Taco restaurant
Mexican restaurant
Taquería Díaz is a taco restaurant that offers delicious tacos and burritos. The restaurant is located in a popular area, and it has a great atmosphere. It's perfect for when you want to eat something delicious but don't have much time.
Taquería Diaz is a great spot for a casual Mexican meal! The atmosphere is lively and fun, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food in a casual setting, I definitely recommend Taquería Diaz to anyone looking for a tasty meal in Villa Urquiza. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!
Rachel G — Google review
The best Mexican food we’ve had in Buenos Aires. The server graciously explained the various items and offered suggestions. The owner came by and checked in on us. Very attentive. Worth the trip from wherever you may be in BA.
Brian B — Google review
Great burrito de pollo tinga! Good portion and flavors are on point. The in house salsitas were delicious. Try the haberno, it's fire!
Vincent H — Google review
Ordered some nachos with guacamole as a starter and the chips were really good, homemade. The guacamole was a bit guacameh... Then we ordered burritos and a tamarind water as well as Jamaica water. The burritos came before beverages did and they were...just ok. They were supposed to have pineapple in them but they didn't, and the taste altogether was underwhelming. The beverages came when we were almost done, to the point where we had earlier switched our order to beers instead (by suggestion of the waitress) and yet they charged us for the other beverages too. Absurd. Granted, it was a Día de los muertos celebration, hence they were packed, but they should have hired more staff to cope with the great attendance. Other than that, it was a nice setting they had, mariachi and all, and later with really great music.
Cecilia V — Google review
Best tacos in Buenos Aires by far. I’m a Mexican living in BSAS and this is the taste and hospitality that brings me home ❤️ suadero tacos and horchata beverage are a must. Francisco and his wife are the best hosts.
Melissa A — Google review
best horchata i've ever had!
Mitul S — Google review
Just ordered this tonight for dinner and we were satisfied. Flavors are good but not overwhelming. It came with a lot of dips and nachos. The food tasted less commercial. Now, the part that I was surprised about was the quantity of the guacamole! They sent us 2 big containers and a small pote. I am wondering if it was sent by mistake because I know that avocado is very very expensive! Who does not like a large size dip right? But it was a lot, it would help downsize the business's spending if they would cut down a little on guacamole. But thank you! We will definitely order again.
Joaquin T — Google review
Though the menu is a bit short, they excel at delivering delicious dishes. The food always feels fresh, handmade with passion. One of my favorite to go when I want cool food. 5/5

Mexican restaurant
Nestled in the lively Palermo Soho, La Fábrica del Taco is a vibrant Mexican restaurant that has become a staple since its inception in 2009. Just steps from Plaza Serrano, this eatery dazzles with its neon lights and offers an authentic taste of Mexico. Founded by Federico Lobeira, who has a deep passion for tacos, it’s recognized as Buenos Aires' first taqueria and has successfully expanded its brand across Argentina and beyond.
The burritos and the tacos are very good, better than so many other Mexican restaurants in BA, but the nachos are just outstanding! The best we had in Argentina, they definitely looked and tasted home-made and they came with a boatload of delicious guacamole! Prices are very fair and there are also promos for combos at a discount. The place is very colorful and has a happy vibe, mirrored by service which is friendly, upbeat and fast. There is seating both inside and outside. The only negative is that they suggest (in writing when they bring you the check) to leave a 15% tip, which is higher than the "accepted standard" of 10% which most other restaurant solicit. But, on the other hand, we had better service here than in most other places, so it deserves a higher tip.
Niccolo' B — Google review
Trash food, meat is lowest quality available. No ketchup… why even sell fries then? $50 USD for 2 of us and we left only drinking the corona and a little If the premade guacamole (2/10)
Mark D — Google review
Nice mexican restaurant with lots of food and drink options. The burrito and fries were fine, nothing special
Tina — Google review
Food is average. Careful if you are a foreigner - they will try to overcharge you. I can’t recommend any place that does that
Adam D — Google review
A nice and cozy place to eat tacos, burritos or quesadillas. Very beautiful and colorful interior. They also serve fast enough.

Great tacos and burritos. Like that they are open all afternoon. Roomy and colorful inside. Outdoor seating.

Great Mexican food for my taste could be spicier great friendly service big portions ! Excellent drinks

I'm sorry to say that these were just okay. Not overly flavourful, and the corn taco shells fall apart in your hands. I had to eat my tacos with a fork in knife which is no fun for anybody.

Taco restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Chacarita, Georgie's is a culinary gem that redefines the taco experience. With a creative flair brought by New Zealander Samuel Fitzgerald, this eatery specializes in gluten-free options while staying true to traditional Mexican techniques. Their homemade corn tortillas are crafted from nixtamalized white corn and served fresh daily, making each bite a delight.
I visited on a busy Friday night, but was surprised with the speed of the service. The waitress was very friendly as well. I ordered the tacos de tapas de asado and it was so delicious, simple and to the point. You get a 10% discount for paying in cash and i think its fairly priced. I would come back and would recommend it if you are around.
Mahmoud K — Google review
Gluten free tacos, large portions freshly made. The service was very quick. It would be nice to have some more sauces and stronger spicier flavours too!
Dani D — Google review
Everything falls into place here. The beyond amazing Tacos, the vibe and atmosphere of the place, the super nice people, and the music. I would come back to Buenos Aires only to sit in there and eat the pork Tacos!
Simon S — Google review
My boyfriend and I from Canada was visiting Buenos Aires in Dec 2024 and randomly stumbled onto Georgie's. We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the tacos were. There was good vegetarian, vegan and meat options. The host & waitress were super friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. It was a wonderful way to enjoy a nice spring evening. We highly recommend this place & can't wait to go back again in our next visit to Argentina.
Cindy Y — Google review
fantastic food and service. I got the gordita which was hard to eat but full of flavor and tasted good. I also got the pork tacos with peaches and let me tell you, these bad boys were fantastic. they have house salsas which are tasty as well. I enjoyed a nice IPA and had a cheesecake which was muy rico. 10/10 would recommend. best tacos in BA
Carmen R — Google review
Visited today as a tourist. Brilliant food, packed with flavour. We had all 3 veggie options (new blue cheese gordita, love that they are experimenting!) and would chose them all again, tacos were best. Fair prices. Lovely to sit in and out. Attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Alice H — Google review
This place is amazing! I loved everything from the delicious food to the friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere. The tacos with kimchi in them won my heart over 💘💘 The gordita “Trevor”, my bf’s favorite, was really good too. Perfect place to satisfy your non traditional taco cravings!
Carolina P — Google review
Great food. Enough vegan options to pick from. Definitely well spiced and flavorful. Tacos came a little cold. Servings are a little small so maybe sharing three plates in between two is a good option.

