Finally decided to satisfy my curiosity! Got their signature "palm sized" chocolate crinkles with Nutella ana a box of midis ( medium sized ones) in South Cotabato chocolate, chocolate chip and walnut oatmeal. The best was the large crinkle as it was moist ( helped by the Nutella) and chewy inside and really chocolatey. However, as expected, it's so sweet. I'd give it a 4/5. The rest are so-so, not as chewy probably because they were smaller. The best among the three was the Cotabato chocolate . In all, nah, ain't coming back for more. I know other places which have better cookies at more reasonable prices.

Love these chewy cookies!!! My go-to is the cotabato dark choco and the macadamia!!! I'll put 5 stars if they allow customers to pick which cookies to add the their trial pack :)

Had these cookies delivered and they were hot and fresh. Got a half dozen and they were more than enough for 8 people with plenty of leftovers. All were crispy outside and soft in the center.

How come they're allowed to use cellphones during working hours? Cashier and the baker. No wonder I've arrived at the store yet my customer's order hasn't been made. They told me to wait for 20 minutes 😵‍💫 caught them using phones then they suddenly place their phones to their pockets rushing as if someone will catch them. The cashier also has an attitude 'mataray'.

amazing!!! ordered 4 cookies via Grab at 9pm… cookies tasted fresh and delicious. i would especially recommend the nutella cookie, it was soft and gooey. 10/10!!

Mo cookies 🍪 newly opened branch at Mall of Asia the cookies 🍪 are good but the softy ice cream 🍦 its not good they imitate Ben's Cookies. The softy ice cream combine with cookie its not worth buying for. Ben's cookies is much better.

Some of their bestsellers are the palm-sized Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Walnut. Strategically located near the entrance to Food Choices, you can pay a visit to grab a quick snack or indulge in a sweet treat after a meal.

The pastries were good. We got croissant and cookies, and a free taste of sausage bread. I also got a Revel bar for takeout, it's not very sweet and the staff said they used dark chocolate for that. The service was good, they are accomodating. The ambience looks great, except that when many customers come in, the place gets a little noisy.

Sadly, Purple Oven in general has poor customer consideration/service. Not a single bag TO BE GIVEN to carry the stuff bought in their shop. Bought 8 boxes of one of the cakes and I was told I had to buy the bag.......that is terrible! Items are not cheap thus no reason not to give a back. Estrel's, excellent in every way.

At Php 1,100 it truly has value for money compared to its competitors selling premium cakes Their baked goods is also good: revel bars, food for the gods, crinkles Their system where you can order in advance and pre-pay it is truly efficient. At least you can get the cake you want during the holiday season as opposed to the others where you will just settle for whatever that’s delivered 😉

Finally got to try these sweets after months of watching to 'we have freshly-baked cookies, brownies, and croissants available…' from FB reels! Ordered online through their same-day delivery. These sweeten up my well-rested day off.

Twenty Four Bakeshop’s cookies are a total win—chewy, nutty, and perfectly balanced between chocolate and cookie dough without being too sweet. Just the way I like it! Their peanut butter fudge is a bit on the sweeter side, which isn’t really my thing, but it’s packed with walnuts and super chunky, so I still enjoyed it. Definitely a solid spot for a good cookie fix!

I finally had the pleasure of trying almost half of the menu of Twenty Four Bakeshop tonight and not one of their selections disappointed. Their Pistachio LeCrookie is the real deal, an absolute favorite of mine and, if I may suggest, should be one of the bakeshop’s staple. Also, to add to the already wonderful experience of trying out these goodies, the three angels who were working (8/15/25, 6:50pm), made the whole thing even more delightful. All laugh and smiles throughout the entire interaction. A well-deserved 5-star rating and I will absolutely, definitely and positively be back for more!

Ordered here twice. Grabe, worth the byahe!! Love the pain au chocolat and now the Le Crookie!! Sarap always ng croissant; flaky and not too buttery. Will def be back to try more of their pastries 🤤

🍪 Campfire S’mores Cookie – I used to think s’mores were only good on waffles, but this one proved me wrong! The cookie dough isn’t too sweet (extra points for that!) and not too thick either. Loved it! 10/10 ✨ 🥐 Pain Au Chocolat – I’m not usually a chocolate person, but this one’s an exception! The filling was just right, and the bread… I can’t even explain it, but I really liked it! 8.5/10 ✨ Will definitely come back to try more pastries! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Ordered two items. The dark chocolate fudge brownie has the right amount of dark chocolate, it has nuts which helps balance the strong flavor of the dark chocolate. Altho, it was a little bit dry to my preference. The peanut butter fudge brownie has the perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate, not too sweet, the walnuts gives it a little bit of texture and crunch. I like this one more because it is moist 💓 Will try the croissants soon!!!

