Tuscan restaurant
Cibrèo Ristorante, established in 1979, is a unique Italian dining experience that combines modern innovation with traditional roots. The restaurant offers a refined menu featuring dishes like sformato di patate e ricotta and timballo di tortellini, attracting locals from the art, intellectual, and food scenes.
Managed a last-minute booking and so glad we did! The service was lovely, the menu well-curated, and the food of great quality. The warm, lively atmosphere made the experience even better. Would happily return!

Noemi’s team was absolutely incredible! Their warm welcome and professionalism made our visit even more memorable. What started as just a meal turned into an amazing culinary experience. The flavors, the presentation of the dishes, and the attention to detail were simply perfect. A big thank you to the entire team for this exceptional moment! I highly recommend it without hesitation! Just consider the price is according to the full experience and place.

When we decided to visit Italy, we made a special stop in Florence for one reason, to dine at Cibreo. We were lucky enough to get a reservation for our last night in the city, and while I wouldn’t call it fate, it truly felt like the perfect ending to our time in Florence. From the moment we stepped inside, we were surrounded by an atmosphere of beauty and intention. Every detail of the décor seemed designed to captivate the senses, setting the stage for what would become one of the most unforgettable meals of our trip. When our food arrived, it was hard to put into words what we experienced. Each dish was so thoughtfully and masterfully executed that the only thing I could do was close my eyes and savor the incredible flavors dancing across my palate. From our table, we had a direct view of the kitchen, and it was like watching an orchestra in perfect harmony, each movement precise and graceful. The same sense of artistry carried into the front of house, led by a truly remarkable woman named Cristina. Cristina, even with a full house, you made every single guest feel as though they were the only one who mattered. Your warmth and grace made the evening feel truly magical. If you ever find yourself in Florence, treat yourself to Cibreo. It will be the best meal you have in the city. And if you cannot make it to the main restaurant, stop by the café. The tagliolini is the best I have ever had, and it is no surprise that this dish was named among the 25 best Italian pasta dishes by The New York Times.
Nenasalsera80 — Google review
A true and authentic Italian restaurant and that while it’s known by tourists it’s the locals place to go. Food is 5 stars. Wine is so incredible. You will not regret. Oso Bucco is the best.
Britts T — Google review
The food was good. The service was not. I have not experienced a less warm welcome or dining experience in all of Italy than I did here. The staff failed to even execute offering a second glass of wine to my wife and I. It was bad enough that one member of the party thought the wait staff just didn’t like us and wasn’t willing to serve us like other customers. I wish I would have gone somewhere else- but at least the food saved the experience. I would choose any of the hundreds of restaurants that can cook just as well but treat you well - especially at this price point.
Chris G — Google review
This was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in Italy! Almost everything we ordered was completely tasteless. How is it possible to find a better vitello tonnato in Brussels than in Florence? My starter of prawns with cocktail sauce was the only decent dish — though it’s hard to go wrong with prawns and cocktail sauce! The mushroom fish, on the other hand, was completely bland, with watery beans and a nearly raw, unseasoned mushroom. I lost my appetite so much that I didn’t even feel like trying dessert.

Delicious! A very unique and flavorful menu. We absolutely loved everything we tried!
Allison A — Google review
Splendid Friday fine dining experience in this exquisite restaurant which is traditional and non-traditional at the same time. We went there for the pigeon which I had there around 4 years ago, but I had overlooked that pigeon is a seasonal product. Now we had some magical fish surprises in the form of shark, cuttlefish and amberjack, which all went very well with the biological Trentino Brusafer light Pinot Nero - with big thanks for the suggestion of the very kind and knowlegable sommelier. What abnice way to start the weekend!

Authentic Japanese restaurant
Restaurant
Il Cuore is a Japanese restaurant that has been open for five years, offering traditional Japanese cuisine with a focus on attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. The menu features reworked traditional dishes such as fried chicken marinated in soy sauce, chirashi-zushi, and Wagyu sirloin steak.
Wonderful experience here in Florence! Super legit Japanese restaurant with authentic dishes. The staff are so kind and very professional and polite. Even though there were some English barriers, they communicated very well and provided amazing service. Highly recommend this place if you want to take a pasta break and have some traditional Japanese food!
Angeli L — Google review
After craving something non-Italian, we were thrilled to find this dog-friendly Japanese restaurant right next to our hotel. The floor manager, Tarou, was warm and hospitable. We tried a variety of dishes—an appetizer of four seasonal vegetables, Bara Chirashi, toro sashimi, and chicken karaage—but the fatty salmon sashimi and miso soup were the real standouts. Highly recommended!
Sabrina P — Google review
We had a lovely meal and evening at Il Cuore. Tarou was incredibly knowledgeable and able to explain the provenance and history behind the dishes to us in both Japanese and English (he could have done so in Italian, but would have been no help to us!). The food was delicious, some of the best Japanese food I have had outside of Japan. A highlight was the pickled vegetables (漬物), which were rare to see on a menu and a real treat. The chef also came out to chat with us at the end of the meal and was a lovely lady, it really has made our trip. Wonderful all round.
Thomas W — Google review
This was by far the best meal of our entire time in Florence, maybe even our lives! Tarou treated us so kindly and shared incredible details about the food with us as we ate, while guiding us through the menu and sake pairings! When we made the reservation we were confused about the availability of the o-toro and when we were sad to have missed it, he made sure we got to try it regardless. Needless to say, we had a wonderful experience! Don’t miss the udon, or dessert as they were other stand outs from our meal that we would come back for if we could! The ambiance was delightful as well with jazz covers of ghibli soundtrack faves the entire night!
Madeleine R — Google review
We had a really wonderful dinner. An authentic and personal experience. The decor made me feel like I was really in Japan. The food was fresh, it was light but filling and extremely tastey. We had a silver service by an exceptional restaurant manager named Teruo. I will be coming back here 100%
Gabrielle P — Google review
One of the best Japanese restaurant in Florence. The quality of the food is very high, it taste like you're actually in Japan. Very beware to the details of the presentation and the combinations of flavors. We tried kokoro menu with sake tasting. Can't wait to go back!
Babi D — Google review
10/10 cannot rate highly enough! Without a doubt, the best culinary experience I’ve had in my life so far. Immediately on entering, the ambiance nearly made me forget I was in Italy, and they blended the interior decor with the construction of the existing Italian structure so well. Shortly after being greeted and seated by Tarou, the profoundly hospitable floor manager, I accidentally knocked a small glass dish off the table with the corner of my menu. I believe it was Megumi who, rather than admonishing me for my mistake, also greeted us with a smile while cleaning up the glass and making sure everything was alright. She was so delightful it helped me feel comfortable again after my blunder. We shared the Miso soup, the Udon with pork belly, the unbelievable gold-flaked O-toro, Tatsuta-age (fried chicken), and Dorayaki all paired with Sake and Sapporo with a final digestive to top everything off. Each, in their own different way, was perfect. Tarou guided us through the meal, providing interesting information about the history and craft behind each course. It’s evident everyone involved puts their care and knowledge into every detail of the experience. My only complaint is it had to come to an end. I wish the whole team the very best and I’m grateful to be one of their fortunate guests.

This is my favorite japanese restaraunt in Florence. My favorite is the dessert one, ice cream and warabi mochi with Kinako. The food is amazing in any dish. I visited several time and the stabdard is alway the same. It is better to have a reservation before you go to make sure you will have the seat.

Il Gusto di Xinge is a trendy restaurant in Florence, founded by Xin Ge Liu, a former fashion professional from China. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its vibrant decor and an eclectic mix of Chinese and Tuscan cuisine. The menu features creatively presented dishes such as pork and Tuscan-truffle-stuffed Sheng Jian Bao, along with experimental craft cocktails that combine Chinese and Italian flavors.
XINGE appeals to the eyes before the mouth- the interior of the restaurant is a lovely fusion of spaceship and traditional Chinese architecture, and the food itself is no less impressive. Everything was extremely appealing and delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is a great place, and I highly recommend checking it out. Do follow their Instagram as well.

One of the most incredible dining experiences I have ever had. They are on the Michelin list but I think that doesn’t describe how wonderful, inventive, and chic this establishment is! They truly deserve a Michelin star or two or three! Food, vibes, cocktails, staff, all incredible.
Adri — Google review
This place lacks substance but trying way too hard to be Pop… I definitely appreciated the attentive service, but my overall experience was deeply underwhelming. The restaurant’s aesthetic leans heavily into trendy, "pop" sensibilities, but the execution lacks cultural authenticity and culinary finesse—resulting in dishes that feel gimmicky rather than thoughtfully crafted. - Bao: The dough was unacceptably thick—reminiscent of pizza crust—completely overpowering the filling and betraying the delicate texture expected of proper bao. - Dong Po Rou (东坡肉): A shocking misstep. The braised pork was dry and choking, lacking the melt-in-your-mouth richness this classic dish demands. Even a humble Hangzhou eatery’s version (my previous benchmark for "worst") was vastly superior. - 烤麸 (Braised Wheat Gluten): Overwhelmingly salty, with the artificial aftertaste of canned preservatives—no depth or balance. - Misguided "Dream of Red Chamber" Theme: As a person who once dis a PhD in Hong Lou Meng, I was baffled by the inclusion of lychee (a fruit, not a cooking ingredient in the text) and lobster (never mentioned in the novel). This feels like a superficial attempt to capitalize on literary prestige without genuine understanding. The service team deserves praise, but the kitchen and concept need urgent reevaluation. Authenticity isn’t about ornate decor or name-dropping classics—it’s about respect for technique and tradition. Currently, this feels like a hollow pastiche.

Unbelievable and unique. Food was awesome and so was the service. Highly recommend. If you want to experience something different with some familiar flavours book here.
David B — Google review
Italian/Western/“modern” twist on fine dining Chinese cuisine. Very strong artistic direction in the food, experience and interior design. The staff are excellent and it is clear that every dish, and moment is passionately cared for. I had ‘meat’ tasting menu with tasting wine. Wine pairing in line with the creative concept. An excellent experience with also a creative sense of humour. Highlights for me, beef muscle starter (long cook Chinese spice beef with modern start twist) , (gold) soup dumpling and the fun candy inspired Yoyoi Kusama salad - the latter paired with a tuscany mango-peach white wine. For me personally as an asian, I would like to see stronger chinese confidence in the flavours - it is there but I think it can be bolder! I would guess the main clientele is not yet used to strong asian flavours + knowledge. I enjoy this tension however. “Ethnic” food is always some form of negotiation. Deserving of a Michelin star. Much enjoyed thank you very much! Go support this inspiring woman of colour owned business 🌸
Reishin W — Google review
This restaurant is a real gem in Florence. It is a Modern creative Chinese Experience. The tasting menu pairing with cocktails will be blow your mind. The Chef is so pasionate, the whole experience was incredible. Highly recomended.
Juan M — Google review
As interesting as it is for a couple of Americans to travel to Florence to eat a dim sum tasting menu, there were absolutely zero regrets. Everything from the atmosphere, taste and service were perfect. I love how the chef came to our table and spoke about her childhood and how it inspired the dishes. You can definitely feel a child like nostalgia come out from the presentation. Everything was incredibly playful. I went into this experience with not having a pallet for sea food, and I am happy to say this changed it for me. This restaurant made me LOVE seafood. The highlight was definitely the sea bass and the sea urchin bao which I would’ve never believed to say before. If you are in Florence, this is definitely a must try. Congratulations for making it on the Michelin guide and I cannot wait to watch the restaurant grow in popularity.
Zachary S — Google review
One of the more interesting Michelin awardees that I have experienced this trip. The setting is elegant and the concoction of Chinese dim sum-inspired dishes (360 degree Fantasy tasting menu) is nothing less than fun and invigorating. The owner is hospitable and a casual chat revealed that she was in fashion industry, which explains the coutour-ish food presentation. The cocktail pairing is great but I presume Chinese tea pairing would be exquisite! Service is impeccable and we all had a wonderful evening at the dining table.

