We went there for lunch and had a great time. The taproom and store was really clean and modern. It was a hot day so they opened up all the windows and even set up some portable fans to make it cooler. The store, with beer and merchandise is great. We ate the vegan burger and loved it! Mustard and pickles were in full focus and we loved the selection of six different sauces! The menu suggests which beer works well with the food and I ordered my beer based on that. Great choice - a pale ale worked all in the heat. Unfortunately despite lots of staff seemingly working the service was slow and there was only one person working behind the bar for the first 30 minutes despite people waiting around. When service got going it was much better. The waiter staff helped us with our four year old’s food request and they were nice enough. Definitely worth a visit. Great food, great beer and great atmosphere.

This spot offered an excellent beer tasting experience with a wide variety of choices. I enjoyed sampling a great selection of brews, each with its own distinct flavor profile. To accompany the drinks, there was a hearty and flavorful sausage—robust and satisfying. The only downside was that it leaned toward the pricier side, but overall, it was a solid and memorable experience for beer lovers.

Fantastic beers and impressive food to go with it. If your a keen craft beer drinker and find yourself wandering around Tallinn you must drop by. Especially if the suns out a have a beer on their balcony.

1 | If you enjoy tasting different kinds of beer or want to try something local, Pohjala Brewery is a great place to visit. It’s the taproom of the Põhjala brewery, and they have 24 beers on tap, mostly their own. 2 | All beers are listed on the screens at the bar, where you also place your order. A 0.4-liter beer costs €5–8 depending on the type. I personally recommend the mandarin IPA Põhjala Mandarina and the mango sour ale — I really liked both. You can also try more unusual beers, such as a chocolate porter or a beer brewed with added birch. 3 | The interior is very cozy. Time passes quickly here and it’s a comfortable place to sit. The taproom is located on the second floor, giving you a view from above of the area where the beer is brewed. 4 | You can order various kinds of food to go with your beer. We had homemade fries, which I found quite overpriced, but they were good in terms of taste.

Had a fantastic lunch here with the family. Had a tasting paddle and every beer was absolutely fantastic, the red lager and red ale were standouts. They have a smoker on site for delicious smoked meats and all the food was delicious. Great friendly atmosphere and staff were great.

If you’re in Tallinn, I highly recommend heading to Põhjala Brewery & Tap Room to taste some great beer. Fast service at the taps and not too expensive is a plus. When I was here, there were 24 different beers to try.

We had really good time here! The food was good and I did enjoy especially the brisket and ribs from the grill. Of course the beers are excellent and there are plenty of different options. Only thing I was missing was some passion from the staff and some sparkling in their eyes- like the taproom is something you should be proud of! I felt the service was a bit lazy, we didnt got any recommendations even after asking.

Very good selection of craft beers both locally and internationally. It is separated into two different departments, one for can/bottle-shop and further in the alley the entrance to the pub. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Our favourite bar in Tallinn. Cosy and warm but tricky to find. Great atmosphere even when it's quiet. We went back several times during our short visit and had some great beers. Beautifully crafted beers from Amager, Denmark and local craft breweries. Not a huge range on draft but all were very good. Plus there's a big fridge full of amazing beers. Oh and a bottle shop where you can purchase (and I assume drink) loads of beers. Food can be ordered from the pizza place next door and the owner will deliver them when ready. That was delicious too. Limited English spoken so why not try a bit of Estonian. I managed to get some smile when I tried ;-). Great music; old and recent Rock.

If you like craft beer this is the best bar in Tallin. It's a bottleshop at the front, bar around the back. Staff are great. Beer seletion is simply nuts. Hundreds. I think 600 or something. Atmosphere is very chilled and friendly. Not a busy place and don't expect fancy cocktails. But damn it is good beer bar and bottleshop. Go there.

Great bottle selection and service. Stopped in for a couple Baltic porters. While I was drinking my first, the beertender heads to the cellar and comes back with a dozen other options. Amazing. I select a couple and she chills them just a little (already cellar temp) so they’ll be perfect when I want them. Prices are good for what you are getting (my three local craft beers averaged 6€). They don’t make food, but there is a sign about ordering pizza from the Italian spot next door.

This place has nearly 1000 different beers from around the world to try with 14 or so on tap. You can get flights of up to 5. Friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. Some good rock music was playing on the radio at a reasonable volume. I highly recommend.

Interesting bar and a good place to sit down for a bit. Only - is that last time I waited for 10 minutes to order something and they just walked past me all the time (this didn't happen the time before that, so I think it was an exception). Would recommend going here for a beer and then go bar hoping.

I don't know if this is the best bar in Tallinn... but it must be close. Great selection of beers - I had a tasty English Mild for just €5 and it was tasty. The vibe is excellent and the cosy chairs and decor are very comfortable. The place is just off the street down a side alley so easy to walk by without realising there is a pub here. background music was mostly hard rock which seemed to fit the vibe. highly recommended Terviseks!

