Steak house
La Cabrera is an Argentinian restaurant known for its delectable steaks and romantic ambiance. The Makati branch exudes a rustic charm with wooden elements and vintage photographs adorning the walls, while the EDSA Shangri-La parilla boasts old-fashioned interiors, booths, bars, and private dining rooms. The restaurant offers tender and perfectly seasoned steak options such as rib-eye and sirloin, grilled using a unique patented broiling technique over special charcoal to preserve their natural juices.
Great atmosphere and nice steakhouse located privately at the side of the building. Food was good with plenty of sauces accompanied with. Good choice of drinks to accompany as well. Overall a really nice, cozy and intimate ambience for dinner.

Had dinner here, the 3 of us my fiance, me and our friend and we got steak. We spent over 15k total but the food , service was great. My fiance really like their steak and probably well get back again soon
JIZIL B — Google review
I'm from Argentina. This place is a COMPLETE disaster. I came with high expectations because this restaurant in Argentina is really good. Here it was a disaster. The 700g asado del centro was full of fat. FULL. Disgusting. See the attached photos. It's a shame. And the price is almost 100 USD !!! I feel cheated and sad. Worst food experience in a long time.
Max — Google review
Great place for our last night in Makati before heading back home. We ordered 2 types of steak - ribeye because I like some fat in my meat and tenderloin for my husband and son who prefer meat over fat. They were both awesome and seasoned well. We’ll definitely come back when we visit the Philippines again.
Camille P — Google review
Had a great meal here … service is top notch! Great recommendations from our server for all the food we ordered. Loved the cheese dish that they made, was super yum! The salad was also very nice. My chicken was juicy and tender, and the steak was well prepared and seasoned. And it comes with so many sides! Definitely a good dinner.
Melissa E — Google review
Was able to finally come back after a good while and it did not disappoint! Service and atmosphere is impeccable.. just how I remember it. What we ordered: 🍽️ Baked Camembert con Chutney de Manzana 10/10 loved how simple yet flavorful it was - the Camembert and Apple chutney really complimented each other. Foie gras 10/10 I wasn’t able to get the exact name but my God was this delectable! The foie gras was cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth while the sauce which I think was made with some wine reduction was “lick-your-plate-clean” good. Dipping bread in it was heavenly. Premium Entraña 10/10 Cooked medium rare, it was tender and hardly needed any seasoning (you can really taste the meat!) but as die-hard condiments girly I can’t help but try it with almost every condiment they had available (which was a lot) 🍷Lagarde Malbec 2022 10/10 Always a good choice ❤️
Andrea V — Google review
Never had Argentinian Steak...specifically Entraña Steak; very tender, very tasty and full of flavor...Provoleta as appetizer, with matching cold and hot side dishes..not to mention the chocotorta for desert...yumm!!

I had an amazing experience! The steak was absolutely delicious. The ambience was also great, with a cozy and intimate atmosphere that made it perfect for a night out. The service was top-notch and our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great steak and a lovely dining experience!

Steak house
Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar, located within the Shangri-la Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, is a contemporary American steakhouse and bar run by Chef Nathan Griffin. The restaurant offers a wide selection of dry-aged beef as well as classic American cocktails and wines. With its upscale ambiance and extensive menu of steaks, seafood, and gourmet comfort food, this establishment is popular among those seeking high-quality dining experiences.
Really good steaks and service, the restaurant is quite cold and dark so I recommend coming at night time. The large selection of steaks made it possible for everyone to be able to pick something they like. For a 5 star hotel restaurant the food wasn’t that expensive (still not cheap). All the sides were really tasty especially the broccolini. Furthermore they have a nice selection of cocktails
Sebs K — Google review
The food here is excellent—especially the Porterhouse Steak, which was amazing! The servers were very friendly and accommodating. We also inquired about their private dining options since we're planning to bring our family next time. They have one semi-private room that fits around 8 people, and another larger, more private room that can accommodate up to 15. The restaurant has a fancy ambience, and since there were fewer people during lunch, we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing meal. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
Denise — Google review
I opted to try the in-house steakhouse restaurant during my stay at the Shangri-La The Fort, Manila for the first time tonight and was not disappointed. The customer service was top tier from the moment I was greeted at the front desk to the time I finished my meal. Everyone was very accommodating and greeted you with a smile. As far as the food, I ordered the Caesar Salad & the Black Market MS5+ Black Angus Ribeye Steak. Both were excellent & the steak was cooked to perfection (temp: medium well). They also provided a tray of different sauces, mustards & finishing salts to accompany the steak. The sauces & salts I tried were tasty but honestly, the steak alone was superb and did not require them. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I will definitely give them another try during my next visit. Total price before tip: P5995

FYI: there is a “dress code” no slippers or Crocs Full disclosure we showed up with a party size of 11 people AND not dressed to the level of the environment and ambiance for Shangri-la 😂 and I do not apologize for it. I really felt like at first the hostess was trying to shoo us away. When I asked for a table for 11, I was told they were full, so I gave her a I ain’t buying that look. So she said they could only accommodate 6 of us… then I gave her the same look again… then she said she could give us two tables but we’d be split up on different parts of the restaurant… then I gave the same look again… she then said they were able to give us two tables - one in a private room with the removable wall and a table beside it and that satisfied our needs 😁. So after all that and Even with the dress code - my two sons wearing crocs - they were able to accommodate us by “hiding” us in a private dining room area 😁. After we were seated it was a whole different vibe. The wait staff was wonderful. We were also taken cared of very well by whom I assume was the manager. Drinks: we ordered cocktails and wine. As with any place in the Philippines (causal or fine dining) beer selection is lacking. I am used to having lots of different micro brews to choose from. I’m not really a San Miguel fan or the other large scale breweries offerings. Food: we ordered ribeye steaks filet mignon roast chicken lamb chops pork chops lots of sides and risottos. We appreciated the availability of various options that had something for everyone. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Summary: it truly was a fantastic experience and definitely an occasional experience. Our bill came up to ₽50,500. The value for the meal I would say is comparable to what you can get in the United States for 2 people at steakhouses like Peter Lugers in NYC. To pay that price for 11 people is an extreme value.

Amazing 🤩 food experience and a very warm staff that ensures one has a good time. Wide variety of liquors options too. Loved the element of the names given to the knife 🔪 used for cutting into the well prepared steaks 🥩

We had dinner date for 2 to celebrate my birthday. Food was great - all flavorful and of top quality. Service was good and they have a well crafted atmosphere that made our overall experience a 5*. We want to go back there soon.

I’ve eaten more steaks than I can count—enough to qualify for a loyalty card at every cow pasture in America—but this? This was one of the best steaks of my life. Each bite was a mic drop, a love letter, and a standing ovation all at once. Juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned—like my taste buds got front-row tickets to a Broadway show where the only act was “steak done right.” Service? Over the top—attentive without hovering, the kind of care that makes you feel like royalty instead of just another hungry carnivore. Atmosphere? Warm, rich, the kind of place where conversations linger because nobody wants to leave. Cocktails? Mixed so perfectly they could probably negotiate world peace. Yes, it was expensive, but not in the “sell a kidney on Craigslist” way. More like, “treat yourself and still sleep fine that night.” Final verdict: five stars. This isn’t just steak—it’s an experience, and I’d happily sign up for the sequel.
J S — Google review
Pricey and swanky, but really really good food. Great cuts, with the smokiness of a josper grill and a nice char on the outside. All sauces and seasoning condiments are included - you don't need to choose! Just have it your way. For those special occassions. Good service as well.

Great place! The third best stake I had all over. And the best place for all the food I had in Manila. Fantastic interior which creates a great atmosphere. Greatest service. Incredibly rich choice of wine. Stake was REALLY amusing perfect in size and done as requested. Sauces were perfect and side dishes great. Highly recommended place.

Great experience. Our visit is from march the 16th 2023. The meat was really delicious. Medium rare. The starters was decent the same with the dessert. We had two bottles of red wine, the Emilio Moro 2019. Did a great company with the meat. Service and attendance from the staff was good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. You can easily see and feel, it's a fine dining place. A bit pricey (for the meat), but overall it's worth it. Decent price for our choice of wine.

I was skeptical. Wasn’t sure I could get a good steak in Manila, but this place impressed! All courses were very good. Steak cooked perfectly, peppercorn sauce pushed it over the top. Good selection of wine and liquor too.

Best steak in the philippines I am quite a picky eater but everything served was delicious. The ambiance is perfect for formal dinners.

One of the place wanted to visit pre covid, finally fulfilled. Ambiance is good, steaks are superb. Price are steep, but you get a qualify of what you paid for which i think is worth it.

This restaurant probably has the best steaks in Manila, though the side dishes aren't as good as it used to be, the salad and the bread served at the start is still great though. The food is a bit expensive but it still feels like it's worth it.

Hidden Gem. Excellent Quality and Value. Lunch sets are really filling. Serving sizes are generous. Was able to get a table for a same day lunch reservation but the place only has 7 tables so really advisable to call ahead and reserve.

