この度『ルーマニア・ブルガリア旅行』して、最初に目にした名所です。1878年に最初の木製凱旋門が造られ、現在のものは1936年12月1日に完成しました。第一次世界大戦で活躍された軍隊を称えて造られたとのことです。高さ27mで、内部にある階段で頂上まで登ることができます✨パリのエトワール凱旋門に似ています。

ルーマニアを訪れる際は毎回ですが、オトペニ空港（現：アンリ・コアンダ空港）に降りて、車でブカレスト市内に向う途中、この凱旋門を通ると、ルーマニアに着いた！という気分になります。
