Quite a long queue but not so long waiting time. The environment was good, the ambience and the lighting were great not to forget about the fast and approachable staffs (some quite friendly too✋🏻🤚🏻). Talking about the food; I had NG Kampung which was SO GOOD and I didn’t not expected a good fried rice from this kind of place. The homemade fries were delicious and fresh, lychee kang was amazing too. Pizzas topping were great but the base could’ve been better I suppose. The only complaint was for fried chicken set which was expensive yet tastes so disappointing, even had better from mere pasar malam. Overall rating is 8.5/10 definitely worth it and would recommend 👍🏻.

Doesn’t seem like welcoming because staff kinda ignored us. Being arranged at outdoor seating area but place was hot and quite a number of mosquitoes. Chairs were not comfortable. Food just mediocre. Quickly left after finished our food as the experience here was not good.

The Chocolate Float didn’t really hit the spot, kinda disappointing. The Green Tea was just okay, nothing special. The Nasi Goreng Kampung was alright, not bad. But the star of the night? The Grilled Chicken Full Platter — portion and taste were spot on. Worth a repeat? Yeahhh Tip: come early to avoid waiting and the long queue.

quite a lousy experience. the food was not worth the wait or the price, had to wait for almost 30 minutes. the chicken grill tasted off, portion was small and very dry. the black pepper sauce was too strong, completely overpowered everything and honestly killed the mood to eat. the chicken katsu was also disappointing, using instant flour, very dry and paired with the same sauce that didn’t taste good at all. at the very least they should serve it with mayo or chili sauce. the pizza was the only thing that turned out okay. staff were not attentive. overall, not worth the price and the waiting. definitely not a place i’d come back to, though maybe the pizza is worth trying once.

1st time try dine in here for dinner. Everything good and great just a little bit crowded due to coffee event at the premisses. The food really tasteful with affordable price. Next time will try other dishes especially their western and pizza.

A halal fusion restaurant. Tried their pizza and it was ok. Son liked the fried chicken chop. But I think the best was Nasi Goreng Kampung. Flavorful with spicy feel. May be a bit spicy for some. Mee goreng mamak was nice too. Price was affordable too. Nice atmosphere whether indoor or outdoor. I prefer indoor as it tends to rain in the evenings.

Our meal here was really tasty and the service was fast and friendly. Very quiet when we eat here around 6pm but the setting was very pleasant. The nasi kambing pedes and nasi milky stew were both great

I didn't expect much going into the restaurant as i was looking for a light meal. Surprised to find soup menu to be eaten with mantou bread. Ordered the Buttermilk chicken n the taste was heavenly. Laced with curry leaves, accentuated the flavor. I end up filling full that I had to cancel my plans to eat later in the night. Waitress was great n the atmosphere cozy. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Ipoh. Keep it up guys.

The portion is big with reasonable price. Nice food with cozy environment. Seafood lovers must come here and try their lobster🤤 and very very special is “Nasi Ayam Penyet”. SUPERBB DELICIOUS. I’m very happy having dinner at here because their food superb delicious and big portion. So u guys hurry up to come here and try by your own self. Highly recommended for this restaurant❤️

The serving size and the variety the serve on your plate will wow you. The dishes are reasonably priced. I love the fact that this place is open late and can maintain great and helpful service until the last minute. Good vibes all round and even though it is not your typical Ipoh-style food, it is worth a visit.

I’ve always been a fan of their Nasi Liwet with Ikan Keli 👍🏻Brought my parents to eat here tonight and they loved their meals! They had Chicken Chop and Nasi Goreng Kambing. Great service ⭐️

My family and I had a celebration and we ordered the King Crab(with sambal). It was superr delicious! You can have the meat from the crab and hold them like chicken drumstick. Good service. Worth it!

My fav for now is salted egg squid, will come again to try other dishes. We buy 4 dishes, this 4 for 3 healthy adult is enough to make us too full to move. The price is a bit high but proportional to its amount and taste. I only take 1 photo, i love mapo tofu but its not that spicy for me. Feels like going to a high class restaurant from the waiter's attentive service 🤭

The food and atmosphere are cosy and aromatic for some fried dishes slightly oily. Overall price wise of RM315 for 7 dishes and 2 jugs of fresh juices for 11 pax consider reasonable with the choices of meat we are ordered. The only thing I find it hard to call up the restaurant number but they already apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Spacious restaurant, could accommodate large groups of food. Food is fine, just the prawn is too overcooked. Salted egg french beans was really tasty and beef kamheong as well. Not to forget mongolian chicken. Would recommend these 3 dishes.

The waiters were very cheerful and helpful, left a lasting impression on me. They helped us change a dish at no charge and happily without any complaints when the dish was not what we ordered. The crab meat soup was absolutely delicous, with meat in each spoon that we drank. Wat tan hor fun is super good too. Salted egg prawn could have more gravy, was a little on the dry side Roast duck was slightly dry but the sauce was 10/10. Didnt quite like the dry lamb curry (personal preference). Sin chew mee hun was okay Visited in Aug 2023 twice in a week. Overall great taste halal restaurant that is pretty authentic to chinese taste. The indoor seating has a slight odour.

I have seen a number of these Chinese Muslim Restaurants around but never quite get to go to check them out and this Hj Sharin Low Grand in Ipoh was the first because was with some Muslim friends. Quite to my surprise the food is pretty good and they are pretty much those usual food you find in Chinese restaurants but these are Halal. We had Steamed Fish in Nyonya Sauce - amazing, their Roasted Duck - taste is good but a tad too dry, their Butter Prawn was fresh and nice, their tofu was good. We went slightly off hours so the service was good, food was fast to serve. Overall, am happy with what I get here - price is reasonable, food is delicious, service is good.

HJ SHARIN LOW, the famous halal restaurant food chain has long been known as the established brand for serving Malaysian halal and authentic Chinese cuisine . You won’t go wrong to stick to the chef’s recommendation

Had a rather large lunch here, the deep fried fish with special sauce was very good, the small portion is actually large. Very clean and tidy place as well. The staff could be more responsive as they were just standing in the back instead of welcoming and directing guests to the table. Overall it was a good joint, worthy or revisit.

I love chicken rice and am very much a Chicken Rice enthusiast but I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here. Plate of chicken rice was RM9, extra rice RM4. The chicken rice was not good, below average. Rice and soup was very distasteful, luckily chicken was good. The biggest redflag was the cleanliness. My table was beside stacks of dirty plate and food waste. Stacks of dirty plate and heaps of food waste also literally in middle of restaurant and right next to the clean plates and food area. Table, floor and wall also dirty, took a peek at the kitchen behind and it looked like a workshop. The guy cutting the chicken didn't wear a sanitary head cap, his hair might fall into the chicken. The rice cooker pot wasn't close and exposed to air. Staff were so disorganised and looked like they didn't wanna be there, not attentive and not friendly. Finished my food quickly so I could leave asap, restaurant was so sad, need renovation, so gloomy. How la Muslim do business like this, as Muslim also am ashamed.