Dim Sum offers a unique fusion of Tuscan and Cantonese cuisine in a contemporary setting. The friendly staff welcomes guests with bubbles as they explore the extensive menu featuring mouth-watering dim sum options from Peking and Hong Kong. While the wine list is predominantly Italian, the food is purely Cantonese, offering homemade noodles, steamed dumplings, and other traditional dishes. The restaurant's Chinese-Italian fusion utilizes fresh local ingredients to create a diverse array of flavorful dishes.
Went here twice for lunch while on vacation. Both times we ordered the vegetarian noodles (in broth or made as stir-fry) as part of the lunch specials. It came with hot tea, water, and espresso after the meal. The price was really reasonable and the hand-pulled noodles were delightful to eat- just the right "al dente" and seasoned really well. The restaurant was beautifully appointed and elegant. As vegetarians, it can be difficult to find delicious food while traveling but this place was ideal.
APRIL B — Google review
I had the pleasure to celebrate a family birthday dinner at Dim Sum and the experience was wonderful, a kind lady selected a well located table in their main salon, which is perfectly decorated with ceiling frescoes, pleasant din light and and clean table arrangement with tea pot offered once seated. We had seaweed, shrimp and pork meat dumplings, delicious Thai sauce spaghetti, a hot spicy sauce broth with vegetables, noodles and dumplings, which was amazingly good. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products offered in the menu. I will be a regular customer!!

Best Dim Sum in Florence. Was amazing. We ordered multiple varieties and they were all awesome. I will definitely come back. Staff was very nice and quick service. Our waitress Chiara was so good at explaining all the dishes, very nice. Thank you for the best experience.

Good tasting fusion Chinese food though not authentic tasting, it was a great place to visit. The ingredients are well made and seasoned.

This is a very beautiful restaurant however the service was very slow, the food good. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting options, I’d recommend sitting in side the restaurant is beautiful, the outside looks basic but the inside is aesthetically pleasing especially the restroom/bathroom. I have never seen a restaurant with such a beautiful restroom.
Ameliah M — Google review
Me and partner had 6 types of dimsum to share, food taste ok ! For someone that lived in China for 6 years the food lack of taste. It’s ok but not wow! Ha gao skin too thick and with polpo it doesn’t taste good. The art of eating Xiao long bao is poke a hole drink the soup first but the xiao long bao here quiet dry.. guotie not enough grilled Sichuan sauce okay lack of “mala”maybe to adjust with local taste. Employees sounds Filipina/o not chinese but are friendly and fast worker

I had the vegetarian ravioli which is basically dumplings and sautéed vegetables. The vegetables were very well spiced however the ravioli lacked taste and the dips - the soy one was too salty and the other one was spicy but lacking some zest. They charge 3 euros for the dining service as a fixed price.

Japanese restaurant
En Cucina Casalinga is a cozy trattoria located in the heart of Florence, offering an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine. Despite its small size, the restaurant recreates the traditional izakaya atmosphere with bright colors and typical objects adorning the walls. While it doesn't serve sushi or sashimi, this passion project of four friends offers a unique selection of dishes including stuzzichini, street food plates, fritti, and rice bowls.
What a delightful Japanese eatery! The cozy, bright interior created such a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly, lifting up the mood for everyone around. While we were choosing what to order, we were served a warm and flavorful miso soup, which was a very nice gesture. We’ve decided to take the degustation menu (omakase), and everything was so mouthwatering that I completely forgot to take pictures before diving in! The menu began with a trio of appetizers: a mix of edamame, seaweed salad, and a ginger salad, followed by takoyaki (perfectly crispy octopus balls), a variety of gyoza, and Japanese-style fried chicken (karaage). For our main dishes, we chose gyu-don and katsu-don, both of which were packed with rich flavors. It was truly a pleasure to eat there. By the end of the meal, we were completely full and satisfied. If you’re craving a Japanese dining experience, this is the place to visit.

A hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of Florence. Tried the tempura udon and katsudon. Miso soup was complimentary and it was home made and fresh. Refreshing, intense flavours and not boiling hot. Miso soup should not be boiling. The dashi and bonito really shines through in both dishes. Tempura was crisp, had a bite to it and well seasoned. The green teas were good and fragrant, like it should be. Very tasty dishes. The host and chefs are great, kind, and fun. A great place to eat and enjoy the end of Friday. The place was full when we left. A strong 5🌟
Nel C — Google review
A very cozy place with great seating arrangements. However, The owner did seem a bit judgmental and wasn’t welcoming. Besides that the food was subpar and the quantity was very small. Reused oil which lacked freshness and soggy rice. No spicy condiments but they had a spicy mayo. Omakase has a different meaning here.

If you like ramen - this is your place to go. It was incredible good!
Tessia K — Google review
The place has a really nice and homy vibe. The service was fast and good, the server was attentive and the restaurant offers complementary miso to every guest, as well as a tris of mini appetizers. The lunch menu costs 15€ and you have a choice of a main and a starter. We got the takoyaki, which were awesome, and the vegetarian curry, which was tasty but a bit monotonous. The dessert were 5€ each and were good, but next time I would personally skip them. The matcha cheesecake was tiny for the price, the ice cream mochi was not great. Overall very nice.

Great tasting freshly made Japanese food, cozy place, very friendly and welcoming owner! Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a great meal and a pleasant experience! So glad that we stopped here for dinner! Lorenzo (if I remember the owners name correctly) offered his help to us first-time Florence tourists multiple times, offered his phone for wifi/hotspot, called a taxi, and went out of his way to help with what he could. Highly recommend stopping by here!

Adorable outdoor seating next to the Sant’Ambrogio market. You get a miso soup with your welcome, and a sort of plum (liquor?) at your goodbye... which was soooo good, btw! We got the plate of ‘assaggi’ for 23€/head and that way we got a taste of about everything on the menu... each with a thoughtful, creative presentation. Ciblèo - Tortelli e Ravioli is a unique dining experience in Sant'Ambrogio, offering a fusion of Tuscan and Asian cuisine. Renowned chef Fabio Picchi has combined his passion for Japanese and Korean flavors with traditional Tuscan dishes to create an innovative menu. The intimate space accommodates only 20 guests, so reservations are essential.
From the beginning till the end of the delicious food session everything was absolutely perfect. Each dish is well thought out by the Japanese chef, who knows everything about both the Japanese cuisine and the Italian cuisine, making perfect fusion dishes. Absolutely recommended and we will come back here again!

After watching Tucci in Italy and realizing Florence was on our itinerary, we knew we had to try Cibleo – Tortelli e Ravioli. As a huge fan of Asian cuisine, the idea of an Asian-Tuscan fusion spot in the heart of Florence was too intriguing to pass up. Every dish was crafted with intention and creativity—combinations I never would have imagined, yet they worked beautifully. The standout for me was the pork belly tacos. They had just the right amount of heat and were incredibly well balanced. We also opted to add the bao buns to our course, which were equally fantastic—pillowy soft and packed with flavor. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar, right in front of the chef, who walked us through each dish as it was prepared. It turned a great meal into a truly memorable experience. Amazing food, thoughtful fusion, and a personal touch—definitely a highlight of our trip.

Highly recommend the tasting menu and experience here. We enjoyed sitting at the bar to watch the chefs. High quality ingredients and good flavors. Excellent service and suggest making a reservation. Unique mix of Japanese and Tuscan flavors. Outdoor seating also available.

This is one of the best meals of my life. Every course was perfectly balanced and unique! It’s a completely different experience than the rest of Florence, but that made it special. I still cannot believe we had a 7 course tasting for 50€! We would highly recommend visiting after experiencing Florence for a few days. That gave us time to try the local dishes and better understand the fusion and nods to Tuscan foods!

What a fantastic evening! I was here alone and had dinner at the bar. You’re immediately made to feel comfortable. Enjoyed 7 delicious courses, each with its own explosion of flavors. Highly recommended: add the Gyozas to your menu. There’s an excellent selection of great Sake! Tip: order the No. 315. Compliments to the staff, who are also super friendly. Gr. Luuk

We did the lunch tasting menu because that’s all we could squeeze in. Everything was great. My wife doesn’t eat red meat and the chef accommodated her. Wish we could’ve tried the dinner menu.

A must do for an extraordinary experience of the tasting menu here. Staff were kind and generous despite being a full house. It was great to have a tasty and well thought out non Tuscan meal in the middle of a 4 week trip in Italy. Highly recommended.
Mony S — Google review
I made a purposeful detour to Florence just to experience the tasting menu after seeing Ciblèo showcased on Stanley Tucci’s show, and was terribly disappointed. From the first bite, I was not impressed. The only 2 dishes I enjoyed were the brisket taco and the dessert. Even the additional add-on of shrimp gyoza was not great- too doughy with minimal flavor. The restaurant has had recent staff changes, so this may be why results fell short of expectations.

One of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. We got the 24 piece boat. The boat had every type of raw sushi you could possibly want. Oyster, scallop, shrimp, shrimp roll, salmon, tuna, swordfish, presentation was the very best. Price was definitely right on.

I am from East Asia. Here I had the best Sushi and Sashimi in Firenze. The sauté shrimps and tempura shrimps are amazing. The owners were very friendly, and the service was great. The restaurant that I definitely would like to come again.

My first evening in Florence, Italy, couldn't have been more memorable, all thanks to the incredible hospitality at Wabi Sabi. As a newcomer to the city, I found myself stranded without a taxi to return to my hotel after a delicious dinner just before closing time. The owner, embodying true kindness and generosity, not only called a taxi for us but also waited patiently outside until one arrived. The genuine care and consideration made me feel truly welcome in this beautiful city. I'm immensely grateful for the warmth and hospitality extended by both the owner and the staff. If you're looking for not just exceptional food but also genuine care and attention, thi is the place to be in Florence. Highly recommended!

