Maz made a cake for my daughters 30 Birthday. Very off the wall, colourful chaos, a psychedelic sugar rush, which, according to the party guests summed up my daughter up perfectly! Our wedding cake and cupcakes were absolutely perfect! All of our communication was through email and phone calls, and she still completely brought my vision to life. We were planning our wedding in 2020 and I had already decided to have our wedding cake made by Julez. However, Miss COVID decided to make an appearance, forcing us to shelve our plans. Fast forward to 2025 when we picked up the wedding reins again, and my fiance was driving past and decided to pop in to enquire about making our cake. This was a pure fluke because I hadn't discussed our wedding cake or who it was going to be made by with him, so it was absolutely meant to be. From the moment I met Julez, I felt at complete ease with her. She is so lovely. We discussed the type of cake I had in mind, working closely at every stage of the planning process and any issues she envisaged; she had a solution. She's an absolute genius!!! Not only did Julez create our beautiful cake, but she decorated our wedding venue to perfection, Also, we can't forget Jayne, who was also a joy to work with; she provided the beautiful flowers for the cake, bridal party, button holes, and my bouquet, and the result? Cannot recommend Julz enough. I needed a cake for a surprise 70th birthday for my dad and I wanted a replica of their narrow boat. I never expected the cake that we collected. It was perfect, an exact replica with so much detail and care clearly put in. She even added lights to the front! Unreal and everybody at the party including my dad were blown away by it. I am sure all people say their wedding is the best, an we really worked to make sure we had the best. Our researched into wedding cakes pointed at one person to be the best. Julie. We connected with Julie and had so many ideas of what we wanted, turned down several designs and worked close with Julie to design a unique cake which looked amazing. We was worried that we was hard work and Julie never once stopped trying to find the perfect cake design. When ever we had a question or request we had instant response. The cake was delivered when we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Julie is in high demand, given how good she is but we never felt we was not an important client. The cake looked fantastic and exactly what we asked for, tasted amazing and stayed fresh for over a week after. Julie is highly recommended and if you knew me, and how high my standards are you would know that is a massive compliment. Thank you Julie for being so amazing and producing our amazing wedding cake.

It took us a long journey to get to the location, but it was a journey we willingly took for the amazing food this place provides. The guy behind the counter was extremely nice and friendly on a whole other level, and the food was better than we expected, and our expectations were pretty high so that’s saying something! Would definitely recommend and visit again and again .. we emptied the whole shelves and left maybe 2 pastries left? Sorry! 😅

A friend and I visited on 13/6/24. If you have not been, you are missing out. The best pastries I've had outside of France and definitely the best in Birmingham. Did not disappoint. I had a croissant with raspberries in it and took a couple home as well as a loaf of sourdough to slice & freeze. Perfection 👏🏻

I went on a Saturday and the best bits had gone but the savoury item I bought was really nice! I do think some of their food items are abit overpriced but to be fair the quality is quite good and the food is fresh! The customer service is also good, they know their products.

Best Croissants out side Paris !! The location is cool and cozy and the most important is the croissants is the best in England ! Crunchy out side with warm fluffy inside, great taste of butter and just perfect! Try the Bordeaux version also so light and fluffy! Amazing shop !

Every single flavour was a hit…. They were super moist and you just wouldn’t be able to leave them alone! My daughter and I greedily finish the whole lot in 2 days. They tasted even better on day 2 as it was warmer. I’m a baker myself and I can say for a fact that she makes amazing cakes!

No lies allowed! I've never met a better cake maker than her! Her cake is tender. And tailored to my specifications! The red velvet cake is my favourite of hers, and the chocolate cake featured with salted caramel filling! I would eat her cake every day if it were one of our five a days, LOL! Her designs are also really nice! appealing to the eye appearance! She also customises it to my tastes! In terms of how sweet I want it to be! Even during periods of inflation she remains my cake lady, since I learned about one cake street, I've never felt the need to hunt for another cake maker.

I had the opportunity to attend a 1:1 cake class with Stephenie of One Cake Street about 3 weeks. I must say that, I am glad I did. It was a very detailed class, she covered all I needed to know to make a 2 tier ganache cake. She showed me a lot of her tips and tricks that I wouldn't have learnt from elsewhere. A lot of troubleshooting was also covered. She really made me feel at ease while learning, and she is ever so encouraging. First time reviewing The Cake box, in Maypole. From ordering to collecting the cake the experience was very easy. The cake we ordered was for a 18th birthday and was made exceptionally well and tasted just the same, well worth the price. My first order with The Cake Box, and WOW so pleased with this amazing cake, after emailing Lesley with photos of my sons Mini Cooper Sport we were able to make his (lockdown) 21ST BIRTHDAY very special, it actually looked more like a model than a cake it was so good, too nice to cut up but we did and it was delicious! so fresh and tasty, we chose lemon sponge which everyone complimented on. Beautiful cake made in less than a week The decoration was Beautiful. Initially reluctant as had not used this shop before. But felt assured as shop had Been there 28 years. Sadly cake was very dry. Victoria sponge. So much so it was inedible.

We have had many celebration cakes over the years from here. Fantastic cakes visually and taste good too!

To be writing this I am saddened, deeply saddened. To be told 10 days before your wedding that a design that’s been locked in and ordered for a YEAR, that it cannot be done due to them moving house and unable to produce the cake, is frankly unacceptable on any level. I’m afraid to say that there is no sympathy from us because a new house won’t be built and ready to move in on time, if you have taken orders you must honour them especially paid up in advance. I never expected to be writing this because they are genuinely nice people but I feel that the way the business is being run currently is not professional or sustainable. You must be able to honour or indeed if you make a life and business impacting decision then you must consider scenarios around can it be achieved? Perhaps it’s wiser or sensible to have considered cancelling giving us more time to get a replacement cake sorted and give us the courtesy of a call rather than an email where I have to chase via phone to get the money back. I requested the money back on the day and it was honoured so that’s fair but I’d have actually expected some gesture of goodwill or compensation due to the manner of cancellation. Communication is a massive issue also of late this year appears to have been a game of chase the designers due to having many of their own commitments either being on holiday or parties or what not, the question begs is this business really going to succeed moving forward. Sadly I won’t be recommending elite cakes moving forward, despite my sister using them and others we have told to use them, that won’t happen moving forward now. Hope the new house goes well and you can get back to prioritising customers again as this award winning company is falling from grace sadly. Now on to searching for a replacement with 10 days before a wedding for us. Eternally disappointed. 😞

I booked I consultation with this company Elite Cake Design Solluhul Birmingham at the NEC wedding fayre on the 2nd of March 24.on the 16th of March 24 I contacted them to confirm my appointment as I had not heard from them. I spoke with a man and said I was calling to confirm my appointment for the 23rd of March as I had not heard from them. He said oh yes we have you ***** I said no my name is **'' ' straight away I thought to myself they have double booked my appointment. That being said he said yes we will see you on the 23rd. This Monday the day of my appointment I get a txt message from Caryln informing me that her husband had arranged a surprise holiday and had to cancel my appointment. I messaged back straight away and asked if there was anyone else that could do the appointment as she had introduced us to 2 other ppl she works with. No surprise my message was not answered so I called her she did not pick up but sent me a txt saying when she is back in the UK she will send me more appointments for early April. I messaged her back and said that won't be necessary. How can you cancel someone appointment last minute this is unprofessional and rude not to answer my phone call. She may be going on holiday but I feel they double booked my appointment. I'm glad I found out how unprofessional this company is before I parted with my money. And after reading the reviews I feel I have saved myself a lot of stress. Date of experience: March 23, 2024 I didnt dine in but hsd to click to be able to submit my review

We recently got married and Caryn produced a beautiful wedding cake for us. We loved it, the design and taste of the cake was superb. The variety of flavours and cake choices available is amazing and in our case it was a not only a surprise but also a fantastic treat for all our guests. I would not hesitate to use Elite again and we would just like to say a big thank you!

