Came to The House of Rock for a vendor market and ended up staying for the vibes and the food! The pepperoni pizza is everything a pizza should be — perfect crunch, gooey cheese, tasty sauce, and just the right amount of pepperoni. A slice with a drink came out to under $8, which is a great deal. The events they host are also really fun and well put together. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Was in Corpus for the day and stopped in for lunch. So glad we did! Immediately welcomed with a smile AND EYE CONTACT as soon as we walked in...GREAT start. Food was great, atmosphere cool, customer service phenomenal! Wish we lived closer because we'd go back again and again. Highly recommend the Corpus Christi Bay cocktail 🍸

5 stars because the whole experience was great. I would only suggest the changing of menu descriptions, or notice of item substitutions. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, and it stated it would be 2 large homemade meatballs. Which it didn’t come with, even if they were frozen, it’s ok. But, I went in expecting 2 large homemade meatballs. Ready to give them a try when they’re back on!

Great place for a casual drink and food. The salad was very fresh, crisp, and delicious.

Visiting the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi was an unforgettable experience. The ship is massive and full of history, with well-preserved exhibits and interactive sections. One of the highlights was meeting Richard in the engine room he took the time to explain how the carrier operated and shared fascinating personal anecdotes. Talking with him truly brought the ship to life and made the visit even more special. If you're in the area, don’t miss this piece of naval history and the chance to meet passionate people like Richard.

Definitely a must to go see, but plan most of the day if you want to see it all, it's a big ship. They have bathrooms, cafeteria, a movie theater and a gift shop of course. Best if you don't go during the heat of the summer, not many cool spots. But if you don't mind sweating go ahead, they do have a little cooler spots here and there. Fun for the whole family and a big part of history.

My kids enjoyed the tour ages 16 and 11. The tour took about 2 hrs. It’s self guided. In a world where kids are glued to their phones and social media it captured their attention. I do not recommend this tour for toddlers, heels, dressy clothing or people with walking restrictions. Their is a lot of climbing (ladder style stairs). Dont forget to take your free picture, it cost $35 for the print out but the digital versions using the QR code are free. Parking was $5 directly across the street. It’s so much to do in the area so bring beach stuff, strollers etc to enjoy the day in the surrounding area.

This place was super cool. I went in with no expectations and half way mediocre experience. However, this place was a delight to visit. Whether you like big ships, or are a history buff this place is for you. Not only is it a museum with TONS to look at, you also get to explore an aircraft carrier (top deck, below deck through tiny corridors, etc). The only things I would warn about is some of the areas do not have air conditioning and the air is stagnant. So be prepared for some HOT areas during the summer. Some of the stairwells are very narrow and steep (but it added to the experience for me, but some individuals with mobility issues may struggle). All in all, great experience and blew me away. The escape rooms are great too!!! Check them out (they include admission to the ship) and let you do escape rooms IN the ship!

Went here a few weeks ago. Kid friendly. This place was absolutely amazing. They have 5 different tours to choose from and they explain everything about the ship, to the crew, the historical aspects, military honor, they even have a section on here about Pearl Harbor. Be prepared to learn about the history. If you want to get your steps in for the day, this is the place. Spent 5 hours here and walked over 10K steps. Highly recommend this for a day trip.

Great experience! There is a lot to learn not only about this ship, but a few others as well as about the crews that lived aboard. Note that while walking through the below decks, there are a few rooms that are very cold, which I would think would be a good break in between on the hotter days. It does take a good amount of time to walk and to listen/read everything.

This historic ship is worth visiting, offering a wealth of experiences from World War II in 1943. It contains so much information that no school, college, or even university will tell you in detail for your knowledge if you are as passionate about history as I am. A unique experience to live through, as it shows you what life was like at that time and what the crew was like in combat during those war years. Take your family so your children can see what history is all about.

This was such an amazing visit! It is a bit on the pricy side (+$7 parking) but it’s worth it since the money goes to help the rescue and animals! I went during a weekday so it wasn’t packed at all. I was only planning on staying for an hour or two and ended up staying until close. I was able to catch the dolphin show at 3pm, which was magnificent!! The water is beautiful from there. They have swings where you can relax and watch the water or the USS Lexington, which is right next door! The aquarium itself has so many cool fish and staff who truly love their job! They are attentive and informative! I loved my visit here and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting!

Beautiful way to spend a very hot day. I'm a total aquarium nerd, and this was a treat! Lots of good info on the various species. Animals are healthy and happy. The dolphin show was so cute, you can tell they are having a blast!

Absolutely loved the dolphins show! Also, the otters are so fun to watch. Very interesting and informative. My grandchildren enjoyed everything. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the price. I understand the animals have needs and I love that they rehabilitate a lot of them. But, it was $300 for 3 adults and 2 children. We stayed 2 hours but we missed an entire side, so I recommend getting there no later than 2.

My experience at the Texas State Aquarium with my family was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly staff, breathtaking exhibits, and an atmosphere full of excitement and wonder. The interactive displays kept our kids engaged the entire time, and the variety of marine life — from dolphins and sea turtles to sharks and stingrays — was incredible to see up close. The entire facility was clean, well-organized, and perfect for a full day of fun and learning. It was a memorable family outing that we’ll be talking about for a long time. Highly recommend it for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to experience the beauty of the ocean without leaving Texas!

The aquarium has beautiful tanks filled with happy critters. The birds are beautiful and the layout of well thought out. The staff genuinely seem to love what they do. Like most large aquariums it’s not an inexpensive day, but certainly worth the time and effort to see.

Really cool experience. The largest aquarium in Texas I ever visited. The admission fee was very expensive in my opinion but parking is free. I was impressed by the restaurant/cafe on site near the turtles exhibit. There’s also a very cool water park available to guest.

The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Ticket prices are quite steep, especially for a relatively small aquarium when compared to similar facilities across the U.S. and internationally. For larger families, the cost adds up quickly. A few areas also felt a bit dated, and while the food options were okay, more variety would be a welcome improvement. Still, this is a gem in Corpus Christi and absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the area. With a few updates and more accessible pricing, this could easily be a five-star destination. We’ll definitely be back!

Our visit to Doc’s Seafood and Steaks was a decent overall experience, but it had a mix of positives and drawbacks. We waited about an hour and 15 minutes to be seated, which was expected for the busy evening, but worth noting if you’re visiting during peak times. The menu is heavily seafood-focused, with many dishes prepared blackened or jerk-style, so there’s a fair amount of spice. If you’re not into seafood or bold flavors, your options are somewhat limited. The setting is one of the highlights — you can sit near the edge and enjoy a nice view of the water, which adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the chairs were hard and lacked any lumbar support, making them uncomfortable for a long meal. Our server was friendly and attentive, which helped balance out some of the food concerns. The burgers we tried were very charred and didn’t have much seasoning; the sauces provided most of the flavor, so without them, they would have been pretty bland. The lower-level area offers games like cornhole and the ring-and-hook game, along with some live music, which creates a casual, fun vibe. However, it also had an unpleasant smell of spilled beer and even urine, which was off-putting and made us question the cleanliness in that area. In short, seafood lovers who enjoy a lively, waterfront atmosphere will probably appreciate this place more than we did. For non-seafood eaters, the limited menu and mixed food quality may not make it worth the wait.

This was my first trip to Texas and Corpus Christi, and I decided to take a solo trip. This place came highly recommended, and I can see why. Gabby was such a sweet waitress and very accommodating, even while handling a busy crowd. She truly deserves recognition and a raise. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and made the whole experience worth it. The only negative observation I had was with the owner/manager (tall, slim white man). He was walking around asking tables how they liked their food and if they needed anything, but he walked right past me and only spoke to the tables in front of and behind me. It may have been unintentional, but it did feel strange and made me feel a little out of place for a moment. Overall, my visit was great, and I would probably return.

First we were placed at the perfect table with the best view of the water while still being shaded. Enjoyed the variety of the drink menu. Ordered the Cucumber Watermelon Lemonade and the Jalapeño Dosarita, Starters were great - Raw Oysters & Watermelon Tuna. However when it came to the entrees, the Docs Yardbird sounded great in theory but was a bit too heavy handed on the blackening seasoning (still enjoyable) and would try it again, but it was not as awesome as the Lemon Caper Tuna (fantastic in flavor and cook - rare to med rare) and the green beans were cooked well with a lemon pepper seasoning. We will be back for sure! 😍

Everything about Doc's is great! The views, the food, the service...there's nothing you won't like about this place. You can sit and watch boats travel the Intracoastal waterway while you sip on a great drink from the bar and enjoy some amazing food! Prepare yourself though, this place can get really busy in the evenings, but if you stop in for lunch, you'll have a better chance at getting a table quickly. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Corpus Christi.

Totally surprised how good the food was… I was expecting it to be very meh and it was very good. Horseradish sauce was on point. To add a little more information for future patrons, we ended up ordering 2.5 lbs of peeled shrimp, because they were exceptional. Everything else was equally amazing, as my photos show.

Long wait but expected if you show up to doc's in late afternoon with 4 or more. Service was friendly and helpful atmosphere was very bright and open and had a great view. Food was good a little over cooked but to to the point where I was disappointed overall a good experience.

Had the Parmesan Crusted Red Fish. It was one of the Tuesday night specials. It was really good. The creamy shrimp sauce on top was called Laguna Sauce and it was delicious!! Beers were a little warm but otherwise a great place for dinner that's right on the water.

This is a great spot and the service is great. We had some delicious drinks and the blackened chicken sandwich was delicious. The menu is mostly seafood but they have burgers and salads also. The vibe is amazing and the reason we eat here. You are right on the water. 🤩

The atmosphere here was spot on. Part of the marina. I really enjoyed the fried shrimp and my server was amazing. The only downside was my taquitos. They had great flavor but were cold in the middle. Like refrigerator cold. The server offered to replace them but I had eaten about half of them despite the temperature issue because the flavor was amazing so I didn’t feel right about getting a new order. Just enough to keep from a 5 star rating, but everything else was great!

This was a pretty cool place. We actually ate on the water and you could feel it move the whole time. I had the server suprise me with a fish and it was really good, the unicorn fish. Slightly over cooked, but the sauce was awesome. Everyone was pretty happy with their food. Looking forward to going back and getting surprised again on a new meal!

Good food & cool atmosphere. The fans and breezes made the patio tolerable even in the midday sun and I'm a "big guy".coconut shrimp were crispy but the shrimp were still cooked perfect. She had the fish and chips. The only thing that would have made this place better would be live music.

