Museum
Nestled in the heart of downtown Gilbert, HD SOUTH - Home of the Gilbert Museum is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts. Housed in the historic Gilbert Elementary School building, which dates back to 1913, this museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the town's rich past through an impressive collection of artifacts and photographs. Since its transformation into a museum in 1985, it has served as a vibrant hub for community engagement and intergenerational collaboration.
Interesting deep dive into Gilbert's history. Many topics are covered, including military, civil, culture, police, fire department, and areas of interest. Visit this museum and learn more.

This small museum in Gilbert, AZ is full of cool local history and located in an old schoolhouse named after William "Bobby" Gilbert. Each room has a unique theme, from old school setups to vintage home life and even a tribute to the local police, plus there’s a beautiful quilt exhibit with pieces made by local artists. It’s a fun and informative visit that takes about an hour, and you can even get in free for two with a Culture Pass from the library.
Sofia T — Google review
After 5 years of living in Gilbert, I finally made it to this beautiful, well-kept and very interesting museum ♥♥♥ The exhibitions are well organized and the displays are great and easy to understand. Checking the website I found the Paint and Sip class, and I am very excited to participante soon!

Another great museum in the area. Have been visiting all the small city museums. Great way to stay out of heat and learn about your town.

Really nice Musuem. The staff greeted us upon entering and gave us clear directions on how to self tour. The fee was just $5 for seniors. The self tour map was easy to follow. The Musuem is situated in Gilbert's old elementary school built in 1913. The building had been well maintained and is a perfect setting for a local town Musuem. We enjoyed the no pressure self tour and we spent at least 2 hours before leaving for lunch. We probably will bring other family members in the future.
Don B — Google review
The place has a charming country vibe and is set in an old elementary school right next to the current high school. Inside, you can check out vintage kitchen gear, old school desks, blackboards, a fire engine, a threshing machine, and even chat with some friendly ladies quilting in one of the rooms. For just a few bucks, you can also see a massive model train setup in the basement, and if you love history, it’s definitely worth spending an hour here.
Lillie J — Google review
This small museum in Gilbert offers a fun and informative look at the town's history with themed rooms, unique artifacts, and a local quilt exhibit, all housed in a historic schoolhouse.

We all drive by this place on the Southwest corner of Gilbert Rd and Elliot and we all say to ourselves “we should stop by someday”. Well, the day finally came for me and my family and it was well worth it. There is so much to learn about the town’s history in this museum.

The Heritage District, also known as downtown Gilbert, is a vibrant area with weekend markets offering fresh produce and locally made artisan gifts. The district boasts pet-friendly restaurants that source ingredients locally. For entertainment, the Hale Centre Theatre hosts Broadway shows and other events. Residents appreciate the attentive staff and well-maintained common areas in this peaceful community. Despite older buildings, the convenient location and friendly atmosphere make it a favorite among Phoenix area apartments.
This apartment complex is one of the best places I’ve ever lived. I lived here for 5 years. Unfortunately I had to move for better opportunities else where but I wish I didn’t have to go. The staff has always listened to feed back and gave flawless communication. They make it their mission to make sure everyone is informed of maintenance, events, and issues going on in the apartment complex. I lived here through Covid and again they handled it with ease. I would highly recommend if you are searching for a great apartment.
Codds K — Google review
The staff initially seems nice, the rent is reasonable, and the apartment and surrounding area are decent. The gym is well-equipped, and the maintenance team is reliable. However, the appliances are quite old. My biggest issue is the predatory parking enforcement. My truck was towed for expired plates without any notice. I had been using my other vehicle for a week while waiting for my registration to be renewed and sent to me. There is no reserved parking here, there are plenty of spaces available and it was clear my truck is not an abandoned vehicle. Adding insult to injury, there is an obviously abandoned vehicle parked right next to where my truck was that has been untouched for months (photo attached). So why was mine towed and not this vehicle? Now, I am facing a $600+ fee to retrieve my truck from the deplorable Kwik Tow company. I pay my rent on time, pick up after my dogs, and take care of the apartment and have had no problem with the staff. Yet, this is how I am repaid—with a “sorry that happened, we didn’t have your license plate on file.” You would think a 7 billion dollar company like Cortland could afford to cover the $600 fee over the misunderstanding to keep a happy customer but the manager mentioned that wasn’t an option. It was clear my truck was not abandoned, but they seized the opportunity to legally steal my truck and hold it for ransom over expired tags. I guess they think they are the police or ADOT around here, I wouldn’t be surprised if management gets a percentage of the tow fee, which is why they are so eager to tow cars around here. If you’re thinking of moving here think again bc your car might be targeted -update, I couldn’t care less about the generic owner response likely written by AI that is saying a whole lot of nothing, I’m still paying $600+dollars bc of you guys and your error of not having my license plate on file to notify me about my truck. This could have easily been avoided. Towing it over the holidays too really shows how much you care lol