One of legendaries for halal chicken rice in Ipoh. But we personally feel that the chicken size is getting smaller…. Hm. But taste is okay. My friend who ordered porridge said it tasted a bit plain. Overall, just okay. Chicken rice only is RM9 - without drinks.

It appear in suggested food in Ipoh for 2022 in website. But sorry to say this is not the best chicken rice. The chicken is dry, rice is dry, and soup is tasteless. Cannot represent for Ipoh Perak state. Chicken is significant every state in Malaysia, like Malacca you will find rice ball chicken rice. In Klang Valley you can find crispy chicken rice. Ipoh is famously hainanese chicken rice and its bean sprouts. Why is recommended food in Ipoh???

This is my childhood restaurant, my go-to restaurant. But today i am a bit dissapointed of the service i had and the ayam. The chicken of mine a bit small like half of the usual serving. And the service have a lot things to improved such as greet the customers and please smile often!

Nice nasi ayam in ipoh, indeed legendary.. Run back earlier modern perak, tastinees keep well since then.. Always ask for double chicken portion, goes well with chilies provided.. Ask also kaki ayam soup, always hotsell here...

The food taste is so bad, especially the chicken is so small, given only 4 pieces with bone. Some more the chicken is very dry. I ask for kurang manis for the drink but taste like plain water.

Visited today 17-August morning for breakfast. 1. Price more expensive than those coffee shops visited last 2 days. The dishes portion is smaller. 2. For Chinese dishes offer here … not tasty cannot compare to standard elsewhere. If you have other choice, go somewhere, if not , it’s okay to fill your stomach.. 2 dishes photos attached, other dishes don’t even bother to take !

A classic old-school Chinese kopitiam with great local food at affordable prices. The atmosphere brings back memories — simple, nostalgic, and full of character. Tried the chee cheong fun, char kway teow, loh bak and curry mee — all were excellent. It’s no surprise this place is so well-known. A must-visit if you want to experience authentic Ipoh vibes.

Super popular coffee shop. My favorite food got to be prawn noodles soup, laksa and lor bak. Char kwey tiao also delicious. Coffee is good also but must request less sweet. Prawn noodles aunty is pretty and very friendly.

I’ve visited this spot for breakfast twice, both times around 8 am, and it was not too busy, so we simply walked right in. The service and atmosphere here is typical of casual eateries (kopitian) in Malaysia. Please note when I left there were a few families lining up to get in. During my first visit, I tried the Asam Laksa. It may have looked plain (I didn’t take a picture), but it was bursting with flavor! I couldn't resist coming back for a second visit to sample the Hokkien Mee (also known as prawn mee or mee udang). This time, I made sure to snap a photo before diving in. What’s great about this Hokkien Mee is that it’s made with our Muslim friends in mind, so there’s no pork in it. I genuinely think the flavor competes with some of the best I've tasted in Penang (I am from Penang)! The portion size was generous, and it looked fantastic too. Overall, I had a lovely experience at this place. Thanks for reading about my breakfast adventures!

This kopitiam really got the Malaysian feel, can see Chinese, Malay, Indian all sit together makan, very happening. The chee cheong fun quite nice, laksa also not bad got that pineapple taste, curry mee ok-ok la, quite lemak. Only thing a bit turn off is the drink price, small teh panas already RM2.80, a bit mahal.

This is the only place where you can find food from all kinds of cuisines — Chinese, Indian, Malay, and even Western, all in one spot. No need to queue this time; we got a seat right away. Today I ordered prawn chee cheong fun, fried kuey teow with egg, spicy pan mee, and two hot teas. The taste has stayed the same over the years — only the prices have changed, of course. Prices range from RM2.80 to RM8 for both food and drinks.

I was so excited since it was my first time step in to this beautiful modern style food restaurant However, after go through the menu and made order, i was inform that the food i have ordered already finish (it was only 9pm that time) Then i have request to cancel the order inclusive the beverages, but before i went out, the staff ask me to stay for the beverage. After waited for 20mins, i ask again whether the beverages are ready but the staff only ask me to wait without any further info. 10mins later i went off without a word. I have wasted my 30mins with no food & beverages, feeling hungry & my husband patiently, hungrily waiting for me. Not a good impression for first timer, kindly improve since the ambience & the food looks very good.

A Fantastic Tomyam Experience at FM Tomyam! My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at FM Tomyam and we were absolutely thrilled with our entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptionally fast and friendly. The waiter and waitress were incredibly familial and made us feel right at home. Beyond the outstanding service, the food quality was truly awesome, especially considering the cheap prices. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The lemak bakar was rich and aromatic, while the tomyam campur delivered that authentic, spicy kick we crave. The sup ekor was hearty and comforting, and the salted egg kerang bakar was a delightful surprise with its unique savory taste. And let's not forget the drinks! Bought four items. The only that stood out was the nasi khaomok. The rice is well-seasoned and the spice is not overwhelming, together with its fried chicken (which to me is just okay) and pair it with its air asam & sweet chili sauce, it’s a great combo. The tomyum is very mid. They are generous in terms of the ingredients but it doesn’t match up with the taste. The tomyum soup is on the sour side which overpowers the saltiness, umami and slight sweetness from the tomyum. And let’s don’t forget about the price…. The other two meals that we ordered were pokpek chicken and lutut ayam. Both are average. I understand that they put a lot of different spices and whatnot but again, it doesn’t match up with the taste. The batter has a bitter aftertaste which disturbs the whole experience of this. The portion of the chicken is also quite small for RM20+. Overall, you don’t have to come and try. The other kedai tomyum places did better. Sekian.

Was visiting the Ipon night market and this stall had really good smelling food so I decided to order from here. The khao mok rice was 23 RM and was fantastic. Chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The pok pek was also 23 RM, completely dry and hard to eat, had a big sauce container IN the box covered by the pok pek to give it an illusion that there was a lot of food in it but there wasn’t. The pok pek is a recommended item on their menu and it felt like a scam.. buy it at your own discretion. The khao mok rice though would recommend. Took around 20 minutes for the food, take out due to it being at a night market.

Everything I ordered was delicious. The prices were a bit on the expensive for the portion size, but I didn’t mind as long as the food is good, I’m okay with it. Sayangnya, I came here for Lutut but it wasn’t available that time. I came after Maghrib, so the queue wasn’t too long. If you come later, expect a long line. The waiting time for food was around 15–30 minutes, which is understandable since it was quite crowded. Parking is free, and there are plenty of seats available.