Great Food and price. Amazing service.

To start, good service. Unfortunately I was put off by the meal. The rice used was not of great quality. Due to my own fault of not understanding Italian when I really should have been more prepared, I did not realise that there was an all you can eat option which may have raised my perception of the restaurant. That said, portioning of the eel and the taste of it left something to be desired. As mentioned previously, the rice was not good. I left feeling unfulfilled. Though that's of course a danger of eating Japanese food in Italy. Of course, I don't want to plainly bash the restaurant because I'm sure they take pride in what they do but I don't really have much else to say. Water was good.

Banki Ramen is a casual space in Florence that transforms into a perfect spot for lovers of Japanese culture and cuisine during dinner time. It offers classic ramen bowls, rice dishes, gyoza dumplings, and Japanese beer. The menu features various ramen variations such as Shoyu Ramen and Tsuke-Men. The restaurant started as a bar but expanded to serve wheat noodle soup accompanied by spicy miso, providing a treat for the palate.
A cosy, welcoming safe haven with affordable and delicious food! We came here wanting to escape the torrential rain and we were wowed with the hospitality and quality of the food. The wait-staff looked after us and even made an off the menu salad for me! The portions were generous and we genuinely felt like well cared for patrons rather than "just another tourist". If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed with the madness of the city centre, I'd recommend coming in here for good food and an authentic experience of Italian hospitality ❤️
Joy R — Google review
It’s located at a corner of the street and we nearly missed it coz the name is at the other side of the corner. From the main road, we thought it was a bakery as there were lotsa baked goods (something not very likely in a 🇯🇵 restaurant). 😉 but the outcome of the ramen taste is quite authentic (maybe not fully same as in 🇯🇵) but very acceptable quality. The menu is lengthy and needs some digestion before we can order 🤪 quite well patronised as there are crowds drifting in and out constantly. Service staff is polite and friendly 👍🏻 they can understand English which makes comm easier. 👍🏻
Ken N — Google review
I went there and tried their Shoyu Chasyumen combo with Meat Fried Rice and Gyoza. While the Gyoza is decent and meat fried rice is okay, the ramen is a bit lacking in term of flavor and the noodle itself is very basic. Having said that, for a ramen place in Florence, this might be your best bet. So, if you are tired of all those tratorria, bistro, pasta and pizza, trying this place aint bad at all (price is super affordable too)
Host23 G — Google review
we're craving for Asian food and were looking for Asian food near our hotel and found this place with pretty good rating. ordered the miso ramen which was just mediocre. taste-wise, can't compare to what we can get in Asia but it's pretty decent. the miso in the soup is not strong and would be better if the egg is not hard boiled. the gyoza is slightly better although the skin is a bit thick. not bad if you're looking for Asian food.

Came here for Shoryu ramen and I got a version of it. I have eaten ramen all over the world and this one was good. Strong shoryu broth, char shu was good and plentiful if you order the larger size. Ramen was al dente. I would have preferred bamboo shoots rather than beansprouts. Service was fine and quick. Don't forget it's a bar that also serve coffees and Italian food. The chef is from Japan 4.5🌟

So I came here extremely hungry and ordered a cold ramen to cool down from the summer heat, and everything was great until I got a very small portion of unseasoned bowl of raw ingredents. I was at least expecting a bit of cold soup as it was called a miso soup ramen, but instead there was only a small amount of soup at the very bottom, that I could not drink because it was too constrated. The food did not taste bad but I still got a bit shocked. The egg was a nice touch but the rest was a bit underwhelming and the noodles where undercooked. There was no line and the food came after a short wait so that was good. I was still hungry after eating but didn't want to order another hot ramen. 5/10

Impressione Chongqing in Florence, located near Mercato Centrale, is a popular spot for authentic Chinese cuisine. The extensive menu offers options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. It's recommended to arrive early to avoid long waits. Dishes like double-fried chicken with chili pepper and shredded pork with spring onions are highly praised for their delicious flavors and well-balanced spices. The eggplant dish is particularly recommended, along with the braised pork belly and dumplings.
Food is very authentic and boldly flavoured! So so happy to have found this place because it’s been a struggle without rice or asian soup! Felt so comforted eating the food and hearing people speak Chinese 😆 As a Singaporean Chinese, please come if you’re missing home! Their food really is comforting and it’s a great break from the sandwiches and pasta 🤭

Really delicious and authentic Sichuan cuisine. We needed a palate cleanse from all the creamy food and Chongqing definitely was that! The food was spicy, full of flavor and great wok! We recommend the beef fried rice, the stir fry beans, the sweet & sour fried shrimp and the stir fry beef. Some of the dish was a bit too salty but overall we really enjoyed the food here.

The restaurant is stunning, has AC and good service. All the staffs look nice and friendly. I’m not Chinese so cannot say they are authentic or not, but all dishes we tried are so good. Taste nice and flavorful. We even called 4 bowls of rice and came back to this restaurant the next day after the 1st try, bcuz the food were delicious. Must try!!!

A nice Sichuan-style restaurant. Since Chongqing used to be part of Sichuan, their flavors are very similar. After three days of eating meat and Italian dishes, we were really craving some Asian-style spicy vegetables. Every dish here went beyond our expectations. If you ever need Chinese food while in Florence, don’t forget to stop by this place

We love Italian food, but after a few days, we were craving something spicy—and Chongqing delivered. It’s some of the best Szechuan food we’ve had in Europe. We ate here twice for dinner and especially enjoyed the Sichuan fish and spicy sour fish. The Sichuan fish was rich, oily, and perfectly spicy, while the spicy sour fish was light, tangy, and refreshing. We also tried the Sichuan beef, mapo tofu, stir fried beef, and morning glory—all flavorful and well-prepared. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, bold Szechuan flavors while in Europe.

Hands down the best restaurant in Florence. Can’t believe I am saying a Chinese restaurant is the best restaurant in all of Florence but srsly, this place is good. Bentoro Firenze is a traditional Japanese restaurant in Florence that offers authentic and delicate Japanese cuisine. The name "Bentoro" is derived from "bento," which refers to the typical Japanese meal served in a box, prepared with care and love. Unlike other Japanese restaurants in the area, Bentoro Firenze stays true to original Japanese flavors. The dishes are delicious, with attention given to each ingredient for a purposeful taste experience.
The atmosphere is charming. This is a small pretty restaurant. The staff were helpful and spoke multiple languages. They have a small menu and the portions aren't large, but they were filling. The fish was very fresh. We didn't try the beef. The green tea sunday was surprisingly delicious. Note: this was one of the most expensive meals we had in Florence. Also, you need a reservation

Very different in a good way from Japanese restaurants running by Chinese, this restaurant is rather close to the original Japanese food. The dishes were tasty but in my opinion not enough for the price. Omurise was with lots of mushrooms which were not very good with shrimps. Ramen was good (still not as good as in Japan, but best in Florence). Sushi were yummy and fresh, very good service and beautiful place.

Nice new addition to our neighbourhood, a Japanese restaurant offering more elegant versions of traditional cuisine prepared with truly unique food (go find wagyu in our neighbourhood) and they can afford it since the cooks are Japanese indeed. The desserts are also very good.

Great traditional Japanese restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, lots of attention to all ingredients that come to each dish as everything is there on purpose and you can appreciate the taste of each single one. Recommend the lobster salad with apple and avocado for starter!

Again, I don’t usually do reviews but this is one of the best (and reliable) Japanese places in Florence. I’ve tried plenty of restaurants in New York, Japan, Europe, and South America and I think this one hits perfectly a balance of traditional and experimental. The food is not a run-off-the-mill Italian take on Japanese, but a wonderful spin on the ingredients of what makes Japanese food already so great. Highly recommend!

I use to go and order regularly since a couple of years... but I would not anymore; - the welcome is cold as ice, - looks like a food factory very unpersonalised, - food quality went down a lot. - decoration is nice and warm. It's a pitty. All you can eat for 30eur in a nice dinning environment, is that too ambitious?

During our stay in Florence the kids wanted a break from the delicious regional cuisine. We found Aji Tei and they were thrilled. Everything was fresh and delicious. As an asian that breathes and live travelling in Italy, can't be doing spaghetti and pizza the whole time. Chanced upon this place via chatgpt recommendation near our hotel and for an asian standard, its good. the services were fast and staffs were accommodative, though can be improved because the staff messed up 2 out of 5 orders, but it was sorted as it was a busy day in the shop, so it was acceptable.
VL H — Google review
The quality has gone down by alot. It used to be really good, no more. We were served tiny BROKEN soba noodle (very small like at the end of a packet, which is very unprofessional) when we raised the issue with the staff they will talk to chef and 10 minutes later, no response. my dish had salmon which was not fresh at all, honestly a lil unedable i left all the salmon behind in my plate. very dissatisfied, much better Japanese spots in town
Pari S — Google review
The menu is a bit fusion instead of the classic Japanese clean cut; many of the rolls have sauces and are crispy. For people who like more clean cuts, perhaps ordering nigiris or hosomakis is a better call, but if you like Japanese fusion it’s a good option. The service is great.
Eatinery R — Google review
Good food although quite pricey for the portion sizes. Quality and freshness of the food was phenomenal. But the spicy tuna was a little bit to spicy in my opinion because the spice overpowered the tuna taste so you would just taste that. But otherwise the flavors were quite good.

The food was refined, tasty and creative, it deserved 5 stars. (We didn't try desserts) On the other hand, the service was way too long...! What a pity and definitively not on the level of the quality of the food. As for the drinks, Pinot rouge is from a good Winnery (San Michele Appiano) but was served too warm (ambiant temperature in August around 28°). I'm sommelier in a Parisian palace and it's hard to be told it has 2 ways to be served (which can be true for some wines, not all though...) and more seriously not during summertime. Red wines of terroirs like pinots & gamay (light and young) are ideal around 14-16°c, otherwise it becomes a basic heavy fat taste. Such a shame and sacrilege for a good wine like this and with such good food...

Momoyama, established in 1998, was the first restaurant in Florence to focus on Japanese cuisine. The venue offers a blend of traditional and fusion dishes, showcasing the story of the Orient through creative reinterpretations. The minimal and modern decor complements the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura rolls, gyoza, udon, and chicken teriyaki.
My girlfriend and I needed to find a spot to have dinner due to an unexpected cancelation in a place nearby. Perhaps by luck or just coincidence, we found this restaurant and fell in love with the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The menu was quite varied, not just in meals but also drinks, cocktails, and dessert. We look forward to a second visit, definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant thus far in Firenze.