I’ve lived here for about 4 months now, and while I’ve had occasional incidents with neighbors and outside maintenance vendors, I have only had pleasant and positive experiences with the Heritage District team. Amy has been so kind, going out of her way to ensure that we have a positive experience living here and being so welcoming. Everyone in the leasing office is always friendly and helpful. I’ve sent a few messages via the Cortland app and have always received timely, thorough responses. I really appreciate the Heritage District team for everything they do, and can’t recommend them enough! Thank you Amy and team!
Maile R — Google review
My husband and I have lived here for over a year in a half now, and it has just been so great! We've had a few things that have needed fixing, and the maintenance team(Stella, Al, Felipe and Austin) have all been amazing! It's so easy to put a work order in, and the turnaround time in getting things fixed has been really fast! Plus, just general maintenance around the apartment complex is top notch...they keep the place looking good!
Kayla M — Google review
Jazlyn in the office is very helpful and responsive to my needs. I’ve been living here for two years and I love it. I love the free breakfast on Saturdays because it helps me out with feeding my children on a day I need a break. Maintenance is very quick. The pools are always cleaned.
Crystal B — Google review
I want to be clear that I do not have personal experience living at this particular Cortland property. However, I do have direct experience with its manager, Amy Arens, from another Cortland community that she also oversees. When we begged Amy for help remediating a serious mold issue in our bathroom — at a time when I was covered in a rash from my neck down — she stood in our bathroom and suggested our health issues might be from “eating moldy foods.” For the record, I do not sit around eating moldy foods, and I found this to be an incredibly dismissive and unprofessional response. Because management style often carries over between properties, I believe it’s important for prospective residents to know about my firsthand experience with Amy’s approach to handling resident concerns.

This is my first apartment that I have ever moved into on my own. Jazlyn showed me and my parents around and we were all very pleasantly surprised with the location and how kind and helpful she was. I met Amy when I picked up my keys and she was very kind! She was so excited for me and seemed very genuine in helping me with move in. I am about 3 weeks in and am loving it!

My daughter and her two kids haven't Even spent one night in this apartment yet, first let me explain that the initial apartment she was rented was completely water damaged, the floor was completely buckled, we had a uhaul full of brand new furniture waiting to be moved in. Management switched the apartment for her and as we were putting furniture together went to the kitchen to find a sink full of cockroaches ,moved the fridge out and tons of more roaches. She has spent thousands of dollars in deposits, and moving expenses to not be able to live in the apartment. This has been our experience in less then 24 hours

The Downtown Gilbert Water Tower stands as a symbol of the vibrant Heritage District, where history and modernity intertwine beautifully. This area is not just about the iconic water tower; it’s also home to the Gilbert Historical Museum, nestled in a former elementary school from 1913. The museum showcases local heritage through engaging exhibits that foster community spirit and collaboration. As you stroll through Downtown Gilbert, you'll be captivated by its charming architecture and lively atmosphere, perfect for both locals and visitors alike.
Beautiful place to read, eat lunch or spend time with the family. Plenty of shade and places for the kids to run around and have fun

We love downtown Gilbert. The food options are incredible and the atmosphere makes for a memorable experience. The Gilbert water tower lit up at night is a must see.