I ate the chicken filet with mashed potatoes and broccoli, it was delicious ! The sauce had very mushrooms in it and the fillet was perfectly cooked. They have a huge menu for beers, so if you are a beer lover you won't be deceived. I personally took the witbir from the place itself and it was delicious. Price are on the average of Tallin and the food is above average 😊 The ambiance was great. Even for just a drink, I recommend this place.

This place has a really wide selection of beers, there is a number of pages dedicated to bottled beers and a number on tap as well. And it tastes good! Since it is in the town centre it is also quite touristy, especially in the in-out kind of way. The meals were delicious here and especially the garlic bread starter tasted good. The place itself has a unique vibe. The waitress was nice and actually recommended the starter to us.

Loved this place. Quite tucked away and I the basement. Service is quick and friendly. They have an enormous selection of beers (took ages to choose) and delicious salmon soup that comes with bread, and a vana tallinn liqueur laced plum ice cream. Highly recommend!

Great cellar bar with a pub type feel and medieval vibe. We came for the beer and enjoyed a gose and a sour. Had an extensive beer menu which was really nice.

I've always had good time here. The food is great and the beer selection is crazy. Friendly and decently quick service even when the place is full. Nicely priced. Only thing to watch out are the very steep stairs. :)

Not just a bar in a crypt. The sevice was attentive the food was beautifully cooked, flavoured and presented. The waitress knew everything about the vast selection of beers from far and wide. My favourite and not expensive for the old town. I fell in love with everything about Porgu

Nice place with a great atmosphere. They have their own beers on tap and they were great. I had a couple lagars and my wife had a couple IPAs. Both were exceptional. We just had snacks... so we didn't have the full menu experience... but the garlic sticks and the pork dumplings were both great! The service was was quick and friendly. We really enjoyed this place. You should give it a try.

The oldest Pub in Tallinn - since 1993. Not the cosiest atmosphere, many tables in basically one big room, without any nooks and crannies. Food is ok for a regular Pub - the portions are on the small side, but quality and taste are good. The house beer, on the other hand, is quite remarkable. I had the dark type, which could be compared to Guinness - although I find it a bit more tasty.

Once of the best Guinness pints you can get in the city. Staff is really nice and the food is surprisingly good. If you have some spare time, do yourself a favor and come here. You're welcome.

Visited Hell Hunt in Tallinn and was very impressed. The service was outstanding – it took only a few seconds after my beer was empty before I was asked if I wanted a refill. The staff were friendly, attentive, and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the great selection of both drinks and food. The menu offered something for everyone, and the quality was excellent. Highly recommended for a relaxed evening with good food, great drinks, and top-notch service.

Old school but fun beer bar that's well worth a look. Good house beers complimented by three taps from local craft breweries and a substantial bottle list. Feels like more of a winter place, as it's got a dark German beer hall sort of vibe!

Can't really say much about food as we didn't have any dishes - but the atmosphere and flair within the bar was pretty inviting. Their beer is good, but nothing to write home about and the service is professional, though nothing overly spectacular. All in all probably worth a visit, but there are better options available within a few hundred meters.

We arrived a little after 8PM on a Tuesday, the kitchen was closing but they were nice enough to squeeze us in for a meal. The crispy chicken sandwich was extremely good, as were the prawns for a snack/appetizer. Really great selection of beer and our waitress was very hospitable. Will definitely return next time we're in Tallinn!

What a great eating experience. The service was excellent and the food just delicious. I especially enjoyed the craft beer. Away from all the tourist restaurants in town, this was filled with locals.

Had the Anchor Bar Chicken Wings. Supposedly the same as Buffalo NY. They were excellent. Blue Cheese mid. Onion rings delicious Summer IPA was good as well as the Hell Hunt Cider

Pleasant. Airy. Friendly. Humalakoda pub also delivers on excellent service and pretty good beer. As an incorrigible hophead, I found the IPA side of the spectrum a bit thin compared to the bigger IPAs you'd find on the North American north West coast. That said, they offer a reasonably wide variety of craft beers. Seated at the bar, we chatted up the bartender and got a selection that suited our preferences. The most memorable aspect was however the food. The garlic bread is out of this world. It's Estonian rye bread cut into squat, broad strips for easy dipping in the yogurt and chives dip. Following the recommendation from previous reviewers, I opted for the Cheesesteak and I do not regret it. Cooked just right and served with a semi-spicy chili mayo, it was the perfect partner to my imposing Steenbrugge Blonde. Well worth a visit to get a taste of the Tallinn gastropub scene.

