Don Julio is a renowned steakhouse in Argentina, celebrated for its classic steaks, local dishes, and extensive wine selection within an intimate setting. The restaurant has garnered global recognition, securing a notable 18th place in the 50 Best Restaurants in the world ranking for 2023. Specializing in grass-fed Aberdeen Angus and Hereford cattle beef aged for at least 21 days, Don Julio offers an exceptional dining experience.
Great food and great service. We had a reservation but asked to move it earlier, and they kindly accommodated us — though we sat outside, which we didn’t mind. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ojo de bife was huge, easily enough for 3–4 people. Overall, excellent experience — if you’re a true steak fan, you’ll notice the quality difference; if not, it might just feel like another good steak. Still worth it for the experience, just a bit on the pricey side.

This place has a lot of hype but we really felt it lived up to it and was worth the price. I could only get a booking for 11.30am online and even at that you queue. But they gave sparkling wine and empanadas while waiting. We were seated outside on white table cloth. Wouldn't have been my preference but was still nice and classy. We were given a few "free" bits including nice breads with a type of salsa and there are nice salsas and chimichuri sauces kept on the table. We decided to get a few starters (sausage and morcilla) and an entrecote steak to share with chips and a nice bottle of malbec. All really beautiful and the feature of the steak cut next to you is class. All really beautiful. The post main part is a little slower and less attentive service though they had some nice features like giving a free ice cream after ordering one. I also got coffee. Overall came to c $260,000 (€150) which I felt was worth it for what it was.

We were thrilled to get a seat at the number one steakhouse — ranked best three years in a row and a proud Michelin-star holder! There were some mixed reviews online, but coming all the way from Southeast Asia, we were so eager to try this famous establishment. We managed to get a lunch reservation, and while waiting, they served complimentary empanadas and wine — such a nice touch. The service was excellent and the staff were superb. We ordered the entrecôte (which costs about three-quarters less than back home!) and it was absolutely AMAZING — so flavorful and tender that we ended up ordering a second one. The mashed potatoes were also delightful. If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and try this place — it’s that good!
Debby D — Google review
You definitely need a reservation for this place as it’s always busy. Even with a reservation, expect to wait a little before being seated, but they make the wait enjoyable by serving champagne outside. We ordered the tomahawk steak, and it was cooked to perfection, the only steakhouse in Argentina where we felt they nailed it perfectly. The food overall was okay and we were a bit surprised that it ranks among the top steakhouses in the world. What truly set the experience apart was the service, easily the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The staff made the entire experience feel special. Overall, we had a great time. The exceptional service alone makes Don Julio worth a visit, even if the food didn’t fully match its world-class reputation.
Ghazal L — Google review
What can I say about the #1 Steakhouse in the world. From the moment you walk up, you are greeted with Champagne and mini empanadas. The service is amazing and the food... Top of the line. Reservations are a must, probably 60 days ahead to get a dinner time reservation. Sides were amazing, mash, fries and salad were delicious. The meat...cooked to perfection. Staff beyond accommodating and friendly. Dessert was amazing.
Christian H — Google review
The freshly baked bread served with olive oil and green cheese? I'd quite special. We tried a few appetitizer and enjoyed them all - the chitterlings are chewy and spongey, grilled cheese smells and tastes good. The veg dishes of pedimento and mushroom are juicy and tasty. The rib eye steak lives up to the standard. The waiters at the table are overall attentive. In terms of critique, the seating is crowded for the standard of fine dining however. The restaurant reception subtly gives the sensel that the restaurant, no. 10 in the world with one Michelin star, is in hot demand that they have more customers than they can serve. Overall it is a great experience.
Olivia T — Google review
Food was great, a big portion of meat, very tasty. made on fire. But comparable with some other much cheaper places. Side dishes good. We tried amazing wine - they have great selection. Deserts were too sweet. Giving 3/5 because I was not convinced that much. Still great place to go tho
Luu — Google review
We came here twice during our visit to Buenos Aires. I think combining the food, wine list and the service they all do the justice of their fame! I’m not a big steak fan but this one was good. But they got me with the little empanadas they serve while you are waiting for your table! I could just eat them forever! Definitely an experience to have in the city!

Located in the lively city of Palermo, La Cabrera is a popular Argentinian grill known for its wide variety of high-quality cuts of meat. From boneless ribeye to grilled gizzards and braised pork shoulder, the restaurant offers an array of traditional dishes. What sets La Cabrera apart are the generous side dishes that accompany the beef, including mashed potatoes, quail eggs, zucchinis, and sweet corn.
Genuinely very impressed! They offer a dinner deal with 40% off at certain times, which makes it amazing value. All of the steaks were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The sides were just as impressive, and there’s a lovely selection of wines to choose from. We left absolutely stuffed and very happy. It was genuinely so worth it—highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Cabrera is an absolute must-visit in Buenos Aires! 🇦🇷 The atmosphere is lively and full of local charm, and the service is friendly and attentive from start to finish. The steaks were cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour — easily some of the best we’ve ever had! 🥩🔥 The selection of side dishes and sauces was outstanding, and the generous portions make it great value for money. We loved the complimentary appetisers and desserts — such a thoughtful touch. If you’re visiting Buenos Aires and want to experience authentic Argentine cuisine in a warm and vibrant setting, La Cabrera should be at the top of your list. ❤️

Had a lovely diner here. Was (pleasantly!) surprised by the Happy Hour discount -30% for diner between 18.30-20.00. Service was really good! Food wise it was possible to share dishes or eat half a portion, which was great. Salads as a side dish are also very good ánd huge, so easy to share. Am very pleased that I have visited this place, will come back!
Nicole — Google review
we ordered the Argentinean meat, 3/5 in my opinion. maybe the entrana would be a better choice. waiters only arrive at 8pm for dinner so going early to secure a table if you have no reservations.
小號K — Google review
We ate here recently and throughly enjoyed the food, the steak was one of the best I’ve eaten. And the service was very attentive and friendly too. Plus the prices are decent, especially during the happy hour. Maybe a bit picky but only 4 stars because… * We sat outside as it was the 40% off happy hour so was very busy. Not a problem, but the heating lamp didn’t work and it was August so it was uncomfortably cold. They need to fix the heater. * I allowed the waiter to talk me into ordering less steak (he was quite persistent), so was still hungry at the end. The customer is always right. 🙂 * I ordered a can of beer and it arrived in a half-full glass because it was only half the can. I don’t know what they did with the other half. When I got a second can of beer I poured it myself and it filled the glass to the very top.

My favorite steakhouse in Palermo. Very crowded -you need a reservation or luck. The beef is amazing, well priced. Service is very good. 👍
Maciej F — Google review
Very kind, friendly, and helpful waitstaff. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend for an affordable and delicious taste of authentic Argentinian steak.
Ashleigh D — Google review
La Cabrera is the kind of place where everything just turns out right. They have been at it for years and it shows. The staff are experienced and attentive, the atmosphere has that classic Buenos Aires charm, and the food is exactly what you hope for in a traditional parrilla. The steak was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy, and the empanadas were excellent. Portions are generous, flavors are authentic, and the overall experience lives up to the reputation. Set in the heart of Palermo, one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, La Cabrera makes for a perfect night out. Palermo is known for its lively mix of cafés, bars, and restaurants, and this spot is one of the standouts. A great combination of quality food, professional service, and a location full of energy. No complaints, just a memorable Buenos Aires dining experience.

Parrilla El Pobre Luis is a lively restaurant and sports bar located in the heart of Buenos Aires' Chinatown. Founded by Luis Acuna, a Uruguayan immigrant, this eatery offers a unique blend of Uruguayan specialties amidst the backdrop of Asian restaurants. The walls are adorned with football and rugby jerseys, as well as signed plates from famous patrons, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Very delicious tender and juicy steak with yummy fries. Excellent parrilla I will be back. Thank you.
Jack G — Google review
A restaurant I first visited years ago, during one of my earliest trips to Buenos Aires. Back then, without much money or dining experience, I found it incredibly impressive. The interior design and atmosphere really struck me at the time. Now, with more perspective, I can see the differences more clearly. They don’t claim to serve Buenos Aires–style parrilla, but rather Uruguayan parrilla. Personally, I think better options can be found in Buenos Aires. That said, the overall experience is still very good—the atmosphere is beautiful, the service excellent, and the meat tasty. However, when you compare the quality of the meat with the prices, it feels somewhat overpriced. It’s still worth visiting once as an experience, but you should keep the cost in mind. They do offer a 10% discount for cash payments, which is good to know. The restaurant is located within Barrio Chino, on the slopes of Belgrano, and parking in the area can be tricky. Opening hours are usually 12–4 pm for lunch and 8 pm–midnight for dinner, so it’s best to check the hours before going. Overall, it’s an enjoyable place, but the flavor doesn’t quite live up to the hype. Still, it’s not a bad experience at all—just not as extraordinary as some claim.
Öner B — Google review
Not a very known restaurant but surely a must visit one! The prices are very cheap compared to other restaurants in Buenos Aires and the meat is better than most of them! One of the best I've tried in a long time. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is great. You can watch the grill man and there are many decorations such as football shirts and photos that makes it nice to wait for the food
Itamar N — Google review
Nice sports club decor, good staff and fine food. Steak served how we liked it (medium rare) not over done as much of Argentina likes to cook it.
Andrew S — Google review
Great service, we ordered the Uruguayo to share since it’s a big piece of steak! The spinach side dish was a very nice addition and portions are very generous. It was very good and a nice atmosphere, very warm and cozy ambiance here. Would recommend for sure if you’re staying in Belgrano or in the area.
Ben C — Google review
An overall nice parrilla. Everything we ordered came in generous portions and was indeed very tasty. We had morcilla and chinchulines for starters, 1 ojo de bife to share for main course and a flan mixto for dessert. Steak was cooked to a nice medium rare as we asked for (which is hard to get here in bs as) I felt the meat was a little bland, though, maybe it was just me. Also, service was fast but not the friendliest. Bare in mind this place is pricier than other parrillas in town.
Carolina P — Google review
Incredible Argentinian steak house. Best meat in town. Ideal place to taste new cuts. Not cheap but worth it. You always have people waiting so make a reservation or arrive early. A guy at the front desk will park your car if you don’t find a place to. I will definitely go back.
Juan C — Google review
TLDR: Delicious, clean and cozy. Nice restaurant in the cebter of the busy Belgrano, the ambient is cozy and tranquil, with a lot of football shirts, the waiters were nice and welcoming, they were good, talkative and helpful. We ordered a chicken salad, a tira de asado, a milanesa de luis, a pamplona and for appetizer, we asked some french fries. They were amazing, I ate the pamplona and I was delighted all of the flavours convined perfectly. A bit pricey, 3900 for a tira de asado. If it werent for the price it woukd probabky be a 5 star bathrooms were ok and semi-cleaned.

La Brigada is a renowned upscale restaurant in Buenos Aires, known for its exceptional beef and goat sweetbreads. The place offers high-quality cuts of meat and has a strong focus on soccer. If you're looking for traditional Argentine fare, there are several options such as Cumana for criolla dishes, Las Cholas for northern cuisine, and Divina Patagonia for food from the Patagonian region.
I highly recommend ordering the 'Lomo beef’ the meat is tender and flavorful, the fries have a unique taste, and the Provolone is rich and soft not rubbery like others! Coming for lunch between 12:00 and 3:00 PM is the best option if you want more attentive service. Honestly, I could eat this every day and still not get enough!

Not cheap, ideal for 2 people as the portions are intended to share. Waiters are Very professional and attentive. Atmosphere is cool; if you are into motor cars, sports, etc, you will love the decor. The waiter cut my perfect steak with a spoon to demonstrate how tender it was. Yes, seriously!
Michael P — Google review
Excellent place with amazing food, good service and nice atmosphere! The steaks were perfectly grilled, juicy and full of flavor! Both lomo and bife de chorizo were perfect! Highly recommended!
Marina R — Google review
At La Brigada I ordered the Colita de Lomo, a nice thicker cut of fillet steak. It was well prepared "a punto" which is medium. Super tender, tasty and juicy meat, yummy 😋. What a great parrilla, I will be back. Gracias Sr. Hugo.
Jack G — Google review
Very disappointed with this place. My worst steak experience in Buenos Aires. Asked for bife de chorizo. Was just fatty, thick, undercooked and awful. The air conditioner was not working to make matters worse. Avoid this one. Much better hot dogs in nearby San Telmo market.