This is a great place to bring a toddler. The splash pad water is nice and cool and the area was really clean. They have a farmers market on Saturdays, and there's tons of restaurants nearby as well

It's super nice having a splash pad right under the water tower and so close to the rest of downtown. I also appreciate the plaques around the area describing the history of Gilbert and the water tower.

Had a burger from a food truck about 10 minutes away and came to walk the Gilbert strip to digest. Great people watching, restaurants, ice cream shops and nice people.

Love love love this location day or night! Farmers markets in the weekends, splash pad for the kiddos and right in the heart of downtown gilbert!

She is an Icon. Park near water tower makes Gilbert still feel like a town rather than how big it has become. In the early 2000’s, many of the local elementary schools raised money to ensure that it stayed standing as it was at risk of being removed since it was in disrepair.
Kaity T — Google review
My review is about the Water Tower's splash pad. It wasn't turned on the summer of 2021 but it is finally back on and we went for the first time with the water spouting. My daughter has a good time. We walked to Topo's for lunch and went back to the splash pad to eat. It's a good time. Not 5 stars because when it comes to splash pads, this one is pretty basic.

SanTan Village is a sprawling open-air shopping destination that spans an impressive 1.2 million square feet in the vibrant downtown Gilbert area. Since its completion in 2007, it has become a hub for both retail and dining, featuring popular stores like Sephora, Macy's, Nordstrom Rack, and Lululemon. This lively venue not only offers an extensive selection of shops but also boasts some of the best eateries in town.
San Tan Mall is a great mall! I love that it is an outside mall and that I can just drive my car up to the stores that I am interested in visiting on that day. The property is always in such great condition, clean and pleasant during the summer with the misting system going. I highly recommend it
Michelle S — Google review
If shopping centers are your thing, this place is probably your Disneyland. Outdoor mall, lots of solid places to eat, tons of stores to burn your wallet in, and a great spot to wander around and accidentally hit your step goal for the day. They even throw events in the main street area every so often which is a nice touch and makes it feel a little more alive than your average retail strip. Now, why 4 stars? Because it’s always packed. Like, "did everyone in the city decide to show up at the same time" packed. That might be your vibe, just not really mine. I get it, it’s a shopping center, it’s supposed to be busy, but that doesn’t mean I enjoy dodging strollers and getting hit with perfume samples while looking for a place to eat. Nothing wrong with it, honestly. It does what it’s meant to do and does it well. If you like shopping and eating out, it’s a 5 all day. For me? Good spot, just not where I’d choose to hang unless I need something or get dragged into a brunch outing.
Mike M — Google review
The Apple Store is located in a very convenient place at San Tan Village. With a large parking area on the east side of mall you can park and walk easily to store. Very helpful and courteous people are assisting others like me.
Robin O — Google review
Great service and an exceptional meal. I had the chicken southwest salad. The veggies tasted fresh and crispy. The chicken was nicely seasoned. I also had the shorty onion rings scan appetizer. They were fantastic. The ranch sauce was great. I did try the red sauce, forgot that it was called, I didn't care much for that one. My guest had the Red Robin Cheeseburger. The burger was cooked to his specifications, a good temperature, and flavorful.
Bev M — Google review
This is a complete shopping and dinning experience location with multiple choices. You have many brands including Chanel, Sephora, stores like Dicks, and eateries here. Also kids friendly with many options to keep kids entertained. Only drawback is tht it's all under the sun and in high heat days its impossible to explore the place
Arti K — Google review
Great place to shop til you drop then wind down the day with great happy hour specials or watch movie and grab a bite inside Harkins. It can be great experience most year round but be prepared for unseasonably hot weather in warmer months.
Jason H — Google review
Such a nice mall with so much potential but now that Banana Republic closed, the only spots to shop for nicer men’s clothing is Dillard’s or Macy’s. Unless you’re in high school and prefer Buckle or Hollister, there’s almost nothing for men here compared to other malls in the Phoenix Metro. 😔
Fresh D — Google review
Love the variety of retail stores to shop from, all my favorites are here. Along with a great variety of restaurants to choose from. One of my favorite restaurants is Thirsty Lion due to the exceptional service and delicious food.

