I came across EIS CAFE on Tiktok when I visited Birmingham all the way from London last week. I was super excited to try the cookie dough with hot brownie and I must say it tasted 10/10. Very delicious. The menu looked incredible with a wide choice of desserts to choose from so I’d love to try the milkshakes next time, hopefully. However, customer service was not great. The man that took my order barely spoke, did not smile whatsoever, no ‘thank you’ and no kind gestures so that definitely ruined the atmosphere. While the deco and menu is amazing, it’s very important for staff to also be welcoming. The staff that took my order was not approachable at all, so even when I ordered an additional strawberry mojito for takeaway I felt very uncomfortable and I felt like I’m bothering the member of staff. I surely shouldn’t feel like that as a customer It doesn’t take a lot to have a friendly tone, smile and be approachable towards customers. Would love to dine in again since I’m back in Birmingham next month but the customer service really needs to improve. Thank you very much for the cookie dough though, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Ordered few times and the quality is always amazing ✨ my go to for Dutch pancakes loved the combination of pecans on the top and the ice cream is such good quality ✨ the strawberries are always fresh and juicy 😍

I'd give this a solid 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend the place. The waffle was super airy and fluffy, and the mint ice cream (you get to pick your flavor) with a chocolate drizzle was a great combo. The pizookie, on the other hand, was a bit smaller than we expected, which was a little disappointing, but it was totally worth it because of the Biscoff ice cream. The dessert was shared between two people, and it was the perfect treat!

My favourite dessert spot ever! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, from when they had the chalkboard menu! I still get the Oreo and strawberry cheesecake milkshake even though it’s not on the menu anymore, and they always make it for me 🥲. The desserts are amazing, the staff are lovely, and it never disappoints!

Eis Café is an excellent little spot with a diverse menu, offering some interesting and rare finds that make it stand out. However, the customer service was disappointing. In a business where customer interaction is integral, the lack of warmth was noticeable. There were no smiles or welcoming gestures, and when I attempted to engage with the staff by asking for a recommendation, the response was disinterested and lacking energy. While the food and ambiance were enjoyable, the poor service detracted from the overall experience. Consistent, genuine hospitality is just as vital as the menu itself, and unfortunately, this was missing. Overall though , thank you for having me.

I really love milkshake but I always go for something vanilla or close to it. When make the order brother Hassan and Sid really recommend the locoshake fudge brownie and roasted marshmallow. They really insisted on the recommendation. Honestly am not a big on chocolate but I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed there recommendation. 100% I will be reorder this in the future 😁

Excellent food and service. The sandwiches were an unexpected delight, the flavours working together to provide a unique and welcome experience. The desserts were wholesome and satisfying, with fluffy cakes and warm custard. The Mojito was intensely refreshing. Additional seating is available upstairs so medium-large groups can also be accommodated. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience at Dolce! Sam served us with such professionalism and a friendly attitude. The service was quick, attentive, and made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Really appreciate the effort and care Sam put into making sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend visiting Dolce and asking for Sam if you want top-notch service!

Opened until 2am it’s a lovely late night dessert spot. Tried something new the “gold edition baklava sundae” loved the pistachio gelato but unsure of the mix of coconut ice cream with it? The San Sebastián cheesecake was creamy and lush. Would’ve gave it 5 stars had they not forgotten 2 scoops of ice cream which were bought to us after we he finished everything else.

Had a great experience! The ambiance was absolutely beautiful — such a nice place to relax. I tried the Lotus Biscoff cheesecake, and it was honestly one of the most delicious desserts I’ve had. The staff were really good too — I accidentally left my drink at the reception, and they kept it safe for me until I came back. Lovely service, amazing desserts, and a perfect atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointing experience at Dolce Desserts. Despite placing my order first, others who ordered after me received their items well before I did. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, so I went to do my grocery shopping and returned on time—only to find that my order hadn’t even been started. The staff only began preparing it when I asked, and when I pointed out the delay, I was completely ignored. To make matters worse, when I finally received the order and took it home, it was a complete mess. The brownie and ice cream were packed together in a way that left it all smudged and soggy. Definitely not worth the wait. I went back to the store to return the item and thankfully got a refund. Most of the staff were rude and dismissive, except for one helpful lady who understood the issue and processed my refund. Really disappointing service overall—wouldn’t recommend.

Popped into this place specifically to pick up the Dubai Dream Cake for my nephews birthday. Everyone who tried it loved it. Had the Matilda cake while we waited and that hit the spot. 10 out of 10 👍🏾

Crooks they have a poster on their window offering buy 1 get 1 free but it’s £12.50 if you wish to get this deal if you just want the 1 it’s £6.95 😂 any how my mistake i still decided to give them a go once they got it ready it was gross (white thing on top is Tuna ) maybe 5% Tuna and 95% cheap mayo the spuds was cold and hard went straight into the bin literally threw £12.50 in the bin. Can’t see them lasting long hopefully the next shop to open here will be good 🤞

Have been to this place twice since the renovation. They've done a very good job. Cosy and calming atmosphere with ample seating and different seating options. We had the French toast and the famous Matilda cake. AMAZING! Absolutely loved the Matilda cake, creamy, dreamy and delicious. You could share with another person as you won't be able to finish it by yourself!! The French toast was delicious and well portioned. The coffee was nice and I can't fault the service. I didn't get her name but the woman who served us was very friendly and helpful. Definitely go down there especially if you love indulgent cakes.

Lovely quiet cafe. Has a great selection of waffles and crepes and an all-day lunch menu with many non-dessert options as well. I was skeptical about the Chicken waffle but tried it any way and it was delicious, highly recommend. Bueno crepe was very tasty as well.

Went in to order a Matilda cake and a loaded brownie for takeaway. The place was decorated really nicely. Service was quick and the desserts were very rich and tasty. The Matilda cake is one of the best available these days.

Terrible experience today. Not the usual customer service nor the the quality of the Spanish latte. Spanish latte did not taste anything like a Spanish latte. I have attached two pictures, one from today where latte is flat and hardly tastes of coffee and the other picture from my previous visit. Complained to the assistant to be told nothing can be done. Not even offered to make another one or any effort to alleviate the situation by offering to make another one or even offer a refund. Other ordered items were fine.

Visited a few weeks ago to catchup up with my friend. The interior was beautiful, it was pretty quite. The service was outstanding and quick. The menu had a good variety and the food did not disappoint! The coffee was made to perfection also looked stunning! Hard to find a place where the food is as amazing as the interior! Thank you, will deffo be back again

I think what attracted me most was the ambiance, well layout decor and jazz playing in the background. The staff are always friendly and then the food is good, fresh and very well presented. Overall a good place to relax. The aircon can be a little chilly at times but with the heat outside, it's a pleasure. Returned to the Waffle Project today for a chicken salad. And once again, I was not disappointed. For those a little hungry, the jacket with two filling, coleslaw and green salad will certainly fill that hole.

Went for brunch had the Full Breakfast and 2 desserts. Food was delicious and full of flavour and extremely well presented. Service was excellent, extremely polite and helpful. Keep it up guys, see you guys again.

I'm not a huge fan of these overly priced desserts places onky came to this as was out with a mate who took us here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The place looked amazing, the service was 10/10. The brother who served us knew about the menu and gave his recommendations after asking what we normally like to have. And the desserts were absolutely delicious. I had the chocolate waffle which was crisp on the outsideand fluffy on the inside, the toppings were generous, mate had the pistachio waffle which was really nice aswel and another had the cruffle. The food was fresh, portion size was excellent (like a meal in itself) Enjoyed every bite. Will definitely be coming back again.

Made an order for two milkshakes and an apple tart at 23:30. I was told by uber the order should be with me within 15min. At 00:00 I called the store as my order hadn’t been delivered. They said they were having trouble getting a delivery driver. The guy who answered let me know that my order had been sitting there since around 23:40. I asked him if he could make my order from fresh, which he said he couldn’t. He said there was nothing that they could do to help! When the order arrived at 00:15, the milkshake had melted out. The apple tart and custard was icy cold. £20 wasted on crap!! I will NEVER EVER spend money with this franchise again. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Really disappointed with the service and what I received. Absolutely disgusting. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Horrible Smell & Out of Date – Major Food Safety Concern As soon as I opened the box, an overpowering, foul smell hit me. The saffron milk cake was clearly out of date—and I paid £10.25 for it! Absolutely unacceptable. I would have preferred the order be cancelled rather than receiving something so revolting and unsafe. The stench was so intense it made me feel sick and lingered in my home long after. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a serious food safety issue. Imagine if a child or someone unable to detect smells had eaten this. The consequences could have been severe. Sending out expired food with such a strong, rotten odour shows a complete lack of standards. Disgusting and deeply concerning.

I had a wonderful experience at Heavenly Desserts and a big part of that was thanks to Hasnain. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. From helpful suggestions to fast, friendly service, he really went above and beyond. The desserts were delicious, and the service made it even better. Definitely someone who adds a lot of warmth and professionalism to the place. Highly recommend!

I went to Haute Dolci with friends to celebrate my birthday. Since our group was large, we were seated upstairs in a private room. Neelam was very accommodating in serving us, explaining everything about the menu and facilitating the service. Everyone was satisfied and I certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys desserts and sweets.

Amazing dessert place the food tasted amazing, theres alot of variety on the menu so there is plenty to choose from you wont be disappointed. Some things are priced well but some things are on the expensive side considering how small the portions are. Toilets can be found on site but there are no men and women seperate toilets unfortunately its shared facilities.

An exceptional experience from start to finish! We were welcomed and looked after by Shahan, who was absolutely outstanding. Kind, attentive, and highly professional, he made sure we were comfortable and took care of us throughout the entire meal. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and served at the perfect temperature. Every detail was clearly thought through — both in the kitchen and in the service. A big thank you to Shahan and the whole team for such a memorable moment. I highly recommend this restaurant, whether you’re coming as a couple, with friends, or with family. The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere very warm.

We went as a couple. There were a group in front of us waiting in the queue, the waitress saw us and when we told her we were only a two, a table was given to us. Plenty of options on the menu. We went for the Ferrero Sunday and the Cheat something or the other. Our order arrived promptly, quicker than I expected which was a positive. Taste was good. The service was great, plenty of staff around and happy to help. Music was blasting a bit too loudly for my liking. Toilets at the back of shop. 5/5

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed in by Neelam. The desserts were excellent along with a quick turnaround time once ordered. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is outstanding.

Went there yesterday and the place has definitely downgraded. On arrival the waitress told us to scan the QR codes on the table to view the menu, which we did. It then took her 30 minutes to come back to us to take our order. We tried to call her over before but she was too busy talking to the staff behind the counter. The service was incredibly slow, and when the food did arrive there was a fly in it. The waitress, however, was kind enough to replace it. Once we had finished we went to pay and when the man behind the counter gave us the receipts we found the prices had increased in comparison to the ones on the online menu. When we told him he just said that that was the old menu and now they’ve changed it. If they know the prices have changed why would they proceed to show costumers the old menu with the old prices? And then do absolutely nothing to compensate the situation? The food was absolutely mediocre, and overpriced for such small portions. Overall it was a below average experience. I mean come on, a restaurant should at least direct its customers to a correctly priced menu! And even if a mistake has been made at least doing something to make up for it! The only nice thing about the place is its decor. All style and no substance.

