Brewery
The Perfect Pint in Greenbelt 2, led by the Tempongko brothers, offers a selection of 22 in-house brews paired with a menu designed by chef Gene Gonzalez. To celebrate its fifth anniversary, it introduced five new beer variants featuring surprising elements like peppers and coffee. The Beer Flight allows patrons to sample four brews on tap for an assortment of flavor profiles. Single Origin, known for single-origin coffee, also serves comfort food, wine, beer, and cocktails.
Good craft beers and excellent food to pair it with. Recommended dishes are salpicao, salted egg shrimp and truffle fries. All other orders were okay. Will be back for sure
Rodcel P — Google review
Brewpub in Makati, great selection of their beers, generous portions and wide menu, with both local and international choices. Noticed though that some staff were struggling when pouring pints, which in a place called "The Perfect Pint" shouldn't be the case. Overall a very good place, anyway
Luigi C — Google review
Good craft beers, plenty of choices. Ordered samplers of their strongest and lightest best sellers. Overall satisfied of the taste, though the strong option could get you a bit drunk faster. Highly recommended. Just ask for their best sellers if you are not familiar yet
Nat N — Google review
The food is still great! First time to dine in this restaurant since the pandemic! Their oyster sisig is still awesome (tastes like the oyster sisig at Two Seasons Boracay! Hehehe) Truffle mushroom pasta is still good and the chicken skewers are amazing --- tender, tasty and spicy. Their craft beers are still the best! My favorite? The Legally Blonde Pale Ale! (Hope I got the name correct). It's so smooth and crisp!
Carlo B — Google review
A great place to chill and get drinks. Suprisingly they have good food as well. Try their cheap steak! They have lunch menu sets now, which are affordable. Got their tapa, and soy chicken and both are okay... we also got the meatball spaghetti. Overall, great food, great drinks. For the rest of the menu, prices tends to be higher than expected.
Renz L — Google review
Wow! It's a great place to celebrate occasions with family or friends, or some casual catching up with colleagues. Food are for sharing and it's awesome. People are coming in and out. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating.
Xam V — Google review
Our go to place during the pandemic as it was still open. Great Beer (personally i favor the Legally Blonde and the Black Mamba) - Great Food too and a relaxed atmosphere all in all. Staff is super friendly. Truffle Fries are amazing :D
Cybersecurity F — Google review
This place was awesome. Amazing craft beers and the food was amazing. My inky criticism was the menu had no pictures or explanations of the dishes. I went to the website to order. But service was awesome, beer was amazing, and food was too.

Nipa Brew Taproom & Brewhouse is a local beverage company that embodies the spirit of adventure and exploration through its range of craft beers. The team's dedication to discovering new flavors and experiences is evident in their flagship brew, Tropic Haze, as well as other offerings like Sun Stoked, Bliss Point, Midnight Blur, and Drop Zone.
It's a nice place to hang out with. We usually play boardgames here and the staff Sam and Jay are always there to accommodate us. They have very nice and friendly staff! Aside from the homey atmosphere, they also offer good craft beer and have amazing vegan alternatives for your favorite dishes -their nachos, sizzling sausage, chicken poppers, burgers, and Sisig were all good. I was here last night for a beer Jambeeree. It's where people buy a flight of beer for a blind tasting. Added some photos for you to see.
Wilson J — Google review
A peaceful beer place in Makati. Would have been better if there was below zero degree beer. Hehe Minimal food options when we visited (Saturday night). The experience was still great, anyway.
Marieshiel E — Google review
We searched craft beer and found this little gem. Great selection of beer and whilst not sure about vegan really enjoyed the food. Helpful staff and even friendly locals. We were given some onward travel advice. And the lovely staff kindly booked a cab to get us back. I hope others search you out and enjoy as we did. Thank you Stephen and Niki
Stephen P — Google review
My partner was extremely apprehensive of coming here when I said the food was vegetarian. Lo and behold, he loved the food and couldn’t get enough of it. The sisig was 💯. Fries were good but could’ve been better with better quality fries — perhaps thinner/ crispier fries wirh skin? Take me to your leader was our favorite beer (hits you with a taste of scotch at the end). If you want something non-alcoholic, the fizzo was AMAZING. Definitely coming back to taste more of the menu!
Nessa C — Google review
My husband's friends used to come here often. We visited here for the first time today. All of their staff is friendly and nice. I ordered Professor's Brew and Tropic Haze. I'm not a beer enthusiast so I didn't know that IPA beers typically taste bitter compared to others. You can ask their bar attendants about their items. They gave us amazing recommendations too.
Arianne C — Google review
A great small brewery located in Makati CBD area. Great ales on tap all produced in house and very reasonably priced. The happy hour which is extended has great pricing for the tap beers as well. I really enjoyed the tap beers here, the selection of Ales is excellent. Also the brewery serves plant based food only which is a great choice. I had the Sisig and the spring rolls, both were delicious. The nachos which I ordered on my 2nd visit could have been better. Overall a great option for craft brews, not crowded at all the two times I visited.
Sameer R — Google review
Pleasant spot. Enjoyed two tasty brews. Quiet and cool. Not particularly pleased with the "plant-based" menu. Almost every item says ground meat or sausage but it's deceit! Located inside Solace Hotel. Wifi available.
Steve C — Google review
My favorite spot to hangout in Makati. Friendly bartenders and really good craft beers. Try out their citrus radler and white IPA! They also have board games so my friends had a great time here.