Barbecue restaurant
Restaurant
Joe's Real BBQ, located on Gilbert Road, is a cafeteria-style spot offering mouthwatering traditional barbecued ribs, chopped brisket, and pulled pork. The restaurant is housed in a historic brick building dating back to 1929 and exudes the ambiance of Arizona's golden age. It provides a casual and relaxed setting for families to enjoy deliciously smoked dishes over pecan wood.
What a great place to celebrate a birthday! The line servers were so hospitable and friendly, exactly what you'd expect if the Walton's went for a meal on the town We ordered a 2 meat platter, with sliced brisket and ribs. Both were succulent, but that moist brisket is some of the best we've ever had. Great Americana ambiance with homemade BBQ sauce, and... Homemade Root Beer on fountain! The best root beer you'll find is right here, and they can serve it as a float. The Mac and cheese is tasty with a breadcrumb topping, and the potato salad was ok. If you have any room left in your breadbasket, then finish off your meal with a peach cobbler, a la mode. I was happier than a squealing pig running through a pen full of farmer's daughters.
Brett B — Google review
Haven’t been to Joe’s BBQ in yearss and was really excited to get a baked potato. I ordered a baked potato with everything on it & added pulled pork on the side. The presentation of the baked potato was so phenomenal I had to ask hype up the sweet gal that made it! Her name is Leilani and the photos of her potato masterpiece are attached below. The young gentleman at the cash register was so friendly as well; great banter with my friend and I. Had a great dinner with my friend here at Joe’s BBQ :) Food was delicious and staff were kind.

We ordered the big feast and some amazing sides that included the baked beans, mac n cheese, some extra sausages and corn. Meats were absolutely delicious and melt in your mouth! The cornbread was the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely come back!
Longtravelers — Google review
My family loves going to Joe’s Real Barbecue, especially for birthdays since they give you $14 off your meal. I always go for the house salad with chopped brisket it’s juicy, full of flavor, and so good I don’t even need dressing. The portions are big, the food’s satisfying, and we enjoy hanging out at the picnic tables while the kids play games like cornhole and Twister.
Nellie W — Google review
The Hello Culture Gilbert just had our monthly Content Shoot here at Joe's Real BBQ in September. Management was very accommodating to our group size, the area outside and in the enclosed patio were extremely clean and well taken care of. They provided our event with cold waters to combat the heat as well as had such a lovely space to gather content for this and other local businesses. We really appreciate Joe & Tad for working with us for this event & we can not wait to partner with them again in the future!
Sarah K — Google review
The cuisine, while decent, is not commensurate with its price point. While the chopped brisket is a flavourful, albeit supplementary option, its high fat-to-meat ratio diminishes its value. The mac and cheese, lacking in a robust and distinctive flavour, is overpowered by the taste of the pasta. The inclusion of an extra sharp cheddar could potentially enhance its profile. The service is commendable, yet the high cost remains disproportionate to the quality of the food. Additionally, it’s a very crowded and boisterous place.
Rodrigo A — Google review
Hands-down, the best ribs, cornbread, and barbecue sauce. When we originally lived in Arizona, we used to come here often and loved it. Finally moved back and it’s as good as ever, if not better. Been to endless bbq places, even in Texas and this is still number 1.