We arrived at Harrison's Landing and were immediately seated on the patio. They do allow dogs, and the patio is covered, which made it a comfortable spot. We ordered drinks while we waited for dinner later that evening. They had a few drink specials, and we went with the Prickly Pear Margarita. It was solid. They also brought out ice water for our dogs, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the bathroom situation. The restrooms are located inside the gift shop, and there are only two available. Since it was a Saturday and just after 1 p.m., the shop was pretty busy and there was a bit of a wait to use the bathroom. Not ideal, but nothing major. We had a great seat by the water with a nice view. The overall atmosphere was relaxed, and the drinks were good. We appreciated being able to have our dogs with us. We didn’t eat this time, but we plan to come back and try the food on another visit.

We're visiting Corpus Christi and found out about this lil gem. The service and food is great and it's fun to sit outside on the water. The only thing I did not care for were the birds that were flying around trying to grab food, they weren't dive-bombing anyone though. The platters are plentiful, my sister and I shared the fish and chips. It tasted great. The oil used to fry the fish was clean and the flounder tasted fresh. We each got the El Jimador Margarita since it was the drink dé jour. Our server was Sabrina B. She was friendly, attentive and efficient. Thank you Sabrina. There's a gift shop next door and patrons get 20% off, just show your receipt. We will return to this establishment.

Great boat tour with our Captain Cook and crew member Faith. They were very informative and funny, and they made my 3 year old Junior Captain and taught him to drive the boat. Definitely recommend.

Went here on a friend's recommendation, and I enjoyed my meal. Very casual, laid-back atmosphere. Order as you enter and seat yourself. I had the fish & chips and a tossed salad. The fish was really light, crispy, and flavorful! I was disappointed with the shoestring fries as the "chips." Not bad. I just have never been a fan. Expected thicker cut fries. 🤷‍♂️ The tossed salad was great, nicely sized, with the manager recommended walnut dressing. I saw most people ordering burgers... maybe next time!

Never have I had a taco from a place that served tortillas raw. Cooked (or at least steamed) tortillas should never crack but having ordered the Baja shrimp and fish tacos, all tortillas were dry and brittle. At least the shrimp and sauce was flavorful. Also ordered a side of hand battered fries. Worst fries I’ve ever had. Despite looking crunchy, they were soggy and flavorless. Please be advised that salt is optional here. Go with the shoestring fries. Definitely feels like a tourist trap.

This was our second time eating here and we enjoyed the food and service both times. The big turnoff for me is the dirty look of everything. The bussers did a great job cleaning tables, it is just the generally old, worn down, dirty appearance of everything. The patio even had puddles of water under some tables so it was hard to find a place that looked clean and comfortable to sit.

Beautiful setting! But that luster went away when I walked in. I was looked at like I was supposed to know what to do when asked if we sit down ourselves or what. She looked up from her phone and directed us to the bar to order. So you have no clue walking in what to do. The bar tender acted completely annoyed and rolled his eyes when I said I didn’t want alcohol just was told to order food. Then our food just came out, literally thrown on the table there’s fries everywhere lol. The server ran off back to the kitchen. I’m not coming back. Food was good but I’ll go elsewhere for fish and chips. Very disappointed.

We went there on Sunday evening so no live music but it’s not a big deal. We still enjoyed our food and the place there. Food was quick to get but I just really didn’t like their fries

Gold Fish is easily my favorite bar in Corpus. Best Old Fashioned in town, no question—and the rest of the cocktails are just as solid. The bartenders know what they’re doing and always take care of you. Real laid-back vibe, good music, and just an all-around great spot to unwind. If you go, ask about the cucumber-infused waters—sounds fancy, but it’s actually super refreshing. Can’t beat this place.

In downtown corpus you will not find a better place to drink. There are two bar areas and a cute outdoor patio. The inside is a former dry cleaner and quite small but air conditioned. I love drinking here. No food is available, but with it being so close to several restaurants it’s the perfect beginning to a date night or girls night.

Great spot in Corpus. There doesn’t appear to be many good cocktail bars in Corpus, but I reckon this is the best. Great drinks, nice atmosphere, at reasonable price. Would absolutely return.

Always a good time at the GoldFish. Every weekend they have the top food trucks, and some of the best craft cocktails in town.

Great atmosphere and good energy. There are no waitresses so you have to go to the bar. There is a $5 cover and on some days you ask yourself why. Great selection of alcohol. They have a patio in the back so go and check it out. They have live bands all the time.

We visited this place on “work night” , and it was fairly nice vibe, I’m pretty sure this is a banger in the weekend, but we did wanna celebrate our training being done and it was really great, the local bartender was very nice and helpful, they were able to make a nice mocktail and helped my colleague with quite a variety of drinks, they also have pools tables if I could say the sticks needs a bit of a upgrade but hey it’s a bar! Still had fun and they played oldies and songs up to date, so I loved it.

Were looking for a fun bar to hang out, happened to come across this, they have a little something for everyone.

Went for the first time and they had a wonderful band playing. There is a dance floor as well as a whole room for seating. They have food if you want to eat, I will definitely be back to try the food as well. They have another room as well that is quieter and plays music while the TVs show the music video. The drinks are appropriately priced.

Beer was ice cold. Music was great, band was playing 80s tunes. Ordered snacks to go with the beers and the fries were a huge hit.

We often drive from San Antonio for Taco Tuesday! They are the BEST fish tacos ever! Plus all the other food is divine too! Thank you again for an excellent Tuesday dinner!

They have the best fish tacos! We love going almost every Tuesday for taco time and the relaxing atmosphere with friends. The bar staff and cook always provide excellent service. Have them blackened or fried or have both because they are the best fish tacos in town on any night!

Got recommended this place by many on reddit.Place was full with a biker gang.We sat at a table that had a bell on the wall, I touched the rope of the bell and it rang one time.Which prompted the bartender to yell out something like "Be careful w that bell, you don't know what that means,You don't want to ring that with these guys in here" ??? Not sure if the bell was some sort of biker gang joining bell but vibes were for sure off.

Live music by The Chainlinks was on point!!! There was room to sit if you wanted to. All different ages were partying there - island life. Great atmosphere & new stage.

My favorite spot on the island! Always a great crowd, live music and good friends. AMAZING burgers! Plus they were super nice to my dogs.

Thieves!!! Not sure how this place is still open with all these bad reviews. DO NOT open a tab here. They WILL add drinks to your tab. It was just me and my date and we were there for the last hour. Bartender added 9 shots to my tab!!! When questioned about it they said we had other people with us. When told it was only us two they kicked us out. I guess Flanagan's is Irish for THIEVES!!!!

DO NOT GO!!!! Bar tender was an older guy, who was staring in an off putting way. Then I see he over charged me! I had one drink and remember putting a single digit number as the TOTAL! and it’s not what I was charged. Then, their phone number they have listed is disconnected. BS

Me and my girlfriend got kicked out because I was wearing a James Avery necklace with a cross on it. Three bouncers walked up to us to kick us out and intimidating my girlfriend. As they were kicking us out they had already over-served my girlfriend which I had to carry her out, I asked the bouncers several times to give me a moment so that I could allow my girlfriend to drink some water, bouncer states “no you can go and order water somewhere else with a derogatory name being called after. So moral of the story this place is trash the bouncers are horrible, and you’re allowed to go in there half naked but do not let your necklace hang out of your shirt!!

Tucked away in downtown Corpus Christi is a wonderful little sports bar known as Flanagans serving up local brews like this refreshing Lorelei beer as well as your normal beers, and a stocked liquor selection with some special rare options to choose from! The bartender was very friendly and wore a mask for those that are concerned but as a patron it was not mandatory so the option is up to you!!! Come check it out if you are in the area and you won’t be disappointed!!!

Great club but bartender had us watched because she thought we wasn't going to pay.. I told her I only had cash ..she took my DL instead of a CC told her had to go get more money from the car but she kept saying she needed a card after being told all we have is cash..very uncomfortable.. we paid her but she messed her self out of her tip ijs

Showed up on a Monday night and the club was no where to be found, even cheated using my phone and gps. after asking around found out about the limited days of business. Wish that information would be listed with the club information on google.

We had a very fun visit at this location! The food was good, but the breaded chicken tenders my kids got were undercooked and overly breaded. Everything else was amazing, though. You order your food prior to finding a seat. We enjoyed the outside seating. The bar area had some live karaoke going on, and an ice cream shop right next door. It's such a fun atmosphere.

Our favorite part was being directly on the water and having a front row seat to the dolphins. The sunset was beautiful. The food was pretty good, but I think I ordered too much fried food. So that was more my fault than the restaurants fault. My daughter did swipe one of the turtle soaps and started to eat it. So I did pay for that. Overall; I think we would definitely come back, I would just order a salad next time with seafood on it.

I visited Snoopy's Restaurant with my friend a couple months ago and we were disappointed in the food. The fish tasted like it was frozen fish cooked and breaded in bland fish fry. 🐟 The fries tasted liked bagged fries and were tasteless. 🍟 If you want to get condiments and the drinks it is self-served. The food did not taste real or authentic, everything tasted like frozen, bagged food that they fried. I could have made the food at home for how it tasted! I will say the scenary was beautiful and there was good, karaoke live music. 🎤 🎶 🎵 If you want good, flavorful seafood please skip this restaurant.

The food was okay. Nothing too special or to write home about. The best part was probably the view and atmosphere. They had karaoke the night we went. I the sunset was beautiful and the salt water smell was perfect 👌🏽

Incredibly disappointed in our take out order today. We ordered over the phone and they forgot to add our fried catfish meal. The kids grilled cheese sandwiches were $10 - and didn’t look correctly cooked. We tried to call back to correct our order and the phone just rings. Our shrimp platters and hush puppies were good - consistent with a food shack menu, so the price just didn’t match the quality unfortunately. We spent over $100 on very cheaply made food. Customer service could be better and more professional. Will not order from here again.