• 🍽️ FOOD: • Dishes ordered: We started with delicious sweetbreads and kidneys, along with a fresh salad. For the main course, we chose the lomo de cola, entraña, and ojo de bife which were all perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. • Quality: The quality of the meat was top-notch, with excellent preparation and presentation. • Quantity: The portions were generous and we even ordered a side of french fries, so we definitely had enough. • Star recommendation: Don't miss the ojo de bife—it's a must-try. • 🍷 DRINKS: • Selection: We enjoyed a bottle of Trumpeter Malbec, which was an excellent choice. • 💁 SERVICE: • Attention: The service was exquisite. Our waiter, José, was extremely attentive and professional. • Details: José was a real pro, a true ace. • 🌿 AMBIANCE: • Decor: The walls are decorated with photos of famous personalities and regulars, which gives the place a unique and classic feel. • 💡 FINAL VERDICT • ✔ Strong points: The high quality of the meat and the outstanding, professional service. • 🌟 Secret tip: Ask for José to be your waiter for an even better experience.
MARTIN T — Google review
It feels more touristy ( we didn’t see any local the day we were there ) but the food is good, the server was very charming. We enjoy Vacío y asado de tira, paired with a nicely blend of Malbec tannat.
Ivonne P — Google review
What an experience 👀 Such an eclectic space full of (and I mean FULL) memorabilia. Everywhere you look there is something fútbol! Being a supportive vegetarian girlfriend we went and while it was an amazing experience for my meat eating partner, there aren’t so many options for non meat eaters. Fair because it’s a meat restaurant. Still, the waiter was upset with me for not eating more of my salad, but I’m old enough to stop eating something if I don’t like it… so there was that. I shared the $12000 pure de papa so that helped, but I might get my own if I were to do it again. It’s not possible to buy wine by the glass - only the bottle. Definitely the full experience!! Watching them cut meat with a spoon was a highlight for the meat eater. I agree with what other reviews said about going doing a busy time because otherwise the wait staff stands and watches you if there are less clients. Very interesting experience!

La Carnicería, located in the lively Palermo Soho neighborhood of Buenos Aires, was founded by chef Pedro Pena and his partner German Sitz with a focus on meat-centric parrilla cuisine. Sitz, hailing from a family of Jewish immigrant cattle farmers in La Pampa province, sources grass-raised beef exclusively from his family estate Los Abuelos.
Phenomenal experience. All of the food was delicious, from the chorizo to the rib eye. The staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is pleasant and we enjoyed watching the chef cook the steaks in the open fire grill.

Sat at the bar and had excellent service; was served by the manager. All the food was amazing, the only part it felt short was that the deer was raw; however, he did tell me that he can’t cook it more or less before I ordered it, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this raw, I fly back tomorrow so can’t risk any issues otherwise I’d have eaten it - I should have gotten the strip instead. Would def come back - but not order the deer :) If I could - I’d also order their break and bone marrow as a bigger appetizer. It was delicious.
Zeeshan S — Google review
We had a great experience here. Very delicious meat, excellent service - attentive, helpful, friendly. Everything tasted really good, we loved it! A big surprise was the bone marrow as appetizer with the homemade bread - so good! And the desserts were a good finish. We would come back anytime.
Franziska S — Google review
Excellent meat quality, but it wasn't evenly cooked, parts of the same cut were dry and leather, others were tender and juicy. The chorizo and morcilla sausages were good, but the stuff on the side felt redundant. The French fries, not my thing, were excellent. Good amount of food. The staff was too busy and slow.
Javier K — Google review
This is one of my favorite restaurant anywhere. Spectacular food, friendly and attentive service even when the place is packed. I hate there 3 times and every time it was absolutely lovely. The steak, the beef rib, the sweetbreads, the bone marrow, everything was world class. For sure, when I get back to Buenos Aires, I'm stopping by for another of these meals I'll remember for a long long time.
Yanick L — Google review
Loved the staff and relaxed atmosphere. One of the best meals I’ve ever had–get the cauliflower for your side!
Ryan M — Google review
It was a shock what happened to me… i was there before they opened when they were open I was the second person to be seated on the bar which I can see everything the staff was so friendly and welcoming however the chef had some problem with me I can’t understand it until now my steak took one hour and 20 minutes to be served to me people who came after me by 20 minutes and seated got there steak before me and the chief made sure that i got the worse one cut and size!!! A message to the chef you can’t judge people by the way they look or by the way they like their meat cooked this is a terrible way to treat your customers in a place which was the winner of a Michelin star of 2024 I went out of my way to give a 20% tip because of your wonderful staff which honestly you don’t deserve them… was there on 10/30/2025 and will never come again.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Best steak I had in BA, better than at Michelin starred Don Julio. The added-on all you can eat appetizers was amazing and a great deal, the only problem is self control to not fill up on it before the steak. The steak was juicy and so incredibly tender. The soufflé potatoes were recommended by our waiter and it was amazing. Highly recommend the potatoes.

I would NOT recommend this place despite all reviews and high prices. Best of our selection was salad and sweetbread/Mollejas. I did order T-bone(medium) which was $72000, and it was tough and chewy, i was so disappointed and sad. I thought it was me, but my family ordered flank steak(medium) was chewy as well. Service???? VERY SLOW, our waiter didn't come to us for 20 minutes. Side dishes i'd recommend, mushrooms. Our bill was $250,000 with 2 beers and no other alcohol. Great view on the water.

Very good service. Beef Tartar and Beef Capaccio are a must. Desert is surprisingly delicious. Best Fran I ever have and Apple Tatin is not too sweet. Highly recommend.

An exceptional service, great quality meat and well presented plates. High end quality and price. Service is good, wine choicd is good. An.excellwnt plaxe for business or for couples. The view into the marina is super. Late evening the space near the maruna becomes less lit, which can be romantic or can be a challenge to read the menu, or both! Its a special restarajnt foe special occassions

Fantastic steak restaurant with great ambience right in Puerto Madero. The food was nothing short of amazing, the meat cooked to perfection and the staff was attentive. As is customary here in Buenos Aires, the wine selection was large which made it easy for steak pairing. Definitely recommend coming to this restaurant if you have the chance!

Cabaña Las Lilas restaurant, situated on the Puerto Madero Waterfront, holds a Michelin rating as of 2025. The atmosphere is delightful, the service is exceptional, and the steaks were outstanding, paired with a local Malbec wine, followed by ice cream and sorbet, and culminating with coffee. A truly memorable evening!

Amazing food and experience. Tomahawk steak came with a fire show. Interactions felt a tiny bit cold but that's likely because of the language barrier on both sides. Still a great night had by all!

Nestled in the heart of Buenos Aires, Parrilla Peña stands as a testament to the city's rich culinary heritage. This traditional Argentine steakhouse embraces a no-frills philosophy, focusing on expertly grilled meats that keep patrons coming back for more. The inviting and rustic ambiance creates a warm setting where families and friends gather around an open grill, savoring every delectable cut of beef alongside classic sides and an impressive array of Argentine wines.
Good vibes in this down to earth brightly lit place. I appreciate that they do half servings for some cuts, although in the case of the Bife de lomo pricewise it won't make much of a difference. The ribeye was so juicy and flavorful. I also like that they have half wine bottles at a reasonable price. The fries where not much to write home about though, but why bother in a parrilla.

Best place for classic Argentine food. The steaks are incredible. They welcome you with a delicious beef empanada and delightful bread. Great salads too. We didn’t stay for dessert but a table next to us was cleaning the plate of a large portion of tiramisu. Highly recommend 👍

Definitely the best place to have meat in Buenos Aires , Location is central , staff super friendly , special thanks to Raul our waiter who make this experience even better. This place really deserves a stop in Buenos Aires

A true Buenos Aires classic! Parrilla Peña is an excellent Argentinian grill that offers top-quality meat at very affordable prices. The cuts are perfectly cooked — juicy, flavorful, and served just the way a good parrilla should. The atmosphere is warm and traditional, full of local charm, and the service is fast and friendly, making you feel right at home. It’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike, and once you try it, you’ll understand why. And don’t leave without dessert — they serve one of the best flans in Buenos Aires, creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. Great meat, fair prices, and authentic Argentine flavor — a must-visit parrilla in the heart of the city.

Very good food and super nice service. The place seems to be already rather popular. You probably have to wait a bit outside before getting a table. It’s not possible to make a reservation, but they manage the waiting list very good. We waited around 15-20min to get a table in the evening.

We came here several times and it was always very busy. We would take tenderloin to share for 2 and it is more than enough meat. All the food is actually very very good, especially for the price you pay. The service is quick and friendly. Really recommended if you want to have a good peace of meat in a simple place. Be ready to smell like food though :)

The empanadas were amazing! The meat and the juice inside was heavenly. As for the meat the grilling technique was really good but they dont understand medium rare in english which came too cooked which was a pity. If you want the atmosphere of a local asador this is a good place. I dont think it is a tourist place at all.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I had one of the best meals in Buenos Aires. The empanada on the house started on a great note and the 'ojo de bife' was just perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. It tasted delicious and the price was very honest for what I ate! The house Malbec wine (a small bottle as I was on my now) was very good and exactly the right amount for a delicious rib-eye. Argentinian meat at its best!

Fantastic! Truly authentic Argentine Parilla experience. The steak was so good, I had to come back a second time. Friendly and helpful service, and old school decor that takes you back in time. I highly recommend a visit to this establishment for anybody who wants a taste of Argentina!

A True Gem 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💎 Superb service 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Local atmosphere. Empanadas: -Fried Beef empanadas: crispy, flaky and filled with tender cubes of beef. Juicy and flavorful One of the best in BA. -Ham and Cheese empanada: Rich, stringy cheese and with ham. Sooooo Good Rib eye was cooked a perfect medium rare . tender and juicy. Offal platter: different textures(crispy, chewy, rich and meaty). Delicious in every way . Sides: Avocado and Palm Heart. Nice and refreshing. House red wine . Generous pour. Complements the above. Local beer was cold, crisp and palette cleansing. Tiramisu was the best I’ve tasted. Not overly sweet, with the right amount of cream and coco powder . Very addicting. Fun staff and energetic locals. A place to immerse yourself in the Argentine spirit. If this review was helpful, please give it a 👍 Happy Eats

Honestly, great local city vibes. The steak was perfectly cooked for me, juicy and tender. The service has that rugged tough vibe, but certainly charming and attentive underneath. I came on Thursday night at 10PM, and the place was buzzing with people eating. Great place to enjoy good food and good Buenos Aires atmosphere.

Loved it. Used my broken Spanish to see if they could substitute the French fries for rice and they did it. Wonderful meat - even the thick piece at the end. Loved the old fashioned decor.

Pasta with meat was awful.. how could be made a pasta so badly?? Extremely boiled and there is no meat inside either.. Also short rib was cooked too much and very hard to chew Disappointed experience :(
Hatice T — Google review
Probably the best parrilla in the area, especially for offal lovers—their cuts are delicious. I recommend asking for your meat a bit more cooked than “a punto” if you prefer less pink; even when I ask for “a punto” here, it tends to come rarer, so I sometimes send it back for a touch more grilling. Restrooms could be cleaner and better organized, but overall it’s definitely a must-try spot.

This place is identified as a classic and you can see why. We read about it in a review on great steak joints and figured it was worth a try. Got a seat no problem but we were likely early by Argentinian standards! Food is good if not extraordinary, but the service is so enthusiastic and available to make the night great, the place delivers on everything you need. El Ferroviario Restaurant Parrilla is a charming, railroad-themed eatery located in the Liniers neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The restaurant has a rich history, once serving as a popular gathering spot for tango singers, poets, artists, and gauchos. Today, it continues to honor its legacy by offering a diverse menu that includes grilled meats and pasta dishes.
The most traditional and authentic restaurant we visited while in Argentina. A place not meant for tourists. Excellent service, delicious food and amazing beef cuts. The place is super busy even in single days. I guess on the weekends it must be impossible to enter if you don’t have a reservation. An amazing concept over all. I’d love to re visit if I ever return to Argentina. Our love from Greece

Unbelievable service. Food is amazing. Great pricing. Great enviorement. I would totally recommend. As many said, the most "local" place I visited and really great food. My only negative point about it is that I went solo and they could have send less food. I asked for separated foods but It might be misscommunication. Just to avoid wasting. Other than that, nothing bad to say about it.

5 of 5. The place and its vibes are beautiful. The people who serve you are always checking how you are doing, and they're very polite and attentive. The food is delicious and with big portions (almost all the dishes are to share with at least 3 people); we have all the dishes on the table just 20/25 minutes after they took our orden. It's the perfect place to go with friends and have a nice dinner.

Excellent steakhouse Argentinian style but with Italian pasta and many other assorted dishes. Full platter.
Mr L — Google review
Where to begin! First, I have to highlight the excellent service from our waitress Nicole, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The portions are absolutely massive, something to keep in mind when reading the menu and looking at the prices. Most dishes easily serve three to four people, depending on what you order. The milanesas were incredible, and so was the carne. For dessert, we had flan, volcán de chocolate, and panqueques; all rich, indulgent, and delicious. They’re definitely generous with portions and flavours; nothing feels skimpy. We went to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and they brought us a slice of cake with candles, and the entire restaurant joined in singing happy birthday. It was such a lovely moment. Truly, a beautiful experience that captures the very best of Argentina in one place.

Lovely dinner with a natural light show thanks to the thunderstorm the night we visited! Highly recommend booking in advance as it gets very busy, the cocktails and food are extremely good, would recommend trying a selection of starters as well as the skirt steak, for dessert the floating island was so good! We also got some amuse bouche to start with in the form of a mini cocktail, empanada and breads and butter which were unexpected but very tasty. The staff are fantastic and the whole experience was wonderful and unique 💜

Food wasn’t that great. For the price I was expecting much more. The cauliflower was hard and the meat overcooked. The empanada wasn’t good, neither the provoleta. The chocolate mousse tasty but didn’t like the presentation. Service was okay. I left the place smelling highly like barbecue. I will put less stars as I see they have so many fake reviews with 5 stars

Steak house in the Four Seasons. There is outdoor as well as greenhouse seating. We had grilled vegetables, steak, octopus, and an empanada plus a red Argentinian wine, plus the complimentary rolls and salsas. Everything was excellent. The service was pretty good but was lacking in some areas.