Bar
Polilya is a popular bar located in Poblacion, known for its eclectic furniture and ambient lighting that creates a private club atmosphere without the expensive membership fee. The owner, Ian Paradies, introduced his own line of craft beers under the Engkanto brand in 2016 and established Polilya as their cozy and classy home. The bar offers signature craft beers designed to suit the Filipino palate at affordable prices.
I visited this place alone, hoping to enjoy some good draft beer, and I was not disappointed. I was happy to find they had a selection of Engkanto beers, which was an awesome surprise. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly kind and engaging, making me feel welcome despite being on my own. It’s rare to find a spot where you can truly enjoy yourself solo, but this place nailed it. I’ll definitely be back!
James T — Google review
Super sarap ng fries!!!!! Will definitely come back for it! Thank you for the super great food and company, esp. Ate Madel, Ate Vangie, Ate Chen, and Mommy Connie. 🥰 The atmosphere was lit too, even sa CR na super linis. Great experience, indeed.
Xena B — Google review
Came here because the bar I wanted to try was closed, and glad I did. Looking for a craft beer, and their Engkanto range doesn’t disappoint. It all sounds a bit weird but tastes great. Mango Nation hazy IPA and High Five honey ale were both excellent, and I don’t normally do flavoured beer. And they mix some fabulous cocktails. Super friendly staff, good music, and what I assume would be a cool spot on any night except a quiet Monday. Check it out
Darren B — Google review
Good food. Great beer. Satisfying cocktail
Karen C — Google review
After I had my dinner, I proceeded to Polilya to have some good time, chilling over there. The atmosphere and vibes were really really good, because it's a Friday night, so kind of full house but still the entertainment vibes are up to the next level. I had ordered Honey Ale and Live It Up Lager, the beers were really nice, I really enjoyed myself over there.
Captain O — Google review
We saw this place sold Engkanto beer, which we really enjoy and we're blown away by the experience. The cocktails were delicious and balanced. The bar bites were tasty. The atmosphere is hip and the music was a DJ set with transitions. We were here pretty late on a Wednesday night, around 11pm. It was pretty quiet inside, only 2 other groups and us. I'm hoping it was quiet because it was a weeknight. This place is worth the hype!
Nathan F — Google review
Nice cozy place. Service is great, Miguel can explain you every drink or suggest you one! The music got loud after a while but nothing so annoying.

✨🍹 Exploring cocktail bars while traveling is an absolute blast! 😍🌍✈️ What I adore is getting to taste unique local ingredient cocktails. 🌺🍍🍯 Check out this gem of a cocktail bar that's offering an incredible variety of drinks featuring intriguing local flavors like Ube, pineapple, honey, and more! 🌈🥥🍓 Oh, and let's not forget about the scrumptious food they serve—it's seriously delicious! 🤤 The vibe here is top-notch too, with a friendly and fun atmosphere that keeps the good times rolling! 🎉💃

4Pierre's Craft Beer and Barbecue Cellar

Beer hall
Pierre's Craft Beer and Liquor Cellar is a basement bar located in an old building on the Tomas Morato corner of East Rodriguez. This bar has a cozy atmosphere, where you can enjoy your drinks by yourself or with some pals. They serve up high-quality craft beers from various provinces, as well as cocktails and liquors at reasonable prices.
It definitely has those vibes of hidden Western-style bars. I love the fact that when my mom and I went, there were barely any people. But then again it was a Sunday night. I also like the fact that all of their craft beer selections are Filipino craft beers. I really like their cream ale. I can't wait to try out their other beer selections. They were also playing 40s -50s music which fits the vibe. They also offer GCash as an option so that's a huge plus. Although, they do not have WIFI and the signal's quite bad inside so you gotta have to go out just so you can scan their QR Code to pay but then again the bar encourages you to avert your eyes from your screen and to the person(s) you brought with you. Highly recommend! I will definitely bring other people at this hidden 💎.
Rain — Google review
Hipster beer place that smells like riding a provincial bus on a warm day. Inside is cramped with limited seating. Parking is so so, not too difficult but limited slots. Service was decent and the barkeepers were nice and attentive, but there's an obvious bias and priority between how they treat and address what seem to be regulars and us normies. Beer were hit or miss. Some were really good, others tasted like licking a hospital floor (obsession red ale). Would have been helpful if you could try out the beer before ordering, like what most breweries these days (cubao x, or treeline in robmag) allow. Also, no food. Overall, broad selection, but not very accomodating, in more ways than one.
Sy C — Google review
I arrived at 6pm when they are suppose to open and spoke to some people who said that they open late all the time and wait 30 minutes max waited till 6:45 no one so left. Waste of time if you run a place manage it correctly There is no internet in the area so be warned. Outside seating full of mosquitoes.
Bigote V — Google review
So happy I found this spot! Our group just had dinner in the area and we were craving for beer. Found this via google maps and wasn't disappointed. Great selection of craft beers and tasty food. The one I got tasted like cacao nibs which I really love haha. The labuyo liempo is also really good! The place has a comfy feel to it. Waiters and the owner are also very welcoming. Will definitely come back here to try the other ones!
Mauro P — Google review
Great selection of craft beers, all local, with a good range of different types to try. Alan the bar manager is very knowledgeable and friendly too. The bar itself is hidden away and has a great ambience and style, definitely worth visiting for a beer or three!
Rohan M — Google review
It's a great place to pamper yourself if you like beer. I had the #5 craft beer. 9% alcohol, really tasty, at such a wonderful temperature. The entrance is on E. Rodriguez. I gave FOOD 5-stars, but I was referring to their beer. I'm not sure if food is served because there was no food on the Sunday that I was there. If you like low-lit bars with periody vibes, this place is for you.
Kenneth ( — Google review
Super cozy pub with a classic vibe. Place is full of character and memorabilia and kind of takes you back in time. Great beer selection of local IPAs, lagers and stouts. I love the jazz music they were playing all night when we went there.
Migs B — Google review
I’ve been to many craft beer places here in the Philippines. And I can absolutely say that if you want QUALITY above anything else then this speakeasy place is for you. The master brewer at this place is top notch and knows no compromise. Each beer has its own story to tell and each glass is masterfully done. If you’re a newbie craft beer drinker then you don’t need to worry since the bar tender will guide you through an amazing tasting experience. You’d be surprised what beers can actually taste like. This place is a well-hidden gem here in QC.

