I had to speak to another three or four more staff members before getting any answers. While the manager did offer immediate compensation for the lost cake, the entire experience was far more stressful than it should have been. It’s a real shame because the venue is beautiful, the food was great, and the drinks were reasonably priced. But the lack of organization and poor communication among staff completely ruined what should have been a special evening. I spent more than half my birthday dealing with unnecessary issues instead of enjoying time with my guests.

I appreciate the pub is busy after a game but I would never return. The pub owners/managers clearly do not plan for sports matches and it shows. I came after a game at Allianz Stadium (41k in attendance) and waited for 35 minutes to order drinks at the main bar. 1 of their 3 payment terminals didn’t work and in terms of staffing they had 4 staff to cover the entire bar which is not nearly enough. Further, the single staff member on the side of the bar the bouncer forced (seriously) us into was not trained at all. They made mistakes on every order (every customer was raising this) with my own missing an entire drink and another beer being the completely wrong brand and type despite me repeating it twice and pointed to it right in front of me. We booked the rooftop for some drinks and arrived ordering some beers and cocktails. Beers were no problem but the cocktails were still missing 20 minutes later. We follow up on the cocktails to be told they had run out of ingredients for those cocktails and in fact we had to select different ones. After doing this the member of staff returns to say there is no record of payment so could we prove that (we were not offered a receipt at any point in this process) Finally this gets cleared up and the cocktails arrive. In the meantime we ordered food and in a good amount of time 5/8 meals arrived. After 15 minutes the other 3 still hasn’t so we enquire about the whereabouts of these meals. Two arrive immediately having clearly been sat there waiting with no staff. The other arrives in another 10 minutes piping hot and clearly forgotten about until the moment they were reminded. Overall I believe the individuals do their best and they deliver fine drinks and average food for a large price however the communication is horrendous and there is clearly a fundamental problem within the staff that needs someone far more clever than whoever is currently in charge to fix. When I actually visited and experienced it though, it’s absolutely a stunning venue with an incredible vibe. Not an authentic Cantonese restaurant but something modified to cater for Non-Chinese eaters. The layout is more of a bistro with the bars used as dinning tables when seats are fully booked. It took us a bit of effort to find this restaurant on Bridge Lane. The lane is a one way alley way for automobiles other than pedestrians. There is even NO SIGN on the front door to indicate this is the place we are looking for (by Google Map). Me and my father was led by a waiter to the bar on the basement level, when I said to him it was hard to find it, I was surprised by his reply "Are you sure you are looking for Mr. Wong?" He and a few of his co-workers tended to judge us by our appearance, I am just on a T-shirt and a cargo short, no fancy dress code. 我们住在索非亚大酒店，搜到附近这家中餐厅没想到如此火爆，转了很多圈好不容易找到了结果没有位置，前台说需要等1.5小时我的女儿饿的不行了，我们决定点好带走，中间大堂经理过来问明白情况，最后我们的订单15分钟就好了，我觉得他们服务非常的周到，他们的菜品也是非常好吃😋下次我们来悉尼度假要早预定，坐下来好好享受一下晚餐🥂
