it never disappoints! The place offers a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views, fresh air, and plenty of space for team activities and celebrations. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are well-maintained. It’s the perfect place to unwind, bond, and celebrate with colleagues while enjoying nature. Highly recommended for company events, family gatherings, or just a refreshing getaway!

Our team building was held in this location. The view is truly lovely and awe-inspiring. It seems to me that their preference is for their customers to schedule an appointment first, or rather, first come, first served. There are limited tables and chairs, especially during weekends. The entrance fee is both reasonable and affordable for all individuals. I think it was around 100-150 pesos. You have the option to bring your own food and grill it. Unfortunately, there is no overnight stay.

the view is nice, but the service is bad, we tried to inquire how much each food meal, but they already ordered right away, even though we are in the midst of asking how much, but still insisted.

Me and my friends love it here so much because they would only charge you ₱150 for the entrance fee and then you can bring whatever you want already. Tables and chairs good for 4 is only for ₱300 and you can already have a full day access on the pool. There is no corkage fee so you can bring whatever food and drinks that you want. They also have a karaoke that all of the guests can use, you just need ₱5 for each song. They have a lot of bathrooms and toilets for you to change and their water is cold because its uphill! Its worth it. We really love it here!

We had an quick tour as we went late that day. You might be a bit confused when Google map tells you have arrived the destination because it leads you to the entrance of a warehouse. The old house is inside the warehouse belonging to Ho Tong Hardware company. It would be interesting to learn the history and stories of the house owners who run the Ho Tong company as well, but we didn’t have enough time for it.

Formerly used as Jesuit mission house. After paying the entrance fee. A guide, who was a student studying tourism proceeded to walk me through the museum in about 2 minutes, without really explaining anything. Clearly she was in a rush and I just said I would go at my own pace through the museum when she finished her tour. Inside you'll find an entire floor dedicated to the history of Cebu and a room dedicated to Jesuits and their mission in Philippines. The upper floor is mostly collections of items belonging to the present owners, who own the building along with the metals business. Clearly the family were of Chinese origin judging from the items. I thought the displays were okay and the information a bit too dense, especially when you have to read it in hot and humid conditions.

A surprising find, the entrance is through a hardware shop. That is just because the owner of the shop is the owner of the museum. The museum itself is quite interesting,lots of rooms and panels to read. You could easily spend 2 -3 hours there, if not for the sniffling heat and humidity. There are fans in almost every room but it did nothing to prevent the humidity. Well I guess, welcome to the Philippines 😀

This museum doesnt look like a museum from the outside because it is beside a warehouse. It is a guided tour by a representative of the musuem. The tour guide is hospitable to guest. You can see a lot of antique inside the museum dating back to the time of Chinese and Spaniards in the PH. If you are in to vintage things this musuem is for you

Very interesting must visit. Down the road is the Yap-San Diego ancestral house which is also a must see. Take a cab or grab car cause no parking available.

2nd time to be here. This time on a guided tour. They also have a small airconditioned cafe where you can relax after the tour. Most of the infrastructure were still from the origininal 1700s house. The place was bought to be used as a warehouse but it was later discovered that the old house inside was from the 1700s making it one of the oldest house in the country. You can go back and read the posts after the tour if you want check on specific details. The place is not packed with antiques unlike the Yap ancestral house. The owner has a collection of ball pythons also!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the place. The house was amazing, with the current owner's personal collection of antique items on display, but it's too bad that some parts are inaccessible or already destroyed. Tip: Make sure to bring your own portable fan since it's very hot.

this place used to be nice way back 2014 but now they close it. With so many things to see inside.

Such a lousy and bad excuse of a zoo. The number of cages and aquariums can together be counted on your two hands, Poorly maintained and too small for some animals. And the turtle jar is a turtle stew boiling and stinking in the sun. I feel sorry for them. :'(

There's an adventure jungle experience inside and a restaurant designed with a huge aquarium while you dine in.

