The Restaurant looks and feels a trendy and up market venue. It had a young adult/middle age vibe on the night. Meet & Greet was friendly and was asked about Allergies etc. The seating where we were directed to had hard benches and rope backing. Not to our liking as I have a bad back! The service was good and there were plenty of staff (both male and female, unlike most Indian Restaurants). The food was of a high standard and similar in portions to Tapas. Our visit was based on me walking past a few weeks ago and being captivated by the gorgeous aromas coming out of the place. Booked to visit with friends and unfortunately it didn’t live up to our expectations. No fault of anyone at the restaurant, but I hurt my back the day before so having to sit on a swing seat for two hours was very uncomfortable. The place was busy so it wasn’t possible to get to a standard table until almost the end of the meal which was too late by then. None of our party found the swing seats comfortable, back issue aside. It was so bland and tasteless I had to add seasoning myself to bring out any flavour from the filling. My fiancé was pretty much of the same opinion that it lacked seasoning. The biggest let down on the plate for both of us was the so called mini roasties, these were in fact very small cubes of overcooked and burnt pieces of potatoes and added zero value or taste to the plate. We dutifully cleared our plates as we were both very hungry, however we were both left feeling hungry still and not filled up at all. It then took a while to attract the attention of one of the two servers so we could pay our bill. And it was after I had paid that I was left with a very sour taste in my mouth.......... A discretionary service charge of 10% had been added onto the bill without checking it was ok to do so, and I was only aware of this charge after I had paid and checked my receipt when leaving. The owners delivered the food to my door on their way home which was really nice of them. The food was fantastic, might be the best Asian food I've ever tasted! Portion size was very generous too. Luckily I bought two lots to last me the weekend, but I'll be definitely be ordering again. Can't wait to see what's on the menu next week! :D
