Villa Saint-Ange is a luxurious hotel in Aix-en-Provence, standing out with its impressive 8,000m² garden in the city center. The architecture reflects the best of Aix-en-Provence with Second Empire style roofs and ochre walls. The 35 rooms are adorned with velvet and tapestries reminiscent of the cozy atmosphere of old private mansions. Guests can enjoy classic and elegant cuisine under an imposing glass roof.
Where to begin? We came to Provence and the French Riviera for our honeymoon, and Villa Saint-Ange was simply magnificent. The property feels like stepping back in time — elegant, historic, and beautifully preserved — yet every amenity is perfectly modern. It was an ideal base to explore Aix and venture into Provence! We stayed in a Junior Suite and dined at their gastronomy restaurant, where both the service and food were exceptional — truly among the best meals of our entire trip. The pool area, complete with a jacuzzi, was stunning and incredibly relaxing. Throughout our stay, the staff made sure we were genuinely cared for. A flawless experience from start to finish!!
Pranam C — Google review
Villa Saint-Ange is a stunning property, beautifully designed with serene surroundings and tasteful details. While the aesthetics and most of the staff were truly wonderful, unfortunately, my experience during a recent one-night stay did not live up to the level of service I expected from a property of this caliber. Upon check-in just after 5:00 PM, I was informed I would receive a complimentary welcome plate, with the option to have it delivered immediately or later in the evening. I opted for 7:30 PM, but despite reminding the front desk, the welcome plate never arrived. I was also told that the pool would remain open until 8:00 PM and that poolside service was available. I arrived around 6:30 PM and was informed that towels were no longer being distributed for the evening, though the attendant did make an exception and provided two. When I tried to order a beverage, I was told that service had already stopped—contrary to what I had been told at check-in. While I was in the pool, the attendant began closing umbrellas—including mine—even though the sun doesn't set until approximately 9:30 PM this time of year. Interestingly, a few loungers down, another guest’s umbrella remained open. About 30 minutes later, I saw that same guest approached and offered beverages, which were later delivered by the same attendant who had told me service had ended. While most of the team was professional and courteous—particularly at the front desk and valet—these inconsistencies in communication and service impacted the overall experience. I was traveling through the area and only stayed for one night, but sadly, my brief stay fell short of the standard I had anticipated. With some attention to consistency and guest follow-through, Villa Saint-Ange has the potential to offer a truly exceptional experience.

Beautiful hotel. And exceptional grounds. Location is really convenient to Aix. Pool is a great place to relax though the beds fill up quickly. Little touches at the hotel - hats, towels, sandals and beach bag - are wonderful. Hotel staff were very friendly and warm. We found the pool staff to be friendly though the service was only average. The restaurant is beautiful and the outdoor grounds are amazing sitting by the waterfall. We found the restaurant staff to be a little pretentious and cold both at breakfast and at dinner. Our meal was a bit of a mix up, serving our mains before our appetizer, which is a little extraordinary for a 5 star. That said the food was very good. Beautiful hotel. Would definitely recommend though be prepared to spend $ :)
Stacy B — Google review
We stayed at the hotel for five nights. Excellent service and friendly staff. After we departed hotel and arrive to city of Carcassonne(3 hours drive), we realized we left our passports in the hotel safe. We immediately called hotel to find a way to get them back. Hotel staff went out of their way to help us. Hotel concierge found a delivery service to bring passports to us. Huge thanks for excellent service.
Leonard M — Google review
I have mixed feelings about this place. While I did enjoy my stay overall, the photos on the travel website looked NOTHING like the reality. I booked the room expecting a clawfoot tub, but when we arrived there was only a shower. To be fair, the hotel’s water pressure was excellent and I did enjoy the shower, but I feel the listing should reflect reality more accurately, At the very least, it shouldn’t show amenities that may not actually be available. That said, the service was excellent, and the hotel has a lovely garden that added charm to the stay. The breakfast was acceptably good.
H S — Google review
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t speak highly enough. The pictures on the website didn’t disappoint - the villa grounds were absolutely stunning. Service was top notch and the rooms were lovely. Oh, and the pool was amazing - perfect way to spend the afternoon after a busy day in Aix. I’d give this hotel more than 5 stars if I could!
Adam R — Google review
Lovely property, highly maintained. Huge pool and patio for lounging. Very kind & helpful staff. Our Prestige room was a very nice size with a king bed, plenty of room for a supplementary bed if necessary. Large bathroom and shower.
Mburked26 — Google review
The front desk staff really gave it their all - but even they can’t magically 🪄 enlarge a shoebox. We ended up in what felt like an elegant dorm room by the pool. Stylish? Sure. Spacious? Only if you’re under 5’6” 🤏 and traveling solo. Two people? Good luck 🍀 As for the pool 🏊 staff - mostly a myth. And the one time he did appear, it was to scold us for daring to adjust a sun lounger. Honestly, if I were the lone guy stuck managing sunburned tourists all day, I’d probably hide 🫣 inside too.

My mum and I enjoyed a truly exceptional all-inclusive facial massage experience with Audrey. From start to finish, it was deeply relaxing and grounding—a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with myself. Audrey’s skill, presence, and gentle energy created a space of pure calm and care. I wholeheartedly recommend her—she’s not only highly skilled, but genuinely gifted in what she does.

(Translated by Google) Exceptional setting, very warm welcome from all the staff I was offered a 50-minute massage with an additional 2-hour spa access. The jacuzzi had a technical problem, we were given access to the swimming pool as compensation, with this heat it was a very good compromise. Massage performed by Camille, very gentle and very pleasant and extremely competent. A wonderful moment for me. I will return with great pleasure to this establishment and I highly recommend it. Villa Gallici, with its Florentine scent and 18th century details, offered us a moment of softness under the delicate flight of the doves on the blue ceiling. Excellent meal, and more than special mention for Audrey who gave us absolute well-being by massaging us and creating a bubble of happiness. See you soon ! Resort hotel
Hôtel Aquabella & Spa Aix en Provence is a relaxed and charming hotel located in the heart of the Thermes district. The hotel offers comfortable deluxe rooms, an upscale restaurant serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and a bar for unwinding after exploring the city. The real highlight is its spa, featuring a Finnish sauna, two hammams, a whirlpool, and an outdoor heated swimming pool. Guests can also enjoy various massage treatments inspired by different cultural themes.
This hotel/spa/restaurant is delightful. This is my first trip abroad and this place did not disappoint. It's located within walking distance of everything you need in Aix, or for a bus to somewhere else. The spa was absolutely amazing and the jacuzzi was welcome after a long day of exploring. I was extremely impressed with the restaurant, too. The food was perfection! Highly recommend if you're in Aix-en-Provence!
Christine H — Google review
We stayed in the suite. It was clean. The room was very clean, the bathroom looked like a spa and the customer service was very accommodating. The pool was relaxing with a bar. The evening bartender knew our drink of choice on day 2. Highly recommend this place.
Beth A — Google review
I was excited to stay at Aquabella for my first trip to Provence, expecting a charming boutique hotel surrounded by nature. Instead, it’s located in the old town, which felt a bit run-down. The staff were lovely and very helpful, but the hotel itself was disappointing—the room was small, dated, and had a moldy smell. Breakfast was included, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t very inviting. Great service, but the hotel didn’t match the photos or the vibe I was hoping for.
Tal O — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were lovely and the staff was very friendly and professional. They helped me out quite a bit with taxis to and from hard to get to places. I was too busy to use any of the pool, spa, workout, or dining facilities but those all looked very extensive and inviting as well.
Jennifer S — Google review
I stayed here on my honeymoon, overall we had a very lovely stay. We did not eat at the restaurant but enjoyed the bar selections. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms spacious. Ultimately, we selected this hotel to take advantage of the attached spa and partnership benefits. After check in we went to the spa to schedule a massage, they did not have any more availability that day so they suggested we make an appointment for the following the day. Which we did. The massage was wonderful! However, at check out we were told they would not apply the advertised discount of being a hotel resident because the massage was not the same day as the day we booked it. This was a complete surprise as no one - not the 2 people at the spa or the check in staff we asked told us this detail. We were very disappointed to be leaving on such a note after a great stay. I am mostly leaving this comment so anyone else who decides to stay at this hotel, for this reason, is not tricked out of their discount and can go in with all the information.
Trudy W — Google review
Unfortunately, this hotel has seen better days. The staff was fantastic and so kind and this review in no way reflects them, but the hotel itself was not up to par. My room was covered in dust and more than likely dust mites in the bedding, triggering an allergic reaction. As soon as I turned on the light, visible dust was seen over the counters and remote. I woke up with hives every morning due to this. I also killed multiple spiders in the room. The shower was poorly constructed and would flood water onto the floor. The rooms are in need of a major upgrade. The hotel itself is in a great location and the pool with drink service was a great touch. However, I would not recommend this hotel especially if you have allergies. Also a 500 euro deposit is insane.
Ericca C — Google review
Very much enjoyed our stay here. Lovely peaceful hotel, perfectly situated, enjoyed the pool and the spa facilities, nice spacious and comfortable rooms. Very much as advertised. Not a single complaint and very happy to recommend.
Mr J — Google review
Just inside the old town, but so much property space available due to its location on the perimeter. Nice to be out of the hub bub, as needed, but within walking distance of entire old town. Magnificent suite of rooms on corner (Jardine de Provence AKA 503) overlooks to the north the pool and ancient city wall tower, at a distance, incorporated into the hotel property. Fabulous view of Cathedral of the Saviour to east. Spacious: even the bathroom felt larger than our 1 room rental in Paris. Excellent service at front desk and bars. We did not avail ourselves of the spa. Parking is very close to the property. Worth the splurge in price to visit this charming AIX-EN-PROVENCE.

Lovely, well maintained hotel, beautifully finished with stylish decor. Well appointed rooms . We had a great stay and enjoyed the restaurant & pool. We walked to all the sites and close to the train station too.

Nice hotel, good location. Liked the pool area which was quite calm and clean. Rooms were not very big, but clean and tidy. The only downside were the extremely long cues at reception.

We really enjoyed the Grand Hôtel Roi René Aix-en-Provence. The location was great. It was a short walk to the main city strip. The on site parking garage was great too. Book the parking early because they fill up. The staff was amazing in every way!

