A lovely local café managed by a group of women who really know what they’re doing! They offer a huge variety of sweets—everything from traditional pastries to unique desserts—and all of them are high quality and super tasty. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the atmosphere feels warm and personal. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The only thing to keep in mind is that the place is small, so there aren’t many seats. But if you’re lucky enough to find a spot, it’s the perfect place to relax with a coffee and something sweet. Definitely recommended!

Delicious pastries and lovely coffee and so cheap at around €1.40 each. Family run and has been around a long time so well worth a visit before jetting off on your travels!

Nice views of duomo while you eat. Food was good but wait staff was very disappointing. Took forever to get order in and when asked questions felt we were inconveniencing them. My friend can not eat pork so she ordered a turkey sandwich. When it came it was ham. We tried to explain but they insisted it was turkey so she just took the meat off and ate it without. Cafe latte was good too.

Breakfast here has a good mix of locals and tourists. Pay first, then order, the system is not that efficient, you may wait a bit. The interior takes you back half a century or more, attention to detail in the display of pastries and plates a cups. Conviniently located in front of the Doumo and I was pleasantly surprised with the bill being much less than expected!

We stopped here for a breakfast and had 2 espressos and 2 croissants, which cost us near 18 euros. While the bar has a beautiful view and the staff were very polite, the prices were surprisingly high—even compared to other tourist cities similar items usually cost in Pisa around 5 euros or Milan around 10 euros, A lovely spot, but be prepared to pay a premium for the location.

A café with a great location and view, right across from the Duomo. The food options were decent, though not outstanding. However, we were very disappointed to be charged nearly double the listed prices simply because we chose to sit at a table. No one warned us about this price difference — not the staff, nor any visible signage. While I’ve encountered this kind of pricing in Italy before, there was always a clear notice or someone informing customers. Here, the extra charge was applied without any warning, which left a bad impression.

I ate here standing up in the beautiful bar area, and if you do that it’s barely more expensive than any other bar in the city. I went for breakfast and liked it so much I returned for a light lunch! Eat the Italian way: small items, beautifully presented. Capuccino with a silver spoon, tramezzini on soft white bread. Fresh orange juice. A Coca Cola in a thick cut glass tumbler served over ice. The attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast of a cappuccino, a honey croissant and a fresh juice was €8.10!

We have found this place on our first day in Florence, and kept returning on other days too, it was ideal to take a break😅 the pastries are delicious, and eating them inside, standing near a table are around 3€, eating them outside at the terace doubles the price. The coffee was also good☕️ With ordering drinks, beer and nonalcoholic cocktail, they served us free snacks.

Honestly no idea why this place only has 3.5 starts the tiramisu is delicious, staff patient and helpful, interior beautiful coffee amazing strawberry tart lovely americano portion generous. When you sit down outside in the Plaza items are expensive. Go inside and the prices are just like everywhere in Florence for coffee and pastries. I enjoyed my overpriced Limoncello spritz and free nibbles taking in the beautiful plaza. Went inside and had the best cannoli in my life. Not too rich, not too sour. The casing was perfect. The rumpope tasting eclair was phenomenal as well. I want to go back before on the way to the train station to have it again. Quick polite service.

Stylish Stop for a Drink with a View We stopped by for drinks rather than food and grabbed a spot in the very comfortable outdoor seating area overlooking the stunning Palazzo Vecchio. It was raining and the place was understandably in high demand, the staff were doing their absolute best to accommodate everyone with patience and professionalism. I had an espresso martini (€16) and a beer (€9.50)—a little steep, and sadly expected for the location. Service was great, and while we didn’t stay long, it was a lovely spot to pause, sip, and soak up the atmosphere of the square.

Poor service. Stale bread. Poor communication. We order a sandwich and we pay for that. When we asked for a table, they told us this price is not for a sitting table. How do I know?! You should ask you want to sit or not!!! It was rude. I don't care spending money. Of course, I came here to have nice time and spending money. When you serving people you should NOT just consider how much money you can earn per person! It's better to consider what kind of experience your customers will have!!