Went to Niase Street Food after seeing all the hype online — especially about their mix tomyam. RM27 for tomyam with rice? Not cheap, so yeah, expectation sky high. Visually? Merah pekat, nampak macam power. Tapi first sip? Hmm… flavour dia biasa je. Pedas tu ada, yes. Tapi rasa dia macam average tomyam kat mana-mana. For the price, I was hoping for something that slaps hard or at least leaves an impression. Benda paling solid? Udang dia. Dapat 3 ekor and yes, besar. But that’s about it. Waiting time pun agak lama walaupun weekdays — and I only ordered one thing. Not saying it’s terrible, but for RM27? I expected more depth, more kick, more something. Honestly, kedai tomyam Kelantan/Pattani tepi jalan pun lagi padu. This review isn’t to hate — just honest thoughts from a customer who paid more and expected better. Not worth a return trip to Ipoh, sorry.

Seriously I think the food is just average just like any other tomyam restaurant out there. It's delicious yes, but not to the level of top-tier Thai food that you'll have in Haatyai or Bangkok. Plus the que was long and the price is a bit on the higher side while you're only enjoying it at a foodcourt environment. Oklah if you want to try go one time. But for me better I go kedai tomyum in my neighbourhood lah.

Food's tasty. Open air Thai Food Dining experience. Indoor AC dining available. Prices were slightly pricey. Bathrooms though were very much left to be desired, so recommended to hold it in 'til you reach home. Service made up for it though. Friendly people manning the place.

Tasty simple food in Cool, Clean environment away from the heat outdoors. 2 Rice with 1 piece of chicken and 1 vegetable side dish each, 1 kasturi lime asam boi drink. Total RM18.80. One Wall decorated with ‘tudung makanan’ and small light green painting. Space well compartmentalised; Drinks Section, hand basin, giving a clean and structured look. Feel comfortable to eat here. Forgot to take photos as busy eating.

One little note to the management 🙌: it would be nice if the menu given to customers matched the right time slots. I got the lunch menu even though it was still breakfast, so maybe it’s better to use the app/digital menu instead since breakfast and lunch options are different. Not a huge issue though — just remember that if you want the full menu, come after 11AM onwards 😉. The overall experience here was super comfortable 🌿. Loved the aesthetic ambiance and the service was great. I had the rice with chicken, but it didn’t really suit my taste – it was quite bland 🥲. The rest of the dishes were just okay, but the drinks were the highlight! I loved the Watermelon Lychee so much I ordered it twice. As for the price, it’s on the higher side compared to similar restaurants.

We got the chicken carbornara and Turkish Delight. The pasta was good but i feel the mushroom in the pasta was the highlight of the dish!!! Could have given more mushroom. 😂Turkish Delight was nice but not wow, abit too oily. Coffee was very good! Nice atmosphere.

Everyone recommended that I try Plan B in Ipoh. I am glad I did. They have been responsible for the gentrification of the area. The restaurant is a warehouse converted tastefully and has a modern feel to it. They only serve Carlsberg beer. Happy to say it was really chilled and felt great after a hike. The salad with seaweed was interesting and flavourful. Though I feel it could have had a few more leaves and ingredients.

The menu is quite nice, big choice of snacks bite western style, pasta styled menu and of course Malaysian dishes. Food was really good and tasty, the atmosphere is great. Definitely worth to stop by!

Food definitely overpriced with the taste We ordered this snack and one sizzling chicken chop Unfortunately I don’t have habit of taking photo so took 2 pieces of pop corn chicken before I decided to take one for review keeping The pop corn chips was RM20 before tax I was thinking it might be the thick cut and filled with pop corn chicken Instead we have normal fries + 4 and half popcorn chicken. Kids took 2 and I took one small tiny pieces before I took this photo And the sizzling chicken chop Unfortunately chop. Just chips and some beans sitting next to each other. Nothing more than one smaller than palm size chicken. RM36 before tax, sauce is super salty I wonder if they tasted their food Ambiance was good I think that is only reason still attracting people come by

We had dinner at Plan B Ipoh on Saturday around 6–7 PM. We ordered the buttermilk chicken spaghetti and the korean burger for my husband. I shared the spaghetti with my elder son. Unfortunately, not long after, we experienced diarrhea and bloating. My son's condition worsened and he had to be admitted to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with rotavirus. It's such a shame because the place is beautiful and has a great vibe. Hopefully, the management can look into hygiene practices more closely or maybe do a quick spot check and ensure staff are consistently practicing proper handwashing. I’m not writing this to bring down the business, but when it involves health, especially my son, I feel responsible to share our experience. Hopefully this can be taken as constructive feedback for improvement. Would love to come back if things improve. Tq

Walking in to this restaurant, very nice ambience. Came with a few locals, if not I doubt will find this place 🤣. Always trust the locals when it comes to local food. And boy they will never be wrong. Service was fairly fast. Ordered few dishes, the pandan chicken, petai prawn, taugeh was just umamilicious. Delicious, full stop. The fish was however kinda made my total review 4 instead of 5 stars. It didn’t contain enough ooommpphhh unfortunately. Taste didn’t jump up, kinda bland for me. Would I come back here, a definitely yes. Overall more positives than negatives 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

It was my first time to this restaurant and it came recommended as one of the go to for locals. It was an enjoyable meal and here are my highlights: - The restaurant has 2 levels and when it is crowded, they will open up the top floor to house more patrons. We were seated on the top floor and they switched on the air conditioner. It was a pleasant temperature that made the dining experience pleasant. - The decor is vintage and adds on to the ambience of the place. - All the dishes we ordered were nice to eat and we enjoyed them. - Payment can be by cash or card. Payment is after the meal is done and before leaving. - The older lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. - Street parking is available around the restaurant but can be challenging to find a spot during busy times. It is a place worth trying.

Excellent Nyonya style restaurant. Fried Brinjal is very delicious and same with the Yum yum fried egg. Udang lemak is delicious too and spicy. Fried sotong ok only. Signature tofu also not really special but overall taste is delicious.

I’d recommend the Yum Yum Egg and Yum Yum Brinjal. These 2 were the best dishes so far. 2. The fish fillet was okay, but nothing remarkable. 3. The Yum Yum Fried Drumstick was nice but maybe (?) they put too much curry powder in their seasoning, as it has a curry taste to it which overpowers the flavour of the fried chicken. (I stand to be corrected on this) The fried chicken was still nice as it was juicy and crispy. 4. The fried rice was simple, but nice. It tasted like comfort food (As if made by your own mother/grandmother) 5. The watermelon juices were just watermelon juices. 6. The total price was reasonable for the food that we ordered.

The crispy eggplant was soooo good and crispy! The fish head curry? Absolute comfort food. The gravy was rich, tangy, and packed with spice, perfect for drowning over rice. The fish was fresh and tender – every scoop was happiness. And the kerabu mango salad was the best refresher – tangy, crunchy, a little spicy, super addictive. Totally balanced out all the richness from the sambal and curry. Overall: 10/10 meal, full of spice, flavor, and good vibes! 🌶️✨

We just had dinner here this evening 13/11/2025. First and foremost, the service was superb. All staff and servers were attentive, and friendly. We ordered three dishes, i.e., yum yum eggs, fried brinjal, kungpow fish. The portion size was just nice and taste great. Washed them down with lime prune juice.