Located in Gilbert, Arizona, the Gilbert Arizona Temple is a stunning architectural marvel that belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While only members of the church are allowed inside the entire building, visitors can still admire its beautiful stained glass windows and serene atmosphere from the waiting room. The temple has served as a sanctuary for weary travelers and refugees. Its intricate design makes it a must-see attraction in Gilbert, which is also known for its small-town charm and family-friendly environment.
I always love going here. Such a spiritual experience every time. Walking the grounds is always my favorite. The flowers are so pretty. There's always a dove in the gardens, which I think is pretty cool.
Linnaea B — Google review
Beautiful temple. Went by there on a Sunday so we weren’t able to go in but I’m glad we were able to go see it. Pretty cool to see from the freeway as well.
Eli S — Google review
I absolutely love the Gilbert LDS Temple. It’s stunning inside and out and always feels peaceful and serene. The design reminds me of a giant, glowing sugar cube, especially at night, and the inside is always refreshingly cool thanks to the strong AC (which is a huge plus in Arizona!). Some of the lower reviews seem to misunderstand how temples work. The temple is open to the public during open houses before it’s dedicated, but after that, access is limited to those who hold a current temple recommend. This isn’t about excluding people it’s about preserving the sacred nature of what happens inside. The grounds, however, are always beautifully maintained and open for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a member or just admiring the architecture, this temple is truly a gem in Gilbert. A peaceful, sacred space that lifts your spirit just by being near it. *note not all days are full of positivity and love, but striving to do your best is what counts.

Its great, i had a fantastic experience going through for the first time. The spirit of the lord is truly there. Members and non members are always welcome on the grounds, also the water feature and plants are gorgous.

This beautiful temple has an amazing path to walk around. You can sit and relax outside. Lots of parking. It's a place for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to do proxy work, get married, and to do baptisms for the dead. You need to be a member to go inside with a temple recommend. During my visit it was closed for cleaning.
JamiSue S — Google review
Amazing place. So beautiful. There is such a feeling of peace here. Anyone is welcome to walk the grounds, but to be able to participate in the ordinances inside you need to be a member of the church.

The most beautiful building inside and out. For those who are not familiar, this building is a temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Only members of the said church are allowed to enter into the entire building while most everyone can enter the waiting room if acting and dressing appropriately. This is a reverent building which means everyone is quiet and respectful. I was married (sealed) to my husband at this beautiful place and it was an amazing experience.

Located at the intersection of Greenfield and Guadalupe Road, right next to the Riparian Preserve at the Water Ranch, Southeast Regional Library is a spacious and modern facility offering an extensive collection of over 170,700 reading materials in various formats. Visitors can enjoy comfortable seating by lakeside windows while indulging in their favorite reads. The library also provides high-tech amenities such as internet access, word processing computers, and age-inclusive programming.
Another Gilbert gem is the Southeast Regional Library. Located next to the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, it is well laid out with plenty of books, dvds, cds, blue rays, and a wide variety of other features. Plenty for children and grown-ups to enjoy.

Great place to get work done. They offer very large tables along the whole Lakeside window wall with a great view of the lake. Usually pretty quiet in here and the staff is very helpful.
Eric D — Google review
My children and I enjoy visiting this library on a monthly basis. The staff is kind and willing to help. Only “complaint” is that election field workers usually hang out front to collect signatures however it doesn’t deter us from visiting.
LeAna — Google review
the nature preserve outside and the library itself is beautiful. the value of “we accept/welcome all” is absolutely amazing, and I am not against that at all. i believe children have just as much of a right to be here as anyone else, and I genuinely don’t mind a shout every now and then, as kids will do that. However, the shouting is not “every now and then.” it is constant and library staff do not say anything to the parents so it goes on for hours. there are also grown adults speaking at full volume, watching videos, etc. there is zero library etiquette here. its not a suitable environment to get any kind of work done or even read. the purpose of libraries is to rent books and read. thats WHY library etiquette exists. but this place really does feel like more of a entertainment center.
Cat H — Google review
The Southeast Regional Library was remodeled from the old Gilbert Town Hall, which explains its wide hallways and high ceilings. The library offers a wide variety of books, and the spaces for adults and children are separated, making it easy to focus. The children’s area, in particular, is decorated so charmingly that it feels like stepping into a storybook. All the staff members were very kind, and I had an enjoyable experience using the library. I would love to visit again in the future.
Sarah — Google review
This is on the walk to the library which is also very pretty one of my favorite places to go. Can spend a whole day there just marveling creation which is nice is pretty is good. Pack a picnic and bring a book. There are a wide variety of birds and ducks and if you walk a little ways toward or past the canals you will run into a little petting zoo farm type place. The sweet man dresses up like Santa as well at Christmas time.

