Bakery
Patisserie
Duchess Bake Shop is a cozy and stylish bakery located on 124 St. that has gained national and local recognition, being named one of the world's best bakeries by the Globe and Mail and featured on Buzzfeed's list of top bakeries worldwide. The shop offers an extensive selection of beautifully handcrafted traditional French pastries, cakes, pies, and macarons.
One of Edmonton's most beautiful and delicious desserts! The décor is elegant, cozy, and carefully curated with charming details. I've been there twice in the afternoon, the store is spacious, the downside is that there are a lot of people with children, so if you're looking for quiet you might not be very happy. The desserts are exquisite, the macarons are delicate and richly flavored, a denser texture. The matcha latte was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right for me. Whether you're a pastry lover or just looking for a nice cafe to relax in, this place is a must visit. Definitely one of the best desserts I've had in Edmonton.

I ate a delicious peach brioche warmed and espresso. I also got some macrons for the road, they are delicious I enjoyed my visit and plan on making future visits. It got busy while I was there so that's a good sign. 10/10!
Karami C — Google review
Great bake shop located on Edmonton’s trendy 124 Street. The key lime tart is a personal favourite. Very busy on weekends and parking is always a challenge. Make sure you park in legal zones and pay as required because the parking patrol is quite diligent in this area.

This is the bakery I never miss whenever I visit Edmonton. It still amazes me that such an outstanding bakery exists here. The croissants and macarons—if I may exaggerate a little—tasted just like the ones I had in Paris. Truly exceptional.😉 I only wish they would open a location in Toronto as well. I even picked up one of their tote bags and a bakery book during my visit. My only regret is being too busy enjoying the pastries to take more photos!🤗

Amazing! Got some Macarons and Croissants and they were really good. Also really really enjoyed the coffee I got here! Was having some issues booking a taxi and they kindly also let me use the WiFi!

Great local bakery west of Edmonton city centre. They've got an array of lovely baked goods decently priced whether it be cakes, custard, macaroons, etc, they've got it all.

I have participated in a few baking classes and they have been well organized and so fun! Katie is an excellent instructor! We learned so much about chocolate too! Great activity for a celebration or team event.

An Edmonton original in European baking excellence — a true brainchild turned beloved institution. Elegant, warm, and consistently exceptional. Exquisite pastries, beautifully brewed drinks, and friendly staff make Duchess a must-visit, time and again. For a closer look — A beloved Edmonton bakery and café I’ve returned to for years, Duchess Bake Shop embodies the art and precision of world-class patisserie. Founder-owned and operated by passionate people who clearly love their craft, their dedication shows in every detail — from the flakiest croissants, delicious macarons, to the most beautifully balanced seasonal tarts. Every visit reaffirms why Duchess remains at the heart of Edmonton’s culinary scene: consistently exquisite quality, genuine hospitality, and a timeless sense of charm. The bright, airy interior feels both refined and warm, and the service strikes that perfect balance of professional and personable. You can even take a piece of the experience home — literally — with their Duchess Bake Shop Cookbook, a wonderful way to recreate the magic (just be sure to use the finest ingredients to match their standard of baking). Indoors or out, Duchess offers an elevated yet welcoming café experience that continues to set the standard for excellence in Edmonton.

The Art of Cake, located in the Brewery District Downtown of Edmonton, is a renowned bakery and cafe that has been serving delectable treats for over 30 years. The vintage setup and warm eclectic decor create a charming ambiance as soon as you step inside. Known for its high-end cakes, cookies, pastries, and custom-made creations, The Art of Cake offers an unparalleled sensory experience that combines artisan baking with a hint of nostalgia.
Posting about Red Door. Open only two nights a week but will leave you wanting more. Astrid, (one of the?) bartender(s) conjures up great one-of-a-kind drinks, on top of the already great selection of drinks on the menu. She makes every drink with passion and serves them with a twinkle in her eyes and a genuine smile on her face. Jeremy, the owner is humble, approachable, and is a great chat! A hole in the (Art of Cake’s) wall, one can have their cake and eat it too and partner it with unforgettable libations. My favourite is their espresso martini! I still dream about it every so often.

I got my birthday cake from here, and it was a lovely experience. The decor and atmosphere are charming—it really gives off the cozy vibe of a British tea house. They also seem to host special events on weekends, which adds to the charm. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The cake itself was delicious, though a bit too heavy on the cream for my taste.
Mahdieh A — Google review
Our wedding cake was beyond anything we could have imagined—absolutely stunning and truly the star of the night. The moment it was brought out, the entire room gasped, rushed in for photos, and it created one of the most unforgettable moments of our wedding. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was also delicious (as we knew it would be). Every detail was remarkable and went above and beyond our expectations, and the care, service, and kindness from the whole team made the experience so special from start to finish. If you’re looking for a cake that’s both breathtaking and delicious, look no further—this is the team to trust!

I just enjoy visiting the store though it's far from my house. There's something magical about the atmosphere that calms you when you enter. The quaint decor is quite pleasing to the senses. The service is great, and the cakes taste so nice as well. My goto for cakes anytime!
Idowu Y — Google review
I purchased this cake for my wife’s birthday after reading several great reviews for The Art of Cake and noticing the high Google rating. We have a big sweet tooth so we were pretty excited to try this place out. The flavor I purchased was the Lotus cake. The cake taste is not bad but the texture is off and doughy. The cream was lacking and doesn’t have much depth to it; basically tastes like whipped cream. We were very unimpressed with everything despite paying a premium for this cake. On top of that, I am very certain that The Art of Cake uses Betty Crocker cake mix to make their cakes. I cannot recommend this place and would be best to avoid it altogether. The staff were friendly and polite but for some reason, I was asked to tip the staff for a cake that was purchased to take home. It left me confused and baffled.
C — Google review
The aesthetics of this place are mesmerizing. It is located in a secluded place. But each element of the decor is a separate story. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Coffee and desserts (large selection) are delicious. There are several halls and each of them is amazing.
Julia D — Google review
I recently hosted a high tea for 18 of my friends, and I can’t thank The Art of Cake enough for making it such a memorable event! The food was nothing less than fantastic—each item was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. My guests were in awe of both the taste and the stunning visuals of the treats. The team was incredibly accommodating with all of my requests, and the person I communicated with via email was absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made the planning process a breeze. Customer service was exceptional, matching the high quality of the food. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend The Art of Cake for anyone looking to elevate their event with exquisite food that will impress all your guests.

The name speaks for itself, I cannot tell you enough how sublime the cakes are here. What makes everything so much more sweet is the service and how warm and lovely every single person who works at this establishment are. When I say there is no other place to grab a Coffee, Cake or an exceptional high tea experience this is your place. My husband and I had our gender reveal here and I wouldn’t have changed anything about it. Tears were flowing and it was a magical experience all because of how The Art Of Cake made the day so perfect. I am looking forward to coming back and I already know where we are getting our son’s first birthday cake. I would recommend this place to anybody, you will never get better service and the most decadent cake anywhere else. You are perfection. 🩷✨

Chocorrant Pâtisserie + Cafe in Edmonton has gained a reputation for its exceptional European-style croissants, making it a must-visit for pastry enthusiasts. The cafe is known not only for its delectable offerings but also for the warm and personalized service that ensures every visitor feels special. Angie, often found behind the counter, is celebrated for creating a homely atmosphere and engaging in friendly conversations with patrons.
One of the best spots for croissant lovers — buttery, flaky, and absolutely delicious! The place itself could use a little upgrade, and the drink options are pretty limited, but honestly, the croissant steals the show. Definitely coming back for more pastry perfection!
Kimberly C — Google review
They offer a wide variety of croissant flavors, and we tried three of them. The croissants were a bit on the dry side and the flavors not very strong, though the salted egg yolk filling was interesting and worth a try. I’d recommend going earlier in the day or reserving online/by phone since the selection can be quite limited and you might miss out on the flavors you want on the afternoon.
Kate — Google review
Delightfully elevated croissants, both sweet and savory. The $7 croissant and coffee special is a really good deal because their brewed coffee is actually really good and doesn't taste like mud or grounds. I sampled both, the pistachio and the truffle and was overwhelmed by the delectable and subtle tastes.
S G — Google review
Small selection of croissants, but all of them looks amazing. We bought 4 different kinds, and they were all delicious. Not overly sweet and you can taste the good buttery flakes of the croissants.
Pia R — Google review
Everything is incredibly delicious, I couldn't resist and took a bite before taking a photo. The croissants are very tasty!! The coffee is wonderful, the staff is very friendly. The establishment is very clean. I recommend it to everyone! ❤️❤️❤
Виктория Г — Google review
When in Edmonton this is a great place to go and get a delicious European style croissant. Angie was the one to serve me and did so with such care. She asked where I was from and we even shared previous travel destinations. Very friendly service ! Coming from Montreal where there are so many French bakeries around the competition is very fierce. That said Choccorant has a great recipe, and they seem to be doing quite well for themselves. I ordered a few boxes of croissants for a work event, and I even had a few myself during my stay. They are very delicious and crunchy and I think Edmonton is very lucky to have them make such a good version of the croissant. I would have hoped the sandwich would have been made with more care and finesse (the spreading of the cranberries and the generosity of the Brie and turkey. Alas, it’s all good.
Discovering D — Google review
We’ve been loyal customers of Chocorrant Pâtisserie + Café in Edmonton for over four years, and it has truly become our go-to spot for cakes and pastries. Our first visit was while searching for a cake for a special occasion, and ever since, it has been our reliable choice whenever we need something sweet. Their croissants are absolutely fantastic—flaky, buttery, and perfectly golden, with a variety of delicious fillings that are both indulgent and balanced, never overpowering. The cakes are another highlight: rich, fresh, and never too sweet, making every bite a delight. We also love that they offer 5x5 cakes, perfect for smaller gatherings, as well as the larger sizes for bigger celebrations. For desserts, the Raspberry Yuzu Cake is my personal favorite, while my husband can’t get enough of the Earl Grey Opera Cake. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back—great pastries, thoughtful presentation, and consistent quality. The staff are always friendly and kind, and their customer service is excellent—they respond quickly to emails and any questions about orders. Our orders are always ready promptly and on time, making every experience seamless and enjoyable.

I’m a regular costumer here for Salted yolk, live in the Southwest so every time we go near Jasper Ave I will stop by to buy some. This is the 1st time that I bought 4 and 1 of them has no filling in it. I really love the flavor and filling is super important to the whole croissant but very disappointed that it is missing. Single croissant is not cheap here so I would expect that it worth every penny I paid, this is equivalent to a plain croissant :(

Bakery
Sugared & Spiced Baked Goods Inc. is a charming, family-owned bakeshop tucked away in a historic back alley of Edmonton. Founded by Amy and Jeff Nachtigall, this hidden gem started as a small venture at the farmers' market, gaining fame for its unique cookie flavors like peanut butter chocolate chip and bacon.
Stumbled across this cute place when we went to pick up glasses at Regent Optical just a few doors away. Jeff was super nice! We got the coffee and a cookie combo to share. We sat outside to enjoy the afternoon! It was a pretty great Sunday! Be sure to stop in for their other items. Looks pretty yummy 😋

My sister had ordered this cake and had it delivered to me as a surprise. I was shocked when opening the box, the cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. She had a great conversation with the person over the phone while ordering. The macaroons, specifically the purple one was out of this world. I need to go see if they sell them in person! I recently moved across the country for a new job. Thank you for making a milestone birthday so special ♥️

Visiting the farmers market today and wandering the Whyte Ave area — I love discovering these little shops tucked in the alleys behind the main streets. One great surprise: Sugared & Spiced. Lots of awards on the wall (for some reason! 😀) — and when you see the cakes, you’ll understand why. Had a snack and a coffee — wonderful.
Bruce M — Google review
Our typical order is a lemon meringue tart, a ginger cookie and peanut butter marshmallow squares. Everything is fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this back alley bakery 😊🥰
Jo T — Google review
The CUTEST little place, with amazing atmosphere and great food! This back alley basement bakery is so whimsical and delightful. And their little patio is so amazing on a hot day, you can be outside but fully shaded and cool and chill. I got their sourdough bread to take home and it was great, and my sister has a croissant and I tried a piece and it was amazing. Stop for the food, stay for the ambiance!
Katie B — Google review
This is a family run bakery in the alley north of Whyte Ave, the owner is among the crew that greets you at the counter. Everything they make is Instagram worthy, everything is delicious! As a realtor, I buy a lot of treats for clients, and I have never heard anything but rave reviews for Sugared and Spiced!
Edmonton S — Google review
I order my birthday cakes from here and am never dissatisfied! The cakes are always beautiful and packaged safely. I love the texture and taste of the cake--not too dense and heavy and not overpoweringly sweet. I love that you can choose your cake flavour (i recommend lemon raspberry or chocolate raspberry) and customize the colours of the icing, macarons, and meringue. The 4" is a perfectly sized personal cake for yourself and a friend.
Jessica L — Google review
This is my first experience/order, but it certainly will not be my last. I ordered a 4 inch lemon/cream cake and it was heavenly! To start with, the sponge was light and fluffy while still being moist and super flavourful without being overly sweet. The frosting was light and buttery, and also no overly sweet. The lemon cream filling had the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The ratio of sponge, to filling, to butter cream was perfect! The decoration and colours were exactly as requested and I can tell that the extra notes I left on the order regarding the theme of the cake were read and applied (it was a half way to Halloween theme for a much delayed birthday). Overall a very positive experience, and as mentioned at the beginning, I will be back.

Bakery
Bon Ton Bakery is a beloved institution in Edmonton, offering over 80 varieties of bread, baked goods, cakes, and cookies. Founded by Eugene Edelmann in 1923, the bakery has a rich history that began in Hungary and endured many hardships before establishing itself in Edmonton. The bakery offers DIY sugar cookie decorating kits for families and a variety of holiday sweets like Easter Egg Filled Croissants and Easter Bunny Cookies.
If you’re a cinnamon bun lover, Bon Ton Bakery is your spot. Their cinnamon buns are rich, gooey, and perfectly spiced, everything you want in a classic treat. The dough is soft and buttery with just the right amount of chew, and the cinnamon-sugar swirl is generous without being overpowering. Blueberry peach flan is delicious. Light cream cheese flan with sliced peaches and blueberries. Whether you’re seeking daily bread, a special cake, or unique culinary products, this bakery is a worthwhile destination.
Nicole Y — Google review
I knew the name Bon Ton as a well-respected bakery, but I hadn't made the trek into their doors until recently. Beyond offering baked goods, bulk breads, and coffees, their market should be celebrated across Edmonton. It's more than just elevated staples, spices, and pick-me-ups — it's a distillate of some of the most creative and hardworking food producers in the city. Expect everything from ice cream, ferments, pre-packed soups, and roadtrip-ready pretzels. The staff are entertaining, efficient, and engaged. Their treats have textures I didn't know were possible in the same bite. It's just so dang good. If you're shopping for yourself or hoping to show a visitor around town, skip the mall and stop by Bon Ton. I wish I had sooner.
Jacob U — Google review
We got the sticky bun ring to bring home in our own reusable container. The super nice and helpful guy behind the counter noticed our container and didn’t think us weird at all for bringing it. My kid loves the sticky buns so much, he’s willing to overlook the pecans and raisins in it. The vanilla mille-feuille is delicious — creamy and oh so flaky — though the top was a bit sweet. Would be great with coffee to cut the sweetness. Husband tried the flavour of the month mojito pastry, which was also incredible — like a mousse dessert, with a hardened gel shell and a hint of lime flavour. Amazing local bakery with top quality baked goods and service! Definitely coming back.

I used to think I hated bagels… turns out I just hadn’t tried Bon Ton’s bagels yet. These are on a whole different level. Now I wonder if this is what bagels are actually supposed to taste like, because I feel like I’ve been missing out all this time. The staff are always super friendly too. Came by to pick up my order with my Dad after work, both of us running on an empty stomach, and the guy at the counter gave us two olive flutes for free! We ate them in the car before we even left the parking lot. SO GOOD!!! They are like fancy breadsticks with such a nice salty flavour from the olives. Super glad to have a place like this here in Edmonton! 🩵

Vienna Bakery is a popular bakery in Edmonton that offers delicious baked goods, such as pretzels and rye bread. The bakery is well-hidden but well worth the trip if you're in the area. The cakes are particularly delicious, and prices are very reasonable.
We come to Vienna Bakery for all of our family's cakes throughout the year. We always enjoy the baking as well as the service. Their cream horns and cream croissants are amazing, and so are their pretzels. Highly recommended despite their location. They aren't hard to find, but you need to go around the backs of other business's to get there.

One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to! Everything tasted fresh and amazing, especially the eclairs and the black forest cake. Every item I tried was absolutely delicious with just the right balance of flavor and texture. You can tell everything is made with love and high-quality ingredients. Cozy vibe, lovely staff, and treats that make you want to come back every day.

I've bought black forest cakes from Vienna for a few years now. They are so well done and I always get compliments on how great they taste. I always request "Happy Birthday" written in whatever language the birthday person speaks. In my photos, German and Polish. Vienna Bakery is your go to for a variety of cakes, breads (including pretzels) and sweet treats! Highly recommend this little bakery to everyone who hasn't been yet!

When I go to an Indian restaurant I want the owners and cooks to be Indian. When I go to a German / Austrian bakery I would think the owners would be German. The owners of this bakery are from India. The workers are from Phillippines, Romania. That’s fine…If they’re trained in German culinary skills. The bakery seems to be functional but I’m not sure about the quality. I came when they opened at exactly 8:00 AM. I ordered the mohnkuchen at $5 for a small piece. It was stale. So I’m giving a 1 star. Maybe I’ll try again in the future

Pre ordered a cake in advance. Specifically said mocha torte including a picture. When I picked it up, it was a completely different cake. It was absolutely beautiful but not what we ordered. Obviously took the cake anyway because it was absolutely beautiful and would "do the trick"....and I was in a time crunch and desperate at this point. It was so dry and had SOOOOO much icing, not one person could finish their piece. Very disappointing experience all around sadly. We won't be back.

Bakery
Bonjour Bakery has been a staple in Edmonton for over 25 years and is well-known for their artisan breads, made with local ingredients. Their sourdough bread is special because it's left to ferment for days before baking, which gives it a unique flavour.
I used to hate sourdough, but this place changed my mind. Now, I love sourdough! Plus all the bread is so perfectly good! I live this neighbourhood so bought bread Multiple times, never got disappointed.
Hailey J — Google review
The moment you walk in you're greeted by the wonderful smell of fresh bread and pastries. Their croissants are perfectly flaky, the pastries decadent and the artisan sourdough has a golden crust with a soft, tender crumb. The staff are always warm and eager to recommend something new, and you can tell they care about the quality. I love that they use local ingredients—you can really taste the craftsmanship. An inviting, cozy spot for breakfast bread pickup or a sweet treat!