Found this place whilst looking through some recommendations and HAD to visit immediately. The cafe is beautifully decorated with this stunning green and gold interior; its a little hole in the wall for you to get lost in. The desserts and pastries itself were also amazing. The raspberry pastry I tried was super flaky, and the chocolate dessert (with dates? i’m not sure) was super addicting. Will definitely be going back!

There’s a cover fee of €3 per person, and the caffe is on the pricier side. We were a party of 2. The breakfast was good. My pancakes came covered with melted cheese, which I found to be very different, but I enjoyed them. My husband enjoyed his Eggs Benedict as well. The ambience was great. Tommaso was our waiter and he was good.

I rarely visit the same place twice when travelling — yet in just 2.5 days, we found ourselves at Gilli not once, not twice, but five times! That says it all. We first stopped in for breakfast at the bar and were served by Antonio, who delivered not only delicious coffee but truly outstanding service. Despite the rush of a busy morning, he took the time to chat with us, introduced us to “El Padre,” and even surprised us with a little chocolate treat. His warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home, so we returned that very afternoon for more coffee — and once again, Antonio was just as attentive and friendly. An absolute star! Later that night, we came back for cocktails. Juan Carlos greeted us with the same level of hospitality — engaging conversation, fantastic drink recommendations, and what was genuinely the best Espresso Martini I’ve ever had. Of course, we couldn’t resist returning the next day for breakfast, pastries, and a final coffee before leaving Florence — we kept finding excuses to come back! I cannot recommend Gilli highly enough. Delicious food, fantastic coffee, excellent cocktails — but above all, the exceptional service from the team truly made our experience unforgettable. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were a party of two and everything from start to finish was excellent. The food was delicious, the place was spotless and the service was top-notch. A special shout-out to Noa and Carmelo, who were especially kind and attentive throughout our visit. Caffe Gilli was on my list before my arrival. I wanted a place with nice view and a bit of Parisian chic and it's the closest to that. I arrived by 9 AM and enjoyed their breakfast. They have good options from eggs to pastry and really good coffee. It was not too crowded and I was lucky to sit near the piazza, it got lore crowded afterwards. The service was nice and pleasant.

Perfect place to stop by. Recommend sitting next to window, so you can feel the atmosphere of piazza and enjoy food and coffee at the same time. Server Alessio welcomed and made us comfortable during stay. He was such a nice person.

This place welcome me like it I was home! Everything about this place was great. The servers, food, wine, coffee, atmosphere and the location make it the perfect place to sit down, relax, take in the view of the Plaza and get lost in the sounds of the city. I met a few great staff that made me feel like family. Santi and tomas were some of them. Very friendly, joyous, fun and kind. I'm here for two weeks and this is definitely a place I will always remember and if I ever get the chance to come back I will for sure return to see my new friends! We had an unforgettable experience at Gilli Firenze dal 1733. The atmosphere is classic and full of Florentine charm, and every dish, from the fresh pastries to the beautifully plated mains, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. What truly made our visit special was the service from Alessio and Virginia. They were both incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome!

Such a cozy place to have breakfast. We were staying in a hotel right next to it and the host advised us to try and we didn’t regret. We loved the croissants, they were so buttery and flaky. Just note that there’s little room to sit so you may have to take away at peak hours.

We thought this was a great forno, but we were so disappointed. Bought 5 rosetta, uncooked and a loaf of segale also uncooked. We threw the bread to wild boars in the fields. At least we didn’t throw away the food. People really lower the standards….

Grab a number at the entrance, it's worth the wait. The schiaccata rosmarino is epic, so is the carcioffino bread. Pizza is really good. The cake with apple and almonds was honestly the best cake I've ever tasted. The other savoury choices were fine but not amazing like the rest. Needless to say, I'll be back many times.