Me and my daughters favorite library, we love going after school and can spend hours in there. Huge selection, lots of different spaces, and a nice view too! So glad this library is around 📖
Aliyah M — Google review
Great library that's quite new looking even though I think it's been around for awhile. It's well designed and organized, brightly lit, clean, and has a great children's section with so many books. There's a Friends of the library bookstore at the entrance lobby, and 2 clean (but smelly the day we visited) bathrooms. My kids say this one also has many more books they like here than at Queen Creek library even though that one is quite big too. It can get pretty loud here as there's a lot of little ones, from babies to toddlers. But that's too be expected in the children's area. Overall, this is an excellent library with so many books and other resources.

Agritopia Farm is an ideal destination for those interested in exploring the forgotten arts of backyard gardening and sustainability. It offers both an educational and enjoyable experience, as visitors are introduced to the captivating world of organic farming. The farm also boasts a coffee shop that serves delicious sandwiches and tea at reasonable prices, making it a great spot for a day date. Visitors can stroll through the gardens, observe chickens, and browse the farm store.
We stopped by not knowing this was open to walk through! Absolutely great for little ones to run and see various flower and vegetables. It was wonderful to see how the community is able to grow and flourish - literally!

I bought a produce box for 42 dollars (2 heads Romain, 2 tiny bags sugar snap peas <9 peas each>, 2 bunches Swiss chard<one yellow and one red stem>, 2 bunches green onions, 8 carrots, 2 clam shells mint, 4 smallish sweet potato, 5 daikon radishes.) The carrots were broken and the pieces missing! If you're going to snap my carrots... at least include the other half! Romain was wilting on day 2 (no picture since I tore it up and soaked it in ice water hoping to bring it to life.). Green onions were flowering and fairly bland and slimy. The snap peas were near inedible: bland, yellowing, scarred and limp and harvested when they were overgrown, not tender sweet "baby". The Swiss chard has almost definitely been sitting around for days with its stems tough and browned. The radish greens (I usually cook up) look beat to hell (yellowed and bug eaten)...and may just go to the compost. I haven't tried the sweet potato, but they look well enough. And the mint is well.... but mint grows like a weed in my own yard. Also... this is supposed to be enough for 5 people? Perhaps I eat a lot of greens but this will be enough for 2 people in my house for maybe 5 days. I'm so thankful I bought the one box to try them out before I committed to more. On the plus side I picked up at Wild Harvest Bread Company and found a gem. Super disappointed in Agritopia though. I'll stick with schnepf, azure standard, some organic food from Frys and Produce on Wheels. I wanted to support local but I should have been warned this food wasn't fresh, and has been handled roughly. It's more of a "seconds quality".... like a misfits market at a higher price AND I had to drive 30 minutes to their closest drop while misfits is delivered to my door. Sorry! (Edited to add photos... you decide.... is this worth 42 bucks and a 30 minute drive?)

Stopped by during our fall break to check out the free farm tour! We had a blast and learned so much, our tour guide was amazing and was so knowledgable! We got the in season dates and we could not believe that they were the best dates we've EVER tasted ( which is saying a lot as I lived in the middle east where dates are a huge deal) we will be very sad when we run out. Make a day and enjoy this lovely farm.