I had the chance to spend a few days at the Grand Hôtel Roi René. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality! Special thanks to the Front Office Manager, Thibaut. He did everything effortlessly and came across as very genuine. It's a natural talent. He made my stay memorable. I am 100% sure that I will come back, and that's thanks to you and your team. Thank you again.

The hotel is great, nice rooms and lobby area. Breakfast was quite good, some waiting though, especially when it was full. The pool is a nice and appreciated add in the summer. Easy walk to the old town.

Truly one of the better experiences I’ve had at a hotel here in France. Everyone has been so incredibly kind and helpful. Lenny at the restaurant was exceptionally kind and offered incredible service. We will absolutely be back!

This hotel has everything you could possibly need in a guestroom and hotel property, and everything works! Air conditioning, bathrobe and slippers, Nespresso machine, and a quiet pool area and restaurant. My only disappointment was that my guestroom had one small window while the photos on the website of the Classic Room show a lovely floor to ceiling window. Next time I will ask not to be placed on the third floor.

Nestled in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, the Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel is a luxurious 5-star retreat catering to both business and leisure travelers. Guests can indulge in the hotel's refined dining options at Atmosph'R restaurant, l'Avant Scene lounge bar, and the seasonal Palm's Pool Club.
We had a great stay at this hotel! The service was excellent, and the pool was a highlight perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the town center, and valet parking made things very easy. The gym is quite basic, and the restaurants were not open for seating during our stay only for breakfast and dinner, although food was available at all times. Overall, a very comfortable hotel with friendly service very recommended!!
Ivan W — Google review
We had a delightful stay with our kiddo. Very helpful and friendly staff. Super accessible to the downtown pedestrian area. Nice pool and gym! Tricky vehicle entrance but otherwise fantastic.
Kiel B — Google review
It's about a 5 or 10 minutes walk to the touristic center of town (the fountain). The air conditioning didn't get as cold as we would have liked. The breakfasts were great, especially the sauteed local mushrooms which were excellent. Dinner wasn't that special. The concierge was very helpful and all staff very friendly and welcoming.
Gale — Google review
The hotel is in a great location you'll find excellent restaurants and shops nearby. There's also a big open market several days every week in the summer on the main drag in town. The hotel staff are great and there's a very nice pool that was renovated a few years ago. Prices for drinks and food at the hotel are ridiculously high so I recommend walking just a few minutes away. I do recommend the hotel, however.
Todd S — Google review
I had a very good stay overall. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, with large modern bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The pool was a nice extra, and the location is excellent – just a short walk to the center, with easy parking. Service was outstanding, especially the valet, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. On the downside, the breakfast buffet was a little weak for a Bonvoy five-star property. I missed a bit of variety and small specials like Eggs Benedict or pancakes. The gym was unfortunately far below standard, offering only a few cardio machines and very light weights. As a Platinum member, I was also disappointed that even with an upgrade voucher, no real upgrade was available. Overall, however, I’d be more than happy to return if I’m in the area again.
Danny — Google review
I walked two steps into the hallway with the fake cobblestone carpet and I knew I had been duped. 5 stars?? Not a chance. Went into the room, there was old take away rice stuck to the bench, balcony had chicken wire all around. Thankfully I had booked directly and they refunded me and I went to stay at an actual 5 star property. That was not before the manager yelled at me to tell me what wasn’t “5 star” about the property.
Stacey H — Google review
Catherine made our stay so memorable with her warm welcome, a wonderful note, and a scrumptious snack upon arrival. Marriott properties provide such great amenities and a consistently high standard of service. Thank you!
Jane P — Google review
We had a great stay in this hotel for two nights. The staff was very friendly at the arrival and helped us to rebook. The pool area was ok, and a little disapointing. The tables where not clean and with leftovers from the day before, the wather in the pool was not very clean either and nobody showered before entering the wather….The music was terrible and to loud. At the pool there should be calm and relaxing background music, especially in the morning. The people working in the pool area should also be a little more observant and less chatting and hanging in the bar when there are hotell guests waiting for help to get towels…. I will not grade this as a give star hotell based on otter five stars I’ve been to.

Le Mas D'entremont is a charming hilltop hotel offering quaint rooms with Wi-Fi and private terraces, providing incredible views of Aix. The authentic decor perfectly complements the French countryside setting, making it an ideal escape from city life. The hotel features an outdoor pool, tennis courts, a fitness center, and a bar.
My wife and I loved this place. Rooms are charming and typically Provence. The rooms are cottage style, not modern style. We had a birthday party of 30 people, buffet style in lovely Provence surroundings. The staff and management did us proud.

Very frustrating experience with regards to the service quality at the restaurant. We have booked at hotel restaurant a month ago but when we got there, we understood we have a seat by the pool and it is just a snack menu. We asked a table in the main restaurant but we have been refused although there were lots of empty seats. They need some flexibility. We had a bad quality food, very limited choice and inflexible waiters in our minds now. It is a pity. The design of the rooms and external areas are amazing. Unfortunately people change your experience…
Ece E — Google review
We stayed here one night as we did a little road trip through the south of France. The hotel itself is rustic and charming and from what the front desk shared, has been within the family for generations. We had a wonderful stay here. The grounds were beautiful and looked perfect for an intimate wedding or such. The front desk staff was so welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of and we appreciated their kindness very much. I would recommend and would come back again!

We stayed here for 2 nights in September and it was wonderful. It was a very quiet time to be there which made it perfectly relaxing. The building and grounds are spectacular. The restaurant is out of this world. It was the best French meal I had ever had, having spent a lot of time in France. The food and wine, as well we the general dining experience in the courtyard, is unbelievable. The second night we just did wine and cheeseboard, which is incredible. Very nice pool area and although the gym was small, we were the only people there so it was fine. Gym enthusiasts may be disappointed. Our room was very nice, and tastefully decorated, with a private terrace overlooking the pool area. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to people looking for a relaxing, traditional French hotel (semi-Chateau style) with excellent food.

A beautiful rustic hotel and restaurant a few minutes north of the town of Aix-en-Provence. We stayed her for five nights and couldn’t recommend it more. The grounds are gorgeous…we really felt like we were in the countryside…there’s a fountain with loads of flowers, tennis courts, a huge pool and pétanque. We stayed in chambre 32 and it was soooo beautiful with a modern gorgeous bathroom and no lack of hot water…both a shower a tub and two sinks. Bathrobes and slippers were provided also…the room was impeccably serviced every day. There’s also a small table and lounge chairs outside the room on a patio surrounded by flowers and trees to enjoy breakfast or wine. We learned that this hotel property is a family run business for generations…one of the owners, Pierre, helped us secure a last minute wine tour when ours fell through at literally the last second and it was perfect. We enjoyed the amazing pool and had two fantastic meals in the restaurant. The reception women, (Aabia sp?) and another young lady were both super helpful and extremely friendly. The servers in the restaurant made us feel at home with our broken French…helping us order and chose wine. Hopefully we will be back soon.

As a member of a tour group, we had dinner one evening at this restaurant. My wife and I ordered a bottle of Rose. The waiter duly uncorked the bottle and served the wine. A little later we noticed the table cloth was very wet and could see that the wine bottle had been badly chipped near the bottom and it had leaked over the table. We raised this with the waiter who asked if we wanted another bottle and we said yes. No replacement bottle was supplied and on leaving we were charged the full amount for the broken bottle. As we were with other tour members we didn't want to spoil their evening by complaining. I suggest that if you decide to eat here, just check the wine bottles for damage, as the sommeliers clearly don't! We won't be going back!

We stayed here for two nights. We chose this hotel because it had free parking and was also dog friendly (albeit with a fee supplement). The hotel is outside the city (10 mins by car). It's in a beautiful setting and has a rustic feel to it, however it does feel a bit run down and not so looked after. The breakfast is quite poor for its cost, there was hardly any choice and wouldn't recommend it. We asked for fried eggs, similar to a customer being served and they brought us what looked like mashed fried eggs. No one had even suggested that ordering breakfast items was a possibility. We discovered by chance! There was no hot water for tea and had to ask twice for it. By that time we'd almost finished breakfast. There was no English breakfast tea, just Darjeeling and some other flavoured black tea which isn't quite the same. The restaurant for dinner wasn't anything special either despite its high cost. We were told that it was constantly fully booked, but didn't feel like it was fully booked at all. We asked for butter twice and both times we were ignored despite both times being acknowledged and being said yes. The gym is terrible, all the equipment is broken. The only thing working in there is the treadmill. There's a nice tennis court, however and we were kindly given rackets and balls to play with. Unfortunately if I was to ever return back in Aix we wouldn't stay here again.

The room was quaint and well insulated which was great since we have a small baby. We had supper at the restaurant and it was delicious. I'm vegan and they made a very nice three course meal. The breakfast buffet was also very good the next morning with a few vegan options.

Best Western Le Galice Aix Centre-Ville is a relaxed hotel offering terrace dining, a bar, and a seasonal outdoor pool with cathedral views. Situated just 1.06km from the city center of Aix-en-Provence, this pet-friendly 4-star hotel provides modern and comfortable rooms.
Very happy with the hotel. We had a very good experience with Mario, the bartender, who suggested customized cocktails not on their menu based on our desired tastes. They were very good. He was also very friendly.

I stayed at Le Galice during the Aix en Provence festival in July and was warmly welcomed by Olga and Agnieszka and other staff whose names I did not get. The hotel was clean quiet and I had a pleasant stay. The only thing was the location, it was not that far from the center but as the sun was hot, the walk to and fro was not my favourite part..

