If you're on the hunt for authentic Korean cuisine in Edmonton, look no further than Hansik Korean Restaurant. This gem is dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience by using only the finest ingredients, ensuring that every dish stands out in flavor and quality. Whether you’re craving something light like bibimbap or wraps, or a hearty meal such as noodle dishes and stews, Hansik has got you covered for any occasion.
Korean restaurant in the north that was one of our go to place. Their portions are a lot smaller than what we were used to but it’s inflation so we understand. Same great taste though. And they did a bit of an expansion so the place is a tad bigger. Plenty of seating arrangement and the service was fast. We ordered the half fried chicken with a sweet and spicy sauce on the side, pork belly and japchae. No complaints on the taste. Also, kid friendly and there are plenty of parking in front and the side.
McGriffin C — Google review
I recently visited Hansik Korean Cuisine and found the food to be quite good overall. The portion sizes were generous and more than enough for a satisfying meal, which I really appreciated. However, the tteokbokki was an exception—it felt a bit lacking in quantity compared to the other dishes. One thing I did notice was that Hansik doesn’t serve the usual variety of side dishes (banchan) that I’ve come to expect at most Korean restaurants. These sides, like kimchi and pickled radish, are a staple in Korean dining and add a lot to the experience, so their absence was noticeable. The restaurant itself is comfortable and the staff friendly, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers a good range of options, and the food tastes authentic, reminiscent of home-cooked Korean meals. Despite the good food and portions, the missing sides and the smaller tteokbokki portion kept my overall impression from being higher. Overall, I would rate Hansik Korean Cuisine 3 stars. It’s a decent spot for Korean food, especially if you’re looking for hearty portions, but it could improve by including the traditional side dishes that enhance the meal experience.
Miguel P — Google review
One of the best meals I've had lately! The food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. And extremely reasonable for price. I loved it and will be coming back again.
Ashley F — Google review
Take out. Overall: very tasty, good portions, would order here again. Bulgogi beef stir fry, extra spicy, was awesome! Other dishes (bibimbap, dumplings, etc.) were very good, though the chicken bao buns were neutral for me. Food prep was fast, arrived hot and fresh.
David U — Google review
I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and Bulgogi Beef from Hansik Korean Cuisine today through Uber Eats, since the rating on uber eats is 4.6. Though I don't think they deserve such a high rating on Uber eats. I spent 86 dollars overall on my orders for my family and we were all greatly disappointed. The Korean Fried Chicken was very dry and tough, and the most of the chicken was just very dried skin and the meat was very hard to chew. The sauces that came with the chicken also were bit fresh as well. The Bulgogi Beef was fresh as well and the beef was not very tender as it should. And I found something that taste like paper in the beef. I honestly wished that I could have returned the food because I and my friends were not satisfied and I spent a lot so the food shouldn't have been that bad. I am writing this review not out of spite but to hopefully make the restaurant aware that they need improvement and to make other uber eats buyers aware to look more into the restaurant before buying. I tried calling Hansik Korean Cuisine many times but no respond.
Tony S — Google review
The to go service is really good. They double wrapped my food and put it in two bags to prevent spillage and it was still piping hot when it came to me. Also, the service is really good. I was scared my food would have pork in it but they want above and beyond to make me comfortable.
L M — Google review
This place was a good dining experience where flavour and value meet in perfect harmony. The dishes are prepared with just the right amount of spices. The service, equally on point, is attentive without being intrusive. For the price, this spot is an exceptional find that delivers on taste, ambiance, and hospitality, making it a standout. Will sure visit again.

The food is amazing. I find this restaurant so underrated! Like come on, one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to. The kind welcoming reliable customer service itself is more reason to go to this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend, please go try it (:

Nestled in the heart of Edmonton, NongBu Korean Eatery is a delightful spot that brings traditional Korean cuisine to life. This charming eatery focuses on offering a rotating menu filled with authentic dishes that are often overlooked in the local dining scene. With an emphasis on quality over quantity, their offerings include beloved favorites like fried ddukbbokki—crispy rice cakes tossed in a perfectly balanced sweet and spicy sauce—and kalguksu bowls featuring hand-cut noodles swimming in rich broths.
Excellent service! The staff are very friendly and approachable. a little bit pricey, but hey! the food tastes delicious, I would say that what we paid for was worth it. We had bulgogi jangeol, pork bulgogi, and bibimbap. we will definitely come back again😍 . . And so we went back and tried different dishes today: budae jiggae, spicy o Sam, and kimchi bokumbap. Everything's delicious.😊
Gabrielle A — Google review
Overall A Good Korean Restaurant in the neighbourhood. Service is great. The restaurant is small and neat. A Great place to eat on Whyte. The kimbap is sublime, bulgogi is delicious. Also, ask for tea, and was served Roasted Corn Tea. Something different but good.
Mustang M — Google review
Nong Bu was one of the first restaurants many years that lead the renaissance of new Korean fusion dining to hit the scene in Edmonton. Just off Whyte Avenue, this was often considered one of the top 5 eateries in YEG. Since that time, Korean establishments have seen an explosion in the city from traditional to modern to street eclectic eating. Nong Bu still has the same level of super service and a very cool dining space with old Korean films playing on the wall high above where everyone is eating. The food is all of a very good quality and very well presented. It is delicious! The menu is a bit more limited than some of the other Korean restaurants that now offer a wide array of various eats. Though Nong Bu's menu may be more succinct, they stick to what they do well and it seems to work for them. A super experience in Korean food if you are ever in the Whyte Avenue area. 4 x 🍜🍜🍜🍜
Wes I — Google review
Do not waste your money the food here is bland. No flavour at all. Do not order the beef hotpot (bulgogi jeongol). I informed the server that there was no flavour and asked for something to bring some flavour and she brought some sauce that did nothing. I felt horrible for spending my hard earned money $35 so I asked for it to be send back but they continued to refuse. I ended up getting 15% off. But that’s only $5.25 off. There are other way better Korean restaurants. Do not waste your money here.
Sharon K — Google review
Seafood pancake was very crispy though 파가 너무 많아요… Butter Bulgogi Deopbap was delicious because the beef and butter created a great combination. Servers were very nice and we had more 반찬 (kimchi and Daikon can be refilled). Worth a try!
Cynthia P — Google review
This has to be the best Korean restaurant in Edmonton for 2017/2018. Although it is slightly highly priced, the food is amazing. Ginseng chicken was done to perfection, and the skewers taste great along with the gimbap! Really loved the presentation of every dish and the restaurant interior is very inviting, great atmosphere! Definitely would come again especially during lunch hours for their lunch specials!
Ivan H — Google review
I was greeted by the sweetest server I have come across in a long time. She asked if I had tried traditional Korwan food before, and when I said no she asked if I would like some recommendations to which I enthusiastically said yes. She offered both vegetarian and meat dishes as well as a drink. I decided to try the Milkis (it's like milk with Sprite and AMAZINGLY GOOD) Then I ordered a meat dish with a side of rice and some sort of vegetable addition. Below are the pictures of the food. This k of it like a taco or fajita but instead of having Mexican ingredients you have Korean ones. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful everything about this place was new and exciting and wonderful. Would definitely come again and recomend to others.
Lilly W — Google review
Korean street food is all about sharing and variety. I wouldn't say that the portions were big enough, especially for the price, but it's a decent amount of food. From the free side dishes to the main plates, everything had a good amount of flavour - chili paste was not over bearing or too spicy to handle, not overly salty, nice char on some of the vegetables etc. The fried DdukBboKki had a nice crisp, and chewy inside. For our pork belly, we added lettuce and rice for an extra cost, but it was definitely better in a lettuce wrap than by itself. The cucumbers, and lettuce added some freshness to the pork belly. The customer service was also very good. Waitress was very mindful of us at all times. The only problem we had was the sticky table. Not sure if there was a spill beforehand, or the wood finish was degrading, but it made our experience slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, recommended.

Food here was really good and fresh, and the flavors were on point. Service was excellent too—the staff were super attentive and friendly, making the whole meal easy and enjoyable. What surprised me is that it wasn’t very busy for a Friday night. Honestly, this place deserves to have more people coming in because the quality is definitely there. Overall, great spot for Korean BBQ, and I’d happily come back again!
Patrick L — Google review
Celebrated my birthday here 2 months ago and had a really good time. Servers were attentive enough when I needed them for assistance (like renewing the side dishes and the grill) Food tasted exactly like you’d expect any other kbbq to taste like but side dishes were unlimited and the marinated beef was really tasty. The overall environment inside the place was great and I had a really fun time!
Amber A — Google review
Came here on our last night in Edmonton The ambiance was clean with plenty of seating and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered an array of meats all of which were excellent quality. Overall price was great and authentic!
Phillip L — Google review
I went here with my wife for our wedding anniversary back in September and have already been back two more times since. The meat quality is excellent, and all of the sides you get are delicious. What we really appreciated though is the rapid service you receive. We never waited more than like 15 seconds for a server to come to our table after ringing the bell, and often they come almost instantly. This is consistent across all three of our visits. Our favourite meat hands down was the marinated pork shoulder, but all the meats are great. I also really like the yukgaejang soup (M11 on the menu). I want to acknowledge our server Yoni from our last visit who recognized my wife and I and certainly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We really appreciated your friendly service and answering our questions.