Buwakan ni Alejandra is such a beautiful spot to visit — perfect for photos and just chilling. The garden is filled with an awesome collection of plants and flowers that make every corner picture-worthy. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the scenery, and take in the fresh mountain air. The staff are very accommodating, and one of them even helped us take photos and videos — and he was actually really good at it! That extra effort made our visit even more memorable. Definitely worth the trip if you’re looking for a relaxing and photo-friendly escape.

A truly amazing, almost hidden gem in the lush mountains of Cebu. Absolutely filled with beautiful flower displays of all breeds and colours, there is a rainbow path with stairs and an amazing raised rainbow walkway too! If you're lucky enough to visit in the bright Cebu sunshine you're in for a photoshoot opportunity like no other, I don't think I've taken more photos anywhere else but here. The journey to and from the garden is very pleasant indeed, winding roads lined with palm trees, grass paths, flower pots and traditional Filipino village houses. A place not to miss.

Recommended! Bring some anti mosquito repellent. Though it's far from the city the long drive is all worthy. The place is beautiful. Not recommended to seniors. Ask the staff to take your picture. They are professional on taking pic.

Beautiful garden on the side of a mountain. If you have mobility issues please take its location into consideration. Their is a restaurant and snacks available should you come hungry or want a refresher before leaving.

You’ll fall in love with the breathtaking views at Buwakan ni Alejandra! 🌸 The place is blooming with vibrant, well-kept flowers — perfect for that wholesome laag and sweet photos with your loved ones.

It was great. The staff were polite and accommodating.(The comfort room had a long queue though. I hope they increase the number of the female cubicle. Another thing I hope for is a clear exit path. One time we pose on a photo dedicated spot for a picture but then some people who'd like to exit suddenly appear from the background one by one and ruin the moment.)

Pool is NOT maintained. There's literally mucus everywhere. Rooms are great tho. Better stay away from the pool.

Late review, but really had fun here. unfortunately your not allowed to bring your own action cameras but they will take photos of you and give you certificates of completion after the experience.

Excellent view of Cebu. Worth the money. Completed the zip line and the coaster. Could do with a bit of a clean and tidy. Bit grubby. Windows need a good clean. Maintenance required for the binoculars.

Good to experience. But not too adventurous. All are simple. We tried 3- Skywalk, Edge Coaster and Zipline. Skywalk for photography good. Zipline is very short distance. Edge Coaster is thrilling. These people are business minded, they don't allow any of your gadgets and charge you for photos. Overall review is ok Good & Value for money.

The lift only tilts 50-55 degrees, but it was one of the most thrilling experiences I've had! Comes with beautiful 360 views of the city. Worth every peso!

This is an amazing place. My family decides to try this skywalk amazing experience. It's kinda scary when you're on top but it's all worth it. My tip is you try this with your friends and family before dinner. A group experience is a lot memorable. This is a good thing to try to conquer your fears in heights 👍🏻

Sky experience did not disappoint. Very well priced, get the package and do a few things. We did the sky walk, edge coaster and the zip line. In that order! Think we paid 1000 peso each for all three. You can pay more and do the climbing wall on the roof. But as we were there during the night we decided against it.

It was okay, but I expected a little bit more out of it. Definitely some nice foods there, the lechon stalls are good. Also the pans with the pig brains (yes sounds weird, but it is delicious), where you dip the sticky rice in are great.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carbon Night Market is a fun place to check out loads of food stalls, plenty of variety, and a really lively atmosphere. The lights and music give it a nice buzz, and it’s easy to spend an hour or two wandering around trying different things. But honestly, there are a few downsides. It gets really busy, especially on weekends, so walking around can feel like wading through a crowd. Finding a table is almost impossible unless you’re lucky, and some stalls have really long waits. The food I tried was decent, but not all of it lived up to the hype and for the prices they’re charging, I expected a bit more. The biggest drawback for me was the smell. The market is right next to a wholesale market, and every so often a strong fish smell drifts through. In some spots it’s not too bad, but in others it’s pretty overpowering, and it does put a damper on enjoying your food. All in all, it’s worth a visit for the vibe and the variety, but be prepared for crowds, higher prices, and the occasional fishy breeze.