First and only place in Estonia asked for TIPS, usual tourist trap anyway with rude/no service, etc, so just avoid. What you see on picture is 40EUR. For 2 burgers and a beer

My good friend came to the city and we decided to have there some food and couple of beers. Since i have been there before many times, i know its a good place for that. They have a decent menu for food and lots of different beers, included theyre own brewery. Theres big sitting area inside and a nice terrace outside. This time i had a cheesesteak with fries. I did mention that i cant eat onion but it still came with onions and i instantly told the staff. The girl was really sorry and went to the kitchen to fix it. Ofc they made me the new one and it was really good and worth waiting. Things happen but important thing is how do they fix it. Its a really nice place in Balti Jaam, go and have a good time there.

Very friendly service staff! Food is quite good. Quality vs price is a little questionable for me (but I am sure there are many people for whom it is perfectly matching). Location is very good. Close to the train station and the city center. You can easily get there by public transport, by car and on foot. Atmosphere is good to. It is spacey place, where you are not necessarily sitting next to your table neighbors. I like the terrace.

Nice pub situated at the hip area called Teleskivi, inside an old industrial warehouse with high ceilings. Plants are placed here and there with the glow of the odd red neon light giving this place a warm feel to help relax and prepare you for some nice beers and social conversation. They have a vast collection of drinks to choose from too. However I'm not a beer snob, so I usually go for the main house beer on tap and if it proves pleasing I'll stick to it. This time it was called Anderson's and it went down well. I will need to return some day to get a regular view as there was an important football tournament on tv this time (Euros on the big screen!). But on this occasion it was a nice place to spend an hour or two.

Beer lovers rejoice, Pudel serves a fantastic selection of craft beers in the heart of Telliskivi. Open late. Trendy but without pretense, so you'll meet the in crowd here. Would definitely recommend any night of the week.

Loved Vaat Brewery and Taproom! It's small and super cozy. The people working there are really friendly, too. And they've got board games! Made it even more fun to chill and hang out.

Very nice staff, cosy setting and excellent beers! A must visit if you are into crafts. There is also a chess board if you have that passion. They serve their own beers on tap and a selection of bottled beers.

Every single beer here is brilliant! They only have a few taps but each beer - whether their own or a few from another brewery - is better than anything else in Tallinn. Every molecule of every sip is bursting with flavour. Jovial staff, might be keen for a chat, and if you’re lucky you could get a private tour of the brewery.

Great brews and the right vibe . Complete with a friendly and informative staff and chess games being played on the patio, The kind of brewpub that made brewpubs popular. All that was missing was a cat or dog looking for a snack or a pet. Stop in .

What an amazing place. I went for dinner here with a friend and we both loved every part of it. The restaurant design is fresh and cozy, but the food is something else. We really enjoyed every bit of our meal. The spicy jalapeno poppers with smoked cheese and sour cream was a hot sensation and so refreshingly presented and went perfectly with the wine selected by our waiter. We both love the ploughman’s board for two – cured meat, cheeses, chicken liver pate, olives, grapes and local jam. The best quality meat was coupled with cheese and jam that complemented it perfectly. For main course, I can’t recommend anything more highly than the roasted duck breast with seasonal vegetables, beets and miso sesame glaze. my freind had the marbled Rib-Eye steak with chimichurri sauce and honey-mustard salad; both were sensational. Then there were the desserts. These look great and taste even better. We went for lemongrass mousse, exotic fruit salad, and hazelnut crumble and then the chocolate and goats cheese cake, made with cheese from Kalamatsi farm and sea salt. Once again, we just shared and ate some of both. It really is the only way to get around this amazing menu!

We had nice dinner with ten people and everybody found something to eat including gluten-free, vegans and meet eaters. Good food and price was on the line with other restaurants👌 recommend, but can't give 5 stars for the service and thats why 4 stars ! :)

Great cocktails selection, the homemade apple lemonade is delicious. We had Renee as our waiter, he is friendly and very helpful to our party.

The food was nice, especially "soup of the day" (at a very good price). But the fish and chips was not that good, the fries tasted like they had just been unfrozen and while the fish were good and all, i didn't like the way it was served in a small basket.

Great location with nice view from the outside tables. Beautiful atmosphere inside, delicious food, especially I loved borsch. Prices are ok for the main street and that location. The girl serving us was very friendly and helpful. Some of the girls were not that friendly therefore 4 stars.

Great store where you can satisfy all your estonian beer needs and probably many of your wine needs too (did not try the wines). There is always more interesting beers that I can buy when I visit. Very good service too.

Great selection of beers, ciders, wines and other liqours. I was especially suprised with the selection of craft beers. Even someone picky as me found a lot of good options. The shop fits to the location well since it is surronded by young people, art buildings and great food.

A really nice wine and beer and cider store where is the largest and most different variety of all these beverages you can imagine. Good music and good service. Not too good parking opportunities. Location is excellent for people without car though.