Great bakery on Whyte. I've been stopping by for some sourdough loaves and pastries for a couple months now and it never disappoints! Definitely recommend their bread and also the Madagascar pastry. All the pastries I've tried were good though so you can't go wrong.

I wish I had found this place earlier! I can't wait to try the pumpkin bread I got. It's my first time buying sourdough from this charming local bakery, and I’m hopeful I might fall in love with it and move away from regular grocery-store bread. Thanks so much for your thoughtful care!

First time checking out Bonjour Baking and Whyte Ave. They sell all types of baguettes , sourdough and many more breads. They have a small selection of pastries. A bit disappointed that they didn’t have croissants. They also sell cheese, drinks, jams etc. A great place to buy different breads.🥖🍞
Cindy — Google review
The sourdough breads are absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for a place to buy sourdough this would be the place. Though the pastries they sell aren't worth the hype. Over all it was a great experience and I would come here again just for the sourdough as well as the rest of their bread.
Boyko Z — Google review
Amazing croissants, sourdough bread, and cheese!! I want to try everything, what we have had so far was all amazing. Got some great cheeses recommended to us, and had a proper croissant that was delicious (not just a crescent shaped bun like a lot of places try to pass off as a croissant!). Yes I ate it in the car, couldn't wait to get home! And they have small loaves of sourdough which is perfect, we aren't big bread eaters (despite the love for croissants) so the smaller loaf was great for us. Aaaand now I need to go back asap.

Bakery
Nestled in a charming, old-world ambiance since 1966, the Artistic Bake Shop is a delightful gem for anyone craving authentic European baked goods. This independent bakery has been lovingly run by two generations of the Schwabenbauer family, who have dedicated themselves to crafting an array of fresh pretzels, breads, pastries, and stunning wedding cakes. Whether you're planning a special event or simply indulging in some delectable treats for yourself, this shop offers custom orders to meet your needs.
I was also blessed with baked goods from this location, and gods everything I had was amazing. Loved the pretzels, they were amazingly savory bites. But I would die for those cream horns. Just utter perfection. The cream puffs were really good to. I hope to make it down there and fill a box of stuff up for myself one day ;D
Kay L — Google review
Like the sting cake, it's the weekend special, the cheese cream layer is textured well and tastes great! Pretzel is also nice!
Kun L — Google review
A wonderful German bakery in south Edmonton that has been run by the same family for decades. The pretzels are, of course, exemplary along with their pretzel buns (pretzel buns are Friday and Saturday only). Their variety of pastries, tortes and pies are almost overwhelming on what to enjoy first! Danishes and the Quark Cheesecake are my personal favourites. The breads and buns are naturally sourdough leavened and have a deeper flavour because of it. It can be busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but like any independent bakery, it’s best to call ahead if you want something specific. They have such a magical selection that going in on a whim is perfectly fine too!
Stephen K — Google review
The pretzel was really good. We ate it with some warm butter and jam. Loved it. The salt pieces on the pretzel are not a lot. Can easily pick or rub most of them off. Note that they run out of pretzels early. 4 left at 4 in the afternoon. Enjoyed the cream horn as well. I absolutely loved the brownie. Decedent and rich. The yellow one has some marzipan stuffed into cookie dough. You either like marzipan or don't. Will be back. They sell bread as well. $16 for the marzipan cookie, brownie, cream horn and 2pretzels.

I’m getting ready to host a German Exchange student for a few months and all my European friends and Germans on Reddit told me this is the place to buy the best bread in the area. They did not disappoint. I also ended up bringing home pretzels and sausage roll (I ate that in store because it was the best I’ve ever tasted). There weren’t a lot of customers at the moment so my friend and I ended up chatting with the staff for a bit. They were so friendly and knowledgeable that we left there with the biggest grins. Absolutely the best bread I have tasted. I live out of town but this will be a weekly visit for me from now on.

This bakery is exceptional in many ways. From the inviting atmospere to the sinful treats and pastries offered there, its amazing! The prices are reasonable considering the level of heaven your getting. I even heard someone that works there speaking fluent german to a lady who came in and spoke german. Cool. I highly recommend for breakfast, or lunch and takeaways. Edit: Just found out its a german bakery. Ha.

Dutch Delicious Bakery & Deli, located in the heart of Edmonton, is a celebration of Dutch tradition with over 17 years of operation. It offers a unique blend of European bakery finesse and deli comfort, providing a wide selection of sweet and savory treats made with natural ingredients. The establishment is not just a bakery; it's an immersive cultural experience wrapped in the inviting aroma of fresh bread and pastries.
Great Spot! We've visited many times over the years. The shop is quite large now, compared to when it first opened. It's in a strip mall. For diners, there's a great selection of brunch/lunch/desserts - from savory to sweet. They have a great selection of hot drinks. The staff are all super-helpful and friendly. The store has a great selection of bakery/bread items, and also has a very good selection of Dutch cheeses and 'European' deli food items. Overall, it's a great spot to both have a light meal, or shop for Dutch/European bakery and deli goods. We highly recommend Dutch Delicious.

Customers rave about the Raspberry Chocolate Cake as well. Additionally, the bakery is known for beautifully decorated cupcakes and impressive cakes that are perfect for any occasion.
Edmonton’s hidden gem! The most delicious and fresh food! Quiches are exactly the way they’re supposed to be, not like Canadian style. Best customer service! And atmosphere - unbelievable! It looks odd from the outside but as soon as you open the door - you escape into the most authentic European town and feel so warm and welcomed! Sad that it’s located in such a neighborhood but it’s totally worth trying! 100/5⭐️

Absolutely delightful bakery—one of my favorite stops in Alberta! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy, colorful atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Every detail in the shop reflects warmth and care. The cakes and macarons are nothing short of amazing—you can truly taste the love and craftsmanship that goes into each bite. The flavors are well-balanced, textures are perfect, and the presentation is beautiful. It’s clear that the bakers here are passionate about what they do. Whether you're treating yourself or picking up something special for someone else, this bakery is a must-visit.!

This place is such a hidden gem! I’d walked past it so many times without realizing what I was missing. The entrance doesn’t do it justice, but once you step inside, it’s cozy, warm, and has such a lovely authentic vibe. The menu is seriously impressive. So much to choose from! Fresh pastries, colourful macarons, mini cakes, sandwiches, crepes, quiches, and full-on breakfast and lunch options. Everything we tried was delicious, and the coffee was piping hot and honestly one of the best I’ve had in Edmonton. It’s a small spot but super inviting, and you can tell they put a lot of love into what they do. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into good food, good coffee, and a chill place to relax.

For my 50th birthday, ST ALBERT location on 50 Thomas Street! I celebrated in style with a high tea party that exceeded every expectation! The private room was stunningly decorated, making me feel like royalty, and the attention to detail was incredible. The food? Absolutely divine. From the delicate finger sandwiches to the decadent pastries, everything was perfect, but the highlight had to be the macaroons. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth experience, with flavors that were beyond indulgent. Honestly, they were to die for! This venue isn’t just for milestone birthdays—it’s perfect for any occasion, whether you’re celebrating turning 5, 50, or anywhere in between. It’s like stepping into a birthday dream. The whole event felt more than 5 stars, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to host a private gathering. Their dedication to making every detail perfect guarantees an unforgettable experience! The staff were so accommodating at the ST ALBERT location.

Nice staff and super delicious food... I highly recommend this place! macarons tasted fabulous. I look forward to my next visit After the owner review,I would like to better describe my experience their macarons are crispy and delicious with perfect level of sweetness. Just like the kind of macarons I had in Morocco except it’s crispy. I would definitely come back and buy more and try other pastries.
Kimou H — Google review
I came here to pickup an order I had made online for an office party. I ordered 4 dozen macarons; pistachio, pomegranate, mango, and blueberry. The ordering process was quick and easy. When I went to pick up the macarons, I instantly fell in love with the little piece of France that is the bakery itself. The decor is mismatched, yet it looks carefully curated to create a sense of intentionality and visual interest. The space is small but abundant in curiosity. The service counter features the beautiful pastries the chef creates, the service is friendly and inviting. When I asked for the order I had placed a few days back, the chef brought them out himself, gave me some tips on when and how to serve, and off I went. When I got back to the office and unboxed the macarons, I was delighted by their uniformity, size and vibrancy. They were exquisite and an absolute hit!

I've been to the St Albert location a number of times and the downtown location twice now. It's always a good experience and I love their chicken and mushroom crepes with the rich cream sauce and cheese on top. It's a large portion so you might want to take some home with you so you have room for the desserts. I tried macarons a few times at other locations and I never liked them because they always seemed overly sweet but I recently tried them here and they are absolutely delicious. I love the flavor and the slight exterior crunch with a bit of chewiness inside. I just ate one for breakfast which is very unlike me, but it was so good. I also highly recommend their mushroom soup and the chicken sandwich.

Hazeldean Bakery is located across the street from a playground, which made it an ideal spot for TODDLERS and their Moms. The owner was very kind, opening the door for her when she arrived and giving her a free Easter cookie as well as helping with orders. This little bakery will definitely be making regular appearances on our list of go-to bakeries!
The Apple fritters are famous and it lives up to its reputation. It’s crunchy and chewy at the same time. Pieces of apples are interlaced. Line up starts at 9am. It is definitely worth the trip!

Went there just because I happened to be in the area. Shop isn't big but there's plenty of options. I had heard they make terrific donuts, in particular their apple fritters. Unfortunately, by 11:30am donuts are sold out so I bought two cinnamon rolls instead. Lucy gave me a third one for free-so sweet of her🥰. Cinnamon rolls were very good, with just the right sweetness and delicious flavor. (No raisins or glaze or frosting.)I was told to come right when they open or better yet, to order in advance to get the donuts. I'll be back for sure and I'll be putting in an order for next time. 😁👍👍

You may heard that this place will be changing hands in the near future so get out there and try their donuts and sausage rolls before you can’t anymore. If you’re going on Saturday make sure to arrive early as the line starts before they open and sweets sell out fast because they’re delicious. The apple fritters are HUGE and even have apple filling inside mmmmmmm they’re a perfect fall dessert!!! The sausage rolls are light and flaky plus the sausage flavour is on point!!! Try this place as soon as you can 🥰

I had a nice conversation with the owner in mandarin, told her it was my first time trying a sausage roll, and she gave me one for free! :'). I recommend anybody to go there, just don't abuse trying to get free stuff cause this is family owned and not some big corporation. The sausage roll tastes very similar to something back in my country and I really like it!

Bliss Baked Goods 10710 142 St NW I was in the neighborhood and was looking for a bakery. Google reviews brought me here. Right now, there's construction going on in the whole shopping center but the store is open. They are a dairy and nut free bakery, which isn't an issue for me, so I wasn't sure what to expect. All of the baked goods looked amazing so it was hard to decide but I got a Butterbeer cupcake, a Chocolate Maple Square, a Boston Creme Donut and the Buy 1, Get 1 free Sourdough Bread. The lady at the counter was super friendly and very helpful. Everything I got was delicious. I'd recommend this bakery to anyone.

Walked over with my kids after getting ice cream at Friesen brothers and the lady proceeded to lecture me about the kids having ice cream cones in their hands and how they are a dairy free establishment, as if someone off the street should know this information. The Italian Centre Shop Ltd. is a beloved destination in Edmonton, known for its vibrant atmosphere and wide selection of Italian and Mediterranean products. Under the leadership of Teresa Spinelli, the store has grown to nearly a block in size, offering an array of fresh produce, deli meats like mortadella and salami, cheeses, olives, and specialty items such as Argentine Mate tea and Greek Taramasalata fish paste.
I absolutely enjoyed shopping here, excellent arrey of products and lots of italian vibes! I will definitely be a return shopper here. Found some amazing hibiscus products here too. Hibiscus Tea, drink and hibiscus oil (wow)! the blue berry drink too was great... Great place to shop, i will defintely recommend!

The downtown Edmonton Italian Centre is a true local success story. Frank Spinelli—God bless him—sits across from the store he founded decades ago, and he’d be so proud of what his daughter has built. This is my favorite location, the original, and always a treat to visit. Whether grabbing some lunch necessities or just browsing, the experience is always fantastic. Today’s purchase was Italian Mortadella, German butter cheese (non-smoked), and a beautifully ripe beefsteak tomato. The service is great, the selection is unbelievable, and the quality is premium—all at fair prices.

The bakery is inconsistent. Very great almond croissants and ginger cookies back in May, these past 2 months have been terrible and a waste of money. Reply to owner: I'm good. Unless you want to make it up to me, I'll be happy to give this location another try. Otherwise, I'm avoiding Little Italy like the plague.

I find for the value of the product I am purchasing and the rarity of availability, the prices are highly reasonable. The pastries taste like they're made with love and the deli team is always incredibly educated in their product knowledge and impressive with their suggestions. They've never lead me wrong. This is my comfort place to shop and feel the calmness of the bustle and not chaos as such in larger grocery chains.

I had great customer service today in the Deli today. Matteo was a great help. Offered us options for items that were sold out. I really love this store. Good parking, sandwiches are awesome, coffee, service, ice cream in summer, but I find bakery quality has really gone down hill in the last few years. I really hope your quality improves soon because I love the store and selection.

Always a delight to stop by. While "Italian Bakery" as a title has some real competition in this corner of Edmonton, the OG's know that this crew brings their A-game in every batch. Expect moist where you want it and crunchy where you need it. Add some European-inspired staples at an affordable markup and you have a great reason to stop in this corner of 118th for your next baking project, picnic, or ammo for a late-night fridge raid. Favourite snacks: cream horns, napoleon bars, and mini-cheesecakes. Seasonally, though, the mini pumpkin pies are top notch.

Lovely bakery! Im from out of town and it was my first time here from out of town, my aunt and uncle took me out for an Italian sandwich fresh from the deli. We ate at the bakery. Lovely shop, very clean and well organized with both fresh baked goods and grocery items. Excellent selection with great prices. I had the pastrami sandwich with old havarti cheese and the tiramisu. Both were delicious. The fresh pasta and sauce looked so good and would have made a fun quick meal. If only i was staying longer, next time!. Highly recommend to stop in for a treat if you're in the area. There's also lots of parking in the back.

Bought a Corned Beef on Rye. Sandwiches in front of display look nice and big; I asked if they were fresh. She boxes for me. When I opened box after leaving to eat; I got a much smaller sandwich; looks like end pieces, and bread was dry on top. Disappointing - make sure you point out the exact sandwich you want. If you don’t watch, you get what you get. Service was nice and friendly though.

Brio Bakery, founded by former dental technician Todd Barraclough in 2015, has evolved from a home baking hobby to a thriving brick-and-mortar establishment in Oliver. Trained at the prestigious San Francisco Baking Institute, Todd's expertise extends beyond breadmaking to include Viennoiserie pastries like croissants and brioche. The bakery's signature levain lends a unique and sophisticated flavor profile to its products.
SUCH a gem!!! The pastries we got were absolutely phenomenal, everything we didn't get looked phenomenal, and the coffee was also excellent. Service was lovely and thoughtful, prices were fair. Lots of interesting options you wouldn't find anywhere else in the city (eg croque monsieur croissant). Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a top notch bakery with high quality breads/pastries.

I'm obsessed with this Edmonton bakery! Their bread and pastries are top-notch, and the staff are super friendly. The light rye and almond croissant are must-trys!

Brio is absolutely spectacular! It’s hands down my favorite bakery. Everything is made with such care and quality, you can taste it in every bite. I highly recommend the almond croissant, the pain au chocolat, and the sourdough bread, sesame whole wheat it’s my favorite! they’re simply perfect. If you love good bread and pastries, this place is a must! ✨✨

Very delicious pastry and bread! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. They have the best coffee! My family love this place! Highly recommended!

This place has really good products, everything is tasty, fresh, and feels truly authentic. If you love real bread and classic French pastries, I highly recommend giving it a try. You can really tell the quality and care that goes into everything. My only small wish is that they were open longer hours, but I completely respect the owner's choice. Definitely worth a visit whenever you can catch them open!

I moved into the neighbourhood the beginning of this year and have religiously paid the bakery a visit multiple times a week (sometimes twice a day...). Yes the olive bread is delectable and the ham and cheese croissant is life altering. It's actually the friendly and bright women who work the store front of the bakery that brings me back every time. It's the warm intentions that you feel within the questions you are being asked. I'm more than positive others will share the same opinion as me. Foods good, the team is world class

I'm not even a huge fan of cinnamon buns, but my partner brought one home today from Brio that melted in my mouth. One of the most delicious baked goods I have ever eaten. We also get their sourdough and it's so good. Can't recommend enough!

The lemon curd cruffin was so good. Multiple flaky layers and a sweet and tangy filling. I enjoyed it. I'll try them again and maybe try the breads as that seemed like a popular choice with other customers.

Bakery
Confetti Sweets, a beloved bakery in Edmonton and Sherwood Park, started as a one-woman operation and has now become a local cookie empire. The cookies are made from scratch using high-quality ingredients like butter, sugar, and flour. The bakeshop offers a cozy ambiance and friendly staff, making it an ideal place to indulge in delicious homemade treats. Their soft and chewy cookies come in various flavors such as coconut, ginger snap, and sugar sprinkles.
The is a sweet stop, literally! As soon as you open the door the sweet aroma makes your start to salivate and the sugar rush is on! I love the variety of fun other items they carry- definitely vibes of a Makers space with pickled goods, hilarious sponges, take and bake cookie and cake kits, jewelry, and more. A great idea if you’re looking to put together a gift and want a one stop shop. We had a hard time deciding between their cookies vs their cupcakes but in the end settled for a 1/2 dozen cupcakes ($24) otherwise it would have been $4.50 per cupcake. Cookies were priced at $2.50 per cookie. I loved the flavours of the cupcakes and am always drawn to the carrot cupcakes with cream cheese icing. But we also tried the Oreo/cookies and cream cupcake, the coconut cupcake with coconut buttercream with cookies and cream cheese icing, the chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream, and the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing. Very moist and rich cupcakes. In the past I’ve bought the cookies that were pre baked in the freezer section and these were actually also very tasty and a great idea so to with your extra cookies. And I’ve tried the kits as well and always enjoyed the results.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Confetti Sweets and I’ve been here many times. Their baking is delicious and is consistently good, I’ve never been disappointed. They also carry a whole bunch of neat products from local vendors so there’s lots to look at and it’s much more than just a bakery. The employee the last time was also so kind to my 5 year old daughter who was chatting up a storm. Arguably the best bakery in Sherwood Park. Highly recommend.