Serving size per order was a little too much for us. Not a bad thing, I wasn't just expecting it to be that big. Overall, the food was good. Ambiance is just meh, nothing special. Servers could use a little more energy when interacting but understandable considering their work.

Really nice place with a great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast. I tried their fish and chips and it was amazing, cooked perfectly with huge portions and a very reasonable price. The bar area is also a nice spot to relax and have a drink. Everything about this branch makes you want to come back. Highly recommend.

Oldie but goodie! Nothing cutting edge here but still a reliable go-to for American comfort food. I usually get their country fried chicken — always hearty and satisfying. Health buffs may opt for their salmon and grilled chicken dishes instead. They offer great value set meals available daily — great for team lunches!

Chilis here is vert consitent with there food and service. Fast and friendly and good portions. I allways get fajitas at chilis no matter witch one i go its very good.

Still good after all these years. Noticed that their tostada chips were different though. They were thicker, tougher and tasted like the packed ones sold in supermarkets. Sliders were good. Chicken sandwich was ok. Just be prepared to spend. Not used to spending so much for these type of food nowadays with so many selections around. The buy one take one beer sort of made up for it though. Still a nicr place to visit. The restrooms need work though. It seemed that each one had problems flushing.

Really cozy interior and such a nice spot for brunch with friends. I love that they have cauliflower options which is great for someone like me on a low-carb diet. I tried the bibimbap and the serving was generous and filling. It was tasty, though I was hoping for a bit more of that authentic Korean flavor. Prices are on the higher side, and the ₱160 add-on for cauliflower rice felt a little steep, but overall it was still a satisfying meal.

I finally got the chance to visit The Wholesome Table at Salcedo, after hearing about it from friends who rave about their clean, organic dishes. If you're into mindful eating without completely giving up comfort food, this place will likely hit the sweet spot. An amazing restaurant for those looking to unwind and really dine!!!! 10000 percent recommend for those looking to have selections of different drinks, coffees, and food. Our go-to spot for healthy, low-carb meals! You can easily swap regular rice for cauliflower rice — and trust me, the flavor is still amazing. 🥢 Our favorites are the poke bowl and the inasal (so good!). 5 stars. Toby’s Estate in Makati—egg sando is god-sent, easily a must-try. The matcha was a bit of a letdown, but the coffee was really good. Nice vibe overall and worth coming back for.

I had the adobo sourdough and paired it with iced latte. It was my first meal of the day and so I wanted to have something savory. It’s a nice take on a classic Pinoy dish. The adobo was laid on top of a bed of melted cheese on the sourdough bread, some arugula leaves, some tomato slices and a sunny side up egg. The balsamic vinegar drizzle added a nice sweet and sour dimension. It also came with a side of crispy sweet potato chips. I’d expected the adobo to be drier, flakier. I found it sloppy and wet. It was dripping with the adobo juices which was tasty but the bread underneath turned saggy and spongey in no time. I even stained my shirt with the first bite. Overall, the whole dish wasn’t mind-blowing, it was quite filling and a good dish to have to break a fast. 6/10.

There's quite delicious food and market prices, polite workers team. But the owner uses a dirty trick with hidden service fee that you'll be known after charging money only. It's a red flag for me. Never more.

My go-to place for Saturday morning coffee. I used to order the flat white and decided to try their honey latte which was amazing. I order honey latte every time I pay them a visit. Staff are friendly and efficient.

The apple + cinammon tastes ok. Nothing special. The chocolate macaron's filling leaves a sweet taste in my throat which made it a little itchy. It's too sweet for my tastebuds. The danish mango is bland. 3/5. I'm not sure if I'll go back here but not anytime soon.

We buy here frequently because we really love the pastries, but sadly I got served with an old box that we think was already used (see pictures attached) I ordered six pastries to- go and asked for it to be in a box since I will be traveling… The staff could have just told me that they didn’t have a proper and CLEAN box. I didn’t notice this at the store because it was placed inside a paper bag when it was given to me. Was just disappointed by this because they are handling food and hoping it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

July 13 at around noon, i purchased Almond Croissant. Very disappointed. It tasted like plastic/ carton. No butter taste.. it must be an old stock. Not baked fresh. Quality is down the drain .

