Tried Shahi Samosa near Ghantaghar and it definitely lives up to its name! The samosas were crispy, fresh, and really tasty. The potato filling is quite similar to what they use in their other snacks like mirchi vada, but it still works perfectly inside the samosa. Overall, the flavor was great and the texture spot on, crisp outside and flavorful inside. A must-try if you’re visiting Jodhpur!

This outlet is near Clock Tower. It is located in a bustling local market. Samosa offered here is crisp and tasty. Filling of samosa has a tinge of lemon which makes it unique. Mirchi Bada and Pyaj Kachori is also very famous here. Kachori too is crisp and tasty. After eating these namkeens you can relish lassi which is thick and nicely sweet. You have to stand and eat here or pack it for home.

The samosa has salty masala stuffing without chutney, and instead they serve it with bread, which felt unusual for me. Personally, I didn’t like the taste, but you’ll still see a big crowd here as it’s a popular local spot.

The samosa was nice, but the famous Mirchi Vada was undercooked and disappointing. The place was EXTREMELY crowded, making it hard to find a spot or enjoy comfortably. Overall, decent taste but not worth the hype.

Visited Janta Sweets near Jodhpur railway station and tried their Pyaaz Kachori, Bedmi Puri, Aloo Paratha, Makhaniya Lassi, Mango Lassi, and chai. Most items were average. The flavors felt muted compared to what we are used to in Delhi. The Makhaniya Lassi had a thick blob of sweetened raw butter with barely any actual lassi. The Mango Lassi tasted more like a mango shake, and even the chai was just okay. Service was a bit slow, though everything is made fresh. The place looks air-conditioned, but only air coolers were on. Staff was polite, and pricing is very reasonable. The highlight, however, was the jalebi; crisp, rich, and full of true desi ghee flavor. It stood out from the rest and felt genuinely special. Worth a stop if you are nearby, especially for the jalebi. Just go in with modest expectations for the rest.

Always a treat to visit this place. There is everything here for anyone who love food. Best to have here: Ghevar, kachoris. I tried Kabuli for the first time here, such small qty is not justified for 60₹ . Better to avoid.

Don’t miss the Jalebi if you’re visiting this place—it was absolutely delicious! The crispiness, texture, and perfectly balanced sweetness, along with the saffron aroma, created a unique flavor. The innovative twist in its shape made it stand out from other Jalebis I’ve tried before. Definitely a must-try! As for the Mirchi Vada, it wasn't quite to my liking. It was served a bit cold, which made me wonder if it had been fried earlier in the day, so I’d recommend asking for it to be served hot and fresh when ordering. Additionally, I found the masala to be a little tangy and sour in flavor, and it lacked the spiciness and depth I was hoping for. Personally, it tasted a bit plain, but others might enjoy it depending on their preferences.

I recently visited this sweet shop, and honestly, it feels a bit overhyped. The sweets were just average in taste — not as great as expected based on the reviews and reputation. The presentation was nice, but the overall flavor and quality didn’t really stand out. It’s okay for a one-time visit, but there are definitely better options around. and the Mawa Kachori, which everyone seemed to recommend, was especially disappointing. Do not miss this place if you are Jodhpur. Shri Mishrilal Hotel is located very close to Ghanta Ghar or clock tower. This 90 year old shop is famous for its Makhaniya lassi and rabdi. We tried Makhaniya lassi (Rs. 50) and Dal ka halwa (Rs. 60). Other items like Gulab jamun, pede, kachori, kalakand, sohan ka halwa, Besan chikki etc are served. The place is always crowded but the service is super fast. Pocket friendly place. During my three days stay, I visited this place twice. It's must visit place for lassi lovers.

Makhaniya Lassi in Jodhpur is definitely an experience. It’s super thick, creamy, and almost feels like eating shrikhand rather than drinking lassi. If you’ve had lassi in Punjab or Delhi, this might surprise you because it’s a little sour and much heavier. Honestly, it wasn’t really my taste since I prefer the smooth, drinkable style of lassi but I can see why locals love it. Maybe it’s the weather or the desert conditions here that make this version so popular. Still, worth trying once for the unique Jodhpur twist, even if it’s not the kind of lassi I’d usually go for.