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had — I strongly recommend avoiding this place, especially for solo female travelers. From the moment I arrived, the overall atmosphere felt off. The hallway near the lobby had a persistent musty and unpleasant smell, giving the impression that the place is poorly maintained. It wasn’t just a passing odor — it lingered every time I passed through, which made me question the hotel’s cleanliness and ventilation system. The front desk staff were unwelcoming and even rude at times. When I asked about basic things like breakfast hours or luggage storage, their responses were short and unfriendly. Worse, one staff member made a comment that felt racially charged — it was subtle, but uncomfortable enough to leave a lasting impression. This type of attitude is absolutely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. I had booked a stay with breakfast included, yet they insisted it wasn’t part of my reservation and charged me extra. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they refused to correct it and told me to take it up with the booking website — showing zero willingness to help or resolve the issue. The room itself had serious issues. The bathroom smelled of sewage, which never went away no matter how much I aired the room out. The furnishings were old and not well maintained, adding to the overall sense of discomfort. To make things worse, the area around the hotel felt very unsafe. I saw several groups of men loitering around the entrance late at night, and I was warned by locals that muggings and pickpocketing are common in this neighborhood. I genuinely didn’t feel safe walking alone, and I would especially advise female travelers to stay elsewhere. This is not a location where you can relax and enjoy your trip with peace of mind. On top of all this, the hotel also overcharged us for city tax — they demanded payment for more people than were actually staying, and refused to adjust it even after we pointed it out. This felt dishonest and completely unprofessional. I travel often and usually give places the benefit of the doubt, but this hotel was one problem after another. There are plenty of better, safer, and more respectful options available — I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Very bad hotel chain. The front desk staff is so amateur and infuriating. When I checked out, they said my reservation did not include breakfast, but they charged me for breakfast. Later, I took out the reservation form and it showed that breakfast was included. After communicating with the front desk staff, they told me that it was their mistake. They told me that if I left my email and credit card, the money would be refunded to me. I have been waiting for almost a week and have not received the money. Are you robbers? Is this what the French are like? It's only 32 euros. I don't need the money, but I will keep complaining.
刘彦君 — Google review
I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. First of all, there's a strange and unpleasant smell in the corridor near the lobby that immediately gives a bad impression. The staff were extremely unhelpful and even made remarks that felt racially discriminatory. I had booked a room with breakfast included, but upon check-in, they claimed it was not included and charged me extra — a completely dishonest practice. The room itself had a persistent foul odor coming from the bathroom, making the stay even more uncomfortable. Moreover, the area around the hotel doesn’t feel safe; I saw several pickpockets nearby. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had, and I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel in Mid-June. The room was spacious and very clean, the A/C was great, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor pool. Staff were lovely and very helpful, especially Jade at the front desk.

I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Le Galice during my stay there May 15-18, 2025. The hotel was great and centrally located. I was with a tour group, and while there I had the pleasure to meet Agnieszka (Aga) and Olga who provided me with outstanding and friendly service throughout my stay. Thank you both for your kind hospitality and for making sure my trip was so enjoyable, I had a great time while there and I really appreciate all that you do. In addition, the breakfast served was amazing, fresh and delicious. Thank you to Aga and Olga for providing excellence and your hotel kitchen staff for all their hard work. My stay was memorable, I love Aix-en-Provence and plan on returning. Thank you very much ! Warm regards, Julie

Beds are comfortable. Pool is OK for size of hotel. Bar area is pleasant. Bedrooms are a basic box, almost bare of any relief. Location is the main problem. The hotel is part of a larger commercial and office property. It is surrounded by car dealerships, and the front faces a massive car park. There is not a single bar or cafe nearby. The nearest part of the town centre is the Rotonde, which is a good 15 minute walk away, along busy and unpleasant 4 lane roads. In 30 C heat, doing this four times per day is an ordeal. BTW, the view of Mont St Victoire is only from one side of the 4th floor, not as advertised.

Nestled in an olive grove, Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire Hotel & Spa is a luxurious retreat that combines the charm of a country manor with contemporary villa living. The 18th-century building has been transformed into a sophisticated hotel featuring elegant rooms, two pools, and a sleek spa offering exotic rituals and personalized treatments.
Incredible hotel! We loved our stay. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms are modern with everything working perfectly. The spa is very nice with a small hammam and sauna and a relatively large indoor pool. The outdoor pool is heated and also quite large with superb views on the countryside. The service was very attentive and friendly, maybe a bit slow at dinner but we didn’t mind as we were happy to take our time. The location of the hotel is ideal with an incredible view on St Victoire and great access to walks in the mountains. It is also 30min from Marseille airport which is very convenient. All in all, we loved our stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire is a beautiful retreat nestled in stunning natural surroundings. The location is idyllic, offering breathtaking views of Mont Sainte-Victoire, and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the gardens add to the tranquil ambiance. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with thoughtful details that enhance the overall experience. The on-site spa and pool are fantastic features that allow guests to unwind in luxury. The restaurant serves high-quality meals with locally inspired flavors, but the service could be slightly more attentive during busy hours. Similarly, while most staff were friendly and helpful, there were moments where the level of service didn’t fully match the hotel’s luxurious reputation. Overall, Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire offers a memorable experience, blending nature, elegance, and relaxation. It’s an excellent choice for a serene vacation, with just a few areas for improvement to reach perfection.

Well that was a real 60th birthday experience…… We had looked forward to this for a long time…….decided to spoil ourselves and sample the best. How we got it wrong The hotel claims 5 stars, but sadly it fell a long way short. Future visitors beware On arrival we were showed to our ‘deluxe balcony suite’ on the first floor - except that it wasn’t deluxe didn’t have a balcony and wasn’t on the first floor. Suite C9 is clearly the place they put people who really dont care, it’s dark, dismal and overlooked by the ground floor side passage with no views of anything. So as you’d expect we complained, showed the team our confirmation email that clearly acknowledged we had secured a 1st floor balcony suite - but to no avail. As you guessed, they had given it to someone else. They apologised - but could do nothing (so they said)! So guess what - we ended up downgrading to a standard room, such a great start, high hopes dashed, and they knew it was my 60th birthday. Don’t get me wrong the location is spectacular and parts of the hotel get close to being 5 stars, but the AC in our room never got lower than 22 degress, the food in the restaurant (and pool area) was only average and for non meat eaters quite poor, and the wine list was very limited, and it’s in Provence for goodness sake. On the positive side, most of the staff were keen to help, but it’s clear that they struggle badly at times. The concierge found us a great restaurant 15 minutes away that became our regular go-to, breakfast was ok and the outside setting made it special, but this place has a lot of work to do to claim five stars. Oh, we still haven’t got our refund as apparently it’s policy to not refund the money (we already paid weeks ago) until you check out, I have a feeling that will be another stress inducing experience as well. If you were looking to be indulged, feel special and enjoy a hassle free time - go elsewhere.

We stayed straight after our wedding and it was the most perfect weather and setting. We couldn’t have asked for anymore! We had a lovely room with a balcony, it was spacious clean and modern. The staff are really great (Luca and Benjamin were very professional and super helpful!) and always on hand to help in any way. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and thoroughly enjoyed every course. We also ate at a relatively new restaurant 5 min drive away called Monsieur Louis Le Tholonet and the atmosphere/service was fantastic so also recommend! If you’re looking for a luxury spa getaway in the stunning Provence setting, I would highly recommend.

Les Lodges de Sainte-Victoire is truly a beautiful place with stunning rooms and an incredible location – it's a picturesque setting for a getaway. The staff are incredibly helpful and very nice, always going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We found the food at breakfast to be of high quality, and the main restaurant, despite a somewhat limited choice, also serves very good food. However, there are areas for improvement in the price point. As a family with young children, we found some significant limitations. There were absolutely no food options for young children on the snacking menu, which was quite inconvenient. The main, high-end restaurant is unsuitable for kids and only offers a very limited children's menu for €26 per child. While they mentioned room service was an option, feeding two children in your room would cost over €60, including a delivery charge, which is not what one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. If you stay for 4 or 5 days, you're unlikely to eat at the main restaurant more than twice due to the limited choice and unsuitability for kids. Staff Training & Value While the staff are dedicated and willing to help, it sometimes felt like some could benefit from more comprehensive training. In a boutique hotel where staff often wear many hats, a deeper understanding of various aspects of the operation is crucial. We noticed instances where staff seemed unaware of certain things they should know, which, while not their fault, points to a potential gap in management's training delivery. When you're paying such a high-end luxury price, you expect a consistently polished and knowledgeable service. The management should definitely consider improving this aspect to justify the rates. Ultimately, Les Lodges de Sainte-Victoire is ideal for a short break for adults looking for a beautiful and relaxing escape. However, it is less suited for those travelling with young children due to the very limited and expensive dining options for them, and at its current price point, some enhancements in staff training would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

Busy hotel, on the edge of town next to busy roads. Room was very hot, turning down the heat didn't make a difference. Opening the window was possible but unfeasible due to the traffic outside.

What we liked: Modern interior, spacious enough rooms, friendly reception, great and friendly cleaning team, good underground car parking, communal play area beside the restaurant. Quick access to the motorway and a 5min drive into town. What could have been better: No air-condition mid April led to our room being significantly too warm, opening windows was no option as it was too noisy. Breakfast was cleared away too early most days and food choices were limited.

AC in June didn't work. Mold growing all over the shower. We had two rooms and they both had the same problems. We changed rooms for the AC and it was the same. Obviously they're not investing in maintenance. NOT what I expect from a Radisson brand. This is not even close to being a 4 star level hotel.

Hotel is in a great location and close to centre ville. However, is good if you have a car as in the heat of summer it's a hard walk. 2 staff, Esteban and Ozan were wonderful at making us feel welcome. They were helpful and great guys. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Has a small fridge too. The pool is great with lots of outdoor seating. The bar is well stocked, and the games/relaxing area is great too.
D W — Google review
The hotel itself is nice and new. The room, for French standards, is big and open but our room (208?) unfortunately had a bad smell of sewage from the bathroom. We did say it to reception and they were very nice. First they offered to go and spray air freshener as they had no other rooms. While we were out they did this and must have realised the smell was bad and we weren't being complainers. When we came back the girl called us over and said they had another room but it was an accessible room so we decided no. We were only there one night and when the aircon was on/window was open, it did get better. If we were staying longer it would be an issue though. Also be careful with the paper cups, I used one for a cup of tea and the water came right out the bottom as there was a leak. Thankfully it was down on the table but that's seriously dangerous with boiling water. I'm giving it a 3 mainly for location but also because of the room issue. I've never been to Aix so I didn't know this was so far from the centre of the town and it's not a picturesque walk. It's lovely but just a bit far.