Great pastries and coffee at reasonable prices. I go for the simple ones like ensaimada and croissant, pain au chocolate, whichever is freshly made or just came out of the oven, which will always be the best ones. The place is full most of the time but worth the wait esp if you want a regular hang out for that morning or afternoon merienda. If in a rush, not a great place to go. (And headsup, there is a cashier there that cant seem to correctly manage queues and wont apologize even if she skips you over. )

The Bakehouse baguette was phenomenal — crispy on the outside and soft inside. The butter croissant was flavorful and top-notch, one of the best I’ve tried. The Americano was strong and bold, exactly the kind of coffee I love. The ambience was chill, comfy, and very pleasing to the eyes. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy quality pastries and coffee!

One of the prettiest bakeshop around, those on display are edible they're just so pretty. Ensaymada was good, chicken pie was the bomb. Coffee was strong just how I like it. Sandwich was good but the hard bread (think it was sourdough) was not to my liking. We go again after walking!

Have always wanted to try this place because I always see their beautiful pastries here on Google Maps. They definitely did not disappoint and we were lucky enough to find a spot inside. The atmosphere was great and we were able to have a productive two hours inside the cafe. Their staff were also very nice and calm. Lemon Meringue Tart — LOVE the meringue and if you like sour desserts, this one is for you! Chorizo Focaccia — Not soggy at all and the bread itself has great quality Pasteis de Nata — a must add-on to your order, small but such a staple Fell in love with Bake House Manila and we would love to go back here, and hoping we will also get a spot!

Anyone who loves breads, cakes, and assorted pastries should not miss this place! They also have great coffee with dairy free milk alternatives ☕️ opens as early as 7am in the morning, a perfect place to unwind alone or with company. Though the cafe only has limited seating available. My personal favorites are chicken pot pie, bacon and egg danish, croisssants!! I love how flaky and warm it is when they serve it to you as you dine in. Complimentary water and wifi are also available on-site. This hotel bakeshop is even more affordable than other cafes in BGC area! They have wide variety of cakes too! They also offer granola, cookies, chocolate bars, and reusable cups for sustainability 🙌

Dropped by Bad Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes – everything is huge, including the drinks! We ordered the chicken tender bites (320) and got a massive serving – great for sharing. Tried both the *horchata latte (210) and Spanish latte (210), and the drinks were generously sized too. Definitely good value for money. The place itself is really nice – cozy vibes and a great spot to hang out or catch up with friends. Would love to come back and try more from the menu.

I am surprised by the cafe! I thought it's small, so despite how many times I have heard this one I didn’t budge not until today. I had their honey garlic friend chicken upgraded with adlai rice and I am surprised by the generous service and the quality of the food. For my drink, I had their ginger lemonade, and while I find the drink a little more on the sweeter side, I am happy with the amount of ginger I could taste. The atmosphere here is very light and very welcoming. The baristas are fine. I also appreciate the plugs available for customers to use. Over all, I'll return here to taste their coffee and cookies.

This café is truly a hidden gem in Makati — perfect for coffee dates or getting some work done. They serve great food and drinks, and everything on the menu is worth the price. Decent coffee spot, provocative name. Hehe. The espresso was alright, and the calamansi merengue pie was a generous portion, so for me it was far too sweet. The service staff was generally nice. A lot of people there stationed doing work on laptops, so it almost feels more like a co-working space.

randomly saw this cafe around the area. Went here on a holiday, thus, it’s not crowded. Tried their cold brew latte but it was just okay or maybe not my liking. Service was good, staff were nice. Great place to chill and read a book. However, there was a group of people who were very loud at that time. Thus, the atmosphere was 3/5.

I sometimes stop by M Bakery to pick up cakes or muffins. My favorite is definitely the Vanilla Cheesecake (₱305)—it’s absolutely delicious. The crisp cookie-like crust at the bottom paired with the buttery aroma from the cheesecake itself makes for an amazing combo. The whipped cream on top isn’t too sweet either, which I really loved. That said, the muffins and some of the other desserts are on the sweeter side. Another downside is that the shop is small and doesn’t have tables inside, so you can’t really sit down and enjoy your cake and coffee leisurely.