Drinks and service are not bad, but the food completely sucks. The soggy and cold fries are absolutely disgusting, the rest of the food is also 50/50. You can try it yourself, but apparently i had unlucky experience

Seen bad reviews about the food but cannot comment on these but good collection of quality beer and tvey taste fresh from the draft meaning they clean it often like a proper bar should do.

Nice and cosy UK style pub. The only place in Tallinn to get cask ciders. But they offer solid choice of local craft beers and make cocktails as well! Beside pub menue they offer daily meals as well with a reasonable price.

Good selection of beers, friendly service and all around nice place. Extra points for the outdoor seating - granted, it only has three tables, but the surrounding is very nice and old-towney. Basic selection of snacks and foods, special mention to the rye bread snacks with garlic dip, absolutely heavenly.

I love the artistic atmosphere here. It’s so beautiful to see and very rustic blend to Tallin old town. I love the services , and their food portion was a lot with a great price range. They really listened to my 5 years old daughter, even though she broke a glass cup. They were very gentle with us and our order came really fast. I highly recommend her

We didn't actually have any food and were just there to have a few pints BUT the food being served looked great. Beer was top notch. Very nice service. Perfect location in the center of the old city.

Artsy beer spot in Tallinn old town. Unfortunately we couldn't try the found, since it was marathon night and everything got sold out really fast, but we managed to try their big and interesting beer choice. The staff is cool and friendly and they serve you fast. Amazing for a beer in the night.

Perfect place for some beers. Mikkeller and Pöhjala on tap. It’s a Mikkeller pub, so a good place, as expected :)

This pub is another planet in comparison of what we tried so far. Forget the local beers, get Mikkeller. Food is little bit pricey from my POV, burger for 11e and fries 7,5e...this is so so but taste is 100%.

We find this place by accident when walking around the area as tourists and loved it so much that we had to return within a week. The guys behind the counter were very kind, very professional, gave very good recommendations on what to drink. The local ciders are very refreshing and brilliant alternatives for gluten intolerant ppl like my wife. Great and wide options of beers from various countries. We will definitely return here in the future. Thank you guys!

Uba ja Humal — the name may be hard to pronounce after a few drinks, but trust me, it’s worth the effort. This place is a paradise for craft beer lovers and a black hole for your ability to choose just one drink — the tap list is gloriously long and dangerously tempting. The vibe? Think hip but not hipster, chill but not boring. Staff are friendly and know their hops from their barley, which is always a good sign. No kitchen here, but don’t panic — you can grab a kebab from nearby and bring it in like a seasoned beer bar pro. Nothing says “living your best life” like sipping a hoppy IPA while unwrapping a late-night döner. In short: great beer, great people, no food — but who needs food when you have liquid bread and kebabs around the corner?

Great beer selection, both on tap and in bottles/cans. Friendly and helpful staff. There was an event when we were there with some kind of cookout outside. We tried some food and it was delicious. Also bought some beers to go and they had a good selection of barrel aged beers, which I really enjoyed.

My husband found this restaurant on google, and the reality was so much better than the review. We had the cheese pie as a starter to share, yummy! Chef's bread with nanna's secret - what a delight. I had the fish, cooked to perfection and oh so delicious. Hubby had a pork, he loves it. I was looking for a restaurant when I found this gem by chance. The waiters were very friendly and able to give good advice on the dishes. The food was simply perfect. Not too big of a portion but very tasty and well combined. We were served an appetizer free of charge as well. I would definitively recommend a visit. A reservation would be good beforehand.

Wonderful restaurant, amazing food combinations. The house made bread is excellent, fluffy and a bit like a marble cake. Team is very helpful explaning each menu item. Certainly one of the best experiences here.

Was a fantastic and authentically Estonian meal. I ordered the chef’s choice fish and the three chess appetizer and both were delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant and the quality of the food both exceeded expectations. Moreover the price was manageable given the overall excellence of the restaurant.

We went to the restaurant for lunch, the service was great and the waiter was very helpful. We tried the elk and the lamb and both were amazing, well cooked with nicely cooked vegetables and sauce. Their bread with molasses is amazing as well. We would like to thank our waiter and kitchen staff for modifying the dishes to meet our dietary restriction, will definitely go back for more

Exceptional restaurant in Tallinn! I got lucky as a walk in- where they were otherwise booked. So take note- make a reso. I’m so grateful I got in! I had the crayfish tartar with the Apple cocktail. Then, the steak with a cabernet sauvignon. Finished with the chocolate cake and mint tea. Everything was wonderful The room is beautiful and cozy. Service was on point and personable. This is a favorite now.

Definitely a wonderful experience, but do not count on the food as a meal for the day especially if your from the Arab region. We ordered the deer dish to share just to be cautious and we never finished it! I recommend coming in just for the experience and maybe try something out of curiosity but don’t count on the food flavors too much. The bathrooms were absolutely terrible and overall I believe the place could be maintained better than its current status (unless its part of the intended atmosphere) The staff were the highlight of the experience, they are so into character with their gestures, language, and overall spirit. Would not come back again but would recommend visiting at least once.

