疫情期间过生日点的套餐，分量比较小，五道菜吃了快仨小时，吃到最后又饿又困又无奈，女朋友给准备的蛋糕服务员也忘记了，总的来说体验不是很好。

We had a glass of sake each, which were larger than we anticipated so they did the trick. We finished dinner in just over an hour and were quite satisfied with the food and how full we felt.

去过几次，感觉越来越差。菜单以日式拉面为特色，但是完全不正宗，也不是创新的类型，真心不推荐对拉面要求高的朋友。这次点的piccolo和chai超级难喝，一半都没喝完。美其名曰的light和dark拉面其实就是基础低配版拉面，面条甚至好几根粘在一起。最可气的是，手里的饮料还没喝完拿着进店的时候，被要求喝完才能进店，在悉尼真是闻所未闻的无理。

We had a large variety of sashimi and sushi as well as the prawn Gyoza and edamame! Food was all so fresh and delicious, really great quality and flavourful. The selection of Japanese specialty drinks was also great and the property is BYOB for a small charge. Overall very good value for money as well in comparison to the extortionate sushi places around. If you are in a rush for dinner this is not the spot for you, we were happy to have our drinks and have various dishes arrive in big intervals but it was quite slow due to being a at capacity Saturday evening. There was a mix up with a table near us as they had used our table number to order and we were getting their food, I believe this is who left a bad review a couple of days ago. The reality is they used the wrong table number and should have spoken up when no food arrived, the table had a very bad attitude when they left. Not very fair to leave a negative review they also didn’t pay for some of their food and added it to our bill... We did flag we hadn’t been ordering the things arriving so this is a learning for next time for the staff to not just assume we ordered by mistake and to check with other tables if they are missing food.

I had the miso tonkotsu ramen. Generous with the toppings chasiu was generous right thickness thender and flavors are spot on, noodles are thin and chewy(just the way i like it), the egg was perfect runny and gooey yolk, and for the main component of the bowl the broth was not thick but a full flavor and packed with umami, very nice velvety mouth feel and you can really experience the sticky feel on your lips because of the collagen in the broth (just a simple amazing bowl). My wife had the shoyu chicken broth(its their specials). Same toppings the noodles are medium bit curly chewy, and the broth is also packed with full chicken flavor (in a good way) and so light also a good bowl. I was worried the bowl won't be enough for me as i always order extra noodles with my ramen and i was wrong it was more than enough for me a generous serving. And end the meal with their home made matcha cheese cake also so good. Meals are a bit on the expensive side but its worth it. Imagine having to flag down the server whenever you needed something it was like a game of hide and seek, imagine receiving the drink you ordered when you’re about to finish your meal. Needless to say I will never be returning even if they were handing out free food. We saw only 1 recent ish negative review in regards to the service to which the restaurant had replied saying they would address their concerns… so surely it would be fine. Right? The experience of subpar service began as soon as we sat down. After being seated we waited upwards of 20 minutes to even be asked if we wanted to order a drink - and this only happened because we waved a server down. The staff seemed quite happy to stand in the middle of the restaurant yarning to each other instead of actually serving the customers. We even saw another couple seated outside sitting and waiting to be served for far too long. After ordering our meal (long play set menu) we then were treated to dishes that took a few minutes at most to eat with complimentary 10-20 minute intervals between dishes. Honestly it’s kind of ridiculous that we sat down just before 7:30pm and in a half full restaurant had to wait until 9:10 before we got through 5 dishes - which is not even the full set menu by the way. Speaking of full set menu, they seemed to forget what dishes we had been served with a server at one point asking us where we were up to. They also completely forgot to give us the Brussel sprouts dish so that’s very cool. And then to end it we got 1 small dessert between the 2 of us. Credit where credit is due, the tataki and wagyu dishes were top notch, the chicken skewers were okay - definitely not worth the 20 minute wait after the scallops which were also fantastic. The food here is quite good but is it worth the terrible service and extremely long wait times between dishes? I say absolutely not. TLDR - food is good, service and wait times are horrid, not worth and would not come back unfortunately.

Every dish was impeccably cooked and presented. Complexity of flavour enhanced the top quality ingredients. We throughly enjoyed each dish. We were so full by the time get to the dessert. This is my first time trying the new Spring menu and it's next level. The way every dish and drink is presented is incredible. I found myself staring at plates longer than I should, just taking in the colours, textures and details. And then when you finally taste it, it’s even better than it looks, every flavour is considered, every ingredient has a purpose and you can feel the thought and care behind every dish. We had a beautiful three-course dinner: Kingfish and Scallop Sashimi to start, Gundagai Lamb and Maremma Duck for the mains, and Ispahan and Banana Chokorēto for dessert. What I love most is the personal touches.The staff take the time to explain each dish, answer questions and make sure the experience is tailored to you. I don’t drink, but even I'm always impressed when they roll out the Louis Vuitton trunk, it’s such a theatrical moment. You get to choose your own sake glass based on your favourite colour, and it just adds to how special everything feels. Every element, from presentation to service, is executed with such care that it makes the whole experience feel rare and elevated. Even if you’re not a foodie, this is a place that makes you feel like you’re part of something remarkable.
