Traditional market
Flea & Street Markets
Dongmun Traditional Market, established in 1945, is a bustling indoor market on Jeju Island. It's renowned for offering the freshest seafood caught from the surrounding sea. Visitors can savor freshly prepared raw fish and local delicacies like omegi tteok and gogi guksu. The market also boasts a wide array of souvenirs, making it a popular shopping destination for both tourists and locals.
It was our last night in South Korea. The Dongmun Market is not much different from the half dozen other markets we visited during our trip (except they sell a lot of oranges in Jeju Island!). It was a nice way to spend our last evening amongst the people, colours, sounds and tastes of a popular Korean market. We ended up dining on cheap but tasty flame-broiled black pork rolls, black pork skewers and steamed dumplings from the food stalls.
K J — Google review
Dongmun Traditional Market was not quite what I expected, it felt more like a typical tourist market than a local one. That said, the energy is lively, and the street food scene is worth checking out. One highlight I recommend is the freshly squeezed tangerine juice, sweet, refreshing, and a nice way to enjoy one of Jeju’s specialties. If you’re nearby, it’s worth a quick visit, but don’t expect a hidden gem, it’s popular for a reason.
Dani J — Google review
I love going to local markets and won’t miss a chance to explore one. There are a huge variety of seafood vendors and plenty of those selling tangerines and snacks. It is a must to get a bottle of tangerine juice. And the tangerine mochi were really great, I love them and they were not too sweet as well. The natural sweetness of tangerine goes really well with the red beans and the mochi has such a light texture. Most of the shops are selling the same things with the same promotion mechanics. Just get from someone that you like. Great place to get some snacks as souvenirs. I like the dark chocolate tangerines and also the gummy sweets.

Dongmun Traditional Market is a must-visit place for all visitors to Jeju. It was established in 1945 and moved to the present site in 1954. It offers a variety of goods including fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, local cookies, souvenirs, clothing, fish, shellfish and various types seafood, etc. There are many food stalls selling all kinds of Korean foods and snacks. Many people queue up at the popular stalls buy the food including the black pork rolls and raw fish slices. It gets crowded in the evening.
CS C — Google review
We came in at night, most of the wetmarket are close, but still plenty of food stalls and gifts shops open, basically a night market. Recommend to come in both day and night time, should be quite different. You can get a glimpse of how the locals live their lives. The foods are great!!
Lam L — Google review
A very lively market especially at night! There are lots of nice ladies offering free taste of🍊🍊🍊. I wana try all these yummy smelling food that I only see from kdrama!
Kittybelles — Google review
A vibrant place. Delecious food, lot of options and amazing energy. The energy and variety of the food choice differs in different markets around Korea and this was definitely my best market experience.

A Sensory Journey: My Honest Review of Dongmun Traditional Market, Jeju (4/5 Stars) Stepping into Dongmun Traditional Market felt like being enveloped in a warm, buzzing hug. From the moment I crossed the threshold, the air was alive with the scent of fresh seafood, sweet tangerines, and sizzling street food. It's truly the beating heart of Jeju, and I'm so glad I made the time to get lost in its vibrant chaos. My visit was in the late afternoon, transitioning into the early evening, which I highly recommend. The market hums during the day with locals doing their daily shopping – the freshest fish, vibrant produce, and everyday essentials. It was fascinating to see this side of Jeju life, a stark contrast to some of the more picturesque, tranquil spots on the island. But as the sun dipped lower, Dongmun transformed. The "Night Market" section came alive with dazzling neon lights and the rhythmic sizzle of countless food stalls. This is where my emotional connection truly began. I wandered, mesmerized by the sheer variety: blow-torched black pork skewers, cheesy abalone, vibrant fruit tanghulu, and endless variations of local pancakes. The energy was infectious, with vendors calling out to passersby and the happy chatter of families and friends. I remember stopping at a stall selling Jeju's famous Hallabong tangerines. The vendor, a sweet elderly lady with a bright smile, insisted I try a piece. It was incredibly juicy and sweet, bursting with the essence of the island. It wasn't just a transaction; it was a small, genuine moment of connection that made me feel truly welcome. I splurged on some freshly prepared sashimi, which was unbelievably fresh, practically melting in my mouth. And of course, I couldn't resist a few of the adorable tangerine-themed souvenirs – a little reminder of the island's unique charm. While the market is undeniably a fantastic experience, I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 stars. My only slight reservation was that, at times, it felt a little too touristy, especially in the main night market food area. Some stalls seemed to offer very similar items, and the sheer crowds could be a bit overwhelming if you're looking for a peaceful stroll. It felt less "traditional" and more "attraction" in those moments. However, that small point doesn't detract from the overall magic. Dongmun Traditional Market is an assault on the senses in the best possible way. It's a place where you can taste the authentic flavors of Jeju, witness the lively spirit of its people, and leave with a bag full of goodies and a heart full of cherished memories. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to truly immerse themselves in Jeju's local culture.