Great place for kbbq ! I ate kbbq for first time alone and I had to order two sets of meat so it was a lot. Their side dish are amazing ! Quick service and clean place. I recommend if you are craving for kbbq. They have a good variety of different dishes.

Great meal - the, had the beef dinner for 2, and a starter of steamed dumplings which had a different flavour, a floral flavour which we didn’t enjoy. The meal was perfect for 3 people.

DAORE Korean Restaurant is a casual dining spot offering a variety of Korean BBQ and classic dishes, along with limited beer and wine options. The establishment is known for its generous food portions and multiple small side dishes that accompany the main orders. Customers appreciate the free drink served, which is believed to aid digestion. The restaurant's ambiance is described as calm and pleasant, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, DAORE offers halal Korean menu options, catering to diverse dietary preferences.
I LOVE IT! The food tastes great, literally, I loved everything. First, they have a picture for each of the dishes in the menu. They are really generous with the food portions, they put several small sides with the food we ordered, and the potatoes in the sides tastes great! Then there's this free drink, I think it's made of rice water and something else, I'm not sure, but it's supposed to be good for digestion maybe. Also, the ambiance is really nice, it's calm, and the place is cute. The service is really nice. And in the end of our meal, we got caramel candy, so nice, I love it when restaurants give a little candy thing with their bill. And the prices are great! Thank you so much!!! 😊

We came here for my wife's b-day dinner and wanted to try out a new Korean restaurant. We thought it was medicore as we have had better. The fried porkchop and spicy chicken combined dish was very good. There are lots of non-spicy dishes compared to other restaurants. The atmosphere is pretty nice as it is not too crowded. This restaurant opens on Monday!!
B C — Google review
Thank you Mia for cater our halal Korean menu during Family Day. The food was great in portion, all menu are delicious and suite our palate. The only things that less is the spiciness of the fried chicken. It would be great if it is more spicy. We truly enjoy our first halal Korean dishes in Edmonton. Definitely will come back again.

Great food. I haven't been back since the new ownership took over. Staff seems a lot quieter than before but the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend checking out the hangover soup!

One of the korean restaurants in the city that I visit regularly. My family and me all love korean food. Highly recommend this place to go with your friends or family. Share big portion is a good deal. Free after meal dessert is very good. Refresh and sweet. Service always fast and servers are very friendly.

Amazing customer service and the most consistent Korean food in a restaurant. Always fresh and full of flavour!

Really cute restaurant - well decorated. I think they're doing a great job of making Korean food more unique. Portions were decently large and reasonably priced. Everything tasted delicious!
Felicia T — Google review
We ordered tofu soup with beef, kimchi soup and fried chicken. The Kimchi soup is more spicy than the tofu soup but both are good. Fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside.

Restaurant
Dookbaeki Korean Restaurant South is a charming, wood-paneled eatery that specializes in traditional Korean soups served in hot stone bowls. This cozy spot offers a delightful array of hearty dishes, including dwaeji gukbap and gamja tang, all crafted with care. The secret behind their rich flavors lies in the meticulous preparation process—simmering bones and meat for over two days to extract every bit of marrow and collagen.
Dinner time ... Delicious food. The soups were full of yummy ingredients. I ordered "mild" for spice level, which for me was just right. (This level is about the average spicy level at similar restaurants.) The soup broths here were delicious, and they still had a very flavourful soup bone taste. The side dishes of kimchi, bean sprouts, and pickled radish were very tasty. Freshly made and fluffy steamed rice; good portion sizes; average prices; good service; clean environment.
Rob S — Google review
If you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food, Dookbaeki is a solid choice in South Edmonton. Their hot stone pot dishes are bubbling hot and packed with flavor , perfect for chilly days or anyone who loves hearty soups. The pork bone soup and beef brisket hot pot are especially good. You’ll also get a generous selection of banchan (side dishes), kimchi, pickled radish, seasoned beansprouts, and more, all fresh and refillable upon request. Service is fast and friendly, although it can get a bit hectic during peak hours. The interior is fairly simple, but clean. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large , you’ll leave full and satisfied. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and want a hot, flavorful Korean meal without breaking the bank.

Tried out this place for a weeknight supper. It was excellent. I had the Gogi Kalgooksu and it was to die for!! When I say I licked the bowl clean I mean it! And the gimmari was a stand out appetizer. All the noodles were fresh and delicious. The soup broth was really deep and rich. The service was excellent as well. I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu!
M B — Google review
I am here at least every other week. My partner and I usually order the same thing lately but honestly everything I’ve tried is authentic (I’ve lived in Korea for 15 years and grew up eating home cooked Korean food). My favorite is galbitang which is only served on weekends (for now anyway). Staff are super friendly - a bonus! I know Korean BBQ is a thing now, but if you want to try something different and authentic, give this place a try.
Loori L — Google review
Amazing Korean food with authentic flavors! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Great service and cozy atmosphere, definitely a spot I’ll come back to.
Anh T — Google review
I absolutely love the soups at this restaurant and would recommend them to everyone. The flavors are rich and vibrant, reminiscent of the bold cuisine I grew up with in the Caribbean. Packed with fresh ingredients, the soups make for a hearty and satisfying meal.
Shaheed C — Google review
Been coming here for 10 years and I'm confident to say this will be my last time. Extremely poor service and attitude by the ladies. Came at 8pm to an empty restaurant, and was told the last call is in 10mins. Ordered and took them nearly 20mins to serve. Flipped to close sign at 8:30. Never even came and checked for food nor refill the side dishes. 3 pieces of beef in a $20 soup. How do you run a business like this?
YIFAN Z — Google review
Delicious traditional Korean food is served here as well as the other location inside WEM. It’s a Monday morning with busy lunch rush. Only one server on the floor but she handled very well and great with multi tasking. The frozen yogurt after paid was a simple treat. Much appreciated. Would be back soon 😊

Nestled in a central location, Lee House Korean Restaurant offers a delightful escape into the world of traditional Korean cuisine. If you're a fan of K-Dramas and have been inspired by the delicious meals showcased on screen, you'll find many of them here at Lee House.
Our server Jolie and Andrew was so nice and attentive. If this review was just about service this place would be 5 stars! But the food was EVEN better than the service!! It may be a buffet but they brought the hot items in small quantities so it was always fresh. The hot pot broth we tried was rich and flavourful and got into every bite of food we cooked in it. Loved the fresh fried chicken and the seafood pancakes. I can honestly say there wasn't a good in the buffet I didn't enjoy. BBQ items were also brought out cooked and had a great char flavour. Includes icecream and ice tea as well! Overall best value for an ayce I've had in Edmonton. I can't wait to come back.

Hot pot! First time eating from a hot pot. Nice raw buffet selection as well as a portion for cooked food. My S.O. was skeptical at first but definitely enjoyed it once he got a taste. Delicious!
Lina R — Google review
The food was excellent, as always. It was our first time trying the Rose broth for hot pot, and the combination of spicy flavors with cheese was absolutely perfect. We left feeling very full, but we’ll definitely be coming back for more. Panda was also very kind and friendly, and having Taylor Swift piano music in the background made the experience even better.
Troy M — Google review
Nice decoration and atmosphere. Neighborhood isn't the greatest unfortunately. Food was good. Star of the show was the japchea. It has that nice wok smoke flavour on it, YUM! The KFC was boneless, so not the most tender. The side dishes are refillable, really nice kimchi, pickled raddish, beans prout salad and sweet potatoes cubes. They also have free ice cream for dessert! Chocolate and vanilla when I was here, still a nice benefit.
Alihandro D — Google review
It was our first time here. We decided to try it as it came across my instagram feed one day. Ohh boy it didn’t disappoint. We had the creamy cheese soup base and it was delish. We have to try the other 3 soup bases. They have lesser options compared to other hotpot buffet places but it wasn’t bad. We enjoyed our experience. Just hard to find parking but not a deal breaker. Me and my best friend came here to eat yesterday, everything tasted amazing and we were so full, the service is really top notch (panda was an awesome sever) really recommend their pork back bone stew it made my evening it was so flavourful, my bestie really enjoyed their sweet n spicy chicken in her words “just 10/10”. We will be back, it was a great evening.

Went here for an anniversary dinner and might I say it was delightful! The food was delicious, especially the cheese corn. That is a must if you come. The tofu stew was delicious as well. The decorations were also a nice touch and the Kimchi is all homemade so it feels authentic. I would definitely recommend!

Bul Go Gi House is a well-established eatery that offers classic Korean cuisine in a casual setting. With a history dating back to 1973, this unpretentious restaurant serves up traditional Korean entrees in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Diners can enjoy a variety of popular dishes, such as Gyeran Mari, Kimchi Jjigae, or LA Bulgalbi.
We came from Grande Prairie to celebrate my son’s birthday, because of allllll the fabulous restaurants to choose from…. He picked Bulgogi House!! Not that I’m complaining…🤤🤤🤤 Lunch was absolutely scrumptious, hot, fresh and so so filling!!! The waitresses was friendly and attentive, and worth every penny!!! 🤌🤌 I have nothing but positive, happy memories in this cozy little restaurant!!! (We even had our family dinner there, 19 years ago on our wedding day, suits dress and all!!)