This place has a really modern cozy vibe. I would recommend you sit right outside of the garden if you're not a smoker a d do not like to smell smoke especially when eating. The service was on the slower side - the prices were definitely overpriced, but if you don't want Italian food you'll be willing to pay! The rock shrimp was delicious ( a little salty ). The elephant role was fresh!! Can't taste the fish which is great! They also had spicey mayo which I thought being in Italy was a plus!!!

Since 1994, it has been offering a wide range of traditional Indian dishes cooked using the Tandoori oven method. The menu features chicken, lamb, and pork infused with unique spices to create both spicy and mild flavors. The restaurant provides a warm and family-friendly atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals.
I first visited this restaurant over 10 years ago and since then, it has become my favourite Indian restaurant. Recently, my friends and I decided to have a night out and we chose India as our destination. It did not disappoint! The quality of the food is always outstanding, and the service is exceptional. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and experience it yourself! Oh! And don’t forget to order desserts!!

We are a family of Indian food lovers, the restaurant offers very high quality Indian food and a cute Indian atmosphere! Highly recommend to anyone who has not eaten at the restaurant to come and eat, we sat there for dinner and it was very fun. The restaurant is also very clean and you can also come as a group and eat.

The Chinese restaurant Arte d'Oriente - 东方城 Ristorante Cinese Firenze offers a fantastic dining experience with its spacious setting and pleasant atmosphere. The cuisine is delectable, featuring fresh and flavorful dishes that are not oily. What sets this restaurant apart is the owner's charming persona and attentive service. Furthermore, there is a helpful lady who provides excellent recommendations while her husband serves as the skilled chef.
Stylish oriental restorant. I ordered there several dishes (something with duck, beef on hot plate, chicken in hot plate and dumplings). All were perfectly made. The atmosphere was very enjoyable. I recommend it. I admit that it is not as cheap as other Chinese restaurants but in my opinion the additional price is worth it because you can see it in the ambient and the quality of the products.

Nice chinese restaurant, place is a beautiful. Ravioli standard with good price, their pancetta 回锅肉top! Reminds me of China! 🇨🇳!5 months in Italy so far the best chinese restaurant i have tried. For me only missing chilies but the lady told me next time i can asked for the chili oil from kitchen. Riso fritto also good can smell that burnt smell. Price is very good we only spent about 28 euro for two people.

Ordered through a delivery app, honestly so good and authentic. I come from Markham, Canada - a city renowned for some of the world’s best Asian cuisine; and this restaurant was genuinely some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, better than some restaurants back home.

The sushi restaurant Temakinho is a popular choice for diners in Florence, with a lively atmosphere and fresh cocktails. The food is also excellent, with variations on the menu that make it familiar but with a twist. Unfortunately, on one visit the restaurant was short-staffed and service was slightly slower than usual; however, this was swiftly resolved.
The portions are quite small, but the food is delicious. The poke bowl was small but very tasty, and the sushi was unique and nice too. The interior is beautiful as well. A tiny but pricey, but worth a visit!

I've never been in the restaurant, but I ordered twice. The package arrived in a very good conditions and well ordered. The menu is explained well and food is delicious. I highly recommend!

Friendly staff and freshly prepared food. I have been to Temakinho many times (in Milan). My first time in Florence was not a disappointment. The sushi is great as always and the cocktails too, as I have come to expect. It’s nice to see small changes in the menu between restaurants that make it familiar enough but with a twist. The restaurant was short staffed as a member of staff had to leave as she wasn’t feeling well. However, the staff on site managed the situation perfectly and service was great, as always.

Kebab shop
Egyptian restaurant
"I Re d'Egitto," which translates to "The King of Egypt," is a friendly eatery with a rich menu catering to both vegans and meat lovers. It offers authentic Egyptian dishes like falafel made from fava beans, kofta with Egyptian flavors, and desserts such as Konafa or Gollash. The place is known for its reasonable prices, generous portions, and clean dining environment.
This was a major pleasant surprise. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly young chap. You order like you're at a Subway, choosing the vegetables that you want added; the servings were generous, and the selection range was wide. If you're lazy to pick, you can even ask them to pick for you. With some sauce added, everything was wrapped up nicely, heated, and packed (either to dine in, or to go). Best part, the shawarma wrap was only EUR5.50. Cheapest meal for my entire trip. Only downside to enjoying this meal is how messy it may get, so make sure you have some wet wipes handy.

Visited on 8 June 2025 (Day 2/16) An amazing and timely find upon arrival in Florence. Located just a stone’s throw from the train station and right beneath my BnB, this spot was a pleasant surprise. The set menu prices seemed almost too good to be true—very affordable with generous portions and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The food was tasty, and there’s a cosy dining area at the back with warm decor and thoughtful renovations that added to the charm. Highly recommended for a convenient and satisfying meal in the city!

We had the chicken doner wrap at I Re d'Egitto and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and full of flavor, the wrap was fresh, and the portion was satisfying. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the service was fast. A great spot in Florence for a quick and tasty meal. Highly recommended!

I ordered a shawarma for €6.5, but they charged me €7.5 on my card When I pointed it out, they tried to brush it off I let it go because it wasn’t worth the hassle, but tourists should be careful! The food was also way too salty and honestly tasted terrible

Alfani 149 Restaurant is a great place to get Chinese food in Florence, Italy. The dishes are very authentic and the service is fast and good. The restaurant has a varied menu, so you can find something that fits your taste. Water spinach is definitely a must-try dish at Alfani 149 Restaurant!
Wow, highly recommend this authentic Chinese cuisine spot. We are a Chinese-Canadian family and came here twice in our trip because of how tasty and true the flavors are. A mix of locals and visitors here! Some dishes we recommend: the fried green beans, eggplant, the nian gao (fried rice cakes) is a must have (hard to make like this!). We also appreciated the you tiao (fried gluten) in the grandma’s fried noodles, unique and great! Vegetarian and vegan options were easy to find. The chef is clearly very skilled :) The staff are very friendly, accommodating to specific requests, overall wonderful atmosphere!

Quite alright for Chinese restaurant in Florence. They have a good mix of the usual Chinese food plus modern dishes such as mala xiang Guo. The taste were good but not wow . Mapo tofu and mala spicy very mild.

We came for a trip to Italy and along with the place, we fell in love with this chinese restaurant too. We ordered Grandma's fried rice, steamed chicken dumplings, ramen, gabao chicken and in-house red wine. Everything was heaven, very delicious and i felt it was worth every penny we spent. Highly recommended.

I'm Malaysian Chinese. I have ordered fried rice, pork ribs noodles and spicy fried chicken. The food is very authentic Chinese cuisine. To anyone sick of eating pasta, pizza and panini should give this place a try to satisfy the home sickness of Chinese food.

Was looking for different food after days of pizza / pasta and limited veg etc and Alfani 149 perfectly delivered. Nothing fancy just good, well-seasoned, generously portioned Chinese food - wonton soup was lovely and warming with lots of wonton for 3 people, sweet and sour pork as you'd expect, crispy pork ribs had a good spice to them, grandma rice was nice and you can't go wrong with the pak choi which came with tasty mushrooms.
Jen T — Google review
We ordered takeaway for 8 people. Food was fresh, packed well, delicious and incredibly well priced. We were really craving Chinese (and especially vegetables) at this point of the trip, and this really hit the spot! We ordered a large variety of dishes and really enjoyed all of them.
Sharon C — Google review
After several days of eating Italian food, we came here to have something Chinese to rebalance our palates. We ordered four dishes: a tomato and egg soup, stir-fried cabbage, fried Bee Hoon, and sweet and sour pork. Of these four, we liked the stir-fried cabbage the best. Just that it was too oily. It is good to tell the serving staff to reduce the oil in all the dishes you have ordered. The soup missed the mark on taste because the taste of the tomatoes couldn’t come through in the soup. So, it is more like an egg-based soup with the tomatoes served as decorations. The fried Boon Hoon could do better without the hard fried fritters getting in the way, and the sweet and sour pork tasted more like deep fried meat drenched in A1 tomato sauce. So food-wise, the taste needs improvement, especially when the Chef has more time to prepare the dishes for an almost empty restaurant. For these, I am giving the restaurant only 2 stars. Service-wise, it is okay. The serving staff was responsive, but was not making any kind of recommendations; just responding to our questions and need for clarifications about the items in the menu. For this, I am giving the service we have received only 2 stars. So, on average, for taste and service, the restaurant will get 2 stars from me. All in all, this place is a nice change go us in this trip. The staff is Chinese speaking and there are some Chinese speaking patrons dining at the restaurant, which made things homey for us. For this, I will give a bonus star. So, it is 3 stars for the Alfani 149 restaurant.

If you're wandering through Florence and find yourself craving a taste of Korea, look no further than Sapori di Korea. This charming eatery, run by a delightful husband-and-wife team, offers an authentic experience reminiscent of cozy Korean cafes. With a menu that caters to vegans and vegetarians alike, you can indulge in fresh dishes like their delectable tofu omelette or grilled dumplings—all at reasonable prices.
Everyone hits the point of the Europe trip when you need Asian food - and this place absolutely hit the spot. It’s ran by a husband and wife duo and they are serving great Korean food that is a great break from the delicious pasta we have also enjoyed.

If you want good and somewhat authentic south Korean food in Firenze, this is not the place. But if you are Asian and crave some Asian food after having too much Italian food, this will satisfy your craving slightly. The food we tried was very basic Korean style that any high school Korean student can do. There is no service, you order and pick up from the counter. The lady seems fierce but she is actually OK. Bottomline, don't go there for if you're looking for great Korean food, go only if you want some Korean taste to satisfy your craving. It's not that bad, it's just very basic Korean food.

I love having lunch here!! Dishes are fresh and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is #vegan, #vegetarian, #family, #friends -friendly. Self-service and quite casual. Prices are around 7-10€ per dish. One omelette made with fresh #tofu and vegetables is about €8-9 and 8 grilled dumplings are €9. Menu is available in Italian and English. Closed on Sundays.
Veronica V — Google review
Casual comfort korean food, place is very clean, nicely organized. It’s self service so no need to wait in line to get seated. Food was great and we cleaned our plate!

On our way to an Italian restaurant to grab lunch, we stumbled upon this and I liked the menu, we decided to skip Italian food this time and eat here. The korean lady, who's also the cook, came to take our orders, my friend isn't familiar with Korean cuisine so she inquired about some dishes and their ingredients, the lady looked annoyed and pointed to the list of ingredients in the menu. (We have dietary restrictions so we were just double checking and menus usually list only the main ingredients). We both ordered Udong, it tasted good, super warm for chilly March. We left as soon as we finished as we felt unwelcome. I'm giving 3 stars for bad service.

