Missed the pandas but knew they weren't going to be here and it's not the fault of the zoo. The animal experts were so kind and knowledgeable and treated the animals with care. The animals looked well cared for and enclosures were large and clean.

The park is absolutely beautiful and full of space to explore. The playground area is fun, colorful, and perfect for younger kids my daughter had the best time. So with the ambiance and great food, we had a great anniversary celebration with professional sevice from our waiter, Bryan. Saturday, was part 2 of our SFP experience. I surprised my husband with a one private horse back ride. The weather could not have been more perfect! We were led on the trail by one of best trail leaders ever, Laura or Lady (nickname). It was our first time riding and I shared with Laura that I was "low-key" freaking out. lol! but Laura encouraged me and promised I would relax within several minutes and she was absolutely right! The ride was so peaceful and enjoyable and capped off our anniversary time at the park!

The grounds are huge very well cultivated, you can tell a lot of love and work goes into the garden. Definitely recommend getting the annual pass, it's effectively paid for itself after a short period of time given how frequently I visit the place. While definitely popular (for great reasons!) w the local schools and for weddings and photo shoots, still large enough to have some privacy and peace even at peak hours. The Asian garden and the herb garden are probably my favorite sections of the whole place.

The adventure started with a nerve-wracking ride up the tallest freestanding elevator in the country, soaring 300 feet to the top. This place was formally Jacob Burkle’s estate where he was an abolitionist that helped the enslaved escape. He even intentionally made his house with hiding places underneath and holes to let in light and air for the enslaved hiding beneath. We had the honor of standing in the basement space and they turned the light off and you immediately got a sense of what they felt being down there and adjusting to the darkness&thankful for the light that was coming through the holes. Everything was so clean, they greeted us as soon as we stepped through the door. They were very nice and friendly. It is $8 per person. You can take an elevator to get to the hall of fame or you can climb up steps. It's a pretty easy walk up the steps. You get to the second floor and it's on the left. You walk in and instantly hit with some pretty cool stuff. There's a bench to sit on behind the ramp. There's bathrooms and water fountains down a hallway leading to some more stuff. You go up the ramp and are immediately hit with Memphis music history. From Elvis, three 6 mafia, and so many more. It's a great experience and I would recommend coming here. I find the pricing for the venue to be fair. The parking mostly accessible for those with walking impairments and the views pretty good for most places within the theater however there’s not much legroom if you’re over 5‘7 anywhere in the theater, unless you’re seated in a box in the lower balcony in the upper balcony leg room is horrible and so is the sound. This can be offset by renting available hearing devices from the coat room near the one elevator on the first floor concessions are also ridiculously high as they are in most places. We found this spot on our way through right off the interstate. The ribs were meaty and tender, and although the sauce was very different than what we were used to, it was still delicious. The star of this BBQ is the dry rub, sauce and baked beans. All of which were very flavorful. The atmosphere and servers are authentic and top tier.