My boyfriend and I came here for a cute day date. We got a sandwich and tea at the coffee shop, very good food and prices. Then we walked around the gardens and saw the chickens then visited the farm store. We had a lot of fun enjoying the beautiful weather

We recently went to Agritopia Farm for peach picking and had a wonderful experience! The farm is beautiful and well-kept, with rows of peach trees full of ripe, juicy fruit.

This was such a delight to have run across. Beautiful garden that supplies food to a restaurant for fresh eating. Pretty spot for photosas well.
Andrea N — Google review
Visited to buy peaches on one occasion and peach leaves on another. I discovered that they would rather let their peaches rot on the ground in waste than let a distributor pick up bulk amounts for a discount ($500 for 100lbs of peaches and we picked them). I was told I could purchase peach leaves for a reasonable price when we bought the peaches. Today I came back to purchase leaves. Called and emailed multiple times with no answer. Their voicemail said to just come in to talk. I came in to talk at 4pm after traveling an hour and was told I could not have peach leaves and to go to schnepf farms (another hour away). Agritopia is a showcase farm only, they do not offer actual farm services, they only care about making money off their shops while showing a “farm like” ambiance. Below you can see they would rather let their peaches rot than be bought by locals.

Movie theater
Regal Gilbert Stadium 14 is a luxurious theater complex with multiple screens, plush seating, and a concession stand. Visitors are greeted with comfort and elegance upon entering the theater. It's tucked back location offers a peaceful movie experience without the chaos of bigger theaters. The recliners in all theaters provide comfortable seating, and the theater is never too busy, ensuring quick service at the concessions. Despite its hidden gem status, Regal Gilbert Stadium 14 is well-kept with great sound and screen quality.
Watching movies here is always a fun time. They’ve got tons of snacks, the popcorn is warm and buttery, and the drinks are super refreshing. It just feels better enjoying it all at the theater totally worth checking out!
Cynthia R — Google review
⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ Came in with my family to watch *King of Kings* and no one warned me I needed to start saving months in advance to afford it comfortably. I’m talking **\$100** just in tickets and snacks. A hundred bucks! For popcorn, soda, and the right to sit in a squeaky chair for two hours. I don’t usually go to the movies and now I remember why. It’s not a night out, it’s a financial commitment. I came for entertainment, not an existential crisis at the snack counter. Next time, I’ll wait for the streaming release and enjoy it in my PJs with snacks that didn’t cost me half a paycheck.
David J — Google review
The railing is right in front of the screen. They need to raise the seats up so the railing is lower than the screen. Also, the carpet along the stairs, and some areas along the back row, smell strongly of cat urine. This was in room 7. We definitely will avoid this theater.
S L — Google review
False advertising. Tron bucket. It’s says “only in theaters 10/10”. We pre booked. They sold out yesterday? Why on the ad does it say Only 10/10? You sold out 10/9? That math does not math. That’s not even girl math. “Sorry we pre released Thursday”. No. It says 10/10. “You should call ahead next time” we pre booked through your site with the promise of 10/10. We came here because of this ad and the manager heard us (walking behind the kid trying to help us) and just kept walking. And as a manager you would have heard my husband getting a little louder and come over at least shook his hand an apologized? Not a thing. No even a glance. Head down. You have minimal staffing of teenagers who are unpaid and don’t care. The one kid that did “try” to help just said sorry. Over and over. I could just walk in and watch a movie, no scanner and I don’t think anyone would care. Basic food. No alcohol or even Dr Pepper. Also wash down the bird poop outside and clean better inside. It’s filthy. Have a greeter? I even asked my husband “did we come in the right door?” Because no one cared. I got “hey good evening” and he kept walking. You have blood on toilet seats with the bathroom doors propped open. That’s implies cleaning in process. No cleaner.

