Absolutely loved our brunch at Wake Up and Waffle! The food was incredible from start to finish. The cookie butter waffle was hands-down the star of the meal — perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and that cookie butter spread was pure heaven. We also ordered the chicken and waffles, which hit that perfect balance of sweet and savory. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and the waffle was just the right amount of sweetness to tie it all together. Before we devoured it, I managed to snap a quick picture (it was too good to wait!). Another highlight: the seasoning on the breakfast potatoes — seriously next level! We shared everything family style so we could try a bit of everything, and there wasn’t a single bite we didn’t love. If you’re in Sandusky, definitely don’t miss this spot!

It was fun to try their Liège waffles (brioche-style with pearl sugar) but I didn’t like them as much as traditional American waffles or other Belgian waffles. They were too crunchy and yeasty. My order was well prepared with bananas and nuts and a side of eggs. The flavors were great. I just would have preferred them on a different waffle. The lack of non-dairy milk for coffee was disappointing and the only vegan option was tofu scramble but the service was excellent and it was well worth the try.

With a 4.5 rating and a name like Wake Up and Waffle, how could we not try it? There was a 50 minute wait, but it was worth it. Friendly service and excellent food. I tried the Eye Opener on our server's recommendation and my husband chose the fresh squeezed carrot ginger juice. Both were very good. I'm not much of a waffle fan, but our server said theirs were unique and worth a try. I had the Elvis, with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon. So very tasty. My husband had the Waffle Brunch Sandwich with Bacon. Also very good. The meals were just the right amount of food even when we were very hungry. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.7 stars

I’m extremely disappointed and upset with the restaurant. I’m someone who loves to try new restaurants . Wanting brunch myself and my daughter visited the restaurant . There was a 30 minute wait to be seated and I had no issue with that . Once seated we ordered and waited over 30minutes for our food to arrive ! The chicken they provided me with was extremely salty, dry and overcooked even after eating a piece of the waffle my tastes buds were ruined ! I was unable to eat anything ! I did not want anything else because the salt truly ruined my pallet . They would not provide a discount or anything I had to pay full price . I visit many restaurants and never had this happen . I don’t know if they assume because I’m black that I like a ton of salt but that’s not the case . I will never eat here again .

i love brioche and i love breakfast foods, so this was the perfect place for me!!! servers were very nice both times i went for brunch. i love the sugar pearls in the batter, mostly because i just love sugar lol. i got the wakie waffle and it was scrumptious!!!! even better w the syrup, but you could argue that's true with every waffle haha. i do selfishly wish it was closer to where i usually am since i came on vacation.

Elvis waffles were delicious. Bacon seemed precooked though and not really hot. Kinda crunchy, not crispy. Turkey florentine is pretty good too. Service was friendly and quick.

I am usually a victim of the chicken waffle. It always sounds great and I order it wherever I see it on the menu… this one was amazing. The smaller richer waffles worked so well with the sweet and spicy tossed chicken. Amazing.

Had a delicious lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was packed! The service was very good and the restaurant was clean. I recommend salad with ranch dressing and the trying their fries!

Love this restaurant. First time experience. Can see myself a local. Got the Friday special. As there are many to choose from. HOT tea. Was amazing as it’s served with honey and hot water. My ceasers salad was A1 top tier. Don’t miss out! Get your soup as I got their baked potato! Mmmmm! Delicious GEM!

We were recommended this restaurant when we visited the Merry go round museum. Everything was wonderful. The French onion soup looked unlike other French onion soups I've had, but was absolutely fantastic! I had the perch dinner which was also great. There were zero complaints from our party of 8 and the service was very friendly and attentive. We took our desserts to go and haven't tried them yet, but they look to die for!

My husband and I ate breakfast at Berardi’s and what a treat it was. We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. Our order was taken and our food arrived in a timely manner hot and fresh. This is a small family restaurant and their attention to detail shows. My husband had the Bourbon Pecan French Toast and he said it was the best French Toast he has ever had! Don’t miss their great food and hospitality.

Food was fantastic! The reason for 4 stars on service, had to wait for our bill but wanted to add pie. Very friendly! Rib eye sandwich w/fries and Berardi's burger w/br mushrooms.

Truly a 10/10 experience. Even though it was busy, got sat right away and our hostess and server were as kind as could be. All of our orders were correct, huge, and unbelievably delicious. The fries are as legendary as they say. The salads were so fresh and everything was definitely homemade from scratch. The icing on the cake was their cream cheese pecan pie. I cannot wait to come back!!

I was having a difficult morning and decided to take a long drive here. Went to the drive through and was immediately greeted, the person on the other side very cheery while doing so. Drove up to pay, the gentleman very kind and paitent and when he handed me my food and drink, he even said "man, this looks good!" And he was right! I've never seen a more delicious looking strawberry Frappuccino! Made my morning a little bit nicer.. thank you, guys!

From the moment I entered the store I felt judged by the associates. I waited over 10 minutes for two lattes. Only to end up with my second drink tasting completely different than a simple white mocha. And I didn't even ask for a remake because it seemed like the associates were upset about working.

When I walked in a team member greeted me by name, took my order quickly, and really lifted me up with her attitude. Right after that the manager walked up and gave me a cheerful "Hi Wes" and the whole visit made the great drink even better !

Standard Starbucks with a drive thru. It's the only on that's relatively close to anything. Location was clean, it's not the biggest Starbucks but it has some work spaces. Baristas were nice, fast, and made my drink right.