The only good things about this hotel are the bed and the bathroom. You pay for a hotel, yet you have to take out the trash yourself without any replacement bags. The used dishes are not only needing to be washed but also neatly arranged. The cleaning crew comes only once a week and only changes the towels, not even sweeping the floor (there isn’t even a broom available to do it yourself, they should mention to bring your own). The internet is terrible, sometimes working, sometimes not. The air conditioning doesn’t work; when I reported it, I was told it’s still too cold and will be fixed by Thursday. It didn’t work from Thursday; it was 28 degrees. The breakfast is very poor, just a few toasts, slices of cold cuts, and stale rolls slightly warmed up. I do not recommend it.
Andrzej S — Google review
I stayed for 6 nights and not once was the room cleaned. No housekeeping. No change of towels. Nothing. Completely unacceptable. When I arrived, the mattress and duvets were stained with blood — yes, actual blood. Disgusting and beyond appalling. On top of that, there was no toilet paper in the room. You have to go to reception and ask for it yourself, like you’re in some budget hostel. The hotel is isolated, far from Aix-en-Provence city center, and there’s absolutely nothing nearby within walking distance. If you don’t have a car and it’s hot (which it usually is in this area), good luck doing anything. To make matters worse, reception closes early, so if you have any kind of emergency or need support after 7 PM, you’re completely on your own. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me. Total nightmare
Yazmin D — Google review
You get what you pay for. Right next to the highway. Private and secure parking, friendly staff in a hotel block, which is also occupied by a lot of semi-permanent tenants. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom due to poor ventilation was the only unpleasant issue, we faced. We were happy with what we got, for the price we paid. Wouldn't stay here for more than a night, however.

Very cute hotel. Not far from town, but feels secluded because it's on a hill in the woods. It has a nice looking main building and a couple of bungalows next to it. The gravel parking lot is on the lowest tier, then comes a little play area on the next tier. On the highest tier is a pool and restaurant. All of which is small and charming. Stayed in one of the bungalows, which are one big room and a bathroom with shower. The continental breakfast was good and the atmosphere in the rustic restaurant very nice.

We spent one night here after a vacation in the area, the hotel is literally the worst hotel I've been to. If this is three stars it must be some old stars.. the whole place is run down and outdated. The pool is cloudy and uninviting, the restaurant and out door area is slapdash and filled with sun faded exercise bikes, broken light fixtures, discarded bikes, random privacy screens. The hotel itself is dirty, the rooms are ugly and outdated and the buildingd in themselves must hsve been designed by a blind one armed architect intern. In the room we stayed in, we had thin unsecure door with keyholes on both sides (fire escape hasard), that was so thin you could hear everything happening outside. The room was dirty, with three large cobwebs in the ceiling, mismatched color warmth on the three dirty light fixtures, dirty cups and spoons for "our convenience", and a permanent smell of sweat in the room. Nothing here felt clean. The bathroom had pipes that left an interesting odour of the room. We suffered our stay because it was only one night on the way towards the airport, but I would not stay here again. I've been to derelict roadside motels with higher standards. The staff was friendly.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and great hospitality.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ We stayed at this hotel for three nights and overall had a great experience. The grounds are beautifully maintained — clean, lush, and truly inviting. It’s clear the hotel takes pride in its appearance and ambiance. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable queen-sized bed and perfectly functioning air-conditioning, which was appreciated during the warm days. We requested a fan for white noise while sleeping, and the staff brought one up very promptly — excellent service. While we didn’t dine at the restaurant, we did try the homemade ice cream by the chef, which was fantastic. That said, for a hotel of this caliber and price point, I feel a small gesture like offering one scoop per guest per day would go a long way. It’s not about the cost — just the gesture. Charging for it felt a bit off-brand for a five-star property. The hotel recently celebrated its 100th anniversary, and the renovations they’ve done are tasteful and elevate the whole experience while keeping the charm of the original property. The gym is quite small — really only comfortable for one or two people at a time — but if you go during a quiet period, you can still get a decent workout in. As for the location, it was ideal for us. A peaceful and private setting, yet only about a 20–25 minute walk to town, which made everything easily accessible without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel. A few small tweaks would elevate the experience even more, but it’s a lovely place to stay and well worth a visit.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and it was absolutely beautiful. The service was impeccable- especially by the pool given the server had to keep going back to the hotel to get our drinks. The gardens were breathtaking. As it was our honeymoon, the hotel had a bottle of champagne as a gift in our room which was a wonderful gesture. We enjoyed a before dinner drink in the lobby bar. The best part of our trip was the dinner we had at the hotel- I cannot recommend the restaurant enough! A short walk to the center of town, this was such a relaxing part of our stay.

The management and staff were first class. It would be nice to see the pool side bar be expanded in its service. The garden is exquisitely maintained. We had a lovely time, as always, staying at Le Pigonnet. Our every need was met with professionalism and attention to detail. Thank you.

I hate leaving a bad review for such a beautiful hotel, however, we tried to stay here for our honeymoon, and sadly had to leave for several reasons and cancel our stay. Upon arrival, we were not warned that the air conditioning was broken on our side of the building. My husband got sick and we had to spend the night in a room with no A/C while he was sick. Then we tried to shower but were met with no refilled shampoo or body wash. We also ordered room service for my husband and they never came to pick it up, even after calling to let them know we were done. I’m sorry to be leaving this review, but I would not rate this hotel 5 stars. We found a hotel about 20 mins away that we loved instead.
Annamarie M — Google review
Beautiful hotel with a beautiful pool and garden. Unfortunately, we found the service both at the pool and in the restaurant to be inexperienced and inattentive. For us a no go at a 5 star hotel that charges 22 € for a Prosecco or 25 € for a Corsican sausage. There is definitely room for improvement here. We wouldn’t go here for another stay under this conditions. Value for money is definitely not worth it.
Marc K — Google review
Went for an event- music in the gardens, it was raining so understandably wasn’t able to be in the gardens. However, the vibe wasn’t great , we were sat at a table where we couldn’t even see the musicians. Was a ticketed event that we paid a decent amount of money for and just ended up having a drink and leaving. It wasn’t terrible, just not a lot of effort was made to make the event still nice despite the weather.
Jackie K — Google review
Dated and dirty. Gardens dry and not maintained at all - it’s worse than a homeless dump. No amenities. Some kind of parody for luxury small hotels. Unsure how they earned membership in the chain….. we were checked in to the room we did not book for unknown reasons. Do not recommend staying here.

Aux Petits Oignons is a cozy spot that takes pride in crafting gourmet hot dogs with authentic Alsace Knack sausages, and even offers a vegetarian option. What sets their hot dogs apart is the use of homemade buns baked fresh every morning on site, paired with a selection of top-notch French cheeses. Additionally, they serve gluten-free options such as veggie hot dogs, cheese fries, and pastries.
Best hotdog ever! Creative in flavour and the taste blend in nicely. I enjoy the Brooklyn (avocado) so much that I even came back (which is not easy to make a picky eater like me to come back). The fries are homemade, very fresh. The owner is a couple (I guess) and the lady is super nice and speak English well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hot Dog and (Blue)Cheese Fries! Just landed from NY NY, and I can honestly say, this is the best hot dog I've ever had. Forget Nathan's - if you want to have an otherworldly summer American food experience, in the heart of Provence, carve out time, and come hungry.

This is a really fab little eatery, friendly and fun. Such a bonus for gluten free too. Great hot dogs! Thank you!

Had a wonderful meal here on our last night in Aix. I know it may seem simple, just hot dogs & fries, but everything is made with local ingredients and is really delicious! The homemade onions are the star of the show! So good. And the couple running the restaurant are so sweet. You can make a reservation by SMS, which we did, but others walked up just fine. But a few people were turned away when the small amount of tables were full. Really cute atmosphere and just a great local meal!

It Is an aged couple who owns this little beautiful space, are very humble and sweet. the hospitality reflects in the smile over your face from first bite. Having large variety of dog combinations, even dog in vegan too tastes so delicious. Worth giving a try! taste and ambience justifies the price... Quite €conomic !

Le Pain Quotidien is a popular European bakery/cafe chain with numerous locations in the U.S. The name translates to 'the daily bread,' reflecting its focus on classic light fare and organic breads. In Aix-en-Provence, it's located in Place Richelme, near the daily market. Due to its popularity, there are often long queues for seats, so it's advisable to put your name down and explore the nearby market while waiting for a table.
Love the vibe of the outside searing area with the local market from local producers. Summer may be too hot for brunch dinners. Great option for breakfast outside of a hotel nearby. It's got a very nice butter croissant. The bacon that comes with the scrambled egg is a little tough.

Do these 2 pictures look the same for you? The nice one is what we order and the second one is what they bring. Guys, 3 berries? Really? You must have gotten emotional about your own generosity, huh?
Dmitrii K — Google review
What you see in the pictures is the gardener’s croque. It is vegetarian and one of my go to dishes at ‘le pain quotidien’. The dish is quite balanced with carbs and vegetables. The salad was served fresh. It would be better if some vegetarian or vegan protein were added to the dish to make it a complete balanced meal. I had ordered a pot of Jasmine tea to go with the meal. The avocado toast is scrumptious too! Please do try it.

The gluten free bread was so bad, so bitter that I couldn’t finish my meal as the taste lingered. Otherwise I always liked pain Q especially their gluten free in other countries. Best to eat good French bread and forget about gluten free

Ordered an Americano (€2.95) with milk. They told me that “doesn’t exist” and then charged €4.95 for the worst machine coffee I’ve ever had. When I said I felt extorted, the manager, in a raised, aggressive voice, told me not to use that language with him. Completely ripped off and spoken down to. Avoid this place at all costs.

We visited their Paris branch and had a wonderful time there but we were a bit disappointed with the food and the ambiance. The serving size, to our surprise, was noticeably less generous than was in Paris store. The serving plate was a bit smudgy. Though it was understandably beyond servers’ control, certain diners talked loudly while we were in there.

Listen people! You can check how many coffee shops I reviewed in my history as a Google maps user, now this was actually the BEST coffee I have ever drank!!!! (Capuchino). I'm so lucky to come here just for that. Besides that, food is also delicious and great as the service bravo!

We come for having lunch, i got a salad and bread with egg (most expensive on salty menu) but it seems that the salad is not well clean, a lot of dust when eating and unable to finish the dish. Their dishes have a lot of different salad options,be careful because it may not edible.

