Oiartzun is a renowned pastry cafe located at the entrance gate of the Old Town, offering a delightful array of sweet treats and gourmet products. The second-generation pastry chef, David Martin, upholds his father's tradition by creating delectable desserts from the finest ingredients with love. Visitors can enjoy their coffee and choose from specialty croissants, Basque cake, truffles, and eclairs on the cozy terrace with great views of the town hall and Boulevard main drag.
A traditional patisserie with a great selection of local delicious cakes and pastries. We tried the Gozua and Pastel Vasco. Yummy and rich. Friendly service and tasty coffee.
Lighthouse C — Google review
Lots of tasty deserts, sweets, chocolate and coffee. Very small place, but lots of things to choose from.
Anton R — Google review
Loved this place! Came every morning for a pastry (especially the Vasco cake!) and a cafe con leche when in town. They are fast, efficient, and they sure had plenty available. It was a great breakfast or sweet treat stop with so many delicious choices! Definitely recommend going!
Jennifer D — Google review
We visited this bakery after hearing it recommended for its Basque cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. The cake was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it while visiting San Sebastián
Uri Y — Google review
Cannot fault this corner bakery where over 6 days we went there everyday and tried something different for breakfast accompanied by the best cappuccino. Everything is made in house.
Caroline L — Google review
One of the best pastry shop in San Sebastian. Well worth a visit. Great coffee. Nice view of the cathedral.
Stanley K — Google review
This is one of those stores were you spend some time trying to decide what to get, because after all you want to try everything they have. Those pastries are so aesthetically pleasing! And the prices are very reasonable, not high at all for the offered product. For us, it was the first place where we tried the traditional gâteau basque and we absolutely loved it, even though we can't quite compare it to any other. Would definitely come back to this place if I get the chance so I can get more unique and beautiful pastries.
Mary P — Google review
We came back because of fond memories for the first Piñones we had in Spain many years ago. The place has more than kept up with the times and seems to have stepped up its game with wonderful pastries. They still have Piñones of course and a simply mouthwatering Pastel Vasco

La Viña is a casual cafe that has been a staple in San Sebastian since 1959. It's renowned for its small plates and the famous Basque burnt cheesecake, which originated here in the 1990s and has gained international fame. The cafe is also known for its regional wines. Situated on a street lined with some of the town's best pintxo bars, La Viña stands out as a must-visit spot.
La Viña is known for its lively and energetic atmosphere, attracting many travelers. This spot is indeed a must-try, particularly for its Basque burnt cheesecake. Here, of course, we enjoyed dishes other than cheesecake. The service was friendly and inviting and the seating was comfortable. We would definitely recommend stopping by.
Achino N — Google review
Cheesecake cheesecake and more cheesecake. The most famous place for cheesecake in the region. Is it the best one? You'd have to go to the other places that some locals say are also good or better, but it's certainly a fantastic cheesecake, and the best one I had. Basque style.
Marc B — Google review
The line is crazy but you should just get it and order quickly. Honestly, I expected more from this place but it was pretty mid, extremely overpacked and loud. The basque cheesecake we came for was €6,50 for the portion which they split into two slices for better taste I guess was really good (but we expected something much more delicious for the price and hype this place has). When you take it to go they just give prepacked box with cheesecake inside, maybe this affected somehow
Nargiza A — Google review
Great cheesecake! Place is packed pretty much every night we passed by it though you can share a table with other people. Easier to get seats if you’re not a big group.
Mikaela M — Google review
The line was pretty short on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered their famous Basque cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious. It is lighter and creamier than I've ever had and less sweet. My only regret was getting only one slice per person!
C P — Google review
Incredible. We were only going to have the cheesecake as we heard this was the top place to go. But we couldn’t resist the other dishes too. The gentleman who served us was so friendly and always smiling. We had the meatball, stuffed mussels, plate of jamón and chorizo. Everything was exceptional.
Bav M — Google review
I came a little earlier so missed the big rush, but it was still busy. Good part is I didn’t have to wait in line, only a few minutes at the counter. After trying it I get what the hype is all about. Best description I give is that it was very flavorful, creamy, and the most delectable cheesecake I’ve had. I would say it was a cheesecake with a consistency and texture of flan. Compared to the amount of business they get it’s quite small inside so seating can be difficult. Going early, helped as I was able to secure a place to sit and enjoy my cheesecake.
Roya M — Google review
Fabulous cheesecake, worth the hype and a must when visiting San Sebastián. Joined the queue 15 minutes before opening and definitely worth the wait. All seems a little chaotic but we were served very quickly. Delicious creamy cheesecake €6 per slice.