From what initially was a plesant consultation with Caryn has been following with a terrible service and after-service. From experiencing Elite Cake Designs, i would advise to make notes of every meeting and revise the points before leaving. From what was an initial design discussed 9 months before our wedding, we decided at the final meeting to make a few adjustments and provided a paper copy photograph of what we would like our cake to look like. What i can only assume is poor organisation as the final adjustments were completely ignored and the initial design we asked for was made. The product itself was also poor in taste. The tasting cake provided at consultation is far more superior to the final piece which was very disappointing. If you do have any issues after your event make sure its recorded in writing (not that Elite Cakes will reply) as you will hear a simple 'computer says no' response due to not filing a complaint within 48 hours of the event (we did so but by phone) even though Caryn wasn't available to discuss when called within the 48 hours. If possible, request half payment before and after event in case you have the same issues. I will not be recommending nor using Elite Cakes Designs personally again.

Danielle recently supplied us a lovely 4 tier wedding cake and it did not disappoint and not a single slice went to waste. All our guests loved the flavours, especially the Chocolate Orange & Cointreau.

Save your money use some else. They will rip you off! no response to emails and don't listen to customers. £600 i will never get back. The photo below is what we requested and the links below is what you gave us. Perhaps others can then judge whether we were ripped off. We asked for a half and half cake, and the superhero side was very disappointing, with guests comparing the it to a children's cake. I've never seen a wedding cake with just a print stuck on. The pictures we gave you clearly showed the superhero theme was not a print out.

Bee's Cake's that she made for my 30th birthday and my wedding were top notch. Communication was perfect. Quality of the cake and flavors were brilliant. Her passion obviously shows through when she showed up to our wedding with a broken leg in a cast and still set it up beautifully.

I had been in touch with a dozen wedding cake specialists to make my wedding cake, but none of them sparked my interest enought to entrust them with my cake until i came across Bryony at Sweet Alchemy Cakes. Bee made the trip across Birmingham to hold a consultation in te comfort of our own home, where we were able to talk about ideas & flavours at great lengths. We ended up going over the allocated time for our consultation, but Bee didnt charge us for going over. Bee sketched out my dreanm cake simply from my descriptions I gave her out of the ideas in my mind and they were translated beautifully into a stunning work of art that is my wedding cake. Each and everyone of of my 450 wedding guests were in awe of the grandeur and detail of my cake. Each tier was unique in style and flavour and the hand piped wedding logo was quite literally the "icing on the cake" Bee bought along a fantastic variety of flavours along to our consultation, that were beautifully presented in a cake box filled with petals, individually wrapped slices & wrapped with a ribbon. We picked a classic victoria sponge, raspberry and coconut and finally salted caramel. Each tier tasted incredible, and there was so much to go around., The quote I received from Sweet Alechemy Cakes was by far the best from every other company I had been in touch with, and it was worth every single penny. If you are reading this review, I highly recommend that you order your cake from Sweet Alchemy Cakes because you will not be dissappointed with the customer service, the flavours, the designs, or anything at all! Found the velvet Crumb at a wedding fayre at himley. Truthfully, I hadn't put cake at the top of my priority list but me and my now husband stood eating a few flavour samples in the middle of Himley drooling and I couldn't stop thinking about it after! The cake looked soooo good and the flavours were amazing. We opted for lemon, salted caramel and raspberry&white choc 🤤

Food was great, had a mixed grill combo with a burger. So much food I had to take the burger home in a little box. Steak was cooked as asked for and everything was fresh, hot and very appetising. Food was great value for money. Had the fish and chips, chips were luke warm but once staff informed they brought out fresh bowls of hot chips. Marie who delivered out food was, nice and attentive to our needs. Free soft play makes it worth while

Marie our server was really nice, nothing was too much bother. Food was good and really filling. Would definitely come again. Soft play kept our little one entertained.

Garden area is so nice very secure they have really upgraded it Food was good for 8 of us and 4 kids the kids plates were a bit hot though could have been bought out sooner rather than under the lamp and them start before us. Wouldn't have been an issue. Maria was lovely also

We went for the Brunch menu, you got a couple of drinks and a selection on a limited menu. Food was pretty good all around the group, we all had cocktails which were just okay, pretty weak but taste was just okay nothing great . The experience was pleasant, would I say it was value for money? I think for £30, just about.

Drinks..AMAZING! Food was ok but took such a long time to come and when the burger arrived was very dry and hard. The pork belly however was so moist and flavourful. Our server Tiffany was just the best, so pleasant and friendly and forgave our cheap nature when we were waiting till half 8 to order our drinks to take advantage of the 2 4 1 offer on cocktails and then even recommended a cocktail for us to try which was one of my favourite!

We had such a wonderful time! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was super friendly—especially our waitress, Lola. Even though it was a bit busy, she regularly checked on us to ensure we were having a great experience. And the drinks? Absolutely delicious! You can’t go wrong with the reggae rum punch. Highly recommend it!

I was out in Birmingham today 18.8.2025, I had been to to this place before a couple of years ago and was impressed , went again today with my brother , he has never been before , he too was very impressed & said he would be returning again , food was cooked fresh , and waiting staff were brilliant. Our waitress was a young lady called Sophia who was very attentive , 10/10 thank you so much guys for a lovely lunch.

We had a bottomless brunch and were served by Rosa — she was absolutely brilliant! I've been to so many bottomless brunches over the years, but Rosa really made this one the best I’ve ever been to. She was attentive, friendly, and created such a fun atmosphere. Truly amazing — a real credit to the business. Honestly can’t praise her enough!

First time in a Five Guys tonight. The burger was excellent and the topping choices made it very customisable. I was warned you got a lot of fries ... But I didn't listen and went large. I have as many fries left over now I have finished as I have eaten. I went for the spicy and they were quite hot (more than anticipated) and very filling. Drink is very expensive, but you get free refills. You really need to get a refill to make it any sort of value. Overall it is expensive for what you get, but the food is good. Maybe do it for a treat occasionally.

I must say, the food is really good — especially the fries, I loved them! The burger was delicious, and the service was great too. The place was clean, which is always a good sign. My only complaint is that it felt a little pricey, but overall, a very good experience.

I really love it. It was my first time at five guys, and I enjoyed the meal. I like how you can easily pick what goes on your burgers, and the milkshake was deliciousssss. You can have different things in your milkshake also. The environment was neat and quiet, and the staff were really friendly.