Visited Shri Mishrilal Hotel near the Clock Tower, one of the most popular spots in Jodhpur, especially known for its Makhaniya Lassi. The lassi was thick, creamy, and rich in flavor, definitely refreshing on a hot day. However, it’s very sweet, a bit too sugary for my taste, so those who prefer less sweetness might find it a little heavy. Still, it’s a must-try experience given its fame and the number of visitors and celebrities who’ve stopped by. Perfect if you’re looking for a classic Jodhpur treat and a quick sugar boost!

Service has really gone down. We politely asked for a disposable spoon but the waiter brought it in his hand, then unnecessarily changed the whole glass and spoon. Gurunanak Lassi Olympic is much better.

Tried the kesar pista, strawberry and mango lassi. Loved the strawberry and kesar pista flavours. It was so thick and filling. There were so many strands of saffron in the kesar pista lassi. All of them were sealed cups. You can carry them home and drink it the same day.

Tried a Gypsy thali and puri with gatte ki sabji. The puri and the rest of the thali were delicious! The gatte ki sabji was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but overall, it was a good meal! 😊

Food Review: Overhyped & Pricey, with a Few Hits and Misses Tried this place after seeing it all over social media, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype created by food bloggers. The veg dishes tasted good — well-cooked and flavourful — but nothing extraordinary that justifies the buzz. Portion sizes were quite small for the price, making it feel overpriced, especially if you’re expecting a proper filling meal. The biggest disappointment was the Kabuli. It lacked flavor, was dry, and didn't have the rich taste you’d normally expect from a dish that’s usually packed with spices and aroma.

Visited Shandar Sweet Home to try their famous Gulab Jamun ki Sabzi and Kabuli Pulao, and both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were unique and totally worth trying. The Gulab Jamun Sabzi isn’t sweet, so don’t expect a dessert-like taste because it’s a savory dish and really well made. The only downside is that the quantity is a bit less and the seating is limited, so you might have to wait around 10–15 minutes during busy hours. Overall, a must-visit for anyone exploring local Rajasthani food in Jodhpur. Would definitely visit again!

Bahut Shandar, Bahut Shandar! My friends in Jodhpur highly recommended this place for lunch and dinner. We went there for lunch, and honestly, at first glance, we thought we had come to the wrong place, the restaurant is not fancy, has a too old school vibe, and is a bit congested. But once the food arrived, everything changed. We had Dal Fry, Malai Kofta, Masala Papad, and ended with Fruit Cream and Meva Cream. The Dal Fry and Meva Cream are absolute must-tries! The taste more than makes up for the simple ambience.

Authentic Rajasthani Taste! Shandar Sweet Home is a must-visit place if you're in Jodhpur and want to try delicious local Rajasthani food. Their served sabji with ghee just like home. Facts: 1. Limited and congusted seating (as the restaurant is a retro place- open since many decades) - Wait time was 15-20mins. 2. Hygiene is for sure not up to the mark - Don't go there if you can't compromise on hygiene. Saw many rats in the restaurant (you can have your own imagination now). 3. Subzis like - Kaju daakh, koftas were just average - Gravy is same for all subzis (with lots of ghee). Portions were small as well. 4. Heard so highly of Kabuli (rice dish)- however I found it less flavourful and dry. 5. Don't try any dessert here - Lassi was too sweet and had malai roti - Seems not fresh (regretted ordering it) 6. No baby friendly food. No customisation possible. A few good points: 1. Dal fry was very good in taste - one can go for only dal fry and roti. 2. Staff was polite and quick in service. 3. Owner was humble as well. Overall found it an overpriced and hyped placed. Note- This is my personal opinion.

Founded by late Bhati ji this place is located in the heart of city inside jalori gate. Unlike typical restaurant this place is not so spacious yet popular for it's authentic taste. I tried dal it was quite good 10/10 But paneer was not so good 7/10 The only special part is they cook every meal in sudh desi ghee. The staff is very friendly and believes in hospitality. Utensils can be improved over the time. Overall a good experience to try.

Today bought 1 kg of gulab halwa. They were two packets of 1/2 kg each. I am vomiting now after eating and not feeling well, Because it was sour and may be old. If you are taking MRP rate then you should provide fresh quality. I suggest everyone first taste and then buy. They are also selling bad odor and sour Halwa.