Restaurant
Wolfgang's Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener has earned a stellar reputation for its unwavering commitment to quality and attention to detail. Renowned for its 28-day dry-aged steaks, the restaurant offers a dining experience that guarantees consistently flavorful and perfectly cooked steaks. The precision in cooking beef ensures that each dish is nothing short of perfection. While the prices may be on the higher side, the exceptional quality justifies it.
Had an awesome experience! The service was next-level — super friendly and made us feel right at home. The steak? Absolutely spot on. Cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and seriously some of the best quality I’ve had. We were celebrating our anniversary and they even surprised us with a dessert — such a thoughtful touch! If you're looking for amazing food and even better vibes, this is the spot. Already can’t wait to come back!
Eleazar S — Google review
Steaks 🥩 of course always the best . It’s the reason why if we pay this much for quality meats then why isn’t the service just as superb in quality ? Bread placed on table without any description. We figured out it was opinion bread afte smelling it . Bread not warm as well. Special steak sauce was delicious but no one told us about it or described it . We just saw it on the table and used it. No introduction to any of the food except the steaks. When steaks are introduced they sound scripted and low tone barely can hear the secriotion the usual aged details etc .. was not enthusiastic very robotic . All not just our server but all on the floor had wrinkles aproned w stains on them . The table linens all wrinkled as well not crisp - maybe it’s part of the ambiance ? Rugged look? But other Wolfgang’s elsewhere like USA or Singapore it’s drips ironed and presentable . The manager came to our table and gave us coffee but it was someone else’s order . Quickly said sorry and ran away turned around embarrassed . Most of the staff just need more training instead of dragging their feet . Maybe over worked ? The bag accent is a good idea to place bags in that was a plus aside from the delicious steaks but it service should not be finished just bc it’s a popular restaurant . Our bill was over 20k it was worth it but not for the service quality to match it .

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse at BSC Manila offers excellent steak quality in a stylish setting. Service is outstanding – the staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything is top-class, though also very pricey. Perfect for special occasions.
Marten M — Google review
Worst and most expensive burger ever. We left the visit to this restaurant at the end of our travel and it was a total disappointment. After 1 minute, the service asked us if we were ready to order. If you want the expensive steaks, you can stay in the restaurant area, if not you stay in the bar or outside of the restaurant!! The Katsu Steak Sandwich was rare, they never asked me which doneness I preferred. After the first bite, I don't want to gave back. The only good thing, was the beer!
Carlos V — Google review
This place makes you feel like royalty. Despite heavy price tag, their steak are cooked to perfection. There is only a handful of Peter Luger type steakhouse in the Metro and this is one of the best there is. The servers are attentive and kind. The restaurant looks like a posh dining room of a European home.
Benedict S — Google review
This was my first time in Manila, and without a doubt this restaurant made the trip unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding—every member of the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. The cocktail selection was world-class, the menu was exceptional, and the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked. The oysters were incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for the warm attention and for making me feel so at home.

THE Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. People have been hyping this restaurant ever since and it did not fail to deliver. We are only able to dine in here because of a friend who treated us by celebrating a major milestone. The place is obviously overwhelming but the question needed to be asked is if its all bravado, and is it really worth the hefty prices? We tried the Onion Soup. The savory clear soup was behind a layer of baked cheese on top for an ultimate savory experience. The pefect appetizer to start off a once in a blue moon dining experience. We are off to a great start. The chicken soup was forgettable. There is nothing special about it. We ordered two kinds of steaks because we figured, it is definitely going to be a while before we come back here so we might as well go all out. We ordered the dry aged steak and the tomahawk. We wanted to see the difference between the tomahawk and the dry aged one, if there was any difference. The tomahawk was juicy, with the right medium rare as we have requested. Nothing more to say. Perfection. The dry aged one felt like it was abit less flavorful and juicy compared to the tomahawk but I’ll be frank it might just be beyond me to taste any difference between the who if I’m to be honest. The extra price you pay for to get the dry aged isn’t worth it for me, just go with the regular steaks. We are also lucky enough to be able to dine next to Manny Pacquiao and his family during our visit. We asked if how come the waiters do not request to take photos with him and they said he is a regular here who dines here at least once a month. Our total bill racked up to beyond ₱23,000.00 for a party of three and all I can say is that it isn’t honestly worth the price for me, but maybe someone else can do a better job than me in reviewing this place. This a place reserved for grand gestures and should be maintained as such, unless you are wealthy. Everything was obviously perfect but relative to what you are paying for… I’ll leave that up to the diner to decide.

We had a great time with the family. Treated them with a massive Tomahawk! Staff was very attentive and they even had live music on a Thursday evening! Price tag is of course high but not bad for special occasions.

Steak house
Finestra at Solaire Resort Entertainment City is a sophisticated Italian steakhouse that perfectly balances elegance with a relaxed atmosphere. With plush booths and stunning views of Manila Bay, it’s an ideal spot for steak enthusiasts. The menu features not only USDA Angus beef but also exquisite options like Japanese Omi Wagyu and American Wagyu from Snake River Farms, ensuring a delightful experience for meat lovers. For those wanting to sample the best, the Meat Sampler offers a taste of all three premium cuts.
We had an awesome and memorable experience during the Sunday Brunch of Finestra. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by Mr. Mauro (Manager) and by Chef Andrea (Exec Chef). We felt important because they knew my name and was expecting our party. Our servers, Marwen and Patrick, were equally attentive, always made sure that we have what we needed (drinks, another round of oysters!!, plates changed...) and made us feel royalty by attending to our requests. The brunch spread was delicious, from the cheeses to the desserts. The highlights of our dining experience were the seafood tower and the roast section of the buffet! I had a great time enjoying fresh salmon and beef cooked a perfect medium rare — it was a taste of an Italian Sunday, indeed!

Overall, a great experience at the steakhouse with excellent service. The house bread paired wonderfully with the balsamic vinegar. However, the risotto fell short, resembling spaghetti more than expected. On a positive note, the Caesar salad greens were delightfully crispy, and the complementary chocolate was a sweet ending to the meal. 🥩🍞🥗🍫
Wendy L — Google review
I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience made me feel like I had to share. The food itself was okay, but considering the price point, it really didn’t feel worth it. We’ve had meals at other fine dining restaurants that cost less and yet offered service that was on a completely different level. That contrast stood out the most to us. We expected a little more attentiveness. Of course, we understand the staff can’t just focus on us alone, but at the very least someone should have been checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Instead, it felt like we were mostly left on our own. Service is often what elevates a dining experience, and in this case, it fell short. Luckily, being in Solaire, the location and ambiance were still wonderful, and that helped carry the night to some extent. Perhaps our choice of order wasn’t the best, and we can accept that part of it might be on us — but still, attentive service should make up for things like that. Even the complimentary cake they gave us, while a nice idea, ended up feeling underwhelming and didn’t add much to the experience. Maybe I expected too much based on my past dining experiences, but when you go to a place like this, you expect not just decent food, but also warmth and care in how guests are treated. Unfortunately, that was missing for us this time, and it left us feeling disappointed.
Ronald S — Google review
Prepare yourself as they changed their menu a lot recently. Customers can no longer have meals freshly prepared after ordering from a menu — except for the seafood tower. It's now mostly buffet style. A lot of the old dishes are gone too like foie gras and eggs benedict. Still, food is high quality and a better option compared to other "luxury" buffets in the country. The tiramisu was delightful. Expect world class service of course.

This restaurant has class from the moment you enter, it's cozy and offers a good view of their Chefs busily working in the kitchen. The atmosphere is cozy, warm chandeliers, cushiony semi circular seats for more intimate gatherings. Food is great by the way. The service was par excellence and quite impressive too. Good job to our server Raphael! We enjoyed the surprise birthday cake and the treats as we billed out. 😊

Porcini Mushroom Soup was too salty for my tasting and the Creamy Spinach side would’ve been better if paired with the complimentary bread (which was really damn good btw). The Japanese A5 Wagyu was the highlight of the night for me which was seasoned very well and had almost melted in my mouth thanks to its medium rate doneness. Tiramisu was mid but we topped the night off with red wine, complimentary limoncello, and grappa. Overall, it was a nice Italian place with a perfect ambience for a post-work dinner.

Pretty great ambience, but since I'm more of an Asian cuisine gal, I wasn't blown away by the European food. The cheeses were great though!!

The first time we had dinner in Finestra we were a foursome. Service was great. Food superb ‼️ This time I took my family for birthday dinner, all 17 of us. I boasted to my family how great the food is and service excellent in Finestra. BUT Sept.26,2025, FRI, didn't measure up to our expectations... Food took long to be served, the Ravioli taste was quite difficult to define, the Duck dish was a bit on the dry side, though the steaks were served quite well. For a table of 17 guests, we expected a minimum of 2 waiters, at least. Alas, there was only one. He looked harassed and panicky at times☹️ It will take awhile for us to visit Finestra again, if ever💔

Nestled within the luxurious Marriott Hotel in Manila, CRU Steakhouse is a popular dining spot for those craving top-quality steaks. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated ambiance with its dark wood interiors, dim lighting, and modern decor. Open-themed kitchen adds to the elegant atmosphere. The menu features an array of appetizers, salads, and delectable main courses alongside their renowned steaks.
The service is very good. I went alone at that time. The staff took care of my order very well. The food is amazing. It's good decision to dine here. The steak is superb. But besides the steak , the other dish like scallop also tasty! Surprisingly i like the oyster very much. Very fresh, big, tasty. No fishy smell. I had a very good time here. Really enjoy my dinner. If i go back Manila i would like to dine here again. The complimentary bread quite dry .. not for me.