As per the restaurant’s name, their food is yummy indeed! A mixed of Nyonya and local Chinese cuisine, we enjoy almost all the dishes. The portion for 4 pax is not very big but it’s good so that we tried out more dishes. It’s been a few weeks do I can’t recall the dishes’ Names but you won’t go wrong following the recommendation from the owner. Will return here if I return to Ipoh!

Before dining here, I heard good things about the restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the recommendation of others. Although the food was nicely presented, I didn't think it tasted good and certainly wasn't anything special. I found each dish to be ordinary. Added to that letdown, prices were so expensive, with each person costing almost 160RM. For that price and even much less, I know we could have gotten better quality and tasting food elsewhere. The service was okay, but it definitely didn't make up for the high cost. I won't return and don't recommend dining here.

Compared with previous dinner here a week ago, today’s dinner was very much better. Today’s dinner costed about RM1000, whereas previous dinner was around RM420. So money did matter and played wonders in improving the taste of food. 14/1/2024 Sunday Came here for lunch on the invitation of local association. Food was still GOOD and the quantity was just nice. Though there were 10 of us, 9 men and 1 woman, but we were feeling our stomachs were totally filled at the end of luncheon. No matter it still maintained its reputation as one of the BEST restaurants in Ipoh after so many many years.

Held my wedding here. Many guests praised the Roasted Half Piglet & Iberico Spare Ribs and China Abalone with Assorted Seafood is really good. Totally satisfied with the 9-course wedding dishes. Ah Yew has been exceptionally helpful with arranging the backend work such as helping with the PA, liaising with emcee on the timings, etc. U'll be in safe hands with his help if you plan to held a wedding here. Top notch food. No doubt. Quality + Taste + Presentation. Service by the waitress is amazing. Manager Kuan attitude is average. Ambience is open dining hall style, noisy and busy. Music is meh. Definitely not five star. Private rooms available and would get five star. Toilets are a bit underwhelming and messy. Price is very steep. Be prepared to pay top dollars. 12 of us with 8 course costed us RM1,200+. Plenty of parking within and downstairs of the restaurant.

Food not bad.. A bit dissapointed when parking under the restaurant compound, there was an Indian guy demand for parking fees RM4...(for 2 cars). Clarify with the restaurant staff and saying that we have the right not to pay the parking fees when requested by them.

The service here is extremely disappointing. I've noticed numerous customers leaving negative comments about it, yet it seems like the management hasn't made any real efforts to improve or address these issues. While I must admit that some aspects of the service are passable, overall, it still falls far short of expectations. On the one hand, the food is fairly delicious and has some redeeming qualities. The flavors are well - balanced, and the ingredients seem fresh. However, there is a significant drawback - the dishes are overly greasy. It gets to a point where after a few bites, the richness becomes overwhelming, and it's hard to fully enjoy the meal. This is a shame because with a little adjustment in the cooking methods or recipe, the food could be truly outstanding. I hope that the establishment will take both the service and food - related feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to provide a better dining experience.

Had a banquet dinner with appetisers, soup, mains, fried rice and desserts. I enjoyed most of the dishes, especially the Snow Fungus Lotus Seeds Yam Sago sweet soup was my favourite dish from the whole menu. The tender yam (taro) immersed in creamy and rich coconut milk with bouncy sago that delicately melted in my mouth, bursting with delicious sweet aroma and satisfying mouthfeel. Such a happy ending. 😃 It changed my impression of sweet soup in Ipoh as I had really bad ones at Tong Sui Kai~ 😏 We added Fish Skin in Salted Egg Yolk on top of the set since last visit we had was delicious. This time a little disappointed since the fish skin was hard and not as crispy as we expected. 😕 The Quadruple Dishes Combination Platter at the beginning of the meal was supposed to be four plates of appetisers designed by the restaurant. Apart from the Stir Fried Egg with Bean Sprouts & Chinese Mushrooms dish, the other three plates were just made by fish paste in different forms and shapes, a bit cheating to be honest~ 😏

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding dinner at East Ocean Restaurant in Menglembu last night, and I must say, it was an impressive experience from start to finish. This local Chinese restaurant has been a staple in the community for over 20 years, and it’s easy to see why it has stood the test of time. What truly surprised me was their vegetarian offerings. It’s not always common to find quality vegetarian options at traditional Chinese wedding banquets, but East Ocean delivered both variety and flavor. The vegetarian dishes were thoughtfully prepared, well-balanced, and packed with taste — clearly not just an afterthought. The rest of the menu lived up to expectations too, showcasing the restaurant’s consistent quality and dedication to good food. The service was smooth despite the crowd, and the overall atmosphere remained warm and welcoming throughout the evening.

The big prawn hor fun (flat fat rice noodles) is superb 😋 👍. Lots of umami taste. We ordered the crab meat/roe shark fin soup. Very tasty & fresh. As there’s just 2 of us, we couldn’t order more so the captain recommended the mixed veggies friend with bean curd sheets & almond slices. It is a very popular restaurant with a large seating area. Typical Chinese Restaurant deco and ambience. The food is good, and come in big serving. It is worth dropping by and checking it out when you are in Ipoh.

Dishes are skillfully prepared, so delicious. Seafood pot is excellently braised. Sweet Steam chicken is tender, not salty. Dofu pot better thn outside famous YDF shop. Simple garlic Vege pot 缅而不烂。 service is friendly & responsive.

Words alone is not enough to describe how remarkable the dining experience was. Have been coming back over and over again. Crabs are meaty, fresh and juicy. The sang har mee is so strong and deep in aroma. Ending the session with a special dessert. Let the pictures be the witness.

Went here on 27/2/25 Good and affordable place to hang out. However, we felt a bit uncomfortable upon arrival—not sure if it was staff or not. Service was minimal, but that’s expected for a roadside stall. Overall, it was okay. The cashier was friendly and helpful with menu recommendations.

Only able to capture mee kari special.... stomach was hungry.....good taste of mee kari special if going to ipoh definitely will taste again their mee kari special..... The service is fast as mamak....have range of food from mee kari to goreng2...also have mee kicap.. The price is reasonable and the portion ok....the stall vibe is as same as 7 years back...

My mom and I went, and let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed! The Mee Kicap here? Spot on. It's got that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, with bouncy noodles that hit just right. My mom, who's a tough critic when it comes to traditional dishes, gave it her full seal of approval, which means it's legit! It's definitely become one of our go-to places for Mee Kicap, and we'll be back for more. If you want a comforting, authentic plate of Mee Kicap that even your mom would love, this is the place! We heard this restaurant is really famous in Ipoh, so we came. Parking wise, you have to park a little far away.Small shop with limited seatings. If you come on weekends or public holidays, I suspect hahh you will have to queue to order and makan. We came during weekday, the shop had just opened so there was no problem ordering. The foods were ok, mi kicap was bit salty.We ordered yong taufu (it was sedap)mi kari kerang,mee wantan special and mi kicap.