All the staff was friendly when I went in… but the one guy in there(I don’t know his name) was mad cool and friendly, and very respectful .. the staff made my two drinks very well

Disgusting bathroom! My chai is like water with no flavor at all. My husbands Cortada tastes burnt. Worst Starbucks we’ve been to in awhile. It wasn’t even busy 🤷🏼‍♀️

Have been to this location multiple times, but they can never make my drinks right. The refreshers are not made properly or shaken right. I got a pink drink that had next to no coconut milk in it. Very disappointed.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! You must try this out when you’re in town! This place is run so well and the service is out of this world. We weren’t expecting to be treated like family, but my goodness, it was like we were adopted as we stepped in. The food - omg! So darn good! We couldn’t stay away after the first experience so we have had many different offerings at all hours of the day! It’s truly to die for! Order came out quickly and perfectly. I’m picky and they complied with every request. Just WOW! The service - it didn’t matter who served us, each one of the 4 servers we had was just phenomenal!! They are so diligent and such amazingly hard workers! I believe they all checked in on every table several times in their section to ensure everything turned out well! It also is not common to see the owner of the restaurant there and greeting all tables, and his kindness is out of this world. If you go here, I guarantee you will return! Please bring this to Cincinnati! And include at least a few of the servers!

This place is spectacular! Such a cute welcoming atmosphere, the people are incredibly friendly and the food is simply outstanding! I can’t believe how reasonably priced everything is as well. The dessert case has a ton of tempting treats and we couldn’t resist a couple of cheesecake slices- they were beyond delicious. This is a must do place in Sandusky!

I recently ate here with my family and had a great experience. The prices are very good alongside good serving sizes and the food is very tasty. Our waiter, Hugo, was very considerate of us the whole visit and was willing to describe lots of information to us about the food here. He also checked on us many times with enthusiasm. If you're in the area for any reason then you should definitely stop at this restaruant.

Stopped here when we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge this spring. The kids loved it. The for was all fresh and tasty. Generous portions. The carrot cake was just like my Grandma used to make. The rueben sandwich was big enough for sharing.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, and amazing people. Because of the crew at Dianna's, I always felt like I knew a friendly face when I walked it. I've already told my friends and family if you're going to be near Sandusky, you have to come here. Don't be afraid to say hello because they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Seriously, thank you so much to everyone at Dianna's for all you did for me ❤️🎢

I talked my friend into going here for her first time and she was pleasantly surprised!! She got the perch sandwich and it came with a salad and rice pilaf for only $10.99 (senior price). I got their Pasta Siciliano, it was Excellent, as well!!

I always eat here when I come to Cedar Point. It's tasty and not too expensive. They give decent-sized portions. Service is good. They have a lot of variety on their menu.

This has to be one of the most depressing breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel has this incredible view to the lake and their decision to have their restaurant for breakfast be shoved in the darkest, most uninspiring spot in the building with NO WINDOWS TO THE AMAZING VIEW in the building is absolute insanity. Not sure I will come back till this is updated. Also… way too much money for such a lousy experience. Took way too long to get basic eggs and bacon… Put the restaurant at the back windows FACING THE LAKE and let it be a buffet SO WE CAN SIT OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE DAMN VIEW.

We had the best service during our recent stay at Breakers. It had just started to rain and our server Ben was on top of his game. He was sat several tables at the same time. He was on top of everything. Unfortunately there was a mishap with our tray and our food had to be remade. Ben was sure to tell us immediately what happened and was able to deliver our soups while our food was remade. Everything came out perfect. Ben was an amazing server and was so apologetic for the mishap which wasn't even his fault. Things happen in the restaurant business. This will definitely not be our last visit as we are season passholders and are planning another stay this season at Breakers. Thanks for the amazing service and be sure to ask for BEN!!!!

I honestly never do this kind of thing but this amazing girl needs a shout out! My family and I were dining 6/26 at the resort and I watched a girl named Lexi with s blonde streak in her hair run her tail off! She sat us, sat others, got drink orders and ran the food! The servers should be so thankful to have her around. I’m unsure of her position but she needs a raise! She kept a smile the entire time and I didn’t see her fret once! Way to go honey. I will be back to see her!!

Dont go here... it is terrible after 15 minutes at our seat we finally met our server. Once we ordered 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals it took 40 minutes to get the food. Which was NOT GOOD. Anyhow 10/10 dont recommend.

We had a very bad experience at TGI Fridays the night before we came to the breakfast place the next morning and Lexi apologized after we told her our horrible encounter with fridays dirty restaurant… she didn’t even work at Fridays!! She showed great hospitality and empathy. She is an amazing part of your team & very professional! The host greeted us quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend Perkins breakfast with huge portions and quick service. Keep doing awesome.

Nice atmosphere. Mediocre food. Ordered eggs Benedict. They were badly overcooked. Server disappeared and when he finally reappeared, he said he was sorry. I agree. 😕

Resort pricing. Food portions were generous. Jasmire was a great server. So much different than the TGIF from last night, a complete 180.

Like most cracker barrel. The experience was a good one. Like the atmosphere of the items of days gone by. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The only disappointment was one of my wife favorite dishes has been taken off the updated menu. Overall though the experience at the Cracker Barrel in Sandusky was a great one

This location is GREAT! When you walk in, the retail area is so inviting. There was no wait to be seated. When I sat down the wait staff was already coming to the table. The food came out hot and exactly how I wanted it. The wait staff was always checking on me to make sure I didn't need anything. When I was done eating, I went out to do a little shopping. The retail staff was nice, and knew what they were doing. The restrooms were clean and smelled good.

