The venue is quite lovely with nice outdoor seating and just the right amount of space between tables. Waitstaff was kind and very helpful with recommendations. We were provided with some complimentary chicharrones (vegan) at the start of the meal, which were light and crispy. We started off our meal with the cauliflower appetizer, which was delicious and also quite creative—it had sweet, savory, and spicy elements to it with fun textural components, especially with the crunchy pepita seeds! My only suggestion for the dish is that it be cooked in smaller chunks because the insides of the cauliflower pieces did not get enough of the seasoning and were a bit crunchy/raw cauliflower-forward. For our entrees, we got the paella and skirt steak. Both were well-executed. Paella was solid but did not blow me out of the water. The scallop was cooked to perfection though. I’m also not one to be particularly impressed by steaks, so I thought the steak (medium-rare) dish was pretty good, but my partner really enjoyed it! Drinks arrived a little while later so we decided to order both our apps and pizza at the same time anticipating another long wait. She cut the fat away and devoured her food. As for the ravioli the pasta was too al dente for me and overall an underwhelming dish. But, the fried deviled eggs… I was apprehensive when my sister ordered the fried doubled eggs as an appetizer but wow! They were lightly battered, slightly crispy on the outside, and silky-smooth on the inside. My palate danced with every bite. They were definitely by far the star of my dining experience.

I was excited cause I’ve been wanting to try this sample in Indianapolis for a long time but just haven’t got around to it. Less just say I’m going to give them another try cause maybe it was the Select selection of food ordered. The mashed potatoes, although homemade were very thick and clump together and had no taste. The dressing, very thick as well and dry gave stove top and I’m almost sure it was. The greens had no meat, but big shavings of onion. The macaroni and cheese with decent with a little added seasoning and heated. The turkey was almost at that dry point and not well seasoned and the rolls smh. Everyone was polite and helpful even while they were very busy today. I stopped in for Yelp Elite Week and got a free together I purchased another. The sandwiches range about $10-$11 each. I got 'The Goose' which only seemed right since they are The Goose Market lol and I also got the 'Batali' yummmm. The Batali stole the show. It was very very flavorful. The aroma from the Italian seasonings and olive oils is enough to make your mouth water. My favorite by far. They also had cheese and chocolate samples to try. The cheeses were wonderful. My favorite was the wensleydale. It had a strong bite of ginger and a hint of sweetness from mango. It has a soft and crumbly texture.