Farmers Markets
Seogwipo Olle Market is an indoor market that has been around since the 1960s, offering a variety of stalls selling fresh produce, seafood, and household goods. Located in Seogwipo, the second-largest city on Jeju Island in South Korea, this market is part of a region known for its rocky volcanic coastline and stunning natural landscapes.
I love markets and will always try to visit whenever I travel. There are plenty of souvenirs, food, seafood, snacks to be found here. The market is vibrant and colorful. We enjoyed the tangerine mochi that many stalls are offering. We bought some snacks to bring home. The apple mango was in season and it’s the best mango I had, so juicy and sweet and without fiber. It’s really expensive though.
Mei Y — Google review
It’s a “okay” local/tourist market, not really worth to pay a visit to be honest. They mainly sell souvenir gift set, fruits, dry fish, vegetable and some “street food”. As a tourist if I purposely to a place, I would expect a little bit more. But since I’m with young child and my mother, they’re not a scenery type of traveler and also time we’re very limited as we travel by cruise line, So we just picked a close local market and expect to do some snacking of street food and can do a little bit of shopping. The food there looks nice, but you can tell because of the number of people there they aren’t that fresh. As a souvenir if your next step allows you to bring along fruit, I think they have very nice orange there grow in Jeju. But too bad we were not in the season so we can only get the juice. It’s all right, but not a must visit. I think there is a bigger one on the northern side and scenery is awesome even on a simple road side. Should have gone to some famous scenery instead.
Chow K — Google review
Great spot to explore and try a wide variety of local foods. The market has an amazing mix of street food, snacks, and small stalls offering everything from traditional Jeju specialties to freshly made desserts and drinks. The atmosphere is lively and full of great smells everywhere you turn. There are plenty of options for all tastes, whether you’re into seafood, meat skewers, or sweet treats. Prices are reasonable, and you can easily make a fun meal out of sampling different stalls. A must-visit place in Seogwipo if you want to experience authentic Jeju flavors and a warm, bustling market vibe.
Wrinklefreebrain — Google review
A bustling market full of energy, street food aromas, and a lively mix of young locals and tourists. There’s so much to see, taste, and buy. It's definitely worth a visit if you want a true slice of Jeju life. Highly recommend picking up some dried cuttlefish (for cooking) here — around ₩10,000 for 2–3 pieces, depending on size. One of the best-value finds in the market! We entered and park in the car park. Free parking avail at the carpark when we got there. A must-try local specialty are the tangerine mochi and tangerines. We like it so much we went twice and bought double the amount of mochi the second time. It’s filled with half a fresh tangerine, red bean paste, and wrapped in an ultra-soft mochi skin. It's absolutely divine! We also tried the giblets dish at the food court (actually it is pork intestines with rice cakes and mushrooms). It’s cooked teppanyaki-style, and they blow-torch the meat at the end. It had a smoky, rich, and delicious flavour. Picked up some Jeju rice cracker snacks (so tasty!) and also tried the fried abalone gimbap. The flavour was a bit mild, but thankfully it came with a dipping sauce. A vibrant, flavour-filled experience perfect for food lovers and anyone wanting to explore Jeju’s local scene.