Mexican restaurant
Located in the heart of the historic San Telmo neighborhood, Che Taco Comida Mexicana is a vibrant and colorful restaurant that offers traditional Mexican cuisine prepared by Mexican chefs. The menu boasts a wide variety of options such as machaca (shredded beef sautéed with eggs, cheese, and vegetables) and pastor tacos (marinated pork).
Very nice service, great atmosphere and above all delicious food - burrito con carne is a masterpiece! I recommend it to everyone 😋

Friendly service and food tastes great and authentic!
Jet W — Google review
We found the listing on Trip Advisor and decided to go to Che Taco for a Mexican lunch. It was a small cozy place, sort of done out of home, with quirky decor all over. The wall arts, buntings, mexican props, the hot sauce on tables - gave the perfect mexican vibes. It had enough vegetarian options. We ordered for: - Complete Nachos: this was a stack of nachos topped with beans, guacamole and sour cream. It was so good. I only missed cheddar on the top. - Vegetarian Tacos: the bean filling tasted perfect with the chini churi. Chimi churi was really tasty. - Vegetarian Burrito: This was my personal favourite. Apt amount of flavourful rice wrapped in tortilla, topped with some salsa. This was oh so good! - Vegetarian Enchiladas: This was completely filled with cheese and tasted really good with the green hot sauce. - Margaritas: both the sweet and the spicy were really well made. The server was extremely sweet. Language was again a problem but Google translator came to the rescue. We absolutely had a great time here. We were so happy to have some really good mexican food. I would definitely recommend this place.
Vasudha G — Google review
I really wanted to like this place, the reviews were good and it was busy when we went in, the horchata was great also, but then it took maybe 40 mins to get a burrito, they gave us some chips because the wait was so long, but the meat was so tough, it was crispy and crunchy, there was some coleslaw but no avocado, rice or beans, I barely ate any of it, really disappointed
Holly F — Google review
Love it! This place is authentic, cozy, everyone is super nice and the food is legit. We had excellent chicken tacos, 3 to an order and the meat was really moist and seasoned perfectly. And there is a ton of meat on them as well. We also had chips and salsa and the chips were homemade and really tasty and the pico de gallo and salsas were really good. I highly recommend Che Taco after a stroll in San Telmo, or anytime!

Loved the quesabirria and the nachos! Definitely recommend.

Taco Box, located in the vibrant Palermo neighborhood, is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. This charming eatery offers an array of delicious options such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and flautitas. The inviting atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a relaxed Friday night out with friends or family. Diners rave about the pulled pork tacos that boast a delightful barbecue twist.
Great Mexican night. Drinks were really good!

Advised that only cash accepted. Silly idea as we would have bought more if card could have been used. Food average & beer not full! Wouldn't go back.

Arrived a little before 8:00 P.M. or 20:00. Nice table and benches on sidewalk. Hostess came out, spoke very little English. Was quite clear with "Cash Only". It's a nice place, lay out of floor space nicely done. Two (2) menus (strips of paper) of alcoholic beverages. One (1) of food items. Items sold are 2 or 6 Tacos, burritos (2) and quesadillas (2). No mixed platters. No English menu. No Wi-Fi available for Google translate. Placed order for (6) six 3 beef & 3 chicken. They provide a small bowl of nachos about 10 with a very good salsa dip. It was mild with no heat with a sweet flavor. The tacos arrived and was very pleasant to the eye. They use a melted nacho type cheese. I ordered the hard shell and was very surprised it did not break. All six (6) held together. They were pleasantly good. Beware bottle of water (no gas) 95 pesos. My ticket was 515,00 pesos, I paid with a 1,000 peso note, a ten peso note and five peso note. Change due me 500 pesos. They only gave me 485 pesos. So I kept the 50 peso tip I had left. I would have given it a 4 star if my money would have been correct.
G L — Google review
What language do you prefer to make you understand that the place is an absolut disaster...... Even the name "Tex Mex" is presumptuous, it has nothing mexican. If you are not even able to prepare a decent guacamole, I don't understand how you can be functioning as a so called mexican restaurant!!!!!! Not a single mexican person attending in your kitchen.....least a chef!!!!!!! First and last time for me for sure!!!!! Hope many people read this review in order not to get fooled by you. Mexican cuisine is one of the richest, tastiest and difficult in the world but nothing you serve there is as such!!!!

ULÚA is a charming little gem nestled in the vibrant Chacarita neighborhood of Buenos Aires, where three passionate Mexican friends have set out to share the authentic flavors of their homeland. Since its opening in July 2019, this cozy spot has quickly captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike by steering clear of typical burritos and nachos. Instead, ULÚA showcases traditional dishes that reflect true Mexican home cooking.

We love this place! We have been a few times, and they regularly change their menu. But it reminds me of Mexico! So authentic and excellent quality meals. We like to order around 5 between both of us and share every plate.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, with a somewhat limited selection of spicy food and beverages which compensates with the amazing quality and dedication of the staff. Great for some casual margaritas and tapa-sized servings.