Grab a ticket and wait for your number to be called - it's worth any wait! I went here for a few snacks for lunch. The sandwiches were really tasty and full of filling. And the croissants were lovely, I can recommend the apricot one. The staff were super friendly and helpful and took the time to explain what things were to me in English.

Serving Florence since 1968 Antico Forno Giglio is a neighborhood Bakery known for Tomato Pizzas and a variety of Breads, the family owned space from Emilio and Naida Nuti sparse on square meters but bountiful in terms of options from 07h00 Monday through Saturday. Less celebrated for sweets than Rye, Schiacciata or other seasonal options guests seeking Breakfast will find a variety of Cookies plus Pasticerria while items such as Cornetti and Tortine are pillowy soft in comparison to filled Sfogliatelle that shatter to yield creamy Fillings.

Walked past this place and saw a queue of old ladies stood outside of it and figured it was a good sign. Grabbed my ticket, ordered a slice of pizza, and some cakes (I forget which ones), but the pizza was a different league. Almost NY style with the crispy base but the charred outer crust was so good too. You'll be tempted by the cakes, but grab a slice as well. Friendly service as well even when busy, and helped meet me halfway on my butchered Italian Duolingo phrases.

My Italian partner praised so much this place for their schiachiata fiorentina, he said the place is authentic. Well i never tried any so when he took it home for me the schiachiatta tastes good. The next time we decided to have dessert in the cafe. It was very busy, very lack of service and confusing. We got the tiramisu cake looks very tempting but tastes honestly i make better tiramisu’s taste than this..

Read some reviews of Florence recommended dish; some of them said that we need to try "schiacciata fiorentina" Here -- kind of Orange sponge cake, although i usually don't prefer orange sponge cake, i think i have to try. Sadly, there didn't make it because of not the period of time (maybe because not the best time to make this dish according to the harvest time?) So i ask what is their best seller. One of the customer directly said: cremino. And the staff also agree. Kind of pastry filled with custard? IT WAS SOOOO GOOD Highly recommend, u have to try. While only in Florence for 1 night and I am so glad we stumbled upon this incredible restaurant. The staff were so welcoming, and went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. Wow! We had specific dietary restrictions, and they created absolutely perfect dishes!! Please go here! You won’t regret it. It is pricey, but you get amazing food with the highest quality ingredients. Oh!!! Don’t forget to get some pastry desserts before leaving. Melt in your mouth!!

Perfect spot near the Duomo for a quick and delicious lunch! We stopped by after our first lunch option had a long line. They have free focaccia bread and wine available outside, which is what originally enticed us. We ordered 2 prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, and mixed greens sandwiches and a turkey, cheese, tomato, and mixed greens sandwich. The focaccia sandwiches are huge! I thought mine was delicious, honestly just as good as the Pinos sandwich I had the day before (probably due to their fresh baked focaccia)! They have a few indoor seats and more outdoor seating, though no tables, along both sides of the road.

This place is amazing! Super friendly staff, massive portions and amazing value. Visited in August 2025 and 3 Pizzas and a MASSIVE sandwich was 15 Euro. The sandwich in the picture was one sandwich cut in half! They didn’t have a sandwich I liked, but quickly made one for me - no bother at all. A must visit!

5/5 — Giant, Tasty Focaccias at a Great Price There’s not much more to say — the focaccias were fantastic! Huge portions, full of flavor, and surprisingly affordable. The place is easy to get to and wasn’t crowded at all when we visited, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable stop. Highly recommended for a quick lunch.

I rarely post negativ reviews but this bakery Forno Pintucci is (at least for tourists) a total tourist trap. We asked a piece of cheesecake for 2 Euro. The lady with black hair who was behind the counter there was no greeting, no asking, or no asking about the weight (here in Florence many places sell the cakes by weight) charged us double for 4 Euro. Unfortunately there is no minus stars for service. The cake was not great either. NOT recommendable. My first negativ review in years.