Alabama Café is a great choice for anyone looking for healthy food, as well as coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. It offers organic food, juices and smoothies, as well as various vegetarian dishes. The coffee is of high quality, and the staff are always happy to help. It's a great place to stop by on any day!
This is a cute, cozy place with delicious, healthy food. It is a welcome break after eating pintxos for several days. The 3 folks taking orders and preparing things behind the bar were friendly and the gentleman spoke good English. There are a few seats downstairs and another 12 upstairs. There may be some seating outside. They bring the food to you. We had a poke bowl with tofu which was so delicious (we are not vegetarians). We also had the toast with avocado and smoked salmon and the toast cream cheese and jambon. There are also fresh squeezed juices, teas and good coffee. It’s not a big menu but everything is really tasty and fresh. When you need a break from pintxos this is a great option!
Tedd S — Google review
A bright and pleasant spot to start your day🌞 The scent of freshly squeezed orange juice, the vibrant colors all around, and a delicious toast - it all leaves you with a lovely aftertaste and a great mood🥰

Nice little brunch spot. We were a bit hesitant to come here after seeing the menu and pictures but were glad we did. The food and smoothies were delicious. Super lightweigt but fulfilling breakfast. Plenty of options to choose from. We really liked the place and would come back 😊
Anna — Google review
Great little cafe for a healthy breakfast or brunch. We tried their açai and also had some of their Avocado toast. The açai is great, really flavourful with the perfect amount of fruit and granola! The coffee is ok, with the cafe definitely providing better juice options!
Ryan H — Google review
San Sebastián Spain -Clean healthy food highly recommended. They had some unique fruit and granola bowls, fruit smoothies and many other all natural treats. Good coffees but no iced coffees, all hot coffees. Very small, not a lot of seating.
Art A — Google review
Went to Donostia-San Sebastian for a 3 day trip and came here every single morning! I enjoy eating healthy and it’s sometimes hard to find a spot… everything was fresh and made with care. They were really sweet here and no matter how busy, we’re attentive and got everybody what they ordered in timely manner. Everything I ordered off the menu was delicious and would be ordered again! Definitely check this place out!!