Quite a cozy market. Most shops opens later in the day but many souvenir shops everywhere. Can compare prices btw the different shops for good deals. If u buy more at one shop, they will give u free stuff as well so recommend to shop all the snacks at one shop after u have compare the prices. There are shops with 1+1 as well. The size is quite small so can cover the whole place quickly.

Maeil Olle Market is not large, but nifty, much like Seogwipo which is a small town. I like the ponds which are lined with benches that run the length of the covered main thoroughfare. They sell a lot of oranges in Jeju Island (but not cheap). There were many food stalls. We had dinner at "Jeok Sim".
K J — Google review
Didn’t take much pictures due to hunger but i must say we walked out very satisfied. The dumplings in the picture are so good & affordable too (6 for $12) and we also tried the traditional rice cake, black pork sausage gimbap, fish cake & tteokbokki. Also bought many cute and affordable souvenirs like snacks and keychains to bring home! 🙏

Cafe Delmoondo is a charming coffee spot situated on Hamdeok Beach, offering a stunning sea view that attracts many visitors. The cafe features a spacious layout with an outdoor terrace facing the ocean, providing a serene setting to enjoy coffee and treats. Whether it's early morning or late at night, the ambiance is inviting and peaceful. Additionally, the cafe's unique architecture blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, creating an unforgettable experience for guests.
Came across this beautiful cafe on our drive. It was a very cold and windy day but so warm inside. The staff were very friendly, welcoming us from Australia. The pastries were delicious, coffees were amazing, my partner loved the Peanut Butter Latte! Inside upstairs has a lovely space to see the view from any table and enjoy some relaxing time.

We cycled past this cafe without stopping during our RTI a few days ago and now we're finally back by car. Finally get to try this nice cafe. It was good.

The coffee was good, but if it's crowded, you have to arm yourself with patience, as it might take a while to be ready. The pastries were nice, especially the croissant. The view it's spectacular 🌊💙

This was my first cafe after picking up the car in Jeju, and it was thoroughly enjoyable! The scenic views of the nearby plateaus, seas, beaches, and the people's lifestyles, coupled with the gentle sea breeze, and the delicious pastries - ahh, heavenly. There's a small island nearby for great photos.
Xian L — Google review
Awesome café directly on the beach. They had great food at the baker and fairly priced drinks at the bar. The location truly sets the vibe during warm summer nights. This is a must see if you are planning a trip to Jeju Island. It is within walking distance of many hotels and other eateries and stores.

The peanut latte and cappuccino? Absolutely delightful 🤩 The view is lovely, though I wouldn’t exactly call it jaw-dropping 🤣 Prepare your wallet, this place has mastered the art of being extravagantly pricey 🤣 And if you thrive in the chaos of bustling, tourist-packed spots, well, this is your paradise! 🤪

Cafe with fantastic views. Bread and pastries better than drinks. Probably overrated because it’s a popular local and foreign tourist spot.

Antoinette Cafe & Bistro is a charming bakery located in a beautiful seaside setting, offering stunning views of the ocean. The cafe boasts a delectable selection of desserts that are as delightful to look at as they are to eat. Visitors can also enjoy the cozy seating area upstairs, complete with soft mats where guests can relax and unwind.
One of the few cafes that is near airport and opens early at 8am. After landing and collecting the car, we drive here for some coffees and brekkie. Lovely view, self service everything, clean toilets. Food was decently good but prices were a little high. Fresh bakes out only at 9am. So have to wait for the truck to come and load up.
Big [ — Google review
Kitty and I were looking forward to a leisurely breakfast at Antoinette Cafe & Bistro, but we were surprised to find the hours listed on Google were incorrect. The tourist information counter to collect the bike passport actually opened at 9:00 am, not 6:00 am, so we ended up grabbing a quick breakfast of instant noodles at a nearby G25, just like in a Korean drama. We then headed to Antoinette Cafe & Bistro for a coffee and treat. The cafe has a beautiful, modern interior with large windows offering breathtaking ocean views. The ambiance was very relaxing and inviting, with soft Korean music playing in the background. It's worth noting that the cafe has a policy requiring each guest to order something from the menu, which helps ensure a pleasant dining experience for everyone. We ordered a Caramel Macchiato and Omegi Dolquaz, which were both delicious. The cafe also offers a variety of fresh pastries, but unfortunately, they weren't available until 9:30 am. While the cafe's location was beautiful, we wished we could have stayed longer, as the incorrect hours meant we had to cut our visit short. But despite that, I would still highly recommend Antoinette Cafe & Bistro. It's a lovely place to relax, enjoy a delicious coffee and treat, and take in the stunning ocean views.