It is known for its high-quality KBBQ meat cooked over charcoal by attentive servers. The restaurant's ambiance and friendly staff contribute to a great dining experience. Customers praise the tender ribeye and marinated pork, as well as the unlimited banchan (side dishes).
Enjoy a good authentic Korean BBQ meal here at Hallasan! The food & service was great and impeccable. Pricing is a little on the high side but you get really good quality meats & dishes. Laura helped to BBQ & cook the meats for us and taught us how to eat them. When we asked for the “authentic” kimchi (which is more spicy and sour), they served us immediately! Would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing experience! Great quality food and superb service from Andy and his staff. First Korean BBQ I see with coal (instead of gas) way better taste. They even help you prepare the food and recommend how to eat it for an explosion of flavors. We came from Mexico and stayed 5 days in Florence, we just had to go eat here 5 days in a row, that's how good it is =). This became my favorite restaurant ever! So if you are in Florence, please do yourself a favor and go eat here, you will not regret it. Gamsahabnida Andy and Hallasan, see you soon! 앤디와 할라산, 고맙습니다. 곧 뵙겠습니다!

We had an outstanding Korean BBQ lunch in Florence. The marinated and non-marinated beef were both excellent - perfectly tender and flavorful. The meal came with a generous variety of Korean side dishes, all freshly made and full of authentic taste. Our waiter was fantastic, guiding us through the cooking process, helping to grill and cut the meat, and suggesting how to combine the flavors for the best experience. It was one of the most delicious and enjoyable meals we’ve had in Florence, highly recommended!

We had a spiritual experience eating the wagyu beef from both America (Snake River Farms) and Japan. They also suggested how to eat it (first with salt, then with salt and ginger, etc). Sides were so delicious we accidentally ate all of a couple of them before the meat came out. Such a delightful break from so much pasta.

I have had a week of great meals in Rome and Florence, and this might be my favourite one. I’m biased as I am Korean (Canadian), but this is in my top 3 k bbq restaurants all time. I am very surprised to find something of this quality and authenticity in Italy! Some items like the olive leaf side-dish is better than I have had anywhere else. The first time we had this one i was so impressed with the huge serving and the price was not that bad. The place was very unique and at the same time very homey. Let’s talk about the Dog ( ofcourse because i’m an animal lover) she was very quiet and very friendly. Theres 2 thing that i think they should improve, the place was very small in the inside but they also have some tables outside too. The other one is there menu, they have limited variety of foods. I think people would love to try more of their unique delicacy. But overall if you wanted piece of korea in the center of florence with top notch food and the hospitality of korean people y’all should try this one. ❤️

This cozy Asian eatery specializes in a delightful array of ramen dishes, allowing diners to customize their bowls with various soup bases and ingredients. While some guests have noted that the broth could use a bit more depth, many rave about the rich and creamy flavors that make each bowl enjoyable.

Broth was so rich and creamy. Flavours were spot on. Not bland and not overly seasoned. Truly enjoyed this bowl of ramen with fresh made noodles. I tried shoyu beef ramen, broth had a weird, not fresh flavor so I did not enjoy this meal. The noodles were good, eggs were good buy overall it was just not tasty ramen :( The place smells like fried oil, it’s not a cozy place, plain white walls and bright lights. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

Bogdan C — Google review
Awesome soup base, slightly bland for my wife but perfect for me. The ramen is slightly fusion, Chinese lamien with Japanese soup stock base. Furthermore the meat were just so good. Although I think the beef felt a little western due to the rawness, might be good to allow customers to choose it to be well done. Eggs could be marinated as well! All the other aspects were very well executed. Thanks for opening in Florence! I can’t take eating western food for so many days in a holiday…

We wanted to change the routine from Italian food, so we opted for Sushi, the service was great and the staff were welcoming, although it was hard to communicate with them as they don’t speak English, yet we managed to order a variety of sushis, the fish was fresh, yet the rice was dry and not very fresh, otherwise I would give them 5 stars.

This Japanese restaurant based in Tokyo's tradition of culinary innovation features excellent food and friendly service. Whether you're a veteran or new to Japanese cuisine, Yagura is worth a visit for an unforgettable dining experience.
Absolutely amazing, fresh food.

Me & my wife needed a break from the pasta & pizza & we luckily came across Yagura. We ordered takeaway & the food was delicious & everything from the Nigiri to the wasabi was fresh & rich in flavour. However, the older woman (who seems to be the owner) served us with extreme impatience. I have worked in the hospitality business before & I understand that busy nights are stressful but to unleash that on your customers regardless if they are eating in or out is embarrassing. We were rushed & rude comments like “hurry up” & “you should have told me from the start” were said which took us aback. I really hope the customer service is given more focus & for the woman to learn some restraint.

A good option, especially when you’re wanting a break from all the Italian food.

Spend your time and money somewhere else. The food here is poor and the service is lacklustre to say the least. There are dozens of better sushi places in Florence.
Oli P — Google review
Their sushi is fantastic and fresh. They have messed my takeaway order twice, but they have been super apologetic and offered a full new sushi platter on top of the one they made the mistake for. They always give me a free drink too. The lady is super nice and I always feel so welcomed.
Alana R — Google review
Ordered from deliveroo, €37.50 for three people to eat, we received approximately food for one person. Everything was VERY SMALL. Very disappointed, overpriced and tiny portions. Don't order sushi here, there is a place called "Da Kou" in Florence which does sushi, and you actually get filled up from one assortment of sushi, rather than still being hungry after ordering 6-8 different assortments. Terrible experience, please don't go to this place, save your money!

Honestly I never give any reviews but I wanted to let parents know that this was definitely not the place to bring kids. The staff was understaffed and they weren’t happy that my kid and my friend’s kids were sometimes bored because they took about 2 hours to bring all the food. Warning if u want to do the all-u-can-eat menu..

Food is tasty and the sashimi portion was generous for the money, however everything else was too small for the price and the size of the beef teppenyaki portion was beyond a joke, it was barely more than a mouthful. Sake was tasty and service was fine.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Japanese dining experience, look no further than Iyo Iyo. This charming little spot offers a limited but carefully curated menu that showcases the true essence of Japanese cuisine. The sushi here is nothing short of exceptional, with fish so fresh and buttery it melts in your mouth. While the restaurant may be small and doesn't take reservations, arriving early ensures you can savor their delicious offerings without a long wait.
Excellent sushi and sashimi. The staff is very friendly too. Just a heads up it is a small place.

Food was delicious but portions were quite small. Miso soup for example was €3 for a small bowl. We had okonomiyaki and lampredotto don. Yet to try the fish which looked good

I visited this restaurant at lunch time and there was a Japanese shop holder working. So the food was cooked with completely real Japanese style. If you don’t get satisfied with odd taste, I highly recommend to go there.
Ko K — Google review
This place struck us as quite peculiar. The restaurant looks a bit cheap classic italian, there was no music playing, the airco was too intense. The menu offers only a small selection of the classic sushi variants. Apart from the edamame beans, which weren’t very fresh, the sushi was very OK in terms of price and quality. Wouldn’t recommend this for a lovely night out with your spouse, but is OK for a quick tasty bite.
Mr. H — Google review
Sure it is cheap, but the options are incredibly limited. If you are looking for a place to try a few things, this is not the place. I would only recommend if you have a strong sushi craving and want to pick a couple of things just to satisfy the urge. What was there was good, but would not come back unless they double the amount of things in their menu.
Rodrigo A — Google review
Excellent sushi! The fish is like butter and Really flavourful. 8€ for 8 pieces of Futomaki is an average price. I tried to cheat the system because there is no vegetarian option, so I chose an okonomiyaki and thought I would tolerate the dashi, but was surprised that there was oktopus in it. It still was very authentic and tasted pretty similar to what I have had in Japan. I would totally recommend the restaurant, you get good food for a small price.
N D — Google review
A terrible attitude towards consumers. An unprofessional waiter makes me feel that I wasted my patience and politeness, money and time. Sushi is bad, it’s not fresh at all. I don’t think it’s a real Japanese restaurant, it’s more like an irony. Just fooling the Europeans who know nothing about Japanese food. By the way, I really doubt the authenticity of other praises.

San Tea House is a charming Taiwanese tea shop located on Via De Barbadori, just a short distance from Ponte Vecchio. The cozy and bright interior offers a perfect setting to enjoy a variety of bubble teas, including options with or without milk, as well as hot or cold variations. In addition to an assortment of bubble tapioca flavors, the shop also offers fresh fruit juices and snacks. Visitors can expect attentive and friendly staff who are passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
I love this place! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly and helpful if you’re indecisive like me. It’s also directly across from a laundromat so a big win-win if you need a place to drink something yummy while you wait. I really like the Jasmin milk tea and the ginger milk tea, especially with the salt foam on top 👌🏼👌🏼

I had such a wonderful experience at this tea café! The bubble tea was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, with rich flavor and chewy pearls made just right. You can tell they really care about the quality of their drinks. What made the visit even more special was the owner. So kind, welcoming, and genuinely nice — they made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer. It’s rare to find a place where both the product and the people shine, but this café has both. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great bubble tea and warm hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!🧋👍🏼

Inside it's so so cute and cozy, I was thirsty on a hot summer day while we were traveling and I stopped here. They serve bubble tea and it's very good, the jars are cute too and quite big, the staff is friendly and nice. There are some tables inside and everything is carefully decorated. I loved it!

Veeery good bubble tea! The tea has such a good taste, be it fruity or black! And the portion is good for the price.

I do not recommend ordering their milk teas instead just play it safe and order the fruit teas. I had the Hong Kong milk tea and although I kept my expectations low it essentially tasted like watered down milk. I tried to let the owner know how unpleasant it was but to no avail.

Love this place! The ambiance and presentation of the drinks is everything. I got the peach oolong tea with cheese foam (0% sugar). Absolutely LOVE the cheese foam! The owner was also super kind. The drink was definitely a life saver in the hot Florence summer weather.

If you find yourself in Florence, Italy, and suddenly crave a taste of Vietnam, look no further than Pho Pho Asian/Vietnamese Food. Tucked away behind a small Asian grocery store and Yi Fang, this hidden gem is worth the search. The pho here is nothing short of spectacular; its rich and flavorful broth will leave you wanting more. Pair it with perfectly crispy spring rolls dipped in a delicious nuoc cham for an unforgettable meal.
You feel like you’ve stepped into a real Asian spot — the atmosphere truly reminds me of Vietnam! Here you can try authentic Vietnamese food, and everything was absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the dessert — it’s a total bomb! And definitely try the Pho Bo — but be warned: the portions are huge, one person can eat so much they’ll need to lie down after 😄 We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you!
Valeria B — Google review
A very nice and modern place. I heard the owner is Chinese and runs all those brands, but I’m pretty sure the chef is Vietnamese because the food tastes just right. I loved the cơm gà - the sauce was perfectly light. The phở even came with fermented garlic, just like in Vietnam. The Vietnamese desserts were a bit too sweet for me as a Vietnamese, but my European friend really enjoyed them. Definitely worth trying the traditional drinks as well. And a special mention to the Vietnamese waiter, who was very kind and welcoming.
Khánh L — Google review
I had the Pho Tai Chin and I really liked it. Good big portion and the beef was tender and tasted good. Big plus for comfortable seats and good AC in the blazing heat summer day. The waiter was very friendly and explained the menu. You have to go through the Asian store to get inside. Unfortunately for me there is no Bo Kho on the menu but many other options.