Simona Specialty Coffee Club, formerly known as OhBaba, is a popular cafe located in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastian. The cafe offers a modern interior, friendly staff, and ample seating, creating a California vibe in Spain. While slightly pricier than other cafes, the quality of their coffee makes it well worth it. Visitors are welcome to stay for extended periods of time. The menu features delicious granola yogurt and phenomenal cinnamon rolls.
This coffee shop has the best sandwich I have had in years. It was a nice surprise as I expected to be just a random and run of the mill coffee shop as many around. The service is great and the team was very friendly. The deserts are awesome but have to say that if you get there for brunch you may miss a few options.
Daniel L — Google review
I love this little tourist spot right in between gross and Old Town on the river. The décor is pretty adorable. It is warm and inviting clean and crisp and trendy enough to match the friendliness and light snootery of the baristas and service staff who is talented with latte art. The baked goods are strong offerings, as are the brunch offerings. The poached eggs are pretty raw and their take on hollandaise is unique as is the benedict base of a multigrain bread that was great but surprising. The first time I went here, I got lucky and was offered a table quickly. The next time there was a large line of tourists, this place has capital city style pricing. So expect the tourist experience.
Andrew K — Google review
Really great coffee! They do multiple types of specialty beans each day and it's brewed perfectly. The food is also delicious- I recommend the turkish eggs, eggs benedict, and lady salome. There's ample room to sit and they even open early (well relative to all the other coffee places!). Went here twice in the 5 days I was on vacation here.
Lara O — Google review
World class coffee cafe. They literally have six Geisha pour over coffees on hand that can change your life. They have regular espresso drinks as well, but what attracted me was the super high quality pour overs, as I'm a bit of a home roasting Geisha coffee snob. You might need to wait in line for a table, but it moved fast and we were seated in five minutes. Menu en Espanol, so bust out your translator or have the chrome plugin installed in your browser. The moment you enter, you know you are on for a special treat and the food offerings for brunch show the same care and attention to quality as their coffee. Many dishes are sandwiches with the lightest fluffiest toasted bread (gluten free, too). I had the Reuben at the suggestion of our server, it was really incredible. If you never had the pleasure to taste a Geisha coffee, this is your chance. If you want a high quality food destination for lunch, this is your stop. Highly recommend their staff, too, who will let you smell the coffee beans before you order. Take their advice on both coffee and food. Baristas are world class and know their stuff!
Chris K — Google review
Finally a decent coffee in Spain/France! A perfect cup of magic. Strong and full bodied with just the right amount of fresh, creamy milk. Great temperature too. We came back the next morning to enjoy more coffee and sample the food, all of which was great! (tomato toast, croque, acai bowl and banana bread). All the pastries looked fresh and delicious. The ambience was chill - the Strokes were playing and the doors were open to a nice view over the river. Shout out to the male waiter who was super friendly, hardworking and relaxed.
Amy — Google review
It is worth a stop, but a bit overrated in my opinion. There is better coffee available in the city, the service was below average, but it is a beautiful space. The barista breakfast is a great way to try a few different coffee styles, would recommend it. I think you can get better food and coffee elsewhere (and much cheaper), but Simeone is worth a stop.
Bradley M — Google review
We came here for coffee and tried the Geisha espresso as a double—absolutely recommend it! It had a dark, roasty aroma with lots of complexity and a beautiful aftertaste. We also had a matcha latte, which was excellent, so this is a spot for both coffee and matcha lovers. The café itself is modern, spacious, and nicely designed with good lighting and cute furniture. It was easy to talk to each other, though the place was very packed, and we had to queue. Because of that, the staff felt a bit overworked and the service came across as a bit mediocre. For food, we shared the Señorita Croque. The egg was softer than we prefer, but overall it was really tasty and worth the money. The café felt clean, youthful, and Wi-Fi was available, which is a plus. All in all, a great place for both specialty coffee and food, though expect it to be busy.
Niklas D — Google review
You have to get there early or else you’ll might have to wait for a table. The place was pretty cold, no one took off their jackets. The coffee and service were good though, the granola yogurt bowl was very good.