There were all kinds of things here. Everything from dried fish to various fruits and vegetables. I didn't go to buy anything. I just went to observe and talk to locals. I was the only Foreigner there which was pretty cool. Everyone was really friendly and there was more than enough supplies to go around. If I ever go to Cebu again I'll definitely pay them another visit.

We love the new face of carbon. Very organized and customer-friendly. We feel much safer because of the lights: it's so bright unlike before wherein it's so dim and we're afraid to go there at night. Love the improvement! Also, the prices aren't compromised by the change so it's a really good steal to go there and buy your necessities.

Best to experience the place is by the very time it opens at 5pm. Bec there's still plenty of chairs and tables to dine and its not yet too crowded. You'll get to enjoy on checking each stall on the types of food they sell. Plus, you'll have the sunset sky as your background.

A good spot for foodie people and barkada food trips and also for a couple who wants to have chill vibes with various delicious foods. Imagine streets and streets filled with fresh produce...all the fruits and vegetables you can think of...and then you have Carbon Market! Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of vegetables and fruits. This is by far the largest street farmer's market I have witnessed Very good deals on produce...about half of what the local supermarkets are charging. If you are good at bargaining, you will do very well here. There are many food stalls serving local food (canideria-type foods and oc course, fried chicken) but I was not able to find vegetarian or vegan options. So instead I got a buko (young green coconut)for drinking and eating 40 Pesos If you're staying overnight in Cebu City over the weekend, I highly recommend visiting this market. There is so much to see, and if you want fresh fruits and vegetables at excellent prices you will love this place! 🥦🥭🥥🍅🍉🍊🍌🍍🍎🥑🥒🥬🌽🍆🥔🥕🥜 And if you haven't yet tried local ice creams, you definitely should look for the manually pushed carts. Flavors- Mango, Ube, and Avocado 20 Pesos for all 3 🍦🥭🥑🥔🍦😋

I really didn't think it looked so hard getting to the falls. It was probably a 25-30 minute walk, but wow, when leaving, it seemed like climbing a not so defined trail would never end. I will admit that I took a 2 year break trying to do all the falls on Cebu, and maybe that's why it seemed harder, but yeah, it hurt. As far as the people go, everyone was friendly and it was a SAFE atmosphere. I don't know what the other reviewer experienced saying something about a pipe and better pay, but it far from that. EVERYONE was super friendly. Even the kids and store owners were friendly. Bottled water was only 15 pesos. I tried giving my change to a little girl outside the store and she wouldn't take it. I actually felt bad because no child was begging like in the city. They were healthy happy kids playing. The water wasn't clear because of the weather and wasn't much of a waterfall, but you tell it had potential with better weather.

It's a 30-40 minute walk off the trail to get there then a descent down a slope that can get very slippery after it rains. There was a rope to help you climb back up. Great experience in nature.

Loved the falls! Few minutes walk from the trailhead to the falls. The descend to the falls is beginner friendly and the ascend was quite difficult pero good thing there was a rope to hold on to.

The falls were beautiful. The hike was fine. But the guide's charge was a bit pricey imo. He took us on the side of the mountain and off the beaten path. I found it to be a bit challenging for a newbie. Just be careful!

Getting there was a little bit difficult, especially using "Waze" Navigation App, Luckily I changed to Google Maps which was more accurate and got us to the entrance. The falls experience itself was refreshing, though the water looked like "iced coffee" we still went for a swim and we didn't regret it. The water was cold and the view was breathtaking. I would definitely go back here. Highly recommended weekend trip! If you want to get away from the city but don't want to travel far, this is the place to go!