The Tap Station is a fast favorite for drinks and finger food near a sports bar setting in Makati Riverside. It features about 25 local and international craft beer variants, including some Belgian varieties. Happy hour (6pm to 9pm) means P225 to P295 for beers.
Great open air bar with 40 beers on tap. Super friendly staff and beer from all over the world, including many local craft brews. Highly recommend and will be back
Kevin B — Google review
Their drinks are great, generally a bit pricey. If you wanna get hammered, you're gonna be spending a lot. The food options are alright, but they're also limited, so you shouldn't go there for the food. Went on a Saturday night and there were a lot of free tables. It's air-conditioned, but since it's not an enclosed area, it doesn't get cold; it can get a bit hot at times, but not uncomfortable. There are board games and card games there if you're into those. They're not in the best condition though. The music doesn't get loud, which is nice and allows you to have easy conversations.
Julian — Google review
Excellent variety of local & imported beers. I tried two local pale ales which were very pleasing! Go before 7pm and enjoy happy hour. The tap room is well-designed with a lot of great memories surrounding the culture of the Philippines. Chill atmosphere during the week and I can only assume that weekends are better. Also, the bartenders are super friendly and make for great conversations. Totally recommend this place! 😉
Reardon M — Google review
The craft beers are great and there's tons to choose from! I love the Berry Red and Manila Hipster which is a hit for the ladies who likes something sweet. But if you're a craft beer drinker then you will definitely want to taste a few other best sellers and favorite craft beers called Hard Day, Ride On and Shut Up. They also have an "EARLY BIRD PROMO" that starts from opening till 3 pm that lets you get a buy one-take one from selected craft beers. Plus this is a great place to hang out with friends after a days work! We are definitely coming back for more!
Amnah ( — Google review
Come for the food and be disappointed. Because the variety is too sparse, and the saltiness too abundant. Come for the drinks, however, and be thankful for the limited menu. The extra brainpower is better spent processing the bewildering variety of beverages on tap. And the saltiness is wonderfully washed down by the drinks. Price is on the high side (get the one-for-one deal if you can). The service is efficient and curt. P.S. establishments that call themselves "hipster" tend not to be.
J U — Google review
They have a wide variety/options of craft beers originating from different parts of the world (most of which are from PH). Good place to have a taste of locally crafted beers. 👌

A go-to place when you're looking for a fun night with the gang. They have cards, jenga (regular and giant) and other games you can play for free; just right for breaking the ice with friends. Several variants of beers to choose from. Quite pricey though.

Pedro Tap House is a small bar in the heart of Poblacion in Makati City that offers a variety of craft beer from both local and international brewers. There are typically karaoke nights on Fridays and Saturdays, with plenty of singers to choose from.
The craft beer (which is brewed fresh at their brewery in San Pedro Laguna, hence, the name) is awesome and the selection is very unique!Try the Beer Flight if its your first time to try 4 different flavours. Try their signature beer Matilde St. IPA (Indian Pale Ale) and their quirky flavours the Pinyeta and Orange Creamsicle (which is nostalgic in taste). And the place is chill and plays 90’s music! Game night happens on certain Wednesdays.
Ma. B — Google review
Amazing craft beers!! Kinda unfortunate that I didn't got a chance to go at their anniversary celebration, and the beers that I got curious at is currently unavailable. What I tried was their procrastination beer, which is good when I partnered it with their tostones (deep fried plantain w/ herby dip). The place was visited by foreigners, main area is kinda small, but they have 2nd floor to accomodate customers when the main lobby is full, staff can communicate well with them (via english). Staff is attentive and will help you choose your preferred craft beer.

Great craft beer bar within walking distance from Burgos street. 12 local craft brews on tap and good tasting spicy bar bites. I had the chicken wings and that was just what I needed with my NEPA and IPA's

Love the atmosphere and the beer variety! I recommend Procrastination Pale for more flavour and Space Out Coffee Stout for the perfect hint of coffee.