Churreria Santa Lucía, formerly known as Café Santa Lucía, is a must-visit spot in the Parte Vieja (Old Town) of the city. This diner has been serving up delicious churros and hot chocolate since 1956. It's a popular destination for those with a sweet tooth, offering a range of chocolatey treats including waffles, tostadas, and pastries.
This was such a nice find for us. We were looking for a place to get breakfast when we ran into this churreria. For 8 euros, we got two coffees, two croissants and a portion of churros. Everything was tasty, and the coffee was nice and hot. It's an experience in and of itself to sit in here and enjoy the vibe of the place. Definitely recommend going here, lunch and dinner is also possible.
Thirza S — Google review
Stumbled across this place that looked so old school. The churros were okay, not bad at all, but we had better in Madrid. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is wonderfully old school. Priced are good and the kids loved it.
Vivian S — Google review
Great and authentic chocolate and churros! We got the recommendation from a local and he said it's the best place to try it. It's a cantina-like restaurant which feels definetely local and not at all touristic. Can recommend :)
Max B — Google review
I didn’t come here for the chocolate and churros, which was my first mistake. My second—amd final—mistake was ordering the seafood paella. Instead I was served a soggy “seafood” pasta dish. The servers claimed that’s what I asked for, but it wasn’t. Needless to say, it was all downhill from there.
Robert L — Google review
Best best churos store ever. 5* chocolate dip. Very local style. Kind service.
Chayut O — Google review
The best churros we've ever had! The chocolate was not too sweet and the churros were freshly made. Really decent price to. The place is very busy and feels a bit like a greasy spoon, but don't be fooled, it is a good choice for cheap food.
Christian F — Google review
We felt like these were the best churros we’ve had in Spain. Period. Fresh, hot, crisp outside and doughy soft inside.
Heather B — Google review
Came to this place for their hot chocolate and churros. Didn’t disappoint. This place is not flashy but serves great drinks and chocolate. Give it a try.

Restaurant
Yellow Deli San Sebastian is a charming, rustic restaurant that offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional tapas and pinxtos in the area. The establishment serves up a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. Visitors praise the delicious and healthy options on the menu, such as the lamb sandwich and chef's salad. The friendly staff are multilingual and provide excellent service. The old-school wooden decor adds to the cozy atmosphere of this delightful tavern.
I ate a veggie burger because google reviews recommended it. It was the most delicious burger I've ever eaten. It's a restaurant with non-alcoholic and healthy drinks. The owners are a very sweet husband and wife. If you come to San Sebastian, definitely go to Yellow Deli.

We had such an amazing experience here! It is super different from the places around - The interior is very cute, super cozy with a rustic design. They have several vegan options, it is pretty reasonable priced and super delicious! (Especially the chili was very wholesome) The service was also super kind and sweet :)) can only recommend !!

Australian here 🇦🇺 – what a gem! 💎 This was such a lovely spot to stop for lunch. I had the lamb roll (delicious!) and my partner went for the soup, which was just as good. It’s a family-run restaurant with a quirky, welcoming charm that makes you feel right at home. Honestly, you won’t get a bad meal here. I’ve noticed a few negative comments below, but in my experience they don’t reflect this place at all. If you’re in the area, you must stop by – highly recommend!

Amazingly Fresh!! We ate here nearly every day. It was our lunch and sometimes breakfast go-to spot for wonderfully crafted sandwiches with fresh and often in-house made ingredients and bread. The staff was SO nice and accommodated our English even though we didn’t expect it. They even have an organic produce market two doors down. Very clean place with attention to detail.
Gregory D — Google review
I really enjoyed my time here. My vegetarian wife has had a harder time travelling in Spain and loved her veggie burger. I loved my Reuben. The atmosphere is calm, the decorations charming, everything was spotless and the staff kind. A really enjoyable lunch
Eric M — Google review
Beautiful tavern which preserve the old school wooden style look. Beside the beautiful decor, the food was also as good. Their sandwiches were all worth trying (the bread is like heaven) and their soup of the day (lentil soup for my visit)was delicious. The orange juice was also freshly squuezed. Definitely worth the visit when you're in San Sebastian.

My favorite stop in San Sebastian! Get the toasted brioche with sesame seeds and jam (I got raspberry and marmalade). The jamon iberico tomato avocado toast was also phenomenal! We ordered a second round because it was so good! The owners were so lovely and kind, highly recommend!