Even though this looks like a textbook tourist trap, and the dishes are rather expensive, this was an overall good experience for me. The restaurant looks interesting, and the waiter was pleasent and quick. I ordered a meat tasting plate (as it was one of the rare cheaper options), and was surprised at how tasty it was. I really enjoyed it. The downside is that if you are very hungry and also short on money, this place is better to be avoided as the full course for lunch would cost a fortune.

This is my dream restaurant. It's fully lit by candles and has a medieval theme. It's super spacious - 3 levels. Attention to detail is well appreciated. The bathrooms especially! At first I couldn't find the toilet paper and soap! 🤣 Yes it's slightly pricey but worth it in my opinion. Staff are incredible ! After all, this is a whole experience in itself. Best birthday feast ever.

Although the cuisine isn't Michelin-level perfection, it absolutely nails the authenticity of the medieval theme. The service was phenomenal. Waiters and waitresses in traditional clothes were always helpful, patiently introducing the menu, and making personalized recommendations as if they were dining with you. P.S. A special shout-out to the unique design of the men's room—worth a peek! 🤣

Went for dinner and was not disappointed! Absolutely fantastic environment with staff dressed and speaking periodically correct. There was also a live band playing original instruments and music. Food was delicious too. Dinner and a drink cost €60 but was well worth it. I highly recommend it.

The main thing about this restaurant is the old world charm. They have created a great experience with retaining the decor, the food to follow and good service. However, since Tallin is mainly catering to tourists, this was the only place during our trip to Finland-Tallin, the server asked us for a tip. Food is overpriced for sure, but I suppose if you are looking to experience something different and eat some unique meat like deer and bear, this is the place to visit

After a long day of driving, we ended up here for a beer and some dinner. The atmosphere is great, and I love all the eclectic items on the wall and placed around the room. Especially love the animals carrying beer in a old wagon when you went to the front door. The service was slow and a little cold, but not horrible. The food was pretty good and I highly recommend you try their darker beer.

We joined an evening with live music and the place was lively! The beer is good, and the menu has options for any taste! We went with the duck leg and a local dish and enjoyed it a lot! The decorum reminded us of Bavarian pubs but with a Nordic twist.

Beer house in Tallinn, great establishment. The atmosphere reminds me on my hometown Munich, Bavaria. The kitchen is German, or Bavarian better said. The quality is great and due to only a few customers at noon during the week, we didn't need to wait so long for our meals which were prepared fresh.

We were there on Friday. The food and cocktails were good, but there were no entrance checks, and the lack of security seemed odd for such a venue. Later that night, people started entering with plastic bottles of drinks. The decor was magnificent, and you were confused about which way to look.

Such an amazing concept and location! Super stylish interior, down to the last detail. Very cool mix of lounge, restaurant and cocktail bar, fancy but nothing extreme. Food and cocktails are amazing and the price is really fair for such a nice place. Service was more than excellent, from the host who's seating you, to the service staff who was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Would probably recommend making a reservation beforehand (especially for groups).

A fabulous restaurant with great food, amazing cocktails, friendly staff, and a good music selection playing. We had the Tenderloin Steak, and the accompanying cherry sauce was a unique twist we had never experienced before and was lovely. It is an absolutely beautiful place inside and out. If we ever return to Tallinn, we will be sure to return here again.

Came for a 7pm dinner on Saturday evening. The restaurant is very large but only 5-6 other tables were occupied so it felt a bit odd. We were seated at a high table right at the back on the side which wasn’t too fun. The restaurant was completely out of beer which was unfortunate as that was what we felt like. Service was ok - found it hard to get the attention of our waitress even though there were many staff working. Most seemed only interested in making cocktails or just standing around. Would not go back sorry.

Excellent place to drink or eat! The staff has been absolutely great, the location is easy to reach and see and the interior is a real work of art, period! Food quality is very nice, good quantity, pricing is reasonable and in line with the area - maybe a little less than the overcrowded touristic places around! Seemed to be really nice small cafeteria! I visited just to have something to take away and got some really tasty bruschettas. One with strawberries and brie cheese and another with mussels, shrimps and caviar. Would be nice to visit this place another time!

Very nice pub located in the heart of old town. We ordered 2 local beers which were both refreshing and tasteful. We also enjoyed the food in the pub we ordered the duck with cherry sauce and beef stripes which were both delicious.

I tried their tasty dark beer and an order of cheese balls which tasted delicious. They have 5 or so of their own beers on tap as well many other European beers. The bartenders were friendly and quick to help out with questions.