For my 50th birthday last Aug.2, we chose to try CRU Steakhouse as my husband got attracted to the Foie Gras photo that was on their video display. It was our first time to dine at CRU. All the food we ordered was perfect. We ordered 3 servings of the 250g grain-fed ribeye, Onion soup, pan seared scallops, seared foie gras (this was so flavorful!), and we had 2 glasses of Cab Sauv. Service was excellent. My son was feeling cold and the staff lent him a shawl so he can enjoy his meal. Wonderful! Our steak was well seasoned and the doneness was as we requested. Would have preferred a serrated steak knife though 😊 Overall, we will definitely come back to CRU!

The place is nice and cozy we had to get our own private room since they don’t allowed newborn, (just need to spend min.) I’ll give it 4 star overall because the other steak was over cooked we didn’t like the idea of serving it on a sizzling plate, but It’s a good decent steak house if you staying in Marriott Manila or nearby. A must try!

Cru Steakhouse boasts some of the best steak being offered in Manila. I highly recommend the Ribeye Grass fed and Grain fed steak. The steak was cooked to my liking and the sides such as the Cru steak rice and Cru fries are amazing. The Foie Gras for the appetizer was great as well. Service was great and I commend Gail for providing quality service. Overall, Cru Steakhouse did not disappoint.

Good location inside Marriott hotel. Within walking distance with sister hotel Sheraton and other hotels. Nice ambiance and food choice of food. The only comment is the table which we are seated near the see thru kitchen is pretty uncomfortable with leg room blocked with table legs.
Augustine L — Google review
Surprisingly satisfied! Ribeye Steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare). The Gallagher oysters - fresh, can taste the sea - that was incredible with lemon and pinakurat! Bel our server was warm and friendly. Gave us free cake for our anniversary and didn't charge our wine (perhaps because we are Bonvoy members?) but that was awesome!!
Atel V — Google review
Located inside the original Marriott at Newport World Resort, it’s a good place for steak whether you are a local or visiting from overseas. On this meal I tried the 350 grams grain fed (normally has more marbling). I asked it to be cooked Pittsburg style (charred on the outside and medium rare inside). It was cooked to perfection! It was very tender and lots of flavor. In that regards it was a perfect meal. My only complaint was that when I asked for “dry aged” cuts, they didn’t have any. Any respectable steak house should have dry aged meat. If they had that I would have given this place 5 stars. Service was excellent but the place needs interior updating. It’s dated now.
Joey C — Google review
Service was good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The steak is cheaper than at Wolfgang, with portions being reasonable for a hotel price. I highly recommend their grilled Tiger prawns. All grilled dishes come with two sides of your choice, with plenty of options available. The mushroom soup and crab bisque are also very delicious, and the oysters are exceptionally fresh. However, the corkage fee is a bit high at P1000 for a bottle of wine.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Little Tokyo, Seryna Japanese Restaurant is a must-visit for those craving authentic Japanese cuisine. This renowned spot offers an array of delectable dishes, including sushi, makimono, tempura, and various types of wagyu. Known for its premium sushi and signature tempura, Seryna also serves up classic Japanese fare like bento sets and donburi.
We had a great experience dining at Seryna. We ordered the Chirashi Sushi, Salmon Sashimi, Gyudon Set, Katsudon Set, and Saba Kishoyaki, and were really happy with the overall quality, taste, and freshness of everything. The dishes were well-prepared and hit all the right notes in terms of flavor and presentation. Seryna is definitely on the premium side compared to other spots in the area, but in my opinion, it’s well worth the price if you’re looking for authentic Japanese food done right. Highly recommended for anyone craving a reliable and satisfying Japanese meal.

Mar 2025 3/5 rating but it is like a roller coaster of a place that seems to be stuck in the twilight zone. The food was uneven given the price point. Portions are generous and their fried staple is standard. But the grilled selection is a bit inconsistent while some meats may not be fresh. Cuisine is classic Japanese with a bit of old fashioned style and plating. Service staff is well attentive and used to various types if diners. The place is dark, old and may be a bit unsanitary given it has a lot of outmoded design features. Espied a rat crawling down one of the partitions. 😅😅😅😅 The lot is diffinitely outdated and needs to be renovated. Looks more like a night time drinking joint. Sad to say that it had better days in the 80s.
Oliver P — Google review
Absolutely loved the Seryna experience. Kaisen gozen is a lunch special that's basically chirashi sushi with soup, salad, side dishes, and fruit. Chirashi sushi comes with soup as well. The sakura denbu (the pink stuff) helps reduce the umay factor of eating raw seafood aside from the gari. Will definitely come back. I recommend parking at Makati Cinema Square instead, the parking in Little Tokyo is very limited.

I’ve been ignoring this place for so long. Saw a video review and tried it and my gosh. What a surprising place. Good value for money. Not noisy. The quality of the meals are so good! Will come back: Yes Definitely. Btw, thank you to the staff who stored my card when I forgot to take it. Went back and they had it stored and plastic wrapped. Thank you so much!

I LOVEEEE SERYNA!! It’s a quaint place with dimmed atmosphere, serving traditional japanese that feels like food for the soul!! I discovered this place last year & has been my go to when i’m craving traditional japanese food. We got the chirashi bowl, tempura, cold soba, and seafood chawanmushi! Sashimi were fresh, ika was sweet and silky, salmon was creamy, uni was fresh and sweet also!!! ikura has a slight fishy but palatable taste! mackerel had the right saltiness but I prefer more slices since there was only one HAHA We poured miso soup over the rice and enjoyed every bit! The pickled ginger, menma, and lotus root complemented and balanced the flavors. Soba noodles were soft, I prefer a little bite but it wasn’t a deal breaker, I enjoyed the bowl nonetheless! Tempura was good, nothing special! This whole meal was hearty. I freakin love Japanese food and Seryna does a great job showcasing the cuisine. One of many meals that makes me feel like life is worth living HEHE

We ordered japanese staples during our visit like spicy salmon, california maki, and ebi tempura. We also ordered a plate of assorted yakitori for sharing. Service was fast and staff was attentive. There were also a lot of japanese who dine in here. I liked how everything we had was perfectly balance.

Bondi & Bourke, located in Davao, offers a delightful blend of Australian cuisine in a chic and modern setting. The restaurant, situated within a trendy boutique hotel, is known for its sophisticated comfort food co-created by chefs Wade Watson and Patrick McCarthy. The menu features an array of options including grilled kebabs, steak cooked to perfection, seafood dishes, and unique twists on classic drinks.
I just want to commend Boni and Burke Restaurant for consistently delivering an outstanding dining experience. The food is always exceptional — flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making every visit feel special. Most of all, the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. Their genuine hospitality truly sets the place apart. Thank you for being a go-to spot for memorable meals and excellent service. Keep it up!

Our recent visit here was good. The food was truly brilliant—each dish was a creation of flavor and presentation. They served good wine and the Pork belly melted in your mouth.. though I hope they add additional sauces as it felt dry when paired with a slice of squash
Rosa L — Google review
Dining at Bondi & Bourke was such a treat! The ambiance felt refined yet welcoming, and to make the experience even more special, Chef & Owner Wade Watson himself graced us during our visit. We indulged in a wonderful lineup of lamb dishes: Australian Lamb Chops – perfectly cooked and paired with house-made labneh, mint cucumber, grilled lemon, and herbed oil. Fresh, tangy, and herby flavors elevated the juicy chops beautifully. Slow-Braised Aussie Lamb Shank – served with green pea and potato purée, root vegetables, roasted onions, mint jus, chimichurri, and crispy onion rings. Every bite was tender, flavorful, and layered with textures. Truly unforgettable! Lamb Bolognese Pasta – a comforting twist on a classic, with ground lamb adding a rich, meaty flavor to the sauce. Bondi & Bourke truly showcased the best of Australian lamb—premium flavors, beautifully plated, and executed with so much finesse. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a true Aussie dining experience here in Manila.

When you ordered a 600g steak, they gave you 400g +20mins more waiting; When you ordered a Medium-Well steak, they gave you something bloody and ask you how’s the steak, do you want to wait for cooking again… God knows what happened to this restaurant, it was pretty good before, or perhaps I didn’t know it yet.

Bondi & Bourke is an exceptional dining destination that perfectly combines comfort, elegance, and world-class flavors. The steaks are always cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with rich flavor. Their menu offers a great selection of international dishes, each one crafted with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The ambiance is classy yet welcoming, ideal for both casual lunches and special occasions. The staff are professional, friendly, and attentive, making every visit a truly satisfying experience. Definitely one of the best spots in the city for a premium dining experience!