Amazing, authentic, and flavorful food!!! If your soul craves for an asian cuisine--from the usual italian food, this is a must! The entrance is like a 7/11 mini-mart, but if you reach further that's where the gem is! Amazing ambience, looking forward to visit again soon

My husband and I have been craving pho for a while since we’ve been in Italy and this place is amazing. We ordered the Pho Tai Chin, the noodles are high quality, the meat is tender, and the flavor of the broth is yum. No wait and we received are food quickly. Our tummies are content. Thank you.

As a Vietnamese, I will suggest this restaurant for authenticity taste of Vietnamese food (almost identical of what i have back in Việt Nam). As for Phở in general, the broth will follow the taste of Northen Vietnam, it is not my favourite as I grew up in the South. However, i believe it will suit most palette of Western cuisine. For the Bò Lúc Lắc with rice, it is great with the sweet sauce as well for Nem Rán. The servers gave us a great time since we spoke Vietnamese to eachother. Come here for the best experiences, you have my words!

Bashifu Hotpot is a vibrant new dining destination on Via San Gallo that beautifully blends the flavors of Florence with the bold spices of Sichuan cuisine. The restaurant's atmosphere is enhanced by neon lights and lanterns, creating a cozy yet modern vibe that's perfect for communal dining. Guests can dive into an exciting culinary adventure by selecting their own broth and fresh ingredients like lamb, beef, mushrooms, udon noodles, shrimp, cabbage, and bok choy.
Great services and Fresh food. We were craving for Chinese steamboat and managed to find this restaurant. The ambience is great, the waitresses are very helpful and kind. The food is fresh and we love the spiciness of the mala steamboat (I should have ordered a lower level of spiciness). They also have other Chinese dishes such as fried rice and beer noodles. The price point is reasonable in Florence.

Really good and authentic Mala Hotpot with good soup, sauce you can create your own and very fresh ingredients from meat to vegetables. Have many soup selections and can choose spicy level of the Mala soup. Really good value for money choice. Usually Mala Hotpot in Europe of this quality is more expensive. Recommend

Super lovely food! The portion is very generous for the price. Also it is very fresh! We came to Florence for tourism and wanted to try something spicy when we found this restaurant. The service is very good, waiter was very helpful introducing the food. The place is spacious and clean. If we ever come back to Florence will definatly visit again.

We loved this place! The food was delicious and reasonably priced with tons of spices, herbs and toppings to make dipping sauces. The staff were super friendly and attentive – they helped us order on the QR code, make a tasty dipping sauce, and kept our broth topped up whenever it was getting low. Luna was especially kind, and the free gelato at the end was such a nice touch. We were even provided with aprons so we didn’t get messy. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were craving Asian food and this restaurant happened to pop up on our first night in Florence, so we wanted to give this place a shot! And WOWW - we loved their modern decor and the restaurant was very clean. Now for the food - we were so impressed by the flavor of their broth, their EXTENSIVE sauce bar, and the HUGE portions they gave for each hot pot ingredient. We ordered each dish as if we were ordering at a typical hot pot restaurant back home and we ended up leaving so much leftover. We apologized to the staff but they told us that as long as we walked away full, that’s all they ask 🥹 their service was above and beyond and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to fill their Asian food craving while traveling in Florence!

Some of the best hot pot I’ve ever had! We went as a family of 3. Soup base was so flavourful, menu had wide variety of meats, vegetables, vegetarian products. Owner was kind and gave us gelato on the house. Ordering is A La Carte via a QR code (they had free wifi), prices are definitely not cheap but paying for the quality and large portion sizes.

Excellent, authentic, flavorful Hotpot dinner. We went as a family for dinner. There were not too many customers. We were seated promptly and they explained the dishes (using Google translate). Food was quite good, mate a little too spicy.

Very authentic hot pot with excellent service. We ordered both the chicken broth and the spicy broth—both were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I accidentally burned my thumb while pouring the chicken broth into a cup, and the staff gave me ice and cream, then checked on me later to make sure I was okay. If you’re visiting Florence and craving hot pot like I was, this is the place to go—it instantly feels like home.

Earlier this year we had come across this lovely patisserie. A nice selection was on offer and when taking into account the very reasonable prices, the quality was top notch. Sadly the service from the lady who made the coffees was terrible. She didn't particularly like tourists who were not Italian. She particularly was rude with my wife and nieces who are from South Korea. She made it very clear she didn't want us there. We visited another couple of times as we refused to let one racist person stop us from enjoying the lovely cakes on offer. Such a pity one person spoils the atmosphere of such a wonderful place.

This Bar is placed near the psychology university of Florence. It's good stylish and nice for having a breakfast, luncheon, happy-hour, brunch. The espresso coffee is delicious as well as the pastries or croissant. Also here you'll find the "arancino" (fried rice ball). The staff is always smiling and extremely professional. Good prices. The cappuccino was nicely done but the pastry with cream lacked a bit on the quality side. It’s been recently renovated with a nice seating area. It seems like a pleasant place to hang out for a bit but I am not sure I would come back considering that the pastries are just average.

Homes in Florence offers a fantastic experience for travelers looking for renovated apartments in the city. Lorenzo, a professional and respectful agent, provides excellent assistance in finding the perfect property and supports clients throughout the process, even helping with moving possessions. The team's caring and concern extend beyond the closing, ensuring a smooth and perfect stay. Edoardo, the owner, is highly recommended for his kind and reliable service.
Fantastic experience. My wife and I met Lorenzo in March 2022 and help was terrific. We wanted a renovated apartment and he took us around showing us four properties. He was professional and respectful; never pushy. When we decided upon the apartment we wanted he help us in every way possible; from negotiating the price to the closing. When we settled and moved in June 2022 he even helped move our possessions. His caring and concern for us has not stopped with the closing. He made certain that our utilities were linked to our bank account for automatic debit. We had trouble getting a taxi to take us to the airport at 3 am for a 6 am flight back to the US; I called him and and he arranged it. When we came back to the apartment last month (October 2022) the water was not on; he thoughtfully had turned off the water so we would not have a problem. He continues to care. He is a gentleman and a wonderful, trustful person to work with. My wife and I would 100% recommended Homes in Florence.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! They rented us an apartment infested with bed bugs. My whole family, with two small children, were bit. I sent them videos of the bed bugs crawling out of the head board and lamp. I sent them photos of the telltale bedbug stains on the sheets. And they deny that there is any problem at all! I woke up with a bedbug literally on me! We had to leave the apartment after one night. Look at the photos and videos yourself to judge! Plus most of the reviews here are fake.

We've rented a pretty nice villa near Florence, but when we checked out the agency accused us of 'damaging' equipment of the villa which was totally unfair. As they had access to our credit card details, there was not a lot we could do really to fight the unfair charge (we did not damage anything in the villa). Be careful with this travel agency, they are not genuine.
JVBE — Google review
One word of advice: don't book with this agency. They spoilt our holiday! Here is our story. We booked a one-bedroom flat with a large loggia overlooking Santa Croce Square in Florence for 4 nights, paying €1200. The booking process in March was smooth. However, three days before our arrival in August, the agency informed us via WhatsApp that the flat was unavailable due to bedbugs. They offered us a supposedly upgraded two-bedroom flat near Ponte Vecchio or a full refund. Given the short notice and our location in Venice, we reluctantly accepted the alternative, despite it looking inferior based on the photos. Upon arrival, the experience deteriorated rapidly. The check-in agent was late and rude. The flat itself was filthy, dingy, and smelled bad. It was unbearably hot (37-38°C outside), and though the air conditioning worked in the living room, it did not cool the bedrooms. We immediately expressed our dissatisfaction and asked for the refund that had been offered earlier, but were told no decision could be made because it was a Sunday. We were forced to stay overnight, and further problems emerged when using the kettle tripped the electricity. We were left in pitch darkness with no response from the agency’s emergency line. With the help of a neighbour, we reset the electricity, and they informed us that the flat was not even supposed to be rented out due to condominium rules. By morning, the internet was down due to the electrical issues. We contacted the agency, but they were dismissive and extremely rude. Despite our complaints, they refused to offer any solution or refund, claiming they needed to investigate. After waiting hours for a response, we checked ourselves into a hotel. The agency later informed us that they would not be refunding anything, downplaying the issues. We also discovered that the flat we had originally booked, supposedly closed due to bedbugs, was occupied, as we saw people on its terrace. This experience was extremely disappointing, and the agency’s conduct was unprofessional and dishonest. We strongly advise against booking with this company.

Homes in Florence is an unethical company. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!! We booked an apartment for September via Marriott Homes & Villas. We mistakenly canceled it assuming it was within the policy. When we realized we lost our points, we reached out to ask them to reinstate our reservation, they refuse to. So they basically got paid for our stay, and have now put it back on the market to double their rent. We even called them in Italy but these are scammers. TRUST THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!