This is an amazing cafe. While we stayed in Aix, we had brunch there every day. There were many foods to choose from, as well as drinks (try the black latte, it's absolutely amazing). Château de Fonscolombe is a grand hotel located in a restored 18th-century castle surrounded by a park with ancient trees. As a member of Relais & Chateaux, it offers a welcoming atmosphere akin to that of a family home, featuring historic lounges, reading rooms, game salons, and art galleries. The rooms are adorned with abundant natural light and luxurious materials such as intricate woodwork, rare fabrics, and marble and wood bathrooms.
My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversy. Overall the experience was outstanding, from the moment we arrived until we left we had an amazing time. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are well decorated and comfortable, the dinner at l’Orangerie was incredible and the breakfast was well prepared. What really made our stay special was the staff. I had made a note in our reservation about our wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to make our celebration a memorable one. We plan to return in the future.
Heather J — Google review
Dinner wasn’t great and the breakfast was so basic I taught I was in a Francise hotel. All the staff are not on the same page and we kept telling us different stories. We checked in late but the receptionist said we had time to make it for dinner. Another member said we cannot. We did make it in time and then had to wait over an hour. There was about 5 other tables, who already had food. Same with breakfast. Asked about eggs and they are supplemented (extra for fried) Another told us we can order and they’ll cook. Like how do you get this basic stuff wrong. 50% of the time. Bad training. I good management accountable. Grounds are beautiful and place itself is amazing. Also a suggestion is to have a fridge for the room. You have these in standard hotels but not in a chateaux that’s 1k a night that’s absurd. Most people enjoy cold drinks. Easy stuff here

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Staff was amazing: kind, helpful and always one step ahead of you to provide the best experience. The breakfast was delicious with mostly locally sourced foods. The hotels pledge to sustainability is visible in all aspects. Would 100% come back.

I had the amazing chance and opportunity to stay there a few days a few weeks ago and it was absolutely charming I spent one of the most wonderful weekend of my life All the employees were really careful, looking for any detail, making sure that me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay. The location is absolutely insane, and the food is delicious. Can’t wait to come back for another stay !!!
Charles G — Google review
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Château de Fonscolombe for a week, and words hardly do justice to the experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I had stepped into another world—one of elegance, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. The grounds are nothing short of breathtaking: sprawling, lush, and perfectly maintained, offering a sense of peace and escape that is hard to find anywhere else. Walking among the massive cedar trees, I was transported back in time to my homeland, a deeply moving and grounding experience that made this estate feel even more special. Whether strolling through the gardens or relaxing by the 24/7 pool, I was surrounded by beauty at every turn. The housekeeping team was flawless—my room felt pristine and refreshed every single day, a true testament to their dedication and attention to detail. But what truly set my stay apart was the incredible hospitality. Every staff member radiated warmth, professionalism, and a sincere desire to make my stay perfect. A special mention must go to Liticia, who went above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. She not only ensured that I was always comfortable but also personally helped me navigate stressful and costly rental car issues. Her care, foresight, and dedication quite literally saved me more than once—and I will be forever grateful for her kindness. Equally noteworthy was the classy touch of the manager personally reaching out to me, reinforcing that sense of being genuinely cared for and valued as a guest. The 25/7 concierge service (yes, they truly feel like they never sleep!) was an invaluable luxury, always ready to assist with any request—no matter the hour. Combined with the estate’s timeless charm, ancient cedars, and flawless amenities, it created the feeling of having everything I could possibly need at my fingertips. One note to the hotel: The food options are pricy and did not change during my stay, which I understand. But a rotating menu could help this for guests staying more than a week. The food was good, just over priced. In short, Château de Fonscolombe is far more than a five-star hotel—it’s an experience, a sanctuary, and a memory I will treasure forever. If you are fortunate enough to stay here, you will be treated not just as a guest, but as family.

Besides being a beautiful and enchanting hotel, the employees make the biggest impact. Everyone is kind, attentive and 100% commited to offer an amazing experience. The restaurants are excellent, service second to none. We will definetly go back!

I’m here to thank the Fonscolombe staff. Specifically, Loic (sorry for spelling!) Traveling with our one-year old Cruz is daunting. His sleep is unpredictable, he’s loud at dinner and he’s moving nonstop! The Fonscolombe staff loved every second of it and Loic made such a great effort to meet Cruz and make all of us comfortable. They had high chairs at dinner and a crib in the room with a bunch of goodies for him. The room had space for all of us and was quiet enough for him to nap and sleep at night. The highlight was our final dinner when the staff set us up a table under the tree away from everyone else so mom and dad could enjoy a nice, quiet dinner - the only one of our entire trip - while our little maniac Cruz played in the dirt. 10/5 stars Fonscolombe for families traveling with young kids. We will be back to Aix soon :)

A house with soul, where time stands still. This isn’t just a château, it’s a place where elegance, nature, and memory meet. The staff are kind and discreet, the rooms feel like they’ve always existed, and the goûter is simply unforgettable: chocolate mousse and île flottante just like your French grandmother might have made. The silence of the gardens, the timeless charm of the Pigeonnier… You come here to slow down, to breathe, to live fully

Pimp my Burger is a popular spot with friendly and helpful staff. The ordering process is easy, and the food is delivered promptly. The burgers are delicious, with well-textured beef and unique seasoning. Customers appreciate the great customer service and tasty fries. The atmosphere is cozy, despite some mentioning a slightly musty basement. Additional toppings come at an extra cost, but overall, it's a fantastic experience with affordable prices.
Did not know this restaurant until we looked for nice, fully customizable burgers. What a surprise when we were warmly welcomed by the staff. I ordered a 22€ 6-steaks burger with fried onions and cheddar : the meat was high quality and thick, compared to most fast food meat and onion were perfectly roasted I highly recommend this restaurant if you wanna eat a meal worth every penny, and leave with a full stomach.

Arrive at about 140pm, and I was prepared to rush for their 2pm closing. The lady at the cashier is really kind and helpful. She explained the procedure for ordering, and it wasn't hard as the ordering system is in English. Picked up the drinks at the counter, and food was delivered to the table. Really good burger, i like the bun that comes with it & how it enhanced the texture, beef texture was good however the marinate/spice is unusual/unique. I added tartar and extra spicy sauce they were both really tasty & actually spicy. Fries was fantastic too, crispy & fresh. Thanks to the kind staff for extending their closing time, allowing enough time for me to enjoy my meal properly. Merci!

From the moment I stepped into the shop, the staff were friendly and energetic. They spoke to me and were very sincere, even offering me a sample of a burger sauce that we joked about. The food was great as well, I’d liken it to 5 Guys burger quality (which is a compliment considering the price is a lot better than 5 Guys)

Went for a burger today a few minutes before their opening time (sorry!) and had some of the most amazing customer service I’ve ever experienced. Burgers were pretty good and fries were great. La Rotonde is a vibrant and trendy spot in Aix-en-Provence that perfectly captures the essence of this charming city. The café boasts an inviting atmosphere with elegant chandeliers and outdoor seating, making it ideal for enjoying Mediterranean cuisine crafted from fresh seasonal ingredients. Guests can indulge in delicious wood-fired pizzas while soaking up the ambiance of this bustling locale.
We ate here twice while in Aix. Both times the service was impeccable, they adjusted some menu items to accommodate for allergies / preferences and were so friendly. The food was lovely and the restaurant itself was beautiful. The second time we visited our waitress Darya was especially amazing. A nice brasserie in a very prominent location, serving dishes with high quality ingredients and with a comfortable interior. As such it is priced a bit premium, but the service is good and the food was well done. Hôtel Birdy by HappyCulture is a pet-friendly hotel that warmly welcomes furry companions of all sizes for a reasonable fee. The rooms are modern, well-decorated, and comfortable, offering complimentary amenities like unlimited mineral water and croissants. Additionally, the hotel provides dog baskets in the rooms to ensure the comfort of pets.
I spent a weekend at Hôtel Birdy by HappyCulture, and it was such a nice getaway! The hotel has a cool, modern vibe with a bit of a tropical twist. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The room I stayed in was spacious and really comfy, with a lovely balcony where I could just chill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee. The restaurant was a real treat too. The food was fresh and delicious, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The relaxed and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made it even better. I would love to return there in the summer, they have a pool you can lounge by, if you’re looking for a place to unwind. I’d definitely recommend Hôtel Birdy.

Mixed feelings about hotel birdy, overall the pool is quite nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The soaps (Nuxe) provided are amazing quality and the hotel is nicely decorated. This place is decent for a one night stay! I would like to point out that the hotel staff/service are super helpful and kind and made the hotel experience very nice and comforting. Especially the day time service, one lady at the night time service was not as helpful, but everybody else was great. My biggest points of complaints go to management, not service: - Someone at 8 am was drilling and hammering work upstairs above the rooms which is unacceptable on a saturday morning. (It was apparently an emergency but morning construction should still be avoided for future guests) - My pillow had a small stain - We booked the VIP experience, but it would have been better with more alcoholic beverages included as we only received one each. - Some of the displayed times are misleading. Example: the elevator poster says 8:30 pool closure when the hotel says 8.

Great Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights as a family. Room is spacious and the pool area is great - also lots of games indoors and outside. Staff is friendly and breakfast is great. We especially loved their Nutella machine! Small downside - the fridge in the room doesn't get really cold enough.

This is a wonderful hotel with positive vibes. It is a calm and rejuvenating hotel, and we left feeling well rested. There is a variety of drinks available in the lobby at all times and the staff are welcoming and responsive. The breakfast was great, and there was even a machine to grind your own Nutella. One staff member who stands out for being helpful was a smiley gentleman who was working during the afternoons. He helped our family have the best vacation possible. Un immense merci !

Room was very nice, but it had a tub shower that was not easy to get in and out of. Location was good, but if you want to spend time in Aix, it would be better to stay in Aix. However, Birdy has plenty of free parking, and hotels in Aix may not have either. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.

B&B Hotel Aix-en-Provence Pont-de-l'Arc is a budget-friendly 2-star hotel located just a short drive from Promenade de la Torse. The hotel offers simple yet comfortable rooms with amenities such as Wi-Fi and parking. Guests have found the hotel to be a good value for the price, with comfortable beds and helpful staff at the reception. However, some guests noted minor issues such as insects near the windows and the location being a bit far from the city center.
I have stayed several times at this hotel and always been welcomed. Security is good, gate ahut, fast Internet. A bit far out feom the town center but immediate access to main roads and motorway. Not too far from little shops.