Antoinette (Jeju): A Delightful Pastry Paradise (4.5/5 Stars) Rating: • Pastries: 4.5/5 (Beautiful, tempting pastries that are clearly a hit with locals) • Ambiance: 4/5 (Charming cafe with a cozy atmosphere) • Service: 4/5 (Friendly and efficient, especially considering the popularity) Overall: 4.5/5 After obtaining our bike passport stickers (a story for another time!), Donkey and I proceeded with our cycling itinerary, stopping at Antoinette for a coffee and dessert break. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a delightful aroma of freshly baked pastries and a charming, cozy atmosphere. It was clear we had stumbled upon a local favorite! What truly surprised us was the impressive display of pastries. They were so beautifully presented, it was hard to resist their tempting allure! We were informed that they only start serving pastries at 9 am, and as soon as they were displayed, we watched as the cafe filled up with customers eager to purchase their favorites. Antoinette is definitely a must-visit for pastry lovers in Jeju. Their beautiful pastries are clearly a hit with locals, and the charming atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a relaxing coffee break.

took a red eye flight and landed in jeju real early. upon collecting our car, this was one of the cafes that was near the airport and opened early. stopped by for coffee, but turns out their bakes and breads were the highlight. there are 2 floors to this space, the lower floor is much quieter and the views are the same. we didn’t know this and settled down on the top floor where the cashier and bakes were. so it was high footfall and nosier. but the cafe faces the sea and we managed to get seats facing the sun, so we were comfortable. we were early and hungry before the bakes were ready, so the staff recommended us some pasta while we waited for the bakes. good stuff.

Nestled in the southern city of Seogwipo on Jeju Island, Seogwipean Bakery is a charming bakery and cafe that offers a delightful sensory experience. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and brewing coffee. The three-story building provides a scenic view of the coast, adding to the overall ambiance. The bakery boasts an impressive selection of artisanal bread, beautifully crafted pastries, and specialty lattes with unique touches like green foam.
Amongst numerous great cafes in Jeju, Seogwipean Bakery stands out for its well decorated interiors and exceptional see views. The interior design gives a very European/ Mediterranean feel and attention to detail is clear. The cafe looks incredible and every section has a feature that makes it hard to take a boring photo. Highly Instagrammable.

Incredible bakery 😍 Gorgeous seaside ambience, clean facilities, friendly service, delicious baked goods. What more can you ask for? 💚 Matcha croissant ACTUALLY has strong matcha flavor in the whipped filling (unlike so many other bakeries) ❤️ Salt bread was a dream. So chewy and delicious. 👍 They will slice your bread for you if you want to eat inside! 👍 Love that the sinks are outside the bathroom so you can still wash your hands when the stalls are occupied. Must-visit bakery!!! Will be back again and highly recommend to everyone!

200% photo-taking happening at every corner of the café! We arrived around 8:45 am and got to pick from a wider variety of bakes — they have a baking schedule, so you’ll know what’s fresh and when. The café spans 3 levels with plenty of seating; we chose the 3rd floor. Wi-Fi is available on all floors, though you’ll need to reconnect when switching levels. We had the ham & cheese croissant, egg mayo toast, and two drinks — a lovely breakfast with a sea view. It’s so pretty here, we could’ve easily stayed all day!