Finally had the chance to visit M Bakery. I've been eyeing this place for a time. The real star for me? Their Pistachio Kadayif Chocolate Pudding Parfait. 💚 Inspired from the viral Dubai Chocolate. It’s so light, creamy, and just addictive—I swear I tell myself I’ll only have a few bites, then suddenly the cup is empty. 🤤 The place itself is small and cozy, but there aren’t a lot of tables and chairs, so it’s kind of a “hope you get lucky” situation if you want to eat there. Most of the time, I just grab my treats to go and enjoy them somewhere else. Still, between the friendly staff and how consistently good the desserts are, I always end up coming back.

I think this was the first branch of M Bakery in Manila. I love the cupcakes especially the vanilla ones. They are also known for their banana pudding, which now comes in different flavors. The icebox cakes are okay too, but some are a bit too sweet. I am curious to try the scones. Has limited dining space in the store. It's connected to the mall but also has a separate entrance on the side.

I tried the Calamansi Cheesecake for the first time ,zesty, creamy, and surprisingly refreshing. The Pistachio Kadayif Chocolate Pudding Parfait was a standout. It had a distinct, elegant flavor that stayed with me long after the last spoonful. And the Pistachio and Chocolate Ice Cream? Incredibly creamy , better than many so-called “gelato” shops out there. This place is a dream come true for dessert lovers. I can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. Highly recommended! 🍰🍦✨

The classic banana pudding was good, a little bit sweet, so the small size was a good amount. The kadayif in the chocolate pistachio chocolate pudding was soggy so I didn’t find it to be good, but my husband said it had a good flavor. I would recommend it to be assembled at order and for there to be chocolate chips or chunks as the chocolate flavor was lacking.

One of Manila's beloved dessert shop. Come for the cupcakes and stay for everything else. They make wonderful desserts for all you dessert lovers. Must visit when in BGC.

This place seems lost as a nice bakery is the last thing you'd expect on busy P. Ocampo street. Becky's kitchen specializes in cakes and baked goodies such as brownies, lemon squares, food for the gods, Cherry fudge bars, etc. They also have cheese cakes but I think their best cake is the potato cake. This place can get busy so ask for your number from the guard as soon as you step in. This place is also cash only and has only street parking to which only 2-3 cars can fit in at a time. My all time favourites here are the prune walnut cake, the potato cake and their lemon square.

This store is old and nostalgic in a sense, the staff here are accommodating and polite, however the price of their products are quite expensive. Parking is difficult. The team at Becky’s is friendly and approachable. The brownies are absolutely superb — rich, fudgy, and full of flavor. However, I had high expectations for the chocolate fudge cake and, unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet them.

Such affordable pastries and cakes, They taste so good too! I love the architecture of the place, how an old house turned into a bakery. The smell inside the establishment is also amazing! Recommend giving it a visit when you roam around Manila. Their chocolate fudge is a must!

Its been more than a decade since i was here. Dropped by to get my all time favorite walnut brownies and the swiss chocolate cake. Prices have always been reasonable and still are. If ever you are in the area, come here for the sweets! To add, i do appreciate the guards ensuring the max number of people to be let inside, thus the chairs for those waiting outside.

I first noticed this place a few weeks ago and I thought it’s a restaurant, judging from its name. It sparked my curiosity and eventually I was able to visit the place. Surprisingly, it’s basically a cake shop. We went on a Saturday noon and there’s a queue outside, which made me more interested. They only let about 3-4 customers in at a time. There were cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other pastries displayed. I don’t encourage you to purchase their products via Grab as the driver also need to line up with other customers and wait. The cake shop doesn’t offer dine-in options; it’s all take out. I can only imagine eating their ensaymada on one of their tables, with a cup of hot chocolate to complement.