I've been here few days ago, and while the treats were good, the overall experience left something to be desired. The cookie explosion waffle was really good —rich, indulgent, and super sweet. The pistachio cheesecake was okay, probably I was expecting something more just because of the hype. The hot drinks were a letdown as they were not served hot enough. What surprised me most was the slow service, especially since the shop wasn't busy at the time. Despite the lack of a crowd, it took quite a while for our order to be prepared and served. This detracted from an otherwise enjoyable visit.

Second time at Little Dessert Shop and I have found my perfect dessert; their strawberry sensation waffle is the best waffle I’ve had to date! The waffle batter isn’t sweet so you can keep eating without it getting sickly. The strawberries were fresh and firm and paired perfectly with the chocolate sauce drizzled on top. The sauce was just the right amount and didn’t overpower the waffle flavour. And to top it all off, the subtle tartness of the raspberry syrup added a tangy undertone and elevated the dessert to another level. Would highly recommend! Additionally, their chocolate brownie is soft and fudgy and pairs well with their vanilla and cookies and cream ice-cream. However, their chocolate slabs are bland and dry- definitely needs a recipe change… Regardless I’m looking forward to coming back to try their other waffle varieties and their milkshake selections. - P.R

DO NOT EAT HERE! Report going into food safety about this place. My wife asked if the cakes on display were just display or actually for sale. The guy said they were for sale and was prepared to serve one, until we pointed out that they were covered in a layer of furry dust.... Then we moved onto the ice cream, looking down in front of the ice cream counter there is a large gap between the fridge and counter where you can see all the poison bait traps, always inviting. Then the ice cream fridge itself, no lid or cover was pulled down over it so god knows what dust and other crap is over that ice cream. Then the server. One scoop in and out all the flavours. Many of which had nuts such as kinder, one with pralines.. so much cross contamination that if you have a nut allergy I would severely think again before eating it. Watching to the side for five minutes while people were serving was enough for me to politely decline my wife's offer to buy me an ice cream... Nope.

Staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional with some not even being able to speak basic English. Lady at the till was rude and started arguing with me. I have dined here frequently the tables always seem to be a mess and me having to move plates and rubbish from previous customers because the staff aren’t cleaning up frequently. You’d expect because you have to go up to the counter to order for someone to greet you and take your order immediately but no you’ll be waiting 5 minutes for the staff to take interest in serving you and even then they’re rudeness towards you is actually shocking considering the prices of the items on the menu. The desserts themselves were extremely disappointing. The cookie dough was tiny, undercooked, and served in a cracked pan. I actually fell ill because of the cookie dough.The ice cream for the cookie dough was served in a plastic takeaway container, despite us dining in it looked cheap and unpresentable. The pistachio cheesecake pop was disgusting - it was stale and honestly one of the worst desserts I’ve ever had. It tasted bland, had a strange “fridge” taste, and arrived damaged as if it had been poorly stored or handled. I asked another staff member waiting the tables if she could kindly bring me some ice for my water. Instead of assisting, she rudely told me to “go get it yourself” and pointed to the counter. Her attitude was completely unprofessional. She wasn’t even engaged in other tasks like clearing tables, which were still left dirty from previous customers. It was clear she had no interest in customer service As a well-established brand known for its indulgent desserts and inviting atmosphere, I expected a much higher standard of service, hygiene, and product quality — all of which were severely lacking during my experience. When you contact the customer service they just ignore your email - it just shows how much the company cares about money over their reputation and customer service. They hire incompetent staff members who clearly have no customer service or dessert making experience and do not care about your experience within the store. AVOID THIS PLACE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

It was busy but was served quickly, and food arrived shortly after. Tried the pistachio milk cake for the first time and it was OK. Maybe not a fan of milk cake! The strawberry waffles were amazing, and the portion was huge. My daughter had the Easter egg cookie dough and she loved it. I tried a bit and it was so good. Drinks were expensive, but we had our own. Massive variety of desserts, so something for everyone. Would recommend visiting if you are going that way!

First time actually coming here just because it was close to us and we wanted dessert, the decor is nice but the table seemed to be a bit sticky, the dessert itself was okay not the best considering the price , the pancake was okay but the chocolate had this weird "chalk" like taste, the Iced americano I ordered was okay but not really much ice in the drink, was also given to us in plastic cups even when we had been sitting down. Overall okay experience but will not be coming back lol

Arrived early and enjoyed a really nice champagne cocktail at the bar. Exceptional service. Went for friends birthday. The sparkler and cookie at the end was wonderful. Such a shame that the dessert let you down! Service was amazing (thank you Mo!). Starter and main so nice, for all of us (party of 3). Beautiful setting, luxurious. But if you’re serving a sticky toffee pudding make sure it’s aligned with the price point. It just wasn’t. Sorry to say, as everything else was excellent. The lemon pudding was amazing, so it’s a bit of a shame that one pudding let you down. (It was dry and tasteless).

Came here for birthday lunch. Lovely team, professional and friendly. Every single dish we had was delicious. The prawn cracker was a little too spicy for me though. I’d like to mention the gentle man with the lovely afro who seated us and tall Byron who attended to us were both great! I’ll be back again 😁 Thank you team!

Gretel, was fantastic! She truly elevated our dinner. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine list and suggested a perfect pairing for the steak. She kept our drinks refilled without being intrusive, and the timing of the courses was flawless. She had a wonderful, cheerful attitude even though the restaurant was packed. Definitely ask for Gretel if you visit!"

We had the most amazing experience at Tattu Birmingham! Megan was absolutely lush. She genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. She made our night feel really special. The food was insane. Every dish on the Emperor Menu was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. We will definitely be returning very soon.

We went to Tattu Birmingham on October 30 and we got the Emperor’s Choice between the two of us. It involved a set of starter, a set of mains and a dessert that our waitress mentioned contains most of Tattu’s signature dishes! The food was amazing, full of flavour and well presented! There were lots of options for drinks and seems to be a specially curated experience. Atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Service was exceptional! We had Vahbiz who was just excellent. She was attentive, friendly, charismatic and made sure we got all what we wanted and needed throughout the night! Would definitely recommend and at different times of the year as they seem to have seasonal dishes and drinks!

First time here, didn’t expect it to be so nice and cool! Really nice setting, cool background music, an AMAZING service and DELICIOUS food. Ionut, our host, was on top of everything and made the experience smooth and relaxing. Everything was perfect, flavour, portions and presentation. The margarita (tattu’s favourite) was SO good. Came for my birthday meal and it was amazing! Food was delicious and it’s such a nice vibe. Byron our server was amazing, attentive and lovely. Would 100% recommend to all!

I travelled from Leicester to try The Ivy after hearing so much about it, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The place looks great, but the service felt rushed, our mains came out quickly after starters, which made it hard to relax and catch up with my friend. There wasn’t much variety on the menu, and while the food was decent and the drinks were okay, nothing really stood out. Staff were polite, but not as polished as I’d expected. Overall, a nice spot, but not quite a five-star experience.

As ever the Ivy maintains its most fantastic ambience and classy service. Our food was absolutely amazing! Presentation, colour and taste was just perfect! Compliments to both the chefs and the front of house staff for their most professional and skilled efforts. I must comment on the wine mark up! We ordered a bottle of Chablis with our meal which, although a nice accompaniment, was charged at around £76. This wine can be purchased in most wine outlets for around £23! Based on how amazing the food was, I personally would rather pay more for my food than feel mugged by an overly inflated wine menu! That said, if you fancy feeling like the most special people on the planet for a cpl of hours, the staff (all of them from the front door and back) have it absolutely nailed! Excellent service, food and environment! We both decided for the little known Summer at the Ivy set menu - excellent value for money with a glass of champagne included. My crispy duck salad was excellent, as was my minute steak. The deserts were both great, but the white chocolate vanilla cheesecake with mango sorbet was the best. Would recommend the visit - although with some remarks: the Sunday roast, which cost almost the same as the 3-course menu, looked sad and overcooked. Other menu items also seemed exorbitant expensive. Drinks have London prices (a 330ml beer costs £6.5). Is it worth going? Yes. Are the prices on the menu consonant with the experience? Not sure, unless you know what to chose.

Always decent food and great service. Perfect for almost any occasion. They don’t allow decorations for celebratory events, so just bear that in mind if you’re planning something special.

I have to say the food was disappointing. I wanted to order the soufflé which wasn’t available so we took the waiters suggestion of their Asian salad which had the tender stem broccoli and salad was fine overall. However I would expect them to offer another starter as my main also had the same tender stem broccoli! My husband ordered the avocado dip which hardly had any avocado at all. It tasted more like a coconut/ yogurt based dip very similar to a dosa chutney! His main dish was an overcooked chicken. The only saviour was the creme brulee which was absolutely flawless. The staff were polite and the decor was beautiful. I had heard very good things about the restaurant and had high expectations but sadly won’t be going back due to the basic faults in the food especially given the price!

A lovley restaurant with nice decor and great location. We really enjoyed our starters and desserts (the duck salad and the cheese souffle were both incredible!) however our main course meals were average in comparison and not of the quality we would expect for the price paid. We've had better at cheap pubs. The birthday dessert was a lovely surprise and tasted great although i wish there had been some mention of it before we ordered desserts ourselves as quite a bit of it ended up going to waste as we couldn't manage it on top of the 3 courses we'd already eaten, this is a high quality problem of course :) but i hate to see things going to waste! Service was good overall, we appreciated the call a few days before to talk through the food allergies mentioned on our booking, and in general experienced good service with friendly welcoming staff although it was difficult to get staff attention to order more drinks when our glasses were empty, the cocktails were however delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the experience but probably wouldn't return as feel its quite overpriced for the standard of food/service we received and there is room for a little improvement overall on the offering here.

We celebrated my partner’s birthday at The Ivy Birmingham and it was wonderful. The setting is elegant and beautifully designed, the food was delicious, and the service made the evening feel special. A perfect place for a celebration.

Went for brunch on Sunday. It looked good from inside and quite aesthetic. We were excited to be here but disappointed by lack of brunch options. We had a full vegan breakfast but replaced tofu with eggs because they didn’t have a veg breakfast option. Also ordered French toast that came with ice cream and that was quite nice actually. The vegan breakfast had tater tots few of them which our server dropped on the floor next to us while keeping the plates which is alright but she looked at it and then just ignored. I think that she could have atleast apologised or acknowledged. just kept the food on the table and that behaviour was off-putting. Lack of respect for the food and your customer. The service was really slow given that the place was almost empty on Sunday morning. Had to wait more than 15 mins for someone to take our order and also 15-20 mins after we finished the food just sitting waiting for someone to come and get the bill. Coffee was mild and disappointing. The only good thing for us was the French toast and the eggs with avocado. The bread in vegan breakfast was half burnt and too hard. and the mushroom didn’t taste good. Beans were good though. Disappointing experience. So many other options in mailbox for brunch!

Lovely looking restaurant. Friendly welcoming staff and a nice selection on the menu. We ordered the chicken burger - good flavour, well cooked but quite a small portion of fries. My son ordered the bao buns and a side of fried, they were nice, well cooked, quite sweet in flavour. My daughter had the halloumi fries and onion rings which she really enjoyed and I tried the shakshuka for the first time, it was quite nice, pretty spicy and a big portion, I couldn't eat it all. It could have done with more sourdough toast with it though to soak up the tomatoes and the egg. Overall a nice meal and happy Ilto tey something new.