We showed up at Pearl Oyster and immediately we were blown away, Happy Hour all day $2 drafts $1,50 oysters. jalpenos were on point actually the best we ever has. Eric our bartender was awesome. If we ever return this will be our To Go spot

We arrived at 6 p.m. and brought our dogs. There’s a dog-friendly patio with plenty of shade and seating near Scoopy’s, the dessert spot next door. A DJ was there running karaoke, which added to the vibe. You order your food at the register and then find a seat. They call your name over the intercom when your food is ready, but it was a little hard to hear from where we were sitting because of the music. The menu encourages you to add sides, which range from three to four dollars. It’s a little misleading if you’re not paying attention, but the portions are large. You can also order individual items a la carte, like fish or shrimp. We got a dozen shrimp. They were huge and perfectly fried. We also ordered the Snoopy’s combo, which came with fries, four fried oysters, four shrimp, and fried fish. The fish wasn’t cut like a filet, more like two big fish nuggets. Still, everything came out hot, fresh, and in large portions. We hadn’t been here since we were kids. We came back for the nostalgia but ended up getting a solid meal and some fun karaoke entertainment. The dog-friendly patio was a nice bonus.

A great place for breakfast. We come here every time we visit from San Antonio. The eggs and bacon are delicious. The 3 dollars pancakes are cute and very tasty. And I have to mention their biscuits and gravy, very good. Also, the staff is very friendly and prompt. The overall atmosphere here is amazing. We even loved how so many regulars were eating here and the employees were on first name basis with them. They already knew their orders too! That’s just great customer service. We will keep coming back and definitely recommend this place!

They just “get it”! Reminds me of a diner circa 1980. Honest helpful staff, great food! Breakfast menu was a solid choice of traditional american options and Mexican options. Food was fantastic! Portions were rational, and flavorful. My coffee cup stayed full the whole meal, every staff ensured we were cares for. Skip the fast food and try this local joint!

Everything we ordered came out delicious!!!!! The customer service at this restaurant is very good and all employees were very friendly and mindful of what we needed weather it was a coffee refill our anything else, great atmosphere as well.

We rolled in around noon, expecting a wait, but were whisked right to a table. Score one for immediate gratification! Stepping inside, you immediately realize this isn't your average chain restaurant. The decor is a delightful mix of aged wood, an abundance of greenery, and – wait for it – a model train that chugs along above your head! It's not fancy or trendy, but it's got a unique, quirky charm that just feels fun. Yes, it's a bit cozy (some might say "snug," especially when it's bustling), but they're clearly maximizing space to get all that deliciousness out to the hungry masses. Our server was efficient and friendly, guiding us through a menu loaded with comforting foods, including breakfast. And comforting it was! This is good, hearty, honest-to-goodness downhome cooking. The portions are generous and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The prices? Very fair for the quality and quantity – a rare and beautiful thing these days. What truly sealed the deal for me was the distinct lack of obvious tourists. This felt like a genuine local hangout, which, as a discerning traveler, I wholeheartedly appreciate. If I lived in Corpus Christi, I'd be a regular fixture at Andy's. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling full, and happy. We've, now, been in Corpus Christi for a little over 2 months. Each new place we eat at, I keep saying is my new favorite. But I tell you, this place exceeds all!!! The food was divinely delicious and the drinks were devilously devine! Wes, our waiter, was great and made sure I didn't mess up my order with the bison. Our hostess was really sweet as well. The bartenders knew what they were doing and didn't make me feel rushed trying to order from there novel of a menu! And the quail legs!!! The quail legs will forever live rent free in my head!

1 star for the entire experience! We were here to celebrate my girl's birthday, I never, personally would have chosen this place. I made an 8:30pm reservation & still had to wait. Once we were finally seated at our table the entire experience went downhill. The only thing that was done correctly was the request to be seated at a table with an ocean view. We ordered our dinner and salads to start, well it took over 15 minutes just to bring out the salads, this was a precursor of what was to come, or not. We finished our salads and bread and waited another 15 minutes and still no entrees. Well it's sad to say that after an hour and 15 minutes later, still no entrees. It was now 9:45pm and by now,3 loafs of bread later and only eating the dinner salads, we were ready to leave. It was only then that the server said, let me go check on the entrees, after I told her that we were ready to leave and to just bring out my bill. She became contentious and said, you'll have to take that up with my manager because we were about to bring out the entrees, almost an hour and a half later. She wanted to argue with me about leaving due to the poor service and the long wait for the entrees. The brought out my bill which was for the salads and drinks, 32.00 and I was told that this was all I was going to pay because we were never served our entrees. Well when the manager brought out my credit card, I noticed that she ran it for about 112.00 for entrees which were never served and entrees that we never ate. I showed the manager the initial bill of 32.00 and asked why she processed my card for 112.00 she admitted to making a mistake, I didn't sign the receipt for 112.00, she did correct the mistake and I did pay for what we ate Here's the icing on the cake, there was another table of 6 people sitting next to us, also celebrating a birthday. They were being asked to leave because they were complaining about their service as well. All I can say is that they ruined our birthday celebration and that I personally won't ever go back to this restaurant. I personally wouldn't recommend it it to anyone that I know. Our filets were a tad overdone, but the flavor was still good. All the shareable sides were great, especially the mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts. The view is neat if you get seated at a table with a view.

This restaurant is immaculate! I love the great customer service from the valet gentleman to the host, the waiter, and the many staff that made sure we had a great experience! The food was delicious and the view is breathtaking! I enjoyed sharing this experience with great friends during our girls’ trip! I will definitely be returning.

The food was pretty good, but very expensive. My boyfriend and I got ribeye steaks, Caesar salads, mashed potatoes, and a crème brûlée. The steak was juicy, but a little more cooked than I asked for. All the other food was great and they start you off with bread and butter. We had great views of the ocean and sunset. My waiter was very friendly and helped guide us through the menu.

Just visited the resort and wanted to try the food here. Our waitress Brittany was fantastic, she answered all our questions and was such a pleasure to talk to! We had the Bison Ribeye, Beef Tenderloin and the Au Gratain potatoes and everything was amazing with a fair price!

I enjoyed a delicious filet with seasoned vegetables. It became my favorite steak place in corpus! Four adults and two kids all agreed that the food was delicious. The cosmos had a sweet candy orange garnish that tasted delicious as well. The children chose pepperoni pizza and fries for their food. They agreed the pizza was "very yummy." We were celebrating and had the chocolate mousse for a special dessert. It had a rich flavor that is the perfect ending to a fabulous dinner. The service was outstanding! The hostess was very polite and continuously complimented my daughter as we passed. The waitress was on top of her game and very understanding to the needs of the children. It was worth every penny for the service & the food. I would highly recommend for everyone to enjoy a beautiful view with amazing customer service & food.

This is a “MUST VISIT” cafe in Corpus Christi TX. The food is EXCELLENT and the service and atmosphere match the food. My wife had a poached egg (looked like a rose) on top of a breakfast crab cake. She said it was to die for. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, and the BEST Hester’s version of French Toast and they were INCREDIBLE! The Cafe leads into Bleu Frog, a General Store with something for everyone. We are going back later with the family (12 in all). We are going to check it out thoroughly. We will definitely come back every time we visit Corpus, highly recommend that you visit the cafe and general store as well. We love it when we find great cafes and stores like these. This is a very serene place to hangout and eat breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have a variety of coffees, desserts, and menu items. We were very impressed with the variety of items on the menu. The time between ordering and receiving our food was in a timely manner. The service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere was clean and inviting.

Great place for breakfast. We were first-time visitors, but as soon as we walked in, a staff member approached us to explain the ordering process. That was very helpful. We had the Cheesy BEAT and the My Fair Lady. They were both delicious. Great atmosphere as well. There were plenty of families with young children. The restrooms were clean. The only thing that I disliked is that we were given a Smuckers single serve packet as a jam. I would think that a place that prepares such delicious food would make their own jam. Or at the very least something better than Smucker's. It seems like a place that gets very full, but we were there around 8 am. Highly recommend this place.

Everything tasted super fresh and delicious – exactly what we were hoping for to start the day😍 Huge shoutout to the staff 👏5 stars for customer service! My husband felt the pancakes were a bit overcooked, and when we brought it up, the manager was so kind and polite. He explained the prep and immediately offered to replace them without hesitation. The staff is always friendly and on top of things, and the place has a cozy, local vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you should. My wife and I loved it—felt like we were eating at a friend’s house, if that friend happened to be a world-class cook with a coffee addiction. Bottom line: come hungry, leave happy, and don’t forget to grab something from the bakery case for “later” (spoiler: you’ll eat it in the car).

4•13•25 thid was our very 1st time eating here it was good butmy burger the egg was cold and my fries were cold. The burger is good yet I my opinion is it is thick bread I wasn't that of a fan but i only ate one bun. Yet the egg they placed in it was cold so was dissapointed on that issue. The other was a plain cheese burger and husband said it was good. Will I come back sure I'll give it another try, will I recomend yes but if any issue bring it up to their attention so they can fix it. It is very small so glad they have tables outside to.

Burgers and beer (and some appetizers). We had to wait in line (outside) at 2pm on a Sunday - no doubt we were not the only ones leaving the beach looking for a hearty meal. The wait to order was understandable, the wait for food seemed excessive - fast food this is not. We did not wait for a table, we sat outside on the covered patio. The burgers are good, but over cooked (unless you like well done). The burgers are good size, but lack veggies - not a single choice has lettuce or tomato. The fries were hot and delicious. I like the crunch the fries have. Best thing: draft beer. Note to restaurant: the “please keep the door closed sign” is not visible while people are holding the door open; maybe it should be on the wall.

We had a fun time at this establishment. We sat outside on the deck for dinner while the kids played the Jenga next to us. They had a great time with it. The food was good. They had many options to choose from, but it is an order at the bar and pick up your food when its ready. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Outside seating just was a little dirty due to the age of the seating possibility.

Great burgers even though they're really too big. Cut the prices and the size of the burger and we'd be thrilled. If you want to save a few bucks, the burgers are large enough to split, but beware they are messy. The messy part is tasty so that's not a negative; we really enjoyed ours! I had the Mr. Beckham and my wife had The Lulu. (Tip for a less-spicy Lulu: order Jalapeno slices on the side and pull some seeds before putting the slices on the burger.) Burgers were prepared well and toppings were plentiful. Fries were tasty, too, and it's nice they come with your order. The staff was friendly. Note this is an order-at-the-counter place, so there's no sit-down service. That's not a negative, but something we weren't aware of so I wanted to mention it. Also, it's set up like a small bar inside, so there's not much seating. That means you'll want to beat any dinner rush unless you want to sit at an outside table. (Not a bad spot to eat but a bit weather-dependent in terms of temperature.) All-in-all, a great spot we stumbled upon and will visit again when we're in the area.

A great solid burger. When I check out a burger spot the main thing I'm interested in is the patty. If a burger isn't good without all the condiments or veggies then it isn't a good burger. Let me tell you each individual element of this burger was fantastic. The patty was well cooked with good seasoning and a nice char and was full of flavor. The bun was nice and toasty but had a little give and was sweet and the sauce was delicious. First time here and will definitely make it a point to come back if I'm in the area again!