Nice interior and friendly service. Contrary to other reviews about slow or poor service, that was not our experience here. The service was actually quite nice. We got the burger which is their feature item. We also got the pork schnitzel. The burger is supposed to be a 21 day dry aged patty. Unfortunately it was quite bland and dry, lacking moisture and flavor. I would say the burger was okay, definitely wouldn't order that again, was disappointing. However, the schnitzel was really nice and flavorful. I would recommend that dish. Also tried their honey beer, ya it was quite nice.

Good sports bar to visit with friends. The place is clean but sparsely filled during off hours. Restroom isn't lit very well so you can barely see anything. Couldn't figure out how to make it brighter. Service was good, it took a while for food to arrive though. The burger arrived with fries they were ok. The burger itself was huge, just look at the size of the patty! You are getting a good amount of food just for that price. Now there are some problems with the burger. It's too big to eat it with your mouth only, you have to break it up, still it's going to make a huge mess anyway. Bun was odd, it wasn't soft but crispy not a pleasant kind of crispy. The patty while huge was very bland, there was almost no flavour which is a shame. I had to use sauce that came with fries (which was very good) on a patty and it helped a bit to make it taste better. There are places that do burgers better for sure, so don't expect much. Ice cream was good, guess you can't fail at ice cream, I've tasted ice crystals however, which means it was re-frozen.

After a whistle stop day in Tallinn, before heading south, we needed beer and food. Here we found just what we needed. An excellent collection of single malts, beers, cocktails and food! The sausage and cheese ‘snacks’ for sharing were exactly what we had craved, hearty and delicious fuel after an earlier, less than inspiring lunch in old town. The bar has an excellent atmosphere, robust furniture and really helpful and polite staff! Definitely stopping back here on our way back through!!!

Pretty good beer Hall, with their own beer selection and a nice menu. Their menu is huge, you will definitely find something. We had the fish bites and salad to start and then we shared a pork shank and it was good. It was a little on the dry side, but the cabbage was very nice and juicy with awesome home fries. Their house beer was good. Great place for large parties.

Today’s Visit in Tallinn – Kochi Aidad Kochi Aidad is located in the harbor area, at Lootsi 10-2, 10151 Tallinn. I’ve been here a couple of times before. This time we were two, and we were greeted politely and professionally in spacious and inviting surroundings. We kept it simple — each ordering a burger and a beer. From there, everything flowed smoothly. No waiting, no confusion — just natural, friendly service. The burger? Excellent. Top marks. And a special mention goes to our server, Marta, who did a fantastic job and truly deserves praise.

Good lical beer and food. Portions are really large and delucious. Nice brewey-style room, very spacious and full if air, also cozy with lots of natural materials used in the design. The staff could be more attentive though.

Kochi Aidad in Tallinn is a great spot for a local beer. The friendly staff explained the house-brewed options and helped us pick something to our taste. The beer was cold, tasty, and served in a lovely setting, both indoors and out. We didn’t try the food, but dishes at nearby tables looked delicious.

This restaurant was incredible! The atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the food and the service is amazing. Our waiter, Mattias was really enthusiastic and friendly. While we waited for the food, he brought colouring papers for my daughter, then later on when we already had our food, he made sure that we are having a great experience, despite the fact that there were alot of guests during the night, and the staff was probably overwhelmed. All in all, we had a really great time, and I would reccomend this place to anyone.

Might be one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The breading was insane 🤯 All the ingredients tasted fresh and clean. Beer was great, dumplings and sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Staff was nice and helpful in English. Atmosphere was nice and chill. So much to do in the local area as well. A must visit area if you’re anywhere in Tallinn.

Food was awesome, staff was very accommodating of allergies and even had a menu in English in addition to Estonian. Have an oat allergy so couldn’t have the gluten free bread but staff suggested an absolutely delicious duck dish and cheesecake for dessert instead that I could safely eat. Was the best tasting duck I had this decade.

Great setting (cosy and edgy but also clean and spacious), lovely service and seems like chilled, kind clientele. This makes for a great experience, before we even get to the food! Gluteen Free! I will tell you once again. Free of Gluteen! I came here to celebrate a birthday and suddenly felt as if I had entered a vintage, relaxed 5D star-style restaurant. The vibes were fantastic. Perhaps it was the trivia night, or maybe it was the delicious food combined with an atmosphere filled with references to famous Estonian personalities, but everything was wonderful. The vibe of the restaurant was Western style, which is cool for me to enjoy. They had table service while placing orders but we had to come to counter for paying, which was confused for us to understand at first (minus 1). We ordered two burgers. Burgers tasted ok, not so food but not bad. Burgers did not come with fries so we ordered one fries extra. Turned out the fries were the star of the meal. Crunchy, full of flavour of cheese.

A stylish restaurant with motorcycle-themed interior. Dishes are served on metal plates. I really appreciate this concept. The waiters are fun and friendly. In general, I enjoy the vibe in the restaurant. The food itself is fine. I must confess that I had high expectations. Don't get me wrong. I still liked the dishes we ordered. It's just that the interior and the style impress me more than the food.