Waited over half an hour for our food. Waiter didn’t bother bringing over table water as requested when ordering. The coffees arrived luke warm. The food arrived cold! Overall poor service, and very slow chefs. Won’t ever go back

I would say first off, the highlight was the service we received from Jess, even when the whole place was full she was attentive and made sure to chase up the bar staff for our drinks regularly. Had an amazing time at bottomless brunch there's a decent variety of cocktails which can be expanded for an added cost. It's best if you have a reservation as this place can get quite full, especially on a Saturday.

Did bottomless brunch. Have done many of these in different places and just feel there isnt much of a selection. The service was great though and they kept the drinks flowing

Stumbled across this place whilst visiting Birmingham and oh my it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a mixed grill & baklava. Friendly and attentive staff with clean facilities. We are already planning our next visit.

Visited Comptoir Libanais yesterday for lunch. It was packed so you definitely should book a table. We shared a mezze of vegan dishes. Falafels which were crispy but light and fluffy inside and perfectly spiced. Hommos silky smooth served with warm flatbread. Batata harra, amazing roast potatoes, crispy, slightly spiced with a kick of chilli. Tabbouleh, so tasty and zesty. Fattoush, a gorgeous salad with mint and crispy pitta bread and finally a garlic and Za'atar flatbread, if you have not tried Za'atar you should, it's a wonderful mix of herbs and it was a taste sensation. We had drinks and it cost around £25 each and we were not hungry when we left. Service was great, very attentive but not pestering. My only critism was there was only one vegan dessert on offer, vanilla ice cream so we did not bother. We would definitely return and highly recommend. Great for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters.

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, it was out first visit and we were very impressed. Amazing, friendly staff, especially Emma our server. Great menu with plenty of vegetarian choices. The restaurant was busy but that was great as it had a lovely lively atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the platter for two, priced at £27 plus service charge. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it to be good value for money. For the price, the portion size and overall quality fell short of expectations. While the presentation was fine, the quantity and balance of dishes didn’t feel generous enough to justify the cost, especially once the service charge was added. This might work better as a light sharing option, but as a main meal for two, it left us disappointed. A more substantial offering or fairer pricing would make the experience much more worthwhile. In the picture the platter for two (there were two pitas not captured).

We've been coming here for 7 years and we still love the decor and the food although the portions are quite small and the bill gave us a shock, especially as they added on £8 tip without telling us. We don't feel the food is worth the price.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome that instantly set the tone for the evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. The food was exceptional, every bite was cooked to perfection. The steak was one of the best I've ever had, tender, juicy, and full of flavour, the sides and starter was just as impressive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was spot-on, very relaxed, stylish, and ideal for a night out. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a place where people feel comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommend this place to any steak lover (or food lover in general). We had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday, and I can't thank George and Raffaele enough for making it so special! The food and drinks were top-notch, and the atmosphere was just perfect. The service was spot-on too; everyone was friendly and attentive, which really enhanced our experience. The knowledge was also amazing, and we thank everyone for serving us with the utmost respect! We'll definitely be back for another visit soon!

Visited for dinner today with my fiancée for her birthday, and it was bloody amazing. The food was very tasty - I had the prawns for the starter and rump steak for the main course and it was very delicious, cooked to perfection. There was a big selection of drinks, which were also very tasty, and the service was amazing. Thank you Tia for being so welcoming, kind and friendly, you really made it special for us. The weekday lunch menu is an incredibly good deal for the quality and service at Gaucho. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the allergens on each menu item, and was accommodating of the dietary requirements in our group. Wide selection of wines, which again the waiter was able to talk us through in detail.

Fabulous steak, as you might imagine. Equally the starters were freshly prepared and delicious. My tuna tartare melted in the mouth, although I would have preferred less of the dressing applied to it. My only complaint is that the wine list starts at £40 per bottle for a very average Argentinian malbec

I just happened to be walking past Gaucho and I only went in because of the lunch set menu sign outside. It was a Wednesday lunch time, so the place was quiet. Adriano looked after me very well. The prawn chicharron starter was very nice. The steak was lovely and the chips were ok. The rum-based pecan old fashioned was very nice.

The food couldn't be faulted. Lovely heartwarming dishes with great flavour, the taste was so fresh, really lovely. The only thing I would say is that the atmosphere was strange, there was no music, we were one of 5 tables in a small place but it was so quiet and as people left we felt so awkward just having a conversation. Even with 5 tables there was no buzzing chit chat it just felt so cold and hostile, which is such a shame for a place with good food in a stunning location. There were great vegan options available which was also a win! I would recommend this place for the food 100%.

I wanted an English pie right upon my arrival to Birmingham, and Google maps suggested this place. It was really nice I had a combo with pea mash and mashed potatoes + a pint of lager. Great lunch

I had pork scratchings for a starter, they could have been straight out of a packet. I had a Steak pie with a red wine sauce, french fries with a cheese topping and gravy. The pie crust was a little hard but tasted great. The sticky toffee pudding with custard was so nice, really could have eaten another one. I was served by Roo who was friendly and attentive.

The Mooless Moo was great, but not as great as the vegan fritter you can get as part of the Mother Earth meal. Really fair prices, good vegan options too. And, to top it all off, Alex (my server) was a delight throughout. Would absolutely come again.

Quick service. Excellent and consistent food. Great veggie and GF options. The server Reuben I had recently was very efficient and friendly. I have been coming here for years, both alone and with friends and it has never disappointed. Excellent stuff.

I found a wowcher deal for afternoon tea for 2. The service was good, and the staff members were attentive. The presentation of the afternoon tea was really cute! I do think it would've been nice if they gave more variety of desserts as the desserts were quite small. They gave 4 different sandwich flavours , all of which i did enjoy. It also came with a hot drink each, the staff just gave us tea, without allowing us to choose. It would've been better if they gave us an option to pick which hot drink we'd like. But overall it was nice, we did enjoy it.

We went here today after having a brunch. Place was lovely and busy. Even though there were quite a few staff service was a little on the slower side. Luckily we weren’t in any rush and when we did get to speak to staff, they were amazing. Really went out their way for our requests. I ordered a milk cake and whilst it was a very nice cake I expected it to be as other milk cakes and drenched in milk so I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t. Overall a nice experience and I would recommend :)

We visited on a Saturday afternoon at 5 pm for afternoon tea. The service was good. The staff were friendly and the afternoon tea was all lovely. It was nicely presented and really good value

The interor and the menus are beautiful. We have experienced some problems with service - we waited 1 hour for our order and then didn't get the full order but the owner came to us and apologies personally. That was nice, but he claimed it was super busy when it wasn't. The Kinder Bueno waffle was delicious and the Sundae looked mad. I would not recommend the red velvet cookie dough - it tasted artificial.

Even though I love desserts, I don't often frequent these types of places as usually find them to be devoid of flavour and overtly expensive... however, Pirlo's massively surprised me! Not only was it nice and clean inside, the food didn't take an age to come (despite them apologising when we arrived for being short staffed and advising us of a wait) but most importantly, the food was brilliant! Full, deep waffles, covered in lashings of your chosen toppings and sauce! I was really, really impressed with the quality and will definitely be going back! Plus my other half's vegan waffle was delicious! 🤤🤤❤

Visited as a request for my daughter’s 14th birthday. We were the only people present at8pm, the drinks were slow food was missing along with dessert. Not impressed with the service. Asked for a refund and I’m assuming the boss tried to talk us into coming back as they have a relaunch planned. This didn’t help immediate situation and disappointment. Such a shame and a let down from when we were previously there.

It was such a cool experience! The quality was good, and there was a nice variety. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I really liked it. The only thing is that I think the price was a bit high, but it was still worth it. Definitely recommend it!

La pop ! Is best for trying new varieties of lollies and cheesecakes and chose different varieties of topping to taste more more yummy . Enjoyed so much having pistachio lolly and strawberry cheesecake. It was best and the customer service is so good . She explained very well .. thnk you

One of my favourite ice pop places! Such a nice experience — the lollipop flavours on their own (without toppings) are really nice if you’re craving something light and refreshing. With toppings, they’re cool too if you’re in the mood for extra sweetness. I’ve visited more than once, even during the winter!

We ordered Suprimo boxes as a treat for our office. They were beautifully presented and delicious. The different flavour combinations provided the perfect lunchtime treat. Everyone loved them. The team were really helpful with questions we had about the order and delivery making it a really easy process. They were also really reasonably priced.

People describe it as a subway of ice-cream. Easiest way to describe it and it is 100% halal. Icecreams are really nice and your kid will enjoy it.

Me n my children got her got seated had to wait 25mins to place my order to be told there's no waffle mix so I couldn't have 1 and no red velvet cake so chose a alternative ... to wait another 30 mins to not even get our drinks to be ignored when I'm trying to get waiters attention. We all walked out in the end . I would never return. Wish I could give 0 rating staff need training and manners .

Ridiculous service! I've been about 5 times since the place opened and the waiting times seem to be longer each time. The staff all huddle by the counter and have a chat. Oblivious to customers waiting to be seated (not just us, but once we were seated we watched other people waiting and even seating themselves, while staff were just chatting). Once seated, we had to eventually walk to the counter to tell them we were ready to order. We ordered a milkshake and had to ask them twice when the order would be bought over. Both times we were told 5 more minutes, but I could clearly see they hadn't even started. With 3 people behind the counter, they could have at least made a start. After waiting 25 minutes and seeing the couple before us walk out, we gave them the 5 more minutes they asked us and then we left. Bunch of kids running the place and huddling together (probably talking about Pokemon or the Tweenies or whatever), they need better management at this place to tell the staff to earn their pay and do their damn job.

Went here second time. First time, they served half baked cookie dough. Went back again, thinking it to be better service this time. The service was in shambles. Waiter refused any item selected, he said nothing with ice-cream available. They had plenty of ice-cream on display. Had a nice milk shake in McDonald's opposite. Never ever going there again. Please dont try this place. Just read all negative comments below.

The desserts are decent quality which is why I have given 2 stars, otherwise I would give this place 1 star because the service is awful. A queue to get a table and a 45 minute wait for the desserts. The staff seem uninterested in providing a good customer service. They all congregate around the bar area chatting amongst themselves. This place could be so much better if they sped up their customer service, because the desserts aren't difficult to make.

Lovely interior and great food but the service is just awful. Have to wait ages to be served and when you want to get the waiters attention they just stand around talking to the other workers. The ice creams didn't have signs on them so you have no idea what flavour they are apart from the strawberry and cookie dough. Be prepared for a 30 minute wait for 1 portion of churros that were made from frozen served with chocolate sauce, the girls on the table next to us waited over 45 for 3 milkshakes. Staff looks lost with no one person in charge. Takes way too long for staff to realise the your order needs to be taken. Asked the guy taking payment why the service was so slow and he replied theres 3 trainee behind the counter, to which i replied theres alot of unhappy lookin customers he then said "we still get lot of bussiness". Theres alot of dessert places in brum that will value your custom plz dont waste your money and time here!!!

Was disappointed so much with the service received. The place was busy. The server sat us down then served the table she sat after us. I did complain but was told because the child had come up to ask to be served she was serving them. Despite the fact she sat us at a table first. My little boy needed the bathroom. They needed a good clean. We order churros, waffles and a milkshake. They were not served all together. We had ask for the milkshake which was made but left on the side. Need more staff to create the desserts. Proper staff training needed. This is a prime location but they need to up their game.