One of the best cafes/bakery you will find in Jeju/Korea. The atmosphere is just great. Very chill vibes, great music and good service. I cannot wait to go back

Beautiful and relaxing bakery. You can spend a few hours here just enjoying the coffee, the cakes, and the view. My recommendation is the grape and cream bun and peanut butter coffee. There are 3 floors to the establishment. The 3rd floor lounge is the best I think. Down sides is that at sunset, the light is very piercing, and most customers will face away from the windows. The first floor toilet is also quite smelly.

Came here because landing cafe was not opened. More pastries choice but the coffee was not very good. Amazing view from the cafe. I like the corner station to heat up my pastries. The waiter is friendlier than then waitress as she refused to help me to heat up and the waiter stepped in to help.

Jeju Black Pork is a must-try when visiting the island, as it's considered the best pork in South Korea. Known for its unique taste and juiciness, this local breed is highly popular and even has a street dedicated to it - Black Pork Street. The firmness of its meat and delicious flavor make it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While there are various ways to prepare it, the most recommended dish is barbecue, offering a perfect blend of flavors.
Did a short hike (Jeju Olle Trail, route 7) and stumbled upon this place afterwards so had dinner here. It was definitely a great find. Lovely family run place; had delicious meat with a self service side dishes and sauces buffet bar; and great service by the owners and his staff. Highly recommend if you are around the area!
Amy W — Google review
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences we had in Jeju! As foreigners, we weren’t very familiar with how to enjoy Korean BBQ properly, but the incredibly kind and attentive owner made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. She not only grilled most of the black pork to perfection for us, but also generously prepared a variety of fresh and delicious side dishes. She even demonstrated how to wrap the meat in lettuce with sauces and garlic — a truly authentic Korean experience. The black pork was incredibly flavorful, tender, and juicy — some of the best we’ve ever had. On top of that, we were surprised with complimentary watermelon and a can of soda at the end, which made us feel truly welcomed and appreciated. If you’re visiting Jeju and want to try black pork BBQ, this place is an absolute must. Great food, warm hospitality, and unforgettable service. Highly, highly recommended!

My family and I flew from Canada to Jeju and stayed on the island for eight days. On our very first day, the black pork at this restaurant became our very first meal in Jeju—and it absolutely did not disappoint. The sajangnim was incredibly accommodating, and the entire place felt very welcoming to tourists. During our stay, we tried black pork at other establishments, but we still found ourselves coming back here. In fact, within our eight-day trip, we ended up dining here twice for dinner. Unfortunately, on our last night—today, which happens to be a Tuesday—we had planned to eat here once more before leaving. To my dismay, I later discovered that they close every Tuesday. That one was on me; I didn’t bother checking the map or their schedule beforehand and just went straight there. When we return to Jeju, we will definitely be coming back here.

The restaurant owner is super nice to tourists. She is so friendly and always smile and be helpful. The price is reasonable and the food is nice. For small dishes and sauces, you could be self-service. We had a very nice dinner there. The background music is mostly from 90th k-pop. If anything could be improved, I may see the air conditioner could be cooler.