10/10 best cookies!!!! They are so incredibly delicious, soft and just the right amount of sweetness. I happened to be in the area and was finally able to pop into the actual storefront and it’s amazing. They have so many local vendors as well on top of their own products. It’s a great showcase for all other talented people in our city. Fun store to drop into!! It’s bright and they have a selection of lots of items! Hopefully I’ll have more time next time to do a little more shopping!! Hours: Mon-Fri: 9AM - 7PM Sat-Sun: 10AM - 5PM

We received cookies from Confetti Sweets as a gift and we were impressed! It was an assortment of cookie flavours and we highly recommend them all to find your favourite. They were all delicious, not too sweet, the right texture of soft without feeling raw and a good size. I'm sure there will be one that you just adore, my favourite had to be the sprinkle one! I think if you like bringing treats, cookies from Confetti Sweets would be enjoyed and appreciated!
Sonia C — Google review
Fabulous locally, family owned cupcakes and cookies! The cupcakes (to our family) are unrivalled anywhere on the continent. The icing is superb, the cake is tender and rich. Plus they carry some cool and cute others foods and crafts from around Alberta in their gift area. Seriously don’t go the American US franchise Crumbl for hideously overpriced, overly sweet, unimpressive cookies-come to the Sherwood Park original 😘 you will not be disappointed. PS their packaging is gorgeous and petfect to give the treats as a gift

Love these cookies!! Makes great gifts too! People are friendly and very helpful with fundraising!

We preordered a birthday cake online and were very disappointed, especially after coming from out of town. The carrot cake was dry and overbaked. The icing—nearly two inches thick—seemed like an attempt to compensate, but it only made the dessert overly sweet and heavy. Sadly, we only ate half and had to throw the rest out.

Amazing spot for scrumptious treats! I grabbed a 12 pack of cookies. Prompt service by a lovely young lady. Variety of items to peruse if you are not after sweets. Pace yourself, you may want to eat more than 1!

Pome Bakery is a delightful gem that specializes in crafting exquisite baked goods, from fresh bread to an array of delectable treats. Renowned for their specialty cakes, this bakery has garnered praise for its ability to create stunning and delicious confections tailored to individual preferences. The talented baker Ashish stands out with his remarkable skill and keen understanding of customer desires, ensuring every cake exceeds expectations.
Just want to give you feedback on the Cake. First of all, Genuinely it was the best ever cake till today from your bakery. Cake was really exquisite, crafted with the finest ingredients and bursted with flavours. The idea of whipping cream was best I think, the cake was not dry at all and the caramel and walnuts were giving the perfect nutty flavour. All my friends enjoyed every bite of the cake.thank you so much Ashish !!

It was my second time to stop by this bankers shop. My favorite was the pecan tart and Turtle cheese cake. The Opera didn’t tasted espresso and almond cake is very light. The mix books bag has peanut butter, salted caramel and red velvet cookies. But the red velvet cookies didn’t tasted creamy or buttery. The Macaroons were good, soft and sweet, fresh. If you stop by at 6-8pm, 20% off on almost every thing( except the cakes).

I was SO blown away by the cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. It was exactly what I asked for and looked amazing, I didn’t want to cut it! But once we did it was so delicious!! I will definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you so much :)!

Asheesh was able to make my gender reveal cake with little notice. I called the evening before at 7pm and he made it the next morning and I picked it up that afternoon. The cake was decorated so nicely and was a big portion for a very good price. The icing was very bright and noticeably told the gender. Asheesh was so accommodating and kind and quick to work with. I’ll forever be grateful for this cake. I highly recommend him if you want a gender reveal cake or any cakes!

recently discovered this cake shop, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the sweet aroma of freshly baked treats and friendly smiles from the staff. The cakes are absolutely delicious — moist, rich, and beautifully decorated. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself, this place never disappoints. Their custom cakes are stunning and exactly what you'd hope for when planning an event. Plus, they offer a great variety of flavors and designs to choose from. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth or an appreciation for top-notch baking. Can't wait to come back

I ordered a 3 layer chocolate cake for my friends 50th birthday. The sponge was soaked in a cinnamon cardamom syrup. It was topped with a decadent chocolate buttercream and ganache. It was beautiful and delicious and made with love. This cake was the talk of the party. I would absolutely order from Pome again

Got a variety of cakes to enjoy for a family birthday and they were so cute! I loved the fresh berry tart - it was light and tasty. And the presentation was spectacular! One of the other stand outs was the key lime pie- it had such a zesty lime punch I loved it and the hot green vibrant color just stands out all on its own. We also quite enjoyed the pecan nut & passionfruit tart - didn't taste much passionfruit but we liked that result anyways!

MEAT is a modern smokehouse in Canada that offers a wide range of classic BBQ dishes, sides, and drinks. Despite being located outside the traditional BBQ regions, MEAT provides an authentic Texas-style BBQ experience with family-style dining and homemade sauces. The restaurant also offers meat snacks and dishes for at-home gatherings, including a Super Bowl Game Day Feast package.
Talk about a culinary delight! Their menu is designed for sharing, and my hubby and I selected the half beef brisket, half fried chicken thighs, and coleslaw. The array of sauces is remarkable, and the bourbon sauce is my top choice. Smoked food lovers unite, their beef brisket is a must try!

Good spot for a heavy meal! The vibes were great and the staff were super welcoming 💙 I had the pulled pork burger with mac and cheese on the side. Got a little overwhelmed of the texture from the burger—I wish it was juicier and more flavorful even without the sauce. But overall, still a solid meal! I got really full 😮‍💨 It’s a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. Loved the sauces! Hope to try more MEAT

Located off of Whytes Road, this place is serving up some delicious local meats, from brisket, ribs, pulled pork, etc they've got it all. Their brisket was tender and flavorful. The pork ribs were smokey, and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. We order a side of Mac and cheese and two large pickles. Both a great side dish that complement the meats. Service was superb, friendly and efficient! Perfect place if you're feeling carnivorous!

The name of the place literally says what they do best, MEAT. We ordered a lb of Brisket and Full rack of BBQ Ribs. Both of them are so flavorful, and we especially the burnt on the ribs. The burnt smells really good, is crisp, and fravorful. They also have 4 sauces you can add on your table, Bourbon, Cherry, Spicy, and Mustard. We tasted all and love the Spicy and Cherry. House salad is also very good and go very well with their meats. Highly recommended for smoked meat lovers.

Food was okay overall. Everything was barely warm. Maybe would've been a bit better if it was hot. I think the least favourite item between all of us was the brisket. Very dry. 0 fat, tough, cold. The gravy kind of helped.

Warm welcome, impeccable service, reasonable prices. Just one downside: my BBQ pork ribs were too dry (see photo) Otherwise, I had a lovely dinner.

This is my family and I’s go to restaurant for having a relaxing and fun experience. I’ve gone over 5 times now and I can easily say everyone should try it at least once Cav, the server I had every single time I’ve gone there for the last 2 years, is definitely my favourite server in the restaurant business altogether. She’s sweet and kind and always checks on her tables in a timely fashion despite the restaurant being busy almost always, never too much never too little and it’s always a pleasure to know she will be our server. Funny enough, whenever my mom comes into the restaurant, she hopes that it’ll be Cav serving her and nobody else. That isn’t to say nobody else is good, I can’t speak on any other servers, but definitely Cav is an elite level server. She also gave us cinnamon buns on the house on my mom’s birthday which made my mom really happy that day. As for the food, there’s just no complaints whatsoever. Everything tastes either good and delivers as expected or unique and nice. For example, the salmon has a mango sauce on top of it which adds a sweet kick that’s so refreshing and unusual. Their omelette and Benedict are both so good to the point where my brother and I share half an omelette and Benedict everytime so we can get to try both. Their idea of having the “veggies of the day” in the omelette is fantastic cause you never know what you’re going to get and switches it up everytime. They also make their ketchup in house which is very refreshing and tastes like marinara/fresh tomatoes. Definitely ask for it if it’s not already provided. I’m not aware if the chicken is halal so I stick to seafood and vegetarian. 8.2/10 - if you’re on a roadtrip to Edmonton for 3-4 hours, make this a stop for sure.

super delicious food! insanely huge cinnamon rolls that are perfect with coffee (only complaint, bit tough and hard to cut/split—but some difficulty is unavoidable at this sheer size) really loved the service, the staff were very friendly. it’s also a very charming location. i understand the hype!!!

We visited the Highlevel Diner on Saturday past and enjoyed it very much. We got there around 11 and had no issue getting a table. Our server was so nice! Very friendly and quick to take our order. I was surprised how quickly the food was brought to our table. I ordered a Breakfast sandwich (sausage) and my wife had the Got Beef Benny. While my Sammie was good, it was a little underwhelming. The one sausage link cut in the middle on a plain English muffin really had no taste. The hash browns were really soft and tasty. The homemade ketchup was very nice. My wife loved her Benny! It was appealing to the eyes and very tasty! I wish I had ordered it, but I can't do so much hollandaise sauce. Next time I will try it with the sauce on the side. Coffee was refilled often and it was great! I am very impressed with HighLevel Diner and will certainly return soon. Parking sucks, but that's the primary issue with the University/Whyte Ave. area. Sorry for the partially eaten meal pic’s!!

Julio's Barrio made our Mother's Day lunch absolutely perfect! From the moment we stepped inside, the airy and welcoming atmosphere put us all at ease. The service was truly impeccable – attentive without being intrusive, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. But the real star of the show was the food! Every dish was excellent, bursting with fresh flavors that had both the kids and us completely satisfied. It was such a treat to enjoy such delicious Mexican cuisine in such a lovely setting. Julio's Barrio provided a truly memorable experience for our Mother's Day celebration, and we can't wait to visit again soon. Highly recommended!

This place is fantastic! I came here with my friends for my birthday and it was a great experience! Our server Lauren was so friendly, patient, and attentive despite juggling so many tables! • The food was all fresh, and the portions were more than enough • The atmosphere was relaxed and organized • They gave us a free ice cream dessert for my birthday and it was enough to feed 3 people • The prices were extremely affordable • The service was fantastic, including the busboys/girls who regularly checked our tables to clear the dishes This was such a pleasant restaurant to visit and I’ll definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for both casual outings and celebrations. The menu has all the favorites—tacos, enchiladas, burritos—served with bold flavors and generous portions. Their nachos are legendary, and the margaritas? Absolutely worth the trip on their own. Service is friendly and fast, even during busy times. Whether you’re on the patio in the summer or cozying up inside, Julio’s always delivers a fun, flavorful experience. Highly recommend!

Loved the experience here! It was really nice, we ordered shrimp, fish and beef tacos! The fish was the best one in my opinion and would recommend the most! I wished they allowed for pricing based on one taco only, I would order a bunch and eat a bit of everything.

If you're craving vibrant flavors, generous portions, and an atmosphere that feels like a fiesta, look no further than Julio’s Barrio Mexican Restaurant! I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The grilled chicken plate I ordered was a perfect blend of taste and texture juicy, well seasoned chicken served over a bed of rice, topped with a dollop of sour cream, and accompanied by fresh guacamole, pickled onions, and cheese. The side of salsa added the perfect kick, tying everything together beautifully. It was both hearty and satisfying, ideal for a post workout meal or just a fulfilling lunch. But the true showstopper? The dessert! A massive, indulgent creation layered with strawberry syrup, whipped cream, a cherry on top, and dusted with cocoa. It was equal parts refreshing and decadent definitely a treat worth saving room for! The ambiance at Julio’s is upbeat and welcoming, with lively decor and large windows that let in tons of natural light, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink or meal with friends. Service was friendly and prompt, adding to the overall great experience. Whether you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine or just looking for a new spot to indulge your taste buds, Julio’s Barrio is a must visit. I'll definitely be coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This Mexican restaurant is truly a gem in the heart of Whyte Ave! It’s usually very busy, and you often have to wait for a booth, but this time we grabbed seats at the bar. The drinks were excellent in quality; however, I wish they had more mocktail options. The bartender didn’t really offer an explanation or ask for details when we inquired, so we ended up ordering a cocktail without the hard liquor. Despite that, the food did not disappoint—the beef tacos were absolutely delicious!
Mahdieh A — Google review
Three friends traveling form southern Alberta decided to choose this spot. It was very busy so we had to wait but only about ten minutes and there is lots to see in Whyte Ave. The barrio is pretty big so it was a bit noisy. Our waiter offered us drinks - of course margaritas were ordered. I had a frozen strawberry that wasn’t very good. Is should have chosen lime 🙃. They had a QR code in the menu that took me to a complete gluten free menu so it was easy to find something. I chose shrimp tacos with mango salsa and rice and beans. The dis has three small tacos but they were good. One friend had a chimichanga that was huge so she ate half and boxed half. The other ordered the steak fajitas because we guessed that is what smelled so good as we walked by. She said they were amazing and it was a large portion with five soft tacos and all the fixings so you could make them the way you like them. I would recommend it especially for a friends meal.

Julio's on Whyte is a solid spot if you're looking for good value, quality food, and a lively bar-style atmosphere. The portion sizes are generous for the price point, which is always a win, and the food quality matches what you’d expect from a casual Mexican-inspired bar and grill. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the visit. Overall, it’s a great place to stop by for a casual meal, drinks with friends, or just to enjoy the Whyte Ave vibe.

By far the best put together 6 course meal of all time. We got to try two brand new dishes that were as amazing as the rest of our dinner. Serving staff were awesome and walked us through course highlights like how each course was made and by whom, special ingredients and techniques used, and they certainly seemed to enjoy their job. It was fun to watch other patrons as they tasted courses that we had tried 15 mins earlier. Very friendly crowd and I can't wait to return to try something new again!!

We ordered Flank and Bison. Flank was very flavourful with very rich beef taste. Flank wasn’t melt-in-mouth kind of steak, but it was tender. I loved it very much. Bison tasted more chewy with more fat. My friend liked it. Alena was very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was top-notch! Highly recommend this place if you want fresh and high quality steaks.

Amazing experience right from the moment we walked in (smells incredible!) to the end of the night. The servers are all very knowledgeable, the food is amazing, the cocktails were awesome. We did the tasting menu and it was INCREDIBLE. I’ve personally never had a steak this good in my life. As major foodies who’ve tried many restaurants all over the world, this was a 10/10.
Cassidy S — Google review
Great service. They are attentive and clean even the smallest of crumbs. The tartar does not stand out. The scotch egg was good. Most importantly the 6oz top sirloin (medium rare) was *tough*. It was a very big let down and was suppose to be the highlight because I was excited to try “Alberta beef”. Unfortunately, for such a well known restaurant.. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends.
Colling T — Google review
Wanting to try one of Edmonton’s top restaurants known for its farm to fresh concept, we celebrated my wife’s birthday and splurged on the tasting menu. The restaurant is cozy and homey with comfortable atmosphere that’s small but not cramped. The staff is extremely professional and friendly and explained all the dishes. The wine menu offers a small selection of half bottles which is nice because like most fine dining experiences, all the others are in the $150-200 a bottle range which is not worth it when the meal is already $110 each. They also have reasonably priced local craft beer and various cocktails. My wife had a decent glass of a red wine from Greece which we didn’t even know exported wine. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t “wow” me the way tasting menus should. It started with gazpacho which was quite good but may have been the highlight. Bison tartare was good but not great. Pasta was angel hair with a Taber Corn sauce. While I appreciate the notion of locally sourced seasonal food, creamed corn isn’t a good match for pasta and failed for me. The meat was defiantly a disappointment. In my opinion, smoked brisket is the cheapest cut of meat a fine restaurant might offer and it doesn’t belong on the menu if a $110 meal. While I don’t expect ribeye which they charge over $200 for, a tip sirloin or similar cut would’ve been appreciated. Served with charred kale and a large portion of what’s really baked beans, the main lacks creativity for my money. The dessert was just OK and should always stand out at the end of an expensive six course meal. No one flavor stood out and the raspberry sauce was way too minuscule to appreciate. Overall not a bad experience but for $319, I excepted one of the best dining experiences possible and if this it for Edmonton, we’ll save our money for European vacations. Sorry.

Michelin quality food for top tier high street prices. We absolutely loved it and fairly shed a tear at the thought we will never eat here again. Simply faultless. We ate a là carte and had the elk, bison, chocolate Swiss roll and cherry ice cream, as well as two wonderful glasses of Canadian red wine.
Lucy E — Google review
I'd like to state I am personally very critical of the food im eating as I grew up in a house of cooks and I myself can cook so I do judge food very harshly. my personal thing is "it should be better than my own kitchen". That said I did the road trip and I loved the experience of it and the presentation, it was wonderful. On the other hand the taste of the dishes yet unique and complex wasnt something that made me think "omg this is amazing". I understand this is for an experience, but the portions and taste to price ratio I just can not justify it, im sorry. In the end the service was amazing food was ok but nothing to wow me unfortunately.

A Flavorful Adventure at Tzin Wine & Tapas My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Tzin Wine & Tapas this evening, thanks to a thoughtful gift card from close friends — and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be. We opted for the “FEED ME” menu, where you leave your culinary fate in the hands of the chef (who has been crafting magic in Tzin’s kitchen for an impressive 18 years). Every course was a masterclass in flavor, balance, and creativity. From the perfectly spiced curry prawns, to the rich and tender duck, the beautifully charred steak, and of course, their iconic bacon on crostini — each dish was a unique and delightful journey. The service was warm and attentive, the staff and owner incredibly welcoming, and the cozy, intimate ambiance made us feel right at home. This is more than just a dinner — it’s a full sensory experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore bold flavors, expertly prepared food, and genuine hospitality in the heart of Edmonton. Let me know if you'd like to tailor it further (e.g., more casual, shorter, or social media-friendly).

Truly one of the best restaurants in Edmonton. The service, the food, the atmosphere, all incredible. Kelsey is amazing , she is often the only server working but she always makes it seem effortless. Every dish here is delicious. My partner and I have been here many times and we have always had the best experience. If you are considering coming here for dinner or a special occasion, book it! You will not regret it.

Came here for the first time and we celebrated our 10-yr anniversary. The staff made it memorable, the food was superb (cod dish and bacon were our favourites), and the wine pairing with the tasting menu made us realize we need to up our wine game. Tzin has some great wine, and the staff is super knowledgeable to recommend the right choices. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wow! What a great dinner we had at Tzin. Amazing food (we had the surprise menu and it was so great) and our server who was the owner as well was simply so good and sweet. We had great talks with her and she was very knowledgeable about the wines. She also surprised us with different wines which was so fun. Highly recommend if you visiting Edmonton to go to this beautiful little restaurant where you feel the passion for this small business. We definitely will come back!