The location is unbeatable. Right next to the maison at the Four Seasons, I was shocked by how good it was. Meats are its strong point, and Inhighly suggest trying the tenderized beef ravioli. Presentation, service and food quality are top notch, as you'd expect from a location at a high profile property. And prices were surprisingly good as well. Definitely a must-try.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nuestra Secreto located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, and it was one of the most exquisite experiences I have ever had. From the friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff to the flavorful and aesthetically pleasing dishes, it was truly a special day. The menu had a variety of both local and international cuisine, and the presentation of each plate was simply breathtaking. The flavors were robust and really highlighted the native Argentinean ingredients used. My favorite part of the day was being able to try the different seasonal dishes that were available that day. All in all, my experience at Nuestra Secreto was top-notch, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious yet comforting dining experience.

Great food: the grilled octopus and croguettas were awesome! We also had the meat empanada, fillet and ribeye that were delicious. The steaks were huge and we could not finish them. The roasted vegetables with romesco sauce were tasty too. The Argentinian red wine was good also. Our main server was a bit on the rough side, but there were other servers who made up for her inexperience.

Lovely ambience in a little greenhouse in the Four Seasons. One of the best parilla this side of town. Also, one of the few places in BA to cook our steak to a proper medium rare, yet with a good crust outside. And I liked their reimagination of a morcilla with the croquette, The dressing on the salad was a tad heavy though.

My husband and I are visiting from the U.S. and decided to try the 9-course meal at this restaurant. The staff was fluent in both English and Spanish, and everyone was incredibly professional and helpful. They explained each meat and dish in detail, cooking and plating everything right in front of us. The atmosphere was perfect for both couples and groups of friends. Every single dish was absolutely delicious — some of the best meat we’ve ever had! The short ribs, in particular, were fall-off-the-bone tender, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It truly felt like the food melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

Quite the dining experience, spanning a three hour period. We experienced this 9 course degustation menu in late September 2025 and recommend it to other travellers. Fogón .. an absolute experience! •The atmosphere 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ •The staff 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they were great and absolutely on their game! •The food 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️was astounding, a bit too much but absolutely delightful •The wine 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. I think the wine program could use some help. For a Michelin restaurant I think there needs to be more of an option than just the wine pairing. In other words if you’ve not been there before your only option is to have their set wine pairing. You can’t order a glass or a bottle of wine only the pairing. In my opinion only one of the wines paired well with one of the courses. The rest were mediocre and a couple were not on par for a Michelin level dinner. I would recommend they change that program. Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I think you get an amazing experience for the price. In the States, Europe, Japan and experience like that would cost hundreds per person. •Final notes. Go hungry take some pictures and put your phone away and enjoy this wonderful experience. The staff will take care of every need and are there to make sure your experience is exceptional.
David F — Google review
It’s a gourmet asado place. Honestly, for the price we paid, it wasn’t worth it. It doesn’t even come close to a real Argentinian asado. We also paid extra for the wine pairing, and they only gave us one glass per course (5 tastings) with no refills, even though they explained it differently before we bought it. In total, we spent around 320,000 ARS (about 232 USD) per person. For that price, we expected a much better overall experience.
Jorge P — Google review
A fantastic experience. We had the tasting menu with matched wine. The food was outstanding and the service brilliant. Plenty of wine for only one payment of $38,000! Highly recommended the experience, seeing the chefs cook whilst they explain the cuts was so interesting. We had also been to don julio but have to say Fogon was far superior and a lot better value.
R S — Google review
It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. From the moment you're greeted at the door you're taken care of very carefully. The ambient is amazing, the order of the room with all the tables circling the fire in the middle prepares you for what's to come. Each table gets a staff member assigned. From there they'll start explaining to you about the next plate. The food was spectacular, the wine accompaniment is also in harmony with the food. The music adds to the ambient but without being too loud for a conversation. As the event is going towards the end you'd wish it'd never end. An unforgettable evening. Highly recommended.

***A pre-paid, reservation-only immersive dining experience that will please most if on their first day visit of Buenas Aires*** This will likely please most if on their first day visit to blBuenas Aires. My wife and I are on our 5th day and have already feasted various asados around town from those boutique parrilla offerings in San Telmo Mkt to Don Julio and anything in between. Unfortunately, there was no wow-no woo for us. Still, it’s a decent experience that will please most. Very hospitable chefs and servers explaining each dish before they course out 9 or 14 dish options that wraps up in approx 2.5 hrs. Star of the show was the Pine Cone smoked Flat Iron. Finale (ribeye) was actually a let-down as it lacked the signature Argentine smokey-ness and intensity. Weak outer layer that made the whole rib eye chow down like a sou vide first then weak sear on a non stick pan.

Las Cabras is a bustling Argentinean eatery that's popular for its generous servings of parrillada, or grilled meats. It's affectionately known as 'The Goats Head' by expats and is always crowded with eager diners, drawn in by the hearty portions and the quirky touch of serving house wine in penguin jugs.
I had the best dinner in Buenos Aires here!! Truly amazing food! We had steak that was cooked to perfection and incredible desserts. The house wine was delicious! The waiters were very polite and patient with us as we couldn’t speak Spanish. An unforgettable experience! I would recommend this place to anyone that comes to Buenos Aires!!!

The food was very good. The meat 🍖 was very tasty, the salads too and the quesadillas were very good.
Estefania O — Google review
Las Cabras has turned into a complete disappointment. The food quality is awful now — their asado is mostly fat and nothing like it used to be. But what really shocked me was the service. The waiter manually added a tip to my bill without asking, and even worse, he only did it to my wife because she is Asian. None of the other tables were treated this way. That’s not just dishonest — it’s discriminatory. Yo viví 15 años en la Argentina y ningún restaurant me hizo lo que ellos me hicieron. That says it all. When I confronted the staff, they brushed it off like it was nothing. Between the decline in food, the shady billing, and the discriminatory treatment, this place has completely lost my trust. Never again.

Guilherme R — Google review
The place is very nice, with a happy, lively vibe, but it is also way overstuffed with small tables and gets quickly overcrowded and loud and service becomes understandably rather slow in all aspects (from coming to get your order, to bringing the food, to coming back to ask if you want something more and so on). Food is good, but in my opinion, in a city where you gan get great food at similar, if not lower, prices, that is not enough. We had two chicken dishes and both were rather small. The presentation of the plates is also very basic, to the point of being "sad" with large and almost empty plates and the side (salad) is nothing more than passable. Not a bad place, per se, but in my opinion definitely not what it's hyped to be. It might get four stars if it were in a different city, but we found so many better alternatives in Buenos Aires...

Santos Manjares is a popular lunch spot located near Retiro in Buenos Aires, within walking distance from Recoleta or San Telmo. Despite being close to major tourist attractions like the Obelisk and Plaza de Mayo, it's a favorite among locals and tourists for its delicious steaks. Initially open only for lunch, due to high demand, it now serves until late evening. The restaurant offers a great atmosphere with attentive servers.

The meat is spectacular. We ordered a ojo de bife to share, and it was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Despite being more affordable than other nearby restaurants, the quality of the food is noticeably superior. You can ask for different sizes to share or to est individually. The portions are good. The place can get a bit crowded, but the service is warm and attentive. Definitely a must-visit.

Today I visited Santos Manjares, a well-known parrilla restaurant. At the entrance, it was quite busy, so there was a short wait for a table. I came with a group, but I’ll share my own experience. The waitress was kind, although it took a little while to get her attention since the place was crowded. I ordered the Bife de Chorizo (350g) with salad — one nice thing is that you can choose your side or mix up to three ingredients in your salad. I asked for the meat blue, and it was very good, though a bit tough today. The place itself was nice, and the atmosphere was pleasant. There was no music, which made it quieter and more relaxed.
Agezzio J — Google review
We came here on our first night in Buenos Aires, but I’m writing this after five nights in the city so I could fairly compare the food. We ordered a bife de chorizo (NY strip) and an ojo de bife (ribeye), both medium, one with salad and one with fries. The steaks had an excellent char that added great flavor, and the portions were generous for individual orders. That said, each cut had its issues. The ojo de bife came out well-done—no pink at all—though it stayed tender and easy to eat. The bife de chorizo was cooked to the right temperature but was surprisingly tough and chewy. The salad was fresh and crisp; the fries were a bit oily and unevenly crispy. On the plus side, the wine list was excellent—plenty of high-rated Vivino bottles at very reasonable prices—and the steaks themselves were fairly priced too. In a city packed with parrillas, I’d try somewhere else next time. Nothing was terrible, which is why I’m giving it a middle of the road 3 stars.
Javi C — Google review
A hidden gem that far exceeded my expectations. I lived in Argentina for about two years, always passed by this place, but never went in because it looked too touristy. Before a concert at the Colón, I was hungry and finally decided to give it a try—and I’m glad I did. I ordered an Ojo de Bife, which was excellent. Yes, it had a bit of fat and some tough parts; in higher-end restaurants those are usually trimmed better. But honestly, it didn’t matter—the flavor and doneness were spot on. I had also ordered two empanadas just to try, but they never brought them (likely forgot), which is why I gave service only three stars. The staff were friendly and smiling, but service was slow, and responses took too long. It really feels like they don’t write things down, so mistakes happen. That said, the value was outstanding. In Buenos Aires you can’t normally get a steak of this quality for under 35,000 pesos, and I paid around 22,000 pesos. For that price, it was incredible. It’s not overly touristy either, which makes it even better. In short: fantastic steak, great prices, and a place I would absolutely recommend. Just keep in mind that if you’re in a hurry, the slow service could be frustrating.

Restaurant
Lo de Jesús is a renowned upscale bar and grill in Buenos Aires, known for offering an extensive wine list and a sophisticated dining experience. Situated in an old store previously owned by a man named Jesus and his wife, it provides a great alternative to the often crowded Don Julio. The restaurant is famous for its excellent steak, with popular cuts being the bife de chorizo and ojo de bife.
Lo de Jesús is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for top-quality Argentine meat in a stylish yet relaxed setting. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the service was professional and friendly from start to finish. I ordered the bife de chorizo, which was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My friend had the lomo, served with roasted peppers in the center, and it was equally excellent. We also had freshly made lemonades, which were the perfect refreshing touch to our meal. The wine list is impressive, with a wide range of Argentine labels, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful if you’re not sure what to pair with your dish. It’s definitely on the pricier side compared to other parrillas in the city, but the quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience make it well worth it. Whether you’re visiting Buenos Aires or you’re a local looking for a great parrilla experience, Lo de Jesús is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This is a true gem in Buenos Aires. The steaks are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, cooked just the way you ask, and full of flavor. The ambience is warm and lively, with a mix of locals and visitors that makes the place feel authentic yet welcoming. The wine list is excellent — you can find a perfect Malbec to pair with your meal. Service is attentive without being rushed, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit if you want a real taste of Argentine dining. Tip: you get some discount if you pay cash😀

The service is great. The staff is very attentive and amiable. 5-stars on that front. They have a take-away menu that differs from the dine-in one in several dishes. The one that (to my taste) was best, chicken and rice, is only available in the take-away menu. I had high hopes for the grilled chicken and the potato salad, but they regrettably left me slightly disappointed. Overall a positive experience and a solid recommendation to go and try.
Anas K — Google review
Cozy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is longer than an Argentine’s excuse for being late. Their specialty? Beef cuts, no doubt. Here, meat is religion and the Ribeye is the messiah. They took one look at my professionally hungry face and knew it wasn’t going to be a salad day. I was so hungry they offered me bread before I even sat down. Then came the Ribeye — a steak heavy enough to use as a gym weight — served with a ridiculous amount of mashed potatoes, like… sculptable levels of potato. That cow did not die in vain; it gave everything for the cause. There’s WiFi and they accept contactless payment, which in 2025 should be as standard as having napkins on the table.
Valek — Google review
Steak not so good, I asked for well done and the thing was barely cooked as you can see the red inside. The service was not so good for such a high end wanna be place. The waitress took one of the plate without asking if we were done or not. That’s is a no. You have to wait everyone in the table is done. They only serve you one time bread and that’s it. Salad portions are a joke. I won’t mind to pay if the place is good but for the price there is better parrillas to eat in my opinion. Also washroom need to be upgraded.

What a wonderful restaurant to visit during our first couple days in Buenos Aires. The owner was so warm and hospitable, the gardens beautiful and of course the steak🤩. The empanadas are completely different than the ones I’ve tried abroad… much finer here!

