Being a Saturday lunch maybe the head chef isn’t present . Dessert menu almost non existent - dropped into QVB for an indulgent sweet. Would I go again? Not for a meal but yes for a meeting place & drink.

Recently my wife and I did the Alaska inside passage cruise on the Konnigsdam. I have never encountered such disinterested staff, it was apparent they didn’t want to be there and the customer service was appalling. We had a problem with the toilet in our cabin making it unusable, we had to go to another deck to a public toilet. It took 3 days for them to sort the problem out. Whenever I rang customer service they just couldn’t care less and were not concerned at all that we couldn’t use the toilet. The food in the Lido Market buffet was terrible, there was very little choice. We tried Rudi’s restaurant thinking the quality of the food would be better but it was just as bad and disappointing as you had to pay extra for bad food. Even the main dining room was food was awful and once you are seated you wait ages for service. We ended up eating most of our meals at the burger place at the pool, it’s pretty hard to stuff up burgers and fries. Very disappointing trip, I would never go with HAL again.