Great prices, you can feed the family on a budget. It's great food at great prices. The only downside is the service can sometimes have a hiccup. If they have a better intuitive system to push orders through, they wouldn't have any problems. The pictures are of Kunafa cup but we got it on a plate, which is a Kunafa cup with strawberries, chocolate and of course Kunafa, great mix! Their Kunafa is very good quality too. I’ve been going to Jamjar for many years for their lovely desserts and milkshakes. They’ve recently added a good range of smoothies and mojitos to their menu - thoroughly enjoyed by my nephews and I ☺️☺️ great, friendly service as always!

Came here with my dad and had cake and a hot drink as seen it advertised on the poster. Was charged more than what the poster advertised but didn't bother questioning it as it wasn't that much more and thought maybe it had to be a specific cake for the deal. The cakes were quite nice, dad had a Lotus Biscoff and I had chocolate fudge cake. The hot chocolate here is amazing although a bit too sickly especially when you get to the bottom! Would definitely call in again when I have some free time 😋

I regularly got this ice cream and desert parlour whenever it’s sunny. The ice cream is amazing and flavourful, I always get chocolate and banana scoop. A bit expensive but it is in town so that’s the pricing you’re gonna get. I had their waffles before and I really enjoy them too. I’ll always recommend this place.

I was enjoying the weather off work so you know just stopping off anywhere there is coffee and cake. I like an Americano with milk on the side they only had full fat ok no problem, I have noticed these days though these people forget we are customers. Without us you don’t eat just be a bit more friendly. I love to have love in my meals especially from strangers. It was as though I had asked the young girl to come and serve a five course meal at my house. Also please tell me why your going on about cheesecake not been cold enough when you been there all day it was almost 3 o’clock. As I said don’t bother worry bout the cheesecake melting at this time of the day it’s gonna melt in my mouth. It did I enjoyed it and the coffee and polished it off with one scoop ice cream. Damn I love been me, so sorry there won’t be a return, recommendation, or 5 stars based on that but upgrade on your behaviour and people will be happy to come out and support.

Very disappointed was given all broken biscuits for £6. I could buy 3 full cookies from Millie’s cookies for that price, why on earth am I paying £6 for all broken cookies there was not even one full cookie. On top of that the worker (black woman) who served us knew our dietary needs and knew we was Muslims and still gave us a bacon and maple pastry, we was unaware of this till we reached the car. Really disappointed with this service it’s absolutely disgusting serving pork to Muslims how disgraceful. This occurred on the 5th October round 4:40pm hope you trace back to who the worker was as they were rude and asked me how much I paid for my too good to go bag which was weird in itself and then proceeded to give me less then what I had paid for.

Chitty’s Cakes Limited did our wedding cake in Nov 2024 Jules is so lovely and very professional We met her partner at a wedding showcase and we then met Jules at her home to go through plans for the cake It turned out perfect and she even made our dog as a special request Jules even matched the flowers on our cake to our flowers/bouquets the day! I ordered a 60th Birthday cake from Chitty’s Cakes, it was so easy to place an order. I sent Julie pictures of how I wanted the cake to look, and she went above and beyond. The cake was even better than I imagined it to be, and it tasted incredible too! Overall an absolutely incredible cake, was a lovely surprise for my dad who was amazed! I highly recommend!!

Jules made the most beautiful, scrumptious wedding cake for us. We told Jules what we would like and nothing was too much trouble. When we were looking at wedding cakes, we struggled initially as I have coeliac disease. I was going to give up and just have a little supermarket cake for myself when we found Jules. She was able to make me a delicious raspberry gluten free cake, and lots of cupcakes to go with it. By the end of the evening, we had no cupcakes left and most of the top tier cake was gone! People told me they didn't even realise it was gluten free. Everybody also said how delicious the cupcakes were. Neither me nor any of our other gluten free guests had any reaction too, so I would definitely recommend Jules to others who dietary needs.

We talked at length with Julie and chose the perfect cake to match our colour scheme. Very reasonably priced too! All our family/ friends guests absolutely loved it!! We opted for a 3 tier to include salted caramel on the base, red velvet in the middle and chocolate on the top It was delicious!! 😋 There was hardly any left!! The beautiful favours were stunning too. Thank you so much. Julie was amazing! She went above and beyond my expectations for my baby shower cake! I showed her the backdrop layout and theme and she suprised me with the end product! Not only the design was amazing, the cake tasted sooo good!! Even though I was nervous as I went by her reviews and wanted an eggless cake. Ordered a cake for my son 18th birthday. Got to the restaurant to only find ants in the cake. Obviously to the shock none of us thought to take pictures. Returned the cake the next day, staff were rude and tried to take the blame away from themself. I would give 0star if I could. It’s been 3 days and the manager hasn’t called back yet. I will never get my son’s birthday celebration back but I have no intentions of letting this go and will report this to the food standards. I suggest anyone with bad experience to do the same and I will request a refund from my bank.as they refused

Ordered 4 cake slices and all 4 cakes were old. Most likely was left out a few days. Biscuits were stale. Normally its light. Shop wasn’t no help said can’t do anything. Wouldn’t recommend this branch!!!!

I recently picked up a cake from this shop, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing! The cake was beautifully made and tasted incredible — you can really see the care and quality in their work. I’ve noticed some people spreading false information about parking tickets, but I can confidently say that’s not true. We had no issues at all with parking or tickets. This is an amazing shop to buy cakes for your special occasions – the cakes are absolutely scrumptious! I’ve seen a few comments mentioning parking tickets, but as regular customers, we’ve never had any issues. If someone parks carelessly or in the wrong spot, it’s only natural that a ticket might be issued – and in that case, it’s our own responsibility. It’s not fair to blame the shop for mistakes that are outside their control.

Terrible place, wouldn’t recommend. Staff at rude, not everything on menu is available. We ordered ice cream, that didn’t come with the rest of the items ordered, one scoop was already melted. Also ordered a matcha latte, looked absolutely nothing like what was advertised. When we asked they attempted to make it again, that too with a lot of attitude before making it. Second latte never came and when asked they brought out another version what didn’t look like anything what was on the photo. No apologies, just pure attitude from staff. Don’t waste your time or money there.

Let’s start with customer service, pleasant and accommodating.. Went on a weekday late evening and it was quieter than usual I’m guessing as I’ve previously Hera show popular this place is however seemed quiet when my family and I turned up which was perfect as it gave us ample seating options without having to wait around. Lovely brother handed over the menus and the staff gave enough time to order rather than pestering whether we’ve decided what we’d have. A sweet lady took out prder which I’ve added pictures of. Lovely desserts, portions aren’t crazy however I’ve had more on the plate when it came to a cookie dough for the price paid in other dessert places similar to this one nonetheless it was scrumptious. The karak chai wasn’t a favourite as it had an overpowering cinnamon taste to it and slightly watered down is what I think it was because I couldn’t seem to taste the ‘karak’ part of it. Our hot chocolate fell- however before it did the taste was nice and light how I like it whenever I do have it but my niece wasn’t a fan and as it was for her I find it important to disclose that preference. The staff were quick to attend the accidental spill and clean it up without a fuss and accommodate us with a clean new table. (Really sorry about that) I would love for some Victoria sponge dessert to be added to the menu! I had ordered their new carrot cake 2.0 but as it’s new and popular they were sold out apparently so had to miss my chance on having that although I love me a ‘garjar ki halwa’ which is what it was.. maybe next time.. The place was absolutely beautiful looking and yeah sweet place to go :)

I recently visited Heavenly Desserts and had a really lovely experience, all thanks to the wonderful service I received from a waitress named Zara. From the moment I arrived, Zara was attentive and made sure all my needs were met. She was polite and used her manners throughout, which I really appreciated. It’s always nice to be treated with respect and kindness, and Zara certainly did that with a smile on her face the whole time I was there. What impressed me most was how fast the service was. Even though Heavenly Desserts was busy, Zara managed everything smoothly without making me feel rushed. Her positive attitude and friendly nature made the whole visit enjoyable. She was clearly a polite young girl who takes pride in her work, and that really shows in how she interacts with customers. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with genuine warmth, and Zara did just that. She greeted me warmly, checked in regularly to see if I needed anything else, and always responded with kindness and patience. These little things made a big difference to my experience. Heavenly Desserts itself was lovely, but the service truly stood out because of Zara. I left feeling valued as a customer, which is something I don’t always get when I go out. I would definitely recommend Heavenly Desserts to anyone looking for good desserts served with excellent hospitality. Insha’Allah, I will be returning soon, and I hope to be served by Zara again because she made my visit special. May Allah bless her for her kindness and professionalism.

Don’t waste your time or money here! Would not recommend Heavenly Desserts in Moseley at all. We went for brunch and the food was so disappointing. We ordered the Hot Honey Halloumi Flatbread with a poached egg on the side and the Shakshuka. Firstly, the Hot Halloumi Flatbread had 3 main ingredients missing including the flatbread, pomegranate and yogurt. The flatbread we were told about and I said I was happy to have sourdough instead, however it was not sourdough as you can see in the images it was regular brown bread. I was not told the other ingredients would be missing and the waitress Zahraa told me the yogurt had melted into the bread which is ridiculous as yogurt doesn’t melt into bread and become invisible? Also, the Shakshuka came with regular brown bread too. I have attached images of what we were served compared to what the dishes were supposed to look like according to the company’s instagram. To add to this, the food wasn’t served at the same time, the Hot Halloumi Flatbread came 10mins after the Shakshuka and the side of hash brown bites were mushy inside and weren’t crispy. Shocking that the food took so long and came out one at a time considering it wasn’t busy at all at the time we went. Overall, horrible experience and will not be returning.

I’m really sad to say that the experience I had here was not very good. The service was poor and it took over an hour to receive two milkshakes, a coffee, cookie dough and a pancake. All the food came out in intervals and after 40 minutes, we were still waiting for a pancake with Nutella and strawberries to arrive. When asked where the desert was the staff looked confused and then said it will be out in four minutes. After another 10 minutes, it still had not arrived so we decided we were leaving and then it quickly came to our table, so we asked for it to be A takeaway. Was really disappointed with our experience.

Really nice dessert shop, very cozy atmosphere as you step in, not that busy. The decor was elegant and the seating was very comfortable, could spend your time enjoying your dessert without feeling rushed. The staff were lovely and friendly made my experience even better. The presentation to the service was spot on. This is a real hidden gem fairly priced with a lot of good options to choose from the menu. They have offers on Tuesdays that I will be taking advantage of next time. Definitely worth another visit very soon, thank you to all the staff!