El Obrero is a renowned bodegon in the historic neighborhood of La Boca, Buenos Aires. This iconic restaurant has been serving prime cuts since 1910 and offers an authentic porteno experience. The walls are adorned with soccer and boxing memorabilia, creating a nostalgic ambiance that transports diners to a bygone era. Despite its unchanged appearance since the 1950s, El Obrero provides extremely hospitable service.
El Obrero is a classic in Buenos Aires. Not far from La Bombonera, on Barrio de La Boca, it's a gem in this neighbourhood. It's true that it is easy to find great restaurants and amazing meat in Buenos Aires, but El Obrero is a highlight on the city. When we visited it, it was only opened for dinners. You will probably read a lot about how dangerous it can be this south part of the city, but we truly had no problems. We walked there, from the stadium, and we left by bus. You can also take a taxi, and it should be no problem. Of course, regular caution should be taken. Inside, the environment is great and football scarves and jerseys are the regular decoration. They serve angentinian food, with a great focus on the grills. We had Bife Chorizo and Bife Lomo, to try two different cuts. They were both grilled "al punto", which is slightly more grilled than we are used to, but we trusted the recommendation. They were both great, and we preferred the lomo - a bit more pink, juicy and tasty. The service was also very close and familiar. Despite the location, I strongly recommend it to give El Obrero the chance it deserves.

La Dorita is a hidden gem that has been serving delicious steaks for 20 years. Located away from the main street, it offers a quiet ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant's interior is uniquely decorated with interesting lighting. The portions are generous, and the meat selection is excellent. Great restaurant with excellent service! And ambiance. Dine amongst the locals. Loismar took exceptional care of us. From start to finish, this was an unforgettable dining experience. The meat was simply outstanding — cooked to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Without question, it’s the best in the city, and every bite reminded me why this place has such a reputation for quality. But what truly elevated the evening was the service. Elias and Patricio went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. They brought so much warmth and professionalism, adding a personal touch that made the night feel special. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality turned what could have been just another good meal into something memorable and unique. The combination of world-class food and such exceptional service is rare, and it’s clear the team here takes real pride in creating an experience rather than just a dinner. Restaurante Corte Comedor is a casual eatery with a leafy terrace that specializes in grilled meat dishes. The restaurant's unique concept stems from its origins as a butcher shop, where they prioritize the traceability of their meat, ensuring they know the breed, upbringing, and feeding system of the animals they use. This approach allows them to utilize every part of the animal in their menu, showcasing a commitment to nose-to-tail dining.
A restaurant paired with a butcher shop is truly a winning formula. With top-quality ingredients and the perfect balance of fire and care, the result is outstanding. My ribeye was so incredible, it’s hard to think of anything that compares.

This restaurant is easy to get you from The Belgrano C train station. Reservations require a guarantee payment in case of no show. We asked for the Bife de Chorizo to be cooked Punto and the Ojo de Bife con hueso to be jugoso. The Ojo de Bife was served in a fancy sizzling fashion. Both cuts were tough and in our opinion chewy and over cooked. The salads were amazing. We had a peach tomato basil salad with a dressing that was divine. The kale salad was also delicious. It seems as though their ensaladas are seasonal, which makes the fresh and delicious. Other sides: the bread was delicious. The empanadas were really good. The french fries were cut correctly. We would definitely go back for the salads and sides!

The food was lovely but served rapid fire. We were barely halfway through eating the entrees before the main was brought to the table. I would have expected more attention to detail at this quality of restaurant and it made the experience feel like they were rushing us out to get the table back. And then its like they forgot us because we couldn't get their attention to request the check...then when we finally did ask for it, they never brought it. The entrees (tartare and croquettes) were excellent, the meat great, the vegetable sides (the leek and the broccoli) were ok.

Nuestra Parrilla is a must-visit spot in Buenos Aires, located in the San Telmo Market. It was founded by sommelier Samantha Nilson, who carefully curates a monthly selection of Argentina's finest wines available by the glass. The highlight of Nuestra Parrilla is its famous spicy chorizo sandwich, known as choripan, which many consider to be the best in Buenos Aires.
A laid-back and friendly spot with amazing flavors! The place is small and has a casual, relaxed vibe. We tried several dishes, and everything was delicious, but the choripan was absolutely outstanding! However, it gets really crowded on weekends, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Still, the great food and atmosphere make it totally worth it! ❤️❤️

I was on my way to a bar when I walked past this place. I wasn't particularly hungry as I'd already eaten, but this place caught my eye. I looked inside and knew that I had to get something, seeing all of the eye catching pieces of meat being grilled. I got a steak baguette with a glass of red wine for three Euro at the exchange rate at the time. It had a very generous and thick piece of meat on a lovely crunchy baguette and was extremely flavourful and cooked just right, lovely and tender. I also added some chimichurri too, which just added to the flavour. The wine was decent too, especially considering the price. Seemed to be a popular place and I could see why.

The Argentine Experience in Palermo Hollywood offers a unique and interactive dining experience for tourists and newcomers to Buenos Aires. It's not just a restaurant, but an opportunity to learn about the local food culture through fun activities like empanada baking contests, mate lessons, and unlimited wine. The highlight is the perfectly cooked beef steak from grass-fed cattle. Guests can also don chef hats and learn to make empanadas while sipping on Malbec.
We had such a great time at the Argentine Experience! Food was great and so was the service. I loved that they sat us in large groups so we can get to know other travelers. They explained the food we were eating and its relevance in the Argentinean culture. The empanada making contest was so fun. The workers make a conscious effort to learn and remember your names and connect with you throughout the whole experience.

Boy, did I step out of my box for this one. And truthfully, I'm glad I did! One of our activities in Buenos Aires was to this empanada-making class that included dinner. If you're thinking "I'm not a chef or cook, I just love to eat" like I was, stow it! It was really fun. This coming from a guy who loathes communal tables! ATMOSPHERE: The two level biz does dual experiences of different food types at almost the same time. Downstairs features a bar and communal high top, and the upstairs where we were, had a service bar (no seats) and another communal high top. THE EXPERIENCE: My spouse and I arrived, were bubbly greeted and were taken upstairs where 4 of the 19 total students were already seated. What an odd moment of silence this was as I'm not a very friendly individual at the get-go. Glasses of wine mixed with apple juice was served, with white wine next. As the room filled, the odd silence was finally broken as more individuals gathered, making small conversation. We met a family from Australia, California and Georgia. Everyone had a great time! Our "teacher" told stories in a comedic way and provided info on the food being presented. Then started the endless follow of red wine throughout the evening. First up was Patagonian trout tartar served on a crostini. It was good, and a light app to start with. We then started the empanada making with a history lesson then hands-on work. We made two empanadas, one the traditional way, the second one being a creative piece of our own to be judged and awarded with a pic on their Facebook page. After sending the traditional one back to be cooked, we then had 10 minutes to create a masterpiece of our own. I had intended on making an American football, but after forming my empanada, a cat's face was beginning to take shape, which I the spent the entire 10 minutes doing! Then, our traditional empanadas were served, along with a hot ceramic platter of cheese balls, a spread of blood & chorizo sausages and lemony-flavored pork strips. Then, another platter comes out full of potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, parsnip and sliced corn on the cob, along with a good-sized cut of filet mignon, cooked perfectly. For dessert was a mini spatula with two cubes of cheese on it topped with an orange and brown cube each, that we were to guess what they were. Turns out the orange one was pumpkin and the brown one was tree fibers soaked in a sugar mixture, which texture wise was very fibrous. Then, we made our own dulce de leche macaroons, dipped in ground coconut and melted chocolate. Last but not least was making our own maté tea. A cup with a steel self-filtering straw, hot water and dried maté tea leaves were brought out. We filled the cup halfway with tea, cupped the top with our palm and shook it to "dust" the tea. Add water and enjoy. Tasted like ordinary tea to me. The creative empanada winner was announced and sadly it wasn't yours truly. We then took a group photo and said our goodbyes. OVERALL: So why not 5 stars? Table seating was tight, and I couldn't see some of the demos since the instructor was at the opposite end of the table. Still, a fun thing to do in BA!

Each dish was not just delicious but deeply rooted in culture and storytelling. What truly made the evening unforgettable, though, were our hosts Stephanie, Kandie and Vladimir. Their personable, warm, and highly attentive approach transformed a great experience into an extraordinary one. They didn’t just serve food — they created magic with their energy, humor, and attention to detail, ensuring every guest felt connected and fully immersed in the moment. Stephano’s passion for Argentine culture and cuisine was infectious, while Kandie’s and Vladimir’s charm and care brought a level of hospitality that’s rare to find. Together, they crafted a night full of laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories. If you’re in Buenos Aires and want more than just a meal — if you’re looking for a sensory, social, and cultural experience — this is it. Truly one of the highlights of our trip. If you're on the hunt for an authentic Argentinian steak experience, look no further than Calden del Soho Grill in Buenos Aires. This charming eatery stands out with its unique operating hours, remaining open all afternoon without a siesta—perfect for those who need to squeeze in a meal without prior reservations. While it may not have the same fame as Don Julio or La Cabrera, Calden del Soho offers mouthwatering steaks at wallet-friendly prices, with generous portions that won't break the bank.
Very good experience, nice, traditional ambiance and food and wine, cost effective. Meat was delicious, we tried the "chorizo" and the "ojo de bife", both were excellent. Good service too. Better make a reservation, we saw a lot of people not being able to find a table as it was full. Highly recommended!

The food here is amazing! I had the rib eye (ojo de bife) and it was perfect — juicy red center with a crispy fat cap, exactly how an Argentine parrilla should be. Just a heads-up for folks from North America: their “medium” is more like a medium-rare back home. The beef is grass-fed, simply seasoned with salt, and grilled over wood or charcoal, so you really taste the flavor. Add the crusty bread and spicy chimichurri, and I was in heaven. Bonus: they give a discount if you pay cash. Definitely worth it!

An unforgettable experience at Calden del Soho Grill I've been to many steakhouses, but Calden del Soho Grill in Buenos Aires stood out for its excellence across the board. Tourist Trap. Expensive prices and low quality meat. I ordered the Medallon Lomo which normally is a very tender filet. But the meat delivered was a very tough cheap cut of beef, very hard to chew. It was not a lomo / filet. I had been to Calden in the past years with better experience. This time AR$50000 for a tough peace of meat was a big disappoinment. The good news is there are many other parrillas in Buenos Aires.

I sat upstairs and it was one of the best ambience for a dinner. Amazing service as well. Meat cooked decently. Side dishes were good.

I visited this place based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. The bread was stale and lacked flavor, the rúcula salad was overly sweet, and the mashed potatoes tasted strongly of margarine. The ribs we ordered were also disappointing—tough and full of connective tissue and fat. While the service was acceptable, it took a long time to receive our check."

The establishment is renowned for its high-quality cuts of beef and an impressive wine list, making it a must-visit for culinary enthusiasts.
We love Estilo Campo - from the attentive service, to the nice atmosphere, to the EXCELLENT food, you cannot go wrong. Seriously the best steak I’ve ever had in my life.

Everything was above average but there was something lacking that prevents me from giving them a five star rating. The service was a bit pretentious and inconsistently observant. The food was well prepared and served without much presentation, but no checking on it after delivery to see if everything ok. A solid 4 star rating and not bad for the port area, but riding more on its reputation than current service and experience offer.

The wine smells like sangria and is a bit dry but perfect with the steak. The steak is soooo juicy and beautiful. Tastes amazing! The two brown things are basically fancy mozzarella sticks. Pretty good. Everything is fresh. This place is incredible

We had such a great time here! Amazing steak, delicious wine and such great serving staff! Made our last night in Buenos Aires very special!
Collette F — Google review
The asado itself was decent and the ambiance was great. But the service was "absolutely" terrible. Gustavo was in charge of our table, and he was rude from beginning to end, making the entire dining experience uncomfortable. I don’t understand why we had to pay that much money only to receive such unfriendly service. While we spoke at least basic Spanish, he made no effort to speak even a single word of English—whether because he couldn’t or wouldn’t—and became visibly annoyed when we didn’t speak Spanish fluently. He didn’t explain a single thing about the menu, and later, when we simply asked for an itemized bill to settle the check among ourselves, there must have been some miscommunication—but instead of clarifying, he complained to the manager right in front of us, making the situation even more awkward. If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience, I would suggest avoiding this restaurant—or at least avoiding Gustavo. A place at this price point should invest in proper staff training.

Estilo Campo is located in the heart of Buenos Aires' bustling restaurant district, situated on the riverbank. It was listed as the top 10 best restaurants in town by food experts. The restaurant has elegant interior décor and large venue. Unlike typical US dining hours, Estilo Campo opens at 8pm. When we arrived promptly, the first thing we saw was an army of eager waiters ready to serve. Our lead waiter, Mr. Fernando, was super friendly and knowledgeable, recommending exceptional meat-driven dishes. I opted for the Tira de Asado (Argentina style grilled beef short ribs) perfectly paired with a glass of Malbec, one of Argentina's well-known red wines. The dinner was truly unforgettable, but be prepared for generous portions - the amount of meat served could easily feed a family of four! For a couple of seniors, it might be better to order a single entrée to share. Nonetheless, Estilo Campo is a great place to visit for any food enthusiast traveling to Buenos Aires.

Nestled in the vibrant Villa Crespo neighborhood, Don Zoilo has been a culinary staple for over 35 years, serving an impressive eleven thousand diners each month. This beloved eatery is known for its impeccable dining room adorned with crisp white tablecloths and waiters dressed in bow ties, creating an inviting yet classy atmosphere. Despite its formal appearance, Don Zoilo exudes a warm and welcoming vibe where families and friends come together to enjoy exceptional meals.
What a wonderful restaurant. It’s definitely a traditional Argentine place. The quality of the food and taste is exquisite and well worth your money. The service is attentive and helpful. They are readily available to swap out your utensils and plates as needed. This was one of the best restaurants I ate at in Buenos Aires. Ordered a mix of all the traditional Argentine plates.