This charming café offers an extensive menu featuring everything from aromatic coffee and refreshing fruit juices to hearty tostadas, granola with yogurt, and delectable artisan pastries. The atmosphere is vibrant, making it a perfect spot to enjoy your morning meal while watching the lively streets of San Sebastián come alive.
A find. A small café serving light meals. All good quality, served by a friendly lady. It is small though, so getting a table may be difficult. Recommended (providing you get a table)

No wifi. Service was a bit rude. Tostada con tomate was plain. Coffee and atmosphere was very nice. Also, dragon design cafe con leche so there's that.

Love this place, professional staff, great food and lovely surroundings, would return. Only one negative point, albeit a tiny one, putting a beer in a Guinness glass, NO NO NO, I'm from Ireland we would not be pleased, lucky for you the bar man was lovely, the glass spotless, and beer poured like a professional, maybe they knew i was Irish and we're having the criac 😂

Nice food and drink. I had a Radler type beer and ordered a few pintxos, the squid that I ordered arrived as chicken wings, but I think that was more to do with my bad Spanish that anything else.

I can’t rate the service because you have to order in the bar. The food is just Ok, if you’ve never tried pintxos you may enjoy the place but there are better options nearby for the same or less price. Avoid Croqueta pintxo is tasteless just save your money or order another thing.

Lovely breakfast and coffee spot. Very reasonably priced. Coffee is delicious and loads of freshly baked items to choose from. Has inside and outside sitting and we visited on a sunny morning- we actually had coffee here 3 consecutive days as it was near our hotel. Highly recommend visiting if you are in Gros area.

3 breakfasts in a row during our stay in Donostia. Lovely ladies, a very good cappuccino like an Italian one! Loved the croissant and the yogurt with fruit and granola. A very cozy place
Stefania P — Google review
How lucky we were that this was next to our VT apt. Fresh orange juice, excellent coffee, and there’s a magician somewhere making all the baked goods on site. They have some gluten free items as well. We went there every day and had pan de choco, croissants, cheesecake with delicious berries on top, cookies, cafe con leche, espressos, and a cream and apple square of deliciousness. The people working here are really patient and friendly. No wonder it’s packed, but there are always seats somewhere. It will be missed. Adios!

BBKafe is a great coffee shop in San Sebastian that offers delicious coffee, breakfast items, and cakes. They are open from 0700am and provide the perfect start to your day.
If you are having your breakfast everyday in the same cafe that must mean something 😜 Ww tried all the cafes in this street including Somos and still decided that BB has got the best food and drinks. The staff is very friendly, drinks and coffee very tasty. The best breakfast place but also for a nice small lunch. Definitely recommend it!!!!
Monika L — Google review
Ate here 3 times, I had the vegan oats each time which were delicious, with added protein powder, peanut butter and granola, there was also a Nutella toast (vegan) and an avocado toast, my partner had the protein pancakes, eggs. Which he said were all great. Oat milk available, had a flat white and an Oat milk Lotus cappuccino.
Emma M — Google review
Try the eggs Benedict croissant (I asked to replace the salmon with bacon for mine) and a flat white. It is a small place and gets crowded very quickly so make sure you're in early (before 9:30) or be prepared to wait for a table. The outdoor seating area is particularly appealing especially during a sunny weekend day.
Habibi 1 — Google review
Great coffee here. The salmon and avocado toast has a generous filling. It is a very small cafe with a few seats within and the seats are tightly packed with one another.

Pretty little coffee shop serving breakfast as well! :) opening hours could be sooner eg. From 7:30. We came at 10 and did not catch a table. People where standing in line already. Then came again right after opening - I had breakfast twice - 1. Mango bowl - kinda surprised how frozen mango was, felt like I had ice cream for breakfast :D but it was delicious indeed. 2. Croissant with eggs benedecit - my god, amazing. Coffee tastes great, highly recommend this place :)

I've visited this lovely café twice and both times have been a real treat. On each visit, I enjoyed an extra hot coffee and a delicious slice of apple pie – the perfect pairing. The coffee was exactly how I like it: extra hot and full of flavor, and the apple pie was fresh. Highly recommended!