Guide-less first timer review. Tl;dr - would go again! EDIT: Picture was taken during dry season. Climb during the wet season (or rain days before) - and the falls become distinctly muddier and the flow is more powerful. First stop: Arrived by car in a quiet Monday morning. No other hikers. When we parked at jump-off, a couple friendly guides were lounging around. Didn't avail their service because of fear of reviews here - but the long-hair guy wasn't there & the guides around seemed friendly and legit. The only thing they asked at the end was a tip for 'watching' the car, and they said it friendly enough so I gave a couples pesos and headed off. Gentle, 30-minute trek to the falls from jump-off registration area. 30 minutes back. The path is fairly straightforward. Dusty dirt trail to Cement block road to a paved dirt trail. You won't get lost - you just have to follow the main road until you hear the falls. But don't be afraid to ask locals for directions. They're friendly enough - and they also don't want people entering their property anyway. Many local houses around where you can call and ask for directions. Once you hear the falls and a fork in the road approaches, head to the right and go down. When you go down, you'll encounter another fork — go descend through the right. The left path has some logs blocking it so I guess it's not hiker-ready. The right path will be steep — so be careful. I climbed a couple of mountains before this but this was definitely more technically challenging. Not impossible, but ready your expectations. During the final descent there's a rope tied to a base. You can use this to safely descend to the rock face by the waterfalls. Once you see the falls from afar, you're pretty much in the clear. The falls itself were magnificent. Went during a clear day and the water was mineral-green. Swimming was fun. Heading back was just following the same route backwards. The only downside of the trek was the amount of trash strewn around the area. Otherwise, the entire hike can be done in 2 hours — perfect for an early morning excursion before breakfast. Also, I had the greatest pleasure being accompnaied by a resident dog who literally led the way to the falls the entire time. He went with us 30% of the way in and went out the same time as us too. Made the experience all the more fun. Final thoughts: Very doable hike that's super near the city — 30 minute car ride from Mabolo. If you want a feeling of nature without going far south to Kawasan, do this. You can absolutely do this without a guide too.

Worth the visit, clean water for a swim and not too cold. Make sure to wear trainers as it’s steep downhill to the waterfall. You will be asked by locals if you want a tour guide, we said no and it’s easy enough to find yourself ☺️

Pama-ul (muscle ache) for days but oh so worth it. The fur baby and yours truly enjoyed the trip very much. The trees, the river, the birds and the falls... Nature at its best. It was very challenging and quite hard specially for the uninitiated like me. We had to make a lot of stops to rest and catch our breath. If you're planning to come here then make sure to bring lots of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. 👍

Came for fresh air but many locals were burning plastic so there’s a constant smell of toxic smoke. There’s a construction site blocking the trail halfway, and the trail is also littered with trash. Being in the city, it’s a popular trail, even at sunrise, so hardly the serene experience I was hoping for. View at top was alright, just spoiled and overdeveloped.

this is one heavy trail for a average joe, im a little bit chubby so the last part was an absolute beast to slay. but it were slayed. if you hike the trail the end is in a rural mountain road. getting help down to the city by bypassers is not difficult but no taxi or scooter taxi up there xD be aware, the property on the first top is baught by real estate developer and is now private property. that forces you to hike half way to Starbucks before you can turn towards barcramps and hike the trail in alltrail app or other maps. the trail is beautiful but a little overgrown here and there, kind of difficult to spot the right path also since there is not a single marking or sign... be aware.

We tried the “escape room” but honestly, wouldn’t recommend it—too pricey for what you get. The audio where they give clues or instructions was super muffled, we could barely understand anything. Our door lock didn’t even work, so someone had to cut it open with a bolt cutter—totally ruined the whole escape room vibe since it’s supposed to be about solving clues and unlocking things yourself. The space felt really cramped, and I didn’t notice any emergency exits, which made it feel kinda unsafe. Also, no pictures allowed—you’ll have to surrender your phones in a locker before entering. If you’re just in it for the challenge, maybe it’s worth the risk, but for us, it was a bummer!