DON’T MAKE THIS MISTAKE! AVOID! I really don’t know how they have 4.2 stars! We chose an apartment in Florence called Dreamy Guelfa. Description states it is an “air conditioned apartment”, when we got there, they had only an old and small fan. As AC was mandatory for us, we questioned the company and they only offered to bring adicional fans. They said it was a technical issue and probably the previous guest had damaged the PORTABLE AC they had (Note that for them air conditioned apartment is the same as ONE portable AC machine). Again, for us AC was mandatory, so we explained we would not stay , we had to find a last minute hotel, and asked for a refund, to what they offered 20%. Ridiculous! Also, apartment does not look as the pictures anymore, it is old, in the third floor what they conveniently don’t mention and the stairs for access are horrible. As you can see, and PLEASE DO NOT BE MISTAKEN by their reply, if they do, this company works with FALSE ADVERTISEMENT and don’t play fair! You have a lot of better options in Florence so you don’t go through the frustration and stress we had to!
Liza C — Google review
Avoid! Worst experience in Italy! As the other many 1-star reviews have noted this company offers some of the worst customer service ever encountered. This vacation rental apartment we rented with “Homes in Florence” in Florence was a dreadful experience. Despite the property being advertised as "Luxury Santa Croce 4" and the price being $500+ per night, basic amenities were not provided. The AC in the living room was not working, the WiFi died on the second day, and the shower had issues with fluctuations in temperature. The Nespresso machine had no pods or sugar, and the laundry machine had no laundry powder. The towels and sheets were cheap and there were no extras. The master bed was uncomfortably hard without padding. There was really nothing “luxurious” about this place other than the views and the price. The agency was unresponsive and unhelpful, taking five days to resolve the WiFi issue and offering little consideration. We had to check out early as we couldn't work, and there was no apology or a reasonable refund to date. I would strongly advise against staying here or at any of their homes and risking having your time in Florence ruined.
Miki G — Google review
The worst experience I had in my whole life. I booked with them for 40 days in Florence. When I arrived at the property, the house was the filthiest I have ever seen in my life. Everything was revolting and sticky. They tried to clean it, but after their cleaning the house was still extremely disgusting, with several broken appliance, sticky shelves, dirty floor, dirty sheets. I had to sleep in a hotel. The day after, despite agreeing that the house would have needed a long one day cleaning they sent the cleaners only at 3.30 PM. Furthermore they refused to comply in changing the filthy and teared chairs and couch, despite the cost should have been covered by the previous tenant. While their employee Valentina tried to help and to somewhat accommodate us the managers were extremely arrogant, and refused to offer any concrete help, like for example offering an alternative accommodation for the night. They believe themselves as being high level people, but when you speak with them you immediately realise that they are uneducated new rich, with no respect for people - not what you would expect in the Medici city. Their service is the worst I have ever experienced in my whole life. Furthermore, be aware that most of their good reviews were written by people that only wrote one or two reviews in their whole life, so basically those are completely untrustworthy as well. I was also lied several times, for example when I was told that we would have arranged a coffee to settle down the situation, when I was told that the couches and chairs would have been most likely changed, or when I was told that the apartment would have been properly cleaned. My only relief is to know that in the long term people who are so unserious will fail their business.

(Translated by Google) Restaurant open for a month and still little known, it is a rather large place and kept very clean, the atmosphere during the day was very soft and relaxing. It's great value for money, the fish was fresh and melted in your mouth. The salmon slices on the nigiri were very thick as they should be and there are many types of sushi and hot dishes. The presentation of the dishes is well done and the staff very kind and approachable. Very importantly, they also serve sashimi for lunch! Not all all you can eat restaurants do this and especially one sushi restaurant nearby charges it a la carte, outside the all you can eat price, so I recommend the Ginza for this reason too. These days they are distributing 5 euro vouchers valid for dinner, they asked me to possibly give them to my friends too to spread the word and I find that this place is definitely worth it! I recommend bringing a few euros extra because of the 2 euro cover charge and the drinks. Prezzo: 12,50 a pranzo, 20,50 a cena

(Translated by Google) In my opinion the best all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in all of Florence; they also serve sashimi for lunch, there is a huge variety of dishes, which are plated very well, the staff is uniquely courteous... there's really no reason to complain if they charge €21 for dinner plus €2 for covered per person excluding drinks and desserts, because they can absolutely afford it. Highly recommended! Consigliatissimo!

Amazing experience and literally the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited in my life. Pretty crazy to think this was influence of all places! From a minute you step in, they make you feel at home and are so welcoming and hospitable. Host has done a wonderful job in helping us decide what to order, asking us about our likes and tailoring our choices to what we would truly enjoy. Especially would recommend the Hyderabad than biryani with Lamb as well as the chicken 65. The food was so incredible that we actually ate here two days in a row for dinner and it was the best food we had all week in Italy. PS- it was our anniversary and they brought out the most lovely surprise.

Great taste. Authentic Indian food, it doesn’t feel like that I was eating Indian food in Florence. I am from Brampton so I can make good judgement on the Indian food because we have plenty of Indian restaurants over there. This is definitely one of the finest Indian restaurant outside India. Manager is 10/10. I have never seen such good customer service from Indian restaurant before he deserves a raise. I thought he was the owner the way he was dealing with us. Such employees are like an asset. I asked him 45 minutes before closing that if I should make the final order, he politely said, sir ! no rush, eat your food, We are open for you. So nice of him. May God bless him.

If you’re a traveller, especially a desi roaming around and suddenly hit by that classic craving for ghar ka khana, this place is a must. The food is absolutely amazing, and the best part—it feels like home on a plate. For Indians craving those familiar flavors, just chat with the staff in our very own desi bhasha. They totally get it. We were missing our good old yellow dal, so I told the server, “Chef ko bolo, dal mein dhabha wala tadka maar ke, thoda mast masala daalke bana do, jaise ghar pe khate hain.” And trust me, they nailed it. What came out of the kitchen was pure nostalgia—dal loaded with that spicy, comforting tadka, just like back home. Add to that the warm smiles and helpful attitude of the staff, and suddenly you don’t feel so far from India anymore. We ended up ordering way more than planned (because who can stop at just dal?), and left with our cravings completely satisfied—for the rest of the trip. If you’re desi and missing home food, this is your spot.

My first time here. The food is a notable step up from most. The flavors were perfectly balanced. I started with the onion rings a Gluten Free appetizer and they were soft and delicious. There are many GF options on their menu. Everything we ordered was perfectly spiced. We chose a very reasonably priced bottle of Viognier IGT which paired perfectly with our Biryani and Chicken Tandoori. Travelers should note that if you do not finish your bottle of wine you can take it with you as you leave. The staff was attentive and professional. The restaurant just celebrated 25 years which is commendable. Also the chef is well known in the local community as they are the number one catering company for large cultural events and Indian weddings of the area. An easy walk from the train station. We parked at the nearby underground parking called Porta al Prato.

Food here is very differently prepared from how it's generally made. It was new to my palatte, not sure if I liked it very much. But it was definitely not bad. The dishes felt somewhat heavy on cream (both the coconut rice and curry) The chat was okay too! I saw this place has very good reviews, famous for punjabi cuisine! Maybe this is the place for non-veg!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Indian restaurant in Florence is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — a perfect blend of cozy elegance and vibrant charm. The service was flawless; the staff was genuinely kind, attentive without being overbearing, and truly made us feel like honored guests. The owner knew their customers like they were family. Now let’s talk about the food — wow. Every dish was bursting with bold, authentic flavors that transported us straight to India. From the perfectly spiced curries to the pillowy naan and fragrant rice, everything was clearly crafted with care and expertise. It’s rare to find such impeccable balance in seasoning and presentation, but they nailed it with every bite. After eating Italian food for a few days, we felt like switching things up and went out for Indian food last night. We checked Google and found Taj Palace, which was close to our hotel, so we walked over. The place has a warm look with paintings of Indian dance forms and a few musical instruments on display. The overall feel was great. We looked through the menu and were about to choose a few dishes when one of the staff suggested one of their popular items. Here’s what we ended up ordering with our ratings: Kadhai Chicken 4/5 Garlic Naan 5/5 Kheer 4/5 The Kadhai chicken was a little spicy for us but we still liked it. The food in general was good. It took some time for the dishes to arrive because the place was busy, but the staff were friendly and attentive. The service was good.

Taj Palace Ristorante Indiano, Florence. Dining at Taj Palace in Florence was an absolute delight from start to finish. If you’re searching for authentic Indian food in the heart of Tuscany, this is the place to be. The restaurant itself strikes a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. The interior is beautifully decorated—warm, classy, and tastefully traditional with a hint of vintage elegance. It’s immaculately clean, giving a comfortable yet refined atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. What truly sets Taj Palace apart, however, is the outstanding service. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Abdil, who was a pleasure throughout the evening. Attentive, knowledgeable, and personable, he made sure we had the best possible experience. His recommendation to try the Lucknow Butter Chicken instead of the classic version turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. The dish itself was exceptional: the chicken was tender, clearly marinated with care, and the sauce was rich with layers of spices and balanced flavors. Unlike many butter chicken dishes that lean heavily on creaminess alone, this one carried depth and character—fragrant, spiced just right, and utterly delicious. You could taste the authenticity in every bite. Alongside this, the menu offers a range of authentic Indian dishes prepared with skill and respect for traditional flavors. Everything we tasted felt fresh, thoughtfully presented, and true to its roots. Overall, Taj Palace is more than just a restaurant—it’s a genuine culinary experience that brings a slice of India to Florence. With excellent food, a stylish yet traditional setting, and service that goes above and beyond, it’s a place we would recommend without hesitation.

I wasn’t expecting to eat one or the best Indian food here in Florence. We were homesick and this turned into a night of amazing food, great ambiance and some of the best hospitality we have experienced here by Abdal. In the starting the green spicy chutney with chicken pakora blew our mind. The hyderabadi biryani was to die for, malai tikka was great for kids - not too spicy but bursting with flavor. Mutton karahi was so good, chicken pakora and butter chicken didn’t lag behind. Perfect ending with Karak chai made just right. Highly highly recommend!!!

The food had no flavour. All sushi tasted the same no matter the type ordered. The fish tartar was acidic. Minimum fish added to the rolls. 1 star and I didn’t eat. Is the first time I leave a restaurant. I had a surgery 1 month ago and I can’t eat, just a little. I went with my husband to eat at this place and he wanted the full menu all you can eat and I want it the regular. They told its IMPOSSIBLE to choose one and one. It has to be the same (????) but.. what happen if one person has hungry and the other one not? Or one eat a lot and the other one not? Or ny case… I can’t eat a lot and my husband can? I understand the reasons but as a marketing manager the restaurant has to think this is not going to work 100% of the cases. We decide to leave. The manager told after 10” they can have an exception (I really appreciate it) but not. We pay 8€ for water and cokes we didn’t drink and move to another Japanese restaurant very close.

We spent a marvelous dinner in this restaurant and we were quiet a lot (12 persons), despite this, the service was really really fast, the waitress and waiter were very nice and sweet. Even the bathroom gives a Japanese temple atmosphere. The price quality ratio was astonished, so many choices in the menu and only for 28€, drinks and desserts are excluded but still worth the extra. Bring your Barbie and dollhouse to eat Pretend Japanese food. The Top Ramen noodles were shocking but then, “salmon tacos” arrived ON A PRINGLES POTATO CHIP. We were dying laughing at that point realizing we’d been had for a joke! Ironically we had fast food ramen at the MALL today at Mr. Wu and it was actually WAY BETTER😆🤣😆 We finished our watered down sake and really contemplated just walking out. I decided to pay €48. for this so I could write this review. This has got to be one of those investor concoctions with 1000% mark up on food. Hilarious. “Our philosophy” blurbs back of menu. Some MBA got paid to throw this place together with a bucket of random style thrown on the walls like someone robbed an antique store. Zero Japanese in this Japanese “restaurant.” Florence is really hitting rock bottom with tourist traps. Unreal. Viva Firenze.

All you can eat only €23,- A lot of food to choose from. However they provide big portions. Usually if you eat sushi you can eat a lot of small different things. It was not possible to get smaller dishes which I find quite strange. Other than that a nice restaurant with an average helpful and friendly staff.