This restaurant is an absolute gem of a place. Everything is delicious (that I have tried), their bean sprout salad is something I find myself craving lately at night, and I am not a fan of bean sprout salad. Took a couple friends here for their first visit, and my first visit since my Campus St. Jean days, and everything was amazing. Thank you so much for just being awesome, folks!
Renee M — Google review
We were so excited to come here. My lady hadn't been in years and I'd never been but do love me some good Korean food. The Kimchi Pancake was awesome... So was the little cold sprout salad... But unfortunately the rest was so underwhelming with an overwhelming price tag. When you spend $27 on a seafood stir-fry at least put some seafood in it...new owners maybe? Hopefully it was just an off night and that most people have better food with more seafood in their seafood dish than we did... I don't like to be a Debbie downer, especially for a place that's been there so long... It's got a good rating so maybe this was a one off bad experience but we won't be going back... Or recommend it to anybody... Tasted more like food court food rather than a special place to go eat at. As I've heard over and over before...

Even coming here for over 20 years and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed and felt let down. I understand inflation and increased costs but the portion of rice is way too small, kimchi way too small, a familiar dish had omitted ingredients. Overall it was close to the same taste just wasn’t up to bulgogi house par. I’d suggest just charging more and keeping the original quality. Sidenote. Beef short ribs are still amazing.
A — Google review
The portion size is ridiculously small. Hardly any beef in the bibimbap and the smallest egg. I will never order gain. This place used to be great...not anymore!
C — Google review
It's been about 2 years since we've eaten at the Bulgogi House, and the food is just as tasty and delicious now as it was before. I called for take out and everything was ready at the promised time, and it was still hot even after returning home to Fort Saskatchewan. Yes, you read that right, the food is worth the 30-40 minute drive! We always order the same dishes as we've found our favourites since we first discovered this hidden gem over 30 years ago. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers in that the portions seem a little smaller, and the prices a little higher than the last time we ate there, but I'm willing to pay a premium for constantly delicious food. We won't let another 2 years go by again before returning to the Bulgogi House.
Marc D — Google review
Bulgogi House will transport you back in time and make you feel like you are in a different era....it's nostalgic for those that remember the Asian food restaurants in small towns in Alberta. Aside from that, I felt a bit disappointed in the portion to cost ratio. You don't get much for your buck here. The soup was half the size that I got from Hansik and Pocha Seoul for the same cost. The food was just ok, it was not amazing contrary to some of the reviews on here. I also asked if I can have a piece of lettuce for my toddler daughter and the owner/waitress said that it would be $6. For the $40 worth of food that I ordered, I didn't think it was an unreasonable ask for a piece of lettuce.

If you're on the hunt for a unique dining experience in Edmonton, look no further than Makchang Dodook. This exciting new addition to the local food scene is a Korean BBQ restaurant that brings an authentic taste of South Korea right to your table. With over 130 locations globally, it has made its mark as one of the most popular KBBQ spots around.
Food was amazing. The meats were well-marinated, fresh, and grilled to perfection. Staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with the grill or bring refills. The only downside was that for a group of 7, we had to share just one grill. It would’ve been much better (and faster!) if there were two grills at the table. Still, we had a great time and left full and happy. Bonus points for the squid costumes you can wear for photos so random but hilarious. Definitely coming back!

The atmosphere of the place is really good - top tier! A place where you can enjoy with your friends and family! The bathroom is really clean too! We had an amazing time because of their service. They checked us from time to time to make sure that we have everything we need. For the food, their side dishes are refillable! Their meet is fresh, we just felt that the serving for individual order is not much. The $ 25 La Galbi is only two strips as it is good for two people. Maybe the combos are better? Nonetheless, the experience is good!

Great spot for dinner. 4 of us had a blast and tried many of the dishes. Properly one of the most tasty Japchae that we have had. The service was amazing and they took good care of us. Definitely enjoyed the selection in the party combo we ordered.

Good quality meats but a bit pricey for quantity. We ordered Garlic Sauce Seasoned Short Rib, Kkotgalbisal and Cheese Sticks and Fries. They give lots of sides as well. Good customer service. Will return to try the other meats.

I came here to eat meat with my friends for my friend’s birthday and it was the best experience. I’ve been to many bbq places in Edmonton and I can say here is the best one so far. The meat quality is really good and marinated options are very flavourful and tasty! The servers are very kind and caring they guided us through everything and also sang us happy birthday will come again! Also the side dishes are very fresh and there’s so many options and they told us they are refillable once we order meat!

Makchang Dodook is a fun and tasty spot for Korean BBQ in South Edmonton. The meat was fresh and grilled perfectly at the table. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. One of the best parts was the lots of complimentary side dishes (banchan). Kimchi, cucumber salad, pickled radish, pasta salad, and more, refilled if you ask! We also got a soup on the side, but it was very spicy, so if you’re not good with heat, I recommend telling the staff when you order. They’re super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a unique, Squids Game interior and is a great place to go with friends or family. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving good Korean BBQ in Edmonton.

If you're on the hunt for a lively dining experience with friends, Ginseng Restaurant (AYCE/Korean BBQ House) is a fantastic choice. Renowned for its swift service and welcoming staff, this spot offers an impressive array of Korean dishes in its all-you-can-eat buffet. Guests can indulge in a variety of options including fresh seafood, succulent meats, crisp salads, steamed rice, and delightful fruit cocktails.
Calm and quiet, they had the hockey game on. I usually get my grilled meat fix at gyukaku or baekjong and I'm so so happy I found this AYCE place near the H&W produce. If you have mobility issues be aware the floor is a little uneven in some spots, once we noticed it was no issue at all to navigate, but my partner caught his cane on the floor a couple times. The lettuce and onion were fresh and crispy, and I loooooved the pork belly and beef options. Lamb, chicken, and seafood was also available. The marinated meats were mildly spicy, but I have a low spice tolerance, so some might wish for more. Since it was just my partner and I, we each got our own grill since even the small tables have two. All the food is self serve buffet style, including the drinks and the seasonings. I appreciated the thin sliced fresh garlic, we knew it was fresh since it was still a little spicy. The service was impeccable, professional, kind, and quick. Our grills were changed and plates cleared often. No pressure to rush, we sat and chatted for awhile after our food was finished and it was lovely. Just remember to pay at the front, you don't need to wait for a bill or anything.
Ninjozata — Google review
We’ve given Ginseng a few tries. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, the selection is surprisingly limited. There just isn’t much variety, especially when compared to other similar spots in the area. What’s more concerning is that every time we’ve eaten here, we’ve ended up with stomach issues, including diarrhea. We’re not sure if it’s a food handling issue, we didn’t cook the food well or something else, but it’s been consistent enough to raise red flags. We wanted to like this place, but between the lack of options and the unpleasant aftereffects, it’s just not worth the risk.
Nicole Y — Google review
This is my favourite style of restaurant. Our server was amazing and throughly explained their buffet process as it was our first time at this location. The options were plenty full and constantly restocked, everything was super fresh and just overall a wonderful dinner with my husband. We will 100% be back !

Went for a late night dinner, food was really well presented, everything was clean, the meat was well portioned and not super fatty and well seasoned. Staff was really friendly would go again. For the price you pay it's pretty decent. Kimchi wasn't over powering and not too.kich paste on it, but just right delicious!!! Would recommend!!

We came on a Friday night, no reservation required. They have a decent selection of meats. If you're a meat lover you'll definitely get your money's worth. Free fountain drinks as well.
Arth C — Google review
Great value here to get your all you can eat meat fix. Plenty of options from chicken, beef, pork, mussels and shrimp, spicy and non spicy. Quality of the meat is not bad but I did have to spit out a lot of gristle. Burners are swapped out frequently which is great since most of the marinades burn quickly leaving a lot of charred residue. Free soda refills at the self serve machine was a nice bonus. This place is busy so get here early if you want to find parking close by. It was a struggle to waddle back to the car.

Ginseng was an immaculate experience! The price was great! And service was very attentive, I loved how they changed the hot plates periodically! Loved the options they had and the selection of food, meats, veggies and soups! My personal favourites were the fried rice, top sirloin, and the bean sprouts! Definitely coming back here to do karaoke!

Korean Village BBQ is a family-run restaurant that has a great selection of authentic Korean dishes and beer. Their meal can satisfy you for a good price. With great meals, fair prices, and an accessible restaurant, they're one of the go-to's for the best buffet in Edmonton.
Korean Village Restaurant is a hidden gem! This charming family-owned spot has been run by a lovely elderly couple from Korea for 30 years. The warm hospitality of the owner, who served us with such care, truly made our experience special. She frequently checked on us, ensured our pan was refreshed, and generously replenished the meats for us. The menu offered plenty of delicious meat options, and the atmosphere was both cute and authentic. We loved the traditional seating area with cushions—it felt like visiting a favorite grandma's home! The prices are very reasonable for the high quality of food and service. I especially liked the spicy lamb and the kimchi soup. It was just the right amount of spice to tingle the tongue without numbing it. I also noticed how clean and well-maintained the kitchen area looked, which added to our confidence in dining here. Overall, we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

This place is incredible. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. Not once. It is always tasty, fresh, clean, and service is so friendly and accommodating. I could talk about the quality of food and the marinades. I could talk about the side dishes and the flavours that are so good. I could talk about the owners and how they make you feel like family. I won’t do that. There are so many reviews that make those statements already and they are right. What I will say, is that I come from out of town, and this is one of the main places I must come to every time I’m in Edmonton. Every time. I suggest you come too. Personally, I say it is reasonably priced and the food is amazing.