I got the 'feed me' option, their version of a tasting menu. It was great! Each dish better than the one before. Albacore ceviche: Good, but missing a bit of 'zing' Prawns in Vatavan sauce with Fennel: The warmth of the curry butter sauce contrasted perfectly with the tangy fennel. The prawns were also tender and a great vessel for the buttery sauce Succotash: Hearty, homey, comforting. Gnocchi, Bacon, corn, cream sauce Chowder-ey elevated with a Saskatoonberry glaze Sweet Italian Sausage with fennel pollen burnt peppercorn honey mustard: Tasty sausage, but a little on the dry side by itself. The honey mustard upps the ante. It adds the Juiciness missing from the sausage itself. The sweet and hot is a winning combination with pork and the fennel and herbs in the sausage add a great aromatic halo to the dish. Bison Meatball Pickled onions, house bbq sauce, creme freche, aged cheddar ranch. Warm, tangy, rich, creamy. The meatball is delicious all by itself and super juicy. The sweet and smoky bbq sauce complements the rich bison meat and strengthens the dish's warmth. The aged cheddar ranch ups the creaminess and umami yet again, but also adds a cruicial sharpness from the cheddar to balance the fat. The pickled onions are a 'cherry on top' adding a hint of crunch with a bit more zing. Bacon Crostini, maple apple glaze WOW Flavour explosion! Sweet and tart! Apple blast starts the bite off. Then as the tartness fades, the bacon's richness and smokiness comes to the forefront. The best bacon I have ever had! Lemon Curd Tart Freshly torched meringue, raspberry coulis, shortbread crust. As a dessert, Lemon curd tarts are hard to beat. They're up at the top with Tiramisu and innovative desserts like the hoja santa ice-cream at NOL. This is also a very good lemon curd tart! The tartness is STRONG as it should be and is reinforced with the raspberry coulis. All this tartness is balanced with the sweet and buttery shortbread and the creamy meringue. A great end to a great meal!

Easily one of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was incredible (I audibly moaned more than once,) however, I’d go back for the atmosphere and welcoming staff alone. Looking forward to my next visit!

The place is very small and very tight but quite nice. One side of the standard seat is a bench with cushions and pillows. It is a bit dark as you come in but once seated it is fine. It's very small entrance door to find. At first I wasn't sure if I had come through the back. We did the recommend Feed Me / chef's choice option. Food is served one dish at a time. The best were the risotto (not on menu) and the pork belly with mushrooms sauce. We did not enjoy the beef steak as we are not rare or medium rare consumers. Did not think to mention this to the server. Not sure if we could have sent back to kitchen to ask for it to be more cooked. We also didn't think bacon on crostini was as special as the reviews raved about it. We ordered a glass of red and white wine. They gave us taste tests first with different red wine before we settled. We booked a week in advance for our seats on Open Table. It asked us if we were celebrating anything. It was for our birthdays. Nothing special was done except the server wished us. Service was good as they changed out our plates after every dish. They even store your coat for you if you want. They topped up our waters promptly. Explained the dishes to us. Helped us choose our wines. Cost $150 for 2 people. Very high end fine dining. Definitely for special occasions.

The Workshop Eatery is a modern and spacious restaurant with an open kitchen that serves seasonal, locally-sourced New Canadian cuisine. One of their standout dishes is the Pan Roasted Chicken, featuring Morinville Colony chicken breast served with sides that change according to the season, such as morel mushroom risotto and buttered asparagus. The restaurant prides itself on offering a cozy atmosphere and a small but deliberate menu using local ingredients.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an amazing brunch at Workshop Eatery! The food was absolutely delicious—the eggs were cooked perfectly, the waffle was just right, and the chicken was juicy, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. The cornbread was to die for! The service was just as fantastic. Kayla, our server, had the most beautiful smile and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made our experience even better. If you’re coming from the airport or anywhere in Edmonton and looking for a great brunch spot, this is the place to go! It reminds me of the fantastic brunch restaurants in downtown Vancouver. Highly recommend!

Honestly for all the hype that I always heard about this place, I didn’t think Workshop could live up to it but dinner here was a complete 100🙌🙌 As everyone says, you MUST try the arancini to start! The crispy brussel sprouts were also delicious and a great size to share. We tried two of their drinks which were alright, a bit more on the sweeter side than I’d like. All the mains were delicious, arrived timely, and offered a refreshing take on classic dishes. Bonus for the local souring they do and just how well the food BOTH tastes and looks awesome. Place is also a vibe and staff are friendly and accommodating! Definitely check this place out when you have the chance🔥

This was my first time trying out The Workshop Eatery. We loved the atmosphere and the service was top notch. I had the Smoked Short Ribs, this dish was a lot of food and the flavor was just right, this definately was this hit at the table. We also had the mussles, the flavor on this was very different, if you like spicy you might want to try this out. We decided to take home the cheesecake gor dessert. We both absolutely loved it! We want to come back and try more of the food! Great place!

Tonight we had the pleasure of doing the Chef's Table at The Workshop Eatery. It was truly amazing! Each plate was paired perfectly with wine, the entire experience was incredible! In a word... WOW! Note: I asked for reduced amounts of wine, the pours were VERY generous!

Heading into this place was excellent. My boyfriend and I came in without a reservation, not knowing Saturday nights tend to be pretty busy. We were able to sit at the bar and our bartender, Harry, was absolutely amazing. We had their pickle ceasers ($11 for 1oz, $14 for 2oz) as he noticed we loved our pickles, Harry even gave us extra garnish. Which made me even happier! As I create my own cocktails, the ceaser tasted exactly like my own, and I couldnt get enough of it. We ordered the Workshop Pickle Jar for our appetizer; it was fantastic, great selection of pickled vegetables. Although, I wasn’t too keen on the pickled mushrooms, they were interesting, just not my favourite. For our entree, we decided on the Duck Duck, and the Mussels. The Duck Duck had these sweet mashed potatoes, which was something I’ve never tried before, and I loved every bit of the flavours they created. As for the mussles, I couldn’t get enough of the sauce. It was so creamy. I could have drank it as a soup. But didn’t want to be so gluttonous hahahaah. Anyways, this place is definitely worth while, obviously on the pricer side but WOW. Definitely worth it.

The soup of the day was a tomato soup thing and was good yet a bit spicy. Our other things were good though. Our service was pretty good except she was a bit creepy to me yet she was nice over all would recommend good lunch spot.

Went here on a Friday evening and loved the vibes! Service is very welcoming and breaks down based on dietary restrictions. I tried the cabbage and my friend ordered the hen, both of us enjoyed it. The potatoe chips with the onion dips were also very delicious. Deifinitely would try this place For brunch! The peach cobbler cheese cake was so amazing. I love how everything is local And seasonal!

I didn't have high hopes for the lettuce wedge salad with chicken. Not was I wrong. The butter lettuce was crisp sweet, well assembled. The breast of chicken was what all chicken breasts should look like. Moist, substantial, grilled to perfection. The dressing was an appropriate amount, not swimming in the bowl. The lager hit the spot. First time here, and keen to come back

LUX Steakhouse + BAR94 is a sophisticated chophouse located in downtown Edmonton. It offers dry-aged beef, a raw bar, and classic cocktails in a modern and polished setting. The restaurant has a rich history, having rebranded from its original name to introduce Bar 94, which contributed to its popularity. The menu features gourmet options like bison carpaccio, prawn cocktail, and the indulgent surf and turf platter for sharing.
One of the city's better places for steak -- a nice, trendy alternative over The Keg or Chop. The ribeye is always a great choice. Also would recommend trying out the bacon appetizer dish. There is a very capable bar service here and the drinks selection is pretty decent.

The customer service was beyond exceptional! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were okay and having a good time. It was also my mom’s birthday, and the staff surprised her with a birthday card which was very thoughtful! For the food, the portions were good the taste was amazing. The burger patties were well cooked and moist, the buns were soft. Everything was easy to chew. Although the truffle fries were a bit greasy, it did not take away from the taste: I will definitely be recommending this place! Kudos to the staff!
Lotanna D — Google review
Ordered 94’s chicken sandwich with their Caesar salad. Excellent choice for lunch- the bread was soft with a really well-seasoned chicken fillet, and probably the best part, it had avocado slices in it. The salad used real bacon, the lettuce was crisp, the cheese was sharp, and the fresh lemon wedge was a nice touch. Although I found the salad to be lightly dressed, it was great. Quick service, made it in and out within the hour for lunch time.

I'm from ontario and here for work. Was told that Lux steakhouse had the best steaks and that I needed to try it out. If I had to use one word to describe the food it would be INCREDIBLE!! Got the dry aged ribeye, the flavour profile was out of this world. Found myself taking smaller bites just to savour it more. For my side I got the lobster Mac and cheese and even though I normally not a fan of most Mac and cheese this dish is devine! The dessert and my espresso was fantastic as well. I found the staff super friendly and eager to help. And the atmosphere was super classy. Next time I'm in Edmonton I'll be sure to go again, as it was my best meal I've eaten out in a very long time. I'd highly recommend!!

I often heard my friends recommend it, but I didn’t understand why they were so excited about it. I decided to check if it was really so delicious there. And how shocked I was when I didn’t know what I wanted to try and they picked up food and drinks to my taste, it was a 10/10 hit 🤩 the food was very tasty, special thanks to the person who makes such wonderful meat, you have talent. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, the chefs know their stuff and I’m sure they have a great future with such talent. I will now, like all my friends, recommend this place with such enthusiasm. I recommend coming and experiencing this combination of atmosphere with great food and pleasant service!

The service and food here is beyond amazing, I had just chosen to go here on a whim and it turned out to be the best steak place ever. The staff are excellent, we had personal conversations and the manager of the store had come to personally ask how our meal was. It was also my boyfriend’s birthday and they had gone out of their way to give him a personalized birthday card. Is it expensive? yes but for this quality of food and service I would have spent double. Also what steak houses aren’t expensive these days, I cannot explain enough how amazing this experience was. 10/10 We will come back every-time we’re in Edmonton. (also the oysters are BEYOND delish)

Return there for an after work social. This time sit in the Bar. Food is amazing, service is fast and pleasant. Had apetizer, a few drinks and a main after. All tatsts to the quality. Fresh ingrediant. My grilled salmon is salty to my palate.

Service was great. But honestly, the food was less than expected for such high prices. $70 for a steak that includes no add ons or sides, and honestly didn't taste any better than a $20 steak from the market. The sides all tasted good, but are pricey. Overall a disappointing experience for an upscale steakhouse.

At The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Skyview, guests can indulge in a delightful array of classic steak and seafood dishes that perfectly blend style with a casual dining experience. Renowned for its expertly aged and marbled steaks, this restaurant also offers an impressive selection of prime rib, chicken, ribs, and fresh salads topped with various proteins. The ambiance is cozy and romantic, making it an ideal spot for special occasions like anniversaries.
I haven't been to the Keg in the last 2 years as my last experience at one of their locations was very lack luster and the sticker shock of their price increase wasn't great. Maybe I'm just more adjusted to inflation now than before? I don't know. I took a friend out for dinner and we ended up at The Keg in the north side of Edmonton. We ordered two appetizers, the cheese mushroom? Dip with chips and calamari. For mains we went with prime rib and I had the teriyaki steak, we got the main with caesar salad. With the bread, salad, and some appetizer, we were really full and ended up packing up most of our mains. Everything was good, I ended up just having a bite of my steak as the veggies and mashed potatoes filled me up.

When we arrived i bought some gift cards. Manager Catherine was a amazing to deal with and very polite. Hostess walked us to our table and asked if we needed anything which was also great. It was my birthday there was a bday card waiting for me, nice touch. Waiter Nathan was very helpful and easy to talk to as well as very professional. Great time and food was amazing The billy miners pie was a perfect meal ending Thanks

We four had dinner on a Sunday, with a reservation. Everything was great, particularly our server Selby. Our only comment is to mention that some tables are in the restaurant's 'walkways'. This means constant to-and-fro staff activity by tableside as they provide service to others - particularly if your table is 'centre aisle' as was ours. We very much recommend you ask for a banquette, or table on the side. A 5 Star experience, except the seating.

Came in on Tuesday happy hour, lots of parking. Food is good, service is good. Was going to sit in patio, but started raining, so we were siting in the lounge, which is very dark and the table is super small.

The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff seemed genuinely knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, providing helpful recommendations. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food and service justified the cost, making it a worthwhile splurge for a special meal or celebration. Overall, The Steakhouse is a solid choice for those seeking a high-quality steakhouse experience.

It was a Friday evening so I called 30 minutes before we wanted to be there and thankfully there was 1 opening for the lounge area. I said I'd be there in 20 minutes and thankfully it was still reserved but they stuck us in the smallest little corner where people weren't even paying attention to us. A guy who wasn't supposed to be our server noticed we didnt have any menu's or anything and asked if we had been seen yet. He was an excellent server paid attention all around. If it wasn't for him I would've been disappointed. The girl that was supposed to serve us apparently got embarrassed that she didnt notice us so he took over. Again he was great. He did mess up 1 of our orders and forgot the mushrooms and salad with 1 meal but he apologized and they took it off the bill, brought us the mushrooms right away and asked if we still wanted the salad. My bf said no but I said yes as he got the salad meal for the mushrooms and I wanted his salad. So that was all good after and handled well. Again it was Friday and busy. We didnt get asked if we wanted another drink until after we were finished eating. Which is ok cause we didnt want to spend too much as drinks are also not cheap. He did grab me a water since I asked then. I was disappointed that my prime rib came out very rare in my opinion. They said they cook it medium rare which I wanted but it looked raw and rare. I didnt complain because I didnt want my bf to wait forever for me to eat. I am grossed out about it though. It was still good but tasted and looked too under cooked. Twice baked potatoe was good abit small but portion size of meats were good and better than we expected. So yoy really don't need much sides. I would suggest cheese in the twice baked potatoe, didnt seem like it had cheese. I also would have loved a little carrots or some veg with my meal. Since I had mentioned it was my first time the guy mentioned when taking our order to save room for a dessert on them. Their nice sized free dessert was good and light. Dessert wasn't a cheap size (Billy miner pie). Over all I'll go back for sure im impressed with the quality of food. I almost forgot drinks were good I ordered a rose from bc and bf average beer and also we had an appy of crab cakes which were small but absolutely delicious!! Came with a small salad which was over powering of vinegar i choked a little but was still good lol.

I hosted a networking event here! It was the perfect vibe for our event. Attendees were able to order their own food or drinks at their expense. The planning process and booking the space was super easy and the service was 10/10! Well done MKT! See you soon!

Came here yesterday for the hockey game and my friends birthday. The service was great, our server was lovely, the atmosphere was fun and what not. Though the food was very mediocre for the price, 18-19 bucks for a poutine, 24 dollars for a pizza with literally just cheese, 18 dollars for lettuce wraps; uncooked noodles from a package with no protein, barely any vegetables. Our bill was 147 dollars I left and went to red swan down the street and got a large pizza with chicken ground beef green olives and cilantro for 15.50….

Management reached out to me as the date changed for the event (dueling piano show), and even if it was a slight inconvenience they were super kind about it and went above and beyond for it to work for us and even offered us refunds if it didn't work, and free shots when we arrived. Staff were so sweet. I love MKT and I have been going for years for different company Christmas parties, to Oilers watch parties with friends, to coworker gatherings, to brunch with my mother-in-law. It's always been incredibly fantastic. I even joke that people probably think this is my favourite spot in the city since I suggest it so often (but it is haha)

I was looking for a venue for our elopement reception that was a bit more intimate, had good lighting and that could accommodate 80 people, I had posted in a wedding group on Facebook and the event coordinator for century hospitality group, Natasha, suggested the private upstairs space MKT has. I emailed right away and she sent over photos, menus and all pricing information I requested. The pricing to us was budget friendly enough for our wallet. Firstly the upstairs space is very beautiful, they honoured the look of the historic train station this business is in and the intimacy of the lighting and dark colors offer a romantic ambiance. The communication back and fourth over email with Natasha over the last months has been so prompt, and detailed and organized. She never missed a question that I asked and even went as far as counting stairs for me and measuring tables, among many other things. Ontop of this; the day of the event was so seamless, and the staff were amazing. David, the manager went above and beyond for us and the girls bartending and working our event never made our guests wait for drinks, and cleared food and tables promptly. The cooks and kitchen staff were so friendly and accommodated our food requests, thank you chef! Everyone was impressed with the food and service and that made such a difference for stress levels for us. The only con of this event space is that the upstairs is not wheelchair accessible, with no elevator. Just keep that in mind if you have guests with mobility issues. Thank you so much to everyone that went above and beyond for us!

Back when I used to live here in Edmonton this was one of my favourite spots to go. I was a regular with friends. And my go to menu item was always the Next Act burger. So revisiting the area I naturally had to return and try that delicious burger again. It didn’t disappoint after all these years. The service was great too! Good old Next Act! 👍😎

Established food place off Whyte Ave. Food choices are limited, burgers, sandwiches and some shareable appetisers. All the food we ordered were quite good. Serving size way adequate. The MEAT donator was quite sweet and thus I was not impressed. The spinach dip was great. The specialty on the tap beer I ordered tasted watered down and lacked flavour. Service was great and the staff was friendly. Overall it was an okay lunch for me.

She gave us great suggestions, brought the food out so fast, and helped with anything and everything we needed. She was wonderful!! We are coming back solely because of her and of course the phenomenal dinner. Oh yeah, and the ambiance. We had the chips & dip (YUM!!); PB&J burger (IN-SANE!!!) and the chicken bacon Brie sandwich (can’t wait to eat that everyday for the rest of my life!!) We were eyeing up dessert but were stuffed! I had a lovely experience at the Parlour, and the food was wonderful. We starred off with the calamari, and it was quite filling. The sauce that came with it was incredibly delicious. A beautiful building in the Oliver district, close to Grant MacEwan. It is filled with windows and light. They have a massive patio surrounded by brick. When you step inside, there is a small seating area where you can wait for the hostess. A large circular bar takes up a good portion of the main floor and it is stunning. The wait staff is so friendly and welcoming. It has a very modern vibe with ironwork stairs leading up to the 2nd floor. The food is incredible and I highly suggest the Charcuterie. The wine selection is good. I went with a glass of bubbly and enjoyed my time at The Parlour Italian Kitchen. I will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere set the tone for a memorable evening — warm, lively, and perfect for sharing with great company. The experience showcased epic cocktails, beautifully paired wines, and a menu of Italian-inspired dishes crafted by Chef Matt, drawing inspiration from his Nonna. Each course was thoughtful and authentic, with flavors that melded seamlessly with the drink pairings. Our group of 20+ attendees felt completely taken care of, and the service matched the quality of the food and drinks — attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. The combination of Chef Matt’s culinary storytelling, the expertly designed cocktails, and the cozy-yet-vibrant atmosphere made for a truly special evening. Whether you’re going with a group or for an intimate dinner, Parlour delivers an experience that leaves you full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Highly recommended!