Not going to be coming back anytime soon. Let me tell you why. For a spend of £15-£18 there are much better places. McDonalds, Smashburger, Burger & Sauce, Nandoes all have better food for a lesser price. In these places it will cost you likely less than that for a meal. You get delicious fries, burgers, anything and usually very well made. For £18 I got a paper bag with a burger that had a very cold bun and overly chewy beef. One side of it was absolutely caked in sauce so much it was really messy to eat and ingredients constantly slipped out. All of this was wrapped in a foil like I were having a packed lunch. Then over that foil-wrapped burger was a cup of fries and a ton more fries dumped on top. As for the drink it was great but that's a given since it's dispensed from a freestyle machine. The flavour was fine but nothing great. It had the All In ingredients and tasted nice and the chips were fine too but the price is a huge let down for me along with how the burger was served. Would have much rather gone to Nandoes or Smashburger. For a £8-10 meal, great if the burger is served properly. For the £15-18 mark absolutely not.

This is one of my worst experience in five guys. Horrible taste with my Bacon cheeseburger. The Burger just kept falling apart while I was eating coz the Burger wasn't even assembled properly. The meat tasted like my uncle's shoe, old and dry, and smelled a bit weird. That Burger I'm sure wasn't made to order since how bad the texture it was. The cheese wasn't even melted in my cheeseburger and it came cold. I swear if I've ordered more chips the US is going to declare war on me. Every single fry was soggy and soaked in oil. Some of the fries were not even salted. Given I've paid for my food here, I expected some quality food. Yet, I'm greeted with pig slop that has been in the oil tank for decades. Do not recommend.

I had the Turkish Eggs from the Early Birds Menu and they were absolutely delicious! A perfect balance of flavours – creamy poached eggs, rich and tangy yoghurt, crispy toast, warm spices, and fresh herbs. Every bite was a little explosion of taste. The service was lovely too – friendly, attentive, and relaxed. Such a great start to the day in a place with great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in Birmingham and looking for something special for breakfast!

I’ve come here over the years for takeaways, with friends and family and to just get admin work done. I really liked this bakery and the staff are so so nice. However, since they expanded the bakery, it’s just become chaotic. They’ve lost some nice staff due to not accommodating for the expansion. For example, they should have made a separate coffee bar so that there is space for a bigger coffee machine for at least 2x staff to focus on hot drinks. 1 poor staff member sweating over trying to make the whole bakery’s coffees and all the takeaway drinks. Freeing up space by having a separate drinks making space would allow for more space in the front for 2x tills as there are cues now. Only 1x till also means that another staff member is stuck by themselves dealing with orders, takeaways and all the online orders. The staff honestly look quite stressed, I really feel for them. Especially as they are so nice to me, and a few of the female staff I get on well with. Once this is addressed it would be back to 5 stars as a rating! Other than that, the bakery items are good quality, food is really nice, creative flavours although quite pricey these days. I would not want to pay more if the prices went up further. The coffee is also quite nice and I really like the in house creations such as the miso caramel which you can also buy in store!

After hearing so many people rave about this place, I popped in today to pick up a couple of sweet treats. I chose the cherry and almond brioche and honestly, they were absolutely amazing! The lady at the counter couldn’t have been nicer or more personable either. What a lovely little gem of a place! I’ll definitely be back soon!

I’m rarely amazed by brunch food but wow this was amazing….delicious food ! Portions were huge so 100% worth its price ! It’s definitely my favourite place right and will for sure come back. Ps. I recommend coming quite early or booking a table as bakery got full pretty quickly.

Cute little bakery I recommend grabbing some baked goods! The brunch was ok, a bit pricey for what it was. It is a nice place to try some interesting pastries. The iced matcha latte was nice, along with the caramel latte. Not halal, but they did have veg options.

This is paradise for pastry and coffee lovers. And great brunch menu with a twist from the traditional ones. Can’t wait for my next visit.

I've been here quite a few times over the last few years, and the service has always been really good. Went yesterday, and the service, I say, was just average. There was no warm welcome, like on previous occasions. Our food and drinks were put on the table in a rough manner, a few things we wanted, they did not have. The pastries I have to say are really nice, but the breakfast portions have reduced in size.

I saw La Brioche all over TikTok for their trending fruit pastries and had to try them. Luckily, it’s not too far from me so I went to check it out. When I got there, most of them were already gone. They told me they sell out fast — which I get — but honestly, if you know they go quick, why not just make more? I even overheard a couple who had come from pretty far and were disappointed the mango one was already finished. I managed to grab 4 (at £6 each 😬), so it came to £24 — definitely pricey. The fruit ones were good and fresh, and the chocolate one was phenomenal. Taste-wise, no complaints. Are they worth the hype and the price? Probably not. But they are pretty and trendy, so I get why people are lining up for them. Worth trying once, but not something I’d go out of my way for again.

It’s a cute cafe and family run. I do think the cakes need labels as the staff need to repeat themselves per customer which must be annoying. The cakes do need longer to defrost as both were frozen inside. I wasn’t wowed by these two in the pictures as they were quite sweet which isn’t my preference. However, their pistachio cheesecake tasted nice and their eclairs look really nice so might try them next time

Loved it 😁 Food was lovely and there's a great selection of desserts too (the strawberry macaron was just the perfect amount of everything!). It was quite filling. We didn't have to wait long for the food and the waiters were nice. Parking might be a little hassle as you'll have to park a little further down on a residential road somewhere but hey ho, more steps I guess.

There is potential, but the cakes had the insert in the middle frozen solid, which makes me think they were rushed for sale and not given enough time to defrost. We had savoury food too, but it was poor. Watery and bland shakshuka, and bombay omelette that had nothing bombay in it, no spices, no herbs, and it was borderline raw. Service was unattentive and it was obvious the staff was not very experienced.

Great spot ! They offer a large range of pastry that look nice and tasty. I've tried the coffee bean one. As a coffee lover it was really a good surprise.👍🏻👌🏻

Had the full English, was ok. Lacked bit of taste. The ferrero milkshake was arguably one of the best I have had, and the fruit cakes are nice too, pretty good flavour in them.

We ordered some birthday cupcakes for our daughter’s birthday which were absolutely gorgeous. The colours just what we wanted. The taste and texture were amazing. Along side I ordered the gorgeous Christmas cupcakes for my husband. Just outstanding the presentation was amazing. I’ll be back again in February,March. Thank you again. Pat x

I ordered a 60th Birthday cake from Chitty’s Cakes, it was so easy to place an order. I sent Julie pictures of how I wanted the cake to look, and she went above and beyond. The cake was even better than I imagined it to be, and it tasted incredible too! Overall an absolutely incredible cake, was a lovely surprise for my dad who was amazed! I highly recommend!!