I went to this restaurant with my sister and her fiance back in November. When the owner found out that we were visiting from Alberta and that my sister was getting married, he brought out a bunch of different things for us to try. He even gave my sister and her fiance 2 50-cent coins and talked about how the two coins have to come together to make 1, just like how they will be coming together soon when they are married. He was genuinely the nicest, sweetest, most humble person I have ever met. I’d definitely be back to support him when I visit Toronto again.

Great food and selection. Good service. Meat was fresh and marinated. Kimchee was bomb. Reasonable pricing. Will come back!
Muah B — Google review
Despite this location being really far from home, it was worth the visit. They had a nice selection of meats and seafood, and you can tell they marinaded the meat well as the flavours lasted, post grill. The decor is interesting here. It makes you feel like you're somewhere else almost... With the hood fan hidden inside the florescent lights and the small, homey vibe. Apparently there is karaoke and drinks upstairs which we have yet to experience, but a friend mentioned he was able to book it out once. Everyone I know who has been here before has had a positive experience and I'm one more to that list. As satisfying it is to eat all you can, save room for the cinnamon bread and ice cream. It is delicious and is a nice refreshing taste at the end of all that meat.

First time here. This is a hidden gem. It's been here since 1990. Amazingly very delicious. The owner served us with a smile and very welcoming. They freshly fried rice and served us. It's delicious. Customer were also offered ice cream as desert. Lots of parking spots. Definitely will come again.

Great little hidden gem! Feels like being in Korea and going to a neighbourhood , family owned restaurant. Homey and delicious. Some of the marinades were so good! We loved the experience and enjoyed everything we ate! I only wish they had more options for dining. They only do all you can eat, and the current price is $41/person. We're not big meal people so it didn't feel like we ate $40 worth of food. It does come with lots of sides, fountain drinks, and ice cream for dessert though! So if you can eat a lot in one sitting you'd enjoy it! However, having some options, like ordering one plate of meat, would make it easier for us to support the restaurant more! At this price we won't be able to go often.

Blown away by this little Korean BBQ restaurant! I was skeptical by the other reviews but I’m so satisfied with my experience here! I cannot believe this restaurant has been serving the Edmonton community since 1990! This is a honest, authentic, humble little restaurant that I stumbled upon recently and if I can give them more stars I definitely would! Here’s why! 🌟True to the basics! In KBBQ culture it’s important to have good quality ingredients. Their meat is seasoned well, not over seasoned and the cuts were beautiful. The pork belly slices were well portioned between fat and meat. They bring oil and flavour to the grill! My favourite was the squid (not common anywhere else?) 🦑 👌All you can eat! Truly means all inclusive! With soft drinks, selection of hot food and yummy desserts! No hidden fees, it’s simple and no fuss. When you go in, you start eating! 90 mins is plenty of time to eat till you’re stuffed. Like other all you can eat places, this restaurant makes sure customers don’t waste food with their food waste fee (only applied if you are not responsible with your plate)! ❤️Atmosphere and Culture. From the Korean decor and homely atmosphere to the actual KBBQ grilling experience, it made me feel like I wasn’t in Edmonton freezing in the middle of winter. They lasted from 1990 until now for a reason! They are doing an amazing job creating an amazing dining experience. Please visit and support this little hidden gem in our city and give them an amazing review. The owner is so kind and I can feel the love and care they’ve given to this place. I’m so proud of the owner and staff for this wonderful restaurant they’ve created. I look forward to returning next time! 🥰

At Rice Bowl Deluxe, the motto "Eat Rice, Live Forever" perfectly encapsulates the delightful culinary journey that awaits you. Nestled in Jasper Park, this eatery boasts an extensive menu that highlights a fantastic selection of Hong Kong-inspired dishes. The fast-casual vibe makes it an inviting spot for everyone to enjoy a refreshing meal. The local favorite Hainan Chicken Rice is a must-try, featuring tender chicken paired with flavorful ginger sauces and garlic-infused rice that elevates the dish.
Great spot for authentic Hong Kong style Chinese dishes. They also have a variety of other Asian dishes, along with many daily specials. The place is very clean and the service is quick and friendly. If you are looking for something fancy, i wouldn't recommend this place. But something good and quick, this is definitely the place to go. Will definitely be returning to try the other items.

This restaurant is a gem so close to home. It’s our family’s go-to restaurant for authentic Cantonese food from Hong Kong, we go there at least once a week! Our favourites include Hainan Chicken Rice, Hungarian spicy tomato beef stew ( I know, Cantonese version 😆), stir fried ho fan (flat noodles) with beef, beef satay noodle soup, their crispy noodles are also very good. We also love their congees. The HK milk tea hits the spot with a good balance of milk & tea, nice and hot! Today we had the chicken rice, beef flat noodles & milk tea. The venue is bright and clean, and the staff very friendly and efficient, we always feel welcome here. Thank you guys, keep up the good work!

We moved close to the location on 149 St a couple years ago, and this Rice Bowl Deluxe has become our go to restaurant. We love the HK Menu, so many items are so excellent! And the HK milk tea today was perfect 👍🏻👍🏻 Hot, good balance of tea & milk, soooo good. Today we had the Hungarian Spicy Tomato Beef Stew and the Singapore Noodles. They were so fresh and well seasoned, just right. Sorry we couldn’t wait to have some of the noodles before taking the picture! The staff there Theo, Kenneth and Lamma are very friendly and provided excellent service, they made us feel at home. The venue is always bright and clean. Thank you everyone for an excellent job! 👍🏻😃

I have been a customer of this location for many years. I think that there was a change of ownership bc their food quality has gone down and they give you less food per dish. There was also a hair in my hainanese chicken and they charge for extra sauce (before they gave you two types of sauces and now it’s only the ginger sauce, and if you ask for more they charge you $1 plus tax). Update: Thank you for your response. I did not tell the employee working there so I did not get a free meal. At this point I had made the decision to write the review to effectively bring attention to the matter as this issue had happened to us previously. I attended your location in March of this year with my family and there was a hair in one of our dishes and I notified an employee who then took it off the bill. With regards to the sauces, it was nice to get two types and a free refill on a $18 meal in the past but I understand that you have changed your policy. We were regulars previously and the regular employee at that time may have given us extra sauce as service.

Hanjan Oliver is a popular Korean restaurant located in Edmonton, known for its cozy atmosphere and top-notch Korean comfort food. The restaurant is run by a mother-son duo and has outlets in three different neighborhoods, making it easily accessible to residents across the city. The menu features a wide range of dishes including Udon Noodles, Korean Fried Chicken, and Bibimbap. Customers can also enjoy happy hour specials and delicious desserts like the highly recommended honey butter bread.
I love everything about this restaurant! Parking was easy despite being central. The menus are beautiful and easy to understand with large photos and all the allergy information I needed. Staff came instantly after pressing the call button. And the food! Excellent presentation, very fresh, piping hot, and most importantly, DELICIOUS!! I don't dine out much since I have three little ones but I had a great time here. My kids loved the french fries, fried chicken, and ice tea. This was easily my favourite dining out experience in the last year. It took a blah day and made it a happy one.

First time ordering here and honestly, never again. I was worried the portions would be stingy, so instead of doing half-half like most Korean chicken places offer, I ordered two full dishes. Big mistake. This place is a total rip-off. Not only are the prices ridiculous, but the portions are a joke. I got boneless Korean fried chicken in two separate flavors — Yangnyeom and Soy Garlic — and paid an extra $2.30 per flavor. You’d think for that price, they’d at least give a decent amount. Nope. What we got was pathetic. No sides at all — not even the usual tiny pickled radish every decent Korean chicken spot gives for free. And the chicken? Tiny, dry pieces the size of my thumb. Barely any in the box. I dropped over $50 with tip for this garbage, and it wasn’t even close to worth it. Total scam. Don’t waste your time or money here — this restaurant is trash.
Ly P — Google review
I've always wanted to go to Hanjan but never had the time to visit for months. Now the stars had finally aligned and we came here right after an Oiler's watchparty. We arrived right before other people filled up the place so it was a little busy. I'm surprised at how much space and seating they have. At first I just saw 4 person tables but they led us to the other area where they had large tables for bigger parties. We had 9 people in our party and they seated us immediately. My boyfriend and I split the Bulgogi Fries and the Padak (Soy Garlic) Korean Fried Chicken. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. After one bite of the Bulgogi Fries, it was an immediate 10/10. The fries were crispy and had the perfect golden crisp + soft inside ratio. And don't even get me started with the sauce on top. The white sauce was light, and had the perfect combination of slightly sweet and savory. It was a wonderful aioli. And the veggies added were so good. The tomatoes and scallions added a nice freshness and slight acidity to the overall dish. Lastly the bulgogi was just *chef's kiss*. I don't really know how else to explain it other than the Bulgogi Fries were a well-balanced dish. We were scooping every single missed vegetable in the sauce after we demolished the fries. The Padak (Soy Garlic) fried chicken was so tasty. Whenever I get wings, my go-to is pretty much anything soy garlic, or anything included garlic. The fried chicken skin was the best part. Great texture, crunchy, crispy, wonderful flavor. It was a great blend of savory, umami, and garlic. And the green onions on top was a great addition. Portion size for both things we ordered was perfect for the two of us. Also, don't even get me started on the banchans. Great kimchi, radish kimchi was so refreshing, and that mashed potato side? Terrific. We asked for more banchan when we were done. Lastly, we came back the very next day to try the desserts. At first, I wanted to pick one dessert to share between me and my boyfriend but it was so difficult to choose one. So we got both lol. We ordered the Injeolmie Waffle, Honey Butter Bread, and tried some of my cousin's Strawberry Bingsu. The Injeolmi Waffle itself was delicious, sweet but not too sweet. The ice cream added that sweetness and the almonds on top were nice. And the Honey Butter Bread? Wow. The milk bread and the fresh whipped cream were fluffy, light, and not too sweet. I would go back again in a heartbeat. If I was in the neighborhood, I would be a regular. And when I give a place 5 stars, 5 stars to me means: take my money and I might dangerously spend too much of my paycheck here. Which is what I did, but no regrets. I will not stop talking about this place. 10's all across the board for me! Love you Hanjan.