La Fábrica Del Taco San Telmo is a hidden gem for those craving authentic Mexican cuisine in Buenos Aires. Nestled in the vibrant San Telmo neighborhood, this cozy spot offers an array of delicious dishes that will transport your taste buds straight to Mexico. The menu features mouthwatering options like quesadillas loaded with top-quality cheese and flavorful burritos, including the standout taco al pastor, which many claim rivals those found back home.
I had no expectations for La Fábrica del Taco. Granted, it's not their fault that most mexican restaurants in Argentina are too argentinized (is that even a word?) or that Argentinian cuisine is too scared of spicy things. Anyway, besides my own prejudices, I found this place's food to be amazing! I ordered the quesadilla, which had a lot of (excellent grade) cheese, a chicken burrito and burrito al pastor. All of it was extremely good, the ingredients were super fresh and well prepared. The service was AMAZING, they let us try the margarita, the agua de Jamaica and the spicy sauce (with a little chip) only so we'd order something we liked. I had the Margarita and it was AWESOME, cheap but tasty. We had a margarita, a Corona beer (with lime, of course), al pastor burrito, chicken burrito, and three quesadillas. All of that for only USD $17 (right now ARS $770). The atmosphere was great, decorations were on point and enough. The place was tidy and full of people, but still very accommodating and super casual. Definitely a must-visit!
Georgi B — Google review
its a very small place with little seating option. the service is fast and the prices are low. as for the food - well its not the best. i couldn’t eat the beef but im a picky eater. the nachos had a cheddar sauce instead of any actual cheese but they tasted alright and the chicken burrito was fine.

Fantastic chips and quac! I Good sized burritos. Everyone in my group enjoyed the food. I personally didn't like the al pastor meat but everything else was good.
Melody A — Google review
Tacos that will do in a pinch. Unfortunately these have nothing on Mexico city tacos and I don't think you'd be satisfied with these as a replacement. It if you just gotta have tacos, they're not bad. I had the pastor and the bistec.
Adriel R — Google review
Delicious tacos and cute shop. I liked all the colors and decor. Had the carnitas and a friend had the porta bella mushrooms. Both were juicy and very savory. We had fresh guacamole with what seemed like homemade chips. I don’t usually like chips but these weren’t overly oily or thin. They tasted fresh.
Esther P — Google review
Unfortunately a bad experience. The 2 starts go to the waitress as she was nice, but the tacos were the worst ones I ever had and believe me when I say I have had plenty of them, in Mexico, Argentina and other parts of the world. It seems they have a recipe to try to fit the local taste but also trying to cheapen the costs, so their version of “”tacos”” has an industrial wrap, only meat and for my order they forgot the cilantro. I could have asked to add it afterwards but my order was already cold. Overall, kitchen disaster and praying this food does not make me sick as now I just don’t trust the food I had. Improve your game folks, you have a wonderful strategic position in San Telmo!
Jessica M — Google review
As a Mexican I can say this place has the best "taco al pastor" outside Mexico. Been trying different places whenever I travel and this is as close it gets. Micheladas are good too.

How can describe my disappointment and stay respectful this one will it be easy trust me. We arrived around 2pm went inside to grab menu because after being sit on the patio no one came to us … We order drinks had it pretty quickly and this moment it started to go downhill our waitress was no where to be found after so we decided to order to another waitress… We order “most popular order” 2 burrito Mala and 3 tacos for a total of 3 meals. After 45 minutes exactly under the sun no one came back to us for new drinks or status of her order we saw group being serve coming in and out but no one came to us. Some table had 2 serve … take out diner being deliver it not us. I stopped one waitress and told her our order never been process she said : it’s coming… after another 10 minutes I stopped another waitress and she said the same thing. In reality they never process the order. It’s took exactly 1 hours 15 minutes to receive our food … no apologies… no complimentary drinks appetizers nothing. What was very frustrating at the end is because the 2 waitress blame the “kitchen” been in the restaurant industry since 15 years Im 100% convince that kitchen had nothing do to with it … other order was being deliver .. no waiting lines for take out order…. We were expecting so much better from this place it’s so disappointing…

Seven years ago, she still ate and gave food like if she was still living in Michoacan or Tabasco, the two states where she lived before moving to Buenos Aires. "I have a nopal in my heart", she says.
The best Mexican cuisine in Buenos Aires. Thursday and Friday is taco night, while Saturday is a monthly tasting menu. We went for the Mexican independence dinner and Maria gave us an interesting history lesson before each course. The plates were all delicious and reminded me of my time living in Mexico. Very good price

The best meal I've had in 6 months in Buenos Aires. Mexican food is hard to find here, GOOD Mexican food, impossible. Until now. Authentic meats and sauces, fresh tortillas - and outstanding service. Well worth a trip!

I am from Texas which has an abundance of great Mexican restaurants. I have missed good Mexican food since moving to Buenos Aires. I am so happy to have found Maria Barrera. The food and drinks are perfect. The Margaritas are strong, like a good margarita should be. The tacos are as good as any I’ve had in Texas (or Mexico City which I lived in for a bit). I will certainly be back.

(Translated by Google) The food is so delicious at María's. Her food is so flavorful, so homemade, that every bite is a pleasure. One of my favorites is the tasting plate, which lets you try several things on one plate. And the drowned tacos dorados are another favorite. A place we always return to ✨ (Original) Se come tan tan rico dónde María. Su comida es tan gustosa, tan casera que es un placer cada bocado. Asian fusion restaurant
Restaurant
Na Num is a unique Korean-Argentine restaurant in Chacarita, Buenos Aires, known for its inventive fusion cuisine. Chef Lis Ra combines Korean ingredients with non-traditional cooking methods to create dishes like smoked oyster mushrooms with roasted kimchi and glazed ribs with gochujang. Despite being labeled as a Korean restaurant on Google Maps, Na Num offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that goes beyond traditional Korean food.
Great food with a lot of attention to presentation. Definitely for sharing, as the portions are relatively large. While it's not reminiscent of Korean food, it stands on its own as something unique. The batata tortilla was skilfully made. The arroz con leche was more refreshing than sweet or flavorful. The staff was attentive. Although the kitchen was slow, the place was welcoming and I didn't mind the wait.