Think of the worst hotel experience you have ever had, then think again. We made reservations for five nights at this hotel, but after the worst nights experience we’ve ever had we checked out the next morning and went to another hotel. A very small and dense room, a non-functioning AC unit that made lots of noise and circulated warm air into the room, and a clogged shower were the primary reasons for our decision to leave. But if we ever had any reservations about that hasty decision, the rude service from the staff who felt they were doing us a favor by simply listening to us sealed the deal. So very disappointing.

Everything was perfect for the money that we gave. Kind people clean rooms with air condition. The girl at the breakfast was so kind with us. Thank you 😊
Maria B — Google review
We came in late - the hotel room was small (we were 3 people, and there was no room to move around), the AC was not functioning at all, and the shower was not draining causing us to stand in water as we showered. When we mentioned these issues to the staff, they were dismissive and rude. Later that day we discovered that a kindle reading device was left in the room (on the bed). When we went to the hotel the next day (as this was after hours), they claimed that the kindle was not returned to them and must have been taken by the next guests in the room. This means that they did not change the bedding (sheets, pillow covers) between guests, as the cleaning crew would have seen it. If it fell, as the suggested, that means they did not sweep and clean the room. When we tried to talk to them about this, they shrugged and told us this was not their problem. Be very careful about booking with this hotel!

Comfortable budget hotel at reasonable price. Suited me for a one night stay but wouldn't want to stay any longer. Had cost not been an issue I would have preferred to have stayed in a bit more comfort, but I had a comfy bed and a private shower room so was fine. Breakfast was also good for the price and even included a cooked option (albeit not for me!).

This hotel is a complete waste of money and it is far from even an okay experience! Find a better hotel and never stay in any of their B&B hotels! - First of all, because their brand states B&B, but the breakfast is not included! How deceptive!! You must pay an extra fee to have it and it is surely not value for money. - No hairdryer is provided in the room and if you ask the guy at reception, he will surely have none to lend! - Shower towels are v small! - Used toilet paper - how disgusting. - Poor customer service. - On the website it showed a discounted price but at the desk upon arrival, despite showing the receptionist the offer on their website, they still made us pay more. - Dirty toilets, snack/drink machine in the hall was broken therefore no way to get even just a bottle of water.

The rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi and the convenience of free private parking. Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast each morning. While the rooms are described as clean, some guests found them to be small with double beds, and noted that the door number signs could be hazardous.
Great location on a quiet street close to nice grocery stores and a short drive to beautiful river park by the university. Room was clean and beds had nice linens and pillows. Breakfast was good but the eggs were terrible mushy slop made from powder.

The AC and heater does not work and so does the wifi. The wifi works for approximately 3 mins before disconnecting. You then need to relogin just for it to disconnect all over again. On top of that you get very minimal mobile data coverage.

Clean and tidy with very friendly staff..always a great nights sleep and a decent shower..used it often on our last trip to France and I would recommend it for anyone who wants a quick stop over during touring
Mark — Google review
The AC in one of the rooms we stayed in did not function as it normally should. It was giving out hot air. I tried to communicate with the 24/7 remote door service with English and then my little French, both of which they did not understand. The security guard helpfully delivered the message to the service line staff, but we were told that they could not assist. The reception closes after 8pm and so a warning for international travellers - you may not get help when you need it if you come in in the late evening.

The brakfast is amazing. The rooms are super clean, but very small. In a 2 person room there's a double bed, while me and my friend are not that close to sleep together - but we had no choice. But the biggest downside are the number signs on the doors. While the doors close on your face, you have to push them away to pass. I pushed just under the number and my finger was sliced open by the sharp edge. So, the hotel overall is amazing, but the signs are a hazard and should be taken care of somehow.

Too expensive for a 2 star hotel. The staff is mediocre at best. They refused to look over my stuff, the day I had to leave for 30 minutes after checkout ( I had school and finished at 12h) because of their stupid code system. I had to pay an extra 112€!!!!! And I noticed a faint brown stain on my bed. I was disgusted ! Never going back there ever. Their iron didn’t even work.

The attention was not the best. The girls in reception were not able to explain the arrival conditions clearly. My father requested and extra pillow (so simple) and they were not available to provided. Poor customer attention and very basic breakfast. The location in the middle of commercial are out side of the village.

The goal was to rest as the last stage on the way home and we looked for something affordable. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the beds and the bathroom. All very clean. For 4 people and a dog the room was a bit small but since we were only going to sleep it is not bothersome. It's a bit further from Aix-en-Provence than we thought, but it's easy to get there by car.

BED BUGS, TERRIBLE SERVICE AND EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF! RUN AWAY! I stayed there for one night, and the bed had bed bugs. My partner and I woke up covered in bites—an absolute nightmare! Excellent location, modest outdated rooms, reasonable breakfast and remarkably kind and helpful team. It's not a 4star hotel at all! It's an old 2 star with a 3star breakfast. If you are looking for good equipment, charming buildings and more service, this is not the hotel for you. On the other hand, it's so conveniently located near downtown and has a large garage, that you might consider it. Btw, there is the risk that you might not find parking space; although it's large, you might have more cars than its capacity. Also if you bring many large bags, you will have to walk a ramp in the open weather and not obtain any help, since it's a very reduced staff. Finally, I don't think it's worth the price.
Alvaro Z — Google review
This is obviously not a 4-star hotel, maximum 2, location convenient and really close to the centre. Service was good and friendly, and I can't add anything else, just positive comments about people who are working in this hotel. Breakfast was good. Room, o my, small, we were with 2 small suitcases and we barely have a space to open them. The room was clean, but, bedlinen and towels so old, their colour looked grey.
Iryna E — Google review
Firstly a disclaimer that I didn’t stay in this hotel. We drove by Aix-en-Provence as foreign tourists with a minor accident on the road and were in a hurry to find the nearest car rental station. Unfortunately I had to stop near the hotel for a “bio-break”. This is how I encountered with the hotel receptionist, whom coldly told me that the toilet in the lobby is “reserved to guests only” and I had to buy a bottle of drink in order to use it. As a “4-star hotel”, this is the situation I never encountered elsewhere in a hotel of a similar grade. Even when I implored to her that we were in an urgent situation and were lost in the city from where we needed to be, the lady insisted that rules had to be upheld with zero human empathy (including showing at least where the public toilets could be found in the nearby). As a hotel in a tourist city but not situated on the busiest tourist street, which I would have understood stringent rules against passersby, it was very disappointing and made me but wonder in situations of urgent needs for hotel guests, would they offer the help that may not be written on their job descriptions? Perhaps this is not the most valuable review for hotel booking, I thought it might still be helpful to share for international visitors to decide on their hotel bookings. After all, there are just so many options in this very lovely city.
Pi D — Google review
My stay at this centrally located hotel in Aix-en-Provence was perfectly fine. The room was very clean, the bed provided a comfortable night’s sleep, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety. On-site parking was a nice surprise. The hotel serves well for those prioritizing a convenient location and a few nice amenities.
Jim A — Google review
Basic furnishings but well-situated close to centre ville, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Overall a very nice stay. If you’re a super light sleeper this place may not be the best option as I could hear noise from the next room despite the noise level being normal level.
T L — Google review
My stay at Hotel Rotonde was an absolute nightmare. Our room was broken into, with a bag being vandalized and cash stolen from our wallet. Shockingly, the staff provided no assistance whatsoever. They simply instructed us to report the incident to the police and didn't bother to check our room or offer any alternative accommodation when we requested it. The level of negligence, indifference, and lack of security at this hotel is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at Hotel Rotonde if you value your safety and expect even the most basic level of service.
Bhilahari J — Google review
Really 3* hotel placed very close to the center, which is a great advantage. Location easy to see but not easy to reach, due to the one way street , so you need to pay attention if you come by car. The family room which we had was spacious and clean. The staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast is below average, quite minimal. Price for the family room was a bit higher, but we assumed that from the beginning. Overall nothing to complain, but nothing to highlight. They don’t have restaurant, but plenty alternative quite close. They have a parking, but if you are coming late the probability to be full is high, the public parking is anyway near by, which is coming with an additional cost.

Interesting location. Central for day trips although not much in the town itself. Our primary reason for staying after 3 nights in Marseille was to experience the 1 star Michelin restaurant- a bit of a disappointment. The food was okay however not good enough to overcome the clinical service which totally lacked any feeling. Service was overly prompt with plates cleared while the last bite was being eaten, wine pairing poured with no opportunity to peacefully finish the wine from the preceding course, the glass was just whisked away. Overall very disappointing and not a patch on other Michelin star experiences. Service rating is primarily to do with the restaurant rather than the hotel staff.
Kerry S — Google review
I'm rating the restaurant only since we haven't stayed at the hotel. The place is really nice, in and outside, super cosy. The staff is excellent and very professional. The food is disappointing for a 1 star restaurant. It's good and fine food, but pretty standard in terms of taste, texture and presentation. Nothing was outstanding and I actually had better food in non starred places. So overall it's really a poor value for money ratio and I would not recommend for someone who wants a 1 star experience.