It’s sooooooo hard to get in touch with this place to order!!! Is the owner like 1,000 years old?! They don’t accept orders via text messages or FB Messenger. I have to place a call everytime i want to order. So fine, i did. I called thrice on a Monday, apparently they’re closed. I called a month later and ready to place my order, Trina gave me a cellphone number that isn’t registered in Gcash. So i told her that. She said, “Tawag nalang po kayo ulit.” Because she has to check. I called back again a couple of hours later. She said that their Gcash is full and can’t accept payments anyway. “Tawag nalang po kayo ulit bukas”. OMGGGGGG. I have to CALL AND CALL AND CALL AND CALL THEM?! SAYANG SA ORAS. When i could’ve placed an order for 2 minutes via messaging service. As opposed to wasting almost 1 hour of my life going back and forth with their old ways, why don’t they just allow messages?! What’s so wrong with that? Even their address and contact details for pick up they have to dictate to me pa one by one. I initially wanted to order 200 pcs of their bottled good to include in our giveaways. The staff just said, “Tawag ka nalang po ulit.” Ano ba tong tindahan na to? Ayaw mag benta? Lagi nalang hinahabol ng mga customers? If they owe an answer to a customer’s query, customer pa dapat mag fofollow up ulit ng question and not them chasing the customer (yes, the word used in banks is “chase” when you need to give feedback to the customer)?! What a waste. Stuck in their old ways. PS: I called the next day and spoke with Irene. All orders are placed, confirmed and i asked when the items can be picked up. She said i can have them picked up anytime. So i booked a Grab rider and he was there in 15 minutes. Grab rider called me to say that the items weren’t ready and there’s a bit of a waiting period. This restaurant is old in structure and even in its ways. It needs to be revamped if it wants to go on for the next years. Same situation. Sobrang hirap mag place ng order. Took DAYS of texting with one of their staff back and forth, with no definite instructions on how i can pay because “Hindi alam kung aling Gcash ang mag receive ng payment,” so i’m stuck here 1 day before pick up date and i still don’t know how i’m supposed to pay for the tens thousands worth of order? Very inefficient.

The worst subway ever! terrible service and I got the smallest sub in my life! They ignored me for 10 minutes and were busy doing nothing. I tried to get ther attention but nothing! I called them 4 times and another customer also called them for me because they ignored me. Ok, maybe they were all having a really bad day. OK, OK, whatever. But sorry, the food ever worse. It wasn't the normal size! very small bread and poor toppings! Just look at the picture I took. Also there were no onions, no ketchup and the vegetables were very old. The taste was still good, but after the big sub I was still sooo hungry. I paid 280p for this?! I can't believe it! never again!

My husband and I had an awesome experience here. I have so much respect to companies who give people with disabilities chances to live a normal life...they have some in their crew...they are so nice and very customer relatable. Big respect for both workers and the company for making a great match.

I was welcomed by a jolly crew, which gave me a good impression of this Subway branch. It’s cute and tiny, but without the claustrophobic feeling. They prepare their sandwiches neatly and swiftly. I hipe they also serve juices and shakes.

The place is cozy and follows with the pandemic protocol. The staff were courteous. However, the sandwich was cold and not toasted, and so was the chicken. I also find the dressing/sauce bland.

Really good coffee place although a bit pricey. We ordered the cereal milk latte and spanish latte. They have pastries but we didn’t order any because we just had lunch at a gamjatang place nearby. I guess, I’ll just have to go back to try the pastries next time. Place had a cozy and hip vibe.

The cafe has a good indoor and outdoor space for customers. I went at night, around 7pm and it wasn't crowded. I ordered the Holy Sh*t, which was delicious. I also ordered the Triple chocolate chip cookie, which was divine! It melted in your mouth. To drink, I ordered a Latte, which was ok.

June 2025 Local cafe and bakery in the small and narrow streets of Poblacion. The coffee ☕️ is pretty good quality and pairs well with the food offerings that they have. Though the place is small and also reflects on the stock they have as well. Service is counter and accommodating Place is small and quiet with a remote working vibe The parking is very limited to one or two slots then you have to contend with the problematic streets. Poblacion is best explored on foot. Ideal for solo and very small groups

Stopped by this coffee place in Poblacion around after lunch and was surprised to see it pretty busy. We ordered a regular latte, their Iced Tiramisu Latte, and this chocolate chip cookie they call 'Jericookie Rosales.' The regular latte was a bit underwhelming, tasted kinda flat. But man, that Iced Tiramisu Latte was almost heaven! That first sip was just divine – I think it's that salted cheese foam. It could've used a bit more coffee though. And that cookie? Shaped a bit funny, but seriously one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in a while. Super chunky and packed with really good chocolate. On the downside, the service wasn't great. The baristas were just going through the motions, felt pretty transactional. Parking's a bit scarce there. They do have a smoking area and a restroom, though.

Second time here. The drinks are good, nothing really special but good. The Ambiance is good and the service is good. I just hate that the cups are small but you can always buy two but still. Anyway, it’s a good find. There’s a parking near here.

Loved the coffee. Pastries really are top tier and worth its price. As for their service, it needs some work. Cafes are supposed to have a peaceful ambience but three of the ladies at the counter are talking so loud and I find it really distracting/irritating. I know that they only have 2 customers that time including me but I hope they would lower their voice next time. I decided to have my order to-go cause I can’t really handle it.