I visited Little Dessert Shop in Lozells and honestly, it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. The shop itself has such a warm and welcoming vibe, perfect for relaxing with friends or treating yourself after a long day. The desserts were absolutely delicious – beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavour. A special shoutout to Amber, who made the experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find such genuine customer service these days, and she really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon – highly recommend this place if you’re looking for top-quality desserts and amazing service in Lozells! 🍰🍨

I was travelling from London to North Scottish Coast so thought to stop over late at night for some sweet tooth cravings. I had a cookie dough and a milkshake and both were brilliant in taste as well as size. The owner brother Zain was so nice and welcoming and sent me off with a freebie. kunafa brownie was 10/10. Wanted lots of chocolate on top and the gentleman suggested to have it in a cup to retain most of the chocolate. Genius! Customer service was excellent! Would definitely go back

This is mines ans my kids fave goto place for desserts! The service they provide is always 10/10, feel well catered for whether we eat in or takeaway. Literally all the staff there are nice/ kind and helpful. Hats off to them all & I hope the owner knows, the success of his business comes from the employees he has behind that cash desk! I’m sad to report that this was a distinctly underwhelming experience. My daughter and I decided to pop in for an afternoon drink and a pastry. We normally go to EL&N, however their recent food hygiene rating has put us off, so we thought we’d try somewhere new. Firstly, the general ambience is rather grubby and downmarket: the tables were tacky, the singular a toilet an afterthought and everywhere looked like it needed a good scrub. We had to wait for a table (no problem), however it was almost impossible to catch anyone’s eye, so the whole process was unclear. When we were seated, we were given some rather tired and shabby menus which immediately adhered themselves to the surface of the table. Not to be deterred, we made our choice from the limited selection of pastries and cakes available. I chose the passionfruit cruffin which had seen better days and was still dripping in cooking fat. It was far from the light and delicate laminated pastries that I have tried at artisan bakeries and I felt rather let down. We noticed that the general atmosphere was unfriendly, I suspect that this was partly due to the staff’s fantastic ability to avoid eye contact at all times. Even my daughter noted that she had not seen a single member of waiting staff actually smile during the entirety of our visit. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

TLDR: I’d only recommend this place if you’re getting a pastry from the front. Long wait times (45+ mins) + no cooling system = not a great place to dine in. Came here twice and had very different experiences. When a friend and I grabbed a pastry from the front, we were served and seated right away, even moving to a booth when requested. The atmosphere was great and the interior is very aesthetic and appealing for social media. No complaints here. When I came alone a few months later to order brunch, I had a 2/5 experience. First, it took around 5-10 minutes to be seated with no acknowledgment of the long wait time, even with several moments of eye contact with staff who didn’t seem very rushed, though this can be overlooked. Second, I waited over 45 minutes for my food (not a guess or overestimate) without acknowledgment of any sort. There was a period of around 15 minutes where nothing came out of the kitchen (I had a direct view of where the food exited). During this wait time, it was increasingly apparent how uncomfortable the space was. There was no AC and the building has no windows to open. The only cooling system was a single fan, and with the many skylights, the restaurant felt like a greenhouse. Literally outside the restaurant was cooler than inside and that’s not an exaggeration. The food itself was alright. I ordered the harissa benedict and the only qualm I have with it was that the eggs were almost hard boiled and not runny at all. There was a lot of chorizo on it and the mushrooms were great, however I don’t think I’d pay £14 for it again.

A lovely brunch, but nothing special. We ordered the granola bowl, some toast and some bakes to take home. The sourdough was lovely (although the jam alongside is just a jar, not homemade), and the bowls were okay, albeit quite lacking on the fruit. The bakes we took home were really disappointing. The biscoff cruffin had no biscoff 😅 and the chocolate chip cookie was completely tasteless. The setting itself was lovely, a great spot to meet for a coffee.

I love medicine bakery so I was chuffed to find it open on new street just a walk away from the office! Lunch was delicious! I was excited to have my usual fried chicken but they ran out!!??? Shockkkkk! But hey I got to try something new and went for Turkish eggs! Delicious and very healthy. Lovely space and atmosphere! There are individual tables and sharing tables so make a note of what you want on your booking if you’re fussy!

First time here for breakfast . Very smart place in the mailbox Birmingham. Menu good with lots of lovely choices. My choice-sausage brioche with a side of hash brown. Very tasty. 😁 Rooibos tea. ☕️ Group of four. Made reservations but not really needed. Good service. Comfy seats. Nice clean space. Bakery section cakes etc looked amazing and took selection home 🤣🤣👏 There are other locations in the city 😁 Toilets nice and clean. Child friendly. Disabled friendly. Wheelchair access. Been a few times and usually really enjoy, bit of a shame the food wasn't as good today. I had the vegan brunch with an added poached egg which was more water than egg. My partner had the regular brunch, both of our hash browns felt a bit undercooked. But drinks were lovely and we've been before for pastries which were delicious!

The first time I visited Baskin Robbins was in 2016 and today's experience instantly took me back to that day. The shop smelled the same and the cone tasted exactly like I remembered. I got 6 scoops of ice cream on a waffle cone and 3 in a take away cup. The flavor was spot-on, I rate the ice cream itself 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ However, the lack of parking was a bit of a downside. I had to walk about 15 minutes down Runcorn Road to reach the shop. The 4pm opening time also makes it harder to plan parking around that time. Overall, I'll definitely go back if I find myself in the area, but be prepared to park a little further away!

Absolutely disgusting service and the quality of molten cake was straight from the fridge and wasn’t baked/warmed as described on their menu. As I don’t have a microwave so that’s why I ordered online and paid for the dessert so I expect the dessert as described. That was False selling. I will let my friends and family know and not to order from them.

Visited Baskin Robbins in lady pool road, customer services was good staff was polite and friendly. Shop was quiet and dead around 6pm on Saturday 🤔. Most products were out of stock. We in particular went for ice cakes but only one last slice was there in freezer which we bought and it was not nice in taste. Won’t try again unfortunately. Ice cream was richly flavoured but would not rate over other local desserts around the area. It’s not our local town but often go there to try different food. Baskin Robbins doing much better in other areas.

Visited after a long time, and I have to say I was impressed! Only one female staff member was working, and despite the place being really busy, she handled everything with such dedication, and a smile. She took my order and had my ice cream ready in less than 5 minutes truly commendable service! As for the ice cream… absolutely loved it, just like always. Consistently delicious and worth the visit every time. Hats off to her for making the experience such a positive one!

Server was friendly and did help us choose flavours. The quality and flavours of ice cream were amazing. Shop was quiet so we were served very fast. Parking was awful but not their fault. Would 100% return!

Great dessert place to visit. A fantastic range of good quality ice cream. Plenty of choices and ideal location with plenty going on. Would recommend people to try this place out and experience the dessert qualities they have in stock. Staff are also helpful and pin point to a specific taste that you are looking for, because when it comes to a dessert with all the variety it can be hard to choose what to have but the staff are great at handling a specific taste you want. Chocolate brownies is a standout for me.

I’ve ordered online from Dolce Desserts a few times now. Initially, the food was quite nice, but the quality has significantly declined in recent orders. On multiple occasions, the food I received was burnt. When I contacted the store directly about the issue, I was first told that they couldn’t send a replacement unless I ordered something else through UberEats. I argued that it wasn’t fair to spend more money when the fault was theirs. Eventually, a staff member said I could come into the store on a specific day to get a replacement and specified that they would personally assist me. On the agreed day, I called the store before setting off to confirm the person I spoke with was present. I was told that no one by that name worked there. To make matters worse, the staff kept hanging up on me, saying they were “too busy” to deal with this. When I asked for the manager, I was told they weren’t available. Later, someone (who I assume was the manager) contacted me. Initially, they reassured me that the issue would be resolved, but after texting back and forth, they ultimately said they couldn’t help and advised me to contact UberEats. I have attached photos and videos of the burnt food. In the waffle picture, the burnt condition of the waffle is not really obvious, however, if you look closely, you will be able to see the burnt edges. The photos and videos of the cookie dough are self explanatory. P.s. the cookie dough fell on the floor whilst I was trying to break into it and hence why in the video it is not complete in quantity. This experience was a complete waste of time, energy, and money. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering from Dolce Desserts again.

Ordered Quite the dolce brownie waffle literally only 4 pieces of brownies on it and so much strawberries! What’s the point of advertising it as brownie waffle if you can’t even put a decent amount of brownies very disappointed

Sent a cake design for my son's first birthday and Rose had created it exactly as requested! Was so happy with the design but it was also delicious! Friends and family enjoyed the cake and said it was lovely!

Our wedding cake was an absolute dream! 😍 It tasted amazing, looked gorgeous, and fit our theme perfectly. The service was so lovely, especially since it was our first time ordering. I ordered a cake for my dekha dekhi. It was amazing and the decoration was so detailed. Not only that, the cake tasted amazing too! so happy about the result. I was looking for a good cake baker for my daughter's first birthday. I came across this company and given the beautiful cakes and many followers on Instagram I wanted to order here. I paid £100 for a Smash cake. I had sent a photo to see if they could make it. They could, I got a response via whatsapp, but it really wasn't made the same. The covering/decorating was not as I had hoped and completely crooked. Buttercream was too sweet and you could feel granulated sugar in your mouth, plus the cake itself weighed kilos, instead of a sponge, soft and airy cake I got a very thick, dry and hard cake. Even after I left it outside for hours on their advice. I could have made a cake like that myself. I expected something special for that money After I texted them about my dissatisfaction, my dissatisfaction was not taken seriously. And that if that cake is expensive for me, but cheap for someone else. I threw the cake away completely. We didn't even eat a piece of it, because even as a smash cake my daughter couldn't get a piece off with her hands. I am very disappointed and sad! But my satisfaction is about how you performed there! Thirdly: Again, it was not about paying the money for a cake, but about what kind of cake I got for that money! Nobody forced me to order that cake! Absolutely my choice! But certainly not how a cake should be! You never asked during our conversation how we could solve this! I can add it as an attachment! It was not my intention to get the money back! But on his coffin a better cake! I only wanted to place my dissatisfaction for other people! There is a fortunate possibility for that via Google! I've visited the Bubbleology at Birmingham Bullring a few times now, and it's consistently a great spot for a treat. Most recently, I tried the Bubble Fizz Strawberry drink, and it was really nice—refreshing and full of flavour. Service here is generally fast and the staff are quite helpful, even when it's busy (which it often is depending on the time and day). The main downside is the lack of seating. If you're visiting with kids or hoping to sit and relax, you might be better off getting your drinks to go, especially during peak times. Overall, a solid spot for bubble tea lovers!

Disappointed with Service and Quality at Bullring Branch I visited the Bullring Bubbleology branch on 28th June and was quite disappointed with the experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an older gentleman standing at the counter with the menu turned off. He informed me, rather abruptly, that “we only have fruit teas.” I accepted that and proceeded to place my order. However, the drink I received was room temperature and tasted like tap water with some popping boba – not what I expect from a £5 bubble tea. It was so underwhelming that I ended up throwing it away. Hoping this was just an off day, I returned during the following week and had a much better experience. I was greeted politely by a young lady with glasses and a long name, who was professional and courteous. This time, I ordered a mango milk tea and it was cold, flavourful, and actually worth the money. I understand if a store is running low on ice or ingredients – these things happen. But being served a warm fruit tea at 4pm, when the store closes at 8pm, just comes across as careless and lazy. I hope management ensures a more consistent level of quality and service across all shifts.

1st visit and most likely last. Music so loud you need to raise your voice. A group of 3 in front took at least 10 mins getting their order or payment sorted, far far too long. No apology for the long wait either. Then get ready for the order, which also took a very long time. No smiles, dull & tired looking staff. Drinks were ok nothing too special. Very expensive. 2 stars only because the place is clean and looks nice.

I came in for a drink about an hour ago with my friend and saw the manager loudly yelling at a staff member. It felt quite unprofessional to handle such a matter in front of customers, as it not only created an uncomfortable atmosphere but also undermined the worker's dignity. Shame on the manager!