Super friendly staff and a very well cooked good steak. I don't order steak out in the states as I'm always dissapointed in quality and price. This place was great, I got a huge aged steak, salad, empanadas, and a nice bottle of wine all for about $40 usd. I did have to wait about an hour but visited the brewery next door. I would happily come back here. My waiter was awesome too.

Typical argentinian barbecue place! Food is awesome and abundant! Prices are good! You can also experience the warmth of an argentinian waiter and the atmosphere is great for meetings and families alike. I really recommend the place!
Agustín C — Google review
We had try to come to this restaurant for over 1 months, and finally got reservations for last Saturday night, there was a line of over 100 people waiting for a table. We got to our table and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We got the smoked ham provoleta and the sweetbreads for appetizers and both were delicious. Had 2 bottles of Malbec and each of us got our own cut of beef, from bife de Lomo to asado de tira, ojo de bife and entraña. We got one salad and mashed potatoes. All that was out of this world. We had flan with dulce de leche and some champagne courtesy of the house. Overall it was one of the best steakhouse I had ever been in Buenos Aires.
Jose I — Google review
One of my favourite restaurants in Buenos Aires . The quality is amazing, The meat is cooked exactly as requested and is super tender and tasty. My personal recommendation is to get the ribeye steak (ojo de bife ) . prices are fair too You just need to be aware of 2 things : 1: go early since it is a really popular place 2: portions are designed to be shared , each is usually too much for one so sharing with others and trying a bit of each is the way to go here.
Roger D — Google review
One of the best parilla places in Buenos Aires! Their starter bread is delicious but don’t eat too much because their portions are generous and worth every penny of the (quite honestly, expensive) price. We ordered a salad, chinchulin, mollejas, ojo de bife, entraña, mashed potatoes, and asado de tiro. The balsamic vinaigrette that came with the salad was the best I’ve ever had. It had a slight sweet and perfectly acidic taste that went extremely well with the oil and greens in the salad. The mashed potatoes were great (I mean, how could you mess up mashed potatoes?) as well. The intestines and cow neck parts are usually not my favorite but they made it very well here and they were just fatty enough. The star of the show must be the ojo de bife. It was amazingly tender and I’ve never had anything like it. It was cooked to perfection and very juicy. The ribs and skirt steak were okay. The group I went with said it’s usually better quality so I trust that it would have been as superb as the ojo de bife if they had served us better quality cuts. If you do go here, make a reservation or arrive just as they open. They are notorious for not picking up the phone for reservations or just being booked full all the time. However, they have a seating area for walk-in’s so arrive early!

Great fusilli and service, portions are generally for 2 (good for share), come by 8pm if you want to eat right away.. otherwise wait (wait time) outside to be seated.

Classic restaurant, food is okay or great. Some dishes are too expensive like meat others are to share and cheap like pastel de papas. Usually you have to wait in a long queue outside specially at night

El Boliche de Nico is a colorful parrilla located a bit further from the heart of Buenos Aires. The extensive menu offers great options for two or even three people, with fast service and friendly staff. While the fries could be better, the Argentinian beef and wine are perfect. It's reasonably priced for this area, making it a great steak place on a budget.

The restaurant takes pride in serving cuts of meat from local producers that prioritize biodiversity, resulting in mouthwatering dishes like ribeye, center-cut barbecue, and skirt steak. The ambiance is spacious with minimalist decor, providing a genuine taste of Argentina's parilla culture.
Beautiful spot with a great vibe and excellent staff. The meat was very high quality, but what really stood out were all the sides and appetizers. They pay attention to every last detail! I’ve never had Argentine classics like provoleta, empanadas, sweet breads, and flan prepared this well. Special thanks to Luci and Mariana for a great experience!

We had a fantastic meal here for a date night (and a mini plus 1). The food was great - although we made a mistake of ordering asado. The Mollejas with the lime was brain altering. I’ve never enjoyed them before trying them here. The little thin slices of lime was the perfect addition to the flavours. The chunchis were lovely and the vacío was mouthwatering and the sommelier recommended a Merlot that changed how we have wine. They also had kids plates and cutlery which made our baby feel involved. Would come again tomorrow try the other dishes and other cuts of meat.

Awesome local Parrilla! We had a large group of family and colleagues. We had the best night with good wines, great food and excellent service. I highly recommend this spot for locals or anyone visiting.

Lovely place. Friendly service, but a really, really slow kitchen - appetizers took 20 minutes to arrive, and after they were cleared, it took 50 minutes to get main courses, despite repeated promises from our waitress that the food was on its way out in mere moments. And, while we loved the roasted sweetbread, the rest of it was rather mediocre. The chistorra with beans - the beans were so undercooked they crunched; the heirloom tomato salad had two pieces of heirloom tomatoes, the rest was just regular cherry/grape tomatoes; and the hanger steak was near flavorless, even if it was nice and tender. A big disappointment all around. Oh, and giving each guest a card with QR codes on it at the end of the meal so that they can write reviews from their phones before leaving is about the tackiest thing I've ever seen in a restaurant, and I've seen a lot of tacky.

NOTE: This place is cash only*** Paul was our server and he was so kind and helpful. He gave us the best recommendations for what to order. The best from the grill was just enough to keep us warm too. This was a place that seemed to be frequented mostly by locals which was exactly what we were looking for: an authentic “parilla” experience! The food was incredible and very affordable. We got the chorizo, grilled cheese, and asado. We will definitely be coming back here!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, no frills just great food and wine at an amazing price, the meat was cooked really well and the portion size was bigger than I anticipated. The wine list was great and being able to buy a half bottle was really helpful. We had to wait for around 25 mins to be seated as this place gets reserved and filled as soon as it opens so be prepared to wait or come just before 8 to secure a table. And fair play to the server who managed to look after all those tables by himself and not forget anyone

Lo de Charly is a lively neighborhood grill in Villa Ortuzar that has been a classic for over 30 years. It's open 24/7, except for Christmas and New Year's, making it a popular spot for late-night cravings. The grill serves succulent meat dishes at affordable prices and is known for its slogan 'where the fire never goes out.'
The food came in huge portions, and relatively quickly. The only downside is the number of waiters, so that every request takes a long time (bringing ketchup for the kids took some 10 minutes). Relatively cheap, a very good price to quality ratio

Last weekend I went to a restaurant and I really enjoyed the experience. The place looked very clean and organized, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The service was excellent. The waiter was friendly and always made sure that my glass of water was full. On the table, everything was perfectly set: a fork, a knife, a spoon, and a cup. There was also a bowl with fresh bread and butter, and a bottle of oil and vinegar for the salad. The salt and pepper shakers were clean and easy to use. I even noticed a corkscrew placed near the wine section, ready in case customers ordered a bottle. The food was delicious. I ordered an asado, and it was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The meat was served with vegetables, and the presentation was excellent. Later, I enjoyed a hot drink in a big mug, which was the perfect way to finish the meal. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food, the attention, and the cleanliness were all excellent. I will definitely come back!

La Escondida has the best chinchulines among all the chinchulines I had in Buenos Aires. It's so crispy with great flavor! I can't believe how they price bottles of wines here because it's like 1/5 of the ones in the States. I also loved the locro which I did not expect to like it this much; but if you are Korean you can imagine it as a doganitang with some chicken flavors and lots of beans. It might sound little weird but believe me, if I lived in this country locro would've been my comfort food, hangover food, and homefood. But to be honest, I think they could've done better on that coleslaw because it had no flavor but just a lot of mayo in it.

Amazing! Ended up here as my son lives close by and he recommended this place. Phenomenal cuts of beef! Flavor like I've never had before on a piece of meat. SERIOUSLY! And so tender and succulent. Really a work of art - not sure how else to describe it. Side were absolutely fantastic too. From the bread, to the provoleta completa to the wine - everything was just perfect. Kept returning to eat there as I kept thinking about their steaks. Definitely my favorite steak place in BA and you can be sure I'll return when im back in BA.

Was in Buenos Aires for the night and wanted to try some parrillada. In case you did not know, Argentinians love beef gizzards as much as steak. This place had no reviews or a web site, nice to have, but overrated in my opinion. Atmosphere was cozy and traditional, help was excellent and complementary appetizers were great. Place was also not crowded, perhaps because it was a Tuesday. If you're in this area of BA, check it out.

Siga La Vaca is a restaurant located in the charming neighborhood of Puerto Madero. The name translates to 'follow the cow,' and it's known for its all-you-can-eat grilled steak experience, which includes chorizo, grilled steer chitterlings, and lamb sweetbreads for around $35. The restaurant features a salad and dessert bar as well. Visitors can enjoy a buffet-style salad bar and then select their choice of meat cut from the chefs at the grill.
Irresistible meat selections to choose from. My pick is the beef ribs. The salad bar has a wide spread of green and fruits to savor. The waitress was attentive and I took the buffet option to try all kinds of meat. The complimentary bread was warm and soft. There was simply nothing to complain about.

Today we visited this wonderful place based on numerous recommendations, reviews and advice from friends. Of course, our expectations were high, but I haven't experienced such disappointment for a long time. The first thing that surprised me was that almost all the meat was cold. The asado was so fatty that there was no meat in it. The staff who gave out the meat seemed very uninterested in the quality and cut off the worst pieces. Overall, the meat seemed to be of low quality, and the cost of almost $40 per person is definitely not justified. In other restaurants, the meat is better quality and cheaper. Apparently it was better before.

This very large, casual All You Can Eat restaurant located in the Puerto Madera barrio of Buenos Aires was highly recommended to us by at least 3 different people from Buenos Aires. Although we were able to walk in without any reservation on a weekday for lunch, I imagine there could be a wait for tables, as there seem to be a lot of seats in the wait areas right outside and just inside the restaurant. For the AYCE buffet, diners can serve themselves from the salad bar, appetizers (with very good empanadas), grilled meats selections, and French fries. Included at one person are water, wine or beer, and choice of dessert. The grilled meats I tried, bife chorizo and piranha, are not that tender but tasty. The chorizo and black pudding sausage are also just so-so. Try everything and come back for seconds (or thirds) on the items you like, as I did (I asked for any meat that's tender and cooked medium rare!) Service is prompt and friendly despite our limited Spanish. All in all, I would say go here for the experience!

If you enjoy meat that are cooked with real fire then this place is a must. From the minute you walk in the door you can smell that amazing smell of meat being cooked the right way. Since this is a buffet style restaurant you also have the advantage of trying several kinds of meat. The meat was cooked to perfection and the side dishes had a good veriety. I really enjoyed this restaurant.

Just went here again. Loved the meat of course ! The dessert was lovely as well (1 per person included in the price). You can also have some drinks included in the price. We had a bottle of wine and some water. Wine was lovely. The new addition to the experience is that they offer to zip tie your bag to the chair so noone steals it while you are up getting food. It is thoughtful, but of course strange experience for someone from New Zealand! Original review from 2019: All you can eat buffet with a lot of meat and chicken. Some of the cold sides were a bid strange for me( would have been better hot) , but overall awesome and great price for sure. Dessert also A+++

Are you can eat! Fantastic value for the price, approximately $28,000 pesos per person. Alcohol is a separate charge. Although it's not a 5 star restaurant or quality, the meats is still great Portions of meats are large. Have one person grab one meat and another person grab another meat and share. My pictures don't do it justice because I was too busy eating. I ate a little bit of salad but other than it was all meat. Dessert was included and fantastic.

Loved this place - all you can eat buffet bbq and salads. Not necessarily the best meats but plentiful and tasty. Choose your meat well so as not to get overdone as they may have been on the grill for a bit. Top tip: don’t accept the water initially when offered, go for the wine or beer first which s included in the price. Either bottle of wine, large jug of beer or small bottle of water included in the price. Go for the others and pay cheaper water separately.

Fervor, located in Recoleta, is a renowned restaurant celebrated for its delectable grill and fresh seafood. The interior decor exudes the charm of old Buenos Aires grocery stores with its vintage wooden furniture, antique tiles, and wrought iron details. The focus here is on top-quality ingredients, offering perfectly cooked meat cuts and a selection of exceptionally fresh seafood. This three-floor establishment includes a bar, restaurant area, and private party space to cater to international visitors with excellent steaks and cocktails.
We ate here a couple of times because it was that good! My husband really enjoyed all the dishes he tried. They are heavily a meat entree restaurant with lots of vegetarian sides and pasta dishes. I had the pasta, and it was perfection! The ambiance is very nice and the service was very professional. Great place for an elevated dinner!

I absolutely love this place. My first time here and the experience was amazing. From service to food was spectacular. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really nothing negative to say. Michelin star well earned. My steak was tender and juicy. They bring some sauces on the side but not needed. Had a table wine and was very good. Newly opened. Most definitely a place I would come back

I really like this restaurant. Old school.classic service, always full, superb food, excellent service, great welcome, professional and fabulous. I came here with business colleagues and came here solo both times excellent. Waiters are so polite and professional. The food is excellent from.the salads to the meats to the wine and they do not attempt to drive the most expensive wines just the appropriate wines. It's very good. It's safe and inviting to eat alone here or with friends family or business colleagues. I have marked this as a favourite to return to when in Buenos Aries.