First, the menu on the website and the one on-site have different items and prices. The food we ordered tasted okay but was only lukewarm when it arrived. The potato wedges were crispy, but the cheese sauce was cold. They also served sauces that were past their expiration date. Overall, the experience was average at best, and the service lacked attention.

The food was overpriced. We ordered brisket which costed 26€. The size of the dish was small and brisket was wet without any smokiness. The brisket had also a thick amount of fat. We ordered octopus dish too which costed 24€. It contained only one octopus leg. 5€ mango-passion drink's size was 0,3l. With these prices I'd recommend you to enjoy somewhere else.

Always great selection of craft beer but first time having their food. Will return again for both! Small menu and to be fair food was a bit pricey for the amount. Nonetheless very tasty. The cheese toastie was gooey inside with crisp outside. Bonus for their hot sauce they give table side! Truly spicy with great flavors.

We love their beers but we were sort of disappointed by the pub. They have info on google maps that the kitchen is open until 23:00, we arrived at 22:00 and they said it was closed… but they did have some spicy nuts. Bathroom was in a very bad state.

Nice tap selection from BrewDog, but not only - you'll find some Estonian and UK craft beer. Bartenders are friendly and helpfull. Rooms are industrial, but warm, which is nice with a snow knee deep on the streets.

Actually surprisingly good Brewdog location. Their bars have gotten worse and worse when opening to new locations but this one really had industrial vibes with good service and great selection of local beer. It is funny that they barely had their own beers available, probably because they only make Punk IPA nowadays. But worth a visit!

I came here for a group event. The place is spacious and cozy, the interior is historic - nice wooden-leather chairs and wooden tables. The personnel are friendly and fast. The location is very central - close to many bus stops and to the city square. The prices are very friendly, I ordered a beer and paid around 4 eur. In addition, they have warm food, snacks and a selection of beers, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. I can definitely recommend this place.

This is my go to shop as is it close to where I live, it also big, has variety of vegetables, berries, fruits, bakery, it has everything you might need. I am lactose and gluten intolerant and I can find here everything. But it is pricy.

I've met the kindest employees in retail here, and I believe this location seems keen on hiring them on purpose. This Selver has a lot of everything, from home-cleaners, vacuums and such, to a very broad selection of meats, veg, dried goods and bakery items.

Great location, easy to reach from the bus / train stations and Old Town. Hostel is nice with many showers, plenty of bathrooms, and lockers for storage. The entrance of the hostel and bar was completely separate and it was very secure. The night we went to the public bar area the live music was too grungy / alternative for our taste. There are some games and pool (billiard) tables as well. Lots of space to hang out, to meet locals and other travelers. Loved the ceiling and wall decor.

Nice, typical Australian hostel with happy hours and super happy hours for cheap beer. The visitors build their community through activities such as pub crawls etc. The people working in the reception were willing to help and very kind. Showers were also clean. The only thing I did not like is that bedrooms were a bit "not-so-clean" and I felt a bit "insecure" in terms of people not locking the doors in the bedrooms and stuff like that. Besides that it's a nice place to stay and very close to the old town.

Interesting place. The furniture and decorations are different every time I visit. Music is great, staff is friendly, got some games as well. I have never stayed at the hostel but I visit the bar quite often. It's usually full of travellers from all over the World so that makes the bar a great place to hear insane stories.

The hostel was cosy and nice to spend a night. Staff was great and very helpful. There is a kitchen where you can make some breakfast and also use some free to use products from the fridge. There is also a beer happy hour at the hostel when you can get a beer for only 1 euro. The showers could use some more shelf space. The bar was a nice discovery that reminded me of my youth. The interior is a bit trashy but you get to play beer pong with your friends and there are 2 pool tables. I was surprised and happy to see their jukebox system and they had a wide selection of rock and indie music. If you are into this vibe, definitely check it out.

We had a great stay here last weekend. The hostel is very clean and well organized. The staff were amazing and a big shout out to Luana for being such a good sport. She was amazingly helpful at all times. The common area in the hostel is very social and is a great place to meet other travelers. If you are in Tallinn, this hostel is highly recommended.

I've been there with 5 friends. We are all 20-25. We enjoyed the bar next to the hostel, you can play some drinking games in there. The employees are really nice. You get free coffee in the morning and a fresh towel.

Great beers, I highly recommend trying their dark beer selection. They have beers on tap as well as cans and bottles. We prefer tap since it’s always fresh and somehow tastier than canned. 😄 You can also enjoy some cold and warm snacks alongside your beer as well as several options of main dishes and pizzas - everything that we ordered was homelike and tasty.

Great beers with a lot of unique options ! I really recommend trying the smoothie sours, they're especially a good option for people who are generally the biggest fan of beers I'd say. The more classic beers were great too. Also worth noting that the place looks very cozy, I don't know what kind of place this used to be but it gives the bar a very pleasing vibe.