Visited Dec 2022. Only had Gulab Halwa/Pali Ka Halwa. So rating is for that only. Quite tasty. Unique. Recommended. See attached pics. The owner sells exactly by weight btw. The one piece I ordered cost me Rs 23.

I’m sharing my genuine feedback about quality. This product originally comes from Pali district and many people sells it in different parts in Rajasthan and I bought it from this Gilab Halwa Shop in sardarpura shop and highly disappointed due to it’s pathatic quality which was tasted like fata milk ka paneer. Sometimes you blindly trust the brand and buy it. Always check quality thoroughly and then buy it.

There is no compromise from quality. It's also protected from the high price of milk cack in jodhpur. I always prefer for my friends and relatives. As per information the product is monopoly item of gulab ji prepared in pali district.

By far the best quality savoury and sweets in Jodhpur. While there are several specialist stores, the base level of EVERYTHING here is very high. Savouries: mirchi bada, kachori, kofta and the packaged namkeens are all wow. Sweets: barfis, laddoos, bengali sweets, wet sweets, baklava - they have it all. Highly recommend the Jalebi, Dal Badam Barfi, Besan Barfi, Rabri Laddoo. Bonus: super clean. And amazingly courteous staff.

Do not try their jalebi, I was passing from near bye and turned after the smell of freshly made Jalebi's. Bought half kg and reached home. Although, quality is top notch but Jalebi's were not soaked properly and were completely dry. Lesson learned-only dry fruit sweets are their forte.

Bhawani Bhati Dal Churma offers a delicious and authentic Rajasthani dining experience. The dal was perfectly spiced, the baati was well-cooked with a nice crunch on the outside and softness inside, and the churma had just the right amount of sweetness. I visited this very hyped place in Jodhpur, since many vloggers had recommended it. I tried dal baati churma and found it quite average & there was nothing exceptional about it. Maybe the food quality has gone down recently, or its always been this way - not sure - but personally I didn’t enjoy it a lot. However prices are very affordable & if you like dal baati you can try this.

If you are visiting the older parts of Jodhpur City, this restaurant is highly recommended. Fine dining, rooftop experience with a Maharangar Fort view. Great for trying out local, veg / non vegetarian cuisines. I also stayed at their BNB... Pal Haveli Inn that's also fantastic. Has the old word charm of Royal elegance.

Friendly and charming staff who showed us to a table with a not very good view of the fort with a promise to move when a further table became available. A promise that they kept. Had cold beer and cocktails - the old fashioned was good but a pretty short measure frankly. We had laal maans, veg rice and some breads. It was a lovely evening and chilled on top of the roof. Highly recommended. Not the cheapest but it does what it says on the tin.

Jodhpur is one town full of culture and traditions. We can call it Maharaja city of Rajasthan. Indique is one of the most memorable moment in the trip. We were suggested this place and it was more than we expected.  Best time to visit the restaurant is evening after 630 pm and best place to sit is rooftop. On one side is Ghanta Ghar, other side fountain and backdrop is Mehrangarh Fort. The food was awesome,  we started with Chicken Tikka, tender and just the best of spices  and ended with Lal Maas and Bajra roti, absolutely authentic.  Our server Mr. Harchand Ram took well care. Later we wished to speak to the chief chef. Mr. Vishal Gautam was extremely pleasant personality to speak to. He shared few secrets which made their food best in town. Hats off to Vishal who prepares the best food in Jodhpur.  Whenever you are visiting this town,  never miss it, its mesmerizing. The best of view and the best of food in town.

The Atmosphere was great but is also available in any other Rooftop Restaurant in the City. Still we enjoyed the sunset there with a drink in our hand. The Service was nice and polite but very slow and seemed unorganised with many different waiters serving us, which led to a confusion in our order. When the sunlight went away at some point, the rooftop terrace was also dark and the staff was not prepared fast enough, so we had to check our menu with our phone flashlight and later got a small cheap table lamp. The food was okay at best and overpriced. We ordered a Paneer Lababdar and is was poor in taste, more fat than anything and the Naan was not properly baked as well as the Paratha. The portions were comparatively small to other restaurant we stayed with a similiar price range. In conclusion, the restaurant seems overhyped and to be using the advantage of previous positive ratings. Would maybe check other restaurants beforehand.

