There are incredible Italian dishes, a monster cheese and wine selection, however, the cocktails are just okay for the price, but there are plenty of special dishes to keep you coming back. The servers are nice and friendly, attentive and helpful with recommendations, but the major issue with Bari is the atmosphere. The dining area is small, which is fine, but the acoustics in the room are a nightmare, more than likely due to the hard walls and lack of dampening panels or fabric to soak up the sound. It's almost impossible to hear the server or even the person next to you without yelling, and it becomes very overstimulating. Beyond that I highly recommend a visit for the food alone, but this isn't the place for a cozy and quiet date night. Regardless, I still give it an A+ because the greatness of the food makes up for the atmosphere.

House made vanilla gelato was decent and the espresso coffee was fine too. Overall our experience was absolutely great and I highly recommend the place.

Nothing was impressive, the service, the food, the restaurant oh well maybe the parking but that's it! Had the Fritto Misto, Crab Claws (these are a must!), Lobster Ravioli, Halibut, Beef Stroganoff, Sausage Orecchiette, and an amazing dessert. Make the trip to visit this restaurant!

We started with the Fritto Misto appetizer, which is fried Zucchini and Squash spears in a Tempura style batter served with a delicious sauce. It was incredible! For our entrees, we chose the Butternut Squash Ravioli and Spaghetti with Wild Mushrooms. We ordered the full portion size of each and are very glad we did, as the full portion of Ravioli is still rather small. Considering Raviolis are a more labor intensive dish to make, I can understand why, but I would certainly make sure to get a side dish with it in the future. The Spaghetti with Wild Mushrooms was a fantastic portion size though and was quite filling. For desert we had the Oreo Cheesecake and the Tiramisu. The Oreo Cheesecake came with a Strawberry Sauce and a Blackberry Sauce. I never thought to pair Oreo Cheesecake with a Blackberry Sauce, but I am so very glad they did. It was amazing together! Our favorite beverage of the night was the Tequi Tiki Tavi. Not only was it fun to say, it's also one of the best cocktails we've had in Memphis. The server was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! We decided the Fritto Misto was our favorite dish of the night. The atmosphere was perfect. They had a very talented Musician playing Guitar with a volume where you could enjoy the music, but still have a conversation without having to raise your voice. It was refreshing. The potatoes were devoid of flavor, I couldn't even taste the parm. No salt at all. The ribeye was a pretty rubbish cut. I can go to Sam's and purchase two pack of thick, fat ribeyes for $36 dollars or a Wagyu Strip from Kroger for $30. $42 for a cut that I probably could get at Chili's, the pricing could have been better for a thin ribeye. I don't ask for comps on meals. The server was great, I tipped her 25% for being so kind. I ate the food they brought back out reheated just because I was hungry. It sucks that management didn't even come out AT ALL to apologize for this awful blip. I think some Memphis restaurants are comfortable because they've been here for a while. The people who come to eat food are looking for quality eats. I'm not asking for Michelin star, I've had plenty of that. Just give us the quality food AND service we know that Memphis food can provide. It's crazy to me because Tonica has been spot-on every time, while the main franchise continues to disappoint. Would like to note there was no reason for the oil to be that dirty considering we came in before 12 and they open at 10 so I have a suspicion that it really was OLD dirty oil. Purposely came to this location over the one closest to my hotel thinking it'd be a better experience. Sadly, that was not the case. Our waitress was lovely, funny and very communicative. By the time I got to my food the pizza was no longer hot. I took a slice to munch on with the intent to heat the rest. The pizza never made it to the oven. at ROOM TEMPERATURE this pizza a delicious!! I at a few more slices just as they were. There was plenty of chicken and cheese on the top. Although it wasn't giving the "buffalo " taste I was originally looking for, this pizza was "buffalo-ing" in its own unique delicious way so I was satisfied. Now to the carrot cake. It was very good as well. It appeared to look a little dense and in a sense it was. The cake was very most (almost a lil bit too much) but it didn't subtract from the good flavor of the cake. For that I would give it a strong B+. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would order both items again. High Point will have to be a special treat though at this point because my belly can be made just as happy at some other spots that would make my pockets happy also. We ordered several items which included different pastas, some calamari and some pizza. The calamari were thicker and slightly fishy to me. Ive definitely had better ones at other places, but these weren't bad. The bolognese was very good and the sauces are all housemade. The gnocchi with pesto could have used more salt for my taste and was very oily for me. The pastas come with a salad and bread as well. The salads are good, normal salads and the bread is good especially for dipping in pasta sauce. The pizza was the best thing about our visit though. This place is legit good. We grabbed dinner here the other night and it was hopping. The staff is super friendly and hustled the whole time. The food is fresh and there’s not a long wait. There are a truckload of pizza options and they even serve wine and beer. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was very good. Cooked just right with a crisp, thin layer of breading on a pile of spaghetti with a great sauce and loads of cheese. My wife ordered the cheese pizza and said it was good as well.