Popped in here around 5ish on a Wednesday evening, lovely old building, think it was a working mill. Good atmosphere. Chatted to a chap at the bar about cricket. And the barman Matt? was superb. Very friendly, he also had time in between being busy at the bar to give us some handy advice for our trip to Japan next year. Nearly forgot, great beers, especially the Captain Swindlefudge.

Probably in my top two breweries in the world - obviously this is the tap room. Not the actual brewery, but it was great. Visited 4 times in under 24 hours. Loved it.

Good place to enjoy drinks and have a chat! They have a large selection of beers, staff are super and always cleaning up the tables. Place has two floors both include an outside terrace area, which is super to enjoy nice weather.

Visited Pohja Konn for some tap beer after dinner in the area. Since it was a Friday evening, the place was packed both inside and out on the terrace, so I waited about 10 minutes in the queue on the first floor. The crowd was mostly young and had a very international feel. A lively spot I can definitely recommend for a chill time and some drinks while in the area.

Põhjala was a blast to try for a beer lower with 20+ beers on tap and much more to choose! With a vibrant and lively atmosphere and knowledgeable and super friendly staff this brewery and tap room is a must visit while in Tallinn. Beer styles ranges from the normal lager to smoothie sour beers, from dark beers to ciders, there is something for anyone here! And they can be ordered in various sizes as well. The venue is laidback and industrial as well as open. Location wise it’s just 10 minutes from old town and it’s also placed next to other cool bars and places to dig in for late night snacks. It’s not the cheapest venue, but worth it still!

Maria is the best bartender! She makes you feel confident and takes the time to explain each shot, like the "Sparta." Her friendly approach and knowledge make the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Purtse is a phenomenal place to grab a drink! I highly recommend the Wild East (in Estonian, Metsik Ida), which is floral and hoppy but well-balanced. The tap room is located near Creative City and the Balti Jamma Turg, two spots that are super fun to explore. Great service from the staff, as well, who were understanding when I mentioned I didn’t speak Estonian.

Loved the beer, decor and friendly service at this tap room! Recommend the hazy IPA in particular, such delicious beer! Plus can't wait to try this mosaic.

With the brewing kit nowhere to see, I presume it's a dedicated tap-room of Purtse brewery (located out of the city), not a brewpub. It's tiny, but ambient, wide selection of house beers on tap and in the fridge. Had one of the best tomato beers ever there 🍻

Better avoid on a miserable rainy afternoon

Just went there to get a brownie for 5 euros and the lady working there was very friendly. The brownie tastes pretty good and I feel mellow. Also learned about this new thing that I need to try next time that (supposedly) has a similar effect to the, if I'm not mistaken Wish stupid Sweden (where I'm from) would sell CBD but they are a bunch of alcoholics and snus addicts who think they are better than us.

I recently visited this CBD shop and was really impressed with the quality of their products and the level of customer service. The staff helped me choose the right product based on my needs. This place is truly amazing, a perfect blend of art and aesthetics, both in the form of paintings and in the presentation of food and cocktails. The service was really lovely, we were warmly welcomed, guided to the table and everything on the menu and cocktail list was explained to us. The food menu isn’t huge, but they offer nice selection of snacks. We ordered the snack tower for two which also included desserts. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted great. The tower included roast beef with sauce on black bread, duck confit on a pancake, a stuffed egg with mousse, cocktail shrimps and some vegetarian options such as truffle arancini, endive leaves with hummus and brioche with peperonata and stracciatella. All the snacks were delicious and I liked that they also offer veggie-friendly options. We also ordered the tuna tartare separately since it wasn’t included in the tower and it was absolutely delicious. The dessert part of the tower had lavender and bubble gum macarons and mochi with mandarin-pineapple and cherry-mulled wine flavors. The cocktails here are truly impressive, they’re just as stunning to look at as they are to drink. We tried I’ve Seen Love (sweet cherry gin cocktail), Black Sheep (with a bubble presentation, super refreshing), Luces de Amor with kiwi and Bloom and Grow with apricot. I highly recommend visiting this place at least for the cocktails and while you’re there, enjoy the art gallery too!

The mixologists here are true artists. Each cocktail is crafted with precision using premium spirits and unexpected flavor combinations that surprise and delight. My personal recommendation is to describe your taste preferences and let the bartenders work their magic! While the drinks took center stage, the service was unpretentious.

Wow! Most unmissable bar in Tallinn. It is located on the top floor of an art gallery, we thought we were in the wrong place at first because you can't see the bar from the outside. But once you've made your way inside, there's great artwork inspired cocktails and the only english teatime in town.

The drinks had black dots in them, even the replacement drinks. The food is nasty and the place is run by a nonchalant bartender/server that could not care less. Go anywhere else.