I recently visited On The Rocks, Jodhpur, and had an amazing experience! The ambiance is beautiful a perfect mix of charm and a modern vibe. The staff is courteous, service is quick, and the food is delicious. As a vegetarian, I loved their Pan-Asian dishes especially the Pad Thai noodles, wontons, and sushi. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. A must-visit spot in Jodhpur for great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service!

Dishes lacked depth and refinement, and the portions felt insubstantial for the price point. Overall, the meal was disappointing and fell far short of expectations for a restaurant of this stature. Service was adequate but unremarkable. While staff were courteous, the attentiveness and efficiency expected in such a premium environment were missing. It felt more like a 3-star service experience in a 5-star ambience. In summary, On The Rocks is worth visiting if you want to enjoy the ambience, but if you are seeking a memorable culinary experience, the food and service leave much to be desired.

I came to this place because it’s definitely a must visit. I saw so many great recommendations. When I ordered, there was a bit of a language barrier with the server, and my order was misunderstood. I repeated it and even showed photos to another server of what I wanted. They brought my food along with an extra dish I didn’t order. It seemed like a genuine misunderstanding due to the language issue, but unfortunately, I had to speak to a third server to clarify. I then overheard the staff explaining the situation to a manager,and it felt uncomfortable and a bit unpleasant. I can tell the servers weren’t very happy and I am sorry about it. In the end, I decided to take my food to go and I left. I would suggest having a server with a stronger level of English for tourists.

One time visit i say . Near Ajith Bhavan circuit house. But non veg not good as hype ! Almost everything is exceptional, the vibe, food, property and welcoming behaviour of the staff. The staff though was helpful and polite and they replaced the glass and spoon when I let them know about it. Other than this issue, I like everything about this place. I would recommend visiting this place for both lunch and dinner as it has a completely different vibe during morning and night. They also have an amazing bar. It's almost impossible to explain the vibe of it. You'll get to know it when you visit.

We went to this place as per suggestion of a friend who is based in Jodhpur.Since it was a summer afternoon we opted for an indoor sitting. We tried Indian as well as Italian cuisine. We tried Panchmel subzi which is more like a mix veg along with butter roti and missi roti. You may find subzi little on spicier side, it makes sense to inform the staff in advance if you do not prefer spicy food. We also tried honey chilly potato and chicken penne pasta. Both the items were good but honey chilly potato also slightly spicy especially for children. Fresh lime soda was on sweeter side and sugar syrup was overpowering the overall blend. Staff here is helpful and cordial.

I am sorry to write this low review: the staff is very kind and welcoming; the food was overall good. But they charge so much on the Indian food that it makes no sense! The price for the Indian dishes is very high (considering the standard medium price) and you just receive one standard normal bowl of food. Considering how much they charge, we were expecting at least bigger portions instead of the standard small bowl. I’m sorry: people are super nice, food is good, but with prices like this it’s just a very overcharged touristic rooftop.

Laal maas was good but too pricy and quantity way too less and the bajre ka roti was too pricy. Normal places it is just 30 bucks but here it is 100 bucks per piece. We did order the mutton biryani which is literally soaked in a half litre of oil. Very pathetic taste. Overall this restaurant's menu has overhyped prices but taste of the food is average.

We went to Gopal Rooftop Restaurant twice in a row in the evening to have dinner, and it was each time wonderful. Good location, amazing view, very nice and friendly staff and very clean and tasty food. The best food we have had in India so far (we also visited Agra and Jaipur). We also had a nice photo shooting from Dinesh, he does very nice pics and videos. If you want a safe bet, go there - we highly recommend this place !

we went to the restaurant and ate what they had suggested. Firstly the price was too high as compared to the quality of food. The food was not even fresh. We do not suggest it for dinning. You can easily get the same food in 1/3 price in any other restaurant. They charge simple water bottle 40 rs which is of 15 rs.

The cafe is made very asthetically. There is a main air conditioned area then there is a semi open place and then the rooftop. I was surprised to see they served beer on tap and also a full blpwn decently priced alcohol menu. I got both the tap beers. Honestly they werent worth 535 each after seeing how the manager had to fill it. It was so frothy something was up with the machine system. It was in April end and it was not the best time I understand. 10/10 for the place and vibe and stuff but not so much for the overpriced beer. I think I was way too excited to just have found hefe on tap on a random one day trip to Jodhpur. We didnt discover this cafe on our last visit to RAAS hotel for a meal. The area around is lovely and worth a visit just on a good time. The walk to the place is good. The step well view is exhilarating. We saw boys swimming in the heat jumping from different heights. Fun experience wish the beer was cheaper.