Escape Cebu, you gave us so much fun!! As a person who loves to engage into activities like this, I could say that they offer one of the best fun things to do in Cebu!! The whole place is clean, agents are friendly, and of course you’ll get even more excited to do the thrills because of the other players too. My first ever escape room experience and EscapeCEBU truly set the bar high! 💯💯💯 The staff were so welcoming and made everything smooth from start to finish. We did “The Last Ride” and it was such a defining experience—thrilling, challenging, and full of surprises with the whole murder mystery on a train theme. It’s definitely better when the power of friendship and brains work together! Can’t wait to try their other rooms puhon!

Had an awesome time at Escape Cebu! The room we tried was really well thought out challenging but still doable, and the puzzles were clever and fun. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. It’s a great way to bond with friends or family, and we definitely had a lot of laughs. Tried the Casino Heist room at Escape Cebu yesterday and wow… it felt like we were actually in a movie. The setup was legit—dim lights, “security systems,” and a vault that made us feel the pressure right away. The puzzles weren’t just random locks—you really had to think, work together, and notice small details. There were a couple of moments we thought we were done for, but the adrenaline kept us going. We only asked for hints twice, and the staff gave just enough to point us in the right direction without spoiling anything. It’s not the easiest room, but that’s the fun part. Every time we cracked a puzzle, the whole group was cheering. By the time we finally got to the diamond, we were out of breath from both running around and laughing at our close calls. If you want something exciting to do with friends or family, this one’s worth it. Just be ready to think fast, communicate, and maybe get a little competitive.

First of all the escape room is so fun, the mystery, horror and vibes aspects of it. I would recommend you take the last ride. We had 38 seconds left when we finished the escape room and discovered the killer. For the price itself? It is really worth it when you are in a group 6 or more.

Loved it. Kids really enjoyed the quirky installations! It was like being in a Willie wonka movie!! Very quiet when we visited, think it's well worth an hour of your time. Bring socks to wear on some areas..or can buy there. Enjoyed reading about the emotions too... different to the usual.

I went there alone. The staffs were so nice. They took photos and videos of me. Helped me with my angles too. The staffs were smiling, I feel so welcomed. I will probably go back again with my love ones. It's informative and aesthetic. There's a part where you can read facts about emotions and how to control them. You can make keychain, slime, buy gummies and their merch too. Good place to visit, it's worth the money. They give free mochi and ice-cream too. I love their music too hohoho. I am a walk-in customer, I didn't wait, but I recommend buying tickets in advance. I love there~

Place is for kids and kids at heart 💚 Perfect to take photos. Only downside is their air-conditioning is not working when we visited.

I’m glad this place is pet friendly and my furbaby was able to take really cute colorful pics. The staff are really nice and helped me take pictures. A must visit place and we’ll come back again when my little Siomai is bigger so we can take more pictures :)

Went there last week with my niece and nephyy and they had fun. What made me give a 3-star review is their “photoshoot” policy. It states there that they will charge for a photoshoot fee if guests have equipments such as gimbals, lights, tripods etc. I brought with me my mirrorless camera, without attached flash and light, I even explained that it just work the same with a digi cam but with better lenses. **For info about what specific camera it was, it’s Sony a7iii with 50/2.5 prime lens** The front desk had it checked with one of their crew and said it was okay. When we got inside, I was told by another crew not to use the camera because it is against their policy and I will be charged 9000pesos++ because it falls under their no “photoshoot” policy. I was flabbergasted and did not argue anymore coz I also don’t want to ruin the mood of my pamangkins. Forced to rent a locker bcoz of the circumstances. This is the only museum that I was not allowed to use my camera. So we just settled at using my iPhone’s photo capabilities. Just update your policy to “no dslr or mirrorless camera allowed”. It’s simpler and sets the expectations straight. Not gonna go back. The emotions I had was more on the confused and furious side.