For 15 euros this is the best sushi you’ll get! Easy to get a table so long as you don’t go in peak times and the service was exactly as expected. If I were to change anything maybe more variety in the sushi but that’s with my reaching for flaws. The empty plates are a testimonial on how happy we were with the quality! So the deal is 15 euro for lunch and 23 euro for dinner all you can eat (excluding drinks and desert). I must say this is a great place to have decent sushi when you're tired of all the Italian food. Was so good had to come back the next day!
Julie E — Google review
Probably the best sushi in Florence, all you can eat includes menu dishes, much better than products available on the self-service. Also quite expencive, 23 euros each with out drinks but totally worth it

Zushi Florence quickly became a newfound favorite with its delightful sushi offerings at reasonable prices. While they don't offer an 'all you can eat' option, their sushi sets are attractively priced for a satisfying regular meal. It's worth noting that indulging in special pieces may lead to a higher bill. The vegan sushi set was enjoyable, although some flavors seemed peculiar and the tofu lacked taste. Nonetheless, Zushi Florence stands out for offering vegan options, which are rare to find in Italy.
This place is fantastic! If you’re looking for a great sushi restaurant in Florence, look no further. They have a huge menu from sushi to rolls to gyoza, yakisoba and beautiful poke bowls. The drinks are strong and the reasonably priced. The ambiance is fun with artificial turf and sunken tables making it feel like you’re in a park. Highly recommend Zushi!
Kellie V — Google review
Bottom line: mixed reviews. 👍👎👍👎from two diners. Service was terrific. Vibe was very good. Sushi was mixed combination of very fresh and not as fresh. Gyozo was awesome. Tuna hand roll was very good but the Sriracha was over used. If you are looking for a sushi fix in Firenze, this is worthy of consideration, just expect...good enough.

A very nice place, very much following the aesthetic! I got a gin tonic with Ki No Bi and it was so beautiful! The food good, but the rice a bit over cooked. I had experience of take away few months ago and it was so delicious! I believe it was just a little mistake.
Arianna F — Google review
Ordered the rolls below. It was ok. I give everything 7-7.5/10. For some reason it did not hit the spot. Service was great!
Monica — Google review
Great and unique atmosphere to enjoy colorful food! I’ve never experienced this much of color from sushi and it tasted wonderful! Friendly staff and easy to make reservations via google maps!
Sarah — Google review
The beef ramen did not have a good flavor neither did the sushi. It was quite disappointing for the price I paid.
Sophia M — Google review
I spent 29.19euro (incl. delivery fee) for this. What can I say? Even the quality wasn’t good at all. The crab in the dish named Leblon was very dry-over cooked, oxidized avocado and tiny little pieces of shrimp.. shrimp of sushi wasn’t cleaned with their organ well.
Mingee L — Google review
Quickly became a new favorite. Very nice sushi with a good price range. Does not offer "all you can eat": if you want to eat a lot of special pieces, if can get pricey. However, for a nice, regular meal, the sushi sets are priced nicely. I took a set of vegan sushi and it was nice, however some tastes were strange to me and the tofu was quite flavourless. Other vegetarian pieces were much better. However, it's nice that they do offer vegan sushi as it is quite rare to find it in Italy. The interior was beautiful and set a nice mood!

This is an all-you-can-eat style restaurant in an open-air mall in Firenze. Lots of choices from the menu. You can order as much as you want, just a 5 plate limit per person per round. You can still have plenty with 5 plates at a time. Service is always quick. Sushi is good, and flavor and freshness are on point.
PAUL R — Google review
All you can eat menu for either lunch or dinner, it is really delicious and diverse, there are a lot of vegetarian and non-fish options 😋 I recommend to avoid weekends to have a more quiet meal with better service, the staff were trying their best, I love the sushi variety and also the fried rice with chicken. I also recommend trying the dishes in the novelty section. The desserts for me are not the strongest point, but the Chinese cookies are always a joy.
Doaa A — Google review
The food was nicer than I expected. The price was very reasonable. But the fried dish had too thick skin and quite wet, not crunchy. All of the sushi dishes were great! Salmon were very big💕

For the price you can find better sushi. I got beef which was covered in extremely a sour sauce that was surely there to mask the expiration of the beef..Sushi sets are very basic, nothing that you can find in a supermarket. Only happy with the service.

The attentive staff provides excellent service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Visitors praise the Chicken Tikka and Pineapple Chicken with Onion Kulcha as exceptional choices. We had a fantastic experience at this Indian restaurant in Florence! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and provided 5-star service from start to finish—never rushing us and making sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, making it one of the best Indian dining experiences we've had abroad. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence and craving quality Indian cuisine. Thanks again to the team for such a wonderful meal and warm hospitality!

This restaurant is within a 10-minute walk from the Central Station. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The place is well decorated and maintained. Papad with 3 different chutneys is complimentary. We ordered chicken karahi, paratha, naan and a chicken biryani. Raita and onion-lemon-green chilli salad and water also need to be paid for. All dishes were simply delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Our waiter Palwinder Singh kept checking in on us about the food and if we needed anything else, lovely person. Overall, a pleasant dining experience and highly recommend it in Firenze.

Truly Authentic and Delicious Indian Food! Key takeaways: • Authentic • Delicious • Super Service • Highly Recommended We had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant and highly recommend it. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The super service definitely stood out; the staff was attentive, helpful, and very friendly throughout the meal. But the real highlight was the food itself. It was genuinely authentic and incredibly delicious. Every dish we tried was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and tasted wonderfully fresh. This is not your average Indian restaurant—it's the real deal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine paired with excellent hospitality.
Sissi — Google review
Crown of India in Florence offers a welcoming atmosphere with truly outstanding service. The staff were attentive, and the owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. While the hospitality stood out, the food itself was a bit mediocre—flavors were mild and lacked the richness expected in authentic Indian cuisine. That said, it’s a decent spot if you’re craving Indian food in Florence and value great service and a warm, inviting experience.
Arunava R — Google review
If you are looking for good Indian food in Florence you have reached the right place. Although there are a lot of restaurants in the area but this is unique. You can reserve your spot in advance as dinner time can be busy but it is also worth waiting as food tastes really good. Service is up to the mark and atmosphere is also good.
Narender R — Google review
We were here for lunch on July 5th, 2025 😋 The food was excellent, and the service was very good too. Thank you for the wonderful, friendly service! The dishes were outstanding and full of flavor. Even the washroom was in top condition—very clean and well maintained. For anyone who's had their fill of Italian food, we highly recommend trying this Indian restaurant in Florence. A perfect change of taste with authentic, delicious Indian cuisine! 🌟
Bibi S — Google review
The food was amazing and well priced. Their service was slightly slow but very attentive. For an Indian restaurant to be filled with mostly Indians is a great sign of the quality of food. If you like Indian food I recommend you eat here
Ofir V — Google review
Indian food is outside our boundaries.... But we gave it a try.... It was very good. We like spice so had a couple dishes on the spicy side, wouldn't say over spicy, but it was spicy. Naan (cheese, garlic, garlic&chili) were great, just wish they were bigger, but priced low enough to order a few. The cumin rice was great with every dish ot by itself. And the yogurt veggies, were awesome to cool down the heat. The staff(owner?) were very helpful and patient with us. Thank you!

Koto Ramen Via Verdi is a popular spot in Florence and Prato, with a new location in San Frediano. The restaurant specializes in traditional Japanese ramen dishes, offering options like the spicy tan tan ramen, miso ramen with pork chashu, and shoyu ramen with toasted soy sauce. The founders aim to blend Italian and Japanese cuisines using local ingredients and Japanese techniques.
Tried their veggie Miso ramen and it’s some of the best ramen my partner and I have ever had. There’s lots of mixed reviews here which I was surprised by. Make reservations in advance or walk in and hope you get lucky like we did.
Joshua C — Google review
One of the best ramen I had here in Italy. The location is nothing special, but definitely gives the right vibes to eat a nice and warm bowl of ramen. I had the spicy shoyu, and that was really something special. Spicy and rich and just wow, with tasty ingredients and all (marinated egg was the highlight). If you like ramen, you need to come here.
Sam — Google review
I love Ramen, this spot was okay. Went with a classic Spicy Miso and it lacked depth to the flavor. The karrage is nice, maybe it's the "American" in me but the fry on the chicken was very "light" and maybe a little dry. The actual shop is very trendy though so the aesthetic is nice. I just wished the food had more flavor. Servers were also very nice and quick!
Megan Y — Google review
Great Ramen restaurant right in the heart of Florence! We had 2 different Ramens + Giyosas and it was all so delicious. The chef was nice and welcoming as soon as we walked in, and the waitress was very helpful, service was great overall! The Ramen itself was delicious and very pleasant to the eyes as well. Would totally recommend!!
Eyal B — Google review
Not authentic at all… very bad food the ramen did not taste like ramen in any way… even broth had a very weird taste… the pork dumplings were not good in taste and was very dry… the only good thing was the salmon sashimi.. which is raw anyway.. I would never recommend this restaurant
Dr. A — Google review
The gyozas and ramen are really good. The broth is good and the marinated eggs are well-made, the noodles aren't great, that's why it's not perfect, but otherwise pretty good. Also they have stout asahi beer, which is great
Irene C — Google review
At first i thought it was a bad idea taken by my wife, but it ended up as a brilliant one. Well done my love! Good job guys! The portion of the poke bowl was big enough to end your hunger and it was really delicious. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. That’s how you make a poke. See you next time guys!

The best Asian food in town. I was surprised to find such authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine in Florence. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is great!

We were looking to try different food for dinner, after short look on menu we decided to go for this resturant. We were glad that our decision was good. Foods were very good and not so big portions so perfect for us. As I love and cook lot Thai food, food were not spicy as I know but still I enjoyed alot. I can only recommend. The most important, the waiter was so nice this add additional flavour to our ni e evening dinner.

The best Thai place in Florence by far.. the food is an absolute delight to the palette.. every dish was spot on.. but Duck in red curry sauce and Thai Salad were absolutely the stars for me.. highly recommended!!!

If you like Asian food this is the place to go in Florence! We order miso soup, spring rolls, Thai salad and phadthai, all the dish was nicely presented and the taste was there! And the staff was super professional and sweet🫶 we will for sure come again! P.s a must is to order the Thai salad!
Hiwi A — Google review
The Pad Thai is so gross and I genuinely want to sue this restaurant for committing this crime. The noodles are not even right, weird taste, no sugar, what kind of pad Thai is this????? Chef, have you taste whatever you made before you sell it to customers? This is the worst thai food I ever had, do not recommend and really angry now. If you can’t make Thai food, don’t call yourself Thai restaurant, you don’t feel shame doing that?

Very trendy and beautiful interior of this Japanese and Taiwanese restaurant. Any restaurant with a live plant wall is great in my book. Sushi is good and prices is about what you would expect. My Sushi Bridge for One was €20. (Pictured).