Spektral Beer Lounge, which opened in October 2017, is a craft beer hangout located at The Beacon in Makati, Philippines. It serves a diverse range of craft beers with constantly changing taplists, offering options from light to dark and sour to bitter. The lounge showcases an array of flavors including fruits, turmeric, pine, coffee, chocolate, and chili.
This is definitely my new favorite place! Those who love their beer will definitely get a kick out of it. There are 20 different choices of local brews, and there are also bottled local beers. Owner was nice enough to tell us about the place and the beer they serve. She really knows what their business is about. She explained to us the beers we ordered and how they serve their usuals and which beers are available on certain days. Will definitely go back to try more beers!
Kir U — Google review
What you'll first notice at this place is it's ambiance, second will be the not so usual choices of beers they have on the board. It took us literally 30 mins to choose from that list and took samples because we do not have a clue what they taste like. The barista educated and lead us to the perfect beer to fit owns palate. Take a gulp and taste the best types of beer from different countries. I had Lindemans Pecheresse Belgian, a sweet peach lambic beer 😋
Honey L — Google review
Feels like a brewery in Colorado, which is great but draft beers are only medium. Pretty expensive for the quality of beer. They don’t accept credit card. EDIT: Changing this to 5 stars. In a city where there's a ton of gossip, the staff here is respectful and will let you have a beer here without you having to worry about who you're with or what you're talking about. Alan and Roj are the best and work here most nights.
Matt H — Google review
If you're into Filipino local craft beers this place is for you. They have at least 17 craft beers in their menu. If you're lucky you might able to choose from their 20 beers if all are available. The place is big enough for big group of 8-12 or more. Their bar is not bad too. Bartenders are nice too.

Bar Pintxos is a go-to spot for those seeking the art of pintxos and tapas. The menu boasts an array of topping combinations, such as the Jamon-Allioli, Salmon, and Foie, perfectly paired with their Sangria. Additionally, don't miss out on their A+ tapas like Huevas Estrelldo and Rabo de Toro. This place is known for its decadent bites bursting with Spanish flavors and potent sangria.
[Late post - Nov 2024] We went here for the first time back in 2022 for Mother’s Day, and it has been a family favorite since then. We love their paellas and salpicao! Highly recommend 👌🏼 and of course the pintxos with sangria, can never go wrong. Here for dad’s birthday and they were so kind enough to accommodate my special requests, and they even gave my dad a cake! :)
Stephy F — Google review
Too expensive! According to the server, the white sangria carafe is good for 2-3 pax. When it was sent to our table, my boyfriend can gulp it! Anyare?! 😂 The cheese in the burrata salad looks a tad weird, parang confused siyang cheese and also, the best dish there is the dish we could not distinguish — apparently it’s the smoked pimiento that looks like a strawberry syrup doused tongue?!

One of the best spanish options in Rockwell! The location is convenient, with a relaxed atmosphere that's never overly crowded. The menu offers a great variety of small bites, and the foie gras is a standout—rich and perfectly prepared. Whether you're looking for an intimate spot to enjoy authentic Spanish flavors or just craving some exceptional tapas, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!
Franchesca G — Google review
Went to Bar Pintxos in Rockwell and had various pintxos (Salmon, Regatta, Piquillo, Brie-Cabolla, Burratta), paella, gambas, lengua, and churros. The pintxos were better than the mains, we liked the salmon and the regarta the best. The churros were ok, although was paired with a chocolate spread instead of hot chocolate. Can’t make a reservation through their social media, would need to call the restaurant if ever.
John V — Google review
Good food! The paella is perfectly cooked. The squid is soft and the sauce blends well. The beef Salpicao is soft and taste good. Steak and mashed potatoes with the oil is good. Churros crunchy outside soft inside Espuma is delicious!!
Wendy L — Google review
We ordered jamonburguesa (bec they brought it back), salmon pintxos, foie pintxos, chopito frito, and Berenjenas. Sad to say, the quality of food is different already. I hope it’s just a branch problem. The patty of the jamonburguesa is overcooked, it’s dry and not as tasty as it was. They said they changed the recipe and used wagyu instead of their salpicao meat (old recipe) hence the price change to 950. Even the bread wasn’t toasted like it used to. The foie and salmon pintxos, they served it with stale baguette bread. We had to ask for a for bread replacement which was properly toasted and tasted fresh. These pintxos are not cheap ha. I think the salmon is 238 and the foie is 610pesos. The chopito frito is alright. The aioli dip also tastes a little different. It’s a bummer because we’ve been going to Pintxos for quality Spanish food since 2017.

We had a confirmed 7:00 PM reservation for seven, including three senior citizens and one PWD. By 7:20 PM, our table was nowhere in sight. Instead, we kept being directed to sit at a “temporary” table for four, as if cramming us in was acceptable. The staff member “assisting” us, Mitch, delivered nothing but empty apologies, no real updates, and repeated attempts to seat us at a table far too small. This wasn’t just poor service, it was complete disregard for reservations, planning, and basic hospitality. Shameful treatment of guests, especially seniors and a PWD.

Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a fun night out, The Palace KTV is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality brews with friends.
The venue was great for our Christmas Party last Friday night. But as to the food for the Buffet table, watch your food the staff eats the food with the rest of the catering crew without permission. The 1,000 per head is not even worth it if you could not appreciate the food at all due to lack of it.They even forgot to serve the braised food if I did not noticed.😔👎🤨🤔

Gino's Brick Oven Pizza is a cozy spot offering Neapolitan-style thin crust pizzas and classic homestyle dishes. Their menu features playful toppings like salted egg, buffalo chicken, and kesong puti (local white cheese) on their pasta dishes. The Salcedo Village branch boasts a typical Italian diner decor with a brick oven churning out freshly baked pizzas at an impressive rate.
We were told we can get seated at the cafe next door if we wanted to (Tyler Cafe). Pizza was so good that my kid would only let us try the crust. Salad and pasta both good! Portion is just right that you still have space for Cello's donuts and coffee.
April R — Google review
Food is always great. First time to try the buratta, added prosciutto for the experience and it was better with it. Pizza still a chef’s kiss with the chili honey. Salted egg pasta is a fave so still very delicious. Parking was a bit difficult considering this is Makati. You can also order from the adjacent cafe which was Tyler. Waiters were very attentive to our every request.
Choyce M — Google review
Food was good. Mushroom Pizza is soft dough with chunky cheese texture . Arrabbiata sausage pasta also good. Service was quite rush (?). I was still looking and holding the menu but the staff took it from my hand. the shop at that time was not full or crowded. What are you rushing for(?)

Great service. Water was served as soon as we sat down. They even asked if we wanted cold or hot. Water was refilled constantly. Waiters were attentive. The atmosphere was inviting and the AC was sufficient. The pizza was just right. The texture and the density was perfect. The taste of ingredients was fresh and delightful to eat. This place came prepared for us. Hence the 5 stars, which I rarely give.

Exquisite pasta and pizza! You really can’t go wrong with Gino’s pizza. The delivery took longer than anticipated but the quality of the food makes the wait all worth it. The quantity is also good. One of a few definite go-to places when craving anything Italian.

Wow! Some of the best Italian food i’ve had. The pasta was delicious you can tell it is fresh, the pizza was amazing and their own hot honey is the perfect addition. Also the pies for desert and amazing. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is so homely. Would definitely recommend.

You can’t go wrong with Gino’s! Every time we’re too lazy to think of a place to dine, we end up at Gino’s. 😹 Love the salads and brick oven pizzas.

Service was very great! Water was served immediately once you sit down and the glass is refilled when low. The restaurant was clean and inviting with good AC. We ordered the ricotta pancakes and Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella. The ricotta pancakes were not my favorite. It was very flat and not fluffy. The flavor tastes very oily. You can't taste the pancake itself. The Margherita pizza was very good! The bottom crust wasnt soggy but crispy. I wish they added more cheese though. It was smaller than what I have imagined. The small portion size seems to be a common theme here because I see the pasta dishes are also small. The food might be expensive for what you get but the flavor is there.

This review is about the Buffet. Definitely best value buffet in Manila currently. Food is excellent and the price is perfect! (395php). You cant find better value buffet in Manila. I been eating here many many times, I wouldn't go back if the food wasnt good. Ah delicious meatballs and Janssons temptation :) Highly recommend at least to try it, Im pretty sure you will not be disappointed! Here's the English translation of the description: This is a Western-style beer pub where you can enjoy billiards with your companions while drinking beer, whiskey, cocktails, and more. In the afternoon, they have a 1+1 promotion around 5 PM or 6 PM. During happy hour, a bottle of beer is 85 pesos. After 8 PM, live music starts, making it a popular spot for many foreigners to enjoy.

I enjoy the almost American bar atmosphere, I don't have to wait for a server to get my drink, sometimes the bartender takes my drink order. Fabulous brunch which they are proud of. Afternoon atmosphere is super chill. Give it a try!

One of the best places I've been at. They are serving generous amount thats worthy off the price you payed. Drinks could be a bit expensive as they do not offer liquors in bottles except for beer and such.

Fun place! During the day there is a The Filipino Buffet that very affordable, just around 400 pesos. It’s of basic Pinoy dishes, and pretty acceptable on padre Faura street walking distance to Robinsons place manila. Eat all you can in the afternoon and Party 🎉 all you can in the nights! 😋😋😋😋
Carlos C — Google review
An attractive looking bar with OK live music. Beer (Pilsen) was P120 rather than the usual P100 so a little expensive. Service best described as appalling, lethargic and slow. Sat at bar and after 15 mins had not been able to order anything. Eventually had to shout at staff which was rude but the only way to get a beer. Place was busy but not packed. Requested a menu but this never arrived. Eventually, another customer took pity on me and fetched one somehow in a few seconds. Decided food would probably take a few years to arrive so went elsewhere to eat so cannot comment on food quality but it looked expensive. This could be a good bar but desperately needs a professional manager to address the ghastly service which, smply put, was unacceptable.

Located in Poblacion, Makati, Alamat Filipino Cuisine is a popular resto bar that offers a modern take on traditional Filipino dishes. The concept of the restaurant highlights Filipino folk culture with a twist to appeal to the younger crowd. They serve generous portions of delicious food perfect for pairing with their local craft beers and unique cocktails. Visitors can enjoy tasty pulutan (Filipino tapas) and thoughtfully crafted cocktails while immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Poblacion.
Alamat in Poblacion: A Nostalgic Experience Alamat has always held a special place in my heart, being one of my go-to spots for cocktails about a decade ago. Revisiting it felt like stepping back into cherished memories. We were greeted by a smiling staff who promptly seated us outside, which, despite the humidity, was surprisingly cozy. Sitting on the high chairs and looking out at the lively street brought back so many memories of my younger days. The street’s buzz and energy added to the overall charm of the place. The attentive waiter quickly took our orders, and our cocktails arrived in no time. Though I can’t remember the funny names of the drinks, they were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic—perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness that didn’t overshadow the liquor. The ambiance was spot-on, a unique blend of Spanish and Filipino styles that felt both cool and nostalgic. Overall, a 5/5 experience. I’ll definitely be back, especially to explore their food menu. The amazing staff and the nostalgic vibe make Alamat a place I’ll always treasure.