All I can say is wow to all the lamb dishes prepared by Chef Wade Watson. Every dish has a unique presentation and flavor that you will surely love.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bondi and Bourke, and it was a delightful experience. We ordered the seafood pasta, hummus, and Aussie steak pie, and each dish stood out in its own way. The seafood pasta was absolutely fantastic. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. The sauce complemented the dish beautifully, making it a truly satisfying meal. The hummus was smooth and well-seasoned, a great appetizer to start the meal. It was served with freshly baked bread, which paired nicely with the creamy texture of the hummus. The highlight of the meal for me was the Aussie steak pie. The pastry was flaky, and the filling was rich and savory, full of tender meat and just the right amount of seasoning. It had an authentic taste that made me feel like I was dining in Australia. Overall, Bondi and Bourke offers a wonderful dining experience with a diverse menu. The quality of the food, especially the seafood pasta and steak pie, makes it worth a visit. Highly recommended for those looking for a mix of international flavors in a cozy setting.

Food was a hit or miss. Nothing was overtly bad, it’s just that for the price, it was just ok. The wagyu nigiri was tender but it didn’t really melt in my mouth. Like there wasn’t any resistance chewing or anything but it felt like I was chewing for a while but the meat wasn’t disintegrating. Pescado frito was also just ok. Overall it lacked seasoning. The saving grace was the aioli it came with. Without that, the fish didn’t taste like anything even if it was cooked well. You only get a small sauce dish of it though so it’ll only last you 1/3 of the fish. If it was served with chahan instead of plain rice then it wouldn’t need as much sauce. The matcha lava cake was the best of what I ordered, no complaints with that

I had an amazing dining experience at Nikkei Ramen! The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe with just the right touch of modern Japanese charm. The highlight of my meal? The salmon sashimi. Just look at that marbling! 🧡 It was incredibly fresh, buttery, and sliced to perfection. It paired beautifully with the wasabi, pickled ginger, and that crunchy cucumber garnish. Service was warm and attentive, and the presentation of each dish shows they care about quality. Whether you’re a ramen lover, a sushi addict, or just craving something comforting and authentic, Nikkei Ramen delivers on all fronts. Can’t wait to come back and try the ramen next time!

It’s gonna be a habit like every after office to have a cocktail or two here. The ambiance makes me wanna stay and drink more… perfect time to catch-up with friends and loved-ones. My go-to cocktail is the Sake Sangria and it is not to disappoint! Now, I can’t wait to try other mixes not to mention they have happy hour promo as well. Aside from its complimentary chips (loved that it’s served toasted) and maguro sashimi (all time fave), I look forward to try their other delectable food here because the two times I dined here was only for a drink. And now, I promise to myself that the next one will be to munch that maki and sushi! I just wanna thank Ms. Gem and colleagues for always assisting us guests with its quality and professional service. I like the way they explain things and engage with the needs of customers.

Excellent steak and wine! Quite pricey but worth the special occasion. There were a couple of families, group of friends and dating couples. It's a place for everybody. We had the prime angus rib eye. And the red wines by the glass. We were so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of our food. We orrdered the apple crumble and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The acoustics and ambiance were perfect. The music was not loud and the tablea are not crowded. You can engage in a good conversation without having to hear the other table's. Date dined: December 4th. Service: 3 Mixed bag of thoughts for the waiter's service. We came here without any prior reservations and was dressed casually. He did gave a suggestion on what steak would probably fit for our group of four, a tomahawk priced around 14000 PHP. We declined and picked a basic rib eye steak with prawns as side dish. Our pick appeared to disappoint him; I'm not too sure though if this contributed to his cold attitude towards us afterwards. His knowledge of steaks is commendable though. Ambiance: 5 our only mistake here is that we didn't come here to experience fine dining, nor planned to eat steak ahead of time---just picked the resto randomly (since we have our manager to finance whatever we chose) the Ambiance truly is great for a romantic date night. Food taste : 5 You should really come here for food, not for Ambiance, service, or whatsoever. Desired steak doneness has been perfectly delivered, the quality of meat is really good. You can easily tell even though you are not a steak lover. We also ordered a seafood pasta and lobster tail to compliment our steak. Of course, finish your meal with a glass of wine. Food Presentation: 5 All food we ordered were presented well, garnished without any compromise. Location: 4 Strive in traffic, this restaurant is in the heart of Makati. Parking could be difficult depending on peak hours.

If it’s less than 500 pesos restaurant, I’d give 3 stars. Everything tested so bad. Not only dishes, but service and atmosphere. Green belt has several awful restaurants. Don’t choose any restaurant which doesn’t have more than 5 group customers. And the worst dish is steak. It smells bad.
Hayato Y — Google review
I don't usually comment about service but once you get used to how fine dining service gets, this place disappoints in that area. Checking back what the ordered beverage was, letting us order not in stock items (neither saga nor omi wagyu were available) only to be told later they only have specific items left. Gambas was meh, got a bit hard at the end. The kagoshima rib eye was only saved by the quality of the meat and how hard it could have been to go wrong. Not that it needed the mushroom or peppercorn gravy, but both were too basic to complement the steak. We got free mocha/chocolate mousse cake that was too sweet. Didn't even finish half. There's better places if you just want to try wagyu.

Nice steaks and good service. Environment is good and cozy. Since their specialities are wagyu beef and other high end beef, do expect cost to be relative to the quality you get

We had an amazing experience at House of Wagyu! Everything from the ambiance to the service was top-notch. The food, especially the ribeye steak, was outstanding. The steak was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of fattiness, and since it’s cooked on a hot stone, I got to enjoy it piping hot throughout the meal. We also tried the tenderloin, which was equally delicious, with a rich, a little liver-like taste that made it stand out. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—I can’t wait to come back!

The highlight, of course, was the premium Wagyu beef, cooked to perfection on a hot stone grill right at our table. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor—definitely worth every peso! We also tried their other dishes, and each one was delicious. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations and ensured everything was prepared just the way we liked it. The restaurant isn't exactly easy to find, unless you're familiar with Two E-com building. When you walk past any long escalators that brings you up to the main parade square area on Level 4, that's the right first step. After which, they're at one of the corners facing the ocean. That said, service is good, quality of food is great, and it's an amazing place for business meetings or celebrations. We were there for lunch, and they were quite empty. Got ourselves the oyster, the cream soup, and a Norwegian salmon. Would have loved to try the steak, but was a little too full from back to back meetings. Another time perhaps!

Grade 10 tomahawk was good.. the mussels were good too.. same with the other dishes i tried.. nothing much to say about the food.. its good.. its a typical high end steak house, but you cook your own steak.. though for those that dont know how to cook, id suggest to let them do it for you, unless you want tough well done steak... service though, was good since the servers were fast, the time to serve the food though was slow(kitchen was slow).. 40min for pasta.. more than 1 hour to serve the steak.. atmosphere was uncomfortable, they had this big square fans which was blowing air straight to us.. maybe the air-conditioning was faulty? Not what id expect.. ive eaten several times but at another branch.. and the ambiance here was disappointing.. still, good food..

We ordered a three-course steak meal with high expectations for the food because it's kinda pricey. The complimentary bread did not seem fresh. The soup and salad were just okay. The premium Australian steak was so chewy that we could barely cut it, and the fatty part was too big. The premium Japanese Saga Wagyu tasted good. Dessert is too sweet. Not included in the three course meal: Oyster Rockefeller is good. Service: Everyone's nice but it seems that they are in a hurry to serve the next meal. We spent 6k+ and I think there are better options for this price range.

We had our business meeting at Melo’s Restaurant in Quezon City, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was perfect—quiet, elegant, and conducive for professional discussions. The staff was incredibly attentive and courteous, making sure we were comfortable throughout. The food? Absolutely top-notch! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and every dish served was of excellent quality and presentation. It was the ideal setting for a productive and enjoyable business lunch. Highly recommended for meetings or special occasions. We'll definitely be coming back!

2019 review: Steak there is great! I really like their French Onion Soup. I personally find their gravy lacking in taste and quantity, but other than that, their food is of quality. Serving time was long but that was because my family and I ate during the peak hour of a promo season. 2023 review: Steak is still great and of quality! Still enjoyed their French Onion Soup. Don't think the gravy is lacking in taste anymore. Serving time still took a while despite having less people, but it's still worth the wait anyway. Servers also pay attention to the customers. I have a companion pour water on mushroom soup for being too salty, and they promptly offered to replace and fix the saltiness of the soup. It's great to be back!

Celbrated our anniversary here. The four course meal was super worth it. Nice ambience. Very friendly staff. Easy to reserve ahead.

One of the best steakhouses in the Metro! Be prepared to pay a premium price though. The ambiance and food quality well make up for the expensive price point that they charge. The wait staff are all extremely courteous and knowledgeable on their offerings. The dining area is a bit cramped - but still carries that air of class and exclusivity. Any of their cuts of meat are guaranteed to be a culinary delight. Their chef makes sure that your steak is served to your liking. Overall, if you have the cash to spare, this is definitely a place you should try!