I love the cookies, the moment I crossed the street I could smell them. Their very yummy and would love to see it being sold in more pop ups. I've tried all the main 6 cookies, and every single one of them were worth it for the price. Its big, crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside.

I ordered White Matcha, Dark Chocolate Pistachio and Oat Pecan. Tried the matcha right away and it didn’t disappoint! For me it’s not overly sweet. (It’s sweet but just right 😄) Excited to try other flavors too. The store is soooo cute and aesthetic. I was able to charge since there’s an outlet and table to accommodate short stay in the store. The staffs are friendly. And they have initiatives for donations benefiting strays, children and ph seas!!!! I supporrrrt! Overall a great experience ❤️

This is my third purchase of cookie here. The first one's the classic chocolate chip, second is biscoff, and now I have yet to try the red velvet cheesecake. It looks yummy! The first two were amazing!

Their staff in MOA are so disrespectful. This afternoon, I went to the counter to inquire about the drinks on their menu, but they just dismissed me even if there were only a couple of customers ahead of us. One of them even made face, like the customers were nothing but nuisance to the store. When it was finally my sister's turn, it was as if she was being discouraged to order beverages -- she was told that she'd have to wait 10 minutes for the drinks, and true enough, their staff took around 10 minutes to finish preparing *each* of the two drinks we ordered. So disappointing. Even the beverages themselves were not on a par with the quality we've come to expect of this brand.

The shop was easy to find. And the line was manageable if you came early. We went there just around 9am then amazed at the number of people lining up. They are quite strict to two person inside the room as it was a bit cramped. The dream. Cake was totally worth it. It has the hard chocolate top and melt in your mouth cake. It wasn't even that sweet just the right amount. However the parking area was limited only to two vehicles and it was difficult to find one around the area specially during weekdays and rush hours. It's best to stick to deliveries if you want convenience.

Nice cute Lilliputian cafe restaurant. Cappuccino was good but price, at 140 pesos. It is 100-120 pesos almost everywhere. We had the beet root salad, very yummy, the chicken sandwich, also very good and the granola banana 🍌 bowl, very delicious. The service is good, the pricing is on the high side, the ambience is cute, the crowd is young and laid back, overall a wonderful little cafe bite place. We stayed about an hour there and we didn’t bother much by the frying stickiness which was obvious and I’m sure they should do something about it. We may go back as the food is really good, the pricing though is on the high side and the frying smell should be fixed as a very friendly feedback.

Buckys has a small space but great industrial interiors. The service is nice and prices are a bit expensive. I ordered their Original Parfait and it tasted amazing. There were nuts, marshmallows, and chocolates for toppings. It was very interesting to eat as there were new ingredients that can be tasted and even til the last bite you still tasted something new

Love the Original. Chicken smells and looks appetizing. Too bad we already had our Pinoy Dinner fill for the evening in Alamat which was just above it but all the more reason to go back.

TL;DR: The "Bucky" cost P300 and I was sad that it's only a small cup of average-grade parfait the size of my hand. Long version. Here goes: I wish our expectations were managed before we ordered and paid, because all we were presented were sample blocks of different flavours of brownies and a check list of toppings with soft serve ice cream. Naturally, we thought it's going to be brownie a la mode, not a small cup of parfait with bits of brownies in it. The brownies don't even seem to be the main ingredient. As for its taste, it was extremely sugary. Even my bf with a sweet tooth couldn't handle it. There was no balance or dimension: just a flat, diabetic sweetness that scratched our throats. (We ordered the Spicy one, with toppings that were recommended by the staff.) We just wanted to have a good time share a lovely dessert. The staff is alright, the ambience seems lovely, but the Bucky soured it. There are unhealthy food, even expensive ones, that still make you feel pleasant afterwards. This parfait, however, with its price and extreme sweetness just made us feel regret. With P300 we could've saved it for our next dinner date. It's the price of a full date-dinner for one, or a fancy ooey-gooey dessert with impressive presentation and/or memorable taste. I hope this review helps you improve the menu item, its price, or the management of customer expectations.