Only place I love to eat. Bonus found my Rori's princess Elsa dress. Only here can I have a great meal and find a perfect gift... lol

I wouldn’t give the food a single star if I had a choice. We live 2 1/2 hours away from Sandusky, came to have a small vacation. Decided on Cracker Barrel for dinner. My chicken was okay for the most part, or so I thought. Now my stomach just flat out hurts. My grandfather ordered the meat loaf. He was almost done with his meatloaf when he looked down and noticed the last 1/3 of the meat was UNCOOKED. Literally raw meat. Not even the slightest of brown color. Won’t be surprised if he ends up getting sick from it. Gave me hard as a brick corn muffins, then told me they were “out” of them. Out of them or just didn’t want to make anymore ?? The waitress was so quiet we all had a very hard time hearing her. She took forever to get our drinks and take our order let alone bring us the food or refills. Another woman who I’m assuming is a manager was the one to bring us our food and refills. We never spoke to the original waitress after that. The manager told us it was because she was so behind on tables. She was only serving us and 1 other table. It’s Tuesday, 5/27/25 and we was there at about 8:00 pm. It wasn’t busy. HORRIBLE. and I loved Cracker Barrel prior to this. I live 30 miles southeast of Columbus and we chose this place out of all places near by so we could eat somewhere we were familiar with. I’ll never eat at this location again, Cracker Barrel as a business in general will probably not be receiving anymore of my money, which is upsetting to me because I loved their food and the small store to look around in, I buy from it every time we eat at the location closest to where we live.

This is the worst Cracker Barrel I ever been to. This is vary poorly managed. Our waitress was covering 90% of the tables with no help. After the hour wait we finally got or food which was molded fruit and poorly cooked. Then if you buy anything from their gift shop double check your bag before you leave because they will scan it drop it on the floor and not but it in your bag. I definitely will never go here again and would rather starve. To our waitress I know you were trying your best and this is not towards you. Do better Cracker Barrel

Food was ok! They messed my order up. We had to wait for the biscuits & corn bread.it took forever yo get our good. They need to bring out biscuits & corn bread before we get our meal, Also the salads & coleslaw, before our meal comes, like they used to. Not sure why they changed it??

It’s just fine. Probably should stick to breakfast if you want fresh cooked. Everything else just tastes over processed. Nothing went wrong so it was just OK. The good- Waitress did give out group of kids their own table and was very kind to them! Thanks!

Bob Evans is never the place I think of when I want to get food from past experiences. But me and my family thought why not give it another shot! Man did it not disappoint this time! Our server AK was such a delight. Her attentiveness and manners was a breath of fresh air. She was very helpful and my child who doesn't like anyone was even fond of her. After that visit I will definitely be back, not only for the food but to definitely request AK again!

Went to Bob Evans for the first time while visiting from north of the border. Our server, Destiny, was such a sweetheart. The food was good, and they were on top of refills and general service. We enjoyed ourselves, would revisit :) Thanks.

Nice place to grab some grub. Service is a bit slow and remember to ask for a extra napkin. Other then that its a great place to enjoy comfort food.

My steak tips were rubbery and the carrots looked sketchy. The atmosphere was chaotic at best. The cleanliness was much below the standards I've seen in most Bob Evans restaurants. The bathroom was terrible. The crew seemed terribly short-staffed, stressed, and even irritable. Will be glad to get back to the Bob Evans in my area.

Stopped in here for a wonderful breakfast. The girls were overworked and incredibly understaffed but that did not stop them from doing their best to provide wonderful service and great food. Loved it. Hope these ladies get the recognition they deserve!

No one in the kitchen wears hair nets. Most the cooks have long hair or beards. I found a 6 inch black wirey hair in omelette. It was completely repulsive and this branch does not follow health code standards and no one seems to give a crap.

I wake up before the rest of the family and have made it a tradition to scope out donuts and coffee for breakfast. Spotted Jolly Donut almost by accident on the map and am glad I did. The donuts were very fresh and a wide variety of options to choose between. As with good fresh donuts I wouldn’t recommend going for day-olds as they are made to be ate quickly. And honestly, having any left for the next day was not a problem for us.

This place was fantastic. From the reasonably priced and perfectly prepared breakfast options, to the absolutely delicious donuts. I brought my three 10 year olds and the wait staff made it such an awesome experience for them. They even brought over a few donut holes for them to munch on which was all the talk on the drive home. I was so impressed I left an over 50% tip. We go to Sandusky twice a year, I will be spending my mornings at Jolly Donut from now on!

Classic diner atmosphere. Went here for breakfast with the kids. Donuts were amazing. The apple fritters have lots of apple chinks in the filling. Coconut ones were my favorite. Kids loved the sprinkle ones.

This place was packed with locals, which immediately tells you that it's going to be good. Grabbed some donuts and a hot chocolate. The servers were great at selling the many flavors of donuts. I had the maple longjohn, blueberry filled, and the caramel delight (think Girl Scout Samoa cookie). All were great. Nice small-town atmosphere. Worth the stop.

We stopped here after staying at one of the cedar point hotels. He had early access to the park so we needed somewhere that would be open early enough for us to eat. Jolly Donut was a great choice. It's an old school diner/breakfast spot with a large selection of donuts and a table/bar for dine in. Felt nostalgic walking in the door. The prices here were shockingly good. We got 2 breakfast sandwiches, 1 French toast, 2 sides of hash browns, 2 coffees, 1 lemonade, a donut and half a grapefruit for $25 + tip!! Amazing deal. The quality of the food was great, the service was great and it is very conveniently located If your looking for breakfast in the area - whether that's a donut to go or something to dine in - the Jolly Donut is your spot

We stopped by on the first day of our visit. What a selection of donuts for people to enjoy! We couldn't wait to get them home and actually snuck a few bites in the car. Fresh, flavorful and delicious! The staff was so friendly and patient with the time it took to make our selection.

First visit, breakfast on a Saturday at 8:30am. Started getting busy but we was quickly seated. Cute decor and our server was great. My silverware was dirty so we did have to exchange that. I ordered an omelet and spouse ordered peach crepe. Also had a White Russian mimosa it was good. I felt the prices were a bit high and dining room was a little too crunched where you basically are too close to next dining table which makes it hard to even have conversation with your company.