Avoid. Book somewhere else. Absolutely not a 5-star experience — misleading listings, poor service, and zero accountability. We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2025 and were shocked by how far the reality deviates from the online descriptions. — The room we were given had no balcony, faced a wall at less than one metre, and felt like a semi-basement. — Reception staff was openly rude and aggressive when we raised the issue — waving hands, raising his voice. — No hot water on the first day — we were sent to another floor to shower. — The shower in our room lacked a glass panel, so water flooded the entire bathroom every single day. — The hotel is located at a crossroads — expect loud motorcycles revving all night. — Breakfast was unacceptable: flies crawling over fruit, stale-looking cold cuts, and overall poor hygiene. — No conditioner, no hand cream, no face sponges — when asked, the excuse was “we’re eco-friendly.” Not good enough. — No duty manager available to address concerns. — After wasting over an hour with Booking.com support, we discovered that the hotel simply does not have the room category shown online — those photos with balconies are fiction. As for the “Michelin-starred” restaurant: we paid over €200 for a few starters (no alcohol), served on plates that smelled like detergent. The award, if it ever existed, is no guarantee of quality today. This is not a 5-star hotel — 4 stars would already be generous. The “Michelin” reference is highly questionable. Booking.com takes no responsibility. This place survives on marketing, not substance.
Marcus A — Google review
Not 5 stars hotel. Room deco nice but no hot water. After 2 attempts to fix with no result, we should have been given another room right away. Instead, we were made to wait again. After 30 min of waiting in my bathrobe, I phoned reception and was told we could move to room next door to take our shower. Simple apology that is all. Not up to par for a 5 star hotel. Also Very disappointed with the one star Michelin meal. Fish dish was bland and didn’t taste so fresh. Other dishes was soso as well. I left at least 2 dishes unfinished. Not once did the waiter ask if all was ok. Very disappointing experience
Garunee G — Google review
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Quiet, new, clean in good location near Aix-en-Provence. And that’s it! these are all the advantages. The hotel was chosen primarily because of the good quality of the restaurant. but for breakfast for 30 euros we had bakery (not fresh), bread, butter, jam, yoghurt, one type of cheese and salami and eggs . And no fresh juices, no fruits. this hotel was the first place in France during our two-week stay where we had not tasty bread. My family was very hungry for lunch, we arrived at 13.35 and were informed that the restaurant was already closed for lunch. To my request to make an exception - a refusal or only snacks. There is no hair conditioner in the hotel, but after the failures with food, this is no longer so important. It’s amazing how a nice new hotel in a great location can be ruined by terrible service. PS. The Hotel answered that they offered fruits, selection of cheeses and meet, pastries. May be, but we hadn’t any fruits , only 1 type of cheese and ham, and only not fresh croissants and chocolate bun (not tasty). And as I said earlier, this Hotel was the only one place in France, where we had not fresh bread and pastries. I think this is enough to make an opinion.
Elena M — Google review
We stayed in the hotel for two nights and had a mixed experience: - very friendly staff at the reception during check in and check out - friendly service at the dinner in the restaurant - irresponsive and unfriendly service during both breakfasts (not being asked for coffee, not being greeted or led to a table, …) - rude service at the hotel bistro (outside) for a second dinner: service was very poor and slow, unfriendly. lighting was missing, the floor was dirty with old food and bird droppings and so on - the room was pretty and well equipped, conditioner was unfortunatly missing Food at the 1 star restaurant was overall good, but nothing special in terms of taste or texture. Had way better food in other places without a star. Overall the food experience was not worth what we paid for.
Christa M — Google review
Unprofessional staff and disappointing food. This is not 5* (no spa, no gym, small rooms and pool) and we felt so awkwardly unwelcome. Food wasn’t great and the restaurant management was plain rude in addressing dietary needs. At breakfast, which is €30 pp, my friend with lactose and gluten intolerance asked if she can have three boiled eggs and some salad. The staff lady was very annoyed at us for asking and waived a menu at my face saying ‘we don’t do salad for breakfast’, then turned around and walked away. We got the eggs which took about 20 minutes to arrive and they were so undercooked that we couldn’t eat them. Almost sarcastically, the eggs were served with buttered bread soldiers... honestly left me speechless as it seemed intentional. I understand you may not wish to cater to allergies at the evening restaurant, but you must do so during breakfast. Cherry on top happened after we left thanks to the reception staff. We forgot a small item in the room and the hotel posted it to my address without pre agreeing how much they’d like to charge my credit card for this ‘service’. It’s very convenient when you have a photocopy of your clients’ credit card and you can just charge whatever you want to it. In the UK it’s usually called fraud.

(Translated by Google) Lousy! I don't understand how some websites can give this establishment 5 stars! We were there for the May Day celebrations and it was hell! When we arrived around 10 p.m., the room wasn't made up, and the dirt was everywhere. The breakfast room is a real pigsty. Following our comments, some things have been improved, but this is unprecedented! The woman who organizes breakfast is as unpleasant as can be and is incapable of fulfilling her responsibilities! The breakfasts are way too expensive for what's offered. I can only note one positive point about this hotel: the young man who handles reception. He came back from home at a very late hour to offer us another room, a room that wasn't very shiny, but at least the sheets were clean! One piece of advice: run away! (Original) Nul !

(Translated by Google) Excellent value for money! Ideal location near the Pont de l'Arc, secure parking, very quiet hotel, well soundproofed room, simple but comfortable, very good bedding, same pillow (and this is not always the case in other much more expensive hotels! ). The kitchen (excellent by the way, only fresh produce worked on site) is run by a real chef who also ensures the training of disabled staff, the same thing for the floor and service staff. The management team is exemplary of dedication and commitment. A real approach to inclusion. Thank you all.

(Translated by Google) Well-located hotel in Aix with secure parking, but no elevator as it's only one floor. 24-hour reception. The room is a bit small and the sink/shower is a bit dated. The TV is small, but that's not why you go to Aix! The chef manages everything and is very welcoming. He is caring and provides good support to the disabled people working in the establishment for their integration. Bravo. As for the food, the fish had a funny taste, but we didn't get sick, so maybe it's a matter of taste. But the starters and desserts on the buffet were delicious.

Nestled in the heart of the Mazarin district, known for its numerous museums, MAISON DU COLLECTIONNEUR is a stylish guesthouse that exudes an intimate atmosphere reminiscent of a private art gallery. Each of its 6 rooms is uniquely designed with contemporary art pieces and vibrant colors, drawing inspiration from renowned artists like Fornasetti and Madeleine Castaing.
Location is great, everything walkable. The staff very attentive and gave us many restaurant recommendations. Room very clean and comfortable. Quiet side street. Slept well. There are stairs, but they are very kind to help us with bags. So the stairs are not a problem. The art and general decor is fashionable and fun. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

More than a stay, an "experience". Came with another couple and had an amazing time in this old-city jewel. Silvio and Emma took such good care of us, even helping me in advance with a birthday champagne greeting for my wife and arranging a car service to our next destination. Take advantage of the beautiful courtyard and lobby for drinks with friends before exploring the city's nightlife and restaurant scene. As others have mentioned, there are stairs but the staff brought our luggage both up and down without hesitation. Right in the downtown. Need to know that your Uber can NOT drive to the front door, so have their WhatsApp handy to call and they meet you on a nearby street, a short walk away. Again, no need to lift a thing. Would absolutely recommend and return again.

Our daughter in law from Avignon discovered this wonderful guest house. It is situated on a quiet street in the center of the city, convenient to all the fine shops and restaurants. Our hosts were kind and hospitable. Our room was so comfortable, decorated tastefully with lovely views onto a beautiful courtyard. We slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Your visit to Provence must include a stop here. A memorable stay, for sure!

As everyone else says, this boutique art hotel, so unassuming from the outside, is very cute once you enter the red door. We had a spacious artfully decorated room with the Nespresso machine, fridge, good closet space, great wifi, etc. BUT note that there are no elevators - a big problem for my 83 yo mother - but not hotel’s fault. Also our room only had a bathtub, no shower - again, big issue for my mom and a bit difficult even for me too. However, the location is killer, walking distance to the super cute Old Town. We picked up our picnic stuff - bread, wine, rotisserie chicken, olives - at the nearby stores and enjoyed our lunch on their cute terrace. Most importantly, their staff is awesome. They have a washing machine…for FREE! Huge benefit after coming off a cruise. They even sent the clean clothes back to our room folded. Way above expectations.

This is a very nice, comfortable, small hotel with, I think, six guest rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated, including with a lot of interesting art collected (hence the name) by the owner. It is very nicely located just off the rue d’Italie in the historic residential district just south of the Cours Mirabeau, which is the main street and best place for orienting yourself in Aix. Even the street-side rooms are quite quiet. The people who run the place are remarkable—warm, helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and efficient. It’s kind of like staying with friends of good friends, but with more fun people than usually found in that situation.

Excellent place to stay. We arrived later than expected, and the host had waited for us (bear in mind that this is not a hotel and there isn't 24-h reception), and welcomed us with the greatest warmth and politeness. He was extremely kind and took our luggage up the three floors. In general, staff were absolutely lovely and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and with fantastic design. The location is great, in the elegant and calm Mazarin neighborhood. Our room was the loft and was lavishly decorated, just as the rest of the place. We only have very minor comments. There wasn't much space to keep our belongings in the bathroom or to lay things while getting ready. There isn't a lift and you may have to climb up to floor 3 or up some steps to the room's mezzanine. We also missed having a table to work and we could hear the neighbours quite easily. The decoration was lovely and original, with superb taste!

Incredible boutique gem in Aix! We stayed for 4 nights and were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. Silvio greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home. The terrace is beautiful, we picnicked out there for lunch and had coffee every morning. Emma & Silvio helped us prepare our nespresso each morning to our liking and went above and beyond to make the stay great. The room was superb and refreshed daily. The staff was also extremely attentive with helping us make taxi reservations to the train station. The room is spacious and the location of the hotel is perfect and walkable to everything Old Town has to offer! We hope to be back to this small slice of Provence Paradise!!

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Aix! Rooms are spacious as well as have charm and character. Lots of fun art! We had a lovely view over the back garden, where we enjoyed a bottle of wine. The team is very kind and committed to everyone having a great stay. The only challenge is parking, but there is easy public parking that is a 5 min walk away and they shared with us the options before arriving. My parents loved this place as well!

(Translated by Google) The Domaine did not have our reservation although it was made on Booking, and the owner was suspicious that we decided to refuse to pay, I find that incredible. Icy welcome from the owner, who met us in the garden and who did not say hello to us (no better the next day). In short, we didn't feel welcome at all. In addition, we were given a 50cl bottle even though there were 2 of us. I find that deplorable for an establishment of such standing. Donating 2 bottles costs nothing. When it comes to toiletries in the bathroom, there are only the bare minimum. Too bad because the setting is very pretty and conducive to relaxation.