Soft serve ice cream is truly one of the best in the metro. It is good as a plain sundae but if you want to turn it into an ice cream that is out of this world and you only have 1 topping to add - it MUST be the brown butter polvoron! They have a pretty decent fried chicken too, matched with creamy mashed potatoes that just melts in your mouth! 👌🏻

Scratch in Comuna is open only on weekends, but when they do the place gets packed...fast. I came in before opening time of 9am on a Sunday and there was already a long queue to the door of the store. Foodies, weekend cyclists, Gen Z peeps and others who don't want to miss out on the latest buzz on social media flock to this place like moths to a flame. I looked like the odd man out because save for a couple who brought along their Mom, I was the only senior in the group. It's their sourdough and other baked items that really make this place standout. On weekdays, they make use of their location as a commissary for their baked items to supply to other restaurants, wholesalers and bakeries. Food - 5*, the Meatballs with Tomato Sauce (₱480, with senior discount was charged ₱372) was a perfect brunch item. The sauce balanced acidity with sweetness from well sourced tomatoes or paste with creamy cheese mixed in to make it more interesting. You could douse the succulent, tender and meaty balls with it or "drink" it like a hearty soup because they just blend so well especially with a bite of their buttered and pan fried sourdough bread. Great find, I will surely be back. On this visit, they did not accept cash payments. Only debit/credit cards and GCash or electronic payment. Good call for them so they don't have to stock up on coins or small bills for change considering the long queues they pack in. Service - 5*, the servers were extra nice to me since I was the most mature in the room. Normally, water and utensils are self-serve but they were very gracious to provide me with everything I needed. Parking - on a regular day in the mornings till about 6pm, parking is not a problem because they have ample space at the Comuna Compound but at nights and weekends, it gets easily filled and street parking in front of the compound is no longer allowed like before because Pablo Ocampo is a main Street leading out to the highway. Better take Grab or take a driver. Great for me, I just walk to this place because the house is about 200m away.

Everything was good, but the soft pretzel with burnt honey cream was kinda life-changing. Simple, unassuming yet for lack of a better word, perfect—definitely the underdog. The Turkish eggs and meatballs were yum but the latter could get overwhelming. The dressing in the mortadella saved it from being just okay.

Great place for brunch, with a decent variety in the menu. Very reminiscent of a European neighborhood cafe in both vibe and flavor. Got the Mortadella Sandwich, Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, and the Scone with Butter and Jam. The Mortadella Sandwich was super huge, probably enough for 2-3 people to share. This was the most expensive item on the menu but the portion size pretty much made up for it. It had pesto, fresh mozzarella, A LOT of mortadella, and a balsamic dressing that was on the sweeter side. Taste was very balanced, leaning more on the fresh/sweet side. The Meatballs come in 3pcs. + 2 slices of focaccia. Meatballs themselves were cooked really well. The sauce was ok, just a mild tomato sauce. Would recommend to try at least once as its P480! The scone was more English-style - soft and airy (almot like a pancake) rather than the drier, crumbly/flaky American ones. Flavor wise, it wasn't too buttery. It was also topped with flaky salt so you get that saltiness at the end. The bake was great too, crust was PERFECT while still being fluffy on the inside. Came with standard butter and strawberry jam. Service was great, and food came fast despite the line. Would recommend to go early! We arrived around 10 minutes before opening and there were already quite a few people waiting outside. Was full by 10AM. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Parking is quite spacious but does get filled up fast too. Had a great experience overall. Definitely on the pricier side, but it is expected for the area. Portions and quality more than make up for the price 👍 Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.

WORTH THE HYPE! Finally tried Scratch and it did not disappoint. All the food served to us were top tier. They tasted really good plus despite the amount of people, the quality did not suffer. Will definitely go back!

The good: - Food is aesthetically pleasing and service is decent to great. - Excellent sourdough bread, chocolate chip cookies rank among the best we’ve had. - Jam, cheese, butter, and salt were the perfect accompaniments to their bread. The Sourdough Plate is, literally and figuratively, their bread and butter. The bad: - The mortadella sandwich wasn’t served hot. Can forgive the meat since mortadella technically classifies as cold cuts but the rest of the sandwich was cold. Not sure focaccia was the best bread to use; it was too thick for a comfortable bite. - The Turkish eggs and the chocolate almond cake with cardamom sauce were polarizing. The use of sambal was inventive but it overpowered the yogurt and eggs. Nothing they can’t fix by asking the customer how much sambal they want. For the chocolate almond cake(?), I understand the sentiment to provide a sweet-salty contrast but cardamom leaves a particular note which isn’t for everyone. - The coffee (at ₱180) doesn’t offer great value for money. There’s a coffee shop two floors below cups of which we noticed were on other people’s tables instead of their coffee, and for good reason. - The tres leches olive oil cake (?) was just okay. Creative but nothing too delicious nor groundbreaking. Place is full in the morning so try to go later in the day. Like most people have said, the place has great vibes. I really tried to like the food but my girlfriend and I walked away feeling underwhelmed, and the vibes weren’t enough to justify the experience with the food. There’s a lot of potential, especially with the sourdough. Might change my mind with the meatball dish and still willing to give it a whirl, and at a much later time so parking won’t be difficult. Didn’t take photos of the rest of the meal after having some of the Turkish eggs.