We ordered Japanese and Australian steak all I can say is the most soft steak that I ever tasted. The desert panna cotta was superb. Service is good they always refill the water. The only thing that needs for improvement is the parking area too stiff to maneuver for SUV. Over all I’m fully satisfied.

Was craving steak on a random Thursday so we decided to throw it back at Melo’s. Parking was tough since they share the space with another restaurant, but the attendants were helpful. First impression: the place feels dark and dated and definitely could use a refresh. We started with raclette (with cocktail onions, cornichons, lettuce, and potato) which was good. The dinner set we each had came with Melo’s pate and a choice of soup or salad. I got the caesar salad and my husband got the crab and corn soup. Both underwhelming and forgettable. We couldn’t have enough for the sweet fluffy dinner rolls tho! For mains, I had the Japanese Wagyu medium rare topped with foie gras which were both perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband got his steak rare topped with a lobster tail. Steak was great as expected, but the lobster tail was malansa, overcooked and tasted old. Dessert was also forgettable. I had red wine by the glass but it seemed poorly stored, served chilled and already rancid. Service was the biggest letdown. Staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. They were scowling, inattentive, and everything felt like a chore. We came in a good mood, but it really dampened the experience. Dinner set us back close to ₱9k even with the BDO 50% discount on the steak sets, so it wasn’t cheap. We just expected more from something at this level. Glad they still do steak well, but the service and atmosphere really need a lift.

Kite Kebab Bar, located in the vibrant Poblacion neighborhood, offers a diverse menu of authentic Mediterranean street food. From hummus and biryani to shawarma rice plates and succulent Wagyu kebabs, this spot has something for every adventurous Muslim traveler. The restaurant's location in the former Red Light District adds to its unique charm as it now stands as a bustling food hub with a variety of dining options.
Legit middle eastern cuisine. The dips are all good and the kebabs are very tasty with the right spices in use. Staff are friendly and the service is very good. The wagyu cubes are so tasty as is the beef kebab Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for legit middle eastern food.

The place looks like east and west collided! Like a sparse Casablanca dining room meets Khao San Road.; a New York rooftop garden meets a Balinese club! The facade of this place (especially during the evening) will enthrall you to enter. But this place is not made for dining ( though there are middle eastern meals available) during the evenings as its purpose is to be more of a bar. The food is okay though really not exceptional (of course eat at nearby Elijah’s or Beni’s for good Middle Eastern food). Well these are some of the surprises you get here in Poblacion....and I am happy to see establishments like this against all odds!

I was initially disappointed to begin with to see that WokBy had been dissolved and usurped by a freshly established (relocated from a few doors down) kite bar. Those feelings were fleeting soon replaced with a familiarity and fondness I hold for this chain. The food is flavorful and authentic, The owners are Iranian / Filipino and, they have clearly put a great deal of time and effort to capture authentic yet accessible style of Persian cuisine delivered in a lively, yet cozy atmosphere.

This quaint restaurant tucked in Makati is a good hangout place if you want to avoid big crowd. The interior is a bit dark but it has a rustic and homey feel to it. We ordered Beef Biryani, Beef Kebab, and Salmon Fillet. The biryani was cooked well and had that distinct smokey flavor found in Mediterranean cuisine. Do note that the beef are found in the middle of the rice (in case you might wonder where it is). The beef kebab was tender and the roasted tomato added some freshness to the dish. The salmon fillet was flaky and juicy, with a hint of smokiness as well. The food is reasonably priced and the service was great. We would have given them 5 stars if not for the big cockroach that suddenly appeared on the edge of our table - we were seated by the window. The staff politely offered to replace our meal but we refused since we were already halfway done and the cockroach didn't go anywhere near our food. Note: Parking is very limited, we only managed to park in front of their restaurant because we came a few minutes earlier than their opening time on a weekday.

Do not order Shakshuka - you will be deceived! Just 2 sunny side up eggs with a weird herbal sauce for 225 pesos not even pita included! Not like shakshuka from other countries! Rip off!

We love the spicy herb beef kebab with biryani rice. We also tried the ox brain which is served hot and a bit crunchy as compared to the usual mushy texture. The ox brain is good and they only need to work on the serving of it as we find it too small.

Shabu-shabu restaurant

Japanese restaurant
Nestled in Japan Town at Glorietta, Shaburi and Kintan Buffet is a unique fusion of two renowned Japanese franchises: Kintan Buffet and Shaburi Shabu-Shabu. This dining spot offers an indulgent 90-minute unlimited shabu-shabu experience during weekday lunches.
I really like this place at Top of the Glo (rooftop of Glorietta - just look for the nearest escalator near Toytown and Pixel Play, then follow it up to the rooftop - Shaburi is all the way to the right when you step out the door). The good: food is really great. You can as for a good amount of meat cuts at a time. Cooked food is good (beef bulgogi stew is great). UCC coffee. And for the sugar conscious, they have Coke Zero unlimited). They have vanilla ice cream for those who always crave for basic. The gripes (which I will highlight, but I still give Shaburi a full 5 stars) : the cost of grill buffet Kintan is a but too high. We're a fan of hotpot, so this is fine. But it limits the options of those on a budget. Soup refill is just the regular soup, not the one you initially ordered (so if you order Chicken Collagen, refill will be regular). Overall - I find this to be one of the best hotpot places in town. I've been here a number of times, and I don't see any reason to stop (I hope they keep their level of service up). Thank you Shaburi and Kintan Glorietta!
Murky M — Google review
The meat cuts are premium, and even the seafood is top quality. They offer a variety of soup bases to choose from, and I especially love the clams and the shrimps. The place has a cozy ambiance, and their exhaust system works well. However, you can only choose between a hotpot or a grill station. On the plus side, they have a coffee and ice cream station, and all the vegetables are fresh, carefully cleaned, and free from any yellowing parts.
KR M — Google review
Worth a try, hard to justify. 2 hours eating time, semi slow service and you have to cook your food. But i guess the quality of meat (depends on the package you get) kinda makes it alright.

Shaburi and kintan buffet in manila is my first time visit, and i was very disappointed to their service compare to other country branch. The staff serving customers with no smile at all, the food was good but i will never visit this branch anymore, their service ruin my mood ! And also the staff hygiene very bad, one of the guy explain their menu on us his nail is dirty. They set the limit time 90 minutes, so if the times up you cannot stay longer anymore and must leave on time! The staff will keep come to you and keep remind how many minutes you left even you have no more orders just seat there and get a rest after eat ! Such a bad experience ever
Marinah F — Google review
The meat is nice but not fabulous. We got the lunch buffet and with that also comes the variety of side dishes and desserts they serve spread out on 2 long tables in the middle of the restaurant. We liked the unlimited garlic butter sauce, sweet corn with butter and the best meat was the Iberico pork. Overall we had a satisfactory lunch and got a good deal.
Angie H — Google review
Came here for shabu shabu. Set up was better than Tong Yang, though it's the same that you have an individual soup pot, but here, you have 2 soup base options for yourself. 90 minutes per sitting. The 1st time we ate there, Service was amazing! There was an assigned staff to your table, they're very attentive, and reminds you with the remaining time. Food were all good. They have a seasonal soup based (Tom Yum, Thai Green Curry,...). Ambiance was good and the table was spacious enough. With our 2nd time, Service was so bad. No assigned staff per table anymore. Requesting for meat refills was so slow that you have to frequently follow up for like... 3-5x before it came. At the end, i only have 2 set refills of the meat~not so sulit for what i paid, i could have another 3 more sets of it if mabilis lang sana tapos ang sipag nila magremind sa time. Food was still good~good quality veggies, fruits, and meats. Ambiance was chaotic that time, not organized. Not sure if we'll go back again. Hope they fix their service.

Shaburi is pretty much the same restaurant as Kintan and is a premium shabu-shabu hot pot restaurant. They gave a wide variety of soups and my favourite is the collagen soup. They also have Angus beef as well as wagyu beef. If you like pork, they have iberico too! There's soft serve ice cream and coffee as well as cakes for dessert
Richard F — Google review
A go-to hotpot place for us when we crave a quick fix. The quality of meat is definitely exceeding their price points. We always get the premium set, which comes with Angus Beef. The buffet section is very fresh and a good variety of carbs and proteins. Their salad and veggies section is always full of fresh greens and sometimes fruits. Overall, highly recommend this place. The staff are quick to serve you even with the generous time limit of 90 minutes.