Friendly staff and good service. Even being busy, our wait wasn't too long. The kids loved the outside games while we waited on a table. Our food was OK. Pancakes were great, we would definitely order any of our flavors again. The kids had chocolate chip and the rainbow sprinkles kinds. Adults had Blueberry muffin and cinnamon swirl ones. Delicious! We ordered the cinnamon roll to share, it was just OK. Ours was pretty dark and dry, not sure we would do that again. Coffee menu was impressive. We didn't order a Mimosa, but the whole drink menu sounded great.

Good service, coffee and food. I had the rancher omelet and added pancakes (see photo). For 4 adults and a toddler the price was reasonable. Was definitely worth the 45 minute wait to get a table!

Really clean and nice restaurant. We went Saturday morning, around 7 am, and it had maybe two cars in the lot, so not crowded at all. It started to get a little more crowded, but definitely not crazy, around 8 when we left. The food was delicious and fresh tasting. The portion sizes were good. The staff was friendly and attentive and quick. I'd definitely go back to this place if I'm in the area.

Awesome place with fantastic service and amazing food! Came in on a busy Friday morning and were seated within 25 minutes! Food was served about 20 min after placing our order! I got the Nutella crepes with strawberries…so yummy! I hope to come back one day!

Very cute establishment. Customer service let's start with that AMAZING!! From the person seating us to our waitress Mia. Food: **2 People ordered the America Belgian waffles (Delicious) ** 2 People ordered pancakes eggs and bacon combo. My son said it was one of the best pancakes he have ever had >> That bacon though. Yeah trash... it snapped like a biscuit. Maybe it was an off day but that's how all our bacon were. ** My daughter had the Nutella Crepes.... it was amazing, just wished she did in fact get "fresh" strawberries instead of what ever crumpled of piece that were at the bottom of the condiment container and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. ** I ordered the mimosa of the day (blackberry lemonade) would have been perfect but it was flat. ** My son said the hot chocolate wasn't the best So many small things that could have made this experience a 5/5. Maybe next try!! We also had a 7 person group and gratuity was automatic. I did tip extra because Mia was extremely pleasant. Pointers: Many servers do have long hair and those things get away quickly even when the hair is pulled back. Maybe a hat or hairnet?👌

They weren't busy when we arrived. Waitress seemed like we were an inconvenience to her. Rushed us through the whole order process. Prices were ok. The stuffed French toast was soaking in strawberry water, not glaze. Biscuits and gravy were just ok. Totally could have used some seasonings on the potatoes and eggs. I got more onions than eggs in my dish.

This is a family run place with good food and good prices. Be prepared to spend an hour to get your food. We were there on Sunday morning, most likely wont go back because of the slow service and they weren't overly friendly. .

EDIT: Came back on Saturday at 11 am. Their busiest time. My girlfriend and I were fortunate enough to find seating at the bar right away. Got our coffees and placed our order within 5 minutes. It took over an hour to get our food. I'm am STILL not taking away a star. The ladies were very hospitable, refilled my coffee each time I emptied it, about 4 times while I waited. Most patrons were cool and cucumbers as they waited (the wait is expected on Saturdays). The food was delicious when it did arrive and the portions are so big. Nothing to complain about. Sure, I wish it came quicker, but what can you do when every table and barstool in the establishment is filled. Still marking it as a favorite on my map. From Thursday: What an amazing establishment. The breakfast rocked, and the prices were so good. I had the omelette special (Bratwurst & Cheese) with potatoes inside the omelette. That was delicious! My girlfriend ordered the mushroom omelette and that tasted wonderful. She ordered a side of French toast and some bacon, and it was like a third meal we shared. Awesome establishment, and the service was great. My coffee and water never emptied. Wonderful people.

Nice but little dinner. Only 1 waitress working and probably only 1 cook. Place was packed on a Sunday morning in June. Lots of people came and left when told it would be an hour wait. Took 45 minutes for food to come - very large portions - food was excellent and the price was even better.

Hometown locals best kept secret been going here over 25 years! So believe me when I say this place is in EVERYONE BUGET, never had bad food or service, the specials and entire menu CAN NOT be beat. You really get more than what you pay for. Big Mans Breakfast includes 3 eggs, hashbrowns, toast, 7 Pcs of bacon, and 2 sausage patties! Warning: You may have to wait a little longer for your food, but it's worth the wait! You're getting five star food at a 2 star price!!!

My family and I visited on July 5 2025 even tho our resort sold breakfast and all you can eat buffet too us it wasnt very affordable so we decided to look at other places around our area and found what is called Diana's very busy very pleasant place kept up with the customers. food was fresh hot ready made..it was plenty and very delicious wonderful for the price and the amount also they gave plenty of choices between meat potatoes eggs and In between wanted to go back before we left so I'm not going to say goodbye but just see you later!

WOW! What a gem of a place. Absolutely awesome home cooked style meals. Unbelievable prices and super generous helpings. This is one of those places that looks unassuming both outside and in but the food is perfect. We went for breakfast on the recommendation of our hotel staff. If you’re looking for the best home cooked meal in town, this is the place.

Placed a catering order for delivery between 11 and 11:15 am. Called at 1130 and inquired where the order was. They said it was just now leaving the restaurant and it would be there in 20-30 minutes. I call back in at 1210 and say that the order is still not where at which time im told that the order was just now leaving the restaurant (again). The lady proceeds to be rude and say we are doing the best we can and we estimate things as best as we can after having been caught in a lie that the order had left the restaurant after the first call. I do 3 to 4 catering orders a week and have typically avoided Panera and this lends credence as to why.

When I arrived at 630 at night parking lot and everything very dim lit. When walking in floors freshly mopped with no wet floor signs out. Defiantly a trip hazard. The fireplace is very dirty the glass needs cleaned and serviced so you can even see the fire. I recommend Gilbert heating out of Sandusky for fireplaces. The food I ordered was alright the the hot sandwich I ordered was the bbq chicken. Chicken was barely luke warm.

Food was good, but ordered 3 full sandwiches and 2 were significantly smaller. Asked the employee if they were half sandwiches, definitely much smaller than we’ve gotten at other Paneras.