We came here for a birthday gathering during the week. We made a reservation, but it wasn’t needed as it wasn’t that busy. I had a wonderful meal there with a friend; we ordered so much food to share (panjeon, tteokbeokki, kimchi jjigae, and bebimbap, plus mango binsu for dessert) and all of it was delicious and warming on a chilly autumn evening, with gorgeous presentation. The service was excellent, and we spent several hours there enjoying the experience. I've tried a few Korean places in the city, but this was by far my favourite.

Ambiance and overall vibe 10/10 Food 10/10 came out quick and fresh and chickens and beef were cooked to perfection- juicy and tender! Came with 3 rice bowls too. I’d wish for more mozzarella & rice cakes on their assorted mozzarella dish but that’s okay! It was still great! THEIR BULGOLGI TACOS ARE TO DIE FOR THO!! 10000/10!! Must try & order 2.

I had such a great experience at Hanjan South! The atmosphere is vibrant and cozy, perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. The food was absolutely delicious—everything from the Korean fried chicken to the hot stone bibimbap was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. I especially loved the little details like the side dishes and the overall presentation. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Edmonton for Korean food. Highly recommend!

I ordered a dish that I order at the downtown location. “Cheese Buldak. “The menu States” stir-fry chicken”. The dish came with cartilage, skin and fat bits. I think we found three small bits of chicken . I have Korean friends & my kids cook terrific Korean food. This one was quite frankly disgusting. The server even said that it didn’t look right and he wouldn’t eat it, but when he went to the kitchen, apparently the cook said this is how it is served. A quick AI search indicated it absolutely is not served this way. I’ve enjoyed this dish a few times before at the downtown location and it’s never been like this. It’s been a few days, I was told the owner would call me, but I have not heard anything yet. The Overall flavour of the dish was great, however for $24, I would expect chicken and not cartilage and fat and skin .The eggplant Dish was terrific and the soup was also on point.

Hanjan has always been a staple for us. The food is something we can count on being consistently good. We've especially loved the Bulgogi Fries, but lately it feels like they’ve been cutting back. Each time we order it, there seems to be less beef, fewer toppings, and not nearly as much sauce. As for service, I don’t usually expect much since it’s button-style. They only come when you call, which I actually prefer. But on my last visit, I paid with cash and the server just took the money and walked away without saying a word. No thank you, no have a nice day, no acknowledgment at all. I still enjoy the food and will likely be back, but I hope they address the basic courtesy in service.

Oh my God. Amazing food, fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive, very friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing time. Sam, the manager/owner and your staff (Michael and James), you guys are providing amazing service. Will be back ten thousand times.

This place used to be my go to lunch/dinner spot. They always provide great service and great food, but lately it has been lacking on the food part. The prices are way too high and the food portion and quality has gotten way lower than before. I bought the samkyupsal (pork belly) for $23 and received what looks like left over burnt pork. I ate 5 pieces of pork ( had to add salt to cover the burnt taste) and put the rest for to go.The only thing I enjoyed were the side dishes.

Hanjan offers a trendy, modern take on traditional Korean cuisine. The atmosphere is lively and stylish, making it a great spot for dinner with friends or a casual night out. The menu has a nice variety, from classic dishes like bulgogi and bibimbap to shareable plates like Korean fried chicken and hot stone bowls. The food is flavorful and well presented, with good portion sizes for the price. Side dishes are a nice touch. Service is generally attentive, but it can get a bit slow during peak hours. The staff are friendly, though it sometimes feels like they’re juggling too many tables at once. Overall, Hanjan is a solid choice if you’re craving Korean food in a vibrant setting.

One of the few places in the south side that's open late, which is much appreciated! On top of that the food is always reliably good and the staff are polite and professional even when things get hectic– as they often do considering they also have karaoke rooms here.

Korean Grill is a delightful casual eatery nestled in a strip mall, offering an authentic taste of Korea right in Edmonton. This family-owned gem has been serving up traditional dishes for over a decade, specializing in hearty hot pots, flavorful BBQ, and comforting noodles that cater to every palate. With both indoor and outdoor seating options available, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy your meal while soaking up the sunshine.
The three of us came here for dinner on a week night. There are so many houses on the menu we wanted to try many things. We had a bulgogi soup, stone b-bim-bap, spicy stir fried rice cake and deep fried chicken. Personally liked the stir fried rice cake and chicken best. They can get quite busy so definitely recommend reserving a table if you are planning to go there.

I only order here for takeouts. Their fried chicken is not as tasty as the chickens from Wing Chix who used to occupy this same location way back… But they still decent imo.

So unprofessional host at the front door. I am pregnant and I wanted to use the restroom but he refused right at the door. Never expected this behaviour at the Korean restaurant would never and ever recommend this place.
Snehpreet B — Google review
Solid Korean restaurant. The fried chicken was served crunchy and smothered in sauce (a good balance!). Naengmyeon cold noodles has a great chew, with tangy vinegar/radish soup served as slush on the side to keep it refreshing and from bloating. Service did take a little bit even though it was quite empty but it’s ok because we were there to catch up. Seems relatively chill. The uncle was in no hurry to clean up dishes from other tables. Would come back again for sure, but will plan to stay a while!

The host guy at the front door refused my pregnant wife to use the washroom. We requested politely but he told us to get out. Such a rubbish behaviour at Korean restaurant.

DELICIOUS food, HEARTY portions! This is my new favorite Korean restaurant in Edmonton. Fried Chicken - Every restaurant has their own style. For me, their style is by far the best Korean Fried chicken in town. Crispy enough, not oily, big portion, and most importantly, has flavor! I recommend trying the original with sweet & sauce on the side. You get best of both worlds. Seafood Pancake - Lots of fillings and puffy so, fills you up pretty quick so watch out. Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup - Again, follows the trend of hearty portions. Spicy and delicious! Liberally had seafood in every bite. When I try this dish at other restaurants, I find more veggies than meat. Here, it's the opposite. This should be made a standard. Their service, even for pickup, is great. I can't wait for dine-in to open up again so I can try the rest of their menu.

Gangnam Street Food at K-mall in Southside Edmonton is a delightful addition to the area's culinary scene. The eatery offers a variety of Korean street food, from the satisfying Bulgogi Ricebowl to the spicy Cheed Ddukbokki. The vibrant atmosphere and accommodating staff make it a great spot for a quick and budget-friendly Korean bite. Visitors can also enjoy tasty treats like seasoned fries with cheese flavoring and massive B2 sausage mozza corn dogs.
Love this place! I love supporting local so I had to try out this place. I admit I’ve only had the corn dogs but they are REALLY good and an incredible value. Service is friendly & fast. Restaurant looks very clean. (The term “corn dog” is deceiving because we in North America have been so acclimatized to disgusting, sub-par fast food. These are large, freshly breaded with actual breading & flakes not some homogenous sludge like the kind you’d get from 7-11 and the rest. The one photographed is very large and only $6.50, and the quality is on par with the ones they charge like $20 USD for at Disneyland.)

Gangbam Street Food offers a decent experience overall. The food is okay, not amazing, but satisfying enough if you’re craving Korean street eats. The selection is actually quite good, with a nice variety of items to choose from, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, the service really needs improvement. The girl at the front counter looked visibly annoyed and lacked any patience when taking our order. It made the whole interaction uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A smile or even just basic courtesy would go a long way in improving the customer experience. We might return for the food variety, but definitely hope the staff can be a bit more approachable and professional in the future.

This Korean corndog was my first ever and it was enjoyable. Honestly, it’s not what I was expecting but regardless I enjoyed it. The outside was crispy and the inside was filled with a sauce. I believe it was cheese. The service was good but the place was quiet outside of the music being played. I will be visiting again to try the ramen Korean corndog.
Juani T — Google review
Great food. The sweet cream chicken was incredible. Highly recommend. Service was meh, especially for first time visitors who dont know the intricacies of the place (grabbing utensils in the corner, bringing food up for extra sauces on the counter) Still highly recommend and will be back.

I ordered kimbap and ramen, but they gave us tteokbokki and assorted deep-fried items instead. Before we started eating, we informed the lady working there, but she insisted we had ordered "Combo A." I never even mentioned anything about a combo — I clearly said ramen and kimbap. Despite trying to explain, she ignored us. We still tried to eat the food so it wouldn’t go to waste, but we couldn’t finish it. Very disappointed with the service and how the situation was handled.