We’ve been living in BA for a month and this food was some of the best we’ve had. So good in fact that I ordered extra to takeaway for lunch for the next day. Unbeatable flavor and creative dishes that were better than many Korean spots we frequent in NYC. And finally good rice in BA which is not easy to come by 🙌🏻. Our wine was also delicious and the owner was incredibly warm and welcoming with great recommendations (and great English!)
Frances W — Google review
If you come to Na Num for traditional Korean food, you'd be better elsewhere, but if you come with an open mind and are willing for a blend of Argentinia ingredients and flavor of Korea, this is the place. Na Num is a Korean fusion cuisine, as such, their profile is a mixture of adjusted Korean flavor and Argentinian taste, and a beautiful combination at that. For reference, I was born and raised in Asia and have had plenty of Korean food, and my dining partner is a born and raised Argentinian with limited exposure to Asian spice and cuisine, but we both had a good experience and were impressed by different dishes. The potion of each plate are small, but they are fun and perfect for ordering several and trying with your friends. The banchan degustation were probably the most Korean flavor you could try, with different type of pickle veggies and kimchi. Nothing much to talk about, they are as standard as it goes for kimchi. But they could be a bit heavy for Argentinian who are not used to the intense sourness and the spiciness. The loin tartare was light and delicious. The combination of beef and melon were light and gentle, refreshing and suitable for an entry into Korean food. I enjoy the this, and it's not heavy as you expect beef tartare supposed to be. We love, love, love the Mussle Ceviche and it's definitely one of the best mussle dish I've had. The mussle were fresh, the Korean bean sauce and blueberries just blend so well, to give the dish and intense taste full of umami, with a spiciness kick at the end. Absolutely delicious and I just want to lick the plate clean. This is what i would consider the peak of fusion, where you could combine ingredients of two countries and their palette for the most creative and delicious dish. The ribs were the main course. It's a decent portion for one person. They are not your typical barbeque rib, it's marinate with Korean bean paste and sesame. It's sweet, slightly sour, and give out a burst of umani. The meat is marinated well and grill to perfection, and just slide right off the bone for you. It's definitely a signature and a star by itself, especially if you're bored of the traditional sweet Korean bqq or the meat dense asado with little seasoning. It fits perfectly well in niche between both for people that looking for something more creative and yummy. We went at 8:30pm and the restaurant was not packed. We were seated right away and service was prompt. The sous chef after hearing i had questions, came to our table to have a chat with us and passionately talked about each dishes. He told us that this restaurant is an experimental vision of the head chef, that she wanted to mix the two cuisine and she didn't adhere to strict traditions, but rather just something fun that carries the flavor of both worlds, and for i said that she certainly succeeded. I'd definitely be back again to try the rest of her vision.

It’s only loosely Korean-inspired but it undeniably tastes good. Four dishes was just right for two of us, and we enjoyed all of them — my favourites were the pork rib with its fabulously thick umami glaze, and, surprisingly, the tortilla de papas, which came topped with a refreshing salad and was much lighter than expected. Service was fast too. Overall, worth a visit!

Na num puts the um in yum. As tres amigos, we shared a few small plates and preferred them in this order: the mussel ceviche was really special, with a perfectly balanced sauce. Next up was the ribs, not the world's best, but very good with a unami sauce. The cauliflower was good but needed a touch of spice, and the ban chan was just ok! Our server was prompt and knowledgeable, and the space was chill with a very tempting, sit solo at the bar, to return to.

One of my favorites restaurants in BA so far! We were not able to get a reservation but showed up 10 minutes before they opened and were able to grab a table for 6 outside. Service was good and plates are delicious. Not your traditional Korean, but the fusion with Argentinian cuisine is just great. The Galbi was cooked to perfection. Tteokbokki was also delicious! Will definitely be back!
Miguel M — Google review
I’m a native Argentinian that lives abroad. Came back to visit BA after 3 years, and Today at Nanum I’ve tried one if not THE best food I’ve ever had in the city. Chef Lis created a mind blowing experience with delicious flavors and such an incredible, chill environment. I absolutely loved every single dish I’ve tried. Favorites were the Banchan sample, Humita, asparagus and the Tortilla. Every single dish is executed beautifully! Don’t forget to order a bottle of Soju! It’s a must :)
Romina — Google review
One of the best meals we had in Buenos Aires. If you need a change from the grilled beef, and are craving some spice and flavors that pack a real punch, this is the perfect place. The gojuchang ribs were the highlight, but the mussel ceviche, the spicy rice cakes, and the pickled cauliflower were all excellent too, and they have a great wine selection. Lis, the owner, will steer you in the right direction for everything, and is such a wonderful and warm host. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. Outstanding.

Juan Pedro Caballero is a delightful culinary gem that brings together the vibrant flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine and the sweet allure of Spanish desserts. This unique eatery specializes in mouthwatering tacos, including their standout del mar taco filled with crispy fried fish, chipotle mayo, radish, and cabbage. They also serve tantalizing shrimp tacos paired with cocktail sauce and pico de gallo.
This place has AMAZING churros. We came once in September and I had been thinking about them since, and had to come back for a second visit in November. The churros are freshly made, so crispy and with the perfect amount of sugar. The dulce de leche sauce we got with it is divine. We paid 5400 ARS for 4 churros and sauce. Haven’t tried the tacos but I’m sure they’re good There is limited seating inside on a bench, but seating outside

Incredible authentic Mexican food like you’ll find in Mexico! Visited twice day after day since it was so great Pros: - Service is good + they give you different salsa exactly like in Mexico as well - Everything is super delicious Cons: - Prices are on the higher end - They never have any churros left after 4pm, and that often they run out of some plate from the menu, so if you come late evening your options are limited.
Sapir M — Google review
Chill place for authentic tacos, with possibly the spiciest salsa in town? They offer three different types and I’m happy to share that spiciest option actually packs a punch. Only sad thing here is that you have to order three of the same types of tacos, would be even better if you could mix and match. ✌🏻❤️🌮 Update: came for the tacos, stayed for the nachos, and realllly appreciate the salsa situation as dips are my love language.

This counter service taco shop is a truly hole in the wall. There's no indoor seating so consider that if it's raining or scorching hot. The tacos are good but not amazing if you've been to Mexico or the southern USA. The owner is Mexican and it shows in the flavors. Try the beef (res) tacos with black beans for my favorite. You can't order individual tacos. You have to order three of the same kind of taco and can't create a custom order.