Goods from Scratch in Comuna, Makati is a cozy café that lives up to its name as everything is made in-house. The space feels calm and welcoming, perfect for a quiet brunch. I definitely loved their coffee, pretzels and mortadella sandwich Just a heads-up: parking can be limited and there’s often a queue, so plan accordingly if you’re driving.

Good thing my family and I got there before it opened because the place filled up very quickly. I can understand the hype about this place. Everything we ordered (photos below, but forgot to take a photo of the olive oil tres leches cake) was really good, but the winner was the meatballs with a couples slices of their sourdough bread (a must try!). The staff were all friendly and made an effort to connect with all the patrons, which is not an easy thing to do, but they were such pros at it. Definitely coming back soon!

Non-drinkers may opt to spend the night with the milk and cookies. It’s a classic platter served warm and freshly baked. Also a fan of the Grilled Cheese. They are open 24hours from coffee to cocktails.

Favorite neighborhood bar. Must try: praline pecan waffle (!) so good. Everything I've tried on their menu did not disappoint. You can't go wrong with the usual recommendations: cookies and milk, grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, lasagna. Other noteworthy items: steak frites, falafel, basket of fries with Odessa sauce, and the interesting combination of the chocolate chicken wings.

Good food and hefty serving. I ordered their BBT Sandwich. It's good for two people with plenty of chips. I think that was grilled chicken, brie, tomato and some bacon. They also have a good selection of cocktail and drinks.

disappointed! being your regular customer we used to call and order in advance for the buy 1 take 1 amaretto cocktails. When we called again and ordered in advance for 8 orders suddenly one of your staff said that we can not do that anymore... Is that how you treat your REGULAR CUSTOMERS??? I was asked how come we can not order in advance anymore, she said it has been a policy since the year started. When in fact we were just there 3 days ago.... When we call again and asked for the manager the same staff is blocking our complaint and said that they do not have one on duty.

Just a backstory, my go to froyo store was llao llao, but then I'm craving it at the moment and I don't think if rob manila has it. So as I was walking to the restroom I saw blk513 and immediately went there after to try their selection. I could say it's somehow pricey but I think their price is reasonable cause they have big servings. I ordered their spiced cookie for 190 php. They have another option for 220 i guess, you can customized it by adding 2 crunchies, sauces and I forgot the other one. So question, is it good, well yes. My craving was satisfied.

Highly Recommended! Price and Quality ratio is balanced, you really get what you pay for. The cookies are way better than what you buy in commercial places and in bazaars. It's big, chewy and just the right balance of sweetness. The Hainanese chicken rice is also better than ordering from restaurants. All of these still tastes good even if consumed the next day. Looking forward to seeing additional dishes in the future!

Famous amous is one of my favorite cookie places in makati. I will admit that it is quite pricey for a cookie place. They charge P520 for 200g and P780 for 300g. I personally always buy 200g which I would say is enough for 2-3 people. The cookies are bite sized and delicious. They have soft and crunchy options for many of their flavors. My favorite flavors are the original chocolate chip soft cookies and the chocolate white chocolate chip crunchy cookies. I think it is fun to get one of each texture and then alternate between eating both!

I order a lot online but Aly's Cookie Corner has to be one of the BEST pastry shops I've ever tried. Made my orders yesterday, got them today, and oh boy! Fresh out the oven! Dark Belgian Cookies are soft and chewy (naubos agad) Red Velvet Crinkles nila is a 15/10! Sobrang warm pa and hindi tinipid sa creamcheese (naubos din agad) but the Choconana Biscoff Cheesecake Loaf is the real deal! 100/10! My gf doesn't really like choco banana loaves, and she ate half of my order 🤣. Kudos to the seller for the smooth transaction and for being very responsive. I hope more people get a chance to order para di lang kami yung happy kids. Overall, we're super satisfied and we're 100% re-ordering! You rock! 👌🏻