Incredibly happy we stopped here. We wish we would have found this gem sooner. They have the best 👌🏽 fried pickles we have ever had. We ordered the small and it was plenty for me and my fiance. He got the World Famous LuLu burger and added a fried egg on top. The LuLu includes a cream cheese and jalapeño jelly mixture on the burger. The bun is a star as well, its sweet and fluffy. It was delicious. You can also build your own burger.

This is one of the best burgers I’ve had out here. Build your own makes it that much better. Lots of drink options and a well stocked bar. Gotta love it! Gluten free buns available too.

We enjoyed our visit. The orchids and butterfly house are beautiful. There is a small reptiles/animal area, the staff is very friendly and you can hold one of the snakes if you want. There is a small loop trail that we enjoyed and a longer trail which we did not have time for. The location is not huge, but it is definitely worth the visit. Our only disappointment was there is a miltary discount ticket price listed but when we asked for it as a retired Army family we were informed it is only for active duty military. However, even at full price $10 is worth it.

This is an expansive botanical and wildlife center with mainly reptiles. There are walking paths to the wetlands on boardwalks with an elevated birding platform and a butterfly pavilion. The paths have a considerable amount of shade to make walking pleasant even in the heat of summer. Plenty of parking in front of the center. It’s also a part of the American Horticultural Society reciprocal admissions program if you are visiting.

Very cool place. One of the most beautiful in all of Corpus Christi. would highly recommend. they have some funny parrots and some large tortoise as well.

This was my first time going here. I was pleasantly surprised. For the harsh south Texas weather this place has all kinds of beautiful flowers with plentiful walking trails where you can experience the natural terrain and the indigenous wildlife that are abundant in this area. Very well kept and maintained. Lots of shaded places where you can sit a while and take a break from the hot Texas sun. Plus I got plenty of ideas how I can create my own little oasis at my own personal property. It's a must see.

Love them. They have literally miles of hiking trails (though I do recommend shoes better than flip flops like we wore, lol) and it's not just pretty flowers, which they have in abundance and I could spend time just on that, but they are also a true nature preserve for both flora and fauna. Truly something to experience for yourself

Beautiful garden, wonderful animal exhibits and a great early morning summer activity. While it was 90+ degrees we had lots of shady spots to stop and rest. Very kind and caring staff, and low cost for families.

I loved seeing all the different gardens. The birds and reptiles were fun, too. The tortoises were large. My favorite was the orchid house.

If you’re a Selena fan, the Selena Museum in Corpus Christi is an absolute must! Even if you just love music history, it’s worth every penny and the entrance fee is only $5 per person for an experience you won’t forget. Walking into Q-Productions, where Selena recorded so many of her hits, gives you instant chills. I even got to stand in the exact spot where she once sang, and also where JLo stood and wow, I felt like a part of her story. The highlight of my visit? Meeting her nephew! That made everything feel so personal and real. Everywhere you look, there’s something amazing: her sparkling stage outfits (yes, the purple jumpsuit!), Grammy awards, red Porsche, gold and platinum records, Fabergé egg collection, MAC make-up endorsement and walls covered with fan art and rare photos. Seeing all her achievements and knowing she passed away so young really tugs at your heart. You can feel how the whole world mourned her via letters and messages from fans everywhere show just how deeply loved she was. The museum is small, but that’s what makes it feel intimate and authentic. Walking through feels like stepping into the Quintanilla family’s memories. You leave inspired, emotional, and humming “bidi bidi bom bom,” celebrating the life and legacy of the Queen of Tejano Music. 💜✨

My mom and I have been planning this trip to see the Selena Museum since I was 10 years old, and now in 2025 we finally made it! Selena Quintanilla Perez has always been a childhood icon of mine. She passed away when I was 4 years old, and at the time I did not understand what happened, but I saw millions of People in my hometown of San Francisco lighting a vigil for her, and carrying her photo. As I got older I understood more about her life and how much her music inspired me and my love for singing and performing. Coming to the Selena museum was an amazing journey and one that will always hold a special place in my heart. I also got to meet her father A.B Quintanilla in the office studio of the museum. The museum itself was remarkable and exhibited all of Selena’s life through photos, clothing, memorabilia and her famous 1980s Porsche car! This place is truly an amazing experience and one everyone who is a fan must visit. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of fans forever and will continue to do so. She may be gone, but never forgotten!

I was a Jehovah’s Witness when she passed, so I felt a connection to her and her family through our shared faith. Now, with a more spiritual perspective, I understand her impact in a deeper way. Selena left behind more than music or memories. She left behind a feeling—a kind of inner strength, joy, and purity—that we can still connect to within ourselves. The museum is simple and respectful, filled with love. I’m grateful I visited. It reminded me that even brief lives can leave something eternal.

Awesome experience! My wife introduced me to Selena, and her music & background. We watched the series about her together before making a trip to visit here. It was amazing to see the studio where she had actually stood and recorded for a short time. It was humbling to see the 100’s of awards throughout the showroom area, showcasing her extreme talent.

This was a super wonderful experience! I had to hold my emotions because Selena once stepped in here. Out of 9 songs she recorded at this location, “Dreaming of You” was the only one that came out. And meeting Abraham was epic!

Beautiful tribute to Selena. I didn’t know that was originally supposed to be her recording studio. Everything was beautifully done. Gift shop had great memorabilia at reasonable prices. The first part (the studio) is a brief guided tour with stories regarding what she recorded there. It is only about 10-15 mins long, then the rest of it is self-guided. Total time we were there was probably 45 mins to an hour. Suitable enough to bring your kids and it may even be wheelchair/scooter-friendly, if you request to go in “backwards” through the exit door where you would normally come out at the end of the tour. Otherwise, a big step up is required to gain access to main part of museum/where you pay. Only thing I would request is that you open on Saturdays! We put this as our last stop on our way back home to Dallas on Monday, which added some time to our drive, but it was worth it.

My 2nd time to visit since 2017. Loved it. I met selena mom, suzette husband and Ricky vela! They were super nice! I always wanted to take a picture and say hi to Selena mom. She was very sweet.

Even though it was a warm evening, the breeze made it pleasant to watch a ball game. Reasonable prices in a well constructed stadium. We went on a night with food promotions which were very budget friendly. Fun promotions. It was a great night.

My granddaughter and I met some friends at the beautiful Whataburger Field for Kingsville Day and had the Best time! We had great seats for a great price and we were very entertained with the ballgame and all the activities and food. We look forward to attending another game very soon!

Hey Batter batter..... SsWwingG!! Up from SPI 2hr drive, completely different Texas. This ball field is fantastic. Clean, well organized, plenty of food and drink options at a very reasonable price! Every single employee and volunteer was extremely polite and professional. The facilities are well-maintained and easy to navigate. The field is ADA-compliant as well. Will come back for sure. My only complaint is, I didn't hear one Bell from ACDC Hells Bells. Really??? Plotted. Scouts Out..

Great minor league ballpark! Seats are pretty inexpensive. Plenty of food options especially Whataburger inside the park! No combos just a la carte. I ordered a burger & fries & bought a souvenir cup for free refills. Entertainment between innings was fun. Sitting left field has sun behind you & right field facing sun.

If you have nit been to Whataburger field, you are missing out. As a child I didn't have the experience of going to a game. But you best believe I'm doing it for my kids. This place helps to make memories with your family and friends. Check it out.

The staff were really nice and the bartender was great at her job. The Hello Sunshine burger was mid at best. I had asked for grilled onions and when I received my burger, there were no onions. So I had to go back up to ask for some and wait longer. On top of that, my patty was charred. My friends really liked their chicken fried steak with gravy.

Water was good, torilla soup was perfect, Chicken fried stake was chewy in alot of places like rubber and plether fur belt chewy, infinite toast was great, the gravy was bland as if water and flower was the only flavor. The fried were ok, the ranch was good. Service was nice and kept up. TAP water was 1$ (:/)

The food was ok. It has been better. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. The show was good. The bar service was great and fast. The servers for food were lacking customer service. They were ignoring us and a lot of others when they would ask for stuff. The atmosphere was good for the show we saw. We would go again. Definitely recommend it for shows and bands. We haven't been there to just eat.

A little confusing when you first walk in, as it's not very obvious what exactly you do. But after standing there for a minute, we figured out you had to talk to the other side of the restaurant to order. Food was pretty good, good menu options with a variety for everyone. We did witness an employee get mad trying to put a crawfish sign up and struggle, so she decided to launch it through the double doors behind her and then help people with a angry look.

For as much money as we spent I expect better quality food. The grilled cat fish was almost sour covered by too much seasoning and the sides had no seasoning. The sides tasted stale like they had been pre prepped in ready to serve containers. The Mac and cheese was stale with hardly any cheese sauce. The only grilled option for shrimp they offered was a pricy side of shrimp which I actually enjoyed but they were little tough. The atmosphere was so noisy I couldn’t even hear my wife to make conversation. The flys were so obnoxious I crammed half my food because I just needed to eat and wanted to leave. You walk in and have to find your own menu, seat yourself, get your own drinks and order from the bar in the back next to the kitchen entrance which doesn’t make sense. The higher reviews are misleading. Maybe I’m missing something but we will not be going back.

Found this place after leaving a Hooks Saturday game & went on a Sunday about noon. Seating is abundant. There is inside & outside seating. You place your order at the counter and they bring to your table. Ordered the shrimp tacos blackened came with a side of charro beans and they were pretty good. Lots of tvs but had to request to put on the Astros game. Music plays somewhat loudly and the tvs don't put out sound so watched the game while listening to music. That's not what I wanted to experience so I ended up leaving earlier than anticipated.

A friend brought me here and it was good. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We didn't have to wait long to get our food.