Feevor is an incredible restaurant in Buenos Aires truly one of my favorites in this beautiful city. The food is absolutely outstanding, every dish is full of flavor and perfectly presented. The service is just as amazing, attentive, friendly, and professional. If you’re looking for a place that combines great atmosphere, top-quality food, and excellent service, Feevor is the place to go!

It’s a very good experience eating here, even a glass of “table wine” is a Salentein wine and only Ars 6000 per glass. Steaks are grilled to perfection and a small army of waiters will provide you with all you need.

Love the atmosphere…so warm and inviting and the waitstaff are so attentive! I had the Ribeye and it was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. Highly recommend!!!

Food was so-so, you can feel the freshness of the ingredients but that is it. Nothing special as you would expect. On the bright side - the service is great

Incredibly disappointing experience. Please view my photos and captions. The most unsettling and unappealing part was being served a trio of sauces that were obviously sitting out and used from another table. Everything tasted bland, the fish and steak were both over cooked. The server never came by to ask us how everything was, or if we needed anything. I never got the tomatoes and onions I ordered with my salad, and I needed more water. Disappointing service, mediocre food.

South American restaurant
Argentinian restaurant
Bar
Elena, located in the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, offers an upscale dining experience with classic Argentine flavors. This renowned restaurant is celebrated for its savory Buenos Aires cuisine and is a favorite among locals and travelers alike. The establishment exudes a South American ambiance with antique decor and artisanal furnishings, making it an ideal setting for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a late-night drink.
Four Seasons stays winning. They stay consistent and has yet to fail me. This was recommended by people I spoke to and my brother in law, an Argentinian. We walked in with no reservation. The lady out front' led us in. There are two other options inside. I checked in and was greeted by the nice hostess who let us sit in the waiting area as they prepared our table. The vibes inside gave classic olden times. We were here for it. I loved that I could see the sky when I looked up. I made a classic booboo and mentioned wanting fernet and coke cos that was what everyone was drinking at the futbol game the day before. The guy was like no. He then proceeded to make us a fernet cocktail. As we had so much steak the say before, we opted for the smaller size here. We got the ribeye. Paired with it was their amazing mushroom dish served in a skillet. My god. That was the best thing I ate that day. We also got the pasta. So damn good. The 3 went perfectly together. They do give a starter bite and post dessert bites. Those paired with our cappuccino nicely. The staff here was 10/10 - the FS standard. The other locations I've been fortunate enough to visit had just as equally amazing service. It's why I stay making it a point to visit one wherever I am.

Amazing. Been there twice in my 5 days trip in Buenos Aires and I really recommend. - Found their 2 tempo menu pretty good with a good price. - Service is great. - Meat was pretty good. Meat in Buenos Aires is in general pretty good, but here you have high standards. So your expectations should be headed toward fine dinning, not the regular parrillas.
Rafael P — Google review
The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service outstanding. The waiters were not only professional but also impressively knowledgeable — they took the time to explain each dish in detail, from the appetizers all the way to dessert. I started with shrimp served with falafel, followed by pacu fish, and honestly, I can’t decide which course was better — everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. For dessert, I had a traditional Argentine Balcarce, but with a light and refreshing lemon twist — a wonderful finish to the meal. The only downside had nothing to do with the restaurant itself: one guest at a nearby table was quite rude, interrupting the waitress while she was describing the desserts to me. Of course, you can’t choose your guests, but I have to give extra credit to the experienced waitress who handled the situation gracefully and professionally. Overall, an unforgettable experience — highly recommended!

Great dining experience! The restaurant is in the Four Seasons hotel in Buenos Aires. Lovely decor. Impressively high ceiling. I dined on the first floor but would love to try the second floor next time. The dry aged beef was good but found it to be a bit tough (medium rare). But the side dishes were spectacular. Especially the cauliflower. I would go back just for that! Service was great. Very attentive from the moment I entered the restaurant until my departure. I highly recommend this place!
David L — Google review
I didn’t get to take many photos since I was at a formal event, but the food was amazing. The dry-aged meats are incredibly tender and flavorful. The Burrata and pasta dishes have a unique, delicious taste. The only downside was that the service didn’t quite meet the expectations for a restaurant of this caliber
N A — Google review
The only good thing is the arroz, the rests are average. Steak was disappointing, we ordered wagyu T bone, and it’s not properly cooked. They tried to fix it but still not up to the standard. The service table was nice, but the food doesn’t justify the whole experience.

We ended up having the three main meals at Elena despite my dislike of dining at a hotel. What great decisions we made! ATMOSPHERE: Elena is this Four Seasons' main restaurant located on the lobby level. Decor is a mix of contemporary and French Quarter, with an open-view kitchen and seating on two levels. A dry-aging refrigerator is showcased up front with a wine cellar on the second floor. LUNCH MENU: Apps, salads, charcuterie, pasta, poultry, meats, fish. FOOD: Sautéed Shrimp Four good-sized shrimp were stir fried, sat over a bed of creamy-savory red cabbage and topped with French fried onions. Tasty app but the shrimp could've been charred better to give it a more appetizing texture. Elena's Caesar Salad An overly generous amount of smoked trout took the place of anchovies that have a taste similar to salmon. The dressing was creamy, the portion size small. Bitter Leaves My spouse's dish. Chunky cuts of different veggies were tossed in an orange dressing. I didn't have any as I didn't care for any of the ingredients. Risotto Parmegiano Also my spouse's dish. I tried a spoonful of this heavy selection but I'm not a fan of its texture though he enjoyed it. Very rich and creamy. SERVICE: Our female server was friendly but she didn't check on us. A female manager came around checking on guests. ---------- BREAKFAST BUFFET: Daily breakfast came included with our room. I have never seen a fresh honey comb station until now. Honey and toast is way better than jelly & jam! My mushroom, ham and cheese omelette was fluffy and tasty. Also served on the line were eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereals, fruits and cheeses. Service was very good. Turns out iced tea isn't a standard offering so they had to make it special every day I was there. ---------- DINNER MENU: Apps, salads, meats, duck, pastas, fish, pork, desserts. FOOD: T-Bone for two Oh. My. Gawd. My spouse and I were in heaven savoring every bite of the filet and New York cuts. Dry-aged for 60 days and simply seasoned with just salt, the flavors were amazingly pure. THE best steak I've ever had. Highly recommended! Elena Stuffed Potato Wowed again. The bacon-y flavor soaked deep into the spud covered in cheese. THE best baked potato ever and also highly recommended. Grilled Sweetbreads Can this place get any better? Sure they can. Buttery soft goodness in every bite. Holy geezuz. Grilled Octopus The cut of tentacle was steamed to perfect tenderness with a good amount of chewiness. A streak of fried cassava lined the plate for a little bit of starch. SERVICE: Again, very professional. OVERALL: Exquisite steaks, nice breakfast and lunch options. Affordable for being in a hotel. Great service. Highly recommended!
Maui T — Google review
I had very high expectations. They were not in any way fulfilled. It might be that being the best comes with the responsibility to look outside and question yourself every day. The taste of the meat was ok but definately not what I asked for. It was a lot mor dry and it was really hard work...many parts I was not willing to work that hard on. We didnt finish the meat. Not worth it. Then the coffee. A light roasted robusta from brasil. I know my coffees. It was BAD. So I asked why they dont use premium beans. No, this is the way we like it. Just ad heavy sour milk and lots of sugar.... bad ending to an avarage meal. Service and location was great! I wanted to put this in a mail but couldnt find the email adress. Fact: The Conclusion: Crap, Ignorance, or The Chicken-and-Egg? Poor Bean Choice (The Foundation): Using light roasted Robusta is a risk that rarely pays off. It was likely a conscious but failed attempt to be different. The resulting "sour, tasteless" coffee is a logical consequence. Made-Up Reasoning (The Staff): The explanation about the milk is inconsistent with accepted knowledge in the coffee world. The staff was likely trying to justify bad coffee with a narrative to impress the customer. Italian Influence in Buenos Aires: You are correct; the large Italian community (who enjoy a balanced, full, but not bitter Moka pot coffee) does not explain this sour Robusta trend. Italians appreciate balance, not pure acidity. Final Verdict: They likely used beans that are difficult to prepare (light Robusta), the result was sour and bad, and they provided a made-up, pseudo-scientific explanation to defend their product. This is probably not a reflection of the entire coffee culture in Buenos Aires, but an incident at that one 'prominent' restaurant.

Located in the vibrant Mercado de San Telmo in Buenos Aires, Hierro Parrilla San Telmo offers a unique dining experience amidst the bustling atmosphere of the iconic neighborhood. The restaurant provides a welcoming and warm ambiance where visitors can sit by the bar in front of the grill and enjoy some of the best steaks in the city.
What an unforgettable experience at Hierro Parrilla in San Telmo .. Hierro is tucked inside the historic San Telmo Market, adding an extra layer of charm and history to this dining experience. From the moment I sat on the bar stool, I was welcomed with warm smiles and attentive service. The ambience is exactly what you’d hope for in a classic Buenos Aires parrilla - charming, lively, and full of local character. You really feel like you’re part of something special here. The highlight …I went for the Bife Boutique de Chorizo. Perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavour—easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It’s not just a meal - it’s an awesome memory ‼️

Recommend! Fun casual atmosphere inside the Mercado San Telmo. Sirloin was tasty and the server cut the delicious Tenderloin with a spoon!!! Condiments, especially the chimichurri, were done well. Salad was generous and fries yummy. I enjoyed the Argentinian national drink of Fernet & Coca Cola.

One of the best cuts of Lomo I have ever had. The meat was also cooked perfectly and the servers were very thoughtful. The only thing I didn't like was the "touristy" feel of the place, the way the utensils were cleaned (or lack of) and the reuse of things like chimichurri off of tables. Even with that said, my experience was very positive because of the quality of the food and the cooking quality. I wish they could get a supervisor to get their other stuff in order. I'm not a restaurant inspector, but some health issues stand out.

Well... For sure I wasn't attended by the owner of the business, night of the museum we were with a large group and wanted to order wines for the table but was told the kitchen was closing, fine we only wanted wine. I can putting plastic cups for you (at 10 dollars a glass), because we are closing... Full bar with people drinking wine in proper glasses... I am used to this style of business here. Somethings you cannot blame on Perón.

San Telmo Market is a renowned covered market in Buenos Aires, offering a wide array of antiques and vintage items. While the feria only takes place on Sundays, the market's small shops are open daily, providing an assortment of goods such as old license plates, lamps, magazines, and cassette tapes. The weekends are particularly bustling with all shops open and great deals on vintage clothing including shoes and bags.
A lovely, lively market in the old town. There are still some traditional stalls selling fruit & vegetables and other goods, but the majority are now food outlets. This is a great place to stop by for a snack and/or drink, with plenty of options available. A vibrant, friendly place; welcoming to tourists as well as locals. A ‘must visit’ place.

Very nice market with several options of foods and drinks. The prices are very affordable, so can't complain. There are several options for eating and drinking, capable of satisfying all tastes. We had a four cheese milanesa at Milangueria, which was extremely good while being cheap.

A lovely historic market that is house under cover with a lovely wrought iron construction. The market has a few different entrances but all lead to the central hub where you can pick up antiques (so many antique shops in San Telmo), fresh fruit and veg, spices, meats, souvenirs etc. It is also a great place for Asado, meat cooked over hot coals. The market gets very busy during the day as it is a popular place to eat but then quietens down after the non-eatery stalls close around 6pm. The whole place closes at 8pm. The food is of high quality and reasonable priced.

Parrilla Aires Criollos is a cozy steakhouse located in the heart of Barrio Norte, offering a warm and relaxed atmosphere for guests to enjoy traditional Argentine grilling. The restaurant serves fire-grilled meats, empanadas, and other Creole-inspired dishes from noon to midnight daily. Diners can choose to sit indoors, on the specially arranged sidewalk seating, or opt for take away and delivery options.
My hotel recommended this special restaurant for good Argentinean steak and it was truly a wonderful experience. I ordered a rump steak to share for two, were served two pieces, one complimentary! It was juicy and delicious as expected. I also ordered a raddichio and greens salad but what was served looked like dandelion leaves with balsamic vinegar reduction and olive oil - so good, I ordered a second! The Argentinean red was big and smooth, complimented the meal well. And service was just tops, we were so looked after.