I brought my family here when they visited Cebu and it was a great experience! Super Instagramable kahit saan ka magpicture. The staff were really nice din kahit di marunong magbisaya mga kapatid ko they still accommodated us and helped us take pictures, too! It is a must visit stop here in Cebu. We had fun learning about human emotions din as one of the staff gave us a tour around the museum. Pang whole family ang mga activities dito! We’ll surely come back :) 💯💯💯

If I could give them no star at all that would be great. I paid for my 7 year old to go in and i specifically told them that im leaving my 19 year old temporarily so i could go downstairs and book her in to her nail tech appointment. I already told them im coming back to swap with my 19 year old so she could go get her nails done. As soon as i came back to do the swap, they told me that i couldnt do so as it was not allowed. This is so stupid. If I only knew that this was the case then i shouldn’t have done what i did and just stayed behind. Staff should learn to listen to what they are told and not pretend they were unaware as i definitely told them numerous times that I’m coming back to do a swap. Maybe their brains were focused on the sell and not on the customer. You need one adult to accompany a child and i don’t understand why the swap was not allowed. Its not like there were two of us adults staying. If a guardian is willing to stay for the entire two hours, go ahead. If not and want to swap, stay clear. Management need to focus on training your staff customer service as your staff have selective hearing and reevaluate your guardian policy. It really gives your customers inconvenience. I paid 1375 on 20 minutes play which was supposed to be two hours as I didn’t have the time to wait for both my children to be in there and also get my 19years old daughter nails done after. We have plans to be somewhere else and have no plans to stay in Ayala for 4 hours. I feel ripped off just because of your staff not being clear.

Lately, the Sinulog festivities has not been as popular as before due to the strictly implementation done by the government to assure it is faithful to the tradition.

Cordova island hopping is a reason why island hopping in Cebu has a bad reputation. Bought a package from Rico for 14 pax, including 3 islands. Overall, our stay at the hotel was enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-kept, with the staff consistently maintaining a high level of cleanliness. The convenient location allowed us to easily access the city and nearby tourist attractions, enhancing our experience. While the hotel offers top-notch amenities and a pleasant atmosphere, we did find that it was a bit on the expensive side compared to other options in the area. Additionally, the lack of essential toiletries in the room was a small drawback that could be improved upon. Nevertheless, we appreciated the comfortable environment and the attentive service, making for a memorable stay. The hotel staff were welcoming, polite, and highly professional in addressing our needs. We are grateful to them for their assistance.

This hotel was my first choice when I came to Cebu. I think it was a very good choice now that I stayed here. The grounds are beautiful, the interior of the hotel amazing, the restaurant along with continental breakfast is the best quality food and service, the room was superb and the happy hour and the floor really had great snacks, drinks, and view. I just loved this place. It isnt really a bad walk from here to Ayala malls or IT park. I was warned to be careful if walking to Ayala due to road traffic, but it really wasn't bad at all.

The hotel is on the older side, both in design and overall style, but the rooms are well maintained despite the dated décor. Unfortunately, the casino had no air conditioning during our visit, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was average and didn’t quite live up to the positive reviews I’d read, though that might come down to personal preference.

So I went there with my foreigner boyfriend, staffs obviously knows iam brown skinned or Morena ,they probably already assumed that I was just a girl picked up from a street hoping to be one of the "nakaahon sa kahirapan" girlie, I don't think it's was okay for the staffs to really ask/say these lines 1. WOW yahaya indae ahh! Bugal² nga pagka storya. Sabay katawa 2.Dae ( I will clarify this at the bottom) 3.Asa naman sad mo laag dae? 4. Kana dae! with a disturbing perverted joking voice Like akoa partner ilaha ge trato og nice , like proper/professional gyud and to be clear I don't need them to call me madam or mam but at least call me MISS!, I don't know you and you definitely don't know me to call me indae , I understand it still means younger one/sister according to English translation, but having a multi million/billion hotel, I think all staff needs to call their guest mam,sir or miss, they call me dae with disgust and with laughter like I was nothing, smirking all together . It was a something I didn't expect, if u dont understand how I feel then maybe it's just me, I think small to big business, poor to rich people that enters a company or business, needs to be treated equally by stating the right name greeting.

We really enjoyed our stay! The buffet selection was delicious with plenty of good options. Service at the lounge was a bit slow, but overall the experience was awesome and we would definitely come back.