The London Bagel Museum is a popular bagel restaurant with branches in Seoul and Jeju. The cozy indoor interior and atmospheric outdoor tables provide a pleasant dining experience. Customers can enjoy choosing from a variety of bagels, making the experience fun and interactive. To avoid long waits, visitors can use the 'Catch Table' app for online waiting service, which allows them to check real-time waitlists for both takeout and indoor dining.
Be prepared for a long long wait. Came at 9am and had to wait for an hour but it was worth it! They have a wide variety of bagel flavours so I was really spoilt for choice. I ate the tomato herb bagel with bacon jalapeno cream cheese. The herb taste is really fragrant, pairing with the nice kick coming from the bacon jalapeno, it was really delicious! Also tried the garlic spring onion cream cheese whoch was good too and the lemon which was soso. They have a nice gift shop to do some shopping while waiting and cool off from the outside heat. Good service with the free self-service iced tea while you wait. Really good breakfast but not sure if i will queue 1hr for it...
Calvin T — Google review
Very long queue, best to reserve and then come back an hour later.. we went to eat at cafe next door and then walked by the coast while in wait. The honey cheese bagel and bacon potato bagel were very good. Not quite worth the wait but at least we tried! Great views of the ocean
Grace T — Google review
Not usually a bagel fan, but these were genuinely impressive. Soft, easy to bite, and almost donut-like in texture — pleasantly unexpected. Prices lean toward the higher side, though the portions make up for it. The cream cheese & spring onion bagel came generously filled, maybe even a touch too much, but still delicious. The cheese & honey bagel was also good, though the honey flavor could have shone through a little more. Overall, beautiful bagels that stand out and are well worth trying.
Nik — Google review
Visited London Bagel Museum in Jeju with high expectations, and while the food mostly delivered, the queuing process left a bit to be desired. The system felt disorganized and somewhat off-putting, especially with no shelter from the elements — a real issue on rainy days. I ordered the truffle bagel with cream cheese and bacon onion, and it was absolutely amazing. Rich, savory, and perfectly balanced — definitely the highlight of the visit. The matcha latte, on the other hand, was underwhelming and watery. Honestly, the free lemon mint water was more refreshing. I also grabbed a takeaway spring onion cream cheese bagel, which held up nicely and made for a delicious later snack. The interior of the bakery is stunning — thoughtful, cozy, and photogenic — a treat for the eyes and the camera. However, there’s room for improvement in how they manage customers post-meal. Those wanting to browse merchandise or get takeout after dining are asked to leave if they don’t have a queue number, which feels unnecessarily rigid. All in all, it’s worth a visit for the bagels alone, but a few operational tweaks could greatly enhance the overall experience.
Yvonne C — Google review
Pro tip. Come here get a queue number and go walk around for about 45min on a weekday . Massive selection so buy some to take home . Strongly recommend the truffle mushroom soup as well as the roasted spicy tomato very good . Bagels are just bread to me so you get very full after one but really kudos to the hype , the crowd and the service 👏. I liked my burger the most 😀
Amos T — Google review
Their bagels are truly amazing. Every flavours are very unique and every pieces are big, one bagel even without fillings are good enough for 3 hours. The signature, Brie and sesame bagel is a must to order. The cheese inside is amazing to go with a honey spread on top sesame bagel itself is plain and chewy. Pumpkin bagel with real pumpkin fillings in inside, which is actually quite heavy. Tried the blueberry flavour, but this is a little disappointing as it has frozen blueberry inside coated with some honey that’s too heavy. Ice latte is good. The whole decoration is amazing is truly the unique UK style
Skye C — Google review
Great bagels but it’s really too crowded. Make sure you reserve your spot either dine-in or take-out on your way so you don’t wait for hours. We came at 4pm one day and everything is sold out. Generally nice place to enjoy a bagel. Cream cheese tastes good too!
Joyeuxvoyage — Google review
You can join the queue via the link from Naver line app. Search London bagel musuem and there's a link there. We waited for around 1hr on Sat Lunch time. There is such a huge variety of bagels available here. Savoury and sweet types are available. Id highly recommend getting the plain versions and the cream cheese to dip. Cafe Knotted isn't famous for nothing. Its decor and donut is definitely lived up to its fame. The cream donut is really good, the cream was light and not overly sweet. No doubt everyone want their donuts. Since the cafe is in Jeju, they really take advantage of the location and making the ground, cafe knotted theme. This location is also perfect for a cafe hopping afternoon as you have many other choices to hop to in a walking distance. Fyi, there are separate line/area for order take out and dine in.

Quite a big queue, but very efficient and moves quickly. Things do get sold out and intermittently come back in stock. The Jeju special is the green tangerine one. The cream is light and not too sweet, very soft doughnut. Make sure to eat shortly after as I don't think it will last very long.