Have been a few times whilst i was in the bull ring. Lots of variety in flavours, so fully customisable bubble tea options. Really cute neon sign and menu is easy to read and choose from. Staff are friendly and get the drinks made in good time. Nice spaces for sitting too so you can dine in or take it away. Would recommend for place to go with friends

This Hotel Chocolat outlet is both a shop and a cafe. I was attracted by the variety of hot chocolate offerings and wasn't disappointed. I recommend the 85%. Takeaway is also available. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

I enjoy hot chili chocolate with floral shape cream of Hotel Chocolate. This is my first time purchasing at this shop. Just falling the cups while I am taking the cups away. Patience staffs lower down my embarrassment and friendly helping hands memorable me. Many thanks and I must come back again!!

Unfriendly, unhelpful staff treating you like you’ve been there before and know it all on how it works, plus no manners such as hello, welcome, how can I help, smiling, etc. Dirty tables and no one coming to clean up throughout our stay there. Tub of yogurt was empty in the middle, hence overpriced.

I really want to praise Fatima for her excellent service. As soon as me and my friend entered the store we were welcomed and attended to with such kindness and respect. She has an incredibly bubbly personality, which is also humourous, and she helped us with participating in a fun, small event for world hot chocolate day. We need more people like her in this world, thank you Fatima! :)

Went into this shop for a chocolate shake on this nice sunny day. Was served by two lovely ladies, Lisandra and Porcha.They were really nice and helpful with the choices on offer. I wanted to try all the various flavours but settled for a personal favourite, black forest. It was one of the best shakes I think I've ever had. Thumbs up for the product and more so for the service. Definitely worth paying that little bit extra for real quality.....and to be fair if anything, I thought it was quite reasonably priced.

Today I was served the lovely Shannon, as always she makes me feel so comfortable and always compliments me. She gave me a free sample which I then added to the sale, she wasn’t pushy at all, just really helpful and really kind. She’s a credit to you guys.

We were planning our wedding in 2020 and I had already decided to have our wedding cake made by Julez. However, Miss COVID decided to make an appearance, forcing us to shelve our plans. Fast forward to 2025 when we picked up the wedding reins again, and my fiance was driving past and decided to pop in to enquire about making our cake. This was a pure fluke because I hadn't discussed our wedding cake or who it was going to be made by with him, so it was absolutely meant to be. From the moment I met Julez, I felt at complete ease with her. She is so lovely. We discussed the type of cake I had in mind, working closely at every stage of the planning process and any issues she envisaged; she had a solution. She's an absolute genius!!! Not only did Julez create our beautiful cake, but she decorated our wedding venue to perfection, Also, we can't forget Jayne, who was also a joy to work with; she provided the beautiful flowers for the cake, bridal party, button holes, and my bouquet, and the result? A stunning contribution to making our special day truly magical!! If we could physically give more than 5 stars, we absolutely 💯 would because this lovely lady is worth her weight in gold! She is the fairy godmother of cakes, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a cake made for any occasion. Thank you, Julez, for our stunning wedding cake.

Cannot recommend Julz enough. I needed a cake for a surprise 70th birthday for my dad and I wanted a replica of their narrow boat. I never expected the cake that we collected. I am sure all people say their wedding is the best, an we really worked to make sure we had the best. Our researched into wedding cakes pointed at one person to be the best. Julie. We connected with Julie and had so many ideas of what we wanted, turned down several designs and worked close with Julie to design a unique cake which looked amazing. We was worried that we was hard work and Julie never once stopped trying to find the perfect cake design. When ever we had a question or request we had instant response. The cake was delivered when we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Julie is in high demand, given how good she is but we never felt we was not an important client. The cake looked fantastic and exactly what we asked for, tasted amazing and stayed fresh for over a week after. Julie is highly recommended and if you knew me, and how high my standards are you would know that is a massive compliment. Thank you Julie for being so amazing and producing our amazing wedding cake.

I absolutely love the Banana Bang smoothies with double fruit they make at these juice bars. So smooth and refreshing.

I thought it bizarre to pay £5.95 for just fresh orange juice in a small cup but honestly, when I drank it, I almost felt like it was worth the price. I really did need something refreshing, which this was and the ice in it made it even better.

I tried banana madness lack any flavoured to couldn't taste any banana or honey? Paid over £5 for just milk and ice cubes used to be good when first opened not any more if knew it gonna be like this should have head to local supermarket

I had a berry good super juice. After I received my juice I. Looked over the counter and was disgusted to see that they were using cartons of juice and not fresh fruits. The only thing I could taste was the berries and no sign of any pineapple, apple or blueberries. The juice was so sour that I had to bin it. You would think for the price you are paying that the juices would be made from fresh or frozen fruits and not out of a carton

Your drink will be mostly froth because of how it is blended. You can literally see how much is juice prior to blending. Dont bother wasting your money. They are tasty, but its a con. Shame!

Thought I'd try The milkshakes as I'm a big fan of it. Vanilla milkshake tasted like plane milk and water. So far the worst and hurts even more paying over £5 for it. Never again.

The juices were nice, I enjoyed the Very Berry juice but it was a shame to find out that only a certain section is purely freshly squeezed. Some of the other juice blends & smoothies use carton, pasteurised juice, which I feel defeats the whole point of a fresh juice bar. Other than that, they are nice and decent value.

Every single flavour was a hit…. They were super moist and you just wouldn’t be able to leave them alone! My daughter and I greedily finish the whole lot in 2 days. They tasted even better on day 2 as it was warmer. I’m a baker myself and I can say for a fact that she makes amazing cakes!

No lies allowed! I've never met a better cake maker than her! Her cake is tender. And tailored to my specifications! The red velvet cake is my favourite of hers, and the chocolate cake featured with salted caramel filling! I would eat her cake every day if it were one of our five a days, LOL! Her designs are also really nice! appealing to the eye appearance! She also customises it to my tastes! In terms of how sweet I want it to be! Even during periods of inflation she remains my cake lady, since I learned about one cake street, I've never felt the need to hunt for another cake maker.

I had the opportunity to attend a 1:1 cake class with Stephenie of One Cake Street about 3 weeks. I must say that, I am glad I did. It was a very detailed class, she covered all I needed to know to make a 2 tier ganache cake. She showed me a lot of her tips and tricks that I wouldn't have learnt from elsewhere. A lot of troubleshooting was also covered. She really made me feel at ease while learning, and she is ever so encouraging. Faye at Green Bean Cake Co is a fantastic and extremely talented baker and cake decorator. Not only do the cakes look phenomenal but they taste amazing too. We chose fruit and carrot and ginger for our two tiers. We visited Faye for a consultation and tasting session before committing to ordering, and everything went perfectly. Faye understood what we wanted for our wedding cake and delivered above and beyond for us. Faye also delivered and assembled the cake at our venue, added flowers from our florist and our cake topper for us so we had nothing to do on the day! The cake has received countless comments both from guests on the day to many commenters on social media. Yes having a heavily decorated cake is more expensive, so you need to be aware of that before deciding what you want. The amount of effort and detail that went into this cake is outstanding and worth every penny in my opinion. I loved having a cake that reflected our interests and personalities, and we will fondly remember it forever. Thank you Faye.

Ordered a GF Bento cake was quite last minute , but Faye was very accommodating. Cake looked lovely it was for my daughter’s Birthday defo instragrammable lol. And tasted amazing so happy to have found a GF baker locally will definitely use Bean and Co again 🍰👌🏼

To be writing this I am saddened, deeply saddened. To be told 10 days before your wedding that a design that’s been locked in and ordered for a YEAR, that it cannot be done due to them moving house and unable to produce the cake, is frankly unacceptable on any level. I’m afraid to say that there is no sympathy from us because a new house won’t be built and ready to move in on time, if you have taken orders you must honour them especially paid up in advance. I never expected to be writing this because they are genuinely nice people but I feel that the way the business is being run currently is not professional or sustainable. You must be able to honour or indeed if you make a life and business impacting decision then you must consider scenarios around can it be achieved? Perhaps it’s wiser or sensible to have considered cancelling giving us more time to get a replacement cake sorted and give us the courtesy of a call rather than an email where I have to chase via phone to get the money back. I requested the money back on the day and it was honoured so that’s fair but I’d have actually expected some gesture of goodwill or compensation due to the manner of cancellation. Communication is a massive issue also of late this year appears to have been a game of chase the designers due to having many of their own commitments either being on holiday or parties or what not, the question begs is this business really going to succeed moving forward. Sadly I won’t be recommending elite cakes moving forward, despite my sister using them and others we have told to use them, that won’t happen moving forward now. Hope the new house goes well and you can get back to prioritising customers again as this award winning company is falling from grace sadly. Now on to searching for a replacement with 10 days before a wedding for us. Eternally disappointed. 😞

I booked I consultation with this company Elite Cake Design Solluhul Birmingham at the NEC wedding fayre on the 2nd of March 24.on the 16th of March 24 I contacted them to confirm my appointment as I had not heard from them. I spoke with a man and said I was calling to confirm my appointment for the 23rd of March as I had not heard from them. He said oh yes we have you ***** I said no my name is **'' ' straight away I thought to myself they have double booked my appointment. That being said he said yes we will see you on the 23rd. This Monday the day of my appointment I get a txt message from Caryln informing me that her husband had arranged a surprise holiday and had to cancel my appointment. I messaged back straight away and asked if there was anyone else that could do the appointment as she had introduced us to 2 other ppl she works with. No surprise my message was not answered so I called her she did not pick up but sent me a txt saying when she is back in the UK she will send me more appointments for early April. I messaged her back and said that won't be necessary. How can you cancel someone appointment last minute this is unprofessional and rude not to answer my phone call. She may be going on holiday but I feel they double booked my appointment. I'm glad I found out how unprofessional this company is before I parted with my money. And after reading the reviews I feel I have saved myself a lot of stress. Date of experience: March 23, 2024 I didnt dine in but hsd to click to be able to submit my review

We recently got married and Caryn produced a beautiful wedding cake for us. We loved it, the design and taste of the cake was superb. The variety of flavours and cake choices available is amazing and in our case it was a not only a surprise but also a fantastic treat for all our guests. I would not hesitate to use Elite again and we would just like to say a big thank you!

From what initially was a plesant consultation with Caryn has been following with a terrible service and after-service. From experiencing Elite Cake Designs, i would advise to make notes of every meeting and revise the points before leaving. From what was an initial design discussed 9 months before our wedding, we decided at the final meeting to make a few adjustments and provided a paper copy photograph of what we would like our cake to look like. What i can only assume is poor organisation as the final adjustments were completely ignored and the initial design we asked for was made. The product itself was also poor in taste. The tasting cake provided at consultation is far more superior to the final piece which was very disappointing. If you do have any issues after your event make sure its recorded in writing (not that Elite Cakes will reply) as you will hear a simple 'computer says no' response due to not filing a complaint within 48 hours of the event (we did so but by phone) even though Caryn wasn't available to discuss when called within the 48 hours. If possible, request half payment before and after event in case you have the same issues. I will not be recommending nor using Elite Cakes Designs personally again.

Danielle recently supplied us a lovely 4 tier wedding cake and it did not disappoint and not a single slice went to waste. All our guests loved the flavours, especially the Chocolate Orange & Cointreau.