Overall it's a decent forno. However, many breads contain chocolate. A variety of changes are required. The clerk is not very friendly. I don't like cookies because they taste old. I went because it's open on a Sunday, but once is enough.

I recently visited this establishment in Florence and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I asked the owner if there was a bathroom available, to which he replied yes. We ordered a pizza and a sandwich, both of which were subpar. When we later asked to use the restroom, we were told there wasn’t one and that I must have misunderstood. I speak Spanish, French, and English, and I understand Italian, so communication was not the issue. Additionally, I noticed kitchen staff handling food without gloves and not adhering to proper hygiene standards, which is concerning. This place did not meet the expected Italian standards of food safety and service. I would not recommend dining here.

Walking into your restaurant was like walking into an enchanted boutique store which served food and drinks and soothed the eyes with the colourful products...the decor was truly exquisite and the high ceilings and archways added so much history to the ambience...The hostess was extremely professional...the Limoncello Gin drink was absolutely fresh!!. Being a vegetarian I enjoyed the sage and asparagus agnolotti...so much flavour!! Cute place but I don’t think the food is worth all the hype at all. Local guides were right. Try to get a sit near the piano as it has more natural light coming out of a dome. I had the pancakes with fruits. Make sure you order the syrup on the side coz it’s very sweet. The smoothie was not as tasty I wanted

We came on a cool September night and sat outside while we enjoyed some cocktail. Cool jazz and r&b soul music. The vibe here is impeccable, from the decor to the music to the energy of the space. We ordered the Royal Garibaldi, and it was fresh, crisp, and so balanced. Definitely a step up from your usual spritz, it’s complex and bright, just like the atmosphere. Excellent sandwich shop in Florence. We ordered the foccacia with mozzarella, meat, sundried tomato and pepper cream. It was delicious and the pepper cream was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a small queue when we arrived but overall we only waited about 20 minutes total.

We went for lunch and had to wait 30 mins in line and another 15 for our sandwich. However, it was delicious. I recommend mortadella with either pistachio cream or onion cream and balsamic + cheese and maybe arugula if you’re into that.

Visited in March 2013 - On Via dei Tavolini, Cantinetta dei Verrazzano combines bakery, wine bar, and café. One entrance greets you with a glass counter stacked with fresh focacce, pastries, and breads, baked on-site in the forno at the back. A second room offers marble-topped tables beside a charcuterie kitchen and shelves of Castello di Verrazzano wines. At lunchtime, Florentines streamed in for takeaway while I waited for a table. The crostini selezione mixed cured meats with thoughtful garnishes (7.5/10), while a salumi di cinghiale plate showed firmer, gamier flavours (7/10). Dessert was the standout - a pear and dark chocolate tart with pistachio: perfectly judged and unforgettable (10/10). Espresso from the vintage machine closed the meal on a bold, well-balanced note. A polished showcase of the Greve estate in the city centre.

One of my favourite cafes in Florence. Typically Italian. You can either have a coffee on the go, like the Italians, or sit down and linger a little longer. They also do some savoury items (for breakfast or a light lunch) and lots of sweets! I had the fig tartelette.

We been here twice already. Once for a quick coffee and another time for lunch and a wine tasing from the Verrazano Winery. First, the staff is so friendly, and second, the food and drink is meticulously prepared and served. We had the focaccia sandwiches, a small salad, and tasted several excellent wines. We took home some bread for later. We will be in Florence several more weeks and we shall return here. Bravo!

Came here on based on our Italian's friend recommendation, and we absolutely loved it. We came for lunch and the servers were so nice to us. The ambiance is quite sophisticated and boujee, especially inside, but the prices were fairly reasonable. As you can see, we ordered a lot of crostini (probably a bit overkill). Our favorite was the sandwich and the pecorino and honey with orange zest. Would visit again and try the wines next time we're in Florence.