This place was on our walk through the city, and through good reviews,we decided to dine in. The restaurant itself looks nice and cosy, very stylish inside. However, when trying to speak English , only one waiter understood us, Martin. He was such a sweetheart 💕 We ordered a bottle of Malbec, which was quite nice, the Sirloin and Rib eye steaks were very fatty and pretty difficult to consume. There is also a table charge for table cloth, cutlery 3000 pesos per person. The other waiter was super slow, not willing to do anything, and always avoided us. We had to ask for Bill multiple times and waited nearly 30 minutes, and then she asked if we wanted to give her tip. The atmosphere was nice ,and the rest, you probably should make your own experience. In my previous reviews, a few days ago, I've been in place where I would die for the steak they made, and i would take their chef home because of their dessert😃

In fact, I have attached a video of me doing it! The quality and flavor of the steaks at Parrilla Aires Criollos are unparalleled, making each bite a true delight for the senses. The service provided by the staff was commendable. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Worst meal of our visit to Buenos Aires. The waitress brought a dish we hadn't ordered and refused to take it back when we said we hadn't ordered it, charging us for the dish (not a cheap dish either). May have been a misunderstanding/language issue but felt like they were taking advantage of us by making it our fault. Food itself wasn't great and the portions are ridiculously big. The quesadillas could easily have fed 2 or 3.
Pete L — Google review
I used to come to this place pretty regularly, but that's over a decade ago. It's really, unfortunately, gone downhill. While the space and service are fine, the food is mediocre, at best. Stale bread, bland empanadas, overcooked steak that was chewy and dry, same with the french fries, and the rice just tasted bad. Might explain why at the height of lunch hour no more than about half a dozen people came in.
Dan P — Google review
My favorite Argentinian barbecue place here for the good price-quality ratio. Been here already in 2016 and liked it. While you pay double price in other Parrilla places in the center, the place is really cosy decorated and steaks, sausages, beer good. I could eat here every day. 20€ for a good Vacio steak and half a litre of IPA is cheap for the location and half of what we had to pay in somewhat more fancy places in Palermo.
Marion G — Google review
Good place to eat Argentinean food and some northern dishes at affordable prices. Quality can vary depending the day of the week and the entree so is kinda regular. Service is good and the vibe is cool. Expect to pay no more than 10 dollars between appetizer, entree, and beverage.

Original post + pictures December 2022: Shared a tasty gran bife consisting of beef, chips, pumpkin, onion, rice. Great atmosphere, no wifi. Worth a visit. Original rating 4 stars. Update: December 2023: shocking service tonight, the salmon, brie & rucula was served with mozzarella and the ribs of pork were small, dry and without a sauce! The salmon dish was sent back and after i had finished Rita was served spinach with salmon I have never written an update before but honestly after the Manager argued with Rita and accused her in public of not wanting to pay we nearly left. This place was busy, perhaps too busy, and it is NOTHING like what it used to be. AVOID 😱 Today’s rating 1 star.

Southeast Asian restaurant
Restaurant
Niño Gordo is a vibrant and colorful restaurant and bar in Palermo, Buenos Aires, offering a unique fusion of classic Asian dishes with an Argentinian twist. The restaurant stands out for its eclectic interior design featuring glowing red lanterns, a faux aquarium, and rows of bobblehead toys. The menu at Niño Gordo showcases oddball combinations of ingredients such as bonito flakes on desserts and miso flan.
Are here for our first night in BA. Fantastic. A little pricey ($40usd for a beef sandwich), however you quickly forget that once you taste the food! Amazing restaurant.

Had high hopes for this place but it felt short. In general great fusion, flavors were good, got the steak tartar and dumplings. Would have preferred if the steak was fresh seared and assembled then vs pre-assembled, the entire dish was cold and stuck together. The dumplings were really good - however it came with two sauces that ended up merging together rather than the yin-yang setup they may have been doing for. Service and attentiveness was excellent.
Zeeshan S — Google review
amazing food, super funny decor and atmosphere. Melissa was the best, she even spoke “portunhol” to us. shrimp dumplings are so good and the katsu sando is a must. loved it and recommend it.

Great food, very interesting menu, all of the plates are designed to be shared. Every dish that we ordered was excellent! The service was impecable, definitely will come back!!
Roberto F — Google review
Disappointing at all levels. You are assigned a 2 hour slot and you cannot stay longer. To make things worse our slot was cut by the restaurant to 1:45 (no explanation given) Service is extremely rushed. They pressure you constantly to finish your dishes and bring something else. Everything is so rushed that they got our food before the drinks. They recommend ordering dishes to share. Please do not do that. They are not sharing plates. They are normal size starters and mains. If you want to eat and not leave hungry get a starter and a main per person. The prawn dumplings were delicious. The sauce that comes with them is amazing. The noodle dish is outstanding. I would have loved to have a whole noodle dish for myself instead of 3 bites because I had to share the dish with my friends. To make things worse even if you want to order more food they won't let you. The place could be a 5 but the atrocious service/system ruin the experience Prices are almost as expensive as in London not worth it in my opinion.

Niño Gordo is undeniably a very cute restaurant — almost like stepping into an art installation. The design and atmosphere are whimsical and make for a memorable visual experience, perfect for a fun night out or even a quirky date spot. The menu is simple, which makes ordering easy, though it might feel a bit limited for those seeking variety. While the concept is Asian-inspired, the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Some dishes, like the dumplings, were undercooked — the dough still felt raw. The ribeye was the most disappointing; it was so tough it was nearly impossible to chew. Thankfully, the waiter was understanding and removed it from our bill, which I appreciated. Hopefully, these were just off moments, because the ambiance alone is worth a visit — especially if you’re going more for the vibe than the food.

Wonderful food, premium service! Melissa has delivered all her grace and charm to serve us wonderfully!!! We loved the ambiance and atmosphere!!!
Felipe A — Google review
Loved it - Was sat in a terrible seat in the salon which I was very unhappy with however they made some adjustments to resolve for me, for this I’m very grateful. Being in Argentina I was tentative about this restaurant given that the Argentinian tastes are a far cry from Asian cuisine however I thought this restaurant did an amazing job of keeping an Argentinian spirit while fusing with Japanese flavours. I’ve read reviews that claim the portions are too small and that the prices were too expensive and the food was not to their taste. To all these claims I say rubbish, this as a terrific restaurant and you just need to go eat up the road at El Preferido de Palermo to know what overpriced and overrated looks like. Don’t miss the Katsu Sando and the Prawn Dumplings.

La Escondida is a steakhouse in Buenos Aires that is known for its excellent food and kids play area. The steaks are toothsome, and the prices are reasonable.
My husband & I ate here twice while visiting the city. Delicious food & outstanding service. Highly recommend. Amazing empanadas.

Lomo in Malbec souse - it’s discovery, steaks were good as well. Surprisingly cocktails were good as well there!

Our friends took us here to experience Argentinian style BBQ. It was a lot of fun. They let us bring the dog to the outdoor seating area. There were lots of food options to choose from. The fried empanadas were 5/5. It was fun trying all the different cuts and styles of meat. Loved the chorizo. Their style of how they did the veggies wasn't my favorite but other people in my group liked them. All around a great experience.

Went here by chance. Had the bife de chorizo which was cooked perfectly. Very impressed and not super expensive.
Jeremy E — Google review
A huge restaurant specializing in grilled meat that looks fancier, but actually costs a bit less than most other in the area. From the outside it doesn't look like it, but there is probably room for 300+ people inside and in the two terraces, one at the front and another, nicer one at the back. We had the beef tenderloin (lomo) in a Malbec wine sauce (dish of the day) and a grilled chicken breast, both really excellent and flavorful. Portions are generous and although not as large as in an Argentinian Bodegón, one dish is enough for a small meal. We went for lunch and even if there were at max 4 or 5 other tables, the service was abysmally slow and inaccurate (they forgot to bring our drinks, we had to ask for them twice and one never arrived) and the check took forever to come. Maybe they gear up with more staff for dinner, but for lunch it is excessively slow.
Niccolo' B — Google review
Nice local place in Palermo Soho for grilled meats and some other stuff but I think meat is the main attraction here. The bife de lomo was good although overcooked a bit, we asked for rare, and it was more medium, so be careful what you ask for. The chicken and beef brochette was quite good and a nice salad came with the mains. We had a good Malbec for a decent price. The apple crepe with ice cream was good. The waiter was friendly but the staff seems to spend a lot of time chatting, making the service too slow.

Río Alba is a renowned restaurant located at Cervino 4499, Palermo in Argentina. It's known for offering some of the best cuts of beef and an impressive selection of wines. The atmosphere is cozy, and despite the packed crowd, the staff is accommodating and patient, with menus available in English. The restaurant provides an authentic experience with mostly locals dining there. Visitors praise the outstanding service, great parilla, and reasonable prices.
If you're looking for great authentic Argentinian food specially steaks with collection of good wines in Buenos Aires, stop looking right now! 😉 Amazing food, so tender steaks, so fresh hot fries and fresh salad. Service/waiters are friendly welcoming and responsive. Atmosphere is a bit formal / classic though. Location is close to good Palermo area.

The salad could be fresher. Dressing was good though. The ribeye steak was juicy but a little tough by American standard. Charming colonial building. Lunch for 2, $73 + 10% tip.

If you’re a senior with Argentinian accents, this is your place! For the rest of us, specially foreigners… better find something else. The attention was deficient but no as bad as the food. Ordered Asado the tira, the thing was inedible, or maybe someone had already eaten it before putting it back on the grill… nothing but bone and some rubbery meat. Be prepared to waste 50k per person and some precious time

Right behind US embassy and the La Rural stadium. Clean space and decent food worth 4 stars. Price is easily 9000 ps+/person for a lunch - that loses them a star. Watch out: they would serve significantly different variety and amount of food (bread and entry) for the locals vs. tourist -- they lose 2 stars for being dishonest.

Excellent, the grill is outstanding and per my 4 meals in 7 days there I cannot rate it lower than delicious. The meat quality is excellent. Fyi they serve salad too.

Outstanding meat and no tourists just porteños enjoying the outstanding service, great parilla and low value prices of this awesome spot. I got pechuga and the gf got a mini steak which was huge and a steal! The salads are varied but you can create your own by listing what ingredients you like and don’t. The tea and coffee comes with a little chocolate wafer. The bread comes with a cream cheese spread, and at the end of the meal they offer a homemade limoncello. I’ll be back again here for sure.

Parrilla Cero5 is a high quality Argentinean steak house that offers delicious food and excellent service. The prices have gone up, but the quality of the food remains intact. They serve an impressive variety of steak options, as well as other menu items such as chicken and pork. The staff are attentive and skilled at cutting through delicate meat with a spoon!
The best steaks I've ever tried. Go with Chorizo steak or rib eye - you will enjoy the memory for the rest of your life. Very good atmosphere- a truly family restaurant.Service is outstanding - the waiters look very mature and behave like co-owners.Completely recommended - 5+ stars from me.

“Old school” is how I’d describe Parilla Cero5. I love seeing career professional waiters who have been working at the same restaurant for years giving old school hospitality! I never asked the gentleman’s name who served me but he is a true gentleman. The manner in which he delivered items to my table, poured my wine and checked in with me from time to time throughout my meal was true professional class. My two sausages (the matrimonial dish) were cooked well and contrasted each other perfectly. The ‘blood sausage’ was delicious. My two sides of fries with garlic and parsley plus an arugula salad with Parmesan were plentiful and complimented my two sausages. And I thought the price point was just right.

On our last day in Buenos Aires, we decided to do some shopping and did not have lunch plans. Went to Google for steakhouse reviews near me. Parrilla Cero5 was an unassuming steakhouse with a good rating. The food was on par with most Argentina Steakhouses. The standout of lunch was the service. Club Eros is a historic dining hall in Buenos Aires, known as the oldest club in Argentina. It offers a solid and inexpensive dining experience with a great Argentinian atmosphere. The menu has adjusted over time, but it remains a popular spot for locals. The friendly service and welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit for those looking to enjoy traditional Argentinian food. While some dishes may be hit or miss, the simple plates like steak, potatoes, and eggs are highly recommended.
Great, old fashioned, unassuming place that is connected to a small football club. They stay to serve dinner at 8pm. Good value for money, excellent, old school waiter and perfect attention. You can pay with a card. The place completely filled up by 9pm even on an average Tuesday night. I had a mozzarella filled pasta, my friend had a Milanesa Napolitana, however the most popular dish on the menu seemed to be Spanish Tortillas and Bife De Chorizo. The portions were huge and filling. Great atmosphere. Lovely place.
Juliet O — Google review
Ordered the bife de chorizo and it was very good. Keep in mind the white pickled eggplant that they put on it is an acquired taste and very old school, like the place itself. If you cut up the egg and mix it with the eggplant and rice or fries, it's pretty good. But to do over again, I would have skipped the eggplant alltogether. Inexpensive pastas, if meat is not your thing. Super friendly staff, quality meat, unique atmosphere.

Our first few hours in BA. Passed by this dinning hall and decided to stop. The oldest club in Argentina we’re told. The food was great, papas and carne. Locals frequent this place. Low key but busy. So very friendly service, the host was excited to share with us the history and food. We were bordering not having enough money but they offered us to just pay them later, so we came in. There was a 94 year old birthday seated next to the gym. Kids playing in the gym. Ate a great meal and experience and just gave them a 20.

Nestled in the vibrant San Telmo neighborhood, Los Galgos Bar is a beloved establishment that has been delighting locals and visitors alike for years. Under the expert guidance of renowned chef Leandro Lele Cristobal and his talented partner Mercedes Solis, this charming venue serves up a delectable array of porteño dishes infused with Spanish and Italian influences, including mouthwatering pastas and classic milanesas.