Excellent family style diner. We stopped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Great value, diverse menu, and awesome service. Our hearty helpings were delivered hot, fresh, and FAST. The owner took time to answer our questions, and tell us a bit about her 17 year history at this location. We will be back.

Food was ok. Water smells exactly like the lake and tastes like it too. Place is under construction. Still says Moe's place over the door. The restroom has no label. Nee was very nice though.

This place is hard to rate. It's a diner. Comfort food. The food tastes as good as you need it to. Really think about that. If you're really hungry, or have been drinking, or have worked up a taste for unseasoned potatoes... Then the food is amazing. If you just need food and think.. hmm.. that diner doesn't look too bad. It's not going to be a great meal. Not bad. But nothing special. It looks, smells, and tastes exactly as you would expect such a meal to be. Which is a good thing. You want more flavor? Add hot sauce. Don't blame a diner. Plus it's inexpensive. Just order more food and hope for the best.

Went here with the family. Only table big enough for us 5 was in the back side room. Waited exceptionally long to get drinks and for someone to take our orders. Food was OK, nothing special and nothing I’d order again. 3 got breakfast, one got a burger with fries and I got a gyro and fries. The burger was good and so were the breakfasts but the gyro? Nope. Flimsy bit of meat, scant tomato and onion on a seemingly stale pita with some sauce on it. No cucumbers but OK, I pulled meat and tomato and onion off the bread and just ate that. Good thing I wasn’t that hungry, but for 9$? No. Lesson learned. I should have gone with something else for sure. Maybe next time…

I drove by there every day on my way to work and saw this cute little place. It's really nice inside with beach themes and light houses. My host was pleasant. I had Steak and Eggs that came with potato and toast. I got coffee which was freshly brewed and good. Total price $17.81 and for all that not a bad price. You get a good size portion for your money. Another perfect find. Go check out this great place.

We sat at the bar to enjoy our brunch before heading to Cedar Point for the day. This little diner has that tiny hometown feel too it. People walked in and were greeted by name. They are accommodating to food allergies and restrictions. Friendly. Oh, so much fun too. Menu has a good variety at extremely fair prices. The mother daughter team was beyond amazing. Daughte is home in leave and helping mom out at the shop. Simply wonderful . We will be making this a regular stop any time we head that way again. Thank you both for making these 2 out-of-towners feel so welcomed.

I see some hit and miss reviews here, but my experience was amazing . First off, it was labor day, so I was worried about the hours but they were open and ready for business! Staff was friendly and efficient. I actually had the first drink from my order in my hand before I finished my order. That is saying something for the crew working this day . I have had so many bad experiences with Dunkin in my home area it was truly refreshing to see a together establishment. We had 3 people's orders and our food arrived quickly. It was on par with what I expected. Kudos to the folks working so hard in a holiday.

How can Dunkin be the MOST inconsistent when making coffee? An iced vanilla coffee with cream and sugar and I guess ZERO ice?? It’s all milk and sugar. Literally NO coffee! You all HAVE to find a way to make coffee consistently - for real! Waste of money. AGAIN. Just paid $4 for sweet milk. Awesome. The service was fine. Girl was friendly. That’s it!

I like this location, it's convenient. Most of the employees are very polite. The coffee is always good. I suggest the Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher!

Ordered the croissant meal with hashbrowns for $6. They rang it all up separately so ended up being $9. Ordered 4 egg ham and cheese wraps. Only got egg and cheese. Told them about this and they said the receipt says egg and cheese. I was also missing the chocolate milks I ordered so I didn’t want to argue with them anymore about the thier mistakes THAT I PAID FOR after waiting 10 minutes in the drive thru.

We ordered on the app on our way to the store, and the app warned us that the store was busier than usual and we might have a longer wait. I was amazed when our order came out moments after we arrived. Our order was perfect and my iced coffee was 🤌💋

They took the order correctly enough, and were very friendly, but then the person that made my sandwich decided they didn't like my modification. I guess.

Went through the drive thru and paid $20 for 3 ice cream cones and 3 drinks. When I tried to clarify the price at the window because I thought I wasn’t hearing her right she shouted at me, “the drinks are 3.50 each!” My brain was not processing that this McDonald’s could be twice as expensive as the McDonald’s where we are from. Don’t go here, you’re better off driving to a gas station or anywhere else.

This is a terrible McDonald's. Doesn't matter how I rate this place, people will still go because it's McDonald's. I ordered my breakfast on the app. I left my hotel and went to the drive thru. It was backed up. Like 10 cars. I decided to go inside to pick it up instead. I waited at the counter for somebody to talk to and everybody just kept walking by. I finally called somebody over and they spoke almost no English. I had to spend several minutes explaining what i wanted to do. She finally understood what i wanted and said wait. She cane back 5 minutes later with a receipt. I said I still needed my food. Somebody else said it wasn't ready. This is easily 20 minutes after I ordered my food on the app. 10 minutes later my food was given to me. I'm not sure why this McDonald's is so inefficient but I definitely would not go to it again.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. What a terrible place, service is not kind and so slow even when there’s nobody there. The prices are DOUBLE of what you normally pay at a normal McDonald’s. Food is so bad, fries were cold and without salt, cheeseburgers were cold and buns were stale. I can’t believe this place is still running after so many bad reviews about the same stuff. I have never written a bad review about any other place, but this one was truly so disappointing and terrible that I had too. Literally such a waste of money and time, especially after coming out of Cedar Point. TERRIBLE!

I ordered the deluxe special edition gold mccrispy menu (more words than ingredients) I received a bun with a piece of chicken without sauce without salad without bacon, I politely told the older lady with strabismus about my problem and her next action was to give me 3 pieces of cold and rancid bacon instead of giving me another burger with all the ingredients as it would have been normal. After that I ordered some sauces on the electronic tablet 2 times because I forgot to do this on the initial order and no one made me the subsequent order with the sauces, then I decided to go to the kiosk to ask for the sauces that were free on the electronic tablet where I waited 5 minutes until the same lady came who asked me for 25 cents for each sauce.l The most horrible experience. The old woman with the squint is the most respectful employee I've ever seen at a fast food restaurant.