Crizia Restaurante is a high-end dining establishment located in Palermo, Buenos Aires, known for its chic atmosphere and global cuisine. Since 2004, it has been celebrated for its specialization in oysters, fish, and seafood. Chef Gabriel Oggero's focus on the diversity and quality of Argentine products shines through in the menu, featuring everything from different varieties of Jujuy potatoes to various kinds of seafood sourced from the Patagonian coast.
Wow! What an amazing restaurant. The best restaurant I’ve been in Argentina and one of the best in my life. Food was spectacular, service was one of a kind. They even gave us a few extra things we never ordered. We ordered the oysters, steak tartar, mushrooms, seafood rice, and ribeye to share for 3 people. Every dish was amazing.
Miguel E — Google review
Our visit to Crizia revealed a beautiful space with truly impressive architecture and exquisite food presentation. The staff were pleasant and attentive However, the experience was mixed. While a few dishes were excellent, our entrees, unfortunately, didn't quite meet the high expectations set by the restaurant's reputation. They were good but lacked a truly exceptional finish. The wine service was somewhat disappointing. Seeking guidance, the staff seemed less experienced. They recommended a $200 bottle which, unfortunately, showed noticeable off-flavors (likely Brettanomyces). Combined with $35 cocktails, the value proposition felt strained. Crizia excels in ambiance and visual details, but the inconsistency in the main courses and the wine selection misstep made for a less outstanding evening than we'd hoped.
Vanessa D — Google review
We randomly stumbled upon Crizia while looking for dinner, and were glad we did. The sweet bread and oysters were incredible. The sommelier recommended the perfect wines for our dinners. Great dinner, ambiance and service.

Service is excellent, but the seafood here isn’t the town’s strong suit. This might be the best available locally, yet it still falls short compared to typical seafood standards. The steak was significantly better (obviously)

FOODIE’S TRAVEL FOR FOOD, always watching for culinary/gastronomic creativity that delights the eyes, the nose and of course, the palate… We searched out CRIZIA, a 50-Discovery restaurant, with high expectations….. BUT IT FAILS TO IMPRESS😑😑😑… Good food overall BUT quite unremarkably average. For an EXPENSIVE TASTING MENU, it DOES NOT MEASURE UP to similar 50-Discovery restaurants. 😑 flavors and textures are unexciting, they DO NOT arouse the palate. 🫤 there’s very little nose to main palate. 🫤🫤 🫤 🫤🫤THERE ARE SERIOUS FAUX PAS in 3 major courses 👎 Serving FRESH OYSTERS TOPPED WITH SAUCES, etc IS MONUMENTAL MISTAKE. Oysters MUST be served in its pristine state. One has to be able to taste the sea, to taste the waters they grow in!! For a restaurant that claims to have “discovered” the first oysters in Argentina, THEY DESTROY THE FRESHNESS AND SIMPLICITY OF THE OYSTERS… 👎 The PATAGONIAN LAMB FAILS to highlight the favor and texture of the lamb. The serving of 2 very tiny pieces crumble with a slice of the knife. ALL THAT ONE TASTES IS THE SAUCE OR MARINADE. This lamb dish has little aroma or fragrance of a meat dish! 👎 The Dessert titled “Imagination” is more of a question whether the chef had any imagination at all!!! It’s simple quenelle of UNREMARKABLE sorbet and slices of fruit. Then there’s a similarly UNIMAGINATIVE duo of chocolates. 🤗🤗🤗 A bright spot of the dinner is the WILD MUSHROOMS…complex yet delicate flavors and contrasting textures 🤗🤗🤗 Another bright spot is the SECRET OF THE OCEAN a lovely medley of seafood and fish roe, dominated by langostine. The sauces are silky and delicate. Service is good.

Hold on to your hats and get ready for a culinary adventure! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crizia, my first Michelin rated restaurant, and let me tell you, it was absolutely mind-blowing! The moment I walked up to the massive door, I knew I was in for a treat. The doorbell added a touch of exclusivity and allure to the whole experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was pure posh and spectacular - it was like stepping into a whole new world. But let's get to the best part - the food! The warm and delicious serving of bread was just the beginning. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and the main dishes were nothing short of incredible. I especially loved the seafood with black rice dish, which was a true masterpiece. The portions were generous, and I felt like I got my money's worth. And don't even get me started on the dessert sampler - it was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. I highly recommend making a reservation early and experiencing Crizia for yourself. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!.

Nestled in the heart of Puerto Madero, Lupita Mexican Bar is a vibrant haven for lovers of authentic Mexican cuisine. With its breathtaking views and lively atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot to enjoy a meal at any time. The menu boasts a delightful array of traditional dishes, from sizzling fajitas to flavorful tacos and burritos, all crafted with care and authenticity. Vegetarians will also find plenty to savor here!
This place is nicely decorated and in a great location. The service is great and the servers are on point. I ordered the chicken and steak fajita, when it came out I tried separate, then tried the chicken separate, didn't like steak and the chicken was so salty, but when I built the fajita all together with peppers, oinions, guacamole and salsa picante, it was probably the best fajita I have ever had. I was told that it was for 2 people, but I finished it pretty easily by myself. I definitely recommend this place.

A great place to have a beer and some food with your friends while overlooking the lovely scenery in Puerto Madeiro. The service was amazing, quick, very helpful and professional. The beers tasted very good with the South American sun blessing our skin. The place itself is located near office/appartement buildings I guess so the ambiance isn't the best, but that doesn't take away from this establishments quality.