Jules made the most beautiful, scrumptious wedding cake for us. We told Jules what we would like and nothing was too much trouble. When we were looking at wedding cakes, we struggled initially as I have coeliac disease. I was going to give up and just have a little supermarket cake for myself when we found Jules. She was able to make me a delicious raspberry gluten free cake, and lots of cupcakes to go with it. By the end of the evening, we had no cupcakes left and most of the top tier cake was gone! People told me they didn't even realise it was gluten free. Everybody also said how delicious the cupcakes were. Neither me nor any of our other gluten free guests had any reaction too, so I would definitely recommend Jules to others who dietary needs.

If I could give you more than 5 ⭐️ then I would!! We recently used Chitty’s cakes for our wedding on 4th May 2024 @ Edgbaston Park Hotel. We talked at length with Julie and chose the perfect cake to match our colour scheme. Very reasonably priced too! All our family/ friends guests absolutely loved it!! We opted for a 3 tier to include salted caramel on the base, red velvet in the middle and chocolate on the top It was delicious!! 😋 There was hardly any left!! The beautiful favours were stunning too. Thank you so much. Julie was amazing! She went above and beyond my expectations for my baby shower cake! I showed her the backdrop layout and theme and she suprised me with the end product! Not only the design was amazing, the cake tasted sooo good!! Even though I was nervous as I went by her reviews and wanted an eggless cake. Evetyobe at the baby shower loved taste and asked me where I got it from! I will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you so much!!

Ordered a cake for my son 18th birthday. Got to the restaurant to only find ants in the cake. Obviously to the shock none of us thought to take pictures. Returned the cake the next day, staff were rude and tried to take the blame away from themself. I would give 0star if I could. It’s been 3 days and the manager hasn’t called back yet. I will never get my son’s birthday celebration back but I have no intentions of letting this go and will report this to the food standards. I suggest anyone with bad experience to do the same and I will request a refund from my bank.as they refused

Ordered 4 cake slices and all 4 cakes were old. Most likely was left out a few days. Biscuits were stale. Normally its light. Shop wasn’t no help said can’t do anything. Wouldn’t recommend this branch!!!!

I recently picked up a cake from this shop, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing! The cake was beautifully made and tasted incredible — you can really see the care and quality in their work. I’ve noticed some people spreading false information about parking tickets, but I can confidently say that’s not true. We had no issues at all with parking or tickets. Don’t let that stop you from visiting this wonderful place! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for delicious cakes and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit!

This is an amazing shop to buy cakes for your special occasions – the cakes are absolutely scrumptious! I’ve seen a few comments mentioning parking tickets, but as regular customers, we’ve never had any issues. If someone parks carelessly or in the wrong spot, it’s only natural that a ticket might be issued – and in that case, it’s our own responsibility. It’s not fair to blame the shop for mistakes that are outside their control.

Come for the Criffin, you won’t regret it. This splendid, eclectic bakery offers a large selection of baked goods. It’s a huge place with comfy seating and an oriental themed flavour to its surroundings. The staff are warm and chatty. Do check out the pastries. Goodness gracious, they’re something else.

This lovely bakery is hidden away on Dale End, it's a gem! This was my second visit and I received another warm welcome by the member of staff. I had the tasty bacon, brie and onion chutney sandwich, I opted for the sourdough bread after having the ciabatta bread last time. The sandwiches are thick which I like and there was enough bacon and brie inside. I had a luke warm hot chocolate, that's why I gave 4 stars, but I assume this is how they make it. They have a great selection of pastries, I had the chocolate and hazelnut swirl to takeaway (it was delicious 😋 ate it as soon as I got home). I will definitely be back to try one of the breakfasts or the pizza. 👌

went to visit yesterday and got this cronut to take away, was sooo good, tasted v fresh and v sweet, not chewy at all! Crispy but fluffy and soft 🤤 they have so many pretty pastries and bakes on display!

Great little bakery with a massive choice of home baked goods. I had some raspberry bread pudding which was lovely. I have yet to try their cruffins. There bread selection looked great as well. The cafe also offers cooked dishes and the coffee was delicious. The staff was super friendly.

Best bread and pastries in town, I've tried a few bakeries in town and none have been up to the standard of Orientee. The reason for 4 stars is due to the roast dinners and pizza's, they're definitely not 'bad', but can be improved. The pizza itself was very tasty, it was just that the toppings all fell off leaving me to eat the toppings and base separately. Other than that, the price/quality ratio is great

So.. went there first thing in the morning today, grabbed few things such as coffee,a cake and.. a profiterole. Came back home, opened the box and started eating. Then I realised it was frozen inside. I saw the lady pulling the box from under the actual display but was sure it was just packed in beforehand in case there would be a queue etc. It seem like I was wrong and this one was probably from before the bank holiday. Just frozen so they’d save some money and not throw the food away. I have a very bittersweet feeling now as it wasn’t cheap, comparing the quality now and even two years ago it is so disappointing! Not coming back :) and recommend to everybody to ask kindly if the things are fresh before leaving.. I’m attaching the picture so you can see the actual flakes..that was after I removed the top bit.

lovely place. biggest concern was the wasps and other insects sitting on the pastries inside the bakery shelves. is it not possible to have sliding door or one of those plastic flex apron covers ?

Fantastic food! We ordered the Hog roast sausage roll and an almond croissant on with two coffees. Coffee was some of the best we have had in a very long time. Would be nice to have the option for the croissant warmed. The site does have a toilet. However, the cafe is situated in the centre of their car park, with lots of traffic moving around. Young children need to be kept under close eyes due to the cars. The parking bays also aren't labelled, which led to some interesting parking, making navigating the car park quite difficult. Would highly recommend a visit.

I had seen this place online during my recent trip and I couldn't resist a visit. I popped in and got a coffee, maple pecan Danish and a Lemon meringue tart, they were all delicious! The setting was just adorable a perfect autumn setting. The staff were lovely and welcoming even though the que was out the door they were welcoming and took time for a little chat. I try to shop independently and the customer service here made this place really stand out. Unfortunately I don't live close at all or they would be taking all my money!!

So we were convinced by the social media posts it was going to be super cosy and give cute autumn vibes. The cafe was so busy, lines around the bend to the point where you couldnt get a table, people were saving them when they were further away from the start of the queue. We finally ordered, the pastries and cakes werent labelled if they were veg or vegan. The drinks were from a machine. Some of the bakes were ok and toasties were edible. Learnt a lesson to stay away from instagram hyped places. Also there were dogs and a strange smell around the place.. maybe owners were letting them do their business outside the cabin?