Tajimaya Yakiniku Charcoal Grill is a delightful haven for food lovers seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience. With a diverse menu that features everything from fresh sushi to hearty rice bowls, this casual eatery truly has something for everyone. However, the star of the show is undoubtedly their yakiniku charcoal grill, where diners can indulge in cooking an array of premium beef, chicken, and pork slices right at their table.
I just walk-in no reservation required. Big thanks to the service crew. They served me fast and efficient. They have seperate bathroom for female and male. Order around 3 beef brisket within the time limit I'm not sure if there are time limit here in the Philippines. As soon as I was seated. They didn't write anything about the time in. I'd like to highlight that the restaurant's early closing time of 9pm with the last order at 8:30pm felt inconvenient. Additionally, the no-reservation policy contradicted our experience as we had to wait for a table, even though some were being reserved. After a 20-minute wait, we were finally seated. This mismanagement was a downside. On a positive note, the quality of the meat and the delicious sauces redeemed the dining experience. 🍽️👍 #RestaurantReview"

My husband really felt the need to eat a crazy amount of meat so we went for the lunch special where you can get unlimited meat and seafood to grill for 799. You can skip the salmon bec they give you the “throwaway parts”, the scallops were just ok but the chicken was good. My husband really enjoyed the pork and beef cuts he was served though, they were tender and juicy. Service was good but the place needs a bit of sprucing up - you can see all the signs of wear and tear already but at least the food was still good!

The wagyu beef was amazing as well as the other food. Just have problems with the overall service 1) Reserved on a given time but when we arrived, the personnel looked unready to cater us. Food and charcoal took too long to arrive 2) charcoal burned out too fast. Either it was too hot or not capable of cooking at all. Waiters hesitate on replacing charcoal and thus slow cooking. 3) ambiance is fine. Noise is controlled from different tables so this is definitely a place to talk and mingle without disturbing other customers 4) it was too dark. Honestly cant see if my food has already been cooked or not. Overall, my experience with my last visit was unorganized and slow service from the crew

We had lunch here the other day. Food was good but the service was slow. We already ran out of Kimchi and i asked the server for some. It never came so i had to request it again from another server. Servers were not rude but they were unattentive. I hope they do something about the service.

Tajimaya Rockwell is another favorite spot of mine. I frequent this place whenever possible. Today was a dinner after shopping for us. Place is very easy to find using either waze or google maps. Ample car park and with valet if required. Flat 50 peso parking rate. We were seated immediately but reservation is recommended if it's a bigger than 5 group. We ordered the karibu boneless short ribs, harami skirt, and jou karubi for our grill. We then ordered both the kimuchi moriawase and the namuru moriawase along with Tajimaya tamogoyaki, chajan fried rice and a chijimi along with a potato wedge for our little one. The charcoal grilled meat is one of the best in town. And my favorite is the tajimaya tamogoyaki. All other items were great as well. Perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering. They have an amazing whiskey and liquor collection worth looking into. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Bill out was fast and they dont charge service charge. I'll be back soon.

Went in for lunch on a weekday. The place was packed and lively. The dishes were priced decently for their quality. I was given service tea when I was ordering and the servers were responsive. I ordered the sashimi bowl since it looked like they specialized in sushi and ramen. My order arrived 20mins later it looked kinda alright. The egg were too stiff and salty and not the sweet tamago you get in sushi. The salmon and crab cake was ok. The tuna was cut haphazardly and I think it was really not that fresh. The shrimp was hard and chewy, not good. Most of the fish roe was slimy and falling apart, it was also too salty and not that sweet. The squid and white fish was also fine. All in all, most of the flavors seeped in to the rice and it was not ideal.

My favorite Japanese restaurant! All the dishes I tried were a 10/10 especially the SPICY SALMON SALAD (super fresh!). The ambience was nice and the staff were friendly & accommodating. They served the food right away and would always check on us if we needed anything. The price is very affordable for the proportions and quality you get. I've been here around 4x and would definitely go back again and again with my loved ones :) My only complaint is that they don't have enough branches!

Tori Tori Kushiyaki Snack Bar is a delightful gem that captures the essence of Japanese street dining, offering an authentic experience right in San Juan. Originally a cozy hole-in-the-wall, it has expanded to accommodate more guests while maintaining its focus on quality and simplicity. The menu features mouthwatering yakitori and kushiyaki skewers made from fresh ingredients, reminiscent of what you’d find in Japan.
I tried this because my brother recommended it. I was not disappointed. It's a small restaurant, but it packs quite a punch. The sea urchin tasted fresh and good, while the wagyu and skewers were amazing. The staff were all friendly and quick to assist tables Yakisoba was tasty buy a bit salty for my taste.

Ate here yesterday for dinner before heading to a concert. I dined alone, but the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable! The food was delicious, I highly recommend the butabara kushiyaki, angus beef kushiyaki, and their grilled salmon skin. Super tasty and sulit! The place may be a bit small, but it has a warm and homey vibe. Special thanks to Tim for the excellent service! After the concert, I came back for my takeout order and Tim even offered me a cold tea while I waited, such a thoughtful gesture! Definitely coming back next time.

From looking for a casual place to unwind a Friday night, a simple question of "Saan tayo tonight? Tara San Juan" led us to find this amazing down-to-earth Japanese spot, "Tori Tori Kushiyaki Snack Bar". This place is a homerun hit to what we were looking for, a casual Friday hangout spot, where the food is simply delicious and a very inviting atmosphere where you can welcomly sit down and enjoy the night without any pretence. The food is simply amazing. We ordered an array of grilled skewers and rolls/sushi to satisy our curiousity of trying different items as everything looks great to try in their menu selection. We ordered a DIY skewer sampler consisting of (1) Wagyu cubes (2) Bacon quail egg (3) Duck blood (4) Angus beef (5) Chicken skin (6) Chicken liver, and everything did not disappoint. We also ordered rolls and sushi, which the serving proportions caught us by surprise! We got (1) Salmon cheese rolls (2) Beef teriyaki rolls and (3) Steak aburi sushi, which left us full and satisfied. Happy and satisfied, we asked for our bill and got a chance to talk the the managers (Sir Ralph and Maam Sheryl -- it was a bit loud and busy at this time, so hopefully I got your name right 😅) to leave a compliment that I was extremely impressed with the food and service and would definitely like to come back to try the other items in their menu. They let me know that I should have tried one of their best sellers "grilled salmon skin", and was very generous enough to offer a complementary order which we waited in excitement and anticipation. They were right, it was a banger! The skin was light and crispy, with a pleasing grilled charcoal taste, and also surpirsingly has a thin layer of meat which pleasantly melts in your mouth with each bite. The squeeze of calamansi on top with some togarashi powder takes it to another level. Afterwards, we paid for our meal and sent our appreciation to the crew and was left with an unforgettable impression on this place. I am quite sure, that this will be one of my top spots to bring my friends each Friday night hangouts! Kudos Tori Tori!

We ordered their best sellers for Kushiyaki: Angus Belly, Angus Mozzarella, and Butabara. I’m leaning towards the first two, super flavorful and not dry! The grilled salmon skin was surprisingly good, and the uni sushi (which I was hesitant to try at first) ended up being really tasty. Both that and the oysters tasted fresh. Highly recommend getting the ones with cheese for that extra flavor. Miso soup was a bit salty for me. Overall, great value for money! Enjoyed my first time here with my fiancé. We’re definitely coming back!

Dining space is small so if you are dining with a larger group, better to come during off-peak hours. Food is delicious, and the staff service is excellent. Definitely recommend the grilled salmon skin. For what we ordered we spent about Php300 per person (since we shared items).

The atmosphere was nice, though a bit cramped. The service got slow at times, and the food was good, particularly their pork skewers and salmon skin. Noise level is okay, with pop music playing in the background. Service hot tea is available.

Patrick D — Google review
We recently dined at Mamou at Home in Gateway, spending around ₱8,000–₱9,000 in total, inclusive of service charges and VAT. We ordered several dishes, starting with the Twin Angus Ribeye. The steak was slightly on the chewy side, but I appreciated its seasoning, doneness, and especially the crispy exterior—it had a satisfying and well-balanced flavor overall. The sides, which included Pudding Corn and Cuban Beans, were unfortunately disappointing. They tasted like they had been pre-prepared and left out too long before serving, which affected their freshness. The Linguine Vongole also fell flat; it was quite bland and didn’t leave much of an impression. The Tofu and Smoked Tinapa Rolls were just okay for me—the flavor was too overwhelming, and I could only manage one slice before it became too much. On a more positive note, the Healdsburg's Harvest Salad was the star of the meal. It was fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor—definitely a must-try. I highly recommend exploring this option rather than sticking to the usual Caesar salad. As for drinks, I absolutely loved the Dalandan Mint Shake. It was refreshing and offered the perfect balance of citrus and mint, making it a great complement to the meal. The service at Mamou was excellent—definitely a 10/10. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our visit. However, the ambiance was less than ideal. The place was noisy and felt a bit too crowded, which affected the overall dining experience. We chose this location mainly for convenience, but next time, we’re planning to try their Podium branch in hopes of enjoying a more relaxed and comfortable vibe.

Mamou gateway 2 branch never disappoints. The food was served fresh and hot, the customer service is always 10/10! We’d like to commend server Rico for making the whole dining experience worthwhile.. Always making sure we’re well served and comfortable throughout the whole stay. Everyone was very attentive, natural communicators and well trained! This branch always feels like home for my partner and I.. Mamou Gateway 2 IS the standard for us. Dined on regular days and celebrated occasions here many times already and we’ll surely keep on coming back! Thank you for always welcoming us with warm hearts.. + the complimentary cupcake to celebrate us. ♥️

Rico’s service was great, he’s attentive and accommodating to your needs. Food is also good, everything we ordered tasted great. I think only thing for improvement is the noise level of the Gateway branch since the set up is open and you’ll hear the noise from the mall and the kitchen. Maybe better acoustics will help!