Situated inside the city. The view of the fort is amazing and keeps you mesmerised. Though it is there 7 to 9 as light goes off at 9 from the fort. So then you see it without the light. Come here by auto , as the lanes are quite narrow. Staff was good. Service was good too. Food was average. Rates are high for sure. We had drinks for 3 and food for 8 people. Paid 21000. Menu very limited. It’s all about the view and the drinks and somewhat food to accompany. Rating it 3 star overall.

I visited Step Well Café after seeing it on Instagram, and it really does have stunning views of Toorji ka Jhalra. 🌊✨ The café is tucked inside the narrow lanes, just about a 5-minute walk from Clock Tower, and the entrance itself is very aesthetic with a lovely blue street wall. It’s a small café with cozy seating, but what makes it special is the calm and serene view of the stepwell. There’s also a rooftop sitting area where you can relax and enjoy the vibe, and you can even head directly down to the stepwell from here. I tried their pasta and coffee, and both were delicious. 🍝☕ The combination of good food and a beautiful view made it a memorable stop during my Jodhpur trip. Overall: a charming little spot with aesthetic vibes, tasty food, and a unique view of Toorji ka Jhalra — definitely worth a visit!

We went to the step well as a family. There the ambience was good and the view from the rooftop was the only attraction. We were disappointed by the service staff who was a super rude dude. We were expecting warmth and smile he was behaving as if he was forced to work there. The cafe I guess just wants to entertain the foreigners and not Indians the prices are just exorbitant and the behaviour was very cold. We don’t take such attitude casually. My daughter asked for here favourite dishes if they could make them. The response was very harsh and cold. We had ordered in advance else we would have left for good. The taste was good to pathetic we ordered three dishes, pasta was good, fries just like any other nothing great and pizza was pathetic. I don’t know whether the owner of the cafe sees the reviews or not but this is to addressed. Keep good staff not Uncles and if you don’t want Indians tell us in advance. If you charge good serve well. No wonders the ratings are just okay, & one more thing they take SERVICE CHARGE which is not allowed as per law and they charge GST on it Which is even more disgusting. Would suggest people to try some other place.

Tourist trap. The place is beautiful and the view over the stepwell is great, but the prices are ridiculous. I was charged 350 rupees for a coffee, which is just absurd even for a tourist spot. They clearly take advantage of the location and the steady flow of foreigners. Such a shame — it could be a lovely café if they didn’t try to rip people off for something so simple. This open roof top cafe offers stunning views of the city and the fort! Dinning here was an experience in itself even though the food is not that great! The service however was top-notch! The restaurant only operates for dinner so please plan your visit accordingly!

Opens up in the evening at 7pm. After like a long day climbing up the fort and roaming in the galleries of the fort, which closes down by 5pm, had to wait two hours to order. It's something to sit surrounded by centuries of history under the open sky full of stars...all the wars n love stories flash by u n put u in certain meditative state...though there can be lot of usual additions which can vastly improve the experience, for example, some light Indian classical instrumental music...the terrace is absolutely bare except the required chairs and tables, some plants would definitely help liven up the otherwise heavy energy...the menu does not have regular things like soups...and no alcohol too...it should be definitely added, atleast the soups...food is passable, but service is impeccable... lastly, don't go without a shawl, it gets quite windy up there...

This would be the place where royalties would have been served!! I mean, one is forced to think about the way royalties lived merely by dining here. Amazing experience! Watta view!! Adding a bit of fairly moderate to good climate, this place leaves you with surreal experience of dining in the skyline. Away from chaotic civilization. Relaxed environment. The menu was very limited. We had veg options started with dahi anjeer kabab which had a very ordinary taste and presentation. Moved to paneer makhani and assorted breads. The taste was very average. Quantity was very much sufficient for a population of 3. Ideal spot for a candle lighted evening. It needs pre booking on call (which we did from the entry gate itself 😂) The restro is an escape to experience the night view of grand Mehrangarh fort and the city of jodhpur (tho the fort closes for tourists at around 5pm) Waiters treated us like royalties and were more than willing to click pictures for us. Vibes were quite peaceful and positive. We recommend visiting this underrated place for the amazing EXPERIENCE. 😊