Cafe
La Cathedral Cafe is a charming alfresco spot located in the heart of Intramuros, offering stunning views of the historic Manila Cathedral. With its European rooftop restaurant ambiance, it provides a picturesque setting for casual gatherings or romantic dates. The cafe's old-world vibes and panoramic vistas make diners feel like they've been transported to another part of the world.
Tucked just behind the cathedral, Le Cathedral Café is a place that truly combines a memorable dining experience with a stunning view. The moment you step in, you’re greeted not just by the welcoming ambiance but also by the majestic sight of the cathedral itself. Dining here feels unique and serene — especially when you can hear the gentle ringing of the cathedral bells in the background. It creates such a charming and calming atmosphere that makes every visit feel special. The café offers a great selection of food and drinks, with something for everyone to enjoy. I’ve had the chance to try several items, and each one left me impressed. Their carbonara is rich and creamy with just the right balance of flavors, while the Korean BBQ was savory, satisfying, and cooked perfectly. Their nachos are also a must-try — crispy, flavorful, and generously topped, they’re perfect for sharing (or enjoying all by yourself!). On the drinks side, I highly recommend their matcha frappe, which is refreshing, smooth, and has just the right touch of sweetness — perfect whether you’re pairing it with a meal or sipping it on its own. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is their service. The staff are consistently excellent — warm, attentive, and very professional. What really stands out is how personalized the service feels; they pay close attention to details and make sure guests are comfortable and satisfied throughout the visit. It’s that kind of hospitality that makes you feel valued as a customer and encourages you to return again and again. Overall, Le Cathedral Café is more than just a place to eat — it’s an experience. The combination of a beautiful view, the soothing sound of cathedral bells, delicious food, superb nachos, refreshing drinks, and top-notch service makes it one of my favorite spots. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking for a place to keep coming back to, this café never disappoints.
Nico A — Google review
The cafe is quite popular because of the cathedral next to the cafe which makes it aesthetic. We ordered chicken Alfredo but there were no chicken in it😩. Just a small little piece. Not worth it according to price. Also we tried ordering cakes but only 2-3 cakes were available so didn’t get the cake we wanted. What’s the point of putting it on menu if you are not going to serve it.🤷‍♀️
Angel M — Google review
La Cathedral Café definitely wins when it comes to ambiance. The view of the Manila Cathedral, and the open-air setup, is absolutely charming. It’s a great spot for dates, casual hangouts, or even just some quiet time with a nice view. As for the food, it was okay, nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. The presentation was nice, but the flavors didn’t quite match the vibe the place gives off. You’ll enjoy the experience more for the setting than the menu. Overall, it’s worth visiting at least once for the aesthetic and atmosphere. Just manage your expectations with the food, and you’ll still leave feeling like it was a lovely time.

07/31/25. Rooftop view of La Cathedral. We were supposed to have lunch here but upon reaching the rooftop... tables with a roof cover were all occupied. The servers were kind to mention that we might browse their Menu QR code to select our food while we wait so 4 Stars for service. Spoke to a couple having their meal who said that the food was just ok. We were hungry so we went to. another restaurant. So 3 Stars based on others' feedback. Only 3 Stars for Atmosphere since going up... there was a lot clutter by the side of the stairs...visible during the day. Our experience could be different when night falls since we will be mesmerized by the glowing roofline and dome of La Cathedral.

I ordered an iced latte and a banana muffin, and both were really good. The place is cozy, well-maintained, and has a charming atmosphere. The best part is the beautiful view of Manila Cathedral, which makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended for a relaxing coffee break in a lovely setting.

Came here for a snack and to get a better look at the cathedral. The place was wide open and there were a couple of customers around. I could see the catherdral from here and its pretty good. The menu is kinda pricy since its near a major tourist spot. I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich. The dont give service water, what a shame. They sell you bottled water though. My sandwich came after 15mins later. The sandwich came with some chips which was nice. The salmon tasted like prepackaged salmon, it was kinda soft and slimy. It was kinda gummy at times. The sandwich had cream cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce which was all right. The chips was calbee honey butter chips. If you are going to eat here just order coffee or cake.
H F — Google review
The food is sort of OK, not that bad. Although for the price, it is. It's right next to the cathedral, and it's outdoors. I guess the aesthetics make up for the food quality. It's very hot though, we had dinner around 7pm and it was very uncomfortable. There weren't enough fans. We requested for one but no one ever got back to us. They also don't accept credit card payment yet.
Kaoru T — Google review
The cafe is located at the third floor of the building. I did not ask but I don’t think they have an alternate way that is accessible for wheelchair. The place has a nice ambiance. Dining is alfresco with the view of the belfry of the Basilica. They have electric fans if you want to cool down if the weather’s too hot for you since it’s at the rooftop. I was craving for pasta but it wasn’t available at 10 in the morning and the only available food are the Breakfast meals. I hope pasta should be available anytime. Please man 😅 The menu is accessible online via QR code (see pics). Food price range is ₱250 at the minimum. I ordered Beef Tapa with includes garlic fried rice, sunny side up egg, and atsara (pickled papaya) for ₱360. Foods were served fast probably because there were only 4 of us customers there. Online payment is also available and the service charge is 8% of the bill. I also like that they have several types of coffee which are not available in many coffee shops such as the Cortado and Flat White. I would love to come here again and experience dining maybe in the late afternoon, and then wait for sunset.