Nice place to come - the coffees were super interesting. I had a passion fruit coffee, which I've never heard of before. I'd definitely recommend trying their more interesting coffees. Their food was also really good - perfectly cooked pancakes! A good amount of choice, although €19 for a sandwich seemed a little excessive. I had to knock it down a star because, when we went to pay, we asked to split the bill and the waiter rounded up to make it easier for himself. This was really odd and meant we were paying more than we should.

Visited Ditta Artigianale, a well-known café in Florence located on Via dei Neri. We chose it for breakfast since it opens quite early, at 07:30, which was perfect before starting our activities. At the time, we had to wait a little and were put on the waiting list, but it was worth it. We ordered a cappuccino and a flat white. The flat white turned out to be one of the best we’ve ever had, while the cappuccino was also excellent. To go along with it, we tried their pastries: a Danish strawberry pastry and a Pistachio croffin. Both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely a place we’d recommend if you’re looking for high quality coffee and pastries in Florence.

Coffe and pastries are good, but don’t order the Benedict eggs. They are horrible! Hard boiled eggs that are overpriced, very disappointing, plus no sides just the eggs. This was the most horrible breakfast experience, we were looking forward to have the Benedict’s, never thought Italy would have bad food. Our bill was €42… most expensive breakfast without meat.

Location wise this is a great spot to have a little rest before seeing more sights. This coffee shop is nice and efficient, make sure you checkout the takeaway vs dine in queues. The pastries are top notch and the coffee is great too.

I was recommended this cafe by The Tour Guide channel. Overall I found it to be average. The coffee was fine, nothing special. I enjoyed the small snacks provided upon sitting. The biggest problem was the service which was a total mess. Inside we tried to order drinks and cakes and were told to go outside. Outside we waited for a seat and nobody came. Eventually we sat and tried to wave down a waiter and multiple times we were told that the waiter would serve us eventually. Finally they came and took the order and to almost no surprise; they brought us the wrong drinks. This was just a case of poor service and we felt like we were passed from person to person.

Pleasant experience with live music during dinner time, opens till late. The food was ok, beautifully prepared and presented. Gnocchi’s highly recommended, the baked salmon’s also quite tasty. Dessert’s not too impressive but ok.

By far the best croissants/cornetto in Florence! The chocolate cream was rich and generous. The skin of the croissants were flaky and the inside soft and buttery. Go to caffe Gilli beside for cappuccino though - tried the coffee here twice and while it’s decent, it lacks the crema so desired in a cuppa.

We had a wonderful experience at Caffè Paszkowski. The atmosphere blends historic charm with a touch of elegance, perfect for relaxing in the heart of Florence. Last year, I had the best cornettoes in Italy and an incredible cup of espresso here in a heritage worthy cafe that was 100+ years old. This year they didn't even open early, it had a completely different, more touristy, glitz and glam kind of vibe. Looks more like a fancy brunch kind of place and they ran out of cornertoes. Disappointed.

We tried a few items from this local bakery before visiting Galleria dell'Accademia. Everything is baked fresh on-site. You can see the entire baking operation through a side door on the street. Prices are clearly displayed and everything we tried was delicious. The standout was the sfoglia which was incredibly light, airy, and flakey with a sweet real apple topping. The lady at the counter had limited English but was friendly.

Absolutely delicious pastries and pizza and quite affordable considering it’s at the heart of Florence city. The lady at the counter was a delight, absolutely love her! She patiently explained us without being frustrated as we needed some help translating the food options to English. It looked like it’s definitely a popular spot amongst locals, and we were pleasantly surprised how patient she was with us. Food; although I’m not an Italian food critic I can definitely say it’s delicious 10/10. We had two variants of pizzas and sweet pastries, so flavourful! Everything looked fresh out of the oven. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who is around Florence.