This was the most disappointing Italian restaurant experience I've ever had, and the experience was characterized by a series of hiccups that should have made me walk out the door much, much sooner. So let's talk about it. I didn't like how the waitress offered me bread service while I was browsing for the menu for the first time (a service that is often complimentary) when it turned out to be a separate expense. I don't mind paying for bread service, but there was no transparency there. I don't like unexpected fees on my bill. She could have had the courtesy to tell me there would be a charge and I would have accepted it. The bread was ice cold. Made fresh or not, I don't understand why you would serve ice cold bread to your patrons. I asked her if it was intended to be served cold and received a non-answer. Have some respect for your patrons, heat up your bread if it's ice cold. The calamari appetizer, average. I could go to any cajun or seafood restaurant and order the same thing and the flavor profile would be vastly the same; you're not getting anything special when you order the calamari appetizer here, is all I'm saying. But it was okay. It just wasn't special. It wasn't something I would really recommend to others. The main course harbors my main complaints, chicken parmesan. Let me wedge a compliment in here real quick and say the sauce was delightful, they did a good job. I enjoyed the sauce. But the noodles were undercooked, very chewy, not al dente. And the chicken was overcooked, stringy, chewy. It was the most unpleasant main course I've had anywhere in a while. And it's especially disappointing because the place is lovely. Yes, the place is nice. The atmosphere is great. They take pride in their aesthetic and tables are dressed nicely. But when a place looks and feels that good, I want the food to taste that good. And when it doesn't, it's just an incredible disappointment and the contrast becomes unbearably noticeable. The Bellino restaurant exudes fanciful vibes of an elevated dining experience but the food only exudes mediocrity.

My experience , we went around 2:00 and able to get lunch hour prices. Thankful for that. First impression walking in was beautiful and looked like a fine dining restaurant. Our dishes were good but definitely not great. To start we ordered the calamari, calamari season and texture was good, but there was an old oil after taste. The main dishes flavors were there but meatball consistency was a little soft for my liking. Pasta was more than Alden te, and our meal did not come with a salad or bread. I did ask for bread after we started eating and I have to say, instant regret! Bread tasted old and stale. In my opinion if brushed lightly with butter and toasted, it would have made the world of difference, definitely would have paired better with any and all their food and made for a better experience. This place definitely has potential to be an awesome restaurant, just a couple of simple changes that wouldn’t cost a penny just a little more TLC! Waitress knew her job and was great at recommending menu items. Very friendly!

Really lovely restaurant BUT we were really disappointed in the service. Kimberly was kind but not attentive. Our wine and water were never refilled during our stay, she had another employee come take our dessert order and never gave us a wine bag to take home the rest of our bottle. The bread was dry and old - thankfully, we weren’t charged for it. Overall, the service felt “turn and burn” despite this being our special date night that we spent a lot and had hoped would be a grand experience for what we paid. Very disappointing.

Had tried several of their special reservation dinners with wine or cocktail pairings and they were all excellent.

I wanted so badly to like this place. The food was very bland. Not italian,not Italian American, unfortunately just was lacking in flavor and not well prepared. I had the walnut pasta which was a flavorless white sauce, no evidence of mascarpobe or aged cheese, with a few whole walnuts that were not even toasted. For an upcharge, a few slices of flavorless chicken were placed on top. I had a salad that was just spring mix thrown from a bag with two (2) tomato slices. My date had chicken parm which was an impossibly thick piece of chicken, not pounded as the dish is typically meant to be prepared. Also we waited a very unusually long time for the food. The cocktails were good and I would only consider coming back for a cocktail at the bar. Truly disappointing and I tend to think that this restaurant group just doesn't know what it's doing and does not prepare the food with any love or care.

Had a good experience here overall. The service was great and the staff super friendly. The atmosphere is okay, some of the tables are a bit small and/or too close together but it’s not a big deal. The food was good but could’ve been better. Still, I recommend and hope to visit again in the near future.

While we were visiting Corpus Christi, we came across the art museum, it was a building showcasing some local talent, and art pieces from abroad. We had a great time learning about the history of the city. The art pieces were unique and did represent the south Texas and it culture. So if your looking for something to do then this is your place to sight see for easily over an hour.

This gorgeous space was designed by architect Philip Johnson and is a lovely environment to experience art. The building really harmonizes with its location on the waters edge of Corpus Christi Bay. Although the museum seems to be dedicated primarily to contemporary art, there is a small but very high quality permanent collection of Spanish Colonial art.

Great deal! $10 for a good chunk of art, SUPER reasonably priced stuff in the gift shop. I was surprised and grateful that the souvenirs were affordable. The staff was really friendly. The place was wheelchair accessible, except the 3rd floor which had loose carpet that made it a little harder to wheel around and a narrow walkway around the conference tables. The wheelchairs they provide for patrons were also unusually narrow so I'd recommend bringing your own or calling ahead to see if they've remedied that if you are large and need to borrow a chair.

The Art Museum of South Texas, in Corpus Christi had their Third Thursday event and we decided to go. A smallish museum it is full of beautiful works of art. Was an enjoyable event.

The museum has a beautiful location on the bay. It's a very nice building with kind workers. The museum was smaller than I thought it would be...you can make it through in an hour or so, and the "photography is art" exhibit was a little underwhelming, in my opinion. However, like most arts, it's subjective and you may love it. That said, the permanent exhibits were beautiful...I especially liked the Spanish/Texan/Mexican art area and the sculptures. Upstairs they had work from local school children and some are very talented. It was fun to see what the local kids can do too!

We sat down to get sushi and ordered an appetizer. Waited an hour and had to ask at the front about the food and if we could order now. Appetizer did not come until twenty minutes after that. No one came to check on us or refill our drinks at all. Food was really good but the service was so bad and prepare for a long long stay for a small amount of sushi. Was so bad I’m writing this review. Oh and another twenty minutes for the check after we asked for it how fun. Chef was great no notes

Disappointing Experience at Rock ‘n’ Roll Sushi – Padre Island I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my recent visit to Rock ‘n’ Roll Sushi on Padre Island was such a letdown, I feel compelled to share. To start, the vegetarian sushi roll I ordered was by far the worst I’ve ever had. It arrived smothered in a mound of old seaweed salad, clearly an attempt to cover the visibly brown, oxidized avocado underneath. One bite confirmed my suspicion—it tasted metallic, almost like rust. Fresh ingredients are the bare minimum at a sushi bar, and this was unacceptable. While waiting a staggering 20 minutes for a single cocktail, I couldn’t help but notice the lack of professionalism behind the sushi bar. Staff stood around laughing while dishes piled up and guests waited. The atmosphere behind the counter felt chaotic and careless, not what you’d expect from a place that charges full price for subpar food and service. To be fair, our server was pleasant, though clearly overwhelmed and working without adequate support. The bar itself looked like the end of a long, messy night—glasses stacked, no bar staff in sight, and not a manager to be found. Nothing was taken off the bill, no apologies were offered, and no one seemed remotely concerned about the guest experience. In short: avoid this location. There are far better spots on the island where you’ll be served fresh food with at least a modicum of pride.

I went here Sept.24. The waitress saw us watching my employee on camera at my shop. We all joked about the fact that she was sitting down and on her phone yet she was ignoring my texts. So I said “watch this.” And I activated the alarm. My employees know that when I do that it means get up and look at my text. And she did. A few minutes later I get a phone call and little did the caller know that my cell phone is my shop number. She thought she was speaking to my employee and she told her (Me) that her bosses were at the sushi restaurant nearby and they were watching her on camera, which seems like an invasion of her privacy and that we were so annoying and she just wanted her to know that she was being watched on camera. I asked the bartender for a manager and she said she was the manager. I told her what just happened and she said “I will discuss this with her after her shift.” I said why don’t you discuss it now and then I paid my bill and left, even though we had not had our main course yet. On the way out, I told the waitress I hope she doesn’t find counting my money to be annoying. And then the bartender shouted across the restaurant “stop harassing my employee!” Everyone at the bar turned around and watched me walk out the door. Unbelievable. I then looked at the Facebook page and saw the long message from the previous owner. Now I see why that restaurant is the way it is.

Chef David Lee gave my Partner and I an exclusive off-menu dining experience to showcase his incredible restaurant. We made reservations, which I highly recommend to anyone as the establishment isn’t large and is very popular in Corpus Christi, especially for those living on Padre Island. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated and we ordered cocktails. Chef Lee joined us at the table and kindly spoke with us for a while, then recommended sending various dishes out. We agreed to that, and the culinary journey lasted for the next couple hours with our server presenting great dishes. The various creations are included in the pictures. Chef Lee isn’t always at this spot because he has other establishments he runs, so we were treated to a very exclusive opportunity to try his wonderful creations. I highly recommend Rock & Rolls. I rarely ever put reviews on restaurants but after this experience I felt like I needed to. We came for a birthday dinner, our server darian was off putting, short, and disengaged. We never received refills and when we received something we didn’t order we were met with an attitude telling us thats what I heard. Our server was more preoccupied with their bigger table rather than their other tables which only showed us she cared more about making money off that big party. Very disappointed for our first experience based off service. Only gave two stars because the food was good.

Over the years I have made reservations where I had to still wait 20 to 30 minutes to be sat, waited a good 45 minutes to an hour every single time for food to make it to the table even in the off season, they never seem to be able to answer a phone when you call to make reservations or ask questions, the food is great but honestly all the other factors make it not even worth eating here especially considering how expensive it is. I literally just go next door to Costa Sur, which is one of my favorite places to eat on the island anyways. They are right next door, cheaper, faster, just as good, great ambiance inside, have great drink specials, and offer way more interesting items including sometimes sushi.

First time here last night and I loved it ! I'll be back for sure !

Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. After we had already paid, we were told the wait for food would be 30–40 minutes—but it ended up being 55 minutes. And it wasn’t even busy. The chairs were disgusting—the first ones we sat in were covered in pet hair, and we had to switch them out. To make matters worse, we found a hair on the platter the pizza was served on. The pizza itself? Tasted like something you'd get from Sam’s Club, but at a ridiculously high price. Honestly, you might as well go to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and save yourself the money. And yes—they charge for ranch.

A great meatball sandwich, 60s motown on the sound system, and nice people working there. All that combined with great air conditioning makes 5 stars. How could it be any better? Pro tip: don't accidentally go into the bar if you want food. Go straight to the food ordering counter in the smaller area.

Hadn't been here in years food is still great portions are sadly much smaller on the sandwiches 1/2 what they use to be. Great beer selection bar is quiet no pool or darts that's kinda weird. New guy at the register forgot to add my app and got the drinks wrong. Took forever to get a to go box. But I'd still come here for the Philly.

This place is one of my all time favorite places to enjoy some drinks and the food is AWESOME.

The pizza is great! And the staff were awesome! Talked to one of them (sorry I didn't catch his name!) and he said they make the ingredients fresh each morning, and you can tell from the quality of the pizza. It was fun watching them toss the dough! 😁 And great prices, too!