Amazing bakery, lovely atmosphere, a real little gem. The BBQ pulled pork toasties were amazing, so is the chocolate and custard croissant. Coffee is rich and full bodied. The food was so good we picked up a red velvet and a carrot cake to take away - also incredible. Lovely, moist and full of flavour. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing service

I’m sad to report that this was a distinctly underwhelming experience. My daughter and I decided to pop in for an afternoon drink and a pastry. We normally go to EL&N, however their recent food hygiene rating has put us off, so we thought we’d try somewhere new. Firstly, the general ambience is rather grubby and downmarket: the tables were tacky, the singular a toilet an afterthought and everywhere looked like it needed a good scrub. We had to wait for a table (no problem), however it was almost impossible to catch anyone’s eye, so the whole process was unclear. When we were seated, we were given some rather tired and shabby menus which immediately adhered themselves to the surface of the table. Not to be deterred, we made our choice from the limited selection of pastries and cakes available. I chose the passionfruit cruffin which had seen better days and was still dripping in cooking fat. It was far from the light and delicate laminated pastries that I have tried at artisan bakeries and I felt rather let down. We noticed that the general atmosphere was unfriendly, I suspect that this was partly due to the staff’s fantastic ability to avoid eye contact at all times. Even my daughter noted that she had not seen a single member of waiting staff actually smile during the entirety of our visit. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

TLDR: I’d only recommend this place if you’re getting a pastry from the front. Long wait times (45+ mins) + no cooling system = not a great place to dine in. Came here twice and had very different experiences. When a friend and I grabbed a pastry from the front, we were served and seated right away, even moving to a booth when requested. The atmosphere was great and the interior is very aesthetic and appealing for social media. No complaints here. When I came alone a few months later to order brunch, I had a 2/5 experience. First, it took around 5-10 minutes to be seated with no acknowledgment of the long wait time, even with several moments of eye contact with staff who didn’t seem very rushed, though this can be overlooked. Second, I waited over 45 minutes for my food (not a guess or overestimate) without acknowledgment of any sort. There was a period of around 15 minutes where nothing came out of the kitchen (I had a direct view of where the food exited). During this wait time, it was increasingly apparent how uncomfortable the space was. There was no AC and the building has no windows to open. The only cooling system was a single fan, and with the many skylights, the restaurant felt like a greenhouse. Literally outside the restaurant was cooler than inside and that’s not an exaggeration. The food itself was alright. I ordered the harissa benedict and the only qualm I have with it was that the eggs were almost hard boiled and not runny at all. There was a lot of chorizo on it and the mushrooms were great, however I don’t think I’d pay £14 for it again.

A lovely brunch, but nothing special. We ordered the granola bowl, some toast and some bakes to take home. The sourdough was lovely (although the jam alongside is just a jar, not homemade), and the bowls were okay, albeit quite lacking on the fruit. The bakes we took home were really disappointing. The biscoff cruffin had no biscoff 😅 and the chocolate chip cookie was completely tasteless. The setting itself was lovely, a great spot to meet for a coffee.

I love medicine bakery so I was chuffed to find it open on new street just a walk away from the office! Lunch was delicious! I was excited to have my usual fried chicken but they ran out!!??? Shockkkkk! But hey I got to try something new and went for Turkish eggs! Delicious and very healthy. Lovely space and atmosphere! There are individual tables and sharing tables so make a note of what you want on your booking if you’re fussy!

First time here for breakfast . Very smart place in the mailbox Birmingham. Menu good with lots of lovely choices. My choice-sausage brioche with a side of hash brown. Very tasty. 😁 Rooibos tea. ☕️ Group of four. Made reservations but not really needed. Good service. Comfy seats. Nice clean space. Bakery section cakes etc looked amazing and took selection home 🤣🤣👏 There are other locations in the city 😁 Toilets nice and clean. Child friendly. Disabled friendly. Wheelchair access. Been a few times and usually really enjoy, bit of a shame the food wasn't as good today. I had the vegan brunch with an added poached egg which was more water than egg. My partner had the regular brunch, both of our hash browns felt a bit undercooked. But drinks were lovely and we've been before for pastries which were delicious!

Sent a cake design for my son's first birthday and Rose had created it exactly as requested! Was so happy with the design but it was also delicious! Friends and family enjoyed the cake and said it was lovely!

Our wedding cake was an absolute dream! 😍 It tasted amazing, looked gorgeous, and fit our theme perfectly. The service was so lovely, especially since it was our first time ordering. I ordered a cake for my dekha dekhi. It was amazing and the decoration was so detailed. Not only that, the cake tasted amazing too! so happy about the result. Though, it was hard for me to find where I can get the cake from because I didn't opt for delivery. But it wasn't a big deal as I was so happy with the cake! :)

I was looking for a good cake baker for my daughter's first birthday. I came across this company and given the beautiful cakes and many followers on Instagram I wanted to order here. I paid £100 for a Smash cake. I had sent a photo to see if they could make it. They could, I got a response via whatsapp, but it really wasn't made the same. The covering/decorating was not as I had hoped and completely crooked. Buttercream was too sweet and you could feel granulated sugar in your mouth, plus the cake itself weighed kilos, instead of a sponge, soft and airy cake I got a very thick, dry and hard cake. Even after I left it outside for hours on their advice. I could have made a cake like that myself. I expected something special for that money After I texted them about my dissatisfaction, my dissatisfaction was not taken seriously. And that if that cake is expensive for me, but cheap for someone else. I threw the cake away completely. We didn't even eat a piece of it, because even as a smash cake my daughter couldn't get a piece off with her hands. I am very disappointed and sad! But my satisfaction is about how you performed there! Thirdly: Again, it was not about paying the money for a cake, but about what kind of cake I got for that money! Nobody forced me to order that cake! Absolutely my choice! But certainly not how a cake should be! You never asked during our conversation how we could solve this! I can add it as an attachment! It was not my intention to get the money back! But on his coffin a better cake! I only wanted to place my dissatisfaction for other people! There is a fortunate possibility for that via Google! Im not one for leaving reviews but if I could give Zero stars I would! Really dissapointed with food standards but most of all the way I was treated by staff. I ordered for the first time from the cottage Kingswinford, I ordered a Carvey for 3 people and paid £36.. when it arrived as I took it out the bag the boxes it came in had gone all soggy so as I lifted box out of bag all the dinner fell through the bottom and onto the floor and the other boxes had gone the same. I called the cottage straight away to explain and they said nothing they could do and to contact uber ( this was not a driver issue in my eyes and uber didn't reply) They finally said the manager wasn't available and took my number to call me back...2 hrs later ( and no lunch! ) no call so I called again , explained again to another member of staff and was told someone would call me back when she had spoke to manager.Another 2 hrs later still no call so I called again and was spoke to really rudely by a different member of staff who again said basically not there problem and there was no supervisor or manager i could speak to after leaving me on hold then coming back and saying he was on his own and no one else there for me to talk to .By this time I was really upset and frustrated as £36 is a lot of money to end up on floor and know one wanted to help me. Very dissapointed by the way I was treated by one of mine and my families local pubs.

Had to pop in to see the new manager, this due to my connections with a local historical organisation and local school. There has been great upheaval at the Cottage recently. The manager stated that the last incumbent had left taking everything that wasn't nailed down. Although open, it is to be refurbished and new tenants move in. So my review is really a hope that the pub will carry on and have success in the long term. So many all over the country have closed.

Great value for money. The homemade chips were amazing. The only fault was that our steaks were meant to be medium but done slightly over.. but still tasted great. Would defo go back again.