Save your money use some else. They will rip you off! no response to emails and don't listen to customers. £600 i will never get back. The photo below is what we requested and the links below is what you gave us. Perhaps others can then judge whether we were ripped off. We asked for a half and half cake, and the superhero side was very disappointing, with guests comparing the it to a children's cake. I've never seen a wedding cake with just a print stuck on. The pictures we gave you clearly showed the superhero theme was not a print out.

Bee's Cake's that she made for my 30th birthday and my wedding were top notch. Communication was perfect. Quality of the cake and flavors were brilliant. Her passion obviously shows through when she showed up to our wedding with a broken leg in a cast and still set it up beautifully.

I had been in touch with a dozen wedding cake specialists to make my wedding cake, but none of them sparked my interest enought to entrust them with my cake until i came across Bryony at Sweet Alchemy Cakes. Bee made the trip across Birmingham to hold a consultation in te comfort of our own home, where we were able to talk about ideas & flavours at great lengths. We ended up going over the allocated time for our consultation, but Bee didnt charge us for going over. Bee sketched out my dreanm cake simply from my descriptions I gave her out of the ideas in my mind and they were translated beautifully into a stunning work of art that is my wedding cake. Each and everyone of of my 450 wedding guests were in awe of the grandeur and detail of my cake. Each tier was unique in style and flavour and the hand piped wedding logo was quite literally the "icing on the cake" Bee bought along a fantastic variety of flavours along to our consultation, that were beautifully presented in a cake box filled with petals, individually wrapped slices & wrapped with a ribbon. We picked a classic victoria sponge, raspberry and coconut and finally salted caramel. Each tier tasted incredible, and there was so much to go around., The quote I received from Sweet Alechemy Cakes was by far the best from every other company I had been in touch with, and it was worth every single penny. If you are reading this review, I highly recommend that you order your cake from Sweet Alchemy Cakes because you will not be dissappointed with the customer service, the flavours, the designs, or anything at all! I was there on Wednesday. ordered pancakes and creps. The pancakes were delicious. But the price of the crepes was not adequate to the appearance, which did not even look like the online menu and cost about £10… The staff first brought pancakes, and after about 10 minutes my partner got crepes. We also ordered coffee which was delivered at the very end, after a long time after eating the meal. Unfortunately, the staff did not know what to do, the coffee should have been delivered first, and meals for two people should not have been separated in time. There were no other customers we were alone in this restaurant. The fee for this poor service was added to the bill without informing us.

Excellently location , lovely view , nice doors and multiple staff members at reception who are always waiting for you with a big smile on their faces , as you enter , they’ll direct you to the sitting areas which can either be ground floor or the upstairs dine-in space . As you approach the dine-in area you’ll see a QR code on each table for the menu and a beautiful ornament . You can either scaN QR code or wait for staff members to bring you the menu , multiple options of nice and yummy cuisines waiting for you in the menu , you can choose according to your taste , sit there enjoy well and don’t forget to bring your friends here . Food quality is excellent and apparently their rating is five stars as well . Lastly it’s not even too expensive .

Very poor customer service, it’s more seems like a Mosque. Not even a music , only 2 staff working and long wait for orders.the toilet was disgusting.Definitely not recommended here. Better to go to heavenly deserts or creams.

The place is quite pretty inside and really spacious since it got renovated! However it’s not the same as the old place it was before. The customer service is good, the staff are attentive. The desserts are not really too my personal liking as it was quite sickly sweet and abit pricey for what it is. To someone else it might be just what they’re looking for. The place is clean and tidy.

Having visited various Haute Dolci locations across Birmingham and London, I must admit this particular experience was my least favourite. Whilst their desserts are fantastic, the chocolate cake on this occasion was disappointingly ordinary and fell short of expectation.

I attended a bridal shower here and had the most amazing experience. The manager allowed us to set up at the larger and more private dinning tables towards the back of the restaurant and we were given the option to play our own music through the speakers above our table; which made the overall experience even more special for our bride to be and guest party. 10/10 food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Gorgeous spot for dining and will be back!

I came here for my friend’s Birthday brunch and absolutely loved it! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were just right, and everything tasted homemade with so much care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed brunch. Haute Dolci is always an amazing place for brunch! The food was absolutely delicious and came out promptly. It was served hot, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Waiting an hour or so for a train, could see this place from the ground floor, thought it would be perfect to spend my hour! Escalators up but, there is a lift too just not so easy to see, as I had suitcases, that’s for me. Lovely pleasant staff, found my seat next to the glass railing with a commanding view of the bull. Picked from a good menu, tasted great, plenty of it, well presented. Coffee was good too. And you aren’t stuck in a shop, the people watching is great! I didn’t know the bill performs on the hour!! A very pleasant hour, thoroughly recommend.

We had a wonderful Afternoon Tea at Café Concerto. The service was at a high standard, being well looked after by Giuseppe and the team who kept our tea topped up and their hospitality friendly and informative. The food was flavoursome, the egg mayo sandwich a must-have! The spread was colourful and well presented, offering a wide variety of textures and fillings. The scones were soft, and the little patisseries were delightful. The tea selection is great, and you have unlimited refills. Being inside Grand Central, it's easily accessible and has a relaxing atmosphere, natural light all around with comfortable seating. Would highly recommend for friends and couples alike!

I stopped by Café Concerto while passing through New Street Station. The café itself was fine – decent coffee and a light bite, though I did find it a bit on the expensive side for what it was. That said, the atmosphere was lively and the standout was definitely the moving bull statue nearby – such a cool surprise to see that in a train station! It added a really fun vibe to the visit. Overall, not a bad place for a quick stop if you're in transit, but be prepared to pay a little extra for the convenience and surroundings.

On a recent Saturday evening, we visited Treatz in Sutton Coldfield as a reward for our two boys, aged 7 and 9. We were promptly seated and provided with menus. Our order included a crepe dish, a waffle basket, and two sundaes. We were surprised, however, to be asked to pay immediately after ordering, as we would typically expect to settle the bill after finishing our desserts when dining in. Despite this, the portions of all desserts were notably generous, large enough to share between two people, which is something we'll consider for future visits. Each dessert was also presented beautifully and looked very appealing. While the prices were on the higher side for what we ordered, it was considered acceptable for a special treat. Overall, it was a satisfying dessert experience.

Certainly lives up to its name! Aneesa went above and beyond changing things around to my liking and even got a few ice cream tasters before I chose. Presentation was immaculate and it tasted even better, cannot recommend anymore highly. Ellie was also very hospitable and overall 10/10 experience, will definitely be returning and recommending to others!

Most blandest crepe ever, I’m honestly surprised the reviews are good. They gave such a small amount of chocolate, it hardly cover half of the crepe, it was just the top layer that was added on. The crepe was so dry. And the ice cream was mixed with another flavour, it was chocolate ice cream however there was a fruit flavour. So disappointing.

Absolutely lovely. Did not have to wait at all for the seating, or food, which was hot and fresh and you could tell that it wasn't just reheated food like other places. The server Natasha was lovely and an absolute star.

Decided to place a dessert order as they were running an offer on cookie doughs — buy 2 and get 2 milkshakes. Sadly, no ice cream was included with the cookie doughs, which was frustrating as it’s usually part of the experience and wasn’t made clear when ordering. What really let us down was the concrete cake. I was excited as I usually order this from dessert shops so thought I'd order it from here, but this time it was completely different — definitely not the old-school style concrete cake I was expecting. I’m honestly not sure what it was, but it wasn’t what it should’ve been. Really disappointed overall, and unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from here again.

This giant waffle, layered with a generous amount of pistachio sauce, and served with some pistachio gelato, really is as good as it looks! The waffle itself was beautifully fluffy but not too doughy or heavy, and the pistachio sauce complimented with a healthy sweetness and nuttiness without being excessive. The pistachio gelato was equally splendid! Adding to this is the efficient service and generous hospitality; the manager even wiped our table for us! I highly recommend checking out Creams Coventry, and I'll definitely be back for some more waffles!

Creams had a welcoming atmosphere and great customer service, from Akshya and Kisanet. Furthermore, the astonishing view also supplemented the lovely experience, along with how the food was served quickly, and was time efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in creams, thanks to the staff.

Very substandard ice-cream and the red velvet was terrible! For the price paid, the quality, taste and flavour was poor. I am sure I'll never return to this place unless the flavours, how they treat their customers and the quality of the desserts are improved. I'm surprised how this place has survived so far!

I have been there twice, once for eat in & once for takeaway. It is conveniently located just off Broad Street. The interior is vibrant & well decorated. The portion sizes are huge & the Sundae/waffles well presented. However, the ice creams are too sweet & slightly lacking in flavour. The service is slow, especially for takeaways. I noticed that they serve the people eating in first before serving those waiting for a takeaway (even though they will still take everyone’s orders). The staff are not rude but they are not enthusiastic & don’t seem to enjoy their job. In my opinion, Creams cafe is worth a try but nothing special. They could do better by improving on the quality of their ice creams & serving customers quicker.

I haven't got a bad thing to say about this place. I went around 2pm and the place was empty, staff made sure I got seated and helped me check allergens for the menu item I wanted. They were really helpful and nice. The waffle was super filling and really nice, coffee was good too. I would definitely come back here again!

Visted here as its across the road from Cineworld, having had to wait quite a long to be seated it took me a while to suss that no one was going to take me order an that you have to go to the counter and place your order there. When finally got served our desserts they were lovely presented and were really yummy, were very reasonable prices xx

Very bad service. Place was almost empty, just few booths taken, but there were dirty plates on almost every single table, we had to clean the table by ourselves. Staff was just standing behind the counter. I won't come back to this place. Atmosphere at place feels hostile.

Two stars for being still delicious enough but everything goes wrong especially when the staff are not very customer friendly in either being apologetic or actually listening to the complaint. I ordered a Very Cherry mainly because I love Cherries and looking at the picture it clearly has the cherries plus it says on the menu too. But when it arrived, there were none. To give benefit of doubt, I started eating and hoping at least a few will appear. But I was disappointed and when I asked the staff who served me, his blunt reply was, run out of cherries. And when I pointed out to the menu, he said everything is same and walked away. He will win the staff of the century award, lol. And just out of interest, I looked up at the reviews and many echo similar experiences with customer service at this branch in Birmingham. It will get worse if this is not put right by management and train the staff to treat the customers with respect. Good luck Creams!

Staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable given the portion sizes and the cafe is clean. However I was waiting quite a while for my dessert to come out, the staff member also made a few minor errors with our order (e.g. gave us ice cream when we asked for cream, forgot to give us tap water) however the dessert was still delicious.Creams is a great place to catch up with friends. Will be returning!

Warm welcome, good ambience, great variety and good taste. There is no kids menu and it would be nice if waffle portions have two different sizes, like other desert parlours. We went in a large group and it wasn't busy however the service was very fast. Even the waffles and cookie, which generally take longer to come, came very quickly. Some of the members in our group said that some ice creams were a bit more icy than more creamy hence 4 star 🌟 We will visit again!

Nice quiet place to go for dessert. Empty compared to Heavenly Desserts but customer service is quite bad. The workers just hang out behind the counter and don’t really involve themselves or smile at customers. The desserts are cheap but portion sizes are good and they’re tasty and have a large variety.

Family friendly place for all, friendly staff and good seating choices. Prices are through the roof for everything but the food is nice.