Everyone is soo nicee!! The pasta and the lamb chops especially the salad, we really love it. So nice to spend my birthday here at MAMOU. They even get me a birthday cupcake. Thank you also Sir Gino for your service. ❤️

Food was good, service was excellent! Shout out to one of their staff, Laura, who handled everything perfectly and even gave us a red velvet cupcake (birthday) even though we told her not to bother anymore since its way past. 😊

Ikinari Steak is a renowned Japanese steakhouse that has expanded to the Philippines, offering premium quality meats cut and prepared right in front of customers. The restaurant's fast-paced atmosphere and limited seating make for a bustling dining experience. While the prices are on the higher side, patrons can expect top-notch steaks of various cuts, ensuring a satisfying meal. However, some diners have noted that ordering and payment processes may be less convenient for solo guests.
I had a really great experience dining at Ikinari Steakhouse. The food was delicious — the steaks were cooked perfectly, flavorful, and satisfying. The quality of the meat really stood out, and the portion sizes felt just right. The service was also excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of without being intrusive. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience. If you’re looking for a place with great food, good service, and a nice dining environment, Ikinari Steakhouse is definitely worth trying.

Price: pricey for good good steaks. not your budget meal. Location: accessible inside the mall. Customer Service/Experience: staff were attentive and glady explained the menu and offerings/promotion Restroom: was not able to check Parking: mall parking is available Promotions: buy 3 premium steaks and get 1 free steak meal. Comments: steak rice was good and of course the steak as well. had mine medium well and was not disappointed

Dropped by Ikinari Steak and tried their 200g Wild Steak and Hamburg Steak combo —and wow, it's a solid meal for two! The Hamburg Steak was incredibly juicy, while the Wild Steak delivered on tenderness and flavor. Each bite was customizable thanks to their generous condiment station: mustard, wasabi, ginger, sweet sauce, garlic, and pepper-perfect for mixing and matching. We also added P130 for the set upgrade, which came with a refreshing red drink, crisp salad, and warm soup. Totally worth it for rounding out the meal. If you're craving hearty meat with good value and good ambiance, Ikinari in oneayala hits the spot.

Attentive and welcoming staff, fast service too - they were able to serve my food in under 6 mins since it continues to cook anyway. They gave me instructions, and a bib! Quite on the expensive end but the meat quality makes up for it. Will definitely eat here again.

We tried their Ribeye (P1,379/200g) and Tenderloin (P1,412/200g) and both were absolutely perfect! The steaks were cooked beautifully, tender, and packed with flavor. Service was excellent—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The cozy vibes made the whole experience even better. Perfect steaks, great service, and a spot that makes any night feel extra special Highly recommend for steak lovers!

Had a great experience at Ikinari Steak – One Ayala! The steak was juicy, cooked perfectly (medium well for me), and super flavorful. The staff were friendly and the place was clean and well laid out. Definitely worth it if you’re craving quality steak in Makati. Will be coming back!
John E — Google review
The steak was really enjoyable. However, the grilling hot plate wasn’t quite hot enough to further sear or cook the steak to my preferred doneness. A slightly hotter plate would have made the experience even better. Still, overall a pleasant meal, kind, attentive staff. Good Service!
Princess R — Google review
I love having my steak fix at Ikinari. Affordable, juicy, and always cooked the way I like it. Service is quick too. I love the ribeye and always get steak rice on the side. They could offer more assortment in their drinks tho. Last time we were here though, there was a man roaming around the tables handing out pieces of paper. I thought at first that he was conducting a survey about feedback for Ikinari. To my surprise, it's not connected to Ikinari but rather it was a "raffle" for a travel agency. A bit strange that he is able to do it inside the restaurant and the staff doesn't seem to bother about it.

Wolfgang's Steakhouse Grill is a top choice for steak lovers in Metro Manila, offering some of the best steaks in the area. With outdoor dining available at their Podum, BGC, and Resorts World branches, you can enjoy a safe dining experience. The new branch maintains the high standards of food quality, atmosphere, and service that Wolfgang's is known for. Guests praise the attentive and polite staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.
An unforgettable meal with my mom! Took my mom for a special date at Wolfgang's, and it was absolutely perfect. The service was exceptional- attentive and warm. And the food? Simply one of a kind. The steaks are incredible. It was the perfect place to treat someone special. Highly recommend! P.S. thanks to staff Rennald for making it extra special for us!

Enjoyed dining at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Grill in Gateway 2! The service was top-tier! We ordered Porterhouse Steak in medium well and medium rare. We also got sides and cocktails which were good. Reservation via phone call was easy, they even took note of the surprise details we planned for our parents which was a success! They were so accommodating and kind. The place was intimate, just a bit dark for phots. Kudos to their amazing team!

The food was superb. We’ll definitely be back. I also wanted to commend our server Karl of Wolfgang Gateway for being so accommodating and very helpful. This is a very memorable experience not only for me but for my child Abrianna because her cravings was satisfied. Overall I can say Wolfgang experience is really one of a kind.
Mayet C — Google review
We recently dined at the Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Gateway Cubao and tried their Classic Burgers—a simpler option compared to their signature steaks, but still something we were excited to try from a world-renowned steakhouse. The beef quality was definitely good, tender and well-cooked, but we felt it was missing that distinct smoky, grilled flavor you’d expect from a high-end burger. To bring out more depth, we found ourselves reaching for extra steak sauce and mustard—which thankfully were readily available and did enhance the flavor. That said, the overall experience was still pleasant. The ambiance is classy and comfortable, with a touch of that classic steakhouse elegance. Service was attentive and professional, adding to the overall satisfaction of the visit. If you’re coming for a premium burger experience, just expect a more subtle flavor profile. Still, it’s a good spot for a laid-back but upscale meal in the heart of Cubao.

Podium's ribeye was more tender but everything else were consistently good. We loved the crab cakes, onion soup and the side dishes. Chicken parmigiana was huge and good value.

Japanese restaurant
Nestled amidst the vibrant skyscrapers of Bonifacio Global City, Wagyu Studio made its grand entrance in October 2020, quickly captivating meat lovers with its opulent takeaway offerings. This modern Japanese steakhouse is renowned for its exquisite A5 Kobe beef, showcased in dishes like the luxurious Kobe chirashi adorned with uni, caviar, ikura, and even edible gold.
Hands down one of the best high-end restos in the city. Easily part of the top 5 best places for steaks. The food is obviously expensive but this is the closest authentic Japanese steak/sushi meal you can get if you can’t fly to Japan. Even the wasabi they use for their Salmon Toro is real wasabi that’s been sanded. My only complain would be the location is rather small plus there’s no decent drop off or pick up point for cars. Other than that, this is one of those once-a-year splurge yourself restos that’s worth it if you’re a lover of high quality food/service especially Kobe Beef. In case you were wondering, our bill topped off at 72K for 8 happy people.
J Y — Google review
I was here for the late lunch so not many people in the restaurant. I have with me, a salad with a Yuzu dressing and a sweet fruit which bring a great mix. Though the highlight which is a beef on top of the rice is a bit so-so. The temperature outside is real hot though somewhat inside is hotter. Me to come back? Would be after other hundred restaurants in the area.

Visited in April. Philippines. BGS After extensive research on various restaurants and reviews, I finally found a place to indulge in authentic Japanese beef - Wagyu Studio. The restaurant itself had a pleasant appearance, with a nice interior design. The only thing that struck me was the absence of other diners besides us. Food: We decided to sample a few items from the menu. The oysters were delightful - fresh, plump, and perfectly complemented by the dressing. This dish was a definite highlight of our meal. Next, we tried the lobster sando sandwich. I usually enjoy this type of sandwich and have savored it at different eateries, so I couldn't resist ordering it here. Although generously filled as expected in a sando, there was something off about these sandwiches. They tasted more like shrimp, were slightly tough and dry, and left a peculiar aftertaste. I wouldn't opt for it again. Our choice of noodles with yolk and Wagyu minced beef was delicious. The dish was flavorful, and the addition of the Wagyu beef was satisfying. The balance of ingredients was spot on, making it a satisfying choice. And that’s what we actually came here for, Wagyu A5 tenderloin steak. Having previous experience with this delicacy, I was familiar with its distinctive taste. Although the steak was perfectly cooked - tender and succulent - it fell short of my expectations. It lacked the rich, signature flavor of sweet fat characteristic of Japanese Wagyu. It was a well-prepared steak but didn't quite deliver the unique Wagyu experience I anticipated. Conclusion: Overall, Wagyu Studio is a decent establishment; however, the pricing is on the higher side, which is understandable given the premium quality beef they use. Despite the good service, there was something lacking in the flavors that left us slightly perplexed, making us unlikely to revisit.