This place is a money grab!! Items are double the price of any other location food sizes seems smaller than other McDonald's and $3.50 for a large drink and they do NOT offer any refills. What an absolute joke!! The only positive from this visit was the bogo sandwich offer on the app!! Staff is anything but friendly do your self a favor and visit somewhere else!!

The prices are double what you pay at a normal McDonald's. Asked for a half sweet tea and a unsweet tea but received two unsweet teas. There was no salt on the fries. We were the only ones there and it still took a long time to receive our drinks and deserts.

Ordered only fries on the app, got there ten minutes later, they weren’t ready so I stood there for 5 more minutes and finally said something. She said she didn’t see it because it’s on a different screen. ??? So approximately 20 min after ordering a medium fry, we got it. This place is an absolute gem. Trying to find food in the area that doesn't cost an arm and a leg is difficult, but the diners are the way to go. This particular diner is small, but comfortable. Service is very friendly, and the food is outstanding and affordable! The portions are perfect and a little on the larger side. Substitutions are reasonably priced. I will absolutely be back here when I'm in the area again!

My family and I ate breakfast there this morning. We're from Detroit. I found this restaurant while searching for places to dine. I must admit, that Depot Family Restaurant exceeded our expectations. We were very happy with our menu choices, and I have to give a big shout-out to our Waitress Ally, who was super amazing, and very polite to us. If anyone living or planning to visit Sandusky Ohio, I sincerely recommend this restaurant.

I used to come here all the time as a kid and recently started coming here every Sunday. Food is amazing. Staff is super friendly. Prices are great. It's gotten to the point the staff remembers me and my order whenever I come in. Definitely a wonderful dining experience for a nice breakfast.

It's an Old neighborhood restaurant experience, haven't been there in a little while I just actually drove by there. I can tell you though we used to eat there a couple times a week, lunchtime mostly from work. The portions were always very good and the service was great. The day I did drive by there though the parking lot was slam packed full, so something goods got to be going on.

Truthfully we had a terrible experience about 2 years, and hadn't been back. Reason was they charged everything al acarte. This time charging was correct, we'll go back.

We recieved all of the correct items but I've never seen them put together so terribly. We got 2 grilled cheese burritos. 1 regular, 1 with steak (photo is of the steak). Both of ours had the meat only in half of the burrito. My tortilla was completly torn and barely held together by the cheese on the outside specifically had the first half was dry and only had the red strips and the last half was everything else. Fast food isn't cheap anymore and I expected the ingredients to at least be somewhat spread out. Also didn't get our receipt either so no other way to give a review since we don't even have an order number.

We went through the drive through and they said we could not make two orders for the same vehicle so we pulled around and went in. There was no customers inside and one car in the drive through. After waiting to be helped for a min one of the team members told us to use the kiosk to order. It took us 3 min to order 2 tacos and two drinks! Really annoying! This food better be good.

Worst Taco Bell food prep I have ever experienced in my 40+ years. My family ordered seven Tacos, and each Taco had maybe .3 or .5 ounce of meat. I couldn't taste anything else on it. Ridiculous to say the least. The experienced killed me after a full day of enjoying Cedar Point. We wanted to get something fast and choose TB. What a mistake. Don't waste time and money on this location. The manager must be terrible permitting that low of quality food go out the door. If you are at Cedar Point and need fast food after go to the McDonald's closest to the park. We have been there several times and the food is like the advertisements. Avoid this TB like the plague.

Service was great. Got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. That should have been a huge red flag! considering the lobby was full and the drive thru was getting there. Received my food and my cantina chicken tacos were a joke. The shells were supposed to be smothered in MELTED cheese. They were covered in cheese, but it wasn't even melted. Not even warm! And the amount of filling in the tacos was an even bigger joke! Had two small pieces of chicken in one shell with no sauce and barely minimum cheese. And the cinnamon twists tasted like Christmas!! No sugar, just straight cinnamon! After a long day at cedar point, I do not recommend this taco bell!

If there were an option for zero stars, this Taco Bell would’ve earned it ten times over. The employees here seem to treat their job like a game—except the goal is to see just how badly they can screw up your order every single time. It’s not even an accident at this point; it feels deliberate. Missing items? Check. Cold food? Check. Wrong ingredients despite being repeated three times? Every single visit. This place isn’t just bad. It’s actively hostile to the idea of customer service. Save yourself the frustration and take your appetite anywhere else.

The absolute worst taco bell in the area. Ordered a 12 pack taco box and not only did they mess up the entire order, they had the worst attitude about having to fix what they did wrong. The best part was when I got the correct contents of my order, they put the least amount of meat I’ve ever seen out of pure pettiness. Horrible horrible customer service!!

I went thru the drive thru peak time 6 cars in front of me… 2 mins I was at the speaker order my meals and 1 min I was at the window food ready and correct. Not sure who your staff was on 9-20-24 at 11 o’clock but you seriously need to give these people a raise !!!! Stood in li e for five minutes then the manager comes out and says we are not taking orders at the register. Needless to say I walked out pissed and without any food. Lock the fro t door if you are under staffed.

Great location. Right off OH 2 and across the campgrounds. Very easy to get to, hardly any traffic. I personally don't care much for McDonald's, but the convenience here makes up.

They have kiosks in the front of the restaurant where you place your order and then have your food delivered to your table. Pretty cool. Not much interaction with employees if you need anything. And it took awhile for them to bring out the food. Still good, fresh

Another 3-star review that would have easily been a 5 had there been attentiveness to the dining room and cleanliness. In the 15-20 minutes we spent in the restaurant, there was a table with a previous guests' trash and dirty drink station. I watched as multiple team members walked right past each issue without correcting it. It would have literally taken 30 seconds to pick up the trash and wipe down each area. The staff was friendly and the food was quality, but please address cleanliness.