Proper home cooked food 😋 👌 delicious & great portions, most of the mains are around £11. Good alcohol free options, 0% gin, 0% Heineken & a fruit cider. We both had the steak & ale pie, loved it, chunky chips & meaty gravy, can't wait to go back & work my way through the menu 😂

I ordered from here on Uber eats as I’ve seen it a few times thought I’d give it a try, as you can see Cajun chicken burger is cremated, it was rock hard, no sauce or salad… I also paid extra for cheese and bacon which wasn’t added onto the burger either. Then I come to open the cheese burger loaded fries and the burger had a weird taste to it and there was no gherkins or onions on it, like it had all been thrown together and sent, and to top it all off all stone cold. Heard good things but never again, I would be embarrassed to even send this out if I was a chef.

The food here was absolutely amazing, proper home cooked food (including the unbelievable chips). Would HIGHLY recommend the salt & pepper chicken. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Definately the worst food I have had the misfortune to try. The chips must have been reheared 3 or 4 times they were so rubbery as was the meat and gravy in the pie. The vegetables were reportedly carrotts but did not look, feel or taste like any veg I've ever haf!

I ordered two cakes for my twins, and my girls chose the cake designer. The gentleman was very patient as I had many questions and requested some changes. The service was excellent, and the cakes looked amazing—much better than I expected. They were also delicious! I will definitely go to them again next time.

Great communication with The Cake Artists where we discussed attention to detail, using the latest badge to create this masterpiece! The cake went down a treat at our family gathering, and everyone said how gorgeous it was, and how tasty! My husband was thrilled with it. If you're looking to have a bespoke cake for a special occasion, look no further than The Cake Artists. Should you be stuck for ideas they have a great selection of designs to choose from, but they also come up with useful suggestions to make the cake you order really special for the person/day. Our cake came with plenty of papers to wrap cake slices for guests to take home. Absolutely brilliant!

Absolutely Delightful Eggless Cake – Exceeded All Expectations! I cannot recommend this cake shop highly enough! I recently ordered an eggless cake for my son’s 18th Birthday, and it was truly outstanding in every way. Finding a delicious eggless cake that doesn’t compromise on texture or flavor can be challenging, but this shop absolutely nailed it. The cake was incredibly moist, rich, and flavorful — you would never guess it was eggless! The balance of sweetness was perfect, and the icing was smooth and decadent without being overwhelming. Not only did it look stunning, but it also had that homemade, lovingly-crafted taste that is hard to find. From the first bite to the last, every guest was impressed, with many asking for seconds (and the name of the bakery!). The staff was also a pleasure to deal with — responsive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We’ve been loyal customers of the cake artists for years now, so we couldn’t think of anyone else to make our wedding cake. They made the most stunning cake, with incredible flavours, and everyone raved about how tasty it was.

Over the many years that this place has been open I have always been drawn to it. The smokey atmosphere, chatter and mugs of tea takes me back to many years of working and visiting with work colleagues and apprentices. Sadly some of the old staff members are no longer with us, but the friendly spirit and big portions are very much there alongside the old pin ball machine. Interior wise not a lot has changed at all and it gave me floods of memories. Good honest food at great prices.

Disgusting customer service. Rude. Unapologetic. Waited over an hour for our delivery. No apology. Given the wrong order. Waited another 15 minutes. No apology. Food cold. Never using them again.

Ordered a bacon & egg sandwich with a cup of tea. The tea arrived after 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes no sign of my sandwich. I checked at the counter & was informed my order had been overlooked. I asked for a refund & left. No apology, nobody cared. 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

Great breakfast poor customer service, waited over 30mins didn't arrive, served everyone else totally forgot me, excuse was sorry we're really busy, there was only 7 off us in there, took my money back never return again, disappointed 😞

Staff are nice, and food is bang on, the inside look of the cafe could do with a bit of TLC. Prices are fair, toilet is a bit of a disappointment as well tight as ur on airplane ✈️ lol see you soon.

A lovely selection of freshly baked bread, cakes, doughnuts and savouries. They usually do a sausage roll that is fantastic, they mix the flavours up as well but the quality is always bang on. Get there early if you can as they do sell out of things the later you go as it's that popular especially on the weekends. Tucked away on an industrial estate off Stirchley high Street but not a bother to find. You can also order ahead if you want a batch of something made.

The best bakery in Stirchley but you need to get in early or order in advance. Our favourite is the seeded sourdough but the overnight white tin makes amazing toast. Also fabulous croissants and marmite and cheddar buns.

On a real seesaw with this place, it's right at the bottom of my road so was excited and like to support local business. Bottom line for me is the prices are just too high, £3.50 for one donut is quite shocking, I appreciate they're hand made but still that's a huge ask. I liked the lemon meringue donut and it wasn't stingy on filling, and would have more but I just can't justify it. Coffee also is very small and expensive with no syrup options. I tried a few pastries which I found to be quite tough/dry which again for the price is not right. I was leaning more towards 2 stars but the staff were very nice and service was lovely. I'd really of loved to be a regular especially being so close, but the price tag doesn't match the experience. I wish the guys all the best.

The hardest thing is getting there before they sell out or close! Their sour dough bread is one of the best around and all the sweet treats are fantastic too. Personally like the brownies a day later when they are a bit dryer and crispier. But might just be me!

They have delicious fresh pastries, breads and coffees. My only HUGE bugbear is that dogs are allowed into the sales area where the produce is sold/displayed & the fact that these are on a standard height table not a display case where there is no plastic or other types of shielding between dog & product makes me not want to go back until I see 'guide dogs only' or a more protected food display/sales area.

Great selection of sourdough bread and other bakes but the highlight has to be the amazing filled doughnuts, simply delicious. A bit of a queue first thing but so worth the wait. Get on over Wednesday or Saturday or see them at some local farmers markets.

You will need to arrive early to have any choices as they sell out quickly. Have only been twice and the offerings were only ok. The white sourdough tin loaf is a little light and too soft for my taste, and the sourdough tang not great with some things like jam. I had a pain au chocolat which was too heavy and chewy. There is good parking outside but sometimes a queue to enter, only one at a time. They also sell coffee and bread flour.

Faye is so helpful when you place your order, coming up with ideas to get the most from your chosen theme. The cakes look amazing and taste delicious! We won't order from anyone else. Just fabulous!!

Faye at Green Bean Cake Co is a fantastic and extremely talented baker and cake decorator. Not only do the cakes look phenomenal but they taste amazing too. We chose fruit and carrot and ginger for our two tiers. We visited Faye for a consultation and tasting session before committing to ordering, and everything went perfectly. Faye understood what we wanted for our wedding cake and delivered above and beyond for us. Faye also delivered and assembled the cake at our venue, added flowers from our florist and our cake topper for us so we had nothing to do on the day! The cake has received countless comments both from guests on the day to many commenters on social media. Yes having a heavily decorated cake is more expensive, so you need to be aware of that before deciding what you want. The amount of effort and detail that went into this cake is outstanding and worth every penny in my opinion. I loved having a cake that reflected our interests and personalities, and we will fondly remember it forever. Thank you Faye.

Faye’s cakes are amazing. We always order our special cakes from her. She is friendly, approachable, talented and reasonable. She always does exactly what you ask for and makes your cake tailor made to suit you. Faye goes above and beyond and the cakes taste delicious. It’s always a shame when we have eaten them. If you’re after yummy, delicious cakes then Faye is your lady. Faye has done my wedding cake, my son’s 1st birthday and now my daughter’s 1st birthday cake and they never disappoint. A lot of time and effort is put into her cakes and they taste amazing. Highly recommend.