I really love the rustic vibe of this restaurant—it’s such a cozy spot to dine in. The Shanghai was flavorful, though the wrapper was a bit on the thick side. We also tried the Kare-Kare; the serving size was on the smaller side, but the flavor definitely made up for it. What stood out the most for me was their iced latte—absolutely loved it! The coffee beans have such a rich, smooth flavor that any coffee lover would appreciate. If you’re into good food and great coffee, this resto is worth checking out.

Located within and next to the Plaza San Luis Complex, this delightful bar was a pleasure. Ordered some potato cuts - "handcut potato fries" - which were tasty and nice with the sauces. I also ordered some local craft beers and beers on tap. The IPA from the tap was decent, although a good bit pricey at about 8 Euros - wow! So then after went for some bottled beer - Engkanto Coconut Stout - which cost considerably far less than the draft beer at 3.70 Euros - and tasted much better. It was very good stout, I really liked it. Service was fine and friendly, the décor was relaxing and we had good seats upstairs overlooking some of the plaza. It was raining heavy outside so it was the perfect place to kill an hour or so waiting for the weather to improve. Overall I really liked this bar, had good friendly vibes and the beers were of a high quality - but some of the prices were a bit eye watering, and also it was a bit far away from the main drag which was a bummer for me as I did want to return but decided it wasn't worth the journey out here as it closes early enough.

I’m a local, born and raised here. My boyfriend’s white but I cook him proper Filipino food all the time, so believe me when I say he knows what the real thing tastes like. This place? A total scam for tourists who don’t know any better. Everything is overpriced and flavorless, like they’ve never eaten the food they’re trying to “recreate.” We ordered sinigang and pork belly was hard as a rock, vegetables half raw, soup tasted like warm dishwater with calamansi. You could literally make better sinigang from a Knorr packet and still have change left for dessert. They had this “PINAUPONG MANOK SA ASIN NI NANAY” on the menu, calling it a Filipino classic. I’ve been alive long enough to know that’s a lie. It tasted like chicken steamed in sadness and table salt. Nothing about it said “Nanay’s kitchen,” unless Nanay forgot how to cook. To top it off, they served my boyfriend’s coffee half a cup full. Half. Like we paid for the privilege of being shortchanged. Stop eating at these fake “Filipino artisan” restaurants hyped for tourists. They ruin the reputation of our food and make foreigners think this bland nonsense is how it’s supposed to taste. Go eat where locals actually eat. This place is a joke.

🟢 Place is very cozy, very relaxing, particularly on rainy days when no one is around 🟢 Staff are very friendly and accommodating 🟢 Outlets are available, though not for all tables 🟢 Kinilaw: can be requested not spicy, which is nice, and is served with coconut milk 🟢 Streetfood Sampler: a reimagining of sorts of street food. The Betamax is made with tofu, fishball doesn't taste like your typical fishball, and the kwek-kwek taste most closely resembles the real thing. 🟡 For those who chill easily, bring a jacket 🟡 Cell signal is very weak here. No WiFi either 🟡 If vacant, take the window side table. It has the best view in the restaurant bar none. 🟡 Food is overall okay, but not bad. Definitely a vibes restaurant more than a food restaurant

Hotel
The Mini Suites - Eton Tower Makati offers simple and comfortable rooms, complimentary parking, and a gym. It's located in Makati, the business center of Manila, making it perfect for travelers who need to be in the area but not entirely dependent on the hotel. The pool can also be used if you want to take a break from work or just relax.
The location is really great — right in the heart of Makati and close to everything: Hospital, Ayala, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Landmark, SM, and even not too far from BGC. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, so it’s super convenient. The reception staff was very nice and helpful. I arrived quite early in the morning after a red-eye flight, and she kindly allowed me to check in by 11 AM instead of the usual 2 PM — really appreciated that gesture! When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised — it was bigger than I expected and actually nicer compared to my last stay. This time, the room even had an air purifier or diffuser, so it smelled fresh and relaxing. However, it’s only on the first day and they took it out on the second day. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless as well. The cleaning lady was friendly and did an excellent job — replaced all the used towels and even changed the floor towel properly. The only downside was that the guests in the room next door were talking loudly until past midnight, which made it hard to rest. It seemed they were not mindful of other guests who also needed a peaceful stay. I wish the hotel could remind all guests to be more considerate to maintain a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for everyone. Overall, it was a great stay — clean, comfortable, and well-located, with friendly staff that make the experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again!

If you just need a place to stay in the heart of Makati, this is a good option. It's not pricey and the location is nice. Don't expect a lot from this suites. You literally get what you pay for. The room is small. I got a tiny one. But I'm here in a solo trip so it doesn't bother me at all. I just need a place to stay so I'm good. I think what's disappointing is the lack of table in the solo rooms. I had to improvise by putting the phone down and using that small table as my table. Location wise you will have everything you need. I still like this place. WARNING: PREPARE A CASH AS A DEPOSIT WILL BE ASKED BEFORE YOU CHECK-IN.