It's got a great vibe with excellent service from the staff. I recommend the cauliflower fritto as an appetizer, it was great for sharing among four people and tasted delicious. For pizzas, I enjoyed the 'you say potato', it had a subtle potatoey flavour that reminded me of Norwegian lefse, if anyone knows that. We also got the pollo alla diavola pizza, which came with fried onions on top. The onions looked great, but were rather soggy and chewy which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, we had a couple of ant issues, not sure if we were just unlucky or the building has some sort of ant problem. First there was a drowning ant in one of our waters when it was delivered to us, which the server sorted out quickly. Then later I found an ant crawling on my arm - I was resting my hand on the seat just before that, so I assume that's when it crawled on (FYI, we were seated inside, far from the entrance). I'm only mentioning it since it happened twice in a single meal. Overall, we still had a great time! I'd recommend taking advantage of some of their deals ($10 pizzas on thursdays, $15 pizzas during happy hour on weekdays from 3-5)!

Such a wonderful space. The kitchen needs some improvement. Our food came out way too fast. Gabby was awesome. Thanks for taking care of us.

Love it, so good, food is soooo good, tried the carpaccio, cauliflower, meatballs, and the chicken parm, soooooo good, me personally though for the chicken parm, I wish the chicken breast sat onto of the pasta not under, I think when it sits under it takes the “crisp” away from the chicken, it was still good but just a personal preference. The staff was really nice, wasn’t too busy, but the inside was beautiful. I will be back to try more !!

Food, service, atmosphere, all of the above. Celebrated a friend's birthday at Parlour and was very impressed. Our server was not only friendly and polite, but he actually seemed to enjoy interacting with his customers, furthermore, he took at least 7 orders at once and was accurate consistently throughout the evening. The food was AMAZING and the prices were very reasonable. The manager Josh who helped us with the booking was extremely professional and kind, and I'm honestly blown away, I haven't seen service at this level for a long time. 10/10 would recommend and absolutely will be returning in the future. Also there is ample parking.

Block 1912 Cafe, located on Edmonton's vibrant Whyte Avenue, is a popular spot for coffee enthusiasts and live music lovers alike. This cozy retreat offers an extensive selection of espresso drinks, sandwiches, gelato, and baked treats. The cafe's warm ambiance and rustic charm make it the perfect place to catch up with friends or enjoy a good book.
Block 1912 is such a wonderful and peaceful café – the kind of place where you instantly feel cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating and shelves of books that make it perfect for anyone who wants to relax, read, or just enjoy some quiet time. It’s a great spot to unwind with a cup of coffee, catch up with a friend, or simply spend time by yourself in a calm and cozy setting.

We went to try their pistachio cake. I don’t know what’s the hype but it is just a normal sweet cake. Latte and ganache mocha coffee are just ok. Sandwiches have big portions and the beef and quinoa soup are just ok for me. The ambience is a little dim so if you want to have a low-key or quiet date on a weekday, this is for you. There are a lot of tables so there is a space for everyone. Parking is available on the other block and you can just walk to the cafe. They have vegetarian options as well.

A cozy, charming, and atmospheric place. They offer a wide variety of desserts and display beautiful paintings that you can purchase. However, there are a few minor issues that could be easily fixed. Occasionally, some of the tableware is chipped or damaged, which negatively affects the establishment’s reputation. Also, one wall looks terrible — it’s dirty and patched up with plaster in several spots. And I would also add some music 🙂

A huge variety of sweet and savory options; they make sure to state ingredients, in case of allergies! I ordered a blueberry scone with an iced Americano: the cashier was very accommodating and kind when she told me they told me they didn't have the milk option I preferred, and made sure to check with me on the level of milk they added afterwards 🙏 the atmosphere is beautiful, rustic and homey. Can't wait to see what this place is like in the winter!

The coffee is great, especially the iced coffee, and the atmosphere is awesome so good to drink a coffee and Cill, the gelato was not gelato it was ice cream and I don’t not find it tasty. The other food items are good tho! Would recommend and an awesome location.

This cafe was one of my favourite spots to go to back when I lived here in Edmonton. I had hoped that it was still here when I came back for a visit. The coffee was great as usual. Great ambience and location. 👍😎

Block 1912 is definitely a unique spot on Whyte Ave with a cozy, artsy atmosphere that stands out from the usual café scene. The food menu is quite limited, but honestly, I don’t expect a huge selection from a café. Personally, I go for the pot pie—it’s my go-to and always satisfying. They also have a wide selection of desserts, though after trying a few, I found most of them not quite to my taste. The vibe, however, is usually great; there’s often nice music playing, which makes it a pleasant place to hang out or catch up with friends. That said, the biggest downside is the pricing. Compared to other options along Whyte, Block 1912 is definitely on the expensive side, which can make it harder to justify as a regular spot. Overall, it’s a cool, one-of-a-kind café that’s worth checking out, especially for the atmosphere and a pot pie, but be prepared to pay a bit more than you would elsewhere

Café Bicyclette is a charming and cozy counter-serve spot that offers a delightful mix of classic French and Québécois dishes, along with coffee and pastries. Situated across from the U of A's Campus Saint-Jean, it features a lovely year-round patio. Additionally, during the summer months, visitors can enjoy their Summer Music Series in collaboration with La Cite Francophone for an entry fee.
I visited the café today with a friend, and we ordered three items along with the café affogato. The Poutine Bicyclette was absolutely delicious—topped with a perfectly poached egg, bacon, and tender pulled meat. The portion was generous, featuring hand-cut round potatoes with just the right amount of gravy and cheese. Easily one of the best breakfast poutines I’ve had. We also loved the Salades d’Été—a refreshing mix of mango, avocado, and baby greens. It was light, vibrant, and something I’d definitely order again. The Poulet Croustillant was also quite good, but we were so full by that point we had to pack it to go. For coffee, I tried the café affogato with salted caramel ice cream, and it absolutely hit the spot. The combination was rich and satisfying. The staff were very friendly, the service was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We truly enjoyed our brunch meeting and look forward to coming back.

Café Bicyclette is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a cozy and inviting atmosphere that feels both rustic and elegant. The exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and charming decor create the perfect setting for a relaxed coffee date or a peaceful meal. If you’re looking for a café with great food, a welcoming ambiance, and a touch of European charm, Café Bicyclette is a must visit. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Enjoyed a fabulous evening at one of their 5 course gluten free special dinner events. Everything was gluten free. The chef came out to introduce every course. It was such a lovely evening. Attentive serving staff. Food was amazing. Very farm to table, locally sourced. 10/10 would recommend. My spouse who is not GF enjoyed the evening just as much as I did. They also do a wine pairing with each course if that's your thing. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great evening. This is such a hidden gem.

This restaurant/cafe is very charming. The food was amazing. I still think they make the best poutine you can find in Edmonton and one of the best I've had outside the city too. Good atmosphere, good service. Their outdoor area in the summer and fall is so cute!

First and foremost: their poutine is the best I’ve had in the city! It’s wonderful! It’s a beautiful cozy spot (with outdoor seating) to wind down for the afternoon! Staff are welcoming, friendly, and chatty. Free limited parking available by the adjacent lot (although I visited in the evening, during quiet hours) Keep in mind: during busy hours, it might be hard to find indoor seating!

My friend and I ordered the delicious salad d'ete with tofu. The lavender lemonade was nice. There was a jazz singer and musicians playibg at lunch. Fantastic. If I lived in Edmonton, I would be a regular.

My first time coming was just after touring La Cite Francophone for my wedding venue and we immediately fell in love with it. 1000/10 recommend the venue for any events, but it's also a beautiful spot for a date night (or date day!) The food is fabulous. I highly recommend the poutine (breakfast or regular) but you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Almost everything is gluten free too! The whole staff is bilingual and the place just oozes care for the community. I know from our wedding tasting that they work very closely with local farms and source a lot of their food locally. The staff also just clearly works together and supports and respects each other and it makes you feel like you're at home. It's such a unique dynamic. I can't wait to go back again and again!

We were attending a 7pm performance at the Fringe in the Service Credit Union theatre. We arrived at the restaurant at 5pm and were promptly seated. Our drink orders were taken and delivered. We gave our food order at 5:20. At 6 the server came by and said he had made a mistake in giving our order to the kitchen. He did not tell us when we could expect our food to be delivered and we did not ask him. By 6:15we knew our time was getting short to get to the theatre and we told another server we would need to cancel. She checked with the kitchen and they said the order was up. It was delivered at 6:20 giving us about 15 minutes to eat. Our original server never came back to our table and we had to ask other servers about our order and for our bill. The food was delicious but this was our least enjoyable dining experience in Edmonton. We would have preferred to provide our feedback privately but could find no way to communicate privately.

Nestled along the picturesque Sturgeon River, Riverbank Bistro is a charming dining destination in St. Albert that captures the essence of local culinary artistry. The vibrant restaurant scene in St. Albert thrives on innovation, and Riverbank Bistro stands out as a testament to this trend, providing delicious dishes that reflect global influences while celebrating local ingredients.
Very cute place to dine! We went on a casual date night, it was a great experience. Great Food! I would definitely say the salmon was on the saltier side. However both the fish and chicken dishes were juicy and tender. Definitely on the pricier side and you will have to wait for a bit as the meals took a while to come out.

Absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary, very intimate setting and the food was amazing! The burrata appetizer just melts in your mouth… I couldn’t recommend the food more!

We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Riverbank Bistro, and it was truly spectacular! We reserved the restaurant and patio side, where we carefully selected a menu and drinks that perfectly complemented our celebration. The ambiance was warm and inviting both inside and outside, and the patio setting enhanced the entire experience. Each hand-picked dish of the high-end appetizers was delicious, and the quality and presentation of the cocktails, wine, and beer were impressive. The service surpassed our expectations – it was exceptional! Dan, the owner and chef, exemplified professionalism and made the planning process seamless, as well as the management of the party. We wholeheartedly recommend Riverbank Bistro for any dining experience or special occasion. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!

Excellent food, excellent service. The atmosphere could be a bit more intimate. The appetizers and main course were amazing, the dessert was good but didn't live up to the other courses. They could do with a larger selection of non-alcoholic beer and cocktails. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. Update: we had our anniversary dinner last night in the lounge. The atmosphere was more intimate and quite lovely. They have updated their mocktail menu and their non-alcoholic beer selection. We had mushroom bruschetta to start, which was lovely with a beautiful mushroom flavor. The sourdough from breadlove was top-notch. I had the fish feature, absolutely delicious. The flavors were just perfect. My partner had the pork schnitzel and said it was very good. The creme brule for dessert was also very nice. One of my favorite restaurants for quality and flavor while remaining affordable. I'm excited to see their winter menu!

The Riverbank Bistro is situated along a river, therefore has beautiful views. The atmosphere is very traditional, warm and friendly. The food was excellent, great value for the price. The only downside, the service was a bit slow, so I wouldn't dine there if I was in a hurry. However, the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

Biera, located at Ritchie Market in Edmonton, is an elevated brewpub that offers a creative menu of small plates, desserts, and cheese paired with their own house-brewed beer or wine. The restaurant shines during dinnertime with its seasonal menu featuring signature dishes like house sourdough with cultured butter and sunflower seed and wheat berry risotto. The establishment also serves funky wines and thoughtful cocktails to accompany the top-notch Biera brews.
Maddy and Chris thank you 🙏 🌹 Beautiful beautiful place, really nice people, super awesome food, so delicious, location couldn’t be any better, environment is beyond this world gorgeous, it’s attached to the most beautiful Ritchie market. ** NOW CLOSED FOR BUSINESS ** My opinion, too big a venue and there are better valued establishments directly located in the brew pub district to the west Original review below (Summer 2024): Met for lunch, first time, was most impressed by the venue itself. Hidden gem in the Ritchie area which I seem to be fond of lately. Wide open, airy room, lots of sitting options (patio, restaurant, cafe, bar seating), we sat in the restaurant. Food choices are sufficient, we all had sandwiches-wraps and all were exceptionally prepared. I had the "grass fed" beef tartare (suggested) a good amount of beef-already placed onto a toasted bun. One lunch friend had a wrap and the other, the Trout Bagel (he liked)! One had beer the other two of us coffee, drip only available served in restaurant, but . . . you can purchase fancier coffees in the cafe and bring to your table . . . . hmmm, . . . be mindful of this unique arrangement. I will return and partake of other offerings.

I have to admit, when my husband took me here for dinner I was like "really, bar food?", but that cannot be further from what this gem is! I was so pleasantly surprised by this place! I can't even describe all the flavors happening in my mouth here, it was truly magical. Let's start with my drink. I don't usually venture off and order cocktails, but the server recommended it so I thought I would try. I believe it was called bikini bottom? So good, I had 2. It almost tasted like an old fashion but sweeter and with gin (go figure). Amazing. Let's move on to the cucumber salad, also recommended by our server. I think this was my favorite part of our meal. I could have drank the sauce on it. Again, it's hard to describe so just try it and thank me later. It was amazing. So many flavors and textures. Brilliant. For our meals we had the chicken and pork and both were amazing. Will definitely be back.
Megan D — Google review
The house chips were our favourite dish on the menu. When we saw that they were no longer on the menu we asked the waiter if the 'Chips & Dip' was the same thing and were told they were. What we received was not the same item. The Chips and & Dip were as thin as paper as opposed to the thicker House chips that were previously on the menu. It was disappointing to see the House chips replaced by what we saw as a straight downgrade. The other menu item we enjoyed was the Sourdough Nuggets. We were once again disappointed by what we saw. While the flavour and quality of the dish were still fantastic, the portion was noticeably smaller than when we had last come to Biera. The old portion had enough beer cheese to cover all the pieces of sourdough. Now there is barely enough for half. The saving grace of our meal was the Strawberry Kombucha which had strong hints of strawberry and had a perfect acidity to it. It was very disappointing to see the restaurant we loved fall off so hard.
Thomas J — Google review
Food was delicious. Would recommend sharing multiple plates. Portion sizes are a bit smaller and took a while to come out after ordering. Beer was also good and brewed in house. Move atmosphere. Update: went for brunch this time on Sunday. The food is different from your classic Brunch but still delicious.
Alicia N — Google review
I should say that before my experience today, Biera was already my favourite Edmonton restaurant. I first knew of them after Mai Nguyen mentioned them and Christine Sandford on MasterChef, and after dinning there a few times, I became a big fan. They are one of the very few restaurants in Alberta that not only understands and respects food, but also values sustainability in their use of ingredients. For example: they grind their own meat for the beef tartare, and instead of throwing the fat away, it is used in an emulsion served with the dish. Everything there is locally sourced and made in house. Their phenomenal homemade cultured butter and sourdough are some examples. I'm not a fan of getting salad at restaurants but I get the chicory salad every time: it's rare for a restaurant to use Belgian Endives and burnt orange that effectively (both have a bitterness). Elements in the pork shoulder dish are cooked perfectly, with the pork so flavourful and tender, the sauce adds to the pork but doesn't take away from it. I also don't often get steaks at restaurants but all the accompaniments that come with their steak make it SO worth it (you won't get better chips and jus elsewhere). The non-alcoholic drinks (house-made sodas and kombucha) are very reasonably priced (1/3 of the price compared to the average restaurant but is way better). Desserts are well-crafted and even though they look small, they are incredibly satisfying even to share. Not a lot of restaurants know how to use buckwheat in desserts, but they do! What I am most impressed by, is how the quality of their food, service and operation remains consistently great after Covid (when most restaurant struggled with quality) and after the departure of Christine in 2023. Now, onto today's experience. Two friends and I came in to dine. We ordered drinks, 2 main dishes and a small dish. While finishing the first dish, one of my friends got an allergic reaction. Him and I rushed to the hospital as our other friend Liam told us he’d stay and take care of the bill. When we met at the hospital later, Liam told me Biera did not charge us at all (the bill was probably $130+). They told Liam to not worry about it and just make sure our friend is okay, gave Liam the General Manager's contact info said they wanted to discuss how they can prevent incidents like that from happening again. They also packed and gave us the 2 main dishes, which is really generous. Thank you Biera, for every amazing experience I've had (I've had my birthday, anniversary there), for respecting what you do, and for being incredibly considerate. I will continue telling everyone about Biera and celebrate my special occasions there!

What a gorgeous space - modern, rustic, industrial...so nice! Bright open space with lots of natural light and tall ceilings. Loved the vibe! I love how it's nestled in the middle of Ritchie neighborhood along with other local businesses. Service was excellent! I loved how the servers explained the dishes when they arrived at the table. The food was creative, innovative and had really great combinations of local ingredients. Loved that the ingredients came from local producers! While I loved all the dishes we ordered, my one small criticism is some of the items were a little on the heavy side for sauces (and some of the sauces were super vinegary and a little too salty). I found this to be the case for the morel mushrooms and lettuce on the chicken. I would definitely go back to for more but would probably tell them to go lighter on the sauces and less salt? Their meats were to die for though - the chicken was so well cooked (so tender, juicy, delicious!!) and their minute steak was the best steak I've ever had. Also the sourdough with housemade butter and whipped lardo was really tasty! You must try the sourdough ice cream and creme fraiche bundt cake! You won't be disappointed. SO GOOD! Biera also gave us the liquorice marshmallow because of the overly salty food - we really appreciated this kind gesture. Overall, Biera is a winning combination of creative dishes, fresh/local ingredients and excellent customer service. We will definitely be back for more!

A perfect breakfast experience at Pip! Pip is a true gem for breakfast lovers. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and spotless. A great place to start your day. I had a lovely brunch experience at this restaurant! We were seated right away by the friendly and professional hostesses who greeted us warmly. Our server, Dani, was super friendly and made us feel right at home during our first visit. Our food arrived in just 12 minutes, and it was delicious! My only little critique was that I wish the food was warmer. The house hash was kind of cold when it arrived and I think it would’ve tasted better had it had been more fresh. It also would’ve been pleasant to have more options on the menu. Especially more options with fruit in them for the brunch menu. :) Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back for more! Went to Pip for the first time with my mom for brunch. The atmosphere is lovely, very modern and clean. Service was great, our server was very attentive and informed about the menu. I ordered a London fog and eggs Benedict. The London fog was lovely and rich, made with house made vanilla syrup. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I wished that the potatoes were a bit crispier and that there was more Hollandaise, but those are minor gripes. Definitely a great place for brunch.