Food is good, but the prices are a little too high. Especially 9€ for the porridge or 4€ for a small orange juice in paper cups. They do not know how to make tea, but anyway it is a coffee bar. We have been there twice and the service was ok. It is very hot inside, so try to get a seat outside.

We sat down to eat lunch at a table that had just been vacated. The waiter while he was clearing the table asked if we wanted lunch (in English) and we replied that yes we did. We sat and patiently waited for him to set the table and bring us menus. We watched while instead he proceeded to greet 2 other parties (who spoke Basque/Spanish). He gave them menus and took their drink orders while completely ignoring us. He then stood with his back to us, so we got up and left. I had heard of some anti tourism sentiment, but this was the first and only time in our 5 days in San Sebastian that we truly experienced it. It didnt feel good.

Francesco H — Google review
The "calamares" and "patatas ali-oli" are nice, especially for the price. They used to had perfect "pulpo de gallego", but now it's either not available or the servings are really small (but now it comes with french fries). Actually the place is very popular among natives in comparison to surrounding ones. The owner is always sitting inside, and her family is working there. Three stars because of lack of pulpo. As for me, you'd better increase the price than exclude it from the menu or dilute with fries. Update: Pulpo is back! Changes to 5 starts!

This cafe is very quaint. I enjoyed my time here. The food was nothing special, something that I could easily throw together for much less than they were charging. But nonetheless I think it was a good experience. I’m glad I went. Also their smoothies are not smoothies (according to an American), they are just a purée of the fruit). Anyways they have a wide range of menu items and if you have nothing better to do the cafe has a nice setting to just sit and relax.

Strawberry Cheesecake was done very well, it is wet and milkish, its been a long time since I have last tasted such a nice cheesecake. Staff speaks perfect English which is very critical to International guest like me, very exceptional cafe in San Sebastian.
YewChye T — Google review
Delicious, delicious coffee and croissants, paella in a very cozy atmosphere. Totally recommended, good vibes!
Dimitar P — Google review
We were here in July 2019. The rating is due to our second visit in this cafe. If I had not visited again, my rating would be higher. After all, we went back again because we had a good time there the first time; the breakfast was quite cheap and also good, the service (by the owner(s) I think?) was quick and they were welcoming and friendly. Their tortilla was very tasty as well. The second time we were there, the additional staff was rude and racist. She ignored me when I came up to the bar to order something, and when she could ignore me no longer she came to take my order. She took it, and never brought what we wanted. But when other people came in to order something she did it right away. When the owner came again, I told her that I was still waiting for my coffee I ordered a while ago, she apologised, then made and brought it right away. - Of course, as I haven't asked the person if it was my being Asian or being a foreigner in general, or being a tourist, or being a non-Spanish speaking person that she didn't like, I don't really know nor care what the issue was or why she thought that it was OK to behave in that way or to treat people/customers like that. It has to be one of those things though, I can't think of anything else that set me apart from the other people who came into the cafe. I won't ponder here which of the cases is actually worse.

Great little spot for pastry and coffee. The spanish omelette was delicious and filling for less then 2 euro. Coffee was proper. Cortado done just right. Husband and wife couple are very friendly and seemed to love their cafe. Love the layout of the space being on a wedge corner.

Fusion Kafe & Okindegia BENTABERRI is one of the new coffee shops in San Sebastian that has gained popularity for its extreme care in selecting quality coffee beans, ensuring a delicious cup every time. The cafe offers a varied and delicious menu, including options like carrot cake and gluten-free cookies to pair with your coffee.
Great little cozy spot. Not a lot of seating but worth it if you have to wait. We always order a "tosta" and a vanilla cappuccino. I usually never order flavored coffee but at Fusion I will ALWAYS get the vanilla cappuccino.