Not cheap but considering the quality of food & taste they provide it's priced fairly. Going to be hard to come up with a place that serves better meat in the entire Philippines. A league of it's own currently!
Tim S — Google review
Very expensive. Spent 18k for yakiniku, blue fin tuna sashimi, garlic rice, lumpia (3k per piece!) and hokkaido milk ice cream. The food was good but they were overpriced. Moreover, price on the menu is different from the price on the bill.
Ana C — Google review
Let’s state this upfront—This is an expensive, high-end restaurant; even if you consider that they focus on what is probably the most expensive cut of meat. For instance, if you get a ribeye roll wagyu steak the price is ₱50/gram and they have a minimum 300g/order. That’s ₱15K right off the bat. That’s probably what you’ll spend if you get Kobe beef in Kobe, Japan. But the steak is delicious. Tender, juicy, perfectly seared & the marbling is just out of this world. They cook it to perfection. So hats off to the kitchen staff on this. We tried the Gyudon (P1,200) with, yes, cuts of wagyu beef. It’s underwhelming. The rice beneath is watery and the beef has the consistency of corned beef. My conclusion? Wagyu in gyudon is a bad idea and a waste of good meat. The gyoza is made of…yup…wagyu. A four piece order will set you back ₱1K so that’s ₱250/piece. Nothing special. The matcha cheesecake was magnificent although i don’t think the edible gold was necessary. Verdict? If you have the moolah, go and try it out. Get the steak. Wagyu should be enjoyed simply, in an unpretentious way. And you’ll love the wagyu here. The steak in my opinion is worth the price. The rest, not so much. Kudos to all the staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

The best thing about this restaurant was our waiter. he patiently explained to us the menu and was very attentive throughout the dinner service. We wanted to try the omakase service but we were seated in the yakiniku table because my husband was not asked during reservation if he wanted to sit in the tasting menu area so he just thought it was automatic. The food itself was good. the beef was perfectly cooked and not chewy at all. the sando though was nothing special for me considering the price. my husband enjoyed the oyster

Holy cow. This place is amazing. Can’t wait to try the tasting menu next week. Beso beso was my first favorite fine dining but hoping they become the first! Tried the tasting menu! I would rate each dish like this The roll - 3/10 (scallop) Toro -9/10 (onion sauce was fire) Nori tostado 7/10 (prefer beef carpaccio) Chawanmushi 9/10 (like birds nest Chinese soup with many other ingredients like truffle) Lumpia 3/10 (wagyu, unsure why this is here. Didn’t wow me) Shabu shabu 8/10 imagine miso soup with chili oil and beef. Was good Chateaubriand 9/10 this made my taste buds sing. Was so good Josper 10/10 gee that was some solid beef Tkg rice 2/10. Ice cream wagyu 8/10 Overall good experience and reminds me of gallery by chelle. I still prefer beso beso.

Wagyu Yummy Beef is a top-quality Japanese beef restaurant located in BGC. Despite its unassuming exterior, it offers an exquisite selection of tender and buttery Wagyu brands curated by Chef Takayuki Hayano and his business partners. While some reviews may be negative, the overall experience seems to be positive, with customers praising the high quality of the products and service. If you're looking for a delightful Wagyu dining experience, this spot is worth considering.
Wasn't sure about buying from here as a lot of the reviews were pretty bad. I tried to cancel my order but it was too late it seems. Thankfully the bouquet of sunflowers I had delivered turned out to be really nice! Either I was lucky or the bad reviews are just a vocal minority. There are cheaper flowers elsewhere that also do same-day shipping but if they somehow can't fulfill your order, Express Flower is worth a shot based what I've experienced.

I was only able to read reviews after ordering a bouquet of stargazer lilies from them. I was so anxious about the promptness of the delivery. Fortunately, the package arrived mid-afternoon of the scheduled date. Opening the package, they were the flowers I ordered but some of them were appearing already wilted. In the photo, it was a good thing it was not noticeable. The flowers smelled really good and the one who received the gift appreciated the bouquet so much. Kudos on the promptness; maybe having a tracking feature would further improve this. Also, I'd like to commend that when I emailed them in the morning of the scheduled delivery date, they were able to respond within minutes. For the freshness, it is a challenge for many flower delivery services to maintain the beauty of the bouquets, but I hope there is an effective way to keep them looking nice.

Ordered a bouquet of roses yesterday to be send in cebu city. I was confident that it was going to be delivered even though I found the reviews bad. Which is too late for me to cancel the order. It was delivered on the exact date that I want and my partner was so happy when she received it and it looks fresh. Keep this up everyday and definitely going to order again. By the way I'm somewhere in europe.

I set up a delivery 2 weeks in advance. 2 days after I placed my order, I send an email asking to change the message on the card because I forgot to include something the first time. I also requested the flowers be delivered within a certain time frame. They responded Yes this is no problem. They delivered the flowers late and without the new message on the card. So their customer service sucks.

I ordered last April 23, 2021 so i have enough time to have my flowers delivered to my 2 moms on May 8, 2021. Orders were paid via online and confirmed. When the said date arrived, no flowers were delivered. I tried sending email, sms and message them in messenger but no response from them. Totally scammers!!!! Don’t ever every buy from this shop. You guys has no conscience during this times of pandemic. Pls stop your wrong doings scammers!

Do not buy from then. The only good thing was an on time delivery. I ordered BLUE roses to get delivered on Valentine’s Day. I FaceTimed the recipient receiving and opening the box to find PURPLE roses. Not only were the flowers the wrong color, but the flowers were painted, and they couldn’t even match painting the flowers the correct color.

This online flower store is a BIG LETDOWN! I ordered a boquet of 12 roses for my wife last Valentines day 6 days before the 14th and they have confirmed receipt. Come the 14th, there was NO flowers. On the 15th, it arrived 7PM, and WILTED after I complained the same morning!!! My god, what Service. THey did not even have the gall to say sorry. Please, buyers, like me I know you have no time to shop physically. However, please avoid this store if you dont want the biggest emotional disappointment. They should know better that giving flowers is very emo. But to them, its all about taking orders upon orders and not taking care of their SUpply Chain. UPDATE Feb 22: They sent my wifey again another flower to replace the wilted one last Feb 15. Ok so Im changing my review to 3 Stars. Pls, if you cant deliver, dont accept further orders as it damages your refutation.

This website is a complete RIP-OFF!! My boyfriend was so excited ordering from this company because he saw that it's same day delivery, and they CAN customize his order based from my favorite colors. 1. His order arrived the next day (even if he placed his order before the cut off time) 2. the bouquet that I received was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to what he ordered. 3. The bear was so cheap, not in a plastic wrap and it was handed to me as shown in the photo. (NO SANITATION WHATSOEVER). My boyfriend paid for a bouquet worth almost 2,000.00 but the one I got looks like 300.00php worth. SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED! If you are a reputable company.. KINDLY do something about it.

Hokkaido Meat & Noodles is a delightful haven for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine, particularly the delectable yakiniku and ramen. This restaurant prides itself on serving top-notch seafood sourced directly from Hokkaido, alongside premium wagyu beef that promises to melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is inviting, featuring a wheelchair-friendly entrance and ample parking options nearby. Guests can enjoy their meals in a relaxed setting with soothing background music and cozy lighting that enhances the dining experience.
My family and I went there last December 16, 2018, during their 50% off period,to try out their products. The portion sizes are good enough to feed four people for dinner. When I first tasted their Wagyu beef yakiniku, it was heaven and melts in the mouth. The Japanese Bibimbap tasted superb compared to the mainstream Korean bibimbab. As for the service, it was efficient and the staff were courteous. To cap it all off, the food was of authentic and superior quality; the service was great as well. Will coming back again soon.

AMBIENCE They have two parking slots and a wheelchair-friendly ramp right outside the entrance. Other customers can park across the street for free though the restaurant owner pays for the parking (as per staff). Restaurant was very cool with calm, lounge-type background music and relaxing lighting for the evening. Tables have grills and condiments are on the side. Seats gradually got filled and I found it interesting how diverse the crowd was. I'd recommend this vibe for romantic dates, friends and officemates. Almost all other customers had their grills on; so exciting! FOOD Hokkaido Miso Ramen was salty but pretty good! I enjoyed the strong-tasting broth with well-cooked noodles (though I still prefer hard texture), some shredded corn, ginger and slightly tender chashu. It was really heavy but perfect on its own. I'd recommend this to anyone who intends to eat only one dish. SERVICE Servers assisted in getting a table and were consistent with cold tea refills; never had to raise my hand for another. They also handed me a cold towel and kept on bowing before leaving my table. Ramen took a short while but was worth the wait! Bill was ready the second I asked for it and my change came back with a piece of Mentos. 😊

The restaurant is only 1 month old and cash only. Being a Yakiniku we tried 3 beef dishes, 1 lamb and 1 pork sausage dishes to grill accompanied by Hokkaido salad and bibimbap. The meat griills are delicious and of significant quality. We also enjoyed the salad and bibimbap especially the burned portions. While new this restaurant certainly has promise while still a long way from the top line Yokohama yakiniku on Jupiter Street.