First time visiting. We both ordered the Sausage Mozza Corndog with some Gangnam Fries on the side. Everything came out hot and fresh. The batter they use on the corndog is so good; it's pillowy soft and delicious. They also have a decent assortment of sauces you can drizzle on like creamy sweet, spicy mayo, soy garlic, honey mustard, etc. The Gangnam Fries come with shoestring-style fries, beef bulgogi, sautéed kimchi, melted cheese, and their spicy mayo sauce. And I ordered the milk coffee bubble tea to go which had a nice balance between strong coffee flavour and a sweet taste. I found the prices here to be very reasonable too. Overall everything was very good and I would come back again for sure.

Tried the seasoned fries with swing cheese flavouring. It's pretty good. Also tried the B2 sausage mozza corn dog. Very good. It's massive and super hot on the inside. Have to eat with a fork. We liked the self serve water station with hot and cold water.

SANG - Seoul Table Dining is a new addition to the dining scene in Edmonton, offering a modern yet authentic take on Korean BBQ. The restaurant provides private dining options, making it a great choice for special occasions like birthdays. Visitors have praised the excellent food, particularly highlighting the grilled mackerel and flavorful side dishes. The attentive service also received positive feedback, with the assistant manager going above and beyond to ensure a satisfying experience.
The food is amazing, especially their side dish in the platter set. I like the fried eggplant the most, flavorful and crispy. A little bit thing is I ordered a beef rib platter when it came, it was not that warm. If it's warmer would be perfect. If you come after 6 pm, there is a parking lot at the back of the restaurant, underground on 1 floor, just press the button to call before getting in.
Phitchaya P — Google review
This is the fourth time I have visited this restaurant, and each time it has had a very different menu. I must say though, while I've never been impressed with it before, this was my favourite iteration of their menu. What annoyed me the most previously was that they would do a set table style of menu where you got a bunch of different dishes, but half of them were things you weren't interested in. Now, with the all-you-can-eat menu, you get complete control over what you eat, and it's a much more satisfying way to spend (a lot of) your money. I particularly enjoyed the grilled mussels, torched salmon rolls, and fried chicken. There are two menu options, with the priciest giving access to everything, and the cheaper one removing the sushi and Korean BBQ options. But even without those, there is still plenty of good food, with access to the daily sushi rolls, chicken wings, and more, so you won't be missing out on as much as you think!

An amazing experience from start to finish. I went on a Tuesday night and got their Chef’s Table special (only available on Tuesday) where you select a main dish and it comes with a variety of sides starting at $34.50 instead of the usual $49 (30% off). The food arrived in a separate large tray which they will slide over the table you have which was a unique experience. I got the grilled doenjang chicken which was the true star of the table for me as it soft, juicy and has a nice fragrant aroma and taste from the doenjang (Korean soybean paste) marinade used. The assortment of side dishes was delicious, tasty and fresh where my favorites were the smashed potatoes, Korean pancake and japchae. The sides of kimchi, tomato kimchi and pickled daikon had unlimited refills so you can eat to your hearts content. Overall, I recommend this place for the quality of the food, amazing staff and modern décor!

Had the Chef’s Table at Sang in Edmonton and it was amazing. The braised short rib was incredibly tender and the grilled pork belly was perfectly crispy and juicy. The wide selection of side dishes was also excellent each one was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Incredible food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Ryann B — Google review
Went here to experience the “Chef’s Table” and spent between $53-57/person. The starting price is $49 but almost all the meat items include an additional cost. The meal came with 10 sides which tasted ok. Overall nothing really stood out. Everything tasted subpar, edible (mostly) but nothing I would ever buy again. I was a bit disappointed because I paid the additional cost for the pork belly and a lot of it was burnt and inedible. At first when I ate it, I thought it was a one off but, the more I ate, the more I would notice how burnt it tasted. I realized after that the burnt sides were hidden face down. For the price I paid I expected better.

Great place. Service is fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable and suggestive if you are new to Korean food. Chefs Table is the best deal to get as you get to try most of the menu. Not a bad dish in the group. Buldak is good and spicy. Smashed potatoes are amazing.

Buok Fresh Korean Kitchen is a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine that beautifully marries flavor and nutrition. The menu features beloved classics like Bibimbap, which combines rice with an array of fresh vegetables, meats, tofu, and tantalizing sauces such as gochujang or bulgogi.
We had the holiday feast plus the classic ddokbokki and everything was so tasty! You get to choose your protein for the kimchi fried rice, japchae noodles, and bibimbap. We tried beef, chicken and pork and while everything was good, our family liked the beef the best! Very generous portions, and even my husband who isn’t normally much of a kimchi fan loved the kimchi fried rice! The staff were so kind and friendly, this is a fantastic local business!

The food was ok . I went to some other Korean restaurants before and naturally I made comparison . I ordered from their special buy one get second small plate for 50% and they didn’t honour that and failed to get the second item , I had to re- buy it . I orders tofu veg soupe , even after adding kimchi and all sort of veg it kind of tasted flat . That was my favourite dish in other Korean restaurant. I would say the place is average , ok not wow .

Walking distance from Flixbus terminal Jasper Ave. I finished the bulgogi bibimbap to the last morsel. Nice to have brown rice option. Rice and veggie portion were balanced and food tasty but not too salty. Fried egg on top made the bibimbap extra delectable. 😚👌Pork dimsum was good too. My cousin enjoyed the black bean noodle. Brownie was a little too sweet. Staff was efficient and attentive for additional orders. Nice touch on lemon water. All in all, great experience and relief from long tiring travel.

My favorite dish the shrimp avocado salad. The dressing was tasty ( with sesame seeds mixed sweet and sour). The soups was typical Korean style. I like my beef soup, meat portion was good, with noodle and rice. The waitress was very friendly and chatted with us.

One of the better naengmyeon I have had in Edmonton (presentation better with some veggies inside). The fried chicken wings were the highlight - exceptionally crispy exterior and very well seasoned (so good I wish I had ordered more!) Friend had their seolleongtang which they said was more well seasoned than average, but still wished there was still some more beef boney kick to it. Quiet ambience very comfortable to dine in. Overall, another good choice for Korean food in Edmonton :)

I have tried kimchi jjigae in Toronto, Banff, Calgary and Vancouver but ma chef has the best in my opinion. The kimchi has been fermented and tasted very authentic similar to true korean stew. The chef's cooking technique is impressive too, he removes a layer of oil that gathers at the top of kimchi jjigae. He is very detail oriented with his cooking, he has a culinary background.

Ma Chef is one of those places that look like any ordinary place from the outside, but the food they serve here is so delicious, and very decently priced that I for sure have to come back here. Another amazing gem we found on Google! We live in the West end of Edmonton, and there's so many great finds lately, and this is for sure one of them. It was a little bit of a drive but definitely worth it. Really delicious and authentic Korean food with an artistic flair. The flavors were fresh and unique. It's too bad we only tried the lunch menu, but it was a great place to start. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the dinner menu. I had the pork rice bowl and my fiance had the bulgogi bowl and we ordered a spicy chicken noodle soup as well. We also had a hazelnut coffee which was delicious. The service was fast and attentive. I liked the convenience of ordering at the table with a tablet! Fyi the staff still needs to bring you a card reader to pay (you don't pay with the tablet at your table). We went for lunch and ordered the $15 specials (so good!!). They were really fast too: I think we ordered and had out food 10-15 minutes later There are vegan and gluten free menus as well! It's a big restaurant too! It would work well for booking a big group. Smells amazing in there too lol.

The restaurant looks nice, each table has iPad to easily place to order. My favorite dishes are pork ribs and prawns. The ribs were so juicy, soft and flavorful, my kids love the ribs so much. The prawns only had 6 pieces, very yummy. The kimchi fries were also good, the kimchi is not spicy at all. We also ordered two pot. One pork belly and another one was bulgogi beef, the portion of meat is not big. Especially the pork belly had kimchi and soybean sprout inside the pot, the pork belly is not much. I won’t order this dish again because it cost $56. Each pot comes with 2 rices and lettuce. Overall, we will order the pork ribs again. Go there if you are not very hungry.

I tried Won Jung Gak a while back. I think the quality and quantity of their dishes are quite nice. In terms of Korean food, I think they are a bit on the spicier side for Korean restaurants in Edmonton - I definitely had the one of the spiciest Gam Ja Tang there
Andy L — Google review
This restaurant is undoubtedly one of my favorites (among all cuisines) in Edmonton. It is hearty and authentic Korean food (though in Korea it would be considered Korean-Chinese food) - nothing like the flavorless “chic” Korean restaurants that have sprung up in years past. If you love EATING food rather than just looking at it and taking pictures, it behooves you to come here at least a few times to explore the menu. People who prefer bland food should beware, every dish here will have intense and deep flavors. As for the menu, my wife and I consistently have: galbi beef, pork bone soup, jjajangmyeon, spicy seafood soup (pictured), japchae, spicy pork stir fry, deep fried chicken (pictured), and ddeokbokki (pictured). Side of rice goes well with the saucy deep fried chicken. As expected, food here is best shared family style. Otherwise, the restaurant is medium sized and I have not had to wait for a table in recent memory. I have no complaints with the service. Food comes out without any sense of prolonged delay. Prices are less than expected for the large portion sizes.

Big portion. Deep fried chicken taste sweet and garlic but not too spicy. My fab so far. Squid stir fry was meh. Not impressed. Less than 10 pieces squid in the whole dish... bibimbap has too much rice less veggies, but taste ok. Overall not bad but not great like before...