I think this place is fun to come with your friends and have a drink, I don’t think it’s fun if you’re really hungry, but that’s just my opinion, the food is really okay, also when we order the salad, it came with a whole chicken. I didn’t understand that. It’s hard to pick up the chicken if you’re eating a salad. The pizza taste good don’t get me wrong but it’s really just okay. I don’t know, I think the drinks here are better and the atmosphere and just the vibe. My favourite thing about everything I eat was actually the fries… The fries were very, very good.

Just got takeout for the first time. Very unimpressed with portion sizes for the price we are paying. Do not even bother ordering the "Willy Wonky" as you will be highly disappointed. It is actually a laughable matter because how silly of a portion it is for the price. What are we paying $15 for when the dessert is the same size as my finger. You can have the cake for a couple dollars cheaper and be much more worth it in size, regardless of type of dessert. At a price like that you would think (and based off review photos for other desserts) its a decent/ shareable item. Even priced at $7.50 would be questionable. Super unsatisfied and probably wont be returning Edit: checked our mains a are missing our fries... either incorrectly ordered, or incorrect information displayed to the paying customers on the menu. Given wrong description and wrong idea, menu needs proof read. Or honour what is shown. Steak frites: steak and fries, says comes with fries in description. No other sandwich menu item has fries stated as staple food. Side would be chosen for any sandwich, including steak frites but not replacing fries. As per what the menu states. Or if thats not the case, have it reviewed and edited so there aren't errors and misinterpreted information

Very nice, casual lunch spot. The steak sandwich was perfectly done but just a tiny bit too salty. The Montreal smoked meat was a bit on the lean side but good. 4 stars because my recent visit to Schwartz’s can’t be beat! Enjoyed the fun mocktail and nice service. Great neighborhood option!

This was our first time here. I've always rode by on my scooter and always seen that it was busy. Finally decided to check it out. Glad we did! Awesome place to stop and have some patio drinks and some delicious food. Do they have a really nice patio it's a little bit small but if you're lucky enough to sit out there it's pretty nice. They have a decent happy hour menu and the food is great. Our server was amazing and very attentive. Everything was perfect for this hot day in Yeg! Next time we'll just park our scooters outside by the bike rack and come in to enjoy and relax! 😁

The Butternut Tree is a rustic-modern restaurant in Edmonton that showcases seasonal Canadian ingredients and local wines. Chef Scott Downey's focus on making vegetables the star of his dishes, alongside meat and seafood options, has made this spot popular for special occasions. The dining room features floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a beautiful setting for enjoying quality food and drinks.
Had a wonderful experience with my daughter on Saturday evening. The food was amazing. We each had the beef tenderloin and it was done to perfection. Isabelle, our server, was awesome - very friendly and knowledgeable. The view from our table by the window made for a pleasant fine dining experience. Definitely will be back!

We were married at The Butternut Tree in May 2025 and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Samantha and the entire team were incredible. They were highly organized, kind, and completely committed to making our day run smoothly. From planning to cleanup, everything was handled so seamlessly that we were able to just relax and enjoy every moment. The food was absolutely spectacular. We chose a tasting menu, and our guests are still raving about it months later. The cocktails were a huge hit too, the Alpine Meadow and mojitos were especially popular. Our late-night snack of poutine and churros was perfect (the churros were unforgettable!). The venue itself is beautiful, with natural light and stunning views of the Legislature. Having both the ceremony and reception in one space made the day so easy for us and our guests. What really set The Butternut Tree apart was the care and attention to detail. The team flawlessly executed the decor, were thoughtful with our guests, photography team, and officiant, and we even used the in-house pickles and preserves as game prizes! We are very grateful to Samantha, the Chef, and the whole team for helping make our wedding day magical. If you’re looking for an intimate venue that combines incredible food, beautiful views, and exceptional service, this is the best place in Edmonton to do it.

We had an exceptional experience at The Butternut Tree. Despite being very late due to unexpected roadblocks, the staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating, they seated us promptly and ensured we were still able to enjoy the full tasting experience without feeling rushed. Service throughout the evening was outstanding. The team was attentive, friendly, and checked in often, striking that perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. The ambience was elegant and inviting, upscale without ever feeling pretentious. We chose the tasting menu, which was beautifully balanced and well worth the price. Our standout dishes were the trout, scallops, broccolini, and beef, each thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavour. We also ordered the beef tartare as an add-on, which was absolutely divine and a must-try for anyone visiting. A special touch that really stood out was the complimentary prosecco offered when we arrived, a kind gesture that made us feel truly cared for. The featured white wine pairing (Ritchie-something) complemented the tasting menu wonderfully. Overall, The Butternut Tree delivers an exceptional dining experience, refined, thoughtful, and distinctly Edmonton. Highly recommend, especially for anyone who values excellent service, warm hospitality, and memorable food.

We had the Chef’s Seasonal Tasting Menu and everything was incredible - we couldn’t choose a favourite dish out of the 6 we had! Loved every bite. Our server was lovely and super helpful as well. Thank you so much for making it a special night! 💕

The Butternut Tree was a dream wedding venue to work with. The setting is beautiful, and needs minimal decorations. The food and drinks were the most important part to us and they were executed amazingly. The service during the event was top notch. The planning process was very smooth, organized and fun! I really appreciated how quickly Samantha would get back to us about questions throughout the planning process. The set up and take down services were ideal for us, every little detail was taken care of and our friends and family were able to also enjoy and relax the entire day as well. We do not have anything we would change about our experience having our wedding at The Butternut Tree and we would recommend it to any couple who is seeking a elevated intimate wedding venue.

First, the negative: Parking is a nightmare. Give yourself time to park along the street or take an uber. I wish it was more convenient to drive there. Second, the positives: The food is delicious, the servers are friendly & fabulous, and the atmosphere is amazing. The views you get from the windowed walls are spectacular. They also have a private dining room that can comfortably fit 12 people and is a great options for business meals or intimate celebration events. I did enjoy the food, although I do think it is overpriced for what you get. I didn't love every single item we ordered, but enjoyed most of it. I do wish there were a few more options for meals to order, but I believe the chef adds/rotates the menu each season. They have a fabulous drink selection and the servers are very knowledgeable in that area. It is wheelchair accessible, but would be a bit of a journey to actually get inside (re: parking nightmare and then navigating a steep ramp and elevator, etc.)

My husband and I chose The Butternut Tree for our wedding venue in September 2023 after going for a dinner there. Our wedding was July 2025 and the whole process was absolutely perfect. Their coordinater Samantha was very communicative without being overwhelming. Day of they absolutely met all our of expectations with set up, switching between ceremony and reception, and over all just amazing service ! The biers for the background of our ceremony were lovely, the space was great for the ceremony of 50 seated guests. The food was absolutely perfect for our reception, the staff were friendly, the bartenders kept the line going quickly. From getting to curate your own menu to the little touches they add I can not recommend them enough. They accommodated all dietary restrictions our group had & communicated thoroughly to guests about their needs. We have also been for dinner a couple times and we have always been so pleased with our time there !

We just finished the tasting menu with wine pairings at the Butternut Tree ,and it was fabulous. Wonderfully prepared food, relaxed atmosphere and our server Luke, was phenomenal. We truly enjoyed our first experience here with their seasonal menu and highly recommend trying the tasting menu as an introduction to the restaurant. The view is a bonus to a wonderful evening.

Wine bar
Small plates restaurant
Bar Bricco is a cozy Italian wine and Spuntini bar known for its top-notch Italian starters, pasta, cheese, and cured meats. Despite its small and dimly lit interior, the restaurant offers an incredible selection of Italian wines and playfully updated classic cocktails. The menu focuses on snacks and small plates perfect for sharing, including house-made pastas, imported cheeses, cured meats, and other delectable dishes.
One of our favourite restaurants throughout the years and since it’s been opened. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here, as everything is perfectly executed. But the agnolotti is swoon-worthy and a MUST. Food is fresh, simple with few quality ingredients yet yielding complex and elevated flavours. Ambience is casual but sophisticated. Service is attentive, fun, and knowledgeable.

Had a wonderful experience here, we love every single dishes and cocktails . Especially the tuna one. Also thank for our waitress for providing excellent service. She made us feel so welcome! Her smile and positive attitude made the experience even better.

Tried Bar Bricco, and it was such a wonderful experience! I had the housemade whipped ricotta with fresh bread — simple but incredible — and a half order of their ravioli pasta in sage butter sauce, which was perfectly rich and balanced. I topped it off with the Delavoye chocolate truffle, a beautiful collaboration with a local business that made the whole night feel extra special. The bar and wait staff were fantastic — super friendly and happy to share the story behind the restaurant. Plus, the wallpaper covered in different birds was such a unique, charming touch. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in Edmonton!

Best food I’ve had in a long time!! Absolutely amazing service from both the waitress and bartender. My husband loved their olives so much that they gave us a small container to take home. I can’t wait to come back here. Best pasta I’ve ever had! And hands down best service! Thank you for making my birthday a memorable one.

Bar Bricco was a wonderful restaurant overall. We ordered the tasting menu for two, and it was very thoughtful of our server to ask if we had plans afterward to help pace our experience. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Toward the end, the service slowed, and we eventually had to ask our server about the remaining courses. We understood it was a busy evening, but the timing caused us to rush the final part of our meal and request the bill together so we would not miss our show. Although our server did not acknowledge the delay, the quality of the food truly stood out. We would gladly return for the amazing flavours, and we hope for a smoother service next time.
Paul A — Google review
There might only be a few food options but pretty much everything on the menu is fantastic and high quality. The prices seem a bit high but they're entirely justified. The place is a little cramped and loud as it's frequented by the after-work crowd in the late afternoon. That and the bathroom is at the end of a weird dark hallway and it isn't marked clearly. A bit confusing but I think it's by design.
Safi K — Google review
The food at bar bricco is decent, the panna cotta dessert was a bit liquid but the other dishes were quite good. The egg yolk ravioli and the agnolotti were both perfect as usual. However the service was completely off putting. We were a table of five and ordered 14 small plates. Not once did our server come by to switch out cutlery or plates. This restaurant charges a significant amount of money for small dishes, which is not the problem, but for these prices I would except the restaurant to at least offer change in cutlery once or twice between 14 small plates. Secondly the waitress would come by take away our drinks but not ask if we wanted anything else. We would always have to flag her down and ask for another drink. It was also very strange to see her laughing and joking with every table but was quite stand off ish with us. We had asked for our check and it took 10-15 min to get it to us, we saw her laughing and joking around with a table, and then when we finally got our check it was a very curt “thanks” and just walked away. There was also an extremely obnoxious table in our area that was screaming and speaking so loudly, even after they had cleared the table they hung around our table speaking so loudly and continued to be obnoxious and disruptive. None of the employees managed that, they just allowed it to happen and didn’t even come by to apologize for how disruptive the behaviour was. Maybe they didn’t notice but it created a really unpolished atmosphere. Unfortunately this was not a great experience for us.

Restaurant
Bündok is a stylish restaurant located on 4th Street Promenade in the Ice District of downtown Edmonton. The name, derived from 'boondocks,' reflects its mission to celebrate the community through an inventive menu and inviting space. Chef-owner Ryan Hotchkiss offers seasonal small plates paired with craft cocktails and cider, such as beef carpaccio, kale salad, and sea bream crudo.
I took my girlfriend for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and Meera took care of us from the second we walked in. Prior to our reservation , I reached out about getting access to the Valentine’s Day set menu and Meera was more than happy to accommodate my request. When my girlfriend informed Meera of her food allergies, she offered an alternative dish as part of the main course and gave us both desserts from the set menu without extra charge. The smoked olives were delicious, the smoke flavour was strong and it was beautifully neutralized by the slight bitterness and tang of the citrus. My girlfriend and I loved the fried chicken skins and joked about cancelling the rest of the meal for five more orders. It’s that addicting. The steelhead crudo was refreshing, zesty, and a delicious way to cleanse the palate. The gnocchi was otherworldly to say the least. My girlfriend only had a few bites due to her food allergies and it broke my heart to eat the whole plate alone. Luckily for her, she had the deep fried cauliflower as a substitute and it was, I quote, “very filling”. As a steak lover, I was very excited to try the striploin with the black garlic butter. The cook was perfect (although personally I would have rendered the fat cap a little bit more, but that’s just me being nitpicky) and the sauce (I’m assuming peppercorn) tied everything together. Finally, the chocolate crepe cake and the citrus posset were both delicious, with the former having the ability to put you to sleep from how fulfilling it was, and the latter having the perfect balance of sweetness and citrus to leave your palate feeling refreshed. 10/10. We walked out feeling full, happy, and a bit tipsy (get the equinox, I’m far from a cocktail guy so I won’t pretend like I know what i’m talking about but trust me ). Overall, the service was amazing and so was the food. If you want every date night to feel like Valentine’s Day, stop by for dinner.

Love the concept and most of the execution of this restaurant. The food was generally good with the exception of the tartine and rillettes dishes. They do arrive already spread onto the toast, which a fine, but the versions on the night we where there where every sparse on the accompanying toppings. For example, the huge piece of bread had a good amount of the whipped chicken liver tartine, but only a couple of pickled cherries. This just made it kind of useless. When you actually had everything together in one bite it was good. Would have been better to have the items more chopped and dispersed if you are going to pre do it all in the kitchen. That being said, the gnocchi was good as was the broccoli. The pan roasted hen, 5 spice rub, mushrooms, tamarind & miso butter was probably one of the best things that I have had in awhile. I was more than happy that it came with mushrooms instead of the green beans it showed on the menu.

Positives: - nice ambiance. - chicken skins, bread with dill butter, chicken liver was very good. Would definitely order again. Okays: - tar tar is a staple anywhere I go. Their bison tar tar didn’t look appealing when we received it, I think it was the layout. I’m used to tar tar stacked and this was spread out on the entire plate and I found the chunks too big. If you’re trying tar tar for the first time or are sensitive to texture, I wouldn’t recommend. - steak. We asked for medium rare and we received in our opinion medium. We order steak everywhere we go and we know medium and medium rare. We did ask for the steak to be cooked differently and when they brought it back it looked the exact same. We did take it home and it was good in flavour just wasn’t cooked the way we wanted it. I would still recommend the steak. Meh: - we had our reservation for opening (5pm) and they quickly ran out of the beer we liked so that was a little whatever. - I asked for a michelada and they put the Caesar rim on the tall full glass of Clamato and had the beer in another glass with no rim…. - had a dirty martini and my glass was not polished, there were water stains on the entire glass and a couple of floating specs in my drink (I did not mention anything as this was my first drink and first time there and didn’t want to be annoying, but it all added up) - upon ordering appetizers I mentioned the chicken skins, bread, chicken liver and tar tar all at once, our server only punched in the bread and then when it was brought to our table asked us if we wanted more…. She told us it was her bad for not ringing in the other items. Fine, totally fine but, there was so many opportunities for her to step up on her service but, she didn’t. Overall, the food was good, service was meh and I might come back here but not for anything special. Just a quick bite.

Here’s a fun, playful foodie-style review you could drop straight onto Instagram: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Soft boiled egg that was a little taste of the good life, fluffy gnocchi that felt like little clouds, crudo that was straight-up perfection, and a nectarine + tomato salad with goat cheese custard that tasted like sunshine and decadence. Oh, and the steak? Total main character energy — done to perfection. Bündok, you’ve officially stolen my heart ❤️
Natalie A — Google review
Food was good but service was excellent. The gnocchi came out and it was clearly oversalted, the server apologized right away and took the dish off our bill. Would def come back again. The fried chicken skin and tartare were my favourite.

Cute little restaurant not too far from Grant Mac. Reason we chose this place was for the good reviews on the liver pate and they did not disappoint! It is a sharing plate restaurant which we knew before going and were quite happy with as we were able to try a number of dishes. From start to finish, each dish was so good. Our hostess/waitress was very friendly and prompt. We had a reservation in case there was a lunch crowd but we were the only ones there. Probably still a good idea to have one just in case. Hard to say which dish we liked the best - definitely try the parmensan soup and smoked olives...and of course the liver!

Disappointing Dining Experience at Bündok My wife and I dined at Bündok last year, drawn by its inclusion in the Amex Platinum card’s international dining benefits from Singapore, which covered $200. We ordered several dishes, including cocktails, soup, beef strip-loin, roasted chicken, and chocolate cake. Unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing. The service was subpar. The bartender, who also served us, spilled a few drops of soup on our table while serving and neither apologized nor cleaned it up. The food was equally lackluster—the strip-loin and chicken were dry and flavorless, and the chocolate cake tasted stale (1/10) To make the matter worse, the bartender who also served us rudely approached me to relay a complaint from another table about my footwear (Crocs) and posture, which felt rude and unnecessary. Another server (our main server) kindly apologized for their colleague’s behavior, but it didn’t salvage the experience. Spending over $200 for mediocre food (1/10) and uncomfortable service was frustrating. We won’t return.

Donut shop
Doughnut Party Brewery in Edmonton is a must-visit for donut enthusiasts. The shop offers an ever-changing selection of imaginative and delicious donuts, with flavors ranging from elevated classics to unique seasonal concoctions. The scent of deep-fried dough wafts through the air, drawing in patrons from blocks away. What sets Doughnut Party apart is its focus on creativity and flavor, with more than half of their offerings being vegan.
Love the artsy twist on childhood favorites like the Confetti Square Platter doughnut and Nanaimo Bar doughnut — way less sweet than as a kid (a good thing)! The preorder system on the website didn’t allow for multiple festive boxes in one transaction, causing some confusion and leaving us short by six, but management at the Brewery District location was amazing. They quickly did up the extras in time for our Christmas party. Delicious donuts and stellar service — thank you, the drive to Brewery from Ritchie was a little hassle. Highly recommend the festive box! Here’s a quick glimpse. Confetti Square Platter 💁‍♂️ - nostalgic peanut butter glazed doughnut, topped with rainbow marshmallow & butterscotch confetti squares (contains peanuts) Candy Cane Lane 🎅 - vanilla glazed doughnut, topped with a chocolate drizzle and decorated with festive candy M&M lights Nanaimo Bar 🍫 - chocolate glazed doughnut, topped with housemade Yum Yum crumb and finished with a custard buttercream rosette (contains walnuts) Holiday Cookie Party 🍪 our classic bday cookie crumble doughnut with a holiday twist; finished a jolly red buttercream rosette and crushed peppermint candy canes! Raspberry Pistachio Holiday Bun (v) 🎄 - the DP maritozzo, an Italian-inspired doughnut spread with raspberry jam, filled with whipped “cream” and topped with chopped pistachios and a dusting of icing sugar (contains pistachios) Popular Witch 🧙- strawberry rose glazed doughnut, topped with a Wicked tasty cookie crumble and a duelling green apple and cotton candy buttercream rosette. Finished with crispy strawberry pearls!