If somebody asked me how my experience was I'd tell them "Bad" if they asked me how "Bad" I'd tell them "So bad that they made me write a review" For starters we paid almost $40 for a single pizza, a platter, and two can sodas for $1.97 a piece! That's way too high a price for a soda in a can! Then we sat there and waited for an hour; watching as multiple pizzas went into the other room which was the bar area, I don't know why but me and my friend ordered way before anyone else did in the bar area, because we watched them come in when we were waiting. While we waited a homeless man comes in, interrupted our conversation, then proceeded to bother us, begging for money and even threaten us by saying "I've done regrettable things in the past to people who didn't give me a chance" He eventually left us alone. No staff help what so ever. Only after we said no did the man rush out the door before anyone could ask him to leave, only after trying to sell us a busted wallet, chains, rings, and liquor. By the time the pizza finally arrived, it was tough and chewy. We had already finished our soda cans by the time, so we had nothing to drink unless we pay for another almost $3 soda can. Overall, hated this experience, hated the pricing, especially after a day of working in the heat.

We came here for an anniversary party. The pepperoni pizza was good and there was plenty of space for everyone to eat. There were plenty of options for craft beer. I wanted a soda and they only have can beverages. I'm not sure how much they charge per can since I didn't pay the bill, but I'm assuming it was probably more than if you have a fountain.

This place is absolutely amazing! I come every Thursday lunch, and the workers are always so kind, especially our server Ky! We got the curry noodle and tamarind fish this time around and it was perfectly made. The taste was perfect, not too much not too little. I’ll definitely keep coming back :)

My husband happened to notice a new Thai place nearby. I'm glad we decided to try them! It turns out that it is a chain restaurant, but clearly good reason that there are so many. We arrived right as they were opening up for dinner. We were a few minutes early, but we're welcomed with open arms. We only encountered two people working there, but both were extremely nice and helpful. We tried the shrimp spring rolls (which go by another name), which were what you'd expect. Nothing too special, but the peanut sauce was great! Our entrees were absolutely amazing though. I got the roasted duck curry, which had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy (we both chose 4 for the spice level)... I would 100% get that again. My husband chose the Pad Thai, which was very flavorful. I had to steal a second bite of it. The last several times I've had it elsewhere, it was pretty bland, so I was impressed. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. We will definitely be back.

I practically grew up on this Thai food in Corpus Christi! Me and my family have been coming here for the past seven years. The staff is always so respectful and welcoming. I love the calm ambiance and the place is always so clean. This place even offers outdoor tables for those who like a quieter place if it gets crowded. They always offer exceptional service and the food is delicious! 10/10

Friendly service. I ordered the Thai iced tea which was delicious. For lunch, I ordered the vegetarian pad thai, and my husband ordered the garlic & pepper with chicken. It came with your choice of soup or salad. We both choose salad. I choose the vinaigrette dressing and my husband had the peanut dressing. Both dressings were good. Tasted close to what we had when we were in Thailand.

Make reservations in advance and go to Rock n Rolls sushi lounge. This place is not it. We had the spring rolls, ring of fire & Tipps roll. Best thing was the Tipps roll but super small portion should have been priced at most 12$ and was 16. Was close to 60$ before tipping our waitress wearing flip flops and she was drinking with another table. This place is for Middle Aged islanders and tourist looking to drink and have subpar food at best. Will not be back. Once again will plan ahead and eat at rock n rolls sushi lounge much, much better. Updated menu for the heck of it since they don’t have a website.

Ordered catch of the day which was redfish. It was prepared blackened and was absolutely perfect in every way. Good size portion rich in flavor. Veggies were amazing too. Service was first class. I'll be back for sure!!!

We never even got our food. Half an hour for the spicy edamame appetizer. We saw the server spend between 3-8 minutes with other tables chit chatting. We had 2 rounds of drinks and were just looking to cash out, because our food was nowhere in sight after 1.5 hours. The server was with one table chit chatting when we recognized a familiar face. We had an entire conversation and the server was still there... we ultimately went looking for the server and the hostess was not there. We felt bad but we're tired of waiting to try an pay. We walked out without paying....it was a bar type atmosphere and very dark. We both had to huddle around the table lamp to read the menu. I would not recommend this restaurant/bar to anyone.

Terrible service. It took 10 mins to clean a table. There is no purpose or motivation with staff. The manager is only concerned with drinking with his friends at the bar. DO NOT USE THE RESTROOM!!! The group in front of us was seated an hour prior to us. An hour in and they had no food. Barely drinks.

This was a good sushi, I think they should be making the sushi at the bar in front of you when you sit at the sushi bar. Otherwise it was nice selection, flexible with the sushi rolls. I think everyone should get their own wasabi and ginger not just one small normal bit for the 5 people we had at the bar. We asked for another. Owner seemed super nice and came out to talk with us at the bar and ask how everything was tasting. The ladies received champagne as we told him we just came from the winery next door. The winery customers told us the steak was good as well here.

we were super excited to try this restaurant after seeing a Instagram post about the rattlesnake poke bowl. we ordered 2 rolls as a poke bowl, one regular roll and after asking about 5 different fish finally server said she would make sure the fish we ordered my 11 month twins would be fully cooked. Sadly after waiting an hour the server messed up all 4 of our orders thankfully 2 were corrected pretty quickly. however my babies cried the whole time waiting for their fish just for it to come out raw. I was completely understanding until she came back with the bill removing my rattlesnake poke bowl I told her I was nursing twins and needed to eat my husband asked if they could get my babies and rattlesnake poke bowl out quicker since the babies were losing it instead she completely ignored me and I left not eating and spending $100 on 2 rolls 2 apps and 5 beers. I understand mistakes but seriously how do you treat a human being like that? unless you have hours to spend here I would highly discourage you from spending your $$ for this horrible service and treatment

First timers here, had a great experience food was prepared perfectly and the steaks cooked to perfection 👌 definitely isnt his first time on the grill. Server was extremely good and was seated quickly no wait times. Would definitely come again, we had the Ol ribeye and the new york strip both perfectly cooked med rare. Appy was stuffed mushrooms good add a little garlic to it and it would be even better i think but definitely worth it.

Our server was friendly and professional; our teas were always full. The food is delicious, and their steak avocado salad is especially fresh and filling. That brownie dessert is killer! Perfect way to end the meal.

Amazing and flavorful steak! I wanted the Ol Ribeye but they were sold out, I can't wait to try it on my next visit! I had to order the silver ribeye steak and it did not disappoint at all! I posted before and after pictures of how much I enjoyed my steak that I ate every single bite. If the silver ribeye was amazing, I can not wait to try the Ol Ribeye steak. This is definitely a must try and it is definitely better than a lot of chain steakhouses around here. Give them a try, you will go home full, happy and completely satisfied with the steak! 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I took my Mom out for dinner on a Saturday night. There was like a 20-25 minute wait. Boy am I glad we decided to wait. We both ordered the 6 Oz steak with 2 sides. First off the service was awesome. My mother got the soup of the day with her order. She said the cream of potato soup was delicious. Our salads were crisp and fresh. I love the green goddess dressing. Not to many places offer it. Our medium rare steaks were cooked to perfection. It gets to your table and they ask you to slice into your steak just to make sure it was made to your liking. You also get rolls and butter. Im so happy we chose this place. I've been here before and ordered the fried fish plate which was also good. I've also had their delicious chicken fried steak. But that night im glad we chose the steak. It was so juicy and tender. I would definitely come again. A meal for two on a Saturday for just $40 before tip was an awesome deal. I will definitely be bringing my Mom back.

Wonderful place to eat and talk. Only issue waa the mail room was like a meat locker. But they moved us to the other section without issues. Shared the big bone in steak with my wife and still had leftovers.

I’m not sure if this is a sister to the infamous Niko’s, but just by looking at the menu it seems like it’s pretty similar like the Cordon Blue Poppers which is one of our favorites from Niko’s. Anyways, we just wanted to try this place out, but honestly… we like Niko’s more. Not because it’s literally down the street from our home, but they have Prime Rib and Ol’ Steakhouse does not. We shared the Potato Skins as an appetizer, and its really nothing too special. My husband got the Black & Blue Ribeye which he enjoyed, and I got the Ol Ribeye and that was okay. Like I said, I’m more of a Prime Rib gal whenever we go to steakhouses so I really didn’t care much for this place. But I guess take my opinions with a grain of salt because this review is pretty biased. I like it, just nothing to rave home about.

This was our first time here, decided to try something new for our anniversary and boyyyyyyy was this place DELICIOUS! We waited for abt 6 or 7 mins to be seated cause there was a wait due to the amount of people that were here. Mind you, we came abt 12. We were pleased to be served by Bonnie and she was incredible! Very pleasant. Will definitely come here again. Food was off the charts. Stk was cooked to perfection

Went for lunch today. We got there about 11:45 and there was no line. I got the pho with shrimp. In less than 10 minutes, my soup was at the table. The soup came out hot, the noodles tender, and the shrimp cooked perfectly. On the table if you wanted it were different sauces, and with the pho they bring out of plate with cilantro and some other items to put in your soup if you want to use it. I got the small soup for the first time and I’m glad I did, I’m usually way too full with the large one and the small one was the perfect amount for lunch. The place has a real nice atmosphere, it’s clean, and the owner and the servers are very pleasant and attentive. Over the years we’ve eaten here many times and everything on the menu we have had has been delicious.

My son and I had the Pho appetizer, egg rolls and the Spicy battered fried shrimp. All were delicious! The servers were professional and attentive. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants!

Well priced and packed with flavor. This place is definitely a hidden gem although not that well hidden (it has a huge sign). The waitress was informative about the dishes and they came out as explained. They were very tasty and for a great price.

Absolutely disappointed. The lo-mein has a strange taste, like gas or butane, and that’s about the only flavor. The chicken from the sweet and sour chicken is stringy, tough, and unpleasant to look at and eat. The pieces are strangely shaped and completely uneven. The fried rice is half cooked with crunchy grains riddled throughout. Somehow, it’s gummy and underdone at the same time. The egg drop soup is lacking salt, has minimal flavor, and the consistency of water. To top it off, our order is not complete - they forgot an egg roll but at this point I’m not sure we’re missing much. We were also told no refund could be provided for our missing item because we ordered online. First and last time here - no leftovers wanted and hungry bellies tonight.

Today 09/30 at 3:20pm I called to place an order and asked the lady if they ever were located on SPID, so I can order what I would usually get. Entirely rude and responded as if she was the owner for years (clearly she wasn’t) I ended up NOT ordering from there because of her stank-attitude. Went elsewhere with BETTER service and food. Attn Mgmt- work on the customer service because it really gives off poor level of education.