The tostas are so simple yet SOOOO delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area and need a cafe break. Indoor cafe and outdoor(sidewalk) seating available. The

We went for breakfast at around 10:30. It has been quite full already but we have been able to catch a table. Had pancakes and also some other pastry. Everything was good. It took a little longer to prepare our online order but nothing umbearable :) recommend.

Great breakfast experience! Tosta's were amazing. Loved the coffee. The atmosphere was good. Tarta de queso was good. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a try. Will revisit for sure.

Great, quick service for bfast. We had yogurt with cereals and a croissant with butter & marmelade. And of course a flat white (cafe con leche doble carga). All in all a great start of the day and now …. Off to the beach!! And as it all looked so well taken care of, I took another flat white and brownie.

They sent us away from BB cafe which is supposed to be best (they closed kitchen sooner but it was rude) so we ended up in Fusion and the food was the best. Great options of fresh juices, coffee, tostas and pancakes. Plus many more. Delicious! (On the pic is tostas n.4)

Fam Kafe is a charming smoothie place conveniently located across from a gym, offering protein shake smoothies and acai bowls. While the acai bowl was enjoyable, some customers felt it could have been more frozen and included additional toppings like mango, kiwi, and peanut butter. The menu lacks peanut butter options and banana/pb smoothies. This cozy spot also serves cold coffee drinks like the Frap with customizable sweetness levels.
After going to every coffee shop in Spain. We finally found one that actually serves a cold coffee drink. The Frap. It isn’t nearly anywhere as sweet as a Starbucks frap, in fact you have the option to add sugar. This is a cool little spot in a small neighborhood outside of the downtown scene. I highly recommend they have great coffee and a variety of sweet pastries to choose from. Also very good prices!
Robin M — Google review
Just a lovely place 🌞 During our stay in Donestia we had breakfast here every morning. The owner is really friendly and the acaï bowl is amazing!!
Nancy — Google review
Juice and açai bowl had a very bland flavour. The fruit produce was very low quality.
Eli S — Google review
Pretty nice smoothie place. Right across from the gym and smartly offering protein shake smoothies. The acai bowl here was nice but not frozen enough and I would've liked more toppings such as mango, kiwi and peanut butter considering the price. Instead the toppings are just apple, banana and museli which is okay. The menu doesn't have peanut butter as an option anywhere, and there's no banana/pb type of smoothie which is a shame.
Charlie T — Google review
I tried the La Concha juice and I really loved it! I definitely recommend the place.

A great little place to grab a smoothie or açaí bowl. Extremely delicious and the shop owner, Mario, was so kind and made our mornings even better! Would highly recommend checking them out!

Cafe
La Issla is a charming café located near the popular La Concha beach in Donostia. It's recommended to visit during off-peak hours due to limited seating. The energetic and friendly staff create a contagious atmosphere, and the customizable iced coffee and delicious acai bowl with kiwi are highly praised. The café offers incredible food, including beetroot and avocado toast, warm croissants, and various coffee options.
We had a lovely brunch at La Issla this morning. The food was just amazing and a perfect pair with their tasty coffee. We had to wait a little bit so we suggest going early and it’s not suited for really big parties of people. Prices are incredibly good. Would recommend and come again!
Riccardo C — Google review
Review is for the take away coffee only. It will take longer if you order during peak brunch, which is when lines get very long. Overall my double espresso was just right for that morning pick me up. Staff were great and the caffeine product was fair quality for the price.
Nabil R — Google review
Such a cute brunch spot! Fills up quickly so need to get there early to secure a spot. Everything was so delicious. I’m usually not a big fan of breakfast food and bread in general but this was out of this world amazing!! Pretty and yummy!
Helen Z — Google review
Poached eggs were refrigerator cold. Food is ok, edible, but nothing special. Mango smoothie was nice. Mainly tourists visit here. The interior design is well done.
Heide R — Google review
The place was quite nice and the waitress was really really nice! But unfortunately the food was quite boring. We ordered a pear/goat cheese toast and an avocado toast as well as the yoghurt. As drinks we had coffee and one banana-mango smoothie. The smoothie tasted like nothing, more like frozen fruits. I also waited a bit to drink it, because I tasted the frozen fruits, but it was then bitter at the end. The pear/goat cheese toast was okay, but the avocado was pretty boring. As well the yoghurt tasted like nothing. Sorry for the nice servant, but wouldn‘t recommend this place.
Christian — Google review
We had a mixed experience here. Positives were that this has nice shade outside in the morning to sit & watch the world go by. Coffee, chocolatine (pain au chocolat) & pistachio croissant we ordered were all great. However, my smoothie had way too much ice in it, a toast dish we ordered was rock hard and another bowl wasn't really as described on the menu. Not sure I will return.
Robin R — Google review
Early coffee, inventive and delicious lunch. I expect to endure, rather than enjoy, healthy food. This blew me away. Quinoa Salmon salad, so many kinds of marvelous. Goat cheese and pear marmalade toast, heaven on a piece of bread.
Carlos A — Google review
A nice spot for a little light lunch to relax and enjoy a coffee. We tried a simple toast and jamon. It came with a light blended soread to lift the flavour of the jamon which was nice, although the bread was a little too hard and crunchy. But overall great little spot for a light brunch/lunch.