I gave one star because I didn't like the attitude of the staff. I waited 45 minutes for the food to be served. So I asked the staff what took them so long to serve the food while it was just mee kicap and yong tau foo. The staff answered sheepishly 'banyak order. satu orang order 5-6'. I probe further and he said, 'abang pergi lah tengok sendiri kat tempat sedia makanan tu'. No doubt there were many people at the shop, but from my observation it was because everyone was waiting for the food and the kitchen kept tapau food for grab or food panda and leaving behind the customer at shop. Had they have proper order system and kitchen preparation the problem could be quickly fixed. So, if you have impatient personality, it would be better for you to find some other place to eat. On the quality of the food, the mee kicap was average. The mee kicap was served together with some kuah kari. The Yong tau foo sauce was quite good.

Sunday 12pm Parking was not easy. You have to drive and park at the end of the block. It was easy to get a table within Yong Suan and the order was promptly noted by the staff. Food was served relatively fast because they have a system in place to cope with high volume dine in and takeaway customers. They now occupy the side late with canopy for customers to dine in. So there is adequate seating. Coffee shop drinks also take order very fast and serve fast. Too bad the price is inflated and the coffee sucks big time. Nasi Ganja is good because of the gravy and condiments. Unfortunately the chicken of fried till it is too dry. Chicken is also undersized!! Payment after the meal was seamless. Just present the slip of paper that the waiter slips onto your table while you are eating. They accept both cash and QR code payments. Slight deterioration in the food probably due to the high volume. They have to maintain good standards or customers will slowly find better alternatives.

Kena dengan selera.. Came to try the famous nasi ganja as everyone seems to recommend it. It was a corner shoplot on a busy street, and was full of people wanting to try the delicious food. But service was quick, and the price was reasonable. And the food was so, so good! And the portions were HUGE!

Tried the famous Nasi Ganja in Ipoh, but overall, the experience was quite average. The mutton we received was mostly bones with very little meat. When we mentioned it to the staff, they casually said, “It’s like that.” Thankfully, a kind Chinese uncle at the cashier noticed and asked, “You kasi semua tulang, macam mana mau makan?”—which really spoke for us! Eventually, the server did give us an additional piece of mutton, which we appreciated. Taste : NORMAL The fried chicken was quite hard and not very enjoyable. The squid was okay, probably the best among the dishes we tried. The fish egg, unfortunately, wasn’t nice. The rice and curry were OK, and the place was busy, but overall, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Worth trying once for the experience, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it again.

I did a take away and ate in the comfort of my office and here is my conclusion. AVERAGE. I may try again eating on site to confirm this but the only thing I was impressed with was the lime juice. The best lime juice anywhere in the world! I found the fried chicken curry boring and the use of breast meat made it hard and tasteless. The rest of the curries all tasted the same and I tired to use the papadum to add crunchy but it was just a monotanous pile of curry with rice. The prawn and the beef curry did not inspire. I guess people love this place for its history and nostalgia and my good friend In Ipoh ate this from childhood.

True to its name (Ganja translates to something "addictive" or "dope"), this place lives up to the hype! Nasi Ayam Ganja is seriously addictive and I really recommend it. Be prepared for the queue; the line is quite long, but it moves fast. It's common to share a table with strangers, which is part of the fun and atmosphere! The prices are very affordable, and the portion size is huge (banyak banget). You definitely get great value for your money here. It's Halal and you can request the non-spicy version if you prefer.

Nothing to comment. The mutton no taste at all & nasi ganja ayam merah 5/10 only. We ordered Prawn 1 plate that we can give 9/10.

This restaurant really a manifestation of 1 Malaysia (multiracial friendly). Where you can see Malay, Indian, Chinese can seat in the same place united with Malaysian food. Located in the heart of Ipoh, parking is not that challenging, ample of parking could be found in walking distance. Just this place is not wheelchair friendly, can ask waiters for any help.

My daughter and I ordered one of the set meals. We had the chicken tomyam (really good!), stir fried minced chicken with basil (also good), and stir fried mix vegetables (tasty) and a plate of rice each. Really worth it for under RM45. Moreover, there was a drinks promotion - buy one free one for any coffee beverage. Very good food, very reasonable pricing. The tomyam really is fantastic. A must try.

Coffee is good here. Food, I'd rate 3.5. It's edible but not fantastic. Kids will enjoy being served by the robot. Ordering is still old-school using pencil and ticking on the selected items on paper. Won't be having lunch and dinner here but I will return for yum char. I truly appreciate that they serve coffee with a small glass of thai tea. What a marvelous idea.

The food was good. I had the spicy, vegetable fried rice. The serving was a little small though. The blueberry smoothie was also good. The service was fast. A robot brought the food to the table. The decor was quite nice, otherwise the atmosphere was a little sterile. The room temperature was very cold. 🥶

Happy to share that their portion of lamb-chop is big and tender enough for my husband to eat. The dressing on thier salad is addictive, i love it. Fries are just too thin. But im a bit disappointed about their teriyaki chicken, cause thier is no teriyaki sauce on it. It was just a plain baked chicken chop that i have to ask for a black pepper sauce or any kind of sauce just to get rid of that chicken smell. Anyways i was hungry so i ate it all. Other than that all ok.

Located on ground level. Been here the few times, food quality is ok, service and cleanliness also ok. Overall everything seems OK, but the price has been going up too fast perhaps. Hope the hygiene is maintained or improved. Hope the price hike can be maintained at a more favourable speed.

Now that their quality of the food, service was getting worse and worse. How I wish I could leave a zero star for them. The environment was not bad since they had it renovated and in invested a robot servant to serve the foods to the table. To be frank, it doesn’t really work for the place, the table arrangement was placed in different position and the aisle was narrow, when the robot passed through the gap and unable to get over, the customers have to move the seat or even stand up to let the robot moving.. kinda unfriendly… The food portion was lesser again and the price was getting higher. It’s okay to have the price up but not reduce the portion of the food. So unfair and we have to wait about 40 minutes for the food. The vegetarian fried rice was not up to standard, too many black sauce and it was burnt a bit. Fish cakes was way too small for the price of RM16 and the tuna sandwich was the worst, I could tell you that the tuna they spread in only about a tablespoon! Can you imagine the tuna was just a round shape in the middle and the rest was empty? Lol

Nice dining atmosphere & food is really tasty. The Thai fish cake is bigger than most usual Thai restaurants & have a nice tangy feeling. Tomyam soup is delicious with generous portions of seafood & served in a 'steamboat' keeping the soup hot. A must order is the coconut otah, served with seafood cooked with otah taste, which goes well with white rice. What was disappointing though was the dessert. Especially the red ruby which was served with strands of jackfruit, taking away the taste of coconut milk. Mango sticky rice was normal as the mango was neither sweet or sour Overall a good dining experience!