We had dinner at Lupita Mexican Restaurant in Puerto Madero, and it was… an interesting ride. First things first—the service was awesome! Super friendly staff, very attentive, and they really made us feel welcome. Also, the place is gorgeous! Seriously, 10/10 for vibes and decoration. It’s Instagram-worthy for sure. Now, let’s talk about the food. Or rather… the tiny bites that waved at us on their way to someone else’s table. 😅 We ordered a dish that was $80 USD, and when it arrived, we genuinely thought it was the appetizer. For one person. Spoiler: it was meant for two. We kind of laughed… and then cried a little. Definitely bring snacks if you’re planning to share. Also, the menu was kind of a head-scratcher. We were expecting real-deal Mexican dishes, but what we got felt more like a remix by someone who once saw a taco on Pinterest. And the food? A bit too salty—like it had just gotten out of a breakup. That said, we really loved the atmosphere and the service, so we want to love this place. Just hoping they make the portions a bit more human-sized and bring in a few more authentic Mexican options. We’ll give it another shot someday—maybe after a big lunch. Small water bottle for $5.542 ($5USD)

I have been meanwhile several times at Lupita for dinner and most of the times it has been good. We usually order the plates which you can share and it tastes good. As we have dinner normally early, the waiting times are not too long. I guess that waiting times are quite long, when you come during peak time. The cocktails are good as well.
Henrik — Google review
Loved the waiters and the colorful decorations, but the restaurant was emptier than I expected. I’d recommend not sitting by the road as several people approached us trying to sell us random things/asking for money. The food was pretty good and there was a nice selection of drinks too
Andreea B — Google review
Absolutely nothing Mexican or yummy about the food here. Bread cokes out with two sauces. Supposed to be spicy jalapeño jam and a ranch. Neither taste anything like suscribes. Tortillas are dry and cold, wilted lettuce is not a substitute for cilantro. Cold potatoes don’t go with tacos, raw tomatoes and onions with no salt at least. No flavor and where their is flavor the flavors are just all off. Service was fine but the full bill was over $20k. Won’t be back
Gibby — Google review
They charge an expensive table service and give to 4 what they give to one. When I ordered more nachos they brought them all humid and with an old and cold tomato sauce. There was only one waitress while there was an employee doing nothing at the door when no one came in. And they said the burritos were two, and you can see in the photo that it was a small burrito cut in half, really expensive for the amount of food. And the normal mojito was not good at all. Don't expect to see any guacamole in the burritos neither, even if it says it brings it, I complained for this and she told me it was inside, but I really checked and there was no guacamole.

The menu features mouthwatering dishes like roasted elotes, refried beans, chicharron tacos, and birria quesadillas that are sure to please any palate. A standout dessert is the seasonal fruit popsicle drizzled with chile chamoy and tajin sauce—an absolute must-try!
Excellent Mexican food - easily the best I've had in Buenos Aires over two decades here. Their two hot sauces are amazing. Everything beautifully presented, and with a smile. Fantastic cocktails. My only negative, on the service, is the lack of "to-go" containers for if you don't finish something. Get some.

The food and service were great, my only negative was that the price was a bit high for what was served. But if you are looking for real quality Mexican food, like Oaxaca or Vera Cruise style Mexican, this is the place. The tortilla soup was probably the winner at our table but we also had a variety of tacos and all were great.

Food was extremely delicious. We had the pork tacos, beef tacos, prawns and aguachile and each dish was unique and very flavourful. We also ordered some drinks and they were delightful as well :)

Amazing taco restaurant. The person who seemed like the owner, or at least a manager, was so nice and helped me with recommendations and whatnot. In the beginning they brink out a shot of warm apple cider or something (my Spanish is not up to par so I didn't understand when they were explaining it) but it was fun and I liked it. To start I had the bean dip, which was incredible. Then I got the Tacos de Barría which were also very good and just what I needed for my taco craving. Finally, for dessert I got the Tres Leches cake slice. It was alright, but nothing special. I also got the jarochito rojo drink which was delicious. My only complaint for the entire experience was that the bean dip came with a very small amount of chips, and I was charged for extras. Besides that, I loved this restaurant.

According to the reviews on google maps this place should be delicious. Unfortunately that was not the case. The meat in the tacos did not taste very well and the tacos itself were burned and the lack of food in them. The guacamole needed more spices. It tasted of nothing. The nachos were average and could have been homemade like the most places do in Europe. I expect more when visiting a place like this in South America. Only the drinks is recommendable but that’s if. Do not try this because of the food ...

The food: The meat (beef, chicken) is bland, the food overall is mediocre. They also charge you for the nachos and sauce they provide while you are ordering, this is not made apparent until you receive the bill. It appears to be a welcoming gesture, like it is in many other places... it is not here, you must pay The service: We ordered 2 beers with our food we didn't receive any. We only had a drink here - it was called a Mojito but was not (it was orange). The seat was broken where the part you sit on was loose from the chair - when I pointed this out she simply changed the seat and left the broken on for the other table. We had to wait a long time to get served and then again when we wanted to pay. For this reason we decided not to eat there - 4 waiters was standing in the door talking but did not have time to serve us. It was not a busy time at all.

Very good street style tacos. Their other dishes are hit and miss. They offer an all you can eat option, which is great if you're really hungry, but I'd still order all tacos over the other offerings. Friendly, helpful service, cute place.
Dan P — Google review
As soon as we enter and before we could say hi they kicked us out saying they would not serve us because there was going to be a public transport strike and employee were going to leave early. However the strike was not in place that day, it was set to the day after and they said via phone we could go to eat yet five minutes earlier. I suspect there was discrimination involve in the refusal of service and the place is not high end enough to justify that. There were a group still eating with no rush and signs were up like nothing. 40 minutes to prepare and eat a couple of tacos seems more than enough however either the place is not competent to deliver tacos on time or more likely there was judgment involved.

The most authentic mexican tacos i’ve had in Bs As BY FAR! They reminded me of the street tacos i’d eat back in LA 🥲 The fish taco in particular took me straight back to Baja ! Bottom line: Great food, friendly staff, nice ambience, good service (they even offer you disposable plastic gloves so your hands don’t get dirty!). I strongly recommend this place to anyone who misses real mexican food. I’ll definitely come back for more, keep it up!✨

So far this is our favourite taco place in Buenos Aires. We’ve tried 4 places so far and this by far beats the lot. Tasty with fab flavours, great service, not greasy and excellent corn taco. The margaritas are also top notch. We went for a quick bite and ended up hanging out for ages.

Chicken tacos, guacamole and chips, 2 beers. Hot sauce had some kick which is rare in Buenos Aires. Food was really good.