(Translated by Google) Terrible vacation..A disappointing stay Too many problems, to avoid!!! Our stay at the La Tour estate could have been memorable with the whole family coming from France and the United States, but we have bad memories of it… The exchanges with the owner were very friendly, I asked her if there was air conditioning and she told me that the house does not require air conditioning. I'm hesitant to rent the house because in summer in the south of France, I don't understand how we can do without coolness, and given the rental price... So I ask to provide at least fans because we have children... Request accepted (yes ma'am, I have messages) We arrive on site, and we are greeted by a “concierge” because the owners are on vacation. We realize that it is their residence, that they have rented the house and that in fact, they have left us no cupboard or cabinet to store our things. It doesn't matter, we're here for 5 days. There is a problem with the shower, where the water is running in small drops, in all the bathrooms! Impossible to take a shower, someone comes to repair it 2 days later… Concerning the dishes, the house is designed for 14 people and we only have mismatched cutlery and glasses...and there is not enough for everyone! Two days after our arrival, the concierge brought us something to fill this gap. But all the pans, pots, salad bowls are in a deplorable state, even disgusting...the dishes had been very poorly done. The oven is full of burnt black fat… No fan in sight!! And it’s a heatwave!!!!a horror!!! My two-year-old daughter sleeps terribly, I have a photo where it is 30 degrees on the baby monitor! The poor thing lay down on the floor in the bedroom to sleep! 3 days later they delivered fans to us via Amazon that we had to assemble ourselves. Oh yes, I forgot to say that on the day of our arrival, the concierge informed us that we can rent two mobile air conditioners (not at all intended for a large living room but for a small bedroom) at the price of €60 per week per week. air conditioner.. All ways are good to make money! And there are only two... We make splash splash to who can sleep in the cool???? The worst happens in one of the outbuildings, where a family with two young children lives. There is an interior button and an exterior key that must be turned when we leave. That day, we came back from the beach, and it was impossible to turn the key to open the blind and get in. I'm not going to go into details but according to the owners, it would be our fault if the blind no longer opened! So they decide to keep our deposit which amounts to almost 4500 Euros. The same outbuilding next door is rented to us with a blind that no longer comes down, broken! ! How strange!!!! Great to be woken up at dawn every morning! Impossible to reach the owners to discuss directly, they only want to send messages. We decide to call on our lawyer because they suggest we go through our home insurance. We refuse because there is abuse! After various back and forth messages, the owners announced to us that finally, the mechanical problem had been resolved, and that the deposit would be returned to us… Thanks for ruining the rest of my vacation with this story! We are used to renting beautiful houses around the world, and we have never encountered any problems! TO RUN!! Luxury services, my eye! Too many problems, to avoid!!!!!! A FUIR !! Prestations de luxe, mon œil ! Trop de problèmes, à éviter !!!!!!

Les Suites du Cours is a historical guesthouse offering cozy studios with modern decor and street views. The vacation rentals are affordably priced, especially for stays of four nights or longer. The property features a hot tub and is conveniently located in the heart of Aix en Provence. Guests have praised the clean and well-decorated apartments, with some featuring terraces and fully equipped kitchens.
We stayed in a larger unit for two nights and could not have had a better experience. With less than a 10 minute walk to parking and easy walking access to the old city while being located on one of the main streets, the location was perfect. The building itself was very clean, well built, and very quiet. The attention to detail within the unit itself was exactly as expected and was very warm and welcoming.

Location , Location, Location ! the location is perfect ! The apartment is nice ( maxi suite , 4 people ) , clean and big . One of the bedrooms is upstairs, maisonette style, but closing with a door. Which is nice for privacy , but there is no window, so no fresh air . At the end of our staying we were asked to take out the garbage , ''launch'' the dish-washer and remove the sheets from our bed. No vacuuming was required :). Which is strange for the price paid and the category of accommodation they offer. It would have been more suitable to offer a cleaning service for an extra cost and the clients could choose if they prefer to pay or to start cleaning themselves. For sure we would have been happy to pay.

What a fabulous stay. My comments can only echo all the other superlative reviews. After a long and peaceful sleep in a wonderfully comfortable bed I woke up Thursday morning to find that the length of Cours Mirabeau had turned into a lovely market and I'd not heard a sound as it'd been set up. Already thinking about when it'd be possible to return.

Wonderful We stayed at les Suites du Cours right after Christmas with our parents and kids. We had rent the Royale Suite and it was just perfect for our entire family. The view on the Cours Mirabeau is stunning. The beds are top quality and incredibly confortables. The volume of the suite and the high ceilings are impressive inside this 1655 mansion. Laurence and Yann are friendly and professional hosts. We will definitely be back !

(Translated by Google) Great location and great apartment! It's a shame I can't say the same about the spa area. The jacuzzi was indeed dirty. Brown deposits at the waterline were clearly visible in the corners of the jacuzzi. We immediately alerted the owner (with supporting photos), who herself noted the "unacceptable" condition of the jacuzzi, blaming the guests who had allegedly been disrespectful... She assured us she would take the necessary steps the next morning. Finally, the next evening, there were more deposits around the jacuzzi. Ugh, we turned back!! Second quick message to the owner with supporting photos, but this time no response... The lady waited until we had finally vacated the premises to respond. Blaming the guests who had allegedly soiled the jacuzzi is rather petty. Indeed, I think it wasn't enough to clean the edge of the jacuzzi... the water was simply dirty, and a few swirls were enough to recreate deposits on the edges. There's no way the water was changed regularly, as she had said. The accommodation doesn't deserve one star at all, but 5. On the other hand, the spa and the bad faith deserve ZERO. No gesture in return, no apology. A real shame, and especially not very good for "luxury apartments" as mentioned on the website. (Before anyone says I wasn't a customer, I stayed with Stéphanie Thiollier in this accommodation.)

Auberge La Coste, located at Chateau La Coste, has embraced organic agriculture since the 2000s, foregoing chemical products for a more demanding but ultimately rewarding approach. This commitment led to the estate's wines being certified as Organic Agriculture in 2009. The restaurant at Auberge La Coste has garnered praise despite its recent opening, with guests highlighting the warm welcome and impeccable service provided by Sophie.
Great value hotel, for what feels like 5 star luxury. Amazing service throughout. Feels like it has been there for years!

Enchanted stay, can’t wait to return! We spent just one night at Château La Coste, but it was enough to fall in love with the place. From the moment we called to book, Romaine and Noemi at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful, doing their best to guide us toward the perfect option for our needs. The rooms were beautiful, blending elegance and comfort with authenticity. The only minor detail I didn’t love was the automatic light in the WC — I personally find manual controls more comfortable, especially at night. That aside, the entire property feels serene and thoughtfully curated, where art, nature, food, and wine all come together harmoniously. Breakfast overlooking the vineyards was a dream — the buffet was small but well-chosen, offering everything you really need to start the day right. We left wishing we had stayed longer. I’d love to come back for a few more days and really soak in the atmosphere. A spa or pool would be the cherry on top of an already magical experience!

Auberge La Coste is an amazing hotel either if you are visiting with the family like we did or not you will have an amazing time there. The hotel is like a village surrounded by vineyards where more than 50 art pieces or exhibitions are to be discovered. So if art is your passion or wine or just a nature lover you will be in paradise. There are plenty different options for food in the hotel but to experience the only restaurant of Francis Malmann in Europe is definitely the best touch for this hotel where you can see the attention to details everywhere you look. The staff is lovely and very helpful at the image of the place they work at and you can see that they also fell in love with the place.

Wow what a place. Looks expensive from the entrance, with modern art around and the vineyards lining the road. Staff are lovely.came to help with our luggage,.speak perfect English. The room was amazing, lovely walk in shower, a separate toilet and a really comfy bed, with a balcony looking out over the grassland. There were even. Gluten free cookies when we arrived. The bar was great, the wine from the vineyard was sublime, even the rose!! The Francis Mallman restaurant was amazing, even the little marmalade cat who came for tit bits!! The food was fabulous, the wine divine and the staff so friendly and chatty. The pizzeria was wonderful too, fantastic pizzas. We really didn't want the short break to end. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Auberge La Coste in Provence was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for our entire visit. The staff were consistently attentive and professional, striking the perfect balance between discretion and friendliness, which made us feel truly valued as guests. The setting itself is breathtaking — surrounded by vineyards, gentle Provençal hills, and the extraordinary art scattered across the estate. The architecture and interiors blend seamlessly into the landscape, creating an atmosphere that is both luxurious and serene. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and designed with an elegance that reflects the soul of Provence while offering every modern comfort. Dining at Auberge La Coste was another highlight. The estate features four distinct restaurants, each set in a charming village-style setting and offering Mediterranean, Italian, Argentinian, and French cuisine. We were consistently impressed — every meal we enjoyed was of the highest quality, with dishes prepared with great skill and showcasing the flavors of the region. In addition, the property houses a magnificent wine tasting shop, where guests can explore and sample the estate’s own Château La Coste wines. What made the stay truly unforgettable, however, was the level of service. Every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring we had the best possible experience. Their attention to detail, willingness to accommodate, and thoughtful touches throughout our stay elevated the entire visit from excellent to extraordinary. In every respect — the setting, the design, the dining, art and above all, the people — Auberge La Coste exceeded our expectations. It is a destination in itself, a place where art, nature, and hospitality are woven together with remarkable finesse. We left with cherished memories and would return whenever possible.

The property sits close to a horse farm and there is nothing like hearing the horses neigh, a beautiful reminder of nature. The home itself is awesome and clean with great bedrooms and decor. The kitchen is fabulous and sitting outside at the large table just makes you feel like you are part of a movie set. South of France as we dream of it. A detail we loved was the turntable and vinyls, free to use in the living room.

I only recommend this B&B if it’s summer or spring, I went in winter and the stay was terrible… the room was freezing even though the AC was on the highest… the room (and bathroom) wasn’t heated before we arrived which played a role… location is excellent but that’s all.. if you’re going during cold seasons just go to a hotel… plus why is the sink in another room and not near the toilet! It’s not sanitary

The place is absoluteky great and the owner Cédric went out of hi way to make our stay perfect. A few small things might need refreshing for a longer stay: the bed creaked and the pillows were a bit old which made it difficult to fully enjoy our nights. Other than that everything was great, especially as we stayed there with our dog.

Les savons sont surgras avec des huiles essentielles à visée thérapeutique sans conservateurs. Exactement ce que je cherchais ! Ils ont aussi une gamme Zéro déchets, ainsi que des produits cosmétiques. Allez-y vite !

(Translated by Google) From the moment you enter this retirement home, surrounded by olive groves, you feel a unique atmosphere: that of a true home, a family home. The welcome is exceptional, imbued with warmth and kindness. This home, founded by the Little Sisters of Jesus, embodies a profound vocation: to care for the elderly with love, respect, and gentleness. The presence of a chapel, where a mass is celebrated every Wednesday, gives the facility a soothing, spiritual atmosphere, discreet but very present. The smiles, the attentiveness, and the attention paid to each resident give us complete confidence to entrust our loved ones to it. It is a place of life where serenity, respect, and humanity reign. A rare gem.