Wonderful experience to dine on the terrace of Mehrangarh Fort. The night time views of the city from basically the highest point in the heart of Jodhpur, are incredible and mesmerizing. Entry there is only by reservation and they typically do not accept walk in due to their limited seating. It is advisable to preferably book a day in advance but they can accommodate same day bookings too if seating is available. They only have a dinner service which starts form 7pm onwards. The service is good and the wait staff are very friendly. The food is good, though not amazing but the ambience more then makes up for it. The Chakki Ro Saag was melt in your mouth and a must try. Overall definitely worth a visit if you're in the city and looking for a different experience.

Located close to umaid bhavan , the guide recommended us to try the laal maas here(speciality of rajasthan) however, laal maas was disappointing as it did not have salt. The vegetarian order was good. I would highly recommend gatte ki sabzi. There is ample seating and service is adequately fast , the price is also reasonable.

The view is amazing, we waited 30-40min for food that was not made there but delivered and reheated. Overall lack of flavour kinda bland like it was frozen food. The location and view are the best thing about it. So very expensive for the poor quality of the food.

The food was ordered and reheated it tasted like frozen food the soup tasted like cup-a-soup with too much water it took like 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive, the electicity went out shortly after we arrived the view was okay, but there are way better and cheaper rooftop- restaurants that also have better views we ordered french fries that didnt even arrive, they didnt have any lights even when the electricity turned on a few minutes before we left the food was really expensive for the amount you got The location is really hard to get to in a regular tuk-tuk or auto-riksha and overall one of the worst roof-top restaurants ive ever been to the staff barely spoke understandable english i wouldnt reccomend this to my worst enemy. It Is pretty close to Mehrangarh fort. After visiting the fort, I felt so hungry and look for an awesome food. I had tried dinner and breakfast there. The food are good and rooftop is spacious with very good view to the fort.

We were famished after roaming around the fort and literally just searched for the nearest good looking restaurant close by. We came with very low expectations and left happy the food was amazing and the service was incredibly friendly. Overall extremely happy and if you’re around fort you might as well get lunch/dinner here.

We tried Arora Chaat during our visit to Jodhpur and overall had a really good experience! The gol gappas were a bit disappointing, but the other chaats totally made up for it. We had the Palak Patta Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, and Tikki Chole Chaat, all three were delicious. The Dahi Bhalla especially stood out and is highly recommended. Their sweet and tangy chutney adds an amazing flavor to the chaats as it really ties everything together. There’s also a small seating area where you can pick up your food and sit inside. The shop is located very close to Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar), which makes it easy to find. Definitely worth trying once if you’re in Jodhpur and craving some tasty chaat!

Two legends of Jodhpur u can find at one location one is Shahi Samosa and other is Arora chat. Must try Palak Papdi Chati which is Palak Bhajiya with mathari and curd and other is Dahi wada. They have a sitting area as well

Oh my god dahi vada of this place is very tremendous 😋😋. Amazing taste of their Dahi. If you are going to Jodhpur then you have to eat sahi samosa and dahi vada. Both shops are closer to each other. It costs 65 per place in which they provide you two pcs of wada with their tasty dahi.

This place I have visited after seeing in YouTube by many food blogger. My personal experience is food and taste of the Arora Chat is no doubt very delicious but this same combination is available In Jodhpur in many location. Overall the taste of the Palak Matri Chat was really awesome and one should definitely have it. The rate is also reasonable 1plate it cost RS 40.

Third class thali and food don't order any food from this restaurant I will suggest hotel Priya next to this third class place. Beautiful food and great atmosphere. I had the specialty Lal Maas w roti bread, then enjoyed a nuts and raisin Naan with vanilla ice cream. The food is delicate and flavourful. I am an Italian living in Sydney (AUS) so I have a big exposure to international food, I can definitely say that quality here is uncompromised.

I ordered chicken vegetables noodles and the noodles and vegetables were tasty and good portion but the chicken is quite bland, dry and tough. From the pictures one can see that it’s over night leftover chicken (look at the dark colour) this is not fresh chicken for sure. In the end I left all the pieces of chicken and ate only noodles and vegetables. There are taxes as well. Location is ok, service is good and friendly but food is not worth it for the price.