They do a lot of ice cream flavours . You can even make your own mix n match sundae all mixed up on a ice stone with toppings but we went for the old school puddings which were nice.

Quite pricy but service very good. My friend had a dry piece of cake but the staff was accomodating and change the cake with a smile. Decent atmosphere.

My go to place for waffles!!! ... their consistency in quality is spectacular. I also really enjoy the variety of gelato ice cream! Not to forget, the peanut butter stack is super divine!

Absolutely shocking experience. On arrival music was blaring and not really comforting. The food when arrive was lumpy and not appetizing in an sense. The custard was grainy and you could easily tell it was old custard do to the colour and the cake was the most distapointing part as it was dry not to mention no taste due to being left on display for a quiet long period of time. For take out I had ordered a Ferro Roche milkshake and that didn't even taste like chocolate never mind the Ferro Roche. Overall I can differently say I will not be going back and wouldn't recommend anyone however if you do decide to go then please do, you'll find out yourself.

Amazing … hannah who was looking after us on the table was next level … the food was to die for .. been coming here for years and never disappoints .. the star today was the American pancakes biscoff .. normally our favourite are the crepes which are defo the best in the area .

Spacious nice place with modern decorations and relaxing atmosphere. We only went there for ice cream and it was amazing. We also ended having a tasty cheesecake. The kids love it, it was tasty and the portions were large. Definitely going back to try other options. Thanks for Zaf for the great and friendly service.

Heard from one friend as he visited other branch in Sutton Coldfield, just found out that there's one in SparkHill. Visited with one friend the place on the main Street as it is a bit hard find parking places. Well decorated place and enough space, Friendly and welcoming staff but. Service is a bit slow if you wait for table service. Best way go to the till, place your order and pay there. On their menu they have a wide range of desert and ice cream options but some might be out of stock. We go for ice cream and even some flavour are missing they have enough options. Overall the service was not satisfied as the place was a bit busy at that time but really like their ice cream. Will go for that again maybe this time try a different branch .

Extensive choice of desserts at competitive prices. Ample seating. Service could be a bit quicker but other than that would recommend. The waffles and the cookie dough were excellent and the bubblegum ice cream will turn your tongue and lips blue!

The ice-cream was of poor quality and we thats us adults and children did not like it. Then where the ice-cream was scooped the scoop was not washed. Meant other ice-cream such as bubblegum were mixed in meant it was awful. We did complain all we were offered was a discount next time. We were told they cannot do anything as manager is not here. No one took a note of our details so the manager could either get in touch. There will not be a next time and if there was how would they remember who we were? This discount was said with no purpose. If you do not mind cheap unwashed scoops this is the place. We took our families and had disappointment with all the children. This is unfortunately not a place for three of our families.

Visited treatz a couple of times now and the desserts are very good. Huge variety and everything we tried was nice. Service is decent but some of the waiters arent too friendly. All in all good experience and will go back again if in the area.

Great service by the staff. The food came quickly and it was amazing. There was tonnes to choose from and everything we got was delicious. Our server, Isha, was very polite and came to us often to ask of we needed anything. They also packed all the food we couldn't finish for us so we could enjoy that later!

Well let's say that their milkshakes will not be bringing all the boys to the yard! Ordered a couple of milkshakes via Uber Eats cos we fancied a treat but unfortunately we were a little disappointed. They tasted fine but were very runny, especially compared to some of their local competitors who offer really good thick milkshakes. I don't think they are worth £4.29 which is actually more expensive than some of the competitors as well. Oh and to top it off, the carrier bag the milkshakes were delivered in smelled of fried food (which is a bit strange for a dessert shop).

I've used Delightful Desserts in the past and they were great when they first opened but as time went on they starting messing up my orders and I stopped using them for a while just to see if I gave them a break if they would correct their mistakes and make sure my orders were correct. But unfortunately they have messed up my order once again. I ordered a strawberry delight waffle with added raspberries, they gave me a waffle with raspberries instead of strawberries, white chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce. It also came with the extra raspberries. Please be aware when ordering from these, their desserts are nice but when you get something that you don't want it can be quite a hassle.

My husband and I both had the Maltesers waffles last night and we were so amazed at the generous portions and how delicious they were!! The staff took no time at all to make it while my husband waited and the young lady was very polite and friendly on the phone when I phoned to place our order beforehand. I will certainly be ordering again regardless of how filling they are (my poor waistline!) 😂 Thank you so much for instilling my faith back into desserts after terrible food experiences with other local dessert parlours!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Terrible.. accidentally ordered from here instead of the other local desert shop CoCo's. Had a cookie dough, shocking... So over priced for the portion size, its a joke. The Oreo Waffle, was a plain waffle two Oreos broken over the top with slight bit of chocolate sauce over the top.. again, so over priced for the effort/ingredients used. Milkshake was runny and ice creams spilt everywhere in bag. Terrible.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered 3 cakes and a milkshake for delivery, after 45 minutes I called to see how long, the girl rudely told me she couldn't tell me how long after a mess of not being able to find my order, merely got 'were busy'. Calld back again half an hour later and was told they would start it when we get there if we could pick it up. So I cancelled the order, the girl said 'okay' and hung up the phone. Terrible first experience, wont give it a second go.

Well what can I say. Filthy food and a filthy shop. I ordered my food at 7:30 pm just in time for the next episode of heart beat, to my disgust I was sat pacing the living room floor until 10pm at night. Not only was my appetite a shambles but I missed the second box set of heartbeat without chomping my mouldy pegs on any pud pud. I ring up and ask where my food had been sent to and I get nothing but a careless and laid back response. Oh right, you really want to go there delicious desserts? They finally decide to deliver my disgusting dessert. I open the box to find a lego sized waffle and gone off ice cream. Now I'm sat at home with an empty belly, plotting. I gave my lovely friend this afternoon tea as a gift and it was a pleasure to go with her. We had a lovely afternoon in a nice atmosphere and vintage decor. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The sandwiches were basic but still enjoyable and the cupcakes were amazing. There were no leftovers from us 🙂. Michelle Lee

I'm a giving a 5 star review based on the cakes we had as they were delicious and great price. That being said I did feel like the worker wasn't a very people person no please or thank you when asked to pay. I run my own business where I deal with members of the public all day everyday and as hard as it is to smile all the time manners cost nothing however my son did enjoy the cupcakes so will be back

Shocking service. I had booked for a small local charity event for this coming Sunday with private hire, afternoon tea with a few games for prizes, and a charity auction etc. All of which the proceeds were going to Birmingham Children's hospital. I went in today to confirm numbers (as this is the only thing I was told I needed to do before hand) to find my booking crossed out in the diary and owners sons birthday party booked in instead. I appreciate the replacement booking is a child's birthday party...but why no phone Call so I could make alternative arrangements if they needed to cancel? What response did I get from the owner?? You should have paid a deposit (which no one told us we had to do) repeated to me over and over again. No apology. Pretty rude. Would not accept the lady may have misinformed me regarding deposit. I asked if he could still cater for it as in my mind this is their error. A flat "No" was the answer!! Information given to me when booking was mostly incorrect by the lady on the desk. I used to go here a lot but after this incident made me so upset I won't even be visiting even for a cuppa and a cake ever again. - Super upset and far from happy EX-customer!

dont go here !! booked via groupon for my sister's bday, had a call 2 hours before to say it was cancelled as they had a burst pipe, anyhow we rescheduled and went there to find it being the most tackiest afternoon tea iv ever had !! staff were nice but the quality of the food was so smart price, they served us donuts which seemed like tesco's own which were half frozen 2 donuts cut in half for 4 people! the inside of the cafe was so dated, dirty, the table was wobbly & sticky, The cutlery was stained & dirty please AVOID !!

Went there one Thursday, they were told one of party has allergy to strawberries and raspberries. For my cream tea was scone and cream. When questioned he told us he only served strawberry and raspberry jam, he also said he had marmalade but I wouldn't want that. I thought if it was that bad I better hadn't. So if you have an allergy don't go here as you will go hungry as he totally ignores this health problem and doesn't offer an alternative.

I have recently purchased two wowcher vouchers for afternoon tea for four people at 'mom n co'. I booked my first voucher for today at 12pm. As I arrived (after a 40 minute journey) I was told my booking had been cancelled. After numerous attempts of explaining I had not cancelled my booking, the owner insisted I had. The owner was very unprofessional and rude and blamed me for the mistake of theirs! He then went on to say that he would 'give me the benefit of the doubt' and give me the afternoon tea for free...After I had paid !!! They did not originally take any contact details or anything from me and insisted i was the one who cancelled. I am completely apauled by the service and professionalism of the company! Not only that, but after I decided I no longer wished to stay at the cafe and was going to complain about the service, he then went on to embarrass himself by banging loudly on the walls when mothers and babies were present in the builing. He also said we were belittling him and did not wish to talk to another member of our party, when simply all I was doing was asking for what I paid for with reasonable customer service!!

I booked an afternoon tea for my daughter and I today. Now I've been to Mom n Co 3 times before BUT when it was situated in Rye Market shopping centre. So on booking that's where we presumed it still would be. However, it had moved and I must say not to a good spot at all, pretty much out the way! The premises were ok clean and tidy but was absolutely freezing .... No heating except for a small heater behind the counter. Decor was ok but could tell it had been a rush job. As it was a wowcher i was asked for the barcode that needed to be scanned (never asked for this before just the code). After battling with the Wi fi for 20 minutes to get this i was told it wasnt required only the code! (which id had from the start). Tea and coffee was served in the meantime but sugar dispenser empty so got one off another table .... again empty! The chap filled it up. I then asked if i could have a particular cup cake which is part of the thing only to be told no as it was a set meal. Now not everyone likes every cupcake do they? After stating this had never been a problem before I was told on this occasion ok. Sandwiches arrived and I could not fault these ... fresh and and varied choice. However asked for salt, only to be given a salt grinder with possibly no more then 6 grains! Have to say service was quite bad nothing like at the last place as nothing was too much for the young girls who were staff there. They constantly asked if we required anything else....here? Nope this wasnt the case. The guy seemed uncaring, unwilling and quite miserable. Needless to say this will be my last visit to this place. Sorry Mom n Co but uouve gonevright down the pan!!

We organised two cakes to be made (at quite short notice and during a busy period of the year). They made them just as described and tasted fantastic!!! The Red Velvet (10 inch) was deliciously chocolately and the Lemon Gateaux (8 inch) was sublimely lemony! Thanks for making the day special!

Stopped by for a morning coffee and cake as I liked the look of the selection from the window. I was not disappointed... 2 lovely members of staff were working behind the counter, very friendly and polite. One of them said he'd just made fresh croissants and pastries so obviously I had to have one of those. Delicious cinnamon swirl still hot from the oven! And a really nice coffee too. Would definitely recommend if you're after a sweet treat. ** I went back the very next day for more!** Highly recommend.

Bought a birthday cake for my dad’s 90th birthday. Surantha called me after placing the order to check that I hadn’t ordered a cake that was too big for the amount of people which I thought was really considerate as he clearly didn’t want to over charge. The cake itself was really good. Everyone commented on how light the cake was and how nice it tasted. I thought it was extremely good value and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Their cakes are absolutely amazing so fresh and delicious! The girls working there are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and Surantha is especially kind and helpful. The ice creams are really nice, and the pasta is just too good, full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