I’ve been coming to this Doughnut Party location in the brewery district for years, including when it was located in its former spot just north in the Oliver area. Back then, you would have had to get there early early because donuts would sell out by noon or 1 PM. This location is opened earliest and they do stock later into the day. The store is bright, clean, and full of personality—the brand is smart, creative, and totally dialed in. But of course, it’s the donuts that keep people coming back. These aren’t just donuts—they’re mini cakes shaped into donut form, each one packed with flavour and fun. The variety is there usually, and while they are definitely sweet-that’s exactly the point . . . it’s an occasional treat. Grabbed a few for a road trip up north through Alberta today—pretty sure the clients up there will appreciate and have more than a few sweet things to say.

As I was getting out of my car to enter another store, I could smell the baking of doughnuts! I followed my nose and it brought me to Doughnut Party! OMG!! As I walked in for the first time, I just melted with the aroma of doughnuts being made. So many to choose from. I got 2 glazed, 2 knotted and coconut! I had to put them in the back seat driving home, otherwise there wouldn’t be any left. I never went to the other store! Go check this place out. Mornings are best!!

We stopped by here for a sweet treat after having lunch nearby. There's a bunch of parking available in the plaza. They have a bunch of options available, everything looked so delicious and tasty. We just got one doughnut: the Summer Fog Long Jane. It had a strawberry and earl grey glaze on top. I was intrigued by it so we got this and it was delicious. The glaze was light, sweet, and flavorful. I love anything earl grey and it was wonderful. However I feel like I tasted a little more strawberry rather than earl grey. It would've been nice to have the earl grey flavor pop out a little bit more. The doughnut was great nonetheless. But what really surprised me was the doughnut dough itself. It was light, chewy, and unlike other doughnuts I've tasted before. It reminded me of desserts with a mochi-like consistency. Maybe they add a little bit of mochi flour in the dough, or something similar to that. Whatever they put in that dough is magic because it was so delicious. We only had space for one doughnut haha, but in the future I know we'll order more.

Our favourite doughnut shop! Would recommend pre-ordering online and picking up in store to ensure you get the ones you want - they sell out fairly quickly! Great flavours and always fresh - definitely a must-try.

We had Doughnut Party doughnuts as favours for our guests after our wedding! They were absolutely delicious, most guests enjoyed them the next morning and sent us pictures of them with their morning coffee and doughnut- which was super fun for us. The staff was very helpful when we were communicating with them about this months in advance; and pickup was a breeze for my brother and sister in law the day of the wedding. I wanted to have all of my favourite food on my wedding day so of course it had to include Doughnut Party! This was a really nice touch to finish off our wedding day and we are so glad we decided to do this for our guests!

Nestled in Edmonton, Loma House is a charming family-owned vegetarian restaurant that has been delighting diners since 2010. This eclectic eatery specializes in crafting mouthwatering Pan-Asian dishes, with a focus on innovative soy-based meat substitutes that elevate the vegetarian dining experience.
This is absolutely one of the best vegetarian restaurants I’ve been too. We had some amazing food, every dish was excellent. Service is fast and prices are very good. This is a special little restaurant. Definitely give it a try.

LOMA is for sure the treasurable vegetarian restaurant in Edmonton! Once you taste the food, you can really feel the chef’s heart in the dish. Me and my husband ordered the fried mushroom as our appetizer. Also selected beef fried rice and vegetarian sweet and sour meatball bento as our main courses. Bento comes with the refreshing jasmine lemon green tea. I could say here offer one of the best fried rice in Edmonton! Everything is tasty! We keep some items which we will definitely try next time! LOMA will not go wrong❤️❤️❤️

The food tastes authentic, but the portions are comically small. Photo 1 is “10 dumplings”. For how easy it is to rack up a large bill here, they don’t give you much. Also, much of what was listed in the regular menu wasn’t available for take out. We were disappointed and will continue looking for our go to veggie resto in Edmonton.

We’ve been twice and had wonderful food both times! The gentleman serving is very kind, and the whole environment feels very welcoming. I would recommend everything that I’ve tried. Vegan dim sum is hard to come by, too!

Such a cool place! I am not vegan but man... some of these dishes really make you wonder why you aren't. Vegan dim sum. I love the play on all the textures and the time taken to carefully prepare the food. Favorite highlights were the steamed buns with crispy tofu and pickled coleslaw. The tempura enoki mushrooms were stellar as well. This place also has a great selection of teas ranging from light floral teas to heavier green teas!

My first but definitely not my last time eating here. Everything was so flavourful, fresh and warm. I can't express how great this restaurant is! The food was delicious and flavorful - was pensive going in but wow they fully impressed. We had the daily special, it came with soup, a main and a dessert. We were a bit hungry so we ordered wontons and pot stickers as appetizers. EVERYTHING was delicious! There was great flavor profiles and generous portions. The Oriental Beauty tea blend was a great accompaniment to the meal. We loved their teapot so much, we bought one on our way out! Restaurant
Sunbake Pita Bakery is a popular counter-serve spot in North Edmonton, offering a variety of Middle Eastern fare, including grab-and-go options and a nut bar. The bakery is known for its amazing pitas, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. In addition to freshly baked pita bread, the bakery also offers chicken shawarma wrapped in saj, chicken veggie melt, fatayers, and manakeesh.
I ordered a whole chicken from Sunbake Pita Bakery, and wow It was amazing! The chicken was cooked over charcoal, so it had this incredible smoky flavour and was super juicy and tender. Honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. It came with a pita bread, pickles, and the creamiest garlic dip that took everything to the next level. The whole combo was just perfect. If you’re craving something full of flavor and cooked with care, I’d totally recommend giving this place a try. I’m already looking forward to my next order!

Buyer aware. Food quality is great, but you will be overcharged over 27% and you won’t get the order you paid for, but something cheaper and similar. We ordered Skawee Deluxe in sliced pizza box, Zaatar Deluxe, sausage and yogurt (2). Paid $28.27. Instead we received Skawee in sliced pizza box, Zaatar and Meat Pie… plus yogurt (2). All worth of $22.21 total. The establishemt extra profit of $6.06 (27.29%). Lesson learned: open your packaged food before you drive far away from the North End of the city. I have supporting photo evidence of this fraud.

Since the renovations they now offer whole rotisserie chickens with all the fixings, beef shawarma sandwiches, take home hummus, baba ganoush, garlic sauce, falafel and mini fatayer trays!! The store is always clean and the service is always welcoming, friendly and generous!

Clean and efficient food services. Staff is helpful. Authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Their rotisserie chicken with garlic sauce and pickles is super delicious. Check it out, and you'll keep coming back for more.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants fresh delicious, quality, affordable halal food.

Shawarma lovers, look no further. Alex's chicken shawarma is the best my entitled tastebuds have ever had. How is it this good? The first bite brought me back to my first properly grilled steak with the grizzled fat. Yes, grilled steak. That first bite. Hmm mm.

If restaurant is closed for orders 30-40 minutes before the posted time on google, at least be nice while telling that to the customer who had come, thinking it is open. Lady with glasses, on seeing us entering, very rudely told we are not open!!. Be nice, as you are not going to be forced to take the order. I have been a regular customer but will not visiting anymore.

What a gem! This place is not only visually stunning but also offers incredible food and top-notch service. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful, with every corner thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. The menu is full of delicious options, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making the entire experience even better. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food in a beautiful setting with excellent service. Can’t wait to come back!

Baiju SLAPS!! This is hands-down one of the coolest spots in Edmonton. I 100% guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere? Bomb 💣. The winterized patio is a total vibe—with a stunning mural, live DJ, and a crowd full of effortlessly cool people. Friday night energy here is classy meets chic. Cocktails are fun, flirty, colourful, and insanely tasty. Food? My friends and I shared several dishes, and every single one exceeded expectations. Absolute flavour fest. The staff was approachable and friendly. You can tell this place runs on strong team energy—runners, bussers, and servers all stepping in where needed. It feels like the ownership group is tight-knit and genuinely passionate about the experience. It shows. Bring your friends if you want to impress!!

I was recommended this place. I had the chicken wings and a Vietnam Weds special, it was very good!! Jake was super friendly, he recommended a lot of places for me to explore. This place is highly recommended.

This lovely spot is in a great location, right around the corner from Roger's Place. It has quirky fun decor with a warm, low light indoor dining area and a sunny outdoor patio. They play awesome old style rap. The bar was very full and understandably why! They churn out delicious cocktails, favourites being Baijiu Barbie & Last Days in Vietnam. The good was delicious!! We particularly loved the deviled tea eggs (so different) and the dumplings. The Bao was fabulous with the nicest texture. The shrimp spiced chicken wings were good but the portion was huge not leaving much space for anything else. We'll definitely be back. A new favorite

Amazing time Friday the 12th from 6:30-8:30 for a Bachelorette party. Our server did an amazing job looking after us he checked on us often and was quick to get us both drinks and food. He was friendly and had a great memory when it came to what we ordered. And looked after me with providing a Gluten free menu and Letting me know they had a gluten free fryer.

Baiju is a must-try in Edmonton! ⭐ The shrimp bao was my favorite, followed by the pork, with chicken last on my list. Every bao had its own unique flavor. Don’t forget the chili mayo—it takes them to another level! Plus, the service was outstanding—warm, fast, and welcoming.

Great spot to grab a bit or drink! Outdoor patio for warmer months and a cool bar inside. Head there before a game or concert as it’s close to Rogers. Great spot for modern Asian food and cool vibe!

Fat Franks is a popular restaurant with delicious food and great atmosphere. It's perfect for a quick bite or to take on a date. The menu has something for everyone, and the staff is always happy to help out.
I remember back many moons ago I would always enjoy the Fat Franks Hot Dog cart on the Legislature Grounds on lovely summer days. And well I forget there are actual brick and motar shops now! Dosent disappoint! Love the hot dogs here. Off the menu or build your own! Don't forget they have a huge selection of various sauces and toppings to top your burger with on the side!
Kay L — Google review
If you're a hotdog enthusiast and are looking to have a elevated and interesting hot dog experience then this is the right place for you! Things are a little on the pricier end but from what I know, they source their ingredients– or their beef at least– from high quality and local sources so you're paying for that quality as well.
Safi K — Google review
Only 1 person working and I was in a hurry. Right infront of me she packaged my fries in this used container with gravy all over inside. I was absolutely at a loss for words that she did this and especially right infront of me. Also the fries look like they were cooked in old oil. I am disgusted and won't be returning.
Sarah K — Google review
The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Whenever we order food, it comes quickly. They have a few tables with chairs & bench/booth seating. They also have a booster seat and highchair for use, if you need them. There is ample parking in the lot surrounding the building. They have a washroom onsite. They have a large selection of help-yourself toppings and sauces. You can order to stay or take it to go. They have daily specials for a discounted price OR an extensive menu to choose from. They also have a kids meal for the littles. It's a great spot to enjoy something quick & different for lunch.
Marisa S — Google review
The food is usually good (burnt today) - typically best veggie dog in the city. However, the service is exceptionally slow. 35 minutes to get a hot dog and poutine at lunch. Made me late for a meeting. I'd love to support this place but it's just too slow.
Kyle F — Google review
Owner comments on other reviews to check prices before purchasing.... well if the quality was better than below average, the price would be tolerable, but at fat franks they charge you a premium for below average quality. Get a grip. Place has gone down hill! Take out order was slop in a to go container, cold and bland.
Mark B — Google review
One of the untidy restaurants in Edmonton, the short guy with glasses working on food cart at st.albert farmer's market was smoking a cigarette and was cooking the hotdogs on the grill without even washing hands. And the owners are too cheap to hire staff as only single person was working in the restaurant. It used to be one of the best restaurants 6 years ago.
John A — Google review
Wow! Ive been to the fat Frank's hot dog cart before, but never the walk in restaurant, and boy was I surprised when I saw all the different things you can get! Of course being overwhelmed with the decision, I stuck to the main thing that keeps me coming back to FF. The chili cheese dog is my favorite, their in house chili is top notch! And the husband chose the Hawaiian dog, don't let the name fool you, that baby has a bite! I will definitely be heading back again!

Celebrate, Gluten-Free Inc. is a delightful bakery located on Stony Plain Road in Edmonton, Alberta, that specializes in gluten-free treats. This beloved spot has gained a loyal following for its delectable offerings, including chocolate eclairs that even non-Celiacs can't resist. Their freshly baked bread serves as the perfect foundation for mouthwatering sandwiches like grilled ham and cheese. Sweet lovers will be spoiled for choice with an array of jelly-filled donuts, tarts, squares, and frosted cupcakes.
Ordered cupcakes online so that I could be sneaky and use them as a way to ask my best friend to be my maid of honor. I left a note asking if they could write the question in the box and they did! It took them a few minutes to track down which box was mine but it was ready to go. The cupcakes were delicious and neatly decorated. We also ordered some chocolate chip cheesecake bars to take with us, those were to die for! I am gluten intolerant so it was wonderful to have a bakery option that was affordable, delicious and without consequences! It was a beautiful experience.

What a place! Top notch service yummy snacks and good coffee. The service was really excellent it felt personal and caring. Alice and Cora are top notch. Management: Remember this review when raise time comes up. This is a delightful cool Oasis just a step away from the chaos of the torn up streets. I had a coffee and a caramel square and I must say both were very nice. Less than full marks On decor and atmosphere as it is a little sparse in the back but I think it's underdevelopment or something's going to happen there soon. I'm definitely going to bring back and if you do have any celiac or gluten sensitive friends this is a wonderful place to bring them. I have to tell you and I didn't realize it was gluten free until I started reading some of the other reviews. I'm happy they're finding such delicious snacks, but for the rest of us it's just a great bakery with great service and a nice place to have a quiet coffee.

Wow what a selection of GF very tasty an excellent service from the staff they are excited about their product. I got sweet treats for a dinner, bread and butter pudding, Berry crumble, cheesecake and cinnamon roll. GF friends loved them and as a non GF person if l hadn't known l would not have guessed. Also bought pizza bases as a gift, have since had another dinner with them and they were fantastic Parking is ample behind the shop while hectic roadworks go on but great shop.

I'm not gluten free but I found this place as I had work training nearby. I didn't really know what to expect foodwise, but I was so impressed! I ordered the turkey sandwich, angel food cupcake, a drink and some cheese buns to go. The food was extremely filling and the space is so fun. The staff are also so lovely and helpful with recommendations. Can't wait to come back during my training to have lunch again ☺️

5-Star Review for Celebrate Gluten Free Celebrate Gluten Free is truly a gem for anyone navigating a gluten-free lifestyle! From the moment I walked in (or placed my order), I felt like I had discovered a place that really understands what it means to live gluten free—not just as a dietary restriction, but as a celebration of delicious, safe, and creative food. The variety is outstanding—whether you're craving fresh-baked cookies, cupcakes, breads, or savory snacks, there's something for everyone. You’d never know these treats are gluten free; the textures are spot-on and the flavors are rich and satisfying. It’s clear that quality ingredients and care go into every item. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help with recommendations or allergy concerns. Celebrate Gluten Free isn’t just a bakery—it’s a reminder that food should be joyful, inclusive, and safe. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy gluten-free treats without compromise!

This place is a true gem! After being diagnosed with gluten sensitivity I’ve tried many gluten free goodies, and the ones from Celebrate are definitely my favourite, and get the closest in taste and texture to the real deal. It was like I was a kid in a candy store with the variety of goodies I was able to select from. The staff is also fantastic and brought a smile to my face with their warm personalities. Thank you Celebrate!!

The best Gluten free bakery around! I think the best thing I ever had there was a cream pie of some sort. Sadly it's not made often but it should be. Everything I've had is so good.. some of my favorites.. coconut cookies, chocolate croissants (actually buttery & flaky!!),.lemon tarts, lemon filled donuts, skor square, cinnamon sugar twists to name a few! They can make fresh sandwiches to go as well. Only down side is the soy products used, but sometimes I just don't ask and eat it anyway. But for soy allergies please be aware and ask before. The front road construction is a nightmare but there is a lot in the back for parking.
Sandy L — Google review
Literally the best gluten free bakery I've ever been to. Every time I go there's something new to try. I always pre order the core staples that I like to ensure are there for me and then buy a few extras in store that aren't listed online. What's listed online is probably half of what they have in store. If possible try the honey buns and/or the pumpkin roll/moon cake. Probably the best thing I've ever had. They also have gluten free sandwiches and coffee shop type drinks. The sandwiches are made with their cheese buns so you know they're deeeeelicious.

If you're looking for a charming spot for a romantic evening, Tryst Wine & Small Plates in downtown St. Albert is the perfect destination. This delightful family-owned restaurant prides itself on supporting local producers, ensuring that every dish and drink reflects the community's flavors. With options to dine on a cozy heated patio or in an intimate indoor setting, you can expect exceptional service throughout your visit. Tryst encourages sharing with its diverse selection of small plates—ideal for couples wanting to sample various culinary delights together.
I brought my wife to Tryst for her birthday, and what an amazing meal! The menu selections were fantastic and the portions were a perfect size to share. Our server was great, and we left comfortably filled. Oh, and the Blackberry basil Old fashioned.. three thumbs up
Nathan S — Google review
I hate giving low ratings to local businesses but the food here is very sub-par with service being average at best. The short-rib ravioli was quite bland and the meat inside was very dry. The KFC had a sour taste and was greasy as well. I liked the garlic butter fries and the bread with butter though. I’m not sure if I came on an off day since Tryst clearly has very good reviews. The dishes sound creative but the execution unfortunately missed the target completely.
Ivy H — Google review
Tryst is such a great restaurant in St. Albert!! Every dish had such great detail towards all the dishes they make! I loved the fries and KFC was so delicious! Flavourful, tender and crispy! But the highlight for me was the brussel sprouts! So welcoming, packing lots of flavours !!
Herbert C — Google review
Food was fantastic. Lovely idea for dates or to catch up. Little share items/tapas. We had a great time. Recommend the KFC and the Gnocchi! Bussels were delicious, perfectly cooked with a tinge of bacon in every bite. The old fashion and cranberry orange martini were fantastic and delicious. The ginger pear is more suited for sweet tastes, just the right amount of sour mixed in. The New york sour appears very sophisticated with a very deep, mellow taste - great to telieve an edge after business hours. Cheers to the bar tender! Erika was sociable and fantastic. She went beyond her job of a waitress. She talked to us like friends who haven't met for a while. She took great care of us.