We waited 15 min for 3 orders of nuggets and 2 sandwiches. But the filet of fish was hilarious

Literally waited half an hour for 2 mcchickens when I ordered ahead. They weren't even busy and had all 3 people in the drive thru pull into the spots only for the 2 people who ordered after me to get their food first. Highly disorganized, i recommend going to a different location.

Store was clean customer service was good and the cookies baked in house were even better! Tried both the Mac n cheese bowl and mash potato bowl both were better than expected. If there out just ask them to make you a fresh bowl

During my travels, I stopped at Friendship Kitchen needing a quick snack, some refreshments, and a restroom break. Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The parking lot was immediately off-putting—papers and cigarette butts were scattered across the ground, and it clearly could have used a good sweeping. Once inside, the floor felt sticky underfoot, which I initially attributed to rain but still left a poor first impression. The restroom was a serious concern. The floors were muddy, the toilet seat wet and covered with what appeared to be urine, and the walls and doors were streaked with marks and grime. The sink was also unclean, and the paper towel dispenser was difficult to use, only dispensing small shreds at a time. While I did manage to wash my hands, it was hardly a sanitary experience. Customer service left much to be desired as well. Another patron asked the attendant about a machine, but she refused to assist, citing her own task list as more important than his needs. The coffee area offered little relief. Most machines were out of beans, only two coffee options remained, and there were no stirrers. Only small and extra-large cups were available. Creamer and sugar were nearly out, requiring me to dig through cabinets to find enough to make my coffee drinkable. The counter was a mess—papers, wrappers, spilled coffee, and sticky sugar everywhere. As for the kitchen, the hallmark of a “Friendship Kitchen” location, it was completely shut down. When I inquired, the attendant explained she didn’t have time to run it. The result was essentially a non-existent kitchen and very minimal snack options, especially for those with dietary restrictions like vegan or dairy-free diets. Ultimately, I purchased a single cup of coffee and left. While I appreciated having a restroom available, the overall experience—rude staff, unacceptable cleanliness, and lack of available food—was terrible. I will not be returning to any Friendship Kitchen in the future.

The Cashier that wrung up my order was EXTREMELY Rude when I didn’t help her expose a bar tag for her to scan, then proceeded to give me a lecture on how we need to treat each other better. This is absolutely not acceptable and she needs to either be reprimanded or replaced.

Not very friendly for a "Friendship" kitchen. I was leaving through the door closer to my car, which said, "Thanks" on it, yet the employee yelled at me and someone else who came in as I was about to leave. The door had no signs saying to use the other door. If you don't want people to use a door, make a sign, don't yell. Only come here if you have a diesel car, as their diesel prices are cheaper than unleaded.

To the lady behind the food counter who helped consoul/distract my crying child when I was traveling from out of town with my two young kids. Thank you thank you thank you!! Your empathy and compassion are greatly appreciated. Any time we're in town, we will be stopping here! The food selection is wonderful on top of superior staff!

i love stopping here on my way home from cedar point. the staff are very friendly, and the restrooms and convenience store itself are always very clean! there is even a self checkout, which is always a plus. i can’t wait to come back when i find myself in sandusky again!

Every time I order here, something is wrong. Either the drink is completely off (last time they didn’t put 3 pumps of mocha in, they put 3 pumps of cream in and it tasted like I was drinking straight milk) , they don’t give me the right items, or they just don’t give me items at all. I’m done paying for things that I’m not even getting. Employees that I’ve met aren’t horrible but customer service could be better. Do better.

Ordered 5 breakfast sandwiches, but they only gave us 3. Originally, they didn't even know we had any sandwiches and so just gave us a donut and coffee. Waited over 25 minutes afterwards to get what we paid for but they couldn't keep up with the rush. Needs better management. Guys eating there sandwiches and donuts with the trash can as their table provided some gross entertainment too

The same cashier, 2 days in a row, didn’t put in my military discount before scanning my app even though after I asked for it! Her excuse was, “I didn’t know you were paying with your app!” I didn’t worry about it yesterday but today it just made me mad! Then she had the audacity to talk to another employee, with a smirk on her face, about me because I said to her “that’s why I asked for the discount!” Piss poor customer service right in front of customers. Then everyone else was served after us before we got our order! Did I mention, she put in the wrong bagel? It was supposed to be an everything bagel toasted and plain! What I got was a plain bagel with cream cheese. They did remake it, but what I got was a plain bagel with butter! They also forgot our donuts that was supposed to be on our order! Another cashier also took care of the donut and ended up being us 2 because they screwed up! We literally waited 22 minutes for our order!!! Will not return to this Dunkin…. The attitude of that associate is just awful!!!!

Its 1:53pm 3 employees are outside smoking and told me they just got rid of the "last chocolate sprinkle doughnut" they had. As I pass by them they laughing. I hope they heard my son screaming and crying because he couldn't get his "Saturday doughnut". Also the very first time I came to this dunkin I ordered a double shot of expresso and it was cold so for that reason I wasn't even gonna order my coffee. Very shitty employees yal got working here.

It wasn't even 8:00 in the morning and they were already out of a lot of product. They weren't able to accommodate sugar free drinks they were also out of bacon and a lot of other products. The staff seemed very overworked and it was quite chaos inside.

Amazing food! Totally gluten free so perfect for those with celiacs but honestly if you’d told me it was normal bread/tortilla I wouldn’t have even doubted it! Cold brew and smoothies were really good as well and the prices were good especially for gluten free, and the general atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. We were also able to order an old special they had that was on the website but not the main board really easy with no hassle. All in all a great place!