The food is exceptional, if you’re also European, make sure to ask for spicy, assuming you like spicy (India is never like rural Thailand, so the spice is never overwhelming extreme in any case). The staff go out of their way to ensure everyone is catered for according to their own preference. The vista is dominated by the fort, providing the bedrock for great ambiance. Having eaten in the restaurant on a few occasions I can recommend both the veg and non veg Indian offering's.

Of all the 3 places we ate at Jodphur which were Indique, buffet at Fairfield at Marriott and KP, my travel companion unanimously agreed that they had the best food here. Came here late afternoon. Flipped through the menu and half expecting maybe they had nothing available. Lo and behold, food came out fast. The waiter that served us was courteous. This place is worth trying.

I visited The Recipe Restaurant by Shri Ram Excellence Group. The ambiance was pleasant, and the food was fairly good with nice presentation. Unfortunately, the service was not up to the mark. We had to ask for water and wipes multiple times, but the waiter ignored us and prioritized other tables. We ordered Dal Makhani, but it arrived only after we had almost finished eating. The place has potential, but the service definitely needs improvement. Overall, if you're going just for the food and ambiance, it might be worth a visit. But if good service is important to you, this place may fall short.

Hello Everyone 🤗 Visited this restaurant with my friends for a get-together, Parking is spacious and Valet parking is available by the Restaurant. The Restaurant is not accessible ♿ for specially abled person as it is situated on the first floor. The dining is suffocating, the space is congested, so if you are going with your definitely there is a privacy concern, as anyone surrounding you can hear your conversation. The cutlery 🍴 were okay, but the dining 🍽️ were not good , plates were having odd design as if someone has left spots. The Staff were uniformer properly, but somewhere the hygienity was missing. As the one who were serving the food, simultaneously without washing the hands they were cleaning the table as well. The Water Glasses glass 🍷 were not clean as per the mark. The food was prepared very fast but the quantity was not justifing the prices. Like in Paneer Tikka, the Paneer was less but Tomato, Capsicum and Onion were more. The Butter Nan was chewy and was not soft. Sizzlers were mainly having cabbage 🥬 suppressing the quantity and many more.

Everything is too much expensive which doesn't match with the quality, quantity ambience and over all family experience. It's like below normal any other restaurants in jodhpur but charging like extra premium or luxury restaurant. There are many many other good options in jodhpur which are premium as compared to pric, ambience n over all dining experience. On weekends its like eating on streets by paying in luxury or heritage restaurant... Will not recommend or will not go ever now......

Elegant interiors and Delicious food. Just a bit expensive other than that it's one of the best places for family dinners. Few of the main course dishes need improvement, everything else is good. We had SIZZLER, the presentation was beautiful and taste was also up to the mark. Also tried their KEBAB PLATTER which included assorted Tikkas and Kebabs with the side of green chutney. Food, even sizzlers were not warm, food was ordinary in taste. service was slow, boys and girls were polite but lacked clarity in service operations, it was shocking to see that unhygienic melamine plastic bowls were placed for Daal and Gravy vegetables along with ceramic plates as seen in the picture. The restaurant management needs to pay urgent attention to the above points if they wish to live up to their name - Excellency.

You love the tasty dishes. Every sweet having it's own feelings. Rasmadhuri one of them. Online payment accepted here. Morning time for hot and spicy namkin . Whole day hot namkin available here. Local Achar (pickle) is must try. One of the best thing the behavior of all person... harmonious behavior. As per your requirements all packing available and he explain you about the duration of packing. Mean in how many days you have to consume the food items.

Malai ghewar was good, but I got a tongue irritation after eating. The kachori and mirchi vade had a sour taste (like amchur) that we didn’t like much. We have had much tastier Kachoris by then in Udaipur and Nathdwara!

Palki cafe is right outside the Mehrangarh fort and the food is quite good but the rates are on the higher side. The place is clean and the ambience is pretty good. The mirchi vada is a must have and the buttermilk is awesome as well. It is a good place to relax and have freshly baked snacks after the tiring visit of the mehrangarh fort.

There is not many options. And the machine coffee costs 120 rs for some reason. Not that great avoid eating here.