Decided to visit Los Galgos Bar as it was on the Notable Bars list. The space is not particularly ornate like others on the list, but just a different style. There is a “bouncer” by the entrance, which is odd but don’t let that dissuade you. Service once inside is quite pleasant and quick. Most food items are standard Argentine fare, but don’t well. Don’t expect fine dining though. We ordered the Merluza a la milanesa con papa natural (hake Milanese with boiled potatoes) and the Buñuelos de acelga con corazón de muzzarela con alioli picante (chard fritters) and both were very tasty, quite healthy if you don’t want a heavy lunch. Of course we ended up being tempted by the Budín de medialunas con manzana caramelizada y crema batida (bread pudding made with croissants instead of bread) but we swapped the whipped cream for dulce de leche instead. This I would absolutely recommend ordering as it was spectacular.

Popped in late one night for a quick drink and ended up staying a couple of hours …there’s just something special about this place. The ambience is superb: warm, relaxed, and full of character. The staff were brilliant - welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. One drink turned into a few and eventually they helped me choose some fantastic red wine. Apparently, Los Galgos dates back to the 1930’s and was lovingly restored to retain its classic porteño charm while serving up a top-notch modern menu.

This was an amazing find. We enjoy walking around without a defined path and seeing what we find. Unfortunately, they don't have draft beer so we got canned beer, but I can see they are proud of their wines. We had a light meal which was tasty. The manager saw that I was curious about the history of the bar so he showed me the upstairs. There's another bar upstairs that opens after 8 p.m. or is available for private parties.

Parrilla SecreTiTo is a hidden gem known for its no-frills, top-quality barbecue at affordable prices. The unassuming tavern is adorned with obligatory Racing soccer team memorabilia and offers a spartan yet charming ambiance. Despite its clandestine nature, the word has spread about the juicy skirt and sirloin steaks that draw in crowds for lunch and dinner every day of the week.
Perfect place to try Argentinian beef. I found even the half portions of any meat or item on the menu to be generous, enough to feed at least two people. This makes the prices here friendly. The vertically sliced potato’s I think it’s called the special fries were perfect when you add salt. The house Malbec was a nice chaser but not necessary. Beef empanada is definetly worth the try.
Mamadou D — Google review
It's a really nice place to have a very heavy lunch. Recommendation: order half portions of everything. The only thing is that they do have some trucks up their sleeves to add extra charges on things and the do take 3000 per person for service and ask for the tips extra. For example we ordered the flan didnt know the milk dulce and cream were gonna be double the proce of the flan. But it was a very tasty flan and the leche dulce and cream were unnecessary.
Mélissa K — Google review
Very good steakhouse, hidden away behind a door marked "cerrado", or "closed". But ring the bell and prepare for huge portions. Huge.
Dan P — Google review
Parrilla Secretito doesn’t announce itself. No neon signs, no Instagram gimmicks. Just a hulking building wrapped in Argentine flag colors, like it’s hiding something worth knowing. A tiny sliding door cracks open, a quiet nod from the guy inside, and suddenly, you’re in. Feels like you just got invited to a secret society—except instead of conspiracies, they’re serving steak. Upstairs, the terraza is old-school Buenos Aires. Jerseys, photos, relics of a city that’s been eating well for generations. It’s got that unpolished, lived-in charm that can’t be faked. You sit at a long, family-style table—because here, meals are meant to be shared, not just eaten. Then the food arrives. And Jesus Christ, the portions. The steak is massive, the kind that lands with a thud and makes you rethink every weak excuse for a cut you’ve had before. Juicy, perfectly charred, unapologetically generous. The provoleta? Melted, golden, slightly crispy at the edges—flawless. Olive oil that actually tastes like olives. Every bite reminding you why Argentina does beef better than anyone. Then, just when you think you’ve made it through, they drop the flan on the table. This flan is not messing around. It could easily serve a family of four, but let’s be real, you’re going to try to finish it yourself. Thick, silky, drenched in just the right amount of dulce de leche. A proper grand finale. And Lucas, our server—sharp, professional, knows his stuff. He keeps things moving without rushing you, the kind of guy who makes a great place even better. Highly recommended? That’s an understatement. If you want a steakhouse that actually feels like Buenos Aires—no tourist traps, no pretense, just ridiculously good food at a price that doesn’t feel like robbery—then this is it. You’ll walk in a stranger, and leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

This was probably the best parrilla during my week in Argentina. Very local. It looks a little hidden with the closed sign, but you just need to ring the door bell on the side. It is advisable to make a reservation. We arrived at 1930 and it looked like all the tables were assigned. The meat was so tender and soft. There are other items other than meat dishes. Cocktail bar
Floreria Atlántico is a unique cocktail joint and gastrobar concealed behind a hidden door within a florist shop. Renato 'Tato' Giovannoni, the renowned bartender and creator, drew inspiration from both the sea and the land to curate a diverse menu that reflects Argentina's indigenous and immigrant cultures. The bar's intimate design, long bar, and open kitchen foster engaging conversations between patrons and bartenders.
We did not order any food, but the drinks were really good: creative, delicate, authentic. I recommend the one with cachaca. We ordered a dessert and it was kind of small however it was good. The place is pretty, I liked the low lighting and the atmosphere.

Rating: 4.8/5 [dine in] This speakeasy is tucked inside a flower shop and has made the World's Top 50 Bars list for 11 years, so we had to check it out! We came on a Friday around 6:30 PM and were seated right away. The vibe was calm enough to hold a conversation, though we were told that around 9:30 PM a DJ comes on and the energy shifts. After walking through the flower shop, a host led us through a hidden door and down a flight of stairs into the bar. The menu is extensive, so it took us a few minutes to decide, but our cocktails arrived quickly. Presentation is simple with no flashy garnishes, yet the drinks were crystal clear and incredibly balanced. They were so good we finished them fast. Highly recommend the Yvy Maraey (14,800 ARS)!
Angelica L — Google review
A small flower shop crammed with blooms of every kind is your gateway to Florería Atlántico. Down the narrow stairs lies a softly lit space that hums with conversation, clinking glasses, and the quiet energy of discovery. The layout is long and slightly curved, with the bar and stools running along one side and tables lining the other. At the far end, a large mirror creates the illusion of endless depth. The low lighting and gentle ’70s soul music complete the speakeasy atmosphere — intimate, nostalgic, and perfectly in tune with the bar’s effortless style. I ordered the Pehuén, a smooth, layered blend of Hennessy VS Cognac, Hendrick’s Gin, Pehuén orgeat, and Falernum of Merken. Its tropical, nutty, and fresh profile struck a perfect balance between warmth and brightness. I also tried the king crab empanadas — delicate, buttery, and filled with sweet, briny crab! It’s the kind of bar that doesn’t just serve cocktails; it tells stories through them. Each drink reflects Argentina’s immigrant heritage — Italian, Spanish, English, and beyond — blending cultures just as the city does. Every sip feels intentional, crafted for both memory and curiosity. The bartenders move with quiet confidence, happy to share the origin of a spirit or the reason behind a garnish. The crowd is lively — and even when loud, it’s always with a celebratory energy. It’s easy to understand why Florería Atlántico remains among the World’s 50 Best Bars. Making reservations is highly recommended. But you maybe able to catch a spot at the bar, especially if you’re just looking to have a drink or two.
John A — Google review
Florería Atlántico truly lives up to its reputation as one of the World’s 50 Best Bars. Hidden beneath a flower shop, it offers an atmosphere that feels both secret and alive. Reservations are essential — it fills up fast, and with good reason. The food menu is small, but every dish is well thought out and beautifully executed. Still, the real magic here is in the cocktails. Each drink tells a story, crafted with precision and creativity that’s rare even at this level. It’s not just a bar — it’s an experience. A must-visit for anyone who loves mixology done with soul.
Hector V — Google review
Stepping into the shop front on the street level, full of flowers. The smell was amazing. The server takes you downstairs to the intimate yet lively bar. Cocktails were amazing. As were the bar snacks. Please visit Floreia Atlantico whenever you are in BA.

Fun place to visit with its secret entrance through the fridge door. Of the drinks we ordered, one was amazing and two were a bit disappointing. But what really made our experience was the staff (especially Lisandro)—so friendly and amazing mixologists. We each got two cocktails, but Lisandro let us taste several different liquors. We had so much fun—highly recommend.

600G ribeye is offered less than 350 grams and came with a big chunk of bone. Cost around 40 USD. Probably i missed understood that 600G as 600 grams...? basement smells terrible.. very bad experience

This high class parrilla on the trendy Puerto Madero strip serves up huge portions of juicy steaks that are cooked to perfection. Combined with bountiful mountains of melt in your mouth French fries, this steakhouse is a meat lovers dream. Open Tues-Sat 6pm-11pm, Sun 12:30pm-3:30pm, it's well worth a visit for any meat lover looking for some excellent Argentinian cuisine.
I highly recommend this place as it was recommended by my guide in Buenos Aires. The food, service, and environment was fantastic!! Everything tasted fresh and delicious from the steaks, salads, sides, etc!

For our third visit to Buenos Aires, we once again found ourselves drawn to this exceptional establishment. The culinary offerings continue to be outstanding, complemented by impeccable service. The ambiance immerses us in the vibrant heart of the city, where we are surrounded by locals savoring the delectable cuisine. We celebrated my birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it truly memorable. While they undoubtedly provide excellent service to all guests, their genuine efforts to make me feel special were truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone visiting Buenos Aires experience this place and try the "ojo de bife" (ribeye steak) cooked to medium. This exquisite dish melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with their impressive selection of wines. The Malbecs here are exceptional, with the Alamos Malbec Reserva surpassing all expectations. The best part of our experience was feeling like we were in a fantastic local gathering spot. As some of the few foreigners present, we always felt comfortable and welcome, as if we were in our own home surrounded by friends. This establishment truly captures the essence of Buenos Aires' culinary scene and warm hospitality. Thank you everyone for making us feel like home far away from home. Special thanks to Gabriela and Ariel for taking care of us and make us feel like home far away from home

We didn’t find many dishes in their menu that we eat/liked. My husband liked his spaghetti bolognese. My breaded chicken was tender but I had bites when the texture seemed to be that of pork. Their bread dip is unique.

Food was not great. Stake was overcooked even when I asked for medium rare. I sent it back , they brought another one not as nice of a cut more on the rare side, it was okay. Chicken dish was terrible, seemed like reheated dry 5 day old chicken didn't eat any of it. Paying the bill was an awkward uncomfortable experience with the guy giving himself a tip , while standing over me. I had to delete his input and add my own.

We got ripped off. We ordered a meat feast for 2; plenty of food but most was inedible because of bones, fat, and overcooked meat. The bread was so stale, I had to send it back. The waiter was kind enough to bring us a hot and fresher replacement. The most astounding charge of 5,000 pesos was “plate setting fee”. I asked the waiter and he could barely explain it. Of course, it’s not easy to articulate a dubious practice that’s so absurd. Surprising charges are meant for single-visit customers. That was our first meal in BA after 30 hours traveling to visit Argentina. It was not a very good first impression. AVOID!!!

Good place to dine The VACIO is the best option. Not the steak (bife de chorizo) Good vegetables, smashed potatoes. The steak was small... thats why is not a 5 star experience

Great service, very well attended. The place is pleasant as well The meat was very well cooked. But the asado didn't have a lot of taste. Well it was not so expensive for BA so ok for what you get. A pity that in the parillada plate there wasn't the nice parillada juice. It was more watery also just slightly heated up so the meat went cold fast. Ok meal but not super tasty and also would be nicer to serve on parillada plate with charcoal for example and keeping the cooking juice. Although the service was good, we thought it was uncomfortable that the service asked debit or cash for tip and didn't ask how much we wanted and put 10% in the terminal to the final addition. In the end we managed to put the amount we wanted.

Good place with a nice food, food is really marvellous. But the prices are higher than anywhere I’ve been to, especially the beer and the grilled vegetables. Plus, when they bring you the bill, they add +10% tip with a pen. Guys, I can count myself, plus I obviously can count better cause you wrote 10% and added 12%. But I didn’t put 4 because of this… There was no (or surely wasn’t enough) air conditioner. This was really disappointing

Bar
Bar Chin Chin is a popular spot located at the corner of Bolivar and Estados Unidos in San Telmo. It's well-regarded by both locals and travelers, offering hip-hop music, reasonably priced drinks, and a lively atmosphere. The bar serves tasty cocktails and food at affordable prices, making it a favorite among visitors. However, some caution is advised as there have been reports of slow service and incidents of theft near the premises.
Really awesome place for drinking during happy hour (til 20:30). They have multiple options for eating too. Really worth the price and the time.

Phenomenal food. Phenomenal drinks. Great service and hard working bartenders. They churn out the common drinks (IPA and fernet) but also make a beautiful cocktail. The ojo de bife was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were seasoned well.
Emma K — Google review
Its a really cute place - nice music, the cocktails were tasty and really cheap and you can sit inside or just stend outside. The service was great even though being crowded and the food was really good - I added photos of what we got. Overall - Highly recommend
Guy B — Google review
Great beers on tap. I had a chicken meal that wasn’t great… the chicken was really tough. Burgers look good though. Definitely come here for the beer… their stouts were excellent.
Richard D — Google review
Awesome music, authentic ambience and welcoming service. Drink a Ferroviário and enjoy the indie rock atmosphere that Chin has to offer. Great burgers and heartwarming experience.