Delicious! It's our second time here and we love the food so much. Even my picky 4 year old mentioned how delicious his shrimp tempura was. Generous portions at the right price! And the service was great as well.

The food was pretty good. I went back to try the King's Galbi. OMG it was good! The beef was so tender. It like melts in your mouth.

Very good food, you can order from the menu and be served quickly or enjoy the buffet. Service was promp and friendly, I will go here again!

We loved our time living in Korea. But the thing we missed the most was the food. It’s hard to find authentic and high quality Korean food in Edmonton at a reasonable place. I tried this restaurant for the first time today and had the dolsot bi-bin-bop and it was phenomenal. Great food, staff and prices are decent. I’ll be back.
Chad G — Google review
The service was terrible, the food was far from the real Korean food , the tips was added in advance so beware not to tip twice like I did ..
Rudy S — Google review
This is one of the longest standing Korean eateries in the city having been in the same location for over 30 years. Unfortunately they no longer serve top quality Japanese food anymore. Their Korean dishes are still quite tasty but lean towards the expensive end. Service is friendly but a bit on the inadequate side due to shortage of staff. I am a little disappointed with the way they charge for many of their menu items as "market priced" which should normally only apply to food like live seafood or seasonal items

Nestled in a cozy plaza just off Calgary Trail, Rock'N Tofu is a hidden gem that specializes in two standout dishes: Tofu Stew and Dolsot, or hot stone rice bowls. Diners can enjoy these delectable offerings individually or opt for various combo meals priced between $30 and $34. The restaurant is known for its incredible side dishes, which enhance the dining experience significantly.
Feast Mode On: This place dishes out mega tasty food in huge helpings! The team is super attentive, smiling their way through the night. Plus, the appetizer lineup? Amazing. It’s like a tasty sneak peek that totally sets the stage. Big flavors, big smiles! A yummy experience from start to finish!
Molly C — Google review
Compared to other Korean restaurants, this place serves various side dishes with mainly tofu soup. All was tasty. Also, I really liked that they have a hot stone bowl rice soup. Just one thing I was a bit disappointed was there's no veggies in the tofu soup. For example If there was like green onions, It might looked way better than the photo I took. It doesn't mean the taste was not good but decent. This place was overall very good and amazing.

Went in for lunch on a Friday and everything was awesome! We were seated immediately, food came quick, and the server was attentive throughout the entire meal. The quality of the food is fantastic, the amount of banchan is the most I’ve ever seen, everything we had was tasty - the pork was so tender and the crab was perfectly marinated. This is the first place we’ve seen serve side rice in stone bowls and then make table side nurungji. We definitely will be back!
Katie L — Google review
the food was okay, it was Hot, a lot of side dish, the fried fish was perfect. Its my first time to dine here. The kimchi was awesome.. the soup that i order has more tofu to pork ratio, the aroma was enticing but the taste was subpar it can have room for improvement. I enjoyed their tonkasu as well. The rice smells fabulous as they serve it with a hot stone bowl in front of us. Service was fast and fantastic served us with a smile from begining till the end.👍👍👍 As for the atmosphere it was cosy as you can say its more of a korean family restaurant.

I went to Rock n’ Tofu to celebrate my aunt’s birthday for a party of 3. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere! I would highly recommend anyone checking out this place. The food was prepared to perfection, and the portions and side dishes were very generous. We ordered the BBQ bulgogi bowl combo, BBQ spicy pork combo, and pork katsu. Service was very efficient and friendly and also asked about allergies, which was appreciated. Overall, a solid first experience at Rock n’ Tofu. Would definitely come back again with family, friends, or by myself.

Amazing food. Well worth the price. The tofu soup is fantastic. We had the bibimbap and BBQ chicken combination dishes and they were both great. Not too spicy either. All the sides paired well with everything. Very tasty food. Will for sure be coming back.

AMAZING SIDE DISHES! from the photo alone, you can see that we were served a couple of side dishes (not counting the calamari and small bulgogi on the side) the parents definitely loved the fish they gave to us! The hot stone soup is flavorful and comforting, we ordered Gop Chang (beef small intestine) and Fish Roe Soon Tofu Soup... Both are pretty flavorful and offers a unique taste and experience to our taste buds; and the hot stone rice is outstanding and delightful dining experience for a restaurant. The combination of these two dishes creates a delightful dining experience

Came here on a Thursday night at 6:30PM and it wasn't too busy for a table of 2. We came here as we saw on IG that they had raw marinated crabs. Unfortunately they were out of the soy and only had the spicy available, which we had 1 order of and it was delicious! This place doesn't play around with their banchan game. Our meal came with 6 of the standard stuff (which were refillable) + a fried fish. I really liked how our servers, Eric and Grace, were super attentive and checked in on us throughout our meal to ensure we had enough banchans and everything we needed. To end things off, they served us a cup of chilled sikhye (Korean Sweet Rice Punch). First time ever having this and it was a great way to end the meal! Highly recommend and would come back again! Thank you Eric and Grace for the great service and the extra sikhye.

IL Poom Korean Restaurant, also known as 일품 한식당, has quickly become a popular destination for authentic Korean cuisine. The cozy spot offers a diverse menu featuring grilled meats, soups, stews, sides, cold noodles, and shareable hot pot options. Diners have praised the delicious beef bone hotpot soup and the tenderness of the brisket, tendon, and flank. The clear broth in the steamed meat salad was a delightful complement to the meal.
This is a great Korean food spot. Authentic Korean food and super flavorful. We got cold noodles combo which also comes with bbq pork. Pork was super tender and delicious. Also the tofu stew was not too spicy but still hit the spot. Also recommend trying their seafood pancake. Service was 10/10 and we are happy to have found this place. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience dining at this Korean restaurant in Edmonton! The food was incredibly delicious and tasted just like what you’d find in Korea. Every dish was full of flavor—especially the kimchi stew and bulgogi, which were perfectly seasoned and served piping hot. The side dishes were generous and traditional, and the service was warm and friendly. You can really tell they put a lot of care into preparing authentic meals. Highly recommended for anyone craving a genuine Korean dining experience in the city!

One of the best Korean Restaurant so far, very clean place, the furniture and equipment imported from Korea, and very authentic place. Food was delicious and affordable. Free side dishes and complimentary tea. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Def coming back to try more food.
Jeanny N — Google review
Our new favourite Korean restaurant. The food is great. We ordered our regular Korean dishes, they were excellent. We loved their side dishes too, always so fresh and tasty. Their rice is not the traditional white rice in other Korean restaurants, they serve with healthy choice of rice. They are busy during the weekends and Friday evening, usually two servers. It would be better if they have one extra server. For our last 3 visits, we needed to wait for a while before we could get the server’s attention for water refill, tea refill, napkins. They were a busy.
Nicole Y — Google review
Every dishes we ordered here tasted sooo good, reminded us of the food we had in Korea last year 🥹. The waitress was also very attentive and provided top notched service. Even my toddler gave thumb up for the purple rice. My brother said he would eat here everyday if he lived in Edmonton.

I went there for brunch on Sunday at 11am and I was the only one there as they had just opened; I was greeted by Mon-kyung who was super kind and friendly and welcoming. Upon being seated I was given the menu and was asked if there was anything in particular I wanted to try (she made nice recommendations for my boyfriend who wanted a meaty soup) and we ended up getting two soups (I got bone broth soup, my boyfriend got meat soup) and we shared a seafood pancake. The side dishes were absolutely amazing and it made me excited to try the food as I usually know the quality of the restaurant by their kimchi and it did not disappoint! The soups were amazing; the meat was so tender and it say in a rich and flavourful broth and the seafood pancake was absolutely delicious with the crispy edges and the soft centre and perfectly cooked green onions and seafood mix. Overall the experience was very pleasant and I asked her if they did bbq and she said not on the tables they do it themselves in the kitchen and bring it out cooked but as I was leaving she told me they will start doing table bbq starting next week so I will definitely be coming back and I look forward to trying their bbq!

So glad we found this gem in Edmonton this spring break! The restaurant is only a year and half old, feels like we need to support small business, especially at this difficult time. The food was so delicious, not greasy at all. The homemade kimchi is by far the best we had. Too bad we can’t bring some home. Highly recommend!!!

Have always passed by Parsons Road and wanted to try this Korean restaurant. We came on Victoria Day and it was quite busy. Came with two friends and we ordered a pork knuckle (Jokbal), LA Galbi and cold buckwheat noodles combo, and a tteok dumpling soup. Food was delicious, portion is generous and serving speed was fast. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends!

Jung Korean Restaurant, also known as 정식당, is a popular spot for groups looking to enjoy a satisfying meal. The set menus offer a wide selection of meats and side dishes, making it an ideal choice for lunch or dinner. While the prices may be on the higher side, the generous portions make it worth it. Customers have praised the cleanliness of the restaurant and its pleasant ambiance. The servers are friendly and provide great service, adding to the overall dining experience.
The music was a bit too loud otherwise it was a lovely restaurant! The staff was efficient and friendly. The food was good despite being a bit pricey for the portions. It was an ok overall experience that day. I would come back for their lunch specials during the work week.

We were visiting Edmonton with family and discovered this incredible “gem” of a Korean restaurant off 34th Ave in the south … the food was exceptional ….,it was flavourful, and perfectly spicy! To start we had the crispy chicken …it was simply amazing… lightly battered and covered in a delicious sauce…so good!!! Then we had the beef and tofu noodle soup: it was awesome ….one of the best I’ve ever had!!! I would recommend that you plan a visit and try it yourself … you won’t be disappointed ….