Tryst Wine and Small Plates is a quaint restaurant in the heart of St. Albert by the Arden. The service on this night was wonderful. Our server was extremely positive and helpful. We enjoyed our cocktails immensely. The space is great. It's difficult to manage the temperature in the winter when the doors opens however as it's one singular space. You can get a cool breeze now and again. Now to the food. There is so much potential here. I can see where Tryst is trying to go and what they're doing. But the food tries too hard. I think the establishment would benefit from simplifying some of their dishes. There are often some competing flavors in the dishes and there seems to be too much happening in some cases. I still gave it a four stars for food but in this case I feel less is more. This is a super dining experience in St. Albert before a show at the Arden. We will definitely be coming back again. 4 x 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️

Food started off really strong. I highly recommend the sourdough bread and butter, as well as the brussel sprouts which were amazing. I wish I had ordered two bowls. The garlic butter fries were good on their own, but the dip they came with did not fit the description of the fries. Wish overall this dish was more garlicky. The gnocchi was just alright. Flavor wasn't quite there and it needed more sauce with it. The fried butter chicken was good, not exactly what I was expecting but good. Forgot to take a good photo before we dived in. The rhubarb crumbled cocktail was more sweet and on the butterscotch side than rhubarby. I wanted there to be some tartness but didn't get anything. Overall the atmosphere was great, service was super fast and on it, and food came out at a good pace. If some tweaks and improvements to the food are made, this place can be a 10/10.
Brittany — Google review
I would say my first dining experience at Tryst was fairly good. We were a table of three and ordered seven plates to share (one of which I forgot to take a photo of!) We were full at the end of meal and even had a couple pieces of fried butter chicken to take home. I would give four stars for the food. My favorites were the house-made sourdough bread with whipped brown butter and the ling cod. The one thing that struck me as odd was that I wouldn't call Tryst a "casual" restaurant, and yet the hostess and waitresses were dressed very casually. For example, the hostess wore a pair of high-waisted pink pants with a cropped t-shirt and a Lululemon crossbody bag while our server wore a white tank top with thick straps and a white mini skirt. There is nothing wrong with dressing comfortably; I just didn't think it went with the vibe of the restaurant. The service was inconsistent. The first few dishes came out quickly and then the last two dishes appeared to have been forgotten. A server (not the one we had the entire night) asked if we were still waiting for more dishes. When we said there were still two remaining, she followed up with the kitchen. Our waitress was still around, but did not serve us for the remainder of the evening. There wasn't any communication about the servers switching, so it left us kind of confused.
Nettie W — Google review
The food was really good! I definitely recommend this place. The only thing was for spending 500+. It would have been nice if the waitress had checked on us just a bit more. There is no real dress code here.

Very nice hotel and service. Stayed there 2 adults & 2 kids. Rooms are large and very clean/comfortable. The whole team is awesome. The garden is beautiful. Excellent food. Manager fixed an error on my reservation and made it right. Will definitely come back.

We had a great stay here after our wedding last weekend. The room was fantastic with a great view of the river valley. We really enjoyed the steam room and pool in the mornings. One of the staff members, Brittany, was fantastic to deal with and so hospitable. We ended up ordering in room dining and it was so nice to relax in our room and enjoy the fantastic food following our wedding. Beautiful hotel and wonderful service.
Brienna L — Google review
My family of five stayed in room 238 for a weekend and had one of the worst hotel experiences we've encountered. We were completely blindsided by a DJ event taking place directly below our suite. From evening until after midnight, our room was filled with pounding bass and DJ announcements. None of us could sleep. This is a historic building with no soundproofing, and it felt like the event was happening in our room. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that when we raised this issue with hotel management, we learned these events happen *weekly*. Yet at no point during booking or check-in were we informed that our room would be directly above a late-night event venue. When I asked why guests aren't notified of these events at check-in, I was told "these are business decisions." That response shows a complete disregard for guest experience. A simple heads-up would have allowed us to either choose a different room or make an informed decision about staying elsewhere. Instead, we paid premium prices for a sleepless night with our children. The Fairmont brand is known for luxury hospitality, but this location prioritizes event revenue over guest comfort without even the courtesy of disclosure. I cannot recommend staying here, especially with children, and would strongly advise future guests to specifically ask about events before booking.

3 night stay for a business conference. Our Gold room had a beautiful view of the river valley in autumn and was very spacious. We could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding! From the moment we arrived, the venue took our breath away. The setting was absolutely stunning, every detail was thoughtfully maintained, and it created the most magical backdrop for our special day. The staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly—professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making our wedding unforgettable. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the space was and how seamless the entire day felt. If you’re looking for a venue that combines elegance, charm, and exceptional service, look no further. Choosing this venue was the best decision we made—it truly made our wedding day a dream come true!

The best hotel in Edmonton! We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our baby’s two-month milestone, and it truly became an unforgettable experience. Every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I’d like to give special mention to David at the Confederation Lounge, whose service was absolutely outstanding. The hotel offers complimentary access to the sauna, swimming pool, and fitness centre. From the lounge or restaurant patio, you can also step outside to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Saskatchewan River, simply picture-perfect! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edmonton!

Had a wonderful experience this weekend. Initially, there was a mix-up with my reservation that could have ruined our trip. But, the manager - Nella - stepped in and saved the day! I am so grateful to her for helping me out in a desperate situation. She reacted with sheer patience and kindness. Thank you so much!! The hotel itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Nothing but positive things to say from the restaurant to the valet! Highly recommend!

If you like history, you must stay at the MacDonald. Fairmont has done a good job preserving the character of the hotel, while providing modern amenities. In particular, I found their shower to be better than those offered at comparable hotels. The "luxury water" in the lobby was a nice touch as well, for someone that does not drink tap water. Centrally located around the ICE district, the MacDonald offers quick access to highly regarded cafes, restaurants, and events.

There are two sides to the restaurant and both are so cute!! Food was amazing. I had the blushing gnocchi which was so tasty and my friend had the chicken fettuccini alfredo. Pasta was clearly fresh and homemade. Delicious! Drinks were so cute and so good. We also got the garlic bread bowl to start which was amazing. Went with a few of my favourite ladies for 10am brunch. Menu for breakfast items is very limited, but lots of lunch selections to choose from. We opted to have brunch.. and were disappointed… my eggs Benny was awkward on a high price of egg bread, and it was very cold. The ladies stated they enjoyed their croissant sandwiches but ate only half and left most of it on their plates as well as myself. Lattes although very good were pricy at $9 ea. Service was near to non existent. Will try other brunch option venues next time.

We recently had our wedding at Brew+Bloom in the Secret Garden room and were so impressed! The venue itself is beautiful, so we didn’t have to decorate much. Then the food, so delicious! I’ve been to this location twice. The first time was a good experience but the second was very disappointing. I came for Mother’s Day High Tea with a table of 3. It was $70 per person plus an automatic 18% gratuity so pretty expensive for tea, sandwiches and some treats but I figured the quality would be high and worth it but it was not. The sandwiches were fine, though extremely small. The pastries were all ranging from really bad to semi ok - they all tasted stale and straight from a grocery bakery. The service was poor. We had to flag our server down so many times. We sat without tea or service for about 15 minutes in the middle of the meal. Had to ask for things twice as they were forgotten. I understand Mother’s Day brunch is likely a very busy time in most restaurants but we went on Saturday morning at 9:30 am and there was no more than 10 full tables in the whole restaurant so truly no reason for poor service. Initially our server only brought out 2 portions of the food so we had to wait and inquire as to why, he looked a bit shocked and left without saying much and returned over 5 minutes later with the third setting. I will add the server was quite nice and polite, just very absent. The atmosphere is nice, the table cloth and the tea settings were beautiful - but the very flimsy plastic table we sat at was disappointing. Overall I would not come back or recommend to others.

Easily one of the best spots I have tried to date, the patio in the summer was a super great vibe. They had music playing and the customer service was phenomenal the moment we walked in. We put a reservation in advance for two - they were originally going to sit us inside, but at the last second we decided we would want to sit outside. They made it happen and it did not disappoint. The Nachos!! I would without a doubt have to say these were the best nachos I have ever had to date. Chips, cheese and the pulled pork was 10/10 - from the first bite, the picked onion (usually not a fan) made this appetizer into our entree. Our server said this usually feeds 3 or 4 people and my date and I finished this together. We did have room for the cookie and another beer. Our server was super helpful and took very good care of us throughout the evening. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot for a date, or nice pub night out.

We were staying at the JW for an event and decided to stop in at Campio Brewing — what a great choice! The large patio was perfect for relaxing, and the menu was both creative and impressive. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food came out quickly, which made it easy to get to our event on time. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, making it an excellent value. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Edmonton.

I had a fantastic meal at Campio. Pizza was delicious and not pictured is their pickle chips that are thinly sliced and deep fried and also very tasty. I sat outside where they have a large patio with plenty of seating. Their pizzas are Detroit style and the crust is amazing. I will certainly be back.

My friends and I took our daughters to Campio last night after the street performers and we were compelled to leave a great review. First off we were seated quickly into a very comfortable booth that easily fits 6 people or even 8 possibly. Waters were brought right away and then we were greeted by our super friendly server, Cody. He knew right away to get the kid's food going, they have a kids menu but we opted for the OG pizza for them, pepperoni (be warned that they do the sauce on top as a novelty do if your kids don't like much sauce it's worth mentioning to your server) and some milks. We then decided to share a PB&J pizza and some fully loaded braised rib nachos with all the "fixins". Everything was so delicious and easily fed three adults and two kids. We then got a couple of the cheesecakes and one of the chocolate chip salted cookies for dessert and they were scrumptious!! Nothing left on anyone's plate and great conversations were had as the music wasn't too loud. Oh, I also had a delicious Caesar (thank you Cody for the suggestion) and substituted in tequila (local brand he said) rather than vodka and it was so good. We then realized they had a patio, after we had paid our bill (it was a little bit pricey I'd say but definitely worth the excellent food, service and ambience), so we went and sat out there for a while enjoying the sun and letting the girls get their wiggles out. Like Borat would say: "great success"! We'll be back for sure. Thanks! Andrea PS sorry I didn't take more food pictures...we were hungry!!! 😂

Some of the best craft beer I’ve had in awhile. And comes in flights from f six. 🍻👍🏻The nachos were also very good. Service was great! Large outdoor patio with picnic tables.

The weather was nice, so the balcony area was bustling with customers, but I was able to get a seat at the bar counter right away. They had a wide selection of beers, and the foods were delicious. However, the buffalo wings are quite spicy, so be careful. They go great with beer, though.
Go S — Google review
Went for lunch on Labour Day. They had the brunch menu until 1 o’clock. Usual brunch things and then also the pizza was available. The pizza was delicious. The deep dish with like fried cheese around the edges so good. We had the OG.. Some of the best sauce I’ve ever had. Also had a flight of beers. It was really good. The Stout was unexpectedly lighter than normal and a bit of coffee taste. After 1 o’clock, I got the premier logger and some hot wings. The hot wings were good With almost no breading, which I like. However, the sauce was unusual. Honestly, I wish places would just stick with Buffalo hot but so much better than something that taste like curry. Overall, it was good, but won’t be ordering the hot wings again

I recently visited Campio in downtown Edmonton. The quality of the food itself was decent for the price — the burgers were flavorful and cooked well. However, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. First, I ordered a drink, and it came completely watered down. It was supposed to be a single, but it literally tasted like water mixed with pop — no real flavor or strength at all. Then, when our burgers came out (which were quite messy), there were no napkins provided, and it took quite a while to finally get some. Overall, while the food quality was good, the service and attention to detail really missed the mark. For that reason, I’d probably choose to go elsewhere next time.

Real lovely brewery with some amazing beers. Not to mention they really like to experiment with thier flavours! Also really down for thier pizzas here, they are all a really solid pizza. The staff is also sooooo friendly and lovely to interact with, and you can really tell they really enjoy thier job! Thank you!

I liked their interesting flavour. Quite unique and decently priced! Their pizza I tried was called the godfather. Really good! Would go back to try other beers

Went there for the first time a few days ago. My God! The chicken and waffle pizza was the tastiest thing ever. I will go back just for the pizza. Beer was good. I ordered the flight to try a few different ones as I was not familiar with the company. They had a meat beer that sounded interesting. It was beer made in brisket meat. 🤣 I wasn't wasn't brave enough to try this one. Maybe next time. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. So cozy. They even provided a few games to play. I will definitely be back.

This has become my favourite brewery in Edmonton. The 2D Sour NEIPA is truly fantastic and one of a kind. Worth the visit!

My friend invited me for a quick beer after work. Never would have known about this place otherwise, but happily surprised. Great beer selection and fridge to grab and go what you like. They have an awesome little sitting area in the loft area to chill and talk. It was early evening, but several people were hanging out, some on laptops, some playing board game. Overall just a great vibe.

My brother and I stopped by for dinner and pint. Let me tell you, the service was absolutely incredible. Alyssa and Tyler were amazing in recommending beers and we sampled a bunch of them. So much variety and something for everyone. Highly recommend the White Wedding beer, I had never tried anything like it. Also their Beets sour! We also ordered dinner from their menu. A number of items from their menu were unavailable, but that's ok things that happen in a brewery; plenty of other items to pick from! The space is cozy and really comfortable. Their fridge is stocked up with lots of canned options too! Highly recommend. Thank you for making our sibling dinner super fun! We will definitely be back! :D

We hosted my husband’s milestone birthday at Town Square Brewing. Zach and Sydney went above and beyond to take care of the 35 guests. Service was incredible. They were kept hopping all night long (with smiles on their faces). All our guests commented on the inviting space and the fabulous service. Thank you Zach and Sydney. Our only regret….they don’t have pizzas on their menu anymore. Nachos and charcuterie board were awesome.

Amazing ambiance, lovey customer service and amazing IPA. Pool of choices there and not to mention the in house kitchen. I had great experience at Town square Brew, loved the interior decoration and vibrant design/layout. Shoutout from Boston! Definitely be back for more. 5 stars for their great craft Beer.

Cavern is a wine bar located in underground 104th street. It offers a variety of cheeses as well as wine, beer and cocktails. The space is small and intimate, perfect for a date night spot.
Enjoyed cheese school on NYE. Lovely selection of cheeses and wines. The owner and host are enthusiastic and share their love and knowledge of both and make delicious pairings. Would recommend. Didn’t get the cheese advent calendar this year, but heard it was amazing!

We were here for Edmonton Downtown Dining Week. A beautiful and cozy atmosphere. We ordered "eggplant and cheddar baguette sandwich". It tastes and smells great. I also like the baguette which was sour dough and feels good. For the side we got "slaw and potato chips" as well as "green salad with parmigiano". The sizes are good. The costumer service was also great. I highly recommend this place. Nothing can go wrong here 👍👍

Coffee, wine, cheese, meat, something for everyone. We popped in for a cheese plate and some wine. To my surprise they had a Luxembourg rose wine, which was divine, and felt like I was in Luxembourg again.

This place is too good. Great selection of wine, cheese and locally sourced deli meat. The staff was knowledgeable and always helpful during my visit. The bar’s cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place to just have a drink and forget about life.

this was one of the yummiest meal i’ve had in edmonton. we got the chips and dip, mackerel baguette and the salami & chèvre baguette to share. the cabin cloudbloom was good for an ale, we left a little tipsy

So far so good! First time trying Cavern. Ordered a $150 custom gift box to try with friends this New Year’s Eve. It came with 7 cheeses 3 meats and 2 accompaniments. It was all very tasty it was the hit of the party.

Had a wonderful lunch date with my girlfriend here! Inside is a nice, cozy eating area, and there is a patio out front as well. The staff were friendly and the service was just great. We had the cheeseboard, with 4 cheeses, and I had a mocha. The mocha was really great, and the cheeseboard was surprising filling, and very tasty. I would recommend the Manchego and Beemster XO cheeses!

The brewery boasts a 12hL Brewhouse, four 24hL Fermenters, and two 24hL Brite Tanks.
I love this little brewery! Super cozy atmosphere and absolutely amazing service. Steve is the best, his service adds to the experience! I love their Passionfruit Cider... one of the tasiest ciders I've ever had from a local place ! Guest star RIVAL burgers. Featured outside of the growlery, they have absolutely amazing food! Together, these two businesses are an incredible dynamic!

Friendly and engaging staff with excellent products. Came here two days in a row. Burgers are superb. You get lots of fries. Have to agree with Michelle - this is NOT the place for 4 kids after 8pm and after a funeral However, that is on you Michelle and not this fine little business meant mostly for adults
Replyctr — Google review
Sooo disappointed in this place. I have been here multiple times and it's always empty so we like to support them. I came in with my 4 kids at 8 pm after a funeral. There were 5 people there other than us. I had had 1.5 drinks over 2.5 hours and was playing cards with my kids trying to decompress. At 9:45 pm a drunk manager came up and told me it was time to leave. I laughed because I thought he was joking as I had a full drink and we were in the middle of a game. He claimed it wasn't the place to bring my children. I asked him if he really was going to judge me for being where he works? I am so offended. He doesn't know my life, situation or anything about me and my children schedule. On a day I am mourning the death of my dear friend to be treated like that is unbelievable. I will not be back and I suggest you don't go there. Other people don't get to tell me when or where I take my kids. There was no rule about them having to leave. He was just drunk and decided. No thanks. The beer is mediocre and overpriced anyway. I always struggle with what to order. Their loss not mine. And BTW my kids were behaving well and the littlest was happy and mellow. No disruption.

Jubbly Palmers your comment is extremely inappropriate and can be considered defamation. I love supporting this local business. The atmosphere has always been welcoming and the beers are extremely tasty. Rival Burger is also a nice touch. Great burgers 🍔
Veronica K — Google review
A local brewery just north of downtown in a new developing Blatchford neighborhood serves up variety of home brewed beers, each delicious in its own way. The atmosphere was relaxed warm and friendly with nice patio right outside to enjoy the sun with friends and family. It's pet friendly so you can enjoy a flight of beer with your dog relaxing next to you at the patio area. The selection of beers should satisfy everyone's taste.. i recommend a flight of beer to try multiple selections if beer from easy drinking ale to complex IPA and fruity selections including sour beer. See the current selection when i visited. You wont be disappointed. Try a local beer 🍺
Fusion T — Google review
After reading the review from Jubbly, I thought I need to take a trip to this bar. I saw the slim older fellow, but he was definitely was not native. I was looking forward to getting wasted after one beer, that would be a cheap night right. However, I surely wasn’t spiked as I had 4 pints and felt ok! Great beer and a fantastic atmosphere 😄
Amanda O — Google review
Have been there maybe 5-6 times, beer is decent but not much in the way of conversation or interaction. Writing this post because last night I swear the bartender spiked my drink. Unsure why, only had one beer. He was a slim older native fellow, beware.

Great Taproom, Friendly staff and amazing atmosphere along being dog friendly is an added plus. The Rival Burger outside making amazing burgers, fries and hotdogs makes this top notch.
