Nice museum showing the history of Quidlinburg and the castle. Very informative when you can read and understand German - which we luckily do. Not much information in English. The whole walk to the castle is super nice with the old streets and there is a fantastic view over the city from the castle garden.

Impressive Romanesque church from the beginning of the 12th century on the site of an older buildings. In the crypt is the grave of the first German King Henry I. from year 936. Clean architecture, amazing Romanesque columns.

Really old church with loads of history. Was the burial place of Henry 1 who's considered to be the first German king. Pay to go in. It's a bit of a steep climb up to it but good views outside. No toilets but there are cafés on the way who will let you use theirs if you buy a drink or pay.

If you can return at another time when the renovations have finished, do that. We felt a bit cheated for paying in order to get into the well-guarded church full of scaffolding 🤨 The treasure was interesting but not abundant. The organ was being tuned so that also wasn't great. Nice personel. Probably worth the trip, when the renovations are done (when the other castle museum is also open).

Cathedral is reconstructed so its not really lot of historic building in situ but city is stunning and one of nicest in whole germany, def ecomend as a day trip. Happy to went there

This place is beautiful in all seasons to visit! You can walk around from one historical place to another. Even just walking around made us feel the atmosphere. Unfortunately castle was closed when we arrived and we had limited time but I’d definitely go back and explore it around more.

Visited this Brauhaus whilst on a day trip to Quedlingburg. I had Bierfleisch which was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. The house beers , a helles and a dunkel were distinctive and good quality , I also had a very nice local liqueur . Good surroundings and friendly & knowledge staff. Strongly recommended.

Decided to pop in on the off chance they had a table for two. We sat in the gallery which was nice. The food was really good - portion was big, tasty, and just what I was hoping for. The wait staff were friendly and helpful even though it was busy with lots of tables to serve. Food was on the table 15mins after we ordered. I can't wait to come back and bring friends! Note - we came on a week day after the Christmas markets had closed for the year. Probably a bit different if it is a weekend or during high tourist season.

Loved this place as a Vegetarian! They have a great selection of Vegetarian/Vegan options, not only with Vegetables but they have vegan meat alternatives and Falafel for example! And you can even turn any Vegetarian option into Vegan! Besides the food, the location is also really cool! It's like they have all this "garden" for themselves with one of the touristic must-see right in front of them! And if you know about Neni, you know how delicious their Hummus is, well they have Neni's Hummus in their Menu! How great is that!

Situated in a cobblestoned medieval yard, this gem of a restaurant offers a very good variety of tasty vegan flammkuchen (and non-vegan). There are both sweet and savory options here as well as a healthy looking bowl. I had the potato flammkuchen and it was delicious. I could imagine that it would be nice to sit outside in summer. Inside was warm and spacious with that impressive architecture you find in medieval buildings and the ceiling was very pretty. The service was friendly, fast and competent.

Firstly it is located at a cosy place & rather quiet. Secondly the lady owner is so sweet & helpful. They even have an English speaking waiter, so it's so easy to order & ask, even an English menu. We ordered lamb with pikant sauce, so yummy & lamb fillet with french fries. It's totally recommended! Definitely highly recommended! Price wise, it's a little costly, but it's worthy!