Visit: June 2025 Came with my family and the food was pretty good! Had the cheese chicken, while my other family had the seafood soup and pork bone soup. The cheese chicken was spicy and had a good balance between chicken, cabbage/vegetables, and tteok-bokki. The soups were packed with flavour and the pork bone soup had a large piece of pork (on the bone). Overall the food was good, though a bit pricey. The music was a bit loud but otherwise, loved how clean and aesthetic the restaurant was. Staff was nice as well!

I came to Jung for dinner a few months ago. The restaurant had a really good vibe and the servers weren’t afraid to talk/share their opinions. In terms of food, I tried their Seafood Pancake and Combo for 4 with Tangsuyuk, Tofu Soup, and Shredded Beef Soup. All of the items tasted good. The combo for 4 actually had quite a bit of food where it might be enough for 5 people. All the BBQ meats turned out really good and the Pork Jowl stood out the most. Both the Tofu Soup and Shredded beef soup were nice as well. Overall, I’d give them 8.3/10
Andy L — Google review
Tried for the first time. It is on the higher end price wise but it was worth it. The meat tasted fresh and the side dishes were well seasoned. The meat did look and taste good. And the portion size was great. Dinner for two is a good value. Very filling. The staff also recognizes when your grill is too low in heat and come by to fix every once in a while. The do also remove plates at a good pace. Bathrooms were also pretty clean.
Martin L — Google review
Not too bad. Good food, place is very clean and the grills are nice. A bit on the pricey side but servings are plenty when we went for 2 people. Lots of side dishes too! Squid side dish is the only one you can’t refill which makes sense since squid is expensive. The lettuce I was surprised you can only refill once. We made it work but it’s something to keep in mind when you go the first time or with more people. Corn cheese was delicious 👌🏽 Service was great when we went in during lunch/opening!
Path2discover — Google review
So good! You could taste the quality of meat here and honestly, a great quantity too. We ordered a combo for 3 for our table of 4, with 1 addition of a seafood pancake. Ended the meal stuffed, with more to bring home for leftovers. A variety of banchan to choose from, and well balanced choices between proteins.

Nestled in the university area of Edmonton, Gaya Korean Restaurant is a charming little spot that serves up authentic Korean cuisine in a cozy and unpretentious setting. This family-run establishment on 87 Avenue offers a delightful menu featuring everything from savory noodles to hearty stews. During my visit, I indulged in their Shrimp Fried Rice, Gaya Squid—tender squid tossed with vegetables in a spicy house sauce—and Fish Cake Soup, which was comforting and flavorful.
We had dinner at this cute little Gaya Korean Restaurant and ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Gaya Squid (squid with vegetables in a house special's spicy sauce on rice), Fish Cake Soup (Korean soup with fish cake, rice cakes, egg, green onions served with rice) and Chicken Teriyaki (house seasoning marinated chicken with vegetables on rice). Everything tasted delicious and appetizing! They were very generous with their side dishes too and we enjoyed all the Spicy Kimchi and Bean Sprouts that we can eat. Staff were really nice and friendly. It’s sad to know that they will be retiring and closing their business soon. We wish them all the best!

This little Korean restaurant in the university area of Edmonton serves up delicious food for those that are seeking authentic fare. Gaya Korean Restaurant is a family run establishment on 87 Avenue. Their service is extremely friend and helpful. The space itself is a wee space with just a few tables and chairs. It's a very simple setup. The food was delicious. It's a smaller menu than some of the more established Korean restaurants in town. But what they do offer is wonderful! 4 x 🍛🍛🍛🍛

Great Korean place in University area, unassuming but charming, small but cozy and food is quite tasty! Comes out very quick so an awesome place if you are in a bit of a hurry or looking for a fast bite. Staff is super funny and energetic and knows how to please! Good place I finally managed to get into and enjoyed a great meal! Highly recommend!
Christopher S — Google review
One of my favourite small, family run businesses in Edmonton! Food is authentic, delicious, consistent, fresh, healthy and affordable. My go to is the bul go gi stew, add soft tofu. It’s hearty, flavourful and perfect during the winter months. It really is a hug in a bowl, a very hot bowl. Their army stew is also delicious. I’ve tried most things in their menu over the years, and really you can’t go wrong with anything you order. Unless you don’t have a high spice tolerance, like me, then ask for recommendations. Portions are generous and filling, quality is consistent. Service is prompt, sweet and sincere. The place is clean, well kept, and a bit of personality. There are no restrooms in the restaurant itself, but you can use the restrooms in the hotel attached, which is very clean and with plenty of stalls. There are only about 6 tables for an intimate vibe, but they’ve also mastered take out options. This is a hidden gem in my opinion, and underrated for fantastic, authentic Korean cuisine.

Wow! If you work at the hospital try this. Service was very friendly and quick, I made it back to work with time to spare. The bibimbap tasted very fresh and homemade, and the price was very reasonable for the portion size. You can adjust the spice because the sauce is on the side. If you haven't tried this place yet, this is your sign to go now!

You want to know what perfection looks like? Just take a look at this picture. Food is perfectly portioned and the presentation is beautiful. Been coming here for over 8 years, and every single experience is amazing. The best part about this restaurant is the friendly staff that will ensure your experience is 5 stars every time. Fast service, excellent food, and authentic as you can get.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than Cupbap, where Korean fried chicken reigns supreme. This eatery is known for its perfectly cooked dishes that never fail to impress. Whether you opt for their lunch specials or classic favorites, each bite promises an explosion of flavors.
Wow. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here :) Originally planned to eat at the Mexican place next door, but I'm so glad I chose to come here instead! Delicious, fresh, and well-seasoned/prepped!

staff is friendly and the store is clean. The Bibimbap is good portion and tastes good! Fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside. It's a bit salty. Good that the fries are not salty.
Elly G — Google review
Amazing Korean food. Fried chicken is cooked to perfection. When the first opened the chicken was big and juicy. However, over time their chicken seemed to have shrunk in size. Food is still cooked to perfection and always taste amazing. Lunch special is a great bargain and value for money. So much fries I can't finish them all.

Cupbap was absolutely amazing! My friends and I ordered the spicy pork cup with an order of the garlic soy chicken and it was so delicious! Mindblowing! You receive a very generous amount for the price. The two gentlemen at the front were very handsome, helpful and answered all our questions. We are definitely coming here again!
Esther C — Google review
The gents at the the counter were super helpful (I'm not that familiar with Korean food) and suggested the spicy pork after explaining all of the options. I added some fried chicken with bulgogi sauce. Both were super tasty, and I noticed they left a flap open on the fried chicken takeaway box to prevent sogginess. Nice touch... We had more than enough food for two people, nice flavours, a little spicy, a little savory, a little sweet. Hit the spot on an otherwise blah rainy day.

Good food and friendly service here. The server had the kitchen make the teok bokki a little less spicy for me. It was delicious. Homemade kimchi in the fridge. Feels like a real mom and pop shop with heart.

I ordered the spicy pork cupbap and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The service was phenomenal and the servers went above and beyond. This gem offers an impressive menu that caters to diverse tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone. The service is exceptional, making your visit even more enjoyable. During my recent visit, I couldn't help but be drawn in by the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen while I was nearby.
This is the Best place to eat on campus. I love their Bibimbap but, recently tried their udon spicy pork noodles and I am hooked. The food is pretty consistent and the portions are generous.
Aysha O — Google review
Not ground breaking, but it's pretty consistent quality and one of the better places to eat on Campus/Hub mall. Had the Bulgogi beef that came with glass noodles and kimchi.
Bobby B — Google review
ordered half bulgogi beef and half spicy prok from the counter area and the portion was ridiculously small, rice, protein hard and dry. The server scooped up around half the spicy pork left on the tray, but decided to remove more from the ladle because he decided to save the rest just enough for one more order of spicy pork; and when I asked if he could add a bit more beef (to compensate for his stingyness of the pork), he was smirking and saying that it was against their policy to give out more than one scoop WHEN IT WASN'T EVEN A WHOLE SCOOP. Honestly, I used to order a lot from them a few years back. but quality of food and service is just getting worse and worse.
Ayako S — Google review
A great place on campus to get a quick bite. Their lunch specials are super tasty ranging from the bulgogi beef to the spicy pork options with lots of sides to choose from. There kitchen option (which only take a couple minutes longer) are also a great choice. I recommend the kimchi fried rice. I load up on the sesame sauce as a must too!

I ordered Pork Bone Stew and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. It was so delicious . Great Service and nice Food. I highly recommend this place.
Josh C — Google review
Best restaurant within HUB Mall. Would typically expect a larger quantity and bigger selection of side dishes to be served to accompany a meal. Furthermore, the quantity of the meal for the price is on the low side. With that being said, the quality of the dishes is pretty good. All of their soups are at least pretty good. Would recommend ordering anything that ISN'T from their buffet/counter area.

Did some door repair recently for these guys and I could not resist the amazing smell while we worked. I went with the Spicy Pork rice bowl and it was so good. Perfectly seasoned and actually spicy! The prices are very fair. I was quite happy with the portion size. The restaurant was very clean and well lit. The staff were all very friendly and service was fast. If you find yourself in the HUB mall at the University, do yourself a favor and stop by.