If you’re looking for legit tacos in Buenos Aires, you’ve found your spot! Created by a San Diego (California, USA) native, they KNOW what actual Mexican food is. I’ve tried most of the varieties here: Birria- cheesy, crispy hard shell tacos, with tasty beef broth/ consommé to dip them in Pollo- flavorful, with ACTUAL spice, when true “picante” can be hard to find in BA Carnitas- my personal fave: shredded, slow cooked & then fried pork…very flavorful… “Gringo”- modeled after Taco Bell soft shell tacos: flour tortillas w/ ground beef, onions, tomatoes & sour cream…I would just have them add cheese next time… Good drinks (I don’t love the “Tequila Nacional”, but their passion fruit/ Maracuya gin & tonics are bangin’), fair prices, a cozy & fun vibe, with outdoor space for when the weather is nice. I’ve been a few times, most recently for a Cinco De Mayo (Mexican Independence Day) celebration that was a blast…with a live Mariachi band, followed by a DJ who spun Spanish & English faves, while everyone got up & danced (this is where the tasty bebidas came in handy, lol) Definitely worth a stop if you’re overdosing on steaks, and wanna change things up a bit. And an absolute “must try” for those, like me, feeling a bit homesick and wanting some Mexican comfort food (via The U.S.) Great spot!

Plaza Serrano is a vibrant urban square in Buenos Aires known for its street art, weekend craft markets, and bohemian bars. During weekends, the area bustles with tourists and locals exploring the open-air markets on Plaza Serrano and Plaza Armenia. The bars surrounding Plaza Serrano open their doors to independent vendors showcasing funky t-shirts, dress shirts, accessories, and handicrafts.
A fun and hip area to experience. You can check out the artwork on the buildings, hang out at the bars, enjoy a meal or do a spot of shopping. The entire area has a relaxed vibe and feels safe to walk around.

Plaza Serrano in Palermo Soho, Buenos Aires… it's one of those places that just buzzes with life. I went there not really knowing what to expect, and I ended up completely charmed. First off, the vibe is just electric. It's like the heart of Palermo Soho, surrounded by all these cool bars, restaurants, and quirky little shops. There's this really relaxed, creative energy that's just contagious. You see people from all walks of life, just hanging out and enjoying themselves. During the day, it's like an open-air design market. You can find all sorts of unique clothes, jewelry, and handmade crafts. I spent ages just browsing, and I actually picked up a really cool scarf that I haven't seen anywhere else. Then, at night, it completely transforms into this lively hub for nightlife. The food and drink options are insane. From classic Argentine cafes to restaurants serving food from all over the world, you can find anything you're craving. The bars are great too, with loads of craft beers and creative cocktails. And there's always some sort of live music or street performer adding to the atmosphere. What I really loved was just wandering around the streets surrounding the plaza. There are so many independent boutiques, art galleries, and design shops. It's the perfect place to find something unique and original. And the street art! It's everywhere, and it's so vibrant and colorful. It's like walking through an outdoor art gallery. Honestly, Plaza Serrano was one of the highlights of my time in Buenos Aires. I loved the bohemian atmosphere, the lively energy, and the sheer variety of things to see and do. It's a great place to spend an afternoon shopping, have dinner al fresco, or just people-watch. If you're visiting Buenos Aires, you absolutely have to check it out. It's a place that definitely left a lasting impression on me.

Beautiful place, full of stores and restaurants, in the heart of Palermo Soho. On the weekends, there is a street fair where local people sell their goods. Good to go all day long. Friendly environment, during the day and at night.

Craters exhibit the handmade creation on weekends. From lesthergoods, to jewelry to pet items. Close to 100 exhibitors. Music playing on the street and large crowds. Plenty of food, bars and cafes to sit and people watch.

Very nice market to visit with plenty of eateries, bars, shops and stalls outside. The market itself has a lot of good quality, creative hand made gifts. This place is good if you are gift shopping

In the heart of Palermo Soho- packed with restaurants. Has a great vibe but not for the faint-hearted- very loud music playing into the early hours. A vibrant market some days but for me, it is too much, And a bit hasslely, and I prefer the streets nearby which have a more sophisticated bohemian feel. Palermo soho has places for all tastes - plaza Serrano probably is for a younger crowd.

Perfect corner where many restaurants meet and the traffic is very light. Restaurants have their tables out so you can sit and enjoy the sun

Such a special and gorgeous cafe in Palermo! We loved the food and all the egg dishes we had were incredibly yummy. Coffee is also good and the space is very beautiful and relaxing. We loved it!

Moshu Treehouse in Palermo, Buenos Aires, is a magical treetop haven with lush greenery, twinkling fairy lights, and swing seats ideal for relaxed chats or quiet reads. Settle in for their exceptional cortado jarrita - a velvety espresso-milk blend in a cute mini pitcher, perfectly balanced and bitterness-free. The lingote de velvet cake steals the show: a stunning red velvet log with moist crumb, tangy cream cheese frosting, and cocoa-rich melt-in-your-mouth bliss. Pure joy for coffee lovers and sweet tooths alike - I'll return soon.

Great brunch place, very cutely decorated and designed. We sat outside as it was a lovely day but they also have plenty of room indoors. The scone is really tasty as well as the toast. The portions are very good and filling. They make a killer lemonade. It is definitely worth a visit when you are in Palermo. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

My friend suggested me to go this restaurant. I was very excited to go. I really liked inside. But we are Asian family (with my daughter and husband) and I didn’t feel welcoming from the entrance. We were sit in the middle which I didn’t want but they didn’t change my table even though there was lots of others empty tables at the moment. Waitress was not really nice as I can’t speak Español but my husband is fluently speaking Español. But I don’t like he is explaining what I want. The waitress just played like dumb like she can’t understand me at all. So I couldn’t have what I want. Because the menu has no pictures So I can’t find what I want. Anyways, surprisingly I found out the waitress actually speaks English because we I went to bathroom and noticed she was at the other table with English speaker but white people and she was having a conversation in English. Don’t assume that I am Asian and not speaking well in English I am from Canada and speaking English Fluently. I am making this review and got mad again how she treated us. Food was nothing really special as I want to go back there with the poor customer service. Their food looks good what they serve to other table. I tried to grab the waitress again and tried to point I want that. But again she just didn’t understand even though i pointed the food I want. It was not language problem, she just didn’t want to help us. Well, maybe they don’t care because I don’t live there so I can’t become a regular customer. I travelled lots of places and I have huge family in Buenos Aires as my husband is from there. I never have experienced discrimination but here first time. Sorry I can’t give 5 stars for food because I couldn’t try your good food. Just the normal sandwich which I posted.