I have been a regular customer of Lanna Thai. Lanna Thai is a great spot for those craving authentic Thai cuisine in Ipoh. The flavors are rich and true to traditional Thai cooking, making it a satisfying dining experience. A plus point is that they also offer vegetarian option, catering to a wider range of diners. White the price is on the higher side, the portion sizes are reasonable, ensuring you get what you pay for. However, one area that could have improvement is communication. Since most of the staff are from Thailand, there can be some language barriers when placing orders or making special requests. Some basic language training would enhance the service experience. Overall, Lanna Thai delivers great food with authentic flavors， making it a worthwhile visit, especially for Thai food lovers in Ipoh. Just my two cents.

Tried Lana Thai in Ipoh. Honestly, the food was just so-so—decent, but not something I’d go back for, especially at that price point. What stood out more was the good service. The owner was really friendly and open to customizing dishes, which I appreciated. Great service, but food could use more flavour.

Cozy place! We reached about 6pm on Sunday, dishes served for 7 pax within 20 min. The seafood tomyam soup so worthy, lots of seafood but the flavour quite thin. Overall not bad 👍

First time eating here, love it! The vermicelli prawn was simply delicious, the gravy penetrated well into the vermicelli and with generous serving of prawns, about 5-6 pieces and priced at RM28. Tum yum with chicken was a good size for 4 of us, chicken was tender but I personally felt the spiciness a bit mild. The fried fish with Thai chilli paste was flavourful but it would be better if the fish was fried to crispy. Service staff was attentive and polite. Pricing is super reasonable given the location, restaurant setting, service and food qualities.

While not the pinnacle of Thai cuisine in Malaysia, it holds its own in the context of Ipoh. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and a comfortable dining experience. I plan to revisit to explore more dishes, especially when looking for alternatives in Ipoh's dining scene.

Nice Thai Food i would say.. one of the better ones.. My whole Family enjoyed it.. Unfortunately they are closing down soon.. Maybe Everyone can go and help them change their mind.. Portions are big.. i will definitely visit again.. Apparently closing down next Month.. Better try out before they close down

The ambience is so great. The dining experience is good. It's halal restaurant. Food portion is great. Many types of briyani to choose. Parking is might the biggest issue but you can parked for RM1 at yik foong building beside this restaurant. The price tag is adequate to the food served.

Recommended eating spot in Ipoh! Been craving for a butter chicken dish for awhile now since Ipoh’s Kapitan closure. And Briyani King version one is superb! And it goes really well with their signature mozzarella cheese naan. ^^ Their mutton beriyani claypot also tasted good; flavourful with herbs and spices. A bit pricey for Ipoh standard. But still acceptable since the dishes tasted authentic and nicely served.

The foods are good.. but we are really frustrated about the waitress... Ordered 3 set of claypot briyani(6pax), but served with 5 set.. she insisted claims that we add another 2 set.. how we supposed to finish? It's all gone waste then! 😠☹️

After MCO this restaurant serves nice thai cruine which is my favourite..I like the payaya salad and tom yum seafood which they cook with lime and Thai ingredients flavours. It's nice they have lunch package not too expensive that clients can enjoy. Veg, soup+meat and rice...

Cozy environment serving Thai food. Their deep fried fish is very crispy and yet not dry. A must- order dish. Thai fish cake and Thai basil minced chicken are above average. Clear tom yum soup is on sweet side, not sour enough. not my cup of soup. Dessert is good especially the mango sticky rice served hot.

I like the pineapple fried rice. I took in x2.5 of my usual rice intake thanks to the stimulation from the Tom yum. Reminds me of all the good times in Thailand. I am planning a trip to Thailand thanks to this.

Tried this Thai restaurant in Ipoh and the food was quite good. I liked the tom yum seafood and siakap lime steam, both fresh and tasty. Pandan chicken was crispy and the mango salad had a nice balance of sour and spicy. Portion sizes were big, so memang kenyang. The place is cozy too, would come again. 🩷

Authentic taste! I seriously loves everything that i ordered! From the main tomyam dish to the sticky mango rice dessert!! Id give everything 100/10!! Super fast service & the staff was so friendly too! Love the ambience si aesthetically pleasing. Its muslim friendly too! Have already confirmed with them that they only used all halal ingredients and pork free! Suitable for family gathering too! Price is definitely affordable! Will definitely come back for more with my family and friends!! Totally recommended!

The dishes we tried were all tasty especially their red tomyum, spicy clams with lime sauce, fried chicken wings, coconut tomyam, mango sticky rice, miang kam. Blood cockles slightly overcooked for us. The coconut ice-cream, Thai Rose milk latte and Cha Tra Mue range of drinks were tasty too. Good service provided

Fried kangkung very crispy, right level of salt. Sambal for ikan kembung very authentic, goes so well with rice. Tom yam OK, not sweet like other Tom yam. Spiciness and sour level just nice with rice. Another diet breaker! Couldn't order steamed fish cos too much already. Will try other stuff next round. Oh yes, the fizzy yuzu with milk is highly recommended for self-indulgence.

Smaller than the Ipoh Parade mall, but modern type. We have our fried noodles lunch there at one seasfood restaurant in this mall. Not expensive and delicious.

Posted 17th Sept 2024 Medium size mall with quite a number of notable outlets. The main outlet is Aeon supermarket. It is clean, tidy, and well stocked of normal items as well as some premium imported items. There is a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables produce. With the freshness, the prices are a bit on the premium side. The mall is clean and well maintained. Parking is cashless. There is ample parking in the mall either outdoors or indoors, which is located above the ground level.

One of the best AEON MALL so far, I love to shopping at AEON MALL, just come for a holiday to Ipoh coming here to take a look and bring my kids to the playground here. With Rm30 so many things he can play.

My friend accidentally left her phone at the Kinta City food court, and when I called, Fatin immediately helped to check and locate it. Thanks to her fast action and Joanne’s support, the phone was safely recovered. Their helpful attitude and professionalism really made a difference — truly excellent service!

By Ipoh standards, this is a decent shopping mall. This is going to be a review on the supermarket alone. Aeon Supermarket is very humongous and contains a large variety of items, ranging from freshest greens to imported food items. Sometimes, especially during festive seasons, some of their products are cheaper than those sold at nearby Lotus's. The only thing that irritates me about this supermarket is the customer service. It is really slow, especially at the checkout counters. One time, only a handful of cashiers were opened to handle a flood of customers. That said, try not to come during the weekend because it can be crowded here when the masses are not working. The only payment system is a downer. It takes a while for a new user to navigate it.