Baby showers My dumbo baby shower cake again dazzled me away with the decorating skills! So much so I decided to do the same for my cousin hannah shower (Peter rabbit themed). Highly recommend

Juci Luci did an absolutely Amazing job with our wedding cake in July 2022. She was very professional, had great communication and was very open to idea discussions leading up to the event. We opted for the 5 Tier cake! Having discussed a vision, she produced a very detailed design for our cake and bought it to life on the day. This was exactly what we wanted. She definitely went above and beyond and we were very happy with the end product. We had so many compliments on the day for the look and taste of the cake. I would highly recommend booking Juci Luci for your big day, you will not be disappointed.

Again Luci has made a delicious cake for us. I keep going back to the Juci Luci cake company. For every celebration I have had I ordered cakes from her. Once I tried her cakes a couple of years ago I never want to go anywhere else. They are delicious, look beautiful, just more than perfect. Our wedding was Sept 2022. Sophie was a joy to work with. We sampled a few flavours before deciding what we wanted, but it was hard to choose only 3! We had an idea of what we wanted and she delivered, it was gorgeous and tasted every bit as good as we hoped. We also opted for vegan cupcakes to cater for vegan guests and they were so tasty. I chose Sophie as I had followed her work for some time and her designs are stunning. I only wish we could o it all again and have more of her delicious cakes.

We used Cakes by Sophie Page for our wedding in June. Sophie was great with communication and we went for a tasting session where we tried multiple flavours. Sophie's studio is great as there are lots of different types of cakes on display for inspiration and Sophie will do a mock up sketch for how your cake will looks and even helps with the flowers and styling with the cake. On the wedding day there was no stress at all, Sophie just turned up and created the display exactly how we wanted it. We went for a 3 tiered semi-naked cake with the flavours: Lemon, Biscoff and Mocha. It looked fantastic and was delicious. Our favour was boxes to take cake home and we're still getting comments on how great the flavours were and the freshness. Thank you so much Cakes by Sophie Page. Sophie was amazing! She created our cake for our August wedding. The communication was great from start to finish. Leah is incredible at what she does. I have had cakes of Leah for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. She is so talented and her cakes are so delicious and also amazing to look at. For all your cake needs, Leah is definitely the girl to go to, I can not recommend her enough!!

If I could 0 stars I would. Leah is the absolute worst, she has not only messed up my cake over the years but my family members' also and we still gave her grace because she always has an excuse. she took the absolute p this year and booked my cake in for the wrong day, she wasn't answering any messages or calls on the day(if she does respond she takes ages. As in days/weeks at times) so i had to go to her house and she didn't answer. But then just so happened to check her messages and noticed her stupid mistake. She said she could do the cake but wouldn't be until she's back at work. I gave her grace again. The day she had mistakenly booked in for came and gone and no word from her once again, not answering calls or messages in true leah manner. Ended up asking for a refund which she has yet to give. She gives pathetic excuses every time and doesn't care at all. We've given her plenty of business and this is what she does. Book with her if you DON'T WANT A CAKE AND ARE HAPPY WITH PATHETIC EXCUSES INSTEAD. Birthday was ruined. Leah darling you need to fix up. You're a joke.

Every single time I have ordered off simply cakes by leah she has never failed to amaze me. My children love the cakes she designs and how good they taste. I have been ordering off her the past 2 years now and every time she's met high standards and I cant thank her enough. She gets back to messages as quickly as she can with how busy she is making other cakes just proves how amazing she is at what she does. 💜🧁🎂

Obviously it’s natural to be skeptical about anything you buy on the internet. As an event planner, I had a very crucial event that I was organising that needed a cake but I had little time in my hands to do it so I had to source out. Thanks heaven I stumbled on the 3 Little Dessert website and I took a leap of faith and placed my order. I can say I regret only a few things in my life but that phone call I made to Amanda was definitely NOT something I regret. She delivered a good service she promised. She made me a very beautiful cake topper as well, hence I am giving this one-stop shop 5 stars and I do recommend them to anyone.

Pam designed and made our two tier cake for our recent wedding at Ansty Hall. From the start the communication was friendly, helpful and very prompt. We wanted a simple, elegant cake which Pam did perfectly, matching the flowers that decorated it to the theme of our wedding exactly. My husband and I had Pamela make our wedding cake a month ago and what we got was beyond what we hoped it would be. It was exactly what we wanted but seeing it in person made it so much more perfect! We commissioned Pam to make our wedding cake in July this year and were absolutely thrilled with the results. Pam was friendly and easy to deal with whenever we contacted her and she helped us choose a cake design that suited our theme. We were also given the opportunity to do some 'cake tasting' in advance so that we could choose from the many wonderful flavours that Pam offers. Pam delivered our cake directly to the venue on our wedding day so that we didn't have to worry about setting it up etc. All our guests commented on the cake design and taste and we were so pleased with everything that I have already booked Pam to make another celebration cake for us next year.

I asked Karen to bake me a 40th Birthday cake at very short notice, and she accepted the challenge. from speaking to Karen, to delivery, took just three days, and the best chocolate cake I have ever seen emerged from its box. I'd highly recommend Occasional cakes to anyone needing a 'Oh Wow!' cake

Laura did the most amazing job bringing our vision to life to create the most amazing wedding cake for our special day. From the initial consultation all the way through to the final day, Laura provided an excellent, friendly and professional service. The cake was simply to die for and ever since the initial taster, we were so excited to eat it again as it’s the best cake we’ve ever tasted. Laura also provides a full breakdown of ingredients for those with any allergies and can cater for any special occasion. We’re so grateful to Laura for creating such an important part of our day and we could not recommend more highly enough. A truly 5 star service!

Laura supplied our stunning wedding cake for our winter wedding in December 2023 and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We had a great initial meeting to try samples and discuss our ideas and felt so at ease with Laura’s knowledge and expertise we knew straight away the cake was going to be amazing. (A cuddle with the squirrels of ‘The Nuthouse’ was a bonus!) On the big day Laura set everything up, sent us photos and came to the rescue to solve a minor crisis as we’d miscalculated the size of our cake topper! Not only did the cake look absolutely gorgeous - it tasted it too!

Lisa was professional quick to respond! We went for lemon cupcakes to match our wedding, and the flavour was amazing (especially the buttercream!). They looked amazing, and we were very happy with the result.

Our Founding Director initially used Oggy’s Cakes for her wedding cupcakes, and recently used her again to deliver treat boxes to the Wagstaff team during lockdown – it’s safe to say she is still fantastic! I booked Lisa for a 75th birthday cake for my mom several weeks in advance and paid my deposit in good faith. I have today been told she will no longer be making the cake for ‘personal reasons’ This was conveyed via email and text message. I have just a few weeks to come up with an alternative. Under these circumstances a phone call explaining the situation would have been more appropriate I feel. It’s simply not good enough to cancel last minute with no explanation! The trust has gone! I would think carefully before booking with Lisa in case she cancels on you last minute. I would not recommend oggys cakes to anyone, or will I ever use them again. Customer service 0 out of 10 ….