Food was delicious and hot, came out perfect. Hadn't been here in a few years but taste just like it used to. Would recommend to others and will definitely be back! A+++

Wow! Authentic mexican food no doubt about it! Food is phenomenal, homemade, the tortillas are also homemade and so dang good!! If you are looking for legit authentic mexican food, look no further, their prices can't be beat! We had the cheese enchilada plate and the chicharron plate, both were legit!

We were told this was one of Selena’s favorite restaurants. The food was great. But tortillas aren’t homemade. The flour ones did taste homemade but they aren’t. But I mean overall the food was great & super packed! That’s a given how good it is.

Hi-Ho is by far one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. I discovered this gem while visiting the Selena Museum, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing as was the service and atmosphere as well. I had the pleasure of meeting Ben who’s an amazing guy. He took the time to share the rich history behind the restaurant, which made the experience even more meaningful. I was recommended by my waitress the carne guisada which was absolutely delicious. (Ps they have the best tortillas somebody could ever taste) Thanks again and I can’t wait to visit Hi-Ho again!

Best Mexican food ever. Great hospitality, waitress was friendly and courteous. Owners very welcoming. Staff great. A wonderful way to end a great trip.

The food here is excellent. Just like home made Mexican food. Our waitress Carmen always provides outstanding service, but all the waitresses there are very good. There Mole, chicken chalupas, chicken enchiladas, barbacoa, menudo always on point. Everything is always yummy.

This was a good coffee shop. I got an iced pistachio oat milk latte and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Both were really good. There is plenty of seating and it is quiet in the mornings. The staff was super friendly.

I always swing by here on the way to class if I am wanting a coffee or something to eat. The coffee is always good here, haven’t had anything I was disappointed with. I usually get the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant and it’s always great. The service is always very friendly, asking about my day and how I’m doing. LOVE this place!

I recently stopped by Coffee Waves to grab an iced coffee latte, arriving a little later in the day than ideal—but I’m glad I did. Overall, it was a solid experience, with a few minor hiccups.

We used to frequent coffee waves when we lived in Corpus and it’s always one of our first stops when we visit now. They have the very best coffee. The grasshopper is our fave - can’t be beat!!

We stopped by Coffee Waves and honestly, the inside was such a pleasant surprise—it looks way better than the outside! The vibe was calm and cozy, with a good number of people quietly doing their own thing. The cashier was super nice and didn’t make me feel weird for not knowing drink names (love that). Both staff members were polite and welcoming. The drinks were spot on! I got a matcha with sugar-free vanilla and swapped out the honey they usually add. I also added strawberry cold foam, so good! My boyfriend got something that totally gave caramel Frappuccino vibes (I forgot the name, sorry!). I tried checking their website for a menu but couldn’t find one, so that was a little tricky. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

My go to iced vanilla latte for years and still my favorite place to take my kids for treat or gelato! Baristas are always so kind too. Best coffee shop!

My daughter and I went for a cooking class they were holding. We had a lot of fun! The instructor and staff were so nice! They host a variety of cooking and crafts classes. We then toured the museum and small gift shop. I had no idea there was even an Asian museum until this class. I highly recommend it!!

I did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at all the Asian displays and interactive stations. This is definitely a place that I enjoyed visiting. They also have cooking and martial arts classes. It was nice to see something from the Ainu, my ancestors.

The highlight is an incredible display of hundreds of Hakata dolls. The entry price is very reasonable and helps to support the museum.

Great time to spend with family at the Cherry 🌸 Blossom Festival... Great food, great vendors. I just expected to see more of the displays....

I've been here for a few cooking classes and then recently got a ceramic class. They have fun activities and classes to get involved with, and their museum is nice. The staff is very friendly and informative. There are some new upcoming things that I'm excited to join in. Check out out!

Great place to see art from the Asian culture, kids can create origami and try calligraphy.

They're a small museum, but I really liked going. There were so many interesting things; like the dolls, which I didn't think I'd find interesting, but they turned out to be incredible! Since they have loads more artifacts which they rotate in every so often it's definitely worth going back to see more! The gift shop doesn't have much, but their lucky cat key chains are cute 😸

Decent beach near the city, acceptable if you want the convenience of city dining and access to the water. Sadly there is a lot of plastic, trash, and cigarette butts scattered around. There was even broken glass near the trash can. Would love to see no smoking signs and no glass bottles enforced here to preserve what could be a very nice place for visitors.

As a Corpus Christi native this is my go to beach for when I just want to chill and spend a few hours at the beach! I call it the “casual beach”

If you are reading this and you work for some government agency that is responsible for maintaining a coastal region/ beach, go visit McGee Beach! I have rarely seen a black front area as clean and well maintained as this one and plenty of police officers and cleaning crews constantly roaming g the area. Well done Corpus Christi

We enjoyed ourselves coming from San Antonio area. The beach does need a little cleaning from the trash.

Loved the small area here. This place is popular for families and kids especially. Very scenic and there were food trucks there in case you didn't bring anything.

Water is full of jellyfish. Could not get in the water. It did have Small playground, 2 foodtrucks, Large restroom facility

The beach here has a lot of clean and fun amenities like showers, bathrooms, playground, motorized scooters, and food trucks on weekends. A trash pick up team is needed to clean up the excessive garbage on the beach. The sand is not soft, so I would recommend bringing a chair and maybe some cushions or blankets if you want to sit on the sand comfortably. Unfortunately I saw a 14 or 15 year old boy, with makeup, long black hair, and about 5 ft 4 in with the voice of a man and body of a boy in the woman’s bathroom with a girl about 14-15 years old in the same stall.

I had the brisket street tacos and green beans. Tacos were filling and pretty darn good. The green beans were very tasty. The bar staff was very approachable and knowledgeable of the menu. The delivery staff had no clue who ordered what items. The atmosphere is comfortable but the benches are not. I’m really happy with the wine selection. ALL TEXAS WINES! Thank you for supporting local.

We got the Brisket Nachos, and they were pretty good. Looks are a little deceiving because there were a ton of chips under all the toppings and by the time we got through the first half we didn’t finish the rest because it was all chips. Still good, but not our favorite.

Over all the food was pretty good. I wasn’t expecting the gumbo to be as good when it was delivered but the flavor was really good and not too spicy. The turkey and pork in the tacos didn’t really have that BBQ smokiness but the flavor was still really good. The green beans were very tasty which also something that was unexpected. There is plenty of seating with picnic like tables inside.

The corn was delicious! They should sell the sauce on top!! The food was good overall but wish the meat was a little more seasoned. Turkey was spot on but the brisket and pork lacked just a little. We don’t drink beer so don’t try it. Cider was good. Sangria not the best especially since it has ice and was watered down. Overall, worth a stop if you’re hungry!

Great space, easy to get to with plentiful parking close by. Brisket was great and I loved their Hefeweizen. The Mac and cheese and Coke were both really good as well. I really enjoyed my visit. Ribs had great flavor and were tasty.

Plenty of options! The staff was super friendly and there’s a free lot next to the brewery that we used for the Fourth of July weekend. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Close and walking distance to the beach too!

Cool spot off Alameda with a nice wine and craft beer list. The wine was great, but the service was very slow- only 1 waitress for the entire night. Food was hit or miss, but really enjoyed the charcuterie board. Great concept but missing the finishing touches expected for the $$$.

We came during Spring break for dinner. We ordered a whole bunch tapas. Our favorite were baked Brie and shrimp ceviche. The rest of our choices were blend (fish ceviche). Muscles and salmon (in salmon with artichoke and asparagus) were overcooked. We enjoyed the strawberry and basil cocktails.

We really enjoyed the food,the sliders were huge and delicious. The wedge salad was beyond tasty and unique with the prosciutto touch. I forgot to take pictures, unfortunately, as we were starved, but I do have one of the sliders.. we had extra!

First time and won’t be the last! Excellent creations, good and drinks. Not crowded and nice cozy laid back environment. Service was a bit slow, but only because they didn’t have the staff for the customers. But that was not an issue at all, and the food made it well worth the little wait. See y’all soon, Tannins!

This is a cute little place. Don't go there, HUNGRY, looking for FOOD!! They have snack type stuff, appetizers if you will, and plenty of drink options. You can not move tables to put your group together. The drinks were tasty. The appetizers were good. The atmosphere was warm. It's a good little place.

Great place to hang with friends. The drinks are pretty and tasty. The good is amazing. The chef even brings it out to the table. Crab cake sliders were awesome. Loved the Brie too. Veterans get 50% off food.

Has an initial smell of mold inside. Live music is outside… in the dirt mostly. A great place for making and meeting friends. Not a place for high end fun. I wouldn’t revisit but some people enjoy this type of place. Didn’t eat as it seemed not so sanitary.

The bar is great and the service is friendly. They don't serve food but there is a restaurant inside with a great menu. No barbecue. The Thursday night steak night is fun and reasonable.

A nice place to get a beer or other libation. If you're there for lunch it's fine for that also. Thursdays are $15 steak nights. Phone in reservations required. A few evenings per month they have live music on an outdoor stage.

Pissed off just left this place due to them being racist and ride couldn’t even drink comfortably while being there will never go back to that bar. Rather just buy my own stuff.

Had a great time. Great place to watch a game eat some great food preparation by Recio's Smoke House and amazing drinks made by the bar tenders.

Just felt like we couldnt be comfortable and was told we couldnt get drinks after only having two shots just didn't feel like we were welcomed and will never go back again

My only complaint was that this restaurant looks really dirty. The white/black tile floor looks like it has never ever been cleaned, and the round lights above the bar are filthy and dusty. Who knows what the kitchen looked like? Over the food was pretty good, but it just needs a good cleaning.

Olivia is an amazing bartender, she’s always attentive and makes great drinks. Their food is incredible, I LOVE their asada tacos and the Violetta. I always have to visit when I’m in town, it’s such a great vibe. The inside is pretty and has a nice aesthetic. I wish I had a picture of the asada tacos before I absolutely destroyed them.

Food was amazing and authentic!! Wait and bar staff very well attentive!! Very impressed, even from someone from Acapulco!! Great job YOLA!!