Food taste was ordinary but the food portion was big & price was cheap. Suitable for those who had big appetite & want to save. Many people were enjoying their mee celup & somtam dish but haven't try it myself. Service was good & they got couple of small dining huts for those prefer enjoying their meal sitting down

Santai Dan sedap Dan berpatutan. They could do something with their cleanliness of the backyard, but overall the place is clean. Staff is busy but the food is delivered promptly. They sure don't like to keep their customers waiting. They provide prayer room but be mindful that it's meant for their workers so it might not be so tidy.

I had my fave Ipoh Hor Fun at this new spot (new for me lol) and it was super tasty! I can feel the sweetness of the prawns in the broth! Highly recommend! The service was excellent (great service from Wanie! Very friendly and prompt!) and the overall ambience was very spot on :)

We had the pleasure of dining at BFF Ipoh for a family dinner, and it was an experience to remember. The cozy atmosphere, flavorful food, and genuine hospitality made it such a heartwarming evening for all of us. The menu was packed with delicious choices, and every dish we tried was a hit. The Buttermilk Chicken Chop was rich, crispy, and incredibly satisfying. The Hainanese Style Chicken Chop had that comforting, homestyle taste with a perfectly balanced gravy. The Mee Hoon Curry Mee came in a fragrant broth that was both comforting and full of flavor a true local delight! A big shoutout to Vanisha, waitress for the night, who was simply superb. She was warm, attentive, and made sure our family felt welcomed and well taken care of. Her service truly added a personal touch to the meal. One thoughtful detail we really appreciated the kids were given coloring kits to keep them happily occupied while waiting for the food. It made the experience so much more relaxing and enjoyable for both the kids and the adults. We sipped on soothing jasmine tea throughout our meal and ended with their lovely homemade cakes the perfect sweet note to close the evening. Food was ok. However, service was subpar. Ordered one kueytiow, waitress brought two to our table, but apparently the other one was for another table. Which was fine. But what triggered me was, when i was about to say we ordered one only, the waitress cut me and said “satu je”. Indirectly saying that she knows we ordered one. Just want to highlight u can say it in a less rude way. Second, when she brought the food to our table, she didnt give cutleries. Not just once. Other dishes too. No spoon. Have to find urself. I mean for the service tax, service should be better. Really hope u guys can improve.

Coming here because got the latest viral sensations from Viral Perak FB page. Set up a booking for 2 people. Coming down here because we are a big fan of Shellout meal and today is my mother's birthday. I ordered a Shellout meal for 2 and a Sotong Bakar and to our disappointment all of the seafood that we got are old and smelly plus they didn't cook our food right and we can and might get food poisoning. When they take it back, we thought they are going to change it but no, they just heat it up and we are not okay with it. Bihun tomyam not taste tomyam at all because they put some chilli you know that chilli you blender to masak cabai nasi lemak tu? OMG. sucks. Then come asam pedas pari me & my husband sharing. At first he tried, seriously I didn't get what he meant with "pelik la rasa dia". When I try, wahhh that taste ah you can't even swallow. Dah lah tak ada rasa asam pedas langsung kuah dia. Rasa dia pelik because of that claypot hangit ! Macam tak basuh bersih pun ada. When complaint, didn't get any apologize at all. Such a terrible restaurant I'd ever come.

Probably the worst pari asam pedas that I ever tasted. The pari is obviously an old stock that the meat color has change dark and it taste like fridge. Asam pedas does not taste like asam pedas, it sweet but it did has that masam and pedas taste lmao. Not recommended at all.

Love the place! Food is delish, the atmosphere is calming & cozy, and great service. I would say this is quite a middle-high class cafe. They have lunch set, pretty much below RM20. Other menus are above that, but the portion is big and satisfying. The Chicken Keema Pasta's spices is overpowering. Need some moderation on that. The interior is great with a digital fireplace. Varieties of menu to choose from western, eastern and fusion. Worth a place to visit.

Accidentally come in this restaurant and surprised by the food and environment. The shop is very cozy and nice. And we enjoyed the food very much, especially the bread which come along with mushroom soup and spaghetti. Worth to give a try

Came here last year for lunch, the food portion are big and taste is good 👍. Today came for tea/coffee....ordered Jonker and Genting fog, greate mix of taste...jonker earl grey + coffee in form of ice cube, melt when you pour the hot fresh oat milk...the pandan leave levitate the aroma and the gula melaka make the sweet taste just nice... genting fog latte + ear grey with hint of orange...this made us repeat to come here. Staffs are friendly with cozy ambient make you feel really comfortable. Price considered ok with the food quality and environment 👍

Food presentation is above average as they took great care to show that this is a posh eating place. However, the actual quality and taste of the food is mediocre. For instance, the prawns in the asam laksa pasta were not fresh. The flesh of the prawns disintegrated easily. The taste of the new rebus didn’t reflect the price of it. To be fair, drinks were excellent though. Service is excellent with still some rooms for improvement. The atmosphere is wonderfully pleasant to us a great dining experience.

The cafe was so pretty. I came during lunch hour (peak hours) in Saturday pulak so the waiting time is quite long. We waited for almost 1 hour for our food and even for the drinks. The food was in big portion but mine was a bit disappointed. I ordered Balinese chicken and the rice was undercooked. My friend ordered salmon with udon, that one was good. My friends ordered fish and chips and fettuccine. Both are quite big portions. My advice is to not come during lunch hour as they have limited tables and staff too.

Loved this restaurant! Came back twice on our few days in Ipoh. Chef Uni was super friendly and we had a good chat on both visits. He also kindly made some vegetarian options for me (even though not on menu). Super tasty and affordable food. Ipoh white coffee was great too.

I'm Indonesian and I was here in November 2023. At first, I tried some of their food for dinner and surprisingly everything was SO GOOD! We decided to go back the next day and try other dishes and nothing disappointed. I love their lobak and we even ordered more for a take away haha. This is a halal chinese restaurant and they served a big portion The owner came to our table and we talked for a few moments. He asked about the food and mentioned that he has visited several cities in Indonesia. He's so nice and the service is excellent. His wife is also very kind. I'd love to come back here once I visit Ipoh again. See you again uncle!

Went to have breakfast with my big family of 15 people. Food were great, the atmosphere was refreshing. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and they made us feel like going to a relative house for rumah terbuka. They also took some time to chat and share interesting places in Ipoh. Visited Secret Recipe Klebang today 06/07/25 2.30pm for lunch. The restaurant was crowded, but there were still two empty tables that just hadn’t been cleared yet. We were willing to wait, but the staff told us there were no seats and that it was full, with an unfriendly tone , it felt like we were being turned away. Disappointed with the service attitude. Hope the management can improve staff training, especially during peak hours. Customers should be given the option to wait, not simply dismissed.