Aimee, made the most wonderful cake for my friends 30th. Not only was my request at short notice but she also delivered the cake to the venue for me too! A beautiful wedding cake! The cake tasting was by far my most favourite part of the wedding. Lots of different flavours-all gorgeous. Enrique was happy to work with different dietary requirements and the results were fantastic!

One of the very best around for bespoke cakes for weddings and birthdays, etc. If you're looking for something that not just tastes delicious, but also wows your guest/friends/family speechless, then this is your man. Don't take my word for it - look him up on Instagram and prepare to be gobsmacked. Vegan and eggless a speciality. Always super friendly and accommodating.

It’s way to expensive, and they don’t have a big range, but nice people...... also if you pay in cash they can refund you, if you pay with card then they will not give your money back, even though it’s your right by law to get a refund in the first 14 days regardless if it’s a bank transfer or cash in hand.....

The shop has closed now.. drove 40 miles to find out there have moved. So annoyed

Beautiful tasty cakes i highly recommend

This is a fantastic location, myself and my colleagues have been visiting for a couple of years now. From over 10+ visits we have never had a bad meal, it is always excellent. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and importantly the food is amazing. It is set in the countryside, the restaurant has lovely views, a wander down to the tepee lets you see the piglets, pigmy goats and the allotment. The burgers are so good, and the steaks, all locally sourced food. We have even had 2 work events hiring the tepee area and having a BBQ, it's the highlight of our work social calendar. Oh, and the mocktails are fab!

Coffee really nice and good selection of cakes. Prices a bit steep but ok. Seating area really nice but additional seating downstairs by windows could do with something to dress the windows and a fresh coat of paint wouldn't do a miss.

I always love visiting The Barn (Cafe) for their almond croissants 🥐 since I’m a coffee and croissant lover. I've been to almost all the nice cafes in the UK, so I highly recommend this place. However, the only challenge is that they only make a few croissants, and whenever I've visited—whether in the early morning or the afternoon—I’ve never managed to get two from the shelf. The coffee is nice, but the almond croissants 🥐 are definitely worth trying!

Fantastic setting outside in the garden. The tepee area was closed due to private function had just finished and the staff were cleaning up. Signage asked for you to order via the QR Code on the menu, this didn’t work well as we couldn’t add extras or omit food from the order. Had to order at the bar in the end, which was much easier. I asked the server if I should take the cutlery and condiments and she said no they will be brought over with the food. When the food arrived around 40 minutes later with a different server she said you need to fetch your own cutlery and was a little rude. Salad was very large and very good. Would definitely return.

Really lovely place and nice view. I have been here twice and each time I want to return with friends or family because I know they would love it. I love how they serve, gives a fine dine vibes. The dessert 🍨 is one of the best I have ever had! Twice now and I just want to try every dessert on their menu. Surprisingly no service charge. The person that brought our starter is so friendly, the same experience we had with him last time. I will definitely get to know his name next time. Clean environment Clean restroom 🚻

A recent discovery and the best Sunday lunch in a long while. Was worth a second visit the following week with a third visit booked with friends in August! Love the trio of meat; lamb, beef and pork so, hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful! Had the same staff member serve and very attentive, polite and courteous.

I had a great experience at the Little Desert Shop in Wednesfield! The staff was friendly and quick, making my visit enjoyable. The selection was excellent, and I found everything I needed easily. Highly recommend this shop for a fast and pleasant experience!

Awful experience. Ordered as a treat through UberEats. Half way through a small child eating his ice-cream with his cookie dough. He coughs up a sharp shard of plastic! After looking through the ice cream we found another piece. Two significantly large and sharp pieces of plastic found ! After trying to call to report the issue they did not answer. The lack of food safety for this to happen is shocking. Very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again! This could have ended so badly luckily it didnt this time.

The Moonwalker Shake is on another level! Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor – it’s the perfect blend of indulgence and refreshment. The texture is smooth, not too heavy, and every sip feels like a treat. Definitely one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a long time – highly recommend trying it if you want something both fun and delicious.

Had the best white chocolate cookie dough today. Fantastic service, lovely and clean and welcoming and Sumara who served us was so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again.

Nice little dessert shop close to cineworld. Very clean and well maintained. We were served by Pinky who did a fab job. She got our order perfectly right even though we customised our dessert quite a bit! The brownies were fresh and so moist unlike any other branch of LDS I've tried. Would recommend!

This Veggie brunch! Perfect fuel for the day! The sweet potato was perfectly cooked with a dusting of paprika, crispy halloumi, toasted sourdough bread, vibrant salad, perfectly cooked mushrooms (winner winner) and healthy serving of hummus. The flat white was rich and aromatic, served at my preferred hot temperature. The freshly squeezed juice is also a must try- immune boosting! We are regulars here, the breakfast is spot on all the time, owner always friendly and accommodating, if you’re local you need to give this place a try, better to book a table as it does get super busy, fresh cakes at the till as well that are scrumptious!!!!!

First experience at The Backyard cafe, and it was excellent 5/5. Andrea was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I’ve since been back and had a take out 👍🏻 I had a toastie and fresh healthy juice which was amazing. I also tried some of the brownies to take home for the family, they were also delicious and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Really cute little coffee shop. Service was brilliant, the staff are so friendly. Comfy and spacious seating available. I tried the truffle bites which were delicious! It's located just outside all the hub of central town so it's a nice and quiet location if you want to take a breather from the business of the town. I am a returning customer and would definitely come here again and definitely recommend!

We organised two cakes to be made (at quite short notice and during a busy period of the year). They made them just as described and tasted fantastic!!! The Red Velvet (10 inch) was deliciously chocolately and the Lemon Gateaux (8 inch) was sublimely lemony! Thanks for making the day special!

Stopped by for a morning coffee and cake as I liked the look of the selection from the window. I was not disappointed... 2 lovely members of staff were working behind the counter, very friendly and polite. One of them said he'd just made fresh croissants and pastries so obviously I had to have one of those. Delicious cinnamon swirl still hot from the oven! And a really nice coffee too. Would definitely recommend if you're after a sweet treat. ** I went back the very next day for more!** Highly recommend.

Bought a birthday cake for my dad’s 90th birthday. Surantha called me after placing the order to check that I hadn’t ordered a cake that was too big for the amount of people which I thought was really considerate as he clearly didn’t want to over charge. The cake itself was really good. Everyone commented on how light the cake was and how nice it tasted. I thought it was extremely good value and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Their cakes are absolutely amazing so fresh and delicious! The girls working there are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and Surantha is especially kind and helpful. The ice creams are really nice, and the pasta is just too good, full of flavor and perfectly cooked.

Always a warm welcome, superb selection of cake and patisserie. Lovely lunchtime menu, a real change from the run of the mill offerings . Sutantha created our wedding cake too, it went down well with our guests.

What a lovely venue with the most impressive looking and delicious cakes. The Crème Brûlée is out of this world and the trio platter is great value for money. All the staff are incredibly helpful and always smiling which is lovely to see. I can't wait to come back and try the savoury menu. Highly recommend this great venue 👌