I needed to make a last minute reservation for a few days so I decided on Mini Suites. The location is great. Whatever you need it's nearby. Fir it's location the price was much better than expected. The staff is on top of everything and more than willing to assist you. The room that I chose is just what I needed. At the same time the comfort and cleanliness is very good. If I need a room in the future I will keep this place in mind. It's more than worth worth it.

I stayed at this hotel because I had an appointment at the Belgian Embassy and it was the closest one. Location-wise, it was perfect. However, the room itself looked pretty old and definitely needs some maintenance. The price also feels a bit steep for the room size, but I guess you’re really paying for the location. I might stay here again if I have something important nearby, but otherwise, probably not. It wasn’t bad at all, just not amazing either.

If you are just looking for a room to stay at mainly to sleep, shower, and not spending much time in it, then I highly recommend this hotel. It is great value for money. The room is very small, it was like a little box with a restroom and bathroom. Well organized and clean. What I don’t like about it is that the room is small and can’t open the window so the only source of air is the air condition. It is not easy to move things around and be comfortable. I like the location and how quiet it was there, and the staff are very friendly and nice. The wifi was also nice. So, if you’re want a room to just sleep, shower, and relax then go for it I highly recommend it.

Your right in the heart of Makati CBD. You have many food options if your like me who loves to walk and explore places. You will love this affordable hotel. We stayed here for a night to be honest the room was cramped and lacks some basic furnitures, but to be fair we did avail the standard room for 2 PAX. So if your a remote worker you might not appreciate not having a chair and table. Its literally from doorway to a queensize bed. This is can be remedied though if you can work while in bed (not sure for long periods or entire shifts) To be honest it's not a big deal on our end and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Imagine for just 2,000 pesos you get access to a pool (4ft deep max), a gym, decent wifi speeds and a location arguably one of the best in the city. I will highly recommend The Mini Suites and we are looking forward to another stay perhaps availing a better room next time.

Got scammed. The rooms are small and there is no desk. If you shower, the water flows to your bed and everything gets wet. Also not possible to open the windows to get the humidity out while the air circulation is not good enough to get rid of it. I asked multiple days for room cleaning, they didn’t come for multiple days. I paid my deposit with a credit card, they let me wait 1 hour in the lobby hoping I would go away and not giving it back to me. Kind of destroyed my experience. The location is ok, but better to rent an Airbnb in this area I noticed later.

I stayed for 3 nights at The Mini Suites – Eton Tower and honestly, it was not a restful experience. The room itself is quite small, which I expected from the name, but what really made the stay uncomfortable was the lack of soundproofing. You can literally hear everything from the next room — people talking, moving around, even the sound of running water from their bathroom. It felt like there were no walls at all! I don’t understand how a hotel like this didn’t bother to invest in proper insulation or noise control. Because of that, I barely got any sleep during my entire stay. Three nights of hearing every little noise… Jesus. If you’re looking for a peaceful or relaxing stay, I honestly wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless they improve their soundproofing.

Plaza San Luis Complex, situated within Intramuros in Manila, is a remarkably attractive destination that showcases the beauty of Filipino-Spanish architecture. This complex comprises five replicated houses representing various periods of this architectural style. These houses include Casa Blanca, Casa Urdaneta, Los Hidalgos, El Hogar Filipino, and Casa Manila. Nestled along General Luna's cobble-stoned street, this plaza offers visitors a captivating experience filled with historical charm.
Plaza San Luis is a small heritage complex in Intramuros, Manila, with colonial-style houses inspired by Spanish-era architecture. It has museums, shops, and cafes, showing what life was like for Filipinos during Spanish rule

We passed by to get to Casa Manila. We didn't try any food but saw many vendors from coffee shops to ice cream shops. Some even serve full meals. They also have souvenir shops. You can explore the complex which was made of cobblestone. The whole vibe felt like you're not in Manila but in the streets of Europe. The seats are for customers of the restaurants, it lacked public sitting area and could use more tables/chairs/benches unless the goal is just to keep people flowing in and out. Limited shade so plan your visit because it can get really hot and humid midday.

The complex is composed of restaurants promoting Filipino culture. Expect some pricey rates but could be a good place to invite foreign friends.

It's a place to visit when you want to reminise the Philippine history.... The park is very clean and good for a visit by the whole family... This park is bounded by the pasig river and overlooking both old and new taller buildings on the otherside of the river... If you want some tranquility time to talk and spent sometime with soneone this is the right place for you...

A place full of charm. Barbara's Café is a great place to dine. Good food, excellent service, and relaxing ambiance. Batala Bar is also another great place. I love the combination of nostalgic/modern vibes. Their Bomba Longga is divine!!! The Salted Caramel milkshake is also a must-try. I also love that Batala Bar observes CLAYGO. So if you're the type of customer who just leaves your table to be cleaned up, this place is not for you.

The most quaint and pretty complex! Great starting point to explore Intramuros. Highly recommend for a taste of local tours, food, and quirky stores. The stone walled plaza is cozy, intimate and other wordly.

The place is really charming. You feel like you are on a set of a old movie. It feels good to have a drink there out of the noise of he streets of Manila. This Spanish style place will make you have a good time as long as there are not too much touristes walking around.