The scones were quite enjoyable, and the drinks paired well with them. My favorite has to be the coconut latte, although the strawberry latte was also very refreshing. You could really taste the actual strawberries—nothing like cough syrup!
Anson W — Google review
Stunning views, friendly staff with an English drinks menu. Scones (~ ₩4500) and coffee were amazing! Coffee was fragrant and well poured. Tried the plain and chocolate chip scones, both were light and buttery. Especially loved the plain one which had a sugar crust, served with whipped butter and strawberry jam. Even bought an extra one on our way out for the road. Parking was easy, plenty of space just outside the cafe along the road.

Stopped by for coffee before a long Jeju road drive. The place is perched atop little uphill and oversees the sea. Very nice. The exterior is rather cold industrial red brick walled situation. Heavy on concrete beams and walls. Inside, wood takes a more prominent place. Dark wood flooring and wooden slatted ceiling throughout enhances the natural and earthy tone. A mini forest in the centre with a glass roof allows for a blend with nature and the space opens up brightly thanks to large windows the glass roof, especially in the corridor space with the tropical plants. Nice touches of Korean culture with the paintings and frames traditional fabric. We got a honey grapefruit black tea and a jeju matcha latte. Felt a bit peckish and got a scookie as well.

We were excited to try their famous snacks and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The cafe itself was really charming, with a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing design. We loved the beautiful decor and the relaxed atmosphere. It's definitely Instagrammable, with plenty of opportunities to capture some beautiful photos. We decided to try some of the snacks that were recommended in the Little Red Book. The cafe didn't have samples, so we had to buy a box first to try them. We bought a little box of 6 pieces which came with peanut flavour, matcha flavor, and chocolate flavour. The snacks didn’t quite live up to the hype we’d seen on the Little Red Book. They were okay, but not the "wow" factor we were expecting. The price was also a bit on the expensive side. The cafe even has a little souvenir shop, where we found some fun Jeju-themed gifts.

MAEUM EON is a charming and unique cafe located in Jeju, with a small hanok house that exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers varied and delicious desserts, while the vintage-style ambiance adds to the appeal of this hidden gem in Jeju.
The most beautiful cafe with amazing atmosphere. The drinks were delicious, and it was a lovely break in the middle of the day.
Mika Y — Google review
The atmosphere of the café is very calming and cozy, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. The coffee and green tea we ordered were decent. We arrived early in the morning, and it was just us, so it felt peaceful. However, our experience with the service was disappointing. The person at the cashier greeted us politely in Korean, but when we responded in English, she rolled her eyes and her attitude changed noticeably. After that, the treatment we received felt cold and unfriendly. Shortly after, a local customer came in, and the difference in how she interacted with them was very obvious—much more welcoming and warm. I understand this café might receive a lot of tourists, but I don’t think that justifies the shift in treatment. We were polite, and I don’t think we should have been treated differently just because we weren’t locals.
N S — Google review
We got two drinks and chilled here for a bit. It's in the shopping area (area is kind of empty as many shops are closed). The drinks were pretty standard. Lots of people come here so it can be hard to find a spot
Stephanie — Google review
The place is quite easy to miss as the entrance is really tiny! I first noticed a cat eating beside the shop, and the same cat then strolled right into this café — it felt like it was saying, “Follow me, human, I know where the caffeine is.” It was quiet on a Monday morning, which we absolutely loved. English menu is available, and you order at the counter and return your tray there after. We had two drinks and a pound cake — my usual latte and my husband’s Green Tea Barley Latte. His drink was very milky and nutty — not really my thing, but he liked it. The sesame pound cake was slightly chilled and so good, especially the top layer with the icing and sesame seeds — perfection! Our total bill came up to 16,500 won.
Tan. W — Google review
Easy to miss, hard to find traditional style cafe serving coffee and fusion lattes (non caffeinated) and Korean desserts. In the heart of the city, it is such a delight to have a place like this to chill. Great earthy atmosphere and service. The wheatgrass latte had mild sweetness that balanced the bitterness and milk certainly harmonised the flavours. The floral tea was good too.
Syd R — Google review
The entrance of this cafe is easy to miss. You go through a small door which almost feels like an back alley overgrown with plants, but the stone path gives you a clue that the plants aren’t here by chance. You follow the stone path into a quaint little cafe of perhaps ten tables, with each one meticulously set up for a window plant view or ornaments of sorts. Looking at the menu and the display at the counter, you can tell that this place has every detail so intricately planned by the owner. The owner was very kind and friendly, and spoke English. Perhaps as a non Korean, I cannot properly appreciate the traditional bites, but the coffee was good. Overall, this place is a mystical break from the hustle and bustle in the streets outside, and if you want to take a break from sneakers shopping, this is the cafe to be in.
Eugene H — Google review
An inconspicuous café which meekly lures you in with nice narrow garden. But once inside, you discover a whole new world. Love the garden and greens, love the traditional-modern fusion interior, love the coffee, love the music, love the friendly owner. Just a tad disappointed that the pretty pastries did not taste as good as it look.