Stumbled upon this bakery by chance just to pack some snacks for the bus ride. Little did I know I would end up having one of my favourite Florence sandwiches here! The pistachio croissant was amazing as well (made from brioche!). Comparable prices to some of those famous must-visit sandwich shops but I liked this sandwich better. I tried the zucchini and cheese one and the bread was SO fluffy and light. Sweet staff as well, though they don't speak English, they were patient with me and my questions.

No complaints! Really yummy and was a good break from sauce and cheese. Inside is really cute. Great place to drink a coffee and do some computer work. Outside area is nice and there’s an inside that overlooks with floor to ceiling windows. Staff were very friendly and brought our food to our table! Enjoyed

Truly the best bagels in Florence. Sometimes all you want is a bagel with cream cheese. And they have all the classic bagel choices with flavors of cream cheese. We had breakfast here during our stay at a nearby Airbnb and we absolutely loved it! The croissant was delicious and the coffee was just superb! The place is buzzing with locals in the morning, many food of whom are just grabbing a coffee and pastry at the bar, so you can easily get a table. Must visit if you’re staying in the area!

Beware most of the food is ice cold even if it’s supposed to be a dish served hot. But... it was winter when I visited. Fairly friendly (uncharacteristic) service. A good place for a snack in the via Gioberti zone!

This was a lovely cafe near our hotel which we frequented daily. The coffees were good and they had a great selection of patisserie which were delicious both savory and sweet. It was always crowded and seems to be frequented mainly by locals. The prices were very reasonable and indeed cheap for cappuccino

Nice, quality and classy place. We were there around 1:30, Friday, they were quite busy, place is noisy and patrons seemed mostly locals, not tourists. Great selection of food, superb classic espresso. Food is a bit pricey (3 items you see on pics came at 22 euro) but tastes great and well made. Waiter was attentive and friendly but cashiers were not. For that and for absence of clear pricing on display I took minus one star. But I recommend this place and would go again. They say good things come in small packages and, in the case of this little store, they are not kidding! Room enough for maybe 3 people to be inside perusing, but they move quickly so don't worry if you have to wait in line. My husband developed a deep love for the butter cookies with apricot jam, so much so that we went back twice during our time in Florence! We also tried their small tarts- the one with almonds is incredible. Not overly sweet, and light but with some real structure in the crust to hold it all together. One of the best bakeries we have found anywhere (including Paris!). Fantastic!

We went to 3 different bakeries and finally found this little seasonal cake called castagnaccio which is a chestnut cake with dried fruits and in this case rosemary and pine nuts. The bakery is very tiny but had a variety of sweet and savory goods! The castagnaccio was very tasty and not too sweet at all!

One of the best schiachatta i have tried . Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with good combination of the saltiness and some olive oil , enhanced the whole taste . Highly recommended !

Real Austrian patisserie and bakery heritage in Florence. Bread is made from imported Austrian flour and the rest of the cakes, croissants. Everything is very tasty and fresh, and feels like in Vienna. Coffee lovers will find here Julius Meinl Austrian coffee maker. Quite surprising in Florence but definitely worth to visit and taste.

Melaleluca was on my list before my arrival in Florence. I managed to have breakfast on my last day and would definitely have chosen if I stayed longer. They start early in the morning, I was there around 8:30 AM and it was almost full, but you can also grab some breakfast pastry and coffee. I tried poached eggs on toast, cinnamon roll (one of the best) and cappuccino. They has good variety of pastry, also pumpkin spiced rolls. The service was very lovely and food was served really fast. Very nice place to enjoy your breakfast near Arno river.

We had breakfast here and it was absolutely magnificent. The staff was fantastic, and the service was super super quick. We had the BLT with a fried egg and it was out of this world, slightly spicy cooked at the right temperature on a fantastic warm bagel. My family had the avocado toast, and it was also very good. The bacon was super crispy. The place is very calm close to the center of Florence but right by the river without a lot of pedestrian traffic. The flat white with almond milk was excellent and vanilla latte with oat was also very good. They also offer watermelon juice and coconut water, which are served fresh and cold. Very few places offer this in Florence. Prices where good for the quality and freshness of the product This is a great healthy option to have brunch our breakfast in Florence. We would definitely come back to try the pastries as well.