I went there 11-5-25 around 8.30 pm. They serve the food nasi goreng ayam and pasta. Nasi goreng not fresh cooked. The food not warm and test totally worse. The food they cooked for along time ago and served to me. Event we go normal restaurant and order the food they can cook very fresh. But here too worse. Pls guys when u want to dine in pls check food. I m really disappointed the service too. Table not clean and need. Secret recipe one of the big restaurants but service here totally out. After I took food from here I feel too bad and very uncomfortable.

We ordered vegetarian nasi goreng and had to wait over 30 minutes, only to be told that the kitchen had prepared the wrong dish and was redoing it. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t even hot — and to make it worse, it was completely tasteless. Honestly, I would have preferred eating at a regular mamak shop. For the price we paid (plus tax), the quality and taste were highly disappointing. Out of hunger, we just ate it with chili sauce. The hot chocolate we ordered — RM9 — was another letdown: bland and watery. This experience was really frustrating. As paying customers, we expect decent service and food — not something that feels like an afterthought. This will be our last visit here. To others: please check reviews before dining at any new place. Don’t waste your money like we did.

This is not my first time went to Secret Recipe & SR is one of our favourite restaurant. I ordered 3 kid meals because I want it served in plastic plate but what we got is ceramic plate for our kids and the waitress told me they out of plate. Then I ordered 3 cakes & I expected 3 dessert forks but once again with same answer. It shocked me because this is SR not ‘warung tepi jalan’! And another thing, please upgrade the service. We paid for service tax & should be this won’t happen. Hope this is not my last visit to SR.

Quite disappointing with the food here. Tom yum soup was too sour but the prawns were good. Papaya salad was so so only but the grilled chicken was extremely salty and slightly bitter. Pineapple fried rice was not fragrant. The steamed siakap with lemon was uncooked so we had it returned. Prawn Vietnamese roll tasted bland. The tastiest was the pad krapow. Carrot juice was too thick with carrot pieces cos they used a blender and not juicer, so not nice at all. The mango juice was good though, like smoothie. Service from staffs was good though. Have to improve on food wise

Like what the others had pointed out, the service was extremely slow. We weren't in a hurry that time, hence we waited for the food to be served. It took them 1 hour to fully serve our order. Generally food is quite good, we recommend the pandan chicken and lemon steamed fish. Green curry is not as nice, while mango sticky rice came with small portion. According to the owner, they have just recently shifted here, hence, the shortage of manpower. I would revisit here some time later to see if they have improved their service.

Centrally located and easy parking since there's not much other business around the area, plus the free parking lot for The Store (Jln Kampar) is just opposite of the restaurant. A great place for hangout and gathering because of their large hall with lots of table and a rooftop garden on 2nd floor. We came for tea during CNY and we did not see any other occupied tables when we're there. Limited options for both food & drinks, food was pre-made and reheated but I've not tried so no comment on this yet. As for drinks, please offer more options and also introduce some dessert as you can outsource it easily. This will attract more customers coming for the odd timing and tea break.

Decided to go there after seeing since we are at this mall. If you decided the same as us, you might as well go and eat the street food outside. There are more choices and pretty sure the taste would be better too. Ordered a few of their Thai dishes. The Thai curry was creamy but it stopped there. Was very sweet. And other dishes we got was very salty. The drinks was super sweet too. Didn’t get any taste of apple asam boi, just sugar. Restaurant is indeed pretty, think they used to have more on their menu based from the Tiktok video we saw but not anymore.

We had a hi-tea buffet for 180 people here yesterday and it was an awesome experience! Plenty scrumptious options for the foods, worth every penny!!! My students love everything they have to offer! We had mac n cheese, grilled tenderloin and meatball (the sauce is to die for!), brownies, creampuff, laksa, satay (the peanut sauce is delicious as well!), kuey teow kungfu and many more! Thank you Lemongrass Infuse for such a superb dining experience!

Looks can definitely be deceiving. It was not as promising as the 5 star reviews I have a feeling the chef has changed on my visit. Menu was limited, western food removed, signature dish NOT available, disappointment. Odered tom yum and pineapple fried rice with a side of orange juice. Guess what- the orange juice was the best amongst them. TomYum soup is reused, no essence, just spice. It's actually painful eating. Pineapple fried rice has expired pineapples and hardened prawn crackers. Should be renamed as fried rice only. Basically, none of the food was totally fresh. Atmosphere is bearable but old and not well maintained. Spotted a small cockroach as well, not suprised because there used to be a small man-made pond in the restaurant which is now disfunctional. Wanted Thai but left with a Sigh. (and a stomach ache)

The foods were below average its either too salty of too sweet. The pad kra paw was too salty and the green curry was too sweet. My friend ordered a thai chilli seafood something but the portion was very small (3 squid rings not even the real squid and 2 prawns) and salty too. Actually all of the dishes that we’ve ordered were in small portion (green curry - 5 pieces of small cut chicken, pad kra paw - 1 spoon of mince chicken) definitely not worth the price.

The food was awful and the shop was literally no staff I order the chicken chop and a pad Thai ( fried noodle) the chicken was raw and the pad Thai taste so bad. All of those food was not fresh and so worst . Outlook of the food was terrible even make me no appetite. The portions of the food was small and not worth the price . Lastly I wanna said this is the worst restaurant I ever had in my entire life. Service was bad food was terrible even the restaurant don’t have a system. We first visited this restaurant when it was just opened because we heard that the food I great. So the first visit was crowded, we waited a long time for a waiter to hand us the menu. After that, we were ready to order but the waiters and waitresses were somehow ignoring us and we have to make ourselves excessively obvious to be noticed. So as it was crowded we expected that it will take a long time to be served. However, the others who came later than us had already got their food but ours was not even served. We asked them to check on their order and we got replied rudely as if we're not patient enough. So we waited and finally after a long time we were served with our dishes and rice. However another problem is that we got no utensils. So we requested for it and they were like very busy and went to fetch them. What we do not get is that just getting forks and spoon would take more than like 5 minutes, and how difficult is it to do that? So the reason behind it was the utensils were not cleaned yet. What's really disappointing was that they handed us the newly cleaned fork and spoon wet and the water was dripping! Not to mention our dishes came out very slow. Basically this wraps up the first visit, what was good is their food which was nice and the price was reasonable with the food but not the service given. So after half a year, we decided to give it a another try. We came in and the waiter was comparatively better this time as they served us and handed us the menu and handling the order in a better manner. However there could still be improvement done as they could fetch us the menu as soon as we sat down (Just trying to give some constructive advice). However, then place we sat on the table cloth was filled with dust but the "white paper" was clean. So basically the same thing happened again this time. We placed our order before the crowd of approximately 20 people walking in. After the placing of our order, at our own initiatives we went to the counter to inquire whether they had made any reservation before us. So immediately one of the waiter confirmed that our order were placed before them. However, at the end, our order was again pushed behind again and other who came late were served before us. Therefore, we made our complaints to the staff but one of the staff went up to confirm and she did not even apologize to us yet trying to run away from the responsibilities.