We had a nice quiet lunch. The service was good and the meal was about average. The cocktails were not the best and served in improper glasses in the near room temperature. This was our first time at this restaurant. We might give it another try another day. Thanks

I am extremely biased when it comes to Mexican food but when I tell you this is extremely good Mexican I don’t lie. I litterly orgasmed with every fiber of my body, just buckets from how amazing the food was. My body was in full ecstasy , shout out to chef and staff , I’m gonna go smoke a stogey and relax on the beach ILL BE BACK FOR MORE

Overall: This is a great place to get nice food and drinks. This place has so much potential and id love to see it packed on a Saturday night. I love going out for drinks and this place will be on our rotation from now on. Atmosphere: My bf and I came here on a Saturday night around 9:15 pm. For most of the meal, we were the only people there. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful and well stocked bar. It was kind of awkward halfway through the meal because they turned off the music and it added to the fact that no one was there. I was confused because I thought they were closed and we were overstaying our time because of it. We wanted to get another round of drinks but we elected to leave because it was awkward. Service: Jayden was our server tonight. She was so kind and knowledgeable of the menu. I appreciated that she took the time to explain everything to us and showed genuine enthusiasm for the dishes and drinks. They offer Acquia Panna as their water which is always a good sign in a restaurant, especially since corpus tap water is horrible. Drinks: Fantastic and a great value!! For the quality, drinks are so affordable. Not pictured, but we also go the mole Manhattan. They served it with a Luxardo cherry so that was a great sign. It featured mole bitters which added a nice spice flavor (maybe star anise or cinnamon) to the drink. Pineapple pisco was delicious. It had a good amount of alcohol and it wasn’t too sweet. It was the second time I had pisco and the sourness of the pineapple and the egg white foam complemented it well. About $10 - $15 a drink. We moved here from Dallas and this establishment was comparable to some of the places we frequent (like Paradiso but cheaper lol). This bar alone should be keeping the place packed at night but for whatever reason, this isn’t the case. Our server explained that this area is a residential area with an older population but that shouldn’t matter because Corpus Christi is small to begin with so it’s not like people would have to drive far to get here. Perhaps people don’t know about it? Or maybe cocktail bars aren’t popular here? Food: food was delicious! Jayden recommended the Queso fundido to us which was excellent. The salsas it came with were great and had a good spice level. Agua chile had a beautiful presentation. I do wish the shrimp had absorbed more of the flavor of the liquid. Robalo was so good! I love a whole fried fish and I’m so glad we ordered this. It was more than enough to share. They only gave us 2 corn tortillas with it though so next time I hope they offer a few more. The carnations as decorations were kind of unnecessary though. We will be back and I hope next time this place will be packed as it should be!

The Texan has very reasonably priced drinks. The selection of draft beer is good and served cold. Pool, darts, and an expansive & well landscaped outside area are available.

I didn't try the food, but the beer 🍺 was cold and the patio was beautiful.

This place has a great atmosphere, 2 pool tables, a shuffle board, a jukebox that connect to your phone, and a poker game machine. They have some of the coolest bartenders and are now serving BarbQ! The smell breaks me everytime, I end up ordering the pulled pork sandwich! Also they have one of the best bloody Marys around! Like I'm not kidding! I'm a bloody Mary girl an have been looking for the best in corpus Christi and I have to sayyyy... I think I have found it here at the Texan! They have IPA beer and let's not forget to mention they have cheaper prices.

Love this bar, it's one of the only two I really care to go to in corpus. It's not a trendy or upscale tavern, it's a bar where everyone who walks in and knows how to act is welcome. Occasional rock bands play on weekends, other than that it's never really crowded, but there's always a good crowd :-) Best patio in town, with a large BBQ pit where anyone can come responsibly cook on, they might even supply some lighter and foil if you look like you know what you're doing, and brought enough to share... did I mention there's a zero tolerance for drama? 'Nuff said huh~

The bartender is super sweet and there's cats outside! Super great bar.

Old neighborhood bar. Nice chill atmosphere and friendly locals! They have a back patio area with really nice sculpted garden and benches. Great place for friends to go and hang!

Mustang Island State Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. We stayed at Site #3, which was easy to access and offered a great view — perfect for relaxing or enjoying a walk along the shore. The beach was clean, the water was clear, and the park was well maintained throughout. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and family-friendly. A wonderful spot for a beach getaway.

Mustang Island State Park is a beautiful spot to enjoy the Texas coast! The beach access is excellent — it’s easy to get to the sand and the beaches themselves are wide, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. It’s a great place to relax, take a walk, or just enjoy the ocean breeze. The RV park, while convenient, is more of a parking lot setup than a traditional campground, so don’t expect much privacy or scenery there. However, the location makes up for it — it’s close to Corpus Christi, with plenty of restaurants and shopping just a short drive away. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to visit for the beaches and convenience, especially if you’re looking to explore the area.

We probably would not stay at this campground again because it was so humid. You could not see the beach from the campground, but you could walk around the dune about a quarter mile to actually get to the beach. The bathroom facilities were very nice with many shower stalls too. We had 50 amp service with good water pressure and there was a dump site near the exit to the RV campground. There were lots of tents around the RVs, which made it not as nice and there were zero trees. The wind was very strong 100% of the time I was afraid I would have to stake down my truck (just kidding). I can’t believe anyone would camp in a tent here because it’s so hot and so humid you couldn’t possibly have a good night sleep. If you were looking for a place to relax this probably isn’t it. It is very windy and very hot and humid. The people in tents must’ve been miserable. Had we known we didn’t have to buy a $12 annual pass to park on the beach at Aranza’s beaches, not at the state park. You could go on any beach with this annual pass, some people had their RVs on those beaches.

We enjoyed camping on the beach all weekend! We have a parks pass so it was less than $10. With clean portatoilets, picnic tables, and waste bins every few feet, the experience was much better than the free beach front down the way.

This was an awesome place to spend the night at the beach without crowds. It was very serene and peaceful. The ocean water was warm and calm. The sand was pleasant to walk on the shore and inside the water. This beach is very clean and well taken care of it the park personnel.

A beautiful and peaceful beach that's clean and soft sand as far as the eye can see. The water is shallow enough you can walk way out into the bay and the crabs all over the beach are so cute!

When I first started coming to this place after moving to CC. Everything was great. I would just order my food from the mealkey site & pick it up! Now it seems like every time I come something else is missing from my bag. I paid for an extra seasoning which is what it’s named in the site for extra sauce that comes in your bag. I got home to find that it wasn’t in my bag. The ordering site can stand to be updated bc sometimes I get broccoli & sausage in my bag & other times I don’t. The extra sauce in my bag is in one of the pictures, if this is what it is then they need to specify that on the site & not leave folks to guessing. They are starting to skimp on the sauce each time I come now too! Hence me ordering extra sauce!!!!! Other times I’ve ordered extra sauce, it’s been the sauce I picked in my seafood boil bag. They have the nerve to automatically add on a $5 tip for what?! Yall to bring it to my car & forget to put what I ordered in my bag?!?! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. UPDATE: as I’m eating, I notice that my mussels were not cleaned well. I’ve added a picture!

I tried this place 8 months ago and couldn't wait to come back! The absolute best seafood boil I've ever had!!! The flavors, the spice, EVERYTHING is awesome! PSS... the fried calamari, WOW!

Saturday night so for sure along wait. I did notice in the front door waiting area doors and walls of random people written their names/alias. Even the chairs as well a bit tacky. Myself and my co-workers had no complaints on the meals. But the drinks an issue. I’m the only one who had ID. They all over 35 and it’s obvious. The waiter said she must see the card. My friend didn’t like the long wait in between refills on his tea/water.

Appetizers were brought to us about 10 minutes after ordering. Fast service. Food was absolutely delicious!!!! Waitress checked on us often and was very helpful when we were ordering

We got there at around 8:40pm on Saturday, and waited for 30min to get seated, and waited another 25-30min to get our order ready. It is acceptable for adults but not recommended for family with little kids. I really like the seafood there but I don’t like the waiter who asked me to add extra veggies and others, but didn’t tell me not free.

My husband and I were visiting family in Texas (we’re from Tennessee) and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. As self-proclaimed foodies—especially when it comes to seafood—we had high expectations, and they were completely exceeded. Food and service were both amazing. 10/10—we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

To the owner, thank you for your quick response. We are from SAT, and were in Padre Island for the weekend. We browse your website and had a budget of $100-$150 to purchase fresh seafood. The next trip, we will make sure to stop by and make a purchase. Again, thank you quick response! Showed up around 08:30 am. Walk in and did not get greeted, so I said good morning. The lady across the counter barely made eye contact with me, while I asked for different fish prices and availability. She was Hispanic or Mexican with a NASTY attitude. I will not recommend or ever visit this establishment again.

Fresh flounder fillets and gulf shrimp... About 20$ for the half pound we got and 4 good size fillets. Prob about a pound of flounder

Paul’s is the go-to seafood joint in Port A—hands down! Whether you’re fresh off the boat or just soaking up the beach vibes, this is the only place to grab the freshest catch in town. The selection is always amazing, the quality is unbeatable, and the staff makes you feel like a local every time. It’s got that laid-back, coastal charm that keeps you coming back. If you’re vacationing in Port A and looking for top-notch seafood, don’t even think twice—head straight to Paul’s!

Went for the family fish fry we do yearly cause we didn't catch enough to feed everyone and Paul's came through with the rest we needed and was helpful with letting us know what not to get. Best staff and service.

I am all about customer service, but they did not have any. Man working behind the counter definitely acted like he did not want to be there, rude to other customers, the election was not great, prices were unavailable. It’s whatever he spouted out take it or leave attitude! We purchased crab legs, shrimp & flounder fillets, all was good, little over priced but still less expensive than going out. Again I am very big on customer service, a smile & a friendly welcome could go along way.

Bought and made our own fried shrimp! Tired of the average size and taste getting from all the local restaurants.

Good place to stop into to grab some fresh seafood! We grabbed some shrimp that were very fresh and large and delicious! Will be visiting again on our next trip!

Awesome ! Was over from the UK in Corpus Christie for one day only and stopped off for what was one drink to cool down. It ended up a lot longer as the owner, staff, and customers very welcoming and made us feel like locals, we had an amazing time. Highly recommend.

Honestly, I'm not exactly a beer connoisseur, and I've always passed by this place for years, but I finally stopped by on my birthday weekend and got to taste some of their crazy beer flavors. I mean, blueberry beer? That's a new one, but weirdly, I loved it! The vibe was awesome, with great tunes and friendly people. I'll definitely be back for more! 😃

Tapology is by far the best bar in town, they have an amazing/huge selection of craft beer always ready to go. Chad is the man!! Always takes care of my friends and I and always makes sure we have a good time. I always recommend tap to my friends looking to go out and have fun