Such a lovely cafe. Came for brunch each morning we stayed in Florence. Wait time was less than 5 minutes - you may have to wait longer in a bigger group, but the QR code makes queuing up easy! Coffee, matcha, food and service was excellent. Will definitely be back!

Incredible service! Wonderful food. Best Matcha I’ve ever had (got it with their vanilla syrup). Our server cared about mine and my husband‘s allergies and made sure we were comfortable with what we ordered.

The hype is real! This is some of the most delicious food we’ve had on our trip. The meals feel familiar, but the flavors are distinctly unique. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu but I highly recommend the strawberry pancakes and the hasbrowns! Also the scrambled eggs are seasoned (which doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but for us it is). On top of that, the staff is really kind and inviting. We will be back for sure to try more of the menu.

We found this restaurant from a YouTube vlog on Florence. The restaurant is small but they make the space work. Of our 4 mornings in Florence, we ate here twice even though our hotel had a full breakfast included. The servers are friendly and organized even though the place is always busy! We ordered a birthday cake for a friend's 40th birthday. Masha made the ordering process so easy and seamlessly took care of delivery (even though it wasn't easy since we were delivering to a home rental without a lot of detail and were working via email across time zones and borders). The cake was absolutely delicious - the whole group couldn't stop raving about how yummy it was - and the custom decorations were so well done. This could have been a really stressful situation trying to arrange a cake across country borders with a very high risk of failure if it didn't arrive for the celebration. Thank you Masha and team for helping to make the birthday weekend a success!

I liked the fluffyness of the croissant and the coffee was awesome as everywhere in Italy (as a German I can truly say that). I did not like the style so much. The glass and the mirrors gave me a nineties vibe. If you do not speak italian you have to use sign language as in pointing to what you want.

For my 2 weeks trip in Italy, this coffee place was definitely one of the best. Their coffee was comforting with great flavors. The server communicates in English well. Their prices were crystal clear, didn’t ripped off tourists. The cookies were yummy. The only thing was I wish they had more pastries choices.

Really arrogant guy. Would not even let me sit down while he was dialing in his espresso. I thought maybe the attitude was because he was The Coffee Guy. But after waiting with the attitude the coffee was terrible. He said blend of Brazil and Uganda. I am sure it was Brazil Cirado and Ugandan Robusta. Horrible swirl and his attitude was just silly.

What a sandwich! One of the best in the world. Check that, the absolute best! I was here over a year ago but sometimes I still wake up thinking about the crunchy bread and soft filling inside. If you’re ever in Florence make sure you buy a hotel room without the breakfast option and instead get all your breakfasts at this place. My first time here was awesome and I went at a perfect time because there were only a few people inside. The guy who took my order gave good service and the food came pretty fast. We were walking around on a Sunday afternoon after our Vespa winery tour and found a place to sit down near Plaza San Marco. Even though it was busy, we sat at the sidewalk cafe surrounded by beautiful plants with a privacy barrier so you felt like you were in a garden. The waiter was very kind and attentive and brought us potato chips and peanuts along with our water and drinks. Great service friendly staff. Definitely would come back here.

A couple of months ago something changed and cornettos became small, burned with a small amount of filling. They kept the price the same, while downgrading their product twice in size. Perfect for the occasion. We needed a 30 minute break from the rain and to rehydrate and found 2 comfy chairs here with a custom juice, water and most delicious chai latte. I've had many chai lattes but this one was hands down the best to date! Prices were mediocre but still cheaper than Starbucks. Also, on the receipt you can get the wifi code and browse for free while chilling. They also have some good looking pastries which I didn't have room for. Also available were restrooms in the back.