It offers a fantastic sea view and is known for its delicious scones, making it a must-visit spot in Jeju. Located near the London Bagel Museum, it can get quite busy on weekends due to its popularity.
Originally I am waiting the other bagel cafe, as the waiting time of bagel cafe is long and there is no special tourist point nearby so I came in for a snack/ tea, surprisingly taste good! Plain scones, Spring Union Cream Cheese scones and Cheese cakes are good, but the milk tea is too sweeten to me. Worth to visit here again!

The hallabong tea is great. Raspberry scones turned out well too. A bit crowded with lots of influencer shooting every corner of the cafe. Would be nice to have a quiet place to enjoy drinks and pastry.

The view is lovely and it's nice that the staff get to enjoy the view while working. It's an open kitchen so we get to enjoy the view looking past the staff dressed completely in white. We ordered cream latte, cappuccino, vanilla latte and iced chocolate and ate coconut scone and chocolate banana cake. The food was good. I had the cream latte myself which had a thick layer of cream on top of very strong coffee. It was a little too strong for me. I preferred the sip of vanilla latte which my lovely wife shared with me.

Very IG worthy cafe on the northeast side of the island known for their scones of various flavors and toppings. They also offer both coffee as well as non-coffee based drinks.

Cafe Layered in Jeju is undeniably a visual delight. The decor is thoughtfully curated—vintage, cozy, and full of charm, making it one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes I’ve visited on the island. I dropped by for a latte and took away a raspberry scone, which was delightfully buttery and just the right amount of tart. Their pastry selection, from cakes to scones, looks absolutely divine and is clearly baked with care. However, the overall experience was slightly marred by the overwhelming presence of social media influencers. Many were using the best seats as personal photo studios, rearranging props and dominating spaces for extended periods. It made it difficult to fully relax and soak in the cafe’s atmosphere, which is unfortunate given how magical the setting could have been. That said, the staff was polite, and the coffee itself was smooth and well-balanced—definitely worth a stop if you’re a latte lover. I recommend going during off-peak hours if you want a more serene experience. This cafe has a lot of potential to be a peaceful, memorable spot, especially if you enjoy charming decor and freshly baked treats.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful treat, look no further than Udo Peanut Dessert. This indulgent creation showcases the renowned Udo peanuts from Jeju, blending their rich nutty essence with a smooth cream and sweet sticky caramel. Each bite offers an exquisite combination of crumbly texture and toasty peanut flavor that melts in your mouth. Pair it with some refreshing mango juice for an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of this beautiful island!
Very delicious ice cream and fresh mango juice
WAI N — Google review
The peanut cake is aesthetic and instagrammable.... But it doesn't actually taste like peanuts or have peanut in it😂😂😂😂 the ice cream is vanilla ice cream. would not recommend
Alana — Google review
Had some ice cream with peanut toppings. Nice view of port.

The Hallabong Experience Farm offers a unique opportunity to explore the cultivation of sweet, seedless mandarin oranges on Jeju Island. These citrus fruits are highly popular throughout South Korea and are known for their distinctive shape and flavor. Additionally, plans for a chocolate berry farm and processing plant add an exciting dimension to the experience.