Came after seeing advertisements for promo bucket and cup for harry potter. I quickly booked the tickets a week in advance. I then tried calling multiple times to verify this location would have the items but every call went unanswered. I live over an hour from this theater but still gave it a chance. I showed up early to try and secure the merch. I was then told that the product hasn't come in. I contemplating leaving but decided to enjoy the movie. A female working at the concession was visibly frustrated when working on my order. I still chose to ignore her attitude. When looking for our theater, i encountered a stench thorough the hall and inside the room. I've never been to regal theaters before but I will not be going ever again. Not worth even the causal movie. Speaking for myself, the experience wasn't what I would like to repeat.
Habrina M — Google review
Theater wasn't too bad but the prices here do seem higher than say AMC or Harkins. Plenty of parking, including accessible spots. Once you get in, they have concessions area where you can get your popcorn. They have salt packets to season your popcorn, and speaking of which their popcorn just doesn't seem to taste as buttery as other theaters. However, very nice generous size! I love their reclining seats- wide and comfy. Movie screen was big and clear. Overall decent experience.
A Z — Google review
The theaters have really great, large comfortable seats, with lots of room. They're also very clean. If they would update their food and drink area it would be alot more appealing. First impression wise.
Eena E — Google review
Decent enough theater however patrons are being overly loud and Regal isnt enforcing it's own rules. Snacks are mid and the online booking fee was 50% of the ticket price (for an older movie). Be better, Regal!

Water Tower Plaza is a charming community park located in the heart of Gilberts Heritage District, making it a vibrant hub for both locals and visitors. Established in 2008, this compact 0.7-acre space features delightful attractions such as a splash pad that offers kids an exciting way to cool off during those warm Arizona days. The iconic Gilbert Water Tower looms above, serving as a picturesque backdrop for family outings.
family friendly place to relax and enjoy all Gilbert has to offer. under the water tower there are plenty of chairs to sit and relax, I like to come and read during the week. the newly renovated water pad is a great place to cool off. fun for all ages. there are plenty of tables and chairs to have your lunch, play a competitive game of chess or gather with friends and family. there is a large grassy area for children to play ,have a picnic with friends or play with your furry friends (remember to pick up after your furry friends ) At night the plaza lights up, whether you are coming out of the theater and want to talk about the play you saw at the Hale Centre theater or just want to let your meal digest from one of the many restaurants on Gilbert rd. Gilbert water tower plaza is the place for you.

There’s a ton of fun and excitement happening under the Gilbert Water Tower! You’ll find great restaurants, live music, theater shows, and some awesome nightlife. The whole area really comes alive at night with an energetic vibe.

A cool oasis in Downtown Gilbert. Home of the Gilbert Water Tower, this small park has a grassy hill, water play area and plenty of seating. A great space to visit in the mornings & evenings for great views of the sunrise & sunset. This is a good place for portrait photography, too. (Updated): the town recently completed an upgrade to the Water Tower Plaza. This includes a renovated splash pad, new public restrooms, and a newer grassy area. The splash pad also has seating and a shade canopy. All of this ups the family friendly space with more room for playtime ..and lots more ways to get soaked. Gilbert Water Tower Plaza continues to be a great place to relax, cool off, and see free shows. If you are in the area stop by

Nice place for big and small kids to cool down on those hot summer days! 🔥

Gilbert officials have done a great job making this part of old town a destination. There's so much around the Water Tower Plaza including numerous great restaurants, the Hale Theater Performing Arts Center, small eateries, coffee shops, BBQ, and more. Just across the street from this "pocket park" is a bank of public restrooms with hand washing stations adjacent. Smart. Convenient. The old pump house can be easily overlooked. It's just feet from the old water tower. A nice spot to visit any time of day.
AJ L — Google review
This place is so fun. You should especially bring your children to play in the water fountains under the water tower. I highly recommend spending an hour or two here in the summertime.