A perfect cafe experience in San Sebastián. We enjoyed our breakfast so much we went 3 days in a row, which is something we rarely do since there are always other options. Es Cafe has a welcoming vibe, delicious food and amazing service. Highly recommend their egg / avocado toast, donuts and cappuccino.

Feel like I've been fooled my entire life, cheesecake shouldn't taste like cream cheese. This place is freaking epic. Coffee wise, the escafe XL is a nice coffee & the cafe kinder is great way to get wired.

Favorite place for breakfast, highly recommended, very close to an air bnb we're staying at. This place was recommended by our host, the fruit bowl in particular is very good (very fresh, delicious combination), as is the coffee (I ordered cappuccinos). It's a busy place understandably so just go with the flow and be prepared to wait for a table/ food if they're busy, it's worth the wait - seriously, we returned to this place 2 more breakfasts out of a 4 nights stay, after trying out two different places😊 they have an English menu, they show it to you on an ipad if you just ask😊 had also tried the cheese cake (good, recommend sharing as it's rather substantial a slice) and the salmon Horta, which was also very good. Favorite is the fruit bowl 😊 the waitress was incredible and despite the busyness and very wide clientele, she even remembered and asked if I'd like to repeat my very first order there from 2 days prior (despite that return having been only my second visit, ever). Self service water at the corner of the room.

During our recent three-day stay in San Sebastián, we discovered a gem of a breakfast spot that we simply couldn't resist returning to every morning. The restaurant served incredibly fresh and healthy breakfast options that delighted our entire family.

Horrible matcha. They put very little matcha and top it with a lit of milk - see how pale it's on the picture. Hence, you can taste mostly milk with a touch of bitterness (probably because of using too hot milk) and slight sweetness (I think some sort of sweet syrup was added)
Sagan S — Google review
Cozy cafe in the city of Donostía. We loved the food here, it was affordable and delicious. Our toasts took a little long to be served, but that meant that they were freshly prepared after we had ordered which was amazing.
AlessiaEla — Google review
The perfect café to start the day! Excellent value for money. The coffee is delicious, and the cheesecake is definitely a must-try. Freshly squeezed orange juice at a fair price. The croissant with avocado and egg was incredibly tasty and also a solid portion – just what you need to be well prepared for the day. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Kai F — Google review
We had cups of coffee, a croissant and a donut there. All the things we had tasted mediocre but we really liked that the donut and croissant were served with nice wooden cutleries, which doesn’t often happen at any cafes. All the staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the cafe was nicely cosy and pleasant. The place doesn’t really show up on the Google map so we were lucky to find it by accident when we were wondering in the area.