A lovely place! Excellent food. I loved my beef sandwich which was very high quality. The fruit platter was delicious and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent and well made. There's also a great choice of cakes. We went twice during our stay in Buenos Aires. We also had breakfast which was lovely although the eggs came out very undercooked for everyone, I'm not sure if that's the style here. Apart from the eggs everything else was great.

Guey Taqueria is a Mexican restaurant that has left many patrons impressed with its offerings. The promo tacos, which include 2 tacos, nachos, and a drink, were particularly delightful for one visitor. Another customer indulged in the promo tortas and burritos de cerdo, both of which were described as sensational. The consistency in taste and quality makes this spot stand out among other dining places in Argentina.
Wow! Full of flavor, exceptional service, love the look and atmosphere. Excellent menu. What a great meal and experience we had. Can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Very nice pop-up for Mexican tacos. We tried one of each and they were all nice, with a high note on the fried chicken. Tortillas are corn based, guacamole and frijoles very good as well. Do not expect Mexican spice, they are very mild adapted to local regular client. I strongly suggest improving the chairs, they are really uncomfortable even for a quick bite.
Fernando M — Google review
Absolutely delighted with our second visit to this Mexican gem! Our first time, we savored the promo tacos (2 tacos + nachos + 1 drink) – a true delight. Today, we indulged in the promo tortas (sandwich de chavo + totopos + lemonade) for 6000ARS and burritos de cerdo for 5300ARS. The flavors were sensational, giving us hope in Argentinian dine-in places after a series of disappointing experiences. Consistency in taste and quality makes this spot a standout recommendation!

In the heart of Palermo, Ya Cabron is a culinary gem born from Esteban Cigliutti's Mexican travels during the 2020 pandemic. Originally a delivery service, it has evolved into a charming restaurant offering happy boxes with an array of tacos and snacks for two.
Very innovative and delicious tacos. I live in California, USA, and have eaten plenty of good tacos. Ya carbon tacos were Next Level Up. The marinated entraña was incredible. I sincerely appreciated the very patient waiter dealing with my limited Spanish and showing up too early for dinner serving time.

Vera Cruz is a restaurant that offers a taste of classic Mexican cuisine, making it a worthwhile stop for food enthusiasts. While some diners have found the ambiance lacking and noted mixed experiences with drinks—particularly the margaritas—it seems to shine in its food offerings. Many patrons appreciate the friendly service and generous portions, making it suitable for both casual snacks and hearty meals.
Great Mexican food, very classic style, real friendly staff and very decent portions. Also good for a quick snack. Very recommended!!

I have been to and worked in Mexico many times and this is not Mexican food. It is a poor interpretation of tex-mex. It is also VERY EXPENSIVE. They wanted $150 USD for something that would have cost $30-40 in the United States.

(Translated by Google) The truth is that it is the saddest thing I ordered for delivery. The vegetable burrito has less flavor than drinking a glass of water. And the portion of rice is pitiful, but really pitiful. Absolutely negative Cost Quality. A tasteless red sauce. It is buying the container of tomato for the day. And heat it in the microwave with oil.

(Translated by Google) VERY bad, nothing Mexican, the minimum portions. The "burrito" is a poorly tied tortilla with a rather mediocre filling. All made with the same mediocre quality tortillas, the taco, the burrito and the quesadilla, the truth is I use these names to identify them because they do not honor any of the aforementioned dishes. I think the worst is between the burrito and the quedadilla I attach a photo of the "quesadilla" which is nothing more than a fajita with a badly placed feta cheese that you make at home in 2 minutes, they are not a Mexican restaurant, they are honestly a scam, a quick homemade meal without desire. I hope they improve, all my criticism is so that they react and give a 180 degree turn to their food, if they take it the wrong way I apologize but I find both the presentation and the flavors an offense.

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Recoleta, El Salto de las Ranas is a charming two-story restaurant located on Rodriguez Pena, conveniently surrounded by other popular dining spots like Cumana and Las Cholas. While the overall culinary experience may be considered average, this eatery truly shines with its delicious fajitas that are a must-try. The ambiance is inviting, featuring pleasant decor that enhances your dining experience.
Jeez! Reading the expat reviews here I expected the culinary equivalent to the hellhole of Calcutta. Typical local take on Mexican cuisine at an unbeatable price. The decor is quite nice, and I didn't notice any above-average slothing on part of my (male) waiter. The seating does suck, though :) Anywhere outside the country, I'd give it a solid 3. Given the Argentine propensity to absolutely slaughter any food that's not beef, 4 stars it is.

The interior is good and the menu had nice variety, but what promised to be a great mexican food was not great. Service was a bit delayed too.
Desikan J — Google review
Service was absolutely terrible. We know that in Latin America customer service tends to take longer, but this place was just ridiculous. When we finally got served, we began asking questions about the menu and the waiter seemed completely annoyed, then preceded to walk away without saying anything. The tortilla chips were disgusting, like someone described they were literally deep fried tortilla triangles. When our waiter returned we asked whether or not they took credit cards before continuing to order. They did not. They also did not take US Dollars. We politely told them that we could not eat here since some members of our eating party did not have enough Argentinian Pesos to enjoy a full meal. We never tried the food and we're glad we didn't. It did not seem very authentic and the waiter's attitude was extremely off-putting.

The male staff should resign as they appear to be very disinterested in their work and offer nil service. They were unable to open the front doors to allow a woman with a pram to enter the resturant as it appeared they do not want children in the resturant. Very poor attitude.

At the beginning they bring you some straws with sauce We had a very bad experience with some of the dishes and the little resolution to the problem...