I visited the Maca Root Juice Bar and Eatery in Sandusky this month, and I absolutely loved it! As a dedicated gluten-free spot, it was a treasure trove of delicious and safe options for someone like me. I found so many yummy treats that it was hard to choose just a few. It's so refreshing to find a place that caters to dietary needs without compromising on variety or flavor. Whether you're gluten-free or just looking to try some healthy, tasty options, Maca Root Juice Bar and Eatery is definitely worth a visit!

I’ve been a long time customer, and what I recently realized about this place is the terrible quality of ingredients, incredibly small portions and outrageous prices. Their burrito, which is the size of a small hand, like can be finished in 2 bites small, was just raised from $11 to $12. Which honestly I thought was fine because I thought they used quality ingredients when in fact I was able to see they use Kroger brand cheese beans corn etc. NOT ORGANIC. if they were organic and quality that would maybe justify the price and size but no. All the sandwiches and toasts are literally so tiny you can eat them in 1 bite and they charge SO MUCH! Without even using quality organic ingredients to justify it!!! Shame!! I thought they at least used organic fruits and stuff but no, everything is just covered in glyphosate. Not health conscious at all. And incredibly expensive. VERY Disappointing. The “health” of this place is just an illusion. Absolutely unfair prices and terrible quality

My wife and I needed some freshly squeezed juices to combat the atrocities we had committed to our bodies during our stay in Sandusky. We found this gem and went down to give it a try. Upon arrival the staff told us their juicer was down. As I teetered on the verge of having an immature Karen style breakdown, the sweet girls behind the counter gave us a bunch of recommendations. I am so unbelievably happy we ended up here. Beautiful space, delicious food, great staff. 10/10.

Put a mobile order in before I pulled up. As I was pulling in I got the notification saying my food was ready. Explain to me when I then had to wait 30 minutes for 1 bacon egg and cheese bagel and a hash brown. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. Also my food was cold when they FINALLY gave it to me even though they said they were waiting on it being made.

Atrocious. So rude and disrespectful as others have indicated. Worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. I had my family with me after Cedar Point heading out. Ordered at the drive through. Teenager was polite but did not give us a receipt, but we had the order number on the food. They missed a cheeseburger on our order. No big deal. My son walks up to dining room with order slip and explains the issue. The woman claiming to be a manager tells him he can’t have another one. My son exits to obtain my assistance at the outside dining table. I walk back to dining and the “manager” woman (black female) has now locked the door. Finally she comes out, I explain the situation and she’s tells me I “need to go to the drive through and pay for a new one”. I said they messed up our order we saw it in the digital drive through and the boy repeated it to us verbally, she said I must not have read it. I said are you accusing me of messing the order up? It’s a $2 hamburger, you guys messed up, can we please get the burger we ordered. She says no. I say your not even going to apologize? She says, “hell no, I “Axed” you if you read the order screen” which made no sense what so ever. A minute later a more articulate “manager” comes out claiming to be a “co manager” and apologizes and tells us to go buy another one. Unreal. I said, you think I’m trying to steal a $2 hamburger while I drive up in my $65k truck? Anyhow, the idiocy of “co-manager” employees was humorously explained in their well kept (sarcastic), welcome McDonald’s sign. 😂See picture. And stay away. It was a filthy dilapidated property as well. Ray Croc is rolling in his grave at this location’s miserable representation of the McDonalds brand. For upper McDonalds management, this occurred September 6, 2021 at 6:15pm. Your records will indicate who the women claiming to be “co-managers” were. The level of professionalism and lack of training lead me to believe they were not managers and have not been to Hamburger University oakbrook. P.S. you owe me a cheeseburger 🍔 I paid for.

I paid for my order and both of my burgers had sauce on it. Before i could confirm my order, the cashier handing me my order gave me a burger with alittle sauce on it and the other was with no sauce. And my fried had no salt on em. This location sucks. I asked for water and the staff started calling me broke.

fries are always unsalted because a worker doesn't like them salted. if the order doesn't say unsalted fries, PUT SALT ON THE GOD DAMN FRIES

The smoothies are great and taste good! I usually get the chipotle club wrap with my smoothie, but i found 3 strands of blackish brown hair in my wrap, I have blonde hair so it wasnt mine. They just kept coming out after the first, and wasnt to pleased to find someone elses hair in my food... I also noticed their wasnt any hair nets worn by the person making my food which would explain why I found hair in my food.

Sooo excited they have this place now In Sandusky 🥰 🥳 one of my favorites go to places after the gym .. they have such a great smoothies 😋 the staff is very friendly as well.

Felt very unwelcome upon entering, two girls were working and we came in an hour before closed and she said that’s what we get for closing early and the other girl said more people need to take their receipts cause I don’t want them. Like the smoothie was fine but having those conversations in front of guests is rude.

I was deceived about how “healthy” this place is. Guys, they use an ice cream scoop worth of Tornedo (sugar) in their 24oz smoothies… it’s like 200g of sugar in a 24oz smoothie… and if you order without the turbonado the smoothies taste like crpp. Also newer employees make the store definitely less comfortable compared to other employees.

Had a great experience yesterday. It look a little while to get my food and smoothie order because they were slammed which was totally fine with me! The owner noticed I was waiting for a bit and gave me a coupon for a free smoothie! Awesome customer service. The smoothies and food were delicious too! Will be returning again. 😊

Longtime fan of Tropical Smoothie. So happy they opened one in Sandusky! Everyone seem nice and friendly *update - customer service has gone down since opening . Lucky if they even greet you when you enter the store . Went this morning , store empty and cashier was in the kitchen area but saw me entered…crickets. I said “hello” .. she peeked and looked at me then went back to what she was doing before coming to the register. Again she did not open her mouth to form 2 words until I asked “do you talk?” . Customer service everywhere sucks now but when TS first open here they were great, now multiple staff changes and no customer service .
